"Don't like Atlanta a whole heck of a lot. But 4.5 is an awful lot. I don't like the Cowboys are better. Then the Atlanta Falcons by more than a field goal, so I will take the Atlanta Falcons getting 4.5 make that bet you're going to Sizzler way go with is the Eagles are at home against the Los Angeles Rams. They were the Rams. They went to ST Louis. Then they went back to L A doesn't matter. The spread is on ly one. Chris Tucker. Is that enough? Wait. No, that's not enough. Dallas Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy: "We're closer than you may think we are."

"Let's go to Dallas, his head coach Mike McCarthy. He made some bad decisions in Game one up against the Rams, not kicking the field goal early in the fourth late in the game, his team taking his time. When there should have been more urgency. Here's Mike McCarthy saying that analytics because now Mike McCarthy's Mr Analytics indicate the Cowboys there on the right track overall, you know, just to give it our all of our football team. Frankly, we looked like a football team that played his first game in some areas and another is I thought we don't have a lot of really good things. So we have a grating index that we put a lot of time into. And So we're closer than you may think we are.

NFL reminds teams to follow sideline rules on face coverings

"The National Football League is threatening to find head coaches if they don't adhere to Corona virus rules requiring face masks on the sidelines. During the first weekend of games. Some coaches were saying not wearing coverings. We have the latest from NPR's Tom Goldman. In a Monday memo to the NFL's 32 teams. We'd executive Troy Vincent praised what he called the tireless efforts to make the season possible during the pandemic. But Vincent also warned those who defy rules unmasks everyone in team bench areas on the field except players has to wear a face covering in all times. Failure to do so, Vincent wrote, will result in accountability measures against individuals and or clubs. Those measures include finds during Sunday's nationally televised game between Dallas and the Los Angeles Rams. Ella head coach Sean McVeigh, often at his mask under his chin, while Dallas is Mike McCarthy wore his thie entire game. Tung Goldman NPR news

Should 49ers be worried about Super Bowl hangover?

"Super bowl hangover thing it's talked about a fair bit and I'll have to bring it next time on. But I've tweeted about it before and and noted that the team loses the Super Bowl auction has huge trouble making the playoffs the next year Then that's the super bowl loser not the winner. So outside of the New England, Patriots who bounced back off that Philadelphia lost that we were both there for in Minneapolis and beat the rams the next year usually look at the rams last year out of the playoffs look. The Falcons the year after they blew the twenty eight three lead out of the Playoffs Carolina hasn't won a playoff game since they were super bowl loser. So you double back over time you see it a lot. I wasn't expecting the forty niners and I'm still not to miss the playoffs. But what what's being asked to them in the NFC west where I think the best three teams are that will finish one, two, three, NFC, the AFC may change my mind about that if either of the Ohio teams steps up in his really good they both lost yesterday. In different circumstances but I think this is the only division that can necessarily happened in some people like the NFC north I should point out because they liked the lions but we saw what transpired with him yesterday. So it's GonNa be a tough decision to win games in that, and that's one of the forty niners are really really gonNa want back and for Jimmy Garoppolo non no interceptions but there was just nothing exceptional about his play yesterday and we saw a lot more check down as well to to Mostert than than we wouldn't necessarily expected look you. Also take George Kit off the field, and that's a factor and a needs to get talked about and discussed that he had to play a good chunk of the game a game they end up losing by four points at home, and he had to play good chunk of the without George cadle do that to the cardinals take the Andrei also field for for a couple of possessions and Arizona struggled a lot more than

Does Dallas have legit beef on offensive pass interference call?

"Let's talk some aforementioned cowboys in La taken on the rams. Here we go. Brandon boys down three DAK finds Michael Gallup down the sideline third and ten get him into field goal range but but hang on wait one second. A flag is thrown on the play for offense, a pass interference Gallup flag for contact with Jalen Ramsey and. The cowboys rams win it twenty to seventeen spoiling Mike. McCarthy's debut spoiling DAX season opener spoiling will you get how spoiling works? Here's the head coach on that costly pass interference call. Re I really didn't see a replay of it just watching it live. It looked like two guys hand fighting I thought it was well executed. I was I was surprised a call there. either. Way So. Very obviously disappointed in the in the call particularly at that point in the game I I thought they live both teams play tonight and you know you just don't usually see that particularly. Critical point a game. So I have not seen a it. That's about as much as I can comment on. It was clear as day they wouldn't have called then I would have been. Highly upset So it was clear as day opinion. Also. But that's what I. That's what I saw in filled out there. All right. Then the lots of get to in this one, let's start with that offensive. Pi Brandon. You've been moaning and groaning through these highlights. Did you think it was a call or not what you make of it? I'll say this by the letter of the law, this was the right call but this is the call that frustrates wide receivers and quarterbacks around the glow. Alright because when you look at it, who's the first to really engage in hand combat down the sideline jail? It's usually the generally be. Of course Yup. So what are you re Mr referee what do you want me to do? Jalen has my arm. How do I get my arm away? We're taught not to be violent with the shove and not to be violent what the separation. This Gallup did exactly what he was supposed to do. Now I will say this nick let me ask you this question was the game play. The game was played with an essay, right? L. A., Hollywood. Do. You know fun fact Jalen Jalen Ramsey his his hand coach Berry. Nez. Did a phenomenal job with them. The best thing about this was Jalen Ramsey acting job he added like. Shove to the sideline. Yeah. That was the best part about it. That's why he got this call. It reminds me of the basketball players flopping. This was a bad call, but we really look at the law if we want to see this call change moving forward.

Got Into I didn't realize they add new episodes every week I watched like in a row and say, oh, that's it. And this this year was a little bit different because there was no preseason game. So they didn't get into a lot of that stuff, but I thought was pretty good. So Patrick Conroy, Giorgos roommate, how is our quarterback feeling about? No rehearsals before the great on they did some scrimmages within within their team at so stadium which looks amazing by the way I don't know if you guys gotta channel my Gosh I can't believe we can't go to it. You know. That's painful. But it's still it's still going to be a great season without fans will still good on TV that's for sure and Patrick I understand jared Goff's on a new diet. Yes he started a new diet just kind of. Get himself feeling better looking better So I think that this should be good for the coming season on my refrigerator I put my inspiration and I've got pictures of David Beckham and I've got others up there. Yes. So he's he's done a lot of that stuff. Dallas Cowboys Quarterback Dak Prescott Acknowledges Mental Struggles Of Offseason

"He he gets gets ready ready to to take take on on the the Rams Rams Sunday, Sunday, Cowboys Cowboys quarterback quarterback Dak Dak Prescott Prescott Is Is opening opening up up about about a a very very personal personal struggle, struggle, and and he's he's helping helping countless countless others others in in the the process. process. I think that's AH fake leader I think being a leader is about being genuine and being real is the quarterback of America's team. Dak Prescott is opening up about his most personal struggles off the field, his brother's suicide in April and his own depression. For sure, I realized it when you have thoughts that you've never had, I think that's more more so than anything the chance to realize it and recognize it. On to be vulnerable about it. Press cuts Honesty is drawing praise for mental health professionals like counselor Melissa Caldwell Angle who says many people are battling depression and feelings of isolation during the Corona virus. There are more unhealthy people right now, I think more than ever. I've been doing this for 30 years angle, says Prescott. Openness can help others realize they need help to get back to do this. I think it was Is tremendously courageous, and we need more people like him. You just can't go public with it. In my humble opinion commentator Skip Bayliss on his Fox sports show. Undisputed with the take, he admits will be controversial, but we all went through Cove. It's some sort of depression. We like Bayliss claims is an NFL quarterback. Prescott has no business showing his vulnerability. I don't have sympathy for him going public with. I got depressed. I suffered depression. Engel says she's heard the criticism. It's really coming from a place of complete ignorance and adds Prescott openness could help many others. I hope he doesn't change his position and continues to speak out. Because the world needs to Prescott says he has no plans to stop. There's a really mean ah, huge issue and it's a real thing in our world right now, NBC five Scott Gordon

Xbox Series S and X preview

"All Right Tom. You have just like dummy xbox at your house, but what is going on? You just plastic shells. He's just making videos with like should I tell you the story of week? So. They arrived on. Monday morning and like like I'm grumpy wouldn't say old berm like it and I knew phone and we get new laptop and he does know me I, know that sounds like. And and I'm like I mean a really fortunate position. But like once you've seen so much stuff once visited location. So many times he just doesn't. It's not exciting, right? So He's very me to get sight about technology but like Jane genuinely when opened up the series was like, wow, this is. Not. Excited by a brand new laptop with the latest graphics card a super fast processor and a ton of Ram Beautiful Four K. screed but you were excited by a plastic dummy box of the xbox series. And I don't know why. But it was late is is a deny it sounds really like fan boil some. It sounds like he was like Christmas I was like Oh this is so. Because I haven't seen it before. And I knew other people hadn't seen before. So is an element of that but it was also just like Michael being so small like how did how did they do this? That was my immediate thing was like how like will? It right. They haven't told me anything about it at this point. So they just sent me these damn dummy units and I was just like. BSO The dummy units arrived they respond to be I mean there was supposed to be announcing this thing next week. So there's going to be a bunch of like. Honey. Technical. In Belgrade, sessions where briefings for the press, so they give us the full information so that we'd have our goals like informative for people to read. That's great involved because like it just means that I can explain things better. readers get better pitcher and but then it leaked. So I woke up I can't even remember which day it leaked because it's just been such a week. But it leads at some point. Jews Wednesday. Up, and I was like Oh God like zoo happen, and then like that will C- kick Mike soft intellect panic mode we need to announce everything because everything's leaked. So they like just dumped the whole thing. The experts pricing everything. This is a trend because Google does this now and the thing leaks that just like Oh. Yeah. Okay. That's Just did it with the wing? Yeah. Well, I mean L. L G announces every single practice makes fifty times so. Count. But it's a pattern. We might as well, just announce it. We're done I think I think with Marxist cases that I've been. Flight. Will to years. Alongside bunch of reposes will. But like I think for them, it was like they needed to explain his fingers like the thing suspending. Well, this is the experts series S. His basically a smaller more budget friendly and and let's say less performance. Experts console than the bigger experts series X, which I'm sure most people listening to this probably familiar with Bono and it's basically designed for fourteen Philippi gaming. So like that's I, mean I'd say the vast majority of Mona's out there today that people gaming on the moment. East acton on the TV's and stuff but like this is a pretty good. Sweets book fully Philippi right now, spy from the PC side and. It's like a good talk. And they basically promising a symbol of architecture and all of the next gen premiums from the series. Excellent. CPU cloud under two hundred megahertz. The thing I care about is, does it have the the fast d at the series extras? Yeah. It does but it's five hundred, twelve storage instead of one terabyte. So there are no right. There's no Dr. Discloses all digital. Is Two hundred, ninety nine buffs, which is, which is good. I think it's like that's a pretty impressive for us but this is obviously the the the drawbacks to it. No disks will do diesel prices. If Games are typically higher yields, he can't use use games I think a lot to see Sonia my soul. In some way I'd love to just say my district sorted signing just digitize as well. I think we spoke about that on the way I look at like this series s is I think he's great life. If you kid you place fort like twenty, four, seven in bed, remove ten ADP TV because you haven't spent. Two Thousand Bucks on the Keio lead for them. Surprisingly. Like. I think I. Think it's great for that sold market like having. By that for Free Hundred Bucks and they get the new CPU the new ESA stays below times and the performance overall will be like way better than expos one. Like it just depends how it compares to the to the series x I. Think like they're doing some upscaling stuff for four K. if you really want to touch, it's a four K.. By Donna, how good that's going to be. That misses the point like. Different market. But what is the market for fourteen forty game I mean When you say monitors get it but most people with fourteen forty P monitors plugging PC's into them not consoles I is fourteen forty pm out. So I think the market is really ten API. which which is the TV's. Still turn EP like I would probably imagine the forty percent Stilton apr there at the moment. And I think that goes wildly up when you look at bedrooms and like kids rooms like where you're buying a typically smaller TV and you're not gonNA get e can't even by like a smaller lighter the twenty. Shit Four. K. TV. It's just they just don't exist. Although maybe they do but like. Just don't sell volume and I think that that's the market. That's the market ICS. Definitely. Going for like the MOMS and the POPs the shopping around at Christmas and they want to get their gear console they want to get something this noon and stuff, and these things only gonNA come down in price. So to me the market for the series S is. Why definitely have to buy a playstation because I want to get those games and if Playstation maybe I'll get the best one because I don't know what's going on the cheaper one about they're going to do there. And so if I've done that I still kind of want an xbox because I'm thinking about getting this Xbox game pass thing because he all these games on it. But I don't want to have to big ass consuls my living room saw the the cheaper xbox. I'll get the cheaper xbox to play Xbox Game Pass Games, and then I'll get the more expensive PSI to be like my main console that I get like my kick ass four K. stuff on it is. So blindingly clear which one of you has a child in which one doesn't. Just putting. Very obvious. How your perspectives shifted. Like I would say game passes Tom to your point you the game passes the thing here right? Like, yeah. If this is a Fox for your second TV or your kids TV, then what you need is a cloud gaming service. They can address all the xboxes right. And if you don't have a disk, doesn't matter because all the Games on the cloud anyway and you're just moving licenses around and maybe you're going to get to to streaming games in this thing, will be able to stream the games right like. You kinda see where they're going is these are just sort of client units for an xbox service with different GPS. Yeah. Exactly. It's different. Slight different economic you a bunch of specs and people who've been tweet me thousand times a minute this week. But you can argue a bunch of stuff to the essential differences between the two is the once targeting Larry's Lucien Melissa's and TV's and the EVA's talkative. Okay. Like that. That's that's basically the basic gist of the if you were really simplifier. And I think the cheap one is really gonNA appealed to the experts getting pulse market. Like that. Is Probably the best for you and gave me right now like I. Think it's very. Apple, arcade. Lately, just added a play or that it didn't add it to base expos game policies to the almost see have to you have to pay the all of the xbox names are bad and confusing. And then there's the P. C. There's the version that you can also play it on PC, which now costs more, right yes. Let's give me ten bucks a month by feel like that's I mean if you experts came all that covers you on anyway. So feel like you just. Denies. People go for the old anyway I think. So you've got the the series as the that will call the ten ADP model because I think it's functionally what it is even yeah basically forty nine. To Ninety nine, the series x, which is the four K. high refresh rate. Refrigerator refrigerator model. Model model is four ninety nine, which is actually still very aggressive and my mind and just based on what can do and then experts expensive. The Ninja xbox Game Pass Ultimate Yep is twenty five bucks a month in. Fifteen a month. But if you pay more and then you get a box out of it to write for twenty four months, you you you pay the subsidize. It's like a phone plan. Basically you get you pay a little bit more and then you a paying down your hardware and installments and it's basic. Tech Industry only has one business model which is. And T. in two, thousand and four. Yeah. But right. But that's a killer deal right that she ended up paying less over the twenty four months than you would. If you bought them separately right when you can get either right for the Yup can get the X. which I think is four, nine, nine a month I think. Five month or twenty five, the S. I I see that I'm like I'm just GonNa. I'm just GONNA, X.. Whatever like I am going to do the dumb starbucks, which is it's three coffees Erlich whatever. AM. And that is just a brilliant move for Microsoft, right? Yeah. Basically make an expensive thing seemed cheap even as maybe in the end, it's only slightly cheaper than buying everything out right?

But if you see a slow a dried has to take a longer amount of time to cook I always think that's good into look at actually how long it takes cook it from the pack is says your Spaghetti takes like fourteen minutes but something bad instead of ten or eleven it's a nice big spaghetti by the Nice Hodge wieght and it takes time to cook, but it's going to be chewing delicious. Anyway you need spaghetti. Hasley, dry Chili, white wine, and unique clams. Really a peasant can he love clams but equally, if you make has to climbs with like ten clams lesson than that is absolutely delicious and the juice they create makes much wonderful sociopathic. So festival, you're GONNA have everything ready for this dish because once you making it, you gotta move kind of fast. So let's save a gonNA. Do that you people you need a couple of hundred grams of Spaghetti. You need a big hand full of Nice. Salted Wilshire associates the see. Boiling rapidly, you need to finally up to cloves garlic your time you're doing this trying shook the evenly and small, and you need a handful of parsley flatly parsley leaves pig from the studios. Again shops when I'm joking Parsley, why do is I kinda scrunch up into a bowl and then again big shove knife and so slice through scrunched up all of Parsley as finally as I can and then go through it again once at done that in judge Moore says really fine many needle clams anything from ten to betty offense they come in different sizes it kind of normal Palo plans again, this country really good. I. Tend to choose the smaller ones just because the big ones could be a little bit cheery and be not nice. And why do I washed clams under running Warta just to make sure that not gritty. Swish Moore around, and then if they open while washing them, you can throw those ones. Sometimes they it's like only salmon them in those the you get rid off, but they should just be tidy shot Monday, running water and Swish around in a single appeal something for a few minutes just to get them nice and clean 'cause it's a bit disappointing when you you're clams and you get a bit of sand I mean he's not the end of the world who have made you sick. It's just wants tweets and so you've got your big kind of woods boiling. You've got your garlic party jobs. You got some dried chili like crushed dried chili nice specific one just. Don't want it to be crazy hall. So if it's a kind of mild crush drudge chilly but we Quarter, teaspoon of something. And you got your clements watched and then you need a wide hand with a LID. If you have a big frying pan on a lead that fits on that side and my spine has it sometimes, you can use another one use a play or something that's ideal whose what you're GonNa do is you're gonNA. Steam the rams, and if you have the more piled on each other, they will open bat the juice from. The clams and the one which didn't mention you need a couplet glasses of white wine just dry white one needs to reduce. So if you've got the mobile pilot up in a small pan that juice one, Medusa wine and clam juice and oil anyway create the right kind of emotion fear. peste. Does funny because hardly any ingredients is nothing really technically but do but just got to pay attention to the details of can make. something. That is just unbelievably good. So you big votes spoiling your wide hand is now you're gonna put it on the heat and get aw- and you the pastor infest. So this recipe once you've got that stuff prepared it takes less time than takes Cook Pastor. So you can drop the spaghetti into the boiling water if your pan on some olive oil in the Pan and at the garlic and then just when that garlic. In, just a few seconds isn't good glove of olive oil by the way don't be shy it's a few titles swings and then he'd put garlic in just really starts frizzell before it's cooked too much anything you. But in a little pinch of Dr, Chilean you the clams straightway. Why normally then do is tad tossed them around said they get cut sit in this garlicky chilly thing on once clams get hot than they. Have Been. Put in the white wine, a big loss of two hundred Mil something like that, and then put the lid on straightway. A met should be lecturing around and steaming you pestis public been bullying this point for like three minutes and remember it takes ten twelve or something depending on the grand. Pasta. So you pass this boiling. You're Clemson's steaming. You'll Hasley chopped and you just wait a second. I but you just gotTa wait now in drink a bit of your white one and then when you pastor is three-quarters cooks your clams of probably open dictate the lid off the clam ham and then drain your pastor even though it's quite ready look in your clam hand, it should be nice and juicy but really cooking thing you pay attention because if you've got a massive pan and it was really really Hard and you wind might have completely reduced down by now. But if it's a small pan may not have reduced enough year, you wanted to be a good layer of Jews. But you don't want it to be ruled tree and as it reduces what happens is the olive oil, a most us in that mixture, and then you take the pastor drained it. We've just pulled out the with have tongues coming. And even though he's not quite could you into the clam on any says enough liquid that it looks juicy in statement good already that's fine. Otherwise put in a little bit of past awards. Back on so that the pastor is cooking in the CLEM. Pan Important that

Former Republican Governor of Michigan Endorses Biden for President

"Endorsed Joe Biden for president. He said President Donald Trump was not covering in the interest of the entire nation. I was at the nation's Capitol when Trump gave his inaugural address. I had hoped this first speech as president would be a message to unify divided nation. Instead, I heard a speech directed at how It would help the people who supported him. And sadly, that is how President Trump continues to govern. That's what he wrote in the USA today and then the free press governor. Snyder also criticized the president's 2017 tax cut and said Trump's foreign policy had produced some good agreements, but overall, our nation is no longer respected as a leader on world affairs. Jonas is Dick. Hey, Verner, Dick Wei talked a little bit about this yesterday. You weren't terribly surprised by this, But we're gonna have former governor Rick Snyder on in a little bit. And there are a few things I'm curious about. And one of those is and I wanted to get your take on. This is If the Republican governor doesn't like trump, and clearly he doesn't. Why not suggest ah, not endorse anybody? Or maybe endorsed some other great Republican as a write in candidate just to show your displeasure with the president. Why go so far as to Endorse a Democrat to endorse Joe Biden. Is there something about Joe Biden? He likes so much that's going to make him a great president. If he's just making a statement that Donald Trump is not not his guy. Why not endorse whoever his favorite Republican is as a writer? That's good question. That's a very good question. Because the governor Snyder says he is still East still considers himself Are Republicans. So why vote and why come out for a Biden, for example, his good friend John Kasich ran for president. Then he dropped out. Why not write in John Kasich as Hey, has the person he votes for? So that's a good question. Another good question would be what Policies of Trump. Does he support He can't be against everything that Trump has done has got to be something there that he likes because they're both Republicans. And he, after all, is the governor who several years ago. Boosted supported ram through and sign the lot. The right to work law in Michigan, making It's a ah ah, situation where we're workers that Aaron, a union covered by a union contract can drop out of the union and still be covered. By the terms of the contract, something that unions viral it Lee against. He was the right toe work Governor. So that was a very conservative move on his part, something that would be ah. Aligned with what the Trump administration is done on so many issues, So yeah. Ah, you raise a very good point, And I think I think that there's just something much bigger than this. I think I was reading a little bit of cut the Lincoln Project Republicans against Trump, but they are I think they're going to be coming out. Today, with maybe hundreds of businesspeople, politicians, people who say they've been Republicans for a long time coming out and say, both for Joe Biden. And that's just interesting to me. Why they don't voice their displeasure against Donald Trump More than vote for Joe Biden does. If you're a true Republican, wouldn't you think? Four years of of the Democratic president would do more harm than four years of president. Republican president that you just think is a jerk. Basically. Yeah, well, I'm I'm sure that you will have the freedom to ask that question of the governor also if the governor comes out again Against President Trump. And for Biden, one of the high profile members of the Trump administration is Betsy DeVos. Betsy DeVos, who would have been a Big Snyder supporter Back in the day one. Snyder was governor. This would seem to Ah cut off the good relations that he would have with Betsy DeVos, Dick DeVos and the DeVos. Organization and forces in Michigan. What what does he Snyder Ah. Think about that is he Is he through with the divorce is or can he maintain some sort of a friendly relations with them, even though he comes out against Trump If it comes out against Trump, he comes out against Betsy DeVos. Right and I also wonder does does this make Republicans think twice about voting for Donald Trump? Or does this make Republicans think less of Rick Snyder? Well, I'm not the judge of that you had you had posed the question Previously. Does this persuade Republican voters? I'm not sure that people look Any more at the endorsements of anyone. In fact, sometimes I think when we hear about a political figure endorsing somebody else for office It's quite a Ah, it's quite a bodacious action on their part, thinking that they're so important that their endorsement is is needed. Bye bye. The voters that we just have to know who they support or who they don't. I'm not sure that Snyder, even even the endorsement of a governor. Ah, former governor is that important to voters anymore? Republicans or Democrats cave after

"Ring whatever minimal amounts they can earn the patient goes I think reacting to things in the story that are actually in the text of the ram as announced by ACDC are it doesn't actually say they'll be eligible for rehabilitation programs I think that's yet to be determined so where are they literally going to end up if they go to these general in the prisons so there's a total of six prisons at our in the list and thing here and say yeah one of them is Corcoran the central California women's facility that's where the religious part would be yeah there's twenty two women who see who are not on San Quentin's death row they stay at the sight roll California women's facility in Chowchilla yeah I know at least for the time being stay there this is a pilot program by the way it's a the headlines is going to empty out death row or not correct so we'll just start with the trickle of inmates yeah and what one thing that I disagree with in this announcement is state they make it voluntary with the inmate and yes that's only for a pilot program maybe so but I don't think they should have any say in where their house to yeah I heard they have to apply right yeah that seems kind of silly to me I mean why why should their opinion have any bearing on the matter it shouldn't be about it it's not a benefit for them it's it's a move to save money and reduce the cost of the death penalty exactly I mean I've heard that some inmates since are not gonna be executed the way things are kind of like the situation they have at San Quentin versus going to one into the prisons we talked about as it was explained to me there is a a minimum amount of square footage the inmate is required to recieve by some consent decree and because the cells in San Quentin are less than double that minimum square footage as long as you're in San Quentin you get an individual cell there was also some concern from the other side that putting death row inmates in with the general population could be dangerous for the general population inmates because after all these are murderers yeah these are these are really the worst psychos imaginable I think in a welding some of the other prisoners or guards of course most murders in California or not on death row those on death row or a small percentage and in certainly in some cases they would be exceptionally dangerous and and should be kept in very very secure facilities and that's something that CDC are has to decide case by case there are gang members and then on death row who were capable of committing murders on the outside through their gang connections I got to happened I guess there is there's no legal option to challenge Newsome's moratorium is there that's the problem the constitution gives the governor reprieve power without any restrictions on it so the only real options to end a moratorium or either to amend the constitution or get rid of news it's going to happen this year yeah too bad all right can't we rage you know that's yeah I know he's it's a terrible terrible he's brought so much pain I am please send the timing to any prop sixty six was so great we got a past there's some good things in there about speeding up the appeals process and then we got this guy well you know it is order carefully I think it it was the fact that prop sixty six was succeeding that may damage the order that's yeah I just played very true yeah and it's a retaliation all right thanks can't for coming on can writing our criminal justice legal foundation legal director right prop sixty six or six suspected twenty sixteen the one that we pushed for the ballot to voter guide and got past it's going to speed up the appeals process but also when there because it's making news now was the chance to put some of these inmates from San Quentin moving to general prison populations around the state and that's what new since moving to do people have to vote for different breed a governor because it you're going to run AT last you to run I'd have everybody I'd have everybody executed by now you kid no way for making a big big show I doubt I'd go there myself I'd be Poland switches in general the one I like the best because I always take my quest the execution methods yes Sir drawn and quartered up if that's item two elephants our legs and arms and these have pulled apart but end of that yeah what you're what sound with that may what because I want to see pockets got Peterson go before I go I would tend to seem just pulled apart absolutely like a forty for direction all I you know I do the polling I mean I would I would yeah I don't know if you're strong enough it takes like an elephant out again today four of us I want to be at least writing on the elephant we'll be there pulling apart I'm more coming up Johnny kinship care by Deborah mark as there is a state lawmaker wants a bigger fool firm which depict prospective jurors in California right now people are chosen from DMV license and ID listen from voter rolls senator Scott Weiner wants to include everyone who files a state tax return air China has scheduled its last direct flight from the bay area to mainland China until further notice the final flight leaves San Francisco International Airport tonight at ten forty most airlines have canceled flights to China due to concerns about the covert nineteen coronavirus Facebook has changed the policy to try to deter the use of paid posts as political messages the change announced today follows news that former New York mayor Michael Bloomberg used a loophole to get around that policy will go to the four oh five and check in with the K. I find this guy next in the race for Congress there's only one proven conservative trusted by Newt Gingrich and Mike Huckabee to champion our values trump conservative Darryl isa I was figuring generation I want to take a moment to endorse Darryl isa is I've worked with I know he's a solid conservative it was the kind of person the president trump needs in Washington I know that is for clean the swamp of long before most people had ever heard the term I'm all for generalized I hope you will be too this is Mike Huckabee and news right I know Darrell isa he's a good man and the right man unlike some Republicans in this race Darryl is reliable conservative deeply pro life and proudly pro trump.

"Com to see how easy it is to switch and save on Renter's insurance did the bills lost the blueprint to stop Lamar. Oh we should be talking about. What Lamar Jackson? You did before the game with choosing to put on white sleeves or white gloves so that there will be no so confusion about whether or not he has his success because pigmentation in or not but he didn't play poorly yesterday. That bills defense is really going on the road. Yeah I'm sorry him not not playing. Well I'm sorry I didn't mean to me. It was that sounds it was fear. Oh sweet Jesus just one team all toward looked like teams often. Look on the road against good defenses. They want anyway. They'll because the bills are quarterback away away from doing the things that Baltimore is going to do in the playoffs. They say they got the blueprint. Unless you've got that defense. That defense is really good. I mean you know that has has to be really good because their records as good as it is with the quarterback they have a quarterback by the way who was awful in this game with Baltimore. Basically said we're willing to leave dudes wide open because you're not going to be able to process quickly enough to even realize that you gotTa do wide open and if they are wide open you're going to throw the ball over their heads and you got four quarters of their from Josh L.. Haven't figured out the partners that interests me is something that we always talk about with this offense that sooner or later someone's going to figure it out but we don't do the same thing with other offices sometimes they they have bad games. Sometimes they have good Games. This is not a gimmick this is not the wildcat this is a complex offense that puts you in compromising situations and then exploited those compromises that you make up in order order to stop it. This offense cannot be figured out but the way to slow it down with a lot of talent and it's something the bills have that's something that steelers have something the forty niners have those type of teams that can slow this offense now but nobody nobody can stop it or figure it out is Dell's relationship with the browns salvageable. He goes from New York and being a story every single week as he enjoys some attention even while complaining about too much attention to living in Cleveland dealing with the losing and becoming a number two receiver. WHO's only got to one hundred yards games this season so I understand why he wouldn't want to be there? I also understand that. He's under contract through the two thousand twenty three and they can't do anything with Odell Beckham and he isn't in a position where he has the kind of power that NBA guys have the can force their way out. While they're we're under contract he can make something of a mess. But football's restrictions are such that he can only make so much of a massive. Cleveland wants to keep him. Yeah but it doesn't seem like he's he's handling it that way. He's doing things in the quote professional way all the way along like it doesn't seem like he's creating a stir when they ask him about his injury and the training staff misdiagnosed. And you just kinda shrug it off yet quarterback who's supposed to be the CEO kind of figure of the team that puts everything in cliche terms the one that keeps making a mess. No matter what they win games he makes a bit of a media. Circus I'm not one. WHO believes in distractions but for all the people who do? How do you reconcile this with the quarterback that you think Baker Mayfield can become his stats? Look an awful lot like I. Jame is Winston when Jamie started his career and you also get on top of it some off. The field concerns that an art nearly a series of James Wesson but frankly as far as teams are concerned. They are often more concerned with the things that you do affect inside the locker room and and the things that you do that may run afoul of the law. I mean I think this is salvageable all the way to salvage it though is to win like if they get out here and win that how many of these things are actually problems but the question is with Ab win and they just gave the ball to Odell Beckham more if somebody could figure that part out if their quarterback would recognize the odor Beckham doesn't necessarily have to be single covered for you to throw him. The ball seems to be the solution to all of their problems is to get some victories. But do they have the pieces in place in order to win because we he came into this year thinking that they were overloaded with talent and they do have a lot of talent but they have a big old question mark at quarterback. And they're going to have a couple more years to figure this out with Baker because he's GonNa we get every chance to get it right but as things stand. He is a governor on how fast this car can go. There's something wrong in specifically with Jared Goff. The Rams quarterback the last three weeks fifty one point three passer rating second worst in NFL behind. Mark Sanchez one touchdowns seven interceptions during that time after the game. Sean McVay poop said all it. It's it's a coaching fault. It's my fault. It's not in knee. We between the lines. This is about Jared Goff. He's lost his favorite seamer Cooper Cup. He's jittery back there. He's cautious back there. And they're using new. They're masking new coverages for him. He can't seem to figure it out. This is on him. And he's been so cool. Now, we'll see if he can handle the what's your opinion that when McVay takes the podium and says this is on made this is on me. He's covering for golf, or he doesn't know what the real problem is. No, I think he's being very nice about saying Jerry Goff needs to get played forty page. How do you see these Rams are you panicking with an eleven and three team? No, I'm not there. I don't care. They only begged for teams for years. Pays no attention to the other one. He starts to wrangle them. Really? You want them to leave town. Why are you doing that Gadhafi is jittery back there? He looks frayed. He looks like he did when he was in the exhibition season of his first year. I think it has a combination of teams that kind of figured out what to do is all fence, they're stopping girly as much they can put pressure on golf. He can't throw down to field. He's not trusting his office of line. They're not trusting him. He's getting tried to get rid of the ball to quickly. But you also have to give some grief to that defense which gave up thirty points quickly last night to lead by has come back. But yet he looked lost on that long. Throw. He wouldn't gardening. You wanted to focus on the object. Over a second Kevin Blackstone because a month ago. This team is putting a fifty four points, and they were the brim to favorite to win the Super Bowl. What's happened in that time? Well, it's hard to ignore. What's happened to Jared Goff is Bill pointed out this guy had a hundred and thirteen quarterback rating up until the bye week. Second best in the league since then fallen off as Bill pointed out, but something else has fallen off..

"They've won their last sixteen games. They're ranked thirteenth in the country. Are they at the same level this year that they were at last year they appear to be, and I love paying attention to teams like UCF or teams like Boise state in the past because win the polls. We slot these teams that we then UCF last year net fourteen to fifteen area and we feel comfortable with them right there, teams in front of them lose, but we don't let them move up. We never let them let get to a position where they can threaten getting into a playoff. So this is going to be interesting there are putting up points as. Fascinated last year. They were as explosive as they were last year. So let's keep our eye on UCF who won a mystical national championship last season. Let's keep our eyes if they start to gain some respect when the polls when the real committee brings out the first poll, see where they are then and see where they end up if they keep winning. I will get you out of here on this BYU as already pulled off a couple of big upsets this season. They can do it again against number one, Washington. Do you like their chances? I do not. I. Yeah, yeah. I think that Washington is a team that they haven't looked great at times weeks -pected mouse Gaskins to have a big year weeks expected Jake Browning to have a big year and they just haven't looked like they're clicking on all cylinders, but I don't see them losing this game. We'll have a lot of fun in the Pac twelve because although Washington is the favourite, they're not a clear cut favorite pack. Twelve is gonna get interesting down the road. Just do me one favor. We'll bonds not here. North western plays Michigan. Please tell me Michigan. We'll win by at least twenty points. Well, the way Michigan's offense is looking in the past couple of weeks shave Patterson's getting going to run a game is getting going. And so between us three and I hope that will not watching this show right now, I do think that Michigan wins this football game. I don't know about how many, but I think Miskin wins the game. It's fabulous. Thank you so much your time, Joe, appreciate it guys. Thanks. You can catch more Joey tonight at seven pm eastern tomorrow on college. Football final. Let's take one. "PTI internal investigation has revealed tomorrow is Saturday patch with college. Football games tells us sort through them. We welcome in our good friend from college, football, countdown, Joey Galloway. We'll start with this number four, Ohio State at number nine, Penn State, which is probably the feature, Gabe. How vulnerable is Ohio State in this game? Given the loss of great defensive player, Nick Bosa. I don't think they're vulnerable at all. I think that they're the better football team. I don't see this game being close. A lot of people picked Penn State win the big ten before the season began. I don't see these teams on the same level. I think we'll have state is much more talented. I think Dwayne Haskins has put Ohio State on a different map than they've been in the past couple years, and I don't think this game's close. I think we'll have state wins it easily. All right, Joey. The other massive game number seven, Stanford traveling to number eight. Notre Dame Stanford got a little fortunate last week against Oregon. Do you like them in this game? Not just a little fortunate. They got a lot of work in it and it hasn't things have. That you don't normally see in a game where we're one team and Stanford didn't look like they deserve to be on the same field as Oregon and didn't things flipped around because that was such an emotional game. And now they're going on the road to a Notre Dame team that just switched quarterbacks at and book. I think that energy energizes a team and I just think seeing this game that Notre Dame will win simply because in book in his second start of season, we'll have just the biggest game as he did last week. I think that a lot of college football fans look at the top four teams. They look at Alabama, Georgia and Clemson and Ohio State, and they think they've separated from everybody else. But to people like me, it looks like Alabama has separated from everybody else, maybe in the last four or five, six years, Nick Sabin asked for criticism of his team the other day. So what do you got? What can you criticize with them? There isn't much, and I think that Nick Sabin knows that. And that's the way that's why he's asking for criticism. Usually he's the one criticizing. Usually he's the one picking out things about his. Team and saying, we didn't do this well, or we weren't very good and this area, and then this season with an offense is rolling the way they are a defense that's scorned touchdown, still being dominating even Nick Sabin can't find a reason to complain about his team. So he's reached out to the rest of us to please give us something to complain about what there really isn't much. You know, a big news this week, Clemson quarterback, Kelly, Brian is transferring after freshman, Trevor Lawrence won the starting job. Do you see in Lawrence with obviously, Davos Sweeney season? Lawrence. What I see is a guy that's a better passer, and I think Alabama started something last year and a championship game. We're going to see trickle down through all of college football where they got into a championship game with the guy that couldn't pass very well, and they got behind thirteen points and at halftime we switched the to the better passer, they win the year before they get beat by better passer into Shawn Watson, and it's been these threat quarterbacks taking over college football. And now what we're seeing is album goes to Ohio. Eight has Haskins. Now Clemson goes, Trevor Lawrence, not so that they can win this week against Syracuse, but so that they can get over the hump and win a championship this year was they couldn't do last year, Kelly who doesn't pass. This is the beginning of all these top teams. They're thinking, we go to a pocket passing quarterback to get over the top and win a championship. And that's why Clemson made this move right now. All right, Joey. Let's give central Florida a little love here..

So about the only had the pitch to mornings to get that money. Frank thinks about these Yankee teammates would have understood if he had not thrown at supremacy ejected. From this game, his wife amber said, hey, Seuss. That's five hundred thousand dollars down the drain. Here's the thing about CCC bath. Yeah, I think when he went out to the mount, I think is teammates knew he was going to do that CC's about the is beloved in Yankee land. He's made a lot of money overseas. Two million five hundred thousand listen center. It's general in the course of his five hundred thousand. I think this actually helps the legend of CCC bathroom tremendously. He goes out to the mound who was the first pitchy through. So he went out there knowing what he was going to do. And that's why he's a bull of Yankee still linked to the jeeter years. And Alex Rodriguez now to this group athletes always say it's a business and we understand it's a business. If you hold out, it's a business, it's okay. Nobody would have gotten mad at him if he didn't throw at this guy with a five hundred thousand dollar bonus on the line. But the fact that he threw it him elevates him to heroic stature EPs, and this is what you have to do. I mean, if it's an eleven nothing game and they would have said, look, I just wanted to get out of here. Everybody go home, but throwing at the guy in the cold. A baseball is the old thing to do. Absolutely. There. Hand, the Commissioner of police of baseball, and that's the thing about baseball. They're gonna come up with rules. Okay. There's a pitch behind him when Austin role might they warn both dugouts but you know what? The old school baseball players and that's the bath you. He says, I don't care that you warned me. Maybe just won't five hundred grand. If I were the Yankees, I'd write him a check for it because of what he did. Let's take a break coming up as Ohio State bowler tomorrow against Penn State, and we'll Notre Dame remain unbeaten after game with Stanford. That's again, by the way. "Houston couldn't convince you that they together last year. I think golden, thanks grey headed double digit lead. Did they win road in game games? Well, they didn't have Chris Paul. Now, I'm Chris, Paul and Jimmy Butler to the team, and I knew you would be the one to invoke the name of Carmelo Anthony on this show you couldn't wait. Is he on that team on that. I know he's your boy. I understand. Is you board, but you mentioned it. I'm saying that Golden State to me has looked like for three or four years, a truly great team, and I just don't think you bring next year with the Lakers what they do, not this year. But next year I may change my mind, but I think Golden State's outgoing every year late into junior, think catches up to you at some point it might own when you like ride a case. What people want. They want to be going into June. That's a championship week our day. One of the Ryder Cup in Paris is in the books with Europe holding a five, three lead the United States shook a three one lead with Tiger Woods and Patrick read the only Americans to lose in the morning session the afternoon, however, dramatically different European swept its first sessions. It's one thousand nine hundred nine. In fact, no match rates. The seventeenth hole, Tony. Do you think there's going to be a carryover tomorrow? And so I play a lot of golf. I'm not any good that I play a lot of golf and it never matters whatever I do on one day. It does not matter at all going in to the next day. It says, Earl Weaver says, momentum is your next day. Yes, none of that stuff now because if it mattered then why didn't the United States have lamented into the afternoon when they won three one in the morning because it actually doesn't matter. The thing that surprised me in the afternoon was why he would put Phil Mickelson out there in alternate shot when he's very like that his drive into the water. Phil Mickelson has to play homeboy. He can't play your. It doesn't work, and I think that has a lot to do. I think Jim furic he's the guy that you have to look at because people are calling for Phil Mickelson to be benched. So why terrible? They? Why? In the afternoon vision show you want to put them out there. I get that. But why not put Brooks kept out there who's won two majors ahead of ahead of Phil Mickelson. I was one five total before this fills a far bigger draw and it's a television show. And if you take fill the Paris and you don't play them, why did you take if you look at the Americans? Oh, off the tee. The not as accurate as Europeans, Brooke. He's the guy that can drive the ball there are that's anyone is opening match? Yes. There are people who whose careers are made by the Ryder Cup in poultry, great Ryder Cup player. Sergio Garcia's a great Ryder Cup player. It's possible to flee wouldn't all Anare will become great, Ryder Cup players. We don't have those yet because the Ryder Cup for us is fun. It's a nice thing to do. It's an exhibition. Everybody has a good time, but are Americans don't evaluate golfers in terms of the Ryder Cup because it's this off. Team. I mean a love watching it, but it's an odd. Small mentioned Francesco Molinari. He's great at Tommy Fleetwood tomorrow morning. They're going to be paired with Tiger Woods mistake. Tiger Woods got beat head to head by Molinari in in the British Open and got beat today. I, I would. I keep tiger away from him and I would, and the reports at a Paris that tiger with little tired, maybe as backs acting up a little bit. So everything that happened last week could be catching up to me. And then tomorrow morning, if he plays well, you know, everybody will be treatment pound sand. See some back..

"We got nine four hundred yards passing games. There were eight all of last year I think, yes, I think you've covered a lot of basketball. There's a revolution in basketball for fifty years. Basket was was played from the outside in now. It's just played on the outside. Why is that happen? Is the single most dramatic rules change in all of sports as the three point shot. And it's changed all the strategy in that game. I think we may be on the verge, a safety revolution, but a revolution that will create much more offense in football because people will be protected from what we've been used to, which is the great defense AB showing McVeigh's, offensive, genius. I got one according to allies. Jared Goff I quarterback to ever throw for four hundred yards and five TD's after three days rests. The last guy to pitch that wall on three days. Rest, your guy, sandy cove and he Colfax new, but there would not Thursday night getting forty five years. And now once again, we descend into the Jimmy Butler rabbit hole as we worry where poor Mr.. Alert will be exiled to the latest report is from Mark Berman and Houston who says Houston is making a strong effort to land Butler and a trade Frank. If this happens, would you make Houston the favorites over the warriors? I might just might really now while getting hang on a second. They were one game away from winning last year. And then Chris, Paul got hurt hamstring injury game six in game, seven then game seven. They were right there. In fact, they had double digit leads in game six and seven, then it could make it three point, but what happened? What have make shop now they'll get you Butler. Here's the thing while you and Mike were making personal appearances little meet and greet. I was actually in Minneapolis this week and that whole situation complete disaster. They're hoping to get the best deal that they can. If you think you get a guy like Jimmy Butler, who by the way is from Houston, good defensive player lost. Trevor REEs is so getting Jimmy Butler. There will help. I like their chances because you know what the warriors with all the uncertainty about Kevin Durant, even Klay Thompson, I think they're vulnerable. This is interesting. We'll bond takes the same position about Houston. We loves Chris, Paul. Yes, they got Chris. Paul who's never been to an NBA final. They've got James harden who has proven something over the last few years, and you know what it is. It's that he can't big shot in a big game in the fourth quarter. They now have Carmelo Anthony who counts the times that gets the ball in his hands and it's probably near the and should we buy that would be a very fine player. What Golden State has over them is Golden State is a team that has played together. Okay. At least three years, it's been there for three years. They made the finals four years of roll. They've won three titles..

"Are we looking what Walsh had with Montana a we looking at with McVeigh and Gough the same thing is this going to be a great combination just seem to be clicking and it's amazing to about Jared Goff. He's twenty three. He's only eleven months older than Patrick. Mahomes junior. They're actually very close in age and golf. When he came into your talking about Jeff Fisher, what about the media in LA and the fence? He started seven games as rookie. Five touchdowns seven interceptions idea was you know what? Maybe we made a mistake? That's right. I think that's what everybody was saying at that time the on the other side of the coin, you have Kirk cousins, who got all that money to go to Minnesota and give them the Super Bowl because what did they haven't played? They had a great defensive plays. Let didn't look. Offense beat defense last night. Mike Zimmer got beat by Sean McVay and they're now I think one two and one they lose two games and five days. And that's the thing. If you go back, they're losing on the road to the Rams, but they got blown out at home to buffalo. So the idea of Minnesota, Mike Zimmer kind of, you know, making their bones as a defensive team that has not been the case. They They should should've, have. it should've lost. So I think now if you look at it, I think the Rams are the number one team in the NFC and now there's room for Philadelphia who've been ignored. Yes, they've been ignored to come back up and let's remember another thing to the Rams do have some players on the defensive side a little banged up, which and they have a great defensive coordinator, absolute Phillips scoring. Just like the television ratings are up in the NFL and Jared Goff and Kirk cousins, like Tony mentioned it. Their part is both quarterbacks threw for over four hundred yards. As we know the rules are designed to help the offense. And Thursday's game was very entertaining, plenty of passing and scoring, not a lot of defense, Tony. Do you think last night's game is the future of the NFL and if it was people like it. So let's look at what we're talking about this year in the NFL where everybody expected. We would be talking again and again about people kneeling down for the anthem. We've heard nothing about that. What we've heard is the roughing penalty. The roughing, the passer penalty has become the dominant story. This is by design. I'm sure for the NFL. This is the future of the NFL games that in fifty five forty eight big scoring games because they want the quarterbacks to be upright and and we'll people like it. No people will love it. The only people like wilbon not that he's criminally, but because the team that he is rooted for the bears, they're built on toughness. They don't care about quarterbacks. They grind stuff out that that is going to become a relic that's going to become a covered wagon. Yeah, you know, it's funny. You mentioned the quarterback situation, Aaron, Donald had a play on cousins where he took him and threw him to the ground, like a sack of potatoes because he's not going to let them he's going to be on the ground, but I won't fall and we'll get the penalty. But in terms of offense. And that's the thing. Here's an organization that one thousand nine hundred wins the Super Bowl greatest show on earth. Kurt Warner had nine games of three hundred or more yards. He only threw for four hundred yards. Once granted, it was in the Super Bowl, but the rules now it's just the way they are. And if you have a halfway decent quarterback and clearly Kirk cousins and Jared Goff are that you can do this. The damage we've seen drew Brees do we've seen Ryan Fitzpatrick four weeks in? Okay, we're not even four weeks in because we haven't played the weekend games..

"Party interruption, but I'm Frank is Sola, hey, Tony. NASA says it's getting back to you. Pictures of Jupiter, Tony corners, really any pictures of your rain. So it's always funny, here's the thing. This is a, I believe, this is a true fact. There is a town in Missouri Uranus. Yes. And I think that a newspaper has just opened here reversing the trend of newspaper closing everywhere, and it is called the Uranus examiner. And that is just this probably cheaper to time somewhere at some point, I think so. Welcome. PTI boys and girls. We'll has the day off and I'm joined by our great friends from the I ninety five Carter and you have Mr. Frank is so long. Wow, that's pretty nice. And we begin today with last night's offense of fireworks the Minnesota Vikings put up thirty one points, but that wasn't enough because the Los Angeles Rams put up thirty eight, both quarterbacks, Kirk cousins, and Jared Goff when over four hundred yards, they combined for eight touchdown passes the Vikings are known for their defense. They could not stop the Rams. Nope, Frank to the Rams convince you that we watch the best team in league last night. I gotta be honest with you. I think I was convinced even before last night, this was a team that went eleven and five last year later Nagin the playoffs at home against it Lanta, but to me, quarterback offensive skill positions and then look at that defense, it get to the quarterback. Why not? They look like Super Bowl. So I think, yes, I think they're the best team in league now, but it's four games, sixteen games. I don't wanna go crazy about this, but you look at the way they're set up and I guess that have personal interest in this because their coach Sean McVeigh a child. I believe he's thirty two years old. He was the offensive coordinator for the Redskins for a while. A lot of people in town. Thought he should be the head coach. But at that time he was in his twenty and you look at what he's done with Jared Goff who Jeff Fisher had absolutely no use for. And there's a part of me that wonders given the connection that is his grandfather. John McKay was the general manager with forty-nine is of Bill Walsh..

So I go to vent last night that you were also supposed to go to cancel dog good trade trading got us in tells me that the reason you cancel because you had a surprise birthday. Birthday dinner, right? And that's what I found out. It was your birthday. Like I say nothing too because I didn't want to sell you out. What I thought was the y. that you told her none of us knew it was your birthday. Yeah, you thought I was lying instead. I was absolutely telling the truth and by the way everybody you're not alone. No one here guys look me up September twenty seven nine hundred eighty five or feature reference Wikipedia me or just tell us in order to find me on the internet. First name. Jared Goff. The Rams quarterback had a perfect passer rating last night during for four hundred sixty five yards and five touchdowns against the Vikings defense thought might be the best in the league. Coming into the season is Jared Goff the best quarterback in football at this point, hell no talking about is this what we're doing now he is definitely putting up amazing stat and he has an office coordinator who happens to be their head coach who is a nana's McVeigh semantically what they're doing is very, very impressive. He is not the best quarterback in the NFL though. The question is, doesn't even matter if he's the best quarterback in the NFL if they're gonna play like that, I would say that he's the most valuable quarterback in the NFL and it goes beyond the onfield stuff which we saw last night is at this point. Incredible. It is the fact that he is a general is best friend. He is the mythical rookie quarterback wage scale guy around which they can add all. Of these people Marcus Peters to leave, sue, Aaron, Donald Brandin, cooks. He enables all of that. And now after last night I am inclined to think he's also a coach's best friend because the touch on those passes bowl, like they were surgical in ways that surprised me. I feel like also what we have here is the Carson national television which causes us to go to levels of overreaction. There's only one game that we all get to watch and people acknowledge, you know, maybe I haven't watched them that much. And then you see a guy played bananas in, you're like, oh my God. Is he the best quarterback in the league? You're right. He is the young quarterback on the cheap contract. But what I think is interesting about what the Rams have done and what it'll be extra interesting when it's time to give him his money, you could probably get somebody else who could do the same things as him because you're, I can't shake off what we saw his rookie year. Part of that was Jeff Fisher. A lot of that was killed, right? Like the guy that he was two years ago does not become the best quarterback in the NFL. But Bill bar while wrote an interesting column, what happens if teams decide? We're just gonna keep one right. Keep the salary cap flexibility because they might wind up in this position where you had a pretty good quarterback and then you had to pay them and then everything else change. Right. Because I would say that, yeah, Aaron Rodgers is still a bitter quarterbacks in this guy. I would say though that in terms of excitement in terms of the offense that I most want to watch the one that they're running him at the center of it is right up there with the Pat Mahomes chiefs offense, which I think is also transient. It's a good second most exciting offense in the league..

"There are global states known as Jesus euro through three which are respectively working sleeping soft off and mechanical off. There's s two, which is the same as s one, but that is power on suspended. But the CPU is also powered off. There's s. three which is the well-known sleep where all devices are powered. So you know those, you know, sometimes you see those in the bios, you know, and and essentially what ACPI does is it provides per device power management. So in order on a on a system, that's got all kinds of stuff all over it. It's possible to to power down selectively, different pieces of the entire system in order to get overall power, you know, improved power management, all the turns out, there's a glitch in the way the p. "Phones are constantly tracking the location of a user in space devices like cars smart watches and drones are also picking up high volumes of location data this location data is also called geospatial data the amount of geospatial data is rapidly increasing and there's a growing demand for software to perform operations over that data geospatial data sets are often massive so it's non trivial to perform operations over this data jewish spatial data can consist of something as simple as a set of latitude longitude data points and a single lat long coordinate pair can be enriched with information about what zip code that data points in or how far that data point is from the other data points in the set or where the nearest coffee shop is in relation to that data point ram sri harsha created magellan a geospatial analytics library for spark in today's show ram describes the set of problems within the domain of geospatial analytical engineering ram also works as a product manager for patchy spark at data bricks what i loved about this episode is that i had a perception of geospatial data is being difficult to work with or some domain specific field like you had to be an expert in cartography or geography to understand how to use this kind of data but we talk through some fairly straightforward applications and if you're interested in building some kind of big data application geospatial data seems like a ripe field to just take a data set and start hacking around with and looking for opportunities whether it's a business opportunity of project opportunity so from that point of view i think you may find some value out of this episode if you're looking for older episodes about spark and lots of other big data.
