"Lisa Boone first let's talk about Donald Trump So this is the second day now in a row The grand juries being sent home without an indictment You know you're pretty familiar with the legal process I mean that old line you can indict a ham sandwich is accurate It's not adversarial You walk into the grand jury room and you only tell one side of the story It is almost impossible to not indict someone There's no defense attorney there You could say almost anything Lisa as long as you don't lie What does it say to you that after two straight days now Two straight days There are apparently unable even in New York City to get an indictment issue I mean this is police state stuff at this point Well you know and we're talking about New York City right So we're talking about a left brain liberal city Right so it's not even indicting I mean it's even worse than that because it's New York City So I am praying this means that they're not going to move forward with an indictment against Donald Trump because I mean we know what that would mean for the country Dan I've really been thinking about this and thinking about just the basic question are we still constitutional republic And I don't know if we are Dan I mean we look more like an authoritarian nation than a country that believes in the rule of law that believes in freedom and liberty And so we know that this would set us down a really dangerous and dark path as a country

"You know Lisa this is one of the reasons I really only like you in a very select few people to guest host to show I don't hide it I only like people who are an ideologically aligned and we agree I don't think it's a constitutional republic anymore either I mean when you look at the old Soviets like beria and his infamous line show me the man I'll show you the crime How do you not apply this to Trump I mean it's obscene at this point The collusion hoax the whole impeachment thing The FBI and the DoJ I mean literally spying on him We have the names of the two spies it did it Efforts to sabotage his campaign is Libya You're not obligated to like the guy at all Obviously it's supposed to be a constitutional republic But there's supposed to be institutional safeguards against the government doing things like this That's a limitation and otherwise And they just seems when it comes to Trump It's all been thrown in the bonfire Well yeah that's the thing I mean they look at Trump as a trophy And you look at what they've done to try to get this trophy to try to put it up on the wall to try to say that we finally got them I mean they've destroyed the country in the process right You look at the wreckage that they have left in the wake of trying to go after Donald Trump I mean we don't have faith in government anymore I mean I've always been skeptical I've always lacked faith I have no faith now They've corrupted the Department of Justice They've corrupted the FBI And so in the process of trying to get Donald Trump they've destroyed the nation And so I don't know where we go from here You know I hope that this grand jury I hope that the Manhattan DA's office I hope that they don't move forward with this Because I don't know how much more country can take

The Fed Has Two Options: Bank Failures or Inflation
"You combine this with our troubled economy how to listen during the break So Dan are you going to address the rate hike yesterday in the economy Yeah you're damn right aim because we're in a lot of trouble folks The fed right now our government we have two choices And we have only two choices The Federal Reserve and the Biden White House we have two choices right now The choices are a pick your poison No matter what the fed does you are either fighting against bank failures or you're fighting inflation You either going to get inflation or you're going to get bank failures coming up There's no option C I'm sure of it Remember this show and remember the date The fed rate raised their rates yesterday 25 basis points Not a huge hike They were doing 50 basis points before But real interest rates are still negative Meaning inflation is running at 6% the fed target rate now is about four and three quarters So effectively the real interest rate is still negative because four and three quarters is less than 6 which is the actual inflation rate which arguably is not arguably I believe but it's much higher I don't think the way the feds even calculate calculating inflation is accurate Here's the long and short of it The entire economy has been feasting on low interest rate money for a long time If this is complicated stop me in the audience send me a message and say you're born us too complicated I'm fascinated by this stuff But for years we have had zero or near zero interest rates So if you owned a company what would you do If you could borrow money where the real interest rate is negative on that money Think about what that means That means the money is effectively free That means you could borrow money to run your business and the value of what you borrowed goes down and down and down is real interest rates are negative It's effectively free money

"Here's Christopher wray when he was asked directly this question his response Check this out There's a suggestion for example that the FBI's confidential human sources or FBI employees in some way instigated orchestrated January 6th That's categorically false Did you have confidential human sources dressed as Trump supporters inside the capitol on January 6th prior to the doors being open Again I had to be very careful It should be a no I mean it's a pretty simple pretty simple question Who is that congressman Is that Higgins That is it Are you okay You're going to die Jim seriously look like he was going to choke to that I was ready to go right to break Mike if you standing by really you ready to do the heimlich maneuver on this guy Yeah good I asked him a question at the wrong time Folks it's kind of a serious question Did the FBI have informants Now again don't get confused here The confidential human source is not necessarily mean it's a government agent They may be acting on behalf of the government but they're not a formal agent as a GS 1811 government agent It could have been say a member of a proud boy group or whatever it is that may have flipped and what they call third states evidence whatever they say in the movies But this letter from one of the lawyers from one of the Proud Boys I don't care if you're a liberal communist Democrat whatever you are This letter should be deeply disturbing because if this letter is true the allegation from one of the attorneys for one of the defendants if this letter is true that the FBI had sources on January 6th in there and some of these sources are still gleaning information from the defense team Then again forget arguments about the coming police state The argument about the police state which I've been making for weeks is that it's already here

"So I totally agree with you when it comes to the Republican primary in the Republican base And I think it could It could cinch the Republican primary for him Over who we all know to be the closest FrontRunner Ron DeSantis right I'm not making that call I'm just saying it could be the deciding factor right But here's the thing And I want to talk this out with you I don't know about the general Now here's why I say that Okay you're right about the stormy Daniel stuff That stuff's baked into the cake That ain't changing anybody's mind right I think that your challenge Dan bongino And my challenge will Cain is this Do we know that what this story is truly about is a two tiered justice system And I can go into the details of it and I can talk about the fact that no DA would ever pursue this including the previous DA or federal prosecutors that it's a misdemeanor that it's run past the statute of limitations And I can lay out the case about why this is so weak and therefore it's a political witch hunt I can lay that out right But the only people that are really going to take the time to listen to me on that are the people that care and know right away And that is the Republican base that sees the details is invested in understanding and sees that therefore the two tier justice system What my worry is Dan There's this other thing out there And I don't know what the better word for it than zeitgeist And it's just sort of the people who accept the news and it washes over them right And when it washes over you all you collect is a few details And you have to have these people to win an election You have to have some of these people in the general And again I don't think it's the stormy Daniels aspect I think it's going to be like this idea that Donald Trump broke the law period That's what they'll say right And what they're going to do by the way is run probably run the same play three times They may run it in Georgia and they may run it when it comes to Mar-a-Lago And you and it comes back to me and you and everyone out there to try to persuade those people who I don't think are dug in lefty Those people are lost right Don't worry

Robert Sirico: Government Is Too Stupid
"The story often on the show but it's worth repeating I was running for office one time and I was up in the mountains the only station that came in with C-SPAN and they were covering a speech you were giving and you said something that I really stung in it and it made a lot of sense You said something to the effect of It's not that government's too big folks It's that it's just too stupid In other words it just doesn't have the capability and the depth of knowledge to figure out every human problem And it was just so well said So elaborate on that point Well there are two dimensions to that First it's stupid because it becomes bureaucratized So it removes people who are solving the problems from the problem So the bureaucracy is so far removed from what's going on on the ground that it enacts programs that are stupid It doesn't hit the target but the second point and it's a more complex economic point is that socialism itself the centralized planning that government does Really blocks our ability to know what real issues are It does this because it impedes entrepreneurs from finding out the real cost of things Things like this This is a point made in that beautiful parable you may have heard I pencil that Leonard Reed used to tell that you don't know what the supply and the demand is if you have bureaucrats and regulations and taxes in the middle of it So it's stupid in that sense as well

There was a study that came out of israel about natural immunity and basically the headline was that natural. Immunity provides a lot of protection even better than the vaccines alone. What people to make of that. So so as we talk about vaccine mandates there i get calls all the time people say i've already had co vid. I'm protected and now the study says maybe even more protected than the vaccine alone should they also get the vaccine. How do you make the case to them. You know that's a really good point sanjay. I don't have a really firm answer few on that. That's something that we're gonna have to discuss regarding the durability of the response the one evening paper from israel okay before we get into what he says with the derbyshire durability of response how do you initiate a public policy for the entire country mandating. The you have to get something if when asked the question point blank you say that's a question that we have to consider and the funny thing is that this is just again look. I know it's easy to get distracted about this. Because you know. I have Such a way with words and because we're right about everything that you think of us as some type of experts or that the the people who are so on point when it comes to politics but we're a couple a dumb ass fucking comedians. the.
