"Today. I'd like to spend some time discussing the current pandemic that we are in. And what social distancing means to us and what it supposed to achieve and will that really take us to the end of this outbreak as we know it. It's pretty astonishing to see how the entire world has come to a grinding halt. You'd one virus virus that we are not in control Lafayette. And that's where social distancing has come into play in order to use it as a short-term tactic to avoid the spread of the virus and to flatten the coup so to speak Lennon with his new wireless. No one is immune and highly transferable wireless like the current CORONA WIRES. That we have a one. That's behind the current and make him spread pretty quickly population. That's never seen it or that's never experienced it and that's what we're seeing today. So how do you control pandemic? How do you control a wireless that we just came to know about this? Basically a couple of different factors in doing that but before we get there we need to understand the science behind it. In the case of this political virus you need to understand what's the threshold of its productive number meaning to understand what is the threshold of its infection. Which is represented basically by production number called the are not in the case of Corona virus that particular number is between two and three which basically means that anyone with symptoms of the virus. Anyone who's been tested positive for the virus can infect about Putin three people on an average and from there on multiplies foot. So how do we contain it? How do we make sure that it's not as lethal as it seems to be right now? Well there's a couple of different ways to do it one. We all know that vaccine would be great in order to make sure that once someone has symptoms if they have the antibodies produced in their body their body can fight the virus and vinyl. That's what vaccination does but that seems to be months away before we can get to it and there are Pharma companies and governments which are acting pretty rapidly in terms of figuring that out but it will take time that it's needed but in order for the entire population will be able to tackle at wires like this one about Kuta of the population would need to be infected to control it. So what does that mean? Well that's what's called herd immunity and what herd immunity means. Is that if there's a big enough group of people who've had the wireless and who have developed immunity against it then when the wire starts going after new hosts and every time it bumps into somebody who has the immunity against it it becomes weaker and weaker and a repeat of time. It's totally non little anymore. It's weaker and as a result it cannot infect people with the same capacity that it was doing prior. So how'd you yet to hold immunity so for the kind of population that we have worldwide? This means that anywhere between two point. Five billion to five billion people need to be infected in order to maintain that her immunity. That's what we've seen a lot of these other viruses indices us out there one way to do it. As we said would be fined that vaccine. But that's GonNa take time the other way to do it would be to allow the virus who go around freely infecting people which just cannot be done because that means that we're GONNA pay heavily for it in terms of lives. Millions of lives would be lost. And that's where flattening the code comes to what the governments around the world are trying to do by asking people to maintain social distances by social distancing social stenciling is basically a term which according to the CDC means maintaining distance of about six feet from each other. Why six feet. Because that's the amount of distance it takes when somebody sneezes or cuffs for the droplets to come out and for the other person to absorb it so if anybody is less than six feed. There's a chance that the droplets might fall on them or they might just be able to read them in but if they're about six feet or more than that doesn't happen at the same time it's also important to understand that we all have a personal space breathing space around us so when we are normally breathing apparently we can breathe three feet or more out as well so by maintaining about six feet of distance between two people the insure or we take the safety precaution that any kind of contamination or transmission doesn't Tucker and then you look at how much is six feet if you have a bed and you start on both ends That's about six feet. If you have a sofa you stand on both ends of it. That's about six feet so you can measure it that way. In order to understand what six weeks really means. And how to maintain that distance or social distancing is one wheel minimizing potential danger that we have and by ensuring that we stay at our homes by insuring. We maintain social distance when we talk to people or interact with them. We make it a point that anyone who's infected is not able to infect others and that eventually they'll start flattening the cocoa and the number of infections as well as the number of bits would start going down but then the question comes up. How long do we have to do? This will ideally until we have a vaccine but economically and societally becomes difficult. Continue to do that over a period of twelve to eighteen months so whether we are in our homes are not at a later point in time we need to continue to practice. Social distancing inaudible ensure that the number of cases are low. But how can we make sure that when we are out of floor homes and when we are probably or probably not effectively practicing social distancing that we still contain the wireless? Well the only way to do that would be to increase the number of tests that can be done frequently. Keep testing people with symptoms so that we recognize who's infected and then we have to do everything possible in order to contain that person make sure that we quarantine that person find out about their dealings. Interactions with different people over the period of time. And then we contain or quarantine. Those people as well target quarantining is what's going to be useful in order to contain the spread of the virus from time to time Norway to make sure this happens that has to be a rigorous in rapid contact crossing after positive case has been identified. And how that will be done. Is something that we all need to figure out as we move forward but we got to get to the point where this herd immunity so that the metality of the wire schools. Don't at the same time. We also got to get to a point where we have a vaccine in place. In order to tackle the wireless that's when the entire world will be safe from it. Meanwhile stay safe practice social distancing not just for your own health but for your communities held because this is one time where your health is tied with the community held in the communities. Health is tied back to your health. We're all in this together. We're all fighting one single war for our own health. As one world against the wireless stay safe. Stay home practice social distancing. Hey I hope you like that episode. Blue checkout my website RAJIV MODEM DOT COM and by the way do Checkout Bob. Podcast mastery program. "And that is nurtured. Within the rank and file of the company began everybody in the company right from the lowest level to the highest level. It's one of the most important building blocks within an organization and can define success and the scale and extent of success rand while us are the values that the organization would horrid up and that provide an ammunition wigs figured on the Vision as well as the mission so values are very much to the company. Its people its culture its processes. It's how everyone works together. And the values define how execution happens how people behave within an organization. Pao employs behave within an organization in order to reach at school but it's transparency with its customer centered nece with a strong relationships with its responsiveness. But that's the look environment hop holding team work showing pride in their professional and personal behavior. Things like goes are all things that attract and help retain the best talent within an organization help ensure they work with each other. What's the growth of an organization and defined the cultural fabric often organization so companies values again? It will certainly motions. And if prospects look at values and they aligned with them guess what? They will support the company's products and services. We've seen so many examples. Where if your customer base doesn't align with the culture of an organization. They tend to move from it. "You know when you think about a business. What do you think of an entity that wants to make money? That's what more or less businesses have turned out to be today as a result this massive advertising massive fight for high balls to look at them. They're putting a brand and for audience to come their way. You can see it all over the Internet. You can send all over the social networks. That are out. There is a competition to get people. Look at you your business and come by from you. It's kind of become more or less than monetary transaction. That's what generally most businesses as it is out. We know that stats state. That about ninety. Five percent of businesses fail within their two year timeframe after the launched. Why do you think so is it because they do not have their products and services right is it because they don't understand the customers right or is it? Perhaps they're so unaware or unclear about what their proposition Easter. Their customer base that. They're confused in running a business as well as confused in attracting the right customers. Well you could say it's all of the about menu. Think about it. What is a business? And what makes a customer turn around and look at a business? It's the brand value of a business. Write a business is known to the widest customer base based on its brand value that it creates and what are the foundational building blocks off a strong brand generally known to be the vision and mission statements self. A business for a lot of people look at the vision and mission statements as abstract as strategic. Which don't have actionable value on business execution alley not the vision and mission of a business are there for Popa Sh. They may seem abstract. They may see up there. But the choice of the words that you put together in terms of defining the vision of a business and its mission actually can make or break an organization so that's the Vision. This emission and there are the values that were conveyed as a result of all this within the organization which builds the cultural fabric of their organization so the culture of an organization the values that it upholds and flex on its audience or its customer base are all very key so the foundation of a strong business is very much dependent on its vision its mission and its values menu tinkle for brand. Would you remember one of the famous brands? That's out? There is a Nike swoosh. Right just do it. The tag that goes along that something that people remember. There's so many others that people remember the apple logo will will brand and we can name so many that people remember as of how famous these companies have become but ask the question as to what their vision or mission is and not everybody's very familiar with it whereas should be visionary or something with a great idea the provides value to others right when you look at some of these successful companies. When you look at Steve Jobs people consider him visionary white because he talked about the product way ahead of its time before it was even formed and how it would make a difference in people's lives how would provide value when it came to fruition when it came to be realized we can see the difference. It makes in people's lives so if you're running a company if you're an entrepreneur businessman and you want to be profitable you need to think like a visionary you cannot just think like a businessman trying to run after or cheese after the dollar you have to think like visionary in dumps of what makes your organization different. What makes you different as leader of the overnight session? What do you do that is so unique and different from what is available out in the market? How can you ensure that your results by using your products are services? Are Much much better than the competition. Visionaries are nothing. But Moore's artists are talk leader spokesman inventors et Cetera et Cetera. But they're all people are thinking beyond the dollar thinking beyond profitability that are looking to make a contribution and do something different and the right kind of a brand is. Dean are able to create that that can be used to attract people to watch their concept when you look at a bran. The logo is a part of it. As I said vision. Mission is a part of the audience that you're trying to attract his apart fit all of. That's great. But the audience our customer base needs to align with walk. You have to offer. They need to understand your business for what it is. They need to understand what you provide the need to be connected and emotional level in order to back your organization. That's what is important in terms of engaging your customers create and reflect and own the motion stuck you warn of seen in your customer base. That's what a good brand does not about the logo as much. It's not about the colors and all that that's all great. It's easy to remember it creates an imprint in your audience's heads but it's about the emotional equals that people connected person any famous person or somebody in your family. Would you see you immediately? See in your mind's eye and affliction of that person. Perhaps the plots are the way they walk the way they sit or the way they talk. It all comes back to. That's nothing else but the branded that person is in using on you know some of the entrepreneurs that are out there. They were a certain set of clothes. And that's all they're wearing. They walk a sudden talks That's all making an image that's being created so that when you think of them or when that name comes in front of you. You're immediately connecting to that image in your head set of emotions that go with it as well. That all together from the brand and gives the audience or your customer base and Gut Reaction Gut feeling about your business your product or your service and you wanted to be the right kind of feeling and that's what brand value created for you. "Lot of of times. We face the question if we are being a true leader a leader is one who leaves vote and strategy and in execution however in the corporate world somehow strategy is much older rated a good strategist might not be a good executioner and why's was up but to be a good leader. You need to ease in both strategy as well as execution alright if not as at least strive ways in both strategy is important to ensure game changing tactics that were done things in your favor or in the direction that thank you desire by the Out Strategy just doesn't win the game the application of that strategy and it's perfect execution becomes Old The more important because there are no results without execution an idea or dream is not crew until realized leist. It's just that simple idea or appealed. Green execution by itself can be a futile attempt. If the plan Tom is knocked well taught and laid out. A good leader is one who understands the interdependency of strategy and execution applies intellect act to strategize and discipline to execute. A true leader is one who leads from the front in these areas. Not Not someone who plans but leaves the execution to others one. Clarification I do want to make. Is that a leader. Also has to trust and N.. Delegate he or she needs to learn to trust him delegate if he or she doesn't do it now but this is a learned trait and one that shop with experience in aid who deleted can depend on to perform set. Expectations is a great candidate to delegate to this does not necessarily mean that the aid has to be a replica of the leader. Not at all every person is unique. Different crates can be applied in. Different scenarios are us and that is where leaders acumen comes into play. Choose the right delegates for the right part of the job. There are those does that may see this as a part of strategy itself but in order to make these decisions and leader needs to have spent time leading execution as well and and that too from the front that is when at a later time the leader can afford to lead to delegation yet have complete control over execution. Some argued that in today's world if you things can be learned from others experiences absolutely but execution delegation height I do not think they come that easy. If you want to ensure that every time you'll need you come out of inner. The best experience is your very own at the the same time. One of the key jobs of a leader is to inspire look around you. There are several icons in the present and the past that we look up to. There's all astonishment and the feeling of disbelief when we look at them and what. They have achieved aspiration. And sometimes this crosses the fine line line of wanting to be in the shoes of the person. You're most influenced by into prison. Times constant media modern to actually helped sump was not at his his rights to such influence. It Senate a question whether they deserve it or not but more important. This constant marriage has tremendous influence on the minds of both mature and immature. The younger immature lock especially are more influenced and more easily influenced and in most cases basis. "Comes to your mission and what are you trying to communicate as part of your mission statement to give you a few examples? Campbell's one mission could be you are in the business of enabling people and businesses to realize their full potential. That's a why -able mission for a good coach at the same time and the mission could be your in the business of enriching people's lives with your products and services USCIS in order to inform them educate them and then help them grow their own businesses. That's a unique mission as well when and you look at these two missions or this to mission statements that I just talked about the uniqueness to both of them although the products and services might be a similar one is in the business of enabling people to realize their full potential and the reason the business of informing them educating them and helping them grow their businesses. There's a slight demarcation in terms of what they're both out to do. Oh but it's from a different angle that they're looking at it. That's what makes that mission statement unique in each of these cases and then that background story sorry that we talked about that forms the Brandini that overlaps on this mission statement that reflects itself funded mission statement in order to show what you are out to do for your clients and the clients that understanding assimilated and see them as one with your mission statement and your story they become your coins. The leads that see them though says one distorted become your clients and those that do not they go elsewhere and then the values that you bring to the table. What do you care about? What are you trying to communicate to the world outdoor leads to your clients out there but it's good customer service service or whether it's being in service providing consistent and constant value in order to see them move from point data point beat? Are you being realistic values. Are you being too optimistic. Too broad all of these come into play in terms of creating those values and they again again need to be in line with your background story and with your mission statement. It's about how you WANNA function and don't keep it Rod. Don't keep it too high get granular with your values read granular where people can recognize that. Yes these are the values use. I need in order to Obstacles and get to where I want to be but that's professionalism that it's excellence in creativity whether it's enlightenment in relation. Whatever you're values are they need to reflect through in order to show that you are headed in the right direction and you won't take others along with you? And then the design elements of feel visual representation of your brand goes back to colors. This was back to what you want. Your logo look like goes back to. What is the message that you're passing through your visual representation? That becomes very very important as you come up with your design. It's like a flag of country right. When you look at the flag of the country you can explain it well? Your logo should be explainable as well and in line with your mission statement with your background story and work your outdoor for the world and then the tone that you take everything that you write or saying you know. Are you coming across as an expert. Are you coming across as a friend. Are you coming across. Ross has a coach who understands the pain of going through certain things in order to come out successful on the other end that will be visible. Are you being professional in. Your approach are friendly. Are you being confident. Areso all of these things come through in terms of how you interact with with you leads and clients and then you'll products and services to your products and services you might say my product is the same as the other person's fraud but but not necessarily so you have to make it unique based on your story based on the brand value that you wanNA create there so many coaches out there in the world. Then we talk about a coach. How do you remember that only a few names that you remember one eighty? They've done a great job of marketing themselves over over the years to you've actually experienced some of their services and you're in love it. And how does that happen. That happens. uh-huh because you align with Iran value so that's where you differentiate your products and services in terms of making a meaningful difference taking taking them to the goal that you're leads and clients are looking to attain so those are generally elements of your Brandini and the more focus you put on them the more you keep thinking about them and the more you ingrain in them or vive them in your products and services the more successful you're going to be. What are you values? What's your vision? Where do you WANNA go? Ready won't pick your clients ends with you. What's your mission? Were you out to help out. Does your story get them. Excited follow you. All of these things together foam that Brandini that you need to construct people talk about creating a client Dow with Tara. Absolutely you need to know who you are. Ideal client is But more importantly you need to respect Who You KUNI are? Were you have to offer. And how does that help solve somebody else's the problem in order to get them follow you in order to attract their attention in order to make sure that they're in line with you. Trust you in order to help them get over the hurdles and become successful. That's the strength of your brand. And that's the uniqueness of your brand and DNA. Hey I hope you liked episode. I hope you'll find some value in terms of what your brand is and what you'll Brandini. Brandini is or could be boo. Check out my website. "Oh Man I pretty much have to swallow some amount of fear. Every time atom opens his mouth. You just never know. We will be left Bangkok last week. After six days of being with a group of just absolutely brilliant creators words and animators and yet it was just like. Please don't let us make another investment right. Now please don't let another investment right. Because he he's he's always always got some sort of idea kicking. He's got a brilliant mind that sees the world in a way that most people don't sit I mean just a complete bird's eye view of of something end. Yeah if I had to say what I'm scared of. It's just that we're going to get into to another one before we've got the other one really coax them you just trying to manage that a little bit Masa great for because it's gotten us where we are I. I am very uncomfortable at the concept of leading by example. It's something that's super important to me and it's also something I'm very aware wairoa's and so up to this point in my life I've been able to just go at it but now that leading by example is super important to me. I feel it's is changing me for the better to understand that how I show up in the world impacts the people around me that I love and care about and that other people are watching how I act and that it matters and so my biggest fear probably is failing on that route that causes someone to be inspired to take a different path. Maybe when it's healthiest all right. And what are you most happy about our kids. Yeah Yeah I'm I'm really happy about. Aw The way that we are able to craft how we're raising them and I love that even though that's that's a little bit hard. Adam is one hundred percent a self made man. He never finished college and has continued to prove over and over again that he is brilliant in has a great mind for business until I want my kids to see that you know while education is important. It what's more important is that they work hard and they show up for their lives and they they have great integrity and what they're doing and win the demonstrate that we're happy the other time is so frustrating. Yeah I ah this lifestyle is a Ford says the luxury of being able to teach them those things right. And what do you look forward to. I like being retired with you. One day too far out girl. I look forward to all of the adventures. We have every year we. We are about experiences and I always loved the idea of taking it to that next step family adventure that next. What's that thing? We didn't think we can do. And then let's go do it to me. That is that is something to look forward to. Also I do look forward to retirement. I calculate actually retirement as my kids are out of my house and all the pets are dead. Yeah that's what I'm thinking when I think retirement like we get to do all those fun things without kids. It's the precious there so we get the experience you'll live their lives. That's awesome and work. Would you like your legacy easy to be way. We think about this. A Lot We've talked about this a lot when we talk about our vision values and goals for our family and our businesses and you you know we talk like many business owners. I'm sure I've talked with their their partners as well about how to to curate well how to manage well what to do with it when you get it. What success actually looks like and We've decided together that we don't want our kids to have ferraris when they're nineteen. We won't businesses that generate money that we can put to work in organizations nations that we really really believe in ones that have real impact on big world issues so that they can have farther reach in fixing this broken world that we're leaving our kids and that that's my hope that we have some impact on the world that we're leaving them. What tonight you well said? Let's do that. Awesome Awesome Grid. This has been great. It's been great talking to you. It's inspiring seeing you come together as a family but supports the kind of lifestyle that you haven't the right values that you're teaching. Your kid says well. What does that one thing when you look back at your entire journey? One learning that you can leave for our listeners. The biggest thing that I've figured out after wrestle my company I was never more miserable. And the good buddy of mine said the real definition of failure is being super super successful at something you do not care about. I want to encourage people to not be successful for the sake of being successful and thinking that you can find happiness in dollar signs it does feel good to close the deal and the does filter when the money is pouring in but at the end of the day. There is a reckoning with yourself coming thing and if you don't start addressing it now You are super susceptible to a huge identity crisis and being crushed on the other other side of this entrepreneurial journey. Yeah I think I would agree. you're Y.. Matters and having a bigger purpose us in what you're trying to do with your life can really really steer where you go and I think it's definitely indefinitely worth the time to really really think about that and do a deep dive into what your motivation is actually are what success looks like for you is. It may not be what you I think it is. Yeah we we often said that you have to sacrifice your family for your business. Sorry business for your family. But we discovered his. That's not true. Is that when you core into to your family you have the energy to pour into your business and all of a sudden one plus one is ten and it is shocking the amount of prosperity you can have financially only by taking care of things emotionally at home. He thank you so much for joining us today. Sharing all those valujet's sharing your life with us in. I hope this inspires a lot more. Entrepreneurial did or want to be entrepreneurs at the same time they see the downtowns and they know exactly how to manure her themselves to that journey. Thank you so much for joining US thank you.
