"Several come together to stop the expansion. Yeah and Vicky did you want to. Do you want to speak to that as well. Because i know that you've been involved in this for a while and you've been engaged in so much important activism and advocacy around this both inside and outside. Yes thinks him. On monday wednesday. He wrote some on a un woman and To to pay my respects to an acknowledge the country. I'm on and The emphasis traditional knowledge capers. Obviously and Yeah the the team is the fans in prison and Is happening not too thin victoria at all as the country The the huge prison and build up in grafton now They pay a say in the time. It always been knows released in two thousand night. They just saying given a twenty five million two upgrade the prison and Yeah we're seeing. That would be extra beds and things that wasn't The presents they just don't on the program was go better popular. And that's him out. Joe he's out of it with to new pathway They built a wealth. It building where you could just go knock on the door and I to say the welfare office out and she was in. You know he could ask yourself have you time when we come back But this new building that met at some short. And i put all the world's his up stands behind lost door and She had today to screw. I came to Vehicles shape would decide whether your request to see a welfare is was Whether or not and the making an appointment not so Twenty five million testing that. Do to stop. It was A million dollars recreational facility. That's scary just app. saw the Well the prison which was apparently poorly patron not and I think what else. I don't think expanding prison or the money that they're They're putting out fan. The prison is Well cokie will be used to expand women's That's not what made it. What made it is the closure of that prison altogether old The expansion if they pants take corresponding with the number of women who are being criminal on and encapsulated to crumbs of property Britain bridge the borders not even crime rations of administrative orders It's mentioned It will not do what the public thinks was tone. It will do with them say because like everybody gets have and much women in prison have keble short sentences. It's this whole Campaign has been born out of that The correlation between the maze for housing public housing not special housing affordable housing which is still unfolding seventy marketing as market price We made more public housing and that as So in One of the greatest contributed to women in criminals. Yeah absolutely thank you so much for that star and vicky. It is clear that you know as vicky really put a clear points on. Women are being criminalised at for crimes of poverty and with the raymonde system as it is right now. I don't think people are quite cognizant of the sort of revolving door of being criminalised for poverty. Going into the prison system coming out of the prison system with no support and that lack of housing is really a crucial part of it. So gabby. I might turn to you. The victorian parliament is currently holding an inquiry into the state's criminal justice system which is looking into factors including the growing ahmad in prison populations in the state questions around recidivism and judicial processes. So i was wondering how these inquiry came about and Could you tell us a bit about your concerns in the homes. Prisons mission Yeah sure festival. Just introduce myself. I'm gabby. I'm coming from the unseeded lens of the war injury people's so i'd like to pay my respects And also to acknowledge that prisons and policing on mechanisms of ongoing colonization here and so code. Australia star it's knowledge that as I guess a k. Pot of the prisons ideology In terms of the inquiry. It re it came about because it has been know a lot of widespread concern over the last few years. you know. often violent. Parole reforms have seen an increase in prison populations And also you know the judiciary having less sentencing options as well in terms of giving non-custodial sentences i think There's been real concern or the crisis the prison population and the high recidivism rate which not one hundred percent show but it is a a forty percent. I believe People who get out of prison move are back within two years So you know way really kind of seeing that.

"Company so moving right along. oh no. i've got a mute. Someone here actually. I'm just going to ban any time. I see one of these. Hey do you wanna be famous on twitch kinds of comments. I'm just going to ban them. The other major piece of video that i put out don't upgrade your phone just for a better camera and this goes hand in hand with my how tech reviewers get cameras wrong editorial and i did a sort of a video companion piece to this talking about how we kind of. We kind of hype train. We kind of explode on new camera announcements. Like oh my gosh. did you see the iphone. Thirteen it's going to be getting all new cameron. It's going to be so much better than the previous camera. But we don't really test for their claiming when they talk about a new sensor new design so trying to isolate all of the other variables of computational photography different pixel binning arrangements and all of the other pieces and parts that go into making a camera. I tried to whittle this down to only focus on the arguments made when people talk about sensor size. So if you want with math and showing my work see. This is what's so frustrating. I showed my work. I spent days verifying all of my numbers all of the math. Double checking all of the all of the a computations to properly showcase picking the right phones to show. Examples of this is what you get from this one sensor size another sensor size larger sensor size and of course i made to hilarious typos in that video. Talking about like sensors. I don't know what it is. I have the hardest time representing fractions and in my brain one over. One doesn't make any sense it. I don't know what it is. It's hard mental block. So anytime i had a sensor that was larger than a half inch. That's a one over one point something censor like if you had one over one. That's just a one one inch center every every other phone every other phone. That had a larger than half inch sensor managed to goof somewhere in that video mislabeling. The sensors is but i got the math right and i was showing the right comparisons. I labeled them incorrectly. So i'm good at what i do. Moving right along we We had a banger. Show t kanai for best of our week again if you want sort of the more indepth and the more positive spin on what apple might have put out there. We really wanted someone on that. I feel big. He gets a bit more philosophical with with his tech. Reviewing than the average bear we had josh for gara and isa's isa does tech josh and isa joined us for best of our week and i love the keywords that tk put in the title iphone thirteen. Thirteen minutes thirteen pro. Thirteen promex xiaomi eleven. T eleven pro vivo. Seventy plus youtube job. We don't want to have to do things like that But you got the only way in any kind of attention from youtube ope please. Youtube validate my experience. And then lastly one of the major projects. And i was so happy to be a part of this because i'm intermittently still doing some work with new egg. I'm not. I'm not one of their contract hosts like i used to be but i like to be able to show up and contribute to a conversation on tech that i. I really enjoy usually. That's more like components. So when a seuss launches a new range of motherboards. I jump into a stream and we chat for three hours about like new motherboard technologies but this one was near and dear to my heart and i was so stoked to be a part of it. It was the invidia partnership with new egg to chat about invidia broadcast and anyone rocking in artifacts. Gpu i believe twenty sixty on up. You can jump on this free software. That does an incredible job of filtering out background. Noise gives you all these fun like camera tricks that you can. You can mess with a background. Replacement background blur etcetera etcetera. Really really sweet. I i've been using it for a bit just to see if anyone would notice when the air conditioner kicks on or when a truck rumbles by and it's real good. It does the job very well. I've even been able to like keep fans running my office while producing content just like completely melt on camera so that one was really great and we actually had one of the product engineers responsible for developing. I talked about this early last year when the first beta of artifacts voice came out. And it's still stupid to me that this works as well as it does. I mean like it's one step removed for magic because it's kind of like noise reduction in your headphones but its ability to scalpels out. Noise highlight the human voice and return that level of of processing in almost zero lag conditions. Doesn't make any sense to me like the. It's the quality paired with that immediate return that that near zero latency return. I get it. I really don't. I don't understand how that can work. But it does. And it works really well. So the reason why i'm also highlighting this. Because i don't always talk about all of my new egg streams here on the podcast. I'd like folks to know that the the new egg ninjas are giving away an msi laptop one of the creator badged laptops with an arctic gpu. And if you go and check out that video there are links in that description to take you to a contest page. I believe the contest is going to be running for another couple of days. So if you're catching this on broadcast day or if you're catching this part of the replay crew you've got time to go try and score yourself a baller laptop and if you wanna see my thoughts on that laptop. It's a variation on the creator. Fifteen that i reviewed on my own youtube channel. And it's real nice. It's not a gaming laptop. And i think that's what's so interesting is kind of wiggles back on that idea of for me when i was starting to do a lot of mobile production. We were looking at these insane workstation laptops and they were prohibitively expensive to get like a video editing rig in clam shell portable and so most of us were rocking gaming laptops. Is this kind of interim step where we knew. We could get a dedicated. Gp we knew it was going to handle video editing software better and now there's something kind of inbetween. Their creator laptop can play games. Well it's got a good. Gp you in there but it's not a gaming laptop. This is a work machine. Excuse me but it doesn't crossover into that kind of more. Ultra premium. Tier workstation grade kind of kind of setup. I mean again. It's kind of tricky to delineate but this is why i get really excited about. Laptops again is because we can make those distinctions. We can't have a workstation phone we can't have a pro content creation phone. We only begrudgingly allowed. The market to include more gaming phones. You know it's it's. It's so silly to watch laptops find this kind of renaissance and then look at phones and be like is it a premium thunder mid-ranger brew. That's so regressive. So that's gonna do it here for housekeeping again. I was a great week. it wiped me out. I did so much talking. So i'm gonna drink just a little bit of water right now. Raymonde it made it so So welcome welcome. Let's see oh did you. That's that's really kind then. I just wanna to highlight this where it is common go. That conversation was awesome again. It's just to say like. I think this is cool. It's another part to say like this is a really cool idea. It's accessible to older hardware. Because i'm not running a current artiach running a twenty eight. So i'm not even on like the cool hip thirty sixty s or anything like that but it was also just demonstrating it live. Everything that failed in that livestream was not the broadcast software. The broadcast software..

"That would not make you better you with their. And i'm gonna go there which you but i'm gonna wait one second now slick. Here's the biggest issue been simmons. I know he leaves it all on the court lease. i assume he does because he's a tremendous player three-time all-star two time all defensive. So i'm not going slide his efforts but when he goes to bed at night the problem is he still in the balance in terms of perception to all those evaluators out there. There's some great. Ben simmons and there's some bad ben simmons so people look at them in and that's a problem when you're a like ben simmons. When you're great. Talent like ben simmons you should never be imbalanced because great should never be good. Here's the thing about this though. You brought draymond green. And i'm not trying to ship jerry walgreen outta town but if i get a young been simmons. Four draymond green. I'll have to start to consider that. Why if you look at them in terms of assists in terms of play making dry miles. Amazing simmons's ben simmons so in terms of the sis- category. Oh this is not even better last year rebounds. Better rebound in his raymonde. Y'all hear me ben. Simmons is now. Let's talk about points. I'll giving you some buckets. He can't shoot. But you could get just buckets. His worst points for game is better than mas. Best points per game now. J. asked to go out there and be steph curry get. He asked to have curry. What the point is if. I can now exchanged something. That's better in a lot of major statistical categories including birth certificate. I gotta consider that. If i'm really running my franchise correctly i'm listening slick. Yeah no fair fair you have to consider it and then you have to realize that while the statistics may be in favor of ben simmons. The intangibles more not. I cannot afford to have a quiet. Ben simmons when the loudness of draymond. Green is an important element with this team. Because i've already got klay thompson. Who's quiet and i've got a steph curry. Who is quiet. But he's also not vocal. I need that lightning rod. That is draymond green. That gets everybody going and certainly ben. Simmons is not going to do that and if you look at per thirty six minutes if you look at production her minute. The numbers change a little bit. The reality is the ben. Simmons plays more minutes so as a result his numbers are a little more robust and the other element. That i can't take away or that. I can't ignore is the chemistry. That draymond green has with klay thompson and steph curry now. Ben simmons playmaking abilities. Maybe he might get there but these guys came up together. And if there's anything. And i dare say both that you guys know this. At some point you played with guys and you've looked across the locker room and you said we're dogs. We're going to get it together like we're this means something to us and it means something to us because we collectively are going to get it. That's what draymond clay and steph have that. Even if you bring in andrew wiggins or a kelly oubre you're trying to feed them a little bit of that feeling but they were there from the beginning. They didn't go through the rough times. And then you know. Go from the lows to highs. I can't ignore that element when it comes to the warriors and their chemistry and their ability or hope of recapturing. Some of their previous magic. Look the cultural. Osmosis of ben simmons around steph curry and klay thompson everyday. I'll roll the dice to see how that would benefit been stem changing his game and his mental outlook towards the game. I would like that i love. I love the lightning rod but also that lightning rod got katie out of town. Because it doesn't always work in your favor. Now you overhear considering. Ben simmons where you could add k. d. Oh so it's good to hear you sell me that olson late for that but it's not too late to call you know call out nostalgia you over here saying hey. We all came up together. Yeah i came up with trey wingo. Michelle beedle mass kellerman and chris and and look at this. I chose the bill. God hey this thing keeps spinning. So let's keep on talkradio coming up and coming up. Dak prescott got paid a lot of money on meet a whole lot. But he's not playing right now. We'll tell you feel live up to his contract in a first year the first year. That's next speak for your so. Let's get back to that. Got the right shoulder strain well at the same time coming back last season ankle surgery. Cowboy's quarterback got seriously paid us off season orange. Seventy five million dollars season alone last night. He was asked by our own michael spray hand if he feels any pressure off his injured contracts. I've i've said before. I think pressures privileged. I'm just excited to come back from from this injury. Donald everything that had to do to get my body ready Obviously getting the contract on knowing that my future's here in dallas on just excited to get back out there my teammates and put my best effort for that. The most positive job exciting. You're long my dog. I missed michelle album ourselves. We'll dak live up to his contract in year one absolutely They owed them back. Pay for them chief years. They had them so yeah. He's going to live up to last time i saw dak prescott healthy have forty nine hundred yards. Dak prescott was balling. Last time. i saw him healthy. Visit last sam even in a shortened season. We'll see all pays to sit in a fill records in the passing game year. So of course he's going bald. Of course he's going to live up to this contract in year one because this team is also going to make it to the playoffs. They're gonna win a division being a play offs all check. Check check in terms of success. Now let's talk about what dak prescott just show. Joe jordan brand got is free. Y'all first of all he's the jordan brand athletes. Everything you hit the toll. Free data dude. Why smell is so happy out so everything. You got his free any got breed. It's crazy but he talks about not the burden of expectations but the comfort of expectations. I'm dak prescott baller. I hate when people want to go out there and undermine is slight guys who get paid. This is why i hate it. Not because you may because they got more money you get that the envy the problem is they put themselves in that position to get paid because nobody is getting paid when they don't put themselves in a position to get paid. I hear y'all now. Y'all got example over example and every one of those dudes. I can give you more examples of somebody begging. They could be in that position to get paid. They don't hand out money. In pro sports you earn it and take it and deck is taking his what he deserves. Which is a contract. And he's going to live up to that prescott can't live up to his contract. You're one and it's not debt prescott fall it would be performance impossible for dak prescott to live up to his contract in your one. Here is why. I say this gentleman the last quarterbacks to have won a super bowl they made on average eleven. Point eight million dollars in that year. The last ten quarterbacks to one in mvp or the last players to win an mvp they made on average thirteen million dollars in that year. That prescott is making seventy five million dollars this year so that prescott could both a superbowl winning. Mvp and he's still oh about fifty million dollars because the cost it takes to win the super bowl for quarterback says roughly seven point eight mill cost. It takes to win an mvp's as it takes roughly thirteen meal and has commanding seventy five so as not dax fault. But there's literally no way for him to live up to that contract in year one. Could he live up to it over the course of the contract possibly could he live up to it over the course of the contract likely but to do that all in.

"That keeps the possibility of them actually using the full seventeen million dollar trade exemption alive that just makes me feel like of life a lot easier they're gonna be paying out the years in luxury tax that's happened one way or another but the lower that cap goes next year it was estimated to be like a hundred and ten million again we I've heard it is low is eighty five perhaps but if it stays above a hundred and you're like I'm having to pay to three dollars on the dollar in luxury tax that's a really big deal and that allows lawyers to be more aggressive this offseason and next to go out and get guys to surround Raymonde play and stuff now we can say those three guys are are good enough to win a title you're gonna want some help around that's just the new reality they're still Kevin Durant is the ultimate trump card here MBA long ago ceded control of the players and it has been an absolute gold mine for the Golden State Warriors and I don't think it's gonna stop the only question is when they held the season start up all right we're gonna take a bit of a break anyway came B. V. P. and you're nowhere close to that level we know we're close imagine dream on winning the MVP what type of psychotic alternate universe that would be he's no where close to good enough but here is train mine of course dropping is rang the table and acting like you can't sit at my table again somebody should remind dream on green how awful he's been this year without staff without the cuddly blanket that's the splash brothers Draymond green this year has been absolutely awful not somewhat awful not kind of awful but flat out disgraceful awful because you know this season without all those other guys there jure mine could have developed into the leader Draymond could have been the go to guy Raymonde could have single handedly made the rest of his teammates better or stacked up at least a bunch of stats to allow people to say oh you see when he's got to do it when he can happen when you have to carry the load you can but he's done none of that not only have the warriors being one of the worst teams well the worst team in basketball so he's not translating into wins he's not making anybody better he's also not doing anything on the floor do you realize that with dream on on the floor this year and with a one hundred million dollar contract extension among power forwards three months not even in the top fifty in rebounding that's his position he's the only guy on the floor supposed to get rebounds for that team he's not in the top fifty player efficiency rating this is where dispatch nerds will drill down and say well dream on does destiny does that it helps you hear it it's all these things you can't see you realize he's not even in the top one fifty in player efficiency rating guys like Joe fun day green and Nicolo Melli better than him in P. "On the call staffing Steve Kerr after the game this is all good news for the warriors all of it is good news you get your guy back in staff staff comes back and plays well immediate jolt to the arena immediate jolt to the team staff is passing sex someone last night looks like it might take a little bit of time for him to get back into Steph curry Superman bowed worries pitting every shot from beyond twenty eight feet but no matter what this is all really positive for the warriors if you were a warriors fan you finally feel like okay we got our lives back here and Steve Kerr kind of talked about how this is the start of next season in many ways it's been kind of a death March this entire year without any of the guys and the arena is beautiful and it's kind of a new chapter in warriors franchise history and yet they're just kind of waiting time out until they get their guys back so it's all good news in the warriors go into next season now with a little bit of juice final twenty games staff comes back we'll get clay back in the offseason and bingo Bango but I have to say I don't believe the warriors will win a title again I don't I think that the warriors have become a good team and interesting team of what they cannot be a championship team again you might say come on D. A. just because they lost Kevin Durant they've won a championship without Kevin Durant they went to two NBA finals won seventy three games without Kevin Durant it's not just Kevin Durant they have now paid the money all of the money in two clay Thompson who's a free agent last year they have a locked up Draymond green as well for a four year extension a hundred million dollars and the money here to Steph curry means they can't bring back any other big contracts they've now spent all the cash that they have all those three gods aims Raymonde is very clearly no longer dream on green take his effectiveness added I know that he was without clay and staff this year but dram on has been awful this season hold a lead in effective I mean they're still points to be had in rebounds to be had when you are on a team without the stars because there's a lot of possessions there's a lot of points in the NBA he's been sold ineffective and so inefficient they drain mind is not going to be getting better at this stage and you spend so much cash on staff dream on and the clay you can't afford to have the guys like Andre good Dahlin said Livingston the deep bands that they once had to help supplement the roster fighting to the warriors are really interesting I think the warriors will be really interesting I think seeing what type of level you can get staff to as a guy the canal carry a team or will have to carry the team with just him in clay and not cut to the next level with a guy like Kevin Durant that's interesting I don't think their championship team anymore and I don't think they will be because of the money they have to allocate to those three guys and how ineffective streamlined he's in hell on movable that contracts going to be for the next four seasons I'm interested to see staff and clay have put this team on his back but I really do believe that the window closed for them in terms of winning a championship once they had to pay all the cash to those guys and they couldn't have that deep roster veterans I enjoy awakens I liked as a maneuver I'd like this acquisition it's an asset that you got back for losing Kevin Durant but we also know that Andrew Wiggins is never going to be a great player and maybe he can be a good supplemental player but it's not to me and now to make me believe that the warriors said only involve themselves next season back in that championship conversation eight five five two one two for CBS eight five five.

"I will just keep getting better ways common and those are just some guy that a lot of the staff member farmers give more rebels with the guys that are really just work on long day not often do you get the opportunity to work on your game in the game so I was really to get the chance to go all out workers should be regained situation all work all thirty two front row I mean it goes back to the conversation we're having earlier about whether you not you want staff to come back and and risk injury but I mean that's what there is for the rest of the season as you have so many young guys guys were going to probably play a role next year how much do you value the idea of Raymonde in staff building and Reagan's now building some some chemistry with one another without with the rest of the games they've got yeah I mean that is funny thing was the line he said to start out of a buyout yeah which totally if Draymond green did not sign the extension he signed last summer which is a four year one hundred million dollar Max contract extension at the time and he was having this year on this team what kind of contract would he get this summer hi not for your Alastor one I I love Draymond one but him talking about a buyout okay you don't want to bring that those two words together right now it's not a good time and all that yeah I want to contract when you got it well above but then again what do you what even getting back for dry mind if you were going to trade him you know I might not even be a he'd be a restricted free agent while right I'll sign it inside last summer what number could you get a minute I want to play hard ball they want to keep them here obviously and he's a you know he's a great player but I'm just saying the year he's having is not having a great year and it seems out of there in a terrible you're not a lot of it is injury around him I understand that and of the Hamptons five he's the lone survivor right out on the island but for him to bring up by out after he got that deal I think everyone by how you could have that discussion Australian money somewhere else yeah speaking of I'll find discussions this is the one that we wanted to save for the ads so the this is great sound because it's happening in two different rooms at the same time you have Kevin Garnett AT and J. R. rider separately and they are right now in Alameda so all spliced together is the two of them in separate rooms separate interviews describing the same story of one K. G. was like a rookie and was trying to pump up J. R. rider and started talking smack to M. J. with M. J. in ear shot this was like at the height of Michael Jordan's greatness take a lesson okay G. never seen me play guess mine where Chicago in those my rookie year and I got about twenty four going into the fourth quarter J. art is having a good day soft I always stay quiet when I play my talk too much so as we come under Tom out just on all we all you know I can't even explain we come on the fourth quarter cagey like me keep going out as a server room categories you keep killing chilling bone straight up you have a good game junkies all of quiet I'm looking at him like **** Mike was literally right there Mike can hear me a double ballot she called him why won't fit is due may say that our building is the Mike looked at me with the KGB has all hills last lot about fifteen seconds I was like my viewmodel rules of the game and he just a young I'm gonna you know how we.

"Year but in the next year and beyond because Andre will be able to teach Jimmy Butler even more in what it takes to be the leader of the group and eager dollar fits into the culture that Miami has arrived on under Pat Riley he's a hard worker he has mental and physical toughness and he can teach the younger players what they don't know he has been in the biggest of games and he has produced on the highest of level so on so many levels for Miami this makes a lot of sense obviously you mentioned his success with the Golden State Warriors three time NBA champ finals MVP in twenty fifteen but last year average is five point seven points three point seven rebounds three point two assists in sixty eight games with the warriors has not played this season was prepared to sit out all year until he was traded from the Grizzlies what can we reasonably expect from him as a thirty six year old that I think his numbers could potentially double from where they were Sir and you have to remember two things there as far as last season goes the war years were loaded west this is the worst team with a healthy Kevin Durant healthy Klay Thompson they were trying to weave DaMarcus cousins in to the fold when they got him back you still have Steph curry and Raymonde under your doll wasn't asked to do much at all in the regular season but people forget amongst all the other drama that was going on he really had a nice year when he was healthy he was producing a times at a very high level they just didn't need him to do that much until the playoffs came around it's going to be the same thing with Miami and it's going to be crucial to watch how they handle him not only as they were came back after being off for six months now but going into next year the regular season just doesn't have the importance that the playoffs do Miami knows this as well as anyone in their dealings with the broad aims and Dwyane Wade over the last few years when they were winning titles eager dollar is going to be pace so that he is ready to perform at his highest level in the post season and I'm sure everybody's on the same page as far as that goes but he will help the young players get to a different level mentally and it's one of the reasons why Steve Kerr repeatedly said that Andre good doll was one of his favorite places players the coach all time because he knew the difference that his accu men men that locker room what does it mean for the warriors by the way because there were some thought that he might be returning to them yeah they got to find some deaths are more Sir they have to find some different answers and it's another reality check for the warriors I think there's so much hype around all will they'll just get everybody healthy you know get this taken I'll be right back at the top that's not how it works it is a fall a very far fall when you go from where they'd been to where they are now to where they want to get back to this team is getting older by the day in the rear Audi is as great as those players are in dream on and Steph and Klay Thompson they are not going to stay young and produce at this level forever and they better be some more depth on the way and that's what the war is gonna need in order to get back to where they ban if they can accomplish that meanwhile on the other eastern seaboard he played against the clippers on the road and over the one twenty one eleven win over Miami clippers with a franchise record twenty four three pointers in the win over Miami if the question is what does it take to win in the NBA the answer is only seven players.

"Agents and talking to people around the league with without having to have a nuts and bolts negotiator at this time of the year I think you you want to have them they were later I think they will but the the sense I got was they appreciated silly services for last eight years he is most famously known as the guy sitting and hugging Aaron Rodgers because users agent at the time when he was a rookie in the green room any finally gets picked by the Packers twenty four but so Mike Sullivan no longer with the team in and they are there to fill that role one way or another well that's with another former agent or someone else that has a different skill set but yeah so that's kind of the biggest news and Broncos country today yeah the sense of getting is they are going to they do have a target target or place that you know fairly quickly I don't know if you're I think you're right a there's not a a supercenter virgins because I think they have their guy but there may be another person brought on board it in kind of continue that tandem the team kind of they have more to say they had a football administration and without going into too much detail into market is I mean he has been brought up before because he came to Denver as Josh McDaniels best friend and right hand man we just a map of Tricia right lot walk by us he has a head of football administration name Kevin Anderson who had been with the patriots for about years and actually preceded Matt with Bob Quinn in Detroit he is now everywhere you see Matt you see Kevin Anderson that's what mark was with Josh but after Josh was let go market made enough friends inside the building and it's shown enough promise on the football administration side that they transition him into more of those capacities under John fox and he's the guy that's with L. way at the owners meetings a lot goes into a lot of the league meetings sometimes with Johnson tied to Joe Ellis and so to the best of my knowledge mark will still be in a role similar to that we have to have as as bench point out someone in tandem that has handled a lot of the negotiating and the and the contract nuts and bolts of but I think Mike made a lot of suggestions it's not and and help get the deals to work but it's not like if John Elway wants to sign Derek will for re signed Derek Wolfe or sign another player Mike Sullivan says okay you're doing it for this it's Hey we can do it for this or we can look at this it's it's about making it work based on the personnel that that John wants to add or retain and so I'm not saying he's the only person that could do that job or that anyone else can do that job but it's not only John always decision as to how they perceive the personnel and then it's the this person the administrator's job to get the deal done how much is it affecting your opinion with free agency really right around the corner how much is the fact that the guys that they're trying to work on all that sort of stuff well because fundamentally generally doesn't want to negotiate against himself it doesn't change anything as it relates to Chris tears junior Shelby Harris Derek Wolfe Justin Simmons those deals are already deals it he wants to get done Simmons thing wasn't going to change without the approach it based on whether Mike Sullivan is talking to Todd France or whether John Elway saga top venture whether someone else's thought figure out is gonna be a long term deal are they going to settle the franchise tag and then because John doesn't want to negotiate against himself for some of those other guys are gonna hit the open market he will the weather's Mike Sullivan or John L. where mark through to anyone else they weren't going to call Derek will stage a Chris Harris is new agent former Broncos white out Jeff he feels the Wasserman group Shelby Harris's agent they were gonna call them an open there were gonna say they were gonna take the call or call our circle back around hand here talking to the Texans I hear you talking to the Packers what's the deal okay well we need to look at that too we want to offer the same deal similar deal a little more whatever so John was gonna be reactive Mike sold was gonna be reactive in those instances speed of changing contract negotiators Shelby Harris change representation to Rosen Haas I don't know if that makes us more or less likely to sign in but it's certainly make shall be more likely to get a payday the one thing about drew and I I see some really did have a chance to talk to him because I walked away then he walked away you know is Mr Miami still have a very busy week next week but for all of drew's personality they don't call bluster that's not fair to him his personality and we see him whether it's defending Antonio brown and ultimately moving on from Antonio brown or defending some of the other guys he represents Brandon Marshall present the linebacker rupees brand make man is reference number number of players seemingly everyone that's ever played if you were to Miami for sure he is not difficult for teams to deal with he is good about getting deals done good deal first clients and good deal for the team but for as much as you might think I wouldn't let my agent to act like that I'd rather than be more maybe reserve like a Tom Condon is or Todd France's who gets deals done they're the look at the Antonio brown contracts it that that we're done with the raiders with the patriots you know the the other stuff is on Antonio brown founder rose now so that change for Shelby has is probably a good one he had a lower level agent that I met with them last year that he had tag along with them at the Superbowl who I think is based out of St Louis and now he moves on to one of the biggest agents and football and a big agency I do I I don't know if that helps his chances of re signing but drew certainly done deals with the Broncos for some of the other players and a lot of it's gonna be more market based is on offer shall be fourteen the Broncos are going to thank him for his services if they get into a bidding war or it's close then maybe derose house helps keep them in Denver you were standing there on the sideline there for a little bit John Elway was on it with big Alan Jo Jo going to hear a little bit that sound coming up in the next segment but what what kind of sense did you get of of war underneath I could pry tips hand to us at any point but a what kind of sense of what he might be interested here out at the senior bowl well as we talked a little bit yesterday Johns really just trying to get to know these players and see them up close and put bodies with names that he's seen on the chart that's been given him pretty recently when we talked does before but John isn't watching everything college football game you just can't the nature of what GM's do during the season is watch the leak I bet you watch a bunch of Stanford games I know he watched the playoff games we know that he watched Ohio state Penn state on his way to buffalo the amount of stop there but as John can move around the field we saw that he was kind of doing his own thing at the same time out Russell was very intently watching the offense of in defensive line one on ones and when you look at where they need to go in the draft with offense of line help and not knowing the future of Adam got says we don't think I'll be back maybe is back for a low number Shelby Harris Derek Wolfe they knew we know they have to go there and as much as you love divine can law that's one guy out of thirty years so draft eligible defensive lineman thirty to fifty whatever that number is me and they're going to need to have a couple those guys on that on that list after you've on can law and so you're asking about John John is gonna move around is talking Dan Marino is talking to John Lynch yesterday because of where you're standing and a lot of it as he said had to do with where the son of cold bright he was down watching the alignment today he moved down and was watching more skilled players but Matt Russell was very intently moving around the field every time they went one on one in both practice sessions watching the guys in the trenches and so it that doesn't mean that's what they're doing to fifteen because there are seven picks in the top one oh eight but I think they know in order to take the next step with your lock they have to get better up front offensively and then to add that depth put guys next to an around Raymonde Jones and von Miller Bradley job so that's where I think a large focal point if I do say four of the seven first picks will be guys on the offense and defensive fronts BK thank you so much man appreciate it and of course you'll see Brenda Crist all with us tomorrow we're going to Facebook life in the morning we're hoping to get out to practice but can't wait a little bit differently for practice tomorrow it's actually gonna be an off site from the lab yeah they're expecting a lot of rain so we will do our best to sneak over to watch it a little bit of practice at university of south Alabama and then make our way to the airport you has led to Denver all head to the Pro Bowl check out garland sudden von Miller and yeah it'll it'll the train never stops party never stops right we just keep on rolling that's exactly right predators taller Kaylee "Cimber were still in Jerusalem for as the Broncos would play in the final game here and so by the way that leads to ship next year it's gonna start later what she have games in the January over the process of playing in the February they will but we're certainly going to enjoy it from September to October all the way through this separately the January help we can you I can't I can't do it over again as such is still we should see even more these young skill position players hopefully headed Jabberwocky Vitter's Cortland such low fat bill Lindsay always seek the hit the outside the store put it outside so we started with the toss place last week we saw with the let's get listed for Lizzie basketball but that's just a thousand yards old hundred why not let's get it straight I formation slot right the straight ahead see this Washington the year twenty seven yards the lead to twenty six seventy six today for a little bit and that often so blind is absolutely Jack to get filled when you do a thousand yards I think it's a big deal we talked about earlier this week is it a big deal it's not really a big deal what is a thousand yards anymore for any offense as far as running the ball not so much in this case they're excited to get real lives that honor and look first time in history four thousand first time is it a full history and drive the player starts out the first two years of a thousand yards rushing well run games and so forth it's a fantastic one of the things that I need to see next year a little more I need to see more extreme as a federal complementary players to pull plenty if you can't do that you need to go in a new direction with your other running back if you're gonna have under lightning whatever that is called for this team he is by far the better running back right now voicestream is gonna catch up absolutely good to see him get the one yard touchdown last week a distant rumble across the plains crack of thunder is for screaming comes to toss wine guys over short yardage situations out of those type of situations I don't need to see them go back to fill with sea and a third one bring all the lawyers bring all the and what a show off now well he is a short yardage back first down and goal in front of freemen instead right please listen the season the I need that that's a seventy five yard touchdown drive at a really big time in six line let's get back to the defense lets go D. we're doing a lot of offense will run to depress the defense player of the week was Raymonde Jones we had out at buffalo wild wings earlier this week on full interview brought this country so I dot com flight will plug there the man this was the guy coming out of college that had more pass rush maps than anybody in college football at Ohio state you know guys like Sean and Nick Bosa for absolute monsters there was Raymonde Jones the had more past four snaps anybody got two and a half sacks five apples in this game is the lines we might be looking at a future study on the line for starters already showed up in the present it was the A. F. C. defensive player of the week this past week the future is if your grandma George Bush forget together back to back this is the way compressor he's going to grab the back of a twenty one yard line was three months old the rookie out of Ohio state with the sack good pressure also from von Miller the ones you can let the rest of this clock expired heads to the locker room I really love what Vic Fangio added say about dream on Jones the next day as Preston like big feature because it looked as a high ankle sprain we didn't need to be playing out there but he said he wanted to play Vic Fangio he's not a guy that usually hands out cop it's very often but he had one for three months it's been good and.

"But great news Jeff Cali Stein back so I can go back and started for you don't have to I think college down to get you know he's a completely different player that I thought it was gonna be chatter is gonna be a shot blocker coming out of college and he's not great defensive player I think they need his shot blocking ram protection that they've had from other players Bogut injure veil McGee certainly in a name to and I think they need that users can beat a lot so you need someone to be the eraser back there but he's a he's a pick and pop guy he actually makes a in our top of the key you know elbow to elbow jump shot honestly a three point shooter but he's a pick and pop guy in that it keeps saying as a U. stardom your poem about mid first quarter deangelo and you bring him in deangelo back and I got a little pick and roll game with those two guys you know maybe that way John you don't need Draymond in a driver has been coming out and come back in to start the second quarter maybe changing rotations tonight we're talking to Mike brown of the preseason it a drain on staff play the entire first quarter and then bring Cauley Stein Bakshi a pair Stephens Raymonde more and Cauley Stein and deangelo more because they're in cost I give you a good pick and roll guy pick and you know at the vertical spacing that they like with the live game he can do that and then you know if they put you on the ball he can he can make a face up jumpshot he's much better offensively then I thought he was gonna be in the NBA from watching them in Sacramento but he's not nearly as a monster too aggressive defensively and I thought he was gonna be there maybe they can bring it out of him yeah next to drain out a couple of different guys are being there Kali Stein again probable for tonight so as Alec Burks I was never huge outburst man when he was in Utah but he is a veteran you know so much use honesty maybe he can inject something there we'll see other given another opportunity was a former lottery pick with with Utah I was on call have totally injuries there yeah that's a good thing with at least having some depth there and how many guys fly on on the league one of the same with Jacob Evans the third and that's I think that Dr yeah you know what the ad Dr yeah that's that's that's why Damian Lee played so much the other night is that Jacob is a third imply very much because of the doctor never came back in the game which also leads to Damien lay you know when doc when clay went down the injury I'm not gonna come again live in life you give me the ice and the postgame show the other night all I can say that you didn't want to call that then you said you were going to die well here you know what the actual deal with that was he had a good game and it was on national TV was being interviewed maybe was Karen and Mike brown walked by and Mike said boy though because curry's can really shoot the ball and he's not a carry easily always that what did they also my head around Dan it may have cost him money the way I don't at this would not be a negative to me I've always liked Seth curry a lot I like seven sack when George we had on their moments I liked him in Dallas with Donnie Nelson Adam there and I you know Portland he car each he played well offensively I'm on the planet sized arrayed against the warriors and everybody each stole the ball office staff repeatedly and mom dentistry so I thought Jeez I mean it's not staff but he's a pretty good shooter I've always liked him but a little like Derek Carr and David Carr and so the bad stuff in David mainly getting sacks seventy six times like it was his fault would would hurt direct but I think because I don't know they I think they they didn't think as as highly of sad because he was staffs brother I'm not sure I follow that logic at all it's like I'm not gonna take Nick Bosa because Joey's brother I'm gonna take a more because you're always brother but anyway I think there was a little bit of your curry when he was he's not a curry or I think the way may have been viewed by a lot of people was they're doing they're throwing staff of bone by having his sister's husband on the team that doesn't work like that is that this is not your see why our no not Evans Sippy Cup after the game these are these are men but Myers they're not doing that you make teams on your own anyway I'd like when clay got hurt initial reaction is Jamie Lee is gonna be your starting to guard next year I I'm does not gonna be a two way player he's gonna be your too well that's the weird part right the to anything the only be a certain amount of days well hold on so that they they do the de Angelo Russell thing I'm all over the place that we started talking about Cauley Stein anyway so the first day you can trade you are already doing this you are already doing right well he's going to play that Thursday coming up for you can trade as it is a December fifteenth of November thirtieth December if it is December fifth yeah you can that's the first day you can trade so I can only down well I I just thought with it and they probably want to withstand the weight so the deadline in February right but I I my initial reaction was Danny Leal this be I thinking he can guard a little bit he's a really good shooter and a great shooter I think he was right I thank you it's better he moves better off the ball were deangelo just doesn't move off the ball I like to see the GPS tracker on deangelo thanks for the key he moves in the end I clay yeah he's just he's he's more like Durant's game any not Duran Duran's gone off what's the deal with the bush the boardroom him and Steven Hey let go do you're not gonna play all year so anyway I I like Jamie Lee and I thought he would have a bigger role but at the the good thing is the two way that forty five days to use up on the two way doesn't start to the G. league season starts which is not a vital now and yet it is over the years but then you know we get a lot of anyway Jacob Evans that gonna play that could maybe approach to play but the key thing is going college style back but I I think Jamie Lee had a house again hello again if you can shoot like that you're gonna stay on the team really gonna figure something out horse shoes yeah eleven a lot of four letter rebounds in a game this size you know those kind of things so there's no question about it it was a you mean just in like manner the analog hearing women often that I wouldn't have an issue but I get it Mike brown's from him even if it's an update as in which it's not I mean it's just this isn't this isn't middle schools and high school you've given up see someone college like in the higher wreck the higher somebody's dad so they don't come order to my a bad they do that at this level and all that and I froze like a border you know it's not like being needed to keep current they've would it have they done than the NBA not for a coach well hi your dad of the rest and I I think it's an adult in this is not a spot on the roster but like he's he's he's shown that he can he can be a player but you're right and look I'm I'm I will never be against the d'angelo Russell thing because for people to understand if you lose Kevin Durant for nothing then it's like a whole individuals in the money how anybody can do it also hard captured it did for a year and you're gonna go anywhere anyway this year with or without him so you what you can do like you said though at the deadline he's only twenty three years old the four year one seventeen is not prohibitive to trading him and there is there are teams I guarantee you who play a style that he would like Minnesota Watson and so you can trade I mean you can get some guy they think IT assets back where is if you don't sign I get no assets so I have no issue yeah I I know I is with this is that day trading and I know if you're looking at assets in Adelaide I understand it that's the guy you that you're trying to build a team and you want guys on the team that fit the way you play and the only game in an exception I I in a way that you're paid a lot of money to hard capped you and I just I'm not a fan but if you right well let's see I think you know Glen Taylor had a helicopter waiting on a plane to pick him up and he thought he had on their gains well he's better better recess but anyway Jill Hey well you know am I a I I don't that's that's an interesting thought Reagan's would fit better than deangelo was Stephan play yeah but he I don't know I I don't I don't the warriors are in love with him him but I I think that's a good look at the minute but I mean I I just think he fits better you have to study have I think the bottom line with Andrew Wiggins is he doesn't offend there was a thought about he can it's son became a father late last year and the slips son what's the young coaches name their Saunders yeah he in call them aside he pulled me aside and said you want your son to grow up in here all the things people as they say so first short time line and Siemens plant issue in which room well just you know he had a son to get a legacy here hello to you now well maybe a broker if you did that anyway that's interesting thought hello for Mister Reagan I can see them trading because one of the worst contracts in the NBA but I decided to stir to Cheryl waiting for December fifteenth the countdown on your iPhone five I just as soon enough now I'm aware of it use it every day I can't wait to try to but I don't know he said I'm not sure about that but when you start building a roster based on you know slip double assets is that I don't know if that's the way you got to we're building a sports team no I get it but you're losing money while you also hard capture so for a year in the bottom line is not made by Durant not say staying here how much money do they say no hay role would have been three hundred twenty five million what you said but you saw the revenue now right I saw some are not to in north American sport I asked you to pay off the bills other couple years they're not just in this the vivid deangelo deal was that hard capture from Joe like about live in that building you kidding me this place so I. wells Apollo and you can have a heart I live in I mean well Paul used to have a a condo in the rose garden at the top and I don't know like if I was him that's what I would build and build I don't go on traffic Michelle there is gonna be hotel connected to that don where's the visiting team.

just said with regard to Andre a good dollar it's complicated to say the least to say the warriors need to get him back up first of all it's not impossible until the month of December second of all he would need to be bought out again so in other words traded by the Grizzlies and then bought out by that next team to be eligible to come to the warriors could happen in the future your I. gas how many years is a good dollar have laughed I don't know are there still some feelings to deal with based on those comments he made about injuries and the warriors medical staff remember those at the end of the year possibly and then lastly weniger dollars says I want to retire a warrior remember in sports that doesn't always mean he's going to come back and play sometimes those guys sign those one or two day contracts to just come back in and retire I was having a conversation at an event I was out earlier tonight about Andre a good dollar and you've probably heard all the things he's doing in the business world and in Silicon Valley that's all real he's in turning right now with a tech company in the bay area no joke Memphis Grizzlies a basically told him yeah just go do whatever you want will pay your bill that's where it's going to set right now so you could always doing his thing and I think he wants to be a part of the bay area post career so retiring a warrior has value does that mean he's going to play for the team again I don't know I've got my doubts we want you to hear from Steve Kerr with his most recent comments getting ready for the game will do that in a second but let's squeeze gaily up Gerry just wanted to drop off all right so let's go ahead and hear from Steve Kerr tonight is complex on a number of fronts will be a lot of emotions this isn't just opening night it's a brand new home it's a brand new building that's on the other side of the bridge all of these players or at least the established ones have had to move move their families move their their center of gravity to a different home we know drame on and clay and staff they've all purchased new real estate in San Francisco or at least on the on the west side of the day they are going to be playing a game that counts in the standings inside new surroundings it will be a very stunning reminder I think when they walk into a new building I know they've been there for weeks now if not months but when you walk in and realize this is the start of a new era it's not just the building is looking around and seeing that Kevin Durant's locker is being occupied by a rookie and clay Thompson will not be wearing a Jersey although knowing him maybe he will be what a shock you of clay have shooting pains on the night I mean he might but he's not going to play and so many things are so different I think it's important for the warriors right now to search out things that are familiar that's why so many of us would love to see it would all back is not because of some incredible production he can provide at his age is just because he feels comfortable he feels like another tie to what we've all just experienced and it was so great that the war is going to want to make as many of those things as possible however the fact remains there are many of them there's the front office there's ownership there Steve Kerr you know there's Mike brown there's Collins right some of the staff and their staff and there's Raymonde and and there's quite a there are supporting others come on but outside of that I mean even fans are going to be in different seats some of them are going to make the trip it's going to be all new car talked about this dynamic all of the new home it's hard to say I just just got here so you know we've only had a few games here and we're just getting a feel for the place but if so it is nice to have or all of our offices right here and have everything under one roof the the arena itself is beautiful I think the fan experiences is fantastic from what I gather from my family and and without subtle miss everything about oracles great place to play beyond obviously just the digs and the surroundings there's the personnel and there's no question that the word transition is is a fair one our Kerr part into words what the team is going through on that front refreshing I wasn't sure how that would go with her a lot of familiar faces out there a lot of employees have have come over from oracle and so I'm seeing a lot of people who were here I've seen over the years so that part's graded and so were but we're just getting used to the movement and it's so it's all solved transition right now we're still in the midst of all that I tell you why the return of come on Looney who I know was on our morning show today as well with Murph and mac and body jail on the return of come on Looney tonight I think is actually a major factor in this game not just for the obvious of come ons a good player and knows the system and the warriors need Biggs those are all your obvious functional reasons but I think again to the point I was just making a what Steve's talking about I think there's something emotional there too where Steph curry and Draymond green can get on the floor at the start of the game and looked down inside the paint and be like oh there's Loni he knows what he's doing and I and I am very optimistic by the way I in terms of what player he's going to become this year Cup all moody can do things you don't know he can deal yes all I know I'm a big fan of the guy he is his agent is a friend of mine I've watched his game for a long time of all nobody can shoot like not just some of the time like your blog has a lot of skills that he just bottled up because why on earth would the warriors ever want Kamal moody to shoot when Kevin Durant clay Thompson Steph curry are all on the floor with them they didn't need him to do that I'm there there's almost a there's a line I could draw from what loony did last year to what Jim Edgar Oppel is doing this year and a lot of your said they're gone where our garage blows numbers Niners are asking him to throw for three hundred yards don't need it defense is amazing Hey Jamie go score twenty and ride off into the sunset same thing with come on Hey come on do the dirty work get some rebounds dunk the ball when we toss it up to you and that's really all we need you to do this year it's a very dear friend I for one believe he's incredibly capable I can't wait to see what can bomb loony can achieve this year and fingers crossed for a full healthy year for him he battled he battled his body through the playoffs last year and out while that was admirable he was not his best self so that's an exciting entrant into the the current warrior structure because we haven't seen him all preseason now the opponent tonight hello the Los Angeles Clippers I've said it a couple of times already they are stunning and Paul George's not even there yet I I don't need to tell warrior fans about the greatness of coal why lettered and I probably don't need to tell you about how good the clippers already were before you got there because they took the warriors to six games in the first round last year this is an unbelievable challenge right out of the gate Steve Kerr out some comments on that as well the clippers have build something what I admire about them is it's not just that they have a good summer is what they did before that you know last year they really built to a foundation where they defended with that G. and they had some some grit to them and they fought for everything and so they've they've already put in the foundation and now they've added obviously you know collide in Paul two of the best players in the league so they've they've put together a formidable team that's for sure so the clippers if you are someone who looks at the line the clippers or one point favorite tonight I was actually shocked to see when you look at the arc of this line because the line doesn't come out until after the clippers played their most recent game they played two nights ago against the Lakers the warriors open as a favorite in this game which again I'm going to keep saying it what was nothing more than a habit is like it's the warriors in the opening a new building they've got to be the favorite this is going to be hard I don't know if you watch the clippers forty eight hours ago this is one heck of a basketball team and fans if you're on your way here and you can put that on your shoulders a little bit we're the number one things everyone's gonna be looking for tonight is can the fans at chase create the same kind of vibe and noise and home court advantage but the warriors odd at oracle that would be big in helping the warriors stay in this game because the opponent is the NBA favorite I don't need to say anything else that the NBA favorite and they are for a reason all right our own Tom Tolbert is gonna jump in next to give you a lot of his thoughts in perspective as does count down to tip off continues on these boards later okay it's almost opening time got email over photos of.

"The ice Tom yeah Alfonso McKinney was dance that are as think of the dance of January's gonna keep his job you have to get rid of him yeah Holland yeah John Hollinger's kind of kind of us suggest settle it let's do talk some more as we on Monday we talked a little bit about the weekend but we talk more about the arena itself than we do did the game that I saw access I grant at the forty Niners game on Monday night and we talked more than me game itself but we will start game going out Saturday night I didn't pay it exactly never was eleven the nothing does a great job with the words outsiders our good friend you drew and then he joins us courtesy of the my guess I how are you Hey thanks for having me it's good to have you man how about that arena it is a beautiful arena that is really really hoping to be open in April yeah that would be good that would be really good late April yes money only if you are you are not confident they're gonna make the playoffs okay hold one second let's let's slow down I think that if a healthy they have a good shot of making the playoffs if they have any absence over an extended period of time from any of their big three sept Raymonde or dance so they are in some serious trouble might agree with yeah my big thing is you know obviously Stevens have this luxury of substitution patterns to be able to keep got you know a couple all stars at every chance on the floor and also in terms of getting rast and they do a tremendous job of monitoring to each guy literally monitoring each guy in and how much they played and how tired they're getting so look you can't run staff ragged so how are they going to handle that in terms of obviously not having that debt that they've had in the past yeah the big issue of yet the there were there was a game Saturday I I promise you there was and in the game now you can't pick you made that take away from a trusted first came a preseason let alone probably all five preseason games you really can't tell that much but for a team that is trying to figure out who can step up and who can place a minute it was really shocking how few people were able to score when step was not out there and that is something scary that the that when the offense in the engine only runs once stepped out there is the how long can you keep him off the court now deangelo yet you getting into shape again but when he's going he's gonna have to start the second start the fourth quarter and I'll be his time but you know at deangelo somebody that such a good passers can be the best pass around the team he need to have people around the neck or kill so as long as maybe a Jordan pool steps out maybe Damien lease or shooting well that's what you're gonna have to need to get to throw around them but otherwise you teach me step out there as long as possible and that's just talking staff dream on green I honestly if he's not out there on defense they are in their beds six a little scary sometimes you know a we were talking before the game and saying that I think we mentioned the post game we were thinking out loud I know he wants to stagger Stephan deangelo Indiana would come back and run the second quarter unit my concern if you don't have either staff OR drame on on the floor it's rough so I have in there so good together staff and Draymond even Acadie was you're there to play with you know how to do it but image Stephan Draymond play so well together to get in that high drag she reached we can be the you know this is the starting point your offense do you do you see them in Stephan dream on playing the entire first quarter and then what do you do I know deangelo will drive it of that group to start the second quarter that could be rough yeah exactly and that that's I think one of the biggest distress strategic things that Steve Kerr need to figure out because a step in the right place so all together and that's what they're doing majority of the first quarter for the last you know season RKO but the problem being that usually in that second quarter then you brought in and Andre good doll and you still had Klay Thompson out there and you still had nearly good defenders if you take you take steps up pretty you know pretty tall defender when he's when he's fully going and not reaching so you caught him and dream on off the court now deangelo who at some issues defensively and then maybe one Willie Cauley Stein back whose is still not a defensive guy he's he's more about ram runner and a and a pick multi player I honestly I I I'm a little hesitant to even say I had that I can figure out somebody who would be the defensive stopper out there so in that case we do need to collect rain mud and stagger him a little bit too maybe you don't need to take them out with six minutes left in the first like probably Kienzle well but maybe you taken out with three minutes left and then you start him but the second quarter and then give them a little bit of a rest in the middle of the second quarter one step checked back in there they're gonna have to get creative because you can't just have deangelo out there running it purely off as a team I guess the one good thing about it you're gonna get the second unit so hopefully that that unit doesn't just go off crazy scoring but there's a lot of teams with a lot of data and even look at a clippers team like Lou Williams will check in for that second quarter and it's scary to think right now how the warriors will defend him Olympic good enough to join us at grant live makes you follow on Twitter does a great job on warriors outsiders a couple of positives that come out of it again it's one game I understand that some not making too big of a deal we'll see how they do it throughout the preseason obviously Jordan poll had seventeen shot the ball pretty well four of nine from three point land and then I don't know how you can make the roster of marquees Chris showed a little bit as well and Eric paschal so you had a few guys who look there's not a lot of depth on this team so anybody who can flash may have an opportunity to play yeah it really is they're just trying to figure out somebody to step up the problem with the small forward position right now is John Hollinger says this article on the athletic it's just probably the one of the weakest groups in the NBA for a small wing position and the death is there and they just need to find somebody to step up someone who actually takes control of the position you know go bonds McKinney going into a training camp was supposed to be the favorite probably even to take that small for position but now there is rumors of like if they need a big McKinney is the only guy with a non guaranteed contract that they can remove from the roster right now being hard cap and and put somebody in this place so really the question mark is who can step up one name that you really need to start going in there and and and I know a lot worse fans look think this is crazy but Jacob Evans may end up being the starting small forward on opening night there and eight yeah I know it's trying to transition to point guard but to end the day the guy looked confident he actually placed in defense he he seems a little more comfortable out there the game a slow down a little bit I know Steve Kerr really like Jake about things I I I really would not be surprised if Jacob Evans gets a shot at the three spot now you can guard there's no doubt in a shot does look better get bank on any other night from straight on but there's no doubt he's getting more loft on that shot that that's an intriguing possibility there but you know I in any other part of it would be you know even if he did run the club any had deangelo off the ball was staff I think that would work well one of the floppy series by and then you know he is I guess your third point guard because you know staff and then deangelo it might how many minutes do you think you know you go to carve out for him to play as a point guard on the floor I mean you're gonna have staffer deangelo on the floor at almost all times so that that that's a that's an intriguing possibility that you could let him even run the club a little bit there but he could started three I I agree to grant that said that's interesting yeah I I actually you know before the season going into it I actually thought Jacob Evans is gonna be really limited in his playing time I kind of looked at him like a Quinn cook there for a little bit where Quinn would go to series throughout the the season where he just wouldn't play and then all the sun will come in when there's an injury or they just need a little after shooting or something I thought Jake up in that case would just be somebody that play that there's an injury or foul trouble or if they just need a little extra defense but now that I'm looking at it and the way he he just looks more cut out there and in the I feel that you know it one year ago I was saying what I'm saying right now I I would I would say I just I mean it was crazy to think that Jacob would even I mean there's people I was wondering if like he was just gone not really going to be able to make the club this year and he just change the game completely and I and I'm not wholly a believer yet but and what I'm seeing from him is is a new player so if he can get out there and actually at least make some syrup place and serviceable minutes where he's just defending maybe flashing a little bit and at the end of the day yeah you can play it staff Indians roll off the ball to have Jake up bring up the ball also Jordan pool is somebody that could bring up the ball he they they gave him some point guard duty a little bit and Saturday night new handle it just fine all you need to do is be able to pass the ball out of the top and that's all you need if you're going step off the ball grand I want to go to that article that you referenced as far as John Hollinger's concern I'm gonna read the last paragraph because obviously it's too long but it says don't sleep on this team of gets off to a sluggish start which is probably the case once wars land by a guy or two when Thompson hopefully comes back they could emerges season terror once again despite a middling playoff seeding he says fifty one and thirty one he has a second the Pacific behind the clippers ahead of the Lakers in force in the Western Conference and sounds a little rich for me what do you think yeah again it you know it's it's easy to say if healthy that they can be really that get pretty solid I just I just I I have a hard time believing that right now and and you know it's not that I have in the you know the lack of state that they that these guys are dirt injury prone or anything like that where in care of name be eight years and it just happens you know something your all your ankle really quickly in your out three weeks and that can be enough to really devastate the warriors are now specially the Steph curry so it really is dream on green and Steph curry in deangelo complain at least seventy five games this season then yeah I I think they they should at least sneak into the playoffs it would be pretty crazy to me if they could even do it with those guys playing at least seventy five games clay Thompson coming back is not a sure thing and I know for a while I was like well he wanted to come back in early March you know I I it wouldn't be a crazy thought say the warriors will just really really slow play it and just say Hey quite you're not coming back but yeah in March I would say by candidate there are some really good bye bye out candidates that hit the market the end of this last season you know these Wes Matthews and players like that so I you know the horse could end up with a player like that somehow I.

Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr says team not concerned despite brink of playoff elimination

"Pm eastern on most espn radio stations we'll talk about james harden who was historically bad last night and you're not gonna like you're not gonna like the memories that last night evoked if you're a new york knicks fan but first let's talk about the golden state warriors this to me is not surprising i like steve kerr steve kerr me kind of embodies and i think reflects the overall ethos of of this warriors team he didn't sound at all like a guy worried about his team not getting to the nba finals for the first time since twenty fourteen in fact he says after game five he's not concerned at all with worse tina's at i feel great about where we are right now and it may sound crazy but i i feel it i know exactly what i'm seeing out there and we defended them beautifully tonight we got everything we needed to many turnovers too many reaches and if we settle down a little bit we're gonna be in really good shape boy you know what i think he's right and they did defend better last night you know the turnovers came at the absolute worst time for golden state the the sixteen in the games raymonde green was responsible for six of them they didn't get a great game from kevin durant a great shooting game they didn't get a great game from steph curry and yet they still had multiple opportunities to win and i still think if that quinn cooked three with forty five seconds to go that was wide open i still feel like if that falls golden state wins the game that's the warriors are and you could call it cockiness you can call it era guidance i think it's a i think it's kind of a quiet confidence at the same time this team is on the verge of a choke job that i think can be put in the same sentences what happened two years ago in the nba finals i mean think of where we were okay they win game three by forty one points blowout houston they've obviously stolen home mm court advantage away they get off to that swelled nothing starting game for they've got early in the fourth quarter a twelve point lead i think what eighty two to seventy foot on.
