"Hi Dylan how are you? Gentlemen thank you so much for taking my call. I appreciate it surmount what's up in your world. So. I am curly trying to pay off a truck removed for about. Back in February Stupid decision we financed that we still owe about eighteen thousand on it. my decision I'm thinking we should sell the truck and get you know we'll beater to drive around him my wife. Musset keep the truck and keep trying to pay it off but she's not really on board with the baby steps to pay it off. She just wants to kind of pay it off as we can I, keep trying to save money to throw out at. She's not really okay with just throwing money at it she wants it to pay off. You know in the time that we wanted, which was a few years and I disagree I don't know how to get her on board with me 'cause it's. kind of killing me. How old are you? Gosh. I'm twenty six. She's twenty seven How long you been married? we got married last year in November. Oh okay. All right. Cool. So Dylan who's the spender in this family? It was me. and then it stopped being me and she started spending a little more than I was, and now it's kind of. The roles swish a little bit. So she was the spender and the Save Island suspender, and then we kind of. Gotcha here's the thing that I'm missing here. New describe stuff I. I want you to talk to your wife about why why are you wanting to pay off the truck like what's the thing that's motivating you and it really is more a matter of you sharing from the heart like right now you're trying to get tactical and she doesn't understand the heart behind it all, and so are you motivated to be able to prepare your foundation or you want to get prepared to have a baby and grow your family lately like I think you need to talk more heart to heart and less tactical right now and I think you know her? Well I know her reasoning for want him to keep it is because we do plan on starting a family soon and she says if Rebel vehicle and I understand. that. But I also think until their families Kinda started. that would be you know. I. Know I did that stupid two years ago it turns out babies or. Small. And I was the dummy that thought we needed an SUV that fit eight people and it was only three of us at the time. So you again the reliable vehicle yes payment. No and I think connecting with her and talking from the heart and helping her plug in and understanding this process of the baby steps. It's the roadmap baby. It's the plan that lead you to be able to do more than you ever thought you could for yourself and your family, and so it sounds like you guys need to get aligned and get over into Ramsey plus. Yeah. Let's let's get you guys signed up for that I'll. I'll give you a year in it and just start watching some of the financial peace university lessons together. Yeah. I think you do need to quit talking about what to do and start talking about why? And just go the reason I'm excited about this idea of being out of debt is I. Think we could build some serious wealth and that would allow us to blank blank blank. Right what allow you to be outrageously generous allows us to make sure we can provide for a family and pay for our kids college and You know we'll be able to travel. We'll be able to do this and certainly will be able to have a reliable safe vehicle for children You may or may not need to sell the truck but I'm not. Really concerned about the truck right now, the because the truck is a is a minor issue compared to you guys being on the same page. It doesn't matter if you do everything right. If you're dragging her along or vice versa it, you know it's just like trying you know trying to drag a boat anchor behind something we don't see any couples become financially. Successful unless they work together I, mean none it just doesn't work, and so getting on the same page is a big deal. Then you can decide whether to sell the truck or not But yeah, it's a big deal behind that. So hang on Kelly L. Pickup we'll get your setup Ramsey Ramsay plush, and that'll be our wedding gift to your newlyweds and you're learning how to handle money together and that's a that's you know sometimes, the first year is the best year sometimes. The first year is a really rough year. It's all a process I mean you're learning how to speak a new language right and instead of speaking me, you're speaking we and you're starting to work together. So going to take a lot of time a lot of patients and a process and as men we tend to think one conversation is enough. This is an ongoing dialogue where sharing your heart and talking about the process. Yeah I told you want twenty years ago you know. Our Rebecca's in Nashville. Hi, Becca. Welcome to the Dave Ramsey show. Hey Dave how are you? Deserve how can you help? Well I was my husband and I we were wondering if you could give him some financial advice we are both debt free. And, we have around fifty thousand states outright now is wondering if you could tell us what would be the best strategy to use that we currently renting, we want to buy a house. potentially start a business. We're not sure what kind of business. And Invest we were wondering what would be the best way to use that. Since you don't have a business idea and you don't have a business plan I. Think the next order of business is for you to buy the home. Let's get in that. Get settled in and make sure we're continuing to save. You've done a great job saving. And So yeah, I think you know you need to hold back on Emergency Fund of three to six months of expenses but. You know you don't WanNa hold money or pour money into something as far as business out of the equation where you don't have a very airtight thought out detailed plan. Because that money I'll just leave. You know you just throwing money up against the wall see if it'll stick that's just a bad idea and so. You know later on when you fully developed Your Business Plan and you thought you know exactly what to do then I think you can scratch the money together while you're living in a home to do that I agree Dave at that Emergency Fund. Again, going back to what we've walked through the culprit pandemic there's never been more validation for an emergency fund than right now if you're out there and you don't have three to six months, tucked away to be able. To be a cushion between you and life I don't know what you've been watching like. You know you've got to see this and understand and have that never again moment I'll never forget you said that during that pandemic never again am I gonNA allow myself to be in this position to make a decision between food on the table and lights on and that was something that really resonated where you gotta go. Yeah. You have to draw that line in the sand. I'm done I'm that's not gonNA happen anymore when you finally say, I've had it. That's right. I've had it. That's when people changed their lives. You Re Rebecca hold. Kelly if you would send her a copy of days, entreleadership if you're thinking about a business I went to Grad School and their village idiots, they're talking about Oh pm other people's money and leveraging you need to know how to do it the right way and entree.

"Aw So grandmasters today. i-e-she they're no longer smoking and drinking and partying well tonight. which by the way is a whole tangent? I would love to hear about some other time. Treating chess like any other sport their training for it with great discipline and you spent spent time with a couple of these masters in rural Missouri. What can you tell me about them? They have these strict diets that the raid. They they have salad bar. Shrimp beef stew mashed potatoes. They want to get protein carbs and fat in the right amount so their body league sort of like preps for the amount they go through during the course of tournament but the other thing. That's really interesting. is they go into these intense detox. More when Fabio Kawana you WanNa pay the world championship. Last year he Stop drinking three months before the tournament began like he like He. He was studying me how it was his birthday. He still decided not to even have a glass of wine because he realized that he needed to like shock his body into sort of listening into him so they have these like really intense food desmond that they follow. It's quite crazy. He put together an elaborate dietary Terry and workout regimen. How did you go about doing that? This was also a crazy thing right so before big tournaments you know what he does. He sort of Takes himself out of the real world so he'll drive three hours from Saint Louis to like the middle of nowhere misery. Find like a cabin Find find a few chess grandmasters who are also free available to come with him and he will chart out a week before the tournament would. He would intensely intensely physically strain and also prepped for the tournament. So he'll do our running in the morning and then he'll eat his breakfast and then he'll play a six hours so mocked ornaments and then he do half hour basketball and our tennis and a place in our swimming. After does he have people helping being with us. Yes so so. He has a training partner. WHO's Romanian grandmaster Christian Jarallah and so he also sort of looks like a soccer player and has these like he does like two hours of cardio everyday lives a lot of ways to build muscle mass because muscle mass is the first thing that you lose when you stop working out and have long hours of sitting and playing chess games while not eating as much much as you should be and so Christian and Fob He worked together the prep for the harm. How common is this sort of intense the physical regimen amok chess grandmasters? It's becoming quite common so India's first grandmaster wish another Annand love him to pieces he's phenomenal. He just hours of cardio every night just to tire himself out. So he doesn't dream about chess and then jury ladas at least an hour of cardio cardio an hour waits to build Muslims before armaments and Reuss. Tom Who is also an a a grandma's trains with FOB. He he Ten basketball every day And he drinks only during tournaments to sort of like prep his body to be caffeine and sugar carefree FOB. Yano is the number to chess player in the world. Number one is the world champion. The bad boy the sport as you said. Magnus Carlsen does he have a similar workout routine so Kalson is sort of the you the best example. He has figured that out down to the very last detail like before tournaments will work out for hours even on treadmills. He'll you hours of yoga. He plays soccer with his friends And he before the world championship last year he went skiing everyday and tweeted that it strengthened his legs and his willpower to get to the finish line and he has a personal chef whose name was also magnus weirdly and he travels with him everywhere Making sure that he eat the right amount of proteins and carbs and calcium and during games the crazy thing that he's perfected the way he sits so he'll sit at an angle that's not so with. His neck is not to crane so the oxygen supply is perfect from your heart. You're from his heart to his brain He Chews Gum during games to increase his brain function And because chewing gum doesn't really you don't lose any energy but your brain is constantly active. And he stops his leg legs rhythmically to make sure that his brain and body or alert To the move so he he has sort of perfected. Every single aspect of the physical game has magnus always. He's been this attentive to his body. Well it's interesting so he Why he has been constantly perfecting the way he plays the game on and off the board right but he hasn't adopted some new strategies for example he was a big orange juice drinker? rinker during Games. So he'll have an glass of orange juice which he so. It's half orange juice and half water next to him at all times and suddenly a few years ago we stopped seeing oranges. And there was this huge thing on twitch. Where everybody's like? Where's the oranges? What happened to it and So like side note we crazy things that people focus on And so he so. Apparently something was he was feeling off about the last hour of games He was feeling slightly more fatigue so he went to the Olympic training think centre in Norway and the told him that The orange juice was causing problems And so he sort of figured out a new day said he he should have something that has little more calcium and less sugar and so he now drinks a combination of chocolate milk and plain milk during tournaments. So I see Magnus about to play in a big tournament in Moscow starts Christmas Day. Fob Janos not in this one but is he gaining in any ground on magnus. Are they going to be meeting anytime soon. In a clash of the titans. Interestingly so Magnus played and won eight consecutive tournaments and then dropped ten games at a competition in August and he even confessed to constantly doubting himself And and this might be exactly what FOB needs to. You know sort of perfect the last few things that he can and go out and beat him and they'll they'll definitely meet in the world. Championships goes magnus. Carlsen is defending champion. so He's automatically qualified. And if bobby keeps doing what he's doing and and makes it to the candidates tournament which is how which is if you win. The tournament is how you make it into the World Championship There's a good chance that magnus can finally be taken down so I after doing all of this reporting in learning all these very surprising details about chess has it changed the way you think about the game absolutely and I. I play a little bit myself. I used to have long arguments with friends about chest if if chess sport. If it's a game like how do we want to talk about it. But after the reporting process I was like Oh my goodness chess is absolutely sport and chess is absolutely brutal on your body and your rain And it's definitely I respect these players so much more. Just because of the amount of time they put into trying to figure out how their body and their brains sort of meet and where they need to focus their energy on right that to me is sort of dedication that I love about sports so now I definitely you gain perspective on how I talk about chess. I don't know if it's because of the good place or my general sympathy for small market teams or because I- inexplicably think radiant helmets are kind of fun fact that a tribute to growing up in the nineties. But I've always had a soft spot for the Jacksonville. Jaguars US which is why. I was distraught to read reports this week that the justice team has a culture problem according to an NFL PA statement. An arbitrator ruled that Jacksonville had unfairly ordered players to do their off-season Rehab at the Jaguars facility and they were wrong to discipline them for disobeying their will so the AP's mark long reports the Jacksonville find defensive. End and former first round draft pick Dante Fowler. Junior who's now on. La Rams seven seven hundred thousand dollars which thanks to this ruling. He no longer owes now story of troubling. Because it doesn't seem like a one off issue back in two thousand seventeen when former giants GM. Tom Coughlin was brought in to run football operations. Reports began to emerge agents in players felt he was overreaching and his off season. Coughlin criticized Star cornerback. Jalen Ramsey and linebacker telvised Smith for missing voluntary offseason workouts voluntary. Being the key word here afterwards Smith went on to skip this season for personal reasons and Ramsey Ramsay who like fowler is also on the rams now made it clear that he wanted out when the latest news broke. Ramsey tweeted. Tried to tell. y'All and Alan Robson another former Jag star. Who is no longer? The team wrote back with a series of laugh crying emojis. That's how I describe them going to the NFL PA more than twenty five percent of the grievances filed by player since two thousand seventeen have been against the Jaguars. Now there's no no way of knowing what those numbers mean. They could all have been filed by few players and of course guys. Don't get resigned by a team. Do have reason to be upset. Set but a starting point all this adds up as the NFL. PA pointed out in their statement. Free agents notice these issues when they pick their future homes and if Jacksonville to stay relevant they'll have to get their house in order and maybe bring back those helmets weather climbs in this has been E._s._p._N.. "Reform. Steve Thomas's book. We have this from page fifteen. The telephone call gave us a cornerstone of evidence when he says us he means the boulder detectives working the case. Not so much for was easily heard but for what was found when experts washed out the background noise it has been my experience as a police officer that such emergency calls calls are virtually unchallengeable. They are tape recorded and either something was said or it is not right. Tapes can be so powerful awful. The prosecutors regularly play them so a jury can hear the actual voices and emotions of the participants in preliminary examinations and detectives thought they could hear some more words being spoken between the time. Patsy Ramsey said hurry. Hurry Hurry and when the call was terminated however the FBI in the US secret service could not lift anything from the background noise on the tape as a final effort several months later we contacted the electronic wizards at the Aerospace Corporation and Los Angeles and asked them to try to decipher the sounds behind the noise. He's their work. Produced a startling conclusion. Patsy apparently having trouble hanging up the telephone and before it rested in the cradle. She was heard heard to Moan. Help me Jesus helped me. Jesus her husband was her to bark. We're not talking to you and in the background was a young Sounding voice what did you find. According to Steve Thomas he says this young sounding voice was job as brother. Burke the ramseys would repeatedly tell us again meaning the detectives that their son did not wake up at any point throughout the night of the crime. He says as we knew differently. Yeah but there's there's so many problems with all this I mean. CBS Did an analysis on this to to eliminate all the background noises nearly impossible. So I don't care what kind of state of the art system you have It's that's just. Not How audio works there's distortions and and and things that are happening naturally because it's a phone phone call that you're not gonna be able to eliminate so and I again. I think it's one of these dumb points that okay. If you prove move that she saying he Jesus Jesus help me Jesus or whatever and then you hear in the background which I hear something then I also hear some other noise which they're claiming is John Ramsey and he's saying too then burke and when you watch the CBS special. I think they do a good job to go. Okay that's possible. There was also speculation for a couple years. After after that that she was saying What have I done? So there's there's been all these different accounts of what she's saying okay. Let's just say that you're saying what. CBS CBS is saying and and what what the detectives are saying is true and then they came to you and said that while Burke was coming up so we don't know what we know that Burke had to wake up at some point and we know that burke was a wake by the time the police got there. So what does it prove other than their miss remembering and there's plenty of detectives and plenty of law law enforcement and plenty of FBI agents. That have looked at this case. and Said you're just. Let's take a step back when patsy Ramsey says why check in on Jon Benet and then I went down the steps and then later changed to. I went down the steps all the note that I went to check on her. That could be in that moment of trauma if she has no involvement and her daughter going missing she might never remember which order happen. She is just telling you the best of her ability. What she thinks happened? So take that same scenario how burke wasn't up when I was on the nine one one call while maybe you're miss remembering may because of the trauma because of all the stuff going on in your head and in the House that Y- he wasn't up when you went to make the call he was up up when you hung up the phone will continue along on the time. Line as we go here but according to I witness reports Burke Ramsey Ramsay did not wake up until after police hood arrived on the scene. I want to jump back here captain before we get into this time line a little more because I want to really focus focus in on something that you said regarding that that tail end of the call what his been called into question and has been a debate of what what was said if something was said and what was really going on. I think there's good reason to debate that. I think there's good reason for people to question what they believe that they're hearing part of it is the reports that are out there depending on who you look at depends on what report you get on. What is if in fact anything at the tail end of that call right? I personally cannot hear. I hear something. I can't hear the words that later said I believe what I'm hearing is at least two different voices. But I wouldn't say but to get that my I wouldn't. I bet the title of my vehicle on that. I'm hearing three different voices. I think I hear three things going on but I don't know that for certain that I hear three different voices says so the way that this would work out is that patsy didn't hang up the phone all the way and then these words are spoken again. I find it interesting that we have so many different. Let's call him. Scientists for lack of better words right so many different scientist is coming out and saying. Oh we did this audio. We did that. The audio and this is what we hear all. We didn't hear anything. We can't clean it up. We did clean it up varying reports according to bustle dot com at least nine different agencies. Took a look at this regarding Steve Thomas I find him to be. I believe believe him to be is what I should say a reputable detective if he says this is what they found. I do put some weight to that where I won't go. All in on his statement is this has never been presented in the court of law and therefore therefore I have to go with his word but at the same time he saying that all these other different agencies couldn't find anything or couldn't decipher what was being said right and I like I said I think you could start saying that you you hear these these words and then you start hearing those words and if you take a different term then maybe start hearing that term and the audio is just not clear and there's just not the technology to clean it up to the point where it's definitive that there is another voice. I also again or at least to the point that that it's been played in that manner for the public right but I don't understand what that Gotcha moment would be that. If they actually moment I would believe that would be that burke was awake. That is a very. That's a very pivotal moment. In this case I leaving his but why would they lie about that. I'm not saying that I again what I have read from several several FBI agents when they say this Miss Remembering or switching up the order of which you did something might not be so nefarious. Oh yes it just simply might be be you have blocked that out that people. Sometimes when they see their their child dead for for the next couple of hours it's all a blur and that's very. It's a very good possibility in this case and so this the idea where people go. Bomb Burke wasn't up well at five fifty two. You check on him as possible that there's commotion He Comes Down Says Something you tell them to go to his room. Whatever and you miss remember and since misremembered then you double down on on this? 'cause we know that we know at some point they become a suspect and then it seems like they doubled down on a loss a lot of things and I'm just saying what does does it prove. I don't think proves anything other than the possibility that they are lying. And I would really call into question. What is actually going going on in that household? And what are they pretending to be doing or pretending is going on if they are in fact lying about burke being awake yeah but to me it would matter more if it was something where it's like we kinda here third voice saying hey did you find my sister. I killed her. You know something to the effect but a kid go on our to define this again. The only thing like you said which I I agree it very difficult. I find it very difficult that they would miss. Remember this I find it more so that it points out that they're lying when you have have sun something that indicates possible deception. You then have to call everything else into question. It doesn't make them look so credible going and forward the other issue that I take with this is then it calls into question. Well if in fact you are telling the truth and he slept through this whole thing. Why didn't you wake him up to ask him any questions? He possibly could have seen something or heard something or offered. Something of value for the investigation or to the parents who who at that point should be calling for help also should be looking for their daughter or searching the home again with the best technology. I think it's too difficult to clean up to save a certain. What is sad at.

"Box and stand at Crossover Sergei so if you get into the INFIELD and in my mind's eye I'm still standing at that crossover gay away from where I can and I can feel the wind from your cars coming off and you know telling that story. I'm getting chills because it was old school race at. Its very honest. What do you remember about those two prices in particular okay? South Boston always enjoyed a short tracks. Ellie Mae Nickname for nickname for one or two cars. She she run good Well Shaw Betsy. Driver Fitch and years ago. I mean old Nascar North Days I had. I had a run in with Dale. Did you really yeah right. Occupants speedway and had he wrecked make. You know and and I didn't like it well. After the race I went down to his Holler. You has a bigger brother. That's big but there's nobody around just me and him and I walked into the trailer and I grabbed him because it worked for me when a couple of Canadians did it to me like a nineteen eighty five up and up in Canada. I I kind of moved somebody out or way and a couple of their french-speaking full the only thing I do not I remember we're understanding was. Don't touch that Efren car again at my feet rough in as I thought I was going to be dead I did remember that and I never touched that car again. Yeah well that's what I did today while he wasn't as big as I was and I remember I pinned him against the side trailers. Don't you ever wreck me again. I'll beat your ass okay. You know ten years later you know whatever it was carry is drive for finch and they they come in and they put less I- tires on all four so they had gum balls on on. Well he gets to go and he's on the inside of me and you never touch me and we had a hell of a race you know. We beat them by whatever you know. And I think he's going to take me out he's going to take me out and then you know I'm GonNa have to fight well and he didn't take me out. What French fries artem? That was the last race French because he didn't win the race. James was if you soft tires and a big garden writer. You need to win his race soft tires and a big car right now. That's a whole completely different part so that that that happened at South Boston Darlington. Yeah here we are going to run good run the top five all day. We had the number one pitstop huge advantage huge. What we we come out? Run A second Burton. I think I was fifth. You know come second so anyways we we take often. I could stay with him a couple of APPS because like you said if Mark Martin didn't win in a row scar jet burned it and then those two everybody covered and I can only stick with them for a couple of APPS and yeah I know we start walking away why I got a good run in one and two and went down backtra johnny inside of them so we go down to backtrack and I gotta run and I got under him and I said Okay I. I've seen this move. I watch senior. Do this move. I mean my first time Darlington ten years earlier Bob Johnson said I'll following Jack Ingram and I got by Jack and I was lost inboxes get behind that old man. Follow learn something and I did and I learned how to run Darlington. I learned where you had to lift because his points and my point totally different but in traffic and stuff so I learned how what you had to do and then from watching senior you know with that move in three and four so okay as we go down in as if I could get him to overdrive the entry. I just can't drive on the Nathan Textbook. So we go in there and sure enough. He lifted yet. He whistles it down in there and goes up the hill and as he's going up the hill I'm back wide open and dry in the bottom because he's all messed with Ronald trying to get the thing. Turn to stay off the feds and I beat them back to the line and this was before the track was flip flipped. Yeah yeah this is a yeah. So we're three or four which is now wanted to so it was the last race it was the last race before flipped it and wonder coolest things about that was. I went to victory lane and Diamond Hill. Plywood was the sponsor of the race. Jimmie John Ramsey too twins. You know they said hey they were all excited. It was the first time in and like hey you know this is great. You know if you know come to breakfast you know so went to Sunday breakfast. There ended up becoming really good friends with those two guys you know and and you know we've stayed. We had vacations and Myrtle beach properties at Myrtle beach and Jimmy John have just been wonderful friends. the anytime I've needed stuff you know they've always accommodated. You know whether it's going down there for for the racist. Hey can I park out back that you building it. Oh yeah you gotta come to breakfast and meet everybody not a problem So did you just wonderful people that was cool racing. It's so darn neat because no matter where you go. Even today I'll go to twenty five racetracks year and I'll come home with five more numbers in my phone. Because you're a bunch of cool people all around this place Ramsey Ramsay brothers indictment apply what they good for the sport. Okay so Talladega you in Buckshot Jones. Bristol stole you and Buckshot Jones the next year Nazareth you Buckshot Jones. The two of you obviously just didn't click and to me. You were from different worlds. Absolutely he came from money And had the best of everything and you hit kind of come up differently so you Kinda Alton scratched. Plastic Spoon twosomes both. So what was going on between you. Two what Talladega Buckshot had. I probably the best card in the Busch series. That money could buy Barnes Motors to Pearson's babysitting cars. Right cars fast fast buckshot. Come out of four and they went down two French short. Shoot before the trial will you. You know he kind of pulled down to the inside what s he pulled down. I got a shot and he asked what a whole line. Okay we're rolling okay. No problem well okay so I got open racetrack in front of me and would ahead of steam. Well he decides to come back up and block me. Somebody was going to get correct. If I would've I would've got turned route. He come up. I hit him and he got wrecked. My son down across the Infield. I don't think he tore it up bad because does he stay. Stayed running so we run out of gas twice so my day. Okay I I don't have a good day the S- okay. I'm I'm Mac. If you run out of gas I mean in the cars. Don't make gas. We went like thirty laps or whatever and we tried to go to more laps. Why would we do that? We run out on on lap fifty. WE'RE NOT GONNA make fifty two well okay. So whatever so. I'm just not happy. So we get the checkered flag. I take my helmet off. Hang it up I take the gloves off. Take my belt off rolling down the backstretch bottom attorney three I paying attention buckshot. I'm going by. He takes a right gases. It up and hits me your indoor spins me out into the Infield and you don't have your belts I nothing. So are you kidding me mad as a Hornet well I'm stuck in the grass. Thankfully it rained. Because I couldn't I all I can do to get out of the mud. Well I'm I'm just mad at one I pull in and pull it back tracking NASCAR. I wanted to see you in a trailer not a problem. Well I go walking in trailer birdies behind me Buckshot and Ricky Pearson. Already in their Ray Hilson there so I walk in and say hey doing ray this. This is randy. Sit Out and as I did I punched Buckshot. Did you really I didn't call cocktail. Ricky jumps on top B- Birdie. Okay so I'm mad. I thought I knew everything was okay. So yeah I'm done with now. Okay I hit them. Okay Okay for me. He thought Iraq which okay it's Talladega you know if you block you're GonNa get wrecked act happens today. Still so that started sedan. I think Bristol was an x one. Here we are running third at Bristol. Having a good dais. Running third caution comes out and they got the big pile on in the middle and the doubles at the bottom of pylon. Caution comes out what happened. I buckshot rector guy. Okay so you see the whole pit crew for that team sat in on pit row flipping Buckshot on Sunday so twenty years later you know. He's halfway up the PYLA ISLA yellow. What happened now? He wrecks. Mikey mcglaughlin. Okay she mikey's guys. I remember big guy standing up it real clip off. So I don't WanNa make big. I no no no. No He's got to and I always told Bucks Ya Ya you drive me the same way. I'm GONNA drive you if you hit me. You'RE GONNA get hit I. I don't run over people I says. If you can't beat you can't do that when you're a champion you could but it'll help you. I was like so everybody. If you raise me clean I'm GONNA race. You clean. Well he he gets my back bumper pounds of back bumper. He's beating the back bumper off Takhar. Which tells you number one? He's got a whole lot better race card. I got but you don't have to run over somebody which Bristol you almost did well. He moved me up out of the GROOVE. Any any any do it enough. So when he snuck by I was able to put my bumper right to his and we went down into one and he lifted and I didn't. He spun out off my hood. Backed it in offense like he made his car. Looks like go Pinto. We're Gremlin okay. So Robert Pressley's in front of me and spotters like hey hey watch it. Bookshops rolling down the backstretch. He's GonNa get you so we come out at two under Yellow Robert Pressures in front of me and I'm going to try to hide alongside between Robert and wall or Robert wouldn't let me go. Let me get up there so I kind of back off and get in line. So no sooner I get in line I hear buckshot gassing up he turns right so I guess it up he just catches my rear bumper and he drives head on foods. Tobacco cars not junked affronted or cars junk and he missed me. I mean he turned me sideways so we ended up finishing second or third after a race. I mean Pe- road is pandemonium. I mean it is crew guys wanting to fight with everybody because he wrecked three or four cars. You know so. I don't care how I just had a good day and we we got hold out of their on state police. Did you realize Golf Cart. Yeah it was it was not it was insane. Place was going wild..

"And the company responsible screwed up file a complaint asks for help tell someone just know that there are people out there who might be trying to rip you off and it's okay to ask for help so what happens in the future if we don't stop this cycle of student loan debt thought later and bestselling author Seth Godin believes that the world we work in is going to change so the future of our economy Konami is either super clear really fuzzy I'm not sure which one here's what we know when they invented the steam shovel a lot of people who dug ditches is for living we're out of work but soon thereafter a whole bunch of new jobs were created because machines needed people to control them but now we've invented invented the computer radiologist which means you're a million dollars in debt committee you've got into medical school longer than almost anybody I have a machine that can read a leg x ray better than it used to be I could just send the digital image to a country cheaper than this one but now I don't even need to do that because this computer this hey I can read it better than you now you may say you worked really hard to be this kind of radiologists and I say I don't care because the computers better at it than you so not only are we replacing the mail clerk or the person who works in the warehouse we're replacing the radiologist and in my lifetime we're going to replace the truck driver because if I can write down what the system needs to do I get a computer to do it so what's GonNa be left well it's going to be left her job rory make hard decisions decisions that have never been made before because once we make them a bunch of times interrupt I can teach the computer to do it but first we're GONNA need people to make hard decisions so the question is where did you learn how to do that and if no one has ever taught you how to do that and my guess is no one has what are you gonNA do about it turns out the answer is only one is to practice that if you practice these skills you get better at them so if you're nineteen congratulations I'm really jealous probably have hair and you have plenty of time to start practicing to practice these crafts making difficult decisions learning to lead solving interesting problems I don't care what you do fractions or not I don't need to do fractions the way we learn work is rapidly changing and that affects jobs which of course affects higher education entrepreneur and investor Mark Cuban Cuban has some thoughts about where Connie's headed it's so easy for students to borrow money for tuition housing room and board Cetera that it keeps young kids from being able to be entrepreneurs because they're saddled with this dead he keeps them in jobs that they don't like it keeps them from buying houses it keeps them from investing in themselves to follow all of their dreams I mean look I had student debt I thought it was a lot back then it's nothing compared to what some people have right now but even then I couldn't get my car right I had to get the radius this that I could find because literally when I moved to Dallas I had whole my floorboard I see the white lines go by if I didn't have student debt I could have done something better I could invest into into myself sooner you know as we go forward with the way technology is you have to always be learning you have to always be investing in yourself you have to always I think of how are you gonNA learn more so that as technology changes you're better prepared to deal with it back in the day people would get careers you go work for at and T. your entire life you know friends of mine the dad's worked at these big companies for fifty years that doesn't happen anymore your free agent the day you graduate from college you are free agent and in order to move your way to better and better jobs you have to always keep investing yourself and when you're saddled with dead it makes it more difficult investing in yourself the right way is just one part fixing the crisis Seth Trotman believes there's a bigger conversation that we need to have as a society whenever you kind of see until until recently an elected official of other party ask hey what are you going to do about student debt they always revert to like we're going to focus on college affordability and forty five million Americans answer like what about what about us right like solving this for the next person essentially sacrifice an entire generation that has been asked to deal uh-huh with this historic burden so we just can't forget about all of these folks when we think about policy but I think the first real thing is just making sure that we have the systems accountability metrics and protections to make sure these folks aren't getting ripped off right at the very least we need to be able to say you took John Historic debt we understand that you did this to chase the American dream that we all cherish and we are at least going to make sure that you are not getting ripped off off as you try to repay those loans and I think that worked needs to happen at the federal level I think that work needs to happen at the state level or even working with some cities to try to think through what they could due to stand up for their own hours but I think we need to have a broader discussion right about college affordability how to help borrowers student loan debt and I think nearly every person I met without a fault is like trying to pay back their looks like I want to be beaten I don't WanNa pay this back I I think the second piece is the conversations are getting too stilted in terms of what is the individual impact on this and I think what we need to think about larger and I think this this is what changed a lot of minds around the mortgage crisis was the impact doesn't end your driveway right like someone who is really struggling under the weight of student reading data especially those who've been ripped off by their company this is impacting your unit this person might be like struggling to get a job because they're June alone company failed them or they would start a thriving small business but you're not just based on how much debt they have or people who I just want to buy their first house can't do so or even worse you know people can't fill public sector jobs because they have a ton of debt so you know Tom you can't get a teacher to teach in your school and I think we saw Tun of this work at the bureau you know we saw veterinarians talking about how they can't go back and work in rural areas doing the work because they have two hundred thousand dollars in debt so in many ways I think when we think about student Dan we think about the people who should be working on this and focused on this are like folks like me who just think about student loans right but if you are focusing on on economic development if you're focusing on improving your community if you're focused on income inequality or rural development if you're not thinking about student debt you're kind of missing the boat here here because all of these issues are having the trickle down effect of what you're trying to work on and I think that is the conversation I think not only the borrowers deserve to have the conversation that we need his country which is all right we we made these decisions and the like back and forth wars like every student loan borrower is a deadbeat getting US nowhere it's also link under appreciating how I think a lot of our common goals together aren't happening because people do what we ask them to do if everyone's sleep walks through life doing what they were told to do because it was the next step they're going to wake up down the road to a harsh reality it's time to take personal responsibility for your own future Anthony oneal explains lanes recently I had the opportunity to sit down and talk to a young couple twenty six years old married both of them combined have three hundred and forty three thousand rose and allison student loan debt they are not even thinking about having a child they're not even thinking about launching a business idea because they're payments alone is about twenty three hundred dollars a month more than their rent a mortgage they're not even thinking about a house house right now they're only thinking about their debt you see when people signed that student loan paper they're signing away twenty thirty forty years at their future they're signing away some of their dreams and some of the goals because they're thinking I'm going to get this education when I get this education I'll have the means to pay before but that's not true robbing you of your future there are so many dreams inside of people's hearts inside of people's mind instead of people's souls but it can't come to flourish because they have to go take on this job that job just to pay the bills just to get by is keeping people from buying a house house is keeping people from starting a family and having kids is keeping people from starting businesses is keeping people from investing into their future in investing into the retirement is keeping people from getting out of debt is keeping people from setting aside an emergency fund is keeping people from going on their dream vacations is keeping people in bondage if you really want to take control of the future if we really want our young people to take control of their future it's time for them to stop taking the kids approach start making an adult decision because an adult decision is thinking about their forty fifty sixty seven euros an adult decision is thinking about their future future wife their future husbands and future kids their future family their future legacy but it gives approach is all about today how do I feel today I'm going to the school I'm going to this real nice school I'm going to get a good job. No an adult decision makes an adult decision that is best for their adult doc future time for young people to grow up it's time for our parents to help our young people grow up and make better decisions because the caliber of their future we'll be determined by the decision that choice they make right now understanding where we are and where we came from is a crucial part fixing the future writer and philosopher George Santayana once said those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it and when it comes to the student loan debt crisis it's not a cycle we want to keep repeating for generations the rest of the series is going to cover exactly how to end the cycle of debt and Inspire Future Generations to cancel this crisis we started researching scholarships and trying to figure out a strategy for how how I could stand out in the process and thankfully I was able to win over half a million dollars in scholarships and go to my dream school completely debt free join join me you've been listening to borrowed future don't wait on the government to wipe out your student. It's whatever in the wise words of Freddie kitchen if you don't wear orange or brown you don't matter and Rex Ryan doesn't have any colors right now for a reason so it's okay despite what Antonio Radio Brown tweeted last week agent drew Rosenhaus that he believes that Brown wants to continue his career in the NFL at finally US Customs and Border Protection officers seized he's nearly four tons of wheat value two point three million dollars mixed in with a large shipment of red and green Jalapenos at the Oj Messa cargo facility at San Diego for all the latest headlines Information Tune into sports center on ESPN radio all throughout the day. We like to show you and sink into the mistakes. We made so just so that you guys know. Stugotz did an excellent job of pivoting there but stu gods during the break was actually celebrating the idea of us doing something prepared and professionally. He's like I'm going to throw it to some old school radio sound and he either didn't tell anybody or the shipping container for nine no no he told me but I had the wrong sound unloaded up as in the CROCK regardless that is how we go to old school radio sound that was God's try. You did an excellent excellent job of pivoting back to the quote with one of your clumsy pauses but that's what happens when we tried to do radio the way it has been done correctly throughout time that clumsy Z. Pause was because I was expecting sowed. That's correct so we've got Adam Schefter. That's not the thing we get mad about around here. I'm sorry schefter download and listen to the Adam Schefter podcast. Wherever you get your podcast you and me are not allowed to make fun of anybody over mistakes. Get the angry at anybody but a dollar their mistakes. Usually we talk basketball with Adam schefter but there's a lot of good football stuff going on right now so Jalen Ramsey Ramsay at this point. thank you for joining us. Adam what he's doing is specifically trying to be poor man's Antonio Brown and make things difficult right or is it really just the amazing coincidence of he's gone from flew to back strain to having a baby and paternity leave like in in in three consecutive days well first of all. It's an honor to be with. You guys to actually talk football for the very first time. I don't think we've ever talked so this is quite an honor got to be able to do this now as for Jalen Ramsey look. I don't doubt that his girlfriend is due and he wants to be with her and I applaud him. For putting family over football football we got all that doesn't detract from the basic fact that there is a major staredown going on between the Jacksonville. Jaguars who you do not want to trade jalen Ramsey and Jalen Ramsey who really wants to be traded from Jacksonville and yesterday and he is sick. He's sick of being Jacksonville Jaguars. They should cadaver nature more feeling and if there's a team that comes Jacksonville with an offer it makes change. It's mind that that's what you want. What will be interesting. Here is whenever this baby is born if and when you rejoice the teams how's this. GonNa play out because I think he's determined not to play for this team. Determined not to play this team. And how does the team candle the the team is making Nice right now but the team's not GonNa make Nice every misses Sunday's game against Denver and then potentially misses more games beyond that it's going to go from being a nice little story to a contentious will story and it is a staredown right now but it just hasn't gotten that way in the public just yet. I don't know if I may though like the flu blue and back spasms okay but he's playing high level chess with. I gotta go paternity. Leave go ahead and question me on this one go. Hey ronin own in Coughlin. Go ahead and question me on whether I should be allowed as a football player to go on paternity leave and miss a game you know in the sport. Adam you've seen a number of the time guys get crushed for missing a game for for missing a game for the birth of their child and many guys don't miss a game for the birth of their child yeah but this one is different and I think everybody knows that it's beyond just a child look. He wants to be there and like I said we're. GonNa applaud him for doing that but it's beyond just that right. It's just it just is and by the way if the week it started out on Sunday night okay gentlemen. She's not rejoin the team. He's going to be with his pregnant girlfriend as she gives birth year okay fine but but I it was the flu right and then the flu quickly quickly became the back in the back became a baby and I just I just want the baby doesn't come down with the flu right who brings the flu around a baby the Grapevine uh-huh but I love and old fashioned staredown you would agree the guy you want to have a staredown with Tom. Coughlin right yeah blink. You know what I I would also say you don't WanNa Ramsey in this particular case when you are the best quarterback in football and you want to move out of that franchise or Maroon Yeah I mean listen it. It's it's a situation where I said. Both sides are Kinda dogging and entrenched and we'll see what plays out. I WANNA see Geo Cliche who blinks first here because someone's got to blink. That's what he's saying. He's saying the Coughlan John Dozen Blink none of the three or blinkers the only one in the NFL who doesn't blink less is Jerry Jones because that's his face this point. He can't do anything with that like it's can you explain to us at them. What's going on with Aaron Rogers not throwing the ball downfield well. They've they've a new coaching staff and I think the identity team is changing so which is odd when you've got a quarterback is gifted and talented. Raja's people just used to seeing him throw for three and she goes regularly when I don't think he's doing for more than two hundred forty nine in a game this year whatever it is his numbers have been very modest very UN Aaron Rodgers but you know what you're three knows. What does it matter. They hadn't been behind bucks so he's not throwing his much. That's part. It is well now if they fall behind tonight and Rogers has to pile up past but they've been a situation. They want to run the football. Both they have been able to run the football. They've had the lead so they haven't had to throw the football. It's all worked out exactly the coaching staff and watch and so Aaron Rodgers has become you know I guess glorified game manager for the first three games evo always be that way but it has been so far Melvin Gordon. He cost himself about two a million dollars Is that a lesson for everybody. Don't believe with football. When you're running back. Well listen. He made a decision at the beginning he could take. An offer from the chargers should ten million dollars a year but he he used himself in that top tier category and here's a question and we're just wondering out loud. I'm a big Ezekiel Elliott. Everything's great running back. Put Melding Gordon in the Dallas Cowboy offense. Would he have similar numbers to G. I think so. I think he's excellent but I felt pretty alone with that. Opinion and I've been wrong. I said that The chargers should pay him and clearly they didn't have to. He caved the way football players players usually do damn both can be right right like the chargers didn't have to have him but it can be that building. Gordon is even better than perhaps we think and if he were in that cowboy off and she might have number similar but he's playing buying up it's one adjutant great over the years and he's still put up great numbers and he has not been indispensable replaceable the chargers they've proven because the network has done a great job in Melbourne Gordon's actions so they all can be right all these factors. I think the bottom bottom line is that Nolan Gordon wanted the big contracts. He didn't get it. They made an offer. He thought he was worth more hell of a chance to go see if he can get the kind kind of money that he wanted with just stopped. You're running back money thirteen plus million dollars a year in that range in the free agent market because I don't think the charges are going to pay him when they've got to pay Joey Bosa Hunter Henry Philip Rivers. They've got a lot of free agents to be and when we gene Austin that clerking lurking do we see with Justin Jackson do and what is done a great job of cultivating in growing running backs over time those address and other guy to mixed into that rotation station and they'll be okay without building Gordon. They're not as good at team without him but they can play winning football without him. Jason Garrett extension or hot not seats. I love this we we we've fired these guys out radio the mood of the moment. I mean come on. You're so right right lake because we have we wanted to fire and now or should we stay. It's so funny to me. I don't I'm listen okay. I'm not joking three weeks ago. Stu Gods handed me a piece of paper that said Jason Garrett hotseat question mark. He wanted to ask that question of somebody. I didn't read it. I took it and immediately threw it in the trash. Somebody somebody was watching said. What was the question that Dan threw in the trash and three weeks later. Stugotz writes me again contract extension for Jason Garrett heard three weeks after saying hotseat for Jason Garrett. If you have a problem with everyone's flip-flopping on this know that it's only God's doing it because all of his opinions should be thrown in the trash at decided I could manage his daily life land. Okay yeah well. That's a problem the Schefter Asia Emoji. Ask you whenever he reports something. It's called the bomb. We need something for when you break some good. "Irving is probably one of those guys at saves them about six million dollars overall in space. There aren't a lot of other players was on the roster that you can get rid of without big dead money hits. The Anthony Hitchens contract is a disaster. He's twelve point seven million dead money next year if they cut him because they restructured him this offseason get some cap space. You can absolutely restructure Sammy Watkins Base Salary Tyron Matthews. Both of them have more than eleven million. If you want to convert that bonus there's a way to find the money but when you consider that the mahomes extension is coming and you probably have to pay Chris Jones next offseason or at least franchise it it gets pretty dicey pretty quick so that's one thing to take into consideration having to give Ramsey the massive record-setting adding corner contract pretty much soon as you sign. Him is definitely the argument that to me. That's against it and I agree. I think your argument stands as well because you're going to be good for a long time. Do you want to have no homegrown hyper like high premium town in the pipeline. That's my thought I think all in moves Frank Clark. I don't think you can go all oh enter. Maybe I don't know I mean I is a Kansas City's. Never won a super bowl. Do we think that the fan base and the Front Office and ownership and the coaching staff and all that would trade one super bowl this year for maybe a couple of years at with the law maybe two years out of Patrick Mahomes career. Almost he answered. Yes I tend to agree. I tend to agree answer's. Yes and I also feel like we can't you can't assume the think about what we would have said about Andrew Lock right right. They're gonNa be good forever and that's just not how it happens. I know that it's a different situation and he was getting destroyed. Loyd even early in his career but I don't you can say we know we're going to be good for a decade. I also feel like you have to acknowledge that. This is your best chance to win one because he's so cheap even if you think you can win one in the future and I think a really good model right now is what Seattle is doing. We can pay our guy. We can start over with the rest of the roster and we can still be good because of how good that guy hi is but their best chance was still when Russell Wilson was making way less than Russell Wilson should and I think that's the argument for why a trade like the Ramsey Ramsay one make sense. Even if it really puts you in a tough spot in other areas I listen. I don't know the answer and I also think that going all in on one year when you have like MOMS is slightly rescued because this is a game of injuries and you know you could trade for guys and all of a sudden mahomes gets injured and you're screwed I cannot I'm good enough to make the decision about whether or not you play the long game with Patrick Mahomes and just maximizes window for ten fifteen years or just try to win the Super Bowl. Do everything you can to mortgage future because that's what it is to win this role this year. I don't know the answer. Who else do you think is on the table here with that would make sense for ran for Ramsey for Ramsey Ramsey so I saw a tweet. A little bit about the teams are in on them. One of them was Baltimore. Yeah I mean Jimmy. Smith has agreed to knee east brain. He's GonNa be out for a little while. Multiple weeks is how JIM are. John Harbaugh framed it. It's not season ending but that's secondary that we expected to be. You don't try to first round picks because your cornerback has agreed to niece brain that I feel like that's about his long-term. No I got you I. I think that's more about them. Not Thinking he'll be around for much longer us so here's the list via Justina Anderson teams that have made substantial inquiries candidate. Jimmy Smith is in the last year of his contract Kansas the city Baltimore Minnesota Oakland. You GotTa be kidding me so Donald Philadelphia Seattle now. We thought Seattle the teams. We always mentioned this. I don't know if it's just that's just Howie. Roseman and Jonathan are trying to be value gods and just being like take a second forum. You just don't know that substantially Sanjay inquiries as a man they offered a first round pick but with Seattle. It doesn't make a lot of sense. I think it was Shirley. It's tough just based on the finances of it. All obviously there's it's not in the league better at manipulating that stuff in the eagles have been and the West contract is gonNA look like a bar getting much sooner rather than later but I think with us I I know it's ridiculous but the Seattle thing I mean this is a team with ocean of cap space next season again. That's why I love the way that the seahawks have done this it they have. They decided to tear it all down outside of their two best players and that was really it. Those are the only substantial investments they have so now you have have Russell Wilson Bobby Wagner and a blank canvas and these are the types of moves that are on the table for you because you know restrictions Yep. I'm I'm I'm with you. All the way just Anderson reports. Every team has placed to call or almost. Every team has placed a call. I do want to say if you are an owner and you call your GM and say have you placed Kabul Jalen Ramsey and the answer is no you should find new. GM there's only one team where that's not a problem and they've already offered six first round picks for Jalen Ramsey God. Could you imagine yeah I can actually tell you the problem one of the problems with the Texans. Is it now if you call if you're Bill O'Brien and you call anybody they're going to immediately. Just give you a gag offer yeah. They and he's a guy in your fantasy league that you know you can take advantage. Oh Geez. Can we get you know. Eleven eleven first round picks from an indelible things about a for an hour like it. That's that's where you're at now through the text and then you call back and get cousin Greg and then you get the eleven first round picks absolutely called a call Jim form of Omelettes. Take a quick.

Marcel is is Jalen Ramsey worth the headache. Oh he worked headache that Oh talk of trading him to the chiefs and with that price tag would look look like I'm not going that far but yeah guys. "NFL Game Pass experience today and if you'd like to leave a nice review for them a five star rating view. I wish I could've watch the alternative for you guys but I couldn't because it's not It's they're. They're they're pretending that is just a big black screen little play. Arrow circle that you think you can get anything thing. I mean some analysts would derive a lot from those clips right there some analysts those clubs are all they need. The Black Strand enlightened educate now. yeah obviously game pass. It's also early in the season for game. Pass which you know you say that as if later in the season game passes good and it's not tell me about Jalen Ramsey. Tell me about your thoughts because apparently the jaguars are looking for what is it a is it a two thousand twenty first and then also two thousand twenty one. I based on reports. They're saying that one. NFC team has made play in one AFC team has made a play right so here's what we know. Albert rear of sports illustrated says that the Jacksonville Civil Jaguars starting asking price would would they're opening up negotiations with is to I twenty twenty twenty twenty one Diana. ESPN says that there are two offers that she's hurt on the table one is from an NFC team includes a twenty twenty one twenty two twenty one five live which is interesting because the Eagles do not have a twenty twenty-five Nice investigative work. They're bad. I like it. Go ahead. Thank you well. Somebody tweeted that might not be true. I don't know but so you were receptive to it. Yeah I remembered it. AFC Ansi Team on twenty twenty first and then like a player We don't really know the value of that player. WHO's athlete is people have surmised. AFC team is the chiefs. They need a lot of help. Jaffrey Jeffrey NFL DOT COM says that a cheap source. Chris says that the that she's not interested in Jalen Ramsey on they say the locker room is too good right now. This is the team that moved on for Marcus Peters for very similar reasons so I could see why they would altun. I mean Ramsey's of bit nuts but I would not say Marcus. Peters Jalen Ramsey are relatively equivalent terms of the offi nonsense. You have to deal with. I'm not saying they're the exact same but I'm saying from overall culture perspective. I mean Bob I mean look at the chiefs in what they've done from a PR perspective in the past couple of years at ain't exact Aubrey Day. Yeah does that number one and the number two. It's not like Ramsey's out here. Committing crimes is Peter's though Peter's really didn't do anything like that in Kansas City. He was just ankles in college he had backed True Yeah Yeah and then this is from my knowledge may be incomplete Ramsey and marrone. This is the first incident of of of Ramsey publicly coming out against his coaches. Peters has done multiple times since his time at Washington and honestly you can kind of sympathize with Ramsey Ramsay who doug marrone the Jaguars are complete joke. Will the organization check on right exactly. It's all falling apart. I'm not surprised if he's trying to get his way out of there and and again what we have to remember I still stand by this not big but not small part of being a very good defensive back is being way too confident in your own abilities. I honestly think that legitimately contributes to being a good defensive back Yup. It's a position where you have to be able to bounce back very very quickly and you. You Know Supreme. self-confidence leads to bounce backs. Ramsey got toasted by tyreek hill in two thousand eighteen and was immediately talking masks. Ask the TYREEK. Hill in two thousand nineteen yeah well you know he gets up for games sells. It doesn't bother me too much. People have talked about. Oh the eagles don't WanNa bring that sort of a voice our locker room. I really don't think it would go poorly of eagles locker room. Especially the defense back room with Jenkins restored Douglas and jalen mills already already has a ton of big voices and they've been fine and they all get along and then don't get along and survive one big happy family that gets upset with the self sometimes. I don't think they're too you worried about that. Also nothing I've seen for the Eagles in Ramsey as the he doesn't fit the scheme which is kind of like a buzz phrase in general Ramsey. Eh firstly fits every scheme their schemes in which he's better on the Ramsey is a sublime talent. who also not unlike Minka had some like could he play safety secretively corner sort of a thing when he came out of Florida state simply because he was so talented for example Ramsey's more effective up at the line of scrimmage in Philadelphia who as we very well polite split a corners orders off line of scrimmage you would expect eagles to play Ramsey up more of the line but also Ramsey can survive off the line of scrimmage. People say that Ramsey has said that he wants to play man coverage. I was just WANNA play. The zone covers the Jaguars Ron. There's not a team in the league that will be Yeah Ramsey. You'll never play any zone. Coverage here won't happen he's. GonNa athletes don't coverage wherever he goes zone own eventually turns into band anyway and Ray cut the processing and the Eagles Eagles play a fair bit of man coverage is not among the league leaders by any means but they play a fair bit of man coverage average. You know what Ramsey does really. Well covered covers post routes. I mean he stays on top of post routes which has been a huge bugaboo. If you copy paste jalen Ramsey in for eagles defensive back in coverage on long completion right which is unfair been different players right. Give them half as many points as year right very simply they do do not. I said this on the immediate recap of the Atlanta Falcons show or maybe it was the residence. I don't remember Jim. Schwartz Causes Defense has elite talent a corner and he doesn't Ramsey cataldo corner schwarting change much. He's going to continue to leave his corners on islands if zone or if it is man he's GonNa leave them isolated against outside receivers with very little schematic going to expect them to make plays Ramsey's gonNA play zone wherever he ends up you might as well end up on an NFC leading super bowl contender with clear great culture in the Locker Room in coach who loves players and players will playing for the coach zone everywhere and like you mentioned. I think that's best part of the thing that Ramsey too. He's facing a team team. That's falling apart at the seams from organization on down and you just life quarterback for this season. He doesn't WanNa play for a loser Eighth Hour Jalen Ramsey our on the Jacksonville the Jaguars Jaguars are asking me to play corner and I demand to play wide receiver anything and then I just changed my to my new team. I don't care all right Antonio and way anything I can say to get out of this building. Yeah why not yeah so that you up. Do you think the eagles should make a move if the offer on the table is a one and a five that NFC offered that's from philly whatever the Jaguars come back new with expected to be like one in a three one four. It's Pricey. I'm probably there are probably there too. I'm probably is Jalen Ramsey. Yeah and people say you know you have to pay him. John Ramsey. That's the big difference between him and main guy was ask straight it up and I was like they both can fit both can help a lot the thing about Mingka's. He's six million over the next three years. We'll Jalen Ramsey's seven and a half million this year fourteen million on uh on the two year on the fifth year option next year so you're already at twenty one point five million and then it's the next year of his contract. He could feasibly cost six seven times. What make it does over three your span and I don't think you're getting sick. Seven Times the player so it's a greater cost more than Minka went for Ramsey's Delta and talent that big. I don't think so but but right now I would say. It's a seller's market for Jacksonville every day. They don't sell the Mar-. The market moves towards the buyer because Ramsey's gonna continue to wear Jackson's. Would I were logo yes and the Jacksonville. Locker Room and disparage the whole team. Honestly I'm kind of hoping you already trained him. I WANNA see him. I want to see him go out. I want to see him. Walk down the entire receiving core on Thursday night. WanNa see him get to pick four tackles for loss and Sam the Locker Room and make fun of his head coach all all boy. Do I want that. I think the eagles are in those conversations absolutely on and I think like a one and a five. If that's offer that can get accepted is a is a very good deal. I would COSI Matt in in a heartbeat so I'm interested in Ramsey too. Obviously not the slam dunk that Mingka's because of the cost because of the age the contract and and all that stuff by definitely interesting hosting for the eagles moving forward they'll have to deal with that move dealing with the books. I've Dallas being brought up. I don't know if they would want that. Big Contract on the on the table for them at other like I mean I would love to see Myron Jalen Ramsey play next to each other for just for the you'll never have to even call a defense could literally take the day off but yet show that'll happen. You see the Desha Jackson News I was going to say let's get to the eagles news because John of NBC Sports is reporting that quote eagles could be without Sean Jackson and else on Jeffrey for the next two games. D Jack has an abdominal strain and is expected to miss two weeks according to McManus and also rap sheet is reporting that Jon Jeffrey has a calf strain and next two games is in doubt for him so that is a big time hit and this film study that we did or quote unquote broadcast film copied studied that we did showed the issues that the eagles had with not having their guys in there. Obviously it's a little bit different when you have all week to plan for that as opposed to learning that they'll be out but that's still a big one and two wide receiver being out for probably two games. That's an issue for the eagles. How do you feel about that impact impact because I don't feel I don't feel great about it at all to be honest with you. I don't think anybody should doubt is the field stretcher man that right. That's what it was. That was the the whole. IQ EELS haven't had a player like Sean sense to Sean. He was the spark week one right for the fact that the packers are on Thursday night absolutely blows Ryan what ahead that is an man you don't WanNa start to into onto and you definitely don't WanNa drop one to potential. NFC playoff team in the packers right on you know that's that's an annoying timing for that match up obviously not trying to overlook lines kind of project in the next two years or excuse me the next two weeks moving forward so it's to sean very likely out for two weeks alshon Dallas on. I don't think you're GONNA get back in your to get at least one is probably GonNa be out for that timeframe as well. I think if any of them Dallas who's been kind of struggling with that catfish uses preseason. I think you might get him back before the other ones out out of those we don't know the extent L. Sean in the thing pre-game and God knows what happened to the eagles pre game in against Atlanta but something did yeah it's huge for Galore. Sacrifice was going to be a big part of the offense obviously earths for there being no matter a great deal `specially in the running game the player that I was voiced awesome Monday was I was disappointed in J- whites presence in week two when you have a week to prepare it'll be more clear whether he's an inside slot quasi quasi tight end helping to block h back motion nasty alignment guy and story fumes Alshon Jeffery Replacement Guy which she's going to be is going to be a whole wheat game plan for that prepare or for that but are they are. They need to be able to win. One on one match ups needs to be able to. He is not a burner. He is not super elusive. We've talked about how he runs. Good routes that helps them. Win is one on one match affinity with leverage strengthened size. He has to be able to win in create throwing windows. Carson Wentz has no reason to trust him right now. Why play two games gathering. He's throwing the bottom autumn four times the zone. There's no chemistry. There are needs to start winning quickly for the eagles..

"And that's what made this so great. They're touch was always there. With with the game of thrones, the person who was kind of leading the, you know, the, the story, which is George Martin did not give them. They did not have the source material to pull from anymore. He was the one that was the guidance and he stopped writing a book, which is going to finish but they didn't have that anymore. So the, the creatives voice who really put in the show what it was a lot of people know this was gone. And so these guys kind of scrambling and, you know, and. The guidance it showed it was missing. I understand something really quick. I think it's really interesting, too, because a lot of there's a big movement to hate on Martin right now, to which I wanna say, like Martin created such an incredibly intricate and well-plotted world that Benny often Weiss were able to pass as incredible writers for four years. You know what I mean? Like, that's how well they were being left to their own devices that didn't write very well. You could tell season seven and eight they kinda fell apart to me is point from earlier, which is about just the length of the season season, five problems season, six problems. But they're that normal episode length. So the story get to develop a little bit more natural at time passes the same way, this is a show that, like I think the biggest cardinal sends the last two seasons. And I'm not saying anything anyone doesn't know it's just like time moved in a very specific way and season seven and eight what the reduced episode count. There was no way they were going to be able to move at that speed anymore. I wanna while Carlos gets the because me about to go nuclear now. He's easing back the holding back tears. But he. The passion fruit back there. I know he's been home that in his whole time before you split all over this room. Get I look at the request Christian. No. I was gonna ask you, one other thing, which is to say that, like remember when like sopranos was that? It's like height. And people were like, oh, wow. They're really like eleven million people who love dream analysis, and like this really hard hitting deconstruction of the death of the American dream, or whatever, or do people like the violence and the fucking nudity. And I think that game of thrones like we always try to pretend like, oh, the people understood that they were watching incredible writing in those early seasons. But the truth is, maybe they disliked it a lot of violence and a lot of dragons, and a lot of nudity man. Like they're not mutually exclusive concepts. They're both. I guess I mean you definitely right? I mean it's hard to lump everybody into one thing. I think listen I had complaints about the nudity in here and even some parts of violence, but was the nudity, but I have to say that I think that, that is something that got people in not everybody. But it got definitely made it a lot more mainstream people of but. This show, went for years, where they would tell them some really great stories. And I think if people were there, just for, you know, the basic titillation of tits and blood. Then I think they would not as many more people to tune out, then tune, Dan. I think people, people would like me. They got into it because they had characters that you love to hate in those characters would, you know? They weren't just either. They would they would true villains. But they were mixed up in something more complicated, are they were villainous characters, but okay? So, for example, Jamie. Jamie. Joffrey Joffrey, and no not die. No house. House Ramsey Ramsay Bolton. Joffrey Ramsey characters like a pool people. And you could just hey, you would wash just love to hate them and see what they were going..

So now, the brand Theun so Robert Barandy and that king over my Randy. And I'm sorry. I just know we're we're talking about game of thrones. Now, people people are get all upset Robert Barassie. And yet he this is like my fear of like really like two years from now is going to be this guy. He's like Ps three times a night because just so unhealthy. He's fat. And he's just like exhausted all the time. He doesn't even remember that. He's never fucked his wife like he's so drunk that you just doesn't remember then he doesn't even know. He's been poisoned like he's he's like. I drink too much. You know, like. That is so me on so many levels. And I just don't want to be that, you know. So I hadn't apple today. So that was my thing to say about Robert. Yeah, he was kind of like a dick like he's a dick too because he's like best BFF Ned stark, but kind of dictum to and trying to get like Kalisa killed, you know, and like I don't know like I felt like I wanted to like him. And I I enjoyed that. Like his I appreciate that. He will always love that Ned Stark's was a sister. Right. He'll always be in love with her. That's fine. But don't be a dick also be nice to be nicer to Ned and don't force to do every time. They talk about the sister. I think of Elda because like a statue of a sad little girl. Helper lake every time, they visit neds sister statue in the basement of winter fell. I feel like it's like a safe point. Like we're supposed to save the game or something. So really, the let's let's also king Joffrey Joffrey. I have to say he was just uniquely terrible. But wow, one of the great TV villains of all time. And like, you know, they tried. They did follow Joffrey up with that Bolton guy who was just also which one Ramsey's Ramsay Bolton. But Joffe was truly like he he was a great great Billington. And I was like happy to see him till? But also sad that we lost our great villain. I was sad at all. He was just they I mean this show is the best at making people the worst and getting so excited for them to be killed. Yeah. Yeah. They do it to the nice people. They make them the worst too. It's like an it's stark. Okay. Yeah. He's the most noble. Nicest one, but he so noble and gross that you're just like oh. Yeah. Exactly. Now, I have to say Thomasson whose job freeze younger brother who then became the king. He was he was the pits. He was so awful. He was so weak, and then he'd like he brought in the stupid fucking Sparrow. The highest Sparrow home like God. God the guy from Saigon. Actually,.
