"Body to stop war inciting event and fix time. Rachel discovered that her dark future, still existence, dill sucked. So she was sent to the present which was actually earth six one, six. So an alternate present from her time line by Kate Pryde so that Rachel could escape. The horrible university is the days of future past universe, and she ended up stuck on earth six one, six, bodily. We should note. She didn't just travel back in consciousness as Kate had and one on six, one, six, Rachel bonded with the Phoenix force just like the quote, unquote dead or six, six quivalent of her earth. Eight, eleven mom. Jean grey. We should probably talk a little bit more about the Phoenix and Jean grey because they're going to be a big deal. So let's cut inside this previously on segment two previously with the Phoenix force way back in uncanny x men. Number one hundred one. Gene gray was piloting a space shuttle through radiation storm to save the other x men, but the radiation was super shit. And she was gonna super die. A cosmic force appeared saying that it would save jeans life if they bonded. Gene said yes and became Phoenix a cosmic powered superhero, but things went pretty bad. Thanks to masterminds manipulation and the whole power corrupting deal. So Phoenix became dark Phoenix and did some very bad things before being de dark by the love of her friends. The x men Jean was tried in combat for Phoenix's sins by the sheer empire. Everyone's favorite space bird jerks and the x. men fought by her side. They might have won. But Phoenix alternately made the decision to kill herself to prevent further harm, and it was really sad, and it was also one of the greatest comic stories ever written leading to one of the greatest ret cons of written. Because as it turned out, the Phoenix had only been in personality gene, the real Jean grey was recovering an underwater cocoon where she would soon be discovered by the Antarctic for the Phoenix force of self was still alive. Also it accidentally sent some of its power to Jean Grey's clone, Madeleine, pr-. Prior intending to give it to Jean grey. That's a very long story and not worth getting into here. And the Phoenix gave some of its power to Rachel summers, but the Phoenix history on earth begins far further back as we learned in x caliber jahns ago. The first Farren remember the guy who's running around with Excalibur right now called on the infinitely powerful Phoenix force. He summoned to earth, but evil wizard named NetCom chased it away in the present-day neck around came back the anti Phoenix and tried to claim the Phoenix from Rachel and the current Farren who's kind of a little shit compared to the original. But we love him anyway, was doing his best to inherit the power. He'd always been promised. It was a whole mess. NetCom and Phoenix fought Phoenix helped by Excalibur and a bunch of other folks, and it was awesome. But as Phoenix one, she was rendered coma toasts and woke up well, not woke up, but reappeared wearing the original green and gold Phoenix costume also calibers lighthouse which had been their headquarters. And apparently we found out. Had been created across the multi verse to help the wizard Merlin be manipulative jerk yet that got blown up all across the multi verse. So Excalibur is now living in captain Britain's old home Braddock manor, and that pretty much catches us up to today. So let me recap that recap real fast or at least the Phoenix relevant spits relevant bits of it. Phoenix force generate spontaneously in the universe. Phoenix force is summoned to earth by the original Farren way back at the dawn of time, but shaved away by another evil wizard. Necker Phoenix force millennia later, here's jingle psychic. Distress call comes rescues. Her sort of sticks or ondra lake to regenerate. Takes place goes dark Lethem, bunch of broccoli. People get killed in trial by combat gene, comes back eventually reclaimed part of the Phoenix force..
