"Okay? Writing. Some cases. I guess it's okay. You know, there's it's not Huh? What happened at the capital has been called an insurrection. By people like Representive Cori Bush from Missouri. But the Democratic congresswoman Said over the weekend that inmates who write it in a ST Louis jail Inmates of the city Justice Center who broke windows started fires and tossed debris onto the sidewalk for hours on end before was finally brought to them with tear gas. Well, they were just expressing themselves. In her world to a cold her a riot. Is the language of the unheard. Well, you know what? There's some truth to that. What? What did what did the rioters on Capitol Hill? What was their message? Unheard message to anybody Get that No. No, they didn't. I didn't get that one at all. They didn't get the fact that maybe some of those some of those people, not all of them. Some of those people. Maybe we're representing some of the 75 million Americans who thought that the election didn't wasn't didn't just go the way you hoped it would go. It went well further south than that. But Cori Bush doesn't see anything. That equates the two in any way, shape or form. She said. I want to talk about constituents in the window, their lives and their rights must be protected. I agree everybody's lives and rights should be protected. She's sure seems to be concerned about Prisoners in jail and I really concerned about average Americans. She's getting criticized, thankfully for it, not by a lot of people on the left, though. 7 11 time for traffic.
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene removed from House committees
"News. Last night, House Republican leadership met for hours trying to decide what to do about controversial GOP congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene. In the end, the deeply divided house voted 230 to 1 99 to strip her of her committee seats over incendiary remarks she made before being elected in November. Before the vote, Congressman Greene spoke to her colleagues saying it all started after President Trump was elected. She certainly supported him. But she didn't like what she heard about Russian collusion. These things bothered me deeply. And I realized just watching CNN or Fox News. I may not find the truth. And so what I did is I Started looking up things on the Internet, asking questions like most people do everyday use Google And I stumbled across something and this is at the end of 2017 called Q it on Well, these posts were mainly about this Russian collusion, information. Ah, lot of it was some of what I would see on the news at night, and I got very interested in it. So I posted about it on Facebook or read about it. I talked about it. Ask questions about it, and then more information came from it. But you see, here's the problem throughout 2018. Because I was upset about things and didn't trust the government. Really? Because the people here weren't doing the things that I thought they should be doing for us. The things that I just told you I cared about And I want, you know, a lot of Americans don't trust our government, and that's sad. The problem with that is, though, is I was allowed to believe things that weren't true, and I would ask questions questions about them and talk about them. And that is absolutely what I regret. Because if it weren't for the face, book post and comments that I liked and 2018, I wouldn't be standing here today and you couldn't point a finger and accuse me of anything wrong. Because I've lived a very good life that I'm proud of. My family's proud of my husband's proud of my Children are proud of And that's what my district elected me for. So in 20 later in 2018. When I started finding Miss information lies things that were not true in these. Q and on post, I stopped believing it. After Congressman Greene spoke Majority leader Steny Hoyer reference the historic nature of this vote. It was pretty historic when you think about what they did last night, where 11 Republicans joined Democrats in voting to kick her off of those committees. I've had the great honor of serving this body for 40 years. And in that time I have never encountered a situation like the one before us. Now we remember has made such vile and hurtful statements engaged in harassment of colleagues. Expressed support. Political violence. To do nothing. Would be an abdication of our moral responsibility to our colleagues to the house to our values to the truth and to our country. I've heard some condemnation from across the aisle of the contents. Representative Green statements. Some have condemned the white supremacist an anti Semitic things, she said, and posted online, some of condemned the falsehood she shared about 9 11. And the horrific school shootings. But I've heard little from Republicans about the horrific statements made by their colleague making threats of violence against Democratic elected officials. And her threatening conduct towards represented Bush and others. Indeed, Mr Speaker, there seems to be much silence when it comes to her incitement of political violence. Short while ago Representive Green came to this Florida defender indefensible conduct. I heard no apology. She claimed that we are here today only because of something she wrote online before she ever ran for Congress. And if one's moral slate is wiped claim when one becomes a candidate for office Regardless, the conduct we are judging today continued to occur even after represented Green became a candidate and even after she was elected, there is no doubt that if somebody came to the Congress, and it said before they came to gun Congress Am for violent revolution against the government of the United States of America, that your party Would say That's not somebody we want to be associated with. That's not what she said. I do not assert that What should we do Less? Then you did for Steve King for far less toxic language. Let us not do nothing. Let us do the right thing. Majority Leader Steny Hoyer last night before that historic vote 6

"Of course, the house with a little bit of GOP support, voted to impeach President Trump For the second time. The total was 2 32 to 1 97 222. Democrats Unanimous Democrats support for impeachment 10 Republicans in favor 197 Republicans against, according to The New York Times, the House on Wednesday impeached President Trump for inciting a violence insurrection against the United States government that was the actual charge. Has 10, members of the President's party joined Democrats to charged with high crimes misdemeanors from unprecedented second time We convening under the threat of continued violence and the protection of thousands of National Guard troops. The House was determined to hold Trump to account just one week before he was to leave office. At issue was his role in encouraging a mob that attacked the capital one week ago, while Congress meant to affirm president selected Joe Biden's victory, forcing lawmakers to flee for their lives in a deadly rampage. The House adopted that single article of impeachment but into 32 to 1 and 97 to charge Trump of inciting violence against the government of the United States. The 10 Republicans who voted in favor of impeachment representives Liz Cheney of Wyoming, She's the number three in the House. Jamie Herrera, Bowler of Washington, John Cackle of New York, Adam Kinzinger, the Illinois Fred Upton of Michigan and New House of Washington, Peter Mayer of Michigan, Anthony Gonzalez of Ohio, David of Eladio. Of California and Tom Rights of its South Carolina. So the media, of course, are treating all of these Republicans with the strange new respect which all Republicans are treated any time left is happy with him. The minute that these Republicans vote for Republican proposals in the future or vote against Joe Biden's Joe Biden's proposals. Then, of course, they will revert right back into being deplorable, awful horrible people. And to understand why there was a lot of Republican opposition to these charges. You have to understand that underlying all of this underlying all this is serious doubt about motives. So on the left There is this attempt to suggest that if you're opposed to the impeachment anyway Then you are in favor of the capital riots. This was the idea that if you didn't support impeachment is because you were in league with the writers. Are you okay with the writers and not just if you didn't vote for impeachment in the house, but also if you're just a Republican, broadly speaking that this is something you are okay with it. You opposed impeachment, and Republicans could sense that And so the reaction is okay. Well, we're not going to give you a club with which to beat us. Democratic argument on impeachment goes something like this. President Trump didn't just insight, the violence President Trump's actions and the reaction to those actions was so foreseeable that from the moment he came down the escalator, any single person who has supported anything that Donald Trump did. Has done anybody who supported him in either 2016 or 2020, or both. All of those people should have known that this was going to be the logical culmination of his presidency was going to be people attempting to sack the capital and kill lawmakers. That was absolutely foreseeable from the get go. Know that mine, which has been trotted out about a million times since last week, that line what it really is attempting to do. It's not a referendum on Trump. It is not an indictment of Trump's character. It's an indictment of anybody who ever supported Trump ever. Which means 74 million Americans who voted for him this time, plus tens of millions of Americans who supported any of his policies. Many people who didn't vote in other words, if you don't vote for Joe Biden, if you don't mirror the democratic agenda, then this makes you a bad person. You are you're in league with the capital riders. You should have known that this was going to happen. And you turned a blind eye because you are just Horrible human being. Republicans consents that this is the camel's nose under the tent, as they say. The goal of impeachment. For many members of the left is not to get rid of Trump one day before he's gonna leave office anyway. So doesn't about getting rid of trump so much as it is about suggesting that everybody Anywhere who supported Trump was complicit in what happened during the capital rights and therefore the perspective of all of those people ought to be shelved that the perspective of all of those people broadly red. That is entwined with what happened. But the capital riots that the capital rights were basically a flashpoint, demonstrating how evil its ideology is, and the ideology needs to be extra painted and excise from American wife. This is why folks on the right have been looking at the reaction to the capital rights and saying, Yeah, the capital rights are evil and horrible. Also, I'm really, really upset and scared about what exactly is going on in the country. That right wingers, Generally speaking conservatives, generally speaking are now being targeted by social media. They're afraid of what comes next week. We don't believe that there is a single standard that is even that is even being attempted here. Folks on the left. Keep pointing at the writing you guys were engaging in. What about Is it because people on the right keep pointing to democratic behavior during the summer during the black lives matter and anti pariahs. People on the right and you know that's not what about is him? That's us grasping for some neutral standard that could be applied to both sides, and this applies to impeachment. Also, what is the actual standard under which Trump is actually being tried right under under which he was impeached? The actual standard, according to the Democratic charge was incitement to violence. The problem is for a lot of folks on the right. And I think anybody of sound mind you look at that incitement charge and you say OK, So what exactly is the incitement? Really, like, be very specific about what the incitement is. Is he using very passionate, colorful language Because the Supreme Court has found that that is not actually incitement, not only that people use that kind of language on a regular basis. We'll talk about that in just one second. But first, if you thought the lead up to 2016 was nuts, you ain't seen nothing. Yet. The best.

"Issue of the day is going to be, of course, what's going to happen later this week with the 25th amendment and with possible impeachment in or the censure, But the big issues that most working Americans care about are things like, what are they going to do with climate and jobs, middle class earnings and things of that character. And quite often, I've Ellen Steve Gorm, who's executive director of the Climate Science Coalition of America, speaker and author outside the Green Box. The Madman, Mad World, Etcetera and Steve Gorm. Welcome again to the Bill Cunningham Show and Steve, How are you? Well, happy New Year I'm doing well. Happy New Year. Happy Heart to all hell is breaking loose and the capital out of no censure. 25th amendment 26 2 27th. They're going to throw it all of the trumpster. But what happened in the election, I think is that there was a revulsion against some of the character traits of the president and his policies brought out about seven or eight million more voters who voted the last time thinking about jobs and thinking about the southern border and thinking about taxes, things that character but under the radar The Socialist Left wing. Democrats have planned something for the climate and also for the electrification of America and getting ready internal combustion engine, which is truly unbelievable, plus the fact that Tesla may at some point by one of the Big Three automakers, made by all three um so can you give us a review, basically as to what's happening with the appointees of President elect Joe Biden and what it means for working men and women. Yeah, I think it's gonna be a rough four years for people with common sense, and I'm afraid climate is, um, the belief that humans are causing dangerous global warming. Is likely to run wild in this country. We're probably going to see. The president declared a national emergency about the climate, which had given some powers to do a lot of different things. We may very well see a carbon tax, which is going to raise everybody's price of gas. We're going to see a lot of restrictions, especially at the state and local levels. Bands on natural gas appliances. Possibly bans on internal combustion engines. So you know the bottom line for US citizens. It's going to be higher energy prices and less choices. We're just gonna have to hang in there as best we can until people get back to some common sense. And I guess the fear is that this is happening and over the top of it is all about anti Trump get him out of office. Whatever is going on, but in reality, what's occurring? Is that below the scenery give us some of the names of the individuals well known to at least my audience here on Sunday night who are going to be in charge of energy in this country? We were energy independent. That's not going to be anywhere, possibly in the future. The cleanest sources of energy, our nuclear and natural gas, and that's what The liberals the socialist don't want and so give us the names of the people involved. So unfortunately, President Biden has been building a group of folks that are true. Green eyed believers here disappointed John Kerry, the presidential climate envoy's He calls them Somebody was supposed to help us rejoin the Paris climate accords. And start once again shipping billions of dollars into the Green climate fund to be redistribute to other nations, possibly China and India. Of President Trump had put a stop to hold to that practice. Serious famous in the past for claiming that climate change is a bigger problem than terrorism. Then we have Gina McCarthy, the White House climate czar. She's gonna handle domestic climate issues formerly head of the EPA, and I should get a look at the quote about her. Give me a minute on that. And then the third Big one is Jennifer Grand Home Michigan that by former governor Michigan biting, has nominated her for energy secretary. She has a real long track record that should frighten Americans. When she was governor, and in Michigan, she gave hundreds of millions of dollars to a whole bunch of companies that failed. 123 systems to build electric car batteries matter fact, she Want to see up to 40,000 new battery jobs by 2020. Well, it's we're past 2020, and they've got less than 5% of those jobs. Almost all those firms of Going bankrupt. And Michigan today has the highest electricity rates in the Midwest. 16 cents a kilowatt hour. You got the highlight about 12 and annoyed about 13. So look for her to come in, and Dole out hundreds of millions of dollars to all these firms. The venture, Kate Greene, Venture capitalists are salivating for all these start ups to do this. That and the other thing, and unfortunately, it's taxpayer money going to that. And unlikely to. Ah, have anything of a real impact, particularly on global temperatures. No question in what happened on the capital on Wednesday. It was awful. It was terrible. It was disgusting. And I particularly angry at those holding the American flag beating a cop. How about about a Capitol police officer being beaten by the American flag? As the right wing mob is yelling USA USA and today was the funeral of a brave police officer who died Someone crashed a fire extinguisher extinguisher into his head and killed him and I'm thinking we got seriously issues going on. Well, that's going on. Abide administration's put in putting together the most left wing administration possible. And right now, what are the chances of us being Steve Gorman Energy independent, in fact, exporting energy over the next 234 years, if, in fact by an implement these things many what she can do through executive order? Yeah, he can. That was one of the great things that Trump did. Actually, it started during the Obama administration when private companies learned how to perfect hydraulic fracturing of shale fields. And US became the leading producer, leaving world producer of Natural Gas in 2011 and then during the Trump administration of the leading oil producer in 2018. And our balance of payments in energy back in 2011. We were paying a We had a negative balance of payments and energy of $6360 billion a year and that has now gone all the way down to switching to positive. So are Trade balance would be a whole lot worse if it wasn't for the U. N the new U. S energy superpower. But a lot of people in a bite administration want to ban fracking and we get about 80% of our gas from fracking more than 50% of our oil, and we'll see what's going to happen. They're biting us waffled on that all whole bunch of different ways. But It's gonna be kind of Ah, bad situation. I'm afraid And none of this is good for working stiffs. Who? 11. Nevada, California, Texas, Florida, Ohio. This is not. This is not good, plus huge tax increases or coming. It's an incredible thing to watch. Important stuff's going on. But below the scenes is going to be a seizure. And it's seizing up the of the American economy long after Trump has left the political stage in about 10 days, we've got to get down to reality, which is how do we handle the economy? What do we do with covert? Has had a terrible cove. It's much worse. You're much better off in a red state with covert than a blue state will cova as because the economy is largely open. I just spent the last two weeks in southwest Florida. It's functioning not nearly as well as it should. But compare that to Michigan or Illinois, New Yorker, California completely different is because how you look at things Yeah, I know. It's just like that vaccine. My mask is going off. I'm gonna meet him at the door and show my certificate the heck with us wearing the mask stuff. Although I think this guy's gonna be a lot of people say you got to keep wearing a mask. You gotta get it surgically fixed your face. Hey, listen to this about Gina McCarthy Interesting thing back in 2013 when she was hasn't ahead of the EPA. She came to testify before the House representives, and she was questioned by Mike Pompeo, who is a recent secretary of state. And then posted on your website that was EPA website You have 26 indicators used for tracking climate change..

"We've been going into depth about the amount of voter fraud in our country. Reald documented mail and voting fraud so much that I don't have time to cover all of these specific Ones that we know of, and any one of us that understands the landscape of how things work in our country. We know That if you have 120 million people doing anything, you have to factor in negligence and fraud. So President Donald Trump this morning tweeted out quote the ballots are being returned to states cannot be accurately counted. Many things are already going wrong. Twitter, however, flagged this tweet and said, learn how male bite. Voting by mail is safe and secure. Despite the fact that we have gone to the list of U. S mail carriers were arrested and charged with attempted election fraud. The Office of Special Counsel Determine that the U. S. Postal Service broke federal law to boost workers in the Clinton campaign. They just found ballots in Pennsylvania, all of which voted for President Trump. We're all in the trash I could go on and on and on. So why is it That's some Silicon Valley dork. Has the power Tell you what is true and not true. About voting by mail. This goes to a deeper point that we have talked about quite often. With Dennis Prager. And with many others on the Charlie Kirk show as well. Which is The information flow in this country. The conduit for communication is far too concentrated. On a series of social media tech companies that have total and complete contempt for our value system and for our country, and so is President Trump rightly is pointing out that voting by mail has lots of questions around it. Twitter comes and is censoring and its fact checking him in real time. A deeper and much more important challenge for the conservative movement is how we're gonna handle these tech companies that worked a pseudo governments in our own country. I believe it's long past time to strip them of their section 2 30 immunity. And yes, even break up some of these companies for their behavior of meddling into our elections bragging about how much power that they wield, such as Google Post 2016, where they said they're never going to allow another populist revolt toe happen again in our country. And as we have evidence now in Minneapolis, thanks to James O'Keefe in Minnesota, which is a statistical tie on President Trump could win the state. In the transparency Integrity project of how our ballots are counted. It's critical. I can tell you right now that the Democrats and the left they're going to everything it possibly can to steal this election from us. We have evidence of this. As previously mentioned. Hennepin County prosecutors have just tried a 22 year old Minneapolis man with 13 felony accounts of voter fraud. Mail in ballots from South Carolina somehow ended up in Maryland and a few months ago as previously mentioned, the Department of Justice announced in elections judge in Pennsylvania admitted Two and pled guilty to accepting bribes to stuffed ballots. It is very obvious to us. That Democrats have cheated in the past. And they will shoot again. You see those of us that are from Chicago as I'm doing this from am 56 to the answer, And I'm proud to say that starting next Monday, you'll be able to hear me at one o'clock on Am 56 the answer and Salem radio stations across the country, the fullest. To be found on Charlie cook dot com Coming up a week from today. In 1960. Richard Nixon was running against John Fitzgerald Kennedy for the presidency. Was a very tight election. All came down to the state of Illinois, and it is well documented by independent historians that JFK with his father, Joseph P. Kennedy, stole the election with the help of Mayor Daley. This is well known. It's well documented. Our elections have had voter fraud in the past, and they will have voted for in the future. We're having voter fraud happening right now. Where the Democrats so reluctant tohave voter ID. Why are they almost obsessed with having vote by mail? Main reason, of course, is that the current system of how we count ballots and vote bothers them. You know the two states that have total vote by mail. Colorado and Oregon are now becoming the most liberal states in the entire country. You're listening to this in Portland or somewhere in Oregon. God bless you. But if you're not, you probably don't know that organ. If you show up somewhere on Election day, they do not have polling places. An organ. They have vote by mail. They bring. They send you a ballot. Every registered voter in Oregon. They'll send it to Iraq. They'll send it to a frog will send it to a dog. For many of us in states that have decent elections and practices. This stuns us and what has happened. Organised now probably the most liberal state in the country. Second, maybe only two California, New York. The fight for fair, free and honest elections. Is also the fight for our republic. Continue to dive into this. And for more information, guys. Charlie Kirk dot com Was Charlie Kirk.

"A They hate Iran. Bahrain. They Haiti run Saudi Arabia. They hate Iran. Well, so does Israel. Why can't we get all these folks together against Iran? And have some sort of peace between these folks and screw Iran. Well, that's exactly what he did. His interview came aboard the U. S Air Force jet transporting him in the U. S delegation after he met with the president of the Republic of Cyprus. Whom he visited after earlier in the day attending the opening intra Afghan peace talks. In. Ah Guitar. So is the jet touchdown late Friday night the previous evening. The deal being rolled out this week between Bahrain and Israel to normalize relations was announced. Previously the United Arab Emirates the U. A. E in Israel announced they were normalizing relations and then today, the White House representives both Bahrain and you'II be met with Trump. And Bebe Netanyahu as we just showed you there, and they signed this agreement. So They asked him about this, he says. It's a It's a great question. They're all connected, he told Breitbart News. Pompeo did as to connect the dots between the Afghan peace talks. And the other peace deals being rolled out now. He says the president Lee down a strategy for how to secure America from instability and threats from the Middle East. And so, he says, it began by recognizing the primary operator of instability. The Islamic Republic of Iran. That central decision has begun to drive all of the elements of our foreign policy in the Middle East. Reduce our footprint in Afghanistan. Get our young men and women home, reduce our footprints in Iraq and Syria be strong in terms of sanctions and place pressure on the regime, the Islamic Republic of Iran and then lay out a strategy for Middle East peace would had, which had multiple pieces, right? He says. Some of this is reality recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, acknowledged that the Golan Heights indeed is Israeli territory. We've also made clear that the settlements in the West Bank were necessarily unlawful. All of those things come together to place the conditions. Where frankly countries in the Middle East Khun CIA path forward for how you can take down risk and grow their economies. We think about these deals between Bear Bahrain and the Emirates as security arrangements and that's true. But the benefits to the economies of those three countries of opening up trade will be enormous. And so it's all about what's in it for me. And so they go around these folks, You don't like Iran. Now we can't stand them. We think their threat to stability. Okay. Well, then why don't we form a coalition and where all of the same mind You. We all think the United States Israel all these Arab countries, they think that Iran is banned there bad for peace. They're bad for the economy. They're bad for everything. So why don't we rally around that notion and get a peace deal? It is on precedented unprecedented. And you cannot calculate this. I mean, we have had Warring factions states whatever, forever over there, and if you get peaks And part of it has to do with us pulling troops out, not putting troops in and this is a strategy that the people on the left should absolutely love, but they hate it. And you know why they hate it. Because it's trump. If this were Obama doing this all the mainstream media would never stop talking about how brilliant the deal is. Right now they're going to try to find some flies in the ointment. Some the in the armor. You'll pardon the expression for some of you folks who think that's politically incorrect and they're going to try to pick this thing apart. If this robe ama, he'd already have gotten out. And then Obama got it like a month or two after he got into office, having done anything. Then he ends up with the whole Arab spring the stabilising the entire Middle East. I guess they can't take him back anyway. Huge, huge day as Faras piece is concerned, and who did it. Donald J. Trump the irony, huh? Quick timeout. Going back. On a team of robing sells representives will come to your car and take your order as soon as you pull up. Well, you know, it sounds to me. I mean, obviously, the drive thru aspect of things has been necessary for a lot of these restaurants to to keep going on the curbside thing, But it sounds to me also, that may be a lot of the general public. Have just kind of discovered that they really like drive through and they want to keep it going. Maybe there's just a lot of converts here that that that like that model versus sitting inside the restaurant, obviously their reasons for that right now, But going forward, Maybe just a lot of people are going to go. You know what? I just kind of like this drive thru thing, period. That's going to be my new new thing. People don't want to get close to each other so well. Don't mean I mean P Terry's They're the best at it. They've got a really good job. I got it down, son. It was the first to do it. They've been they've always been drive through. You call him when you pull up in someone brings it. I found that has been working more efficiently for them, at least from my perspective than what it used to be, which is walking in there and having to stand in line and they eventually get to you. They said they seem to have it down. Better. You've heard of flippy, right, Phillipe? No, no, you have we talked about flippy. The robot makes birdie. Oh, yeah, Yeah, yeah. Yeah. It's paying off for its creators to missile robotics is now in a prime position to be one of the main players in automating, You know, the upcoming cloud kitchen market in fast food across this country that when it comes to these hamburgers like McDonald's, like like White castle, like whoever You know you go into McDonald's, and they're not going to ask you. How do you want your burger cooked this forest, medium or medium? Well, I assume that all of these hamburgers are probably almost almost exactly the same weight exactly the same size and probably cooked the exact same amount of time. So you got to think they can figure this out and make this work. Yeah, Now, the very well it's pretty interesting. Ah. It's an investment opportunity, right? Yes, me. So robotics, right? I think it is. I think it's still in the early stages. Yeah. It is 8 40 here on the tide of Don show you got plans this weekend. Um, So we've put this show together sort of the last minute in the last 24 hours. I'm really glad that we have because something important is happening here in Wisconsin. Jacob Blake was shot by the Kenosha police on Sunday and in response A lot of things are happening. But part of it is the push again for the state Legislature to take up criminal justice. Simple police justice reform legislation. Nine pieces of legislation were introduced by Governor Tony Evers and Lieutenant Governor Mandela Barnes earlier this summer, but they have made no Mo mentum yet as the Legislature has not been back in session. In response to the shooting of Mr Blake. There has been a call for a special session specifically to take up this legislation. Meanwhile, that's that some things were seeing from the governor and the lieutenant governor. But meanwhile, a lot of leadership has been happening through the legislative Black Caucus. Wisconsin's legislative Black caucus has just a handful of members speaking to the lack of diversity we have in the Wisconsin Legislature, but ah Small but mighty. They are Senator Lena Taylor, Senator LaTonya Johnson, both from Milwaukee, and then representives Jason Field, representative David Bowen, representative Kalen Hat. Heywood, representative Lakisha Myers, All of Milwaukee and representative Sheila Subs of Madison are all members of the Legislative Black Caucus. I have two of them joining me today. It's really an honor and I so greatly appreciate them taking time out of their busy day to join us and talk to all of us. Kira Wurtz and are listening community represented David Bowen from Milwaukee. David You are actually a legislative caucus Black legislative caucus retreat Right now he's so much joining with today. Thank you so much. And thank you to my colleagues. Allow me to jump on for a little bit to really talk about the issues that question today. I was just out in Kenosha last night supporting people's right to protest. And I think this is so. No better time than now. Yes. Now there is no better immediately. Now to get things time And also I was on the phone. We have state representative Sheila Stubs are Madison representative. I think she might even represent Downtown where Warren is, I think. Hi, Sheila. How are you doing? I good as good and unfortunately I don't represent award area, but I wished I did for the university. I have the University of Wisconsin Madison, south and West part the Madison in a village of Shorewood kills. Excellent. Excellent. Thank you. Thank you. So I wanted to talk with both of you, representative bone. If you can start us off, especially because you were just recently in Kenosha, you said until Aah! The very early in the morning today. What's the mood that you're seeing in Kenosha and that you're feeling in Wisconsin right now? I think we're losing representative Bo. And for a moment he's relocating to a better spot. She love representative Stuff's, Khun, You started with that right now. Oh, representative going unless we can hear you. Okay. Sorry about that. Trying to limit the background noise here. Um, you know, I think your question was more so about Last night. You mentioned something about you was the most. The mood in Wisconsin and in Kenosha was the feelings in response to another police shooting shooting of Mr Blake by the Kenosha Police department. And you know to hear the news today that Jacob Blake is paralyzed from the waist down. From that announcement from his father. Literally. This is What we have been Fighting for advocating for Pred sometime people really feel like we can actually solve this and get this done in not lifetime. Can we no longer have to put this off that we can actually have accountability that we can have this uncomfortable conversation for some That feel like they have to choose sides and I'm here to tell folks there's no side when you know you have a young man of 29 years old. That's never There's no sound and to go snap. And they're Williams and many, many victims aren't sitting at their holiday dinner tables every holiday season with their families..

Then we come back after Rush Limbaugh, Marc, Melinda and Ed live in local 2 to 4. And today at 2 30 We will talk live with Austin Congressman Michael McCaul. He was in the briefing yesterday regarding these reports that Russia was paying bounties to the Taliban to attack and kill US troops in Afghanistan. So we will talk with him live at 2 30 to get his impressions of what was said in that briefing yesterday on we heard from some of the Democrats this morning. Ah, few of them were invited to the White House to get a briefing. They said It wasn't a briefing by the right people, but they came out and talked, and I still got the consensus that No one really knows if there is credible evidence to support this because I didn't hear one of them say absolutely. We know this for sure. And now is the time to act. They still kind of Came across like we're not sure how credible it ISS and Utah Republican Congressman Chris Stewart put a new twist on this story last night on CNN with Chris Cuomo. Now he is on one of the intelligence committees in the U. S house. He says. We being the Republicans and the Democrats in Congress have heard about thes bounty allegations for years. Yeah, that this isn't something that just popped up recently. It's been things that have been reported on for years. Here is Utah Republican Chris Stewart. Russia is not our friend. They're not an ally. They see two harmless, They seek to diminish its and diminish our role in the world everywhere. Particularly in a very vulnerable spot like the Middle East. So could they have done that? Absolutely do we know they did that? We just don't know yet. Which is why the president and the other senior leadership haven't acted or done anything on this yet, because once again, Chris, we just don't know we're trying to find out for sure. But this is something that goes back a long time to this isn't something just popped up in the last few weeks. For the last few months. Some of this Intel actually goes back for several years and I saw in one report. I haven't been able to verify it. But one report said. We're talking going back to 2014 that there have been rumors about this. And Congressman Michael McCaul, who is going to be with us live at 2 30 today on Marc Melinda and Ed tells the Washington Post That, yes, Different agencies see this in different ways. Some believe it is credible. Others say no, it's it's not credible, he says. There's a difference of opinion and that happens when you're gathering intelligence. There are differences of opinion about the accuracy and credibility. And he says, it's got to be accurate and credible before you present it to the president, and he makes a decision. On what action to take. We'll talk with Michael McCall and get more. We'll go deep on that coming up at 2 30 this afternoon. Well, I found something else. Interesting in the the interview with representives word, and that is, is that This information has been as he said. It's been in reports, but it's been reports that not only have landed on President Trump's deaths but have also landed on the desk of Pelosi, Schiff many of the intelligence committee in the House. Yeah, here he is on CNN last night just didn't reach level credibility. And by the way, Nancy Pelosi have this presented to her as well in much the same foreman. So did Adam ship. All of us Did. It was in the general intelligence analysis that we were seeing on a daily or weekly basis. None of them picked it out. I wanted to pursue it either. It was just one of many things that they were concerned about. And when you hear that, that's why you could reach the conclusion. This is all part of that strategy to damage Trump. Hey, you've got to give him credit for being persistent. You know, they throw something out, and then they go to something else and then something else. Then they come back. They always circle back. As Pelosi has said All roads lead to Putin. All roads lead to Russia, and that is so true with them. Absolutely. And the other big one that's emerging. Now is CNN with Carl Bernstein. Bernstein says many former White House officials and current intelligence experts have briefed him on the president's personal phone calls with world leaders. And they have concluded he's delusional. He's a threat to national security. When you when you look at the story and read it, they don't give specific examples of things he's done. In these calls that lead to damage to our national security. It's all about Style over substance. Well, in my question to them would be well, why haven't you said something? Why? Why are you coming as an anonymous source to a news? Outlet to tell this why haven't you push that forward somewhere else? Or if you really thought he was a threat to national security go, something needs to be done. Or I don't want to be a part of this because I'm not going to stand by and let Americans be heard by this delusional president Well, and when I stop and think about the national security record under Trump I see that he gave the order for the US military to wipe out Isis in Syria. That objective was completed. That was a success. It was booed..

City Council is ineffectual and uninspiring at best. Well, don't worry, because there are worse examples. You could be living in Toledo, Ohio. I was born in Toledo, Ohio. Oh, I'm so sorry. I mean, I left when I was one. So I knew was coming. I knew to get out when I could. I mean on their city council, pure fluster cookery ridiculous there that said, now in the city of Indianapolis, you're undoubtedly familiar with now the additional regulation that Joe Hawks that has just announced Failed. You thought that we were entering Phase five on July 4th, huh? You dumb piece of crap. You couldn't be more than Oh, my We are delaying reopening until July 18th. But, you know, of course, when sits for moving the goal post. That could really be any time could be August could be September. To be October. Who the heck knows at this point, but in the city of Indianapolis, not only will be full re opening will be delayed, but you'll be having to wear a mask as well. Basically, wherever you go, there are some exceptions. I'm one of those. I have the asthma. So you know, I could just carry around my inhaler and I will be exempt from Mayor Joe Hog sets order. Now, people with asthma are also those most likely at risk from infection of Corona virus, So that may not be advisable, but damn it. I'm an American and I could endanger my health. If I want to or not. It's my constitutional right to risk infection. Wanna catch 22? And so the decision? Mayor Joe made out made today about July 9th, when we have to start wearing mandatory mass doesn't seem to really be based off any July 9th just seems to be just a week from today. There was really based off of any expertise, and he sort of science. It was kind of just like we're going to start doing this a week from today, But Ari was reopening on July the fourth based on science. Well, you you got me there because I guess that's true to its one of those things where it's all political conversation has become political Ari, and it's a pandemic. It's a virus, a disease, something that that should be data and science driven. Not politics. I don't mind wearing a mask. I think that the mass do help. I just think that If you're going to make everyone wear a mask. Then you might as well open everything back up again, because if everyone's wearing a mask that everyone's being safe, every practicing social distancing as best they can. We can open things back up again. If there's no point of making everyone wear a mask, and still not opening things up, let's take into consideration The case of the great clips, hair cutter and Missouri were you from. Did you hear about her? Re RIA RIA introduced me to okay. The great clips hairdresser in Missouri, she tested positive. For Corona virus, infecting at least one other staff member and exposing potentially upwards of 150 clients now through contact tracing, they got back in touch with all of those clientele and two weeks after the event. Nobody got infected. And why? Because customers and the hairdresser's war mask there you go. So tying it back in. Yeah, if we all wear masks was the point of diddle angry opening, if anything, maybe that's the cost of reopening isn't what? Ah Vice president. Pence said that we should think of wearing masks and taking extra precautionary measures as the means to facilitating the reopening of the economy rather than the hindrance of it. It's the people I truly believe Most people are responsible, but it's the The one guy who is a jackass. If you will, and just doesn't talking about rob Candle That's inappropriate. Who refuses to wear a mask? You doesn't wash his hands who goes out of his way just to be that guy. He's got a room for the rest of us seriously like if everyone acted just a little bit responsible. This would be over so quickly, but people are so stubborn. I understand that you're upset. I understand It's an inconvenience, but I think at the end of the day, the mild the mild just washing your hands and wearing a mask when you're in inside and large groups. It goes a long way. And I think just the one guy screwing it up is gonna hurt all of us. This is America. Damn it. My freedom is more important than being inconvenience. And Okay now Democrats in Ohio and I mean, if you were dismayed by the lack of leadership coming from the Hogshead administration in the City council here At least you're not there. The Democrats Larry Sykes even harbor Tyrone Riley. Gary Johnson were named in the complaint Tuesday, along with attorney Keith Mitchell. All accused Of funneling bribes. The filing in the U. S. Northern District Court describes the alleged offenses as a receipt of bribe by agent of organization receiving federal funds and Hobbs Act extortion under color of official right, According to you Today, the FBI state started to investigate Toledo City Council all the way back in 2018. First listening or accepting cash checks, money orders or other things of value from local business owners in exchange for their votes on the City Council. Now we can at least rest assured that our city Council is not involved in this scandal because the business owners here would certainly be driving that you are correct. Tony Cats. Actually, we're talking about this on the midday show Tony Cats today and he was saying it's stories like this that are critically important and I agree local government. Is is where you need to go. People focus on the big stuff. President Trump the Senate, the House of Representatives. It's the local government that dictates the policy that you and I deal with every single day. So you might say. Ah, these are just some goofballs in Toledo, Ohio. No, no, no. This is happening all across the country. City County councils are notorious for shady shadiness going around all over the place. It is so important to keep an eye on your local government on your city County Council on things like this because you need to make sure that you're being looked out for You can't expect the people way up high to know about the little guy. Thes air your representives. These are people who are taking care of you. These are the stories that arm or important than the big stuff, In my opinion, and Ari, it's disappointing and ironic addendum to that discussion that you and I find ourselves in the age group that participates often least In elections of any kind. You're I'm 27 year 28. Millennials typically don't find themselves as being politically active. They represent themselves that way on social media. But as Faras the voting numbers go, we don't participate and that needs to change and also general elections. Presidential elections are fate favored and participated in more heavily than local elections. But the bitter irony there, as you mentioned again, local elections and local politics has the biggest And most direct impact on your daily life, and it's those people that you need to be paying attention to. But all too often they get ignored and then fluster cookery like until Leo is allowed to continue unchecked. I mean, we've even had issues of the Indianapolis City County Council, they had plenty of issues. Years ago with some legal troubles if legal stuff Yeah, that's right. You could Google that stuff if you want. This is not a one off issue in Toledo again. This is reveling. Local small government elected officials who get paid 1000 bucks a year are ripe for taking bribes and right for doing things unethical to put themselves ahead is so critical to keep your eye on these people and to hold people accountable. Your remedy for the disease can be found at the ballot box. There you go coming out of the next hour. We have a little bit of booze news to share where a Texas bar owner has made a stand against Governor Greg Abit, also human remains discovered. Close to an army base in Texas. Very disconcerting, giving you the details again. Coming up next in the next hour. Stay.
