Well, let's update the situation on the Beltway in Maryland, the outer loop of the Beltway after 95 before New Hampshire Avenue. They quickly move that crash over to the left shoulder. Then you'll find the delay from New Hampshire headed toward Georgia Avenue. If you're on the inner loop of the Beltway, delays from 355 toward Connecticut Avenue onto the ramp to southbound Connecticut Avenue and then again from 95 headed past Route 1 in College Park. Then an inner loop delay from Avenue Branch to Woodrow Wilson Bridge. The lanes should be open. Delays in both directions of the Beltway headed to a point near Van Dorn Street. There may be a wreck on the outer loop side near Van Dorn Street. We know about the inner crash loop with the delays on 95 in Springfield headed onto the inner loop of the Beltway. The delay takes you past 236 and Annandale but the earlier crash was after Braddock Road and before 236 along the left side. So that may fact in now be cleared out of the roadway. The FBI and DC police now offering a 20 ,000 dollar reward to help find two people who carjacked an FBI agent in DC yesterday. It on happened 12th Street Northeast. The two suspects carjacked the agent at gunpoint then drove off in the FBI car. It was found abandoned about a half an hour later. Now this is the latest in a string of high profile hackings in the nation's capitol. A member of congress, a diplomat and a secret service SUV have all been targets. New tonight, there have been nearly 20 robberies recently along a popular trail in Northeast DC but now there's an arrest. We were able to locate and one identify of the suspects and apprehend him. He's been placed under arrest. An 18 year old suspect is now in custody in connection with 18 robberies along the Metropolitan Branch Trail, a popular place for bikers and joggers. DC Police Commander Sylvan Altieri. We've had a series of robberies in this area for over a month either the on bike trail or the streets surrounding it. He says some were armed robberies where the suspects did have a gun. Abortion ban injunction upheld by N. Dakota Supreme Court
"North Dakota's ban on abortions will remain blocked while legal challenges against the law continue. North Dakota's Supreme Court just ruled the state's abortion ban can not be implemented, while a lawsuit continues that challenges the constitutionality of that ban. The ban was designed to take effect once the U.S. Supreme Court overturned roe versus wade. But the Red River women's clinic sought an injunction, saying abortion rights were protected under the state constitution. The clinic's director is praising the court's extension of an injunction granted last summer. The clinic has already moved its operation from Fargo North Dakota to nearby moorhead, Minnesota, where abortion is still legal. I'm Jackie Quinn
