But the bottom line, to me, is do you want to get yourself back in that head coaching chair? Now, I will say this. When you take over as the head coach, there is a grind that's that you have to have, but you are in so much in charge of the day to today operation of the football team and holding the coaches accountable in doing all those things that maybe for whatever reason, maybe the appearance is that guy is not grinding on football, like he needs, but I would just say this. If you look back on your bill's career and say, man, I didn't do what I wanted to do. I didn't obtain what I wanted to attain there. I want another opportunity. Well, then you're going to put your nose back to the grindstone and go get that done. And I thought what he did in his tenure with the jets was pretty incredible. Because he did that without without a legitimate big time QB. I understand that Mark Sanchez with the 5th overall pick and all that. But come on now, none of us looked at Mark Sanchez like he's the answer, right? You realize who Rex Ryan's quarterbacks were as a head coach. They were Mark Sanchez and Tyrod Taylor. Right. And he still in 8 years of coaching has a almost 500 record. And it has four playoff wins. Yeah. With Mark Sanchez and Tyrod Taylor is his quarterback. Right. It's pretty remarkable. When you think about it. By the way, doing it in Brady's division. All those trying to do it in Brady's debate. I'm right. Yeah, that even makes it trying to do it against Brady and Belichick. Right. So if you want to get back in, you got the opportunity to get back in, but what you got to do is you got to come to a place where you can put together a stellar defensive performance for a couple of years. And you'll get another opportunity. If I would imagine, I got to believe the only reason he's entertaining this is because he wants to be a head coach again. Yeah, he can't be just, hey, you know, I missed the game. Let's go back to being a defensive coordinator. Because if that was his motivation, I would question that. But if he's serious about wanting to be a hit, and I do believe that when he got into TV, he thought that the phone would ring pretty quick. 'cause his name was out there. And I was, I was recommending Rex for this job where they were moving on from kubiak. Definitely when they were getting ready to hire Vance, I was talking up Rex. Rex is but then years pass. Sure. You know, you get associated with being a TV guy and pretty soon that's who you are. Remember for years. Hey, Bill tower. Bill cowher, Bill cowher. Right. At some point, you know, you get to a point where you've been doing TV for so long. They stop talking about you. In that vein. So I think that I think that Rex thought he'd be back being a head coach by now. The other thing is the way to do it. Right. For a guy like Bill cowher, I mean, that guy can look at it like, hey man, went to two super bowls with the Steelers. We won one. I think it was two in one. He'd been doing it for so long with the Steelers. Then he gets in a TV and goes, hey man, this is all the itch I need to scratch. I'm good. I'm a good money. I've got much more of a home life. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. I can see that. Here's another opportunity, by the way, so rob Ryan Rex's brother has been a has been a coach for a very long time. Last time I saw cash, what was his Payton's D.C. for three years? Yeah. Around 2011, 2014. Where did I see rob black? Where was rob coaching? So rob was coaching in and he went and did what's the European? Was he in Chicago last year? Anyhow, what's the European equivalent of ESPN? Is it Sky Sports? Rob Ryan was last ADC in New Orleans in Oregon in 2015. And he hasn't coached since 2015. Rob? Let's see. No, no, no. And they do like they do the equivalent of NFL live on London. It's kind of cool. And I've done some work for them via satellite. Which is kind of cool. I know he did that. But yeah, so rob has been so it'd be a chance to get with your brother. Rob was with Rex in 2016 in Buffalo, okay? A chance again to get with your brother and have him coach linebackers and he knows kind of what you want or telling me we could have Rex and rob. Does rob still have the loss along here? You know if you can get a few of the hurt players back, you know and add them. You don't need a whole lot. We all know it's the pitching. It's the frontline rotation. "Very well could be the reason for Ah lot of these injuries because You know you had a start and then a stop and then a start and his shortened season and then come back and try to be normal. But this year when everything else is happening, you don't last year If you had something going on in the last ends, I mean anything had the chance to stand out because it was a vacuum. If they would've showed one episode of weak It would have lasted 10 weeks instead of just five. You can go rewatch it and watch every single speech.
