"I don't like to see that depicted so he did go to school. He did want to become an x ray tech and he did get a job as an x ray tech out of chicago hospital already so so far. It's okay all right. You had a moment the shawn hunter moment. That's okay. we've all had had that moment and he's okay. He's turned out fine. So in nineteen sixty four. He met nancy. Joe lynch gm. Joe i feel pretty lady. She's just like hello john. It's like the sixties sixty so. She probably had really cool hair. Great glasses about yon cool mak- yes she probably had hide boots on. You know a thing in a short skirt. Oh no but they got married in nineteen sixty four. She was pregnant with their first child very quickly. They actually before they got married so they got married while she was pregnant. Okay and which is which is fine. I said it like they got married when she was and he was born. The oldest one was born. John junior in nineteen sixty five Later they did have a daughter kimberly and fraternal twins named christopher and christine and nineteen seventy-one. Cute adorable in and we love a fraternal twin. Just so we do in one thousand nine hundred sixty nine not long. After you know baby came in marriage. He was arrested for stealing from his employer. So you don't wanna do that. He was on his way to like. Okay nece yeah. We're we're going to be a dad. We're going to be an x ray tech. Everything's gonna be okay. Got this and then he just slipped right back into that. I need easy money. He doesn't want to work for it. Pay kids subtle. Fuck you right up. If you need some money yeah exactly. So he so. He stole from his employer. His employer ended up finding out and he just begged them not to charge him and he promised to pay back the money. He stole And they agreed. Wow so now. He's seeing that not only can make money doing shady shit very quick but now he can charm his way. Mussa's charisma to get out of things. Even when he's been caught red-handed that'll set a precedent. It's a bad thing. So he got another hospital job It's amazing how many jobs this man got with literally zero credentials. Dirtyjohn in truly is truly. His name is john. Yeah he's a he's an he's the original photo dirtyjohn here g dirt so he got another hospital job. This time doing pediatric xrays at children's mercy. "Of Hampton. Roads, Perspectives. It's a weekly nonprofit show where we highlight different on profits in the area. I guess I should say Community Affairs program and someone I've had in the studio before multiple times. I'm very excited to have again with me is Josh Banks, You may know him as the CEO and founder of Flex for Change. Hi, Josh. Hello, man. It's good to be back is always just feels like home now. Almost. You're looking good. Last time I saw Josh. He was starting some sort of like workout program than 30 days. And he's all like buff and has the six pack. I'm like. Show me your wait. Show me your ways, but nice to see you. So tell the people first off if they don't know what it's flex for change. And how did that start? What's the mission and it got you flex for changes? Uh, many of things in the sense we do a lot of different things in the community, just finding the need in the community s O. We were coming off our kids bash event. We are the nation's largest kids Fitness event. We do a lot of different events. Um, uh, helping a community whether it's the homeless or autism. Just find the different ways where we can make an impact in a positive way. I always tell people I'm super impressed by you because you're just someone that I haven't known very long. But just when you want to do something You have this idea you started and it just gets rolling before you know it, And then all of a sudden, you've got this big thing and it's just You're just such a inspiration, really, with all that you do in the area, and it's just really cool to see what you're doing. Tell me a little bit about yourself. Give me some background. You know your businesses. Last time we met, We talked a little bit about voices of Virginia. I don't know how that worked out. Let's talk a bit about all that awesome. So to give you the short because I could go on and on about the different titles and things like that, But, um, that's right. So background for me. I'm a full time X ray Tech, also the owner of the nonprofit Flex for Change and through Way of Voices of Virginia, which I will talk about here in a second. Also a personal trainer. You mentioned how I kind of put on some weight and lost some. That's kind of what I do as it like a marketing technique around the first of the year, So get more people in a way we can do I can do. It s O to mention a full time Dad. Full time day, full time boyfriend as well. This is crazy. Forget that It was a lot of different things I do in a lot of different ways. I'm being pulled, But, um, and everything that I do. I Thoroughly enjoy everything. So it's just It's a beautiful thing, um, to answer the question about the voices of jeans. Last time we talked, it was me getting prepared to do I know the panel, serious talking about the injustices and different things going on in our communities, A Sephora's equality and things that nature it was amazing. It was a great turnout we had We shot the whole serious that the Cider Stater in Virginia Beach. Um, the reception of it was shocking and surprising. Got tons of use tons of viewership and support over time. We're looking toe make our second installment here. Um, within the maybe the next few months, I would say, Um, uh, created some relationships with, uh, politicians. Me and the Mayor Virginia Beach really close now doing just Robin. You know, it's a beautiful thing. And like you said, you know, any time I Because I've never done something like that before. But any time I've become fixated on something and passionate enough, it just becomes a bigger thing. And I mean, so, um, Now I just received an email maybe last week from someone who, uh, saw the voices of Virginia serious episodes and he's in L. A. He's aspiring actor, and he's a partner with a filming company s O. He reached out to them, he said, Hey, I think this would be great to be streamed on the Netflix or something or something like that. So it's It's in some, you know, uh, early developments, development stages and kind of figure in the figures and what will work best. So it's just It's just this is good talk. It's great. It's great talking. That was the main focus of the voices of Virginia just talking about these things. Tough topics to be able to, of course, uh, make it out to you know our communities and have people here. See here. It But also go abroad because a lot of these topics are things there aren't just generalized to hear. It's everywhere that people are chanting these things, so I watched. It's awesome. It was incredible. I think it was need to see some of my friends up there. You know, Julian and Gosh, the news growing Kristen Crowley Sinner drawn a blank. I know she is. But it's just It was interesting to hear people that, you know, stepping up and talking about. It was just it was much needed. You did a great job, you know, putting that all together? I think definitely appreciate that. Sometimes we watched the episode like I'm so proud. So you know what? I'm the type of person when I accomplish something, all right? I just kind of Watch it one time and I move on to the next day. Yeah, I'm like, Okay, So I've seen you teasing this on Facebook. I know you've got a lot of friends listening right now. Because you have not at least from what I understood. You have not mention this on Facebook right now. Yet I have not noticed. You've got a new business venture that you're working on that You are very excited about very excited. I'm going to go ahead and confess that I already know And I'm so excited that you know that you kind of fill me in on this. But let's tell everybody with this new business venture is we're so very happy for you. What's going on? All right. So as I mentioned Brief bio about me. Um, eyes mentioned that I'm X ray Tech. So I've been actually check for eight years. Now. Love work in the medical field loved and erections I have for my patients, things that nature s O. A friend of mine's, um, I want to say about three months ago he reached out to me and let me know we actually went to school together. Um, same radiology program. So on so forth, but he reached out to me and he let me know he was like, Hey, man. I just started the mobile X ray company and Ghana, Africa. He was, like, you know, I'm actually starting one here and I got the balls rolling on on and I would love to sit down and talk to you. Maybe get some information and see how maybe you could potentially help. Whatever. So I'm like, Of course, you know, I'm always here to help. That's my thing. So we sat down, had a business meeting and little did I know he really wanted me to come on board fully. So now We talked about it. And, you know, I went over. You know where I met with things in life, But I am officially the co owner of Ross Diagnostic. Um, Mobile and Imaging and self..

"Zero nine six five let's go we jump hello Joe I got a great hack Fauria xrays I'm an X. ray techs xrays don't go through denim very well so if you're going on a cruise and you want to hide some bottled in your luggage get a nice thick pair jeans put those bottle right in the legs they'll never pick them up well I'd go legal travel first of all I love that that we are getting the inside info from a guy who work if you are giving away your secrets it is one of my favorite and I tell a lot of my patients if you're going on a cruise that's the thing to do why pay for when you can bring it wait a minute so you're a tack not for like I am not for like airports and security but like doctor's office I work in the urgent care got it got it I thought you like we're giving us the end your week I called a couple weeks bass right all right it's all coming back to me what this is good you know I'm actually going on a cruise for the new year so you have some other stuff shows but I was trying to I like how my gonna get all the all the good stuff all the good wine there's another strategy the one you probably could have a lot of people use water bottles that they're gonna bring like a clear yeah like a vodka or something that's I've seen people do that they literally re tape the water bottle like eighteen pack and then they cover it with something so you can't say it's a yeah that's crazy that's crazy what Joe that's a great hack thank you for that hack the really good are quite welcome all right have a good night Jo Jo working on the inside I love I love a good insider half an amicable crews huge cruise first of all yeah that's all we used to go on vacation for we never really did that because I was so young so it wasn't really something I what's your crease of choice row Caribbean yeah how do you do anything else when you were younger would you cruise on Disney for shows it was Disney in his name we went Campbell on this now she'll I was it three but yeah but knows Disney than a region and then the region within like are you kidding me that's how my parents want me they were on a cruise ship other reason now they're on a side of crews and they were gambling and I was three yeah and my family back me they lost in my new family pick me up it gets crazy on those who does it does broker is awesome yeah so that's what we're we're going on royal Caribbean coming up we used to do carnival but then we like Saul used condoms on the floor as the DOJ occurs yeah if you want to save some Bucks and just have fun so yeah yeah yeah yeah so that's the here's one some people do this and I'm telling you not to don't sleep naked in hotel rooms for many reasons I know where you're at your head's going to like you know want to wake up and have to like go to the doctor it's yellow yeah right now it is discussed things they should do that you know your junk might be touching something unclean gas those reasons but here's a reason you wouldn't expect you ready for this what do you think what do you think it is I'm I'm more ready I don't know I have no if the fire alarm goes off in the middle of the night your evacuation might get awkward yeah yeah that's a one in a million if there's like a real fire like a dorm fire again and in the middle of the night you know what I have to like and I got to get ready yeah I just want to go out yeah he can't do that Hey we've got an open Mike here I haven't screened it yet we want to take it you would take a listen if you guys have any others eight four four two two zero zero nine six five here's one I always travel with a passport my carry on it's my actual passport it's all my carry on at all times in case I lose my luggage it's good to have it but also you carry your ID on you but just in case you pack away one of the two so it's just an extra way to get through security in case you lose your wallet which would be terrible but if anything happens to my license I have ID the cruiser in the cruise you're gonna need it but but I don't know right now all right yeah you need that you need your a birth certificate I not only adds by the way not only for airports but just anywhere that requires ID it's good to have like extra I tried to here's here's another portable Chargers even just your regular charger many people forget that don't forget that all right what was this open Mike must have on an airplane as a pillow yeah I need to do for me being tall and it's a pretty sure you're tell you're just the same high is not like five twelve yeah yeah so Dan dexter legroom nowadays is important to a lot of the planes are starting to make it used to be just like the first five rows they're starting to push all the way back to like the first twenty so that's been we got to pay for it you do but it's better than nothing good depends on the flight I guess if you're going for like more than five hours or so you probably should get it here's another one if you have any sort of the true and it it's got to be true I want to give you this don't be lie in all right but if you have anxiety you can actually bored with disability but if you truly have it don't use that because everybody uses that is going to defeat the purpose the entire plane is going to be porting their yes ability yeah yeah I was just going to be the same exact thing so don't be that guy you know who who does that you would only do that if you were here at deuce John quickly show now the three things you need to three they don't county correctional officer was arrested in Casselberry on Sunday accused I know there's a shortage of doctors the medical community I'm a nurses technicians you name but X. ray techs all all of that is in short supply. but medical doctors it takes longer for somebody to become a medical doctor and they are going well we're we're running a little short here. you want tight jobs because the jobs data. there I I'd heard one report earlier today and I think it was probably the the best way to say it there's something in this job report for everyone. the the economy added one hundred and thirty thousand payrolls in the month of August. oops that was thirty thousand less than expected. end they went back to June and July and they revise those numbers down by a combined twenty thousand. so you go okay so did not turn out to be as strong as people were thinking now remember I told you before about there's the household survey. and the economic survey which is the one they send out they basically get the information from the payroll reports that lawyers put out and the other one is they literally call people. at Aston Mar you working and that the household survey and that determines the unemployment rate the unemployment rate remained unchanged at three point seven percent. the household survey this is what's getting to be kind of interest. is that the household survey showed five hundred and seventy one thousand. new jobs in the month of August a huge increase compared to the overall unemployment report. so that's. what does that say. what I think what what it says is. they go out as big businesses are you hiring right now a lot of Amer not. but there's a lot of small businesses that are and more importantly there's a lot of people who with the economy they're feeling better there feeling pretty good this is when people go out and say I'm going to start my own business. well if you start your own business. you probably aren't taken a pay roll. right out of the gate most small businesses start off with nope you just take money out of savings to to basically put food on the table. so they don't show up on any they don't show up on the official form for the household survey will

So he's going to jail. He shouldn't have brought them home in the first place. But it does raise this question of, you know, well, what happens to data? That's you know, exfiltrated Kaspersky servers. I think you gene, Kaspersky is a great guy. I don't think he is a tool of the Russian secret services on the other hand, I don't use Kosinski. "Just a bit. We're going to get the story about how cheating infidelity is the legal in seven states. Don't worry. We're not one of them. You can still have an affair here. If that's your thing. But that's going to be coming up. Also wanna remind you that coming up after nine thirty. We've got three four packs of tickets to the Sacramento auto Rama running February fifteenth seventeenth at Cal expo. It's coming up this weekend. So coming up after nine thirty we're gonna play trivia game. And if you answered it really simple rules here he answered the question correctly a win. You don't you? Don't you get nothing and like it, and we'll do that. And we want to give these away the only caveat is that you do have to be able to come down to the radio. Jio station and pick them up. Before Friday at five o'clock before close of business on Friday. I'm sure so we'll do that. That's coming up after nine thirty right now Sacramento police say they've received five additional reports bringing a total of eight incidents which extend from November up until this past Sunday of a man seen in a white sedan. So same guy exposing himself to women and caught plays uring himself inside his car. And the reason I bring this up isn't because to be gross or anything like that. But. Like, I said before the break, I mentioned this to my wife, and she said, yeah. You know, what's happened to be five or six times my daughter who's only eighteen has had this happen to her. So apparently, if you're a woman in this country, it is not at all unusual. Maybe it hasn't happened to you. But it is not at all unusual for a man to expose himself to you just out on the street. Driving around whatever the case may be. Some freak wants to get jollies decides to do that. And it doesn't make any sense to me. But apparently people do this apparently a happens. So I wanna know if anybody has ever exposed themselves to you, especially if you're a woman and up because I just want to hear dirty stories from women, but because it freaks me out a little bit in all honesty is the father of a daughter and a husband. It freaks me out a little bit that guys do this guy still do it on a regular basis. It's a mindset that I do not understand. But apparently it happens with alarming regularity to well. All the women. I spoke to. And. Kind of a cavalier attitude. The people seem to have about nine one six nine two hundred fifteen thirty or toll free eight hundred eight three four fifteen thirty house and McDermott. Hey, how you're on NewsRadio KFC PK with Casey. Pretty good. Yeah. In that area. And I I'm a truck driver truck driver. Looking down and everybody's car. Shows. I know girls who have flashed truck drivers because they say, it's fun. I don't get the appeal, but they say, it's fun. Well, and I had of woodland. There. I got middle summer's windows up. I heard the screen. I look over. I'm getting flashed sure there's a cop sitting there on his shoulder. The road chicken. Got a nice little of YouTube. He say now did the cop stop and given a ticket and go get the woman. No, no, whatever works. See women get away with everything to that's not fair. It's one thing if you're doing it Goodall. Yeah. But don't do freaking child. Well, no, I, and I just really, you know, truckers. That's I don't know. That's a whole different beast. But yeah, absolutely. Don't do it to a child. But it seems to me that it happens. I knew it happened to truck drivers. Because like I said I've been talking about this for years and years I've seen it before. And all truck drivers have. In fact, it's almost worth being a truck driver because the apparently the regularity with with with with that sort of thing happens women flashing you all over the place. The Hong horn when that happens. Do you just or hey, thanks. Yeah. I mean, I've been driving for over thirty years. I had my shirt shows. Well, good for you. All right. How thanks. I knew about that. I didn't think about that. As a big thing. But like I said, I've been in radio talk show host for a long long time now, and I've talked about these things before and truck drivers, I don't know if it's any kind of law, but my father-in-law was a truck driver for a brief period of time and the job he said, the job just sucks because you're driving across country. You're alone. People driving around you usually idiots. You know, whether can happen ice can happen curves. In the road. If you're going to a number of things can happen. And then you gotta give if you're dropping something off you have to find something to pick up to come back home. And it's just a miserable job to have. I mean it works for some people. But for him it was a miserable job. And he said, but you know, there are perks. And I said what? And he told me, and I said, yeah, I've heard that before and it's sad. But I I also know women who have done that. And for whatever reason, it doesn't seem to me where women to a grown, man. But it does want a man doesn't. Maybe he's gonna pig. Let's go to Laurie and Lincoln, Laura, you're on NewsRadio KF became with Casey. Hi, casey. How are you tonight? Doing good. Thanks. So. Heard this topic. It quite frankly, I didn't think it was a big deal. This happened to me twice. I grew up in the bay area. So I was about I don't know seven eight or nine, and I was living in San Francisco. Yeah. Man pulled over something. If we wanted candy or something or cheese. You know? I mean, we're seeing Francisco kids this is not. Drilled on that. Little closer. And he had no fans on. Yeah. I mean whether possible excuse for the hot day or. Okay. Yeah. I know I've watched that. What's the coldest winter ever spent was the summer in San Francisco? Yeah. Yeah. Talking maybe nine hundred seventy nine hundred seventy two. And then the second time it happened. I was trying to figure it out between my freshman and sophomore year, so nineteen seventy seven. Okay. And again, I was with a couple of girlfriends walking through high school during the summer to go teach swimming lessons, we see this man watch for us and like jogging shorts and you walked by. He just kinda flips things short. Hello. Walk each other. It's like. Did he stop or did you just keep walking? You know, he kept walking. Is there a culture somewhere that I'm not aware of where that's not so much an insult. But a polite greeting. Not not that I'm aware. Much about you know, I've only left the country a couple of times, and I've not seen it. So now, my parents, actually, I told my mother about a kind of just like you'll never believe this. Yeah. And she called the police and the police came to the house they'll you have to Belmont. Yeah. In belmont. But it does all that. Who knows whatever happened? Oh, I'm sure he's been incarcerated somewhere. For. There you go. See that's what you get. It's like, you know, some women get offended, but then it happens with such regularity. That's just kind of you know. Maybe you know, you had another caller who used to work the prison system. Yeah. I work in a county hospital as an x Ray tech not much scares me. As an x Ray tech. Yeah. What do you see as next role? I guess you get. Oh, you get praised. Okay. Krizner you go get drunk motor vehicle accident. Very very nasty. People know if you let it scare you you got to go find something else. I think for us broad. We dig it. See you sound like a broad to. I don't even mean to have mental. That's just. Laurie. For called NewsRadio KFB K C. That's the cavalier attitude. That's what I don't get. Yeah. Putting the Barada broadcasting. Thank you for that. One kendall. Let's go to Marty. Another truck driver. Hey Marty right another. Yeah. Okay. I I run between Sacramento and Chico every night. And there's this guy around euless city every time I'm heading north not every time, but many happened four times now going through Yuba city, and he gets along side of me. Windows. They're all up and interior lights on sunroof is up. And he's completely naked and masturbating will sit right next to my truck until I get to the north end of you city where there's not two lane side by side. Now, have you ever call the cops? Yeah. I talked to the city got they haven't seen him. But yeah, I can't get his license plate because he's next to me. Yeah. And he probably slows down when you get to the area where there's only one lane. Well, there's one lady it didn't. That's the last of that. He'll just stay right there from from middle of Yuba city around. Right. The center of town or whatever. All the way to the north end where ends into one single lane. See that's not fair that you can't not. And now that's there. No matter. What you do? I mean he'll drive away. But the nightmares will still come right? Yeah. The thing is it's not it's not all about women. Apparently, it's just anybody. I think these guys are just doing this for this real of getting away with something. I guess I don't know. That's the windows open. Can you throw something at him? I guess you wouldn't want him to crash. All right. We'll good for you Martin. I'm sorry for that. News radio. Okay. Really nothing. You can do about that. I wouldn't even know now what they're coming up trivia for prizes. That's next on Casey Bartholomew sitting in for Pat Walsh eighties trivia, just so you know, it is now nine thirty at News Radio. "Steve Holland dot com. Says Steve is it also possible to attack the supply side of the equation? Right. Absolutely. So let's talk about that continuing to work and draw a paycheck. You know, this is really important because many times people, you know, they go into retirement, and I see them return to the workforce, they may return to the work force in a different capacity. They may say, yeah, I I did such and such for twenty five years thirty years. I was a an x Ray tech, for example for twenty five thirty years. I have clients that were physical therapists for twenty thirty years. And if they return to the workforce, I know that they'll probably want to do something entirely different. So if we look at the supply side, we would say all right. So continuing to work and draw a paycheck. That's. Portent? So if you continue to work and earn an income it reduces the reliance on your assets such as your investments to do what they need to do. And that is of course, generate income. So that is something that you might seriously wanna do for another two three years. Maybe want to pick up a part time job for two three years and reduce the amount of income that you need from your portfolio. Now, what would be kind of ideal is you don't need income from your portfolio? We have a market crash or correction, you're safe, and you continue to work for a few years and the market comes back. Now, the one thing I wanna say here is this that when the market loses value when we have a crash or correction don't assume that everything's going to be okay. In two to three years. I've heard many investors come in and say, well, you know, when the market crashes, it's generally back in a year and a half to two years. So. I'll be okay. And those investors have obviously never heard of a sustainable bear market. For example, in two thousand twelve the media was calling the year two thousand through two thousand ten the lost decade. And the reason why they were calling that is they were saying we'll many investors haven't made any money for more than ten years. Imagine that ten years in retirement, you're relying on your portfolio, but your portfolio has suffered badly..
