"He overestimated, I think, is what he did. So then to wrap things up here, Tom card is Patricia and judge sticking around, reassigned while Bill O'Brien just comes in and it's now his shop to handle Jones in the offense. I'm not sure what the disposition is with Patricia. It seems as if your judge is going to be part of things going forward. As you know, it's impossible to get even title explanations out of these guys. Because as Bill says, titles don't matter, which of course they matter. And they matter to him more than anybody else because he doesn't give him out. Because he thinks that they are some kind of an implication of what an expectation should be. So he obviously thinks titles matter. But we don't know. It seems as if Kyle will almost certainly be back and Matt is less clearer. All right, and as I get ready to head to the combine on NFL network next week and then sit in this chair until the draft and then host the draft. And we're talking about 40. Then we're talking about and we're talking about the quarterback carousel. Do I no longer pound the drum wondering about Mac Jones? We should put that to bed. Here on February 23rd. I would say, I would say that you can conclusively think that the Patriots organization is steadfast and wanting to know what they have in max Jones and year three. Dead fast. And by trading him, they'll never find out. Tom, you're the man. Thanks for the answers. As always. You take care. See you soon. It's time. way you said it? Hey, it's Tom Kirk. Okay. That's how we say goodbye to him as well. And it was. All right, Chris. Satisfied? You should be. You should be. I think back in year one was really sublime. Yes. Unclear if he can be great, but I think Bill O'Brien is going to be a really, really good person to have around. I just can't. You know what? The problem is they're going to lose Jacoby Myers and as he said, you know, there's a lot of money locked up and hunter Henry and John Smith so you might as well unlock him. Might as well let those guys right. Try to go to work, you know? So we'll see what happens. But I am cautiously optimistic. So I can't shake this. With Matt Jones. And again, I know you're a fan and you're deep into it, and I can be somewhat removed from it. I can't shake Halloween 2021 when Susan and I brought the kids to 5. Yeah, against the Chargers. Chargers and patriots. And Mac Jones was in the midst of that hot winning streak that eventually propelled them into the playoffs. They did get one and done by the bills significantly, but they made the playoffs in his rookie season after Brady left. And he was masterful. That's the only way to describe it. They took the Chargers out defensively, they took him out on defense is what I meant. They took out Justin Herbert, defensively, they took him out. He was he was the kid off his game. Now I'm at Jones. And Jones was just methodical. He was, he was like a machine. And I kept sitting there and I turned it, sues, and I turned the kids sometimes and just muttering to myself as a jet fan. I mean, is this going to happen again here? The kid knows where to throw it, hits his back foot, throws it. And you can't stop it. And they just keep going down a field and if they get three great, because they'll just add three onto their one score lead and then suddenly it's a two score lead and it's a three score lead and then he'll do stuff like break the pocket and slide down with 5 minutes to go because he knows the clock's ticking. Like he was situationally aware. I remember that performance. And I remember I came back here on the show. I'm like, that's a playoff team. Yeah, that was their second of what would be 7 straight wins. And I turned you and I came back on this set. I'm like, bro, I saw a playoff team over the weekend. You didn't say that yet? I can't shake that. Same guy. Same guy. So then get somebody with, you know, if he was concerned, hey, Bill, your buddies, your longtime colleagues, smart guys, good coaches, but they don't know what they're doing and I'm not buying whatever you're selling to me about this is the guys that I'm, I'm in their care, clearly we didn't buy it, O'Brien, I think, walks in with buy in on the spot. I would imagine. Yeah. I'd certainly hope so. Well, that's why he's there. Right. And so check that box. And I think that's the smart move, man. See, year three, let's get back to year one. Let's get him going. O'Brien is a perfect guy for it. Let's trade for Deandre. Could be. You know what? I don't know if I'm at an all 22 guy to know if that's the so called fit. But draft some more, use the tight ends that your guy Stevenson. TJ. You were on that from jump. Preseason game. I was like, yo. If Derrick Henry is business decision one, he may be one a in the NFL. People don't want to. Okay, I mean, you don't want to hit him. And then he's got and then you just keep rolling two, three, four other guys out. That's why you can't depend on anybody. This is how good ramonda Stevenson is. He's a patriot running back. You can depend on in fantasy. I was actually trying to find some rankings, see where he's at. So. Listen to what Karen said in, I think you should be you should feel better. Certainly more than the jets where I'm like, okay, I have no idea if the kids are any good. And all these highly expensive. You pay a lot for quarterback. You're going to come in. One of them is expensive deluxe that you would have to give up draft choices to get. All right. Well, there you go. When we come back AJ Brown, quite a statement in support of Jalen hurts getting paid in Philadelphia, Bruce Arians, Al Michaels, our number two, max duggan, our number

"Facts. I didn't start. Facts. Pretty good. And the Vikings, they were going to be the three seed if they didn't have that come back. They were going to watch the niners leapfrog them. But there's still the two seed. I don't know how the hell they did that. The comeback bug was biting so bad. It bit Tom Brady. Tom Brady or entering yesterday had been 89 and oh, it games in which he led by 17 points and let this game 17 zero. And the Bengals who couldn't move the ball a lick got three at the end of the first half and that was the end of that. In the second half, Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers turned it over on downs, followed by an interception to fumbles one by Brady and interception a punt and a cosmetic touchdown and they lost 34 to 23 as Joe burrow and the Bengals did it again. Winning again. A big game on the road certainly when they had their hands full with the bucks showing up in the first half like they showed up in Munich playing all three faces well. And by the way, one of those blown moments was Giovanni Bernard not knowing the fake punt was coming to him direct snap. I don't know what the hell's going on in Tampa. But Tom Brady follows up his first career loss to a rookie quarterback in a game, he throws an interception after which a linebacker from the opposition asks him to autograph it. With the first loss of his career in 90 games in which he led by 17 points. And just when you think the NFL world is off its axis, a Bill Belichick team now owns the most situationally boneheaded play in the history of the NFL because just when you thought the Vikings coming back from 33 down was the one thing that you've never seen before in the NFL this weekend, the Patriots decided to grab everybody's beer and hold it for them. The Raiders have, as you know, made an art form out of blowing double digit leads this year. And it looked like they were set to do it again yesterday. A pick 6 ramonda Stevenson can't be stopped. They're up by 7 keelan coal scores a touchdown that is highly controversial. It's sure looked like his foot was out of bounds. But after further review, play stands is called, be that as it may tie game, going overtime. Unless Mack Jones can work some magic. I do not know. What the hell that was. It's so crazy. I don't think there's a nickname for it. Every play that we all know, the Miami miracle that happened to New England. What do you call this one? Hail moron. Hail moron is excellent. The only problem is Jacoby Myers has been, as you know, as a patriot fan, the patriot way situation brilliant. The guy you want on the field to put the team in position to win football games in the manner in which Belichick wants to win it. He's great. He has been nothing but the guy who slides out of bounds to make sure the clock keeps ticking and the guy who gets on the loose ball that everybody else stares at thinking it's an incomplete pass, but he knows it's a fumble. The last guy you would expect to take a lateral that you would least expect coming because the game is tied. You don't need a Stanford band on the field. You don't need the pitchy pitchy whoo whoo that Scott van pelt calls it. You don't need it. The minute that player is dead, it's over. When it's dead, it's dead. You're right there. And he's throwing it back to Matt Jones for what purpose. For him to maybe run it in from there because you can't throw it again once the ball passes the line of scrimmage, that's it. It goes back Jones gonna turn into tyreek hill and then go 70 yards down. But if all people, one of the greatest sack artists of all time, is there to grab a Chandler Jones, nice grab, and then a stiff arm that not only stole Matt Jones's soul, but any of his future children so. And good for him and he said that, you know, it's my bad, I should have tackled him. Are you kidding me? What do you expect in the balls coming your way? You're not expecting it to be picked off in front of you and then the stiff arm of all the last people you want to I guess maybe would him and max Crosby the last guys you want to try to have stiff army and when you're not expecting a stiff arm or having to stop somebody, I don't know what the hell that was, but that was the hell going on weekend. Of all time. And I didn't hit on everything either. You got most of it. Daniel Jeremiah is in studio to talk about all of this. And also give you

" Week 15, NFL roundup. I'm Ben Thomas, Sunday's action saw two more overtime games, but neither qualifies as the wildest finish of the weekend. That was in Las Vegas, with the Raiders beat the Patriots. Ryan lyong explains how. The Raiders scored on a crazy play as time expired to beat the Patriots 30 to 24 with three seconds remaining in the fourth quarter and the game tied the Patriots tried to extend a 23 yard run by ramonda Stevenson, but a second lateral by Jacoby Myers was fumbled and recovered by the Raiders Chandler Jones who ran it back 48 yards for the game winning touchdown. At first I was thinking who's around me. And I felt myself stumbled a little bit after the stiff arm. And that was thinking, who do I pitch it to that? Early on, this was dominated by Brady and the bucks who jumped out to a 17 and nothing lead, but as Bengals wide receiver Tyler Boyd said, his team didn't panic and capitalized on four Tampa turnovers. When we create them, turn those, we got to go get them touchdowns, and not three. So I think the turning point was the offense rallying off the defense and making those turnovers into touchdowns. "They're just so afraid to let Mac Jones do anything. The pass charts are hilarious. Next gen has those past charts for each QB that you look at the Mac Jones pass chart. And it's basically a coaching staff to sign. And you're not going to hurt us. It's just going to be all short stuff. You will throw nothing to the sidelines at all. You will throw really nothing deep at all over the middle, which is not letting you do that. And it's going to be a lot of dump offs. That's one of the reasons receiving yards and the receiving catches because he's going to have like 6, 7, 8 catches every game, the rest of the way, just the way these Mac Jones. Yeah, and that's so scared of him. I want to know, I don't know why they won't go to zappy. Because if they're this afraid of Mac Jones, if you go look at zapis, I was sending some friends this. I was on a couple pats threads. Zappy is week 6 pass chart when they lit it up. It looks like Joe burrow. I think that was this Cleveland. He's throwing deep middle on the sideline left. They won't let Mac do that anymore. So that's the reason not to take the passes. They're just terrified of Mac. Yeah, which the bigger position I have in this game is on the under, under 42 and a half points. I'm under on the Vikings for this game at 21 and a half points. I'll take alt unders and put those into parlays and just kind of expect just like a stinky tough defensive game. This Vikings defense is prime for that ramonda Stevenson Damien Harris sort of a night where a mantra has, like you say like 5 catches 6 catches, they have them on screens because they're gonna keep everything in front of you defense. And Mac is not trying to has the license to is available to push the ball down the field. Like because of how Mac is playing because of how the coaching staff is coaching him, they're not gonna try to test any of that intermediate stuff. And the Vikings are trying to cover that anyway. They're willing to give you the shallow stuff. So I think it's gonna be that big Ramon Dre kind of run after catch sort of a day. A big Jacoby run after a catch sort of a day when they get their explosives. The Vikings also play with very light boxes and light personnel. And they've been good at doing that. They have a good defensive tackle group. Harry Phillips, James lynch, they've done a good job. This patriots rushing attack puts a lot of heavy bodies on the field. It's a big test for the way. Like Minnesota's box. It's very similar to the Dallas thing. That demolished them. I think we were kind of the poor man's version of Dallas in some ways. They would throw the ball like that. Right, but even then the Patriots have bigger backs. They have a bigger offensive line. They are going to punish you if you try to play light box. So I think it's a very quick game. I think the clock runs a lot. You'll see a lot of completions. You see a lot of Russian attempts. So we're going to lean to the under that way. And then I think it's ramonda and Damon Harris just kind of controlling this game. So it's very difficult to find a way that the Patriots get blown out that the Vikings have a high scoring game unless it's a high turnover game for Mac. And like you say, they are, they got kid gloves on Mac. They're not letting them do anything. I've never seen man, it's been a while. I mean, we had Brady for 20 years. So it's hard to remember. It's like, you're going back to when I was in college. And in college, we didn't have Belichick so that, you know, we would put people like Hugh millen and Scott zolak in the position to just air it out. This back thing, he did it with percent too, and when Brady got suspended for deflategate. And bessette had to play. And they had that game where the Pats are underdogs. And then he was just very careful with bras. He knows how to do the game managed QB thing. We found a bet that we really liked. It is an adjusted one on FanDuel. You could take the paths to plus four and a half. So you're basically covered. If Mac Jones self combusts, Jefferson said, I think they're going to double Jefferson and make all the other guys beat them, but let's say KJ Osbourne gets like a 75 or whatever. The pat's below the game. I think it's a bit close. Pat's plus four and a half and

"Peter and Texas has been hanging on forever in a day. What's up, Peter? Hey guys, happy Monday. Thank you, same to you, sir. It's on your mind. So I do want to ask rich about his chance, but I really got to appreciate you guys breaking the news about Melvin Gordon. He's on my fantasy team and I learned on air that he just got cut. I'd hang on to him. Somebody might pick him up. Someone definitely picked. Why wouldn't the jets pick him up? You know, I mean, James Robinson hasn't done anything yet. I don't know what's going on with that, by the way, when they sign him after breece hall went down, I thought we're going to see James Robinson running like it was Jacksonville, and we've hardly seen him at all. I don't know. He's going to wind up somewhere, I would think. I would think I would hope so. Yeah, 'cause my fantasy team is dead when Jamar chase got hurt. But he might be coming back. Hang on there. Hang on. I hope so. You bet. But first off, I got to ask rich, you know, I'm a big fan of the show. Pretty religiously. So I feel connected to you guys and as such, I always want to call in and be like, I want to know if you're okay. After a Jeff loss like that, because I saw that apparently in the second half, the jets averaged 2.7 inches per play. And apparently there was it might have been a block in the back that was not called on that punt return. I don't want to hear any of that stuff. I appreciate it. I'm okay. Brockman was kind enough to stay away from my text. But it doesn't matter too. I was trolled on the spot by my 11 year old Cooper who watched it with me and he's a diehard patriot fan because Susie is a die hard patriot fan and Brady was winning championships when he was growing up and if I said you had to go ahead and root for Adam Gase and the jets child services would have removed him from the household. So I appreciate the call, Peter. Thank you. And all that business of blocking in the back. Don't punt the ball down the middle of the field with seconds to go, and then say, oh, they blocked in the back. 70 yard return. By the way, the NFL, did you see the NFL responded to all of those tweets about that to say that they reviewed it? And it doesn't matter if a guy falls forward if he's being blocked from the side. It depends on where the force is coming from. It doesn't matter the direction that the guy falls. Make first downs, don't put it down the middle of the field. How does that sound? Okay? Hit wide open receivers. Hey, you don't have anything to talk about on offense. You're in deep, you're in deep trouble, 'cause your quarterback is totally regressing. He has as many touchdown passes as Zach Wilson right now, heading into Minnesota. But the conditions were the same yesterday. No question. You only had four and complete. Well, you know the difference maker is, is your guy ramonda Stevenson. He is a load and Belichick knows if you keep sending him in your direction, there will be business decisions made and you have a choice and many of them turn that choice down. He is really good. He is really good. Really good. So tight ends played, John Smith had a good game, but yeah, I mean, we're not great on offense either. You know? That's a big game New England and Minnesota both coming over the loss. Yeah. Because New England's next game after that is buffalo. On Thursday. Yes, because buffalo, that's what the league likes to do is have the first Thursday after Thanksgiving have two teams that play on Thanksgiving, so it's a full complement of rust. There's at least one Thursday night game where it's not a so called short week. So that's a pretty big one too. The Vikings are three point favorites against the Patriots on Thanksgiving. That seems ridiculous. That you know what that's about? That's about the Vikings or frauds? No. It's not that. It's okay, Kirk Cousins. Belichick is coming for you. Prime time. He's coming for you. He's got something special in a short week for you. And we just saw what the cowboys just did to him and that offense totally obliterating it. And Matthew judon. And Matthew judon is good. Doesn't he lead the league in sex? He does. 13 and now. He's dynamite. Yep. And everybody does their job. That guy Kyle Duggar is everywhere too. He knows exactly what's going on. If you have a tendency to throw here because the play a certain defense against you, they're going to know where to be around that ball. They are a really good man. Every year, so all you and Bill, we don't trust anymore, folks, just wait. 'cause you're current offensive coordinators would be the ones to come take over. No, I mean, it would be Ryan day. Hopefully, well yeah, the Ohio State coach of the Raiders coach, just one of those guys can just you want the Raiders coach, huh? You take him? Yeah. Okay. He's an awesome offensive coordinator. Terrible head coach. But he'd be your guy to come coach the team. You would take him to the coach of the team after Belichick. Maybe I don't know. That's the appropriate

And if you were willing to do this, what would it be? Some of the responses we've gotten on Twitter. Twitter's on fire. Beatles reunion, Garth Brooks, Led Zeppelin, Elvis, Queen with Freddie Mercury, Red Hot Chili Peppers. We're going to come to that and we're going to give the people credit for taking the time and their busy day to tweet in. But first, we're going to take a break. This is the rich eisen show on Roku on radio. Don't go anywhere. You can listen to the NFL on the NFL app on the Odyssey app on Westwood one sports dot com via Westwood one station streams or by asking Alexa to open Westwood one sports sponsored by AutoZone. Chris brockman sneaky good game tonight here at Titans packers. Yeah, you know, really interesting game. Green Bay, you know, that's kind of been the narrative this week because they're back on track. Aaron Rodgers look good. Christian Watson, breakout game. Breakout. And the running games been nice. Randall Cobb, I think, is going to be back tonight. And then you got to tighten or just nobody ever talks about. You know, Mike vrabel just kind of does this thing with his crazy cartoon clown house that he's got going on and Derek Henry is just throwing dudes out the club and Ryan Tannehill's back and we still don't really know any of their receivers, but they're just kind of plot along. Win games are in the playoff mix and really curious to see what kind of goes down tonight it's the Green Bay does the momentum carry over from Sunday into this game and Aaron Rodgers starts looking like Aaron Rodgers. Ward is Tennessee just kind of grind the life out of him running the football and it's kind of a methodical low scoring game tonight and they just kind of sneak out a win like they always do. I'm really curious to see what happens tonight. If I'm brave, I'm just like here Derek. Here's the ball. Keep running. What do you do TJ? I mean, look, coming off of that Dallas game, right? The running game for the package did look really great. When you've got those two houses back there, man. You know, that's a luxury, obviously. But I think that something snapped inside a Christian Watson. And I think, you know, Chris, that's the moment he had such a bad start dropping balls, even to the game he dropped two balls against the cowboys to start the game. But when you get fed like that and you get to kind of go off, that's got to do something inside to you. And so, you know, I'll be honest with you. Yeah, I'm a cowboys fan, I'm rooting for the cowboys, but when he caught that first touchdown as the ball was in the air and I saw it was going him. I literally was like, please kid, don't drop this. Because I know mentally what that could do, he would just get stomped. No, I wasn't in favor of him catching two more touchdowns as the game went on, but I think maybe now this team has turned the corner. I always say, Aaron Rodgers makes throws that I've never seen anyone else make. So if the running game is moving and now he's got some trust in the receiver or two. If I'm a packers fan, I got to be excited. And that's the thing. Green Bay is now four and 6. There are right there, the 9th seed right now in the NFC standings. They're behind the commanders. We just talked to Ron Rivera. They're getting back at them. San Francisco's 5 and four. They play Monday night. It's going to be really interesting. The battle for that 7th seed in the NFC, I think, is on, you know, a lot of people think that Seattle's not gonna hold on to their lead in the NFC west, at San Francisco, is as they get healthier, is gonna eventually catch them. So, you know, let's assume that for the sake of this conversation and now it's Seattle. It's Washington, it's Green Bay, can Atlanta get in the mix. Can Arizona get back in the mix, all fighting for that one playoff spot, and it is gonna be a dynamite second half of the year when it comes to this. It's gonna be great. And if you could put that back up, my costumes, if you could put that one page up with the standings, I wasn't expecting to see the bucks at 5 and 5. The rams at three and 6, I think they're giving their QB back from concussion protocol, I believe. Yeah, but it's almost too little too late for the rams. Cooper Cup going on IR with the ankle injury. Just wondering, what can they do offensively to move the ball down the field and the score points like Cooper Cup has just been everything for them this year even with the struggles of Matt Stafford, the running game has just been nonexistent. Nonexistent a carousel of guys from cam Akers and Darrell Henderson and now carrying Williams is getting it's getting his run and it's just, you know, I'm kind of rolling the rams out now at this point. I think it's you look at the teams with four wins and the teams with 5 wins. You have a base there. I mean, I think they're going to hit their stride as well. That's kind of been the talk all week. TJ. 12s have gotten right. Aaron Rodgers has gotten right. Tom Brady's gotten right with two straight wins and they play in the worst division in football. Arguably. So I think the bucks are fine. They're just gonna roll. Remember when they won the Super Bowl two years ago, they were 7 and 5. And everyone wondered what was going on. Here they're 5 and 5. We're kind of having those same questions, but you think as they get healthier, Julio Jones scored a touchdown in Germany. He looked good as the run game comes along, looks like Rashad white is going to take control of that backfield TJ. That's your guy, man. That's my guy. You were preaching him from preseason. Yeah, he was my ramonda Stevenson, like you for last year. And I just think it's going to come down to those teams that we just mentioned.

"Most upside. If the starter goes down. So there's an upside question if the starter goes down. We begin with Scott fit. So I need clarification on what you consider a backup running back. Is Melvin Gordon a backup running back? It's romantic Stevenson, a backup running back. Yes. Then it's from under Stevenson, because in almost every week that Damien Harris was out, he was a top 12 running back. He gets a full complement of the workload. He gets, you know, 15 to 20 touches. And in camp, he's getting a ton of the passing game work. Pass catching work in camp so far. And James White might not be ready to start the season. That might be that he might have just taken over that role. So for me, it's from Andre Stevenson. Okay. Matt, which backup running back has the most upside if the starter goes down. When I read this question, my knee jerk reaction was Kareem hunt, but then I thought about it a little bit more. And it's not Kareem hunt. It's AJ Dylan if Aaron Jones went down. AJ Dylan is getting a huge boost and touches on a team with a good quarterback, a great offensive line, some suspect receivers, Dylan could be a top 5 back if Aaron Jones were to go down. It's got to be AJ Dylan. I was between AJ dill, your two answers. Between AJ Dylan and ramonda Stevenson. Dylan, the reason I went with ramonda Stevenson and the reason that's the right answer, Dylan had to the two games that Aaron Jones missed last year. And he had 11 touches and 14 touches in those two games. He did not explode into 20 touch territory, which was what I would have expected and hoped. Meanwhile, for Mondrian Stevenson, he started two games with Damien Harris out last year, and he averaged 18 touches. And Stevenson and Harris shared a whopping 22 carries from inside the 5 yard line. That team ran the ball inside the 5 a lot and the thought of Stevenson built like he is. Getting all those inside the 5 carries. Not Dylan's built for touchdowns too. Don't get me wrong. I'm still taking a half point here. We are mostly wrong, but you're not necessarily not entirely wrong. As a team New England was 5th and attempts from inside the 5. And we know ramonda Stevenson is really good too. He finished 9th in yards over expectation last year and third in rushing percentage over expectation for ramonda, Stevenson, correct answer. Stevenson. Tough question number two. Now these were tandem questions as you'll be able to tell. While the starter is healthy, which backup running back is most fantasy startle week to week. So now we're looking for backups. It's a different question. Not talking about upside to the start is gone. Now the starter's playing, who's the guy you feel best about starting which backup? Do you feel best about starting? We begin to this one with Matt Harrison. I think we named a lot of the candidates here. I think the correct answer might be AJ Dylan again, but I didn't want to just explain AJ Dylan twice in the three tough questions. So I thought another answer might be Melvin Gordon. I know the Broncos camp had some sound bites this last week about how they think javonte Williams could take like a 70, 30 split, but in that same article they were like, but javonte hasn't looked like awesome in camp yet. The reports are the camp split is 55 45. Yeah, so despite the thought that in season 8 plus that's not how it turned out more than anything else. That's not how it turned out last year. It was nearly 50 50. The Broncos had a chance to let Gordon go and let javonte Williams take over this offense. His contract was up. And they could have brought in a rookie at a cheaper price, but they went out and they signed Gordon back again, so I think it's a 50 50 split Gordon finished as a high end RB two last year statistically. He's gonna be cheap and ADP too. I like Melvin Gordon a lot this year. All right, let's same question, Scott, while the starter is healthy, which backup running back is the most fantasy start able week to week. So I kind of telegraphed this with my first question to you. It's Melvin Gordon in a backup. Is ramante Stevenson? So for me, it is Melvin Gordon. AJ Dylan's really close because he had over 70 total yards, like one, two, three, four, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, ten times last, 9 times last year. Which is pretty dang good for a backup if you throw in a few touchdowns and a few receptions. But Melvin Gordon was eminently start able in the flex position almost every week and you felt fairly confident about it. And I think the split is still going to remain. It's going to shift a little bit more to javonte this year than last year, I think. But it's probably Melvin Gordon still. I almost went Kareem hunt here, but I didn't quite wasn't able to quite. I thought about it too. Hunt average is 12, depending on your scoring. So it's been 12 points overall as a non starter ESPN scoring. But and he gets, he does catch some, but he doesn't catch as much as I want him to. Or as much as he used to. And I don't know why Kevin Stefanski doesn't use him more that way, and I wish he would. Stefanski does run the ball a lot. And the weird thing about Kareem hunt, of course, as we've seen is when Chubb goes out with injury, hunts, roll doesn't really change. It doesn't really expand. But within the boundaries of the question, the correct answer is Melvin Gordon. I got them both right. You did. To your two for two. And that's got one and a half out of two. Really Gordon's output hasn't really changed in three years, including three years ago when he was the starter. He's still dependable amount of use every game. And by the way, the fact that you can get Melvin Gordon, 7th round 80 P okay. I'll take that, you know? As opposed to a second round for a guy getting about the same amount of work, a lovely do the opposite running. He is exactly a do the opposite running back. He's the definition of it, Melvin Gordon. Tough question number three. Is it cool to milk the clock instead of making your picks? You're on the clock. Can I milk that thing out waiting in case like breaking player news happens? Or maybe somebody makes me a dumb trade offer or whatever. And these are specifically in slow drag. The clock's 60 seconds, we're not talking about that. I'm talking about the kind of drafts that are happening right now that are one hour picks, two hour picks, 6 hour picks, 8 hour picks, is it cool to milk the clock. Scott, this is not the question I prepared. So I was wondering if Brian is here so on the fly, my personal feelings are most of the time when commissioners set up a slow draft. They said it at 6 hours or 8 hours or whatever. To account for people who have lives. And people who have work and can't get to it, but you're supposed to pick in a reasonable amount of time when you can get to it. In my personal opinion, it's not for milking the clock and making sure it's training camp news comes out or an injury doesn't happen while you're on the clock. I know a lot of people disagree with that. For me, no, it's not cool, but I let it happen, you know? You have 8 hours, that's the rule. But not clue. You're on no, not. It's not cool, but it's completely acceptable within the rules. Okay? Matt, are you cool with players fanny's players who milk the clock instead of making their pick? If you got 8 hours, you get 8 hours. I mean, it's fine to do. If there's a clock you get all of it. Do I do it? No, because personally, I'm way too impatient as a person for that kind of stuff. And I really like the dopamine boost for making a draft pick. Oh, that's good stuff right there. So go ahead and do it if you want, but generally I don't do it.

You like what you should say. Flex out today's flex out ramonda Stevenson? So Bill won't be on a fantasy show. There you go. I guess that won't be. We got to see the guy that everybody who's doing it for the kids. I mean, of course. That was of course. He is he is a great guy. He really is. Maybe Bill doesn't like fantasy because Nike, the dog is the one drafting his team. Oh, true. Could be that could be that, right? Nike takes care of bill's fantasy team. Nike sits there at the laptop, right? Angela, blue of the draft. How lazy is it to name your dog Nike? What do you mean? What are you talking about? He has two lines. Maybe Nike's choosing the team, the wrong team, Nike blew it, left somebody on the board. He didn't need to. Multiple screens. That's Bill Belichick's dog. Instead of DK Metcalf. Oh, see, now you're trying to keep now you're bringing us down. Now you're bringing us down. I'm still mad. We're up here. I'm still up here. I'm a good time. Talk about fantasy. I don't know, probably. There you go. $36.71 million, two years. There you go. That's it. Okay. 19 million a year one, here we go. Four. Mitch trubisky. Second stringer, can you pick it? Yeah, I mean, that's again. Again, we're trying to go up. We're trying to eat rings. That's it and bring it down to the level of seriousness. Hate rings. 8 rings. Come on. Suck it, 8 rings. "Yeah, and the problem for us is once the camp is closed, we go back to that 5 minutes of availability during the season or whatever and you see stretch and maybe in a positional drill, you don't really know how involved he is with your own eyes and you obviously can talk to players, but you know, there's some messaging that goes on there. They know what to say and what not to say. We've already run into some of that here as you go through the course of OTAs with the streamlining of the offense, but no one is really willing to sort of tell you how far that's gone. What do you mean by that? So yeah, I think that would be something that would catch my eye a little bit. But again, to your point, Alex, knowing you have someone like Mayo and for whatever you think about Stephen Belichick is sort of the defensive coordinator that de facto defensive coordinator, there is respect for him from players for his knowledge of the game and the way he teaches the game. So yeah, there are people there that he knows and trusts pretty implicitly. I know he jumped in last year at various points, but like generally, I think there's a good feel for that side of the ball defensively. But yeah, you got to watch over. I'm turning over my quarterback to Joe judge and I'm turning over the offense by and large the map Patricia, how does it go? I want to be there and watch it. I want to see how they communicate. I want to see what players are saying. How are the interactions going? Because he's kind of keep an eye on that to whether it's working or not, and hey, reinforced, keep doing that, that's working, or you know what? That thing that you were doing there, let's not go there again. But it's on him if it doesn't work because he's the one who stubbornly didn't go get. I think he embraced it though, right? I think part of it is Bill being like, fine. You know, like we've done this before. And I know it was different. We did it with Bill O'Brien. We did it with Josh. So we did it with Flores. So it certainly different and he's just like, fine. Who are you? What's her name? Matt Patricia. What do you do? Defensive coach. Great. You're running the offense. I'll see you later, you know? What? I have been trying to find. I don't know even how to search this. If any coach has ever been on separate occasions, an offensive career. There's been like head coaches that have multiple Raheem Morris. Now, I don't know that Rahim was a play caller though. He switched in Atlanta from offense to defense to offense at one point and then went back to defense with the rams. So like, I don't know that he was ever a play caller, but that was like, in recent memory, that's the only one I can think of, they sort of, they shifted a midstream. They were like, you know, you know what? We're gonna bring you over here. We need your ideas over here. So, but yeah, I don't think he called the play. So I guess the comparison stops there. But you're right. But that kind of proves the point, right? That's close as you can get in theory if they were to at some point down the road, give Patricia the title, he might be the first pray and I just looked at it Morris. He was the passing game coordinator. He was never the offensive coordinator. In addition to he's now a D.C. and all that, like patrician theory, if they ever gave him the title, might be. And again, I am not going to go through every single coach in several coach in the NFL. But it's really tough to find somebody who has held both The O.C. and D.C. titles separately over the course of their career. One camp one thing I wanted to talk about in Micah, you mentioned among the things that you wanted to hit on this show. It's not quite a camp battle. But it is, it is if you play fantasy football. But that's about it. There's not going to be a bell cow running back and then everybody else. There's going to be a timeshare split. The question is, how split is it going to be? And for my money, I think it's going to be ramonda Stevenson, 60 plus percent of the time. And Jamie and Harris is going to be the relief guy. And then you're going to mix in other people, whether it's time Montgomery or whomever in other sort of roles. That's how I see it. It looks pretty split to start camp right now that they're both getting equal share equal opportunity. But Mike, what are your impressions? I know you mentioned when we talked about what do you want to talk about here? Ramonda. Is this kind of your feeling too on how he's going to be used this year? Well, I think it was interesting two things from him today about how much time he spent working on being a better receiver. I think it was part of his focus late last year. I think he clearly, this is something I got to work at and he spent more time working on that in the off season. I think he looks pretty natural, again, in shorts and t-shirts, but he's looked pretty natural over the course of the spring and now we're here into the summer. And the other thing I would say is down to two 25. So he's down about 7 pounds from last year. He looks quick and surprised. Again. But he still feels like he has the power, and obviously that's something that, you know, all of our eyes went, oh my goodness, this guy, you know, he has that sort of desire to just rip souls apart, you know, lower the shoulder, run through you, sometimes just seeking out that contact versus running away from it. So I'm curious to see that part, but he said he said he still feels strong, like he's just sort of redistributed the weight a little bit better. The thing to me here is that James White is a big question mark. I know they gave him a contract. You look at it, there's not a lot of guaranteed money involved. We didn't see him in the spring. Do anything of value, and here we are again a few months later. And he's still on pop. You know, I know our boy Mike Reese went to an event and he's like, he's still walking kind of funny. It wouldn't be shocking if he was a camp retiree. No, it's kind of where I'm going, and I don't look, I don't have any insight on this one. I've been letting it breathe a little bit with James because I know how important the game is to him. I don't want to be down his throat. Like, what's happening? What's going on now, but you do wonder, it was a serious injury. The respect between the organization and James is such that, hey, James, do your thing. Take your time. If you can come back and you can make it back, that's wonderful, you know, more than happy to have you back. But if you take this time and it still doesn't get better, then we can discuss other options, but he is a patriot, you know, through and through, I think Bill feels very strongly about him. So I don't think there'll be any pushing there of James White in any direction other than the direction he wants to go. But I think in saying that, there's a huge void. And we saw it what James was able to do just with the brief time that he and Mack were together and did not have that sort of safety valve, Bolton did a solid job trying to fill those shoes, but I wonder just based on the work he's put in and the way he looks so far from Andre doesn't get a piece of that role. And then maybe your number of he's the 60 to 40, maybe that number is more split down the middle just because they realize, hey, in passing situations, more often than not, it's going to be ramond. They did draft two backs, but despite some weird buzz about strong, like we haven't seen him do anything. So I don't know that you can project those guys anyway. And I would also say, for a young player, a rookie to assume the passing back

"The second phase for me. So join in, go check that out. And people always, I know myself and Kelly do this all the time when we go traveling. We always check out reviews, you know? What's the star review? I won't stay at a hotel if it's like under like four stars at least. You know, I'm talking about that. It was not the four star hotels that cost a bajillion dollars. But athletic greens over 7005 star reviews. So bedard's behind it, there's a lot of people that have gone online and given this a 5 star review, it's tough to have, you know, 7000 plus reviews and have them be 5 stars. So check it out, athletic greens. All right, let's jump to the top ten players, Greg, that need to step up for this season to be something. I did not have a ton of time to put my list together. So let's run through your list. I think most of my list looks like your list. Let's start at the bottom, okay? Let's start at number ten. The tenth player or players, which will make sense in a minute. That need to step up for this be something, Greg. Yeah, I have the pass backs. So among James White, Pierre strong, JJ Taylor. I think that, and to give people a little context, this is if the Patriots are going to, you know, right now everybody thinks they're sort of middle of the road, not sure what to make of them. Tough schedule, tough division, all that stuff. But if the Patriots are too surprised, if they're to go on a run, say, like 2001, something sort of out of nowhere. This is sort of my ten most important players that need to play well for that to happen. And I think the pass backs, you could boost them up the list. But I think that, look, James White got hurt last year while they certainly got some stuff out of Damien Harris and ramonda Stevenson and Brandon Bolden. It wasn't the same. And so Mac Jones doing what he did as a rookie and not really having that veteran wingman that even Tom Brady used whether it was Kevin faulk or Shane vereen or James White. Like in the most important moments, Brady could rely on those guys. Mac Jones never had that guy. So somebody has to emerge and be that guy for Mac Jones. And so I think that's important. Number 9 for me, Adrian Phillips. Now, his name being on the list might surprise some people and not say Kyle Duggar, who I think could stand to take a big step up. This year, but to me, I think that Phillips is more of a guy. I think Duggar, we know, and I think the Patriots know what kind of guy he is. You know, he's going to cover a little bit. He's going to blitz a little bit. But I think that Phillips, in terms of how much they ask him to do, how he's going to have to read the quarterback, how hopefully they keep blockers off of them. Where the big guys up front are doing their jobs. So Phillips is more free to be a playmaker. I think if he makes more plays this year and is able to do what he's best at, I think he brings up a bigger playmaking element to the Patriots defense and that would be hugely important. I was surprised by a Phillips on the list, honestly, because I think they're pretty good at safety.

"I think that there is a way or a world where I'm Andre takes on a lot of the past catching duties in this season because if James White isn't the guy, right, if James White starts a year on pup, if James White isn't the same James White that we knew, before this injury, they're probably not going to give that mantle tip here strong right away, right? He's going to have to earn that and probably go to rookie redshirt route. So I think ramonda might end up out snapping Damien Harris just because he might play on third down a little bit more than Damien Harris will. But I still think Damien Harris, like you said, fourth quarter, up a touchdown, need that big boy drive that we've seen in the Patriots run so many times where they've ice 8 minutes off the clock and finish with a field goal or a touchdown to secure the win. I still think that that's Damien Harris who gets the football in those situations. Yeah, I would agree. So again, the whole RB one, you have to think indifferent. It's not like fantasy football. It's not like mad and where it's a depth chart. It's more situational than that, which kind of you just touched on. Okay. I like this question. It's kind of related to the running backs. So what I was doing my first 53 man roster projection house, you did one too right after mini camp. Time Montgomery was the swing vote in a lot of ways, right? If a guy like trade Nixon, for instance, is gonna make this team, then it's hard to do it numbers wise if ty Montgomery also makes the team, right? Well, yes and no. I think part of it is what position do they see time Montgomery as? Sure. Like what if he makes it along with like, so Trey Nixon's your 6th receiver, but what if they see it as, all right, ramonda Stevenson, Damien Harris, maybe like James White to God, they put on the IR, but like, what if they only keep three other running backs? Yeah. Maybe time ongoings in the competition for that pass catching back rule. Definitely could be. Yeah. But I think that the problem is, is you start talking about just skill players in general, right? And getting trained Nixon on the roster, I agree with you a 100% that it is a little apples to oranges because they are different players and they're going to play different roles on the team. But I do think it becomes difficult when you just start to talk about the number, just the sheer number of it of skill players that think, hey, to keep some of these wide receivers and I think a lot of people like trade Nixon would like to see them keep around. And to keep both rookie running backs active, right? Let's say Kevin Harris ends up getting the Foxborough flu also, right? And they end up hurting him. Then it becomes a little bit easier. But you know the Patriots want to keep 9 or ten offensive linemen..

"Even if it's a monthlong injury, even if it's a 6 game injury. That if Bailey zappy could come in down the line and keep the Patriots above water for that month and then Matt comes back and now you're still in the playoff hunt because Bailey zappy went three and one or two and two and they didn't go zero and four without Matt Jones when he was sitting out. It's really unique for a young quarterback to be as aware of one through 53 as Mac Jones is. Right. And that's something that I think it stands out to him his maturity level in general is that he understands that everybody's got a role on the team and that everybody is important to the team in one way or another. And you heard some similar things in the past from Damien Harris as well. So I think this is an Alabama theater where Damien Harris understands that having Andre Stephenson on the team makes him better, even though you could look at it and say that ramonda Stevenson is his replacement at some point down the line. Iron sharpens iron competition is good, but also depth is good. And I think that they recognize that they have more wins in their back pocket and with zappy on the roster than if they didn't have those two guys on the roster. So it's an interesting situation. Obviously neither one of us is saying that Bailey zappy is going to make this a competition this summer and this is going to be a quarterback competition like we had last year with cam and Mac. But it's still an interesting pick nonetheless. And I think that it will be a very notable topic as we move forward to see how well he can do in training camp. We have seen between Stidham and Mac. We've seen some young quarterbacks recently in camp. So we know what the line is, right? Like we know what we know what looks good, what doesn't look good and those types of things with these younger quarterbacks. So we know how our eyes are calibrated to evaluate them a little bit better now because we've been through this a couple of times. So it'll be interesting to see what he looks like..

"Then was it montree who missed a colts game and Davy Harris got tired at the end or something like that. I might have had that backwards, but first off, running back is really two positions. It's early down back, it's past catching back. And then you really, they like to have two guys at each at least. They had two NFL running backs on the Ross or heading into the draft. In ramonda Stevenson and Damien Harris, those guys are great. Those guys are great. Damon Harris is also in a contract here, though. And he's going to get paid. He's going to be top three running back on the market next year. Maybe he gets paid by New England. He's going to get paid. So I don't think they had a pass catching down back on the roster. Love James White, great patriot. We don't know what his status is with the hip injury. It sounds like he's going to miss at least a starter camp and we'll go from there. JJ Taylor has done nothing in two years. I'm done with that one. And then the only other back they had on their roster during the draft was those big boat who they've since cut. They needed backs. They liked out four or 5 on the roster. Guys, you can do different things. It's not like there's a ton of overlap between Kevin Harrison Pierre strong. I think they're very different players. No, they needed backs was taking two in the draft because they've gotten one UDF a or sign somebody, maybe. But they didn't have enough backs. They don't have 8 on the roster. They don't. They have two established NFL backs right now. James White's a huge question mark. I like Pierre strong. I think pierce strong is a factor in year one. I learned my lesson about yelling about running back red shirts last year. They played from Audrey Stevenson. I don't think Kevin Harris plays here one. All right, not a ton. He's coming. Right. He's coming off a back, and she was a power running back. He needs to be able to hit people. I don't think they had enough. I still actually think they might be a back short. All things considered. I know people are going to crush me for that. I still think they might be a back short. They didn't have enough running backs. You need four or 5 guys in that position. Yeah, I'd say at the bare minimum to get through the season you need four. You need four healthy running backs. I think you need three guys in that early down back roll, that could at least play that early down back road and you need at least one pass catching back. Ideally, one of those three that I mentioned in the early down back role. But by all means, skimp at the position and we can do Stephen Jackson again. By all means, let's go down that road because we're met. By all means, let's go down that road. Let them draft another edge guy instead who won't play. And we'll do Steven Jackson again. That's the alternative. Yeah. I think I hated that take. No. I committed to running back too much. I know that they have too many running backs take. They didn't. Yeah. I think Belichick has learned his lesson, not only from Steven Jackson, but from Cordero Patterson in 2018, remember when they had to play CP at running back for like two games because they didn't have enough running backs. So I don't think the Patriots are ever going to be caught in a position again where they don't have enough running back. Since 2018, they had Jeremy hill, who tore his ACL in the opener, right? I believe..

"One 21 one 27 coming up today. The one other position I'd like to see them hit on, they took cold strange. They took care of the immediate need. It guard developmental stack. The long-term need to tackle Daniel fillet is still there. I know that's why tackle not left tackle. But he's a really interesting pick. And then, yeah, so if we're talking early early here because there's later picks, mark on McCall defensive tackle. Right. Excuse me. Let's get in the weeds, Evan. Let's do this. Okay. So I want to get, I'm going to continue to pound the table for Zion McCollum. Before we get okay, you do that. And then there's two more. Let me do this is my guy on day three. I gotta get my guy off, right? Okay. Zion McCollum on day three. I just love the idea of pairing this with the Marcus Jones draft pick because ziya McCollum is the opposite of Marcus Jones, right? He's 6 foot two, 200 pounds. Great length, great athletic tester outside pure outside corner. So with tremendous upside, they drafted taekwon Thornton at receiver. The taekwon Thornton of the cornerback group is Zion McCollum, or you know what I mean? So if I'm the Patriots I'm looking at it and I'm saying, we got a slot guy. Let's go out and let's get an outside guy now. I would love them to draft Zion McCollum here today. If we want to talk running back says, I do think that they're going to take a running back here today. Love Tyler Beatty. I think that that's right. I think he's the guy that stood out the most to me when I was watching tape on all these consensus running backs. He was really, really fun to watch. I would go with Tyler Beatty. I think that there's a little bit of Dion Lewis to his game. I think he's got that shiftiness. He's smaller, but he's bigger than JJ Taylor. He says a more in that Dion Lewis body type. And I think he's got great lateral quickness and just great contact balance and I think you'd be a really fun player in their offense. If you told me that ramonda Stevenson and Tyler Beatty were going to be their running backs for the foreseeable future once they probably don't pay Davy and Harris in the off season. I'm all for that. I think those guys are a perfect combination with one another.

"It was an utter failure in the game. This is the same guy who was a map. He's a map at tertiary favorite from Detroit. That's where he came from. They picked him up on waivers or signed them. I forget what it was. And they've been trying to make something like this work. Harvey langi, I don't think can come back off of IR this season. That might be it might have been his place. Remember Rae Quan McMillan was supposed to be that guy. He got hurt, has been on IRL season, but they tried to buy out there. It was not any better. It might have been worse in the game. So that's the biggest thing that worries me from this game as far as the defense, the offense. I thought macla some plays on the field again. He's not using his eyes as well as he did earlier in the season to look things off. He's a little bit late with this decisions. There was some improvement in this game, but there's still more than I'm like, he needs to be better. He needs to be better for them to win playoff games. Can he get there? I don't know, I think him and McDaniels are working on it. There was improvement over the previous two games. I just don't know how much. And I think that's it for the world let me ask you a quick question on Mac. How much of it and I know you notice his time per throw, you know, to get throws off has gone up. You know, in the last few weeks, but so has the average yardage, you know, per attempt. Is that by scheme? Are they trying to find stuff open more downfield than they were before instead of playing the quick out checked down sort of game or is he slower on his reads? Yeah, so yeah, and I wrote a column on this sort of breaking down Mac Jones. That's what John's referencing and his time to throw and his yardage were both up against the bills and the colts. To me, that was a comment. I don't think it was a huge departure. To me, it was a combination of falling behind big. In both games and they fell behind basically they had to take some shots. You know, for a half and a quarter, a combined 40 to 7, and those two games, so they had to take some shots, look for some more chunk plays. I also think those teams know how to play the Patriots. And we're taking away some of the shorter stuff and making Mac beat them down the field. The Jaguars were a lot easier to go against. So it was a lot easier to take the quick check down. But I do think the Patriots are trying to get back to, you know, look, the first season they're not going to be able to redo everything. So I think they're trying to get back to let's be a horizontal quick passing game. You know, even how Brady operated most of the time later in his career here instead of getting, you know, too worried about chunk place. Let's just stay in positive down and distance and the other stuff will come. All right, quickly, Jacksonville game, stuff that you found most encouraging that gives you confidence going forward. I think the running game in general, especially for Monday Stevenson, I think this could be a big ramonda Stevenson game the Jaguars excuse me. The dolphins.

"Day at a time, process, process. We know what the game means for our fan base. We wish they could have been in the building to experience. It would have been crazy. I'm sure. I hope everyone at home enjoyed it for myself, you work hard, you try to be consistent. He goes on and on and he says, I'm gonna go home tonight and take an hour or two to enjoy this with my family. But tonight, in front of a national television audience, in front of his fans, who got to be in the building to watch them basically, it's snuffed out by Bill Belichick in a wishbone offense. He doesn't want to give anybody credit. He is just, he's becoming unglued. I mean, he had quotes about Brian debel in the offense about how they didn't take advantage of their opportunities in this and that. This is not going down a good road for Sean McDermott at this point. They got Tom Brady and the bucks next week on short rest now. Now they've got to recover from this. You had I forget who was Micah Hyde or Jordan poyer, one of the safety sniped Jerry Sullivan who's a longtime buffalo news columnist when he had the audacity to question their run defense in this game, like they are just becoming unglued, like I've never seen before. I mean, I want to say it's sort of like the jets and Rex Ryan a little bit. You know, it just seems like these guys who challenge the Patriots at some point in time, they face facts where they come to realization and they're like, I can't win. And Tom Brady's gone, Mac Jones is in with Bill Belichick and they still can't win and they don't know how to handle it. Well, it's a good thing that bill's not petty or anything that he won't see these comments and take it personal. I would say 31 nothing patriots or this next time that they're going to meet in a few weeks. What? I can't wait for that game. I mean, look, one of my comments in my game report on BSA after this where I have three takes all likely regret later. And one of them was like the Patriots should be ready for fire and brimstone. That next matchup. These guys are going to be more red ass than they were in this game, which is hard to say because all McDermott did, and I watched them a lot from the box, all they did was complain all game Josh Allen's complaining after every play. This guy touched me, this and that. Their season is probably going to come down to that game. So I'm just hoping that we get a good weather game. And that one, because I really want to see these two teams go toe to toe, not that I'm not saying that to lessen the Patriots victory in this one. No, I thought it was a tremendous win. And just exposed how much of a pretender the bills are. But I really want to see Josh Allen and Mac Jones actually out to attempt passes to win a game. That's what I want to see. But that next matchup, the bills are going to have no choice but to win that game. So they have to pull out all the stops. I can't wait for that rematch. Hey, Greg, I wanted to ask you Kyle duggar, obviously didn't play leads the team in tackles and miles Bryan obviously made that great play at the end of the game, Phillips made some nice stops as well, but what did you see out there tonight that was different with Al Kyle dug around the field? Nothing. It was hard to see in this game because they were playing 8 9 guys in the box. They were they were playing with fire, that whole drive, and I tweeted it out at the time, like with their coverages. Like they started out man the man and the bills were starting to find some match ups. Dante Hightower on a running back. They had some plays down the field. It didn't feel like it was going to a good direction. Then they switched back to some more zone. It's tough to tell in this game. I am worried about Adrian Phillips. All of a sudden out of where I was watching the huddle during a two minute warning. And at first it looked like he had an equipment issue. Yeah, what happened? This was weird. Yeah, because they came back. So it was during the two minute warning and they're just in the huddle and then all of a sudden, Adrian Phillips was like on a knee and all of a sudden I noticed a couple of his teammates were like calling over to the sideline. And I thought they were just telling the official like, hey, he's got he's got a shoe issue like we need to handle this. And then suddenly the trainers came out and he went down to the turf and they were they were looking at his leg and it looked like they were doing the ACL test on the sideline. And as he went off, a handful of his teammates went over to him and pat them on the butt and it wasn't, it was kind of like one of those solemn departures. It did not look good. I am alarmed. I haven't gotten any new information on that. I have tried to see what is going on. But hopefully it's just, you know, a hyperextension or something like that because they can not afford to lose Adrian Phillips. That could be a game changer on defense if they lose him. Yeah, so I don't know if you saw this he tweeted about an hour ago in all caps. Thank you God, with two exclamation points. So maybe he got an MRI. Yeah, an MRI quickly. But it may have been one of those non contact things. I agree with you. I was wondering in the studio, wow, what would happen to you? Because I didn't see anything on the play. So maybe it happened to that two minute warning, but he made a really nice play on Dawson dog, so I know Bella is funny 'cause last year remember Belichick wasn't so high on Josh Allen this week. He's like, oh, he's great. He's unbelievable, but kind of took a few shots at Dawson docs as well. Yeah, you know, I just, you know, this type of game favors the Patriots just because of their coaches and their special teams, and how they do the little things well. And that's really how they expose things. I mean, I just think that, you know, I would like to see this bills team against the Patriots on a real day. I'm not saying that it's going to be any different. I mean, it'll be at Gillette. You would probably favor the Patriots. And they'll have to play different ways. So maybe the bills prepare. You know, in a different manner, but yeah, I mean, I think that I don't think that the Patriots have a whole lot of respect for many people on the bills the way they defend them and also the way they go with them defensively. I mean, they basically just went right at them. The whole game. And you know, I got to hand it to ramonda Stevenson, his stats don't look like much 24 of 78 to 3.3 average, but I thought he was tremendous in this game. I mean, he basically at one point I tweeted out that it reminded me a little bit of John riggins, a little diesel action in there, just going up in there and taking a pounding and holding onto the ball. I thought he was tremendous. They had a nice little thunder and lightning package going there with Damien Harris had the three biggest plays of the game for the Patriots. Stevenson did more of the dirty work. I thought it was a really nice tandem game for those guys. And I got to tell you, it's hilarious to every game book that we get at the game. They have this thing where it says ten longest plays for each team. I have never seen it before where every play is a running play. I've never seen that before. And that's just the way it kind of game it was. And with the way that I set this off air to Joe earlier, you know, the way that this bill's team is built, they're not built for where they play in a game like this. They need to be able to run the ball better and they need a player like Roman re Stevenson. Like that's a type of back they should have drafted this year. More with and also they're not very physical upfront on the offense. They can't run the club tonight. What is it is a Feliciano being out? They can't. He's not even that good. He's certainly an upgrade over boat boater, who's over there right now, but Mitch more's the center. He was terrible in Kansas City. Kansas City wanted to have nothing to do with him. He comes here. He's terrible. He is so un physical, the right guard. I'm trying to figure out trying to think who that was. Oh, Daryl Williams. He's more of a backup tackle, Spencer Brown, the right tackle, had some issues with Kyle van noy in this game. They're weak there. The Patriots running on them and they still only had two.

"It has that same feel that they had the last time they won the Super Bowl. Now the quarterback is different. Mac Jones, as well as he is playing is not playing as well as Brady did during that Super Bowl 53 run. However, the defense is doing what they have done over those over that really good run. And the power run game is back. I mean, ramonda Stevenson was filling in for Damien Harris in this one. And he was he was absolutely dominant. I mean, he was just dragging Cleveland's linebackers with him consistently downfield here. And this is a team, since they had negative one rushing yard in that loss to the bucks. I mean, they've consistently been up there well over a hundred yards every game. They went for one 84 and this one granted playing with the lead from the majority of the game. But it was a legit one 84. It was a well earned one 84 in a game where they just sort of front 5 was winning. They had a beat on what the browns were doing. And Stevenson just sort of went where he wanted to go. It'll be interesting to see in the coming weeks because we'll have some tests for the Patriots. While the back half of their schedule is there are some soft spots coming up are some difficult spots because they have Atlanta next week, but after that, it's the Titans and the bills and back to back weeks. And then they play the bills a second time in December. So it's going to be an interesting stretch for the AFC east, and there's a lot more theater to the division than we thought early on in the season. But then after that, you know, their last two games are the Jaguars and the dolphins. Those could potentially be good places for them to pick up wins. I like them as a playoff team and they are still very much in the mix to win the division. Do you think that if the Patriots make the playoffs in the Buccaneers don't, or if the Buccaneers lose in the first round, people start asking stupid questions about like, was it really Bill Belichick all along? You know, I think people will Bill Belichick and apology. That's what I'm trying to say. You're all very mean to him after the Patriots or the Buccaneers won the Super Bowl. Very mean. That narrative will be so spectacularly stupid. I can't wait for it. It's gonna be awesome. It was stupid last year and it will be stupid this year. And it will be stupid for the rest of time. Stupid for the rest of time. I'll preempt everybody else by bringing this up. The team that I picked to make and or win the Super Bowl is not performing well at this point and I actually have a column on our website at this moment. Basically waving the white flag on my Super Bowl pick here. Yeah, they're not making the playoffs. They're definitely not making the playoffs. My Oracle vibes were completely off on this. And their end of season schedule is brutal. It's really difficult. So I don't know what happens here. And I think it's weird then because you sort of funnel into an off season now where you have to figure out the quarterback stuff and you almost like, I don't know. I mean, unless you're getting Kirk Cousins or somebody else like that, I mean, I don't know. Yeah, yeah. This team can't draft somebody right now. So they have to get into the mix for a veteran quarterback. Yeah, I think it's going to be the last few weeks of the season and then what they do in the off season just going to be an interesting string of events, Connor..
