"Another rough day for Milan in between Champions League matches garb, they lose two near the wear spezia. They are now four points back from the Champions League positions. Really, really bad performance. It changed it around. They tried rabbits up front. But if it changes, right? But you got to make changes, but it's not just a question of expecting more from your bench, but they've played more starters than they normally did when they make changes. And they were poor. They were really, really poor. And spent this goals came late, but they were fully deserved. Jules, identity that game, we saw some remarkable scenes with the entire team, including coach de funnel PL, called over to listen to motivational speech from the ultras. I mean, if you get a chance to look at the photograph of this, it's pretty remarkable. They're all watching as if the guys like some motivational speaker. The following day, delegation of ultras and a bunch of other fans showed up at the training ground. They lit flares, sang songs. I reintegration coming from the club and from those were there that this isn't about threats. This isn't PLD called it a positive interaction. Are you comfortable with this sort of thing? Because there is a nasty history to it in the past. Yeah. And not just in many clubs, which was a big part of an organized fan group, whether it's France, whether it's Spain, but Germany. You should need to put pressure on the coach and the players to do better to do well. In this case, I would think it's like, in this case, literally they said, okay. It's been a really, really, you guys have been rubbish, but we will continue supporting you to our best until the end. Now go and be entering. Exactly. But yeah, with a bit of pressure in it as well. And the pressure they put on themselves. Here's another goal and I'm gonna go crucify you. I'm okay with it because as we always said, fans would always be there, those managers players won't always be at the club. All tries, especially, but fans in general have a big part of football clubs. And I think they have the right to make their voice heard and say what they have to say. But there's a limit, obviously, to it. And I don't think that in this case, the limit was when they went to the training ground they were there for ten minutes. They lit flares. They're saying songs, a bunch of women kids there. So that is okay. When he goes more toxic, then that's what I'm saying. It just looks weird to see it happening at the end of the game. And it's not just them like clapping from. It's like they're right under. Bush adult point beyond Bayern we said that earlier with a 5 two win of a bush and motion glad bar gab they were four 11 a half time. Yeah, look, absolutely fine. I shout out to Sebastian Haller, great. Backyard goal. Donald Marlin is coming good and Kareem Abdul. I'll tell you what, those three guys contributed basically nothing in the first half of the season. Obviously holler was unwell. Neither Marlin or on the game, I think for the first goals until after the World Cup. Can you imagine if all three had been contributing all season long? Doorman would be clear at the top. I'm glad bob, by the way, what? Shocking season. It's a horrendous. No Marcus rasher did not much cutting out your Manchester United, but they do get a chew no win over wolves to stay on track for top four and they can get excited over on a 190. That was the best part of the game. Yeah, he's by one lovely God is caught as well. I mean, thanks for thankfully for him scoring because there was better options probably than the one he took base court, so that's fine. It's good to see him back on the score sheets as well and he's not going to go to the under 20 World Cup in Argentina. We know that because my students didn't want to release him, like many other players, all around the world, which I struggle to understand. But then that competition should be in FIFA in the 5th a day. It's not outside of day, so clubs can still do what they want with their players. But when we will not really remember that game for a very long time, all they care about was the win and that's it. Do you know what Marcus Rashford has scored as many league goals as United's next three top scorers combined? Yeah, I know. Yeah, I know. That depending on him. But for the goal as well. We have an Eden hazard site. He made his first league start in September in Rama who's one year win over heave, state was 60 minutes on the page, something like that. Something like that. I don't think there's anything to say about this game, really they just wear and lose, they didn't care. It was just a question of getting of getting a run out ahead of their Champions League semifinal in the game against city. Leonel Messi made his return for Becky saint Germain in the 5 zero win over a juxta. Unusually partisan man winning at home, which doesn't always happen this time of year. Not as true. He got a bit of a kicking towards the end that led to Ashraf akimi getting sent off, but at least a title moves a step closer, but it was greeted by the half and half he was. Some tourists cheered in the baby. No choice, as we know, because they basically went on strike list put it that way until the end of the season. So he had some people booing and then the other half of the stadium kind of trying to cheer him to cover the booze. It was a bit weird. It didn't seem that bothered. I mean, he doesn't show much emotion anyway in general. So he was not good in the game, Kylian was amazing. Again, two goals. PhD 6 points clear with three games to go, so one more win. And. Go with one of the Azure player who should also have been sent to other it was really weird. The guy was sent off, no? No, not only akimi was sent off. No, I only did the Jackson Gaga sent off too. I don't know if it was in the same sequence. He was the same sequence, but I can be really crossing that, that's France, you know, the refereeing here, not happy, that's the second red, almost back to almost back to back after the suspension. So you're going back to Real Madrid. I don't think it's going anywhere. It took me so four to many Lukaku scores twice. How did they look ahead of Tuesday's Champions League game against Milan? All right. Short answer, not good. They went three zero up. Lukaku scored a great goal. And Lukaku did look good and you want his energy and whatever. That bodes well. The other two goals were deflected. There are three no op. And then oh yeah, obviously it made a bunch of changes or whatever. But it wasn't, you know, you don't look at his four two and say, oh, a commanding performance full of confidence, not that they had a lot of changes. They're focusing on Tuesday. Important thing was get the three points. You can't screw up top four, obviously. And they did that. I don't think lose to already relegated LJ one zero, Jules, I guess they're not that fast about finishing second after all. You were like, oh no, it's so important to finish any route. They don't care. They do. Season's over the show. I could not disagree more. They should have won that game so many chances. It was infuriating, even if I'm not analytical fan. Garbage in gold because you replaced all black who was in there. I mean, it made a terrible mistake on the goal. Even wonder how keeper of that level as in like, you know, who's a number two goalkeeper for club like that can make a mistake similar mistake to that. It was crazy. So no, I think they want to finish out of ra Madrid. I think it's important to them. It was just a game where nothing worked. Defensively, offensively, but they did enough to win. But didn't because of mistakes that they made both defensively and offensively. Which would be important to simply growing as a team. And leveraging the momentum from your last few months into next season. Sign a striker, please, a good score. Nicolas nicolo is caused a beauty as Juventus because two near to stay second gap, at least until we're here, obviously from the judges. They look pretty good as well. They do, they look they look good in that sort of max allegri kind of way that he wants him to look good, right?

"We continue to discuss the spirit of literacy by Joseph Carlos. Last session, we discussed chapter four section two on the reservation, basically a sacrament, the tabernacle. But after we stop the recording, we've been told this is a little story, which I think we should start this session with because many people should hear that. We're talking about people who have been drawn to the church by the process of the eucharist. So tell us that story again. Well, I had been in Catholic churches as I said in the last session and came to understand the tabernacle line and there's someone home, something there that isn't another churches, and one night I was driving home late at night, about 10 o'clock, and I was talking to Jesus in the car about, should I become a Catholic or no? And out of the corner of my eye, I saw a red little light. And I thought that must be from a Catholic Church, though I pulled a U turn, and there was this big modern Catholic Church, not the most attractive thing in the world, but it had these big pain glass windows facing the road, and I could see, oh, sure enough, there's a tabernacle, and the little flame, and I'm going to see if the doors are opened. I went up the doors were opened. I went in, it was complete darkness inside. I knelt, I prayed. And yes, I felt the lord telling me, yes, you become a Catholic, and so on, I got a much consoled, well, years later, I drove down that road at night to see if I could catch a glimpse of this tabernacle night, and you can't see unless you fully look this way. So how that happened is a miracle. And then I met the pastor of that parish who was Paris pastor at that time this happened to me, and I told him this whole story, and he said, that's remarkable that I didn't want the church that night, and that the doors were opened. So another miracle. So I just want to emphasize how important it is that Catholic churches stay true to themselves and keep those tabernacles and keep those tabernacle lights burning where people can find them and see them and be invited to go into prey because changes lives. Amen, praise, God. As they say. All right, chapter 5 sacred time. You should talk here about how liturgy unites history and cosmos and how the church, the liturgy, sanctifies the day, sacrificed a week, sanctifies the year. And I would say in a certain sense makes kronos into kairos, chronic is a Greek word for time, so as kaira, reconnaissance means like two 32 and 12 seconds. Hi rush reads your birthday. They're both decent time, but one of them is just a question of mechanically marking the rotation of the earth or revolutionary on the sun. The other one is marking an event which is a special, significance. All right, page one 26, this is beautiful. I'm going to skip around here, but need lines down, Christ is of self a bridge between time and eternity. And here, but down a couple of lines, the eternal one himself has taken time to himself. In the sun, time that's we're living in, coexists with eternity, and the last paragraph there all time is God's time. That is just in him, whose eternal. On the other hand, as we saw above, the time of the church is a between time between the shadow, which is the Old Testament and the reality, which is catalyzed, which is heaven. We live in the image. And so a special strategy demands a sign. A time specially chosen in designated to draw time as a whole into the hands of God. So that's a beautiful foundation what he's going to say that literature is a way that, you know, in between time, we're drawn into the end time, which is eternity. Can I just say a little something? Go ahead. Because you mentioned the word kronos, which I haven't been thinking about. And there's that expression in Greek about chronos eating his children. Yes. Meaning that we age and we die, you know? But here, chronos feeds his children so that while we age and die, we live forever. I mean, I just never thought of that before until now and I just had to beautiful. Beautiful. Well, then pi watch on the next page, typical rasher. What is time? You know, of course, is discussion well said, if you don't ask me, I understand it, but if you ask me to define it, I can't do it. He's not going to that philosophical reflection in a great death. But if you understand, he says, the first thing to say is at times that cosmopolitan for us. How do we measure time? Well, our submission, what does that mean? Well, ours have to do with how we divide it up the rotation of the earth. Can I make a quibble here though, father? No. No quibbling. Go ahead. Well, I'm mindful about discussions on physics when we work together of immunity last month or 6 weeks ago when I was. Because there's actually his terminology is not as tight as it needs to be here because he talks about the time being a cosmic reality. And then reduces it to the orbiting of the sun by the earth. In other words, time as we experience it terrestrially, not cosmically, right? Because obviously time and the other end of the Milky Way is not measured in that matter. This is the way that we experience it directly for all yes, it is. Oh, yes it is. Only we can measure time universe. No one else in the universe can measure it. We're the ones that measure. And that's why we say, when did the universe begin the Big Bang? 13.4 billion years ago. What does that mean? We mentioned in years. So often this long tag, which will take us off topic. Obviously, but there's a difference between that which is and the measurement of it. And what I'm saying is that the reduced the discussion of time by the sun and the earth and how long it takes the sun and the moon to revolve around the earth, the root of all that the earth and the earth will have in the sun is a terrestrial experience of time. But the thing itself, it transcends the our own solar system system.

"Cups slightly off the ear and we just talk in normal language normally. But when you get as captain Nick just mentioned, once you have the full face mask on, which is I'm sure what they, I think all airplanes now have the full face mask and integrated oxygen mask set up. Yeah, you have to communicate through that microphone in the mask. And it's very confusing. If you're not used to doing it. Yeah, practice makes perfect, so we usually get fairly regular practice in the Sims. If not every other sim, you've got the option mask on for one reason or another. So you do got to get the hang of it. And a lot of guys will just play with it during the flight sometimes. Have a bit of a whiff of oxygen, wake themselves up, perhaps. But more importantly, just to remind themselves how the controls work. Yeah. And the other thing that's, it used to be in the old days, like when I was flying the L ten 11 and 7 27 before the full face mask set up, which is really optimum. If you were in a real smoke and fumes situation. But just if you're just hanging the mask, it's just a matter of just taking it off your head and hanging it up. And it's like very simple. The full face mask setups that we have now, at least the way they are a mirror plane. The box that you have to put it in, you have to be, it's like, I guess the masters of Cuban cigars and rolling cigars really super tight is you have to be have that kind of skill to roll the thing up to make it fit back in that little box. I'm not sure how they did it. No, you don't want to you do not want to pull that thing out unless you absolutely have to. So when we do our oxygen mask tests, we do have a way of determining whether or not that mask, I mean the microphone in the mask is actually working without actually having to pull the thing out, which is. Yeah, we do the same thing. We select it and then do a little puff of oxygen to double check that the pressure oxygen works. And you can also hear it coming through the loudspeakers when you do that. So it tests the microphone as well. Yeah, the only thing that we didn't have all the airplanes that I've flown compared to what you talked about latching it on and latching it off, it was not that kind of a setup. So that's the only difference that I could tell from the flight deck is going to be in the sim this month, including emergency descent. So you'll be able to find out what the a two 20 good for you. So it's going to be so much fun. This one bit of aviation that I don't miss at all. I will not ever miss that either. Okay. Excellent. All right, but I think they did a good job. Fire on an airplane is critical. And they handled it pretty well. And got it on the ground and nobody was well, I guess there were four passengers injured possibly to do to smoke inhalation. I'm guessing. Yeah, I would guess I'd hope they weren't burnt because we haven't actually had that many of laptop fires and battery fires recently touch wood. Because we did have a rasher when lithium ion batteries started to be widely used. I think the construction and the safety features that most electronic devices now have probably improved over the years. So which is great. But yeah, you still get the odd ones. So we still have to be careful out there. Yeah. Yes, we do. All right, moving on to the next item. Another video. This is the narrative here from aviation Herald dot com. A sky west Embraer ER J one 75 on behalf of United registration 6 one 9 uniform x-ray performing flight 53 26 from Burbank, California to San Francisco, California, have been cleared to line up on runway three three, then waited in position for about two minutes. A mesa, airlines, canadair, CRJ 900 on behalf of American Airlines registration 9 54 Lima Romeo performing flight, 5 58 26 from Phoenix to Burbank, California was on final approach to runway three three. When tower advised a departure was in position and would take off before them and instructed them to continue. A private aircraft on approach also to runway three three got too close to the CRJ 900 and was instructed to go around. About two minutes after the one 75 had been cleared to line up on runway three three, tower cleared the aircraft for takeoff and the same sentence cleared the CRJ 900 to land. The CRJ 900, however, initiated a go around and was instructed to turn left the crew reported receiving a tcas RA, the Embraer one 75 was instructed to continue their climb and was later instructed to turn left after the aircraft was clear of the conflict. The Embraer one 75 continued to their destination, the CRJ 900 joined a downwind and landed on my way through three, about 12 minutes after the go around. Okay, so we do have some video as I mentioned, so let me play that. We'll hear the live ATC audio. Vas aviation, once again, for the win, real aviation communications. And by the way, I encourage you, dear listener, to visit on YouTube, the vast aviation YouTube channel. It's awesome. We like them a lot. And a lot of hard work being done over there. "Let's see, but I think PhD were happy if they would find a club for nima. It was, you have the Ukrainian name. In my mind, I got the real one. We have a trade the L shape fournier, which I guess isn't really surprising. God did you learn much? No, and then very little. They're in the Green Bay Area. Yeah, well, by the way, queen Benzema can convert two penalties. Nice to see moderate score. I think this is always going to be a four month conclusion coming after one win this season. Is that right? Tough times for them. It's still a long slog back up the table for lali for ram Madrid. Got many people excited. Aw man. With an Instagram post referencing mantis united, including Marcus rasher apparently. Joe, what was he trying to say or was he even trying to see? Basically he put a post on Instagram after the game. Saying that everything is still possible in the PhD Bayern Munich die, and then the colors of PhD. And then next thing I know, this is in French. Next thing I know, someone pretends that if you translate that post, he mentions much to united in the post, which he never did in the first place. So we're like someone must have photoshopped something and then he always went viral. Somebody hit the translate button. And then doctor. I did Manchester United. Didn't they have a much the United States? So it felt like everything is possible. I could be joining the united or the qataris could go and buy my show united or whatever. And then machine learning fund got carried where everybody was like, what? What's going on here? Unless there's something else I missed, I just wish I don't think. This is not a killing would not do that. An early Milan goal gives them a one year win over Tottenham gab the three man backline is working. Yeah, well, it worked against spurs. I think things were easier for me than because obviously without early without Benton corps and hoy beard, it's a different condom team. I think son is still, you know, we kind of saw bad song again. He still has to find his mojo and he was all left to, Harry Kane, to go and do something. They had other chances to score more later on. You certainly don't go and celebrate now if you meet on especially because going forward, I thought they were actually not good at all, despite the chances that they created on the break because some of the spikes from Rafael was amazing. I think he was most successful dribble in Japanese history or something like that. He's a one man highlight reel. Sure as well. Very good for mature at the back. Joe was tremendous. I wonder what happens when Tamara comes back and stuff? Does he get back into the team even with a back three? For spurs, I thought this was disappointing. In terms of clear cut chances, very, very few. And you can't all be on the two central midfielders. Ultimately, they weren't terrible. Sorry, by the way, absolutely leathers the ball when he shoots it. Yeah, 20 years of age. Let's not forget. Something to look forward to. Scott Parker and mister champion. They're not enough for Bruges who fall two nail at home to Benfica. George, they paid a dear price for some individual mistakes. Otherwise, this game's a draw, right? No, I don't think so. I still think Benfica would better team by far and they created enough chances, even without this stupid penalty that Bush gave away. And those kind of mistakes on the second goal as well, the way they lost the ball and davine scored, even before that, I think there was enough for Benfica who have way superior. I mean, Scott Parker's taking over is catastrophic and the team has got the traffic. And the far away from the form that saw them qualifying, beating portal away, foreign air, for example, in the group stages. It's not that team again. They lost the off confidence. Is he still wearing the weird cardigan? Yeah, well, yeah. It was a similar kind of style that he had. Maybe she start winning games. Maybe he and Julian Agos went to go shopping together. It was pretty like, you know, kind of loud Donna, I thought in Paris the other day.

"Especially. But here's a voyeur says never and nowhere before that that is before the 60th session, which is Luther's reformation. Have we indication that any importance or even attention was given to the weather the priest celebrated with the people for him or behind him. As professor shill Vogel has recently done it, so that's another literature of the 20th century. She's very important person. The only thing ever sister upon, or even mention, was an issue to say the prayer as all the other person facing each. So one of the things that people are not that was insignificant. The point was, when he prayed, he faced east. Even when the orientation of the church enabled the silver to pray, turned toward the people when at the altar, we must not forget that it was not the priest alone who then turned east. It was the whole congregation together with himself. You got St. Peter's Basilica, okay? He's facing west. So there's an altar. And the priest is facing west at the altar, but he faced east for the, for the war that we got everything. But then for the eucharistic sacrifice, he's on the west side of the altar. Facing the people who are in the east side of the nave, but they've got their backs turned toward him because they're facing east also. So this idea that St. Peter's Basilica is the basis for mass versus problem to simply absurd and rashers pointing that out here. Father cut a couple of things if I might. I mean, please, please interrupt. I love interruptions. Well, on page 91, you know, he does this in the same premises here, but first it's popular. I think it's important for people to know this, but the council set the second added council says nothing about turning towards the people. So this isn't something which is the teaching of the second event in the council. This is an innovation in the so called alleged spirit of, which is not the same thing as we've said repeatedly. And then what you said briefly, that this first quote by Lewis, is it puyi, is a pronounced name. Again, this idea of everybody in the last supper in ancient mills will be on the same side of the table and the other side is where the servers were. So there's not even a verse as popular in the idea of the meal. On all counts. We'll return to the form book club with father Joseph asio, Vivian duro, and Joseph pierce in just a moment. "Of one V one intercepts and combat, great fun. The bombing was also fun, since we were ringing the changes a bit, and trying all sorts of deliveries from level lay down attacks at low level to 45° dive bombing, both day and night. I seem to recall that those high level night div attacks provided a moderately high level of adrenaline, but not as much as strafe. I've neglected to mention that the hornets M 61 a one Vulcan cannon could be used for more than just drilling holes in a hessian banner. It could be fired at the ground. Of course there was always a question in my mind as to the wisdom of getting a very expensive fighter aircraft very close to the enemy where you risked being brought down by a kid with four weeks training and a cheap old AK-47, the cost benefits didn't seem to balance, but that wasn't really the point. It wasn't like the a tens mighty can and that reached out over miles and turned people into stone for just glancing at it. The hornet had a capable enough gun, so we needed to learn how to use it. We stray from low angle dives just ten or 15° in the radar gave their range countdown in the gun sight. So we knew when to fire. Like any one who knows how to shoot well, the trick was to get into a groove and fly the aircraft theory smoothly as rough polling sprayed the rounds far and wide. All that was then required was to get into range, far a good burst and recover. This I guess is the time to make a confession. You had to get very close about a thousand feet together meaningful score, and at 400 knots or so the ground came up pretty quick. Once the burst was done, it needed a four or 5G pull to get away and recover from the dive without getting a low height warning from the range safety officer, and even so it was quite likely that the jet wash would kick up sand from around the target, go below 50 feet and you got yourself a warning, do it twice and you were sent home. The difference between a clean firing burst and frightening yourself was remarkably small. Once more there was always the risk of ricochet damage. Behind the target, with its acoustic scoring device, was the sandbank to contain the rounds, but there was always the chance our 20 millimeter shells would bounce off one previously and leap back into the air for us to collect as we flew over the target. This was one of the reasons we flew right hand pattern since the Balkan cannon rounds tend to spin off to the left. Those who excelled at strafe seemed fearless and earned my abberation. Three months went by, and suddenly the squadron seemed awash with jets. Well, another three or four arrived, and I got to participate in my first exercise, cope, rasher, the name reflected the fact that there were some F one 11s taking part which the Australians like to call the pig. We made up some packages from a mix of hornets, some of the last mirages, a few Mach-E jet trainers, a small herd of pigs, and then ran at each other. What the score was, I can't remember, but this was followed by some four V four combat, all in the aid of a deployment by our sister squadron, number three squadron, who were leading a bunch of hornets taking part in a major multi nation exercise in the Philippines, cope thunder. This would be the first time the Aussies had shown off their new fighters, so a select number of the most experienced pilots were chosen, mainly from three squadron. My boss explained that although I couldn't go all the way with the deployment, I was going to take a spare aircraft, up as far as Darwin, on the north coast, in case one of the others broke on the way. I duly manned up and joined a formation, making up the fourth aircraft, and we set off to the northwest towards our midway refueling stop, in a mining town, called mount Isa. The town was to quote a common color realism beyond the black stump, the back of Burke, or in the gaffer. All refer to somewhere in the vast outback beyond the remote town of Burke, where wild fires leave black and stumps of trees, and in the great Australian air fall. The town of Burke is actually named after fort Burke, itself named for sir Richard Burke, a governor in the mid 1800s, and not as I thought, after Burke of birken wills fame. This pair of European explorers led an expedition to find an inland route between South Australia and the north coast. They died malnourished and exhausted, despite being nurtured by the Cooper creek aborigines, when Burke foolishly shot his pistol at one of them. The aborigines left them to their own devices, and within a month they had both perished. Mount Isa was founded by a lone prospector, John miles, who came across an outcrop of yellow black rocks that turned out to have high levels of lead, silver, copper, and zinc. He staked his claim in what turned out to be one of the world's most productive single minds in history.

Always great to track Chris town. And somebody that Chris works on the weekends with is joined us here at our locale and Holly road joins us. How are you? We've had such a blast talking to you all year and we finally, on the 12th week of the season, get to land in the same place. You're a person. It's a voice in my head, but you're flesh and bone right here. I love it. Well, thank you. And it's interesting that you're here because when you threw us a game tomorrow, you're also going to be you're going to be doing South Carolina tomorrow night in South Carolina Sunday. And we're talking about the women. Who played last night and the only reason we're not speaking to Don staley, we always talk to her, she brought champ last year, and then we had such a great time. And I thought, that must be a really brutal weekend to have to go from here to California, except I just got through watching you on the champ classic two nights ago, and that's just part of your week. It's amazing what you're doing. Yeah, it's pretty cool. I got to see duke men's basketball, Kentucky, Kansas, Michigan state, and then I'll have Tennessee at South Carolina football and then I'll have a one versus two women's college basketball matchup. South Carolina, come on, hello. South Carolina, the ladies are the number one team in the country. They had a game last night and the first dunk in college, basketball history for the women, here, for the gamecocks, Ashland Watkins threw it down last night in a game against Clemson. So can't wait to see the number one women at Stanford, the number two team on Sunday. You also, in addition to men's and women's basketball and weekends, just doing the best game of the weekend, you do the Utah Jazz as well. I got to see Joel embiid throw down 59 points on Sunday Night. So I'm living every sports person's life and dream. Like, I'm getting paid to be at all of these games. So I just, I will never complain, I might be exhausted, but I'll never complain. On that one night off a week that you're not doing a game, what do you do? I usually go to a game or watch a game. I have an addiction. I'm embracing it. I'm addicted to sports. My name is Holly Rowe, and I am addicted to sports, and I've just come to own that. I'm proud of it. Well, we love having you. And let's talk about what these fans are interested in. You just got through meeting with the South Carolina staff, they obviously know what they're up against. What did you learn from them? So I thought there was some really good points. So first of all, a very disappointing loss. Let's be real about the loss against Florida. And Shane Bieber said his message to the team this week was, let's not let a bad day define us as a good football team. And they have been a good team. They've won 5 of their last 7 games. They've had some positive things happen this season. They're both eligible again back to back seasons, but that was a tough loss. They gave up over 350 yards rushing. So here comes Tennessee the most dynamic explosive offense in the country. And it's going to be a challenge and that would be a life. We sugarcoated it any other way. But this is kind of cool. It's senior day. It's 9 of 11 starters on South Carolina's defense. Are from South Carolina. So I know there is a ton of pride in this unit a ton of pride with that defense to be better than they were last Saturday against Florida. So we'll see. It's a tough challenge. But I kind of love that there's some real pride. It sold out. There's another point that Shane beamer brought up that I thought was a good one is Tennessee has not played on the road at night. All of their road games have been day games. And I mean, I don't know anyone to tell us. It's different at night when fans have been, you know, pregame tailgating all day. It gets loud, it gets crazy, and Williams Bryce gets loud and crazy. We saw noise effect Tennessee at Georgia. Let's see how this crowd and how this home environment can benefit the gamecocks. Yeah, I mean, you know, we watched the Tennessee LSU game 6 7 weeks ago. They won by 27. It was 11 a.m. start. You saw the difference between that LSU team and the one you saw two weeks ago against Alabama. I mean, it's different at night. Now, some people say, oh, we don't want to sit around all day and watch other games and you lose your juice, you lose your momentum. I disagree, places are different at night. The fans are better the environment's better. The lights are on. I mean, this light show at Williams Bryce. Have you guys seen the light show? Do we love the light show here? Right. So, I mean, it's going to be electric. Let's see, can you cause a possession? Can you get a false start penalty? Those are real things that erode crowd can do to help their team. Let's see. Yeah, and I've been day games here at night games. Of course, by the way, I saw South Carolina beat Alabama here in the daytime ones. It didn't seem to phase them. But they had half their rasher went on to the NFL that year, and the coach was Steve's four year. Let me ask you about the Tennessee because you saw them a couple of weeks ago as they rolled over Kentucky. I realized every weekend is different, but you're on the field with them. What is it like? Because they are all over the place and moving fast. So I think the really cool thing about Tennessee right now is they are Fast & Furious. So we talk a lot about their tempo. This is kind of interesting. South Carolina went so fast at practice on Tuesday to try to simulate that tempo. Their catapult GPS system said their load was high, so they had to taper it back a little bit on Wednesday because that's how you have to prepare for a team of Tennessee's tempo. But what I like is they're playing with confidence and it's fun, right? Hinden hooker is the most confident young man, maybe in America. I know he got shell shot against Georgia. A lot of people have. And it's how they responded the next week. I think they are playing with a lot of intensity a lot of fun and a lot of furious pace. One thing I really like talking to you about what you've seen and what you've done and often it involves SEC teams, but I want to go back to the last Saturday night because you saw TCU and it's easy to take shots and we all have. Well, not you, me. I was going to say, keep that on that side. I have a table right here. Oh, yes. I'll use the proper pronoun. We sounded better, but it was. What are they all about? TC is really good. Where's my camera? TCU is really good. I didn't know what to expect in person. I've seen TCU teams before that you thought were good, and then they faced different competition, maybe not. They are fast. That is the thing that I don't think we take into account sometimes when you see games on TV, you don't often account for this speed. And TCU's defense has speed. They have a strong defensive front. Their speed all over the field, cornerbacks, linebackers pursuit to the ball.

"Tab and sign up for rigs without cigs. On the next Vince colony show, it turns out Republicans might win the abortion debate too. Join us three to 6 right here on this topic. And he's our currently non Gary McNamara 8 6 6 90 red eye. Well, I think it's time that we talk about community, okay? Okay. Let's talk community where the station occurs. Let's start again here. Let's start again. Here we go. So we invested an additional $12 billion into community banks because we know community banks are in the community and understand the needs and desires of that community as well as the talent and capacity of communities. So there you go. Listen, today's word, community. Madam vice president is community community. We need you to go out and say it in one sentence repeatedly. By the way, the top as for the 21st, the top concerns midterm issues of Americans. Number one now, moving to number one community banks. Violent crime home. In the community. Number two, energy policy, but violent crime number one now Eric, number one. With that include, I'm guessing because it's a direct result. And that is releasing violent criminals back into the community. Yep. I'm sure that would be a part of it. Number one, violent crime number two energy policy number three high gas prices number four inflation. Number 5, the economy. Number 6 illegal. Now, inflation they haven't done a Poland since a 22. They need to update they need to update what rashers needs to do is in order to have total credibility here is update and do all of them in the same week. Yeah. Because for example, school issues is from October of 21. Well, you need to update that or leave it out. Now they acknowledge that they're behind on some of them. But it doesn't give credibility to it. But violent crime, energy policy, high gas prices, inflation was done in August, the economy, all those others illegal immigration all done here in the last couple of weeks, although have been polled. Election integrity was early August, national security was yesterday, his number 8, and then abortion rights number 11 on the list. But when you look at violent crime, energy prices, high gas energy policy, high gas prices inflation, the economy. All of those are all of those are about your personal welfare. And then violent crime, now what there is number one, and then illegal immigration right behind all of those. Not good. Matt good because tell me, tell me where the Democrats shine on any of those top 6 issues. Any of them. No, I mean, you look at right now, tell me where they didn't cause. The issues that people are concerned about. Inflation, which is the economy, violent crime, defund the police. This is a direct result of what this nation has been tolerating for too long. And that is the far left leading it. I think the biggest one of the biggest political stories of this week, because really the biggest story is what the fed is doing inflation and all that. That's going to remain it because it affects everybody every single day. But I think the one story that's missed in the coverage, all the coverage of Trump. Is the story from Tuesday where House Democrats, the committee voted down any type of inquiry on Hunter Biden and Joe Biden. That's huge. And to show you that if you're not being, if you're not being biased about it, Jonathan turley wrote on it. He's a Democrat. Never voted for Trump. House Democrats on the oversight committee took a vote on Tuesday that could come back to haunt them all of the 23 Democrats voted not to inquire into the influence peddling scheme of Hunter Biden and the Biden family, representative James comer proposed a resolution of inquiry in the light of growing evidence of not just possible multi-billion dollar influence peddling operation by hunter and his uncle, but the knowledge of his father, president Joe Biden. At the minimum, it appears that President Biden's repeated public denials of any knowledge of these dealings is false. Yet the Democrats blocked any inquiry into the corruption. If Republicans take the house as expected in the midterms, the Democrats now effectively took ownership of hunter a political proprietary claim that few would relish. The vote comes after 33 senators asked attorney general Merrick Garland to appoint a special counsel on the matter a call that I have repeatedly made in prior columns over the past two years. Representative Carolyn maloney, the chairwoman of chairwoman of the House oversight committee called the resolution a nakedly partisan effort and accused Republicans of being obsessed with under Biden, the vote, however, reveals a blind avoidance by Democrats of the corrupt scheme that brought in millions for the Biden family and may have benefited the president himself. We have stated this. What we already know. About Hunter Biden and connecting the dots to his father that we know the president has lied over and over again, stating that he had no idea of any of his son's business dealings, we know that's a lie. Why? Hunter's laptop

The concept, Chris, is to support your local little league. That's the idea. You understand, but we need them to support us also. I think they were mutually I think they already do. Have you already lost the message that Brett Phillips delivered, took like two minutes, by the way, what a story, huh? Right? Man, Smith and I want to put futures bets down on Brett Phillips to win an Emmy someday for studio analyst or game power man. Right? Like what a personality. More Brett Phillips. Love it. Here on the rich eisen show. 8 four four two O four rich number to dial here on the rich eisen show Gary in Michigan. Let's take your phone call before we get to what's more likely. What's up, Gary? Hey, listen. I don't know if you've made the selections already for, but that interview could win you the Emmy. That baseball player. I just amazing. I've been a baseball fan since I was 7 years old, a Yankee fan. Sorry about that, but baseball's into Don Larsen's backyard. And I had a paper route and the reason why I had the paper out is so I could buy two baseball gloves. One was my fielding glove and one was my catcher's glove. And my saddest day was when I went to Essex Catholic high school where there was 5000 boys. And I couldn't play baseball because I was too small. And I broke my heart, but I gave my catchers glove to the next guy in little league, so he would have a catcher's glove. And the operative word that you used was play baseball. And that meant a lot to me, buddy. I just want you to know, and I'm just you've got the ambi as far as I'm concerned. Great job. Hey, man. Gary, I appreciate it. I can hear your accent, your Michigan. So you're from Michigan, born and raised still there. No, where are you from? I was born in Ohio, lived a lot of years on the east coast New Jersey. Just outside of Newark. Well, I got to tell you this, man. When I went to Michigan for those four years and I was there in Ann Arbor for those four years, the Yankee is a four letter word. How have you been able to survive that out there in that state? All I do is tell them my Yankee stories. I used to dream for you who on gnocchi bearers back parts. I love it. What? You who in his refrigerator on the back port. New Jersey. Two refrigerators. Wow. Come on up. And I think you who with the guys after we play baseball, we come down the alley. You know what the other thing was in this refrigerator? Nick orbach beer. Oh. And he used to get in so much. He got a rasher for that because of the year goes the error marked on the ballantine scoreboard. There you go. Thanks for the call, Gary. Thanks for the call. Appreciate it. Let's go down memory lane any time you want to call back. Thanks for the call. Appreciate it. Yogi? Well, yogi was, he lived in Jersey, right? Isn't that where the yogi museum is? I think it is in New Jersey. I think he's a New Jersey. If he said he was Newark, I think that's yogi country right there. So yogi. That's a little false. Okay. There you go. It's open today causes a 5 o'clock. They're going everybody go stop in. How about you? That's an old school. That's an old school beverage at yoho. Knickerbocker beer, great old logo. Looking at some of these things. Think about that, man. After baseball practices go to yogi bears. That sounds like the sandlot, doesn't it? Right. And have a yo with yogi. All right, you ready for what's more likely here? Going into the weekend, Christopher, are you ready? Ready to try and stump me here? I think I'll get through it. Here we go. Hit.

I mean, their pipe was a couple more question marks over him just the fact that he's been beaten a couple of times and he's obviously had Windsor during returning, I think he had a little injury or something. So there's probably a couple more question marks with him, but I think the Cornelius looks from the improve. So perhaps he's a bit more value. There's a part of me is almost willing to back him to win the race. See you poo. And there's another part of me that just can't get away from adagio. So we'll see. We'll see how it plays out. Thank you. And the other one hasn't. That's true. That's true. That's true, yeah. It has the experience of being to the cheltenham festival and has the experience of also running in the great wood. And that can stand them in very good stead. The betfair ascot Chase went to Ireland. For Mark Walsh and Joseph O'Brien, he really had to dug it out, finally industrial back and third with two for gold in second. What did you make of the performance? Yeah, great, great performance, wasn't it? From faculty do destruct, but I think Pacquiao who? Sorry, I was faculty. We've got Fannie and the best of our in there as well, haven't we the Venetian William talks? Yes, we do yet. Well, he actually he actually ran pretty well. I thought, third, because he sat, he sat out the back into the whole race, but yeah, I thought this was a very solid performance from the Joseph Bryan horse back he did a degree and yeah, he justified favorites and didn't he? I mean, two for gold is running a tremendous race back in second at 25 to one. And he had that inside rail and I thought he had every chance. But yeah, factory has been, I'd say in his career a little bit underrated. I mean, he's put up some really solid performances in the past. Runs from tremendous races. He's won plenty of great races as well. So he does go under the radar a little bit either thought in my opinion anyway. But yeah, take nothing away from you, I think it's great Joseph Brian sent him over to ask Scott and he was justified favoritism. Yeah, and I thought the horse takes from it was, yeah, funny industrial, because initial William's horse and child Deutsche sat. So quiet at the back held up in Rio and he stormed home to finish third and there were only obviously only four finishes. So the rest of the horses pulled up. So it was really a tough going ask on today. So I think Jackie raised pulled it out the fire. And I think he definitely goes under the radar, I think, of it. It probably doesn't get the recognition that he deserves. Yeah, I'd agree with that. It's probably got something to do with the fact that he's just gotten annihilated by all. Not once, not twice three times. And people look at that and just go, yeah, yeah. But he wins his fair share. And he's an entry winner. I mean, he was very impressive at entry last year. And he was so heavily backed. And it makes me wonder what the thought process is going to be with fakir duty. Because he's made it, he's made an absolute meal at the second last. And yet has managed to battle and Mark watts deserves an enormous amount of credit for this as well. He just put his head down and battled. And he's got that strong headwind to fight against as well. And he still managed to prevail. And you can, yes, you can criticize it in the sense that what about the horses who dropped away tamely, like what about Austin translation, tax rasher and San caldes were fancied in the bedding. And did nothing. He can only beat what's put in front of him. Fanny industrial is a very solid form guide. He's got an official rating of one 62. He's a very, very solid art stick. And he's beaten him and he's beaten a 154 rated two for gold, who was rallying all the time. I think that helped him. I think it helped him focus. So would you go to childhood and take on alo again and bid for glory or would you wait and just try and win back to back melling chase as an entry? Well, this is what you said like you said, I think the downfall of this whole traffic area has been alejo. His biggest rival. But there are because Idaho is definitely going to go for the Ryanair. I think there's no other race seller has them go for. Well, unless the school cup, but I don't think he's going to that. And then I mean, pretty similar, it's exactly to be honest, because to me, that's his ideal trip because he doesn't quite say three miles, I don't think, well, in my opinion, anyway, and he's obviously a great one winner over two and a half miles and aren't really that many choices for him. So it looks as though he would, if he does go check, he would have to line up against aloha. And you think, why not? I mean, given the way he's won at the weekend, he looks in good form. So suppose how he comes out this race, as I said, the end downfall that source is the fact that he's going to have to take on alejo again. He's beaten him so many times already in his career. Yeah, I think you're right. Look, maybe you go to cheltenham because you should never be afraid of one horse and certainly going there with chantry house last year. Taking on envoy on whenever one, including me, thought he couldn't be beaten and Downey comes at the second. The second or third, either way. It didn't quite go to plan. So you can't be afraid of one horse, but allaho was just a Lahore was devastating. A chart on last year. And there is no reason to think that he won't be the very same this time around. And everything that he's done this year leads you to that conclusion as well. So I think he's one of the most solid favorites of the entire festival. He probably won't go to any tree. So if you want to go to cheltenham, go. But entry is where you stand your better chance of winning. In terms of the disappointments of the race and fair play to Joseph O'Brien because as it was pointed out by both Rory and Melissa, flying over or getting the boat over whatever it is you were doing, that's not going to be easy in those conditions and we saw how difficult it was for airplanes to land at Heathrow and the damage that was done. So a well done to the tracks for getting the racing to go ahead and be well done for getting horse over from Ireland experiencing that either rough seas or turbulence and succeeding. The Paul Nichols factor we need to talk about. Because San calvados has been moved to the nickels yard. By case and Andrew Brooks,.

Back because she died before Roche Shauna, which is the new moon in September. She died on Russia, not Russia China. She died. Roger Stone she died before rashers on it because she wasn't in the book of life. I always get the more backwards. Russia found it first. So Ruth Bader Ginsburg died under that new moon. And here, and of course, that was when they put Amy Coney Barrett. As the judge in a very quick information ceremony there, Zoom Zoom, let's get her in before they actually, she was being nominated and voted on his elections were already epping. And of course, old Mitch hadn't let Barack put Merrick Garland in because it was when Scalia tipped over. It was in the spring. And I don't know, you're going to be elected. We're going to get rid of it. We're going to wait for the new president, but then boom, he put an Amy. So that's the other energy. The Supreme Court, because under that new moon, in Leo, Ruth left us, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, let RBG left and Amy came in. And we now have another opportunity. I think for sure, the Supreme Court Justice comes in on this one. Because now this is astrology stuff. You can't make it up. So in your life, think about what was going on then because there's a continuation of that story. There is A-okay, what's going to happen? In my case, the moon in Leo and the sun in Leo back then was on my Pluto. In the 7th House and my Pluto was descending into the underworld for sure. And now the moon is there. Kind of thing, oh now, 18 months later, what do you do? What are you doing on this full moon? So all of you think about that because that's the energy of the week. And hopefully that gives you some guidance on how to work with the upcoming feelings. And also watching them and going okay. I get it, I get it. I understand what my assignment is. Because it's got an inconjunction from Pluto. It asks you to work with your triangles constructively, positively and in a healthy manners. But it also says, hey, hey, you got to go do this. You have to go follow your heart's path. The apex of the finger of God is that moon and Leo. What is your heart's pass? If you follow your heart's path, so we had reading, I think, Friday with a woman. And we were talking about it, well, you know, she was talking about her motivation and.

"What I find, what I find interesting and we talked about what he wanted to do tactically. Obviously, we've seen them play effectively. It was a four two three one television. I was playing these Cristiano center forward. So we both said earlier, and I stick to this. Because John on center forward is not a good idea. It doesn't help. You can't press. He gets kicked. He gets tired. He can't run into, you know, he's much better, much more effective. Either playing into two or coming in from a wide position with a real center forward. Does it mean anything that he's willing to sacrifice that? You said it was a brave decision. To get a Lang on the pitch. But you can see why he's because he's got a lot of energy. I mean, to start with, I think, is typically the kind of player not just because he's young, but typically the kind of player that would do anything running says. He's running says I want you to man Mark. They're right by the whole game. I think elanga will do that is a bright kid. But certainly him and Greenwood being white. And that's why I'm worried I have to say for Rushford and Sancho here is because they have got so much energy and so much space that it can easily become the second with christiano one after the other. The good island of schools, I know it's a run from the left inside towards the center. But seriously with that, it's like a supporting crescendo. Absolutely. And green, we can do exactly the same. So at the beginning of the wild and they stay wide, you need with the pitch and the way united play. But one of them becomes partner. You know what that movement was that he made? He comes in from the side and effectively becomes the other side of the farm. It's the movement that Cristiano Ronaldo made some route his career when he was starting when he was starting out. I don't think that central and Rushford can do a langa and Greenwood did Brentford in the second half, for example, in support of christiano. And the only way that maybe this formation can work with cristino is if you use them to wide or slash upfront. Let's talk ration, because I want to get your view on what George just said, but also, obviously, he's had injuries and I think everybody likes rasher because of the way he talks because it was personality because of all the stuff he does off the page. Yeah, of course. Put that all to one side. But if Marcus Rashford were here, he would tell you that he hasn't performed to his level or to his wages. I don't think there's any question about it. And he hasn't done it for a long time. He's got there's been an industrial scale PR operation, which in recent days, which tells you that Marcus Rushford hasn't performed, but it's everybody else's fault apart from his because, you know, he's not being coached, the player's out good and he's been playing with injuries and all this nonsense. I think when people say the PR operation out of the time. What? You said you always explained that. No, no, no, no. He's actually on these briefings, right? When people say, well, Mark, you know, it's not Marcus's fault, the players around him are good enough. Are you ten? Because what I would do is say, excuse me, PR, man. Which players around him aren't good enough? Is it Cristiano Ronaldo's not good enough? Is a Bruno Fernandez who's not good enough? Is it Mason Greenwood who's not good enough? No, no. Who are these players who are rubbish where Marcus Rashford is to carry the team and he's struggling to do that? Yeah, and I think a lot of it focuses on the lack of culture. But I think the lack of coaching work from the previous manager, the guy everybody loved. Yeah, it was a good coach in other east coaches, but I think let's just go at the restaurant. I think that rashford has underperformed for quite a long time now. Both the club and the country it's not the united thing for England as well. And I'm just a bit sick of hearing that. There's so many mitigating factors. Well, sometimes you just have to play us to focus on himself and be better at what he does and he did a lot of great stuff off the pitch. I think that that is kind of encroached on his game now. And I don't think he's spending enough time focusing on his football because if he had, I don't think he'd be in this situation right now where his farmers are nosedive and you know we started performance against wolves last week. That was horrible to watch both these performance and his reaction on the benchy lots. He looked bereft, it looked shocked to pieces. Now, I don't think rush would know 24. I think that he's been the team for 6 years now, and I don't think he's progressed to the shit alone. If he had played for a clover Pep Guardiola at man city, I think would be seen Marcus rush was a well bitter right now. I think he'd have been culturally different level. I think it would have been a much better team player. I think the problem united of guys at rashford and a few others, I think makes a great endangered becoming like this as well. Our individual plays it. Our team players. I don't quite know what rashford offers anymore. And I think they're getting back to the a longer situation. I think Randy has done that for two reasons. First of all, to reward a language performances in training and brief substitute appearances. Also to make a point to rush for anti Sanchez. This is what I need for my players. I want a work ethic I want to desire. I want a commitment. I want you to chase lost causes. I want you to do what everything that I like does it. You stop doing. Now, Marcus Rashford, what were you now in January? I think that he's got a real struggle this has to make the World Cup scrub this year, and might be surprised at that because it's Marcus Rashford and you know he always gets in the squad. Gareth Southgate has made a point throughout his England career of not picking players that don't play for the clubs are not picking players who stop performing. Marcus Rashford is in both those categories right now. He actually scored last night he came and that might be the start of things who knows. It might be that kickstart is returned to farm again, but I don't know if it will be. But this is a massive year for Marcus Rushford. Claude for country and also is concert expires at the next season. Now you know how they've got another option on that year's option, so it will take into 2024. But if you're a man united, do you just blindly give Marcus Russia a new contract because it's Marcus Russell, are you saying, actually, we need this guy to show us that he can deliver more than it is doing because why should we just give him a big new contract on the base of the last 18 months two years?.

"Let's do this. Let's see. That sting was by the great Matthew of Los Angeles, California, easting so nice. We had to play it twice. And you are listening to wgf the bald, the show where you call in questions as good as the first 30 minutes of Conte's opening spurs game. And I will give you answers as an organized and chaotic as a subsequent 60 minutes. Calling you questions to 6 four 6 four 5 zero 9 four 7 two. That 6 four 6 four 5 zero 9 four 7 two. Now the only phone number that I actually have committed to memory. And it could be your voice on the part. Let's do it. And it's Brian to banister again. Manchester United from San Diego since 95. The Derby's coming up, but of course, all questions. Have to be on the United States. I don't understand what's happened to Harry aguirre. It seems there's lots of plot. He needs to be set as far as I'm concerned, at least for a little bit. But what do you do? You can't really, can you? I mean, bran out by he's great at getting and blocking shots. He also makes really daft decisions at times that just makes him a liability. And with the Derby, it's going to be as you expect. It's going to be 99% city possession. And so I'm thinking all these are going to try to hit them on the break. But basically just sit back and just hope that maybe Lindelof's healthy and you can make that 60 yarder to put it on the rashers foot or in front of them. What the hell? Oh, Brian. Got it. Surreal. It's truly truly wild times at Manchester United. The good vibes. They were from well they lasted of that sparkling new three 5 two formation. Always a genius again. And then they stumbled into Atalanta, who made a mockery of the revolutionary new formation. Everything came down to that old, it's a cliche at this point. It's happened so many times, yep, depending on Ronaldo to country moment of sublime last second magic to escape with a stolen point. What the dog on isawa partito? Some golet say we're chole up in the most hack need way possible, post match let's take a listen. But he does provide those moments. And I'm sure Chicago Bulls didn't mind having Michael Jordan either. So, you know, sometimes teams have to have the players they have and that's why they are at man united. And that's why they are champions at Chicago Bulls. You just come up with those moments. And for me, I know there's votes coming up Cristiano is just getting better and better for us. Oh, like, you united. The worst episode of last dance of all time, poor Bruno Portuguese pippin. And it doesn't get any easier for Manchester United this Saturday early morning kick-off. It's only the Manchester Derby a game that promises to be as dark, searing and epic as the battle of Winterfell peps dreaded white walkers march on Old Trafford with their deep squad black belt in tactics and I dragons. They kind of know what they're doing. But they're going to face united under all. Who is he manager who? I mean, it's not like this progression here. Once again, he will fling his superstars onto the field as if he's just opening a giant bag of beautiful marbles and hoping beyond hope that one hits the target. I have rarely I will say this at this point really seen a greater collection of incredible individual talents who combine to create less of a collective, yet a capable of truly scintillating footballing moments. And it gets worse for your boys Brian Raphael for an terrible news just back out again with a hammy injury. But a brutal time because he's the only defender, you know, he was able to actually defend. So it really means once again into the fray once more down to Ronaldo. This game win or lose is going to revolve around him. United fans hopes and dreams rest on his shoulders which, by the way, he could love that more. But he is always moon and stars so much of the united game runs through him for both good and bad. The so much talent that has to almost suppress their talent to service Ronaldo. There's so many great players who don't get into the side because they have to configure the united starting 11 around Ronaldo course that now vaunted like a pressing. It just creates compromise all over the field. But you would never bet against Renaldo, would you? To be honest I would in this one, I think it's going to be bad not necessarily Liverpool 5 nil bad, but emperor has no clues. What are you doing bad once again? This united team. They are just not created or configured to win a football games. They are, whether they therefore, which is a theme of this podcast, what are we all here for? That's another conversation, but what are teams? What are our teams there for? United, essentially, they're there to look good on posters on global billboards on Instagram to do massive massive numbers. Engagement metrics. But again, there's a football team. We're going to well train world drill brilliant opponent. Not so much. Let me make you feel better, Brian, by playing you this commercial from India. Some of it's in English. Some of it not but you get the gist. It's a nervous boyfriend. He's going to meet his potential father and mother in law. They're both icing him. No one wants to talk to him. He's just dying out there until he pays for dinner with a Manchester United credit card, and his future father. He's been a bastard so far throughout this dinner. Suddenly, pulled up his pants to reveal his wearing a pair of Manchester United socks and immediately father and future son in law. Their relationship just changes to one of joy this. This, this is what modern football is all about. Let's take a listen. Uncle. How was the food? Unimpressive. So they died. I should rotate logging..

"Like a glazer, and so I tried to think like a glazer. You know, probably Joel blazer, because by the way, yes, tell me. The glaciers who yeah, I mean, reports in India saying that they are in Dubai as they are going to buy a franchise from the IPL. You know the cricket. Not all the blazers. But if I could continue quietly. So maybe that's where the priorities are right now. Stop it. Stop it. Stop it. You're being mean. I'm just saying. Stop it. No, look, the glazers, and I'm trying to be so I tried to put myself in the glazer shoes, right? I'm gonna ask myself which glaze or do I want to be? Probably Joel because, you know, I look at Joel avram Brian. Joel, I think is clearly the most normal out of them. And from their perspective, they're running a business. This is obviously pandemic accepted, a hugely profitable club, a club that's growing in value. So char is the kind of manager that's not going to embarrass the club or cause internal strife with what he says. Unlike some of the guys who came before him, as long as he doesn't screw things up too much, they're good, right? In the end, they can be patient, or still finish probably top four. Figure out how to do that. Situation would have to get really bad for him to be sucked. We're talking group stage elimination, and then maybe ten points behind in January. But I was told all this before the game. And I was told the last deliverables are going to change that. But this loss, this is not like the other losses. This is a real humiliation, really psychological. And the more I think about it, the reaction of christiano and Pogba, that makes me think, maybe they're going to maybe they're going to think differently nodules. I think the only way I still think they look at the man united shares before the results. And you're right. Until they are either at very early in the Champions League or not qualifying for the next one. That's what could hurt them. Not not a defeat there and there. So I think that this is the point of view that they have. I think what can change is if the players now are saying, okay, this is enough now. This Congo on anymore. We can't have him as a manager. Because and I think it must be similar in a lot of industries in the law of jobs and work and whatever. You know, if the guy who's above you is good or not. We all know it. You know that the guy who the guy who's managing you, whatever your job is, if he's good or not, if he's making you improve or not. If he's gonna get you results or not or help getting you resorts, which will be like financial results, winning step, whatever you do. You know, we all know that. We all had that boss before who was webbing, and we all knew it, and we were all saying, discussing it between us. Oh yeah, he's, you know, he's a lost cause he's rubbish is this and that. And we all had great bosses that we said, I love him. He's great. This is that. And it's exactly the same in dressing room, regardless of the level. Top level, rubbish level. You all know you themes, professional teams, you know, he's a good coach. He's not a good coach. And the players know and to discuss it between themselves. So familiar the only thing that can change now is if those players are saying this can't go on anymore. You know, if christiano says, listen, I mean, I've worked with so so, so and so this is not this is not up to the task. This is not up to the standard diagram that united should have. I don't know, maybe he thinks that the source code is great. And he's doing a good job and he's a great manager. Maybe I'm just, I'm just wondering what's going on right now between the price. I'm not talking the WhatsApp group the source here and the staff have access to. I'm talking to the WhatsApp group that only the players have. I'm talking to the conversation that you have between players, either privately at home or the training run on the train beach, all of that. I'm just wondering what they're talking about. But for sure, I can tell you that they're not saying these guys as good as club and guajillo and so on. To be honest, like christiano I don't think he's had a manager, he really loved and loved and respected. These managers use respected, maybe set managers he's loved, but I don't think that managers he's loved and respected since he left Real Madrid. But do you see why I mean? Yeah. What could change? Only the players voice now could make them change. Yeah, and even in that maybe he's safe. You don't know, but George you make a great point. You talk about players voice, right? So what players? Because we're talking about, because I don't know, it would have to be players where the club is very invested in, right? The club are not very invested in Paul Pogba because he is a contract sitting there and he's out of contract in June. You know, they can say they're very invested in Cristiano, but, you know, ultimately, it's a two year deal. He turns 37 years old in February. They're obviously not building the club around christiano. It would need to be other players who are important at this club. And who are listened to? Could it be varan? Probably not because he just arrived and because he wasn't part of this debacle. Could it be McGuire with his ups and downs? I don't think it's going to be green, what he's too young, I mean, you're basically talking about Bruno rasher mcdonagh, guys like this. I don't see McDonald being one to rock the boat. I don't think he has a status frankly to do that. Possibly, but he just came back. And Bruno, you know, let's not forget where Bruno comes from. Let's not forget that Bruno is not a guy who grew up a superstar. He's a guy who became a superstar. And I don't know if it fits his personality. So I genuinely don't know what's going to happen what's going to happen there. But I'll tell you what, this is one thing that bugs me about social right. Wow, I like him enough, and he's been humble and whatever until recently when I think he's generally said some stuff that I think was spiking, you don't expect to hear from him. I don't like it when people talk about, well, we're building something, look at what we're building. Because he's been there for three years. It's going to be three years on December 19th, that he's been in charge. And when you look at this team, and what they've built and where they are, right? You have to have who many people wanted to dump for dean Henderson and Henderson still there. As far as I'm concerned, that situation is still unresolved because what's going to have to happen is that Henderson will rightly demand a move if the he is still the number one. You have a back four where, okay, fine, varana and Maguire are plausible if they play Beth Maguire plays to his potential. One misaka, I'm not sure long term is the kind of guy you want to title with. Maybe he is, maybe you can have one guy like that. Luke Shaw, I'm not in the bandwagon. He seems like a very likeable guy. He has his moments, but he also has massive pauses..

"Get paid. I just got residual through screen actors guild. I was getting 7 8 $9000. Every couple of months would become for pay per view and all that sort of stuff. I did that in a year one time. You know, Bill Murray's pretty cool guy. I don't know how did you have any interests? I have a Murray story. I got a picture of you. In fact, I'm going to put it on the tweet when I tweet about this podcast of him kissing you on the head. Yes. Yes. And what was that all about? Well, they just blit well. It started out. Like, it was innocent. It was innocent. Then it went out of control. That was a little pose picture with Chris ankle. Woody Harrelson, Bill Murray and me. Yeah. Yeah. Anyway my $7000 over the years reduced a little bit reduced a little bit now every two months I got a check for 1495. Exactly. You can afford the DVD now. Exactly. You don't even want to walk in a mailbox for that kind of money. Honestly. Well, Bill Murray came to the greater Hartford open one time when he was friends with Peter Jacobson. So Peter had not made the cut and all of a sudden a limo pulls up on Saturday. It was after he didn't make the cut. And how come jumps Bill Murray? And he picking up Peter to take him somewhere in the limo. So I got a camera guy to be like, oh, Bill Murray let's run over there and talk to them, see if we'll talk to us. We run over there. I don't even ask them. I just take the microphone and walk up to them and I go. So you're here to give Peters some tips. And he looks right at me and he says, yeah, mostly not go off or he goes fashion. Fashion tips. He says he's been copying my refrigerator repairman, look for years now. I don't think he's shown quite enough butt crack. So I took that and we ran it on the news, of course. Sure. And he was just quick and easy with the whole thing. I thought, this guy's pretty cool, you know? But how about a good move on your part not to say, hey, can I have a couple minutes of your time? But to do it, he knows he's immediately on camera and he's got to perform. So good move, veteran move by. That's the old I'd rather ask the ambush forgiveness than permission. And it works exactly. Very, very well. Well, about halfway through the ten day shoot, Murray at the end of the day says road trip tonight. We're in Reno. You're in Reno? No. What is it called the biggest little town in America, whatever. It's kind of a little scuzzy, but it's all right. It's like Vegas. It's like Vegas that needs power washed, okay? Yeah, that kind of thing. So Bill says road trip tonight, we're all gonna go play baccarat. And nobody knew how to play bac race. I'm gonna teach everybody. So it was Peter Farley, Bobby fairly. Me, a couple other people, and Bill. And when we got to the table, bill made people sit around him. And he's a stand right behind me and Pete on one side and Bobby on this side because people are kind of like a little fence. And he was located. He wasn't a big deal about it. And within 5 minutes of us starting to play baccarat and Bill explaining and it's kind of complicated how to play. There's a guy directly across the table, maybe 20 feet away, holding all this material like looks like scripts or pages and pages of stuff. And he's holding it like a book scrapbook and stuff like that and he's staring at Bill like this. And we could see that he had zoned in on Bill, and Bill says don't make eye contact ten o'clock. Don't make eye clock. Don't do not. Fucking eye contact at ten o'clock. And the guy just standing there instead and there's a wonderful can take it anymore. After about 20 minutes, the guy hadn't moved. He was the only thing he wasn't doing wasn't drooling. Yeah. He wasn't drooling yet. But he's looking at Bill. So finally Bill looks up to him and he acknowledges them and emotions the guy to come over. And a guy just kind of drifts over and he's got he's got all the scripts of all the movies and all these photographs of Bill over the years. And I said, oh my God, he's not gonna ask Bill to sign these things. And he was, and he had to pen the whole thing. And rather than sign the bill walked up to him and stood up from the table, turned around, put his arms around the guy's shoulders and pulled him in tight. He says, I knew I loved you from across a crowded room, and he turned the guy and he said, goodbye. And he pushed him, and the guy just floated off. Never said a fucking word. I have an autographed like Bill just blew his census away. He just ended the whole thing. And did the whole thing? Yeah. In a way where the guy can't even complain. Couldn't even talk, you know? It was great. He's like, all that Bill Murray said. Oh my God. Now, you've met a lot of people not just in the movies, you know, obviously you did the radio show for how many years I'm going to tell you 1999 19 and a half years toll on. So you interviewed everyone. We know from Brady, you still talk to Brady? Yeah, I actually do. Well, not on pals or anything. No, but you have communication with him. Yachts are next to each other. Seriously. But you have interviewed, obviously over the years in the morning show, everybody. Really, honestly, it's like, is there anybody that is not on that list that you wished you'd interviewed? Because it went on forever. Well, Tiger would have loved to have interviewed Tiger. Love to, especially when all the shit hit the fan. And do you recall? I mean, that was a more sanitized version in terms of the public and America's fascination. It was like, OJ, but not quite. You know what I mean? Without the blood? Yeah, replace the blood with sex. Exactly. Sometimes. And every day, another woman said, yeah, he did me in the parking lot of the IHOP. You know what? Over easy. Over easy. And I would have given, obviously, I got an eastern rasher of bacon out of that one out there. Well yeah, that was a big story because huge. Because it took him to a human filthy little level. Yes. It's like when Clinton jogged with the hookers, you know? Or, you know what he always did. But Tiger, he was on his way. Yeah, it had everything. It had fame and had fortunate had sex. It had deceit. It had a scorned wife who was freaking beautiful. He had an injury, she smacked him in the face with a 9 iron, he crashed his car. That was great stuff. Yeah. They could make a little mini series out of that. It was OJ, and nobody died. Yeah. Yeah. So much better than the sandusky era. Oh my God, yeah, that was like sickening though. Oh, that's so good. I think everybody got a prurient, whatever that word is prurient interest to watch the guy, as you said, on the pedestal, just come crashing down. Right. And then half of them hoping he'll climb back up on it. Yes, he did. The other thing, you know, he's stunned. No, right, right. Can I tell you the fluff story? Absolutely. As a golfer? Does it have to do with marshmallow fluff? No, no, no, no, but we had his caddy on. The year after you won the masters for the first time. Yeah. And this is a golfing store that golfers would appreciate. And so toward the end of the interview, I'm looking at Jerry and we're going to a minute left and we flush the wheel. It's going pretty good. I'm thinking to myself, while Jerry's asking a question, what can I ask fluff that golfers would say, oh fuck, that's a great question. That's what I want to know. And I came up with it. I said, fluffy, great talking to you. But before we let you go, give me your best distance and club selection story that will amaze us about Tiger. No good question. Yeah, it is. He goes, oh, this is last year at the masters. He said he's on 14 or whatever the whole he's in the pine straw. The kid looks at me. I know what he wants. He says, I go, one 91 to the front, one 97 pin the green ends at two O two. Tiger looks at me and says, you think 9 irons too much? One 91 front because you think 9 earns too much. No, I don't think 9 hours too much. Easiest question to anybody ever ask him to be. Yeah. It's from one 97. Exactly. Oh. Yeah, John is John Dennis is a you had a golf show, even only talking about golf, playing golf for a long time. There was a period of time when you had an injury you couldn't play or you didn't play. Golfing the world. But you're back at it now. Yes. As I know, mediocre. From watching you. Yeah, you were putting really, really well. We played a week ago Monday at a Jimmy fun golf tournament and dino saved our group at least 5 times with good.
