"Before getting into anything else, I want to make sure that we recognize the folks in the south who have dealt with mother nature's fury. And I come from a part of the world the Midwest where we get our share of tornadoes, we get our share of straight line, hurricane force winds, a phenomenon called a derecho and I was driving through a town I used to live in the other day that had a tornado one year and two years later had the derecho that caused tremendous damage. This is the kind of thing that it takes generations to recover from. Obviously more than two dozen people lost their lives Friday and Mississippi. In these storms that come after dark, rain wrapped as they say, you just don't see it, the wonderful thing about technology and radar these days is that they can detect it and get the warning out. But sometimes the storms are just too powerful. And so for the, what, 25, I believe, are now reported dead in Mississippi countless dozens other of others are injured. And then, of course, the storms didn't let up, even this morning, still some severe thunderstorms through parts of Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia up into South Carolina. So for all of those good folks in this region, we are thinking about you. We are praying for you. And if you are so inclined to provide some help.
