Let's get into the movie review we are doing The DC animated universe. Newest movie came out on May Fifth and just available now on Blu Ray. Dvd Justice League dark apocalypse war. We will spoil it so if you WANNA go watch it right now. Pause right here while I play the spoiler alert or jump ahead to the next section. Let's spoil some Shit Batman tied all that together. The tiniest bit of thought that goes into this listener. This is the sequel. The twenty-seven Justice League dark the fifteenth and last movie in this DC animated movie universe that started with flash point in two thousand thirteen and the thirtieth overall in the DC universe animated original movies. So this movie actually is a serialized Is the last part of a serialized story. They've been telling basically you kind of had to us the other movies. And he moved ahead Justice League or team titans in the title. That came out before this. It was all leading up to this on rotten tomatoes. I don't know if this twelve reviews. It's one hundred percent so I very early. Seven point seven out of ten on the average rating. But it's giving it on percent. This movie is directed by Matt. Peters and Christine Assata written by Ernie Els Becker and has a pretty crazy cast. Everybody in the DC Universe is kind of in this movie. You Got Roger Cross playing Jon Stewart and the Voice of Swamping Rosario Dawson voicing wonder woman Christopher Gorham voicing the Flash Camilla Lexington as the Tana Shimomura as cyborg Jerry. O'connell Superman Jason o'meara. Who's as Batman? Who's done Batman for years? Met Ryan a live action. Constantine voicing the animated John Constantine Ray Chase as etre gin Stuart Allen as Damian Wayne Testified Meka as a raven and Liam McIntyre captain. Boomerang Tony Candyman Todd. As dark side himself. And there's some there's two more Goodwin's Rebecca Romaine voicing Lois Lane and rain Nelson Dwight shirt from the office voicing lex Luthor and then Hinden Walsh Doing Harley Quinn That's up the whole Justice League roster right there and if any told me the plot of this what a lot of Shit happens in this movie I love. I didn't realize that they were doing animated shared universities and animated shared. You're not thinking I knew about in the back of my head but it's been so long on seven years. I've watched most of them. I haven't watched all of them. I've watched a like a handful of I. Don't think meet if watch all of them to enjoy this. Okay that was part of my review but all right buts okay. as far as the plot apocalypse or not apocalypse dark side is invading has a plan to take over earth and the rest of the universe The Justice League preemptively decide to go after him. But that's all part of a dark sites plan. He eliminates a good portion of all the heroes on earth. And it's a two year time jump and Superman and Raven Raven Rally John Continent a bunch of villains and the remaining earth heroes to plot the last stand against dark side. Yes to heroes. Don't quite Wayne really they do. But Tony Let's start with you. Anthony What did you think? Yeah I didn't like I said I didn't realize this was part of an animated universe so I haven't seen just sleep dark. It's been a while. I think. The last one I saw was the Atlantis. These are all also the whole universe was based on the new fifty two. So you and we've read that if you read that you kind of know these characters and where what happened. I think there's a lot of playoff payoffs in this film that I just wasn't familiar with. I got you so that kind of heard it for me. Yeah it's okay. It's it's it's a very violent and very dark yet. Very like Nihilistic in terms of like what's going on to the heroes it's unrated but it would have been an Ra to movie. There's a couple of in there. Yeah it's it's it's and there's a lot of very brutal dismantling heroes. Yes solar. I found it to be entertaining but I found it to be kind of okay. Okay rugs what'd you think watching this? I thought it was entertaining and I had fun with. It was a couple of times I was chuckling at like. Just how like huge characters would just be dismembered random list. It's dark but it's also kind of funny to yes. I find it to be unintentionally funny out among Oh this character is now headless. He's well he's dead or that she just died arm. Got Ripped off all fucking great okay. There's no that going to like. Draw it out Do it right lane Tuesday. Everybody fucking buys. Yeah so it was funny to see like characters with years and years of establishment and whatever just become ill gel facing parrot which are Para Demons Mixed with Doomsday Para. Do Sarah Dumon's produce. I thought they were paradise which I thought that was interesting concept yet they mixed up the demons with the Doom Doomsday DNA. And they could not fight these guys. These guys are just for some reason. Cg At some points in time in a regular drawings the other time Oh yes considered floaty siege guys in the distance. I noticed that too. Yeah and it was just weird that they did both with them anyway. Animation overall over oil like. Everybody looks like Tom. Cruise Chins and cheekbones. Yeah I didn't I didn't mind. It was pretty good. Look exactly like Tom Cruise I. That's weird I kind of enjoyed the crazy. Fuck in shocking things. That happened at this movie. I wasn't expecting it. It's interesting that the Zach Snyder thing breaks on the same week. We watch this because part of me is like this is the fucking movies x night or wanted to like his three-part plan was a lot was going to be this. Everybody dies at is goes evil in his. Oh that's a good point and they did a reversal I think instead of I think In his version superman is evil and in Batman Saves the day and this version Batmans evil in. Yeah yeah they put so. I think we if we go character by character. I think we get a good sense because there was a couple of things that I thought. Were clever You know the the idea that the point movie caused this season's head. It's a nice way to tie it. And the ending is interesting. Also tying it back to the movie the ending is is not all that happy And it's basically like. Hey let's do another reset. I did find it interesting. Like the movie Kinda turns. You know it's not your typical superhero movies. Heroes within the first two minutes die. It's the hunter reminded me of endgame. Yup It's there s mission and then like they completely fail within the first five minutes and then you do at times and you see so. It's always interesting to see like where the heroes are at when they're depressed they've lost time to play with that concept of like almost else world's tail just like endgame. It has a time reset at the very end and I love that last line like the end of the movie destroyed dark side but he sucked out thirty percent of the cord that there's going to be a billion people die and Constantine's overhearing superman talk about this and then he goes to flash and he's like you know you have to do mate clear the board start again and fucking flash takes off and does another flashpoint and so this is a great way to clear for them to start a new thing But let's talk about some of the characters because I think one of the highlights is Matt Ryan's Constantine. He is the fucking perfect. Constantine Live Action Animated Guy Nails this role. He gets it does he. Fuck the fish.

Christina V Erika her locker enough. She is. Is Elizabeth Christina VS hawk really. Yeah. Oh, wow. I didn't know this. Yeah. Yeah, that's dope. Some trying to load up behind the voice actors but sometimes sliced say is really. Yeah. It's like everyone to know like who's voicing who is a great side, because the they've gotta feature were like he can't remember their name is picture in picture is like character voice actors fantastic. It's really great features so much more. We're looking for DeAnne, right. Yes. Okay. Oh, erica. Mendez. Yeah. Oh, great shoes. So. Getting a line and gets done. Well, have to for months. I five. Signed it. A lot of the times when I love a lot of lot of what's happening now with voice actors is they're going out and seeking independent artists do commissions of their characters in supporting artists that way, I should start drawing again, if you drew before then. Because I didn't know that. So gone through the Admiral, we've got through the cartoons. Let's not video game crash. First video game crush on you. Okay. Okay. Oh, so you're not a recruit person on. Okay. Okay. I mean, not that I had any preconceived like nurses, be just. As price. No, I just you're either a person or even both on cooking. Or goofy person. That's okay. Okay. No one was Donald parson game. Three. When you need to change your healing set. But think it worked out too. Well for me. Okay, so sir. Cloud, cloud. For me. My video video first game crush. So this would have been. So I have to kind of go through some history here. So I started playing like sonic and Mario super supremacy Sega, one of the Sega Genesis probably. Right. And then PlayStation one PlayStation, two. So it probably be around the PlayStation, two era, which I know. Probably you fee. Yeah. He's great probably probably UV. Yeah. From final fantasy seven series. If you could. Her kingdom hearts. She sounds exotic know who was his UP offhand, but she gives me that the kind of energy that I got from her and trying to fantasy seven and it really made playing the first kingdom hearts games, so much fun. Let's see mine. Sonja. So in the blade. Worldcom auto combat. Yes. And. Really suffering attention for a while. And then. Australia. I say, oh, well, heck, that, okay. So of not of this is from g you so not Attlee who's the pie. Yeah. High. Of course dude that character design. Even. God, they had some great just an game of. Yeah. And if we definitely had different video games right up for sure. Thinking back to my life's box wasn't that play. And they'll lying. Russian characters had been myself. Dad brought his XBox game with he moved in and go his XBox. He had a game called conquers bad for a. Don't kid little for as? Rare young child devil should not have been might not gain. No, no discovers playing that game. So I was gonna say female characters from congress Bedford fair, fair. That's fan. I mean, all my shooters and stuff like. Unless unless I picked Cortana for pale. Let's. Especially whether you win more games come out with better graphics. They just give the more detail, right? Yeah, you see. So article this like new ill at least Cortana is w thick. Which was an actual article I saw that especially with David hater one that was the David hater for for snack. That was going, you know, I also wanna wanna earn all also wanna turn this one around to say and as if anyone has current video game crushes like. Story. It's, it's probably. Oh, let me guess, is it prompter? They're like do there. But they haven't noticed. But. Means cloud, especially in very. There's something I just. Go away scam, like are, what is your cards? Ernie. Employing through the Witcher three right now. So gary. Girls have Rubia. And. And decks because still loved him. Mr. Mr. Jerry went to get. Oh for current I'd say, probably. Probably diva may, I mean, may just because she's so pure in incident, but diva tank made an overwatch show and I think saying is so would be. Kind of she's a robot. But whatever hurry is moving. We don't judge here. But yeah, given. Yeah. Nothing for you being in the game gone. I haven't personally time what is really? Risi came of Russia. Good. Really? Lynne's. But our lands lands. Yeah. All the siren solid, all of them, moxie. Yeah. Maxine? Got cannot with that third game. Boy, last dove, you have needs have to get him. Need to play are? Yeah. I have to decide if I want to get that for PC or PS four and it's going to kill me that struggle design, so. I wouldn't be surprised gearbox prevent some cross play for both yet. There's cross play the night. Probably just get it for PC rate, especially since they're doing activision. They're doing cross play for the new more modern warfare, and the new call of duty has crossed between piecing console. Oh, great. So starting to see some more of that, which, you know, we have to because thanks Google. Try to stay alive here. Yeah. So getting away from the whole crashes and stuff the other big one that I've been saying a lot. I free crush lullaby space, Jim. Another big one that I've been seeing lately that, I really liked to see a lot is a hash tanked up love. Because we've been seeing a lot of France around voice actors and how they do their work and how Vitmain compensated trailer where because of what is essentially their instrument, and it's like their livelihood for a lot of them. They aren't doing like enemy or dubbing over like movies, and stuff like that. They're doing commercials. A lot of them saying and do and music on the side. So we see seeing a lot of that. And a lot of the voice actors who I personally Filo. Heaven going around, and using the same hash tied, and dislike gassing up, essentially, there other like their other riccar leagues and the people they worked with those who's working like and as far back as I could see because it really only popped up on my feet within the last week or two. It really got late started when the coalition of dubbing actors of tweeted about tweeted using the hashtag, and they said, we have nothing but love for you. All tell us who you have to have dove love for in this community, the actors the fans character and the end. Underneath that like the first message is from a been Diskin, who was number one and number two, I believe, in kids next door from his kids, nor he was got he so many people, a lot of everybody and just wanna see like. Scooby have some double for who are like some of your favorite voice actors some of the work that they've done things like that. The two that pop to mind for me immediately, the ones is like getting the anime, conventions and stuff. I started to see like you guys, you guys know everyone's name and like the voice actor or actress all stuff, so nothing with enemy for me. Get any of the characters Nate level voice actress, but for just voice actors in general definitely Nolan north. Really raising work as also John Maggio done, too, much, where so many amazing characters any such unique voice. There's going, you see people doing impressions of, of characters south. I've never once seen John Vasja character his voice, who it sounds of so unique. And as the farther back, I go into TV or TV shows like sit John John Maja. Let my bike Melva making over was trying to watch Sam original samurai Jack's. We watched the new samurai Jack they did. Yeah. And they got the Scotsman like that, John as you. Scott's daddy. Number one is Jason Tatum. Number one is hard. There's a lot like tot Habra corner in. Recently is. Ben Justin Rimer minor Rene. Is that you? He works hard flick as much as Decca screams Elliott. He wear all my. That's end in that same vein of at one of mine is a just really. I swear grail where it's he says it's really but I don't believe that was debunked Beth Akon, when, when he said his last days, the into the pedal, yet Adinan. It's like when it's like when the people try to tell me that the fourth opening for Naruto is called go, when it's clearly called trading dreamers out on. No man, I don't know if I believe it. But yet, it's just really discount. I love her work a lot. Eric Harley is fantastic work. Terraced sans. Tear, strong filled Amar. The crease summer. I could go forever because they all do such good work. So Johnny lash can have. Gotta get that one out there to so many people max middlemen Levin has work right now. Robbie Draymond maybe damage yesterday Damon. Yeah. Sorry. David, and he hit now that I say that loud Riley, and max and knock. This is active Ray chase chase. They're starting a podcast amazing. Yeah. Check them out at to forget what it's called, but they are all talking about right now. So find one of them it's one of the post recently, so definitely check that out to another show. I saw online voice actors may, but he's he has voice acting podcast was show on the internet. The he brings on older voice mail. Talk show like where he does like interviews. Yeah. The voice yet. Yeah. Here. That is a talking tunes. I think without pulse. Airmails right.

There's video games that I'll go through it and start was really the first one to encapsulate that phenomenon Peter, this is a series that used a hundred eighty tracks of audio in some places and over twenty thousand clips in, in some capacity or another the sound design at in, in London where we hear the London London Symphony Orchestra playing Star Wars, and then that sound effect of the music, kind of shifting. There's that weird kind of phase shift thing going on. And then we end up somehow on the other side of a phone line hearing it through the phone Stevens. They're talking on that. And there's this whole kind of, we're crossing the ocean. Right. We're crossing the ocean. Where did that idea come from and? What was the wh- did you did, you know, the way you want this to sound because I actually have it in the script. Right. Didn't. And we hunt him on the phone only. Right. But we never it was never indicated in the script. Let's cross the other line. Right. But remember, I think halfway through the entire process we kind of threw this idea, I think user that idea me you were like, hey, maybe on some of these phone calls a we can do it. And, and then I was like, not some that one that one is going to be amazing. If we can try to do there, because it's going to really help the story. And that's the most critical thing it was like always going back when we do these things. It's like really understanding. Are we helping the audience follow this, or is it just for entertainment because it's like we don't want gimmicks? We wanted to really help you understand, and be amazed because to us to me, for example, I'm going to speak for myself, but it was kind of a mazing. They were record. Ding the score in London and the other guy was in the US. Stephen was in Los Angeles, Los Angeles. And he's listening to on the phone. Think about that for a second listening to John Williams score on the phone for half an hour, wait Alabama. Right. It was an Alabama. Yep. So, yeah. Think about it listening to an entire score of John Williams for half an hour on a phone sitting

But I please take a moment to give us a five star review and share us with someone you know, and for lots more, extras and exclusives from the series. Follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram or support us at get blockbuster dot com. Thanks for listening to blockbuster. I'm max middlemen. I play Steven Spielberg in blockbuster. And I matched writer creator of the series. Welcome to this third installment of our behind the scenes conversations. And we're now at the halfway point of this six part series. And we hope you're enjoying the story as it's beginning to get a little more intense. And max this episode starts off with Steven Spielberg and Martin Scorsese riding around New York to look at people lining up for jaws, and it was one of those cool moments. You almost don't believe really happened. But at the same time Spielberg was just getting his first taste of fame. How did you try to embody the inner excitement of the young Spielberg? Well, I feel like no matter who you are you can relate to Spielberg in some way, it's cool because Spielberg is not a fictional character. He's a real person with real emotions Spielberg was a guy who always exuded passion. And even when he was young and inexperienced. And I was an am the same way, you know, the early troubles on jaws. Really absolutely devastated him. And he wasn't sure he'd ever work again. You know, the scene where he's driving around New York looking at the lines in the theaters for jaws. I wanted to embody the joy of that moment for Stephen and the the high that he was writing at the time. And of course, we get to see the start of Stephen success with John Williams too. And in this episode. He wins the Oscar, and then Stephen, of course, ambitious as he is wants to get right back into his next movie and make music essential part of it. Yeah. How cool is it that, you know, you John Williams music? He feels like is such a great part of why that movie was successful. And so on jaws, right? You know, he credits John for saving that film. And he never had any idea that John would wanna do something. Like, the the to note jaws theme, which is super ambitious and kind of very risky and it worked so. Well that Stephen wanted his music to be part of. Story for close encounters of the third kind and we hear during that spotting session or they're trying to find the, you know, the five notes this time that became the female of that of that movie. And it's a really cool moment because these are events that actually happened in the they really did go through hundreds of different combinations of notes together to find the perfect combination. And and and that's that's awesome. And speaking of of aliens toward the end of this episode. There's a scene where Stevens crew is stargazing. And they're pretty sure they see a real UFO in the sky. Yeah. Oh, we don't know it, you know, that's was that real that's real life blending with fantasy. We'll never know if that was something that was really out there or not. But it's cool that it's cool to think that that inspired Stephen in a way, and that that had an impact on on making his movies and one of those weird coincidences too. You know because it scared the crew a little bit because there was this thing hovering, and it's documented in a great book by Ray Morton about the making of that movie close encounters, but he said that it it was determined to be a satellite, but to satellite just hover there. It's it's a little odd and made weirder by the fact that NASA started taking an interest in in Stevens film after that too. Right. Right. Was was that was that a government scheme just to make good movies? Was that who does Stephen could be an alien. And and that would explain why his movies are so good will never know. Lastly max. We enter the final three episodes of this series. You're pretty good friends with Ray chase who plays George Lucas in this series, and we recorded you guys together. So we could kind of tap into that friendship and artistic report that Stephen and George had for each other. What did you feel like that brought to this story? I think it's really important for everyone to have a friend like that. And especially in the entertainment industry where there are no guarantees that you'll be successful. And you know, there's very little security right on the odds are always again, you when you do have a failure. It's really important to have someone to talk to and to lean on and to lift you back up and let you know that that's that's not the end of your career. And this is a story of the friendship between Stephen and George and how they support each other. Even through some of the worst film productions that really got out of hand and studios wanted to pull the plug on. And it was this. Tip that inspired them to keep going. And and Stephen and George both believed in the idea of a blockbuster film model right with your Matic and mythological elements that would. Sort of appeal to massive audiences and that was brand new at the time. And it might not have happened. If not for their good friendship. So I think that's so important. Really? Appreciate you taking this on max and bringing all the research in the drama to life, max middlemen, the voice of Steven Spielberg, blockbuster an honor to work with you. Yeah, I'm afraid of that too much to the budgets has to be guys. Gotta look real. Or won't be scary. What's the point? If it's not going to be scary. All right. Steve, really? This is Ray chase voice of George Lucas and blockbuster match raider creator, and narrator of blockbuster each week will be discussing some of the interesting fines we had in making each episode and today Ray, and I are talking about the movie brats and George Lucas. Yes, how did you sort of tap into the character of George Lucas? Well, one of the first things that that I did was do a little bit of research in and find what he sounded like as a young man, and they're honestly wasn't a whole lot. So I kind of got the cadence his speech patterns down. But what I did tap into. Because it's what this this whole podcast is about was into his emotional world in and sort of showing the the sight of him that we don't see from those press junkets sin and things like that the time where he's not in front of the camera or even in front of a room of of people working on something that he's passionate about but the quieter moments, and you talk about how you. Took on that behavioral and vocal character. Yeah. -solutely I sort of went into that sort of internal round making it as if there wasn't even a microphone there that I was even just muttering some of these lines to myself that I think really shows us gets us a lot closer to the characters that were portraying the head space of of exactly and George himself isn't a boisterous person in the first place. So we he was he was quieter down. Anyway, did you find it more difficult to tap into the younger greener more idealistic version of George Lucas in this first episode? Well, I in him in in real life. He was always hoping that this was going to be a success. And this was going to be the project that really put him on the map and show his artistic sensibilities and share them with the world. And I always try to put that in the character. Even even as things were we're getting towards the later episodes. To show that there was a lot of naievety in him. And really every single setback that he found that he that he doubts himself a little bit a little bit each time. But he keeps his optimism shining through throughout the whole thing. "I was like this is a job. I really wanted to go. Well, Nick will tell you that I was super awkward and like probably a little impolite like we did not like each other. That's what's fun is. I think this is in the game. Like Alec and the player didn't like each other one hundred percent true. Wow. If he came in, and he was sort of a big personality. And I was like I'm not going to work hard to like ingratiate myself to the student. I think is something completely inappropriate and I read through. So it was like a long road of like now we like, text and call and most super super close. It's amazing. And it's like a special opportunity with catcher story arc. We did. And it's possible because we actually acted in the same space. You don't have that opportunity with people. So we actually Bertrand a couple years ago and Kirk and I were asking her like so like meeting and getting to talk to. Yeah. Game interacting. She'd never spoken to him wild. It is wild. And so that's and I've never done performance capture before this is my first time doing I've done booth voiceover forever. So right. So how much how much actual because the game is mostly in first person. They're cut scenes freelancer. But how much actual performance country? You have to do. I was there for all of them. Oh, that's what's interesting is like I I was kind of a camera up. So I mean, that's my that. I had a camera where everyone else's cameras facing their own face. And did facial capture. Mine was facing out at them. Oh, interesting. But I was there on set to to live with them to give them that dialogue. So I mean, if you play as a man, then you have Ray chase who's fantastic kind of dubbing overall where the off the narrator of blood, sweat and pixels. Yes. Indeed. Also, whatever knocked us. Yeah. That well, that's what everybody knows them from now. Yeah. Right. Yeah. So you can listen to the audiobook buds pixels in you'd have the same experience. Care if your story. Yeah. It's like it's like dark side of the moon and wizard about. Yeah. So does that mean that he had to do all the same scenes that you did he dubbed over them? Well, but for the motion capture part will. So there's not I mean knows my data. So you're the default players. Never say that. Curious about also, and we can get more to the mock-ups 'cause carries with it. But some that I keep wondering about is like so you have been doing all these different voices. And as an actor. It's such an interesting challenge to play a player because you Nate. You're just a freelance right in. You're supposed to be capturing what the player is saying. It's thinking is something that you have in mind that you want to be as generic as possible to appeal to as many different players or do you think? Like, okay. This is character of the person with her own personality. It's gotta be it's like a little bit of both like I mean, if you're too generic no one connects to that known connects to something fake and scrubbed entirely clean, something that isn't real. And specific enough. Just doesn't is. It doesn't become a meaningful vector for connection like it just bounce off of it. So you have to be making specific decisions that you believe in that feel that feel true to you. So that because people connect to other real people. So, but you also I mean, like, it's it's funny. We were joking about whether I could kind of pop into matches and then in create all this distance or here. Right. You know, like what's happening? Shit talking to you. But you would never know. Get good at the game. I can't have people recognize that it's me and be really bad. And then like have them like spread my handle across the internet. Yes, we gotta brianna level. But you'd never actually make that mistake because I'm very silly goofy person very colorful human being so freelancer is a little stuffy, right? So she's a little more like to business. She's a little more capable sounding. She's you know, she's got a sort of stronger kind of base under her..

So so far is like four or five different enemy things came out from that Netflix is buying the rights to neon genus, Yvonne Gillian, and you know, if you're a classic enemy fan like me, you know, back in ninety five this came on Japan. I think we got it back in maybe like ninety eight two thousand and it's about the the military group nerve and this Neo Tokyo Japan this Tokyo, three Japan, where these alien beings called angels appear on earth and try and destroy the city and nerve they wanna building these Biomedica machines or robots and air, cau- evils and only certain select people can pilot them's people with special mental fortitude. Check that after you never have also Neff IX announced that they're going to do a cowboy bebop live action. We're talking about ten episodes with the regional creators kind of consulting. It's going to be from tomorrow studios engine Shiro Watanabe, you know, he's gonna he's going to be I hope really keep an eye on in and just doesn't let them do whatever they want. That's basically what I want. And I hope they don't just just take this in turn into crap. I really hope they don't, you know, cowboy be. Up on the best known space action anime 's known to man, I it a lot of people have been trying to make a live action a cowboy bebop, and it's never been done. And I don't understand. Why really everybody says it's really hard but did goes into shale. And I didn't really have probably goes into shale. I thought it was okay. I could see a sequel of that happening, really. But for them not to Kabyle bebop, and we have all these space shows and movies. You know, whether it was Star Trek with Star Wars. You got all these other platforms space shows, but you can't get a cab would be while in his cab is not that much different from any of these other space shows except for the story. That's it. You got people with guns. You got people that can fight you got spaceships, and you got planets and earth. I mean what else what else can you? What's the problem? You know, people have been trying to get cowboy bebop make a live action. I have for a long time Roma's where that was going to be plagued by canneries. For the longest I wanted that to happen. And it didn't but alas live action cowboy bebop on their flicks. You know, Netflix is you know, how that that's not was let's not have that happen again guys. Please save everybody. Sometime in a nutshell. That's some of the Netflix stuff. Netflix is really blowing up e careful be careful be careful net. Flicks of my car or be by. They're also coming out with another innovation of ghost. Shale. We're going to do that that whole three d deal that they've been doing lately, you know, if you watch Gaunt's, oh, some other anime save don't CG is three D CG sale shaded stuff. Usually it doesn't go over. Well, we against oh, I really liked it against. Although I believe that's the only one I I've seen lately against over. Really that really. I really like that. I didn't mind that's that CG at all for that. Sometimes that CG is just horrible. And sometimes it's not some people can pull it off the blending of it. You know, when they have to d and a half a regular CG that shell shade. Some people can pull it off some people can't I liked it enhanced and I'm not going to be opposed to with this. New Ghosn shale is coming out so bringing on athletes. Netflix is really swinging that bat for twenty nineteen a really trying to get to jump on the industry taking no prisoners. They spent that much money Tom Brady when it comes down to this. That's fun. Tom Brady had four games. He got suspended Tom Brady still the cat's ass as far as the legendary quarterbacks concern he still the biggest quarterback to ever play the game. I know people could argue it, and I know that he's a polarizing figure because of what he does. But that's a polarizing team. And that's still on the field. This is disgusting. This is off the field. This is something they didn't want the NFL. And I'm sure they could find a way to to show you the numbers and show you the dollars and cents. I'd be willing to bet the NFL made money on deflate gate. The status is bigger. You're going after one of the biggest teams out there. We all got upset and saying this is a black eye. This is nasty towards the NFL. One of your great teams in the NFL gets caught cheating, again, all this that and the other we talked about that for so long. We didn't talk about any of the other things any of the other off-field nastiness. We didn't talk about drugs. We didn't talk about domestic violence. We didn't talk about other arrests. We didn't really speak about those things. We spoke about Tom Brady. Bill Belichick, Robert Kraft. Deflate gate hate into Dell. It was all part of the theater, it's part of the theater of professional sports. This this is ugly. They didn't want you to see this eight five five two one two four CBS. Let me try to get to one more. You too. Ma let's get the Theodore in Baltimore. You're next up on CBS sports radio head Theodore he's not gonna play the rest of this year, and he's probably gonna play Nakir. But I appreciate the fact that he had what appeared to be true remorse. Now a lot of the stuff. Like this went on before the advent of a lot of video. We had a great baseball player in Baltimore. Albert bell. He had a few problems like that. But knows my Theodore Bill is my favorite player growing up. And I remember the time Ray chase down the kids who were throwing exit us. We all I know about it has also I was in the barber shop in nineteen ninety eight guys came in and worked in a place. They told everybody that Cal Ripken edifice qualification with his wife got about beat down in a restaurant where they served, but because there's no video and he's a favorite if the police got cold, they covered it up. So it happens before video. But now with the advent of video it should be. I mean, you know, look at the strength of a man to a woman now, I will admit in Tom's a passion. Yes. Like, you stated that you were assaulted by young lady, and you had the wherewithal God gave you the wherewithal walkaway. I heard that the other night, and you to be commended for that. But sometimes other situations it just it it. It's so hard. Stop yourself from doing something when you're not thinking it's a social situation, but he's gonna pay down the road. He does get a nother opportunity. You can you can come back from this. Theodore in Theodore, I gotta run because I got to get to the week thirteen around the league. But thank you very much for the call. Listen, you can get a second chance. He he did seem. I watched that. I watched that interview today, he seemed like he feels really bad for you. He does seem like he's contrite. You can have a second chance in life. Now, the NFL is a privilege. You can have a second chance to get a job. You can have a second chance to be a citizen in the United States NBA, contributing member of society, but the NFL is in a business of theater just like I talked about and they're about guys who make their business. Look good on the field. And they take care of their business off the field in terms of not not embarrassing them in that sense. And this is going to be ugly again because this is the second time we've seen this use you cried so much. I'm talking to the NFL here. You cried you begged for forgiveness and people forgave them. People forgave them. The women came back and watched the fans came back and watch they went through the entire anthem saga. They came back and watch their watching droves is one of the best seasons. Authencity we have ever seen. And then you have this system that picks up here now because it happens in in season may. Maybe it goes away a little bit have to net, but he will pay a price dearly for this. Because people went after the Redskins for the Reuben foster scenario than Doug Williams came off like a brutal asks his explanation of everything. And then you have this situation turnover for you people are going to start talking about you again, you can get a second chance, but the NFL depending on how this plays out. He could be black balled. I do think that he'll serve a very long suspension, and he'll be given a second chance. But I think he's going to have to pay dearly because they need to make an example. And he's going to be the guy they make an example of eight five five two one two four CBS. We gotta go quick. Let's do it Hickey baby. It's time for week thirteen. Baby. Let's go ravens twenty six falcons sixty Lamar Jackson leads the three straight victories. You're saying Joe I wanted to go back to the old standard of Joe flacco. But Lamar Jackson getting the job done. What else am I supposed to say? He's gone up against the defenses that aren't too overwhelmingly great,.

Go ahead Mariela. Thanks. Yeah. Hey. You know, the NFL is, you know, make this. Ridiculous money. And you know, they they they know that if film videos out there of this event, and I'm just wondering, you know, with the behaviors that the female displayed. You think that? Now, this is crazy. But do you think that they wanted to give him a break? With her behavior. And and then you can get out even though TMC breaks that is all the time. Well, there's people who because you can't hear exactly what she said. And there's people who are eyewitnesses saying that she was yelling the N word, and listen, you can't I can't defend that it's disgusting. But he's the one who has something to lose. She doesn't. I don't know her name Maryann. I'll never I'll probably won't ornate. I know who Kareem hunt is that. That's the thing. I know it's easy to say. Well, can you're angry. You can't always think in these situations. You've had a couple of drinks. Yeah. And if I were to do the same thing, then holy hell is gonna come after me too. That's why we call mistakes, and you can eventually at some point get over mistakes, but you can pay for mistakes dearly. And he's gonna pay for this mistake. Yearly Marielle on a female. Obviously. I. No. You never hit a woman what I'm saying is at its it's still a all boys network. And maybe they're they're stings. This woman. Him into doing something. And it's never right. Did a woman, but maybe they were trying to catch a break and realizing this is one of the best bring back in the NFL, and we don't want to destroy his career ender sprayer, which very well. It happened. I think that I don't know if it's an and thank you for the call. I don't think they're trying to cut him some sort of a break or anything. I do think it's the latter there. I think that this is a guy who is again, a preeminent player a one that a lot of a lot of fans like 'cause he's huge in fantasy football. He's huge for them. He's huge for ratings. He's huge because he's on a team that a lot of people like because he plays with Patrick Mahomes. They run up a lot of offense. There's so many things that they like about him. And he's good for business domestic violence or hitting a woman. In a public setting his bad for business. And I think it's this is disgusting. But it's as simple as that. "Why are you making a face Ruppi, right? She says it could. She says, it's so good, but now my expectations are so high if it's not good, I'm gonna think you are wrong. You are such a whiner. I'm not saying I don't like to anything going in fresh. I'll tell you while why? Nate is in such a Pissy mood while we were all out enjoying. Fabulous, fabulous time off. He had to move. He had to move from New York City to Connecticut, and that's all he did for fence it. That's why you're miserable. I'm scary was in Hawaii, SAM's your everybody. Did something more fun than me. Everybody you should have moved. You should move during a vacation, no choice, but that's yes, you could have lease ended and this. I know, I know. But yeah, it was just nobody likes moving, especially when it's on time off when everybody else is doing something fun. So maybe I'm a little miserable. Sorry. Sorry about the arc thing. Yeah, just be nice. Take a vacation when you have a vacation trying. What scared it sounds like Nate had no choice in the matter, but to move door. Yeah, because someone's whip. Not whipped. All right anyway. So I don't know what day it is. That's where I was going with that. We have. We're going to cover our vacation talk. What did you do? Brody. Did you do anything? I was feeling really bad about my vacation till I was reminded about what Nate didn't do. I was at least at home sitting in my pool, spent time with the family that him go. And then I texted Nate because he's moving. You. It's funny, everyone's asking, hey, Nate. How has your move? What do you think is gonna say it was great moving is the best. I've never heard one person say they actually enjoy the nobody ever has a good move unless you're rich and loves to move no way. She probably doesn't. She doesn't even have furniture. I'll say moving great if you don't have anything to move and you just move into an empty place. That's awesome. Scary could never take vacation during moving time because he wouldn't have anything to Instagram anyway. So you're, it's, you enjoy moving actually do because I get to throw out all of my stuff and start new. Yeah, there's there's a lot of room for cleansing and I also only have enough stuff to fill one box. So to be fair, you're rich, still young, and you know, trying to get it together, she moves because she has to hashtag eventually. I'm November first. So. What if I could, I would just burn everything to start over at the new place because it's sandy. That's why names in Abed art then full of your bad mood? Nate because get to a new place like, hell. Do you know how many people would love to get to do that? It's fully speaking on their behalf. I listen, I, it's it's what hold on. He's whipped. All right. It was exactly my choice to move up there. Of course. But I'm finding nicer things about the place and the the, the state. No, it's a beautiful play. It's great. We're talking about moving, doesn't matter few move to the guard. It's not a fun thing in wanna have to move anyway. Scary. Yes, scary. Actually, I would boomerang the moving truck coming and going coming and going coming. I would find something to socially post because you challenge. All right. All right. Let's get into feel good with Samantha. Oh rice. I've decided that me as a human race probably don't deserve dogs. They're just way too. I know on Maxine today. So I saw this story yesterday and I absolutely had to feature it. So an eleven year old girl was walking her dog Ray in Pasadena yesterday morning when a gentleman in a car pulled up, got out, grabbed her by the shirt and tried to pull her into his car. So her dog Ray who happens to be only fifteen pounds. He's a beagle mix. Recognized his human was struggling and decided to take action. He bit that of doctor in the CAF which was just enough to help her get loose, and she ended up running home and of course Ray chased her. So thanks to that tiny little dog. This girl is she's fine. She was physically unharmed. She's home with their family. And Ray is a frigging hero though. Thank you to Ray. They're looking for the abductors right now. And if you have someone in your town, whose amazing whether be a human or otherwise, you can Email me Sam, Elvis, Duran dot com..
