W. watcher and once it there is no no real financial reason for me to have life insurance for my wife you know she's she's been really really good shape if I go away I guess mine would be a D. W. why that that could be dangerous better than you I that's fun that's great so yes I would get term insurance in place if you want some or need some before canceled it then I would cancel it and I would use the money absolutely investment your money thanks for calling thank you shop and buy a call but thanks for coming by Britney's weather's in Washington DC hi Britney how are you in because I in December thank god they left the came down from heaven because you're going to help me change my whole life but my boyfriend with the help me with my opinion down the debt and I kind of feel guilty for having him help me because he is really smart in you know decided at a young age he didn't ever want to have any so he doesn't have any and I feel bad that his money is going towards my debt and then you have to be on the budget and everything when you know he's not the one who has the issue by helping you humane he's giving you some of his money we then give me all the money in his like here you go use it for whatever we need to take care of no I would not that under any circumstances and here's what here's why not as soon as you're married if you get married some day I would do that you know at that point you're married in Europe you treat that as one in so you take care of each other and yes you would accept whatever help from your husband or he would accept whatever help from his wife that you need to so when you're married that's fine but when your boyfriend girlfriend that's really dangerous because I mean it could get really really messy if there was a break up and if there's not a break up its still changes that Turner the sense of the relationship doesn't yes good always been independent once I've always you know I'm not the best at that as I found out after reading your book but I'm always taking care of myself and have my own condo so except in the telephone him is really really hard for me yeah I would not I would accept him being your cheerleader your advisor you know giving you some guidance because he's good at handling money but I would not suggest that he give you money or you accept money until you're married now if you set a date and you come home from the honeymoon then the whole thing changes then everything is combined everything combined it it doesn't matter who brings what you could be he could be dirt poor and you could be really rich but you got married now we are really rich right that's our hope but but not not until we're married because it just changes you know you get there you know this already because just talking about it made you feel weird where she you know it's going to change things and he's he's bi and I she does he not thinking about it creating weirdness but it's cool create weirdness Cantona I don't think it'll be good for your relationship and he's not doing it to try to be manipulative that's on who this guy is not the way you describe him anyway and and you're not doing it to be you're not not accepting it to be weird or something it's just until you're married you should not share assets you will get I am or liabilities you will get yourself in a real mess real mess so just if this leads to marriage later than we can have the discussion after the honeymoon yeah I'm going to combine everything everything at that point so a good question Keith is on Twitter at Dave Ramsey Davis the T. S. P. a good place to put my retirement savings of fifteen percent it's fine it's fine they are we recommend the C. the S. and the hi fun eighty percent the C. ten percent the S. ten percent Lee I and that's all don't do the ale that means loudly step away from the other funds I think you can probably get better returns will open market mutual funds than that so I would consider that for your raw fire raise and stuff and maybe not put it all in your PSP I think you can beat those funds that are in the T. S. baby but they're certainly not bad this is the Dave Ramsey show.

"He wasn't all there. He didn't show up. He didn't invest emotionally. He didn't invest defensively. And he you know, he couldn't get Luke fire during the season. So he's wasn't happy about that. You couldn't get the team traded during the season wasn't happy about that. So now people are wondering if they don't make a move this summer, they can't trade for AD or get a top ridge into summer neither which of which are locks. I don't know where they go from here. I don't know what they do. Honestly, I think there was the least last summer they had a clean slate and. Chance to you know, to go out and get something in which they didn't. We all follow brand would be the answer this summer. You know, again, I don't know what they do. And he's he's suddenly looks like he's aging. This is this was a not not just a bad disastrous year, but a ominous year anonymous year that group portend several more ominous years to come. So it would it's been nothing, but a nightmare. Feel like I guess if we're assigning blame here. Like how much of it is on him? How much of it is on the front office and their inexperience and kinda them trying to zig while everyone's zagging where are you on all of that? Always. Yeah. And I've written several times the blame gets shared. But I think LeBron has the brunt of it. 'cause LeBron is the one the greatest player in the world. He's the one who could have led this team and brought them together. He's wanted could've played defense. He's one with the ball in his hand on the court and LeBron should have they should have at least made the playoffs with him. When at least the win in one around with a team has around him. I think the second blame though they're also also blamed for magic and Pelinka because they built a crazy team around. Just like you said Georgia, they built, you know, they they didn't get any shooters, and he got a bunch of a bunch of kooks and the team was basically Koos in kids in the Braun. So that's on them. And then it's also on Jeanie Buss. I mean, she has the void a lot of criticism. But when she came out and said that all the talk of the of who they were gonna trade Ramsey. Davis was fake news. She showed he revealed the disconnect on the front office where I don't think. In fact, I know that there are certain times that. Magic. And rob just don't talk to her don't tell you what's going on. Because that was every bit everybody. Who was you know, who reported to be traded for anti-daewoo? That was all true. There are trading Coosa. They were trading ball. There are trade Ingraham. It was all true. It was all true and sources were were confirmed, Ken different ways, and for her not to know that or to call fake news. So that shows that she's not in touch with what's going on the basketball side. So all of them are to blame. But I still put it on the mean the broad had to ball in his hands. The bronze and when he got hurt and that hurt them is come back with slower than what everyone thought. But again, he didn't you know, his body language by language loan. This was a course this year is a course on how not to do body language on on on the basketball court or you could do, you know of old video clips of him walking away shaking his head sitting alone on the bench all that..

"You getting close to what you want there. So maybe that would make a difference. Yeah. For sure so let's talk about the Lakers and the pelicans and all this stuff. And I know that we played the audio from your podcast collective makes you subscribe to Brian's podcast rate and review apparently view, right? That's the thing that is very important to rate and review. Right. That's what they say. They say, I think it's stupid the stupid too. But that's the apple rhythm rate in review, right and review right review. I am actually told people on the show we opened the show. Oh today. Brian. I said that I want to be number one than everyone sports podcast by the end of February by March first, and I've told the audience that if they subscribe and make their friends subscribe and rate and review than I will throw a big party somewhere here in LA to celebrate the audience if I become the number one podcast. I am doing it. It's all self serving. But I also feel like throwing a party. So I think it helps everybody sounds like someone's got a contract on. Does. I don't actually know. I actually think this is much more about guts. Yes, do podcast. That's what it is. This is just like the Miami guy. He's what's going on with Stu gods? And he wants what he hits like he's got the lipid toward machine army. So I need I need to create a team Sodano or something. You know what I mean? Like, I got to figure that out I Bryant show. Let's talk about what your sources have said about the potential of a Lakers pelicans deal. What if they said to you? I try to be clear about something. There are a lot of players at the Lakers could trade for in this league where the assets that they have would be very attractive. I would say if they targeted ninety five percent of the players and said, we want this guy you can have all of our young players. They would be able to get this is not an indictment of those guys but free Anthony Davis a top five arguable player who is going to be desired in many different markets. The Lakers just don't have the assets. And I know that some Laker fans. Like, I you know, when the reporting came out yesterday that the Lakers were offering all their young assets that people were horrified, and they couldn't believe it with all due respect. It's just not enough with elegance. They just don't like what the Lakers have to offer. And that is not lost on the Davis. That is why it's pretty clear his camp is waging a battle to make Boston not even. Did for the Lakers have a chance because this clear is is as a as day that the books up this can outbid the Lakers. They just don't have the asset. It's not about people not liking the Lakers. You know, like, that's what people said, oh, the Spurs. Don't like the Lakers, they thought they tampered. So they didn't do it deal for I Leonard if the if the Lakers had better assets, the Spurs what it done at the with them. I know that the Lakers fans are big believers in their young players, but they are not all-stars the team the players that the that the Lakers wanna trade Ramsey Davis. Just went six eleven that's not why that's really excite me. And if Adam to the guy Laker they have already from last year, Julius Randle you have a lottery team. Interesting. It's just it's just not the pelicans are just not that interested in it. Now could there be dominos? Fall leverage. You know, things that happened at force it. Yeah. It's not impossible. But it's not gonna happen on with all things being equal Brian. The what I've wondered about with the pelicans. And how they play this out is whether or not they simply decide they'd actually be better keeping him all the way even till the draft. And then reevaluating all the way through the summer, then reevaluating his value. He might be the rare player who so good that his value remains high. No matter how long you have to trade for him because he's that good. Mo-mo you're so right. They the pelicans have all of the leverage. I mean, you think about Davis is trying to pull off here..
