And then finally, rod Rutledge caught a pass for 6 yards. I remember going, who is this guy? That's not bad for. When you look at the end of the result for drafted in the 6th round in 2199th overall. Oh, boy. You know, when did you know he was great? When did you see I was a big fan when he was with Michigan? Yeah. I saw him there. Yeah, I'm a Michigan guy, so I saw him on the field and I'm like, yeah, this is good. And then like you said, we saw his frozen debut and I'm like, Tom, get the nerves away, man. But the goat is going to be like no question. Yep. I used to think it was Montana, but now it's Brady. Yes. What is his style? Talk to someone right now, listening a really doesn't know football. That would be me. What is the Brady method versus the great Joe Montana? Or others? Well, first of all, one thing Brady always thought about was I got to have a great O line. He knew he had to appreciate an O line because he wasn't that much of a scrambler. But he was excellent in picking out his receivers and methodical in his game plan on getting his receivers to understand, okay, this is the route that you have to run. And if you see him explode sometimes, it's because the runner didn't run that route that he should have. The longevity, Tom. I mean, 45, I'm not sure. The video today, folks, for those of you that haven't seen check out the Brady for sure. He's in a T-shirt. He looks like he's two years out of Michigan. The MLK We Didn't Know

"Is Martin Luther King's movement any different than Black Lives Matter movement? Because if you listen, they don't talk about that Martin Luther King pushed Marxism. They don't talk about the fact that Martin Luther King pushed government intervention and government assistance. More so than he did self accountability. And people don't talk about the fact that Martin Luther King didn't write that speech. Nobody talks about that part. People don't talk about the part where Martin Luther King, if you listen to any of his other speeches or any of the other things that he did, it was very different. He hung around people who were known marxists. People who did not believe in what they project that Martin Luther King is saying today. Show me a sermon for Martin Luther King. A lot of what Martin Luther King was was an activist. And again, I'm not trying to bash him. I'm really not. I'm trying to give you a different perspective. Because if you look at Jesse Jackson, show me a sermon from Jesse Jackson. Show me a sermon from reverend Al sharpton. They don't, they don't do sermons. They use the pillars of the black community and influence of having the title reverend to be an activist in the community to have some respect. And they use that in my personal opinion to manipulate and to get in the minds of black people to believe them. And I would argue that the certain people and I would argue the white Marxist leftist liberals Ireland call them liberals that mostly leftists, they are finding and using these black people influence in these black people giving them platforms to push their agenda. Because I'll go on for Martin Luther King. I mean, look at the people who hung around Martin Luther King. And people, you know, I seen the documents and information and I want to have my guy Chad Jackson on here. They give you the full perspective of it because he's a lot more knowledgeable, but I saw the video. I saw the content. Uncle Tom two alludes to a little bit of it. But there's an Uncle Tom three that I hope that they put out. That goes into it. I saw it behind the scenes that goes into everything about Martin Luther King.

"Is Bloomberg radio. Now, a global news update. The White House says President Biden does intend to run again in 2024. Biden reportedly told reverend Al sharpton last month he will seek reelection while the two posed for a photograph in the Roosevelt room in The White House. White House press secretary karine Jean Pierre reiterated things on Tuesday. This is not a trial. That's what Alex Jones said outside a Connecticut courthouse today. It comes as a jury is considering how much the controversial Internet host and conspiracy theorists should have to pay for his repeated claims that the sandy hook school massacre was a hoax. Jones said he didn't kill the kids who died in the school shooting. Police in Northern California are still on the hunt for a possible serial killer linked to 7 shootings, including at least 6 murders, most of the victims came in Stockton with the first coming in Oakland last year, since July of this year, 5 men have also been killed in Stockton. Ballistics testing shows that the same type of weapon was used in each case. The IRS says it does not send you texts requesting your info, as lucinda K explains do not click. "Meanwhile let's get back to reverend sharpton who arrogantly says that Joe Rogan apology is not enough. He needs to follow it up with action, says a man who has never apologized for tawana braley has a series of things on his resume that would make any self respecting person hide under the bed and maybe only come out at night. New van windows smashed out the mob, yelling their anger with the mayor. Whereas the reverend Al sharpton led a protest in The Crown heights neighborhood in March next to a protester with a sign that read the white man is the devil. Did you march next to a sign that said? I have no recollection of that. I've watched in many things where there were signs that I did or did not agree with. Can you imagine what they would have done to Trump if he had said, hey, fraction of what river now has said? You ever referred to African Americans who disagree with you as yellow and then the N word? I don't know that I've referred to people as names. I don't know if it's because I disagree with me, but I have said things about black sand whites. I'm glad you made it clear that I don't only attack whites. Thank

"Politics out of this case. Well, I will tell you that this is the judge. That was it. And the fact that nobody else even noticed that he was in here means that everybody complied with this court's rulings on sitting in this courtroom and listening to the evidence. I don't care emotion, and I will tell you this, I'm not going to blanketly exclude members of the public from this courtroom. So. That's audio from video obviously. And if you could see this moron of a defense attorney with his hands up in the air now, I don't have anything against reading a sharpton. Right. I don't know if you've seen the footage brother, but yeah. Just just insane, right? Flagrant straight up racism. I get, okay, your job is to defend more racist. Okay, you know, I guess racists are gonna hire a racist to defend them, right? But that's. How they presented themselves. Anything about white pastors that might be sitting in the audience. Right. Exactly. That might be there to support the might be there to support the mcmichaels, right? Exactly. That would have been just fine, judge. Right, right? Okay. So I want to believe and I do believe generally that things have progressed in the south since I live there. But, you know, here's an example, sadly, of someone who is just, this is how he chose to position this situation. He didn't like black pastors being in. And I played the whole clip so that you guys could get the full context. He felt, I guess intimidated by for now sharpton. And I'm not a huge fan of reverend Al personally. But the judge was absolutely correct. He wasn't disrupting. It wasn't even talking. It wasn't like he was staring down Greg mcmichael. Or anybody else, he was just sitting there. So I don't know. Take it as you will. So then this also became another issue further. In the closing argument of this case, the other difference attorney for the son of Greg mcmichael chose to characterize mister Arbery, the deceased, in this case. In this particular clip here. He can end up creeping into a home that is not his own. And running away instead of facing the consequences. Acting erratically when approached and making terrible, unexpected, illogical choices. But a mother's love doesn't fade. So let's stop right there. Making bad choices. She goes. Describing Ahmad's behavior, presumably. Again, this was a kid running through a neighborhood. We decided at one point, yeah, a house looked interesting. He stopped because it was under construction. But she felt this was odd behavior apparently. Here's more. From that beautiful boy in the bald cap. To the young intruder. Intruder. So she's talking about a picture of the deceased. To present day, calling him an intruder. So she goes from cute kid in a cap to an intruder. And sadly, no verdict can change the grief of that future, not realized. The hope that he could have turned himself around. Because all we can guess about the young man is that his teenage years were full of promise, but his early 20s just led him in the wrong direction. The fact presented in this trial, bear no resemblance. To the story that the state told you an opening statement. A 25 year old who met a brutal death after being chased and killed by residents of a neighborhood who wanted nothing more than to murder him for having the audacity to jog in their neighborhood. Not a single piece of evidence that's been presented to you in this entire trial. Supports such a hateful and gruesome set of circumstances. Turning ahmaud Arbery into a victim. After the choices that he made does not reflect the reality. The choices he made was to jog in that neighborhood and only this. And stopped, I want to say two minutes brother. Two minutes. Because he peered into a house and then left and continued on with his jog. This woman. Characterizes him as in essence. Criminal. A career criminal, exactly. That's what she tried to do. Exactly. When he had no police record at all, exactly. Here's the rest of it. Of what brought Ahmad Arbery to satilla shores. In his khaki shorts with no socks to cover his long, dirty toenails. There were two sets of decision makers on February 23rd. It is not just the mcmichael's decisions that led to this tragedy. And it is a tragedy. I.

"The CBS News Weekend Round up and Allison Keyes this week, black civil rights activists, including Reverend Al Sharpton turned up at the funeral for White 17 year old shot and killed by a sheriff's deputy in Arkansas. Bunch of Britain's family says he was not armed when he was shot during a traffic stop. Last month, CBS Jerica Duncan tells us the civil rights activists are sending a message so Hunter Britain was shot by a police officer and died subsequent to being shot. Reverend Al Sharpton and Ben Crump, the attorney, as you know, for George Floyd's family, one of the attorneys they were at the funeral for Hunter, Britain. He was 17 years old. The police officer who was involved in the shooting, did not turn their camera on during the actual shooting, but turned it on after, uh the officer was fired because he did not follow policy. But the sheriff of that county low note, County said. As of right now, it's under investigation because they don't have all of the facts that they need to make a decision As to whether or not this officer will be charged. Um, but to see Reverend Al Sharpton to see Ben Crump at this young man's funeral was different because we know that they have been on the front lines when it comes to justice for African Americans, justice for black people, but Service. The focus was, it really doesn't matter whether you're black or white. This is about justice being served and police being held accountable for the actions that they take when they end with a fatality as they did with Hunter, Britain. And this was a white teenager, and I remember during the funeral, Reverend Sharpton said. Once he learns that they felt they had to come, that's correct. And you know what was what I thought was striking is you know, Reverend Al Sharpton said that You know, I haven't always done the right thing. You know, he sort of said something to that effect about but I hope that you know when my day comes talking about when he passes on transitions, however, you want to put it that he will be judged by sort of this big picture this bigger narrative of justice for all, And I thought that was interesting. Because you've seen literally an evolution of you know, some of what Reverend Al Sharpton has said in the past, um but I thought it was interesting for Reverend Al Sharpton to make those points about, you know, saying, I haven't always done everything right? But here's where I'm I am today, and when it's all said and done, we should all be coming together. He also said something to the effect of you know, I don't care if you have your trump spent on or your Biden and on we all need to be Moving toward justice for all. So it was a call to say this really is not a black or white issue. This is about having issues with how policing is done in a way that you shoot first and ask questions later as they stated at at the memorial service. It should be pretty interesting to see how that message goes over with other civil rights activists around the country. Yes, and I think to know that they are the leaders. If you will, at the forefront of a lot of these cases involving police shootings, it definitely sends a message. It sends a message. Um, that just reminds people that you know the bigger issue, according to Reverend Al Sharpton and an attorney, Ben Crump. Is policing has to change We need to, you know, have to ask more questions. Or we need to start asking more questions about how, um training is done and the biases and how that impacts the decisions that are made. Uh so I think then, like I said, being the leaders if you will To be at this young man's funeral definitely sent a message and they promised to follow up with this family and be with and throughout this case and whatever happens, you know, they said that they will be there for the family. However, they are needed and I believe that they will probably stay in touch with the family. The family will update them on the case, and we'll see what happens to this police officer. CBS is Jerica Duncan. The western part of the nation, including Southern California, Arizona and Nevada, are in.

"Who are weighing in on Marjorie Taylor Greene and one of those weighing in is Joe Scarborough, Joe Scarborough. The Republicans can't get rid of her. And what kind of standard do they have? You know? Joe Scarborough is the same station with Al Sharpton. And they're now good boss. Let's bring in Reverend Al Sharpton to talk about a couple of cases going on right now, Reverend. It's always great to see you. Thanks for For being here with us. Good to see you. House congressional resolution to 70. March 8 2000. Mr Scarborough submitted the following concurrent resolution was which was referred to the committee on the Judiciary. Concurrent resolution condemning the racist and anti Semitic views. The Reverend. Al Sharpton. Let's bring in Reverend Al Sharpton to talk about a couple of cases going on right now, Reverend. It's always great to see you think. Whereas Congress. Congress strongly rejects the racist and incendiary actions of Reverend Al Sharpton. Whereas The reverend outstripping, have referred to members of the Jewish faith as blood sucking Jews. And you bastards! Whereas the river now strap is referred to members of the Jewish faith as white interlopers. And diamond merchants. Whereas the Reverend Al Sharpton was found guilty of defamation by a jury and a New York court arising from the false accusation that former Assistant District Attorney Stephen Pagonis, who was white. Raped and assaulted a 15 year old black girl. Whereas to this day, the Reverend Al Sharpton have refused to accept responsibility and expresses no regret for defaming Mr Begonias, whereas the Reverend Al Sharpton vicious verbal, anti Semitic attacks. Record that members of the Jewish faith In particular a Jewish landlord arising from a simple landlord tenant dispute with the black tenant inside it, widespread violence, riots and the murder of five innocent people. Whereas the Reverend Al Sharpton is fierce demagoguery, incited violence, riots and murder in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn in New York, following the accidental death of a black pedestrian child hit by our motorcade. Of Rabbi Monica Schneerson. Whereas the reverend al struggle led a protest in the Crown Heights neighborhood and march necked next to a protester with a sign that read. The White man is the devil, whereas the Reverend Al Sharpton has insulted members of the Jewish faith. By challenging Jews to violence and stating the Jews to pin down there. You're makos. And whereas the Reverend Al Sharpton has practiced the politics of racial division and made inflammatory remarks against whites by characterizing the death of Amadou Diallo as a racially motivated police assassination. Now, therefore be it resolved by the Congress that the Congress condemns the practices of Reverend Al Sharpton, which seek to divide Americans on the basis of race, ethnicity and religion expresses its outraged over the violence that has resulted due to the Reverend Al Sharpton, incendiary words and actions and fervently urges elected officials in public servants. You have Condoned and legitimize wherever now sharpened incendiary words and actions to publicly denounce and condemn such racist and anti Semitic views. Let's bring in Reverend Al Sharpton to talk about a couple of cases going on right now, Reverend. It's always great to see thanks for For being here with us. Good to see you. I got nothing else to say. I rest my case. Maxine Waters, the one who urged people to surround Trump Cabinet members. Let them know they're not welcome anywhere anymore, says Donald Trump, should be charged with Premeditated murder. I know women in Congress often threaten and we're at risk. And just as a LSI was threatened that day. I was lucky I was locked in my office. I would not leave it even when they tried to get me to go to where they were gathering all of the members in one room. I'm glad I didn't because of the contagion that took place there and the members who ended up with you know the covert 19. Uh, Letter to Castro. You're Fidel. Hope I haven't caught you at a bad time. And remember the 1992 rights here in L. A Was rebellion. It wasn't right. He was just people who were just expressing their outrage over injustice. When indeed are following the press. They weren't looting. That was just a woman who are so an opportunity to give her kids the milk, and she took it to the United States of America who had advanced planning about the invasion of the worry would advance planning. But I thought Donald Trump gave a speech and called everybody to just go crazy. But now you're saying that was advanced planning. It took place in our capital, and even there's information that some of them why would see Impeached for giving a speech. Calls an incitement to insurrection. And now you're saying it was preplanned planning came out of individuals working in his campaign. As a matter of fact, he absolutely should be charged with premeditated murder. David Dinkins, New York's first Black mayor, dies at 93

"Former new york city mayor. David dinkins passed away last night at the age of ninety three. Join now but the reverend al sharpton president the next action network and host of politics nation. Right here on. Msnbc and rev. i've met david dinkins in person because you. I met him through you. I think he was here to do at thirty rock to do an interview for your show. And i'm so excited to meet him. He was such a great man. What are you remember. most about David dinkins well. I knew david dinkins. Since i was a teenager when i was sixteen and started my national youth movement group. He was the lawyer that incorporated us and down through the years. We maintain the relationship. And sometimes i would argue would on call them names and one hundred be more strident and it took time to understand that. He had such grace even under the most tumultuous circumstances and i felt he should be more strident. He said al. You have to learn how to get the job done. Keep your eye on the prize. But i most remember. Is that when we were facing a police. Killing of a young man named ahmadou diablo. Who in the hell of forty one bullets was killed. Nine thousand nine hundred bullets for only gone in his debut. Stick in a key in the door and the police thought. They said they thought he had a weapon. He was just going home. They were looking for someone else and david dinkins. When we started protests every day we would go down to the police headquarters. The main one in new york and sit in and hundreds would be arrested. He called me one. One is at what time y'all have. The demonstrations was a former. I said ten in the morning. he's coming down. I said but we're getting arrested. He's out seeing the morning and he came down and went to one police plaza where he had been mayor and got on a knee way before colin cabinet. He took a knee and was arrested and had them cuffed him with congressman. Charlie rangel and himself and me and we went to jail fighting police reform that he started with that civilian complaint review board. He never left the struggle. He was not wanting to be loud and boisterous but he was firm and made real change happen. Yeah absolutely you know. We started off and we could see charlie rangel and james brown. Lots of people in the photos that are that. I don't know if you can see them. That are coming up as as you're talking and you know we started off by talking about the way that dinkins was taken out of office by rudy. Giuliani this rage. That giuliani stoked already. There in the police against what mayor dinkins wanted to do which was changed policing. I feel like we're kind of having a rerun of that conversation about black lives matter about whether or not police should be free to kill it will in black communities. He tried to do something about it. Wouldn't you take from that fight. Is it dispiriting to think that after great men like this have tried after. You've tried after we've had all of these movements. We're still fighting about this were you. Were you fight you win. You don't fight to say the fight is over in a certain amount of rows. This is not pro boxing wrestling. You fight to you win and every struggle has had long struggles. I remember when nelson mandela gain which you mentioned then david dinkins had me as potted group. That went to the un with him. And just jackson. All of us. And when i thought about it took nelson mandela being jailed. Twenty seven years after fighting many decades around the pon-tae. How can we complain about fighting. We fight to. We win knowing that the victory is certain. And that's what they dickens would always say and as i want more national from new york activism. He said you still fighting. Now keep fighting. He come down national action network rallies. In fact he was there just a few months ago. We had his ninetieth birthday there and we never forgot this. Gentle giant had a had a spine of steel. And he didn't need to be boisterous he just needed to be effective and he was the one that broke that ceiling and made people know you could be the ceo of the biggest city in the world and perform. He revitalized times square. He started this whole community policing and in many ways you are more than correct. Joy is almost like to study donald trump. You have to study rudy giuliani. They took credit for things then get predecessor did and they used race to try and rev up a political career that ended up embarrassing them at the end. Indeed amen. thank you reverend now. It's always great to talk with you. Revenue sharpen. Thank you very much. I

Rev. Al Sharpton discusses why it is imperative to 'Rise Up' in this moment

"Reverend Al Sharpton Welcome to the PODCAST for the first time, a bank you I'm glad to be with you Jonathan Your Book. Up was really terrific, it really was, and hopefully we can squeeze in as much as we can talk about it. One of the things that you write about that I found very interesting. You coined this term Tae Liberals who are they they are people that call themselves progressive. And they sit around the arising and philosophizing and strategized, but never really get into the fight they don't get the hamster. Months then not registered voters they're not engaged with people and it's Sorta like they sit in these elite circles than these Paula conversations sipping critiquing what all of us that are under front lines in the trenches doing, and they don't do anything themselves than they can afford to come with the most unrealistic impractical kind of stands because they don't have to go out and deal with families that are victimized of people that are outraged and that's why I said the del real problem because they will go for what is radically the most best sounding thing that is totally impractical in totally plays on the emotions of one. Thing. You write in the book you write quote a lot tae liberal may mean well, but his lack of empathy or understanding of the basic inequalities that go hand in hand with bigotry racism and economic disparity make him suspect to anyone struggling to get a foothold in the American dream I'd go so far as to say that if lots liberals had a better sense of these issues and they're black and Brown and immigrant brothers, there'd be no need for someone like me I think that the reason I wrote that as because I'm often asked why do people reach out to me they reach out to be because We have an organization that not only deals with the obviously organizing a protest in working with their legal in media needs what that really understand. It feels their pain and their rage 'cause we HAPP that thing and that rate and a lot of the lottery liberals seed Bam as a radical like on a chess board rather than real people lost their son to police violence or lost their a nephew on their cousin who had no preparation for that know nothing about. Nothing about anything that many of them don't even have to means to go. And take care of funeral expense and not liberals just see them as objects get to some politically field theory that they've been playing with. Elite of discussions and I think that that is why they got. You notice they never connected to the people in the community on the base that usually just analyzing something in saint quarters. In their privileged status because many of them, a privilege themselves. So they can experiment with risk fathers because they're not taking that risk when I read that passage in the book I wrote in the margins Bernie Critique because that was my big critique of Bernie Sanders when he ran in two thousand sixteen and then again, this go round in two, thousand twenty well, I had challenged Bernie and sixteen and I think he did better in eighteen of and I think he started to get it and I give me the turn of there's a lot of credit for that but I think that a lot of the indication that your critique and mind to him was right is The black vote how does he explain that will getting the Black Vote I. think that people you can say all you want liberal will explain to me why the progressives in quote don't get the black vote it is not because that blacks are anti progressive is that there's no connection and there's no involvement with a lot of Ale see another the different aid you know common related all of that but a lot of these that call themselves progressive totally removed from the people that they wanNA speak speak on behalf of people they don't speak to

Kentucky AG Warns to Not Let "Celebrities, Influencers and Activists" in Wake of Breonna Taylor Decision "Capture Our Emotions"

"Here, Kentucky's Attorney General. Daniel. Cameron. Today. According to Kentucky Law. The use of force by mattingly in Cosgrove was justified to protect themselves. This. Justification bars us from pursuing criminal charges. In Miss Brianna Taylor's death justice is not often easy. Does Not fit the mold of public opinion, and it does not conform to shifting standards. Now is the Reverend Al Sharpton. The host of MSNBC's politics. Nation. He's author of the New Book Rise up confronting a country at the crossroads which will be available Tuesday Reverend Sharpton, your reaction to what the attorney general had to say and what's unfolded tonight in Louisville. Out My reaction is that certainly it is not surprising, but it is still allowing to see that a grand jury and grand jury usually a totally framed by what the prosecutor plus before because that's the only lawyer in the role to come back and say that we will charge and also for all the violence that he did cause and the cause for those. Surrounding an area on apartment that we kill someone, but we will not charge him with killing. Someone shows an outrageous an unbelievable kind of justification for doing nothing around the death of Brianna Taylor. Brianna Taylor was not even mentioned in the indictment if anyone wants to know why we are saying black lives should matter they acrylic saying Louisville. The day did not math. That attorney general to even attack those of us that supported the family at the family's request saying that the celebrities and influence activists on that wealth from end to Kentucky or should not there to give their views when we're welcome there to watch horses run around the track for the Louisville Dirt Louisville Kentucky Derby. But we're not welcomed to stand up for the life of value and worth of a black woman who's only actions that night issue to better in our own home committing no crime involved with no criminal activity. That's why we continue to. That's why we should vote in. We should use the fact that you can vote in November even in Kentucky even though we couldn't vote the grand jury we ought, to sin, Mitch McConnell into retirement as a deposit on the justice we want for the retailers of. I want to let the audience here what you were just referring to the Kentucky Attorney General who is a Republican talked today about activists from out of state who don't live in Kentucky. As if they have no right to talk about this, let's listen to that. There will be celebrities, influencers and activists who having lived in Kentucky. We tried to tell us how to feel suggesting they understand the facts of this case that they know our community and the Commonwealth better than we do. But they don't. Let's not give into their attempts to influence our thinking or capture our emotions. It sounds like he was talking about you. Talking about me and many others than many that up right there on the ground. From out of state but let me remind people that all of the activities of Leonidas Attorney Ben crump was at the invitation of the Family WanNa. Justice. And if you know it's an old playbook calling people outside Agitators Monitor King Junior and John Lewis Super Far greater than us will call that that will not in any way stopped mood that's gone on all over this country and the way to deal with this, we must try to change the laws and one way to do that is to change the lawmakers. We must turn our pain in the power in the rubble must continue to non-binding march to keep these. Alive. Riyan Taylor matting her life matters and we don't have to be a citizen of Louisville to say that and many Citizens Louisville are saying that as well and just last week. The right thing did happen on the civil case the city settled with the family for twelve million dollars and you know that settlement never would have happened without you and others bringing national attention to this case. Well absolutely, and why would you settle for that record amount of money if there was no wrong had been done and one of the reasons that we marched by the tens of thousands in Washington just three weeks ago and details mother spoken that much is because we clearly need is George Floyd policing injustice act passed by the Senate, passed by the House that would also make will officers if they commit a crime are subject of of the lawsuits and pretzels have to deal with it taxpayers paying forward individual offices do and are not held accountable for we need to change the laws by changing the lawmakers.

Activist Frank Nitty's Walk From Milwaukee Concludes At March On Washington

"By by taking taking a a look look at at yesterday's yesterday's march march on on Washington, Washington, which which was was held held here here in in Washington, Washington, D. D. C. C. Thousands Thousands of of people people came came to to the the National National Mall Mall to to participate participate in in the the action action known as the commitment march to protest police violence and racial injustice. So we figured we let you know Whether we talk shop Fact or skinny, light skinned about skin black lives matter black people. Face a symbolic tell Cohn Every time we walk, speak up. SAP. Job drive and, yes, brain. No, just there's a knee upon the neck of democracy, and our nation can only live so long without the oxygen of freedom. We just march 750 miles from Milwaukee was causing 24 days the gear because we're not going to stop until we get Chang That was the Reverend Al Sharpton, Congresswoman Joyce Beatty, Martin Luther King. The third and the final voice you heard was Frank's Ncba, better known as Frank Nitti. He is a Milwaukee activists who like he said, walked 750 miles from Wisconsin to Washington, D. C. And Frank Nitti, miss with us Now. Welcome. Thank you for joining us, man. That's amazing. I haven't watched any media or hurting any of anything. But I really never looking myself religions of myself or anything like that. I'm all about like the message and coming together. So how do you feel? I mean, as you say, you know, you walked A long way. How you feel you tired? Is your body tired? Um, actually, I feel amazing. Believe it or not, I don't know how it was like a very spiritual journey for some reason. Even the last day I had walked 40 miles that morning, and then the group walked 42 miles in the Washington D. C that later on that evening, and my body was so fine And so is that like, literally, The last 20 miles, and there was a lady that came up. She came out. She said she was looking for me for four hours, and she was crying. And she had her kids, whether she like you're doing what nobody else could do. You know, Um, you're doing it for my kids. And you know this is such a big thing. And you almost There's a little bit more to go and she was crying and everything. And I started crying and everything, but he gave me so much energy and I was able to walk from there in the last hour. It was just some of my legs are so sore, But other than that, I sat down. I couldn't like walking my feet for two hour the hour and a half once I said it, and now I find I'm ready for the world. Like I woke up this morning like like I hadn't walked for him for the last 24 days. But there were also some some ugly things that happened along the way. I understand that members of your group had many trials that some members of the group were arrested members you know, a member of the group was accused of shoplifting after she had bought like hundreds of dollars of supplies that you were shot at in Pennsylvania. So I was just wondering if you were expecting sort of vitriol to be directed at you. What was crazy Wass? As soon as we got into the state of Indiana, some I was like, Get out the road spoke. You know, and we laugh. We just laughed or whatever you know to me, but it was like You can kind of predict as soon as you cross the state line and take like 15 steps. You know, it was about two blocks, and someone has said that, you know, and we knew about the racism there with at the time I didn't know like Over the home of the K. K K like there's supposed to still operating at Knox, Indiana, and then, like the head of the Aryan Brotherhood, lives in Warsaw, Indiana, So we didn't know when I was like looking at the map and the role we were taking. I didn't particularly picked these places, but yeah, I was extremely rough being called the n word every Five blocks people through boots at us people threw food at us. The police were black and golf, gas stations and Indiana so that we couldn't get gas at them. Telling gas stations and businesses to close could say We were there to burn him down. The women can use the bathroom. We had someone brought us a portable toilet. So Indiana was like 100 degrees for two days. We are these like 30 Miles stretches where there was only one gas station and we weren't allowed to use it. And we're walking like 12 hours a day at that point, so we had to deal with racism, and we had to deal with the heat. And then we had to deal with the police actually spreading the rumors that we were doing these things and plus they were also telling us we can't go down the street or industry and we were. We would always go down whatever street we needed to go down. I would always tell him like no matter what You're not going to stop us from walking and actually established from from from getting the D. C.
