"Children's health care of Atlanta. Not like that should have gotten a clean sheet tonight. But Gyre Maru Foe and Allen Kelly. The B A R. Now apparently Howard Red Web Pro headquarters. All disagree. We're going to get all that in a second. So five clean sheets on the year for Brad Museum. Current donation total the Children's Health care Plan of $10,000. Is a longshore joins us up here in the radio booth. Now have a TV broadcast Go by the way. Very funny. I'm sure you were great. I would have liked to have had a better result to call Is a really good 45 minutes from Atlanta United first half. I think they were the better team. Um Marcelino Marinos in collusion made everybody around him better. That was what we expected Second half you give up a goal in the way we We've seen the scene give up goals before it's a giveaway on a goal kick. That leads to a corner that leads to a clearance. That isn't great. And a great shot from Kevin Clarke. Beautiful volley from Katie Clark. No question about it. What? There are some questions about other elements of that goal. Yeah, on and we're going to get to that here In a moment. In fact, I've pulled up the screen cap now. Today. I said this reminded me a lot of a goal in the 2018 Eastern Conference final that was ruled out by the yard was the same two teams is Atlanta United and Red Bulls. I have the screen cap. Now I'm going to tweet this in just a second. That's Brantley, right? Phillips, who scored and I don't know who the player is. That was in an interfering positioning screening action on Brad Bouziane, maybe one yard outside the six But this was ruled out. Five are write this one tonight with Daniel Royer scene. In my opinion, Jason even more clear cut. I thought it was because Royer is When the shot comes off of Clark's boot. Royer is 6 FT from Brad Guzan. Inside the six right there, and the explanation that we have heard is that he's not in the line of sight of Brad Guzan. Brad Guzan could see the shot. Okay, sure that that's okay. I can buy that part. But the shot is right at Daniel Roy. And Stephen Glass told us at halftime coming off the field magazine can't move. He can't Go to that shot because he thinks it's going to be deflected and redirected by Daniel lawyer who's in an offside position. He has to evade the shot. If that's not interfering. I don't know. What is It's a little different than the Bradley Wright Philips goal because that's a clear screen, but When you're in an offside position. The question becomes, Are you an active participant in the play? If you are stepping out of the shots path and the goalkeeper has toe wait to see if there is a deflection. You are interfering. You don't have to touch the ball to be interfering. You're interfering in the play. He's in an offside position. They gain advantage from it. That should have come back. That should have been looked at because in my opinion that needs gyre Maruf Oh, to take a look to interpret the situation. Well, it's Stephen Glass said. It's unfortunate because Wants Red Bull score the goal and honestly in so many ways. This reminds me of what happened at Red Bull Arena last May write down too. You had a guy in an MLS debut, a very young player score a goal against the run of play. Tonight. It was Kane and Clarke Last year was Tom Barlow. I mean, just incredible parallels. Atlanta United in absolute total control the match in the first half, but then Red Bull score. And that unwatched the door for them to do what they do, which is step up and press and be disruptive and take the oxygen out of the match. And then Marcelina Marino sub down the 60th minute, which is certainly understandable because he hasn't Been here very long hasn't trade with his teammates. Uh and it's just It stinks like this was one of those matches where you knew if he gave up the first girl, you were going to be in that kind of position. And that's what happened tonight. But up until that point as glass, he said, And I think you would probably agree with this. We're now talking for the first time, so I can ask, Um It felt like Atlanta United, even though they did not scoring, in fact, did not have a shot on goal in the first half. They were an absolute control. They weren't control the first half. No question. Atlanta was the better team. They got better as the 45 minutes went on. The brake derailed that moment. Um a little bit. They didn't. They never found it. We only saw a couple of minutes before the Red Bulls got the goal, but It's It's very frustrating because This is not the first time that we've had these kinds of conversations after matches. It doesn't excuse the fact you're not creating a ton of chances. It doesn't excuse That this team is still making some mistakes at times that they can't come back from. Look. The margin is very thin for this team right now, you know, the question is Miami's at a must win game on Wednesday. You have to play everything like it's a must win game because you're you're flat out right now. Not a good enough team offensively to expect anything. You have to play every game like it's a final. Right? That's where you're at right now. You and I think again to be clear on that Miami one tonight over Houston. So they are one point behind Atlanta United in 11th. Atlanta, United States above the playoff line. Ah! At the end of this weekend. As long as either Nashville loses to sporting Kansas City or Chicago loses or draws to DC I want to trust you see with anything right now National on the road, sGC. They would have to do very well to get a win there, although Nashville has played very well Over there was, in fact their they have eight results in their last nine matches, too. Don't count anything out. Um I also You know Jason's joining us now, But as I reported earlier again, Minnesota Dallas postpone tomorrow. Orlando Columbus. Very unfortunate. That was a big match that's postponed tomorrow. Covert problems on Columbus and Minnesota. The league is starting to really Have trouble now with the virus. That's three matches this weekend. Seven in the last couple weeks postponed due to cohabit. There was a scare involving D C. United. They almost did not play their match on Wednesday against New York City..

"In your browser. So that would work on a tablet or Chromebook. There's python anywhere, which is pretty awesome to there are few solutions. Right. But they're either brand new and didn't exist a year or two ago when you were doing this or they're maybe not quite as comprehensive like, I don't know. Python anywhere doesn't need like data science stuff that that's that's easy for you. Just have no nowhere in of that. So maybe let's talk about Jupiter hub before we move off the student story. I want to ask one more question. Right. So this is I guess programming for engineering, but it sounds like a lot of them have to take. This course, I suspect there's a little bit more of a challenge to write python and run python than there is too right? Matlab? I'm not one hundred percent sure I've done enough Matlab. I felt like you could just start typing in like the library. There's no import this or important things that you had to use is a little more formal to do by. How was that received by the students? You're like, yes, we gotta learn a real programming language or was it like, oh, you kidding me? Now, this is even. I guess I'd say it was the wealth of options was maybe the difficult thing for students because like you're saying you could run python python anywhere. There's also replid. There's also python tutor. There's also like Google co lab like they're all these different ways. And one thing that interest students, I think crave is just like tell me how to do it. Like, you pick the tool just tell me how to do it. And so what we decided on was to use Jupiter hub and my class. And so that sort of settled that you don't have to like install python, and you don't have to like go to any of these other sites and use their interface like which just going to be using Jupiter hub. That's what we decided on. Okay. Yeah. That makes sense basically Jupiter notebooks hosted. It's a server for hosting Jupiter notebooks on a central server. So did you get like a a super nice Lennox machine? Lots. Of course, you can they can do. Math on it or well, actually not needed. My laptop is plugged in here. Right. So let's let's like back up just a little bit. So to make sure that everybody knows what had Jupiter notebook is. So Jupiter notebook is a way to write and run python code. And it also contains things that are called markdown sell. So you can also text in them. So they're this great way for writing running play on code, and then explaining what the code does which is super useful when you're teaching in engineering class to have both of those things available. Explain what the co does. And then write the code and these Jupiter nut books, they just run in web browsers. So I was thinking when we we're doing the course like, well, if it can just run in a red web browser than maybe a student can like just open up a web browser and run it like they won't need to install python in their computer. And so it was like googling around and I found like Jupiter hub. Like it exists like project tubular created this. That was like awesome. This is exactly what I want..

"And we're back Malania is back with her triumphant return to holiday decorating. Yup. It is a healthcare. It is literally a hell scape voters one. Okay here. I'll just go through. So. Yes. This year's theme. They heard is trees made of blood. The theme was American treasures. And the the statement is the White House's decorations include a tree trimmed by gold star families make sense in array of topiary trees and mantlepieces featuring the skylines of New York City, Saint Louis Chicago, San Francisco, and here's some like concept designs, then she's literally walking around blood piles of congealed entrails of the downtrodden and. Then a really nice like wreath made out of be best pencils? Very, you know, I guess shout out to yourself. Harry craft. There's a yeah. I think that just like broke white like that tradition. The pickle explain it to us Zych Garin because we're too lazy to Google a rail pickle. No like ornament moldy. Rotten pitch sees the same one. It's hard as rock. Yeah. Speaking of holiday culture, people are rewatching the Rudolph the red nosed reindeer film, the old claymation classic. And they're finally coming around to affect that. I learned back in two thousand ten when one of the crack writers revisited it that this movie is wildly fucked up. It's crazy. It's amazing. How means Santa's to everybody?.

"In in a programmer can write a red web browser using web kid they of you know a lot of other kinds of kiss but a are kid is apple showed off in june at their developer conference in and say what you know coming this fall like in the next month or two uh i owe us eleven is going to have this built in new iphones you're going to have hardware specific to this and that's kind of tricky you do need to have some significant hardware because you have to it for aid for augmented reality or even virtually added work you need to know a number of things you need positioning in space what they call six degrees of freedom which ironically is the name of my uh my in the punk band six degrees of freedom would be left right backward and forward that's four i guess really that's too well i don't know is that tours at four there's than his pitch yawn role which if you're an astronaut her a air airplane pilot you understand is uh something else y'all role pitch yet combine those together you get somehow how you get six degrees item may i'm not a complete expert this is the x y z access in the pitch john roll excess anyway they are they become six degrees of freedom but that's not all you need for augmented reality that's what you need for virtual reality because the entire world if you're wearing of you know i advisor is on those screens you only need to know where somebody's head is in space when you get to all admitted reality got to know more you gotta you gotta know about the world out there is why it's so hard to do and microsoft has a product but they say will be out till 2019 2019 and sound like the featured as it sounds like science fiction twin 2019 you can but but this helmet called hollow lynn's on your head and would augmented reality it does is it superimposes computer imagery on the real world and that's why it's hard because there's stuff in.

programmer apple iphones augmented reality virtual reality advisor lynn developer microsoft six degrees
