"His name is John Krasinski And John writes for the athletic, and he wrote an article by Andrew Wiggins today and everybody's talking about how great Wiggins is playing in in the Bay Area, and what a transformation it is for him and all those kinds of things and one of the things you Steve Kerr had a great quote. In the article, and he says he does, she said that all standards maybe 10 or 15 players in the league who determine the circumstances of a team. The other 450 are victims or people who excel based on their circumstances, You know, so like you know that that's I mean, that's that's pretty accurate. Yeah, I mean, like when you look down look down list of the highest paid Players in the NBA on do you look at you know and stuff. Curry is one of them. You know Chris Paul and James Harden, LeBron James, Kevin Durant. You know the those kinds of players kind of termine. You know what happens in the league on But what happens on their teams, But so many players are victims of circumstances and, you know, we have to say this. You know what if in Boston had, you know the Golden State Warriors not treated Kevin McHale and Robert Parrish. What if they would have stayed with warriors back at that time in 1980, Tommy? I'm not gonna play with Larry Bird. What would have been Kevin McHale's career art? You know what would have been. Robert Parish is career arc because everybody assumes the Warriors would have been great, and we don't know that they would have been great cause we don't know that McKay there have been better off and I don't think there's any doubt but we don't know what with the wars or those two Would've tuned tuned into. I mean, no, You're absolutely right, Pete. I'm curious How much you think plan for the Rockets early on and how they played helped you because I know the warrior system helped me because I'm 68 on Nellie. Let me play outside. Let me handle the ball. We ran so wasn't a lot of half court stuff and in the league back then there were big power forwards and big center, So it was just a different league. And that wasn't really who I who I wa so I think playing for him. Allowed me to get seven years in the league, and then there's not a coincidence. Those are my promotes productive years, along with the one you're in Orlando, But you're so right that you could be the same player and you go to a team. And I think Houston was perfect for you two wouldn't admit. Well, I mean, I got drafted with a large one. And so all of a sudden I come into the league. You know, I'm a marginal player. I I made it in the NBA by playing hard. That's that was my best skill set is that I played harder than most everybody I played against and and so I got to play the Kim. Elijah wants and then I get to sit there and practice against him every day and then. Learn these moves and try to stop him and s O. I got better defensively, and I played it for L. Samson and I'm playing with the twin towers, and we're having success, and we're going to the NBA Finals. And, yeah, there's no there's no doubt that being drafted by that team that I was, I was the benefit of circumstances, you know, playing with the team at the right time, and and so this this was the whole thing. Like John Krasinski is talking in this article. It's a really great article to get a chance. If your subscriber to the athletic to look it up because Give you some insight into Wiggins. On big question for me, Tommy, for you like this is and I was talking to Raymond Ridder, who is the fantastic PR man with the Golden State Warriors. I was talking away about this today because You know, having been part of the Warriors system like I was there with Don Nelson. I was there with run TMC a few and saw the culture that sort of that Molly sort of built and But then it got William a lot better with mission and tinny. Right. So then we kind of built the culture and now he was part of that Nellie kind of built this system. But then there was a long time when warrior basketball was not good. I mean, The whole Adelman, Carlesimo, Muscleman Montgomery era and women even only two point all on DSA went so like they talk about enter, enter, was saying this to jump to post game last game after the Bulls game, Andrew was saying that the culture with the Warriors is so much better than it was in Minnesota. And so and so my point with ended. My problem is that Andrew was picked number one. It was given a Max contract in Minnesota. Tom Thibodeau was here and and and he gave tips credit for being organizing stuff. My thing is the players of the ones that create the culture, you know, and Esso and I was asking Raymond this like when, When was it was the culture built in Golden State? Because there was a long time when the culture wasn't good it Golden State. Was it when when Lake of and Gruber took over was when Mark Jackson came in, Was it one step Curry was drafted isn't Larry Riley that should get more credit for what happened with Golden State. I don't think Larry Reilly gets enough credit Tom because he's the one that picks up curry and he and he's the one that picked click Thompson. You know, so like I just so when? When did When did the culture start with Golden State? Tommy? Why? I think it was me. I think it's a slow process, and I think everybody you mentioned Has a hand in it, because step wasn't Steph and really until what about his fifth year and then Mark Jackson got there. And I think that helped change the culture..

"Catch that ball right there. On my way. I see it, but you didn't see it. That's my boy Always see the ball because I got you an open space against Marcus saw I like that. He said. Come on, I like that. I think that you Hey, copes, and I hate to do this kind of stuff on the air. But it's kind of what you know, or it's just the deal. Now that we're all like working from home and stuff, hopes I might need you to isolate Draymond. I like that and just keep it around to fire at your discretion. Yeah, I like that. I like that. Yeah, probably 510. I'm just taking the cash attention if I wanted to make sure they don't forget the 36 24 36 on Lee if she's 53 Holly. Okay? Yes, we're back to sir. Mix a lot of money, sir. Mix a lot, So Yeah, we got that in the doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo like that. I like that there is there It is. That's good stuff. I get that he had totally I like that. Yeah, I like that. That I like it, too. I like it. It's a good stuff for dream on. Thank you for always being the guy. To give us that sound, my friend having a little incident here bear we go cups. No, I got it for you Working my like the first place. So Peter Harlem actually tweeted about this. Shut up. Peter Hartlaub Fist in the air, Always one of the greats at the Chronicle. He was a little miffed that Reggie Miller opened the post game. Did you go to the post game with Reggie? I did not. I turned it off at the end. Yeah. Okay. Well, they got I told you, Raymond Ridder, Like, you know, boxed. He boxed Steph out to make sure you get to the microphone video. Reggie shouted out Raymond Ridder, which is cool, and he opened the interview by saying, Listen, I know it was a great win it all. But I know you're thinking about that Lay up that you missed at the end because you never had one. 15 1. 12. What was found 41 15 1 13 right before the Lakers last possession, Curry had a beautiful drive down the lane and put up a little floater, and it just went off the back road didn't go. Yeah. And the Lakers, then got the rebound and had their last shot which LeBron missed, right. But Reggie open the interview by saying, and I know I know you and I know you're thinking about that missed layup. There's a thought that maybe he shouldn't have opened with that, because Staff kind of chuckled and said, Yeah, I'm pretty Madam. Miss that Bunny goes, but I guess I'll just have to fall back on that three pointer I hit See That's all that's all stuff. Nose had to be fair to Reggie the Reggie. Also, if you guys heard the same thing he was in the fourth quarter, Reggie called Stef the greatest three point shooter of all time, which is pretty cool coming from Reggie Miller, you know, so apparently he's 12 away from tying Reggie and 13 away from passing him, and they discussed it okay on the air. You had three threes tonight. So from my calculator, 12 more to go my friend into Utah 13 to pass me. Rate. We've been waiting on you. We've been waiting on you. You're finally here. So, uh, is it's only a matter of time, my friend right? I hope so. I mean, shoot enough of them..

"We had we had in the in the in the war is building at starting and rebooting at the same of the Dodgers. Remember the boys? We had had a pretty difficult time. You're 28 from the league and the culture wasn't exactly solid and the same with the Dodgers. You know, we bought it when Frank unloaded the team. It was all about rebooting the culture from the bottom up from the top down, and that means Trying to create authenticity, authenticity in the leadership of the organization, whether it's the coaches a Robin or Steve Kerr, or whether it's the the management of what the organization whether it's the PR people that talk to the media, you know, like Raymond Ridder, you know, and all of those folks Have to be. You will singing from the same hymnal. They have to have their feet, tongue, heart and wallet, all going the same direction that alignment creates consistently throughout the whole organization and hold people to a standard of that of that authenticity. And I think that worked. I mean, really works. It works when you don't win all the time, and it works when you win a lot, If something that's a sustainable, you know, element of your being and that culture Is something we protect ferociously of people on off. The culture will last long in the culture. If people can't change to adapt themselves to be audience centric, for example, both of the organization's certainly the Warriors. With Rick. Welcome. The whole group are completely audience center. What does it mean for our audience? What is the experience? We're rendering whether it's in the media on the air in print, whether it's the merchandise, whether it's the pool where there was a building or the team or the players on their access to them. It's all about that alignment, and I think that's really what happened. And a lot of these teams that have these challenges that look like they have the players, but somehow they don't reach that. That level. It's usually because the culture is uncertain. The cultures unstable on you know that That would mean that there are teams that have really good culture that don't win a championship. That's certainly true with two for us with the Dodgers, for many isn't meant for the Warriors. But the idea is what's the secret sauce Ultra? And the second point, which is really the idea? I think the ideal elements combined. That means our attitude about our team and winning and playing. Who are attitude I believe on. These teams puts our aptitude on steroids. I don't mean the kind of stories you get punished for. I mean, the kind the kind that make you go the last lap at full speed. The crime that make you believe that the that the ending is not inevitable. You're gonna make it What you want to make it And Steve built that culture like unbelievably so the moment he was here, I remember he built that attitude. You know that attitude, Wass. Don't settle. Anything less than winning and bringing that with the player choices, bringing that with the man with the manager of the team, whether it's the training, whether it's the selections. And watching that the team is united in one mission to win, But I think that's That's been its easy to say it's a logo. It's a stand. That is all that, but it's got to come from in out. It can't be something a class doing a sticker somewhere. It has to be meaningful to all the participants. In the organization. Groupers Jonas among many successful ventures. He is part of the ownership group for both the Warriors and the Dodgers joining us pop in line here on the SportsCenter. I think baseball in the major league Baseball in the MBA should be commended for for what they did in getting through the seasons. Now the challenge starts and firstly, it looks like the MBA. They're talking about potentially a December 26 or 22nd start date in, and obviously it has been great being an owner. We just talked about not having fans in the stands. What the challenge is to get the MBA going in in our owners looking at again. It doesn't seem obviously. Plausible that you'd have fans in an indoor stadium by December 22nd. So so how were going to the challenge is moving forward for the MBA and potentially getting started around that time. You know if I can a storyteller of a moviemaker, intelligent present, I fail a little story. You play that narrative that they play here in California, the state that's relatively doing pretty good, you know, and you play that narrative down in Texas and people liked what I was in Texas last night. At the stadium, and there were 12,000 people in this in the stands happy wearing a math, social. This thing all spread out Stadium in the concourse, mark your mound videos in the conquest to send them back to Adam and sending Joe and send him to rip so they could see Hey, there's a lot going on down here and nobody was freaked out. Everything was anybody took them ask down, somebody said Self police. People, said Jim as gone and 12,000 people and of course somebody won't be when I sent it back. Yeah, but that's an opening A stadium. Wrong, wrong. It's closed roof. I was. They were all three guests with a four game closed room. And so the idea is, it can be done. It can't be managed. I mean, we have to weigh can't just do draconian methods and just say everybody stay home and lay under the bed. Listen, you know the tap of the telegraph member how much older you guys remember when black above that and the military will go on and then tell you say there's a fly ball. The game coming from your right the fly ball to right field. Jesus goes back. It catches it when we're not doing that..

"Down the Mets in seven folly right right may have with an aging Willie Mays of calm and that way we should do like the worst three picks of all time but now did you have for was it a hard list for you to make but a little bit it was it was it was a little hard actually because you got eliminate a lot of great possibilities just to get to the to the real core we just got to follow your heart on this when you guys do that yeah you got to use all the variables and say like why why is this team so meaningful to me and then you know and listen I'm not gonna lie sometimes involves outside factors maybe this family members involved maybe there's specific memories along with the great stuff that any given team accomplished so it's like a variety of stuff factoring in but yeah well it was it was a little bit challenging how bout you the same way I like it kind of like when you did your honorable mention of your top three concerts you listen about forty five concerts before you got your top three I kind of feel that way like the honorable mention list sometimes almost more robust than the real list itself it only but yeah it was fun what it will do that actually they were teasing that for later in the day down to about eight thirty or somewhere yeah so other than that dude I've been and just I know don't don't judge me before we say goodbye to Bonnie Jill I did not watch sports yesterday dude I spent almost the entire day plowing through the almost done three hundred and ninety seven pages of up to three seventy and I wanted to finish last night was just get late enough what really do you stay up that extra forty five to finish a book all where do you go to woody yeah the witty book yeah I got it got it it took a tawdry and dark turn what's that yeah I was like she was cruising along so much fun talking about his comedy routines in his movies and all the stuff I like and then we get to and then we got to the stuff has he ever spoken about this stuff before now he does I don't know I mean have you ever dress silicon sixty ministers just like the first time I don't know if he's a really set in one big I think there's like a New York magazine something like that but this is yeah yeah little tawdry and I know your long it's a long way from the comedy of hi this is Natalie did exactly I'll say good morning to body it's still a laugh with ensconced in her home surrounded by cats drawings for Susan animals are over there that you don't go to jail good morning are you guys doing good man would do it did you did you check any sports yesterday or I actually got ahead of the game and I watch the already watched our arm replaced we we one of those kids in school did their homework ahead of time never okay opposite I always rush things last night but you know I just kind of was like you know I want to get into it now you know what sorry Jill great move because I mean why not what I'm gonna do tell somebody to do that just give us a little tease as it was it fun I mean I think it was great was C. Marv Albert and ours Steve Kerr I think that was kind of great just selling all game yeah realize that that's awesome young Steve Kerr I gotta imagine oracle is just kind of gone to kia there I mean get to set showed how loud they were that one point they say that that was a lie the most attendance for a basketball game in California ever wow while there I I so I did a whole Raymond Ridder special for that game because there was no seats in the press box so I just I just went in with my past and ramen like Raymond give me like a standing room only seed I think somewhere and do it was one of those little perches above the S. sections right reported to you and I sat when the look on your face I'll never forget after the Toronto raptors beat the warriors as I can so I don't your money general so I couldn't do it I can't go near her right now she's I think show my murder and I was like are we gonna go downs she's like don't come near me yeah it was after the Superbowl to the same thing you know it's funny you say that I will call them all night you guys you know forever looks at how long you been doing this job now I mean how many years forever still have those nights we wake up panicked that you've overslept right now yeah we all do that and so for some reason I start think about the Superbowl and I started thinking I am I did I start thinking should I go back I I feel like I feel I feel like I need to go back and watch it again well then follow that you might as well if there is some still need to do that you should do it go check it out I will not come back with some great content I haven't done that yet yeah yeah I've done it it's painful man it's it's especially if you watch the whole game because you see how easily that I believe they're entitled we have all no there were a few drives with the Niners were moving the ball seemingly at will it was like okay we got control of this game matters are doing their thing right here and the fact that it got away from them yeah you Sherman courage to go watch it watch it yeah I can only look at Jimmy again you know I mean I can add it here I don't know I just thought he'd come face to face my demons and life out of me yeah well yeah buddy gill W. that is a tease for people who are who come with us every morning the vintage game rewatch we chose the game six of the two thousand seven we believe lawyers the eight seed warriors knocking at the one C. saying I'm gonna during tomorrow on a drink tonight I'm gonna bring to the morning I'm gonna bring tomorrow night I mean he does get like extending it out I'm just picturing him right now thinking this is incredible I'm gonna go get smashed right now let's go do it I I worry about his his health because like when you were eighteen everybody's like Hey I'm going to give you a shot but you you just won the Oscar and you were on the Oscars talking about how trashed you're gonna get everybody was probably heading and drinks and parasite was hosting like one of the two biggest Oscar parties so I hope someone has fallen in love with like they deferred relation pastels and and I hope he's OK because I enjoy his movies and I want to see more I know it's probably an intended maybe it was intended but then when you said parasite hosting I just wanted to give it a plot very nicely done well done see you guys both see all these the the movies up for Best Picture I support on all of them okay SO four four okay I only saw the Irishman in nineteen seventeen I'll yeah nineteen seventy and I thought that was awesome and I mean I took my my teenage son to watch it and and it was just incredible just so well done and I didn't realize how it was shot I had to read about kind of the film the cinematography aspects of that movie that made it special afterwards but it was a it was a tremendous film did you believe parasite should have one yeah I did nineteen seventeen I loved it same everything you're saying we're going to agree it was a great ride is like a roller coaster but that's what it was I mean I all the technical categories it swept through there and I thought that was great it won Best Picture I think that be like giving space mountain the Best Picture I mean it it had history in it but I that movie could come at any time and it was spectacular and should be credited but parasite I thought was not only you know just as good if not better of a film but also really you know got in a little you know well since he and capitalism middle and a lot of issues where people are gonna look back in thirty years and see that as a twenty twenty film yeah I got the right film one of nineteen seventeen I know one surprise you the five films that that I saw I mean you'd be able to come out it's not like you look at the film's ago I wonder what Tom saw in there yeah the joker nineteen seventeen Ford verse for ari once upon a time in Hollywood and the Irishman does once let me say little women don't see it I saw it with my wife and I really need experience for her because I'm just like you know why it weren't complaining I mean there's as it was it was not a good experience but I was complaining and ruining her good time Jill Jill rabbit out of all the movies that that's what the one a lot of people didn't see and that's a funny fun movie if you like like a Wes Anderson movie yes Jo Jo rabbit is it's funny and touching in and you'll take it you will like it yeah I definitely want to go want to go see that one merry story heard is awesome I don't know I got a that at every is like do it it's not it's not the feel good hit of the summer so like I don't I don't know if I want that one right now maybe at some point just to appreciated I'll go see it but just real quick I'm in nineteen seventy nine that was awesome I thought it was I had the best way to describe it for me Peter was a two hour movie that seem likely it was thirty minutes that's how fast and furious it was Ford verse for I liked a lot I like the acting may be better than the movie but I just I love bey on I love damn and I thought that was fantastic joker it was scary watching that movie because I thought that that might really be walking Phoenix like he might really yeah he one actor yeah he may have raped leader he like we might really be that guy I was talking about like in Sam in eighteen T. how he was like a like a that's what the guy he's super famous I would be so bummed if I got on like a coach flight and he was sitting next to me see like him on one side and then Renee Zellweger on the other would be the worst there's awful awful I was one I wanted to win one at the end because then I had kind of a warm feeling better the show was wow yeah my wife was getting a little upset with me because about four times during Renee's over your speech at one end thank you good night thank you everybody like **** but he also had no ending point to which is they get kept going as almost like she fell gosh I keep going or should I stop but I don't really have a logical ending point here's some that's going to go down this road and see where this takes me and then I'll go down this road and see where it takes him like these roads are taken no where it stopped is please the ninety second it was supposed to be ninety seconds but you're up there and I guess they wave that for the the big winners yeah they did I get that I mean you don't want like the documentary short guy getting an equal amount of time is Al Pacino like we do it with you know when she's going on our fourth tension it's like placing orchestra music you know to see really since you really although they did try to shut down Paris and at the end of the night and they they they they the crowd wasn't having a bill like no you're not gonna do that to the best pictures so they made into the lights back on and let the it was that that was actually pretty funny that's interesting animal decision I agree whole mood after in memoria and cause a snub Luke Perry I did notice that while they did know Tim Conway all right Doris Doris on call in memoria an endo Renee Albers and why which you know I mean and senator TV show but he was an these two beauty and the beast so that's a good call I wouldn't I would have known that it is kind of a bar how did they miss the head of the I mean how you were they did they not pay their dues I don't know please give your dues paid again they do do I'm sorry can put you in the warm air is the one I wanted to ask about and and yeah once upon a time in Hollywood I'm a big fan of Tarantino I mean I I date just about everything he's done of love the main reservoir dogs one of my favorite movie that is a big that movie we all know about pulp fiction hateful late I liked I mean is I I like this one I feel kind of like a dummy because I watched it now Mike Laurie asked me what do they have like then I know it's just I don't really was like an owner like the cabrio like head to like only they're all good but the store was just come like what we were not I could I don't know I couldn't get a hold of it is just one of those ones on like what he's really smart guy so I must be a dummy for watch and then I'm not but I did I did not get that one I didn't hate it but I didn't like I would have never guessed in a million years would have been up for Best Picture yeah I I liked it I saw it in a big theater when it came out you know there is that anticipation I think I think that has a lot to do with it now because so many of these movies to be you to watch the Oscars and use all the movies in a theater and now some of the movies are being released you know on Netflix at the same time there in the theater if you are really in the theater at all so I think once upon a time in Hollywood is really one you got to see you know kind of with the crowd maybe have a couple beers before have you know I mean just kind of getting the right talking about I do that for every we have a couple more yeah except for merry story maybe I want to for me yeah our local theaters serves beers beer and wine axes some pretty good beer well they may that's a new experience you mention that let me let me ask you this we're we going with Netflix because I watch the Irishman on Netflix I'm glad I did because it took me two nine to get through it it I mean it is a long a long movie and I think that until Marty had to do is business but that one could have been just as good at three hours I mean that yeah they could tell you that up just a tad it would still be in super long and then it would have been a movie are to said this movie kicks **** like I really liked it but there were parts was like wow man that's the need to be four minutes to me the big baby did did he do we need that same we don't like him like I don't know sixty seconds are gonna kind of moved on but what.

"Postgame says to last night bugs verses slugs and market stops to try to get Steve Kerr and Steve went over to Raymond Ridder for an explanation than that whole thing I was awesome after the war is lost one of seven ninety eight will get in the honest all those kind of things but you almost got a Marcus very well done this I really thought he knew about this happened before the game up our first quarter but I think late to the party so I'm about about everybody knew about it they need to know that that's a long time to give it up and let it go right now now now I want to know do hereby relapse so I will be trying to get them but I did want to get your comic comment on it you did in your own clever way so now the word is that Dan Gilbert and Kobe Allman the GM in Cleveland are not going to fire him but I don't even know how yeah I mean whether was genuine or not I don't know how many times you said the word thought it was a team meeting going over video cell can be line survive here is this going to be the end of his NBA for a on the heels of Bob in the end I don't know I will survive the actual performance on the court right right right he's been in a viral disease in any way always thought it was weird you are a fifty six year old let me see that before where you don't get the old you know the old experience codes the young player different land out of play the right way and it doesn't work out but you know I'll get Boyland lasted a little bit longer to people about maybe they thought they lie would be okay but what would there Kevin love where you know Kobe all may be kind of like a like you don't know what he's doing the lawyer nobody's bill and I'm such a mess I don't know how anybody's Ahmad let alone the dude who said love yeah I don't buy that explicit brother is like okay nice try I don't know the players will as well Marcus Thompson is during this course from the athletic make sure following on Twitter at Thompson scribe let's go to the big story which is not even the game model seven ninety eight the of the bucs really struggle to shoot a basketball the wars generally always do but the recruitment of Yanis and as you have on your time line there step is over there saying let's do it come on man it was Greek heritage night I don't know what else they could they could have done to try to recruit this guy but how do you think it all went last night only you are very well in the no blood thirteen at Yahoo all right like the lawyers are at the bar like given to everybody you know like that that may lead them back to you yes they survive the remainder desperation believe me I I resemble that remark but a spate they may they put the obviously they're making the connection right with the Greek heritage value yonder I really want to get an estimate and ideally there the by the wind yeah this is looking really head over heels about like if you ever want to bomb the out of not everybody you will call here years all right he like passing the about Nigerian about Africa and start a legal over there one of his closest people in the league is below a year in that value during the Iraq yeah was probably got the best out that's a lot of a lot of you like the lawyers you to put that here tonight on this night and then he would really more mold what was the word moon moon won't really miss yeah on it I don't believe that the bay line there S. like the D. Bob the youngest thing obviously is a hypothetical you know based on a comma walkie plays a lot of factors which you just detailed the the the interesting other interesting element is the band Simmons angle I think this just started with a coach kind of connecting the dots about Simmons flying was staff and clay and I don't think Philadelphia will seriously consider trading Emma because I know he's got a flaw with the shot but he's a transcended player but you did ride in the athletic Simmons as one source told me is probably the best player the warriors could possibly get for Russell and I I'm not I don't know how you would contract all of that what else besides de Angelo because Ben Simmons a far better player than de Angelo Russell but the last paragraph that I lifted from your story was a couple of people in the organization for the warriors organization straight out said that Simmons and green meeting Draymond green don't fit together which I mean if it came to that I even have a conversation about moving dream out off the roster including of the trade but is it because they're too nine shooters and just tell me what you know about any degree of a possibility that vans Simmons could be a warrior markets I don't know how I'm I'm on the cat that why would we do this right and obviously everything changes that somehow the war years number one number two number three day and you know I mean you wouldn't none the straight the straight up right but if you're the lawyers and you figure and okay what's the most you can get but this is straight we got they certainly aren't they get Robert Covington right about what their map it out as the player like that bad that'll do but you know a good one a big one and I think kind of the one that makes sense you start looking at the stars where there's a little bit of a rest baby baby there's a chance somebody gets on Abby make the move by that letter that you don't feel like that John is like no I'm not say yeah I mean my everybody what are going down a list obviously you got a look at the end of their but I want you I don't I don't know why he would do that and let me just overwhelmed there maybe baby deal plus the number one big one very rock or whatever right like me who knows but as far as being a yes have been too large shooters on the floor eight out and all that based on motion and movement where at some point everybody will touch the ball it just seems like it's a problem that it doesn't fit we've seen them struggle well have been on the floor you know what I'm doing a dollar a very bottom on the borders of things on you saw people were able to back out I'm a nasty concerns like those he died guide build date now you put a center with them if you have the rotator you can't do that re are you taking on the court right and then become the how do you make this work probably the real answer is that the the backboard five very bottom better more but now you're like you got very bottom plate there thirty minutes a night so they are there a lot it would it would have to kinda all it first you have to give them which is probably the most difficult that they would begin a got to figure out who put around and make it work and I think the former is hard in the latter because Benjamin who is really good and I say you do it anyway if you ever have the opportunity and you figure out to make it work Marcus Thompson is joining us of course from the athletic we talk weekly real quick before let's go we'd be remiss were down here at Levi's stadium and you pick the winners this year what what's just your your early view on the Vikings forty Niners to get a little nervous and a forty Niners oh boy no man you're you know a great popular is given me all the nerds yeah here's a hundred souls rose laurel you go there's a part of me that this bill is like what are you really care about their their first playoff game look like they're in the first playoff game but in the area I just think they're the better team and your love the better team in a network can tell tell me pointed out good point I think about it Minnesota really good in a dome on ten and they won't be in until one thirty five and there might be rain so it's there's a lot of things that could go wrong but in the end I do think they're just better and for some reason I don't know are you still doing your envelope you never been here for a big her dozens who's been here failed board would not yeah I I believe me I I don't know if you were listening to I think the forty that is going to win that game and I'm just saying it's going to be I think it was gonna be to Minnesota defense is good and Dalvin cook is good and their wide receivers and tight ends are good I I mean I think the other line the forty Niners will job and I think the bottom line and general John is a little bit unknown I always think there's but if the Ford comes back I think where the forty Niners will overwhelm them is what they're of the gold rush the front for against Minnesota's offense of line so I think it's gonna be moments for Minnesota's defense makes it difficult but I think overall the forty Niners the win the game you a map arms out I yes I do I think in the end is going to come down to who perform better again what you did the you gotta be giving our Apolo against that bike in the fifties and bring a pass rushing right there okay secondary and really a lot of bad there's or the gonna be hurt because then begins what the forty Niners well before I even got a break I did find it hard to think it's like a big ball play deport and chart a quiet I like better there were like yeah yeah B. M. data get unit so but I thought it would be a blow out of the out of all my older great but the board under way better but you just can't bring it you must reality a lot I'm like oh already you might be right now Alan J. J. played in this game Carl eller implanted in his game Jim Marshall I know hunter and and I was Jim Marshall was playing maybe go the wrong way throws the ball away that was was after the numbers of Griffin wrote down the wrong way throws the ball like that again it was awesome Hey mark is where to do that like you're going to do that would be a fun ever cigarettes and everyone else I interesting it's right that it has fallen Hey markets stress of is always mail talk again soon thanks I will tell us thank you yes I'm looking while you were talking in the we always wonder what what the seventy Sixers do why they would do it I think just because out of frustration or some like that would.

"Welcome back to get a great interview Bob Myers of the Golden State Warriors my thanks to him Raymond Ridder and go in said overall stocks the Buffalo Bills football we're joined by a pro bowler a safety for the bills ten tackles and a forced fumble in that win over Dallas fifty tackles two passes defensed and I. N. T. two forced fumbles and one kickoff return for a TD this season the Tatum what what's in big ten defensive player of the year defensive back of the year one hundred and fifty nine pick in twenty thirteen out of Iowa another huge game for the bills they're hosting Baltimore Sunday CBS game one PM eastern Michael height is my guest Mike nice to have you back how are you I'm good good good good good to take me back to thanksgiving first I get that every single game is significant what does it feel a little bit different when it's Dallas against the cowboys on thanksgiving we are not computer games are having a smoke thing in Dallas and I was always there out into it so other with the with the one Mike hi joining us so Dallas went on a seventy five yard TD drive to start that game and then you have the defense absolutely lock them up the next three quarters what changed and how pleased were you with the way the defense locked in the way it did well well you can zero open god has already gone away for you know you click local Ching replaces all motion in the Americas Allah make the job on other disciplines our brand of football okay got to work the number or knowing that you know down about that one hundred arrested for safety Mike hides my guest after you beat Miami in week eleven your pricing Josh Allen and you made the point that he could be one of the best quarterbacks in the league then he goes out against Dallas on national TV he counts for two hundred seventy four yards had a couple of touchdowns a passer rating of over one twenty what do you make of his performance in that game you know that's that's our corporate America we love them southern computer today well that is part of the server no sense in a football game so you know we write about with them Seuss is almost missing go out there and like you said nasty beyond that you're gonna huge game in order to have so we're not going to be anybody else with a group of about thirty years in the sense of why you walk with you also love to see of all the safety Mike height is my guest going to the game Mike as you pointed out almost everybody picked against you guys then you go out you dominate on the road did it feel like a statement win to you I'm not gonna come in this year of yep you guessed it up in a day we always biographies of stuff we just go out there and put up in the football at us the control we control no no no that's why I think that we would play so well on the roads as we go to but all all week a cemex Imprenta football couple times how would you describe the attitude in the identity of this bills team exactly what is that brand the kind of the same brand of mostly buffalo home it's it's not it's not always pretty that there the day you know going to go out there and work hard and play hard hats on we're going to compete and those going on to the to game and on come down to you know how how fundamentals are hello we are situational football like I said as the city of buffalo two quick other morning go to work no complaining and you know that's that's that's how we try to put you to bed again Mike hi my guess you know you may know the point two about Shonda garment and what he's got a lock on a bunch of guys who've been maybe overlooked guys who are hungry guys want to compete guys who want to help the team win that's actually quote from you so what's it like to play for him and then how valuable is it double locking four guys you've got chips on their shoulders who do have something to prove yeah one of them is there's also you know you're good okay he was sort of the morning was a couple of the longer the lock on the like that not but if you interview the out the you know a lot of guys been awful they've been overlooked well in a lot of dialogue on that gives after what I wanna do Dracula coke is that then fires over teens minutes you know start the top you know a lot of guys been overlooked now that chip on my shoulder you know it's it's amazing to see a lot of these guys you know come together and just how far the one common goal that nice when organs and and try to change this culture in buffalo and that's why you see a contestant in the summertime we got here he's going to do that and so it's a process known record last year did indicate what was going on in the building but not this year we're kind of moving right action between working and noticed another one starts on on something you can talk more with talking like a high for a few more moments for talking goes football so in terms that culture change when you arrived in twenty seventeen D. teaming up in the playoffs since the ninety nine season you go your first year and now you're ninety three you're playing huge games in December so what's been the biggest change from when you first arrive to now how has that culture changed Robert Baker so I can start was on creeks from how to character guys know being aka all you know just just as you want to be around each and every day in Arkansas in the summer you know he's an open locker room you see can you know kids over there in the in the locker room you know with their dads is run around with the version and or whatnot you know lives and you know he's he's living made an open locker for the family I think this kind of record live it's our locker room just everybody knowing each other known says families on to be around each other Michael hi my guest names getting a lot of run for the Pro Bowl I know you're focused on winning games but what does it mean to you to get that kind of respect and what would it mean to you to go back to the probable are you up to the meeting with the hard work that I'm gonna put into this there's a lot of government Stephen Hawkins that there should be a part of it you know I mentioned before when I was a poor or no guys I took a risk it should be there left out some other teams are born on receivers who we are my that I wanted to include that in a minute lights out also past thirty years alongside you know that in certain seventeen so he does good he our names being caught up in Iraq I guess I can mention on on telling them without mention those two guys also Mike hi my guest one last thought you're now ninety three got Baltimore coming to town Sunday not a huge huge game when you think about facing Lamar Jackson what is the key to stopping him in your mind or at least slowing him down what turned out to be honest and well we're going to get in this week also out a phone order all we can do to turn it to the limit a lot of ways I was using a lot of issues on defense is not that of a stock on you know the alternative I has the the secret to stop the more doesn't understand he's a great player quite a bit in the key of the lead this year and button try to contain them you must feel intuitive safety for the Buffalo Bills and a pro bowler and that is a big big game Baltimore at home against Baltimore one PM eastern Sunday it is a CBS game Mike a great to have you back I really appreciate the visit could lock thank you very much we should let me try talking Michael thank you Michael hide them always down to talk those football in this program you know this always down to talk bills football so they're right there they're a game back of the patriots one eight hundred six three six eight six.

"Us warriors win wars when one twenty seven one eighteen over the Blazers in the Western Conference finals rematch paschal breaks out eleven in nineteen thirty four points thirteen rebounds my thought thirty six and went to bed to taken away given to Damian Lee but thirty four thirteen not bad all right he came out to the set what you describe that and and then tell us we're gonna start here first of all Eric admitted at the podium they only scored thirty four and they're two of is through the free throws the Damien lay Chater only as they were given to him which why would I would never have done welcome yes we would have you know why wouldn't I really good evening my order good guy so he ate that just tells you what kind of person anyway so Eric paschal is a name that throughout training camp I've been reading a lot about as we all have that in writing about him his orders and play the game so I go to change for the very first preseason game against the Lakers Ron Adams the defensive coordinator now that is involved but still involved he did a couple of the game scouts this pastor during the home stand to get the warriors ready still involved the first thing you said to me was Eric paschal supplier and he talked about him on his end of the floor defensively but talked about him offense of lane just went on and on about I mean then Molly's gonna join is to twelve thirty Molly you know coached against him in the big east and Eric he just thought there was room to grow and even know that the first game of the home stand near twenty against Phoenix what we're nobody noticed were all non because staff you know brought the second metacarpal but passable got twenty in that game he came out and it you know huge game against Charlotte a lottery pick PJ Washington was checking him a lot of the game for him apart Myles bridges couldn't garden even the veteran Marvin Williams couldn't garden and that then I went to the arena early to wait twenty five in the loss on Saturday I got there early last night the Robertson who I knew well from Kael called a lot of his games is back on the war your staff and he's working with Eric paschal early in the day I mean it it's four forty I got there about four thirty paschal like the great you know Molly would get out early Larry Bird was out you know way early and just got shots paschal got out on the floor about four forty and he works hard to five ten and then they all sat him down with a laptop with a win over the computer stuff and I I'm part image thank and what's a hard work out for you guys get a plate NBA games a few hours are you want to go we already had aborted shoot around and it's just what they're doing here so he goes out and had made a three in his first you know if in the eight games he was all for eighty was offer five again Charlotte the other night he was really close to make it one one eight is still on the line but I saw him working with the on the shot he is a big jump he takes a jump shot he jumps and I think he had a hard time figure out when to let the ball flying he was clearly trying to release the ball when either he was still going up or at the apex of his jump so anyway just so impressed with them and once he did open the game last night John there staggered on undersea in the scouting report this guy can make its results for a given the shot bank thirty seconds into the game he makes his first NBA three on the twenty third birthday comes back a few one possession later sixty three seconds into the game makes a second one thanks a third one at the end of the quarter a seventeen of these off and rolling so I'm Texan Raymond Ridder throughout the game if the warriors wins you know we want paschal on the set of his birthday what a story so does it all he does the care of Burke interview right off the court he goes into meet the media at the podium and that he doesn't even shower right off you take a quick shower but it comes out on the set to join Molly in St may warriors postgame live in the crowds go a notch there chanting MVP and I think there's just give you a little bit of a of feel for what I felt last night the amazing energy around chase to thrive center five city and it was made a lot of reasons but the number one reason clearly was the play of Eric paschal so here's a conversation me and Molly with Eric paschal last night.

"Outside the practice facility every single day than any other teams have the last five years I'm guessing a lot of people are going to go to Los Angeles and camp out this year and I I think that's okay I mean the scrutiny these guys have done under for the past five years non stop is so hard for the average fan to really understand that taking a little of that pressure off I mean I think some interesting things will happen now a Raymond Ridder again P. R. man extraordinaire I'm giving given him short trip on his title but Raymond's also he's great at what he does the sent me a picture of you and bill Russell last night at the espys with that that was a really really cool picture and I'd read the stories about you and bill Russell in in your in your friendship I'm just curious if you could share that with the end by the way when the Arthur Ashe courage award last night at the espys just kind of the genesis of that of that relationship between you and bill Russell yeah I got a chill just hearing you say that again with him when I wore last night was a it was a pretty special anything I'm pretty pretty wonderful to be able to be there and share with them so you know I was a I was a twenty year old part time employee at the sonics with with the desk in the office hall way and bill Russell was our coach and general manager the sonics and I would have to work odd hours just because I was going to school the same time and bill is in a Tory asleep early riser he's often in at seven in the morning so on a Saturday at seven o'clock we be bumping into each other in the office never spoke a word and one day one of those mornings he stuck his head out look down the hallway and said Hey white.

"Went really long with Gary. So we got to set the clock straight, but Raymond Ridder checked in. Thanks. Listen, raymond. I said, hey, Gary face centre, has a thousand parking spots under the arena in itself, and more around it in nearby parking garages. He said, please have g wash give me a call. Yeah. So the tensions already in the air at their sniping going on. There's arguments, you gotta break the tension. I like to involve three of my favorite ingredients. When I do that. One of them would be a one of my favorite bands of all time, black Sabbath. Murphy know how I feel about black Sabbath. Seventh man me. That's right. Exactly. We all need more black Sabbath. Really loud in the dugout if you disagree and I said. The thirteen year old kids calls a strike a ball, I go. In the dugout and then captured it. That's what it said. "Which divided our show at six AM you had people like cope saying you didn't like it at medium impact. Brian say and he didn't like it bunny, Joe is definitely if he if not negative on it. What were you like it? I thought it was a classy. I'm okay with it on this day and age. We need a little civility, we need a little, we need a little above the above, shall we say, here's what you're looking for, or if you want this kind of behavior, sit here and drink, gentlemen. And I asked Raymond Ridder Raymond, what's the story. So here's the story. Joe Peter as he says, if you gotta ask last names, and you're not a true warrior fit Joe and Peter took the idea to Rick welts, Rick welts loved it. They thought it was a classy thing to do, especially for their first ever title, which is usually, the sweetest. He says, funny background. The idea was given to Rick early Friday afternoon by Joe and Peter and they called the Toronto Star only knowing without knowing that the print deadline was ten minutes away. So they only got it in by accident ten minutes before the print deadline for the parade day had they been fifteen minutes later, it would not have run on day as. Raymond says timing is everything in life. Cope said that was first win. Yeah. So, so. I just want to know what LeBron's tuned. Stay tuned. We'll give you the douching maybe too much. Deadline. Yeah. Very or we can give you the key word of the day to coming up at some point for the keyword for God's sakes waiting. It's up to bring it in. He hasn't brought it in. We got listeners harassing us on the line saying what because it's a three day rollover. It's two thousand and forty bucks. I'll take that you can buy a print ad in the Toronto Star for two thousand and forty bucks to have my keyword of the day, I would have to keywords of the day because we have import any coffee in ages around here, I drink the.

"Hey game six tonight tonight. We got it for ya Ma will be on the sidelines for us. ESPN LA tonight. Pre game at five tip at six to watch it. It's on ABC seven and joining us live from the site of game six beautiful Oakland, California for the last time this is the last dance Momo for the fine people at oracle arena, and you will be there. How you doing? I'm great. You know, I'm having a nice lunch at this, like, really good Vietnamese spot here at across from where the warriors practice and I had the same idea as C per who also having lunch like four tables with. Like we're all kinda like nostalgic because it's kinda like the last few times, we're gonna be here for me. It's definitely the last time, I don't know why come back up right, there will not this matter system, the Knicks preseason. Game is in the chase center. Yeah, I mean, I guess there'd be like exit interviews. Or maybe they'll kind of work at this ability and tell everything's all done over there. Maybe maybe the warriors coach here, you know, maybe they'll still be here a little while longer. But let's let's to it, you know. And obviously there were sadness in game five with the Kevin Durant injury. Where were you? And how did how did you see it? Where is your view? So I went behind the warriors Ben, and I didn't see him go down because I was kind of blocked off from the sight line. But I heard everyone on the bench and they were all, you know, I think they all do right away. What happened, right? Like they all were like Kevin went down. And so, I oversee scampered over there to go see what was going on. But. You know it was, and then I mostly spent time in the hallway with referred as kinda waited made it for the injury update, which we everybody had a feeling what it was. But you just kinda hoping it wasn't, and I remember at one point like Doris is getting a ton of pressure to face something on the air. Right. Everybody's like what's going on? What's going on? And you know, I get pressure on radio, but it's it's a little different than than than that. I you know, radio, they're, they're just calling the action and all that. So doors got producer ears getting, Raymond Ridder's the PR guy up here, and she kinda Raymond. We just need something he goes look, I was back there. Myers has his hand his hands over his head. It's a really emotional, and they're really quiet. I'm just giving space. Ramona varies a. There's a reaction to this, where some people feel that you that blame should be assigned in Charles Barkley, for example, says this is completely the warriors fault that they never should've put it back out there. I don't really think you can blame anybody. I think that, that the doctors Dino said what they said it turns out, they, they were wrong, but it it you know, they didn't have any evil intentions. Do you think anyone's to blame for what happened to Kevin Durant? No. I mean I gotta be honest like the doctor did his surgery yesterday. Dr Mollie, he's one of the doctors cleared him, right? I mean, this is heaven doesn't these heavens, doctors that, you know, they team has their doctors layer has their doctors. I think Dr Mollie works like a team doctor for the nets he's like widely regarded, he's like the east coast version of Neil Elettra, right? Right, right. The guy who does everybody on the west all the big surgeries. Like like this is like these are top of the line people, and they're not just like worrier people. This is heaven wanted. A play lean. He wanted to get well, the Momo data that aside Kevin wanted to play isn't isn't players players. Always wanna play. It's sometimes teams and doctors need to protect players from themselves..

"That's what I keep hearing about. I keep hearing the scouting report. Speed speed speed. They're bringing crazy speed. Yeah. So you got that seven you got the drafted for. And then you've got the warriors in here, we go handle your business than I don't even get into the territory where you gotta contempt the game seven. That's one game your whole seasons on the line. My better question happening seven no question. No question. Are they speaking to each other is my question. Go ahead break this down. So I mean, we got most of our listeners might know by now or if you don't Steve Kerr was doing his media hit at raccoon performance center. That's it formerly known as the Oakland Marriot fifth floor, and if you've ever been there, you know, they played loud music, really loud. In fact, that's part of Kerr's culture is that he brought the music to the warriors. And they enjoy that. But it does make it difficult to do the QNA's. And so that's kind of been an ongoing problem. But yesterday. Draymond mongering was out shooting late, which is good. Saw somebody on Twitter said you mean that that do actually practices that backpack? Jumper. Oh, man. That's pretty good line. Pretty good because he doesn't shoot. Like, he's got a backpack on me. But anyway, the the music was very loud. It happened to be the music of the late rapper, nipsy hustle. So that has any news pig to it. Because of the team is still mourning his death, right? And Steve Kerr with no jocularity, and no like for 'Voliti, kind of salty stood up in his chair and shouted to our guy. Raymond ridder. Raymond. Can you get them to turn the music down? Your undermined the LSU coach coach Agron when he says remember that tells I you tell someone who's telling the guys I'm I'm having a conference right now. And then they kept going. Remember, you got married full up copes found. Sound.

"Seven point. Maybe lease got it and the final regular season seconds. Forty seven years in this building through the left field that has a chance. It is gone. A leadoff Homer. For Yandi Diaz Arroyo hits a little blue into right center field. Here comes cure Meyer. The throw from Duggar and cure buyers. Slides in safely, here's Crawford swinging roller loud. The second baseman has it. And the ball game is over the raise win three to nothing. Dave, I thought you were going to I think you're going to do with the other way around. Maybe maybe start us off with a three nothing giants loss and then roll us into the celebration and oracle I got all fired up. And then you punch me in the gut just like the Tampa Bay rays into your San Francisco Giants yesterday, they two out of three from the giants a three nothing win in which the giants. After a pretty exciting game on Saturday approved ahead. A little bit of life in the bats. Prove they could pitch proved that they could get a win against one. The top teams in the American League they came out flat yesterday. And and that was about it three nothing giants lay down. They was two or three to Tampa Bay. And we'll get into the offensive woes for the San Francisco Giants. But off the heels of what was the final regular season home game at oracle arena for the warriors last night. And I was out there some celebration a lot of fun last night. I thought that and I'm not one to get it when it comes to basketball, and I've talked about this before with baseball. I've got the emotion I've got the, you know, knowing the games with my of the final weekend of the season every year back when it was packbell park, and then oracle AT and T and now, of course, oracle park spending time with my mom, they're walking through those doors for the first time with my dad, my brother to see a ballgame in the year two thousand I have the emotion baseball little bit differently than I do for basketball. I've always had a tougher time. Trying to find a motion in the building that is oracle arena or that forever was the arena in Oakland. When I was a kid member eastern tonight have a sponsor for that thing. Just sitting out there next door to network associates Coliseum. Dave, the O dot co whatever. Whatever the hell the sponsor is calling the Coliseum this year. But I thought they did a pretty good job for for a situation for the warriors. And we talked about this a little bit last week where it's odd to celebrate. Or to do a sendoff for a building which is just sort of a don't want to say fabricated. But it's it's a sendoff for building that you're not totally sending-off at least not for that couple of months, at least that's the hope for warriors fans and for the the players on the team and everybody within the organization to do it in a way. That's that's perfect. You'd have to have a situation where you're very aware. This is gonna be the last game. Maybe you end up with another game. Seven auto Father's Day type thing like they did in the seventy three win season or you end up with a season where your team's not going to the postseason. So you're saying goodbye to the end of the regular season and to a crap. P team as you get ready to leave and head your new building. Neither of those with the case for the warriors last night. I do think that the warriors brass and that those involved in it. I'm not sure how much Raymond Ridder's involved or or how much the the promotional team is involved. What say Joe lake has an all this or Peter Guber Steve Kerr the warrior players themselves. I don't know exactly who has to say in what goes down. But I think as far as a regular season finale goes for a team that is expecting to play for another NBA championship. They did a pretty good job. I got a text last night James can cater used to be our one of our producers, Eric kmby are he's not one of the producers for the radio broadcast of the Golden State Warriors. He was at wrestlemania yesterday. He gave me his tickets so session. I went out last night to the game. And he should be it takes after the game. And he says I'm seeing all the stuff on social media from the celebration was epic. I said epochs not really the word because they're not done playing basketball games. They're they're not even done playing basketball games yet in the regular. Season what they are done with is their quest for the number one seed orders pick up the one seed last night in a win over the clippers which is a little bit interesting because the clippers are a team that could still end up being the eight seed to take on the warriors. Now, if the clippers lose to the jazz in their final regular season game, it's likely that that'll be the team the warriors see in the first round still a chance for them to see the Spurs or the thunder as well as the eight seat so up some other stuff about the celebration before we get into the ballgame from last night and the reflections from the players and from Steve Kerr the game started and throughout the game. And I think you could have expected this. They did a bunch of the little scoreboard vignettes, which I thought was kind of cool where it was almost as if I sort of go back to when Candlestick Park closed what my uncles one of his good friends. Kyle Vincent who bay area musician. I think he's back east. Now went to Berkeley, High a guy he was commissioned to by the giants to make a song or. Create a song. And maybe we'll try to find it during the break. I in my family, and I've always joked the son was called telecom by of course, quoting long Simmons. But the song was basically a a farewell to giants fans from the perspective of Candlestick Park. And it was a it was as if the stadium were singing to you is fans saying, you know, I tried to bring wind here. Tried to bring the cold to give us a home field advantage to try and help us win though. I'm just concrete and steel I can feel and I remember the days when Willie was planned center and bonds touched them, all when we laughed when Lasorda wave to the to the crowd or or wave to the sorry. Wave to the bullpen to bring in a pitcher. It was a cool song from the perspective of a ballpark. Right. If the if the stadium itself a lifeless stadium that we put so much love and passion into which is the same with oracle arena. Where to tell us it's favorite memories. That's what this song was. I felt as though the warriors did a pretty good job at attempting to do that last night. They did was throughout the game. And there was probably one a quarter. What they did was they had a sort of like vignette, and they went through different eras of it started in like the the early San Francisco warrior days when they came over from the cow palace. They were playing games sort of back and forth between the cow palace, and they got the arena up and running in the seventies. And then they've got the the Rick Barry era warriors. And it's basically these little vignettes that were narrated by Steve Kerr, and they all ended with a thank you oracle. Or this one's for you oracle or the emotion that they gave us then it rolled into one of the we believe it rolled into the down years that were tough the I like to call them the Todd fuller years. Dave, maybe the the Joe Smith days, the Calbert Cheaney days the Cliff Robinson days, if you're a warrior fan for generations, you know, which one I'm talking about and they roll right into the to. What is now? The we believe warriors. And it was fitting that last night and anybody who saw the game on TV. Saw that the warriors pretty specially. And I know Murph would hate this because Murph hates thinking about that era of of crisco hand warrior basketball for someone like me who that's really all. I can remember. I was too young really to remember the TMC warriors and even pretty young when Latrell Sprewell was choking PJ cartilage simple this era of thunder, thunder, the mascot that area of worrier basketball was much out at so for the guys for the for Steph curry to last night right is the games getting going? They all sort of pull off their warm ups and the crowd went bananas for it, dude. Steph sort of pump it up his his chest plate. That's got the Diana warriors across it looked cool having his shimmery thirty on the back. It looked cool seeing it looked weird actually CNN over five out there that said looney and not Davis. But it was kind of cool to have the warriors and the old. Do those commercials where it was like they used to. I remember like getting ready for school in fifth sixth seventh grade and you'd hear advertisements. Maybe. Right here can be our come see Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O'Neal take on your Golden State Warriors was like they were advertising the visiting teams coming in. It's a great time out the two thousand renovate the all star game here. I I was thinking last night session. I were thrown back and forth. And you know, she moved here not that long ago in the last five years, she moved to the United States. So she doesn't have the same feeling about oracle that a bunch of us do is when you were kids, but she was asking about my favorite moments that oracle arena. And I started thinking, you know, I saw my first concert at oracle. I started thinking about dude the Honey dip, the Vince Carter going put in his elbow in the rim. That was all there after the renovation of the like said the two thousand all star game. So there have been some great moments in that building that I'm sure we're going to continue to reflect on kmby, or if you've got some of your favorite warrior moments or favorite moments from in that. Building. I'd love to talk with would love to hear those at the celebration last night. I thought as I said was pretty good. So on the other side, we'll get into some of the Steve Kerr sound as well as some of the other stuff they did the Oakland symphony last night. I got to give it to them. That was probably the number one. It was classy. It was cool. And what they did was they have the symphony. I believe artist symphony did the national anthem, but they did sort of a John Williams type thing at halftime where the symphony came out. They played a big montage on the scoreboard in the symphony basically played along with it until you got to the era of the we are the champions era, and they broke right into a little Queen and Freddie Mercury somewhere the championship. It was cool, man. So we'll talk a little bit more about that. If you were out there last night, and you're up early with me edelweiss Cambier would love to hear from you. And what you thought of the celebration last night, some former players out there, which was great. And I'm going to hang out this morning, actually, Brian Murphy out today. So I'll be with you till ten o'clock, Paul McCaffrey buddy, Jo laflin coming in. But rick. Jerry gonna join us. He was out there last night. So you gonna wanna stay tuned to Camby are all day long. We'll do more warrior talk. We'll get right back into some San Francisco. Giants talk. There's no days off and right back into it, Madison. Bumgarner tonight and hey Padres getting hot right before they come to San Francisco brilliant. Dave fantastic fan fricking tastic more warrior coming up on the other side, the number one seed in the Western Conference on the sports leader wonderful Monday. Day. Make sure everybody's getting some resting snap day. Sees the leadoff spot. With Adam Copeland on KNB are six eighty sports leader better life with Dr Sanjay Gupta.
