"The Hawks. They're shorthanded and tie this one up now inside the hurricane zone along the left wing boards. God Dad has hit lost the puck down the boards. It's cleared out the center ice that by Lawrence taken back by the Hawks, here's cane, stepping into the hurricane zone at the right point. Perhaps it down the boards behind the net. Awake goes to the near corner pocket pot. Put it back behind the net Far corner. Cain took it away, then lost it out to the line yesterday, Fassel said it the other way to the hot blue line. Alec arugula reaching out the pope. Check it away once and then twice and three times. Good job by Regula. And we end up with an aside against Carolina here. Outstanding play at the Blue Line by young Alec Arugula. Yeah, big kid again. 64 £210. Your next job using that reach. Say is real smart with a heads up player, and the only thing he needs to do is is maybe his feet just got to get used to the speed of the NHL and figure out how he needs defending this level. Got a pretty decent package there for a young guy who was only 20 years of age. I'll drive its center ice is won by the Hurricane. Shay will sling the puck down the left side glass and it rolls behind the net near corner. Does Eudora who? This played the puck toward the crease and Colin, deal your flaps on it with the glove? If you're just tuning in the Duncan Keith is out of this game and will not return ran into the referee. Right in the knee of the referee with his face bang straight on. So Sheldon Brooke Bancaire Me Call it Terry and have to make some decisions on who they set up together. As far as the pairings on the blue lines. All those line changes. "By this whole me feeling not like myself and not being able to show up for my family like i wanted to. I've had that experience. And now i'm able to have the experience of owning who i am and living out my story even if it looks a little bit different than others and i want to help moms have that feeling that they won. The are the on the priority list. If anything even i always say you gotta take carry yourself. I because how are you going to help somebody. If you're unable. But a lot of times module like i can't so i'll say at least put your give yourself the same consideration if not more. Give yourself the same consideration as you would give someone else in your family because there's so much out there that you can do. We want i wanna help moms live and be excited and have energy for their kids as opposed to getting beaten down a lot of times. I'll i'll liken it to the picnic will create this picnic as moms and we'll get there and we'll open up the blanket and sit down and he'll hand everybody what they're eating for the picnic and then you realize you have a yourself anything and that's so common and my goal is to help moms pour into themselves so they have more energy and they're part of their family and and just live a little bit more kind of that. What's coming to mind. Is that notion of on a plane. Put on your own oxygen oxygen mask astray stray. -actly exactly and the tagline. I used for strong as we want to give our family the best of us not what's left of us and it's exactly you have to take care of yourself. We are supporting and thinking about what to do for others right in holding my hands because it's like we're lifting people up so we want to be the people helping moms because no one is generally going. Hey who's gonna pack your lunch today. So we wanna be there and give them the guidance and the support to To give themselves the same consideration. So what's the biggest takeaway from your story. "Who would play in the backyard and have fine and our parents just said if you wanna do it. We'll find a way to comment on out there at one time in your career to professional players in the same household. Do you attribute the nature versus nurture debate in case you didn't know we ask. We often ask. Because kevin was actually under erickson studen- and he and i met when we were doing research on expert per for rent. So that's just a little background on that question. We ask this every time. Yeah so. I don't know here's my answer. I think it's both. I truly do believe for in terms of nature. I'm just gonna also flat out say you can practice as much as you want. There might be a kid that moves into town. That's just going to be faster. And there's going to be that nature component. And i know that whole malcolm glad while book came out in the ten thousand hours just because you practice ten thousand dollars doesn't mean you're going to be an olympian or you're going to be personal ballplayer. That's just not the case. That's another reason why. I really want kids when they're young to play a lot of sports because often time the oftentimes the best eight year old athlete is not the best eighteen year old athlete. And you are going to have those kids that just come in. That are amazing. Anna case in point is we are watching masterclass as a team. That's what we did when covid was coming or coves here. Obviously we couldn't do a lot together and you look at someone. I watched serena williams. And she's just she's just that good but then on the flip side you watch someone like steph curry. Who used every single angle like. He breaks down hasty. This guy's toe pointed a little bit left which means i knew if i x y z. I could get around him. So i think there is a little bit of their to me. There's a little bit of like you. The nature part matters especially in sports genetics matter.

I i not only have to love the sport which i do but i have to love my day to day because i was just telling. My husband has two days ago. It's six games at the olympics. It's not yes. That's the pinnacle but it is not about those six games. It is about the time and the tears and sweat. That i do that. I put in every single day. And i could not do it if i did. Not have the respect for my teammates mutually. I could not do it if i didn't have that That overarching feeling that my time invested is a hundred percent worth it. And i would tell you if i had the same experience in two thousand eight. I probably would have said no. I'm not going to take that time away from my family to be miserable everyday so are not happy every day. So i am. I'm so excited. We have such a great opportunity. That was really powerful for me to at least say i tried it but it's not easy to get there. It reminds me of I'm reading adam. Grants new book right now. affordable cub They do with the valor performance group. In there's one part in there where he's talking about this notion of that when you fail or figure out that you're wrong about something that mindset shift is important of realizing that it doesn't mean you're wrong it means you're actually one step closer to being right or figuring out the past so it sounds very similar to what you were mentioning there. Yeah are you. Reading is think again. I have that i have probably a perfect segue into so it. Sounds like you are training again or will be with the olympics again. Yes so. I leave on the twenty second it's March and covert right to covid. So we actually don't really have any concrete plans. I don't know if i'm going to get to come home. I don't know if i can do this. And so this was the time like dad. Belief mom fearless. We made those words. And i truly felt like i can be fearless now and i can see a life. Where not only do we help people and make their lives better. But i can actually love my life too. So it's my chosen on. It's something that we've asked some of our gas before the I guess really. It's coming to mind to me as related to what you're talking about this notion of impostors drome that sometimes pops up so it sounds like there was a bit of that going on for you during this time was that new or had that also shown up when you were playing ball not never shown up when i was playing ball. I had this. I was very set in who i was. I was confident in who. I was still a human being that would be. I would question little things here there but never really in who. I was the whole imposter syndrome. And let me tell you. I still haven't now like i'm running business slash to. I'm training for my third olympics. I have three kids. I run this business. "Times around this amazing. I can't believe we actually did this. And the peaks and valleys. No one could have perp- it's almost like motherhood no one can tell you they can give you an idea. And they can say words but nothing is going to sink in until it happens to you and so it was really rough and we live in akron and it's a smaller town. And so i was hyper saco about making trying to make sure everybody was super happy because i felt like one bad review was going to sink the ship right. That's why i kept thinking we're going to be homeless like we're gonna we're screwed so that took a really big toll on me. I was up at three in the morning. Four in the morning just stressing that. What are we gonna do about insurance. What are we going to do if the gym goes under. What are we gonna do. We don't have that backup. And i wasn't feeling well mentally so it was basically adding fire into an already very wishy washy state like a depressive state. I was just adding extra stress onto it. So i i really. I'm just going to be super. I really struggled badly for the first few years when you said that it made me wonder. Do you think that your path a high performer. Maybe made you more prone to be thinking about those things. Because i've known myself a one might call me anxious at times and i've tried to accomplish a lot but i've also anything i'm doing. I'm thinking about all these boxes. That could be jack. Do you think it had any impact on your situation at the time hundred percent because so these are two lines that have said often. It's it was depressing to me to feel like i've already become the best at whatever it was going to do right. I hit the olympics. I knew that i was one of the best pitchers in the world right like that was an try beating that like basically i was like arms up like will. Now what am i going to do. I'm never going to reach that pinnacle of what i already have. So what am i doing. And so that was a huge struggle for me to be comfortable not being that person anymore and the other thing that was hard was exactly what you're saying. I had put so much time softball. Right like i could and again. I didn't throw particularly well. But mentally is where i would say. My strength wise. I could throw to the batter and just not even analytically. Think of it. But just know okay. Well i need to throw this next. Because i had done it over in my head and in person and in reality so many times that i couldn't wrap my head around not being good at this. How am i not good at business. And i thought if i was good at softball that should be the same as business. I did not have the patience to understand that. I was a beginner and made me question myself. Times a million. Because i just it's finally sunk in thank goodness that i'm going to make a lot of mistakes and it's okay and i'm learning from them whereas previously i would think of my mistakes. I was a failure just there. You were mentioning again. Feeling like your strength. Was your mental strength. Was that also in your mind at all like this but doubts my thing. I mentally strong as the victor. Why can't i be that now. You know it's so interesting. No i on the flipside got so down on myself for not being able to be mentally strong. I think logically. I could kind of understand that concept..

I not right so my husband came home one day and he knew he had been unfulfilled. Love his job. It was very dynamic and as the trading industry got higher and he can tell you about this but it was more computer and less personality and he started to not want to get up and go to work whereas in the past. It's a very. He's he was a football player. A soccer player who's very competitive so in the past it was very competitive minded and who can get it. I in the hand and all that he that was really exciting to him and a ton of risk involved which was also exciting. Which i don't get at all a traitor by He woke up your numerous times and then one day he came home and this is a true story. He came home and he goes. I'm betrayed her. I want to tell them that. I did something on my terms i wanted to do that. Filled my cup that helped others. So at that point i mean i was just. I was nodding sure. I had no idea what i was getting myself into. I had no idea what it was like to open a business. All i knew is he was miserable and we needed to make a change and we made a very very very very fast. New Trader Joe's Products to Add to Your Shopping List

"I'm Miller director of words and phrases and clauses at trader. Joe's and I'm Matt Sloan. The Marketing Product Guy. This is going to be our shortest episode of inside trader Joe's ever, but remember it's quality that counts not quantity. We have so many new products coming in, and we know that customers love getting a heads up on new products, and why not a short episode? It's just about that right. You've heard used that phrase coming in. Okay, so coming in is short for coming into the store. We've just left out the preposition phrase. We want to give you a little bit of a shopping list that you can go into the store thinking about. There's something about summertime and scooping ice cream into a cone, and just sort of letting drip down I. Don't know there's I love that so new and in stores now organic sugar cones their classic sugar cone. There are nice size. Those waffle cones previously delicious and a little unwieldy. They were very large sea put like a half of a court of ice, cream and Philips to these are right-sized We got rid of the Styrofoam inner packaging. So it's great product. I'm excited for those and there's twelve in a box. A Lot's been made recently meatless products right. Pro Team Patty kind like Burger. That's been getting a lot of great attention and we have now in stores in the refrigerated section. We call it a Turkey lous protein patty. These are great. I'm going to I'm going to serve these with a brand new salad kit that we have which is a lemony, a Aruba Basil Salad Kit it's bright. I love a Regula, but the bright lemon acidity kinda counters, a little bit of the bitterness Great Combo with that Turkey Lewis Patty. Yeah and I'm really surprised, just overall. How much that Turkey lists protein patty tastes like a Turkey Burger. We have two products that are kind of like bread or Tortilla replacements. One is a cauliflower, thin, and one is a Hickam Arab. There's so many things being made with cauliflower now right, so why not make something? You could roll up your luncheon to or or make a breakfast burrito out of or something like that? The one that I'm fascinated by which right now I don't think. Think is available in every store. The Hickam wraps 'cause. It's literally just very thinly sliced Hickama that looks like a corn. Tortilla has fifteen calories and three grams of carbs in two wraps, and so for somebody who's looking at those things whose like watching carbs, and who still wants to be able to eat things sort of like sandwich, or like a Taco or like a Burrito. Cruel product. To other in-store new treaty things one sweet one savory, our baton wafer cookies, Vanilla chocolate. We have a lemon variety so lemon baton wafer cookie in that cylindrical canister, just great like a lemon cream kind of crunchy cookie you. You could even stick it in the ice cream that is scooped into your ice cream cone. Yeah, there's probably twice as tall as the cone itself, so you'd have an architectural element as well which is like fancy dining. The Nouveau cuisine ice cream cone at. At the other end of the flavor spectrum we have spicy Salami chips. Don't let that chips word fool you because these are in the refrigerator section, right? It's just Salami, but it's given a little bit of a treatment. Not dissimilar from those baked cheese bites my memory of those from when we had them at the tasting panel was they were incredibly credible. Just I wanted to keep going back and getting more okay. Nice light summer logger, fantastic pairing with those little sloppy chips. would be good. Let's move into some things that have not yet arrived, but are coming soon sometime between now and the end of the summer, the corn cookie baking mix like the best part of Corn Bread, and the best, just sort of really simple sugar cookie, and putting those two things together, but in a suite cookie. That's not overly sweet I believe. We spoke about this in the chocolate. Chocolate episode, but we have that almond beverage chocolate bar coming out right, think of milk chocolate made with dairy milk. This is made with almond beverage and eats just like a classic, rich, creamy, sweet chocolate bar well, and I'm not somebody who avoids dairy at all for any reason, but this is one of the best tasting sort of milk chocolate bars I've ever had. In my life, even though it doesn't have milk in it. Oh a couple of really interesting health and beauty products that we have coming in. We have a strawberry hand, cream and strawberries sugar scrub coming in probably middle of June. End of

And then we heard rumors we got the rush from colleagues, and then Laos burst. I was gone. That's it's, it's thing based strategic now. They all know their secrets. So everybody knew that allows push was ill shake was not able to continue this race. I just spoke to Larum set at the best, and he said he was happy to see this on to-, hook and check Gersh at the moment. She's quite good shape, and they will do the work for him. He should but I don't believe that because a lot of. Flourish, two levels higher. And this leaves as a set rug Latina difficult position. But. You know he's so strong so far in the race how much they're going to need those guys. I'm not sure if he really needs the guys the team because I've looked at the starting Leshner. She all the teams there's only one team to my impinging Astana, wish quite good rightish and. They can provide from each other bit to the rest. Because if you meet Prims rock Lynch during the ratio, or in training camp, he shy he wants a anything, but that they because of the sun, I think. June before before the lawsuits from just before the start of the tour of Slovenia which also one, but it was every day, I have to admit he was friendly, rather outspoken for premiums rock nation.
