Senate Democrats move immediately to "Plan B" on minimum wage

"Yesterday we told you That the parliamentarian head ruled that the dollar minimum wage does not pass muster for reconciliation and must be taken out of a covid relief. Bill now We clarified unlike most of the media. That the parliamentary and actually has no power whatsoever It is just give an advisory opinion is not an actual ruling. The person who does the ruling is actually the presiding chair of the senate was normally is the vice president so comma. Harris is going to have a huge part in this conversation now wants the parliamentarian gave her so called ruling. All the democrats immediately gave up on fifteen dollars minimum wage as things stand now they are going to be taking that provision is going to be taken out of the bill and we will not get fifteen dollar minimum wage for at least four years now. There is a way to prevent it. There are four steps here. I'm going to walk through all four steps and you will see that if we do this. It's actually very doable. To keep it in the bill and to actually win on this issue but it requires courage from progressives and then Requires us to put public pressure on some of our allies and then eventually to the biden administration and sure so step one is unfortunately right now the most important step and where we're going to have to call out bernie sanders bernie sanders. Is the chair of the budget committee. The chair of the budget committee the signs. What is in the kobe. Relief bill bernie sanders. Current plan is to take fifteen dollars minimum wage out of the covid relief. Bill that is a terrible idea. He should not do that. If corporate democrats are going to vote against let them vote against it but doing it on their behalf. i cannot overstate. What a bad idea that is in that scenario that right now is what is going to happen unless we change it together bernie would kill the fifteen dollar minimum wage on behalf of joe manchin and joe by. He should not do that. So that's this is step one. I'm going to get to the other steps in a second guys. I need you to immediately participate. We've got a campaign we've got a partition and and we've got hashtags. We must do all of the above and the campaign is called. Don't kill it bernie because yes step one indisputably. It is a matter of fact. Is that the budget chair decides if it goes in the bill that is bernie sanders. That was the whole point of him being budget share. If he's going to take out. Fifteen dollar minimum wage will take out every provision the joe manchin and joe biden are opposed to that means we will get no progressive priorities past none. The fifteen dollars. Minimum wage was literally the bare minimum. It was the first ask of progressives so bernie. You've got to keep it in the bill because if he does not keep it in the bill. It's over that hashtag fight for fifteen. There is no more fight. That means progressive surrender. I'm being honest with you. Guys our job is to do the news. Those are the facts of how this process works so go to the petition. All right and here. Let's put it up for you guys and it's simply called. Don't kill it bernie. And what is saying is we don. T have a clear message. Don't take it out of the bill. It's one hundred percent your call on whether you keep it in the bill or take it out of the bill. Do not do that because if you take it out of the bill and you kill it then we will not be able to get back to it for four long years and there's no reason for it so and and if you're tweeting about this at all please use hashtag. Don't kill it bernie. Because we must get senator sanders to turn around. There are no other steps if he takes it out of the bill now if he keeps it in the bill now let me walk you through how we could actually win on this step two would be since it's in the bill. The presiding officer of the senate would have to rule to take it out of the bill. So kamala harris who in her role as the vp would normally be the presiding officer. The senate would have to actively vote with republicans or side with republicans the and the parliamentarian for what it's worth again. The parliamentarian has no vote. No power just gave a rando opinion on what they think they should do it. The republicans would never care about it. It it has no force of law at all. in fact it's being used as an excuse by kamla harris show schumer and the others to kill a provision. They were never in favor of so. Then we have to put pressure on comma harris to not side with mitch mcconnell. Can we do that. Yes yes we can definitely do that. If chuck schumer wants to protect com la- harris and he puts another senator in as the presiding officer. Will they will put pressure on chuck schumer. Would you like to continue to be the senator from new york. There are a lot of progressives in new york very very strong. Progressives in new york that could easily take that seat not easily but that could certainly have a shot at taking that seat. So now here's the most part steps three if she decides to take it out of the bill. There's nothing we can do about it comma harrison show schumer will then actively be saying okay. We killed the fifteen dollar minimum wage because we never wanted in the first place but if we get past that step and go. You win you win. We're keeping it in the bill. Then mitch. Mcconnell would object. Mitch mcconnell would then say. I want to appeal the ruling of the chair. Now here's a great news. Since joe manchin a cinema cap the filibuster and so two joe biden. They would need sixty votes to overrule the chair. So that means they need to break our filibuster to overrule the ruling of the chair. They're not gonna get sixty votes. We win okay. There is a separate more but understand before we go to step four step. Four is awesome but right now you understand how simple it is with. Depression brought to keep it in the bill. We have to pressure mention not mansion comma harris and chuck schumer to not side with republicans. Why god is a progressive movement. If we can't do that what can we do. Do we have any power or don't we have any power. Were about to find out. And then step for is if the republicans cannot break the filibuster. The mcconnell has one last option and this is wonderfully ironic. He would have to ask for fifty vote margin and straight up and down. Vote to kill the filibuster in regards to the votes of the presiding chair of the senate now mansion cinema have said that and biden said that the filibuster is the most precious thing in the world to them. So what are they going to. Now turn around just to make sure you don't get higher wages and they're gonna vote to kill the filibuster in this regard. I mean you would be the most spectacularly hypocritical thing they have ever done and they've done some pretty hypocritical fix so you put them in an near impossible situation and it is incredibly doable but step one is do not surrender. Guys one last thing before we go to john and jordan. There's ninety two billion dollars online. This would be a pay raise for about thirty million americans and to the tune of ninety two billion dollars every single year the reason why biden mansion and the republicans don't want to do it is because the chamber of commerce is dead set against it they are those business interests are giant donors to both the republican party and the democratic party. And those donors are saying. I wanna keep the ninety two billion dollars. I want to give it to my workers. I want to keep their wages incredibly low now go do my bidding. And they do now. Bernie is not in that camp. But he's getting pressure from the other democrats to take it out of the bill. We in a sense have to back them up by saying bernie. We do not agree. We do not agree. Don't kill it bernie. Don't kill it

"We had an eventful weekend. We did. We got a lot done. Tell Buddy tricks he's trying to tell everybody what we did this weekend. Celebrated Archie. wa-was fifth birthday with a zoom dog. COSTUME CONTESTS PARTY TO SAY that. Just. It, was nice to see. Everybody was nice. Yeah. Was a nice excuse to see family and the kids seem to enjoy themselves. I thought it was appropriate that on the little kids was the one who won the actual dog costume contents I. Think we're GONNA open it up to everyone next year not just dogs. No I think he was excited to be the best dog was he was something about that it was a very good cost to. What was it again he was shadow from the sonic the HEDGEHOG Games. Sure. He's very into sonic. That's awesome. So it's good and that's why I did it was just to have everybody together. I got admit I wanted to perform a little bit. So thank you. Excuse I mean it's Halloween time. You know 'cause we're usually very very busy at Halloween. are sadly this year because of the virus. You're not I think people understand like people that work in haunted houses as soon as October hits, it's Halloween like all the time. So soon as September heads yeah. The End. Depends on how much you're working on the actually putting a haunt together though you know the people who are in charge and running those places you know they get started in the middle of summer. Yeah. You're not in gear by July. You're going to be so far behind GONNA have a rough year. Higher. filthier there were. Some drive-thru haunts you want to go through a drive through haunt picture maybe. Just a touch your car better. Not I know I want because I know how bad corn Syrup is for paint jobs on cars yeah. I don't know. Excited about that I? Mean I guess if they did it like, Hey, ride style where like no one actually comes up to the car and touches it. That's not how they roll at the Bates Motel. They come right up to you. The can't do that now because. I WanNa, hit any actors with my car. Obviously, you would be going at like that's the thing it's like you drive your own car seven directing you have you sign a thing where like if you run over one of the actors You. There are. Lots of drive through entertainment. Nobody thinks about those things. Nobody's foot gets run over. Yeah. That's a big deal. See working on a house we're used to like chaos happening because it's Halloween people are drinking insure. End when people are scared they first reactions, I mean I've had some pretty crazy experiences haunted houses with people and their bodily fluids you know. It was someone you're going through with no somebody. I several people that I was they were the patrons I was. We made them pay their pants. Yes, that's good I. Guess. Not for them, for them. Because then there's a puddle after deal with hit. Yes. I've been things like people have hit me. So it's like someone would hit me with their car. I've been kicked been headbutted really. Did, did he get escorted out? Yes sees what happens when you hit on actors new new spend sixty dollars for nothing in. You have to leave I mean to his credit I was towards the end of the haunts. Through most of us, we just saved US what he wanted to go out with A. Give me a nice head to remember and by it sucks. I mean it was right. All those people are. Sometimes. I would break and when people were really drunk or if I was really like afraid, they were going to hit me I would break character and be like you pay to be here right? Like you paid for this experience. Yeah. I. Don't know if that's GONNA deter them though. Well then I also like go get security. Just, drop character, and that's my are tip to any hunters that are listening have like escape doors in each scene, somebody can duck out. In don't keep. Your weird voice dreicer. So they know it serious drop then be like that's not cool. No one's going to be hitting anybody this year. GonNa be going through any haunts this year there's there's not. That I. Know of unless there. I mean I'm sure there are some L. Some of them are open. I'm seeing the one instagram and I'm like, how does that work I mean a place that is that when? I was there. It was hard to breathe pre pandemic because it was in a underground place with no ventilation. Would actually help in that situation you. Could stay in that area for a long time. Zone does actress I'm thinking about the actors I mean the actors there every night with all these people coming through. One person to go through man it's like it's all the you know you're essentially an essential worker at that at that. Really. Haunted houses are like extra terrifying this year because you could die if you got co did. Any one of those professions that people have where there is a steady stream of strangers say that five times fast did it again steady stream of Strangers Alyssa? Coming through you know like, where like like people who work as any kind of customer service job? Any kind of restaurant any kind of supermarket. Like literally, you're just standing there all day long with Rando, people coming through my heart goes out to all of them. Yeah. We've been really thinking about people that have to have to do like especially the grocery workers and stuff like that. They were there from the beginning dealing with us and it's really it's scary and it does make me realize the things that I have and one thing I wanted to do and I brought you on was just to say thank you so much. I'm so glad that I am quarantined with you. We're very lucky to have the situation that we have I, I've. Heard you're working you've been working very, very hard. So many people out there who are who are working so hard for. For whatever they have like, I feel for all the people who don't have a steady paycheck coming in all the people who are struggling through this time you know especially with all the crazy stuff beyond just colbrad going on in the world. With I just wrote it this weekend. That was something that got done. It feel. For about an hour and a half. A lot of now who had to stand in line, but everybody had their masks on. One person got turned away. There was one person who walked up without a massacre. US older woman and unfortunately she she made kind of a stink about it instead of going to get her mask. By reducing, she acted like a Karen. Oh Now Karen status she was just very a lot of huffing and puffing, okay she had to walk back to her car to get her mask. They're keeping themselves in check now I don't know maybe. I. You know I haven't really cross paths with many Karen my time. No. White man was I suppose when you're well, I think the only time that we would run across them as when we're working in retail right when I was working at best buy for example, there is a good amount of because they see you as lower status when they are accuster on your employees a retail store, it also is the scenario. There has to be like a perfect storm of situations to I'll tell. Merge I was so guilty of it when I was younger. I try to work. Well. Here's what he did. I would go like, say to my hot topic to return something if they'd be like, oh, we can't really take this. It'd be like look I could go get my mom who's at boss cavs right now. Little Carrot Junior. Or we could just do this and your day will be so easy. Karen though is it I mean like my mom all when she wanted to she when she wanted to refund you better believe like my mom once we had.

Grizzlies' Ja Morant Says 'I Honestly Don't Care About Rookie of the Year' Award

"John Moran shoot around this morning. Honestly don't care about the rookie of the year. They can give it to who they want do you do you think he doesn't care about the rookie of the year war. I think he does care about the rookie of the year warrant. It just seems like something you do subconsciously. Just try to get you. I mean I think he knows. He's an elite nothing. He knows that the playoff push that his team is in China Goes hand-in-hand with the award. And it's also the right thing to say. I'm more focused on winning awards so I get it politically right But I do think that he cares more about the winning right now because he knows that they're tied together. I give Ziouani in the Pelicans Nash. Afc is going to be because Zion has this miraculous. You know second half that could win the war but he goes onto the spot. You know what I mean. Because he is going to be because he played good enough to hold onto the rookie. Where so it kind of goes hand going to answer the at the same time that we're getting from from the personally. I learned from John. Rando I could say. Maybe he doesn't at the same time he always seems like someone who pushes his peers. Even if that means that it takes a lightweight from him. I think I'm trying to find the video video. It was A. It was an article about the time they jaap played against the heat. He's being tyler hero or the heroes on the bench and he hit a shot next to the bench and he screamed at them. This is my war at tile here because this is tyler hero was season some trying to find that because I mean this would be completely a different change. My say if you went from this is my war too. I don't really care like that anymore. But were they in the playoff hunt because I know at the beginning of the season. They weren't maybe they weren't maybe they weren't but yeah he's right. It is the perfect answer. It is the perfect answer and it does go hand in hand because I think we sat on the show. Whoever wins that deserves the award.

Kennedy Ife death: Family cleared of 'exorcism' killing

"Okay prepare yourself. This is a bummer. August twenty. Sixteen paramedics are called to the FAA household. On Lancaster Avenue in Enfield North London Harry. Fa Rang to say that his brother Kennedy had quote gone a bit cold after feeling dehydrated and a bit weary is a British thing. It reminds me of Monty Python. The meaning of his leg was bitten. Sort of off. It might be. Yeah I love it I like it too. They sound so much classier than we do in America. Yeah it was dangling there was just GonNa plum ripped off so two and a half years later. Kennedy Phase Family was in court his parents Kenneth and Josephine and five brothers. Roy Harry Colonist Samuel and Daniel were on trial accused of manslaughter. According to some Kennedy phase parents and brothers believed that he was possessed by evil spirits and set about curing him with prayer and restraint that led to his death basically. They tried to perform an exorcism. This is not something that an amateur should try to do. Not Bring in a professional. You wouldn't Clean Your Own Sofa and expect good result. Why cast as above out of a loved one on your own. You wouldn't steal a policeman's CAP. Well there's an obscure reference. Somebody tell us what that's from and You will earn our undying respect so prosecution claimed that Kennedy who worked as an. It consultant was restrained for sixty seven hours in the seven bedroom mansion in Enfield and he was treated like an animal or detainee. The family described themselves as charismatic Christians and they held religious beliefs and thought that because Kennedy had become quote bewitched That they needed to cast out those those demons. The family together And according to the Lincoln page The Dad of the household Kenneth. Fa is a prominent public policy analysis. That's not a word analyst who had gone and advised for World Bank and the British government so later in Police Interview Colin. Fa One of the brothers stated that Kennedy had been behaving normally up until August. Thirteen That's when he ate at a Chinese buffet and started complaining of pain in his throat and he was finding it hard to sleep. Maybe he just had an allergy to peanuts or something. It's possible maybe he had indigestion who knows about five days later. He was complaining of seed in his stomach. He said that a python or a snake was inside of him. And this is according to Call an FA. He said that Kennedy believed that he had a demon inside his body wanting to kill him and this is what he told the court on August. Nineteen Kennedy became aggressive again. This is all according to the family during their trial. They said that he bit his father and threatened to cut off his own penis rather than taking him to a doctor His mother who is known to their church as sister Joe. She sought advice from their minister. Colin went onto describe. That Kennedy had become aggressive He was shouting about the mark of the beast and When the volunteers from the church came to the house one of them His name was Andrew and his last name. I'm not even going to begin to try to pronounce He was a volunteer at Jesus Sanctuary Ministries He prayed for Kennedy at the House along with two other ministers known as brother Peter and Brother Emeka and he told the court when I arrived. I was informed that we've been instructed to attend the address of sister. Joe To pray for Kennedy. They went to sister. Joe's house and They were gathered in the living room. He said that he saw Kennedy laying down on the city. He had a phone in his hand. He seemed to be typing something on his phone texting. Or whenever Andrew said I said high he said high and he looked me directly in the eyes. He did look unwell. He looked tired and as they began praying for him. Kennedy's father walked into the room with a man from different church and this is according to the volunteer from Jesus Sanctuary Ministries so Andrew added. I believed he was a pastor but I had never seen him before. Sister Jo asked if that man could take over he prayed for God to keep Kennedy. And he'll him. He then said that he was actually kind of angry. That he'd been asked to come out there and then was asked to leave immediately because some Rando Dude showed up. I'm paraphrasing of course. I think it was brother Rando Dude but he did report that Kennedy looked like he had a fever and that he was not as bright as he had been in. The past. One of the lawyers asked. Did you see Kennedy bound at any time during your stay and Andrew replied no and then they clarified. He was conscious. He greeted you Did you see that? There was any time where Kennedy appeared like he was not in his right mind and and he said no he. He seemed okay so he left Monday. August twenty second another brother Harry. Faa phoned nine nine nine and said that Kennedy was struggling to breathe. Paramedics arrived but Kennedy was already dead. The court heard that when police arrived at the House. The family was carrying out what they called an attempted. Resurrection Kennedy was laying face down on the floor and they were standing over him saying Kennedy. I command you to rise in the name of Jesus this did not work and during the trial a prosecutor. Tim Little claimed that the family had restrained Kennedy for sixty seven hours before laying him out on the ground and trying to resuscitate him when he stopped breathing. What kind of restraint they did. They go into detail was handcuffed and they used cable ties. Like Zip Taif my God. I can't find a comfortable position when I have the flu Yeah no this was not a great situation and I imagine it was scary for everyone involved especially the one being Zip ties tied. Who believes that? He's filled with demons. According to the prosecutor the family put misguided religious beliefs above this young man's health and wellbeing whether or not he was possessed by a demon or evil spirits. Obvious Common Sense concludes that he needed help. A pathologist found more than sixty injuries on Kennedy all consistent with forceful restraint. Did he find any snakes in his stomach? No snakes in not a single one that would have been a cool ending Sister Joe Mom said that the restraint was justified because Kennedy Post threat to himself but neither sister Joe or Dad said they knew where the handcuffs came from They also struggled with where the cable ties came from each suggesting. That media workman had left them from work that he had done years before. But one of the brothers Roy later told jurors that he bought the handcuffs on Ebay as part of a abandoned plan to go into part-time security. Work Yeah why? Did they have further on them? Sir No one was sure of who put the handcuffs or the restraints on Kennedy and everyone said Oh I don't know who did it no one saw any particular abuses being Laid on him by any particular person. It was just kind of this group. Effort that No one had any recollection of exactly how the events took place. Maybe they were the ones possessed. Maybe after the police were called Roy. One of the brothers told jurors that he panicked and took the handcuffs out of the House and threw them over the neighbor's fence. Which to me says that they knew that this was not the correct course of action. Sure if you're hiding evidence you you knew that this wasn't the right thing to be doing. Mr Little said that Claims that Kennedy was only held down. Temporarily were outlandish that. There's no way that the injuries caused him by these handcuffs and these zip ties were created just from the the individual instances that they said that they had to restrain him that he was obviously restrained for a lengthy period of time. Which because this whole process took place over? The course of three days leads me to believe. He was probably restrained for three days. The siblings all made the same choice. Not TO GIVE EVIDENCE AND BE. Subjected to the same scrutiny. According to the prosecutor however Kenneth Josephine Mom and Dad Roy Harry Colin Daniel Daniel. Daniel and Samuel were all cleared of manslaughter false imprisonment and causing or allowing the death of a vulnerable adult between the dates of August nineteen and twenty third 2016. It seems as though because they held these religious beliefs and they held them deeply that the jury felt that they were not liable for this man's cardiac arrest and death even though they held him down and restrained him and caused his death but they didn't according to the jury.

"On Fox Tucker. Carlson had a very slow day or whatever they were expecting trump depending it on what it was so he pulled out an old interview. We did with Adam Corolla and I it was about homelessness and it was so good what Adam Corolla said and it was a. It was a long segments chopped up and down into three Shorter pieces And it was it was. It was an eye-opener. I sat us in holy crap. He's really saying some smart stuff here because what he is identified as the problem in Los Angeles. I'll have I'll just say California Is exactly what's going on here in Austin. It's exactly the same I open. I really appreciate what he said. it's it is completely in three parts So I the explains why the government local city government or state government doesn't care about the homeless. I mean if I asked you just off hand why do city and state governments not care? Really don't care about the homeless. I HAVE NO IDEA. California in La especially sort of broken the citizens into two groups. There's the groups that have money and then they're the empty bags they don't have any money so if you have money and you're in that group and you pay your taxes you will get pulled over in get a ticket for not having a front license plate but if you're homeless or you're illegal or you're not in the system essentially an empty bag and they can't get money out of you. In fact. They cost the city money so anything that cost the city money. They're not that good at what they're really good at parking enforcement and they're really good at permits and building permits and fines and anything. We're there's money to be had there super-efficient at it and homeless don't have checking accounts so there's nothing in it for that. They've really divided the entire city into those who pay. And those who can't and if you can. They're not that interesting. I think this is so true. And it really hit home for me just the other day the keeper in Iowa coming back from we had lunch together and we're driving back on the South Pleasant Valley road which is a thirty five zones. No it's it's it's lunchtime. There's no one on the road and I'm driving and I and I look at my rear view mirror and I see a car behind me like close kind of writing me and so I I pull over to the side immediately undercover. You know the guy stop you around our speeding but fifty feet up there. Squeegee guys intense on the median. So now I have to say I didn't get a ticket. I got a warning but it was that that very moment. I felt the same as like. Look at what you're doing man. There's no one on the road. Yeah Okay I was going a little fast okay. I was over forty. Sorry but look at the illegality taking place right and I'm not blaming the COP obviously because the COP is not even allowed to do anything but that's the stuff that drives people crazy. I thought it was an interesting observation that these governments don't give a shit if they can't get money out of you they don't care we'll still begs the question. Why are they allowed to have these encampments? It's it caused the city money to 'cause somebody's gotta clean stuff up eventually. Well the something. What is going? Is that a trash van backing out in garbage truck. Well that comes up in the second part of the story And and this is a very valid question although it's not it's not addressed in what Corolla says but remember this. This camping is All these liberal cities have allowed camping because of a lawsuit that is in the ninth circuit. It's an Idaho that removing homeless people who are camping is quote unconstitutional because it is against because it is cruel and unusual punishment. This is what the woke stirs have. Come up with and so for that reason because it's now in court. Idaho said well. Well we can't. We can't kick these people out because you know the constitutional and all the wo- counties auden literally says the same thing. Well you know. There's there's there's a case before the ninth circuit. We can't really do anything until that's resolved because you know just kicking people out of their homes where they're camping. That's cruel and unusual punishment because you're ruining their home. That's that's how they get away with allowing it and of course the real. I know that's not the question. That question is why I mean they get they get away with but why do they want these encampments because they obviously no they don't here's Corollas Vision on that road changed is we started to mistake discipline in rule of law for being seen this sort of like don't be mean. Don't take that homeless guy. Why are you making him go here? Or why are you arresting him or why are you incarcerating him? Or why are you putting in this facility? La has become this sort of good vibes place where Mayor Garcetti. And and the governor Los Angeles Governor of California Gavin Newsom. Then nobody everyone is scared of being called a bad person and we used to realize that coaches and teachers in generals and the police force and the mayor and the governor when they enforced laws. They weren't bad people they enforce laws. They're doing what they were elected to do. They're doing their job. Now when official says I want to get rid of this homeless camp. We're going to we're going to bulldoze the homeless camp. We're GONNA give it. It's like why are you being a mean person? Why are you being a bad person? This is Zeitgeist. That's over this nation. That the people that the teacher that's expelling the student for being unruly has now become the bad person not to student the teacher. We're turning on the rule of law. We're turning on the teachers coaches. The governor's the mayor's the cops think what we've done with COPS COPS into the bad guy that not bad guys who were the bad guys and the reason the cops are engaged with the bad guys. It's absurd involved with some bad behavior. We've turned the guy with the uniform and the badge into the bad guy and nobody wants to be the bad guy. It's matter but I think there's an element of truth to say. Well yes I agree. I'm not going to disagree with the basic thesis but some cities have the homeless problem in some cities. Don't Dallas doesn't have the same problem Austin has no because they're not the idiots who's idiots that people in Dallas. No the people in Austin the City Council and Austin is doesn't want to hurt anybody's feelings you remember the report. I paid played on the last show. Where the the City Council Lady said? Well you know those needles it. It's probably for You know they have diabetes in the homeless people need to use needles to your right. Yeah for Yeah that that is the dumbest thing here. Let me get him play it and I just wanted to point out certain specimens turnover that needles that people need for health reasons and other stuff and believe. That's what we were seeing.

"I want you to try to decipher this. This is a discussion with her. And some psycho writer talking about trump and the media and I don't I listen to this I clipped. It couldn't even clip it down to any shorter than this and I just want you to tell me what they're what they're saying to. "At. If I'm a little bored I usually say something to get you to move along a little bit and then you get mad at me but I. It's not for me never to say something. I've always say something. Nobody heard rustling papers. So I'm like rusting papers I am. I can move the mics open. Want you just don't want it to be bored for you okay. I'm doing what you're doing fine. You're right back to China. It's never these interruptions twenty ten. Here's what trump had to say. We don't manufacture anything anymore. In this country we do healthcare ten ten years ago. Let me just remind you ten years ago you know. We don't manufacture anything anymore. In this country we do health care. We do lots of different services but the big services manufacturing everything's made in China for the most part between China India and others but China in particular and frankly they're sending stuff over here and we're paying for it and you know sort of interesting very little tax paid and yet you can't do business in China you're not allowed to do business in China. It's almost impossible to do business in Jenin yet. They take our business from North Carolina from South Carolina from Alabama. They make toys then sell them to this country they make tremendous profits and then they loan this country money in the form of treasuries and. I think it's terrible. It's what do we do about China? This is an issue that you're obviously really passionate about you know. Look at what Google has done taking a stand in China. I think we're not going to do business this way. That's a long ago. This was when Google pretended to take a stand against China. I think we'RE NOT GONNA keep business this way. You've got big businesses with very different takes on China lots of different businesses but when it comes to manufacturing China's making all of these products and they could be made in North Carolina. They could be made in Alabama. They could be made into lots of our places and right. Now they're not personally. I'd Tax China. Because it's not a free-trade country I would tax China very very heavily and the money that you get from that tax cut. Some of the products would still get through even with the tax but it would create jobs in this country so we're trump is saying ten years ago. Which is the most recent one where I found that we put it? All together is because of the imbalances. Because of how China doesn't play fair and makes their products so incl- incredibly cheap below. Cost what we could do it here. Every everyone has sent over to China and the more I look at it. The MORE AMAZED. I am at what has actually gone to China. In fact I'll just stop the time line this is Rosemary Gibson. She wrote a book called China. Rx which you won't hear about because no mainstream media outlet is going to let you rail against the pharmaceutical industry. But it's pretty bad. He began in the early nineties when generic drugs really came came out strong president. Reagan bipartisan in the eighties. Let'S HAVE GENERIC DRUG ACT. And that made medicines a lot cheaper for people brand name products. Go off patent. So let's make generics and so over time. How do we make these cheaper? And so we started sourcing the ingredients to make them in China and then once we opened up free trade. This was a real real stunner. So when we opened up for free trade and China join WTO the next year. We lost our last aspirin plant. We lost our ability to make vitamin C. We don't make the scorebig acid anymore. That's when the last penicillin plant closed. Camp make the core components. The SEAL SOUTH SILICA ACID and the escort. But we cannot make here. And that's because not just opening quote free-trade but China cheats medicines and cartels they form these cartels they dump it on the global market at below market prices and I drove everybody out. I didn't know that don't even make our own aspirin or vitamin C. Anymore or the we apparently don't even have the capability to do it and this is probably recovered. The capability could but it's not like you said. Hey I want tomorrow. Of course we know that would take you take it easy during a few months though but it is also. It's your you know what people don't give a shit about this because you're not sick. I'll tell you if you knew that That we can't make Viagra in America. People would lose their shit. What China's control my deck? So it's just a matter of what you know what you don't know. So trump gets in his main messages. Build the wall which he also connects to Jobs Etcetera and we've got to bring manufacturing back. There was this consistent Mesh before China really it was. We gotTA start the manufacturer. GotTa Bring Steel. We gotta have our own steel. We don't have a country. It's national security need manufacturing and whether it's twelve thousand factories or twelve hundred. I don't know he started. Something we will pour new concrete lay NUBRIK and watch new spark slide our factories as we forge metal from the furnaces of our rust belt and our beloved heartland which has been forgotten. But it's not forgotten anymore. We will put new American steel into the spine of our country. American workers will construct Leeming new lanes of commerce across our landscape. They will build these monuments from coast to coast and from city to city. We will embark on a wonderful new journey into a bright and glorious future. We will build again. We will grow again. We will thrive again and we will make America great again by so then he gets into the holy gets in and this is I think actually the from state of the Union as I want. And then he's talking trade wars tariffs we're going to finally. He's got the power he's GonNa do it. He said I'm GonNa what he's been promising for. All these years I would tax. I would tax him. China of course calls. His bluff have been very consistent. Us President Donald Trump says. He wants to hit China with a big fine on trade but in the capital Beijing experts and insiders say little sense of a crisis voices in the business community have worn China that the president is serious about tough action on trade anti told Reuters in an exclusive interview potential. Big Damages are on the way. However Reuters Michael Martina Beijing says officials think trump is bluffing. So here in China the sense we get is that Chinese officials aren't overly concerned about the threat of a trade action by the trump administration For one they feel that perhaps the trump administration doesn't have the political standing and sort of will to endure the economic fallout. And well we did and he did. And he put the tariffs on too much chagrin of the markets. And it was we forget these things or at least I do and the Shitty I remember when was pissed off about it. What's going on? Do we have a is there. Trade wars no trade war and everything seems to be okay we still have tariffs but then we were a couple of other things. Some economic blows Z. T. E. Like now. You can't sell here anymore android. You can't have that five jeep. Yeah we're not so sure we want you in networks so this is pushing these economic economic warfare pushing down pushing back and then we get phase one of the trade deal and phase. One has very specific things that China must do. Although of course they haven't out under the force measure clause which says well you know if something happens and we can always figure it out later but that takes place then. We have bar. Who is the attorney general and we have Pompeo secretary of state going out into the heartlands to talk about what we need to do about China's encroachment on pretty much everything so. I think this is the clip that I played This is This pompeo he's setting them up here. This is the National Governor's Association the Winter Meeting which was just held. Last year. I received an invitation to an event that promise to be quote an occasion for exclusive deal-making. It said quote the opportunities for mutually beneficial economic development between China and our individual states are tremendous than to quote dealmaking. Sounds like it might have come from president trump but the invitation was actually from a former governor. I was being invited to the. Us China Governors collaborations summit. It was an event. Co hosted by the National Governor's Association and something called the Chinese People's Association for Friendship and Foreign Countries. Sounds pretty harmless. What the invitation did not say. Is that the group. The group I just mentioned is the public face of the Chinese Communist. Party's official foreign influence agency. The United Front Work Department now. I was lucky I was familiar with that. Organization for my time is the director of the Central Intelligence Agency. But it got me thinking how many of you made the link between that group and Chinese Communist Party officials. What if you made a new friend while you were at that event? What if you knew friend asked you for introductions politically connected powerful people? What if you're a new friend offered to invest big money in your state your pension in industry sensitive to our national security? These aren't hypotheticals. These scenarios are all true and they impact American foreign policy significantly indeed last year a Chinese. Go.

She's headed to those states after coming back with a third place. Finish Elizabeth Warren. Who came in fourth predicted a long primary fight ahead? I found my clip. "Know what I'm saying in the break is that this is this is sort of a focus. Group of white voters in the northeast in these rate needs to state. What I see there is that the people coming out of New Hampshire none of that. None of those people have residents with black voters. None of them do the one who has readily residents are Biden. Who's getting crushed? And if he doesn't work out what I'm hearing from black voters consistently five and goes down to Bloomberg how nonsense but listen to the exact words she saying. She's saying he's getting squeezed. She's she is repeating line. She's heard Biden getting squeeze he's not gonNA make it black voters. And then what? I'm hearing what I'm in the confusion. Of course oh cheap team is black so she must know what African Americans are thinking. What I'm hearing know what She's hearing is. From the Hillary Clinton clamp camp or maybe it's Hillary and Bloomberg camp. I actually tried to register. Bloomberg Clinton Twenty twenty. It's been taken. All of those are gone. Bloomberg Clinton Dot Com also gone. So she's she's instructed to tell black people that they should go to Bloomberg. There's no other way to see this and of course suspended the massive black audience. Msnbc or you get my point. Yeah was your messaging there on behalf of Hillary. Well there was one other message that came in on behalf of Hillary and let me see. Where was this lady Okay that sucks while you're looking for that you continue to do have rap above the New Hampshire thing and this is off a Fox radio. This is the New.

"And give people a choice you. You can't do his exact stick but there's a void there and it's it's GonNa be someone's going to fill it up and it's not gonna be Mark Stein is not even going to be the rush. Limbaugh show it. You know things come to an end. But that's pretty much keeping grouses of radio stations alive at this point. It's GonNa be a huge problem because they don't know you know he's substitutes. He brings a lot of them in Dan. Bongino one of these guys can only listen to him for. They're not. There's something wrong with these other guys in compared to the limbaugh whose can keep your attention. He does good at his analysis. Good the thing. That's that's interesting. I've listened to this guy at when I usually up to driving around the listen to him but when I do. I'm always impressed. Especially during the election season of his analysis he had an analysis. I don't have a clip of it. But he he discusses what the Democrat. Party's GONNA have to do if Bernie wins and who who's GonNa be the VP? Kinda stuff? You do now and he. He's got this theory that the Democrats this is the theory. Basically the Democrats know they're GONNA lose the trump date of the insiders bid hotshots the big boys. The guys you follow and so who are they gonNA put up against? Trump that can take debt can be beat up and without hurting. The party long-term alley he thinks it's Bernie because Bernie will be beaten and that'll be the end of this socialism crap. Get it out of the way. So what happened with when they ran? McGovern right. I can say Knicks. I I think that yes in As we've discussed here it is the election. America deserves you know. Hey you want this guy this direction. You want that guy that direction. That's what we deserve. I think they're truly afraid. That Bernie would win mainly because of the do anything to get trump out and I think there's apprehension on On their part for that everything feels like it But with Biden out the question is I'm sorry I'm sorry let me in my World Biden's out in the world of MSNBC Biden's out what's interesting. And I watched a lot of this coverage. Msnbc is hands down just the one to watch if you want to know what the Party line is because they keep bringing people on You know pundits who are either consultants or their e. Clearly their surrogates Fox does that too. But they really. They're really pretending to be just interested. Parties here for the discussion in the conversation. So Joy Reid who was eight us. She's not a an African American in the truest sense of the word but of course she represents black America when it comes to MSNBC. And here's what she had to say. There's only room for her or Buddha judge in that lane is really freezing him out and you know what I'm saying in the break is that this is this is sort of a focus. Group of white voters in the northeast in these rate needs to state. What I see there is that the people coming out of New Hampshire none of that. None of those people have residents with black voters. None of them do the one who has readily residents are Biden. Who's getting crushed?.
