"Radio I'm Raleigh James we've got two hours to spend together tonight if it's on your mind it will be on mine and a few weeks ago we were talking about the to Seattle DB Cooper and Dan Cooper he he's winds up the mystery getting two he's hundred thousand the guy dollars who and hijacked all this an and airplane they're it was taking going off from for Portland Mexico to City City and he does the unthinkable he parachutes out of the plane over the Pacific Northwest he's never been seen again as we and talked about some there's of the been money over very little 50 of the years money has shown coming up but but up not on him 52 and so years there's been this November as we as that on people Dan Cooper have wondered or well DB turns Cooper the out the flight FBI that closed the ticket by the the way case said Dan in Cooper 2016 which they name of a comic character in in France but a journalist got it wrong and wasn't called him Dan DB Cooper Cooper or and DB that Cooper the name stuck but ever whoever since is then but regardless not whatever you want a to call clue him he well undoubtedly there is made an his jump and individual who has Eric been fascinated Ellis ever since Eric was and five years old so he's when suing when the FBI Dan I kid you not the guy's now in his 50s and he says he spent countless hours scouring thousands of FBI documents does have that for James any Bond esque details element that to the agents it and might of have course missed the and fact that you he's know never I been found will admit it does and as as Eric points out you know this is not a Bigfoot legend this is somebody who was real no the crew one had was some physically stress harmed and all that in but every everybody this was event fine so except maybe to speak DB and who knows so look this next to guy his bed Eric so has just determined in case inspiration that he's gonna find strikes out him what while what he's asleep happened he can in write fact he keeps a meantime he's pursuing a lead and this is why he's suing the FBI that and is he believes apparently that this could left possibly help behind him on figure the plane out who Cooper was was Cooper's exactly clip -on how necktie I don't know but nonetheless he if they close wants the the case neck in necktie 2016 he's heaven suing the FBI only what knows but do you want to but bet the FBI it doesn't does have the to necktie anymore this day if cause people to wonder you know who he was did he survive and and all that that kind who of stuff like we was say Dan he Cooper obviously but wasn't the named after a French name Canadian lives comic book hero so on in infamy to say the least but but who who is he I don't know it's funny that we talked about it just just who's weeks a ago serious enough bringing to up this to case again file and suit now apparently here Netflix we did a documentary have DB someone Cooper where their wall are -to -wall you Nazi that presentation was to just bring you last the hunt year for evidence and about the History Cooper Channel and of course the interrupts undoing of DB their Cooper well we don't know if you've been undone or not we have absolutely no idea the problem is now going because theoretically on he could 52 be years very old later and alive he but undoubtedly more is dead than likely I he's shouldn't he's say that not and I guess it's you so nice to I have a know hobby this guy or says mission they need as to find the it parachute as now the it parachute were has and to be somewhere this the Eric he had a career before he decided that his life mission was finding out the truth about Dan Cooper more he it's was a professional a skill he blackjack said helps him player focus on and facts and avoid I conspiracy guess did theories alright what with is he it kidding because me he this doesn't is work a conspiracy and theory nonetheless your focus but in a he world strictly on said math blackjack you try played to move a emotion big part of as how much I as think possible but it's clearly it's emotional to have this type of an eccentric hobby to say the say the least and he his saves phrase that says for like he tries -minded to people spare his friends you'll not bombard love this them with at minutia CooperCon and events he I gotta find those and he says Cooper cigarette butts were initially recovered but necktie later we know came disappeared yeah from JCPenney recovered from exactly where and how where they we disappear know that from I'm not and sure but apparently so apparently we we the clip are -on so he of course left the it ransom behind money on are key pieces the of flight the physical but evidence and the the the FBI tie and tested of the tie for traces of DNA but he says Eric says now that the tie knot has has if a whoever metal spindle Dan Cooper that was may still is have undiscovered DNA still alive it's the likelihood hard to that say his well DNA is in again a database if is probably probably nil but yeah anyway by he's headquarters what he's do you suing want to bet for they're gonna tell him not the for there the as tie which he FBI believes has is not stored responded in FBI so far to his lawsuit or to CNN who requested comments and all that and process however it however and a former I said FBI but whatever agent it is probably said long he didn't long believe the compromised FBI took so the spindle apart there on the you tie to are there you have it and yeah CooperCon yeah it might be a travel destination for you I'll try and find out all I'm right so hoping eight eight that partner 24 the years old police I believe officer's and partner yelled gun no I'm yeah yeah started shooting and he shot him in the charged car him with murder yes the yes DA charged on him body with murder camera but and um the judge threw and it out and said there um wasn't sufficient they evidence I remember for this premeditated uh Mark murder Mark Dial well was the police officer yeah Mark Dial I remember yeah and uh and so the judge threw it out and said there wasn't evidence for premeditated murder because he just he reacted here's to a deal what his it's partner one thing yelled to say gun he and and and that may just be started very valid shooting by the way well but and but what does I'm that saying mean is there for are many no charges people that's at all uh you you know "Know the world. And radio, I'm Raleigh James and that's the whispers no it isn't. It's tiara. I'm sorry 1979 the air are going to find her and that too is in Steve propes wonderful those old school records book and it really is really is a terrific book all the way around and I would absolutely suggest that you get a copy. Like I said, you used to link them to Amazon for your convenience, but they told me to stop that. That's right. They told me to stop that because they said, your links are not for the public, they're for your friends and family. I think I mentioned that before. They kicked me out of associates saying that saying that I was not to actually properly doing this to the general public and I thought, that's interesting because I never say a word about those links. They're just up there on the page. And listeners from time to time would use them, and well, you know, I guess that's proof you're a family. So there you have it. 888-876-5593 is 88, 88 Raleigh. And several things we'll talk about to say the least. But all week long, James from the south side has been sending story after story and usually he calls in in the last hour of the show and the show ends and we don't get to him. So James, sorry about that and welcome back to WGN radio. Are you there? I did. I did like the interview in the first hour. That was good. Yeah, oh yes, Steve is great. He really is. And all of the books are wonderful. Yeah, I mean, okay. I think they once said our K, at least they were saying about with New York, they said that 8 million stores in the naked sea, it looks like it's close to that with that book. Well, it's funny you say that because there's a great record on Dory by the superbs in that's exactly how it starts out. So I got to find that for you because that's precisely what she says at the opening. So let's see if I can if I can find, let's see. Yeah, here we go. I think she does on storybook of love. Let's see if this is where she does her little soliloquy. We'll find out together. You know, it's not. So now what so if it's not that, oh baby, baby all the time. I don't think so, but no, I have to find it. That's a terrible, but yeah, 8 million stories in this one's mine. All right, superb. I've got to hear somewhere. Sorry about that. Let's see. Oh gosh. All right, so as usual, dumb criminals and a number of stories that are unbelievable, like I was saying the other night, it's my favorite story of the month, maybe of the year, that The Guardian arrives to pick up the team's arrested for auto theft in a stolen car. And I don't think you can make them up I mean, it just doesn't get better than that. Then I talk about the about the policeman who was drunk in a squad car driving to a journey, a journey, town, and they realize he's, yeah, he's a legitimate, and then they have to say, stop talking. Yeah. I think it was baby, baby all the time. All right, let's go back to the superb moment here. Let's see if this will infect, I get it. There are 8 million stories in the big city. This is mine

"The WGN radio. I'm Raleigh James and that was one of Scottie's faves and that's what all our bumpers are tonight requests by Scottie. And find choices and that's pretty obvious one a new thing. So if you know who it is 888-876-5593 would be 88 88 rally. And of course, if it's Friday night, just sit back and enjoy the show and do not call. However, but it's Monday night now, technically Tuesday morning. We're open for business right here. 88, 88 ROL YE on WGN radio. So this hour, if you don't get it by the end of the hour, I reveal the answer to the straggler, the odds are that a company's stock will go up 70% if they do this, do what. And you hear the bumper stumpers. And yeah, that last one, 1959 on checker, by the way. And you can have your own category, whatever you like. And we defer to first time callers because they're usually not quite as patient, and I don't blame them. But Kathleen is the first time caller in palos hills, Kathleen, welcome to WGN radio. Oh, thank you, Raleigh. I've enjoyed listening to many evenings, and I thought it has to be getting a government contract or a military contract. What a delightful guess. It's not right, but it makes all the sense in the world, and it got you to call, which is the best part of all. I hope you're going to do it again. Thanks. Okay, that night. I appreciate it. All right, so yeah, that does make all sorts of sense. No. My answer is never makes sense. That that's usually the only way I can give you Bernard and Melrose park. Welcome to WGN radio. Bernard. Oh, no, and Bernard had a bumper guest, too. We lost Bernard. Oh, this is just terrible. I don't know what bumper heard that he thought he knew. But Marianne and Chicago heard one she knew, so what'd you hear, Marianne? Hey, Ali, how are you tonight? All right, how about yourself? Okay, pretty good. I wanted to try to guess on this very last bumper stumper. Oh, yeah. Dream of a lifetime by the flamingos? Absolutely. 1959 on checker. My favorite bird in the whole wide world. All right, good deal. Well, Scotty's too. Or if I see one fly over my house tomorrow, I don't know if that is thinking of us. Yes, you will. All right, thanks, Marianne. I appreciate it. Okay, talk to you later bye. So we had to Mary Anne's dish. And it's just keep on coming. All right, so what does Diane and Chicago have to say for herself? Welcome back to WGN. I was thinking that if a company, one of the things that seems to remind you would make their stock co op with the team, it's about if they had to apologize, for example, publicly for some mistake they made an that's not it, but that's interesting. I'm not sure what that would do. I guess it would depend on the mistake. But thanks for calling Diana. I appreciate it. You're welcome. All right, so yeah. We'll never do this again. Yeah, radio stations used to do that all the time, never explaining what it is that they never would do again, hoping to get some talk, you know, like the morning man will never say that again without telling you what that was. So bob is the first time caller and Warren, Michigan. Welcome to WGN radio. Thank you, rally. You know, when the wind blows the right way, I pick you up at night sometimes. Excellent. And I was just thinking of what kind of something by the flamingos I would really love it. And there it is. And there it is. A lifetime by the flamingo. Yes. Absolutely. I'm going to give that to you too, Marianne knew it, but you didn't know she called. And so you win too? Well, that's wonderful. And I think the one before you had steamboat was that by the drifters. Yes, the flip side of adorable. Adorable, yeah. It was a yellow 1955 still yellow. And how we look to collect those yellow atlantics thinking there was some kind of symbolism and it turned out that it was just cheaper ink and when they ran out of it, they used red. Yeah, broke my heart. I know, I expect a big story, yeah. Yes. All right, well, you're a winner to hang on. We'll get that address don't go. Thank you. All right, thank you. I will. Thank you. All right, so and of course, don't stand by the post box waiting for the mail. It takes forever, and it's not worth the postage, but you get something eventually. All right, so we put bob on hold and John will get his address. And meanwhile, Donna is in schomburg. Welcome back to WGN radio. Thank you. How you doing? Well, I can't complain. How about yourself? I can't complain either. I'll take it. Thank you. Okay, I'd like to try the trivia question. Okay, I would think in changing the word name of the company. That's interesting. It's not right, but that's a very good guess. Okay, I have a cup mother. Uh huh. Could it be that they found out a man named Opus Thursday of find out what they could do to improve the product? Nope. How about maybe of I know roaring? And key to get people to come in. And see if they want a car. Right, nice guests, not right. Okay. What about a mask? Radio, television, print. And maybe have a night or an MV car or a nail. That's a really good guess. It's not right, but you're probably the closest yet. Okay. That's about all else. Well, if you think about something else, call me back because you are definitely in the ball field, so to speak. Okay. All right. Thanks. Appreciate it. So 888-876-5593 88 88 Raleigh. I think we'll get a winner. I feel it in my bones right here on WGN radio

"On the streets I'm Raleigh James the gap band 1982 total experience records was distributed by polygram. You dropped a bomb on me and Johnny meeting on and to hear it so indeed we did 888-876-5593. Lisa is in Dundee. So Lisa, what's up tonight? I just wanted to add my condolences about Scottie and I just wondered if you remember the first time he called you No. And if how long has he been calling? Well, I think I've known him since I've been calling, but that's only like maybe two years. Right. And since I probably since I was doing the ten to one night show on GM, he's kind of been a fixture there. So I think that's 2020. It's a long time ago. So not as long as I guess I thought it was. No, he did not. I never heard from him before. WGN was running my show. Oh, wow. I guess it seemed like you guys were so close. No. And never had heard from him. At first I did some fill ins on Sunday nights and it was strange because I had a lot of neat people call and you know, they've never called again, I've done it all the time, but I don't know, it must have said something that took them off or whatever but Scotty was not among them. So Scottie, I picked up, I think, shortly after I started doing the ten to one Monday through Thursday stuff. Also, probably about the same time. And that I've been calling. Yeah, I think it was like Labor Day and would that be 2020, I think. You know, it's terrible. Time moves so fast. I don't even remember anymore. Well, and I just figured, you know, I thought maybe you might remember the first time you called because he was so memorable if that's even a word. Well, memorable is memorable. There you go. And he always asked for songs that I always thought were done the first time by whoever made it a hit. And then he would request the song by somebody that recorded it years before. Right. And that always surprised me. And the one song that comes to mind is Anna. Oh, Arthur Alexander. Arthur Alexander. Yeah. Because I just thought for sure that was just a Beatles. Well, believe me, it was Arthur Alexander's lucky day when Anna was well, I know when I first heard it by Arthur Alexander, I loved it even more than The Beatles version. So I just wondered maybe if you could play that sometime just. Absolutely. I would be happy to, yeah, it was on dot originally Anna go to him was the original title, but it just says Anna on dot. And that was 1962. So I remember it well. And then The Beatles probably didn't do a dental. Oh, 64, right. Absolutely. Or at least. And that was just, like I said, he wrote it. And so that was just a windfall for him. Yeah. Well, poor guy. I mean, I think you're right. I think he's listening. I think he's trying to connell. You have to get some kind of talked about he didn't get a radio for that. I don't know, probably have to have Julie Ryan on again to do that. In fact, I'm going to make it a point to do that because Julie does talk to people who are no longer here. And of course Marianne does too, but they're EarthBound and we don't want Scotty to be EarthBound. So wouldn't that be fun if she could. I'll bet you, I'll bet you, Julie could. So I need to be back in touch with her. As you know, if he could at all get in touch. Yeah. He would have, you know, no matter if he was in the hospital or not he always oh, I know. But I feel so bad because, like I say, he died on the 9th of February and from the second to the 9th, I wasn't on the air because of John strokes. You know, I thought about that and I thought, well, if he thinks something happened to you, maybe that's why he didn't call in. But I don't think so because you were off before for other reasons. Absolutely, and he always called back. And he would leave phone messages, too, during the day. And I didn't get any from him in quite a while. So I was very worried because as you know, he wasn't doing too well and then they changed his insurance plan and that really worried me and all I can say is he's in a much better place now, but we're a big loss here. Yes, yes. Well, I just wanted to mention that. And all right, I'll get you Anna in all our hearts forever. All right. Well, thanks, Lisa. I appreciate it. Thank you. All right, good deal. Take care. So 888-876-5593 is 88 88. We got John and Covington. We got Stacey Al gunk when all the prayers for missing stuff, yeah. Yeah, well, we got to go to saint Anthony and we will. And Don is in Beloit. "And I double she and radio. I'm Raleigh James. Who are they? Yeah, that's your bumper stumper and it's part of our theme if you figure that out. Ready? 1971 on colossus. It would have been a hit if it weren't for Jerry Ross, but that's a long story 888-876-5593 88 88 Raleigh and our question. These two words, which first appeared together in a dictionary in 1912. Appear in countless commercials. As the item enticing customers today, what to words. So it is an item that is an enticement. All right. So 8 8 8 8 7 6. And when I say it is an item, I should probably say it's a thing. I'm not claiming that it is in fact tangible. Though, aspects of it are, it's going to get worse if I try to define this further, just go with that. Diane in Chicago, welcome to WGN radio. Hi, rally. You said something about it being connected with an event when she said well no, I think my nails are well, what I'm saying as opposed necessarily to something tangible. So not an event like Mother's Day. Okay, so what do you think? Okay, well, I had a few before, I was thinking first of all. And I was thinking of lady maid. Nope. And I thought, nope. And maybe not. All those things could refer to a number of things. This can only refer to one thing. One thing. One thing and one thing alone, there's no mistake in what this is. Keep thinking and call me back. All right. Okay, thanks, Diane. Appreciate it. All right, so 888-876-5593 is 88 88 Raleigh. We are going to find out what's going on in the world at large, then we'll talk to Donna and oklahoman and Jeffrey spring grove, James on the south side, Stephen Newark and Michelle and Geneva. "She is radio. I'm Raleigh James. Who is that? That's our first bumper stumper for the hour and that's a great song no matter who does it from the original Billy really Stuart GQ to well this guy. All right, so who is he? And that was out loud. Yeah. Seems like just yesterday, but it was out. Oh, I'd say in the late 60s on February 11th records. Yeah, and I don't have a date actually because I don't have a discography list for February 11th records, but there aren't too many acts you can name on that label. So who is 888-876-5593 is 88 88. Raleigh and John is in marquee and all right, John, what's happening tonight? You put on before the break. Yeah. That was long ago. Absolutely right. All right, it sure wash your sounds like it, doesn't it? Okay. And August trivia. Yeah. Say what? What people do most. I think they take more showers and more bad. Well, that's interesting. That's not right, but that's interesting, but you're certainly one for the moonglow so hang on, John and we'll get your address. Don't go away. All right, don't sit by the mailbox because it takes us forever to mail anything and even more so now. But you'll get some eventually. And it probably won't be worth the poster to send it to you, but you will get it. All right, so 888-876-5593 88 88 Raleigh, and yes, our trivia question. August, Americans are more likely to do this in August than any other month, but they do it all the time. They do. And yeah, I was trying to think if I had any clues for you. I don't know vacations might be part of the reason, but I don't know. I don't want to lead you down that path in case it has nothing to do with it whatsoever. But it's a common event, nothing really record worthy, if you will, other than they do it in August. All right, so we got mark in aurora. Welcome back to WGN radio, what's happening tonight, Mark? Good evening. How are you? Well, I'm just sitting here relaxing and one of my new pieces of furniture. What did you get? I had another birthday, oh no, this is something that my mobility and orientation and structure went out and searched for. It's a glider chair. Oh. Okay. And I had another birthday gathering last Saturday. That was three ladies. None of whom had ever met each other. And some good conversation went down. Good. And they brought me presents. Even better. Well, this is the big 65. So a monthlong celebration is appropriate. Okay. So we're going to do charts for this week in 1973. Yes. All right. Yeah, boy. Yeah, I tell you what. Well, you'll see. You're not getting nauseated, are you? A little. So reaching for that Coca-Cola though. All right, so Mexican, of course. All right, are you ready, number one? Tie a yellow ribbon round the old oak tree. Tony Orlando and dawn. Yes. Number two, the night, the lights went out in Georgia. Vicky Lawrence. Yes, number three, sing. The carpenters. Number four, Cisco kid. Oh, I was a friend of mine. Oh, come on, I know that. Yes, you do. Yeah. War. Yes, absolutely war. All right, number 5, ain't no woman like the one I got. The temps. Four tops. Four tops. I always get those two mixed up. Number 6. Chokes me up. Number 6, neither one of us wants to be the first to say goodbye. Oh, Gladys night in the pit. Yep. Number 7, oh God. Little Willie. Sweet. Yeah. God, I remember when that was out. One of them, you know, because I was a woman, even though even though I was production director, I had to do the phones during lunch hour once a week on a top 40 station. And I can't tell you how many 9 year olds will you play a little Willy? Yeah, shut it down. All right. Number 8, masterpiece. Oh, the temptation. Number 9, Danny's song. Oh, Ann Murray. And number ten, the 12th of never. Yes, he ruined another book. Oh, good old Donny Osmond. Absolutely right. Well, 9 out of ten still makes you a winner. Good deal. All right. At the one with the mix up. Yeah, well, yeah, at least you got the right labels sort of. Well, the right family was anyway. All right, well hang on, we'll confirm that address. Don't go away and Mark is a winner. All right, so we'll get to Debbie and downer scroll. And she's gonna give us on our trivia question, which I hope you will, too. I've got another one queued up when you dispense with this one. If you don't dispense with this one, well, then we'll reveal it at the end of the night because we don't let anything straggler for more than one extra week. So we started it last week. You didn't get it. It's straggling this week, and maybe you will get it. Americans are more likely to do this in August than any other month, but they do it all the time. 888-876-5593 88 88 Raleigh, a very easy bumper coming up next right here on WGN radio. "I'm Raleigh James. Well, there's a bumper stumper for you. Yes. Tangentially something having to do with all the wonderful show prepping Carol does for me. So the artist hit the news. Yeah, so who is he? That was a very private favorite, actually. Woman saw it. All right, so 888-876-5593 We're talking a friend in Austin and ran wanted lyrics from 1966 and I obliged. So you ready? Okay. All right, well, here we go. And at first I actually, I'll tell you because I'm not going to use it. I picked kicks, but you know, that damn song I'm not sure I remember it, but I certainly when I looked at those lyrics, I said, nobody in the right mind wouldn't know that. So let's I possibly would have. They're just horrible. I mean, I know I've heard the song enough, but I looked at these lyrics and thought I've never heard this before in my life. So they're horrible. Yeah, truly, truly horrible. So this will be easy. Okay. Without spring the birdies just couldn't sing. See you so fun. Yeah, you do it. Love makes the world go round? Absolutely. Yeah. It's like a thing half of the song before I write, right? Deion Jackson. Yeah, but let's face it, where else would you hear the birdies just couldn't sing? That's true. Gary's clapping in there for me. You betcha, absolutely. Yeah. Oh, I just wanted to tell you one little thing, Gary, we don't know what this means, but he's got a high white cell count. Well, usually it means there's infection. Yeah, I guess he had that last year and it wasn't a bad moment to cropped up again. So. But you know wondering, does that have anything to do with his hands? But I don't know, you don't here's the thing. I say it has to do with infection, but also inflammation markers that can be so elusive. That could cause that. And yes, that absolutely could affect his hands. But normally, when you see white count, so are you saying, oh, fighting an infection? What is it? But it may not be that. Yeah, he says he feels fine. Other than the hand thing, you know, and that, but anyway, I just thought I'd ask you if you knew anything about what that might mean. But it also, the other things it can be, and I've seen this actually quite a bit because I'm just not a fan of pharmaceuticals for the most part. And when you read the side effects, nobody in the right mind would be. But it can be reaction to certain meds. And then, of course, if you want to go down the dreaded fear route and say, what's the worst that could possibly be? That's where you start to get into bone marrow. But no, I'm not going there, although I was kind of scared because he got on a call from an oncologist. And I think he oncologist, oh no. Yeah, right, right. Well, you know, normally it's just garden variety infection, but with Gary's hands, I would go more under inflammation. You know, but here I am practicing medicine without a license and don't take the advice of you don't play a doctor on TV or on the radio. That's absolutely right. Don't take the advice of a talk show host. But I would, if I had to bet, I would say, ah, we got some inflammation going on. That sounds logical to me. Yeah. Yeah. Well, as long as it feels good. Now, how are the hands doing? And hands aren't doing much better. He thought they were doing a little better for a while. But they had a little bit of improvement and no further improvement. But he's taking vitamin B which one, because as you know, vitamin B is a number of different vitamins. Oh, it's a complex. I don't know which ones I should get him, so I just got him something that's got everything in it. Okay. All right. Yeah. I'm not looked it up, but usually you'd find, if you're doing B's, you're doing one of the bees for a specific reason. I'll try to see if I could see anything about that. Yeah, they said it was D deficient. So let me tell you, as far as I'm concerned, most humans are de deficient, even when they're showing up in the normal range because I think those normal ranges on most of the CBC's and blood counts you'll see are just a little too forgiving. We all could do with a lot of D of course, sunshine is great, but who is out in it. Now if you're going to do D for supplemental purposes, make sure you do K two because you won't metabolize the D without it. K two. Absolutely. You want to do that. Okay. We get that. The D also, there's different forms. And a virtually everything. And when you start to deal with supplements, you're going to find out that the body will use some forms better than others. And I don't believe that it is set in stone as to which will be best for any given person, but you're kind of experiment for D, there are some real good plant based things too that tend to metabolize well. Okay, so confusing. I was looking at, okay, there's this, and there's B down. What should I get in? Well, yeah. Vitamin B is such a misnomer because there's so many different things. You know, okay. So we'll just keep on plugging. Right, right. Chris, the reality is it's not vitamin B, it's the B

"Between the two now WGN radio. I'm Raleigh James and absolutely that is the pointer sister fairytale on blue thumb 19 74 and it got by the way the number 37 on the country charts did even better pop got to their team on the pop charts and it was interesting when the pointer sisters did that, there were a lot of comments made. Yeah, that they were suddenly doing country and somehow that it was it was more of a lark or to make fun of country or in some ways other untoward comments. I'll tell you what Anita and her sisters absolutely reacted to that, saying that no way our family roots are in Arkansas, our history grew up on country music, a sort of, how dare you and I don't blame them. Blame them at all. And of course the pointer sisters were great. They had hits on a soul charge. They had hits on the pop charts and on the country charts as well, including, like I say, fairytale. But there's a story behind fairytale that's interesting. And it goes to the heart of Anita pointer who now no longer with us, who wrote that. And it was a breakup song from personal experience. Yeah. The pointer sisters were from Oakland. And in the San Francisco Bay Area. And they wrote and recorded some radio spots. And they borrowed equipment from KSA in San Francisco. And as it turned out, Anita became romantically involved with one of the jocks on staff at KSA, who neglected to mention that he was married. And he lied to her. So when she found out that this was how it was, she wrote the song, and she said, fairytale took shape from that. And she actually wrote it while they were on tour opening for Dave mason. They were at a motel in Woodstock, New York, and Anita was listening to a James Taylor cassette, and she loved him. And she said, I wrote fairytale that night, and at the conclusion of the tour, she gave the song to Bonnie, her sister, for polishing, into which became fairytale. It was recorded in national aquaponic, and to say the least it was a stylistic departure, not the only one, in fact, they did, I think, at least 5 other sides at quadrafonic. And one of them they released, but it didn't chart. And it probably should have. I kind of always liked it

"We W G in Raleigh James and yeah that's Barbara Brown on carnival and that smitty singing with her of the manhattans and it was sunny bivens who wrote it. So yeah, that's sort of Manhattan's all the way with Barbara fronting it and appropriately so. We'll get back to the Manhattan story and moments or maybe we'll be continuing it right now as Lee from Baltimore joins us solely. Welcome to WGN radio. Are you there, Lee? Oh no, we lost Lee. Ali. Please call me back. I don't know. I don't know what happened to Lee, but he's dropped off the radar. I think that happened on trivia the other night too. So call us back Lee because I'd love to talk to you. He's from Baltimore and wants to talk manhattans and hey, happy to do that. Yeah, so I want to be was really the breakout record and the game changer. I'm so many ways. For one thing, singing had really been part time for the members of the group. They had to make livings in other ways because until I want to be, nothing was really bringing in any money. And in fact, blue worked for muscular dystrophy. Yeah, yeah. You know, the telethon and he in fact, he was writing. I want to be Wiley was at work at the muscular dystrophy telethon place. But it was Kenny, who was actually the only one of the group who was a college graduate. He had gone back to school. He got a degree in biology, and Wally Kelly, Kenny, Kenny walley, Kelly. And he really had a decision because, of course, in his case, he was, he had a serious job. And working in the hospitals and the labs, and like I say, biology degree and all that kind of stuff. And it was a serious choice. And all the guys made it. They quit their day jobs immediately because they couldn't maintain them. And do the group activities. And after I want to be every last one of them, one of them did. And so then the so in love came out the Barbara Brown record and the persuasions did some neat stuff too. In fact, they covered some of the some of the Manhattan stuff. Searching for my baby was the fourth single. And I thought it was, I thought it was a great record. It only got to number 20, well, not bad, really, when you think about it on the R&B charts, but yeah, I thought it sounded pretty darn good. And I'll let you be the judge of that as well. I hope you'll call back. I was looking forward to that. All right, so in the, in the meantime, Sonny wrote follow your heart and we played that a few times. But if you missed it

"WG and radio. I'm Raleigh James. 888-876-5593 and I mentioned before I'd say something about mercury retrograde. So yeah, we are in that by the way in Capricorn. December 29th of January 18th and as far as I'm concerned though, there is a shadow that is almost as important because when mercury turns retrograde, it goes back to a certain point in the zodiac and what I always look at is where did it first reach that point before it turned, it went even direct. So let's say, in this case, that December 29th, it went retrograde well. The reality is December 12th was how far back it's going to go by January 18th. And then it will again be in the shadow until February 23rd. So really, we're looking at December 12th through February 23rd for some effects, but the full effect is December 29th through January 18th. And what does it mean? Well, not much. But mercury rules, it rules communication. So this is the time that you don't sign an agreement or anything like that because there's going to be misunderstandings. Now, it's a great time to revise agreements that have already been signed. You know, go back to things that are done, but as far as initiating a new contract or whatever, don't even think about it. It affects travel. This is not a time where the planes are falling out of the sky or anything like this, but the airline may be more likely to lose your luggage. We'll just ask southwest. So anyway, December 29th of January 18 for the firm dates and then the shadows on either side. So 888-876-5593 88 88 Raleigh and sherry is a Naperville Gerry almost played your fantasy request, but I will next week. Oh, that's great. Thank you. I just wanted to let you know that we got a pizza sized box today. And I was amazed because I thought it was like three times I figured it'd be in a Manila envelope. But at any rate, you know, earlier you were speaking about Rolling Stone's magazines top singers, right? It wasn't just for rock and roll. It was tough. Yeah, right. Of course, but again, it's just their opinion. It's not based on anything. Well, not just their opinion. Whatever age these, well, that too, and whatever they're taste is, of course. Because, you know, I told you I know I mentioned before in the past year and a half two years. I found the WGC and they do the old time radio and they'll play like the hit parade, whatever. But to me, there's four people and even before I listen to them, I knew being caused to be the crooner. I don't think he's in there. And then Kate Smith and not the one from, you know, Charlie's Angels. And Johnny Mercer and he did something for just me. And then also, oh, Dennis Day. Yeah. And he had a wonderful voice. Well, again, the list is totally subjective. What I find interesting is that anybody puts any credence in it. I will give the publication credit because everybody's talking about it, but to me it has no meaning whatsoever. Yeah, it may even mean that we did stuff with. I can't think of this name off the top of my head. Bennett, Tony Bennett, they were surprised he wasn't on the list. Well, as I say, it's just somebody's opinion and somebody's opinion that I probably would disagree with on people aren't learning anything anymore. Well, whatever. Yeah. They're entitled to it. Cell phones. But let me ask you this cell phones and they're stupefying. Well, why does anybody care? I wanted to mention the Leah if she was listening, you know, I told her I could take back to the hospital for whatever hospital. Anyway, you know, before he went because I said to him, well, I told David, I said, oh, I hope he doesn't come back as captain hook because I think he waited too long for his hand for the carpal tunnel. I'll bet he didn't. No, he didn't. And he can kind of wiggle his fingers now. But I didn't understand what carpal tunnel was. But nonetheless, what I point I want to make to Leia is like a week ago, his hands started flaring up and it looks like what did she call that again? It looked like hives, but it was because his nerves were reacting in the nursing cells or something. So again, but it felt like it was on fire. So I don't know if that's any help to her, because I know she's always been paying because she says she kicks all in. I don't know what I'm doing. But certainly something to consider. Yeah. Certainly something considered. Always good to hear from you. Oh, I learned. Yeah. Well, we'll talk to you next week. I love you. And thank you both. Oh, my pleasure. Thank you. All right, so yeah, I thank everybody who called. Everybody who got a package got a package because they won. That means they participated and we couldn't do Monday night trivia without you. So James, welcome back to WGN radio, how's it going? Oh, I got my package. But it's funny thing. It was wrapped in 2000. Yeah. Along with the platform in two cases. Really? It was a recent game. Obviously, I looked at approximately a little bit at the end of that message onto each spec for the bank. It's about an apology from about sorry about the mid handling. Did it get wet? No, it got the side of the slide in a way. All right, your phone, by the way, your phone is killing you tonight. I want you to know, I'm only getting some of your words, but did anything fall out of it? No, thank you. Okay. And I'll tell you what we're talking about a week before my Wednesday before Christmas until Wednesday after Christmas. They would like to and then of course the military that was in a couple of words in mind when I had to go back to somebody else's all right, well I want you to work on your phone over the that's what we got to send you for your next prize, I think. And we will reach and be next week. Yeah. All right, I think. All right, well, good to talk to you, James. Start you soon. All right, so yeah, like I said, not an information superhighway. It's a dirt road, but James sends literally hundreds of links. I'm not exaggerating on that. When I say thousands, that is an exaggeration, but hundreds is not, and all of them are interesting. I was just looking at a former Apple lawyer who has filed lawsuit, complaining about company culture and a colleague who sent her death threats. Yeah. You really got to wonder, and what I mean about that is

"Sorry it took me so long to find out that you were wrong that's all right. It took a little time to get you out of my mind. WGN radio. I'm Raleigh James so who are they? Yes and what do they have in common with everybody else who've been playing? Now what I can tell you about that it was 1965 on imperial and interestingly that that period of time they had other songs like this that also originated in New Orleans, though they were far from a New Orleans group. All right, so who are they? So 888-876-5593. That's 88, 88 Raleigh, and it's probably not hard to find a one in any medium or large American city today, but a hundred years ago it was rare. The oldest one still in operation today is in Seattle, what is it? And Dave is a first time caller. We'll get back to mark in downers grove here in a moment. Don't go away. Mark, but I want to get Dave on the air in northwest Indiana. Welcome to WGN radio. Thanks for calling. Thank you so much. Love your show. Thank you. What do you think? I'll just take a stab at it. A gas station? Not a gas station. Nice guess, though, I like it. Thank you. Call me again. Appreciate it. All right, so good to meet Dave. All right, now before we get back to marking downers grove, James and Oregon wanted to weigh in on what he was talking about so all right James, what do you know? Yeah. Hey, I'm going to give a name. So doctor Peter Nicholas was talking about late 2021, early 2022. If there were studies going on restoring vision in mice and primates and that they were going to be doing it in humans and I believe it was related around stem cell therapy, but I'm not sure, but if Mark wants to try to get a hold of this doctor, he's not the one that does the work. He just reports about he's somewhat related to that WABC radio back there because that's where I hearing from time to time. And he's talking that it's going to be now 2023, which is now, but if he goes on to clinical trials dot gov, he can do a search for that kind of work going on. We've done that. We've done that before. And I'm going to ask him again here in a moment, but in the past, I don't think his doctors have been real embracing of that, which is a shame. I would hope that there was something he would qualify for. Well, I was in contact with this one doctor that does that therapy that that Doug Oliver that I mentioned a while back. I had and he sent a forms for us to have go to my ophthalmologist to have sold out now. She wouldn't fill it out. She was all up in arms about it and said it was a fraud knowledge that. But how we talk about the right to try if nothing else. So yeah, when somebody's talking about giving you a prosthetic eye, that's the time you'll try anything and you should. That's right. Yeah, now it's not cheap because it's considered experimental. So that's not covered by the insurances. And they quoted me at $22,000. But if they get your vision back, it's going to be worth it. Absolutely. And yeah. So anyways, I hate to see anybody get down if there's hope out there and I just wanted to throw that out to him because I heard him say that you already had one prosthetic eye and let's hope for the best remark. Yeah, absolutely. You betcha. Yeah. All right. So that's all I had to say. Well, thanks. I appreciate it. All right, so now with that in mind, let's go back to Mark because I know we've talked about these trials before. So I meant to follow that up. Now, Mark, you're aware of that. Your doctors are just kind of rejecting that or what's the deal? At the time I

"WGN radio. I'm Raleigh James. All right, I know there are individuals out there who are getting a busy signal right now who are just going crazy because they're saying, oh, I know that one. Indeed you do. 1960 on RV got to number 42 on the pop charts well known group, who are they? All right, so a line will be available. But right now we're talking to Stacy and she's about to narrow down our question and I believe she can do it. 50% of all American surveys said to avoid germs, they'd never touch this, so what is it? All right, Stacy. So what have you come up with? Well, what about the little cable in front? Nope, that you pull out. Nope, next. What about the little thing where you grab a magazine in front of you? Nope, next. What about the earphones? Although that should be high on the list, but nope. What about the little thing if you want to turn on the light above you or the air? Nope. What about, okay, it's not. Nothing with the seat. Well, I know you see, I still say your closest one you say the seat. You're just a thing underneath if you want to move your seat. No. No, not the anchor forward. Nope. And it's not the seat belt. Well, no, it's not. Is it something to do with adjusting your seat or the seat belt? Nope. But it's what the seat. Making it higher or lower? Nope. Oh, this is driving me crazy. You say I'm red hot. Yeah, I'm telling you, I'm there are people screaming at their radio as we speak. What about like to turn on the movie? To turn on the radio. To get a pillow for your seats. Nope. And by the way, there was a study in 2018 that showed that this was the absolute germy a surface on the plane. And the underneath your feet? Nope. Where you put like extra? No. Your purse is nothing. Okay, let's see. What about like the armrests? Nope. No one listening. How bad I know I'm gonna be man. Oh, you all. You're really gonna be great. So it's just thoroughly with pushing your seat. No, backwards. Frontwards. Up, down. Most will go that way. But no. Making your seat hot or cold. Does that have to do with. Oh, you're gonna be really upset. Oh God, I got, okay, so it's just, it's not what the windows, not with pulling down the shade. Not with any buttons. It's just all good grief. So nothing with adjusting your seat no, no, no, no, no. Nothing with the seat belts. Nope, no, no, no, no. Putting your hand on the hand rest. I'm giving up on you, Stacy. Oh, God, no. And I flow. Yes. Oh my God. Yes. And as I say, the study showed that this is the absolute germiest. Where you put your if you take off your coat or something, and you put it down on underneath you or something, the underneath can nope, nope, nope. All right, keep listening, Stacy. Someone will be getting it probably in moments. Oh, you're kidding, and I'm so close. Oh, you are. You absolutely are. Well, if nobody gets it, you call us back when you think of it, but I know you're going to grow in when you hear the answer. Nothing that the flight attendant brings you. No, no. Yeah, right. No, no, no. Your purse. Stacy. Oh, goodbye. Yeah, oh man, all right, so I was a little surprised, but now maybe Suzanne and Chicago is going to knock it off. I don't know. So what do you think Suzanne? Suzanne, Suzanne hung up. That's what she thought. All right, so Suzanne gave up. Now let's see, do we have anybody else who are we going to charge for a while? Let's see, James on the south side has guesses. I was afraid of that. All right, James, you get half a dozen be quick. Okay, the padding of the seat. No. They had rest. Bingo, we have a winner. You're absolutely can give it to Stacy if you want to. That's the right kind of you. But yes, it's the headrest and believe it or not, recent surveys showed that it is the absolute germiest part of the plane, the head rest. And there's a number of companies that make headrest covers for frequent flyers so they can have their own. Because I kept screaming heads up and I knew I knew even though I haven't flown since 1976. Yeah, it doesn't matter. But you're absolutely right. The headdress. All right, all right, James will hang on, you're the winner. Don't go away. All right, so James got it. He did the headdress. I knew that you guys would come up with it. And I know Stacy is just howling. She was so close. All right, it happened. So we're going to talk lyrics for a moment with Fran and Austin, how's it going, Fran? All right. Before I do that, Gary knows a bumper, I think. Yeah. Can I just give it to him? Absolutely. Sure. Yeah. Okay, hang on. All right. Well, hey. Hey, Gary, so why'd you hear you know? The earth went and fired the 5 after. There was no earth wind and fire. Oh, I was wrong. It's okay. Oh man. And that's so funny. I thought you were going to give me this last one. I thought, oh yeah, well, you'll know that. But yeah, it was not earth wind and fire. Well, I guess I'll think of something else. Oh good, I'm counting on it. All right. Okay. So, oh, I was so

But we're gonna keep this theme for next week. I do believe if I can pull it off again and maybe you'll figure out the theme and we'll have another crop of bumper stumpers for you too. In the meantime if you get in in the next few minutes, well you'll be a winner. So now let's see what chuck and downers grove has come up with this time so welcome back to WGN radio chuck. All right, one more try. I got two guesses here. Okay. Okay. Is it some kind of like acid or sulfuric acid? Nope. It's nothing. It's nothing that you apply. Oh, my other gift was like radium or something. God, yeah, that's radioactive. That would do it all right, no. That would be pretty bad. Yeah. Yeah, it might even be worse, but I don't think so. I think radium might be covered over this. All right. Thanks. Appreciate it. All right. All right, Raleigh. Okay. Thanks, for sure. Versus an individual choice, but, you know, someone might say no, no, I won't take the radium, but I think I would. All right, so we got Mike into cow. Welcome back to WGN radio, what do you think Mike? Mike into calle has left the building. He thought of a scalping. No, well, that would be draconian. You're absolutely right. "WGN radio. I'm Raleigh James. It's Monday night trivia. We've got a less than a half hour and I'll reveal our question if we don't get ourselves a winner, but what by the way, this is our bumper stopper. And what can I tell you about the full 1965 on Colombia? You got to 23 on the R&B charts 93 on the pop charts. And it has something in common with every other song we played. Like I say, I may keep this theme for next week, not sure yet, but I won't reveal the theme, but maybe you know who this is. Yeah, or maybe not. Then during the news break, I was actually looking up landline phones because, you know, some states the public utilities commission have not allowed the landline providers to give up that service in the true sense. However, you're seeing more and more cases where you think you've got a landline phone, but you don't, it's going into a VOIP system or in some cases like community phone. It's actually going to sell towers, and you're getting an ATA at home to plug into. And that's not a landline, even though they'd like to tell you there's a landline. It's not. But the question is what type of information and operator services are available and increasingly very few, for instance, CenturyLink, oh, they'll be happy to provide directory assistance between two and $8 a call depending on where you are. So it's interesting. I haven't done any research on this in a while. I haven't had a business sense to need to know, but in the past I know that the PUC is across the country where really sticking it to landline companies saying you're not going to drop this, but maybe that is changing. All right, now Karen in Chicago says she's still got four one one All right, Karen. So who's your provider? Hi. And I have four one one. It costs dollar 95 a call. But you know what? I am a landline now. If Scotty needs to reach four one one, I'd be happy to have him call me and we can do a three way and he can win one that way. He can go ahead and search it on a web browser. It won't be a problem. But when you say you've got Comcast, you don't have a landline. You've got VOIP. But it works. But it's voice-over Internet protocol. You've got a little ATA that you plug your phone into, right? What? A little device that you plug your phone. Nothing. No. Well, it's magic then. What is your phone plug into? In the wall, and then all currencies, the modem from the Internet. Now bingo bingo bingo right, right, right now. But I don't know. I'm not real smart. An ATA is an analog telephone adapter. And you've got one somewhere in the mix, even if it's in your modem. But the bottom line is that yes, you're on your own voice-over Internet protocol. Okay, not like landlines, but they don't necessarily want to tell you that. I just wanted to offer and then if you needed to do that. No, no. But at this point, since he's got a cell phone, I want to get him on that browser so we can do it for himself all the time. Sure. All right. I just did it the other day for a boyfriend who had to get four one one. Well, and when you are blind, as you know, you can probably apply to get that for free, because most states require them to provide that for free. Really? Oh, yes. And so you might want to well, it's not a question of what company it could be all of them. You want to check with the public utilities commission because usually for blind people and for other people who are adaptively impaired who otherwise can not do the online searches and stuff, they will force you to get free service. So check that out. I can go on, you know, when I found I can ask lots of phone number. Well, of course, well, that's searching the Internet, doesn't matter, you know. And sure, that's fine. But I wouldn't be surprised if the Illinois PUC has rulings that the vision impaired have to get the directory assistance for free. Check it out. Oh, well, I could call like, yes, you could. Stadium information. Yeah, public utilities commission so it is. And in Illinois, I think it's called the Illinois commerce commission, the ICC. The Illinois commerce commission and I think and but I will find out for sure, but I'm pretty sure that any public utility falls under ICC. Utility board have that? They probably, if they don't, they'd probably be happy to tell you how to get there. I have their right. So absolutely. Wow. Call them. And thank you so much. Yeah, let me know what they say because most states will force that. I sure will. All right, thanks. Appreciate it. All right, thank you. Good deal. Yeah, it's a couple forms you fill out, but and again, things are rapidly changing, so I don't know what is going on everywhere, but I can tell you that for sure, in most states, the PUC are citizens utility board is good enough place to start. The ICC will, in fact, force that. So I'll check that out. And Karen will too. 888-876-5593 8 8 8 rally. And what do we have here? I see we did talk to Julie to Judy and I appreciate and we talked to Adele and that's good. I'm clearing lines so you can call and I hope you will. 888-876-5593. Suzanne, welcome back to WGN radio. For all of you sounds so counterintuitive that I don't even know how to say it clearly. But they sign up to be frightened. Oh my God, that's not it. You know, 'cause I don't read a horror stuff, but I had to come a compendium of short stories. And I was just a few pages, you know? I was reading one and I never in my life was so horrified and it was horrible. And then after a few pages, I drove into it, but I went back and looked through the author was, and it was Stephen King. And if I had looked at the author before I just keep reading, I don't pay attention to the authors. I never would have even started it. They frightened you so badly that in this one, to get people to stop smoking, they followed you around and they knew everything you were doing. And if you took a cigarette, some of them

"To WGN radio. I'm Raleigh James so what does this have in common with everything else we've played tonight and who is that? 888-876-5593 maybe I'll give it away with this but 1965 on liberty. All right, so 88 88 if we don't get our straggler question at the end of the night I shall reveal the answer. And yeah, again, this was at one time considered the best preventative measure. And man, they were convinced, yes, and some say it's still is. All right, then. So Adele and Springfield welcome to WGN radio. Good morning, miss Riley. How are you? All right, how about yourself? I can't complain. Good. I thought what Scottie, I just, it was in today's news. They're getting rid of the zero and four one service from AT&T because everybody on their cell phone uses Google now to search up any of the phone numbers. So they got rid of that lag operator service. Yeah, I'm surprised it lasted that long. Some of the carriers know and what I wonder is most state public utility is commission will not let companies drop landlines, even though we know there are more VOIP than landlines, but still. So I wonder, for people who have landlines, are they still getting directory assistance? Yeah, I'm not sure because. I would think they would. Yeah, I don't know. I don't know. What would PUC let them give that up? I have to look that up. Second, I had a question for the host. I know we do the trivia, but you probably know when first time rock and roll was mentioned in a song. Yeah, 60 minute man, Billy ward and the domino I was going to rock them and roll them all night long. I'm a 60 minute man, 1951. Now, of course, Billy wore the Domino's weren't singing about music. They were singing about fortification. Fornicating, obviously. And that rock and roll was an old phrase for that from a long, long, long time ago. But it was Alan freed, who heard the record and said, that's a rock and roll record and kind of poor lined it for music, but that was the one. But I thought you would know that, but my question is, do you know the first mention of heavy metal? There was a 19 68 song. And they said my favorite song. They said heavy metal in it. Have you been on the 1968? Probably born to be wild. They were talking about the motorcycle. Good for you. You're absolutely right. 7 months. I like smoking lightning, heavy metal thunder, racing with the wind and the feeling that I'm under. Yeah. I thought I'd catch him. Absolutely right. And my guest for this disgusting thing that you're talking about, now where I come from, they do use this and I was thinking, I asked Johnny is any of the bodily extremists already mentioned and he's a proof was mentioned. Yeah, we've got a kind of rule to know. How about what? Urine? Urine. No, urine. Sperm. No. Okay. Well, 'cause you found discussing about it. Oh, I am. I am. I'm not disgusted for that reason. I'm actually horrified. I'm not disgusted on you. I don't like there's something called a V therapy and how you put bees around me. Let them steam you? No, no, but it's worse than that. Well then I don't know. All right, could you give me a question? I know the Pope passed away. I was thinking maybe like a Catholic or a Bible question for Bible question, okay? Anything. You want Bible trivia? Well, hang on. Hang on, I'm going to have to have to look up the appropriate Bible question for you. You don't go away. Stay right where you are. We'll put Adele on hold and we'll come back with Bible trivia. Why not? And Judy is in gray's Lake, so Judy, what do you think? Well, hey, goodness. If nothing else, you're going to get a chuckle. I'm very preparation. No, it's not hemorrhoid preparation. But hemorrhoid preparation has been used for a number of things that I can not outline on this show. Oh, supposedly, I mean, I think this was going like back in the Don age when I read 17 magazine. All right. All right, good for getting the puffiness under your eyes. Oh. Yes, well, temporary relief swelling anywhere. But no, we can say that on the radio. I was talking about those things we couldn't. So yes, I would say that none of that stuff will necessarily work, but what we're talking about here is not along these lines at all. No one's come close, and this is, this is time tested, and I hope not recently. It actually even works, though. Well, a guaranteed it worked. It worked. 100% guaranteed it worked. So you got to think about that. Animal insect. Nope. Nope, no? Nope. You're not thinking along the right lines. I'll just say that. Let's hear city. Everyone all else fails shock them. No. But keep thinking, all right, Judy. Call me back if anything. Call me back if anything else comes to mind. Good deal. Yes. Everybody's been on a wrong course on this as what I'm going to tell you. You're going in the wrong direction on this question. But I don't know. Maybe we'll get a winner with that. But yes, at one time, this was the best preventative measure for baldness, guaranteed. There were studies. I can imagine 888-876-5593, but right now we're going to go over to the WGN radio newsroom and find out what's happening in the world at large on WGN radio. With the local resources of channel 9 and the national resources of cable news network, news nation, this is WGN
