"So they have this Southwest Airlines pilot You've probably heard of this guy right Who said let's go Brandon before he took off He kind of muttered under his breath And they wanted to do an investigation on the guy Southwest promised to get to the bottom of this They said we will not allow political statements political statements What if the guy had a friend named Brandon I mean is that certainly a possibility Is it not He might just know someone named Brandon It might just want to be saying let's go Brandon But beyond that too beyond even wanting the investigation into the Southwest Airlines pilot for saying that they also said this now They said this was osha ranga on a Twitter who said as an experiment I'd love for a Southwest air pilot to say long live ISIS before taking off My guess is that the plane will be immediately grounded The pilot fired at a statement issued by the airline within a matter of hours See now if you can't figure out the difference between let's go ISIS and let's go Brandon I don't know what to tell you but you're clearly a leftist I mean there's no other way around it You're just clearly a

"Yeah and do a bunch of takeover the body so so every survey night she would she would go to sleep then he would sort of crack open. The back of the head emerge as a feis in her hair would go in front of her face and then he would walk backwards to various locations and do a backwards murder and then she would wake up with a lot on the back of it and go what happened that trauma familiar thing that happened. And what i what i mean. I thought i'd figured it out pretty that it was confirmed to may win. The kill literally ran up a whole white backwards. I think i figured this out and the killers like murdering people backwards in a bed. You'd probably out that. I'd imagine. But i think it also led to this incredible action said's of first of all like chases but there's a moment in i am in jail cell where there's just a whole lot of murders that happen. That's that's again. I did enjoy that but and it felt like upgrade where she kills everybody in the police station essentially champion bought when she is put into that jail cell. Even though they're like you didn't do this murder. We're gonna put you in this jail cell anyway. If i recall will people in there are just like they. Both they were like absolutely standard-issue cliches. Yeah like you know women in prison conatel bell the almighty ninety. She's destroying also even like a woman like like at nine hundred seventy s like swilling bodysuit. Did she just what what is happening. Here what do you geez malignant. Yeah but that's what i liked about it. And then when she gets into the police station. It's like john wick with a backwards lunatic. Yeah just murdering people and throwing chairs. Yeah snapping next backwards. It's at that point where i'm like. This is worth the price of admission ultimately zero their ira for me but the his the the issue that i had earlier is it. So in addition to being a chuma twin on the back of a person's head he also has the ability to like yours electrical disturbances and project and project. His voice through things like the radio or telephone things like that and that obviously emerged from the idea of well. How is this character. Going to communicate to people without giving the game away at it is just a person in in the head. And i just went. I just say he's got electrical pounds or whatever. Yeah that's like you think they're a better way to do this. Yes yeah just say you can talk radio. I guess yeah i think there was. That supernatural element. Yeah you're right. I think it could maybe written around. That could have been like okay. Maybe maybe he sets up taper quotas something all. Yeah you know leaves saw. Yeah when we got to. Because he doesn't really need the electrical palestine like it doesn't really the only saying that is therefore is when interrogating her and then he coal on the fire right. Yeah but i think you're you have written that a different way but also this is the silliest movie i ever say yes i don't mind at all show you what i really want from this. At the end of the day was that i went ten years of laissez. Qu'ils yeah just keep it going. Yeah that's go god. I mean just the absolute just that the ending when she's like no actually. Now i have the pal and also i'll be back in the sequel. Yeah exactly. Yeah i would clamp my head shot children. You'd have to. Yeah we're headband headband. Exactly just so even. If you head cracks open he constantly got thing yeah just silly potty up the back of my head right yeah. Yeah but i don't know. I think i'm going to say i was. I think the fact that i call we did it so she's recovered and what not really recovered but like God it's all figured out. It's like that woman has to go to jail regardless you just can't let that just be around because of the lunatic back of the head. Maybe there's a third twin somewhere else in body triple twin the font the front of a heads autopsy. Danny devito like he's coming out of that count. I don't know. I think if you like i think with definitely worth checking out but it gets very silly but i also think it's like it's supposed to be silly exactly what it is and that's what i liked about it and up. Next is equatorial from james wan. As excited any. Is there anything else we want to talk about. This movie mason ranga. Mommy don't have to now that we can just move forward Like a shock shock No i think. I you know i thought the performance was were pretty. Good yep Although little bit corny yeah And again the the world could have looked like an actual will a spooky haunted house. it did again It's not what we read in oregon right. How did you squander. That's you've done less than that. Yeah but shut up when you think of that. That hurts yours. Hurt more.

"Made them all got her hundred goals for arsenal last week. Now i know obviously the main kind of newsy story is old trafford. We'll talk about latin bit because stepping away from the occasion side of it. I think it was actually quite routine money. I mean a four new cost is not unprecedented. For united's i actually want to sell his dog. If i because i think the intensive it's seismic result the season i think this is. I think this is a bigger result. Obviously spurs kind of concede the go one all of that game so far quietly doing a lovely job easing himself into the role new and then they get hit with his three notify. us out. Ola goes came after tongue cod. Yeah i mean not existential. We talk about the first foul on wolf. Can i be honest with you. I reckon it wasn't the foul. Because basically i saw her dozen for speed on the outside and he brings him down the may square up to each other. And i think that had enough i think he was. You can never tell what these things but maybe still quite a bit rattled because that was such an intense set to employers garate like that they were ready. Join each other and there's not often in most. These plays doing that like it. Feels like a kind of a phony war. You don't feel it's gonna become actually physical but with that like genuine animosity and when make a second foul a second yellow. It wasn't a dirty five. Felt like just mistimed but it felt like he was still like his blood was still up. Does that make sense. And it broke up in such a tight game the thing with palaces by one issue with them over the last couple has been does will fits all have like a reliable kind of rating partner as from deep saw house attack. But you feel like they've always needed that kind of dead. I finish now. They've if they've got another because they've pulled up a little bit routes while i was going to say on a gallagher man long ago he's been it's been superb and then edward on top of that two goals while after twenty seven seconds after coming on fastest privy league goalscoring debutante ranga unreal unreal. I control second touch. Finish is really really impressive. what What palestine spas now. It's one result Talk game it was a home all the rest of it but they have to call from. This really encouraging. The we've seen so many times before in any league how a reliable finish can just shoot you up the tape. And they could have something exciting head of them. I mean it's just you know sample size of one game. They could exciting compliments ahead. I think as it come back as well as some point the only in the league. They've only lost chelsea so far they always know against. Bradford was a They weren't. I don't think they were dreadful against chelsea on the first on the fest game. Season point. A west ham. I think based on west ham's fullness as in and actually the full at the beginning of this season as.

"Incentive for for grave belmont fall. I think with a lot of very nice to your brain. Get to a couple of them in a little bit there much a rising star performances over the weekend not one but two three year olds sprinters at ran one hundred fourteen buyers so that to me is is at least equal billing with the greatest things over the weekend. We're going to get to it after this message from kim. Take part in the keeneland november experience. This fall entry deadline for the keeneland november sale. Monday august second. Learn more at november dot keeneland dot com. Writers is brought to you farm and other honor for the country's top sires intimacy of the saratoga sires title run in that in the td throughout the meat. And you know it was probably a foregone conclusion that dan to mr. I want these because at the top of every one of these less but obviously a great honor to be the top shire at saratoga where everybody's winning all the all really expensive and well bred babies. Come out still is. There's nobody in his class. I think that's going to be the case for a little bit so If fourteen winners which uncle mall by one and this was the first has had those statistics in. It's obviously very interesting. very intriguing. Me a hit on at a really exciting winner. With tisza bob in the kentucky juvenile stakes at kentucky. Downs for kenny mcpeek phoenix thoroughbreds. He's a little bit of an under the radar radar turf. Fire can get some nice sources golden says you know another another horse that maybe doesn't get the top billing of his siren a couple of other spendthrifts The dow runners and he had the winner of the great to john. Navy steaks with going to vegas. He's the leading with crops sire this year and the first bolt door we've talked a lot about 'em he's got sixty seven yearlings at. Don't schedule to go through the ranga keeneland. September is is the sire of a one point four million dollar saratoga yearling already which is the highest price for a yearling this year. And don't forget about yaupon almost got his ear bitten off gonna stand at spendthrifts for the twenty twenty two breeding season. And he's going to go for. The brusca sprints at del mar after before retiring at european. And they're really stacking up those Potentially champion sprinter is expensive. is another one as komo is. I think it's going to be very very popular so lot. Lots of action for the rashtra only keeps rolling along normally. We wouldn't do a segment for just a couple of allowance winners on their own. But this was a weekend where you saw to at least two performances. That i think you're going to remember for a while. Especially if these horses go ought to do big things to three year olds sprinters in another subplot is just. This is probably the best class of printers. I've ever seen in my life. We saw jackie's worry in life is good go added a week ago. In the allan jerkins but this weekend yet to horses coming from totally different directions totally different purchase prices ran one hundred. Fourteen buyers wanted saratoga. And why del mar one. I think was a little bit more expectedly. Never expect the one hundred fourteen buyer out of anybody's flight line is just. He's honestly one of the most powerful loading horses. I've ever seen in my life and give a major congrats to a western and they got a ruling roof. You know watching this horse and having this for for the future in west point has a couple of other partners in summer. Win- klein on the source. Zena farm sheriff forgetting one of their partner but what an absolutely dynamic or is he is. And you know the i think the goal. I think they're being smart connections of john. Sadler being far not going to try to force him into one of the readers cup races. I think this is. This is the kind of horse that is gonna have a huge huge four year old season and also can possibly go further. He's only gone six furlong so far. I think he's got the reading obviously by tap into longer so i think it's smart for them to take it slow with him. The goal is going to be the malibu so the breeders cup and then try to make that a launch pad for an enormous four-year-old season because it talent is is actually generational. You just don't see. Horses run one all aid at tel mar and just run away from his other rivals. Stride by stride just wide with every strivings under very little urging. And i think he's gonna take the world by storm as a four year old if he can stay healthy Actually mind-blowing watch on sunday and as soon as he hit the gas. That race was over in the blink of an eye. You just don't see that on dirty that kind of turn of foot and it's just. It's just crazy to look at a horse's passer performances. Nc one five in one fourteen in their first two races. It just does not happen. And we're all fingers crossed that he'll stick around and stay healthy because he can be a once in a lifetime town. And i guess congratulations to west point never wages for for finding Biz Even if you had to spend one million dollars plenty of people spend a million dollars on horses and don't come up with horses like this for their entire lives but then the other side of it is a horse who could have been had for ten thousand dollars just a couple months ago in baby. Yoda he was debuted in ten thousand dollars maiden claimer off by ear nine lancs and is now also a potential superstar presented at saratoga on saturday and ran away to four and a quarter lengths. Victory is one hundred fourteen buyer. As well. And i think this is a very shrew private purchase by adam wachtel fell stables and those guys often allowance third at pimlico. They didn't buy him off the debut win. They bought him at least in terms of past. Performance is what they say. Maybe were in talks. After the debut went with the past performances day after the third he ran at emiko. That's pretty shrewd to be able to. You know follow through with that horse even after he didn't win so. This kind of illustrates the fact that a good horse can come from anywhere in this business. You pay a million dollars for one you can potentially fe. Whatever these guys aids you know couldn't have been a ton more than ten thousand dollars. He was he was up for in his debut and in both buyer figures make sense in terms of what the horses behind him run. So it's not as if you know it's one of these races where you see this horse explode into this figure that everybody beneath him also Needs a little dubious. These figures made. Says i i was blown away by both lumped especially line visually. What do you guys think about having this. These horses break like this and also just joining this monster monster. Three-year-old sprint ambition. Not all your both really good horses. Fascinating horses Particularly because their background and how they came from both sides of the tracks so to speak on flying has a clear path that he's because the malibu's skull out magic johnson others trying to find allowance race now In the only thing this isn't a not but is he perhaps want us forces. It's too fast zone good. I mean john sandler actually even kind of mentioned a little bit after his maiden win he didn't real back in a month and try to get them ready for something like the alan juergens when he said this horse ran so fast. I have to give more time but having said that i mean he has for horse has not even run into stakes race yet. He has as much potential as any horse. Any of us up seemed a long long time especially if he can stay healthy and if only law next year. I mean there's just you know you can't even into imagine on what i do. Now you guys are. Don is a pedigree expert. John who the heck is perspective. Sira baby yoga. Who stands for three thousand has chosen broke his maiden or ten thousand dollars out. He's a gelding. They're going to try to obviously get him into racist where they make a lot of money. But you know again things that you don't see happen you know a horse that won a starter allowance race. You talk about joe. He broke his maiden for ten runs in the start allowance wasted saratoga which is for orphan flavors and then come back and funds off the charts races. You know this is just i.

Twenty twenty one and i've got a bit of an update for everyone as in all things in life things can change. He's almost writers ship it out and then he gets phone call so going into this morning was all go. Go go full commander mode macgyver. Mode just figured out hard and fast. They could slow trying to get this thing shipped out later this week for projects like this. Have a lot of moving parts in the photographer. Run until. Tom has been delay. He won't make it into the field before the ice melts so the beaver cam won't see action just yet there will be no triumphant. Send up of all the gear at the end. Tom says it was disappointing to get that call but he was also relieved as an engineer. Any real funding through engineer. One wants to. I don't like that. I rushed the half the rush project. So when you get more time all the sudden you're like okay for something. I can go take an app. Okay great secondly. I can take time to work out all the problems okay. There was one upside since the bieber. Cam was delayed. I actually got to see it in person and there's really only one feature that dominate your attention the glass dome of the underwater housing the camera peering out. So this looks to me like a giant robot. I it's big black unblinking scary. This is big brother right. This is close enough. And that's an interest for now that unblinking robot is sits and tom's workshop waiting for its chance to capture beavers like. We've never seen him before. But already thomas. Dreaming up new uses for the beaver can for one he plans to reuse it with other photographers and other projects beyond beavers and he also sees some more possibilities to bring to life so with this. I can now sorry. This is all very exciting. My brain we could make a zoom call or like a video call conference call on his computer and then have the footage be direct from an underwater view of a beaver. That's right either. Lucien livestream straight from the dam. And maybe you would see us beaver swimming by or something like that crazy. I just thought about that. We're going to have to try this. And even though the beaver came as finished there's plenty of day-to-day craziness. He's also a one man. Help hotline for our photographers at anytime. He could get a call in the middle of the night from india or an update from exports stranded on an iceberg. So you know it's always exciting everyday is exciting match. "App Now to listen to the most recent episode of Michael to show it replays 24 7. So you have no excuse to miss anything the one or 2.5 the bone after real raw radio. No back to Roger and creepy on one or 2.5 the bone Roger JP show on the bone 807 71125 or 727579125. One hour or actually less than hour with us. We'll get to the top 10 list. Guys guess what's in the top 10 and tried it with a bounty prize coming up. That coming up. Just came up on the story about this woman who and this is the definition of schmuck. Ary. Yeah. So she decided she went to the zoo. She went to the zoo and El Paso, Texas. She went to the El Paso soon and she decided to, you know, hop in with some of the monkeys. Another person doing this kind of stuff. Spider monkeys. Exactly. Oh, you don't wanna get in there with Spider marks because she wanted to feed them Flaming hot Cheetos. Whatever it is, so this is a big party. So bread posted the The video on the Roger and JP Facebook page. If you want to go check that out. So this one Decided to jump in there. So the guy from the zoo was saying quote this young lady decided to hop a fence. Climb through some bushes. Drop down into a four FT deep mope moat. Walk across the moat and then tried to feed the spider monkeys. Flaming hot Cheetos. Furthermore, the zookeeper said, In addition, the spider monkeys with threatened since they have a strict diet than any through in that the monkeys can get infected with Kovar 19 from a trespasser quote these primates these are primates were talking about they could do some substantial damage. You said they may be small monkeys, but they could take you to the ground if they wanted to, but they could not happy. Let's see. How does she think that flaming hot Cheetos a good idea from monkeys? They're fun. That doesn't mean they like spicy stuff. Listen, the only thing that the only thing that would make sense here is and I've had a lot of my friends, take a handful of mushrooms and go to the zoo. You know, there's something about tripping out and seeing like monkeys throw that poop around that could be quite entertaining. That would be the only thing that made sense here. But here's the cool part of the story. She worked at a law firm. They fired her. Now I don't understand what this behavior has to do with your work behavior. Me kind of this sounds like a legal, but it says she works for the Lovett law firm. They released a statement and then there's a killer line in this statement. You know, Quote we learned this morning that the individual who was filmed trespassing in the Spider monkey enclosure of the El Paso Zoo was an employee of loving law firm she has been terminated. The firm has always been a strong supporter of animals and animal advocacy. We absolutely do not condone this irresponsible and reckless behavior. We support his line. We support the El Paso Zoo and our thoughts go out to the Spider Monkeys, Libby and Sunday. Those are the names of the monkeys, and we hope they will recover from this very traumatic experience. It's kind of where this that you're fired. And now here's a joke. That's kind of how they did it that way. I don't think they did. It was a joke. That really value her very much. I think they're they're dead, serious where they will, You know, thoughts and prayers go out to the Libyan Sunday, the two I thought that was funny. Maybe because she's a lawyer. They have Maybe not real don't know tolerance, actually breaking a law of any sort. You know, I don't know if they hold that up for speeding, But then they just get ready for doing something stupid is that And then the article goes on to buy Compare this to and it's only just about five years since Haram me What had to be assassinated. They used the phrase assassinated by the way, Yeah, for Haram Bay. Yeah. I was like one of the first things like that that happened. And now, for whatever reason, people climb into animal enclosures and way too often. I don't get it and I root against them Everything nice. I saw the video of her in there. She's like, really relaxes hanging out feeding them one Cheeto Cheeto only thing that would make sense, if is, if she was on hallucinogenic to really realize that's the only thing that makes any sense. Yeah. It's dumb. Really dumb in and especially remember that news story of the lady who had a pet Now it wasn't a spider monkey. But you can understand that where they could go the pet monkey they like, and they ate her face. You know, Face your friend's face. You're rightfully owned. It was a friend. You're Ranga tank. She had a better ranga tank, and it was in Connecticut and her friend came over and the the Iraqi tank mold her face She ended up having to get a face transplant. But she looks nothing whole life was. I mean, if you wonder what kind of damage primates could do I mean, this wasn't what you were going. This is that was in a situation where you were rooting against the woman. She just went to go to her friend's house. You know, and the friend, I guess thought that having a Ranga Tang was not a you know, wild animal or whatever it was, But it is if you had about flaming hot Cheetos on a hot meter. How hot are they? Call. Inflaming literally flaming, huh? Not so much the heat. It's just take that I don't like him like a You're like a bunch of kids love him. I don't know. Alright. Oh, yeah, I like him. You know, you always just I don't know. You hang on one word and then tried Torto dissect a mistake's somebody makes anyways. You know, you know how it is. I wish he would have given me an example of when I've done that, because I don't do that with with Joe Biden. As I said, before you can mock him. You can laugh at him. You can laugh at his gaps. He's a mistake's All that stuff doesn't matter. What matters are the policies. The policies are hard left. And I never expected him to last even until the mid terms in the first place, and they don't give a damn whether not he lasts. Because in the Wings, of course, is Kamila Harris, who has the most left wing voting record in the Senate. Even more left wing Debray Sanders. Journalist In Myanmar Recounts Ongoing Military Coup
"No one quite expected them to do it. That's what a journalist says in Myanmar after a military coup. The armed forces have never been fully out of power in that country. But in 2015, they allow democratic elections won by the party of Aung San Souci. She had received a Nobel Prize for her decades long fight for democracy, including years under arrest. The military's partial retreat allowed me and Marta and its global isolation. Then this week, the military retook full power and on sans Souci is detained again. Parts of the Internet are blocked and Myanmar but we reached journalist Amen Thon and Yangon, which is a city of some five million. There's a curfew union go on at 8 P.m.. Every night, People have been going on to the bathroom ease or outside to the front of their homes and banging pots and pans. It's a traditional Berman's ritual to get rid of evil spirits in your house every night. It's been getting louder and longer, and you could just hear the sound echoing through the city. We should remind people that the coup was over and election result in November and had been feared for some time. Was there a great deal of suspense in recent months? Not really. But it wasn't a complete surprise, but no one quite expected them to do it. People assume that that this was, you know, posturing and threats. But you know, leading up to the last couple days before the coup. There were some really alarming pictures of a tank in London, as well as unusual movements by the military near military installations throughout man lost Even then, people didn't really think they would actually do a real coup. What did you hear from people when it became clear that it really was a co was quite a lot of despair. I think, especially for people of my parent's generation, so people the fifties and sixties and older, I think they just didn't expect it. You know, they worshiped essentially insensitivity all their lives, and I think they had a really difficult time really coming to terms that they hadn't won after all in 2015. I'd like you to explain that perspective because some Americans who follow events from Myanmar maybe only know Aung San Souci as a civilian leader who failed to condemn Genocide of Ranga in Myanmar. What was it that she has done over the last decades that made her someone that they would feel so strongly about? Sure, if you're just having a conversation here, and someone talks about a May your mother They're often talking about her. I grew up in the US, but our house is covered with pictures apparently had annual calendars that have her picture in it. Ah, lot of people breathing really admire her. They see her. Someone who wants she was young woman came back to me in life, despite the fact that she was living a perfectly lovely life in the U. K to take care of her ailing mother. And then stepped up when she could have left in order to fight for the Burmese people. And then decided instead of being with her family to stay in your more and you know people respect that. You're referring to the period after she won an earlier election in the 19 eighties, and it was not accepted by the military, which kept her In prison or in house arrest for many years. Yeah, for 15 years. She basically was in a position where the military said If you want to leave, you can leave. But if you want to be here, you won't be free. Other than climbing the pots and pans at eight o'clock each evening. What are people doing about the coup? There's been a lot of online organizing. There's a couple hashtags feeling around hash tag, civil disobedience movement as well as hashtag justice from you more But part of the civil disobedience movement is doctors and teachers, the majority of whom here work for government institutions essentially going on the strike doctors, especially since Cove, it Still providing medical care, but they just simply choosing not to do it. Government institutions. If I may, there could be some severe consequences for that. Yes, definitely. I don't think we're talking enough about this yet, but It's quite likely that we're going to see a spike in cold cases. What do you expect Ng over the next few days? I'm expecting just more of a reaction to the growing protest movement. There's been what seems to be Very clearly this information campaigns that are intended to kind of paralyzed people through fear and the lack of knowledge, But we're also starting to see more and more people going out into Streets to protest. Amen. Thon is a journalist who is in Yangon. Thank you. Okay.

"Disobedience, and the Reuters news agency is reporting from Yangon, the sounding of vehicle horns and pans being struck. In protest at the military coup. Well, they went Security Council will later today be discussing the military coup in me and Mark Britain, which currently holds the presidency of the council. Says his members will be looking at the long term threats to peace and security. But China also remember the permanent five on the council and closely linked to the military in Myanmar said it hoped any move would be conducive to the stability of Myanmar. Rather than making the situation more complicated. Bob Ray is Canada's ambassador to the U. N and the country's formal special envoy to Myanmar. Personally his thoughts on what's been happening in the country. I think it's kind of a repeat performance. The Constitution that the Military imposed on the public in 2008. After the military been in power for many, many decades. Allowed them to basically maintain a veto over everything. And also put them in a position of control over a great part of the country in a great many departments, so I don't think anybody should be shocked by what's happened. It doesn't mean it's right. It's deplorable. But in North America we're celebrating today. February 2nd is Ground Hog day, and you have to say this is a little bit like ground Hog day things. Keep repeating over and over again. There's been Lot of returns of the military and coups in being mar over many, many, many decades. And this is a repeat pattern. I'm afraid you sound somewhat philosophical. And yet it is an end for the moment anyway to mere Mars Democratic experiment. I don't think it's an end. I don't think it's an end of tall. I think what it reveals is that the fight for democracy in Myanmar is going to be very tough because of the power of the military. I think on some Souci after a long period and under house arrest and was sort of the leaders of the movement because of her iconic status in the country, is the daughter of the founder of the country, ironically, also the founder of the Army. I think that she made a calculation that she could, by virtue of power personality. Make change happen. They part of this this process of compromise with the military. But this is not a military that compromises easily a readily so I'm by no means think it's over. I'm in fact, one of those people who thinks that the fight for democracy has just begun. So in the short term, though, is there any prospect off reversing this coup through international pressure and specifically through the U. N Security Council when it meets later today? Well, I think the challenge of the Security Council would be that there are two countries with the veto China and Russia. That are essentially authoritarianism their orientation. China, in particular has acted as a kind of protector for me and mar, preventing the Security Council from doing very much passing any real serious resolutions or imposing any international embargoes, although there are a lot of coordinated boycotts by Western countries. But the hard reality is that China is is the neighbor and is in a much stronger position financially and geographically. To exercise leverage over me and bar than Western countries. But I do think that what will emerge from this discussion today is a clear sense of lines being drawn. It's the best we can do right now, but it's not the end of story. So in the absence of any immediate action by the U. N Security Council. That leaves bilateral action from Western governments, and unlike the United States, Canada has maintained Previous sanctions against men Mar. But that's risky, isn't it in terms of damage to the Burmese population? Yeah, we've targeted our sections. We have not stopped flowing development aid. We have not had a general overall economic boycott Part of the problem with the boycott again as the boycotts work only when they're universal, and even then it's it takes a long time for them to really have an impact. I think what's missing from the equation of your question is domestic opinion and feeling and movements inside Myanmar. I think the global community. The West, for example, could do some things. I think there's ways in which we can exercise some leverage. But what will really turn the tide, I think is What extent is the public and me? And we are prepared to really respond to the requests for among subs hoochie that they actively resist what is a coup. You referred L Iran to accent so cheese previous status says, and I'd come. But you must think also that her international reputation is certainly being tarnished. I had defense solve the military during its murderous campaign against revenge of Muslims in reclined state. Absolutely. I agree with you completely. And I certainly was one of those in my report that I put out in 2000 and 18. Was very clear about the serious compromise position which she was in. I was present at your presentation at the International Court in The Hague on the Ranga genocide. Canada's now intervening in that case, along with the Dutch, I must say I was appalled at her defense of the military and at her arguments. Yes, sir. International reputation in the West. Has been not just tarnished, but I think it's been profoundly affected. But that doesn't mean that she's not popular inside her own country. She is I think we should not underestimate The resilience of the people and, frankly, the power of scrutiny, which is dramatically transformed since 2000 and eight That was a Bob Ray, Canada's ambassador to the U. He came to in the middle of the desert stripped naked and barefoot under the harsh Sun which bonus fact bombards Australia with more UV rays and other continents because of the whole meal zone layer. Mcgee had nothing not even a notion of which way to go waiting for help to find him seemed fruitless so he began to walk each morning. He told himself today was the day today. He would see a house or town. At least erode he could follow each day ended the same as the day before there was one ameliorating factor in his situation. The rainy season had just ended and there was water to be found. He found a decent size waterhole and began to try to make shelter one week had ticked by before food in the form of a lizard crossed. Mcgee's path he was able to catch and kill it with his bare hands. Laying the meat out in the sun to dry McGee's diet was made up of anything that walked crawled or slithered past him lizards snakes grasshoppers bugs and even leeches after his ordeal. Mcgee said that the Leeches weren't bad but you had to eat them quickly otherwise they'd attached to the inside of your mouth. He also eight any plant that passed a taste test which is not strictly speaking the best way to find non poisonous plants but he got lucky. His Diet was diverse. But not plentiful calories were thin on the ground no pun intended dingoes have begun prowling around trying to decide if he was meet yet starving weakening and beginning to despair mcghie fashioned across for the top of his shelter. It seemed likely that the shelter would become his casket but he managed to stay alive when he'd been carjacked. Mcgee weighed two hundred thirty three pounds or about one hundred and five kilograms when the jackaroo found him he only weighed a hundred pounds or forty five kilograms but he was alive. He managed to keep himself going alone in the desert for seventy one days in what his rescuers described as one of the most isolated places in Australia. Mcgee was flown to the Royal Darwin Hospital where medical staff described as a but well hydrated a credit to his decision to stay at the waterhole police and the media were initially suspicious of McGee's story assuming that his previous minor drug offence must have meant he'd been up to dirty deals with dirty dealers and that's how he ended up stranded. His stolen car never turned up. Which would have helped his story. Mcgee even offered to eat a frog on live. Tv BUT THANKFULLY BUSH. Survival experts weighed in that his story was plausible. So no more frogs for Ricky. Mcgee water kept Ricky McGee alive but it was nearly the death of Jose Alvarenga a man who would probably rather not hold the record for the longest time spent adrift at Sea alone in November. Twenty Fifteen Alvarenga. And please forgive me. If at some point ISLIP and say Alvarez it's almost guaranteed to happen was getting his gear together for a thirty hour deep sea fishing trip off the coast of Costa Zule Mexico. His quarry were sharks. Marlins and sailfish expensive fish. That would hopefully give him an edge over his competition. The trip didn't get off to a promising. Start WHEN ALVAREZ. Usual partner backed out at the last minute and he took on a less experienced. Fishermen named Ezekiel Cordova that he'd never even spoken to before that day but he figured it was a short trip so everything would be OK on. November seventeenth the pair. Sit Out on a twenty four foot fiberglass. Gif small was boats go with fishing gear a radio an enormous cooler. That would soon be almost overloaded with fish just a few hours into their journey though a storm world and it stayed for five days. They had to dump their catch to lighten the boat. So it'd be more maneuverable. Alvarenga tried to steer the boat back to shore but he couldn't see where the shore was in the pounding rain and the little ship didn't have. Gps when the storm finally cleared the men found that the motor was gone as was most of the fishing here and the electronics were all badly damaged unlike the passengers of the SS minnow. Who took all of their belongings on a three hour cruise Alvarenga and Cordova had only a day's worth of food and water. There was enough charge in the backup battery of the two way radio for Ranga to get a mayday message out. But he couldn't tell us potential rescuers where he was because he simply didn't know what part of the seemingly endless Pacific Ocean they were in the search teams had tried to look for them but the rain had made it impossible. There was no way to know how long they would be out there. So the men turned to the sea for survival. Alvarenga was able to catch fish turtles and seabirds with his bare hands. Though Cordova was basically useless. In those efforts the turtles were lucky. Catch their meat is actually rich in vitamin C. Which prevented the men from developing scurvy? They collected rainwater when there was rain to collect but otherwise had to hydrate themselves with a mixture of turtle blood and urine there. You're in the sun rose and set dozens of times but the flat horizon of the ocean remained. Unbroken

Orangutans Plan For The Future
"When you think of Tarzan, I'm guessing you usually imagine him swinging on vines through the jungle letting out a wild yell as he swoops from tree to tree, that's the typical scenario at least. But did you know that this idea of jungle traveling primate hollering as he ventures through the forest actually has some basis in reality? And that the hollering really does mean something a group of scientists working in Indonesia, followed several Rangoon's through the jungle focusing attention on flange males, the dominant fellows with the big cheek pads emit spontaneous long calls at various points each day. The researchers recorded detailed information about the animals travel routes and also their vocal activity by comparing the direction each Rangan faced when making a long call to the direction. He ended up traveling next the scientists discovered the purpose of all that hollering the Iran Gitanes leading. Their neighbors know their plans, you see female Aranka towns like to keep an earshot of the most macho males in the area to seek them out as mates subordinate males on the other hand like to steer clear. Everyone listens for the long calls to find out where the big dudes are headed and just their own routes accordingly. The last long call of the evening is especially telling it indicates the flange males plans for the next day. This discovery is exciting because it indicates for the first time that a Ranga towns in the wild or capable of long-term planning. Plus, I guess it shows that just like Tarzan they wanna make sure Jane won't lose them. This moment of science comes from Indiana University.
