"For them is that one tie if the Eagles went out here today, and then, of course, they will close out their season at home against Washington. It would be the Eagles, who, by virtue of that record with that tie will proceed as the division winners. Of course, One of the big keys here today is going to be the rush defense. Neither Of these teams have particular good rush. Defense of the Cowboys are near the basement off the league, so they will have to put the clamps on Mr Jalen hurts. And Miles Sanders. "Today that I actually thought of you not because it was metal death or anything like that. I don't have actually don't have any of that on my on my Spotify. But the band Perry came on at some point. I must have put that in. Yeah, it was like, I don't know it didn't fit with what I was listening to write restraint, especially the stuff that you like again not listening to metal death. That's not what it isthe. Well, the band Perry did have a hit cold. If I die young, that was that was a song. I don't mind the song. It's just in such it into what I was listening to. Yeah, but I mean, that's just Jerry Revco on brand right there, Fi die young and forgotten about like a grain of sand or a dead cat in the street that gets it by a car gets hit by a car. Listen, life lessons, youngster. My flesh is alright. Cee Lo is back with his update with Mr Lance Tower. So let's get to him. Now. What's going on? Chris? Alright Tom Seaver not only one of the great pitchers of all Time Hall of Famer the whole nine yards, really The face of the Mets, obviously in their early days, establishing them as a legit franchise, of course, solidified by the 1969 World Series Championship. The history their foundation, and that's what That's what the 69 team did was. Give this. Franchise. A legitimate foundation to continue to build on a receiver with Joe and Evan back in August of 2009 passed away Monday at the age of 75. Knew he hadn't been doing well the last few years, but still sad news for baseball, the Mets and the fan base. Certainly, for a guy like Gary Cohn is well, who was nine years old when Seaver joined the Mets grew up watching him and later, of course, got to work alongside him in the broadcast booth. He was a good person. He was a tough person. I was fortunate enough to get to know Tom when he was working as a broadcaster for the Mets, and that was one of the great joys of my life. To be able to meet and get to know one of my heroes. It's carry on us. And why last night as part of their live reaction coverage, five time 20 game winner the 1967 and a rookie of the Year 311 career victory. 61 shut outs and a long career that lasted from 1967 to 1986. Back with the Mets in 83 in his return, seven shutout innings in a win over the Phillies at the age of 38 from Fred and Jeff Wilpon's team issued statement quote he was simply the greatest Mets player of all time. And among the best to ever play the game, and I did just catch a clip on Twitter of him facing Tony Perez in Game one of the 1973 NLCS show, the difference of where we're at now in baseball, three pitches in 30 seconds morning, Good afternoon and good night. That's what I was telling GI before watching that world that no hitter It's an at bat takes no time. The battery doesn't go anywhere and he gets the ball back, gets the sign and throws. That's it very simply difference. And then I saw this quotas. Well, he was asked about pitch counts back in the day, and if they existed, quote all we had pitch counts. I told Gil isn't Hodges to keep an eye on me. Once I got around 1 35. I could get a little tired right now, and that's what I was kind of hoping for with the no hitter, But then again, it's a no hitter, see figure that the pitch count is down. 1 12. Okay, fine. I was hoping it was going to be in the one thirties, one forties and not be a big deal, And I'm sure he threw many games that were in the 1, 31, 40 and 1. 50 is a lot of these guys probably did a different error for sure. Now the current Mets, fittingly played the team. It's Seaver. 69. Mets beat the world Siri's the Orioles, and they beat him down to Camden Yards yesterday, 9 to 4, snapping a five game skid. Michael Conforto four for five double homer five R B ice. He's having an excellent season hit in the left hander's now, too, says he's done a lot of work on his approach at the plate, smarter swings, get my pension and not trying to do too much with it. Sometimes I'll go up there and I'll take my shot, too. No. Take it of all hard and then a video goes into battle mode, where you just tryingto do something productive for the team That's refreshing to hear Be nice of some of the Yankees adopted a similar approach, especially with two strikes haven't mentioned David Peterson. Yet this morning. He worked out of the bullpen yesterday, four innings of two hit shutout ball in relief of starter Michael Wacha. The message that I said in summer camp when you guys asked me was I was ready to contribute in any level andan any position that the teams Is asking me for that. That's that's the line that I took in today. Yeah, that shoulder discomfort. So for now, they used him in a shorter stent. That's not locked in stone, though. According to Louise Ross moving forward with him, you know, way want keeping stretch out and he's got the auction. Lower the probability that he might start. You know the next time around today, it's Robert Castleman against J happens. The Mets and Yankees play their makeup game at Citi Field. We've got pre game coverage on the fan. At 3 30. "The end of the day, a rear day in Met land. Good morning, Gomorrah size And how are you, sir? Good morning, Jerry. It's great to talk to you. Ah, Maybe you owe me an apology. I invited you out for drinks last night. You were unable to make it. I was in your neck of the woods. Yeah. Middletown, New Jersey Had Why do I owe you an apology? I know, but it was. You know those thunderstorms out everything. You kept those kids out in the field, and there was no thunderstorms. No, there's no rain. Nothing happened when I was driving back from Middletown yesterday as I played, got down and Colts neck And I had a great dinner right now. Right in the center of Middletown, right there. Actually, Governor Murphy was act the restaurant the night before. It was just nice to be out in a restaurant with a couple buddies having a nice meal sitting down and I figured you know what? Let me reach out the Jerry Revco because the owner of this restaurant Said that Jerry Revco lives right down the road about that. I'm like Ben. Did he know the the owner knows that Nicholas knows his celebrities and knew that he had a celebrity in his mitts and Jerry Riko and I said, Well, I didn't realize you live that close because I don't really know much about Jersey. All I know is the Garden State Parkway or the New Jersey Turnpike. And the Great Parkway has like 1000 exits on it, and you got to slow down. In the local cider the Express side. If you're in the express side, you measure here is the exit right? And then and then trying to get from the due process Golf course that I played yesterday, which I love by the way trying to get from that to the restaurant. You got jug handles and everything else. You have totally confused all over the place. But I'm happy to report that. Me and Danel basically took 300 bucks. From both dug Wells and Vinny scorer. Aunty No good for you. Yes, and we We basically bounce back from last year's embarrassing loss to those two meatheads and we took the money from them. And I made them by dinner last night at Rooster Barrel and I invited you over there, and I wanted you to come over and have a cocktail with us and I would have loved it down and you could've signed some autographs for the owner. He loves you. Now had you? I don't know. Ask me a couple hours prior. I get the text that 6 42. Yeah, I didn't realize that you live that close. That's what I'm telling you, the guy. So Nicholas comes up and he says, you know, you know, Jerry record lives right down the road, all excited about it. And I was like, Well, you don't let me reach out to Jerry in town. I'll have him come over. Have a cocktail with the boys, you know, because this is what boys do after they played off. And I have to tell you, by the way, that Rooster barrel restaurant Yeah. Awesome. Great. Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. I would've liked to have gone good luck invited prior. Good luck Getting a table in their eye area there practicing social distancing. So all the New Jersey social distancing police could take a chill pill and relax for five seconds. Right? I felt very safe in there. Although there was one guy in there sneeze and he must have had, like 10 sneezes. I mean, big, heavy duty sneezes. Yes, but he was by the window so And he was using his napkin. So Yeah, maybe he has allergies or something. I'm not really sure. But other than that, it was a terrific place. I don't think you'll be able to get in there for a while, simply because you know they are social distancing, so they have limited seating. Right. But I am here to tell you that that food is top notch so rooster barrel down there. Middletown treated me really well last night. Unfortunately, you weren't able to come And you know, I checked out yesterday. I was so exhausted after yesterday's show, talking about what's going on in the world of Sports and the emotions of Dom Smith and what's going on with Jacob Blake and what happened up in Kenosha, Wisconsin. What's happened in Minneapolis? What's happening in Portland? What's happening in Seattle? I'm just what's happening here in our own city. You know, it's just it's it's exhausting. It's just exhausting talking about it. And then Of course, you have some teams in Major League Baseball decide not to play. Other teams decide to play. The NHL pauses for two days. The N B A is going to pause for two days and turns out that Michael Jordan. Is was the conduit between the N ba Board of governors and owners on Chris Paul in the Players Association. So good thing Michael Jordan got involved and was able to understand the players plight. Hey, also spoke on behalf of the owners. And Michael Jordan basically brought the MBA together and they're going to resume. It looks like on Saturday. The NHL will resume on Saturday. Any guys banged up, get a couple of days off. Hopefully, they'll be able to get back to where they were. Prior to this two day this two day pause and and hopefully we'll get back to a little bit of normal. But I think any time and I heard you are now talking about it this morning. Any time we have something that looks like what it looked like in Minneapolis in Kenosha. It's gonna spark just ah, major level of intensity. And when you see what happens not only to the victims in these cases also, the collateral damage that comes along with it is just totally unacceptable in our society, and unfortunately You know, I don't I don't know how it's going to stop. I don't know if people are going to be able to sit down and have a conversation. Everybody keeps talking about these tough conversations. That includes every aspect of it that it's a 360 degree conversation, not a 180 degree conversation because there are a lot of problems all throughout, Ah lot of different neighborhoods and different backgrounds and different Situations and states and towns and cities all across this country that affect a lot of people. So hopefully somewhere along the line, we can all come together and we don't have to be so angry all the time, and we can get back to enjoying our sports over the weekend. Yeah, and you know, some of the games that were played yesterday were games and Siri's that Because the night before many others didn't they didn't play And there was a lot of confusion around what the Mets and Marlins were going to Dio yesterday. We saw as it turned out the 42 seconds of silence. They go out. They laid the shirt down. They walk off and they decide they're not going to play. So you're left with now? The subway series starting today as they I assume they're going to be back on the field. By everything I read. The Yankees and Mets will play today it was, you know, I know the Wilpons are on their way out and I get it and they're selling the team in August. 31st, as you have said a few times this week, a very big day in met land and for them as they will get their final bids from prospective owners. Yesterday. It was a bad bad day, though for them just because of the way you know the video was leaked the way it was out there for people to see on their website. I'm not sure who's to blame, but things like that can't get out. You know the hot mic from from Brody, who apparently had the story wrong. He's then got to come out and apologize. You get the sense he's not long for this job, which is not Anything new. You've discussed that as well, Especially with new ownership coming in, then the apologies from him. You get the apology from Fred. You get the apology from Jeff. Just they were. You know, it has been a bizarre year and yesterday in Met Land a bizarre, bizarre day and I watched a lot of it when I got back from, you know, from practice last night, I got caught the Brody Press conference. The one thing I'll say stood up and took accountability and accepted it and responsibility and then apologize. And I thought that was the end. And then we get the statements as well. So just a weird feeling around that team going into a subway series that both teams need, Boomer, You got five games here. And to talk about actual sports for a minute. You know, you've got a med team that that won the three in a row or they started to play good baseball. Then they were flat. Then you get the diagram game. I don't know what I really don't know what they are, and I gotta be honest with you..

"Cee Lo with his final update of the morning for us. Happening right now. It's a Chris all right, one more time. The Yankees as usual, but a problem for them in recent years, unable to solve the Rays down a Tropicana Field fires, the 11 And the pitch is line basic right Field ball game over Tampa wins. So Michael Perez a little Don't lefty hitting catcher, wins two of the three games. John Sterling with final Call Shit fan in already, It's better than the Yankee catcher. Um, no arguments here, Boomer. I feel like I keep beating up on the guy and people yell at me on Twitter. So I want to keep doing that. So what are we? What are we gonna do about this guy? The Sanchez defenders are really, really steadfast in there. In their praise of him and like I get it, because he's a special player. When he gets on a roll, he gets on a roll. But it's like recognize, at least for once. If you wanted the Sanchez defenders that that he's got some flaws and is gaining crying out loud, God signings employer. Yeah, of course. Now I will say I said this down on the warm up this morning cause we're talking about. He asked me about the wild pitch. Zach Britton threw in the ninth and I said, I don't know that I thought that I expected him to block it. But could we at least make the effort of going down to try and block accepted? Just trying to pick it with your glove? That being said. There was a pitch A couple pitches later, a slider where it looked like they were crossed up, and Britain basically threw in the variety batter's box, and Sanchez was able to keep that one in front of him. So I do give him credit for that, so he can do it. He can do it. And that wasn't even a block because he but he was clearly if he reached to his left almost like a goalie reached now for a glove save, and as soon as he caught it looked out of Britain. And made the sign of like, Hey, you know, pay attention. So seemed like they weren't on the same page Hammond as you, Chris, because I noticed something about and you do this a lot, and it's fine. It's it's there's no problem with it. Did you go to the Jerry Revco's School of Broadcasting? I did not. Why do you continually mentioned the podcast that you're doing with our thing that Al requires you and Jerry Old to do. No, AL doesn't require it, but I feel when I'm in for Jerry. I should keep up. Some of the same promotional type comments will make about the warm up while he's not here because that is their hour, and I want to make sure that it gets proper promotion. That's all. I just I was just wondering if that's something that he taught at the snow. No one has taught me Dairy now have not said anything to me about doing it. That's just my own looking, you know, put it out there for the guys and be a team player. Right. Very good. Now. Al has. Ah, Chernoff sent you the ratings for the warm up show. And does he do it in his Chernoff way like you guys in number one, but it should be better. No, he hasn't sent me the actual ratings. He sends me meter counts, Which means I don't know what they mean. But I feel like I'm too far along to say, I don't know what they mean at this point What you just did. Yeah, they are confusing and sometimes a train's late into good things. Sometimes they don't. It's very hard. It doesn't really mean much. The meter counts. Is that the numbers that mean something, but he mean it's thea other day, you know you got you guys finish first for July, but it he should've beat the other people buy more. It was like You were first, but I've never seen such a low first place number that I just I just commented back saying first, his first shut your piehole, right? Exactly. And then, like our direct sports competition was like 110th. So like, what are you worried about? Like Jesus, man, Never satisfied. Right. And that was before sports started, by the way, too, on top of that, right? Yankees Blow three Nothing. Li they lose for 23 James Paxton served up back to back homers in the seventh after dominating through 61 hit allowed 11 strikeouts, but it came apart in inning later still Encouraging outing, says Aaron Boone. I just thought he was really a sharp really on attack. Just had that aggressive mindset we saw from Pax most of last season, and this is a huge stepping stone for him. Maybe it is maybe his back starting to feel good again. That's the thing that's you know, hope so anytime you come back from an injury, no matter what it is to let it loose is almost impossible. You just gotta keep going, keep grinding through and then eventually you won't even think about it anymore, And hopefully that was the case for him yesterday. The velocity was a little bit better. Still, not quite where it was a year ago, But obviously he was able to miss a lot more bats in this one until the seventh Yankee offense stranded nine afraid with runners in scoring position and could not take advantage of the Rays bullpen pressed into extra action when starter Charlie Morton departed in the second. With some shoulder discomforts raise. Take three out of four. Britain not able to keep them off the board in the ninth. He knows they're always a tough out to be expected Coast games against these guys, and honestly, a lot of that is deciding what bullpen is going to be sharper that day. Brett Gardner been around long enough to know the Rays always give them trouble. We'll always got a good team for one. I mean, they always they always plant stuff. I've been here a long time. And as long as I can remember, they've always plays tough, especially down here in the truck, and that's the case over the weekend again. Yanks fall the 10 and six They're off today back home for two with the Braves beginning on Tuesday night. Meantime, the Mets gave Jacob deGrom's some run support and the bullpen made it stand up for a change. Here's the 21 swing and a grounder passed them out out to show what Rosario has got It steps on second throws to first put it the box. They get the game ending double play. The Mets have won the ball game and have taken two out of three from the Miami Marlins. Here. It's Citifield Howie Rose, WCBS 80 Jared Hughes, Delon Betances, Edwin Diaz and then set Luego in the ninth. Getting it done out of the pen. After the Graham gave them five innings. He did give up a two run homer in the fifth, but the Mets win the game for two to here's Louise RoHaas on his improving bullpen. The stuff is there. This guy's got unbelievable stuff if they attack batters, I mean, they're going to be able to either induced contacts get get out. You know a minimal minimum pitches or be able to put guys away because you have guys that can strike out batters is well back to the Grammy labored through the second inning pitch count was getting up there had the visit from the trainer. Dealing with a bit of an issue on his middle finger, he explains. There's a little hot spot. I guess you could refer to it as it's not. It's starting to get a blister. But, um, you know, probably file it off and hope it's better for the next one. Certainly it's a tough guy, right? There has been a life goal. You should have been a hockey player. That's what occupiers do. Just just shave it off. Let's go. No problem, baby right off of there. Couple of Barbie eyes for Jeff McNeil, JD Davis hitting streak up to 13 games in the rookie Andres Jimenez continues to impress three for four. "Up and that and that's the problem. And then the Mets put out the the PR missive. And And then all of a sudden the media starts ripping apart the PR mess of and it makes the Met sound ridiculous when in actuality Mets really did nothing. Here. They did nothing. It's this is all about the player and then the post game press conference or what ifs and the hypotheticals and they want Brody to answer them. You know, if I would Brody, I just would have said Look, man, we're trying to find him. We couldn't find him and that was it. We told you we couldn't find him. He's not here. He's not in uniform, and you guys would have been asking us a 1,000,000 questions during the game about where is he? Where is he? Where is he? Where is he? And what all Jae Hee's not here and we don't know where he is. Right exactly if they hadn't put out a statement, and I do believe Brody when he said they were trying to be fully transparent because he felt like he needed to get that out there because you're the Mets have been crushed in the past from trying to hide things or you're not being fully. Truthful with maybe injuries and stuff like that. So Brody just said Fine. Tell him what's going on. Put out the statement. We can't find him and all this is true. But instead everybody has to run around in the soup. That he's dead, which I get because he's your assessment Is anything the death? I was deceived? You looked at it. I mean, well, I I know Al thought dead right away. And then there's also a lot of you know, I just hope he's okay Thoughts and prayers for the cess pit. His family. I mean, that's everybody just kicked that crap into high gear. How dare you make a joke about it till we know he's okay? You know what? Jerry Revco because he put a joke out about the phones and then I was tagged. And then I stayed mostly away from Twitter during a vacation. But then yesterday Ah, Jerry tags me in this tweet about If you wanna suspect didn't have an iPhone. Maybe they'd be able to contact them. So then, you know, you see these responses, people saying, Well, how could you joke about this? You don't know if he's okay. Well, I got news for you. If Jerry's tweet if he wasn't okay, wasn't going to save him or kill him. So just relax, Will you? Everybody's just got everything. I mean, it's it's insanity. No staying away from Twitter for, like a week and then coming back to it. You realize how crazy it really like. You know, it's crazy when you're looking at it every day, But you take some time off and you come back like man. These people are just the worst. Make everybody on here. Socks. But Monty is now in control of the board. Uh, give me quote number. Let's see here. According to 12 Eddie quote, Number 12 Here is the quote. "I've got three Jerry records, which is a lot better than zero. Jerry Revco's good morning, Jerry Revco. Our You know, I gotta be honest. I got to be honest, I got to be honest. It's been much It's a bit much. That's a bit much. I see it too. It's funny, so no, no, no, don't apologize. Yesterday was freaking me out. I've gotten used to this seeing everybody thing and seeing them live and knowing when they were going to talk, and then you were gone. Then al was gone like there has been this unspoken communication that I've had without. I don't know if he feels it in the way that I feel it, but any time he wants to say something, or there's things that he doesn't like, or whatever he is, facial expressions have told me a story throughout this quarantine, and I could see him better through the zoom than I could ever see him through the glass at work because there was always a glare and the big lights are in our favor. Cameras are in the way. Yeah, I could never really see him. So like there's a lot of times where I could see his bold head, nodding and I could see him, like sort of lean close because he wanted to say something. And then he disappeared yesterday and I was like, this is just this is early quarantine stuff right here. Can't see anybody. I don't know what the hell's going on. Boomer's not here. This is not good. But today we've got three Jerrys Al's back and see low is still in his study, which is great. Not bad. I can see. We got six shots were ready to go. I can I can see, um, is also the camera too, because sometimes he wouldn't have the the microphone towards his mouth. So as soon as he does that, you know he's ready to speak out. Do you have something? What are you talking about? The old Yeah, the old unspoken communication. Exactly. Right. I miss that. Yesterday S O more Mets ownership news. That is probably not going to make a lot of Mets fans happy because you've got now adding to the J. Lo and a Rod group Ah, bunch of other named athletes like celebrity athletes that are going to be joining this group now. It's sort of fun to a degree, because you've got these big name people that are involved, and it makes the Mets feel glitzy and glamorous, Rian all those things that That they have lacked, I suppose, over the last number of years, but now it's gotten to the point where it's just to me. For me. It's too much because now it feels like the Miami Dolphins when everybody who ever lived in Miami who was a celebrity owned a piece of that team. And I don't think that they're going to end up winning this bid. But when I hear that Jeff Wilpon would prefer that the Mets get sold to a J. Lo and a Rod. Then I start to get worried. Because now it's also Travis, Kelsey, Bradley Beal, Joe Thomas. There's other people in there, too. I can't even remember half of Brian Urlacher. That's right. So Brian Urlacher is one of the nicest guys in the world of the greatest linebackers I've ever seen. When I was growing up watching football, I couldn't stand the guy because he was so damn good against the Minnesota Vikings. He did every game He played against the Vikings, 15 tackles, two sacks, a pick and a formal recovery. But this guy's now going to own a piece of the Mets. I wanted to be Steve going. The Wilpons don't want it to be Steve Cohen. And now you got this giant. You were talking about celebrity family feud yesterday. That's sort of what this group is like. It's like a celebrity family feud that's trying to buy. The New York Mets. I hope it doesn't happen to me. It doesn't matter. It really doesn't matter is at the end of the day of a rot in jail or the owners of the team or the face of the team. It's fine. I as I said, the AL before and he's he's on your side. He believes the same thing. He thinks his goofy there people with money. That's all it is. If their names were Bill Williams, John Smith, you know Jason Jackson and they were just billionaire people or just guys that are $100 million. We wouldn't care. A lot of these groups are multiple layers of different rich investors, so that it doesn't the fact that they're going to people They probably know that have deep pockets. It's fine. I don't expect DeMarco Murray Toe have, you know a sweet making calls at the trade deadline. I understand your point. But at the end of the day, the Miami Dolphins are run by Stephen Ross. And yes, there are a lot of celebrity investors, but there's no so who's running the man's out of all these who's running. The Mets are all these people. I would think a rod is I would. I would think a Rod is the the baseball man that's going to be front and center off this team. Okay with that, but that's what I would expect. But he will have nowhere near the most amount of money invested in the team. I don't I don't know how much they're putting in. I mean, you've got other people that are going to be, you know, maybe the larger investors of the team, But I think part of like, like, what is Derek Jeter have been bested in the Marlins. We'll know not a lot. I mean, he's basically he's running it, but it sounds like It does seem like you can't though I think be a rod Expect to run this team and then have to people who are Investing in Ra Poli and Vincent Viola. Ah, lot Mohr than you. Now I know whatever happened in Miami. I really don't know the power structure but there, but they've been a disaster there on. I know that they're trying to rebuild, but it's been a flat out disaster business and on the field and Derek cheater, as admitted as much I said, Yeah, you know it. No fans has been great, You know, and we close ballgames. Tremendous. It's been awesome down here is, he said that facetiously. In an interview, not that long ago. So to me, it's like that that that type of structure and even if we didn't know the names of the players that were involved, that type of structure always scares me because you have to have so many people who always get what they want on the same page, and that to me can lead to AA lot of indecision and wrong decisions and infighting and stuff that you just don't want. That's one thing you could say about the Wilpons for the last number of years after they had no double day was bought out. Is that they at least agreed on everything. You never worry about that we think. Well, yeah, I mean him and his dad and soul cats. It seemed like they never heard about how one guy wanted one thing. Another guy wanted another that never really came out. But when you've got the potential of 15 different people, especially that are celebrities that people want to see and people are going to root against this now, and that's not what I want to see. People are gonna love the fact that a Rod and Travis Kelsey got into an argument over this or J. Lo but can't stand Vincent Viola mess, but I don't think that's going to be the case. I really don't. I think you know it depends on the team philosophy. The whole situation in Miami is different because they've got zero fan base and they've got no money to spend on free agents and so on. Derek cheater goes in there. To take over. He sees one path now they had good players, and they could have been a good team, but they didn't have the finances to pay them. And so he decided to tear it down and start ground up, which is a really, really tough task and undertaking. Now, I don't think we'll be able to judge what Jeter has done in Miami. Really for another three years to be honest, maybe two, but I think it takes time what he's trying to do, and I do believe there are baseball experts. I'd have looked at what that farm system has become, and believe that they will be really good in the future. What they do with that success and talent is another issue, and it comes down to finances. When you're in New York here, it's not going to be a stripped down and rebuild its going to be a team of investors that are gonna have to come in and spend money. I do believe that. I think a Rod knows that I think He's been here He's played for the For the Yankees. He understands the market. I would like to think and re Poli who?.

You left out the part where I put a massive hole in the wall that had to be repaired. That was a different running into the wall. That was a different running into the law. I didn't I don't remember doing it The one time the massive hole you put in the wall was when we were racing. Yeah. Hallway, OK, I remember. Yes. That was here. Right here in Hudson Street. Yeah. Do you remember the other one? Now that you mention it? The mark was not pleased with how he was nice. I'm really surprised that it wasn't the repair was not taken out of my paycheck. Yes. I think that's only because I was Boomer and Craig basically said You must do this sounds really choice. Remember they were pitching in the newsroom one's towards Mark's office. Plumbers don't Ah, hardball to Craig. And it was at Mark's office that he called, But he kept saying, if you miss my office, you got a window right out to the street. Anyway. Oh, yeah, But you, ma'am, you gets so bad, and I think if I sat through it, I would cry if I shut it off because it's just fast forward in five years I was going to the dogs in this county. You're a rescue dog on or so it's going to touch you. But even way before that, I would always think like, I can't imagine somebody beating up a dog. Right? That's so bizarre. I know I have to. I have to turn it off because you leave it on your right. You're going to pick up 15 15 likea Pomeranians my bed of my truck and bring them home. Save him. You know what? We used to call those crowd police that the party's only fire off some bottle rockets in the crowd, You know, fire everybody up on Then I got to say jail. You had basically on the boat coming in listening to the music A. I'm a nostalgic guy. But You know you had me thinking Jack Handy from Saturday Night. Live band a crime, No doubt about it, but it takes an even bigger Manto laughed at the man crime. So I tried to figure out your wife, Gina. She was probably looking over like God's sakes. That kiss you gave me a smile. But really, she was thinking Are you kidding me? You know she does. I think she actually did say, Are you kidding me? Go Mets go! Giants! Go! Rangers! Go! The Knicks are back, baby. Go for it. You know, I was just thinking about so Gina's looking at you crying to God bless America, which is great. I love that. And I wonder she harken back to the time that you got rickets in the bed hotel. Think this is the loser that I married? I have procreated with. Not only did he lock off some GNC supplement that settle the blood to his Between the also is now crying God blessed area. You think they get me home? I'm hungry. Loser. I think what I think about the short time that we work together. You and Carl and we're gonna fight. Yeah, I was. What was that over again? All right. I'll tell you quick now by the by deescalated that situation like a pro, By the way, you know, they teach like the people who are someone's about to jump off a bridge de escalate the situation. That's what I did. I did not yell back at him. I tryto I told my uber driver I've got to stop the hold on. Don't go anywhere, All right. This is how it unfold. So at the visual is actually 45. Hudson. Visual is pretty funny, too, because so I wrote that blues song. Ah about I guess it was Always James Dolan. This order once it was James Dolan was upset with CNB and Maggie because Maggie destroy him, and I said it was like, Hey, J D was the name of the Blues song and one of the lines was on there, I said. They said it on CMB and nobody heard it anyway. Or something like that. So And I'm singing and playing a guitar. So I'm as I'm leaving 3 45 My car is parked right out right out in front and I'm loading this guitar. So this is the visual. It's funny. I'm putting the guitar into the back seat of my car like a like a clown. You know, like, I always think it's so sad when clowns have to pack up their stuff and leave and go home into their car, you know, like Polaroids. Balloons and fake flowers and stuff that go into the back of their Honda Civic. So look, It's always so sick with you. You know you so there. Ah, put the guitar back and then all I hear is So nobody listens to cmp, huh? Yeah, sure. I was like what? And I said, it was a joke. It's like that's not a joke. And then this is the thing that actually I had to hold back laughing in his face. He goes. I have what you make fun of me with the voice in your head all the time. But this cross the line. And I will each and I was like, All right, listen, we could talk about this. It's fine, and I think he called me something. I'll have to text them and ask him. I think it was either in a hole or ah, Mother, bleep er or something. It was it was. Oh, no, that's what it was was going after yourself. Go see? Yeah, I will take that joke and go after self. And Ah, And then we talked and talked and explain to him. That was just a joke. And look, I'm loading my guitar into my car like a like a court jester. It's just we gotta let it go. You guys would have been nose to nose. If you guys weren't so fat at the same time. Yeah, You're You're right about that. I was He was He uses his face was so red It was like the sun was hurling towards me. It was just like intense. I've never seen him that mad. I got it. I mean, it was a lot of pressure and stuff that was going on then. And I don't know. Just supported that We supported those guys. Yeah, of course. I mean, it was It was just a silly joke, and whatever. I mean, I don't know what to say anymore. So sick of defending myself this stuff it's like You know what I'm saying? Like a nice guy here. Say, all right, I make fun of you. You make fun of me. It's just that this is what happens. God, Everybody just is so fricking uptight. This is where we come from with this. Ah is what I always say. We were from the ball busting capital of the universe, and I'm just used to that. I'll say something bad about you say some bad about me. You forget about it, You laugh and you go about your business and start crying. The Ray Charles That's that's that's my life. All right. What are we doing here? We're going to a break. And then we've got Jerry Revco after that. Go out yourself. I didn't say one word when you made fun of my boy.

"That's the most he's done in a month. So just to be clear, Tim. At some point on Monday. There'll be some kind of announcement weather Durant will play or not play. You don't think that that will affect the outcome of the game. I mean, look, I think again, trying to make any assumptions like that is probably a little premature to try to look ahead and just decide how it's going to go, but I will say, I think that people are overestimating the amount that Kevin can do in the game matter, whether he plays or not like I've heard people say, well, maybe he'll be seventy five percent. I just can't I can't see how guy who has not played basketball in a month that maybe twenty minutes of activity today is going to come back and play thirty minutes tomorrow, even if he's just kind of jogging down and taking some jumpers like the fact, if he can get out there at all it, help them. It'll be an emotional boost. He can hit a couple of shots and health space, the floor ways of resins. Right. There's no you take you on us to Revco out of the lineup say, right? Like that helps okay positive. But I would be stunned if Kevin Durant, like the Kevin Durant. We've seen just shows up tomorrow in place, thirty minutes. I would be a like a miraculous feat at this point. That's what needs you more context. Kevin hasn't been able to do anything for a month, and it's worth reiterating over and over. So we're saying in a best case scenario in the part, the media cannot see the Kevin was out there, and they ran some kind of three on three or five on five let's say played three on three for twenty minutes hard for for twenty minutes. So that means that he's walking into game five of the finals, and that is the only thing that he has been able to do in four plus weeks. And now, people are assuming because Kevin's on the floor. He is just gonna turn on the switch and be Kevin Durant. Like he's been all along. We don't know as we sit here and tape this, if he's gonna play as I watched the events unfold. I walked out of that arena. When Steve Kerr said he's gonna practice. We feel like if he comes through it, he's going to give it a go. I thought all right. Maybe he's going to try and he still might but is I walked out of the arena, guys. I thought I don't think he's playing in game five because you can't go from nothing nothing nothing to maybe twenty minutes to go get him. It's also not fair to him at some point, right? I mean Kevin Durant loves to play basketball he's clearly gonna play. He can possibly play. But at some point, you look at the situation, you're going into, and like, is it really fair to a guy who hasn't played in five weeks? The throw him out there in this huge situation elimination game on the road against arguably the best player in the world who would be guarding him. Right. "Using the hospital had an eye injury sitting on a gurney. You remember the album cover of we can't be stopped. Expectant net from James harden. But no, I didn't get it per usual. And never get what I want. I wanted to become Bushwick Bill in the hospital style. What did I get bloodshot eyes and blinky give? All right, thanks. What about men can? I be stupid and serious at the same time. God more stupid than serious though. But yes, the stupid one was after the rockets medical people out too hard. And when he was laying there they went to Dan, Tony. He's really hurt this time, you know. He is injured because with the rockets, they don't always know when he goes down. But I really credit James harden for coming back playing his eyes looked you know, he had the one real bad scratch, and and clearly got raked in advertently. But still mean that's both eyes and his bloodshot as they were to come back and stop the flailing around. I mean, he had some beautiful drives. He hit a couple of killer. Threes, I was like, you know, what hardens apiece man, he, you know, there's there he he gets up in his own goofiness with some of the the gamesmanship, but the level of talent is quite significant and that was on display. So I credit him for that for a level of warriors talents quite significant in the level of attention in terms of defensive schemes as a team or handling your individual assignment the first two games of the series. Excellent. During the face off three. A row if you go back to game six of the first round series against the clippers when the warriors are engaged defensively. You are not going to beat them. They have not killed the rockets by any stretch of demand from behind the three point line. They got enough last night. And clay was the big guy. Obviously they got enough last night eleven threes compared to the seven the warriors made in engaging one. What is one them? These two games from start to finish is handling your business defensively and the rocket-propelled the warriors last night, we're turning the ball over. But those turnovers had something to do with the warriors ability to play defense and determine the ball over against the warriors. They go kill you in the open court rockets given up twenty four points on the eighteen turnovers that that they had not to mention the defensive rebound offensive, rebounding. But the rebounding numbers overall when the warriors are engaged we know this when they're engaged defensively. They can't be stopped. Well, what was interesting was. There are times where think of game one same phenomenal level of engagement defensively. If they would have the same game one twenty turnovers last night, they lose. So was they kept the defensive intensity and focus, but then cut down on a really dumb turnover say they had a couple, but not when you get to twelve that's that's actually just fine and some of those turnover created by the rockets rockets had pretty good d- they in their own, right? So I'd just like that. Okay. When they say twenty turnovers in half of them were goofy will cut that down. They absolutely did from game one to game two. And then the Crash Test Dummies Jonas to Revco and I'll fonds McKinney flying in for rebounds over them. And when you get ninety one shots up to another team seventy seven. Yeah. That that's the game. That's game number possessions in how many wax she get at it? But I love to Revco. I mean think about this like all of a sudden Steph has dislocated finger Jonas. He hadn't played really in the playoffs. Essentially at all. Steve goes, okay, jump right in and trip. Awesome. Like, just totally ready ready to jump in play d get to the glass like go, man. But that's those are pros pros right there. Like that was really exciting that he was just okay, we call my name. You know, I'm in and to go taking anything away from what drip coded did and McKinney as well. But the easiest way to put your positive imprint on the game is to go into to grab some boards. No defense. So Jack in the ball up. I don't go out there and start, you know, I I gotta get mine or the team to score. No. The easiest way listen up kids the easiest way for you. As a non-starter to come off the bench in a limited amount of time. And make something happen is to go out there and crash the gr glass, like a crazy person. Yes. The easy not the easiest thing in the world to do. But that's the easiest thing to do. If you want to stay on the floor. Possibly get more minutes and out what you say that that is a professional point of view their pros, PROST Repco and McKinney. I'm not surprised that they did what they did. Last thing. Go get some rebounds. Everybody we have to tell the kids. Now, look a lot of people be pushing you towards CBD's. We watched it to be C T these Crash Test Dummies like just play with a reckless of CBD going to be on the couch. Watching a lot of Netflix. C C TD, you're playing hard grabbing board you're playing defense and stuff. And I just want to point out that you hear it fits in Brooks. Amalgamated industries are our by default resident cannabis expert. That's right. And the don't get high known supplies since. I've never tried weed. I'm perfect for that. Like, I've just into the money making aspect of it. I hope y'all get addicted and faith and all that stuff. And I'll just make a lot of cash off you. So that's that's that's sort of Michael you sound like the CEO of a cigarette company back in nineteen fifty stuff myself. I just want everybody to get hooked on it. So I can line my pockets. Got to put these kids for college. Somehow, man. Hey, these private institutions. In full on time it thousand nineteen this is where parents it fits Brooks university are struggling you always knew about tuition, it's the bribery. You never set aside money for you know, I mean when you're saving your kids like five six years old, and you set up a five twenty nine account, you don't budget for the bribing rod like that's the like what I gotta give you how much to get my kid in like nobody's ready for that. So you know, that's the and also the googling in inventing of various varsity sports that don't exist at different schools. That's another part of it. Outside the box. Yeah. I mean, don't you have rhythmic swimming or something like he just started combining things to see. Underwater gymnastics, whatever he that's like for your, you know, a hot tub ING, stretching or something. I mean, this this is all one of those deals where you're just trying to find some loophole for your kids athletic ability, Mercifully last night, the officiating was not an issue. They were great. They were absolutely great. The fouls were even basically twenty five free throws for the rockets. Twenty four for the warriors. Both teams may twenty of of their free throws with the exception of the now rescinded double technicals from Ed Malloy, who again is like the father that has had enough of his children out of your own, buddy. Go to your room before pull out the Bill other than Malloy. Fit. Now efficient was absolutely on point. Will it stay that way for the rest of the series? It depends on what shape the rockets are in and with them being down. Oh, two and heading to Houston for two and they definitely got to get one. If they want to try to keep this thing going. I wouldn't be surprised if the officiating and so much shape or form becomes an issue a talking point again, but no surprise a top level crew led by Scott foster last night officiating to simply not an issue. And I think the players dream on said this and we'll play it his sound coming up here in just a bit. I like the way the warriors. We talked about this yesterday yesterday show the warriors adjusted how they were doing things defensively close it out on shooter still doing it aggressively. But not doing it straight on doing it off the side. So you only had one kickout foul or whatever you wanna call it and it was correctly. And it was it was absolute. Correctly called and the players themselves acted like professionals. Yeah. Thank you. I gotta ask you as a dad. Do you do the Malloy I'm not gonna do to Kate this disturbance among my son's, I'm sending both to your room or do you do what a real dad would do take in the evidence and ding the one kid that's at fault? I ain't got time for this separate really ends of the house one. You stay inside. When you go outside. I don't have time for this. All right. Get out beat it. I'm I'm.

"Ten minutes in chevelle, even zodda those guys equa dollar can well, he'd be healthy in the playoffs. Livingston is the guy said some major injuries his career. So he started out of the questions. So for me, I'm I'm talking about expecting this tune to be the one seed and expecting this team to go to the finals and this team being the favourite to win when they get to the finals. Some talking about taking them down a notch, a two and being a little bit more a little bit less invincible than they've been in the past is what I'm talking about. Damian Jones. Was there starting Senator up at night and played what? Twenty? Five, twenty six minutes numbers were good played pretty well. You know, did his job kevon looney came in off the bench played some minutes easily easily led the team in the box score plus minus easily doing his job. You got your Revco off the bench, but they'll probably pick up a couple of pieces here and there as the season goes along. And DeMarcus, when he comes back is he gonna be anywhere close to hundred percent at any point this season coming back from the achilles injury and really last year was the first year I thought we saw the boredom factor sort of set in a little bit for Golden State. They've just been so dominant in and set it in the past. The dominance isn't just about elite talent. Yes, they've had the best talent in the NBA for several years in a row, but they also have the team that pays the most attention to detail and executes on the finest details of the game. Better than anyone regardless of talent in thought last year, you just saw a little bit of boredom factor, sit in where maybe not, you know that same with such detail for forty eight minutes. Instead, you see it for thirty five thirty six minutes and then they turn it on. You saw that in game one. Guess Cleveland when they were gold, stay played sloppy, unfocused basketball, and Cleveland had the game bright in front of them. Of course, the infamous play with JR and all that stuff in as soon as that game with over time you saw Cleveland was done. So this questions for me this year is can they void the boredom factor? If I were Golden State, I try to get somebody in that top eight. A new player with some energy is some life, real hustle type of player who just changes the pace and changes to energy in the vibe of the game when they go into the game and they're probably gonna need one more player that five spot because they like. Having three guys go in, take the physicality take some of the abuse so that the other guys on the floor don't have to take that. So to me their quarter step or half step below where they've been in the past and but they could definitely address that as the season goes along. Yeah, I think Pat McCaw support into this team just because they don't have so much depth. If if Livingston goes down, Quinn cooks imported to this team because for example, step assist, I'm going to put Stephan Quinn cook. Quint couldn't go get twenty five points and almost any game. If you give him the shos up, do it. He didn't. He can score the basketball team defender. He is what have you, but just in terms of random Tuesday night game, but McCall's important to them. I agree. It's really interesting that they have three young centers that are gonna play until DeMarcus is back. But here's the biggest question I have..

Livingston DeMarcus Cleveland Golden State Quint Damian Jones kevon looney Senator NBA Revco Pat McCaw basketball McCall Stephan Quinn thirty five thirty six minutes forty eight minutes twenty six minutes hundred percent Ten minutes
