Loudoun County Father Arrested at School Board Meeting After Daughter Allegedly Raped in School Bathroom

"For years, we have been warning about how the trans lobby is going to be endangering young women because they're going to allow young men that have mental problems who think they are women. Allowed into locker rooms. And we have been pushing back against this. Rather, I don't want to say unsuccessfully. There's been some wins and some losses, but the ACLU and all these major organizations, they are pathologically focused on trying to destroy regular gender norms and reinforce gender dysphoria. Now gender dysphoria used to be something that was talked about and was accepted as a real thing, and now we have decided to reorganize society completely and to play into a very serious mental condition that people should get treatment for. They should get counseling for. And so, in loudon county, you might remember this father that went to the school Scott Smith, who was arrested for disorderly conduct for trying to speak out at the school board meeting and then the national school board association calls him a domestic terrorist now why was he there? I want every father listening to this to know this story. Well, he was there because on May 28th, a boy who pretends to be a girl allegedly wearing a skirt, entered a girl's bathroom nearby stone bridge high school and sexually assaulted his 9 9th grade daughter. This is according to daily wire and Washington examiner. The family's attorney said, quote, a boy was charged with two counts of forcible sodomy. And one count and this is very graphic. So if you want to just talk about poppies and rainbows, go find another network. One count of anal sodomy, and one count of forcible fellatio, related to an incident that day at the school. The sheriff's office confirmed, via a public records request that this was a real charge, mapping, matching the date and location of smith's rape. His 9th grade daughter gets raped in a bathroom by a man wearing a skirt, who thinks he's a woman. Spare me the we need more Caitlyn jenners in the Republican

"So then you way for a couple of years in in the uk during rep theatre and television. And you've met your husband tomo of a back here in australia. Tell me about what it was like when you were cast in the show that everyone was talking about number ninety six a night australia lost virginity. We didn't know how big it was going to be. What made it so kind of tasty for everyone at from the and apple it was but we call strip television. That means without every night at eight thirty. I remember the number of people who they would write to a a fan letter and they would address lynn and then referred to you your sonia. Is you character character. Yeah sonya freeman but they also what made number ninety six so good was it. It tackled quite a few social problems in a very sensible way specifically the character the joe hasham played of don finlayson the homosexual lawyer. He was portrayed as a fine. Upstanding young men not suit limp-wristed. In any way. And of course joe would was one of the most popular characters and people would write to him and others would write to him and say i'll straighten you out so you can marry my daughter such a period of time but tell me about sonia freeman who who was. She's just the chemist joe james. My husband in it was struck off doctor. It was full of contentious issues. Really boys pushing the boundaries of what was acceptable on australian television. Why wasn't number ninety. Six picked up by an american network. Well i don't suppose it's the only reason i wouldn't flatter myself but i had scenes with a slight love affair with with ronnie arnold who was a dancer came out with alvin ailey dance troupe and stayed in australia lovely beautiful person african american mafraq and american and he and i had this little affair onscreen unscreened on screen and we had a kiss and intermarriage characters never went to bed together like everybody else in the number ninety six but but we did have a kiss. I was told that that was definitely one of the reasons if not the reason. It wasn't sold america at the time. It was still not possible to have black and white together. Sad isn't it. Oh i mean happily. We've moved on. Lots of things have changed. And i think in many ways something like number ninety six helps change things when you can see idiot action. They took on quite. I mean some of the storylines was cillian frivolous that they all. We all had a time when we had a good storyline. That was was going for and your character. Sonya was a suburban chemist. How did you prepare for the role. Before i took on the job. I went to my local chemists. And i said look. I've got this job paying up it. Can i come. Backstage can come behind and watch and watch how you pull the things. Because i said i've got a poor things and count out pills. I want to know how to do. Except when you when you look back at those days and you say oh we've come a long way. How do you feel about it now. It was it was a very happy time. It certainly for us as actors it was. It was a very happy time at some point. You have to give up performing. Yeah do you miss that sense of camaraderie people coming to do i do in like you get it in the theater and you get it in a long running series and yes it it. It is very very tight and sometimes performers before and hard times a bit. You've been a long serving member of the actors benevolent fund and also the actors and entertainers benevolent fund. Which is different in queensland entertainers as a lot of it and probably the oldest but certainly definitely the longest continuously running member of the actors when evelyn fund. Why it's been years. I think it is. Why is it important to you because this little help. They seems to be much much more help for sports people. And there's very little help for actors when they fall on hard. I'm not out of work actors or we give things to not always money. We give it to to the families as well so we. We had a very quite severely handicapped child of two actors and we looked after that child until he was eighteen. How'd you look after them. In in what way we tend not to to give money we have done of course. We pay bills telephone courage station things like that but it it. Everything is individual and everything is totally confidential. And you know. I can tell you about somebody but there was an actor who needed an eye operation and we paid for the i operation and that actor is still working so during covert it has been absolutely fantastic late. The audiences have been when we've had them and and the supporters that have donated money to the actors benevolent act entertainment benevolent funds. You do look buckets. A you do speeches features and in the bucket and it all goes very quiet under the under the right. No one knows about it. And it's a not for profit organization and it is charity. And i know personally you know a number of who would say very high profile actors who have benefited from the actors benevolent fund in the hard times. Few it's now becoming quite open. We can talk about depression. We can talk about hard times. We can get things through but for some reason performance. Find it difficult.

Teacher Removed After Students Pledge Allegiance to Pride Flag

"You probably heard dennis or one of dennis's guests hosts over the last couple of weeks talking about this. You know the teacher in california who bragged on a tick tock video that she created her own little sophie video in which she bragged about not having an american flag in her students classroom and when students wanted to stand for the pledge of allegiance the complained that they had nowhere to face because there was no flag nearby. She said yeah. I put that away during covert remember this. You've probably heard the story. I put that away. During covert. And i don't know where it is now. I'll find it at some point. It's in a box somewhere. And then she kind of giggled and her little video winky winky like. I'm never going to look for it. Because i don't want it. I don't like it. It made her uncomfortable. What a flag had to do in her classroom with cove. Nineteen restrictions is still a mystery to me but she bragged about and she giggled about and thought she was just the cutest thing in the world and when a student said where. Where do we do. Then how do we face our flag. She said face that one in pledge allegiance to that one and that one happened to be the rainbow flag the gay pride parade type of flag that she had hanging proudly in her classroom. We have since come to learn. You probably know this too so apologies. If this is redundant for you. But i want to make sure that those who don't know do now. There was another video of her parading around her classroom. During pride month in june and rainbow suspenders and rainbow close and rainbow shirts. And this and that and the other and all of the love winds this and all of the gender theory that and she's just one of these radical nutjob teachers who is there to indoctrinate and not to educate so. She suggested that the students Pledge allegiance to the gay flag. well her little Little boast And her little joy reid there on on the rainbow ended somewhat when she was removed from her classroom so she is now out of the school. She is still being paid while. The investigation is conducted. So that's kind of problematic but there's a chance maybe she'll be removed entirely from the teaching profession. Which of course she should be

Surefire Reasons to Switch Tables

"Sites. They make switching table super easy just in an effort to make their recreational players comfortable but in this episode. I'm about to give you six reasons to switch tables now. The ultimate idea here behind switching tables is in switching tables. You can also call it table selection right you want to make poker easier for yourself and at the same time you make poker difficult for others so if you don't already know how to switch tables on whatever site that you play on go ahead and pop open the browser jump on the table and then try to switch. I mean you could figure it out for yourself. How easier difficult. It is for ignition poker. The site that i play on all i do is closed my current table. When i don't wanna play there anymore. Go to the lobby. Hit new table or jump on new table. Get new table. Whatever the button is right there. Select my buying and bam. It puts me on a brand new table. Super simple on ignition poker. Alright so let's talk about reason number one and that's to find the fish so if you're playing on a six max table and you do not have on an anonymous site by the way if you do not have two or more fish at the table You've got to switch if you're at a full ring table and you don't have four or more fish you have to switch. So how do you know that somebody is a fish. Will you look around the table. And you see a lot of short stacks you also see lots of pre flop limping pre flop calling and pre flop blind defense. You also want to see that. There is not a lot of three bits or three bet squeezes as well because that indicates the more aggressive and maybe competent players. You also want to see lots of post flop folding or calling or little in no raising at all and ultimately at the end at showdown you want to see that your opponents had super crappy hands that they like. I guess technically good strategy wise should not have even join the hand with and of course the less tight aggressive and loose aggressive players are at your table the more fish you get to yourself all right speaking of the lags and tags right that brings us to reason number two to switch tables and that's to avoid the loose aggressive players on your left. Those lags they love to use aggression against you right. They they make poker tough by three bedding after you open race by calling you in the best position and they bet as soon as you check post flop or once you make that sieben on the flop if they know. That's the spot where you like to do a lot of bluffing. That's when they're going to raise you right or they're going to call the flop every single time just to bet when you check on the turn they make poker tough because they have position against you once again you want to make poker difficult for others not allow them to make it difficult for you so get off of those tables when you have lax to your direct left now going on with that idea. Is reason number. Three to switch tables is that you want to be the one exploiting you want to be the one with position on your smart opponents the competent opponents and you want to be the one turning the screws to them so it's okay if at your table there's a couple of lags or tags tight aggressive players. But they've got to be on your right. That way can be the one using position against them which makes their lives difficult. They're going to hate playing because you the strong competent dude or chick is on their left. Right you're the one using the aggressive plays against them. Now when i say aggressive plays what kind of plays are those. I mentioned some of them. In the prior reason number two but three bedding and three bet squeezing our great aggressive place to use against tags and lags also calling pre flop in order to bet when they check post flop generally c- betting from in position against these players who call out of the blinds against you and then raising their seabed bluffs especially when that bore doesn't hit their range when you know that they are capable of flop bluff see bedding but that board is like a jack eight four. Oh kind of a dry board. Won't rainbow jacket four rainbow board. That's a great one to be raising versus their half pot out of position. Seem it

Wrapping Up Some Hand Histories

"We are wrapping up some hand histories that we started lost episode with melissa burr. This time we're talking ten dollars twenty dollars at crown casino. You started with two thousand dollars where we are on the table right now. A look. You know we've been going up and down but that's just bring a stand into the big blind angus. I'll be giving you this hand. 'cause as hands are there'll be serious they say this business big blonde with ten and the seven officer a real power. Has todd cheese and you got bet to pass and effective. The middle position are fifty dollars. The large at kohl's net button kohl's kohl's so now this game just so we. I don't know if anyone was remembering from las wake. Said the game was really tough at the start and we'll building it now. The game is built. It's very much underway Said the ship safari fast and furious. It's for ring game. Some guys have saw bits on. It's really it's really going sartre. We call in the big blonde. We tend to seven officers. Our main you could fall but not just putting thirty bucks in you. You just calling seven seven rot. That's that's exactly right so there's five ways to the floor. I seven three rainbow. The small blonde looks like he wants to. He doesn't wanna bet into everyone's Checks what do we do. We check road we check. It goes checked her up. Look ten officer on the turn. I seven three ten for bar. I student like this and then you go to pair. I don't like this for a couple of reasons. Because jack is certainly handed would've limped along and now they've got so maybe i'll put a feel out of like one hundred twenty. Most importantly dr is the small blind bets into everyone. For one hundred seventy terrifying. It's terrifying especially considered they wanting to the previous picture eight. Yep what's the. What was the flip again. I seven three. I couldn't have three by could have raised. That could even have at seven zero fraud and pocket. I'ts bake also have things like ice. I know i night. So i mean cooling but i love it in fact wacoal heater and then a very good playa kohl's behind and then aleatory pliers followed. The river is an ice. So now if you'll sign a sites i seventy central wants to bet. Now that's hands bathing us. That was terrible view avocado. I'm guessing small vixen again. Dr this tomasson chicks. I think he schick. Coal are while there. Maybe our mike terrible plight. He but on really bright River decision put up Huge and it goes followed. Solve value to be hadid is obviously went for too much. Yeah absolutely i mean. Some people could argue that you could follow prey floppy basis. I pointed contention audit thinks especially in a game. Lock these Rising the turn is certainly something you could do. Considering i could have things like ten no on but you block that It could have our sets he can rise and then decide. What happens if you get free or something like this. Just the charge them Sometimes people to have a bit of a body of the apple when it gets checked and on the flop and certainly on the river We've sort of bombed it harping that what like top paige colza soul. There's so many repairs. There was sort of getting value from with his laws bet like and if they have mighty isis up and i told us what we lose like the hall hand applied is discombobulated. A nonsensical really. I mean i don't know what was going on. This is just a catalyst bad hand with lots of interesting situation. So i think sure we can call but maybe just to turn about. I think we got a bit smaller. We gotta get value and this is not the way.

Tactical Tuesday: Hands From Greatness Village

"Let's start out by breaking down this hand. Thomas played in a live poker streets. So this had it's at five ten twenty live somewhere in. La starts with a fish in the cutoff opening to sixty dollars. Another fish on the button calling and a very strong pro calling the big blind and thomas completing from the straddle with jat nine diamonds So there's two hundred forty dollars going to flop. The flop has ten seven deuce rainbow The flats checked around. I don't know if you wanna have a brief discussion agenda on on on docking swap and whether You know thomas his hand or or this situation you think warrants dunk so yeah. I don't know that. It warrants donkey. But i would say that the details that i would like to have available or add in would be if there's any sort of indication from either of the fish that they've kind of just mentally given up the hand i think if there's some sort of live read that you can cobble together to influence your decision here than i would prefer if say one of those players is it has already mentally checked out. I think that's pretty reasonable spot to dunk there. And then there's gonna be lots of like over cards. I think the fish and position or going to play their value pretty straight forwardly so we can apply lots of pressure on various run outs. Plus we have position on the pro. So yeah. I think that like i wouldn't mind a dunk. If we know that one of the players has mentally checked out. But barring that if we don't have any information then i'm just going to check long and kind of see what happens. Yeah i mean. I don't i don't play very many multi to begin with It's pretty rare where i even have do that. Just that until like another thing. That i would like to kind of know about or see before deciding whether or not i wanted dunk. Slop is whether there's a diamond on the flop vow would go a long ways towards shifting towards like putting me in the category But we don't know. I'm just gonna assume that there isn't a diamond on the flop because i mean coach. Thomas is the type of person to to definitely to put that in there if there was a diamond but it's ten seventies rainbow vodkas. Checked around turn is an off suit nine and the pro and the big widened butts. One seventy five and to forty again thomas. is jack nine of diamonds. So he turns. I compare now has got shot or excuse me got shot. So now has a pair and got shot on the turn I just solved the mystery by the way. So if the turn is an offshoot nine then it must mean that. We have a diamond on the

Chappo's Final Table Hand

Chappo's Final Table Hand

"So in this case chapo are french. Roy gets dealt ten clubs and the ten of diamonds and raises a at this point. The blinds are at four hundred thousand. Eight hundred thousand. This is a final table as we say Raises one hundred and twenty thousand to two hundred thousand total. I think i screwed up the math or a little bit but the raise is one hundred twenty two two hundred two and a half to two and a half big lights. Yes perma forty seven decline stack. And that's really important because as you know when you get to the final table. The chip stacks are crucial. And it really matters. This is where. Icm pressure comes to play. We talked a bit about. Icm over the last few weeks and this is going to be a great example of that so We opened a two point five. We get a call. There's a three bet up to six hundred eighty thousand so about three about three and a half times the stock i thought it was like sixty brines Let me see what are as to we. Raise to two hundred thousand He makes six eighty so maybe seven. Okay okay yeah. Yeah that's been in. It reminds yeah. Yeah that sounds right. That's an hero calls and the original caller as will also calls so we're three headed going to flop and we get a an n. We are first action so we get a pretty good flop for pocket. Ten's flops denying and clubs three diamonds. Four of spades so as a rainbow flop on nine high with the low straight on the table but really not much else and in a three bet pot. That low straight shouldn't really be too much of a factor when you're when you're factory in people's hands can yeah. I think it's important to mention here. Because we're final table we've got a jumps with every position. We do have a short stuck on the table. They're not in this hand and there's a short stack with about ten big minds on so i think that's really important to note here because everybody else has thirty big blinds or more i think rate point and it and it really. I can't reinforce this enough. It doesn't matter that that player is not in the end because it's a final table situation just their presence at the table should affect troy's strategy in this hand because There's there's as we'll see. There's a real incentive for troy and the other players to let this player lose i And to ladder up and get a bigger payout so just like we talk about anticipation being skill. We can use pre flop knowing what the icm situation is is is on the you have to have in your mind not just with the players that are in the hand but just all the players that are at the table so in this case the flop comes ninety clubs three diamonds forest spades. Were holding ten ten. And i think we're going to be checking to the aggressor with almost our entire range or i would expect in a three bet plot like this. That's gone multi way and that's what cheer as what hero does Chapo checks the original caller checks as well and then the three better Makes a bet of seven seventy five about almost eight hundred thousand about half pot which is slightly larger than the original. Three bed Hero calls and this is the really interesting spot so then the middle position player who called in the first time re raises a shove so before we even get into the future action. The board is nine three and four. This player called an open raise. Then they called three bet then. They checked the flop and now they've shoved over the seabed so the better folds and it's back to us and we're sitting there with the the lowest possible over pair which i think we have uninterrupted By the action. So what are we thinking in this spot. There's so many things we could be thinking about. We could be thinking about where we are in distribution of our own range. We could be thinking about the range of the player that's made this Check shove What what else should be thinking about. And what was the top of our minds. Now you guys in word. This board is not real conducive to a lot of hand. It doesn't hit a lot of hands called pre flop. So when i see that shove i'm thinking either a larger over pair or a set 'cause i mean the you could have something like five six. But that's so unlikely to be calling this pre flop. I think

American Could Only Have Controlled Afghanistan if We Installed a Dictator

"If you wanted to retain control of afghanistan. Eric it's like retaining control of rikers island. You'd need a thought. We would have had to appoint a military dictator there who would have enforced rule harshly the way the president of egypt had to do when he overthrew the muslim brotherhood. We would have had to put an a dictator who was willing to crack. Heads shoot people and it would have embarrassed america and certainly not something by would have done. There is no humane way to rule a place like afghanistan. You will either have an islamist dictatorship like taliban or you will have a secular dictatorship along the lines of qaddafi or saddam hussein or assad in syria so thick that the option of a multi cultural pro transgender jemma critic feminist regime in the middle east is not on the table. It never what okay. What about british style colonialism. Another words they were not Pro transgender they were not flying rainbow flags over the embassies. Wh- because there's a fourth option right. You just mentioned we can have a strong man a pinochet Some pig right. But how's that but we can't pull that off now. We can't even control. Our southern border. Q&A: Is Bitcoin Bad for the Environment?

"I'm thinking about investing in bitcoin. But my sister told me that crypto is bad for the environment. Is that true. But i thought crypto is digital. So how is that possible. I know right. Crypto currency is entirely digital currency. So if it doesn't exist in the physical world how could it be affecting the fiscal world. It's a concept that can totally make your head spin but we have to study ourselves because it's one hundred percent true cryptocurrency is digital. I'm not gonna rock your world and tell you that there is a pot of dougie does coin at the end of the rainbow. The only way you're going to be holding dougie gone in your hands is if you come over to meet my dog coin penny and you can follow her at dougy cohen on instagram. Halfway so even though the currency isn't physical it is made by physical systems. And that's where the environmental impact comes in. Let's double click on bitcoin for a second because it's one of the least efficient cryptocurrencies to manufacture. And it's also been researched. The most thoroughly so there is belenky of data on the effects of its production process and here on money rehab. We do let us some data. So let's talk about how. Bitcoin is made we touched on this in our episode on. Nf teas but i think we're due for a refresher. Bitcoin is created in a process called bitcoin mining. But i promise you. The process of bitcoin mining is not what you might think of when you picture traditional mining when you think of mining you're probably thinking of well a mine with hard hats and caves and canaries but bitcoin mining doesn't happen in a mine. It happens on a computer and this is the interesting part of bitcoin. Anyone can mine. Bitcoin and you can do it from anywhere in the world so long as you have access to a computer that makes bitcoin completely different from government backed currencies like the. Us dollar. nick sherry. Note here if you want to impress your friends. The financial term for government backed currencies is fiat currencies. Okay back to bitcoin mining. Can you imagine if anyone could print dollar bills. Only that but imagine that you could just print dollar bills and do it at home. Without getting out of your. Pj's if this was a thing. I would do it. I wouldn't you so. Why isn't everyone making mining bitcoin.

Mom Burnout: The Truth About Parenthood

"The title of the article is feeling pressure to be a perfect mother relates to parental burnout and career ambitions. And they don't mean career ambitions in a positive sense it's that it's negatively affected career ambitions. You'll see i'll explain so they basically talk about how becoming a parent is this massive milestone in someone's life it is a huge life transition but they outline that it's supposed to be related to this. Like euphoric hashtag. Blessed sense of happiness. But when you actually look at the research parents especially new parents do not have higher levels of happiness than they did previously if anything like. they're more stressed. They feel burnt out. They have a lot more things to think about and so they point out that parenthood benefits some outcomes lake. You know you feel like your life has more meaning like you feel a great sense of purpose but that parents with young children especially actually have lower life satisfaction and more depressive symptoms than people without children. And i know we hear this. We're probably like yeah that makes sense you know but at the same time. There's this massive expectation that having kids is the best thing in the world and it's you know like picture the mom giving birth and it's like this courageous day of my life it's so magical in rainbows and everything and that so that is the expectation but majority of us are not feeling that way. So it's like this. Cognitive dissonance of i should be feeling this way but i don't so now i feel even shittier that i don't feel this amazing hashtag blast way and i'm actually a little bit depressed and i feel like even more so nowadays. There's more pressure because both parents have also the career pressures so nowadays. It's very common for both parents to work fulltime jobs. Have these you know be pursuing these big careers whereas before it was much more common that one parent usually. The mother would stay home and take care of all the household duties and childcare tasks while the other person worked full-time outside of the house.

Yoga & Meditation Teacher Tracee Stanley on How She Was Pulled Into Meditation

"Interested in that you were really pulled into meditation. I in yoga. Second that's the opposite for me. I found meditation through yoga. And so i'm curious just a little bit about what were those first practices like. What were you practicing. I love this question. So one of the books that i was given by my friend and doni anatazio. Who was the one who gave me all these books. When i had that spontaneous meditation moment was a book on a tantric. Meditation by harish johari and so this is before the time of having any kind of audio so basically you would read the practice and then you would just do the practice based on what you remembered from reading and so i remember doing this practice. I was sitting in my apartment. I was living in south africa at the time. And i was doing this this practice. And you know. In retrospect it was a chucker meditation. But i did not know that until later and i had no idea what a chocolate was. Even though it was explained in the book it was like Way over my head. And so i did this meditation focusing on different parts of my body. Which were the talk rose and visualizing different colors and i believe that there may have even been like Shapes or geometrical shapes that were being visualized. And i did this meditation. And at the end of the meditation towards the end of the meditation this vibrant rainbow of colors and magic. It was like this mystical experience. I was like wow. This is what meditation is you know. This is incredible and so that was the first hook into

Telling Your Authentic Story with FOMOFanz Podcast Host Brian Fanzo

"I believe every person has a story to tell. And i believe in the world. We're living in right now. We have to compete with fake news and bad news. And so how do you cut through fake news and bad news its authenticity. It's real people doing real things and being real to themselves and unfortunately right now we don't have enough good stories being put out there. I think there's so many people that are there story stuck within. It's it's it's it's behind that button bringing pushed and so that's where for me. I try to get people say. Press the button. Just just do it and that freedom once you get used to it. I mean the amount of emails that i'd get people like ryan you're right once. I actually just started my podcast. It became a lot easier brian. Once i finally started using instagram's stories or whatever it may be and so for me. Precedent done is more of a mantra. That says i'm tired of bad news and fake news and until we have enough good people telling her story. We can't drown out all of that noise. And so. I want people telling their stories. I want entrepreneurs doing it. And i have a little bit hidden agenda of. I don't like the mantra of faking. Tm make it selling unicorns and rainbows and the world of that kind of existed for a while and so for me. The more we get this kind of level of authenticity pushed out the more at scares those. Those that have been successful by faking. It's an disappear along with a fake news and the bad news and we'll be able to kind of connect good stories that good people and what i love about that is. There's i think there's a method of madness and people get there a little bit afraid of pushing the button because they they don't have something to say. And what's what. I think is very therapeutic about it is whether you send it out there to the world are not pushing the button you writing recording whatever it is you start to learn how to find your voice and your perspective which a lot of us especially if you're a corporation court corporate for seventeen years you lose that that tool to practice how to find perspective and i think something really spoke to me about how you present yourself that that it was your encouraging people to do this even if you don't have a game plan because i think you knew without without being obvious about it you're like this. This is going to help you get it and figure out how to do it. Can i think for for a lot of people to i think it's not even the fact that they don't know if they have a voice it's they don't know where to start and there's this there's this weird in you know inflection that we have where we're like. I'm not an expert and like the breaking news. Nobody's an expert and nobody wants to hear from an expert. We wanna hear your point of view on your experience and your way of translating and putting it out

Holding Pocket Tens and Flop

"Talk about some poker Flop we've got pocket tens to lamps. We raised twenty and we got called. The flop is nine for deuce rainbow. So there's a forty seven going in In the from law what do you think about the spot here. I think i would probably go ahead in bet large. I do think check raises kind of fun and it can be effective against players. Who c- who does too much in this situation. Bud one three limber. I just don't trust as player to bet enough. So i think we should be putting ourselves now a little bit bigger because i think that this is not this is not a hand benefits as much from like keeping over card type hans in play so if we had. Let's say queens making bit smaller because let's opponent has like king jack Votes that there's some downside obviously with king but there's also some serious upside with jack With hens that doesn't that dynamic doesn't exist in the same way so i would be targeting just our opponents pairs mostly expecting quite a few unpaid hands to fold and then having a high confidence in us having the best hand going forward. I do think we have to be a little careful about like not sure that i'm trying to over bet turning river in member. Dvr four hundred effective so Of ten ultimately. I think we can probably just size to get all in. There's not much much better to do Like i do think if we were a little bit deeper we might want to size up on the flop and then better a more conservative amount on the turn and river mike. Let's say fifty percent pop. Just because i think if we four hundred one. Three games like can't be a lot. I mean it's philly. So i guess that players are a little bit looser. Her used Losing four hundred dollars in these environments. It depends a little bit. You're playing against like are getting stacks in here is a huge pot or is that like one of the mental. Like if you're in the casino in dc the mgm. That seems to be a game where this would be a big pot to get here. But it like the jack in cleveland. You know getting four hundred dollars in in this situation in like a one three game. A lot of the reds there in recreational players are not that rich porn stars think took change end. You might expect like a nine or a pair of aids or something like that to fold At some point the hand in if you are all in as the aggressor you might be facing calling range which has been pretty bad shape.

The History Behind the Creation of the Pride Flag

"So we all know the wonderful rainbow flag that has become a symbol for all members of the alphabet mafia. But where did it come from. So in nineteen. Seventy eight artists and designers. Gilbert baker was commissioned by san francisco city supervisor harvey milk who was one of the first openly gay elected officials in the united states to make a flag for the city's upcoming pride celebrations harvey. Milk is a lot of good information on that man out there too. I almost covered him. You were about to say strawberries. I was like oh. She would've like stumble over at five times getting louder until we're like women. Are you stroking you no. Don't worry your past the time. Line of where i needed. Okay though so baker who was a prominent gay rights activist gave a nod to the stripes of the american flag but drew inspiration from the rainbow to reflect the mini groups within the gay community. He was influenced by the flag of races. Which has five horizontal stripes red white brown yellow and black which was popular among the world. Peace and hippie movements of the nineteen sixties. The rainbow flags commissioned by the fledgling pride committee were produced by a team that included artists. lynn seager. Who is known as the fairy argyle rainbow. According to her she created the original dying process for the flags. Thirty volunteers hand dyed in stitch. The first two flags for the parade. The original flag design had eight stripes with a specific meaning assigned to each colors. They were hot pink for six read for life orange for healing yellow for sunlight green for nature blue for magic and art into gopher serenity and violet for spirit i really like. Did you not know that. The flag colors actually signified. Why did but. I don't know i didn't know what they signified. I knew they all had significance. But what they dropped the sex one after the assassination of harvey milk on november twenty seven nineteen seventy eight. The demand for the rainbow flag greatly increased in response. The paramount flag company began selling version using stock rainbow. Fabric was seven stripes. Red orange yellow. Green turquoise blue and violet as baker ramped up production of his version of the flag he to dropped the hot pink stripe because fabric in. That color was not readily available. God it makes sense. That was a manufacturing issue. Yes like you just couldn't do it easily. So he said not school would just keep the other ones. So in june of two thousand and eight designer daniel quasar released a redesign incorporating elements from both the philadelphia flag in the trans pride flag to bring focus on inclusion in progress within the community or retaining the common six stripe rainbow designs the base the called the progress flag ads variation of chevron along the hoist the features black brown light blue pink and white stripes to include the communities of marginalized people of color trans individuals and those living with hiv

He's worth setting aside the volume Stephens falls into the CEO of rivalry and E Sports and sports betting company. How you doing? Stephen Good. Thanks for having me excited to be here in case people don't know who you are. You're you're based out of Toronto Canada. Like I said, see old rivalry, the the Robin Hood of e Sports and sports betting. You're a former of yourself, you know, you turn this passion into what I would call a content to Commerce authentic story. Then you kind of build this platform from scratch and you know just early this your home is what twenty million dollars. Yep. Awesome. So yeah and robbery, of course, it's answer. Maybe it's the the leading sports betting and sports media property right now offering fully regulated on Thursday. During these Sports awesome, it's such a great industry. They tend to find yourself in. And I just, I'm just curious, you know, how did you ever find yourself in that position? Yeah, so, I guess it goes back. I mean, so first one, when I was younger, I'd played a bit of time, Rainbow Six on Xbox, like early Xbox and that's a new bra know in Canada, there was definitely like, I mean, it was really a sports then it was just people pussy. Clans and playing competitive. Competitively online and there was actually this is like Roman MLG was getting started. They would host these like really really, really tiny tournaments at The Fan Expo in Toronto and the fanxchange is like Toronto's version of Comic-Con. It's like the Canadian like small version of it. So would play we play at those with my I have a twin brother so we would we would do that. Then we got extremely addicted to World of Warcraft played that Route 4 to 5 years. Really, really consistently up until like the end of kind of let's say, burning Crusade. And then once University and decided to kind of do some other things with our time, but did that and then do professionally went into the financial industry sort to finance for a bit and then really in like 2013 and 14 when valve released the arms deal update and skins trading started to pick up, I was just playing Counter-Strike box games and do a lot of people do. Thought that was a really interesting kind of business and it paired a little bit with my current experience in the financial industry and honestly we're just getting excited by wage. Happening like in Escape Marketplace this to like Dota 2 in csgo skins, the market places. I ended up meeting these two guys, Ryan White and Kevin Wimmer who are the co-founders of Loop Market, which is anyone here that would do two player and bought skins should remember? Cuz I think, at one point, we were the largest Dota 2, skins Marketplace globally. So they were running that out of Toronto, which was more just coincidence. And this is like a 1015 early 2016. At this point we ended up becoming Partners where I said, hey, you know, well, maybe raise some money and help dilute Market a bit, but let's also look at doing other things and let's say, gave me media any sports together

"I saw on the internet rainbow tomato seeds. You bet you did tomato plant. That grows a cluster of blue and purple and pink and red and yellow tomatoes all on the same stem. It's amazing it really is amazing and it's also totally fe. I think you know people really should keep in. Mind that if you see anything rainbow plant a plant. That has <hes>. Parts of that plant whether it's separate pedals leaves fruit right. Anything that is depicted as coming in blue and purple and green and red and pink and all the colors of the rainbow on one plant. It's not true it can't it can't be true and i'm astonished that anybody would actually believe it enough to plunk down their hard earned money but when you said you want to talk about this i thought how did this even get started and there are actually some legit tomatoes. And they're beefsteak tomatoes have rainbow in their name but they don't pretend to be plants that grow pink and blue and purple fruit on the same plant. You've got you've got big rainbow that's made by burpee and it's a yellow tomato. That's marbled a little bit with red and you've got you've got rainbow tomato with it. Sold by totally tomatoes and that's orange with red spots. So yes it's a by color tomato and they put the word rainbow in there. But it's not what you're seeing when you google rainbow tomatoes and you come up with these pictures. That look like tomatoes that had been spray painted. It's just crazy. It is crazy if you see these pictures in there. There passed around a lot on social media and remind people that these are fake. That these are photoshop pictures. I can take a picture of just about any plant and make it into a rainbow plant. You know it's easy to do with photoshop. So that's the downside of the internet in some ways is that people get misled and we don't want people to be misled about something as wonderful as a home grown tomato

They know that when we come together numbers we become a whole different person when we come together. And i think we sit continuing to stay with the unity that we are gaining right now to continue to move forward. Yeah yeah and. I think the of the relied on what you were asking earlier. And why so. Important for us to unite is we. We have to stop that slave mentality. Acceleration mentality of ortiz unity within within our own community. Okay well i'm glad you were a part of was peaceful because i've guy who The actor an insecure out. The i can't remember his name. Gosh kendrick injury. He i know like he was getting police. Brutality like crazy one particular day. It was insane. How the police officers out there. Not just him but the protesters that were clearly peaceful. I mean they have their tear gas. Like you said the rubber bullets and things like that. And i've seen pictures of people across the nation who've been a part of these protests is where they've lost is police officers. Were shooting them in is with the with the rubber bullets like how you go from the side of campaign you know whatever peaceful quote that you have on silence. You're just marching and the police. Come at you with bullets. That you lose i from protesting crazy to me and they wonder why things turn around and they wonder why we're so upset. It's because of things like this. It was handled definitely incorrectly. It could have been a lot better But i think these are the things that we need to see right hand Speaking of that. It's not just the things that we can see because even during the protest if you don't know they actually actually have jammers that Were jammed up your phone. So you couldn't Couldn't actually required recorded stream so it was these devices that the that the military has his protests. "Girl talk. Struggled talk with. I know I'm like sweet. Amazing husband is is Over here I got tissues right by the bedside baby I love you. That's sweet that you have empathy. But Oh wow okay so excited because to add this fun ness we have Teddy Mellencamp on the show and I think this is like kind of a little surprise there because she is Sarah our guest co host who was so brave and just shared about her miscarriage on the show that she just recently went through over Easter. She's a huge real housewives fan so this is kind of like a surprise but also let's talk about the struggle you know a of. I wanted to say like I'm so sorry and I feel you and I know there's no words that anybody can say that make you feel better but it's also nice to meet you nice to meet you and I literally was just telling them like I cry. I'm not a crier but I was like crying in bed for like two weeks and I think all I did was watch bravo like a part of me was like I need to like reach out to Andy and be like you are saving lives. Everywhere is so true though. Like people who don't watch don't get like like. I'm surprised fanatic. I watch it all and so like thank you for helping me get through this. You know. It's a nice escape to realize thank goodness that is not my life it really ya I will. I really enjoy watching. Sarah I gotta say and you have. You're going to be so incredibly proud of me but I just watched the last four. I know I know of Beverly Hills. Housewives like yeah. Are you so proud? Yeah and I like Teddy's my girl like I feel like Teddy. You're so misunderstood like your misunderstood like season. Well Yeah I watched the one where she was crying at the table. Okay down. I don't know if it's because of what I went through but when in looked at you instead and then I found out you were pregnant I was to I don't hi it's laughable. Well Arriaga what's next moment where I was completely losing it? And then you know when you're really about to lose it and somebody says guys she's about to cry been. You're I was so angry that that's me like when someone's like you're about to cry aren't you? Know makes me cry them Morton. I wanted to be there so bad that table and be like shut. You are so mean like like in. Just take your hand in his company. Just get out of there. I was so angry. I from like a you know all the emotions then when I watched it back and I looked at what my husband was doing during it. Just eating breakdown like get that lost by no means him in. There was only he goes. I just kept hoping that it kept eating would all stop. That's exactly what I would do that. Stephanie Member and Stephanie. Pratt and I had that thing happened in in in California. We're like arguing with. I've never gotten into a fight with anyone in my life. Besides yours awesome now looking like it kind of felt good for sticking them for myself and she was. I was like no and she goes down to Mike and he's eating something and just like what's going on and I'm just like you know and then you're like struggling Vince. Mira Mike Walker. She's my wife. I'm going to back her up. Yeah also I think to. Y'All's credit you guys are strong independent women were like. Hey y'all got it. There's nothing that we can say as your husband that is more effective than probably what y'all are doing when she said you're gonNA cry. It's like I felt that in my gut because that is what someone's like are you okay. Are you crying? And I'm like or if somebody tells you to relax all your debt. You're dead ball. He was quiet during the whole thing but then of course on the car ride home. He's like you know. Maybe you overreacted and I was like I wanNA hear. How do you deal with the criticism? I know we were texting the other day because You know. Trolls can be kind mean. And sometimes when you're on an you know a huge show like that people can say oh you know you're this and you're that and it's like. I can only imagine if Mike and I are ever do that show. It's you know. I I see the the comments that they do on the podcast onto hard. It's like they don't see that inside of every single day and you know we're just trying to have a personality in the fun and it can be taken so out of context. And how do you deal with that when it's you know your your life is on the TV and then you're having to read these these comments about that? You now your husband too much. It's like what what wife doesn't Nag their husband. You know what I think the first thing that I always try to remember as I signed up to be myself. And that's the good the bottom the ugly and they are. They're never going to edit you to be somebody that you're not but they're going to focus on something that you are so like. I'm tied Bay and you're not gonNA ever miss that. They are going to focus in on that every single time. No make that like I can kind of make fun of myself or not take myself too seriously are like laughing or those types of things so what? I try to do in regards to like the social media. Trolls is like I play into it so they were brutal cried navy. What's wrong with you so then I make my entire instagram. All about songs about crybabies and that's amazing and just like pride at that because like here you know it is is like especially when it comes to breaking down and being emotional. I would rather be that than somebody that out myself and putting on show to be on your show Sarah before we get into the the infertility. Miscarriages do you. Do you have a a question about the Beverly Hills Housewives? I just I mean no. I'll ask one question. Do you does it. Because you already filmed. Was it so different building without Lisa vendor pro like was it like felt I think their biggest thing that was fell and I do not know if it's because she's gone or not is that I got to know all the other women better like. Everybody seems like their guard was down. That also could be. It's my third season or it's because they were protecting themselves or whatever it may be but I mean regardless of Lisa van pumping. They're not. I mean we're still fighting honestly been By now that she's gone. You know like we not but I think I do have stronger relationships with some of them even if you don't see it so much. Yeah I have to tell Janet Janet. I Dunno he saw. There's a scene where they don't show the whole thing but it's a flashback of teddy telling Kyle Kyle's for US run Teddy's Jelly file that she's pregnant and kyle weeks. How in like so happy and starts bawling crop literally when I watched them like dots like Jan. I'm GonNa like sit her down and she's GonNa lose it but like how happy and excited Kyle for years like Oh my God. That's jam because like Kyle's like in a different days Older kids if she was passed. It and I was like that excitement that I saw like. Oh One thousand percent but I know tiny use struggled to to conceive And did you was your miscarriage. Ivf was after. So I had so. I couldn't get pregnant at all naturally prior to slate and then with slate I got pregnant doing the first shot but I had been doing treatments. Were probably a year. You know like Clo- mid which I call it. Have you been all of that? And then I had the PA- gesture on shots in the ASS. Where Gavin sit down. I bought steroids. Like all of those types of things I did and then the first time I got pregnant with slight within some nation And then with crews It just wasn't the same and we were going through. I and I think I did like I did so many rounds of IV IVF. It was to the point where my mom I mean my my parents. My Mom My Dad. My husband were like you can't do it again. like you're like this is your final time and I remember feeling like all of these crazy motions. I almost like hit it from my husband because I want. I didn't want him to report back to the doctor or my like family. Like I don't think she can do another round. But it makes you crazy. I remember how crazy I felt an out of body. And it's I you try to control it but it's almost impossible and especially when you're going to the doctors and you're reading numbers and you're trying to track like is this. Is it going to be viable this time? Or you're such a mind game and it's so emotional and you just want to be able to control something you can't control and you know it's really hard to have faith in those moments. I think and you know I I truly fell like I wish I had the same mindset that I do now I was open and I shared with people what I was going through. A new how commented actually is in how many women does happen too. Because I didn't talk to anybody and just like went into a depression over at because I didn't want like have that moment where I had to satellite. I'm broken. I feel completely broken because this is all we want. This is you know and and we can't do it So I I think that it's one of the hardest things that you can go through but it's also one of the most amazing things you know with time it just like we. It's not going to be on our time schedule. There's no perfect time like when people say everything about having kids time just not right. There's no perfect time especially when you deal with these obstacles and you know how difficult it can be anti going through what you've been through. What would you say to someone like Sarah who just experienced this for the very first time like looking back? Now what would you say to Sarah or anybody else's dealing with this I would save you know? The first thing is like be open with I. I assume you're married Be Open with your husband and say how you're feeling or what you need in that moment An and let it all out and also the biggest thing is. Nobody's going to tell you how to feel. Nobody's email you that this is how you should be feeling right now or it's GonNa feel better next time or that. They have a good feeling about next time. It's all going to Piss you off. Yeah like the biggest thing is just continue on knowing that when the when the timing aligns. When it's going to happen it's going to happen. And that's the only thing that keeps you and going and you know as I wish. I don't know I could do it any differently than I did before but I wish I would have taken a breath during at all. I wish I would have gone. It's going to be okay. We're going to be okay instead of just living in in that anxiety in that pressure and all that that I did to myself I my gut feel like I made it harder. But it's so hard when you want that family will like all I do. There's nothing to do so all day. I'm on Google all day..

"They what up to this guy. So Zakharov Dame. They went up to house because they found this dudes bike nearby and then there were talking to him like You know do you know this person's like Oh yeah I was? I was drinking with him a few days earlier. But no I haven't really seen him since. And they look down on the ground and then they see a severed Peterson. The are there just like Suspicious and it's not your front yard. No no no. That was the Dildo and so they went around and they'd look to on the grounds and stuff and then they saw the missing man's body was like an outside toilet in the garden and they went into the basement of the guy's place and then they removed the plank floors and they found two skeletons down there. Now I'm not sure if he ate those or not. Damn what did JODI FOSTER SAY AFTERWARDS? Like a real life seen from silence of the lambs the sequel well. He was eating them not wearing them. Yeah so it's food not fashion now. Which is the big crime. Fashioned or haute cuisine haute couture healthcare desire to eat human. Being is just it's very unappetising to me. I just because I feel like I don't think it would taste very good but wearing a dress made out of a woman's skin it'd be better. No that wouldn't be better either. I thought it was interesting. The the original film silence of the lambs the way kind of played on Transphobia by having buffalo bill that notorious seen standing there talking as Dick between his legs and putting on a little makeup and then saying Argh fuck me I know you would but nobody else would well. That's the thing about it is. It's like there's that film when I came out has protested and hated upon and people you know obviously for good reasons because it was so harmful or problematic towards transpeople and queer people and now we look at that film and it's a camp classic. I know there's a lot of trans people that would've like hated back then but they're like now. They've got him grown to like it. I'm sure there's still some doubts it's disgusting but if you notice. Buffalo Bill is not really trans. The person like that's why she they were denied Service at the clinic. You're you're just crazy. You're not trans. They were trying to do that. And make that distinction. But I think a lot of activists at the time were saying that. This wasn't clear enough in the film. And certainly the film does you capitalize on. People's Transphobia and so that's why I think we're in a better place today as a society because we look at that film and we kind of think of it as comedy as a camp class. There's a there's humorous aspects to the over the top horror that we see and this is legit scary. Yeah you know. Oh yeah one gets kidnapped and stuff. I mean it's it's still scary. Which is down the well. It's still scary. Frederica brought was her name. Frederico memo Frederica Bramall. I'm here to help you get fuck you pitch get Katherine Katherine. Yeah she's A. No Rica was the one who was. He was the first vic victim. Jodie foster peaks that on the whale well and sees the girl with the dog. She's like I'll be right back around.
