"And and basically comparing your lifestyle to the idealized lifestyles And what other people have they choose to percent on instagram. it's it's just and that's just one section of its just really kinda horrifying. And what are they doing with this internal report. Nothing right nothing yet actually worse than nothing so facebook testifying to as you can imagine lots of people in congress over the past year. They were asked specifically about this issue. even zuckerberg under oath. I think i'm sorry i just. I don't know whether he was under oath. And on but was asked specifically about the issue of. Hey what about the the impact that facebook instagram have upon kids mental health. And he said no. I think we have studies. That says that we're pretty much okay. two leading the senate subcommittee members had been asking specifically a facebook. Hey do you have studies on this. And we want access to those studies and had been completely firewall. The on this And of course after this report has happened on tuesday Both of those committee members senator blumenthal and blackburn the democratic the democratic and republican chair and ranking committee member of the senate senate commerce science and transportation subcommittee Have said guess what we are now opening an actual investigation into whether or not you were lying to us. And what you how you must or might be punished because of that It's just one section of a long long series of articles that dropped on tuesday demonstrating that facebook is will often spend a lot of time and money researching its own effects but not a whole lot of effort in actually changing anything. If they think that it'll affect the bottom line affect user engagement or even the company's self perception of facebook as a as an active agent of good nocco nice in this wall street journal story i was thinking. Well how is this different than a million years ago when people used to girl. She's took get seventeen magazine glamour magazine and realized that they were never going to look like them the models and they are and there were things that they pointed out which i thought really were important that number one. That kids feel addicted to instagram. This real addictive quality to it that they talked about a young woman who want to lose one to exercise more and she was suddenly bombarded with all these photographs of exercise routines and and really unhealthy ways to eat less than you eating disorder. Kind of stuff in the third thing which i thought was fascinating was talking about the number of likes or number of followers. You get on your social media. Feed being a big thing started about those things. Yeah it's more interactive now. This issue has been going on for for decades. Probably long that but Let's focus on magazines popular culture that has always been a huge issue however social media for all of its positive things and there are so many positive things about social media. Let's take one second to sort of take a all kinds of people. They're all kinds of people who've Especially kids that feel like. They're completely marginalized within their community and social media will help them find their people. Find their tribes. No no the world is bigger than just this town. Just these idiots at my school who keep giving me a bad time. As soon as i leave this town there are people out there who will appreciate me for who i am and social media can absolutely helped people find that however part of the machinery of social media is it gets to know who you are it makes. It makes things very personal to you. It'll make sure that it It will show you the things that will sort of amplify whatever it is thanks. That's on your mind. So if i'm thinking about g. I really think i could lose like ten or twenty pounds. Maybe it will help me find..

"They didn't like their offense last right while there is in different in their quarterback may have been dealing with some arm issues because he's almost forty years old and he's had surgery on it so i'm to me. It all starts with rothlisberger and not the offensive line if rothlisberger isn't fresh and ready to throw deep for seventeen games i'm nervous. I'm nervous about what this offense will look like if they try and change. It's okay we're gonna mix more deep balls that doesn't mean that they're going gonna necessarily connect on them all. There's a lot of research that needs to be done here. I like harris. And i think the opportunity is there for him to get a lot of work. That's why he's in the mix as a top fifteen or sixteen fantasy running back. I think you might be stretching it a little bit especially given how many other running backs that actually look pretty damn good this year. Why why would stretch for harris. When i can go and get another really good running ahead of the andrea swift antonio gibson. You're gonna tell me that they are clearly better than than harass. Forget about them. Because i don't think anybody has either of them in the top ten running backs. No you guys gibson head of hair and if we're talking about is a first-round pick you're not going to take nausea ahead of davante adams. Tyreek hill killer travis. Kelsey are you now. Okay so we get the running backs get in the first round it. It's a little easier to do in a non. Pbr league to do that agreed. And if if aaron rodgers gets traded then all bets are off of atoms. Yeah on pbr. It's still take tyreek over harris for charan kelsey. Yeah i mean. It's not the it's not. I think you could argue that swift gibson. Range of does maybe he deserved to be a top twelve running back. But i don't think he's going to get into the top nine. I also think fantasy managers might be a little gun shy to take a rookie running back after what happened to last year's first round rookie running back but two running backs finished top six last year. And here's one one. One of them was found in round seventy it. Does that would matter to me. But here's one more argument for rookies. In general i do think the seventeen game season helps. And i don't know that it's going to matter for harris. 'cause he's going to get big work right out of the gate but with a lot of the rookie running back with the rookie wide receivers. They almost always get off. The slow starts so having an extra week of good production could help you know what. We had an extra week of jonathan taylor. We had an extra week of the andrea swift x ray of antonio gibson. Justin jefferson is going to help the rookies. But it won't matter for harris because he'll be the workhorse out of the gate is competition. Stinks to right. I mean they're not they're not takes off the field for those guys one hundred but trevor. Ctn's at different story. Everybody's got him as a lower. I guess call low end number two option right now. Nineteenth to twenty third overall in nineteen to twenty third so he how did you arrive on your ranking of tragedy. He's one of the guys. I actually boosted above is projection. I think is projection. Had him run twenty seven or twenty eight But there's too much upside to rank him that low so i just basically moved him to the top of the guys like right after myles gaskin You've got a..

"That is the case of for in most situations. Explain that a little bit later depending on format. But let's go to the news and notes real quick here. New england decline sony michelle's fifth year option and again. I explained that yesterday every first round pick has a four year deal and the team can pick up his fifth round option. They have to do that. Going into the guys fourth season. So this is michelle's fourth season. They had to decide now. Are we going to pick up his fifth year option. Or is he going to become a free agent next season and they have elected not to resign them. I guess they could franchise him in theory. They could still work out a contract with him. He's not under contract for next year as of now. That's what it means right. Yeah it just means. He's easier for them to leave on the side of the road. Yeah but it's not a vote of confidence. Put it that -ticipant. The same move being made with damian harris in the coming years right and then eventually withdrew hundred stevenson. Well no. They can't do those guys because they weren't i i but they can still get ditched on the side of the road. But why okay so damian. Harris was very very good very productive last year. There was also a report from the athletic from jeff. How that said michelle and harris will be solid one two combos and the truth is michelle has been pretty good At times the offensive line should be better. And there's just one thing to look into. Here was was what their roles were when they both played only two games all year were. They both played they. Both out with. Injuries harassments the first three games. Michelle a harris. Miss the last few There were two games where they both played. And if you just look at the numbers the carries were pretty similar. But if you dig into the box scores they were both blowout. Winds and harris was clearly the lead running back so in the two games they played before either garbage time or before harris left with an injury harris at twenty seven carries and michelle had eight so they went with him over sony michelle last year. I think that is important to note it. May it's not super evident if you just look at the numbers but wanted out like the whole one two punch. This is a combo team when it comes to running the football is. There's no one two punch. They've got a one two or three or four and maybe a five touching the football out of the backfield so they can a one. Two punch is fine. If it's one guy to catch sixty passes and then can run at eighty times and you can be good for pr. A one two combination where james white is doing the passing work and somebody else is probably going to steal three or four touchdowns. Maybe cam newton's going to steal eight to ten touchdowns right it's just there's no appeal at all this teams currently constructed for me to draft harris. Orsoni michelle. i'm not sure if there will be weeks. Where cam isn't the leading rusher. But we just attempts ten or twelve attempts. They chose what i worked on saturday. Jones was under center..

Dan, the five minute role committee will end we'll we'll come toward appoint out that we didn't enforce the five minute rule on. I'm an attorney. General whitaker. We will understand meserve. I would just saying they might be a good breaking born. The attorney general was in the middle of saying something question answer the question. Please. I love it. You're five minutes is up time. This is ridiculous. And by the way, the guy was there voluntarily he agreed to five minute rounds. But have the Democrats ever been bound by rules and regulations when to break them it's to their advantage. No, oh now, this is this is it. Here we go. This is. This is. House Judiciary committee. The ranking committee member Doug Collins, blasting democrat committee member Eric swallow. Because swallow was you know, he was into one of these questioning routines. And folks, this was disgusting. I mean, they've turned this hearing into a mock trial, and they're asking questions only to provide the liberal networks and social media sites at such with soundbites of them of them anything they'll say anything to make any response or non-response look bad on this man, AG Whitaker and Donald Trump. If at all possible, so the House Judiciary committee. They've got Eric swale. Well, you just have to listen to this. It's about a minute long sixteen please. "You wanna put the smart in your smart speaker kiss asked me to play this Marta station. I know. Whatever I want fifty KFYI on iheartradio. You gotta keep them separated. Thanks for being here. It's the Mike Broomhead show. The FBI in the stone arrest there are a lot of questions they sent to Twenty-nine members of a swat team to arrest a sixty plus year old man on charges of lying to the FBI. And when I first saw when the story first came out, I did not know answers. So I waited and I asked and I asked people that did this for a living with the FBI and the swat team is this odd later. Oh, yeah. Definitely overblown. In Houston, Texas, unfortunately, with the shooting of those officers, they sent five officers to serve a search warrant on a guy that was violent and they knew had weapons they sent Twenty-nine FBI agents, including two boats to Roger stone's house as was pointed out by Lindsey Graham, who is now asking for a while they're asking two questions one is what the hell was that for and the other is why was CNN there? And people want to know. Roger stone says it's because he's friends with Alex Jones. He supports Donald Trump and they're trying to make him look like public enemy number one. So Lindsey Graham Watson official investigation. Somebody pointed out that there were less members on the seal team that got bin Laden. That sounds silly. But it's the truth. So John Berman John Avalon on CNN. They have a theory because the president went did interview with the daily caller. And he said that he's disappointed to see how it went down. It shouldn't have gone down that way. And so because the president spoke out and said, it shouldn't have happened that way they say, this is fomenting a conspiracy theory is basically the same thing as New Orleans intelligence services what she's done over the last twenty four hours. What he's saying here is that the Justice department law enforcement the way they've chosen to do things is wrong. And I don't approve of it president in private viciously attacking his own denied, Dan Coats, because the intelligence services contradicted him in front of congress because they have information they've given to the president that the president chooses not to listen to instead preferring to foment conspiracy theories. What is one do with the other? Twenty nine tactical agents with the FBI you fomented conspiracy theory Mike now. Yeah, I guess I am. Do you know me I love conspiracies, Alex Broomhead? Why couldn't I be Michael Jones? We're going to stick with room. Okay. It's a branding player. So the president United States is fomenting a conspiracy theory. No, the president United States is saying is that why did twenty nine people have to go arrest. A sixty year old was charged with lying. Was a serial killer. Matter of fact, Bundy escaped. I don't know if you guys remember that Bundy. Ted Bundy was arrested this this was in Utah, Colorado. I think a Utah and was on trial, and they didn't have him shackled. They put him in a room on the second floor to do some library work and left a window. Open jumped out. That was the security around Ted Bundy. And now, you got twenty nine people going after sixty pleasure. Oh, man. And there's again, the optics of this. Is there an optical element to this? Why was CNN there? Why were they tipped off? So the ranking committee judiciary committee Republican that is Lindsay Graham also is one of them. But the Republican Doug Collins. In the house. I believe. Yeah. In the house. Sent a letter to the FBI director on Wednesday questioned the bureau's tactics when arresting Roger stone. Collins joins Lindsey Graham and questioned the amount of force was used. Stolen is sixty six years old. The bottom line is this seems to me over the top. And I don't know what message was being sent this what Lindsey Graham said. But I personally didn't like it. You know, I've been a prosecutor a defense attorney. It seemed to be sending the wrong message that if you cross special counsel, Robert Muller. Look what's going to happen you so Graham added Muller do your job. But these tactics are unacceptable, given the level of threat here. So. In this letter. It said, although none of the seven charges against stone is considered to be a violent crime the FBI demonstrated immense show a four string and early morning. Rated stones home. This is a letter from Collins, given the facts at the FBI is embroiled in a scandal related to the origins of this investigation. We are perplexed about why the FBI would use such a show of force and arrest of an elderly, man. And it's a great question. And do you think there'll be an answer? No why. Because the media is going to say, you're fomenting a conspiracy theory. It wasn't a conspiracy theory there were twenty nine people than just make a phone call. I made a phone call. I actually I sent text messages is this normal is this normal. No, no. It's not very odd. Overblown was the word one person used overblown. Now, these aren't people with an opinion. These are people that were members of the FBI swat team telling me this. So send a text message megaphone call and if somebody with the FBI swat team, a former member of the FBI swat team says to you over at CNN. Yeah, you know, twenty nine people in two boats at this house in that raid is odd that does not normally happen. Then you got yourself story. Don't you? Then you go and ask them you say, you know, former members of the FBI swat team have said what you did was overblown. Can you give us a reason as to why it took twenty nine people to arrest? A sixty six year old man on charges of lied to congress. But what are the chances that anyone's going to do that? Eight thirty five is it possible that we could avoid another shutdown. There are seventeen members in a bipartisan committee together trying to figure out whether or not we can avoid a shutdown and part of that's going to be an agreement on border security funding will include a wall. The president says if it does it he has no interest even looking at it. We'll talk about that right around the corner at eight thirty five she's.
