"So it's like, it goes to show doing that stuff is certainly worth your time and your investment and stuff like that. But it's crazy how the PGA Tour so archaic with stuff. But I'll tell you my badge this year. I now have a pee on it so I can go into the practice area last year I couldn't so that's a big step. Yeah. But even like Reggie Bush was out there and we share he has his agent, but he also has like a guy that wraps me that in the golf business that he's also helping Reggie a little bit because Reggie's really obsessed with golf. And I shot so when I was out there, my agent was like, hey, can you help get some content for Reggie? And I'm like, I don't know, man. I'm like, I'm there for Jason. If I have time and it works out, I will for sure. Well, it turned out they played the game. So I was like, well, shit, this is easy. And so I was like being very careful because even Reggie, who's probably the arguably one of the best, if not the best college football player ever. And your football legend, like, and Jason and him were interacting like awesome the whole time. Jason's giving him tips and good back and forth. I'm being careful as I shoot Reggie because he has rules. He can't post certain things for him to share. But at the same time, it's like, you know people who follow Reggie Bush like they like worship Reggie Bush. They love Reggie Bush. And also there may be some people who follow Reggie that never thought about getting into golf, but they could see that Reggie's obviously addicted to it. So he could bring in a ton of new people into the sport and like it's just ridiculous, but like we were able to cut something up, I thought was good. That he posted, but at the end of the day, it's like the PGA Tour needs to think bigger. You know, they need to think like, how can we let these athletes for these creators come in and give them what they

"If you could do one and just one. You could either give Reggie Bush back as Heisman and reinstate him as the 2005 winner. Or you could put Pete Rose in the baseball on the baseball Hall of Fame ballot. So on the ballot. On the ballot. Okay. Yes, Paul. My rationale there is that Pete Rose was banned from baseball. The baseball Hall of Fame chose to follow the lead. They are under no obligation to leave Pete Rose or put him on the ballot, but they chose to. There's no rule that Pete Rose broke that takes you off the Hall of Fame ballot. There's no wording. They chose to do it. The college football Hall of Fame chose to ignore Reggie bush's NCA violations and put him in the Hall of Fame as they you could say should because they're not the NCAA. They're a separate entity called the college football Hall of Fame. They're a museum. Like the baseball Hall of Fame is a museum. It's very similar cases. They both have transgressions that haven't gone away. But the college football Hall of Fame didn't keep him off the ballot. Yeah, but Reggie is welcome back to USC. There was a ten year period where there couldn't be any association there. Even that's kind of similar. Like baseball does not have a ten year period, even though some people think they should with Pete rose. Well, Pete got a lifetime ban, but Reggie is now back. I don't know if it's the good graces, but he's welcome back to USC. He's going into the college football Hall of Fame. They are far more lenient when it comes to players or coaches who came under NCIA violations. Yes, but how do you, how is he in the Hall of Fame when his wins were vacated? But those are the wins that are helping him get into the Hall of Fame. Of well, his stats are still there. No, not really. It's like he didn't exist. It's like he didn't exist to the NCAA. Reggie bush's college career is all of it, not just that one season is considered damaged goods. To the NCA. And their rule books. Okay, but then if you're the college football Hall of Fame, what numbers are you going on since those numbers don't exist? Or they're saying they're leading the charge like, hey, Reggie bush's violation from years ago would be completely legal now. Well, he didn't pay these people back. That's where the problem started. The entire violation. So if you got NIL money, I don't even know how that would work now, because it's so different. But he didn't pay back, therefore it went public, then they found out that you're buying Reggie's parents a house, a car, whatever. And then USC paid the price, yes, Paul. In the era of the past two years, there's been a lot of posts and tweets, and even Reggie Bush is engaged about I like my Heisman back now because all the stuff I did is completely green lit. But the Heisman Trophy trust has never responded to this. If you look at the Heisman Trophy website, there's no person listed for O 5.

"Cringe Wilson? And Pete Carroll should they, that's still unforgivable. Well, forgivable. Unforgiving. I do have another one. And it's kind of sort of because he's my little brother. But come on, people. Giving back his Heisman. He's all over Wendy's. Now he's got the pretzel, the burger. Give Reggie Bush. Picture him, flip it into the end zone. You can't take the memories away. And if you can't take the memories away, give him back the damn trophy. He can't take it away. Who cares? Now keep that players. Again, much like the gambling thing with Peter rose. Now that players are allowed to get money, I almost feel like, you know, these punishments sound more ridiculous. Like someone sitting in jail for smoking weed. Now it's like everyone's smoking weed on the streets. That part and you Reggie Bush. I pardoned Reggie Bush too. I'm with you. You know, my mom of all people hit me up. I guess she's listening. Happy Thanksgiving Steven, are you watching the parade? Even the parade zone. You're missing Snoopy. You're missing Ronald McDonald. She says, she said she doesn't know the backstory. She goes, does Tanya Harding deserve a pardon? What was her involvement with gillooly in those goons though? You know what I mean? Did she know they were going to do that? I forget the details. The movie was good. She didn't hit anybody in the leg. She didn't hit Kerrigan and the legs are. Those goons that he hired did. But I don't know, I don't remember her actual involvement in knowledge of the moment. I don't know, man. Is she still showed up for her time to go on the ice? You know what y'all? Controversial pardon right there. I don't know if I could do it. I'll be controversial and say that I just think Tanya Harding to ultimate competitor. Got to do what you got to do. I don't know. Not everyone's deserving. Now it was deserted. Let's take one or two more. Big competitor. 8, 7, 7, 99 on Fox is the number if you want to call and see what's up. And again, this continues on our social media at covino and rich. That's not terrible. The ultimate competitor. Nancy Kerrigan. What did donya Nancy Kerrigan was just laying there? She was like, wow. Wow.

It didn't seem like anyone had any idea about this. And i heard you guys talking about in the warm up show. You did make one slight factual error on the norm macdonald. Only one so it was. It wasn't reggie bush. He was talking about so it was the nineteen ninety eight. Sp's monologue that he was giving norm macdonald. Which is if you go back and watch that now. Nobody would ever be able to do that again. And it was charles woodson. Who had just won the heisman. Any go in his final joke of the monologue was charles woodson his hair trials where we stand up. "All right. looks like we lost coach. There he was on face. Time with us coaches great to speak to oklahoma state basketball coach. mike boynton. Overstate is a place that you can go to have success right. And the people don't people don't over over could be a number one overall pick and think about coach. Mike boyne right oklahoma. Say you don't think oklahoma state premier basketball program or say you think football more often than not but this coach said. Hey you don't always have to go to the dukes to the north carolina's or to the kentucky's you can come to a place like oklahoma state and still be number one overall. I think that sends a powerful message especially bart to your question of all the conference. Realignment and the super conferences at nfl. And all this money. Sometimes it's not always about going to that top school. I know i hadn't experienced rag offered. I'm sure you've got offers from everywhere. But i got offer from usc. At that point they were the number one school in football right. Reggie bush matt line or whatever and i said no and granted i went to texas. Which should be usc but like but at the same time like you don't always remember lopes in texas. Just big ones usc. Nobody nobody. But i i just love that point that he like humility right he talked about. Hey i don't like the comparison game the media. We love the comparison. What we have to decide what we do something to refer to people who are parachute fans to kind of understand what they're looking at. Yeah but i love how he said man like. I understand how they make the comparison but he was honest. He said we worked on his three point shooting. He's more of a passer than he is a score like a jason so i really respect coach boy and thank you for coming on and and yeah i love perspective. You can come to a place like oklahoma state player development to yes. We got guys who have basketball accurate. Who can develop your game and can take you to the next level. You don't have to go to these big schools. You may not get opportunity as some of these schools. You come here. we're gonna develop you. We're going to plug on these holes. All players out. That was oklahoma state coach. Mike boyne did a great.

"Carson palmer heisman trophy winner number one overall. Pick jameis winston heisman trophy winner number one overall draft pick. Tom brady obviously the go. But like bruce. Arians drafted logan thomas. Who was so bad at quarterback but he didn't even end up playing the position professionally. Nfl but speaking of players who were quarterbacks to start the charisma nfl member showers former safety for the dallas cowboys A but he warned when he wore number twenty eight when he Flipped from quarterback to safety and the reason that's applicable is in the exact moment that we are talking recording me. Hooker has walked out onto the practice field for the dallas cowboys. Oxnard wearing number twenty eight. So while it's not it's still like again at this exact moment issue in the jersey. He's out there. I'm just looking at this tweet from john. Michaud to the letter. He's wearing number. Twenty eight so Just like he's making showers pratt. And i actually used to hate the real showers hogged twenty. It's such a great safety number. And he was never he just hogged it on the practice squad forever So thankfully me hooker can make a great again but anyway the giants Before we get into near discussion everybody had to biglou dot com. Ed valentine the main man over there had a exclusive. Sit down interview with new york. Giants head coach. Joe judge it is. It's also like fantastically put together I will also speak for belgium here like on the back end and we have to put articles together like ed made this pretty. I mean like it looks good and so he did an incredible job here with joe. Judge shot to add a. Would you sit down with doj for thirty minutes. Sure i this talk about how. What a shame. It is that The eagles didn't try to go out to win and help the six win. Giants make the playoffs. I could just spend some time doing that. Our favorite part of that interview with it. I mean i really found. Joe judge to be humble. Which is i mean. But we need edsa humble guy. So like ed's writing the kind of came through and reflect. What about you. Say personal very personable. More than i expected. I think it's easy to think about. Gioja does like a robot because he's from the dollar tree and all the stuff that came out last year remember. How big of a topic to judge last year in training camp with all like the and like feld. Everybody freaked out. Yeah that's the kind of stuff that the giants were doing. All of a sudden they came out. And i think i was talking to ed about that. Recently about some the restrictions are still kind of strict rubio's stats member who anyway Yeah so get interview. Definitely check it out The biggest thing that i've seen though coming out of the giants so far still is sacred and we talked about on last week's episode like things to watch but Seems like the giants are taking it. Slow which i guess again has sam offense to it. You don't need the russia in theory. But i also think that if you need to take it slow it's not just because you're being like a hundred percent cautious and it's because there is some kind of underlying concern here so saquon did start camp on the publicist. Which isn't my cause for panic. Like i'm not trying to play that game but every player. Every injury is different but look prescott who. I think you would agree. Among all players who are injured last season suffered one of the most gruesome injuries that we saw fair. Okay he's back not only back. He was back for minicamp. You know what i mean. He's back he's moving. He's fully operational. Everything's blake darwin toys. Acl in week one last year did not start camp on the public for the and again every players different. But just let's where my brain goes actually compared to those things and so saquon starting on the pup list does not feel encouraging. Okay i have. I know everybody cares about my fantasy league. My league record. This is our twelve season We keep relief. And i don't know if i should keep dale henderson or not. I'm really talking about this. But that's a whole different subject. But i have the number one overall pick and saquon. Not even anywhere near contention for me. I i would not want to touch this ten foot pole. I hope he comes back. Because i want. I want the giants. If you've got. I want the cowboys to beat them on. I think say kwanzaa. I think he's a great player. I wanna see that but this this does not feel encouraging to me as that. An overreaction or not in your mind. I think when they're things like this. I'm always of the belief that there is something to this. I'm usually the the belief that there's never nothing like a lot of people. Think like to say oh the media over blowing it. It's nothing like you were saying. This aaron rodgers. It clearly was not nothing like he came back to the packers because there were concessions made or at least is being reported by espn. But i think schefter even said like schefter said last night that like rogers was planning to skip out on camp prior to these concessions being made. So it's a different kind of thing. But i think for the giants to be again so off. Just overly cautious even with this and saquon kind of dispute..

Until then i did not know that she exists not offensive. But that's not the college records she was she was looking out. She has a nice bugs. She's forty four. Almost nothing is retroactive. Because it's too difficult to go back and look at every case over. Get right so normally. We got screwed. You get screwed. Sorry that's has got way. "On. The football field is why to heisman. Not based on something that someone saying he got an extra benefits. That's not why one heisman. He wanted because he broke records. He won't because he was the most electrifying dominant football player at that time that we've seen so he deserves it. One hundred percent and usc might university my athletic department to get involved in contacting his see to the heisman trophy committee and let them know. Send us a new shiny reggie bush's name on it period. I can't believe i'm doing this. But i'm going to say no man. What are you talking now. No oh of course just talking about what we do that we make limit by fat mouth. That's what we do from that standpoint. And i understand the whole situation about how. He wanted the heisman on the field. I get it. I understand that but then when does it stop when are we. Are we going to continue to play revisionist history because the ncwa phony amateurism by j reynolds jay bilas said excuse me coney and all that stuff whatever the vagueness is this whole situation the fact that a matter is we're having this conversation because the reloaded. Nfl at the nfl was not in place. I don't believe we'd be having this groundswell of support saying that reggie. Bush should get his heisman back. He's this should never took you from me. I get it. But i understand that. But this conversation is ramping up even more because of what's happening in two thousand and twenty one. Not what happened back then. Whatever we believe about reggie bush wherever we believe whatever we believe something improper or proper went on whatever that is the fact that a matter is the go back in history and the right some wrong then when does it end it then. It's not going to end. Because i know from somebody else. I'm thinking well. That point was taken away from me in the game. Why don't you give that back to me. I think it's opening up too much of a pandora's box that once you go down that slope then there's no coming back from it because it's not just a right or wrong here or wrong was committed china right that wrong to me. It's a little bit bigger than that. That's why the i l's in place because we couldn't do that back then. We couldn't do that for the keyshawn johnson book and other people do it now and go back in the past and i don't think you can do that when it comes to reggie bush getting freddie it's a case by case basis you're talking about somebody wants to point back because of this. Yeah somebody wants to get record back because of that. We're talking about taking a piece of hardware away from an individual that performed on the field off the field stuff had nothing to do with this nothing at all. Not one being at all. If you wanted to punish reggie bush for off to feel that behavior. Whatever you wanna call it. That's fine this award is about being on the field. You don't get a war for having the most endorsements as a college athlete. You don't get a reward for having made the most money off the field as a college athlete. Get this award. Because you performed at the highest level of anybody at the point in time in which you played against for doing that time period. That's how you win the heisman. Keyshawn i get it but whether we liked the rules or not according to the nc double a. Like i said. I can't believe i'm saying this because i'm not an ncwa fan but according to nc double a certain rules would violate or rules. Violate in this situation. That will affect your status on a football field or basketball court or baseball field. I don't like the rules either. I couldn't stand those. I didn't like the athletes. Were not getting me ask you. So let me ask you this. Do freddie so how can the nc two a. in the heisman committee Go retroactive to take the heisman back. Because remember reggie push plate that junior year. It was playing on the field. It doing everything that he needed to do. While under investigation in the in in the end the season was over. He wins the heisman while still under investigation. But it's okay for the nc two way to go and be retroactive. Take the is meant but it's not okay to go retroactive. Give it back. Because this is this'll be on. Ncwa matter because the i l's outside the ncw. Now that's why we're having this conversation based on what's going on twenty twenty one. If i had my way he would have never lost the heisman. To begin with it would never been taken away. But the fact that america is it was because according to ncwa rules back then he violated those rules and it affected his status on the football field. Is it unfair to have that apply to him. Absolutely but those are the rules in place key and i hate those rules in place but if you violate those rules he was not the only one that got punished by the nc double a. In this case he got pundits because he lost the best trophy in college football one of the best sports when it comes to the heisman trophy but all of a sudden go back. Now i'm with you. I hear it with the retroactive stuff. The instinct w is it unfair organization in an unfair world. Reggie bush get his heisman back but the reason that this conversation is happening is because what the ncwa did not do all these years and we didn't. We tried to hold them accountable. But the two problem institution to be held accountable now. Their power strokes is crumbling at. It's crumbling at their feet right now and now. Everybody wants to get their prizes back. It's going to be very hard to just placate everybody in the case by case business. We don't have that kind time in our lifetime and make sure that it's not that hard. Get the damn trophy back. It's simple can you much like usc. Our university reggie. Bush has to stay away from the university right a new president. We got a new athletic director alone matt line and other athletes with the us. Say yo reggie. Bush is part of our family. Go to the nc two way let they ask. No that reggie bush could come around our university. It'd be a part of our program again to do that. Get the trophy. But this is a different deal. Because you're talking about deal with the heisman trophy comedians. He aa do you not hard as the push things to the nc double they can nc double a. That hard if you want to do it if you want to do. But the nc double a. is like the mafia if they don't want you to get involved in something to protect their interest they're gonna make it that much harder for you. They're going to try to outlast you more than anything else. That's what they're counting on in this situation. That they're gonna outlast. They're going gonna try to do the same thing. Reggie bush that major league baseball. It's done the pete. Rose hoping that. Pete rose get outlast where he won't try to cry about being in the baseball hall of fame for committing a wrong. Reggie bush committed a wrong according to ncwa rules to back in time to give us heisman back. I hate them side of the nc double a. But he's not get his heisman back because he did something. I know somebody here. I'm sure plenty of players who have done things wrong. Even recently johnny manziel admitted that he took money while at texas am after his heisman. Trophy back to is reggie. Bush is the only heisman winner to have his trophy. Vacated even oj simpson. Didn't lose his heisman trophy. So look for up to me. Give the man trophy back. I think there have been far worse. Wrongs that have been have been done in it. I think but when you know somebody. Charlie that can make a duplicate for him. Don't worry okay you guys done. This is the origin hausky. "Would presume you might have some love for Reggie Bush. Maybe one of those. I'm just I'm just guessing along the way. Reggie Bush wants his Heisman back, and realistically, he wants his Heisman back because, remember, it was taken from him as part of the punishment for what was perceived as improper benefits. And so now he's come back and said he wants it back. His people have received essentially a good for you. That's cute, sort of response. Nobody seems to want to help Should Reggie Bush Get his Heisman Trophy back. I mean, they should have never taken in in the first place. We all saw Reggie Bush on the field, and we all saw exactly what Reggie Bush did in college. Okay, so you you get your taking his Heisman from him to begin with. And when that first happened, I told Reggie I said, Man, if I was you, the first thing I would do As I chop that thing up to 1000 pieces, put it in the USPS box. There you go and send it back with a letter with some other stuff in that letter to you have to have to cut up the Heisman. That's my real followers. Solid. Okay, so I do because the N C two A's stupid. You know it. Just other players have gotten themselves in the situations in the past, and they won awards and they didn't take their stuff back. But this was a deeper this was just deeper. What happened to us. See, at that time it was deeper than just Reggie Bush. It has something to do with the U. S. C. The program that the the way we will have to swag. It was just a whole different level. If Bush they should give him his records back. You know, he's been invited now back to the university because he was bad from the university. That was part of the whole agreement that the the university obliged that partner to the N C. Double a man I think I think the university went back to the N C. Two. A's got it before the President University Athletic Department kind of was like We didn't want to touch it after we signed off on it to get rid of Reggie to have him not be apart, affiliated with the university program. They kind of went away from it, but then his good teammate in that line of helped engineer Uh, everything to get. You know, people get the peace agreement. Basically with the university University goes back to the N C too late, and they figured it out. Listen, they should give it back to him. 100% because we saw it with our own. Damn it. We're going to go back then. And like, Yes, all the vacated everything. We're just going to do everything. Everybody give it all back. You might as well Just give it. Yeah, you might say, Well, why not? Here's the thing When you know better you begin to do better, right? And I'm not going to say that Reggie was ahead of his time and was a leader right in this space At the time it was violations. However, you cannot negate two keys point what we all saw, And now that we are acknowledging that the structure of the N C double a Being forced to the Supreme Court is acknowledging the structure of the N C double. A as is was not acceptable. We can't do this moving forward. If the is sincere, they would take this step because it says, we've learned that we want to be better movie and they're not going to do that. They're not going to not going to. They're not going to admit to wrong. It is difficult, though, because the rule existed at the time. And look what we're asking the answer to be more progressive that we are as a country like I'll always go. And this is state by state. They're still working this out. But like as somebody I've always been very Open. My brother served a lot of time for possession with the intent to distribute. Now, many of the things that he was in jail for are no longer illegal. The process of trying to get that off. Your record is not cut and dry in every state. So we're asking the N C. Double A to be actually more progressive than our entire national judicial system is like that. But that's asking a lot, isn't it Isn't it doesn't even if you don't formally go through. We have this trophy make a statement say we have now reviewed our standards are practices with the changing times. We acknowledge that this was one of the more high profile examples of where we missed the mark. Give me something. Give me sparing. You know what I mean? They they went after that they went after Reggie Bush again. Because they went after our university and they didn't like the way we did things it because Reggie Bush Wasn't receiving Improper benefits from the university. I promise you. It was not from the university and Reggie Bush was not allegedly receiving improper benefits from a company. Because of his name, likeness and image. This was all something for projections. In the future when he got to the National Football League. It wasn't about College. It wasn't about college. Everything Reggie did on the field. We saw Okay, So why would you want to strip his? You think giving him allegedly. I'd like to say that you think giving him $100 or whatever the number was. May Reggie Bush go for 250 yards in a game? No, but realistically, I mean, where do we draw the line? So I'll go back to my fandom as a kid. I grew up at UNLV fan, right? Grew up in Vegas or you the Oh, man Now I grew up in the raw, right, right. I grew up, Okay? I grew up in the Stacey Augmon. Larry Johnson like football, So I wanted to make sure you're talking about basketball. But let's look at that running Rebels team that won a national championship one of 3 73 over Duke. Thank you, and then lost it next year in the undefeated season like that team. Was just that program was destroyed, largely because of investigations about guys taking improper benefits. You mean like that? Carve it, I guess well or like the picture on the newspaper of them with like a known like gambling, But all of those, you start looking back at it and our programs they're going to start looking at and say, Well, you gave us these penalties and look at the revenue lost and now we're going to turn around and say You owe us something like Where does the line fall to me? And that's why I said It may not be done and probably will not be done. Truly. Heisman is probably not showing up at Reggie's house, but acknowledging some of our bigger high profile missteps to me in good faith. Now, that may not be enough for Reggie very rarely. What we saw him play. We know he won the Heisman. We know we saw with our own right. What? What's a vicious point about where the line is just reinstated? Reinstate? Yes, it seems pretty simple, but at a minimum for me, Um Least make a statement acknowledges show that you're trying to be more progressive in the university didn't lose. The university didn't lose revenue because they took Reggie's Heisman. This is not UNLV is basketball, but God s M u But everything is about precedent. Right like that's the one thing that I would say the N C. Double Leslie. Now I don't know. And I'll try and find out over the course of the next couple hours. I don't know if the Heisman could essentially do this and have no recourse because the Heisman is their own. Right. So maybe the Heisman House in the Heisman truck The Nissan commercial. You know how well that's how we fix it. I mean, next on heist and commercial, But it is at least you know, where do you go? Because, like you mentioned Ohio State, like we have to remember that Jim Tressel left Ohio State after the tattoo to scandal right now, and I wouldn't even call it a scandal, man. I'm signing something for you to get some damn tattoos. The reality, though it is stupid, but it was the stupid rule at the time. And if you broke the stupid rule at the time, do we just go in and say, But Monica, you make Good point that Hey, maybe you want to go in and historically right some wrongs like I'm not sure that's the worst thing to do. I just don't know where we draw the line like vacated wins for teams. Do we put those back like you know if you want a national championship, and it's been taken or you won games, and they've been take Michigan do we bring coaching records back that have been vacated because you know the games were taken away. Louisville, Michigan on that on the basketball side, first of all as much as you vacate, even if you use the word vacate whatever year was vacated, there is no other like the runner up..

"I saw what should do about situations like bush's heisman. And if so. I think you have to re instate the victories to those who wanna games. I think you have to give the trophies to those who won the trophies because what they accomplished on the court and what they accomplished on the field has nothing to do with what they may have accepted off of it which has now become legal now marston. Talk my dog. Reggie bush go. Somebody want heisman that year. Okay reggie bush. One heisman that year in second was vince. Young reggie bush. Don't get that heisman vince. John gotta get the heisman. But somebody gotta get the heisman back so the fact of the matter is. The heisman cannot just float in the ether. Give reggie bush his heisman back since the heisman committee and the ncwa made the decision. That is not gonna go to vince joan. Somebody wanna heisman. Somebody need trophy was at the olympic trials this past year this past weekend. If you get disqualified in a race they will take the person behind you if you get third. They will take the person that finish fourth in the event. The third place finisher got disqualified and the person who got four th wound. Now get third. Allow vince young ready gifts. This qualify for whatever reason then vince. Young now have gotten the heisman but what happened at olympic trials. If they see that somebody was inappropriately disqualified. I saw that on the track with the one hundred meter dash for the women are woman was inappropriately disqualified in the semifinals. They will reinstate her. We have now realized that at least in certain situations athletes have been inappropriately disqualified based upon the new juncture in the new rule. That athletes are now qualified for the things. They were previously disqualified. For that reason. I do think winds should be reinstated. And i do think ready. Should get his heisman back man. I don't think he should get his heisman back. That was well stated. And i actually part of my heart is sitting there on the side with you because i want him to get this heisman. He deserves it. He earned it. But let's just be real about this in the way. I teach my children in a way. I learned as well. There's so much room in this world for us to rome and do what. We wanna do our freedoms and liberties people don't really look at it in a proper perspective because there are laws and the laws are restrictions. These are the violations and these are the consequences those violations and their present day. Now the laws have evolved just like society has evolved just like human beings have evolved. But in that present day moment you know what the restrictions are and more importantly what the consequences are. So reggie bush anybody in this free reign of roaming around and playing collegiate sports. No there's only a few things you can't do in that moment only a few now. This is the same reggie. Bush that i used to see was a superstar. I'm in the league. And i'm walking up to reggie bush like a fan lake. I say richard was everywhere. Reggie bush ran. La probably brand country but there was a couple of things they say. Reggie just can't do this now. Were they right or wrong retroactively. They were wrong in the moment. There was controversy. Nobody was still below. I can't look at a world where all of a sudden we make the mantra. We moved forwards. Yes but we can't move back with think about it. We can move forward but not backwards because we move backwards. Where do we stop opening. Pandora's box about all the things that have changed and then trying to change that so the consequences were already built because the restrictions were built and the knowledge of those restrictions with there. You violate it. I'm sorry it's trivial. Ru is a dumb who but is not so dumb that we retroactively. Now give you the reward for some. You shouldn't have done you. Got your undergrad degree in sociology. Yes very sociological. I'll try to put you in a box that i put my hand orient myself in a box trying to prep for it is because i originally was on your side this morning while i'm prepping my notes in the dressing room for the show. Y'all i'm on sell side. But then i thought about this and you know me. I've been doing all this race. Relations stuff to last year. So i know all my studies in my stats and my history there. Nineteen sixty seven is when interracial marriage became legal in nineteen sixty six. It was illegal the person who is in jail right. Call it for interracial marriage before the loving burst. Virginia the person who's in jail in nineteen sixty five and nineteen sixty six and nineteen sixty four four interracial marriage once it becomes legalized. I don't know in my heart. I couldn't wrestle with keeping them in jail for law that we collectively you're like is a erroneous law. And because i think things should be if you agree with the stance sell on one principle we should be able to apply to every principle based upon me wrestling with that. I said no one say law gets changed or justified or an vindicated. If you will then you almost have to retroactively. Fix what you got wrong. Like what you're saying. And i know that that most people say yeah he got you ourselves. I'm gonna say. I isolate the variables. Nineteen sixty five. The law still in place in some states and then also they changed the law. You know what they took away from you when you are being penalized if you're in violation of that took away your freedoms down. Once they changed the law you know what they can't give you back john. That was hoping we'll say the freedom the time that was lost. It's gone like reggie bush. They say look you you're penalized. We took your heisman. But you can still be reggie bush. Who had a tremendous pro-career reggie bush. Who works here. Who has brand. But you know what you lost you can never get back some part of that. You never get back. What part of that in this equation is that damn trophy. You're not getting it back. If you ask me shooting interns. America turns of what he earned. Yes is sitting even been a rule but it was a rule in violation of that rule is got him in harm's way so since we can't give it back to you because that was the rule. How do you talk about anything. That's present day right now. Do you know what you're going to enable. Okay it's two thousand twenty one. I'm a break. Some rooms the devereux the trivial rules and in two thousand and forty two board. Because you know what. I should never been to jail doors bus. You don't you think when you're talking about whether it is the fab five whether it's the ohio state players because this is everybody not just reggie ohio state players. Y'all remember two thousand ten accepted tattoos for free. Fourteen thousand dollars in exchange for their bowl rings ultimately. I believe ran. Jim tressel the great ohio. State coach out of their way for urban meyer. Which then made way for ryan dates with fab five. Vacated all of their wins dez bryant. He lost his last l. Eligible year of football and then had to go to the nfl. Only playing two years in college sell in the event you already taken a loss. Isn't that loss enough. Can't we try to make up for how we already wrong. You like the cats that are in jail and you find out. Oh you shouldn't actually been in jail. I can't make up for the time you lost but at least i can set you free. So there's no coming back injury. The winds free bring back for the fab five. Okay jim tressel. I can reinstate your wins like. I can't give them trouble. I can't give you your job. Back at ohio state ryan days and that can give you wins back. That's about point like you're not going to get it all back and whatever they give you back. Okay if they can't like. I'm not adamant on my side what i'm saying. I'm just saying in principle. I believe what i'm saying. But if you could give reggie bush trophy back in this not going to open up handle. Ben door's boxes not going to set this bad precedent. I'm with it. Well let's let me give it to you in this lighthearted example even though we wouldn't light.

I went to the great city of saint. Louis where my Were my in laws. Live and where my wife. And i got married and celebrated our ten year anniversary and it was great. It was my first time travelling since the pandemic and it's just great to be Backout in the world living a you know other than the masks on the airplane just fairly normal pre march twenty twenty time so good while it's crazy. It's i didn't think about. It's ten years what i remembered a little bit about the trip to your wedding was at one point going back to the hotel and pouring through a lot of emails that we're going to go in the back of the leech book so well. That's not where. I thought you were going with that. I thought i mean. I'll never forget coming down to brunch the morning after the wedding. You know you always have like a people. Do you know brunch for the family members. Smithtown in the espn was on the tv. And on the ticker. Jim tressel has resigned as ohio state coach. As like not my problem. Wow i didn't. I didn't i don't remember that While i didn't remember the time obviously remember all the conversation going on. That i don't i wasn't you but i definitely remember a couple of the writer. Weren't that many sports writers. They were the ones who had to like suddenly work on this breaking news from their hotel in saint louis. What's weird about that is our number one of my bosses at espn. We had already done and this was the first time. I think i had ever done something like this where you wrote ahead of time knowing that this is likely to happen so i remember having a. I don't know if it was a candidates list of who ohio state would go after. I don't remember what we ran. But i remember. We had a story ready to go. And i remember going up when i was at the airport. I didn't realize it was that it was at your wedding. That was from coming out of that at that time though. That's interesting Trust me. I have many other memories from that weekend. There's nothing to do with college. Football thankfully but hard hard to forget that one Okay hall of fame. I think so it gets the college football hall of fame processes so confusing and so different from the pros. And you know we haven't even inducted the twenty twenty one class yet. I believe that happens in december and they've already put out the ballot for the twenty twenty two class but You know this. One made a lot of waves Wednesday morning because of a lot of stars on this. We'll get into it but you know your big noon colleague jewish on there and it's a big deal because you're talking about a guy who's heisman got taken away who's you know. College legacy has In many ways you know become synonymous with this scandal But this was the first time he could actually be nominated for the hall of fame by usc because his You know he was associated for a decade from usc. And i just think it's interesting that you all these years later. It's like i think the the narrative around that those sanctions have have just completely changed from. He's a villain to not that he was wrong. But that like just the the punishment didn't fit the crime so i don't think people think it's pretty cool that he's on the ballot. Yeah i think just in terms of what he was as a player You know it's crazy to me. Just doing the math. And i think i told you this story before and i feel like i probably told on the podcast but i i went with him. He came with us too. Big twelve mediais a couple years ago. And what what didn't add up to me was. The players were in awe of reggie bush in a way that look. There's a lot of Celebrity former football players who are now in the media and look i work with a bunch of them but aside from maybe sam darnold how these players look at reggie. Bush is way different than say how they look at matt winer or or brady quinn or who. Whoever you know is at your network with reggie. There was like an awe of celebrity like in a different way. Now you know. I think some of it is for a bunch of different aspects of celebrity. But you'd think two thousand and five at usc cd llamas one of them who fit into category. Oh my god. That's reggie bush kind of thing and there was a bummer players at iowa state. Oh my god. That's reggie bush like stop in your tracks. That's like those you know. What does that fourteen years earlier. So a lot of those kids were seven six years old and everything like that. And i know there's a video game component and there's youtube stuff to it But just a kind of an iconic player that i think that that is you know like you just list go through the list of the guys on the ballot and i you know what i wanted to do for part of this podcast was say okay. Let's put our ten guys in each go. Kay this is the ten guys. I would absolutely try to put in this year. Or whatever and it's hard. I was like are limited to ten and i ended up with eighteen. And now you know whittle it down or whatever You know reggie was. One of those players were stats. Don't do him in the other. The other day. I showed my son. He's into football. And so you know one point. We watched a ten minute clip of barry sanders in the nfl which blew his mind. And then i was okay. I wanna show you this. And i was like i showed him reggie and he was. I couldn't believe that. And i was like you've actually met him and he was like you know kind of i don't remember him as again. One day he came in he'd left his laptop somewhere. Or whatever whatever and it was just like i'd just to see the highlights again for me even just the highlights of fresno state or against arkansas is just he played at a just different speed So it's cool to see that. He's you know on the ballot. I would ask you when you went through the ballot as we do. Who would be your ten guys like. Okay these the first time guys on putting what's your easy is so the email i got had their seventy eight guys on this ballot right and and it's not like any of them are completely undeserving. But the email i got at i highlighted the ones who are on there for the first time i could pick ten guys just off that list of you know just just the guys appearing on the first time. Like lavar arrington reggie bush michael crabtree work done. Who i don't understand yeah. I didn't understand that. you know. Andrew luck bryant mckinnie callan more And but they're seventy eight names in total You know to me all right. You wanna do a draft We could do that. Let's do that because we're going to have overlap and that way my eighteen list. I assume we're getting all of them. In and i also know a couple of years so i'm like i'm not gonna pick I do think that the first one that i want to get in. Just 'cause it's overdue is what we just said worked on three time thousand yard rusher for what. We consider to be the the heyday a floor. State football you know. He was on national title team. He played for another You know there's a lot of really great players on here who are more recent but like let's let's take. Let's get him on their first. I'm going to take a guy. Like i had four or five guys that i would fit in category just dominant like players In this guy argues dominant players have ever seen in person also in the acc as julius peppers me just just an insane athlete To me he was like like a superman out there. So i would i will. I will take him next. Okay i mean. I do think i'm not going to. I mean ralph russo r. e. p. about this. I'm sure he's listening..

"I had it. I just wasn't dialed into it. Like how i wanted to be in Like at the time fought ahead. This though so much more that i could do With little cultivated. That i learned in my own It it showed me a lot about success. You know because a lot of things that i did were through anger chip shoulder and so but that chip on your shoulder shoulder can only go. So far it had the redirect anger into a different type of mindset. So you have a different type of energy that that follows that mindset and for me it was it wasn't until after i had a chance to reflect and sit back and go through all of the steps l. while i was released from the scene while is the press. Why made an attempt to try to kill myself. Why why did. I want to calmness of of of of mindfulness meditation and Once i had opportunity to self reflect and see each scenario and then also lived that scenario out you know instead of being stifled My growth being stifle from focusing on. I oh man. That's what happened. And that is a that that is cemented in history. It can never change. You know a lot of time on the plate things out on your head so your emotions can follow. Kosovo can have a way out right and I was able to see all of those things. And then realize all of the things that i've accomplished and be thankful for what i've accomplished and now set my ground on and know that there's so much more to to accomplish to fulfill purpose vision in life and And each and every day. I see more and more clearly now. You know when i was reading a calvin johnson's forward on your book. He said you know he's. He struggled in his early career. I didn't know this about him i. I haven't studied his career in depth but he said he struggled early in his career and then somebody managed to get him to to try at least five minutes a day and eventually that led into more time and then he and he became megatonne right. He became this guy who who transforms a giant on the field and Stopping him. I mean if if if stafford got the ball to forget about it you know exactly. Yeah yeah he was had opportunity to watch him in person you know in college and it was like was like Watson reggie bush you know When reggie bush was running back at usc it was mesmerizing watching him. So same thing would come johnson. That was mesmerizing watson. Calvin johnson i in college was funny with him. And reggie bush play with for detroit. Lions reggie bush was like he was all like oh man while and or does light reggie you. You know you mr heisman..

Did cheating help Astros win World Series? Hinch says we may never know
"Aj hinch and the interview. He did finally breaking his silence of the disgraced astros manager who was fired in the wake of the breaking story in major league. Next glad you said that the ask the disgraced astros manager he was not. There's nothing else to call him. He's a disgrace Astros manager He was caught up up in the science. Dealing Scandal of the Astros didn't do enough to stop it and the first thing rob Manfred did was announced his suspension for Major League Baseball and then a couple allows later. The Astros fired him. You mentioned the interview he did. It's going to air tonight. And he was asked. Does this championship that you wanted. Twenty Lee seventeen. Is it tainted by this new scandal. Unfortunately we open that door as a group in that question I may never be answered. We may never know we're going to have to live and move forward and be be better better in the sport but unfortunately no one can really answer. Threw that question. I I can't pinpoint what advantages or what what happened. Or what. Exactly what happened otherwise but we did it to ourselves. Okay wait I can answer. It had had a lot to do. Look at the home road. Splits of all your headers like Jose Altuve. Have you see our relay race. Home and road splits dislike. It's like four twenty at home one twenty on the road and you remember if correctly that was when they remember lost the Games in New York to the Yankees remember the laws and then at home the they won all games. I mean it was an if I'm a dodger fan. I'm salty as well 2017. MLB CHAMPION DOC. There are two parades coming twenty seventeen and twenty eighteen and then back to back. Alex Cora takes that same show on the road and same thing. I I asked we. We know of this movie Bets trae goes through. You know as as Alex Cora cheated to be named later. Is that a part of the look at you know. I think that was the penalty. Not was the red sox train. mookie Betts to the padres and they said No. No you gotta make amends and trading with the dodgers all right shoulder dodger you owe the dodgers at Aj Aj hinch clearly is in that mode all of us do this in our lives. Whenever something bad happens did the interview though he could he could run and hide for year and not be heard from? I think it's better when you get out in front of it. But is he getting out in front of my saying. I don't know what kind of impact this had. Clearly when you're batters know what's it's coming. It's a lot easier when you go to that length of we're putting in electronic sign stealing system and you play the. I'm only the manager card. I couldn't stop this. No one believes please. You know either. The point where he's at the point in his life and all of us do this right when something happens in our lives. It's bad that we're responsible for. What do we try to do at some point? We try rationalize why it happened. And it's not really our fault. Aj hinch is at this point where who knows what he's GonNa do in baseball again. He's going to manage again. Maybe a couple years somewhere where. I'm not quite sure that he's at that point. where I need to reconcile with myself because I am a world series champion and I'm not going to walk around every day going it was tainted? So I'm I'm GonNa convince myself that I don't know what kind of impact this had altuve as still had to hit the baseball even though he knew what was the old PD argument. So He's in that point of denial. where I'm going is still WANNA walk around and not just feel crappy every day that we won and we won by cheating? So I'm GonNa convince myself that I don't know what we we did. Any act on the game only problem is I get it if you told me that one every game at home then win every game at home even with the cheating scandal. Whoa with knowing what's coming? So that's the part that makes it hard that's why you can't go automatically and say well we should just turn championship over to the dodgers not that the dodgers. aww their fans would want it that way but they didn't win every game using that cheating system so okay so they won three quarters of their. But I'm just saying when eighty percent of they're games that that's the only reason and this could have It doesn't mean that Wa. The team couldn't have beaten them at some point. All I'm saying is I get it cheating. Cheating it helps them. I'm not denying that but it's a reason why you can't take the championship and I don't think that that will work for majorly based on you can easily take like the championship. And you can not awarded to anybody. Say No year but Rob Manfred and look rob Manfred and Adam. Silver are two of the new age commissioners which they they WANNA do nothing they want to do nothing but in grow the game and have great reputations right Adam silver wants to do a little bit less than Rob Manfred but rob Manfred I guarantee aren t you. He thought I'm taking care of this. Here's a suspension for hinch. Here's bench for Jeff Luna. I'm taking care of it and instead what happened. Was it mushroomed out of control to the point. Where an hour an hour after this broke? What was the biggest topic online? Put Pete Rose in the hall of fame. 'cause you're not taking care cheaters enough. This got completely out of control because Manfred doesn't WanNa be the guy where the first line of his wikipedia pages rob Manfred who presided over. MLB taking a world series away from a team for the first time Blah Blah Blah. Aw that would be his legacy. He wasn't going to do it he wasn't going to be the guy to say you're going to look back at my my rain and it's GonNa be pace of play but mainly it's going to be. He took look world series away. He presided over a dark time in major league baseball. He wasn't going to be that guy. I'm not gonNA wear it so I'm GonNa have this suspension and then whatever happens after it gets out of my control and I don't care that's why he didn't do anything. Yeah I I just I never been into it. Even college used to do it and the Olympics and taken away medals and stuff that we watched watched to tell me that Reggie Bush wasn't the heisman trophy winner. You know you could tell me that all you want but I watched that season. Do you know what I mean. So I'm not fully the Internet. I don't think that changes anything. That doesn't take their memory away from me. I think you've just got a penalize the organization but I I'm not into taking championships

Heisman Watch: There's no stopping Jalen and Tua
"So former teammates to a tunnel by Lola and Jalen hurts continued to go toe-to-toe each week as the race for the heisman heats up last weekend to through for nearly four hundred fifty yards and five touchdowns against South Carolina meanwhile Jalen Pass for just just under three hundred yards and three touchdowns along with one hundred and fifty yards and another touchdown on the ground according to Fox too is now just a slight favourite win the heisman over the QB he replaced in Tuscaloosa joined by Fox College football analysts Reggie Bush good to have you so regret giving up on Jalen no not at all regret giving up on Jalen life is good in in Alabama real mess team and caused football really you got the best quarterback in college football guaranteed to make the playoffs even with one loss and I think even L. Obama lost two games they still figure out a way to get him in the playoffs and when to a- leaves they just going to replace him with another five star quarterback so life was good in Alabama. I don't think Nick Sabin has any reason to even worry about. Losing Jalen hurts because his quarterback has right now beat out jalen hurts for that starting starting spot and so to me when I look at the big picture because I do think Jalen hurts has the best shot out of the two to win the heisman trophy because he played the situation perfectly. He went from having to face. SEC every week to facing big twelve defenses every week which everybody knows they don't really play a lot of defense in the big twelve and so so when I look at the big picture he's going to continue to put up these kinds of numbers every week because there's not a single defense on that roster on schedule that can stop them It looks like a heisman winner to me. I thought it'd be well. No twelve zero peaks really has yet to really dupleix insignificant time in the fourth quarter. No he will regret his skip. Jalen hurts got beat up but let me tell you how much coal saving love. Jalen hurts cold all saber replace. Jalen hurts in the National Championship game against Georgia to Accom- back lease them to a victory coach. David Love Jalen hurts so much that then he puts the job up into sprees. Whoever wins it in the spring? That'll be my starting quarterback. He'd beat up to t t t t feed him out again. Okay so what I said. You know what this is my last year. I want to go play Kevin. I can't beat him about. He just beat me out last spring. I'm not going to beat him about this free so what was supposed to do he goes. He goes to Oklahoma wishing well. It's the same thing can can album commit coach saving et. Cetera compare what was going to be that Derrick Henry couldn't be that yielding couldn't beat. Andrei saw his playing time with limited he against the running back. We're talking about quarterback a a much more important. My point is if you can't be the guy out and you don't want to sit the bench. Let me go somewhere where I can play. He went to Oklahoma. WE'VE Cup Calum Murray Lift weight you skip to step who took over in one. Sec Championship game and Got Alabama to the playoffs last year. Oh okay great stay co-ceo. I'll stay if you put the job up in the spring again. Now exactly is coast was he's headed to a better

Quicken Loans apply simply understand fully mortgage confidently. We'll continue our NFL conversation. Sam Monson pro football focus lead analyst Sam how you doing? What's going on buddy? I'm doing great excellent. You know, it's funny this week. I heard I don't know if you heard this. But. Greg Williams who to me. Why don't really work in Cleveland locally in the week? And I have no desire for Greg Williams to remain the long-term coach Gregg Williams. I think he's about as old school is old school gets and he referred to some advanced analytics this week. And I almost was brought to tears Sam because well, I think I think that all sports need to have a good balance between old school scouting and new school analytics you'll so many old school football guys are so hesitant look where we are in baseball. Now. Right. The sport is completely run. Everybody has an analytics department in basketball and football is dragging their feet a little bit more in some organizations, but the here an old school coach like Greg Williams referred to some advanced analytics. That was that was wild for me to hear it must have. I don't know if you heard it. But it probably would've made you happy. If you did. Yeah. I think you're right football is behind baseball. And how that kind of stuff is gone, but everybody understands that it can help you how you present it to all of these people know, so head coaches are often the last guy to get on board. But it's because you need to present it to them in in the right away. Now, there's a ton of ways that say the PS database can help is those guys. But if you come to them initially where you know, something they don't wanna hear they're not going to buy. But if you immediately show them something, you know, a fancy pretty grasp the chosen exactly what they've been saying for years, suddenly they're all on board. So I think a lot of teams the league you're just starting to sort of see this time where the analytics guys or people that have been using the stuff within the Bill. Building for years are finally starting to figure out how to present it to coaches added presented to general manager is and you know, the guys bad again in front of the media. And that's when you're starting to see this filter out. I think it's been used a lot within the building for years already. But now we're starting to see those guys use it on a daily basis and get the headline stuff sent to them in a way that they're they're much more comfortable with gesturing at an and actually taking it on board. We're talking with Sam Monson pro football focus lead analysts Sam. Baker Mayfield has had a tremendous season. As a rookie as put up some big old school numbers if you will. But when when you went from a pro football, focus perspective when you guys run the numbers on what he's done. How would how does he great out compared to some other rookie quarterback's of the past? Yeah. I think you do need to go to quarterbacks with a pass because he hadn't shoulders above any other rookie season right now. He's a top ten grade quarterback in the NFL. He's tense overall. Just one physician behind Russell Wilson. So you're already talking about it really really well graded player right off the five. And obviously pro football focus was very high invade your Mayfield coming out were the guy is the winter by for him saying that he was the best prospect in this draft in it really wasn't close to the next guy. I think so far. That's that is being born out. We have seen better performances in the past rookies. I think that twenty twelve season was a pretty incredible year for rookie performances. Obviously it didn't last because RG three in particular had a phenomenal season that year, and then tours and really hasn't been the same player since. But you know, Baker Mayfield is looking as good as we've seen any rookie quarterback. Look probably dating by twenty twelve season. We're seeing some really impressive play from him. And I think his play generally has been better than even the statistics suggest because you had one of the highest rates in the NFL right five and drop rates. And unlike most of the times when a receiver drops the ball, it's an incomplete passes. It's not doing that much damage to your passer rating, or whatever but Baker mayfield's have multiple assets that have been hit his receivers and my hands and ended up as interceptions. So those are taking a sledgehammer to operating over the course of the season. It's ninety three. Point four right now. And this is a season where passing is exploded operating ninety three point four is nice great at the moment. But it's his performance has been way better than that. We're talking with Sam Monson lead analyst pro football, focus Sam, let's talk about another rookie and that saquon Barkley who probably be battling Baker Mayfield for rookie of the year. From an offensive standpoint. There's been other good rookie running back but saquon Barkley make over two thousand total yards this season. How does he compare to Todd Gurley Leonard four nets and some of the other big rookie seasons from running backs? Yeah. I mean saquon Barkley just moved into first edition CFS running back rankings. He's the the number one guy right now through the through part of the season. He's been incredible. He's been everything that everybody who was championing him saying he would be coming out. I think he's been better than we thought. He might be there. The idea that he was a perfect running back prospect that don't think really holds up work holes in his game in particular. This tendency to to be a bit. Reggie Bush in terms of wanting to balance everything outside to look for that clay, but he's gotten a lot better in his first year at not doing that at taking ugly yards when they're there. And that's all there to be had. And it's still maximizing goes explosive plays getting huge games. Those are there. So he has been fantastic. I think again he's been as good as any rookie running back the receipt for a number of years. Really? He's I guess he's played as well. As Alvin Kamara did last year as a rookie on he's done more fulltime base. So he already has you know, two hundred more snaps than Kamara managed all last season playing that same kind of rate is Amari Cooper. Has memorial Cooper's play been much better. Or is just a the players around him made him much better. I think it's a bit of both, you know, playing wide receiver it so difficult to play. Well, if the ball isn't coming in your direction off the ball is coming in your direction in attachable manner. Having you can do about it. There's only so much fancy route running against air. You can do if the ball isn't coming your way. So I think we're seeing Amari Cooper was always a quality route runaround player that would get consistently open. And now we're seeing what happens when you target that guy. He's still a very good player and I play put up big numbers. And obviously, that's that's meaning that his greatest better because he's being given the ball and that talent is being maximized. So you know, I think that that was always there that that talent that play was always inherited his game. Even in Oakland. The raiders just weren't making use of it. We're talking with Sam Monson pro football focus lead analyst. Sam. I know you guys today had an article about projecting Cuyler Murray's pro potential. I'm curious because obviously he's a top ten pick and major league baseball. He's giving compared to Ricky Henderson. He signed a four and a half million dollar bonus. There would have to give it back obviously at a even a better year than Baker Mayfield did this past year in college, which is hard to believe. But obviously, you know, people make a thing about the thing about Baker mayfield's hike, which I thought was over rated. But obviously calamari isn't even close those big as as Baker Mayfield. A what is his potential d do you think he could be a good NFL quarterback? I think he could be, you know, you're right people that the highest the big question Mark because people did make an issue out of Baker Mayfield. Tighter on Baker Mayfield is short for an NFL quarterback. But not, you know, it's not unprecedented. We've seen quarterbacks Baker Mayfield type successful in the past. They're not obviously, not as many as there are as you know, six with three quarterbacks, but those guys have existed and they've been good in the past. I don't I don't know that we've ever seen quarterback that is Kyla Murray's Hite house significant success at the end up, right? You know, he is going to be when we get the official number on him. If it ever gets that far he's going to be significantly shorter than even a guy like Russell Wilson. And you would be in legitimately uncharted territory. When it comes to that. Now, if you're going to do that, you have to be there has to be something else to say, well, okay. That's not going to be a problem because of this and his grading has been incredible. His is great this season at Oklahoma has been basically everything is as as good. As Baker mayfield's grade had been on that was the best we've ever seen from a quarterback, right? The best seasons we've ever seen at college with one of his own. So he has a level of the best play. We've ever seen coming out of college from a college quarterback. And we've been doing this going back to two thousand fourteen but we've seen some pretty good quarterbacks over that's fine. You know, we went back, and we also graded James Winstons freshman seasons. We have got Carson Wentz you got Jared Goff. We've got right. And they got all these guys and Carl Amari stacks up to those guys. Sorry.
