Kevin McCullough Shares His Thoughts on Gain-Of-Function Research
"Family knows him as Kevin McCullough. But the rest of us say all hail votes knows all tells all political prognosticator. What do you have to say about, oh, I don't know, gain of function research. We were just talking about all of the revelations that are coming out and how we've got some good folks, thank the lord in Congress, pushing, where are we with some of this stuff? Working very hard. And in fact, some of them were pushing before the election. Obviously, senator Rand Paul was hounding Doctor Fauci at every hearing that they were able to get him to show up for and doing so on the scientific basis as one physician talking to another, calling him out on the facts. Here's the great game that they played with the gain of function thing. Fauci said he didn't lie before Congress because they had literally changed the definition of gain of function. But if you understand gain of function for what a traditionally always meant in the scientific circles, it was to take a virus and to weaponize it so that it can be more lethal and more potent than it was before. It didn't have anything to do with defining who it could infect or anything else. That's the stuff they tried to narrow down to make what happened appear fine. It's obviously not. And CDC director Robert Redfield to his credit was speaking up behind the scenes two Fauci into those that were getting all of the attention during the pandemic saying, guys, there's no way. This was engineered in a lab. If

Gordon Chang and Trish Discuss the Origins of the Coronavirus
"Recent weeks, we have learned what you and I, I think we're talking about back in January of 2020, which was the Wuhan lab theory. We had certainly I think both heard from various sources that it was quite possible that the coronavirus originated in a lab in Wuhan. That theory that discussion as you well know, Gordon was shut down. Aggressively shut down and now it seems doctor Anthony Fauci may have been at the forefront of helping to shut that discussion down by commissioning a scientific study, which he basically was able to take a red pen to. Doctor Redfield, head of the CDC, was cut out of conversations because he felt it was possible it may have come from a Wuhan lab and I think he said the most devastating thing to him was when the Baltimore sun called him a racist because he suggested it might come from Wuhan. We know what we all went through. Why do you think that was? Why do you think there was such an aggressive attempt to say no, there's no way it came from the Wuhan institute of virology? My theory is that Doctor Fauci was trying to protect himself. So if we go back to 2014, the Obama administration imposed a moratorium on the federal funding of gain of function research in the United States. So what did Fauci do? He outsourced gain of function funding to a biological weapons lab in China, the Wuhan institute of virology. And he did that through the New York based echo health alliance. So echo health alliance with NIH money was actually funding gain of function on coronaviruses. So I think Fauci is a little bit concerned that the Chinese took what they learned from his funding and they were applying it and eventually ended up creating SARS CoV-2, the pathogen causing COVID-19.

Rep. Lauren Boebert: Dr. Fauci Needs to Be Held Accountable, Locked Up
"Here Fauci yesterday appeared on Fox News on Neil cavuto show where he goes to do his mea culpas and fake ones And he's insisting again that he did not push lockdowns still trying to push some evidence about this potential wet market theory And he said you know I wasn't the one who kept CDC director Redfield off the call about the potential lab leak I just don't trust this guy And you know he just reminds me of the Mötley Crüe song You know girl don't go away man Just go away at this point I mean he's been on the wrong side of everything It's true Yes I want to see him in cuffs and not those invisible tufts that AOC carries around Fauci needs to be locked up for what he has done to the American people We are seeing the origins of COVID We knew it all along It's coming out and we're seeing that this was absolutely gain of function and you talk about it as often on your show very clearly and eloquently getting this information out to the people I'm so grateful for that But Fauci did push lockdowns He did push masks He did push vaccines and vaccine mandates And he is injured So many thousands tens of thousands of Americans if not more whether it be financially whether it be our children in schools or even spiritually with the lockdown of churches how many churches are back to their full capacity or are people just said well we don't do this anymore Or even with the vaccines that were forced on them there's so much that he did that was absolutely wrong And he needs to be held accountable to the fullest extent for his actions

"Now folks, because we like to talk tactics in turkey on this show. Fred Siegel was one of my favorite authors. He talks a lot about this thing called the iron triangle. The iron triangle is a means by a means by which Democrats get a story out there, not necessarily the story. If the Democrats want a story out there, Republican corruption, Republican malfeasance, whatever it may be, they use what Siegel calls the iron triangle. Congressional committees, the media and activist groups. And they all feed off each other. It's not so much a triangle as it is a circle because it never stops. The activist groups get their publicity from the media. They raise money from donors. The activist groups create a stir about something. The polar bears are dying. There's a congressional committee with some of the same donors funding the activist groups are donating to the members of the congressional committee on the Democrat side. There's a hearing about polar bear. The media picks up the hearing about polar bears. The activist groups show up to testify in front of the congressional hearing about the polar bear hearing. Why do they bring with them? Pictures of the die in polar bears. Everybody's like, oh my gosh, we're losing polar bears as a national crisis. Next thing you know, activist groups have pins for sale. Save the polar bears. They're all done. And you're like, man, this is crazy. Like a month ago, I'd never thought about polar bears in my life. Now I go on a college campus and every kid in the college campuses wearing a save the polar bear has been. How the hell did that happen? The answer is the iron triangle. Yeah, I'm triangle. Congressional committees are a weapon in the iron triangle, and a powerful one. Why? Because they command media attention. Media outlets will pick up not all of them, but interesting congressional committees why, because they're motivated by a revenue line at the bottom and people want to see this though. They want to see Twitter executives getting grilled or doctor Redfield talking about Fauci. It's as simple as that. Is it more complicated than that? Republicans are finally finally getting it. I don't say I want to be traumatic. They've used congressional committees in the past, but they're learning the power. Of social media, conservative activists, conservative media, and congressional committees. We'll call it the conservative iron triangle. So doctor Redfield, a former head of the CDC, went up to Capitol Hill yesterday in front of this congressional committee and it got a ton of social media attention. Liberals tried to make it go away, of course, it's not going to work. And man right out of the shoot, he went for it. He says, you know, these three things led me, led me to believe from the jump. That this COVID virus had leaked from the Wuhan lab in China. Now keep in mind when he tells you these three things that we've known about for another this is new. Some liberals are hearing this for the first time because they don't want to hear the truth and liberal media outlets hide it from them. But it's now crystal clear. That this thing leaked from a lab. Listen to these three things and tell me, again, how this thing could have come from a pangolin. Take a listen. I will say if you go back and look at declassified now and I'm sure you all have your classified briefings, but the declassified information now in September of 2019, three things happened in that lab. One is the deleted the sequences. It was highly irregular. The researchers don't usually like to do that. Second thing they did was they changed the command and control of the lab from the civilian control to the military control. Highly unusual. And I've been involved in dual slabs when I was in the military. And the third thing they did, which I think is really telling is they let a contractor either the ventilation system in that laboratory. So I think clearly there was strong evidence that there was a significant event that happened in that laboratory in September. It's now been declassified. You can read it. I'm sure there's more classified information around. I can't believe and you will, you go to a barbecue this weekend. See, I'm in Florida, we can barbecue year round. If you're northeast, maybe it's not barbecue time. Yeah. You go to barbecue street here, liberal labor shows up. I guarantee you, he's probably a moron, but he will tell you, and he will look you square in the eye. He really believes it. Your liberal, whatever his name is Samuel or whatever. He probably just smoked the ball. He's coming over the house. He still high up his read or whatever. He's going to tell you. Give him a bath. Really? Can you explain that in wife it came from a bat? Why the Chinese Communist Party would delete the gene sequence of the virus that would indicate it came from a bat? Isn't that weird? You don't find that weird? And what's his answer gonna be? Jim said a little bit, a little bit, and so I'm a little bit. Who Fauci said, of course, I mean, Fauci's your God. I get it, you genuflect in front of him. I totally understand, you'll take any opportunity to surgically attach your lips to his ass. I understand that. But can you explain that? Why the Chinese Communist Party would delete the gene sequence? Does that make sense to you? What about the fact that right after the lab leak happened and the virus emerged? That the Chinese Communist Party military took over the civilian controlled lab. You could argue I was in a real civilian control, but you get the point. The Chinese military, the PLA, came in. What would you think the way you think that was about?

"Priscilla We're with that pure Robert Redfield Have you ever been called Robert Redford You know Jack there were times many people introduced me that way The times that I had the most advantage is when I walked into a restaurant and they were expecting Robert Redford because I made a reservation And I will say I never saw greater disappointment in the meter D's face when my wife and I walked in Well you look like Robert Redford wishes he looked Anything is possible All right the most used phrase in the Bible and St. John Paul two's greatest phrase was B not afraid What are your thoughts on that phrase You know Jack is so important you know at the time he wrote his book being not afraid I think it's just such an important underscoring of our faith We know how we know how the story ends We know who's in charge Yes they're going to be trials and tribulations Yes we're all going to be asked to carry across but at the end of the day we need to embrace that phrase be not afraid It's not about fear fear is not of God And fear is really the other side of God Evil forces in our world And I think the Pope really tried to send a major message when he wrote that book being not afraid I think it was a time when there was enormous fear in the world And you could say today as we sit here today there's probably many people There's enormous fear in the world But you know I was thankful that President Biden in his speech he gave the other day he started it with the Pope's words being not afraid I think it's important I think it's really an important message that we can't get paralyzed by fear We need to move forward We need to take risk And we need to remember the one thing that you and I talked about in Orlando With God all things are possible So why are we afraid We need to pray and we need to hope that we align ourselves to be part of the solution not part of the problem All right let's go back to 1977 You joined the U.S. Army And you served over 20 years rose to the rank of colonel and you did your residency at Walter Reed army medical center a special place talk about that magical place Well it's a wonderful institution Actually when I graduated from Georgetown I was opening mail the day of graduation you know trying to hope I was getting some checks from some of my relatives And one of the letters I opened had a official government letter And when I opened it it said congratulations You had to report for active duty I think it was June 7th 1973 at fort Bragg In other words I was called up and I said no no no no I'm going to go to medical school And the army said no no no no you're the report for active duty And it was I think it was signed by Richard Nixon actually And I had to go to active duty I went to basic training down at fort Bragg And I asked on multiple occasions to be postponed to be able to do my medical school Georgetown since I had been accepted to medical school And they told me that wasn't possible that I was going to go to Vietnam And lo and behold sometime in the summer of 73 the United States stopped sending soldiers to Vietnam And they turned to me in the middle of this basic training and said well you don't need to go to Vietnam We're not sending you to Vietnam And I said well can I go to medical school And they said yes we'll send you to medical school underwent a condition that you stay in the U.S. Army While you go to medical school And so the army put me through medical school And when I finished I got to go to Walter Reed What a gift it was As you said want to read was a very very special price I guess it still is I kind of wish it was on the old army grounds It's now been moved to the Bethesda navy grounds but it's a very special price and the men and women that serve our nation as physicians and healthcare providers are very very special people And I had the opportunity and at the time I don't know if I appreciated it to the degree I do now But what an opportunity to spend 23 years at Walter Reed Learning medicine more importantly with an eye on the world you know I had assignments in Pakistan and Afghanistan border I had assignments in Africa at assignments and in Brazil I had assignments in Southeast Asia I got to see the whole world while my family was anchored here at Walter Reed and watched it All right Speaking of opportunities let's go to the early 80s And we have this onset of HIV aids and you're one of the pioneers in that challenge What did that teach you doctor You know it's really important Jack First and foremost you know it taught me the value of being a physician.

"Announced the date for us going back to the studio of January 3rd this year, that was so far out, we were so confident that that was gonna happen. That felt like, oh, no matter what, it'll be done by there. And here we are. It's like, wow, there was no chance it was gonna be done by there. And that's just how quickly things can change that are just out of your control, or even the things that are in your control kind of can change and shift. So it's like apply that to a game as big as starfield that is definitely gonna be one of the biggest games ever made. I guarantee there's more resources being put into that than 90 plus percent of any video game ever. So with all of that, yeah, a lot can go wrong. I'm a little bit surprised. Again, we're surprised, I think, is like, there's a lot of granularity to it at the end of the day. It's not like I am utterly shocked and I can't fucking believe it, but it is the thing of just like, I really thought that they were going to hit it with starship. Redfall, I am not surprised at all. That is the thing where I'm like, yeah, totally that being delayed. I thought that was an inevitability. And he goes the other way. Where I thought for sure, starfield will get the late or not for sure, but if you're giving probability more for starfield than redfall, because redfall I felt like we talked about, of course, we have this, you know, the usual curse of a podcaster where we talked about redfall yesterday, right on in the games cast. But it's the thing of like, having known so little about that and feeling like that is arcane doing something different and maybe something a bit smaller than usual. Maybe I'm wrong about that, hopefully. Maybe not hopefully, whatever. I felt like it was just like, that's a game that's gonna come out and I don't know how much fanfare is gonna be behind it, so I could see them just putting that out as a summer game that you go play. I get that, but my biggest thing was always death loop. It's like you coming up straight off of that. I know there's different teams. I know this stuff, but just like something about that to me didn't sit right where it just seemed a little soon. Whereas with starfield, it felt so far out that it was like, oh, they're locking that down. They are planning their foot there. And that is, that is the plan that they are working everything around. And that is what Bethesda is actively all hands on deck for. And again, all these things change and I don't blame them at all for this. I think that them coming forward and saying this as soon as they are now. It's like, yeah, this is the best way for them to handle a bad situation that as much as gamers don't want it. They don't want it even more. You know what I mean? So it just kind of sucks. But to go to Constantine's question about maybe I would do more, but never for a second do I believe a game with no gameplay is ever coming out on the day a studio says it well. I think that the gameplay thing is almost a thing of the past where back in the E three 2006 days or wherever it was where, hey, here's this kill zone thing and it's like, well, remember that. It felt like a straight up lie. I think that games just come out at such a different clip. There's so many more of them. There's so many different strategies when it comes to marketing that I don't think every game gets the same kind of we used to call it IG in the car wash path where it's just like you get every single part of the exact same way and it doesn't matter what type of car you got. It's going through and it's going to get the wins. It's got to get the shine it's going to get put out, but it's like, no, every single game is looked at differently. And I think a lot of their big tentpole games like star field, there is a plan in place of like cool. We're going to do the CG revealed, then we're going to do the gameplay closer to its launch and then when it's ready to launch, we're going to do it. I think that is kind of a normalized pipeline these days that I don't think means doom and gloom. Necessarily. Now, I also think that with things like halo infinite, right, where it's like, there was just no gameplay of the campaign until the last minute, you know? It's like, there are examples of it working at not working and with Hale infinite, you can take that, I think, either way. But the fact of the matter is, hey, if it did not show gameplay for its campaign until way late, and then that game came out. For me, oh, and again, I'm not taking a shot at anybody, you know, the doomer here of Constantine or whatever. Part of this where I could sit there and I could believe, again, I could go either way. It will start feeling the latest talk you'll actually come out November. Part of the reason that would not have worried me yesterday talking about that is I felt like they found something they liked with fallout four. Which was do the big reveal at E three in quotes, right? And then release in the following be done with it. And so I thought that's what this would have been building to if it was actually happening. And that's why we've been getting weird vignettes in conversations about starfield that actually seeing starfield, which leads to a question from does the Redfield there you go. Combine them. Does the red false starfield delay change your expectations of the games being shown.

'Warp Speed' Author Paul Mango Shares His COVID Origin Theory
"This. I want everybody to read the book, but this is the question everybody still wants to know about. The origin theory. It seems pretty obvious that if you've got one of only two level four biodefense labs working for the Chinese military in the huge country of China in the city of Wuhan, where the COVID virus breaks out, that I don't know. There may be a very high likelihood of the virus being connected to the research being done at that lab. Tell us from the inside. Why they were such a resistance from people like Fauci, despite him receiving email saying, yeah, yeah, it's probably from the lab. Tell us what the debate was like on the origins of the China virus inside the task force inside The White House. Yeah, obviously Sebastian back in early of 2020. We didn't know what we know now. If we knew then what we know now, I think we'd take a different approach, but I can tell you in February of 2020, doctor Redfield sent a team from the CDC over to China to Wuhan to investigate this and he was with, I think, the World Health Organization members as well. And they wouldn't let them in the lab. Doctor Redfield was very suspicious from that point forward. And I talked to him a couple of weeks ago, and he told me something very interesting in terms of some statistics. So I think the viewers and listeners will be interested in. And that is, there were two prior similar coronaviruses. If you remember in the last 20 years SARS and nurse, SARS was 2003, mers was 2012. And both of them are what's called Zeno zoonotic events, meaning the virus came from an animal to humans. But here's what very important that they can jump species. That's right. But he said the following, he said, in the almost 20 years since SARS in ten years since mers, there have been fewer than 10,000 humans infected with those viruses. He said, on January 3rd, this is in retrospect, I was talking to him a couple of weeks ago. On January 3rd, 2020, when he called secretary azar and me, and told us we have a problem in China. He said in retrospect, we probably had more than 10,000 cases in the United States. And he said, there is no way a virus like this. Now he's one of the world's leading virologists. He said there's no way a virus like this could spread that quickly unless it was engineered somewhere along the way. Okay, I want everybody. We've

This happens literally once a month where this specific account will tweet out some bullshit that someone will get and then that spreads like a wildfire. Just mute this account because it is fucking funny sometimes. It's just like, yeah, this is dumb. God. Horrible stuff out there, but anyways, this is fake. It got a lot of pickup that had got a lot of people talking, so I just wanted to have a PSA news story. At least it's not confirmed that there will be two sex scenes in the Fortnite movie. It might be. Yeah, exactly. Who the hell knows? Let's move on to story number 7, everyone. The dark pictures season one finale, the devil in me is now announced this comes from Matt Purcell at IGN. A video plays at the end of the recently launched dark pictures House of ashes that Greg Miller's been playing and is really enjoying he's saying it's his favorite project from them since until dawn. Wow. Really, really, really cool. What a journey. Actually, I want to bring up Greg's tweets. They've had a lot of ups and downs, huh? Yeah, it's pretty interesting. Give me one set, guys. I believe in you that you'll bring it up in less than 5 seconds to. 5 seconds, wow, that is. Well, Greg tweets a lot, though. Yeah, yeah. He does feel a lot, this man. You have a baby. How do you have so much time? Voice memo that he sent out to me as it was raining and decided to talk to me. I don't know if you heard that over the weekend, but that was true not to listen to that. Well, I'm not seeing it, but essentially he was saying that it's crazy how these dark pictures anthology games have just been. I am pretty sure I didn't, but anyways, he was saying that this one's really surprising him and the other ones weren't necessarily his vibe. And it seems like he's not alone in that. A lot of the reviews for House of ashes are saying similar things. But anyways, a video plays at the end of the recently launched dark pictures House of ashes that reveals the devil in me the season one finale of supermassive games the dark pictures anthology. This reveals not only what the next game of the anthology will be, but also that the series will be split into seasons. The trailer, which can be seen in a tweet, reveals a grotesque tease of the devil in me, which appears to involve a killer creating a mechanized automation from human body parts. This suggests that the next game the dark pictures anthology may be less Supernatural than its three predecessors, which all have and feature go slash monster type foes and themes. When we may be facing in this next game, is something more in the realm of saw with a focus on a twisted human killer. I'm very excited about this. I'm also very excited to find out that House of ash's stars Ashley Tisdale. I learned that yesterday Andy and I'm like, well, maybe I need to play this game. Wow. The trailer also states that the devil in me is the season one finale. We already knew that the dark pictures would be made up of 8 games, but it looks as if those 8 will be split into at least two seasons. What this means for the next four episodes remains unclear, but it may be that the series has a longer break between the release of the devil and me, presumably in 2022 and the.

And we are talking about what happened with the coronavirus as some new blockbuster documents are coming out. Could it be a smoking gun? Could it be really the key documents? That indeed now according to the intercept, and it's 900 pages of it, and the folks who have read all 900 pages say it is a bombshell. Because it shows a direct link between Dr Fauci is organization with another organization called Eco Health Alliance. Then getting a ground and then guess what? It was funding gain of function highly sort of turbocharge viral, uh, inspections and projects and development. Guess where. At the Wuhan lab. And remember, Dr Fauci has denied it all along that No, there couldn't have been. The Covid couldn't have come from the Wuhan lab. Then he kind of backed away a little bit. But he has never conceded that there was gain of function. Nor has he ever conceded that U. S funds when specifically to gain of function. In fact, she got very like irate, a very defiant When he was doing that with Rand. Paul when there was that exchange on Congress, take a listen. Here's a little bit of the history. First of all, Remember Robert Redfield Maria had just called him was asking about why Dr Fauci was kept on during President Trump and I think a lot of it was just there was so much confusion. There was just so much chaos at the moment. It was just a crazy crazy time and people were trying to make sense of this. And look, We're just getting some of these documents. Now look how long it's taken to get some of this information. But the CDC director under then President Trump, Robert Redfield always had a suspicion that this was highly potent that it was not You know, made by nature that it wasn't in animals that it was man made that it was mass produced. It was sort of turbocharge militaristic if you will, because it was so potent and so toxic and you know, so deadly as we've seen around the world, and this is what the CDC director had to say. Remember when he was doing that CNN special. If I was to guess this virus started transmitting somewhere in September, October and Wuhan, September October. That's my own view is an only opinion. I'm allowed to have opinions. Now. You know, I am of the point of view that I still think the most likely Ideology of this pathogen and Wuhan was from a laboratory. Uh um, you know, escaped. The other people don't believe that That's fine. Science will eventually figure it out. It's not unusual for respiratory pathogens that are being worked on in a laboratory to infect the laboratory worker. And then, remember, Dr Thatcher was like, no, no, no, no. No. And then, finally he kind of gave an engine said. Well, maybe it came from the lab. But he has never admitted that any funds US taxpayer funds by the way. May have funded that lab and funded specifically gain of function Research, which everybody says is highly dangerous, potent for slips. Potential for problems and that indeed, maybe what happened. We don't know, but that is an option and felt she finally gave a little bit of an inch. Take a listen. The most likely origin is from an animal species to a human, But I keep an absolutely open mind that if there may be other origins of that there may be another reason it could have been a lab leak..

"Coming out now are showing that the that the metric that roughly correlates with viral load called the c. t. value in other words. How many times do you have to amplify a sample before. You see the infection. So the the higher the number the lower the viral load the lower the value the higher the viral load. So we're seeing. Ct values in some studies. Much higher in vaccinated another words. They have low viral tires compared to low numbers in the vaccinated indicating high viral titles. I know it's a little confusing. So that people who are vaccinated will not necessarily have as many viruses may not have as many and more importantly they decrease their viral load very rapidly compared to the unvaccinated. And that's probably the more important findings so if you're unvaccinated and get infected you will If you will excrete virus for much longer than somebody who was vaccinated and had breakthrough infection. So do is there. any word. Did that on how long to consider people Contagious or how long they quarantine changed the beginning. Because i don't hear people. I don't yeah. This is one of those things. I've often used the phrase. Were flying the airplane while we're building it and that's true for public health policy to so you you wanna see not one or two studies you wanna see the preponderance of studies. Repeatability generalized ability. Demonstrating the same thing before you change public health policy and so there's always there's always the science that's happening and the public health policy lagging behind and catching up with that and they have not yet changed that policy So we're operating under the same conditions. Okay that makes sense greg. I had seen That the former director of the cdc robert redfield had discussed that this fall. There may be an even worse variant coming than delta. You could have an impact on the amount of virus. It went from one to another. But that's not to say in a real life scenario that that's efficacious in the classroom.

Dr. Redfield Alludes to Lost Time Researching COVID for Denying Lab Leak
"This Wuhan lab leak theory is not just about did this thing leak from a lab or not. It is about a whole lot of other things that are explained by Dr Redfield. In this about 48 2nd clip right here. I want you to listen to this and listen very closely. Check this out. If this was engineered in a lab, What does that tell you about the potential for the variants from an engineered virus once it starts mutating? Yes. I think this is one of the reasons it's not just that it's mutating. This virus is replicating at a high capacity in humans. And as a consequence, the risk for variant evolution is extremely high. You know, we dealt with the UK variant. Everyone thought that was pretty bad. It was twice as infectious, but lo and behold, 34 months later, we have the Delta Variant announced the dominant spirit, the United States, you know, sadly, I'm going to predict that you know within, you know, 234 months we're gonna have another variant and that variance is going to be more infectious than the Delta variant. That's without this evolution is taking place because this virus got a jump start. By being one of the most infectious viruses in humans. Folks. I can't emphasize you enough. How important that appearance is, you don't need to be a virologist epidemiologist, a biochemist to understand how profound what He's what he's saying is. We lost years. If not, you know, months if not years here, focusing on a natural evolution theory of this virus. That would have led to a different pathway for treatments, Therapeutics and options to mitigate this viral disaster. We did that, assuming Dr Fauci and others weren't lying to us when they said there's no evidence. This is a lab leak that this was created in a lab. We now are almost conclusive. Nearly sure that this was in fact, a human engineered virus. Potentially a

Granted point stipulated a huge part showing china's malfeasance. But the big part of what redfield says here is once. we realized. Draw the conclusion that this thing came from a lab which looks obvious at this point. The way we handle it has to be different. It was engineered to infect humans. It didn't evolve over decades or millennia to infect humans it was designed specifically to infect humans and that means this if this was engineered in a lab. What does that tell you about the potential for the variance from an engineered virus. Once it starts mutating. I think this is one of the reasons it's not. Just it's mutating viruses replicating a high capacity in humans and as a consequence the risk for variant evolution is extremely high. You know we dealt with the uk variant. The american people is that because the president ordered hint to say what he said and his allegiance was to the president. And to the american people i grew up in a family of doctors and so i was very puzzled when i saw his statements and it was clear he wasn't telling the truth. I mean it was obvious to anybody. In the way that he was talking in the way that he was obscuring information. Saying i don't know if the president had oxygen. How does he not know if the president had oxygen. It just didn't make any sense. One of the things that i've found in the reporting of this book that really jumped at us. Was that the cdc director bob redfield who was very concerned about the president's condition. When he was in. The hospital called. Sean conway the president's physician when trump is at walter reed and he said to him. You cannot let this guy out of walter reed okay. He is way too high of risk. And we've seen this before they get these experimental drugs. they feel better for a day and then people backslide and they die it happens all the time and conley told redfield. You're right i know. But he's insisting to go back to the white house and so that just sorta showed that the doctor was kind of working for trump and doing what trump wanted and maybe that's how he felt what he felt his job. Responsibility was just to try to keep the guy safe as he could. But you ever able to talk with tam. No we tried. We went through the navy. Because he's he's a naval officer and they never cooperated the fact that trump recovered and as quickly as did i gather is due to the fact that these very special drugs not available to anyone else in the country were used on him. The try they were this monoclonal. Antibody really was a miracle drug in his case and it made him better and then on top of that he was given steroids. That made him feel like superman. And that's why he wanted to get out so it's like i'm a better. You know which obviously he wasn't. He was still transmitting. The virus and so when you asked earlier about missed opportunities i mean i think the fact that he came out of the hospitals feeling so made him think that you could whip this thing you know like what's the big deal people and he. He took the mask off and said don't be afraid. Live your life we can do this. And a lot of people believe that. I mean it was amazing to see how he recovered so quickly and so we had so. This is early october. So we're heading into october with millions of people thinking that the president had this kind of heroic recovery and the country can have a heroic recovery too and we all know what happened. I mean october was the beginning of the third wave and the third way was one of the most devastating three month periods in american history. The virus was just mowing the country down by thanksgiving. You know there were points. I think were three hundred thousand. People were getting sick a day and four thousand people were dying. I mean it was just a completely chaotic terrible moment in our history in it all really started that.

"But the interesting thing is when we talked to a number of government officials across the white house the health agencies elsewhere in government. Most people did not know the extent of his condition. Most people even in the white house even in his administration were kept in the dark when we asked a number of people. How did you find out the president was sick. Did someone call you. Did you get briefed. They said no. I found out from his twitter. I i woke up and saw the news from his twitter. So that's that's just an indication of how bad the communication was all around that weekend. And i even remember reporting at the time and talking to people at the white house who were so frustrated because they weren't getting instructions on how to protect themselves. What the protocols were at work if you remember. It wasn't just the president. There was a massive outbreak at the white house that weekend. Of course we report. When he goes that weekend he gets access to this. Monoclonal antibody from regeneration. Which wasn't authorized for use. At the time he gets this these great exceptions made for him. He makes a rapid improvement from there and we also reported that his doctors did not want him to leave the hospital when he did. He had only been in the hospital for four days at that point and he's in his late seventies he's obese. He doesn't exercise very much so he had ticked a number of these high risk category. So they're worried like yes. He's making an improvement but he could also have a backslide or organ failure because that happens with a lot of patients like him but at that point he's completely defiant and insists on going back to the white house. I mean in terms of the special treatment to go. Because i was politically important. He exceptions made almost at the level of of what sort of the fda suddenly grant extra new approval to drugs. That hadn't been tried before or with these drugs. Some people were getting. The monoclonal. Antibody wasn't available to the general public at the time. A drug like from desert veer was authorized for use but there were constant shortages of it. He got access to that. He got access to decks and zone which is a widely available steroid so a lot of patients can get access to that. But i think just the level of care he got and the fact that he was able to get access to this combination of drugs is something that would be unavailable to pretty much any other person you describe in the book. How one senior health official the director of the centers for disease control robert redfield. Will you say that that figure robbery iffy was doing at that time. He was praying the entire time. He and redfield was the one who told conley. Trump should not be leaving the hospital right now and conley said i know but he won't listen to me. He's really he's determined to leave. So redfield is praying this entire weekend. Not only that the president recovers but that he'll come and he'll have a moment of humility and he's going to finally tell people. This is serious. Where a mask. And protect yourself. If i can get it in the first lady and my son can all get it than anyone can get it. "This virus evolved from bats into some intermediate animal but has yet to be found in an eventually evolved into humans and then basically became efficiently transmitted among humans and the other is that this virus actually Went from a bat into a laboratory where in the laboratory, it gained the ability to become un efficient human human transmitter and those are both to hypothesis. And I guess if I'm disappointed about anything about the early scientific community is that there seemed to be lack of openness to pursue both hypotheses. If you look at SARS The Stars went from bad specific cat, and it went in demand. But it never really learned how to go efficiently, man to man. And as we sit here today, there's been less than 10,000 cases of SARS in over 18 years when you look at MERS, which is another coronavirus went from bad to a camel and then from a camel to man and as we sit here today, It still hasn't learned how to go efficiently Human to human. See Denver, Colorado in the corner there, But let's go to Dr Redfield Dude did an interview with Fox News Channel yesterday. There is no Oh, sorry. And Dr Redfield Soundbite number seven, um and former CDC director talking about the phony baloney World Health Organization investigation that the phony baloney Biden, White House and the funny Blown E G seven are saying Hey, maybe we should have these people that have already proved to be totally corrupt. Investigate again, even though their last investigation is the laughing stock of investigations, And here's Dr Redfield, there is no doubt that W was highly compromised by China. Um and still is. I don't think we can have a meaningful Uh, transparent investigation led by W H o. I think they're just too compromised. Um, um And But I do think that you know, the G seven of the world could potentially put together an investigative team if the Chinese would want to be part of that. But I think if we use these historical organizations, we're going to get more of the same. Well, that would be science. You see, because we've already run this experiment once and we already know the answer to that. And maybe CNN should ask Jeffrey Toobin. What he thinks about it His you know his his nickname at CNN is now Jerk. Says his nickname at CNN. His nickname is Jerk as Jack and his favorite, Chung says, I'm a Yankee Doodle dandy. He's Yankee Doodle Dandy. I beg to Dr Redfield. Um Toobin is still there, right. He's still at CNN is they just don't invite him to the zoom calls anymore. I think because Honestly, all their shows amount to pretty much the same thing when you boil it down, Dr. Redfield, um saying, Hey, listen, if the Chinese Communists had cooperated with the funny boy, you know, the head of the World Health Organization, Dr Tedros. He's he was installed by the Chinese at this U. N. It was Chinese backing that got this guy the job as the head of the World Health organization. And then when the Chinese let this virus loose on the world, um the who investigated and they got we can't find nothing. Does he Here Ain't nothing here. So here's Dr Redfield saying, If only we had gotten cooperation in January of last year, maybe the world would be in a different situation. The error that was made as I mentioned earlier, was not doubling down on demanding getting the president The man that The CDC get it into help evaluate this pandemic in January, 2020. I think if we had, um we would have been able to make a lot of, um, corrections in our thinking that would have impacted the American public. And then Dr Redfield used the You know, Jon Stewart suddenly had his eyes opened on this. The former alleged comedian. And, uh, and Dr Redfield, Smart man, CDC director and an all around smart guy. He, uh he said, Hey, you know that in Wuhan. They got the bats and they lied about. They said they didn't have bats so they were on instead of Iraq of Realogy. Sky News, Australia got video from inside the Wuhan Institute of Realogy showing the bets showing they're not being properly handled, showing that they could be infecting. People. And so here's Dr Redfield. You have to be suspicious. When you see a sequence in a bad viruses done in any other bad fires and say, Wait a minute. This raises concern, right? But I didn't think it was biologically, um, plausible that Covid 19 went from bad to some unknown animal. In demand now have become one of the most infectious viruses demand immediately. That's not consistent with how other Corona viruses have come into the human species. And it does suggest that there is an alternative hypothesis that it went from a A bat virus got into a laboratory where In the laboratory. It was taught educated, It evolves so that it became a virus that could efficiently transmit human to human with the help of funding going through Anthony Fauci's office, the U..

Why Were Scientists Sending Ex-CDC Director Dr. Redfield Death Threats?
"I want you to read along at home with me. This epic times headline. After Dr Redfield had come out and broken the dam on this And made it safe amongst leftist, not conservatives. We always believe in the truth, but left the stone. He made it safe to talk about, you know, Trump left office. At that point, They've done all the damage they could by playing down the lab leak hypothesis. Redfield goes public and look at this headline. Epic times. Jack Phillips, former CDC director. Redfield received death threats from scientists for supporting Wuhan Lab League theory, Hm. Folks, This is like a really, really On Put down herbal spy novel The only downside to the novelist, it's all real. He was getting death threats. Why we're scientists. Don't know their political affiliation. But I can make some assumptions so eager to get Dr Redfield to shut up that they literally wanted him dead. That's what a death threat is, and that's what literally means. Don't you think that's kind of strange? That scientists who was supposed to believe in science Questioning guy who's seen all the data who tells me believe it came from a lab that they're so panicked that they're actually sending him death

"7 60 wjr. Here's today's guest host Chris, Alberta. 3.5 million people around the world. Dead from covert 19 600,000 just here in the U. S. And Many of us still want to know who to point the finger out. Who's to blame in this? How did it actually start tons and tons of maybe not new information but more thorough information coming out. Joining us this morning, Dr. John Fleming, former four term Louisiana congressman, Republican of the fourth District in himself. Family, family medicine physician Dr Flemming. Thanks for joining what have you been hearing and seeing in terms of these congressional reports in terms of who's really to blame for this outbreak? Well, Good morning, Chris. Um, I'll also remind you that I spent the last 10 months of the Trump Administration as dipping deputy chief of staff. Working with Mark matters, the chief of staff and we were obviously watching this thing is it unfolded? What we're getting now is the Devon Nunez, who is the ranking member of the interpreting the House. Has been disclosing some information that points very strongly in a circumstantial evidence way that this had to be coming from the Wuhan lab. It's the only level four of our virology lab. End the whole of China, as opposed to the fact that their animal wet markets all across China, But this virus, of course leaked out of Wuhan. In fact, the Chinese literally shut down travel to and from Wuhan. Shortly after it began to spread. And so you know it. It appears very obviously, that is far more likely to have been something that leaked from the lab. Some of the earliest victims We're in Wuhan Aske far as we can tell the first victim. Um Patient zero is we call it in medicine lived in Wuhan, probably either local doctor or someone a scientists who were in the lab laboratory on We've had reports since 2017 that there been problems there. There's been a leakage of of things that are ambassadors. Been reporting that and with we've a source we could tell. The earliest victim of this was in late 2019 20 before it became a pandemic. Mm. Well, Dr Fleming, I You know, as as a nerd myself, I have done Hundreds of thousands of Wordsworth of reading on this and I have become very paranoid, frankly, of what I read because so much of it has some inherent bias. The one thing that I can't seem to figure out is that Why does China Why does us for so many years participate in these gain of function type of studies? I'II taking a virus that is known only to be deadly in an animal and find a way to modify it to Frankenstein? It Too attached to human cells. And furthermore, hasn't the United States in the last handful of years trying to shut down some of these studies? I don't have details on that. Obviously, it has biological weapons. Uh, potential. I mean, think about it if you were to develop A virus that was highly contagious and deadly as this one actually is, you could inoculate Silently stealthily your own military and maybe even your own population and then release it in another country. As you just said over well, over half million Americans have died of this millions of people around the world. And so it definitely has military interest. Now, whether we're doing this type of research in the U. S, I don't know. But as we all know that that it in China Military fuses and government in general fuses with everything, whether it is commerce or health care or whatever. And so you could say, I do believe this was an accident. Dr. Redfield, the former Head of CDC under Trump believes that it did accidentally leaked from that laboratory. But you see the potential where this could be very dangerous, and it's something that we bet we have to treat this almost like like nuclear weapons where we have Certain agreements, and we can even have mutual evaluation and transparency. Well, you know whether it's an accident or not, seems to be two of, you know, to a degree, a moot point. Certainly there's there's things that are accidental. Some of them happened from negligence, which would I would imagine had some role in this whole thing. But in the grand scheme of things, you know within our own borders if we do something negligent and accident occurs and And kills or hurts or infects. Thousands of people are hundreds of thousands of people were not indemnified from that. Unfortunately, it seems like with this scenario, it Z fairly irrelevant if it came from Wuhan, indeed, and even if that's proven what kind of You know, reparations. Will we get if any from them ever? I don't know that there is a gonna be a solution to that. Do you know I don't even think we'll get a simple in admission. From Damn. What we would like to see is that they disclose information. So we find out what went wrong, so it won't happen again. This is not the first time something like this has happened. From the room behind lab. It's just the first time it said worldwide impact, and so they need to improve their procedures, their safety procedures and so forth. But without international pressure and force of some transparency. Uh, dis could easily happen again. Yeah, well, Dr John Fleming. Thanks for joining us today. Thanks for your insight on the issue. "Control and Prevention. The CDC had been tracking a cluster of what looked like pneumonia cases in the Chinese city of Wuhan. They'd issued an alert told healthcare providers to be on the lookout for symptoms in patients who had been to Wuhan. And then January 17th 2020. The CDC made this announcement to further protect the health of American public during the inversions of this new coronavirus. Beginning today's CDC will be screening passengers on direct and connecting flights from Wuhan. Two days later, a man walked into an urgent care clinic in Washington state with a persistent cough. He had recently been in China, so he was given a test results came back the next day. Positive tonight, The CDC says the infected passenger passed through busy See Tak Airport in Seattle. The first confirmed US case of the contagious coronavirus, the very first confirmed case in the United States. Well as you can hear the CDC as the preeminent public health agency in the U. S. Has been at the center of the response to the pandemic. From the start. The head of the CDC is Dr Robert Redfield. He's in the job for five more days until January. 20th Dr Redfield I wanna welcome you and I want to start by saying thank you for your service. And what has been an unimaginably difficult year for all of us, and I'm Can't imagine how true that is for you and your staff on the front lines. So thank you. Well, thank you, Mary Louise. I am about to ask you some hard questions about the C D. C s performance over this last year, and I will begin here. Why is the U. S done so much worse than the rest of the world? You know, I think it's this virus has a unique ability to have differential pathogenesis and different people. And what it really does. Is it exploits? The underlying health condition of the individual infects. And so I would argue one of the reasons we're having more significant death in this country and then say, Sweden and because unfortunately The underlying health conditions with obesity, diabetes, heart disease, kidney disease, and the significant health disparities that we have in these illnesses in our nation haven't been effectively addressed. Absolutely correct to know that there are underlying health problems and racial disparities that have complicated this But in terms of how the U. S has responded in terms of how the CDC has responded, we're about to pass the milestone of 400,000 American deaths of nearly 4000 deaths just yesterday. Are you able to defend the Trump Administration's record on this is anything other than a catastrophic failure? Well, I'm actually very proud of the responses. CBC's done. I think if I have one criticism that I do believe is significant is the importance of consistency and unity of message. CDC. Obviously, you know, in April 3rd stress the American public the importance of wearing face covering a mask in that, coupled with social distancing and hand washing, and avoiding crowds really could be a new, enormous defense against this pathogen. If we all did it, but we all had to do it. Let me follow on a couple of things that you raise on public messaging. Your successor, incoming CDC director. We Shall Wolinsky published piece in The New York Times this week. In which she cites reports that quote White House officials interfered with official guidance issued by the CDC. Dr. Redfield. Did the White House interfere with your work? No, but there was review by different agencies again. Um my predecessors have just a pause. You there? 1st 2nd, sir. You're saying no, There was no interference. There was no undermining of CDC messaging throughout this I'm saying there was there at the end of the day that there was review and comments by different agencies within the White House, but at the end of the day The CDC published the guidance that we believe that the most important for the American public last September you testified before Senate panel that masks were an effective tool to combat spread. Also that a vaccine would not be widely available available to the general public until summer or fall of this year. 2021. A few hours later, the president came out, gave a press conference and contradicted you on both points. He said. You were Confused. Were you confused? No. I stand by my comments that mask our next extremely effective and what? I was trying the point out. If you had a vaccine, it was 50% effective and you were had the half it didn't. It didn't work in Your mask is your best shot. Dr. Wolin, skier and coming successor Also in this piece that she published in The New York Times this week, wrote this quote Our team of scientists will have to work very hard to restore public trust in the CDC at home and abroad because it has been undermined over the last year. She went on the gold standard for the nation's public health has been tarnished. How would you respond to that? That's just not true. The men and women is CDC are highly respected across this nation and around the world. Um, clearly, there's no doubt that the lack of reinforcement and support from some individuals in the administration of the public health message Had impact. But CDC continues to be the premier public health agency in the world. But when you say the messaging that the public messaging was a problem, What do you see as your role in that? Who do you ultimately answer to? Is it? The American people? Is it science? Is it the president? Not For me. It is. It's obviously science, data science and public service. I think you saw that for me personally when the president came out and contradicted you and said he's confused. Do you have an obligation than to stand up and say No, sir. Well, what I did was just repeat the position that I took. I didn't change the position. I just repeated the position as I did for you just now. I think it would have been, you know, Preferred is the nation. And in April when we recommended and I started wearing a mask and all of us that CDC did, and the doctors within the Scrotum virus task force did. It would have been very helpful if that was reflected by civic leadership. Throughout our nation that they all burn embrace it at the same time rather than, unfortunately, what appears to be this critical public health measure measure somehow God used as a political football. When you say the CDC has done everything it could to get the right guidance out there to get good public messaging out there. Why did the CDC stopped giving press conferences for critical months in the middle of the pandemic? Yeah. You know, I'm very disappointed in that. Again. The reality is you're in charge of it. So why we went back and looked at the numbers they in January. You did 10 media tele briefings in February. You did eight and then it fell off the cliff. There were two in March. Zero in April zero in May. Why Yeah, I would say you know that, ultimately that the ability to you do those briefings had to be cleared by the secretaries of health office for us to be able to do those? That's that's the system that's in place under the current relationship between CDC and the secretary of health. I want to point back to a moment I interviewed you in April of last year. And I asked you what Your sense was of where we were in the arc of this, And here's what you said. We're nearing the peak of the outbreak of endemic in our country right now. On, but I think we'll begin to see the curve begin to go down and I expect we'll see that continues aggressively decreasing chases. Over the next couple weeks across the country doctor revealed that was April 9th. What goes through your mind when you hear those words now. Well, as you know, Mary Louise..

"Welcome to the thick. This is a podcast about politics. Race and culture from a poc perspective. I might gain a wholesome and today. We have a special guest to close out our year. Joining us from my. Gosh i love michigan. Love ann arbor. Dr abdul el-sayed. He's a physician epidemiologist. He's author of the book healing politics and all round fabulous human beings. So welcome to the show. Thank you so much for having me. I'm really excited to be here. I feel like. I'm sitting in the computer version of my grandmother. Salonen alexandria so that's the vibe. I'm going for right here. oh. I love it. That was like perfect respect okay. What is grandma serving. What are we drinking. Tea or coffee or it'd probably be minty. Yes okay awesome. It'd probably be a selection of different cakes that you picked up from the local bakery. And i would always. I'm not a big drinker. And i didn't really discover coffee until after my grandmother had passed so i would always have raw cane juice that you can get freshly squeezed down the street as ought always pick it up and they'd serve it in this little baggie so it wasn't like it was like a bag you with a straw. That's the field we're going for here. We got it right. I'm so there of course. We are recording this in early december. So just take a note on that listeners. You know things might have changed in the news cycle where assuming that democracy will still have survived. But that's just a no for you. So abdul public health expert the former health commissioner for the city of detroit we are going into a winter. That cdc director. Dr robert redfield has worn. The reality is december. January and february are going to be rough times. I actually believe they're going to be the most difficult. I'm in the public health history of this nation. I'm a survivor. I'm public about that. So i have all kinds of feelings about this because at this point now. Early december win. We're recording this. Two hundred seventy six thousand people more than that have been killed by covid. Nineteen the coronavirus has exposed so many tributes in terms of structural poverty. Racism power black and latino working class communities you know have been devastated and yet also been in this country functioning in your book you write quote one of the abiding truisms in epidemiology is that the poor will always suffer more and worse. Yeah so we're clearly seeing this. A lot of us are thinking about the vaccine and what the vaccine looks like when we're thinking of the context of structural inequality and racism. So give us your sense. A lot of people are like okay with there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Yes but i'm more circumspect. We're still in this for the long haul. But i don't know you tell me. How should we be feeling about what's happening right now while i'll tell you this we didn't have to be here. And when we think about an epidemic and what creates an epidemic. I want folks to understand that while a virus is naturally and there's very little you can do to stop the epidemic or the pandemic that follows is a function of the choices we as a society make both before that virus emerges while virus is spreading and after that virus has taken its toll and right now. I'm feeling some kind of way about the choices that we have made the choices and that we are making. And i am optimistic about the potential for a vaccine and what a vaccine could do to halt the near exponential spread of this virus. But at the same time. Right when i look at all that has come before it. And the fact that we could not as a society invest in any sort of collective action right to bring down this virus. We could not come together. We could not see each other as worthy of our protection by doing something as simple as wearing a mask. We could not invest in the means of public health. I'm really quite worried. And i'm really frustrated. And so this virus. I think tells us something about ourselves as a society and what we need to do to be able to truly and deeply empower low income people and people of color and rough and do so in a way that brings us together around stopping the next one because if we don't there's nothing stopping another virus from emerging another pandemic from happening. I mean we think this is sort of a once every century thing. But that's just not how it works. There is literally no reason why any viruses out there like look you know. Corona virus came this year. So we'll wait a century until the next one emerges right and we've got to get some things right before serious about protecting folks

New Jersey to begin administering COVID-19 vaccine on Tuesday
"Joining me now is New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy, who state is averaging nearly 5000 new covert cases per day and will receive about 76,000 vaccine doses in this first distribution, governor. Thanks for joining us again. Good to see you when Will the first shots be administered. And how do you divide these 1st 76,000 doses between the health care workers and the nursing homes? What's a good to be with you? I'm happy to say that and I'll be there Tuesday morning at University Hospital in Newark, New Jersey, We will begin vaccinating our heroic health care workers. On You're absolutely right. The first batch of 76,000 split the majority toward health care workers but a good slug toward our long term care residents and staff and then with each ensuing week those of the two top priorities It'll take us a number of weeks as you could imagine toe work through the entire populations in both of those groups, But it Z going to be a big day on Tuesday morning in Newark. S O. After these initial doses are given to the health care workers nursing homes. How are you prioritizing Which group should get the next shot's Utah's governor, for example, announced school teachers would be in the first phase of vaccinations there. Do you know exactly who is next in your state? We're still working that through. I think every state is doing the same working with the CDC federal guidance the so called one a bucket, our health care workers, a long term care and then one B is a much larger group. Every one of them were the population of getting too early. We're working through that right now. Remember? Moderna is up for their emergency youth authorization this week on God willing, they get in. Then you've got not only increasing batches from Fizer. You've then got a second vaccine. Coming online with shipments each week on those larger populations will then be dealt with it. I think of it is in overlapping waves. You know we'll be doing. For instance, the second shot For health care workers long term care residents as we're beginning first shots for the broader populations in that one big group, and one of the biggest concerns now is ensuring enough residents get the vaccine to control coverage spread. A survey from your Health department in mid October found that Fewer than half of New Jersey's nurses would definitely or probably get vaccinated. What are you telling residents skeptical of taking the vaccine? Even nurses won't get it. Yeah, I think the number please. God as it relates to nurses and health care workers has gone up meaningful E because I think this confidence has been building around these two vaccines now pretty much on as a drumbeat for weeks upon weeks. Listen, Martha. We've got to begin with a skeptical anti vax block, which is a minority, but they're strong. And then you've got on top of that. What Some folks sense was the politic. Politics getting involved in the development of these vaccines. I would just say to folks First of all, we're not waiting until we get them. We've already been pounding away that these air safe, they work. On day. That's a message of repeat. Right now we have had our medical folks kick the tires up and down. We believe in these vaccines. They're safe. They work. We want people to get them. And I want to turn now to the alarming number of covert cases surging nationwide. This is a great hopeful day, but including a New jersey you've had a real surge, which averaged about five. There's a new cases per day this week. As we said CDC director Robert Redfield recently warned that for the next 60 to 90 days, we're going to have more deaths per day than we had at 9 11. What's the most important thing you're telling residents to do about this pandemic? Martha, for all the good news. The light at the end of the tunnel in the vaccine exemplifies that as much as anything the next number of weeks they're gonna be held. I fear so we're begging with people Toe. Please. Please, Please don't let your guard down even when you're in private settings. We think somewhere between 60 to 80% of our transmission is in private settings right now celebrate holidays small with your immediate family. We know that stinks. But please, God, that's your down payment for a north more normal one next year. Social distancing face coverings. The basic stuff we cannot let up on the next. I think six day weeks they're gonna be really challenging, but we'll get through it, but we got to not let our guard down. In the
