"I'm john and ken show john and ken she can't. Am six forty live everywhere on the iheartradio app thing. Welcome everybody. we'll get to. Afghanistan is situation is still a mess there particularly around the airport at kabul which is the capital a lot of people trying to get out including americans and the taliban as that thing guarded all the latest including a new to view from today. Joe biden did go on good morning america in god little testy when he was asked a simple question did not go well. The us withdrawal. That will come up a little later on the hour. We have another opportunity right now. To talk to congressman. Tom mcclintock california's fourth congressional district. A longtime legislator in sacramento. He moved over to get a congressional seat in. It's held onto it for years republican. We talked to him on a number of issues. What got us our attention. This time were the fires and in particular how they're handled when they occur on federal forest lands. And what does the. Us forest service do in terms of trying to put them out quickly or letting them burn. This is a subject of an l. a. times story recently. So let's bring tom on talk about this. The recall and more. Tom how are you just fine. Thanks guys the it seems the fire service vacillates over the years between shutting down the fire as quickly as possible. They used to have a saying that. Get it done by ten tomorrow morning. And then they go the other direction. Let it burn. Let's see what happens. Whoa that's exactly right. It was the height of the environmental extremist movement in the nineteen seventies They adopted this maximum. That fire can be our friend. It's a natural part of the forest. It cleans up all of the duffin deadwood and makes things all pretty again And that was a policy that has been an absolute disaster is is they allowed so many small fires to become mega-fires. Most recent was in my district. The tamarack where they sat on a quarter acre fire. That was smoldering smoldering for a week and a half sent helicopters over it every day to take pictures never bothered to do single water drop on it and after about a week and a half it exploded took out seventy thousand acres And to his credit the new chief of the forest service randy moore who is a californian has At least suspended that policy for now is aggressively attacking fires but this business of monitoring a fire under conditions like this. That's like monitoring a rattlesnake quote up in your bedroom because he's not doing much of anything you don't monitor that you kill it. Yeah i i don't understand. This is why. I'm so disdainful of experts in just about everything It seems watching a fire. Burn like you said in. These kind of conditions can only end up being a disaster. Of course it's gonna burn downtown's more me you go ahead. I was gonna say. I was told me. Look all of that. Excess timber will come out of the forest one way or another. It either is carried out or it burns out now. If you leave it to mother nature she will burn out You know you go back to pre columbian times in california. We lost between four and twelve million acres a year to catastrophic fire and untended forest is just like untended garden it will grow and grow until it chokes itself to death it will ultimately fall prey to disease pestilence drought and ultimately be consumed by catastrophic wildfire..

In fact, there was a survey done by the by the American Chamber of Commerce in China last month. Where where they really get 20% of the company's thie Chinese American table of commerce over personal companies that are doing business. In China. American companies doing business in China formed a chamber of commerce. And they did a survey and they 20% of the company's had plans to bring manufacturing back to give man So given that would manufacturing jobs. Would that be starting from scratch type of thing in your mind? Or is it Ah, businesses that are already up and rolling? Are seeing the shift and I'm going to start bringing jobs back like, you know, used to manufacture here, Send it overseas. Now the tables are turning, so I'm just going to bring it Bring it back home. Yes. Of the 20% 20% that they surveyed, I believe are the ones that are already manufacturing. And they moved the jobs to China. Another moving the back but companies like us where we're starting our battery great material company. We're going to be starting from scratch and start, you know, Standing it up new Eso again. Go ahead. No, I was just finishing their there. So there's some of each of the what you're talking about. Yeah s o. I mean, given all that manufacturing is in a huge part of the U. S economy if it gets going to that. You know those kind of jobs that are created? I mean, are those you know again living wage jobs. Are they lower in jobs or they jobs that have ah lot of high end potential. I think they're more more of the high end potential or certainly a good living wage. You know that the touch labour where people were building things completely by hand. You know those jobs. I think that those jobs probably will stay in China until they could be automated and brought home. No, the jobs that we're talking about, require a higher degree of automation again. And so you've got you've got have workers who can can Run the machines who can feed the machines, the material that they need. Who could do the planning around around? You know the workflow So they're more of what you were doing what you would consider to be Your high end blue collar jobs. Not so much the touch labour. So if you're talking about that, then let's say I've got you know young people in my house, maybe a junior high early high school. If this is a trend that's going to continue. We're heading this way on DH. You know, maybe my kids have already expressed like, you know, I really don't want to go to college. What would be the kinds of things they should be studying? Looking at? Doing to prepare for careers and because it sounds like those jobs would be good. I mean, is it logistics? Does it go to the the tech school on DH Learn howto, you know, be a plumber or an electrician's or those kinds of things. What should they be working on and looking at as lines of education right now? So so, uh, CNC controls a lot of control jobs. Where your programming the robots that do the work. Um you know those kind of jobs and those who trade school jobs? They're they're not college. You don't need a college degree to do those jobs. You know, you get that skill. A lot of employers, including us, you were hiring People and training them how to how to run these machines. But anything in robotics anything in in terms of the CNC skills, computer numeric control. Skills. That's all very important Also, you know, program management and logistics. Those air those air skills that that Again. You know you picked these up in trade schools where you picked them up on the job. We hire a skilled and trained for for the skills sounds. Sounds like incredible opportunities. Air coming our way, Randy. Great stuff. Thank you very much for the visit this morning, Randy Moore. He works in the field of battery production, but also as an advocate for made in America. And again. It sounds like you're manufacturing jobs are going to be coming back, and there's gonna be plenty of opportunity to work in those fields, Randy, thanks 7 18 Two minutes will update traffic and weather couple of quickies before we get there. Supreme Court just made a ruling on the role of the Electoral college. The court ruled unanimously that states can legally punish So called faithless electors who cast their vote for someone other than the States Popular vote winner. In 2016 10 out of 538 electors went rogue, including three votes for Colin Powell. One vote for John Kasich, all in States, one by Hillary Clinton. So Supreme Court says should not to do that should not to do it. Publisher Simon and Schuster says it's going to hit print on the purported tell all by President Donald Trump's niece two weeks early. The announcement comes just short of a week after New York State Supreme Court overturned an injunction against the publisher. Restraining order still exists against married Trump. However, the book describes the president as a damaged and legally flawed man who threatens the world's health, economic security and social fabric. Simon and Schuster say they've already printed 75,000 copies, and they're going to get him out there as quick as they can. According to a Page six report this morning, Jeffrey Epstein, confidante Dillane Maxwell will be out. Will be outing rather some famous and powerful people following her arrest last week, former Epstein business associate telling Page six she's going to be naming big names, many of whom abused underage girls at Epstein's parties. Another predicted Maxwell won't be ableto handle jail and will immediately start talking to try and get out of it. Some famous names already attached to Epstein, Prince Andrew Bill Clinton and Victoria's secret founder Les Wexner. White House chief of staff Mark Meadows Monday previewed a slew of expected presidential executive orders intended to further addressed the Corona virus crisis and its economic impact sneak preview here. We're going to be looking at how them we can make sure that China is addressed to bring manufacturing back from overseas. Make sure American workers air supported or also going to look at a number of issues as it relates to immigration. We're going to look at a number of issues as it relates to prescription drug prices, and we're going to get them done when Congress could not CNN reporting. Meadows has confirmed that Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin will continue to lead negotiations of another potential cove in 19 stimulus package. So all of that is on the 7 20 right now. A little cloudy out my window. Let's get enough data on traffic and weather together now started off with Johnny Hill. A little.

"This morning News radio 6 10 W TV, and we're still getting our job's done and doing it socially distanced Johnny Hill, our traffic manager. Johnny's been working from home literally since the middle of March on, it seems to suit him. I mean, he's one of those guys that works a split. He does traffic in the morning and afternoon, so he's saving that commute time. It's working out well and His information is good from home as it is from here, so I think he's going to stay Put. Sports director Matt McCoy, home for about six weeks is coming back to the radio station now, but it's kind of sequestered in his own little space. Over in the corner of the big newsroom course. Scott Jennings is handling news duties and you know, in our complex we have a news booth, a studio where he can work camp who's producing this show has his own room and then I have my own room. So again, we're about a socially distanced as it gets our office staff. Our sales staff are still working from home. And you know, it's funny. You don't know if it's ever going to come back. You don't know if you know what used to be normal will ever come back around because it seems like everything's working. You know, you've got zoom meetings. You've got two computers that can talk. Literally get everything done. You need to get done. You don't have to be sitting in the office to do your job anymore. So will those people ever come back? Don't know. Don't know if that'll ever go. I mean in my mind for a while, I thought maybe you know, like half the staff comes in on Mondays and Wednesdays have to staff on Tuesdays and Thursdays and everybody works from home on Friday, but I don't even know if that's necessary anymore. I mean, I just don't know if the Tuesday, 9 30 meeting. Has much import as it used to be. You can do it via zoom. You could do it on whatever platform you do, and it seems like everybody's getting along. So hopefully things air choking back to life in your life as well worth 709 a great pleasure to welcome Randy Moore to the live line. Randy is I understand that you're an advocate for made in America Jobs. How did you get to this point your life? What? What is it about made in America Jobs? It really kind of get your daughter up. I've been doing. I've been manufacturing for almost close to 40 years now. And I've been seeing these jobs, you know, move offshore for most of her most of my life and Now there's an impetus to secure our supply chain because of what happened with covert 19. Businesses are starting to see disruptions in their supplies. You'll actually even consumers. You walk through a department store now and you see shells that air sparsely, you know, the inventory levels have dropped so much. There's a lot of things missing. You know a lot of empty cubicles in the stores and And and and it's also watching and so the in order to get our supply chain back are to secure it. We've got to get some more control over it. And things need to be a little more local than they were. You know my business what I'm doing now, You know, I've been doing mostly aerospace and defense manufacturing for most of my life and one of doing now batteries. And so most batteries. Ah, lead acid batteries are manufactured local And it's just a weight thing. I mean, you know, you could imagine shooting these thing Go allover the place with the weight of lead. But listen, Ryan changing that because the mind is lighter. On blue. C'mon, can't you know they're they're shipping restrictions on the environment. In terms of most of them have to come by. Come by come by ship, but almost all of them are made in Asia. And specifically in China. So bringing that bringing some of that manufacturing back. We are making nickel, zinc batteries and our nickel all comes through China. So we're in the process now ourselves, standing up a small factory that will supply ourselves with our nickel, nickel hydroxide. So as I listen to you talk, Randy. It sounds to me like you're less concerned about cost and you're more concerned about security Is that fair? It is, but I'll tell you this that things have changed No. One when, when manufacturing jobs. Started going to China. It was because of the vast difference in labor costs between United States and China. Sure know the playing field starting to level. Now there is a middle class in China that's developing that's that's demanding a living wage. So the cost of labor is going up. Automation. You know, That's one factor. The second factor. Automation has increased to the point that there's a lot left. Low level labor in many and most products, But but and and so when you factor in the third factor, and that's transportation It costs you could actually meet or beat the cost of goods coming out of China. Now. Not not no, not all cases, but certainly in ours. We look at our nickel hydroxide. We think we can lower the cost of our nickel hydroxide by about asked And that's that's fundamentally a part of the three factors that I just mentioned. His costs are going up. The automation is improving that the labor content and third is transportation, but four Is 1/4 factor that's actually playing at and that is tryingto. When China focuses on a on a product, they do it to dominate, and they do it and they do it to dominate, and they drive everyone else out of the business after they've driven everyone else out of the business. Slowly raised their prices. You know they can go the only there. They only showed they had only show a tab. So so combine all those factors that you compete the prices of of many.

earlier on he was actually confronted out in public when after he was he was not practicing social distancing also he was was diagnosed with corvette nineteen and apparently took hydroxy Cork win but now he's been criticizing president trump for taking it so president trump's press secretary Kaylee McEntee tore him apart with this quarter note saying the president knows that hydroxy for Clint is not supported by science he knows it has been flying flying by his own people and he's using it will follow mocked the president for this an interestingly I found this out just before coming here hydroxy floor clean of course is an FDA approved medication with a long proven track record for safety and it turns out Chris Cuomo took a a less safe version of it called quinine which the FDA removed from the market in two thousand six because it it's serious side effects including deaths are really interesting to have that criticism of the president on that note to Chris Cuomo I'd like to re directed to his brother the governor of New York governor Cuomo who has several on the record statement about hydroxy floor clan saying I'm an optimist I'm hopeful about the drug and that's why I "You can balance the you can you can level the playing field and we can bring back manufacturing back to America the end of the day I got one final point here and then I'll let you go to the American people as consumers we play a role in this too right because if you go to the store and no matter what product it is if it's made in China and the chances are it's cheaper you know a lot of times that controls people's decision in their pocketbook and I'm not saying that you know if if the product is twice as much but we have to kind of we we as a people have to buy American to write to salute easy thing and I've had this discussion over the last couple weeks even with a lot of my contemporaries and and is that people that I work with and and that is you know when you go to the store you can look at the label and if it says made in China you could buy and forms of social problem is that when you get down one level inside the product the product can be made in USA but if all of the ingredients are imported from China you still got the same problem and there's no visibility into that except through the manufacturers who got their god like us and we have to them make those decisions not the consumer we have to make those decisions the third we're going to value US production we're gonna value the security of our supply chain over the extra nickel a proper we can make this month discourse all right great stuff there from Randy Moore and advocate for made in America jobs as well as president and CEO of staff energy systems Sunday six back will get you an update on what the mother's day forecast is more on that next newsradio six ten WTVN I heart radio goes one on one with Jason now dean to talk about working in the studio I like going in the studio to record new records I don't I don't love shot myself in the.

"Join us at twelve twenty the latest Bryce Harper rumor is that he's going to be on the cover of MLB the show, and that's how they're going to repeal me. Like, the hall of fame plaque platform. Mike be seen it with. No name on it. No logo. So that's what they would do for a mobile. Could. I mean, who knows whatever sign is that come out usually comes out relatively soon. But it's all a rumor, nobody knows I think we're also desperate for information about Bryce Harper. Manny Machado that we're looking for any kind of sign that something's got they even existed. I mean, it's like you don't even you don't hear anything. It's nothing. And what's so weird about it is you know, guys like Ernie and Tommy Louis our in the back. We're always starting to think not only about fantasy. But baseball season, the super bowl's kind of that same mainly Machado is one of these keepers. Manny Machado could very well. Be put back in the draft. Where have the number one overall pick right where he goes? We'll have a big impact on some decisions. Like if maybe Machado signs in San Diego, Ernie's dot keeping so already can't sleep at night. Nobody should be allowed to keep Padres. I'm sure Ernie sweeping this many things get less leaving for other reasons. I think I get summit. Even as a fan of a team. That's not gonna get Bryce Harper many Machado, right? You're signings are gonna have a big impact on the Mets because likely one if not both will sign him in one is going to be a Philly. I mean, I really think one of those guys is affiliate agree. It would be a massive disappointment. The owner said they want to spend. Not ended up like the wilpon. Different kinds of student. Yes. They signed Justin Wilson they supposed to be very happy. Jed lower you. Come on. Yeah. It's been nice soft. It's been a decent season. Yes. Isos Ravi Canadian sign know as a trade. But the as Yep. Any Yankee fans are still holding out hope that the Yankees will Yankee and sign one of these. I think that's what's gonna be Philly wanna be really you still think. Yes. Bet on that. I would do that. Yeah. I take the opposite. I don't think he's excited either. I can't start the seasonal till Lewitt's gets shortstop goes. Well, you could move glacier too short and play DJ you second. There you go. You just start. You didn't start with Lewinsky. Yes. And you know, what trimming get through spring training said happen. You never know. Let's go to Dan in Redding, Connecticut. Hey, dan. Hi, dan. How you doing? Because what I am going to ask you a question. The other day you mentioned Royal rumble. Yes. Can you hear me? Okay. Yeah. We hear you fine. Yes. All right. You know what I'm sorry. What did you know? Wrestling's fakey said Joe that's not true. What does he talk? Yeah. Mighty deal. Yes. No kit. So I'm excited about the game coming up because you have the pass rushers in what rockers what's the other guy? Aaron donald. Yeah. And I think get any time and everyone knows this. But those those pass rushers I don't know what their percentages. I'm not into the percentage. But I think they're leaving the league and coming up in the middle. We come at the middle and Brady you can't throw unlike Aaron Rodgers who can peel out Brady just crumble. Gives him a lot of credit which actually drive me crazy because you got catching his passing with Adam. Tom Brady is getting credit. Come on come on stop. You know, what I mean is I'm sorry. What I mean is is the fact that he has these receivers like I'm a giants fan. I have Odell Beckham. Spectacular catches. But I would take a, you know, a HOGAN or amendola just any day. Not come on. I'll tell you right now. I really believe this. If you put a Jillian adamant on another team. I don't think Cattlemen's anywhere near the guy. He's in England. Now, that's just me. Look, they have a great day gets rid of the football quickly. He's not doing bombs down the field. Get touched most of the time either. Right. And he's writing dance. I point is spot on fresh up the middle against Tom Brady, we've seen what's happened super three Super Bowls. They lost every one of them. They got pressure. I mean, certainly the two giant Wednesday loss and last year. The biggest play the game was that strip sack that sealed the victory. Yeah. But to to kinda I know he tried to walk back taking a shot at Brady, but sort of attorney was shot Brady. Anyway, he almost implied that the receivers make Tom Brady Tom Brady makes the receiver. Stop it. There's been so many different guys from David givens to Dion branch. The Randy Moore's The Danny amendola. We could go on and on with all the guys these ads wide receivers, you know, Juliet element Wes Welker all the different. Guys. He's ad. Yeah. I mean, come on. No kidding. I have to say this just in case TASR is listening because TASR gets mad at everybody. Endless? Wrestling is not fake. It's scripted. Okay. Because you can't tell a guy like passage fake will show you all the bumps and bruises on his body fake and the hill like destroy you'll put you in like, a choke hold the Taza mission. If you will. So it is scripted. It's not fake Taza. You're listening who looks out for you, bro. There you go Paul Kings Park. Hi, paul. Paul. Hi, I'm very good. Thanks for taking my call. Anytime. You guys were talking about Oscar Robertson and Corinne, and we'll get in traded. And I thought the most interesting thing about that was going back to those times only a handful of players had the juice to actually get a trade that they want it. You know, I mean nowadays with free agency. It's a whole different ballgame. But I also think going back to Kareem I think the NBA probably was afraid that he might go to the ADA or something like that. I think that was a possibility now, I just think and there's a great documentary that if you get a chance. You gotta see it in. I mentioned this to you. It's called Kareem Abdul Karim Kareem might not minority of one. Yes. And it is a fat. I watched it about two weeks ago. I mean, it is unbelievable. I mean, it covers everything from the from the days when he was in high school of pow memorial right on through, you know, I think it was maybe whenever it was three years ago. Maybe they put the documentary out, whatever. And it covers everything that it was never thought he was going through the thought that wasn't even mentioned about that. The only thought of him going to the and I'm familiar with this. Because of the obvious of what I'm about to say is that the New York nets drafted him in the draft and thought they were gonna sign him. They thought Lew Alcindor was coming to the aviator play for the New York nets. And they just too low bid. He would have paid with Julius. Yeah. He would eventually would've played right? Because at the time. Virginia Squires Virginia who maybe the goes enforced that train maybe everything could be different. But the nets apparently negotiated. They they made an offer. And it wasn't enough and good for him. He said, okay. Well, then I'm not going there. You would have thought he picked the nets, and that's your New York team. But he specifically wanted to go to LA he played college basketball. There you loved L A. You know, he talked about that in his documentary. How much he loved the at UCLA? It was a different world than New York. Obviously for a lot of reasons and. Milwaukee was kind of a kind of a strange place for him. Well, he requested a trade to the Knicks or the Lakers and the Lakers ended up making. Nobody did include the Knicks. Remember that? I remember I read about that. I'll say it wasn't alive at the time. I read a lot about him. And was the net thing how pitting, Dan. Oh my God. Life would have been different the difference. Your and that when he asked to get out he requested New York or LA, which is funny to think about how similar the world is. So here's Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Louisville center saying small market team. I'd like to leave you trade me to New York. Right. Right. So what's different? Now. The one different is. I don't think he had the power to really force it before. Whatever reason maybe, you know, better than I would the buck said, okay, why they said, okay? Well, I mean, I just think the they knew he wanted out, and it kind of had rented cost there. Anyway, I think I think all sorted with some things, you know, he had changed the whole thing when he embraced the Muslim religion. He changed his name. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar from Lew Alcindor, I think a lot of that was also Milwaukee quite wasn't the place to be right, right. So, but if you get a chance to see that Brad anybody who's a basketball fan. It is outrageous. How good it is. We'll be joined by the great eagle, the voice of the nets the voice of the NFL. The voice of the NBA, the voice of everything. Really will join us coming up. All right, Connecticut school of broadcasting has New York City area campuses in Stratford, Connecticut has guys through jersey. That's of course, where I went and Westbury Long Island and before my training. I had no idea. I'd be living out the dream going to work every day to talk about sports on air at the fan. But Connecticut school broadcasting made it all possible, I learned all aspects of the industry from behind the scenes production and audio and video Danica performance got hands on training from industry professionals make connections..

"Will your sports radio. Hey, man. How you doing? What's going on? Well, I hear what people are saying. And I disagree. Okay. I think there's a I looked at how many games that Rothlisberger has had multi interception games. It wasn't as many as I thought it was only four. But I I I don't think Tomlin is there only problem or I don't think getting rid of Tomlin is the solution for three reasons. Number one, number one. We saw a whole bunch of coaches get fired this year, the majority of those coaches were newer coaches, which means that the talent pool is not that great. I agree with that. I agree with that the guy for the Rams and the guy said the eagles. You don't have a lot of coaching talent out there. No in Tomlin would probably jump right to the top of the list of any of those vacancies without a doubt. Absolutely. I do agree with what you said earlier, Ben Rothlisberger. Skills are severely declining. A second thing is we don't have a good defense period. Losing. There was a big problem because he gave a speed at the law linebacker position in the ability to cover tight end. We don't really have that speed anymore. And I worked at at university of Maryland I watched on Davis play. He's our best corner. Our best cover guy, and he's not even that great now. Mike, listen, I hear Steeler fans talking about this. And I'm going to actually be online. So I wanna ask you this point. When you bring up the defense on the defense is the weaker unit on the Steelers, we know that you look at the star power on the offense. And you look at the defense, especially since unfortunately, what happened to Ryan shazier. But to that point isn't the head. Coach's job to play to your strengths. And know your strengths defenses that week, right? As such a bad year when you get out in Oakland and the raiders start coming back, and you know that your quarterback is sitting there healthy enough to come back. And again, you wait until the raiders take the lead to put him back. Back in and then you lose that game. And ultimately you fall a game out of the playoffs. That's on on the head coach the blame the defense will you want? He's got to control these matters. I'll give you that one. However in the saints game a lot of people made a big to do about that. That is the same thing that I can't think of his name right now. Just lost it. The patriots. Coach would do if he knows his check is playing poorly that lasts play that lasts series. He knows his defense is playing poorly. I'd rather give my offense more time than give them less time by kicking the ball all the way down the field. When my defense is winded. They may one big play. But they've been on the sealed a long time and allowing the states to score quickly giving been and this powerful offense and opportunity to score with a lot of time left on the clock. And not many time outs. I didn't think it was a bad idea juju Smith Schuster just fumbled the ball. And that to me we would've won that game. And we'd have been on a blouse. So. In the third thing. I was going to say it's only been seven seven Super Bowl since we win. It's been three teams in the AFC on the ravens the Denver Broncos and the patriots and those years that those teams went von Miller was going off. He was the best player in probably the NFL. Right. And the patriots have just been horses. The whole time we really really going to be difficult to go to the Super Bowl in any of those years because of the teams that we faced and the patriots have it easy. They got six easy games every year in their division where we play teams that are gunning to hurt players on the Steelers the Bengals and the ravens every year wanna kill everybody in Steeler town and same thing with the Browns. And I think it's well you'd think the giants eagles Redskins Cowboys in the NFC. You don't want to do the same. Do you think the Seahawks forty Niners card or something to do the same thing? Come on. Those teams are terrible. You know what I'm saying? Division that the New England is in those teams are the jets haven't been competitive. Well, that's that's true. The patriots don't get beat up. And we'll have sorry. I gotta let you go there. But come on just because the ravens and still have a hard hitting affairs. She had the Steelers defense has been a problem. But see that why can't both things be true. This is a problem and not just in sports in a lot of arguments. Particularly in American culture, I'd say arguments, it's like you make one you say one thing. But then you come back with the counter argument is, but this, you know, there's a lot of cases where in sports life. Whatever two things can both be true at the same time. It doesn't have to be one or the other the Steelers defense can stink and Mike Tomlin can of also lost his locker room. And of course, the team games as well. It you can't just say well Tomlin gets passed because the defense thinks come on now. Myron tweets in morass, CBS CBS, dude, all this diva wide receiver hashtag trash them. What have they won only one? Jerry Rice is the true king? Okay. I mean Randy Moore's probably should have wanted two thousand seven has defense guide star Plaxico Burress did win in two thousand seven. It's only a homeless made catch the generation. He was a clown one that two thousand eight Super Bowl. So you can't tell me that stud receivers in their time. Don't win Super Bowl inches up paying attention and heck Julio Jones probably should have one too. If the falcons had any idea what they were doing calling plays. I mentioned wildcard weekend. I wanna get your thoughts on this at eight five five two one two four two two seven that number again is eight five five two one two four CBS. Wildcard weekend. I always love I get into it. I usually a buddies come over on one of the game days, and and we get into it. And we dive in we watch the games, but there's always a game or two on wild card weekend. Where there's either a key injury. That's derail the team if you remember couple of years ago the raiders played if Derek Carr fractured, his leg. And they were playing a backup quarterback cheese. I'm forgetting who they even played. They also had a backup quarterback or you get the Bengals planning, you know, they're not gonna win a game under Marvin Lewis. Hopefully, that's changed in even get the Arizona Cardinals game where it's you know, whoever starting at quarterback versus Carolina with Cam Newton hurt and there's always a bad game. Usually that Saturday four thirty game has that for thirty eastern this year Saturday for thirty eastern you get colts red hot Andrew luck and the Texans for once we see the Texans on a wild card Saturday with a quarterback JJ watt running draws. From the one yard line. Like you had to a couple years. If you want to Brian for your throat five thousand picks, you get to Shawn Watson versus Andrew lock. And then night the Dallas Cowboys now with Amari Cooper receiver Zeke Elliott running all over the place and they're gonna play a Seahawk team. That is frankly so much more exciting than they were when they had the big heavy defense because pekao Russell Wilson and made them that way. Then on Sunday. Lamar Jackson that raven defense have been phenomenally fun to watch. And they're gonna play the chargers who everybody's flavor of the week to go to a Super Bowl just three weeks ago. And you cap it off with a cold day at Soldier Field with the defending champs in a red hot. Nick foles coming into play the bears does not a bad game to be had. So what is actually the best game? What is actually the most interesting game of wild card? We can I ask you at eight five five two one two four two to seven the number again is eight five five two one two four CBS, and you can tweet me at CBS to me the most interesting game of wild card weekend is Saturday night. It's the Seahawks in it's the Cowboys. And well right for starters. The Cowboys is quote, unquote, America's team either love them. You hate them. Right. Is not really an indifference towards the Dallas Cowboys that automatically as watch ability. But you know, one of the fascinating story lines of the last twenty years has been the Dallas Cowboys inability to get back to an NFC championship game. Get back to a Super Bowl. And a lot of that blame ended up for a long time falling at the feet of Tony Romo and Tony Romo. A lot of people one of the point of fourth quarter stats and comeback stats. Look to meet Tony Romo. Never had the quote unquote, eight factor never seemed when the game was on a line in a big game to get it done. Sure. He could come back in the fourth quarter and week thirteen when nobody's paying attention. But when he came to a week seventeen winning endgame when came to the playoffs. He would always fall that one place short and they went to the divisional round vs. The Green Bay Packers two years ago with that Prescott in his rookie year. Well, when they had the by and they sat there and they lost Aaron Rodgers and the Packers. Now here comes back looking for his first playoff win. And if tack in his second playoff game can get off the Schneider and get a win will already you're off and running maybe feel a little more comfortable than you did in the Rome. Larry on the flip side. Not a lot of people have the Seattle Seahawks making the playoffs this year. All right. The clean house on defense. Those defensive guys had finally had to with Karen the way treaty. Russell wilson. Well, guess what? Pekao gamble there, by the way. It's a message that Steelers as well. You know, it's okay. If you wanna run superstars out of town. I'll Richard Sherman like Antonio Brown. If you really believe in your quarterback and coach. And if that's if you're gonna keep Tom to keep Rothlisberger. Just look at the Seattle Seahawks. Granted Russell Wilson a lot younger. They're back in the postseason. And it's not about defense now for them. Although the defense has been surprisingly better than people would expect, but Russell Wilson is making place. And I think Russell Wilson leading a Seahawk team in their to Dallas with a lot of pressure on the Cowboys here in Dak Prescott to go in a home playoff game. That is a fascinating matchup Saturday night. And if I had, you know, of course, I'm going to watch four because I can't get enough of this. If I had to pick one game, right? Couldn't blink during it's going to be Seok scou- boys this weekend. What is your game of the weekend at eight five five two one two four two two seven that number again is eight five five two one two four CBS. But squeeze in one more call before the top of the hour. Rick in Milwaukee, Rick you're on CBS sports radio. We are take on the Steelers Atma Packer fan. But I think Tomlin's lost with the Steelers in the locker room I'd want it. If he got fired courtesy got hired in Pittsburgh and Tomlin came to Green Bay defence the minor coach with Aaron Rodgers and up and coming up and get a good offensive coordinator that actually has a non three historic offense. I think it'd be a good move for Green Bay. And you've got McCarthy going back to his hometown. That's just a feel good story. Waiting to happen. They can meet in the Super Bowl, obviously, not going can happen agreed Greece as Rick.
