"You've got a guy who's line to finals MVP in winner but. I like the chances of the clippers because of that length in what they can do at the defensive end I'm with all those perimeter players theater every time I watched the Pelicans I go back to a comment you made that it brandon. Ingram was in a big city guy that he needed to get out of La and that New Orleans was perfect for him. Lonzo, ball had to get away from his dad and the whole pressure there and you know that it feels like he is like these guys were able to exhale it felt like they got there. But look at this lineup here in what the Pelicans have is they move forward. I if you look at the nucleus, would you be confident that this is a perennial playoff team in what you have in New Orleans and if not what do they have to have? It is going to be healthy and play. Thirty two to thirty, six minutes a game. Do you think he can do that because he hasn't shown it right? No, he's I think he's. Great. But I don't know if he's there was an article yesterday a doctor said he's in a race against his body. Of you know as big as he is is always going to be this explosive, and then what do you rely on when you're not that explosive and he's going to get bigger so I don't know I hope he doesn't get bigger because look. I love the street in the power he plays with don't get me wrong but I personally believe he is too heavy to be playing this and I think that's why they have kid gloves on them right now I ain't. They're managing his minutes because they don't want major injury because I believe he is too heavy he needs to shed. Their kept saying you know during the four and a half months. But I'm you know ten miles of muscle he doesn't need muscle. He needs to be a little bit leaner soul. Goes joint the knees and the lower back. There's not so much pressure on there. So I hope. Our hope going forward. If they're going to manage his his minutes they need to manage is food intake because he needs to take off. Fifteen twenty twenty five pounds. If, he wants to play thirty two to thirty six minutes and play seventy to eighty two games next season on which they're hoping for the League is hoping for. But, the he needs to he needs to lose weight but you remember facing a young Charles Barkley when he you know he was the. Idea the love whatever the large round mound rebound. Yeah. But you see how Charles moved when when his early days in Philadelphia, it's a lot like a Zairean Zaire would probably a little bit more powerful in his finishes in his dunks I'm Charles never got hurt. Charles never got hurt. Any was able even. Extend his career by losing weight the older he got you. I things, I. He looks a little having to me. Oh he is heavy and but but he's putting up like a point per minute when he does play. So it's grim. regs has got Celtics Raptors. So you're doing that game tonight. I'm doing Toronto Boston. Okay. My Raptors. My Raptors everyone keeps talking to what did I say last week when you asked me to know I know. I know and what have they done so far there is. GonNa feed it here in the bubble and they're taking names and I know a scary team they are. he's. He's Reggie. Miller. He'll be on the call tonight reg. Good to talk to you have a great weekend and we'll talk to you at some point next week. Your door. Thank you. My Danettes, we'll take a break play. The day is up next here on the Dan. Patrick Show. "I WANNA put Denver in there but they've had so many injuries and they don't have their starting lineup though the way Michael Porter Jr. is playing in they still have Yokich who looks great. Okay KC. People are not giving Chris Paul enough credit. For. Everyone, died it was going to be a pitstop for him this year and he has Oklahoma City playing at a very high level in terms of. You know scary teams. I've got to put the Houston Rockets in there in this looking at them last night. They are making shots look they're going to get killed on the boards. We seen that they're getting out rebounded by twenty a game, but if they can turn you over which we seeing in the. Transition and they've got two guys that flat out put pressure on you offensively on every possession in Hardin in Westbrook, I would probably have to say the the rockets are probably the most scary team because of the unpredictability of what they bring with that six seven lineup and being able to switch everything and t G. A P J. Tucker. Defensively what he did last night versus Anthony Davis was was phenomenal at the Reggie called the heat and bucks last night along with the Lakers and rockets tonight it's Celtics Raptors that's nine eastern on TNT. Here's the exact quote from Lebron, he said it's just some things that you can't control. That's here that I really don't WanNa, talk about that's off the floor. So I. Don't know what he's alluding to I'm I'm assuming that has to do with something internally with his team maybe not in his personal life. Maybe, sending a message to somebody on his team I don't know kind of cryptic. A? It is but it raises more red flags because when Lebron speaks obviously everyone listens and that is that's a loaded. That's only answer to a question right there and you know more people are going to grow and try to find out what is going on with the Lakers especially. Just gauging the way they're play. The last couple of days we've had some people comparing a couple players to Larry Bird Gregg Popovich said. Jokic. Of reminds him of Larry Bird because he does everything and then you've got a few people comparing Luca to Larry Bird here pretty high praise for these two players of those two who's more like Larry Bird in your opinion. Luca. Aloe coach Popovich. Arguably one of my favorite coaches in the league. Both accounted in yoga in Luca. But in terms of Larry Bird Larry Bird was straight assassin score would put thirty, five year and. A half. I don't think he had a killer instinct. Lucas more has that killer instinct offensively. And can half the basket ball? He just doesn't have the size. Larry was a true six, nine, a big long six nine. Seven foot is the joker. He doesn't have that killer instinct offensively, he can score, but he's not trying to come in each and every night it embarrass you. Luca tries to embarrass you. I. Think. So in terms of WHO's closer to Larry Bird in my opinion, it would be, Luca. Danni judge and watching the game with the clippers and the mavs and while Porzingas in Luke ahead good games there. Was something that was interesting and that was Kawai all the sudden went into playoff mode and while. That's it's tangible. You're watching it and you go and then he said afterwards like he's getting, he's getting locked in and he doesn't say much I don't know much about him but that was a look or there was a field of the game and I know it's the mavs. But I saw something that is I rarely see where you see somebody go I'm going to flip a switch now. I'm a different player different person and I was like that last night. And to your point when you just asked me Lakers or clippers in, you tell me about the cold from Lebron something's going on possibly internally with my team and on the flip side, you hear the clippers quite saying I'm getting locked in right now I know. It's two different things in. Coli when we talk about being able to affect the game at both ends. Look. Luka is a fantastic young player but quiet Linda. Look at that as a challenge right and they potentially could face in the first round. I believe Dallas is currently in the seventh spot in the clippers in the second spot. So this is a potential or frown. Matchup and you've got quiet and Paul George. Say, okay. We're going to give you something to think about in about ten days when we see and I think they're trying to send a message. I'm trying to figure this out though in it feels like the clippers quiet they don't make any headlines unless they go to a strip club they just WanNa go there just waiting where. Everybody focuses on the Lakers either good or bad. They're the focus that now they're shooting now their offense. Now, this is a big deal. As you know, we end up with the regular season clippers are just they're approaching it the right way from the standpoint of not saying anything they got a deep roster. There got a great coach and you got one guy who's done it before a couple of times that that value of having a player who's done it and those other clippers players are going he can do like I'm waiting for Paul George to be a big time player I'm waiting for that just like I am Anthony Davis those the two guys that I wanna see. I think Y which one of those two steps up in a bigger way might decide who wins between the Lakers and the clippers I think that much of Anthony Davis ability to be able to dominate. What do you think what Theodore Look? This is doc rivers slogan coming in to the restart, win the weight and right now and rightfully. So the pressure should be on the Lakers you go out and get Lebron James Generational player you add Air Davis they have the championship they had the hall of Famers, they have all the banners hanging in staples. For. So many years the clippers been, you know the little brother. So there's less pressure on them and I think they're approaching this the right way. That's why all the the pressure is on Anthony Gates you know you've been first team, all NBA you're in line for defensive player of the year this year. But she played in, New Orleans you wanted out you got out you came to the Mega Hot Los Angeles Lakers we mentioned all the hall of famers centers hours at a plate in this organization. So the lights are a little bit brighter. Now it's time to shine. You can't come out and take what seven shots in have nine points. In the next game you come out and have forty. The consistency has to be there for at and or the flip side of the Clintons remember all George runner up in the last year while his time in in. Okay. See now he's had to take a backseat come into the clippers because.

"Occasionally. It certainly happens right now because Reggie Miller on the program, Reggie called the heat and the bucks game the Lakers rockets and tonight Celtics Raptors at nine eastern good morning reg are. Great Theodore Good Morning and I would put us as equal. No, that's not true. Hey, you're up there with me. Hey Dig. nope dating shot of your. Own? You, know. Do you realize I don't know if I ever told you this story when we had. Ray, Allen in studio. and. Okay. So I'm watching ray shoot in the man cave. And I said hit the ball is resting on the palm of your hand so I'm critiquing. So one of the top ten shooters in the history of mankind I'm GonNa put them in top by race talk by. The look he had on his face yes. Seton I. Believe the exact quote when I talked to him what's you know you're doing that wrong? I don't know what made me sad but. Shoot with your fingertips. He had it on his poem and he goes like, what are you talking about? I should be able to put my finger underneath between the ball in your hand. Am I right with that reg? You're you're right with that. Goes to show you that shooting are like fingerprints they're everyone is totally different and everyone has different released points might elbow is when I shot Ray has textbook or with his elbow being. So. Everyone is different but the fact that you would correct the all time leader in three pointers made in the. Wires Theodore though I don't let confidence when it comes shooting. But and you're right. You know you have your elbow out and I remember when I was shooting and we had a basketball hoop the super bowl in Indianapolis and Larry Bird was watching and Larry came on he said your elbow, it's out and he was critiquing my shot because my elbow was out just like yours so. Just letting you know. The ball go yeah you. All. That matter do you realize I'm still trying to perfect my shot at my age with nothing to play for? Are you do you do that? I do when I do is like goal you know you. Know even professional golfers still take lessons and they still critique themselves and. I think shooting in playing the game of basketball is a lot light golf because there is no such thing as perfection and it's interesting because when I was calling the Lakers games last night because. Their offense right now I it's. It's like being on hiatus. He hasn't. It has found its way to the bubble yet. Yeah, and warmer points. So great up to that point in their shooting, you look at their numbers I believe we mentioned it. Over the last two games, they're like six, four, fifty from three and you're wondering is it lakes do they have a are tired of it? Their offense just not seem does not seem to be instinct, and this is with low another Rodman play last night but two nights ago versus okay. See he played. But what how concerned would you be if you're a Laker fan right now? I said this on their last night. I understand they have the number one seed in the west and they are trying different things trying to grow but you've got to have some type of rhythm going into the playoffs in. Everyone is in a unique situation here with. I wouldn't be concerned if they were playing in staples in front of twenty thousand fans and you get that energy and you get a little pumped up, you are in a unique environment where whole court will not matter, and if you don't have a great rhythm starting the playoffs on August seventeen to me, that's the only thing. That's that's a little unsettling is because they don't have a rhythm yet offensively the only team in the bubble the Lakers with Lebron James Anthony Davis that are not averaging one hundred points and with those two great players it's a little concerning for me. Everybody is scoring in the bubble except for the Lakers. But is there a reason why everybody is let's take the Lakers out of the equation why is it that scoring is up so high? I think the big thing is. Teams manufacturing their own energy. And there's less pressure on some teams because usually in their home court advantage like for instance Philadelphia before Ben Simmons got injured. Every time he caught the ball at home in Philly everyone want him to shoot three's the crowd would gas. There's pressure playing in some in certain environments in situations. In the bubble there's no fans there's no degree of pressure. It's really who wanted more and I think you're seeing especially some of the elite guys like Devon Booker who's doesn't matter if he's playing a twenty thousand or two people. Absolute Shows TJ Warren these guys have got a new lease on their games because they're just going out and playing and I think that's why scoring and shooting is up because more guys. Are playing more free and open. I don't know if you heard this. It was like a throwaway line from Lebron where he talked about something off the court but he said I, don't WanNa. Get into that. Now I think this might have been after the game that he had the quote. I don't know what he's alluding to here but just the fact that you mentioned that he mentions it now the curiosity is piqued of wait what is bothering him so much so that he would bring it up during a press conference or kind of bring it up there. I don't know if you heard that comment from. Here, but let's remember now there there's so much going on in the middle of a pandemic these players still walk to have their voices heard in terms of social justice. So there's there's still being surrounding and affecting these guys while they're in the bubble so. You don't know alluding to something off the court in terms of his activism or if he's talking about something internally, that's going on with the team. I it's hard to get a gauge on on what's going on with the Lakers or Laurent. But Yeah I mean, sure that's a red flag comment coming from the Ron who who sat out last night with a little bit of growing issue. If, you had to bet a week's pay on the Lakers or clippers right now. Today. I'm going with the clippers I think. There deep. How they play the game in terms of their length. You know they got a Lou Williams back. I know beverly didn't play last night but. To me they're they are the favorites to win the West because of that debt in the got two guys in quiet Leonard All. George, who can dictate the outcome of a game at both ends of the floor in both are young. Both have experienced in the playoffs well coached by a doc rivers who's won a championship. I personally would would lean toward especially after looking at the offense. For the Lakers I'm leaning towards the clippers. In this type of environment third best team in the West who?.

"Opt back in you don't have a deadline you have with the NFL. But you're going to have some of these players they're going to be maybe juniors and they're gonNA go should I continue to do this? Maybe I can get paid I signed with an agent if I'm going to be a first or second round pick maybe I can get paid maybe it can just concentrate on getting ready for the combine in the NFL draft. You might start to see a few more of those players. Yes mclovin does the NFL against any of these players if they don't play can actually hurt their draft status. I think it depends on how good you are didn't hurt. Nick Bozo didn't hurt Christian? McCaffrey of sitting bull game. Didn't Leonard Fournette sit out a bowl game as well. Yeah. A lot of guys. Yeah. I mean it's different for just a bowl game but nick Bosa shut it down. And You Know Ohio state was fortunate that you have chase young but you know. That that caught a Lotta People's attention where you're like, wow, he's not going to try to come back at all in. This is a team that was gonNA play for a national championship. And he was a captain. Like, that was what was surprising about that but. It nothing is going to surprise me now. and. You're your. Member when Oklahoma moved up their season opener, they wanted to go a week earlier. They just want to get started because I think that's the real fear that college football is not going to get started. If feels like if you get started, then it'll be harder to shut it down. And you know is that the philosophy that Oklahoma had? Maybe let's just get going. And then we'll see what the collateral damages from week to week as we move forward here. But you're starting to see some of these conferences they're moving games back. You want to have this window of opportunity that you want to get the Games in. You'd love to have them over by Thanksgiving, and then you don't have students won't be on campus then they'll go home for you know the the winter break. and. Maybe you'll be playing in a conference championship game maybe it'll be playing in the playoffs. You know you're seeing the the playoffs in division two and three they're canceled I. Don't know if you're going to have that in FCS but right now. It just feels like this is a moment to moment day to day almost hour to hour with college football we'll talk to PAT forty he'll join us coming up in a little bit. Yes booy. Oklahoma. Felt like a bunch of guys painting the House for rainstorm like they're just trying to slap together. Get it done before the big cloud comes in. That's that was their moves it was. I see what they're going for. I don't know if it's going to work. I don't know but. You know that this could be just a conference by conference. Are you GONNA do I don't know what are you going to do? We're going to try to play here. I don't know if you're going to have many other schools follow the Yukon model because. Keep this in mind with. Connecticut. Randy Edsall. Yesterday was he was very good very open Lot of lot of people in social media saw that in reacted to it. Do I think the bottom line is the safety of those players? I'm going to say, no, I think the bottom line is money I. Think you have to factor in those players and their safety and their opinion but I think this was Connecticut was gonNA lose. Money. If they played football this year or tried plus they're an independent and they lost their marquee games you they had a couple of games with the ACC couple of games I think the big ten and they're an independent and they shouldn't be in the FBI anymore they should. They should drop down to, FCS they're not a big money making program there. And Wall I, appreciated coach Edsel coming on and saying you know they listen to the his players I. Hope he did. I. Hope All of these coaches do because they deserve to have a voice here they don't have a union. And coaches can go through the motions and say, Hey, you know we took the temperature we talked to our captains or whatever it might be. I hope that they get a voice they get a chair at the table where they can at least express concerns that they might have. Can you opt out and still keep your scholarship I'm assuming that the Connecticut Football Players DOT playing this year they keep their scholarship. They didn't opt out the school basically did. But what about these other kids around the country? Can you still keep your scholarship? Yom mclovin it's a kind of a question for all of you. Why can't you be good football? They have that beautiful they have a great stadium. Fiesta, like eight years ago, they obviously have the capability. Why don't they wrap it up and be good instead of going down? Well, they're an independent. I think they rolled the dice thought they were going to get into the or some bigger conference would take them. They were in the Big East but you know. You're you're on an island, Notre Dame can survive on an island. Connecticut cannot they just not that that program has been going down? It feels like every single year. And you know, can you recruit there? Who are you recruiting against? And it's a basketball school as well. All right we'll come up with a poll question. Right mclovin. Yeah, I mean I. I want to put out there. You might think this is the wrong question to ask but why don't you hold on? Okay. 'CAUSE we'll take a break, Reggie Miller will join us from the bubble and I'll ask him got any suggestions on what the Lakers do get that offense look in a little more formidable it's fifteen after the hour. This is the Dan Patrick Show. Thanks for listening to the Dan Patrick Show podcast. Sure.

"In the NBA bobble started out pretty high in some of the Games are still pretty good and you got a lot of scoring. Starting to see some teams rests in starters here like the Lakers did last night with Lebron and I don't want to hear any complaints. These are the last four games of the regular season. Nobody watches the last four games of the regular season. During a normal year we're just noticing it because it's the bubble and it's the Lakers. But if you're a Laker Fan, you're probably saying, we don't need to have Lebron out there. The blocks. Bucks, fans probably don't want the Greek freak out there either although he looked great last night Lakers inbox or the favorites teams like the clippers and raptors or right behind them, and you have a bit of an unknown right now because people are looking at Portland, could they be a spoiler here? Could the rockets a spoiler here? WHAT ABOUT DENVER? So there's a few teams. We're not quite sure of, but we put a question mark by just how great they'll be if they get into the postseason and by that I mean Portland. Because, Portland had forty five from Damian Lillard last night they're a half game out and Memphis is limping to the finish line. The PELICANS got a great night out of Zion but they lost their game as well. So it looks like Portland is going to be your team I watched Phoenix Against Indiana and they had two of the more interesting runs that I've ever seen in an NBA game they went on a twenty one to nothing run and a seventeen to nothing run. They went on to win despite shooting nine of thirty four from three point range. Phoenix is now four known the bubble. I don't know what it means, but there four no in the bubble but we have a couple of meaningless games coming up for the most part and I know I talked about this yesterday everybody's talking about it today and that is the Lakers offense. Now the Lakers offense unlike most of the other teams has not been consistent has not been explosive. We've seen some moments where Lebron goes off. We've seen some moments where Anthony Davis goes off. I don't think that they're concerned about the first round because the teams they would be playing in the first round are not good defensive teams, but it can show probably will show when you get into the second round because if you're getting into the second or third round chances are you can play a little bit of defense and I think that's when it might emerge that the Lakers have some issues here. You know they're back court they're not quite sure you know when you lose two players like Rondo in avery. Bradley. That just affects your rotations and they do have a good bench I have to admit the. Waiters is played well Kuzma. Caruso. The question is, are you going to put one of those guys in the starting lineup here to get more offense that'll be when I'm looking for as we get closer to the start of the postseason or once we start that opening round but Reggie Miller will join US coming up in a little bit. I mentioned the little TIFF between Jim Harbaugh the head coach at Michigan and Ryan Day. He's the head coach at Ohio State. There was a big ten coaches news conference yesterday it was a conference call and. Jim Hall harbaugh reportedly interrupted Ohio States Ryan Day, and accused him of breaking rules regarding on field instruction. Harbaugh ask day about a photo that reportedly showed the buckeyes assistant coach. Washington working out the Ohio state linebackers. Now NCAA, rules don't permit on field instructions until today. So Day. Fired back. How `Bout I worry about my team and you worry about yours. Then, Ohio state. Had A team meeting on Monday and according to buck nuts. And is that a website or a person? That's a website. Buck nuts day purportedly told his players that the wolverines better. Hope there's a mercy rule this season because quote GonNa hang one hundred on them. There is no there is no mercy rule by the way in college football. When ESPN asked day about the reported incidents during a zoom meeting on Thursday he declined to comment I appreciate the question, but I'd rather not answer that right now. While I was in Columbus two years ago when they probably could have put honey on them I think they put what thirty, three hundred. And they could have easily scored eighty that day against them. And here we are going to be in Columbus if they play now, they moved it up a month. It was going to be It's UC thanksgiving weekend. Oh boy. I would just go to tailgate and listen to the game outside. It's such a great atmosphere certainly for that game and in Columbus and even Ann Arbor. But just to be able to go and listen well, there's they're not gonna be any fans there. So I don't know what I'd be listening for. Just. To have that atmosphere there looks like it'll be really really spicy between those two. and. If you're Harbaugh, this is what horrible does. He doesn't win big games at Michigan. But he's pretty good in August horrible might be undefeated in the spring and in August. We do regular season. There's a couple of problems there. Yes. He knew if only he could translate that winning to actual games against Ohio state then. You'd really have something. So that conference call was on Monday, and then they followed up with day yesterday and he didn't want to talk about. How does somebody not have any audio of? Now this conference call with the coaches. But is the the media's listening into this? The big ten is gotta release. This is something here we might not have football. This might be as close as we get to football here. How does somebody not record this? Yes. Time why wouldn't they want the to record so that they get quotes correct a lot of times if going to a classroom or wherever you are you're recording just you can play it back and make sure you've got it. Exactly right. I don't know I don't know I thought that this would be something that the media is able to record, and then you can distribute or the big ten would record and then distribute. Pat Forty from Yahoo Sports sports illustrated every conference is now prepared for a player movement and likely we'll have a quick response. They all see it as a matter of when it happens in their league. Not If there's a mountain West player movement going on, you got I mentioned a couple of days ago that the source said you're going to see smaller conferences, smaller schools they're going to opt for the spring and you're starting to see a few more of those situations. They're few more players that are opting out. You've got a couple of first rounders potential first rounders maybe a lottery pick out of Miami out of the U. A defensive Lineman is that Rousseau mclovin? Yes. Like the philosopher. Okay. Thanks for that. Well he's probably a top ten pick and mocked ramps right now and he's going to opt out. You'll probably see a few more of these linemen interior linemen who were going to opt out. We have the player at Purdue Rundell more. He was great as freshman year and he's pretty much the face of purdue football. He was injured last year. He's going to opt out as well and that doesn't mean you can't.

"My father decided is GonNa make beautiful dinner. Plans at is great restaurant in New York. Kornacki Sakis and we're going to go there because mother's Day was approaching and we're GONNA take my mom out to hockey. Sakis growing up as Knicks fans in nineteen ninety five going out watching the Knicks. Game when you go out or going out right after the next game was pretty much standard in. Oh you don't you. Don't miss the Knicks Games. Go Out. I don't care what fans is. It doesn't matter if it's a birthday. They have to wait until after the Knicks game or or they could be borne prior to the game but they can be born during the next game so this game was going. We're getting ready to go out and we're watching this game and let me tell you. The Knicks are playing a phenomenal brand basketball at this point in time. We're pretty much. We're pretty much closing his game out. This was this was it so fourth quarter MOMS Yellen. Come on get ready get ready. We're trying to watch the television while getting ready and I look. There's only a few seconds on the clock nine nine so eight point nine second and bad inbounds from John. Starks happens then amidst free throw then three points it. Reggie had eight points in eight seconds. Eight points in eight seconds. That was the quietest dinner we've ever had. The restaurant was quiet. My Dad this one word. We all down in absolute astonishment we all collectively New York had the same look on our face thinking the same thing. John starks stick. Did this guy just exactly base seven thousand nine hundred ninety five today. Reggie Miller took the heart of the garden and Spike Lee and every New Yorker watching day. Tough Day I said. That's here's from it but I'm okay. I'm okay I'll be better. I'm GONNA BE STRONGER BECAUSE OF IT. You know so. That's why I tell. That's why I coach my kids to play to the end. 'cause you never know they may have. Reggie Miller Reggie Miller over there. So let's go to the next segment one of my favorite segments as we talk about other things as popular. I call it shady or genius. Yes and on shadier genius. We're talking about something that has happened. Just a few days ago on Thursday Great Jaanus Jaanus Janas Unto Combo Aka. The Greek freak actually His account was hat so there was tweets that were coming out. That was an extremely negative was curry family towards The late great Kobe Bryant Wars the walks making statements that The only only time that if he doesn't drop sixty they call them the N. Word in his dad you know saying About Khris Middleton and his family and things of that nature so it was a lot of disparaging remarks coming from that twitter account so apparently what had taken place Janas. Donald Trump does not not only his twitter account but actually His twitter account as well as others few other social media accounts and is bank account was actually hacked. I was able to get the password to it. He was a bull to regain control of that twitter account. And I'm assuming the other accounts as well and he responded by saying that you know is is is for something that was dated and he's deeply disgusted by anyone. Say any of those regarding the Carter family as well as the Bryan family and of course organization of the bucks that he is extremely happy to be a part of. And don't get me wrong I. I applaud the backtrack. Because you can clearly see that. The person who was writing was obviously somebody either very intelligent thirteen year old because they were able to get into account or they were just a per- a savant in a way of hacking in but didn't do well in grammar didn't hit really high on the English part because the tweet swirling very poorly put together. It was sadly presidential but It was very poorly put together so with that being said I have to say that it was absolute genius of Jaanus to get out in front of this and make sure that he Hit TOUCH BASE WITH IT. A ride on.

"Dan Patrick Show more phone calls as we always do every Monday. Best and worst the weekend Reggie Miller prominently on the last dance will join US coming up. Red should take victory lap there Michael Wooden mean-spirited to him. Mike took no prisoners but he had great respect. For Reggie and those Indiana Pacers. I just saw this story. This is about Sean. Payton and the New Orleans Saints. He was speaking on one zero five point seven. The Fan and Sean Payton said the Tampa. Bay buccaneers forced then head coach. Lovey SMITH TO TANK and lose a game to the saints in week. Seventeen of the two thousand fourteen season so they could take Jameis Winston. He said that they forced Lovey Smith. To take his starters out of the game so they could get one spot to draft Jamus. And Sean Payton says the saints were up or down twenty two seven at halftime buccaneers. Went on to lose twenty three to twenty giving up sixteen fourth quarter points to New Orleans that gave the bucks the number one overall pick. They drafted Jameis Winston. Now jameis Winston is with the New Orleans saints all right Poll question make love and the results. So far okay. I two hours was. What's the best opponent that the Bulls beat in the playoffs? It was the Pacers and the jazz a close second and todd at an interesting question that I will breaking news todd with interesting question. Okay I WANNA. You're talking about curiously. Where if they would have maybe one seven eight titles? If Jordan didn't play baseball and they just played straight through. What are you more curious about? How many total titles the Bulls would have had if baseball wasn't involved or Kobe and shack? Stay together for their full careers or for the time they were first together in state all the way through really thought of Shaq and Kobe. I've I've often said that. We would look back on their career together for what they didn't do and not what they did do because they they could have won as many as they wanted to. It felt like Jordan. I would like to see those two years. You know when he he was interrupted to play baseball or interrupted his career to go play baseball if he had stayed those two years. I don't know if they would have won. Titles both of those years I think. The toll of winning three in a row really took their toll on that team and Michael Jordan. I think Michael needed. They rest I think he was burnt out and him leaving and then coming back and recharge battery and then he got to you know after the Utah Series. When they won you could tell he was burnt out again. He said look. I would have come back to play one more game. I don't know what that payroll would have been. I don't know how good they would have been because Jordan. Would we know he would have been great? Pippen probably wouldn't have been there because they couldn't afford him. Rodman only played twenty four games after that. He washed up with the Lakers. I believe an Ron Harper was getting long in the tooth. Steve Kerr so you start to look at Judd Bush Ler Bill Wennington or Bill Cartwright or whoever else was on those teams and you're saying no yet coup coach. If you have coach Jordan you gotta chance. Would they have been as good as the Knicks that year and that was strike shortened season? I don't think they were better. Than the spurs that year and Spurs one title Shack was traded away from the Lakers in. Oh five after the five season he was thirty two years old that next year Miami still very good player twenty three and eleven but then the next couple of years injuries in down to about a eighteen points in eight and rebounds a game so cooled off pretty quick. Yeah he might have won a couple more titles there with Kobe because Kobe went onto win a couple more titles without shack. And maybe it would've been almost like magic. Became the leader of the Lakers with Kareem in the twilight of his career. Maybe it would have been that way with Kobe and Shaq but yeah I think back on Michael taken those two years off and not winning titles their Houston won those titles. If they'd stayed together would they have? If they won those titles there would they have won the three titles that you know the second three peat? That's what I'm curious about. I think the enormity of it Jordan was caught up in this world that he created he became this global star. He was not just a basketball player. He was a celebrity. He was like a leading man in Hollywood but around the world and I don't know if he could continue that pace I'd I'd as as most as competitive as he was. I don't know if he could continue. That pace is kind of strange seeing Lena. Leonardo di caprio coming into the locker room. And then you know Mike Okay. Hey yeah cool. Yeah I don't have time. I don't have time for this. Every place Jordan would go. He would have this like. He said they were traveling circus. Everybody wanted a piece of this. Everybody wanted to go meeting everybody. You would see this in the NBA. Finals there'd be celebrities all over the place and they just wanted a piece of Mike they say a low they wanted to. You know whatever. It was handshake. They just wanted to be around Michael Jordan and I think that really took its toll on him. We got everybody's best and worst weekend except for Pauly's best the week. I'm GONNA GO Darlington. Nascar racing the race was great. Is Very natural. Felt just like any other NASCAR race. The celebration seat was talking about was very weird because after the races. When you hear the fans the fans smoking tires people were jumping up and down pouring amount dew on each other. It was quite subdued. But it's pretty cool and then the passing of comedian actor Fred Willard. He was eighty six years old. He's one of those guys who's not a household name. It's more like I know that guy from this movie. I know that guy. He made everything better. If you haven't seen best in show or one of his other movies he's fantastic. Yeah and we were just talking about him. I didn't realize that he was eighty six. But Fred Willard. He made everything he was in funnier. He just had the ability. Couple of phone calls Chris and Zona Pay Chris. What do you have for me this morning? Down going five six bucks on sixty the best and the worst. I think the best was Definitely the whole ten the ten part series of the last dance and then the worst is getting all these Sources of the sources of the the. Gator the clue game. We'RE GONNA start getting all these unwanted stories probably coming in that they know sources. So that's all I have thank you Chris. Yeah we had a source close to the person who made the pizza for Michael Jordan and said that he worked at Pizza Hut. He made the pizza and deliver the pizza and there weren't five guys who went with him. We also got this from the director Jason Hair. And he said the reason why the other people room didn't have any of the pizza and they didn't get sick is because Michael's spit on the pizza so they wouldn't so they wouldn't eat it and he said Michael would do this occasionally. He had some brownies when he was on a commercial shoot and he wanted to make sure the security guys didn't eat the brownies so he spit on. The brownies went out and did his photo shoot and then came back so they wouldn't eat the browns. Yes paulie this guy's making thirty three large a year and he can't order to large. Jesus there's not a special. There's get some breadsticks for the FELLAS. I one pizza for the four guys in a room. I'd order a second one for you. Why is it that it was kept secret that this was food poisoning? And not the flu game. That's what I want to know that. That's what I find. Amazing is all of these years. Michael never corrected anybody. Because we've all the flu game in Mike and the flu game and he went on. And why did you change now? What why how did it become the flu game? And you didn't correct anybody back then now. It's the food poisoning game. There's so many questions I have so.
Flu Game, Kerr's Story, Jalen's Reflection
"I know this was motionless evening for you. I know as an emotional evening for you to watch your team. Push Michael Jordan's bulls further than they have only been pushed once before to a game seven and be so close to winning. It would feel like sitting downstairs. And you're watching this episode it was it was bittersweet. Jacoby because the one thing about being on a team one of the legends. That Michael Jordan. Stop from getting Reggie Miller Patrick Ewing Karl Malone John Stockton Charolais. So can Charles Barkley and Gary Payton Clyde Drexler Chunk. Is that that black cat. Some special and while the rest of the world gets a chance to enjoy and celebrate him as a former Pistons. growing up still native Detroit. Ann Reid with my squad to the fullest and then plan for the Pacers. I basically never got a chance to appreciate the greatness of Michael Jordan. I was route or playing against him his entire career so watching the dock and seeing how he was able to overcome certain obstacles gives me a level of respect and appreciation for player to already acknowledged as to go in the NBA. "I mentioned my jags. Officially tanking they brought in Mike. Glennon is the backup quarterback probably mean spirit. On my part he threw nineteen touchdown passes in two thousand thirteen. How many touchdown passes do you think. Mike Glennon is thrown since that two thousand thirteen season. The answer seventeen total. Let's bring in the hall of Famer Reggie Miller boy. Reggie has a great Sunday. Every Sunday Reggie gets to sit down and watch Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls. This is the worst assignment you've had probably since you were in school at Ucla. Reg Omar Good. I would take Ucla right now education. I'm going through every Sunday but I will say You know watching. I think it was the end of episode seven last night. Mj You don't need to apologize. You only do apologize of what your DNA is. Because this is what I tell people at the end of the day. The headline is not going to the bill. Winning team led us down. Be Armstrong. Let us down Judd Buechler. Let us down Steve. Kerr not even Scottie. Pippen the headline is going to be Michael Jordan. So you have to be a taskmaster. You have to whip guys in the shape. Don't apologize for that that's your DNA. That is how I was somewhat raised. 'cause I was raised by magic and Byron Scott and Michael Cooper win at all costs absolutely. And if you don't WanNa fall in line you see the door. Dubai. I don't WanNa hear it. And you know when Steve. It's funny because when Steve Kerr and Is Kinda reminiscent on the fight? That's every Tuesday every Wednesday during the nineties during practices. You always thought your teammates. In today's age of social media. It would have been blown up. But that's what I'm looking like. Yes so okay. Got in a fight you know many times. I got in a fight with Dale Davis Antonio David I mean so that happens. Did you ever punch accord with Pfizer? Pfizer word yes a lot some pushing and shoving I saw columns with words Reggie well. We didn't solve problems with work afterwards. Afterwards we were talking about but sometimes you gotTa have a little tough love it so I you know when he was you know got emotional about it. You know before this dot came out. He was talking about. You know people are GonNa think they're going to the different light and they're gonNA think I'm a bad person. Yeah we all know. We all knew that I'm like so that. What made him great. I was surprised that he cared this much about being liked. Because I don't think Michael. When he played cared about being liked he wanted to be feared and he wanted to be respected. Maybe he's mellowing a little bit here where so to me if you're asking me personally. This is what I personally feel. I think that's an act. I think he could. He could care less what people think really crying. Last night was an act. That was real. That was real but I don't think he cares what what people think. That's what made him. Mj that's what made him. The black cat black black. Jesus made him. But when he goes to the hall of fame and he makes it a roast. These are all accomplished people like Mike. Never turned it off. And you can imagine hey. I'm GonNa Make Fun of Scotty. Burrell and Judd and Bill Wennington. I'm making fun of Hall of Famers to their faces. Yeah that's why I'm saying he. He can care less what people think about him because he can't turn it off because it's his DNA and that's what made them great when he says because you've never won anything that's what it is. It takes a level. You gotta go to different in dark places and he has and all key should apologize for that because he is the goat. Greatest Player of my generation of any generation and he shouldn't have to apologize for how he is wired Because he brought a lot of joy to the city of Chicago and a lot of money and a lot of people's pockets is teammates. The League So he shouldn't have to apologize for that other things. I'm sure he wishes he could have said or done differently. I'm sure that's not his DNA. But why can't he give credit where credit is due? He does it. If there's one thing I do there's ways like him laughing at at Gary Payton. That was wrong to me. That is wrong. Because there's ways he could have said yeah you know what he made me work in those two games but you know. I came back and gave it to them. There's ways he. He could've framed it. But guess what guys. That's why he has six six finals six files. Mvp and the goat right. That's why he threw shade at collide. He threw shade Dan Marley. He's throwing shade at Isaiah. I'm next next week so I mean this is what made him write it to anyone. Do you know what's going to happen next week. No idea what is going to happen if I do. WanNa know pattern of what? I've been watching. And he has killed everyone Kilo Dan Marley. He threw shade collide equally. Just laughing Gary Payton. Gary was defensive player of the Year Hall of Famer. You're right it doesn't matter. I think the only people he he probably hasn't thrown shade and maybe magic area. You know. Those guys are help. Pave the way for him but as little minions came after him. No Oh God i. There's part of me that hopes she goes after you going. But that's because you know you've got to it. He only he's going after you if you know there was really something that was going on. That's why I want people to understand him. Laughing and people like wanting to like throw shade Gary Pain. He's laughing because he knew Gary brought it and Gary Wasn't backing down Jerry one of those dudes. You could walk through an alley with right. So he's laughing out that but nj come on man he knew so again. I don't know nor do I care. But as long as at the end of the day he respected me and maybe he doesn't respect the I don't care I really don't but it was fun. Sure I will that. He respected me or didn't know that you don't care I don't care I don't care for you. I don't care if you're not. Respect is one. Think whatever so if he does if he doesn't is that going to change my life no okay and he's not to change my life saying anything negative about him. I can't remember I can't remember. I mean I WANNA don't know Hollywood you. Would you text the director tasting hair and ask if Reggie said anything mean about Michael? Oh hold on well mean or him making up stuff. You never know he. Could've I said hey you're a little late on that screen. And he it'd been like he's the worst player of all time. He thought that right so who knows in in his mind what he's thinking. I mean the whole of Radford because I do remember that any little flight you know he was going use so well. Did you say anything after a game to? Did you say like good game? I was taught? Yes but very young when I was a rookie. You know and he let me know you know. That's when the whole Jesus thing came up things I don't ever speak to black. Jesus like that. I think we first of all I mean to yourself and the third party calling yourself like Jews. I said to myself like Oh wait wait wait. Wait so set the scene where Mike refers to himself in third person. I'm a rookie mission. Game playing in one of these crazy small towns because that's where exhibition games are to kind of spread the wealth and the love of basketball. And Mike's going through the motion. You know it's an exhibition game. Who Cares I'm a rookie? I'm going one hundred and thirty miles an hour because I'm trying to show my teammates and you're going against Michael Jordan and Chuck Person Egging me on like that's Michael Jordan. Really look what you're doing to them you know he's just going through it right. You know I got ten or twelve by half. He has like two or four. I'm like just talking to them like you. You you walk on water. That's what they say this is it. This is Air Jordan. And you look at me like okay. So the second half ends with forty five so I end with ten into a twelve three Gordon..

"We made it to the final hour on this Monday in the Danettes. Dan Patrick show glad to have you. Onboard Reggie Miller will stop by and about twenty minutes. We'll talk about the last dance couple of interesting moments there. You got to see those basketball games on the set of space jam when Michael had the Michael Jordan Dome built and they had those pickup games and those were real. That was serious stuff. Reggie of course took part in that as well. So Reggie Join US coming up here in a Little Bit Zion Williamson has become the focus of the latest college basketball scandal. He's accused by a former marketing agency of taking improper benefits and accused of taking money to go to Duke. Now it's a serious case. Early stood sound serious but recent changes in college sports Makes it a little hard to be too alarmed here because we're getting closer and closer to the accepting of these benefits or you know Reggie Bush? Usc wouldn't have been punished for Reggie Bush and if you pay back the loan you know I so I don't know where what is fact. What is fiction with this? But people want these athletes to get paid. It feels like or you should be able to benefit off your likeness. There's only a couple of players who are going to be able to do this. My problem is how far does this go? How deep does this go? How much money is do they cap the amount of money you can make. Maybe there's so many questions I have with this but if Johnny Manziel wanted to capitalize on his likeness go ahead. Tim tebow wanted to capitalize. Go ahead so I on Williamson go ahead. Money is going to be there for certain players. It just is the shoe. Companies are involved in this. That's why you can remove a coach from this now. You might have to have an assistant coach. Take a bullet here. But the head coach can go. I don't know anything about it. Patino could say I don't know anything about paying a recruit one hundred thousand dollars now. Assistant coach might. But I'm assuming you probably have to get some clearance there. Hey how did we get this guy? I don't know showed up magically on campus. You know we can have outrage here. And maybe design Williamson got improper benefits. Do I think he did? Yes but do I care no? I know that you're going to say well. Boy that kind of a puritanical which we expect it out of you. I just I know it happens. And they have shoe companies that are aligned with certain schools. You're going to push them into those schools. I know what happens? Probably happens a lot more than we think and Zaylon was going to sign up as Nike client. Do Could Nike like you. Just use commonsense with this. If one of the assistant coaches at Kansas is on record as saying Hey Zion's people want some money and they want jobs in housing. Okay that's Kansas. And they're under suspicion with this but I don't. I don't know if people are going to get upset about this. I don't know if the average basketball fans going to be upset about it. I don't know if it leads to Mike chefs gear. Not I have no idea but do I think that the shoe companies steering kids towards schools. Yes I do. Yeah I do think though I read over Zion Story. And it's an accusation before it gets real and the NCAA involved. But I think a lot of people sports fans out there may think I wonder if the school he went to get the same coverage at Louisville went. Got THAT MEMPHIS GOT THAT KANSAS CALIPAR GETS. His name is thrown apart. I'm just curious if big sports networks covered duke the same way well we don't but there's a reason why we don't the other schools that you're mentioning. There is a little bit of a track record here. had this Kentucky. This would have been John. Calipari story had this been at Kansas Bill. Self Store had been at Louisville. Rick Pitino store. It's at Duke. It's a Duke Zion Williamson Story or Zion Williamson Story. So we frame it how we WANNA frame it here but do I think that All of a sudden Zion ended up at Duke. And you may want something from this school or this school but then you don't want something from that school and maybe you don't if you're not even asking the school maybe you're asking the shoe company because this is the marketing company and they say. Look Zion. Should just come clean and say that he got improper benefits. Okay now be. I was going to be the last you know because the NCAA back in the heyday of UCLA. If you really wanted to look you could've maybe you didn't WanNa look because it's John Wooden but if you wanted to look you're probably could found some things there maybe they didn't treat UCLA LV Jerry Tarr Canaan John Wooden never under suspicion we sort of frame it frame it differently yes hunt. It's one thing for young. Athlete goes to the highest bidder. Saying it's not but I think what may not sit well as all of a sudden. The uncle gets the new tractor. And the moms now on the payroll that there's some job created the school this all. This other periphery stuff. It might be better if give the kid the money. And then the kid decides what to do with the money for his family. Once family members Bob. Getting a special cries is in jobs and stuff. It just makes a lot more of what the kid money. What stops Nike from going? We're going to hire ions mom but what what stops what prevents you just. GonNa pay her. We'RE GONNA pay two hundred thousand dollar says consultant. How does he? Ncwa stopped that. And I don't know I'm asking the question I don't know the answer to but if the latest story is I got improper benefits. Did he get it from the Shoe Company? Did you get from Duke? Got It from do now. We got it now. We have some questions that need to be answered but the Shoe Company. I it happens. It's going to happen. We've allowed the shoe companies to be so important and integral part running college basketball because of the amount of money and this goes back to Sunny Carol. The Guy who signed Michael Jordan the Nike deal. He realized these coaches weren't making that much money. I'm going to give you a Lotta money but I want you wearing product. 'em Is Brilliant Marketing Brilliant. We forget all about that. But that's how it started. Sonny Vaccaro got the big east and got all those coaches and all of a sudden. Everybody is wearing nikes and the importance. And then the big east blew up and now you had to have your nikes there. Then you bring Michael Jordan and then the rest is history. Why are college basketball? Coaches paid by shoe company. Well that's been a question that's been asked and I don't know if we ever you know does the Chancellor of the president. Why does he allow that to happen right? Because should you you get salary now? You're getting an endorsement. But the kid can't get an endorsement but the coach can you pull. It is interesting. The guys who've been talking about the players that should have been paid for their work. Johnny Manziel put him on the map more than they've been in thirty years. Reggie Bush to the same thing for USC. Zion Williamson carried the entire sport of college basketball thirty one nationally televised games if anyone. That's I think there'd be no outrage because when you look at Zion we'll you see like man. I'm kind of glad he got paid for his time in college basketball. He entertained US and he took the risk and almost hurt his knee and and he was on thirty one national TV Games. Yeah I'm really shocked anymore where I go well. I didn't think that would like there's certain things that if you said cal ripken junior or Derek. Jeeter did steroids okay. I'd be surprised but there aren't many moments where I go now. I didn't see that I'm shocked at that. Because if you've been around long enough people either talked about it. They've done it. They've hidden it. Just these things have happened and the amount of money that's involved in this with college football and college basketball. What coaches make coaches? Are The stars in college basketball because players changed coaches? Stay the same. But they're the ones that make the money they make the big money here. I also saw a long article it is written by the former. Gm Mike Lombardi. He wrote for the athletic. And he says Cam Newton is too good to be a backup in. That's his problem now. He talks about That don't ever think. Nfl teams always make the common sense decisions or don't have personal agendas in place to prevent them from making smart decisions. Take the Chicago bears for example. They traded a fourth round. Pick to Jacksonville for quarterback. Nick foles they now inherit foles a contract that had seventeen million dollars in guaranteed money in two thousand twenty. They moved the guarantee into future season. So essence foles gets all the money owed to him. Bears get some relief with the cap relief. The bears get a less threatening quarterback challenger to incumbent Mitchell trubisky Cam Newton would walk into the Chicago Locker Room at every player on the team would immediately feel. He's the man. There would be no doubt from day one. Newton would endear himself to his teammates leaving trubisky with zero chance to compete which is not what the bears one they want to challenge to. Bisky but only in a kind polite way by the way of foles isn't the starter the Bulls will had themselves a very expensive backup guaranteed money. Because of the way the structure they structured his deal this year and next the bears could have easily taken Cam Newton instead of Nick foles yet. They chose comfort and familiarity. They didn't choose the better player. Mike Lombardi in the Athletic. By the way my jags are officially tanking. They brought in Mike. Glennon is the backup to Gardner. Men shoots official. It is official. We are tanking because I wondered. I thought you know what Jacksonville push the envelope a little bit. Bring in Cam Newton. They don't want to win this year. And if I'm Jacksonville Fan I get it and I would embrace it. Let's be bad. Let's be bad. Let's yes mclovin. Have we all had a moment where we thought? Wow Mike Glennon might be pretty good. I think you had a more. You're like wow my Clinton Kinda spin little bit. No when he was on Tampa. I liked him a lot. Yeah but he can throw a ball. Mike can throw a ball stop with that. I did have a Mike Glennon moment but then you realize he got. He started over Russell Wilson. And that's why Russ Transferred Wisconsin. Mike Glennon use your backup quarterback in Jacksonville. Yes Point Mike Glennon rookie with Tampa. He was nineteen touchdowns nine picks. Yeah that's as guy that's okay. Tampa would've taken that last year instead of the thirty for thirty on Jameis Winston but they do a thirty for thirty on Jameis Winston yes mclovin. Do you remember that story where Mike Glennon was invited to bears draft party? He was going to be there star..

"It really does 'cause if you can't wait in anticipation for two top fifteen to top twenty players inquiry and Katie. Something's wrong because the culture. What the nets had done you know Spencer. Dinwiddie cares laverne. These young players in the talent how hard they played in pushing Philadelphia last year. They were fun team to watch in root for and then you get these two guys come in. I mean we kind of saw a little bit in Boston with Kyrie and the turmoil they had last year and look how they're playing now you remove him for the situation and you put Kim about the point guard and it was just a mess. I'm not putting this on the shoulders of Kyri or K. D. But something just smell right. That's all I'm saying. It's not right now. No talking Reggie Miller. He's got the bucks and Celtics Thursday night at eight eastern on TNT. This Charles Barkley Draymond. Green beef feels really be well. It feels like draymond. We can't may not have a sense of humor like Charles Charles gets paid to do. This Charles is a professional at doing this role yeah and then drain on does scoreboard in says Charles has rings therefore he has no authority to be talking about basketball and Draymond is gonNA take his job dre mantra stay in his lane when it comes to that because Charles is a hall of Famer at this like he was a hall of Famer basketball Couple Emmy's Mike Right. Yeah a couple of women dream on look I think take away the basketball side of it. I think personality wise. The two are Kinda like the they both like to trip a lot and they both talk a lot of trash and I think they respect obviously respect one another but there are a lot of like How does drain on average eight points and six rebounds in a season where? There's nobody else that he has to worry about sharing the ball with but that wasn't that's not his game but again that's never been his game to average double figure points just it. Just hasn't he's he's a complimentary great player. He's a great roles hall of Famer. I think at the end of the day when it's all said and done the first dollar famer no but he will get in. He's won defensive player of the year. I don't know how many times he's been on the all defensive team he's three times you gotta take that in. He's a three time champion. Yes I think. At some point in time he will be a hall of Famer. He's not a first ballot hall of Famer like Charles. Charles numbers are Charles is one of the top twenty players. Maybe we'll time but who would you rather handle Draymond Green Rodman? Are you kidding me? Give me that worm. No yes Rodman heartbeat. If you if you gave me Dennis Rodman with the Pistons. I'd take that all day because that guy was give me Dennis Rodman with the bull to the he do he He guarded are ballboys. He got everybody. He was guarding. Larry Bird during that series and Larry. Legend was coaching. He was all dennis was a little different. When he got later in his career with the Bulls when he would rebound was about it but he he had he had a run there where when he was with the Pistons and he was guarding he he was a pogo stick up and down the floor but I will also say this because people forget about this time of did it in Charleston because they always just thought of the crazy hair and the whole Madonna thing when he was with San Antonio for a couple years. Just look at the numbers. They were ridiculous when he was next to the admiral as well he did a lot of stuff off the court that was just like bizarre but numbers wise when he was in San Antonio it was crazy as well nineteen rebounds one year. That's pretty good. Asher question again I would take Dennis Rodman. Yeah I'd take a leave you with this. The most assist from one player to another since the middle of January which I would say Lebron's eighty Lebron. Ad is fourth on the list. I would say lucrative for thinks nope okay. I would say you'll be surprised at WHO's one on this. You won't be okay. How about this a? West or East Coast Conference East Coast for the top. Okay East Coast for the top would be Jaanus to Middleton Nope trae young to John Collins. Seventy to assist. Don't sleep on that Combo second on the list. Lonzo Ball to Zion. Oh time yet ball has assisted on fifty seven of Zion. Williamson's field goals to are one into since mid January and then it's Marquel foltz and and and a nickel love each. Wow and then ricky rubio in Andrei aiden. Okay all this all this right now media stats right now. Theodore. No have you seen Lonzo Miami? Live my boy. Lonzo ball is back. He's been playing he's been he's been balling lights out. He get they get that playoff spot. Then they'll be back. I don't think they're getting that but the IT I know I. I don't think they're getting that but they shouldn't be trying to get that if it happens. Great their goal is just to get to know each other this year and figure out take inventory so they're ready to go next year but Lonzo ball those alleyoop design on Okay I just saying maybe young again John Collins. Wow you need to have your stamps department. Step up their game a little bit here. Play.

That's what I was saying. I know all right here you go. He's one of the best shooters of all time. I can say that with no pretense but on the other side of the ball. My man never played defense. "Like thirty five seconds left Pacers somebody but he misses rebound goes off. I think if they review it. I actually think it's Bucks Bah Pacers Baugh go around. They're trying to get a reggie. They can't find it goes to Jalen slices is in goes to Travis. Best in the Corner Chavez best buries a corner trade best I Miss Travis. We miss his corner three. They're up two bucks go in they Miss Ervin Janse rebound fouled misses the first makes the second and then they freeze and forget the vowel Reggie and Adam losing but that game is really good like that that has definitely like a loss classic and then we mentioned the Oh to New Jersey game. What else does age the best for you? Anything that will the eight points and nine seconds. Obviously as like. That's legend banking right there. That's that's gotTa be first place on the line. You're not gonna like I have that. Come on you're not like my thoughts. Okay Yeah I here's here's one as the best for me and this is like a very specific thing thing that I didn't even notice until I re watched the clips on Youtube was one thousand nine hundred eighty eight that nick series they love so much yes thirty eight against the Knicks in game four four and he hits the three to send the game into overtime he they missed the first shot. The ball gets battered around gets knocked out I think it goes to like a bulldozers Both series next ninety s against the Knicks. Okay Ninety Eight. This is against the next game for The bogus swung around and Reggie ends up wide open wide open. Just there's nobody within seven feet of him they show it they show from like the opposite end of the court. So you're looking at Reggie's back as he goes up to shoot and unripe pass Reggie and like that first group of stance you see this woman. WHO's cheering because they missed the first shot? They're showing this much. She's like Yes yes. The boggles batted around. She sees it go to Reggie and when she looks at Reggie and sees that it's him you could see a very clear he goes no action movie. It's a slow motion. He comes up with that beautiful shot and she's watching in the splash zone. I love that clip. I love this summer. You could ask about action movies. You can inspire that kind of fear in somebody's right before you even let the ball go like good point. Steph is the same sort of way as soon as you're like fuck because you it's go in as he may. He missed that three in game six in the finals. The got him a good shot and just the one that just happened when Toronto one. Yeah couldn't believe leave. It didn't go in. Everybody thought it was going. What is soon as he gets a little bit of space to get it off like this is going in this guy? Bird had the greatest one of all time of those which one game for junior skyhook game. Oh Yeah and they order and I went into that corner role about book rattles out. He pushes off. It gets opened in the corner and I was like dead on online with it. I still don't know how they're going. And you're at that game. I was at that game sitting in the seat that game. They all walk by the tunnel. And you see me with like this during the events. Yeah anything else. Age the best for reporter make you mad again His haircut unlike his haircuts Caplis the flattop would sage the whereas the Pacers uniforms in the mid-nineties some reflux. No Yeah I was GONNA make you bad way. Which one are you talking about all of them? Not all of them there are. There are awful the dark blue with the stripes with Isabelle era for white no absolutely cavs jazz uniforms ones. But is this I think the eight points in nine seconds. Okay here's my case. I'm going to leave. Twenty twenty two twenty two foot three point lead. It's basically like he's a junior high school three point line for the two threes. You know that rule in general when they shortened it. I said that it was probably the most memorable. We didn't think this through panic scenic rule that they've ever made other than the one where after the tests may they made the. You can't leave the bench role after Miami where that then didn't account for Amare Camara being upset that Steve. Nash just got whipped into the scores table and took. We should talk talk about that. We should talk about. No we just talk about heating your whipped into. He acted he was cloud. Robert Horry assaulted them. Should be Robert Ory jail. GUASTA class. You'd be in jail. Claire Robert Ory bumps them national up some. Yeah he bumps him with us like with his hip not even all full body. Just a little boom Steve Nash. Running by boat. Knock some Nash to his credit very smartly dives into the fucking Canadian dive in the side and then besides that besides he hits it and then he throws both of his arms back and falls and of course not let you think he got killed his salted outed. That's what happens. I got so that three point line was terrible. The push off for this for this before the second three When he shoves the title barely touches them he barely issue Straw? Right to your the Dick's doing that. That was the one where Was Derek Harper was supposed to be the guy who like inbounds the ball for them and he was out of the game. Anthony Mason ends up with it. Who apparently was they're worse than the other thing to me? It's like all right. He scored eight points and nine seconds the last two free interest unfathomable to me. That's almost it should be remembered more as an unbelievable choke job by the Knicks. Because they leave Reggie wide open for the first three. Here's an idea guard. Reggie Miller the best three point shooter in the week when you can make twenty feet. They throw the ball right to him for the second. Take care you should shoot another one starts gets fouled. Now it's a tie game. It went from one. Five Ninety nine to tie game timeout Knicks had the ball all starts gets fouled Mrs both readers big time you and gets the rebound for the second one. Has A ten foot shot. Misses it the back Reggie she biller. Who couldn't rebound to save his life somehow gets the rebound and they fucking foul Reggie Miller? Yes he pacers. Go Up to time out now. What's our play here? Let's run this one. Let's run Greg. Anthony Greg Anthony A left-hander dribbling to his rate and then just falling down all roll out of bounds sounds came over. It's unbelievable it was a big. I remember that were as the Knicks choke and then they joked that game seventy s a big choke but listen all of the things. You're saying all your criticisms and I'm I'm GonNa say this as nicely as possible. They're stupid they're stupid. You can't get mad that Reggie pushed a new New York Knicks when they're out there fucking clubbing people in the chest with sledgehammer He caused the ball in like anybody else. They catch that ball they they go to the rim immediately true or false two of his most three famous threes. He pushed off true. Okay Jordan one in the second. Can't I'm just throwing this in what age the worst. MJ Once when they were really going at it. M J insulted him by saying that Miller's hands on defense made him feel like playing were Ma- made playing him feel like quote a chicken fighting with the women. Everybody got mad. And this is like the way prio. Kerr sound like people were defensive in in the mid nineties his pupil like wait. You can't say that I'm Jay. And he had to. I think apologised Ninety six Dream Team. The starters were shacked Barclay. Pippen Penny Mitch Richmond. That as the worst Reggie has to be starting on that I think that's a bridge You can't deny this. He invented the. I'm kick my legs out to try to get a call move. Yes that's terrible that's led to a lot of dumb shit more. That's a lot of terrible things over the past twenty five years is this is. I'M GONNA outsmart. I'm going to do everything I can't if me and you get into a fight you're like what six inches taller than me me. And you start fighting right now. I'm going to pick up that way behind and I'm GonNa Bugging Bash you in in the head with it because it's going to happen to the you have to do what you have to do to get whatever advantage you can like. Are we going to be mad at him that he was saying support sheeting mean. Thanks nerd corner do you know what the forty seven thirty seven eighty seven clubs who who on planet earth decide. You knows that you just made it up. I made it up. I literally made it up. It's a club that I've made up eight guys. Seven hundred game minute. Minimum Forty seven percents thirty seven percent three point eighty seven percent free throw so it's almost fifty four nine because there's no career fifty forty thirty nine guys now. So this is the coast at forty seven. Thirty seven. Eighty seven Larry Bird Jeff. Hornacek Kevin Durant Steve Nash. Mark Price Dirk Lewinsky. Reggie Miller and one party crasher. Jose Calderon Jose Calderon. Shoot that ball. Those are the only guys ever forty seven hundred seventy seven get seven hundred games Next category was he one of one in other words. I don't think we can see him again because basketball is so much different than it was back. You mentioned before how the whole team was set up. Let's just let Reggie run twelve miles a game and we're going to set a bunch of picks forum and get him as many threes as we can't like we're not going to see it again now we won't see and then you gotta he's gotTa he's gotTa be He's gotTa be trashed off. Right now not actually playing basketball. It's going to be this whole generation of Reggie Miller's one of them were crossover All right we disagree. That unintentional. Comedy wrinkle the Cheryl chance. Were pretty funny there for a couple years that that was like ways the crowds thought they could get under skin by saying his sister's name right some bad heckling. Yeah it's like not very really Reggie's like well. I was playing pretty well. Oh but then they started changing my sister's name and it just threw me off. This is like what were we thinking. It's been a while since LeBron James had a summer off
"Another thing that's going on in the sports world that hasn't happened in a long time. And that is LeBron James is not going to be in the playoffs. People. Not not. I'm not saying he's not gonna be in the finals. He's not going to be in the playoffs in the playoffs might you? Remember, what was going on in the world last time? Lebron wasn't in the playoffs. Man. I probably have some hair on my head. It was a little slimmer. I can't will what what was the LeBron year last time. He. Two thousand and five five was the last time. I just moved to Indianapolis the last time LeBron James Mr. playoffs and that was Reggie Miller's last season. Two thousand and five Reggie Miller. The hall of fame now debt is a long time. But here's a real question. Are you surprise LeBron? And the Lakers missed the playoffs. If you would've asked me before the season, I would have said like they'll make the playoffs. I felt like they would've made made the playoffs and before LeBron's injury. They were doing pretty well. And it looked like it was heading that route. And then when LeBron came back, and you had Anthony Davis say y'all I'm out of New Orleans. I want trade, and then you had all the trade stuff kind of league. That's always straight downhills last one. It was all over and at that point as said, there's no way like this team from a mental standpoint is just done, and you even saw like the way LeBron was playing and kinda handling things that seemed like he was a little bit over it as well. I I don't necessarily blame. Lebron? You know for not making the playoffs because listen he's one of the best players to ever play. An actually still believe he plays at a really high level. I blame Dale damps. Former general manager of the pelicans because he did one of the greatest moves I've ever seen in sports after having a player try to force his way to another team while the season was going on. And while he was under contract. Dale Deb's allegedly. I'm using air quotations to because we don't know this is this is just allegedly right? Leaked a bunch of trade. Rumors in destroyed the Lakers lack room from within. It was beautiful. It was absolutely beautiful. So I blame Dale dips for the reason. The Lakers have not made the playoffs this year. Well, I you know, when all those trade rumors were going on. I took my seven year old son to the Pacers Lakers game. And that was in, you know, right before days before the trade deadline, and I told my son I said, you know, what I said it. It's Tuesday night. You got school tomorrow? We'll stay to the end of the third quarter. And of course, he was upset about it. He's like I want to say vogue, and I want to say the whole game. The fans here in Indy. Every time somebody wants to the to the free throw with coups, Mark McGhee or land. Stevenson, the crowd chanted the bra wants to trade you the bra was it was great. And that was a game where LeBron suffered the worst loss of his NBA career lost by forty two points dinner, third quarter. My son said dad, we can leave now four thirty. He felt good that the patients are gonna win the game. But you're you're right. When all that stuff went down. They went downhill they day completely just the young players were mentally weak in could not handle the outside distractions. They couldn't just focus on basketball. You got you got your homeboys your friends of families all in years. Hey, you get trae. Lebron doesn't think you're good enough? The Brown was Anthony Davis. And that plays that plays mind games on you. That's a minor thing. But again going back to the original question when the season started. I think yeah, come LeBron James is not missing the playoffs. They're not going to be one of the top season. Wes, but any team LeBron James on his should be good enough to make the playoffs. Yeah. Whenever he hits those boys got into the fetal position to

Randy Moss rode big-play ability all the way to Hall of Fame
"Randy moss is a, I first bottle hall of fame. My colleague here is very proud of him. He deserves it out of voter him in the first ballot hall of fame as well. But if we're going to use the criteria to keep te'o Al. How do we justify doing that for Randy moss who literally admitted he played when he wanted to. Te'o played heart all the time. There were times and Oakland. Randy moss admitted. He took off. Because he was frustrated, played hard in England played hard in Minnesota. Wasn't the case in Oakland. What about that. See. That kind of up and down mood econo- stuff has no place in voting when it comes to the hall of fame. Your level of production matters. For example, there are people who say, Chris Weber's a hall of Famer in the NBA look at his numbers. I would say to you is damn show a hall of fame if we talk and fat five. But we talk an MBA career yet a numbers might be, you know what? I remember. I remember ready for this new knowing cat. I remember how to basketball was a hot potato for him when they were in the Western Conference finals against the Lakers and he couldn't give that ball up to Mike Bibby soon enough. That's what I remember. Reggie Miller never went to an NBA finals, but dad brother always wanted to ball. That's not what I saw over Chris Webber. It's not what I do. Numbers watch Shoygu deserves. It still was short deserves. It. What he accomplished in college Shoygu deserves. That's too many moments. When the franchise face the star of the team on the NBA level, not college basketball, NPA level one, no parts that basketball and thank God. He had Mike Bibby and pages to yackobitz and to a lesser degree Vladivostok. I remember. Would the dog Christie's in the world. I remember. So those kind of things that I'm talking about. Got to be about production. It can't be about emotion. And that's why support te'o in that it eight say ESPN. It's inundate seven to nine, three, seven, seven, six thing I want to touch on real quick before the calls is this new NFL rule where you're getting penalized, teen, y'all penalty of for leading with your helmet. I got no problem with it. If you're talking about avoiding launching your head and being like a missile. But I saw the the the penalty call last night by fichus were guys extending the on and trying to lead in it with their shoulder, but ended up their head. You know, the the head ended up touching the body. I something you know what the problem with that is, do y'all know that the hit the Anthony ball put on my man, Aaron Rodgers last year? Do you know that would be a penalty? That is utterly ridiculous. There is nothing illegal or de legitimate about that hit. That is preposterous. Absolutely. No place for it. And I'm here to tell you. Here. The biggest reason why Yasha hate this rule. It's going to delay the game more. Gonna late, the late the game more. As if we don't have enough time spent with the game being delayed because all of these damn penalties. Understanding trying to make the game safer, but dammit, there's a risk that comes with it either planet or you're not. I think the NFL's got this wrong. Aides say he has been seven to nine, three, seven, seven, six to the phones. We go trae you live, Stephen, what's going on with your even. Good. Thank you..
