I almost a fringe benefit of fringe fringe benefit according to. Yeah i need the money. Tell me about according to trump fringe benefits. Everybody gets them. I haven't done the voice. Let everybody gets them in ukraine. Wait what did he say. It's just Sorry everybody not to assault ears. I'm warning you is quick. Twenty second clip employment perks. These are son corporate car which everybody has. That's one hundred thirty six thousand dollars over sixteen years. Yeah that's ten grand a year half of that because my father is a good guy he'd paid for this guy's grandchildren's education. okay eric. Not everyone has a company car. Hello that's number one number two. It wasn't because your father's a good guy you know. They kept two sets of books. And every cent that alan weisselberg got in perks whether it be a company car or his grandchildren's tuition paid for what's taken off of his salary and and paid basically under the table which is what it is so neither side had to pay taxes on it. It's not because he's a good guy it's because he's a crock because he's a griff ter- because he's a scam artist con man. Yeah this guy. He's skating for not paying a company car company company car. You didn't pay tax on the car that's right. That's fine apartment an apartment. You need an appointment. Travel to have to travel to send paychecks or education for your grandchildren. Okay how stupid is he. This is the man who said. I know moore bill texas than anyone. Well then if you did. You'd know that you need to pay taxes on that stuff. Yeah yeah there's no free lunch. He knows all about it. God here and he's also the one that said on at the debate hillary that it was smart what he was doing on his taxes. That's right. I call it smart. That's right yeah well. So he's admitted a thousand times that he's a crooked attacks cheat and then they have all the documentation millions and millions of examples pages document and two sets of books and two sets of books and so when the hell are we going to see trump. Suffer some consequences. I'm ready. i read something today. That said ivanka might be the next one. Yeah she right and that she might throw daddy under the bus. Did you see daddy. I see that best steady. Yes if you wouldn't mind just stepping under it for a second. So i don't have to go to jail on your behalf i would really abeche. Anchor is numbered is going to go to jail. You know it's gonna be you. And not me i will. I will at least make my perp walk in some really adorable and high heels but daddy. I'm going to pretty much squeal. Okay i'm ready. Bring it on. Bring it on baby. I wanna see that entire look. I never want to see that family. But i still wanna see them all have to raise their hand and swear an oath to tell the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth because they don't know what it means and they won't tell the truth anyway not. He didn't tell the truth when he did his depositions he'd light on tape. How come that happened. And he wasn't called on it legally. I don't know i don't know. And therein lies a big problem. The problem we already know. What the republicans are we know what they're doing. We know we see the insanity. The problem is the democrats are just toothless. There's spineless their feckless. They got no fact they got they got no fair dome the fec. What the fac gin. You get off your asses and do something already. You know i just heard. Randi rhodes is out again today so she had a best dub going. I had it on in the background. And she was talking about nancy. Pelosi calling for the select committee and then the news reports came too early. And she's not and she is and she is what just do it. God damn just fucking do. It is like we're talking about you and i were talking about this before the show too. It's like with biden. He's done a lot of good thing. He's better than i thought he'd be and the same as he thought i'd be in other ways right and but one of the things i like so much about. His first few weeks is that he was coming out. Like gangbusters so he was must be bold. And let's do this and we're going to do this and and it was fantastic. And everybody was cheering him on it was. He was getting the encouragement. He needed so now. Though when it comes to Negotiations and voter voter suppression voting rights. And what was the infrastructure delight. Yup and whatever he he says some things but he doesn't say them often enough and forcefully exactly is so interested in i to- by saying i totally get why he's doing the bipartisan deal because he will get them votes in the long run. It will look what i got done right. I accomplish something right and that is a good thing but don't let the other stuff go away just because you're busy with that. It's great that you're busy with that. Keeping busy with the infrastructure get us some real climate change infrastructure happening. Go for it. Reconciliation dog said all right. They're getting a mike and talk about it exactly but you said climate change infrastructure one of the issues. That's being seems to be being bargained away in dealing with the republicans are all climate change. Changes stuff you know. All those things to mitigate what's happening with the climate there was a lot of it in the original one. And i guess they're saying thinking well we can put it in the in the reconciliation part ackley. But you know there's too much of it. There's a lot of it that needs to get done. And if he lets the republicans off the hook for all of it and we somehow get it passed we somehow and i think it's a longshot. Get both the bipartisan infrastructure. Bill and then the reconciliation democrats only bill. I again it's going to be very heavy lift But if they do get it done. The republicans are going to take credit for all of it which they did for the rescue land and everything else that they voted against now. They're fine y'all although he's called them out for that which is good. Yeah yeah. I mean he. He's he is better than obama was some of the ways handling things. He's he's subtle about it a little more subtle but he gets the point across. But i want see him. Get off feisty again. I want to see him get out there and say hey we're gonna get voting rights. Were and somebody please address. Will i'm coming up to a tweet on this that we're going to talk about. But will they get out there and address the fact that blue waiver note bluewave if they overturn an election voting rights. Laws won't matter right because they will take whatever votes that were accumulated on our side and throw them out the window of course and the supreme court last week basically undid what was left of section to the voting rights act which all that was left standing after they gutted section five five years ago so here we are with no protections with a with a militantly right wing supreme court right and justice brier after all the calls for him to resign. Step down and retire. He made newsouth. He hired new clerks for next term..

US say that we Basically and he may centric. You know, Japanese animation on forms, and we've mostly play until this one he's doing in Japan Still like here and really starting to love hearing. Sorry. So the gentlemen of the heavy metal scene one more corpse If you got a saying from Cuba, by the way, Sorry, I gotta tell you, it was so hard to get up on stage. It was very painful. You know which Randy not being there? Because nothing really changed once for production off the show goes, you know, we went on stage We were with the same castles, you know, with the same dwarf running around. Same intro to direct a madman. Randy blame that, wearing the same stage, quoting same set, nothing changed for production. But when I look over to my left Randy wasn't there? Yeah, Yeah, that's that was the one ready Roads going into the Hall of Fame is awesome. Not can't just saying that he was a great guitar player. That's also know that they were gonna get about the big, big, Big One that gets all the headlines is jz Jz is going to be a season a rock'n'roll Hall of fame, You know, Listen, they're taking a lots of different genres. Now he ain't the first hip hop guy to go win. There's a whole bunch of it was the Music Hall of Fame now, right this week. They should do some crap. This is that was Madonna's rock n roll She's in. I think I'd like to your point think there's many other rappers or hip hop artists in the Music hall, and it's just quiet. Sneaking in next to Jay Z. L. Oh, Cool J's going in. That's see. I like that, like looking. And then and then I'll throw you just a few more quick ones here. I gotta think this probably given that Tina Turner had to wait this long and Billy Preston to wait this long. How are the Foo fighters going in right now? Well, they're darlings. You know, young ones, too little too new and not as epic and it is like that The Pearl Jam went in there. Suppose hands pretty epic process. Where everything The Foo fighters. Listen, I'm just trying to enjoy the food. Fight it, but they're not rock and roll. All of fame worthy alongside of Tina Turner. That like a Tina Turner, Billy Preston did. They belong in that in 10 years from now, Hold on. What's the Hall of Fame divides.

"Com Go for launch speaking truth to power, the Randi Rhodes show, all right, We're gonna go into the courtroom and dip into it. But I just want to let you know that the defense has two points to their case. The first point in the defense's case is that The amount of force that was used against George Floyd was appropriate and that it was commensurate with the training that Derek Shelvin received. Now we've heard police officer after police officer after police officer of every rank. That you could possibly listen to tell us from the sergeant to a lieutenant. Now to the chief that this is not part of their training. None of what happened here was an appropriate use of force. Okay? The chief just testified to that fact. So all that the defense has left is cause of death. Okay. And they're going to argue that the cause of death was a heart attack and or drugs, Okay? And this morning we did get a bit of testimony from the ER doctor who called George Floyd's death who actually was the doctor who said George Floyd had passed? And he's He testified this morning that the cause of death was asphyxiation. Meaning George Floyd was suffocated. All right. This is chief Aaron Dondo on the stand, Um He does hey, so far has testified that This is not Appropriate use of force. Nor is it provided in the training to do this. Okay, So we now have the defense stepping up and they're going to cross examine Chief Arundhati No. This is Eric Nichols for The defense for Derek Shelvin, his attorney. He's just getting us papers together. Papers place papers. Bobby Yellow, legal bad. Hello when she heard on. Good afternoon, counselor. Thank you for being here this afternoon. And this morning. A few follow up questions for you regarding This incident. Your your determinations today are in reference to employment policies. On via Mr Sheldon's actions violating the Department of Employment policies. Correct that is correct. Now as the police chief, I assume that you're not out on the street day today, arresting people. That is correct. Can you just give me a general sense? When's the last time that you've? Actually I don't mean to be dismissive, but actually all right, you will be. It's been many years, sir. Yes. Your your role is the Minneapolis police chief is sort of grander in its scope, right? I mean, it's it, Z. Large and context and the operations of the department. Yes, and part of that job is to be sort of aware of issues and policing kind of policy changes. Use of force changes. All of these things under fall under the umbrella of your role as the chief agreed. Yes, and you're sort of the general in a sense, right? Formulating the plan for your police department. And delegating some of those tour subject matter. Experts. Yes, correct. When you talk about training of a police officer, you would also include the training that the Minneapolis Police Department goes through. You may go toe. Other training's out out of state. Listen to speakers talking about issues that confront police, right? Yes, as well as maybe a homicide detective will get permission to travel to uninjured. Ewing, a suspect type of Training in some other state or location, right? Yes, And so there's there is a very ability within the training depending upon your role as in the police department, right? Yes, so that you've got sort of your rank and file Basic patrol officers, and they go through all of the trainings that you've described the defensive tactics, medical assistance or basic medical training. Crisis intervention things that we've been talking about here today, Right? Yes, and then the investigative type officers. They might may go to some additional have to go through that training, but they may go through some additional training in terms of How to interview suspects or how to properly collect evidence, etcetera, unique to their role, right?.

"I would say that I could like you. I could probably do three or four days a week a day in between, to make me want it again. But like if we expanded, I could have Italian food every day between pizza and different kind of pastas. But even that if you look at some point, you're gonna have to get tired of it. No doubt. I don't know how you guys could eat the same thing every day for an entire week. I just have to mix it up a little bit. I could eat my favorite meal, maybe two or three times a week. But I have to. I have to miss it a little bit too come backto love it as much. So for Chipotle, I could probably each poli three times a week and be fine. Be happy with it. I think if I started getting into four days a week, which means I got to go back to back If I had to eat it every single day. No, I not interested. The only I'll add to this and we're only gonna get a little further because there's so many so many things. You have to go over with this Keith Smith situation. He gives you a specific meal you're saying Could you reach a Polish chipotle is such an eclectic menu. It's true, But I'm talking about just your favorite order because I get the same thing every single time. Exactly that I could do seventy's a week. But if we're just playing chipotle bingo off the menu, I mean, I could go a month. Easy. Okay, so you could eat you. Could you eat it for every meal if you could just pick anything off the menu? Yeah. I don't know what I do for breakfast. I guess I'd go some kind of cheese case of the of some sort. But, yeah, I mean and leave if we're eliminated affected on breakfast foods. Lunch and dinner. For sure. I could eat chipotle off that menu everyday from month lunch and dinner, Not a problem. But his very is their menu is you really could come up with different themes of the day. It's still a meat and veggies and cheese and rice in a burrito. There isn't there is variety, but there's really not that much variety but isn't meat and veggies. Your life right? Like everything's meat veggies, for the most part. But I mean those meon. Those veggies are They are prepared a very specific way. I mean, the chicken doesn't taste like different chicken. Just because you put it in a bowl or have some cream. Right off of that. The carne eat is the barbacoa. The carny Assad chicken, You know, oversight. It's Friday. You even had the same thing twice. Well, you've had a burrito every single day that alright Burrito taco case of the social hard shell making up your contract Supremes a lot off the menu stuff. Tamales, Keith Smith found. Fullback. Falcons fullback says he eats Tripoli 4 to 5 times a day. Let's start here. Do we believe him? All right. I believe him, but I also think he's a fraud. Okay. Hot dogs. Do you believe him? I think I'm going. I think I want to go where Sean is going to go here, so I think he's not. He's actually to me not having Chipotle a four times a day. That makes sense because he's not having the true chipotle a experience in my eyes. Okay, so I tend to lean this way as well. I also think he's lying. I do not think he goes into Chipotle four or five times a day. That would be insane. Imagine standing in that that's like half your day. You're a professional athlete. You've got to be at meetings. Okay? I guess you could get door dash or uber eats or whatever, but you're telling me you're gonna get five different delivery of the day. So that's like every 90 minutes. You're getting another uber eats delivery from chipotle late or going to get it. I think he's lying. I just I don't think there's any way you would. You would consume your day with going to the same place five different times. I don't think he's lying, but I don't think that's what he said. He said he meal perhaps. That is where me and focus you're going with this thing D A. He orders the chicken, the rice and the beans. Any meal? Perhaps that Which is why I think he's a bit of a fraud. Ah, that is four or five times a day. He actually means he orders one big load of this early in the day and then just eat throughout the day, Which is why I think he's a fraud because What he's eating 45 times a day might be the equivalent of a burrito bowl and a half that any of us could eat it. One plowing dinner. He just separates a cup of rice here, maybe half a cup of chicken here. And he separates the bulls. Anto or a little You know, meals. He has 45 times a day. So there's a big catchy headline. But if you listen to quote and this is why d a given credit, pull the audio guys pull the audio. I would not have had to stake its oil so that audio He's a fraud. He doesn't eat chipotle 45. There's a light in the most literal sense. He does, but that's not eating Chipotle four or five times a day. That's giving up your chipotle saying I'll have a little later. That's doing what Pete does with sandwich of bringing it all and I gotta send. I think this is where Boggs is going. Just eating chicken, rice and beans from Tripoli is not really eating Chipotle E. It is not even a full bowl that he spreads out over 45 meals a day. If all you eat is the chicken, rice and beans, anybody can make that. I mean, Randi Rhodes Arena here, dear. Yeah, it's just having somebody make your chicken, your rice and your beans and There's no sour cream. There's no guac. There's no shredded cheese. There's no lettuce. There's no salt, so there's no medium solves. There's no Tabasco sauce. There's no tortilla chips there. That's not really even eating Chipotle. And so if he meal, perhaps it it's really just having like a catering service make you chicken, rice and beans, and then you just kind of spread it out the right day. Bingo day. This is why we talk through things here in 8 13 am Eastern. You start thinking is a big, catchy headline. And you were the best at being detectives and going under covering stories. People who want to take the time to undercover, you know, he says, the sun apart case people go nuts. And now we've talked through this on unravel asshole thing. Keith Smith is a fraud. And, frankly, if I'm chipotle, you look at him as a spokesperson. I'm disappointed in you Want somebody for Tripoli? 45 times a day. I'll sit there and I'll stick five burritos in my mouth hole all day. You know, meal prep it in this house. There's no doubt I could do that. You get a little bowl of chicken, rice and beans and you want to separate into a couple cups a day. That's not eating 45 times a day. You my friend are a fraud. Even if he is getting four full orders of that and then spreading them out That to me is still not eating Chipotle Lay 45 times a day. I loved your polo. With all due respect, if you only want is chicken, rice and beans. That's not the place you go to you confined Mexican restaurant in your neighborhood. You can find a chef.

"Only enough to catch up to those crackles. Yes, they were out over the plate. So you know pictures did not locate the way they should have. But the swing was so crisp and Smooth and natural and look, Let's talk about what it does to the ball club to see their best there, you know, arguably perform. I mean, it is absolute huge boost for the ball club for the offense. Now they're sitting with confidence that they can go forward and really compete with this very point lineup, But the Dodgers have Carlos mania is joining us. All right. So what about Randi Rhodes Arena when you watch him play and the way he's broken out this postseason? I mean, like Carlos, the biologist explodes off this guy's bat as one hitter watching another What sticks out to you the most in terms of how he's able tto barrel up the ball consistently. And I'm gonna dive in a little bit deeper. Far sitting is concerned, I think sometimes we look at you know, I gotta hand eye coordination, hand eye coordination, you know, And yes, we do need hand eye coordination to be great hitters in the big league level. But I'm not concerned about hitters in the big leagues actually intersecting the pitch line, You know, that's always done. The key is to actually do it at the right time. That's why hitters when they have that loopy swing. It's very difficult to make contact. Because if you're not on time you're swinging and missing. All right, well, Randhir old Serena's one of these guys have a very, very flat swing. So you've got two things going for himself. He is on the pitch line for very, very, very long time. More than most. So forget about swinging up. I don't believe in that long jangle thing if you are thinking about it in terms of swinging up Launch angle happens after you hit the baseball, all right, and it's all Serena gets on the pitch line immediately, so that gives him a lot of margin for error. Now, if you add to that very good timing, then The production just comes. It's just exactly what happens. We have that perfect formula, and Randy Rosaria has been doing precisely that. On the path online with the pitch and on time. That is the perfect formula for success and its own offensive player, and I'm glad you went deep on that Carlos Panya joining us right, so called his Tampa Bay's famous also in the way they handled their bullpen, and they're not afraid to shake up their lineup, either. In the past, a lot of relievers would prefer to have a specific role either is a set up man or a specialist or a closer. The Rays, of course, do not take that approach. How is Kevin Cash and the rest of the organization? Gotten everybody to buy in and be prepared to deliver no matter what role they're given. And I'm so glad you pointed that out, because I think traditionally we've seen guys so Hey, man, I just I want to make sure I get to the park and I I'm hitting forward. You know, I'm clean up. I don't even look at the lineup. I know where I'm hitting that used to be the narrative. And people and players, you know, used to always say that that's what they would prefer. But here we are in a totally different style of play. I think we can say that about both all clubs. You mentioned a different line of 59 different line up for the race or in the regular season 57 for the Dodgers. They have the same style play. Even though the you know the money, they spend a totally different I mean, it's lopsided in that regard, but cash has done a great job. Of communicating to players, the importance of everyone just contributing, and it's remarkable to me so important to me to see how everyone has bought in. In essence, if you are a picture of the Tampa Bay Rays, you are not Designed any specific role. Your job is to put all fires or to prevent the house from getting on fire. All right, that is your role. It is very ambiguous, Which means that at any moment you could be called upon to put out a fire or preventing The house from bidding on fire. That is the mentality off the entire pitching staff. And if you are hitter you're there to do damage. You're there to go on a search and destroy mission. Where you know where. What? What? What is the target? It doesn't matter to you. You are ready to be deployed in from allowed in a world of respect, You know the talk in military terms. I'm just ready to be deployed. Whenever I don't know what my job. I'm living my target, and I'm going to destroy and that's your job as a hitter, Regardless, whether you're hitting leadoff cleanup or laugh, it does not matter Now is you always man. Target's Target's Just knock down your target's find your target lock in on the target. What's so call us? What if you are an opposing hitter? How much does your approach to the game change when you know you're going to see a different pitcher? Every single time you stepped to the plate? Well, it should change it should change in but but unfortunately I would say that I look at hitters there behind in that in that in that sense because they're not preparing to hunt. The picture. So in other words, you could go in at 162 game season and pretty much that parameters. You know, it's for variables are concerned. I'm gonna get deep again hit him, but And this is the thing I've had experience. So I'm talking about the application, but also now that I'm retired, and just slowly studying this, I also have the theory and the signs behind it to match. What I'm what I'm talking about..

"He's been called us. I'm glad you said it because when you got Blake still on the mound, and the Dodgers are going with Tony Gosselin and fought by bunch relievers, and they've lost Game one that they had to win that game to me. That definitely was a must win game. What was your reaction when Brandon La went deep in the first inning? And then how big of a moment was that? For the Rays, not just in the game, but in the entire series. That's absolutely huge, because Brandon, it's one of those pillars in that lineup, and he had not been Performing, you know, Let's just be quite honest. He's been struggling during the postseason and a lot of times. You know, when we look at hitters, we start thinking what's wrong with this swing? Well, let me tell you that usually what? We're looking at symptoms. You know when we see swings, breakdown is not because the swing itself is wrong because the timing is wrong. So we got to go to the root of the problem, and I thought he made a greater Justin yesterday. I'm getting ready earlier. He's been late on fastballs, fouling pitches off even though while I was right right on that fast, I just missed. You know you were late. You were few degrees late. A few critics Slate, and I thought he did a better job of getting ready early enough to catch up to those crackles. Yes, they were out over the plate. So you know pictures did not locate the way they should have. But the swing was so crisp and smooth and natural. And look, Let's talk about what it does to the ball club to see their better, you know, arguably Perform. I mean, it is absolute, a huge boost for the ball club for the offense, and now they're sitting with confidence that they can go forward and really compete with this very point, Lina, But the Dodgers have mania is joining us. All right. So what about Randi Rhodes Arena when you watch him play and the way he's broken out this postseason? I mean, like Carlos, the ball just explodes off this guy's bat as one hitter watching another What sticks out to you the most in terms of How he's able to barrel up the ball consistently. Mom, I'm gonna dive in a little bit deeper. You know, Far sitting is concerned, I think Sometimes we look at you know what? Go ahead and eye coordination, hand eye coordination, you know, And yes, we do need hand eye coordination to be great hitters in the big league level. But I'm not concerned about hitters in the big leagues actually intersecting the pitch line, You know, that's always done. The key is You actually do it at the right time. The race, of course, do not take that approach. I'm clean up. I don't even look at the lineup. I know where I'm hitting that used to be the narrative. And people in players, you know, used to always say that that's what they would prefer. But here we are in a totally different style of play. I think we can say that about both clubs. You mentioned a different line of 59 different lineups for the race during the regular season 57 for the Dodgers. They have the same style play, even though the you know the money, they spend a totally different I mean, it's lopsided in that regard, but cash has done a great job. Of communicating to players, the importance of everyone just contributing, and it's remarkable to me so important to me to see how everyone has bought in. In essence, if you are a pitcher for the Tampa Bay Rays, you are not Designed any specific role. Your job is to put all fires or to prevent the house from getting on fire. That is your role. Whenever I don't know what my job is. I'm looking for my target, and I'm going to destroy and that's your job as a hitter. Regardless, whether you're hitting cleanup or laugh, it does not matter Now is you always man. Target's Target's Just knock down your target's find your target lock on the target. What's so, Carlos? What if you're an opposing hitter? How much does your approach to the game change when you know you're going to see a different picture every single time you step to the plate? Well, it should right. It should change him. But But unfortunately I would say that I look at hitters there behind in that that in that sense because they're not preparing to hunt. The picture. So in other words, you could go in at 162 game season and putting much that parameters. You know, its variables are concerned. I'm gonna get deep again hitting but and this is the thing I've had experience. So I'm talking about the application, but also now that I'm retired, and just slowly studying this I also have the theory and the signs behind it to match. What I'm what I'm talking about. If you just set parameters and basically you see, I'm just gonna look away. Reacting And that's your approach during the world Series of short stories, you know you may never get that pitch within the parameters. You said 162 game season. You will get some pictures in that area enough to put up the numbers in a sure Siri's. You better get out there and hunt the picture that's on the mound. How you have to know what they throw. You have to know what they go to win. You have to sit on these pitches, and not only that be ready for the speed of those pictures for your timing is on powerful bills. That's how you defeat. You know these really Ah, tough pitchers on both sides. Really?.

"I mean, Kevin Cure Myers again. It makes a lot of money. Charlie Morton's ago makes $16 million. So it's not like they spend no money in it. But again, these guys get by on fleecing people like they did in the Pirates in the Austin Meadows and, Ah Chris Archer treat and they get by own savvy front office decisions like getting G Man Choi for nothing. Randi Rhodes Arena for nothing. I mean, I'm pretty sure the Cardinals which they had that one back right now. Yeah, I would say so. And that is the other thing Like when you think about it. The accomplishment is a front office as a front office. You brag about that right? Because if you can't spend money, that's an ownership problem. That's that's not the GM saying, You know what What if guys, let's let's have a meeting. Okay? What if we had the 28th payroll in the MLB? We still tried to win every anyway people you're like, What's wrong with you? That is the craziest decision you could ever possibly say, you know, But if you have ownership that doesn't want to spend the money. Well, then you flaunt that a little bit. You go. You know what? They didn't give us anything. We had a limited budget, and we made it work anyway. Here we are in the World Series. You look at that. You got to be proud of it. But as a fan again, you got ownership involved in that changes things a little bit of theatre. Part of the equation to is like People from the Res Front office should just be pulled every single year. Like every single year. People from that front office need to be leading teams around the league. They just have to be like, how do you not look at that and go for a team that's consistently competitive or or when they sell off? They? You know, they go through those cycles for them to be the way that they've been over the years, like every year. I mean, literally the same way it was two years ago, every guy that knew Sean McVeigh was getting a head coaching job in the NFL. Somebody that's with the Rays needs a gig. It's just It's crazy for them to do this all the time. Hasn't it already started out in the Phillies? Higher McLyntock from the razor moment? No. Unfortunately, they didn't hire somebody from the Rays. They hired Clinton Act from the Angels. Okay, horribly horribly. I spoke. Yeah. No, that was well, that's fine. I make mistakes, so I mean, you see the Red Sox general manager Hime Bloom came from the res, and he basically tore it down to build it back up again, if that's what's going on. Yeah, them specifically and it works. And I know there's another guy right now that is a hot front office candidate for the raise. His name escapes me right now, but there's definitely a guy out there. I know Phillies fans since Klentak failed and they need a new GM. They're screaming for a guy that's from the Rays of the guy in Houston. Running the show is James Clique who now who was in the race for an office after everybody got cleaned out. Good Houston's and that's what it should be. It should just be let you go, you go. You look at the Rays you say. All right, Who is the next guy in line and I'm just gonna take that guy. That's what needs to be for now. They just do such a great job. It's amazing it again. They beat the Astros in order to do this, and that's that's the other side of this equation. As the Rays go and make the World Series You look the Houston Astros, and it's just a sigh of relief from everybody in America. That doesn't live in Houston that the Astros are gonna make it and I gotta tell you, it's It's funny because a week ago on this show, I'm thinking about the Astros and where they were. And at that point just qualifying for the A. L. C s. I go. You know what? This is great for baseball. It is like Having the Houston Astros go as far as they did is a good thing for baseball, and you could make the argument that it would be better for baseball if they made the World Series right And that's that's a pretty good argument to make. Because everybody likes villain, right? I mean, the best example I can give you When I was in college, right? I wasn't a good student, but I was there and when I would leave the class like Let's say the first one or two classes. You're trying to make friends. You just try to make small talk. You get out of class. You look to the person you're right. And you go, man. So that teacher wolf, am I right? Like you just you just say something to bash the teacher to give you a common common enemy. I give you something to talk about and for the Astros. Everybody hates them, and it's easy for the whole baseball world really and beyond to rally around. The idea of the Astros didn't make it. Or rather, the Astros, you know, trying to win a World Series and falling short, So in a way, it's a missed opportunity for baseball like I would bet secretly, they were rooting for the Astros to make it they would never admit it. Not a good look for Major league baseball. Who, you know, with all the problems of the punishments they did and didn't give and how that whole thing went. It wouldn't look good for them to be like, Yeah, you know, Rob Manfred was sitting in his office and it turns out he cursed when the Astros lost that game like that, That's not going to fly. But Wouldn't be a little bit more for the casual fan to bring those people in for the long term future of the game. Wouldn't that be better for Major League baseball? If the Astros made it like it feels like a victory? And that's the thing is as much as it could be a benefit for baseball. I got to tell you tonight. I'm in the hallway here. And I'm getting ready for the show, and it's the eighth inning. And the Astros air down to and they've got a couple of men on and there's two outs and I'm looking at it and You get the strikeout..

A guy with a couple of big base hits like that or a home run and a base hit. Can maybe start to work his way back. I think that could only help at that time there up to nothing. If you know anything about this raised team, you know they're not going down without a fight, even up three games to none, and they really are not going down without a big hit from Randy arose Arena. And but but I had many friends, unfortunately, who I had to accompany on appointments to terminate a pregnancy, because they were just not ready. Now, do I think my friends practiced safe birth control. Yeah. But shit happens and I was talking to my daughter about this, who is now twenty she's a young adult. And I had to explain to her that, because of Donald Trump, everything is. Likely changing in our country in our world. And I was telling her this in the context of the importance of voting. But I also had to explain to her to be even doubly careful when she is engaging in sexual activity to be protected because while as of now a woman in this country has a legal right to a safe abortion, for whatever reason is her reason, what's right for the woman, her body, her family. Her husband if there is one. And this. Group of cells that if allowed to continue growing would eventually become a child, what is in her uterus. When she finds out she's pregnant at six weeks. Eight weeks anytime in those early days is it's, it's not even a fetus. It says zygote it's a collection of cells. And for these disingenuous. Holier than now out holes who insist on calling it an unborn child. No, I almost got. Well, I raised a bit of controversy. Some years ago was guest hosting for Randi Rhodes when she was still on premiere radio networks. And I mentioned when once again, we were talking about the Republicans trying to overturn Roe v. Wade. And I mentioned that, you know, until the fetus can live outside of the body on its own. It is a parasite of sorts. It cannot live without the mother or the host bodies nourishment. A fetus that's growing inside a mother is a parasite. I don't mean it in an ugly, kind of way I mean it in a scientific way speaking as a non scientist it feeds off the nourishment. It gets from being attached to the mother. If it is removed from that mother's body. It cannot survive on its own, therefore, it is not a person. It is a feet as and as such, it is part of the mother's body and the mother has the ultimate right to decide what to do with it. But regardless, I had to tell my kid you know as careful as you are double down on it triple down on it. Because if you pregnant in the not too distant future, there will be no way. Out, you will have to carry that pregnancy to term. I can't believe I'm saying this on may sixteenth two thousand nineteen. But I, I guess let's just let's just do it low. All right. We'll do it long. Yeah. I and I wish I didn't have to. But here's how this report begins Republican governor Kay Ivey of Alabama yesterday. Signed the Bill, the Bill, which outlaws almost all abortions in the state, including in cases of rape, and incest, the law was written to trigger court challenges, which abortion, opponents hope will lead a conservative majority on the US supreme court to overturn Roe v. Wade, you don't control this. You don't own this democratic lawmakers outrage. There is no lie in this country on the books that says what a man can or cannot do with his body interesting and abortion rights advocates calling for a nationwide response today, the nation's most restrictive abortion law. All those in favor. Republican men was precious. Life is a gift. Of our creator now you in my womb, I won't you out the law, effectively bans abortion by making it a felony punishable by up to ninety nine years or life in prison for performing the procedure. The law, does it clued very limited exceptions, such as serious health risk to the mother Democrats attempted to add an amendment to exempt victims of rape, and incest..

Now is the time we not have to upset the apple cart. We have to turn the damn thing over the green new deal all day long. Maybe all day long with green new deal on climate on Justice on jobs on food on health on housing and more convinced today after I'm sure well, not sure, but maybe you've seen the video of the committee hearing yesterday. Good morning, everybody eight oh seven and this is in Minnesota. All right. So when we when we last left, here's what officers who received a nine one one call by the dude his name is Dwayne Johnson. Not the rock. So we're all clear here. So Dwayne Johnson called nine one one around noon reported that his wife had died. Officers say they arrived at the home found the words death party party spelled P A P A R D E God hell spray painted on the front door. They observed a naked Dwayne Johnson run outside saying that his wife died then run back inside and run into a bathroom jump into a bath. Police say when they entered the the bathroom he was in the tub hallucinating trying to wash white and black things from his skin. Whereas Ross calls it Friday. Okay. Deborah Johnson spotty. The wife found wrapped in a sheet on top of the stairs. So that's where we left. You probably have a lot of questions. I and a lot of questions. Let me attempt to answer them. See according to the story his wife. Deborah had been living in a nursing home. With some significant health issues and. She was she was in the final stages and made a decision to not take her medication anymore and wanted to go out with a bang. So her husband came and actually retrieved it from the nursing home just a few days before that she she told staff she wanted to die at home. According to Johnson. They then decided that they would throw a party for themselves. And take a bunch of meth. And I don't know if he was attempting to kill himself as well. Or this is just, you know, for the for the wife, but that's how they wanted to do basically have her odiaun meth, the they would this is their plan as stated they would take a bunch of methamphetamine and then spend their final hours together having sex and listening to quiet riot.
