"Of the situation at the U. S. Capitol on the MIC broom head show. Thanks so much for being here. Appreciate you. Spending some time with us President has said that he will. There will be an orderly, peaceful transition of power on January 20th, and I hope that that's the case. What happened yesterday makes us look like a banana republic. It makes us look like a third world country. And I don't believe that the vast majority of Americans that does not fit who we are, but we could say the same thing about everything else. I just responding some tweets where someone is talking about the BLM unanswerable protests throughout the summer. And where was the outrage? We all were outraged. Well, where were the other politicians like the What about them? That that comparison if you are someone who is comparing what happened yesterday, you're making the comparison. I'm not when you are comparing what happened yesterday and saying, Well, it's no worse than what happened with Antifa and BLM. I want you to think for a moment about what you're doing. You are taking Trump supporters and what they did yesterday and putting them on the same level of comparison. It's no worse than it's not or it's not as bad as Anti fun And black lives matter. That's what you've done. And what happened yesterday was an attack on the Capitol building, which has never been done by Americans before One time in 18 12 by the British Where they torched it. There is a historical significance to what happened yesterday that that mob of people didn't realize that they were setting off. And acknowledging it was a very small number of people in association with the group that was out there the ability for that entire mob of hundreds of thousands of people to storm that Capitol building was right there in front of them. When the doors were breached. When they got inside, and they overwhelmed the Capitol police. The rest of that crowd could have easily followed and they didn't And that's that story isn't really going to be told and it's a shame, but that's the way things are just like when we saw the protests in the streets around this country. For the Black lives matter. Protests the large The majority of people that were protesting didn't want violence. There are videos Of young black men and women shielding private businesses so the looters couldn't get into those businesses. We didn't see many of those videos. So there was a lot of good mixed in with the bad when we saw those riots as well. But when you're comparing one riot with another, you're still comparing riots. Don't like it either. It pains me to. I don't like talking about these things. I don't like being a trump supporter and having to defend myself against what happened yesterday. I don't like the fact that that angry, selfish mob yesterday took any good that was going to come from a trump legacy off the economy and of a vaccine and of other things. And have now reduced it down to that. For years. The National Guard in Ohio had a stain on them for what happened at Kent State University in the 19 sixties, and the Kent State University also had the same stain on it was what it was known for. Didn't matter what that school ever accomplished. Didn't matter when you graduate, everyone out to do didn't matter what happened. 10 state was known where those students were killed by the National Guard. And it's unfortunate it's unfair, but that's going to be the stigma. You've got. John Hinckley Jr doesn't matter what that guy ever did in his life. He's gonna remember be remembered for shooting Reagan. Lee Harvey Oswald killed Kennedy. What happened yesterday had to say historical significance. And I'm not overstating it. I, You know, I've said I'm a Trump supporter. But what happened yesterday was damaging. What happened yesterday has big implications and if you try to make excuses for it We're in trouble. So now the president has said there will be a peaceful transfer. There will be an orderly transition of power on January 20th. And good. That's the way it should be. What we look like moving forward as a country. What we look like moving forward is how we deal with what's happened. There are going to be people that have hated Trump for the beginning. I've got a friend today that hates Trump. So I'm a part of the problem because I should have seen this coming four years ago. It should have never supported him. And it is on..
