"The very same dog, the most perfect, wonderful dog. The very same dog, you could see, and because you have a traumatic experience with a dog in your past, that to you, that golden retriever that I am so excited to meet and get to know, you could think is terrifying. Nothing changed about the dog. Same exact dog different realities based on who is taking it in. The same happens with life. The best example of this right now, I'm going through something in my personal life right now that everybody around me is very negative about. And it could be really easy to get swept into their negativity. But this thing that's happening is my experience because I'm the one inside of it. And at first, I started to sort of get pulled down. I started to let other people's fear and other people's negativity affect my experience. And then I just keep coming back to my truth. What is happening right now in my life is not negative. For other people, it is and good for them, that's their truth. But I create my reality and I get to look at life through the lens that I perceive and if you know me at all if you're just meeting me, hey, I'm Rach. I will always reach for joy. I will always look for the positive, I will always see the silver lining. It is pollyanna and I do not care. And this is not created from a life of ease or beauty or no, this is created from a really hard beginning to my life. And lots of hardships along the way, and so I know that I get to control my outlook. And so I do. If you've been thinking about talking to a counselor or a therapist, it has never been easier to access that. When everything switched to virtual, it normalized the idea of virtual counseling, something that I have been talking to you guys about for years. Better help is a longtime partner here on the podcast. And I love them because they assess your needs and match you with your own licensed professional therapist. So it's not like you're just sort of trying to figure it out without any guidance, which is how so many people approach therapy for.

"To wait three months for something that's bothering you. Now, if you have appointments back to back, say they have an appointment at 8 15 to telehealth and 8 15 in person, same date saint name and time. And you're like, ah, I don't feel like going to the doctor, but they probably need to look in my ear, I think we all know. You should probably if you can fit in the appointment and fit in the in person appointment. But if it's more of a, I'm not going to be able to see the doctor or talk to anybody for three months. Get in there and see the provider. And then they can try to push things along if it's important. If that makes sense. I don't want to say always choose telehealth if they're I need to see the doctor. I agree that I think we were just mentioning, yes, often times there's physical symptoms they might not realize you have that you can't see your back and you're by yourself. You're like, did you not realize that Rach all over you? Holy moly. Well, that's how I was diagnosed with shingles was after I talked to the doctor on the phone, let's say I talked to her via messaging, you know, the in health messaging system. And then she said, I think you need to COVID test, which was like, are you kidding me? But I did it, because mostly, it was mostly like, I am a 100% certain this is not the problem, but I'm not a doctor, and I would really hate to be asymptomatic or asymptomatic and spread it all over the place. My daughter's immunocompromised. And I'm like, whatever, you know, I've been through so many things in the past few years with COVID tests just add to the experience. So it was not that big a deal, you know, do I want to do them again? Not really. Didn't hurt..

"Okay now maybe there is an area in your life where you're like actually no. I was pursuing this goal. I haven't made any ford momentum side momentum if anything. I've gone backwards. If that's you hear a couple of reasons why that may be the case number one you keep doing the same thing and expecting a different result the definition of crazy right doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. So if you want to have something different. You're going to have to do something different. That's why we start this process by asking ourselves. What's working if something came up on your what's working list. Keep doing that thing. But if you've been trying something over and over and it's not getting any better then it's not working and you need to do something different. I cannot tell you how many times. I've heard women talk about this. In relation to a health journey a million a billion this exact line. They'll say. Oh h i know exactly what to do if i want to get healthy. I know exactly what to do. And i'm like no no no you don't you don't know what to do because if you did you'd already be doing it. See we think. Let's use the example of a health journey when a woman tells me that what she's actually saying israeli till i know exactly what to do to go on a crash diet which she's actually saying is i know exactly what to do to abuse my body so that i'll lose a ton of way but then immediately gain it back. You don't know what to do because if you knew what to do you know holistically you know the rituals and the habits that you would need you know the mindset to love yourself well you know all of it not just a few simple techniques that will get you a very specific result that you won't ever keep up with because it's too intense. We do this in all the areas of our lives right. Like in business like oh. I don't exactly what to do to make more money. Okay you know exactly what to do to make more money in a way that alienates your customer base and pisses everybody off and loses what could sustain you for a while you know techniques. You don't know the whole thing so if you think in your mind right now that you know exactly what to do to get to this goal but you actually aren't making traction than i'm here to love you enough to tell you that you don't know and the beauty of remember. We talked about understanding where we've gotten off. Course the beauty of understanding that you don't know means that you can look for the answers every single thing every single thing that you wanna do know understand it. All exists books at a library. Podcast youtube videos. Anything that you want to know better. It's there so if you haven't gotten the solution if you're not living the life you wanna live yet then start to explore how you could try something different and then when you see an idea try it crazy. I know. Try it consistently for two weeks. See how it does if you get traction keep doing that thing if you don't try something else if that doesn't work try something else if that doesn't work you try something else. You have to keep trying things until you see what works for you. I do this in all different areas of my life. I'm constantly trying to understand like okay. We'll this supplement. Make me feel better. Like how about for this sleep pattern. How about this pursuit in my business. How about working from home. How about having some days in the office like i'm constantly tweaking to try and see what feels better for me and it can be the same for you..

"Let's talk about what's not working. Okay we how low moment for the people who are killing it or the area for life where it's feeling really good and honestly if you get super laser focus on the thing that's working and try and grow that exponentially that is actually the most effective tool and getting you closer to where you wanna go see what we tend to do especially here in the. Us is. I think that we approach goals. Business life the way that we were taught to approach grades in school growing up when you are you come home with a report card and you have like three. As and two bs and a d- what do your parents talk about the d. And what do they get you to focus on. And what do they want you to to talk to the teacher about. And what do they get you a tutor. For suddenly everything becomes about the d- it becomes about the grade that you got. That wasn't good. Everything we're taught is about how to improve the area of weakness instead of how to focus on the strength instead of going like dang. You got three as over here. These are really your subjects. How do we get you a tutor. In the thing that you're already killing. How do we help you have exponential growth in this area of your life. So that's actually the most effective thing you can do at a check in is. Ask yourself how to how to do this thing so much better but we have to also talk about what to do for those of you for me for anybody. Who's taking on something new where you're like i am. I suck like this sucks right now. I'm not doing anything the way that i want to okay. Great let's dig into that most of the time when someone gets to like a mid year check in and they're not feeling proud. They're not feeling like they're where they wanna be. The word that i hear most often is stuck like h. I feel stuck. I mean this is one of the things you heard me talk about with alicia is. She's taking on this great new goal for herself. She quit her job. She's dreaming of something bigger and she feels like without the guardrails without the process associated with her old job. She feels lost. She feels stuck. And if that's you. I wanna start here but are you really. Are you really stuck or are you being hard on yourself. Let's figure out the difference. I wanna ask if you're really stuck if you're really not producing if you're really as far off course as you think you are. I know how hard i can be on myself. And if your in my inner circle. I'm guessing that you can be pretty hard on yourself too and that negative self talk in. The back of our mind can start to tell us all the ways that we should be pushing harder doing more achieving better blah blah blah and. So this is again. Why i love a journal is because i feel like if i can see things written down then i can sort of see the truth so what i would love for you to do is take an empty page in your journal and this is some of the pause this and do now. This is something that you can take on later but to ask yourself. What have you actually done like. And i don't mean like what have you actually done. I mean no. Give yourself some freaking credit right now. Like what if you're done in the last six months. What have you done the last nine or the last year. I am positive that i was still sitting here with leash right now and i was like okay but tell me all the things that you've done in the last five weeks since you left your job. She'd have a whole list right. Just the same as you would have a whole list to how you have worked toward this goal that you have for yourself for this life that you wanna have and sometimes those will be big things right and sometimes we'll this we'll be tiny baby things but you are doing something and i just want you to give yourself some credit because i found over time that many women many women and i'm sure some into are taught to achieve through shame right like we learn this with health with our bodies with way with all of these things where it's like. Oh you're wrong. You're wrong in all of these ways need to make change and so we're going to keep telling you how wrong you are and that's going to be the motivation that you need to do the thing that you want to do and it can work and it does work and it's super fucking toxic and terrible. It is so terrible for our motion. State are mental state. I feel like it. Trickles down with each generation. We ended up giving that garbage to our kids. Like it's the worst you can create through through a lens of shame or you can create through a lens of celebration and love and honoring yourself. So i want you to ask right now. That's what this practice is about is just like well. What have i done even if they did it. And it was stupid and it didn't get any closer. At least i did something. So give yourself some credit. The goal that you're working toward right now or this thing that you want to achieve just asking like okay. What have i done. Fill a page and whenever do this kind of sort of free flow. I try and set a time on my phone. So i'll say like okay. I'm gonna write for ten minutes. I'm going right for twenty or thirty. Or whatever. And i'm not gonna stop until the timer goes off and i'm just going to list out everything that i can think of and when you get to however many things you list i want you to just sit for a minute in like you know what yeah i showed up and i didn't always get it right and it didn't always work out perfectly but i have showed up for this and i've been trying and i'm sitting in this class. You were here with me right now. Because you have made a commitment to keep trying and to be strategic about it and to make better choices so start this process by honoring yourself and what you've already done. That's what i mean by. Are you really stuck. Because most of the time when i think i'm stuck i'm actually just moving at a pace that slower than i'd like. Let me say it again for the people in the back. Whenever i think i'm stuck typically. I'm just moving at a pace. That is slower than i'd like and the reason. I suspect that it may be similar for you. Is because i attract the same kind of people right like meaning i attract people who have goals i attract people who have dreams i attract people who want to be a better version of themselves and that kind of person is hard on themselves and want things to move at a faster pace so before you start. This litany of lego thug. No thanks no really.

"A pro is truly a pro. He commands at offense. He commands respect. And quite frankly, I'm getting a lot of across from the park. Rach. How about that? I mean, that's a guy's sound like that's great. I mean, that's a guy who's as he said he played with Aaron Rodgers for seven years, and he's not saying he's Aaron Rodgers right now. But when you hear the traits mentioned and how they kind of allied it, man and I go back to what Zach has consistently said about this, and he calls it earned respect. You know this. There's some guys who come into the league and they get everything thrown their way, you know, and they haven't earned it. What impresses me is, Zach had said that line very early in. The players have backed it up, Joe. It's not something there freely just saying we need to say it to prop him up there, saying it in reaction to what they're actually tangibly seeing in Joburg, and I love that. All right. Well, I mean, look, Mike Mike Daniels has been league what 78 years and he's not gonna be forced to say anything. And in most of time, veterans are very, very reluctant to say anything good about rookies. Just because you know again, they haven't proved much so for himto. Again. He's not going to be forced to say that before himto through that kind of praise out there, I think speaks a lot. Here's another one. Here is the head coach Zach Taylor on his impressions of Joe Burrow to this point. You know, he still got a lot to learn and haven't pointed game yet, but it's certainly exciting. When you see a guy who's approach is a good as you've ever been around that. That's what you wanted to coach. You want guys that love ball of talking about ball but also have that right balanced where they're fun to be around there, you know, the teammates enjoyed been around on the coaches being around him. They certainly have that edge to him in the right moments to kick everybody in the button getting going and so that that's a fun, fun type of person to be around. We got a lot of those guys in the locker room right now. Look, I love that He loves ball, and he's got an edge. There's some, you know, and I'm looking for specific names. But there some guys who come to the league and they've got their signing bonus and they think they've arrived. I like the fact that Joe Outwardly is showing his passion for football. Yet the edge the ability to kick somebody in the butt if they needed. I just I mean, that's from the coach who who he's got to be delicate and how he handles it. But you could even tell Zack But when he says as good as he's been around as a coach in college and pro ranks, that's huge Praise Lance every year when we do the draft, and you asked me about what a coach's look for in a player. They're considering a draft and what's my answer? Always. It's number one guys who love football that that's what the number one question these coaches asked, because above all the The measurables and the stats and all those sorts of things in this league is hard. It's hard. It's long. You're going to get injured, and if you don't love football, you're not going to make it very long. And by all accounts, Joe Burrow doesn't just love what football brings him. He actually loves the game and that's Tio. Just start right there with that bass. I mean, well, you could go a long, long way. Here's one more We heard from a teammate we've heard from the coach is here from Joe himself on what it meant yesterday when he was named one of the captains by his teammates. You know, I was one of my goals coming in. I really didn't expect to be a captain. But, you know, I couldn't be happier to represent our team in our offense. You know, we have a lot of guys that that could have been up there. But I'm happy that my team decided that I should be the one to get that honor of great people around me. Great coaches that have prepared me to play this game and Great players around me that I feel very confident in my job is just to get them the ball in space with timing and accuracy and let them do the rest. Rock. There is there's a presence there a reflect a deflection of praise to everybody else. Who's helping him and I know presence is an overused word. But Joe every time I hear him talk I Since he gets it, he's aware of what he's saying how it's going to sound and he's just it's it's It's really it. Doesn't you some guys that they say it, you say nice fake line. How long you been thinking that I just get the sense he's he's the real deal. From that standpoint, you get the sense Lance that he knows that he's the most important person in that building him. He how he plays determines the fate of literally everybody else from the coaches. To the last player on the team to the grounds for everything right and he gets a understands the gravity of that, and I think he fully accept that responsibility. But he realizes that this is a big Is a big job, and he's got to be calculated in what he says and how he says it be particular about every single thing, he says, and does, And I think that's important. He's the leader of the franchisee. Your quarterback has got to be AH, buttoned up guy. I just I, your wide receiver could be flashing and say a bunch of nonsense stuff. But you're in my opinion. Your quarterback can't and so far he he's not been that guy. Let's do this. Take her first time out, would come back. Let's talk about some of the obstacles now and and and what the outlook. It is for this offense and and what the challenges are for this offense so far getting to this point and going forward. We've got a lot to deal with. Were on this show is so big. "F M W 233 G Cincinnati. So here's the deal. Rach is, you know, I live in a quiet, middle class community correct close to here, and there's sides popping up for the last month, black lives matter. And they've been in the same location. And I assume they're saying that all black people matter Of course they do. They don't talk about the agenda of black lives matter, which is to kill cops. Dallas. What do you want Dead cops and we want him now open borders preparation reparations. A guaranteed monthly income. I hope they don't mean that. But not the last black lives matter the signs of it up for a long time. Nothing happened about three nights ago. A bunch of those living in around Miami. Evan, who put up signs saying We support my dear police, they're all a bunch of signs, which pub and then immediately the facing of those signs began with spray painted BLM. On the sign saying We support police and one of the guys, I won't mention his name. He's a private kind of a guy says this to me. Really? This is landscaper. I won't give his name that lives in mid air on my man. You and Penny walk by my house Hundreds of times. I have one of those signs in support of Madeira police officers. It was vandalized two nights ago it made me I won't use his language sick that BLM has any credibility at all. I already told him of their cops, my feelings for them and how much I appreciate what police do. I will Defend my property and my family of any idiot shows up. They vandalized. Anything of mine again. Also notified Madeira place that I would be detaining anyone caught on my property, vandalizing it. And I'm thinking ST Louis a little Louis. This makes me sick. In fact, about this one. I actually put up a sign last night that reads $100 reward If anyone gives me the name of the person vandalizing my property. I've decided to take the high road and not draw attention to my property. By removing the sign many of the size, we're simply removed. But this guy is taking a stand, saying I will defend my property. Now. What advice would you give Ed? Who's last night? I won't give out who's going to defend his property against BLM. I want to check the laws and see what the higher law is. And that sort of things with local law enforcement says as well, But I mean, like, that's what you're seeing with the cries of If on the police and the fact that unfortunately, police are labeled wrong, no matter what they do, therefore they're not incentivized to do their job by the people that are in charge of what they do. Some people. Would you pull out your chair? 15 like the McCloskey's did And the facts weren't reported by ABC or NBC, which is private property. Private Dr Diane Gate, knock down, which is a crime to thousands of dollars or the damage criminal trespass, criminal damaging. Threats were going to kill. You were going to kill your wife going to kill your dog. At that point, McCloskey one inside an attorney, You know America's blessed by having many attorneys He came out with an AR 15 and now the female black liberal prosecutor that Joe Deters of ST Louis County is threatening to file charges against the McCloskey for racial intimidation. But most of people marching were white. The only thing that I saw they did wrong in the video was the woman pointed the gun at you shouldn't do that. You should not point the gun, but you could now have the gun with you. And I think that sends a message. Now the end the day It worked right? They didn't get their house broken into that didn't get there. Probably vandalize so and no one got hurt Private. What would you do? Out there in front of Ponderosa out there in Harrison. What would you do? I'd defend my prime battery. I would plead that folks. Look, Let's just have this conversation. Another time. Let's go down the street. We can settle this, but You can't you're not going to break into my property, and I think for AA lot of people listen to this program, and he said I'm a supporter of black lives matter. He's an attorney defending someone hurt by ST Louis police come. McCloskey isn't exactly around the enemy is not the time with you, but I'm not gonna let you Great. My wife killed my daughter and to face my property. That's ah has a reasonable Position. What would you do if you were Ed? I don't think I would have. I would brandish a weapon. But what I make it known that I would protect my family and my property. It'll cost yes. And will these colors more of the radical left? You're gonna have black lives matter, signs up all over the place, and nobody touches him. But if someone has an opposite political view, it is two faced immediately by the left. I should should be condemned on both both ways. You should be able to face any sign specialists on public property. Get to face any signs whether you agree with the sign. I shouldn't be. I would I wouldn't. I'd say Let it go. That's part of the beauty. That's fair. That's reason. What about the McCloskey so they're going to face. More difficulties and move out. I mean, right now, I think so. I worked right. They didn't get their property broken into. Yes, like in Bethel. Bethel's another hotbed of black lives, matter. Activism, quiet community You've been left alone. I I think I've driven through it. Two stoplights..

"Time you have Zoom Cau- or you got to get on the phone with someone that you know is going to be negative. Hey this is a great opportunity for me to not let this person make my energy slump. What does it make your own weather? Oh Oh what's his name. Hold on a minute was asking you. What is his name? Hold on Stephen. Covey Stephen said Kerry your own weather meaning doesn't matter someone else's in your and they sort of got that rainy cloud over their head. You get to decide. What the weather is you get to decide? If it's sunny so carry your own weather. All right Allie is asking. What's your best advice for? Essential workers who are working crazy hours but still want their personal growth journey to continue. I used to work out every day to do meal. Prep haven't been able to because of my work schedule Man. Well it's like I love that you're so reaching for this idea of growth. I think it just has to him. I have to come. You might have to just choose one right like it's it would probably be very difficult with as many hours as you're working and as much stress as going on for you to still do all the things you are doing like the meal. Prep and the working out in the whatever. So what would it look like for you to just pick one thing? Remember your core value. What really matters to you that you can effectively control so my gut says if I had to pick one thing for you. I don't know what you do but if you're an essential worker I'm wondering if that means that you're doing a lot more physical activity than you normally do so like our nurses are doctors people at Grocery stores. They're just literally moving a lot more. So if I choose something for you I would choose that meal prep. I would make sure that you're getting that great nutrition. That is so important. That's going to keep you healthy. Make your immune system strong. Make you feel really good. Like that's I would choose one thing. So it'd be like having to get my nutritionist water. You're not doing a lot of physical activity. Maybe that's the thing that you choose but just choose one because that's the you can effectively carry out and the traction of that for you meaning. I can do this consistently on talk about this but I can do this consistently over and over and there's value in this for me instead of trying to do all the things trying to one thing in In the next ninety challenge this next week we're talking about the essentials and one of the things in the coaching. That comes out on Monday morning. I end up talking about this idea of frontloading and so if in the midst of being an essential worker where your ability to make good choices good choices in real time when the circumstance of your day maybe leaves you emotionally fatigue to make great choices. If you're able to on a Sunday on a Saturday make some decisions about meal. Prep make some decisions about the kind of things that you'd like to have happened. Maybe engineer the possibility of them being thing that you can do i. I tend to agree though in like not trying to do everything because man grace but also if you do want to try and accomplish more of the things on the list maybe planning for them in an objective environment. That isn't like overwhelmed with what you're actually experiencing on Thursday after a long shift helps in a little bit of all right. Joe Lynn Joe. Lynn Jolan Gerald. This is exactly what our show would be like us man. Where are the network people? What's network What is the one thing? Rachel and Dave have learned in quarantine will continue to bring into their life out of quarantine. What popped into my head I was. I had no idea that I was capable of getting myself into the physical shape that I'm in right. That is true. I could do a push up right here I want. I mean we can tab I mean still and I don't say that in a like Ooh look at me but I my whole life. I think I've probably had a bit of a limiting belief that in order to be super fit that you had to have a trainer that you had to do certain things in order for that to be true that like you needed someone else to help you and obviously gone on the journey with running and I've gotten but we have taken on doing more physical longer workouts more because we're building up for the APP which you're GonNa hear about a minute but also because it's that or drink I'm GonNa just be straight up with you. I'm either going to work out more. I'm GONNA drink more and we know one of those is good for me one of those. Not and so I'm I'm blown away. You can hear getting close girls this guy. You can't see what's under this shirt and you're not you're not allowed to. That's that's for me in the Lord. But here's the thing he put on that tank top the other day you know the muscle tank. That's in the shop right now and I was like what is happening to your body. I don't even know his body did things. It's doing blush. No I mean I'm blush I that's not what you wanted. You wanted like closer to God. But I'm closer to Dave's picks the the thing that I the thing that I will say that I hope more than anything. I think we've been afforded this gift of what doesn't matter because so many things that I thought mattered Maybe they still matter week to maybe they matter that a little bit less than week four here. We are weak seven. They don't matter and so what I want to stay connected to and remember as things come out of you know we're gonNA come into a new normal. It's not gonna be the old normal but as we get into whatever the normal is. I want to stay connected to the things that no longer matter. Goodbye I am free. I hope everybody is able to connect to that too all right last this last question. This is the last question it's in red. Alright Schuyler is saying what tips do you have to keep your energy up at home so okay? I'll talk a bit more about this in my afternoon. I'm GonNa talk about consistency too. But five to thrive. If you don't know what are five to thrive is please be part of our next ninety day challenge. It's totally free. The HOLLIS GO DOT com slash next nine zero super easy. The five to thrive or these five things that we do every single day. Drinking Water Practicing gratitude. Those are really helpful but a couple of things one. We're doing five four three two one. We're doing this like instant energy bursts throughout the day. Thirty seconds of dancing if you set an alarm on your phone hello if you said an alarm on your phone every hour to just you hear that alarm. Goff and you're like five four three and you go right for thirty seconds that will help to keep your energy up. Also the biggest thing you really want to know is what you're eating. What you're eating right now is so there's so much in what you're eating that is going to give you energy or deplete you. Are you eating things that are spiking your blood sugar? And then you're having a huge crash. You feel like you need caffeine like there's so much there's a billion books on this you can look it up. Really good nutrition make sure staying hydrated making sure that you're getting sleep and then actively that's why I've been wearing a pedometer. This is not an Apple Watch. I'm not that fancy it's just a pedometer. That counts my steps. And if I don't move for an hour just will buzz on my wrists literally. Send up at my desk and like do something right so you think is a good one of the best years. I mean I just being able to get a sense of normal every once in a while has been something that helps me feel a certain way which keeps my energy up so like I'll go on a ten minute drive which is not alone alone but just like get in the car drive for ten minutes. Have the music playing the window down. I have sunflower seeds for some reason that makes me feel normal and in like having that experience it grounds being like. Oh everything's GonNa be okay. I feel normal again. That's one the habit stacking thing has been a big thing Every single so I'm drinking like hopefully everybody else's their body weight body weight nance water trying to go for a gallon and a half a day. I drink a Lotta water. I have to go to the bathroom like you all the time and I've decided that every time I go to the bathroom I am going to do. Twenty push ups before I wash my hands. The floors dirty. My hands are dirty dirty. Wash your hands. But there is something in just physically exerting myself every hour or so that keeps me feeling energized. I'm don't even like to go to the bathroom anymore because I know I gotta do. The Dang push but when I literally like got to the bathroom because I'm GonNa do my push ups. Yes but that's also six. I was only going for one pack. You can have both. Who Knew pushups? All right. Ladies and gentlemen I think that's the end of our Q. and A. Is that really the end of our and then we're going to be back in just a few minutes. I honestly if you have ever pushed a baby out of your body right now. Is the time to go. Use The restroom because Chris and I are going to kick your butts with an at home workout when we come back at your heart's ready you will pay your pants a little bit. It's just fine So go you've got just a couple of minutes to go get your life right. Drink SOME WATER. Say a prayer. Whatever and then meet back. We're GONNA do a workout and then we're going to finish this day. Strong stay with us. We still have Eric Thomas. We still have John Maxwell. I've got to keynotes coming in for you. Jen Hat maker talking about. We're GONNA talk about consistency. We're talking about leadership. We're going to talk about parenting so many great things. We'll see in just a few minutes guys. "Nick. Nick Okay I got a call you out neck because if you have a the idea that you're made for more it's in a specific area. What the if my gut right now. If I'm looking at this right now my gut is like you know what you're called to do but you're embarrassed to put it out there. You're like you're really into make to oriels. You're really into playing guitar. You're really into anime. You're really into like you're like I have the calling to do to talk about this thing that I care about but nobody's going to care about this thing that I care about or I'm going to try it and I'm GonNa suck at it right so I want to challenge you a little bit. Oftentimes people who get this question a lot. That's why I'm pushing back on. You is people are like. I'm called for something but I don't know what it is and then I keep unpacking packing packing and it's like well. What they really want to do is start on Youtube Channel where they play fortnight and they videotape themselves. But they're like but that would be stupid. I'm like there's a Jillion people who are super into the thing that you're into an even if only four of them likes the content that you were putting out it would serve a purpose and it would make your heart happy. And there's a twelve year olds right now. We're making of dollars. Doing the thing that you think is stupid so either that you think the idea that you have doesn't have value and let me just dispel that right now. It does because it has value to you or I will tell you the for the ven diagram of diagrams. What is the thing that you have personal passion for? What is the thing that you are really great at? What is a thing that brings needed light to this world? And what is the thing that you can actually make some money at and if you were to draw circle draw circle circle and find a place where those four things come together that has for me been a way to try and follow that for unlocking something that? I'm great at that. I love that helps other people and then I can make some money at. Yeah ALL RIGHT NATALIE ASKS. What is the balance of being an overly positive person? In this time we're positives can seem insensitive. Well I think it's more about how you push that positively out into the world. I think it feels insensitive. When you don't have empathy for the fact that other people have circumstances where they don't have the opportunity to practice the positivity that you do so I think you should for yourself always be as positive as you are and live it out because that is your truth but I do think that we have to temper some of that right now because there are people that are hurting. And I'm sure that you know people in your life who are but if you don't then I'll tell you twenty. Two million people filed for unemployment in the last four weeks. Thirty and thirty million people filed for unemployment and there are people who are sick. There are people who are scared. There are people who are struggling financially. And so I think that the positivity for you Natalie needs to come from a place of like here are the steps that I'm taking to hold onto this belief. And here's it's not the sort of like blind like it's all going to be okay. We're going to be fine nothing. 'cause that's not real the reality is it won't be okay every for every single person so I would cling to more like when I talk about my own positively and I've gotten push back for that especially in this season. My thing is I don't have a choice. I cannot put my head under the covers. I can't hide away from this. I can't ignore what's happening. I have a team who is counting on me. I have children who are counting on me. I have a partner that counting on me and so if I'm going to have to show up my nature and the person that I am is going to show joy that's who I am. I am a Pollyanna. I look for the positive in every situation. That is who I am but I wouldn't go Necessarily push that into other people's faces. I would try and do it with with thoughtfulness. Casey is asking. What is your piece of advice for someone that can't live their life to the fullest because of family pressure to be someone else. Stop it here. We go me my advice for every person it sounds like Casey. You're asking me permission to be who you are and so if you need me to give you permission to be who you are here it is. You were made exactly as you were made for a reason. I believe that your Creator made you exactly this way for a reason and every single day that you don't live into that truth is not only denying who you are but is also denying who your. Creator made you to be and you know. I put a post up the other day on instagram. That might be something for you to check out but this idea of Not everybody will support us through every of our journey and that's okay because we are all on different journeys and that means even family right even family sometimes and for different reasons where even our family has not understood choices that we've made or you want to move to Texas or like all sorts of things that have we've got negative push back and I certainly if you have never had a chance to read girl apologizing. I certainly lived a double life for a very long time where I am a very ambitious person. I love my work. I'm so proud of what we've done at Hollis Co but if you had met me at a party eight years ago and asked you what I did I would be like. Oh I'm I'm a blogger like I would never have told you what I had accomplished done because where I come from good girls. Don't Sir Companies? Good girls aren't CEO. Good girls don't do those things and so I lived kind of this half life for a very long time and I can tell you Casey. It's not easy and it's not to say that you will have all the support when you make the decision to be yourself but it is the most freeing experience in the entire world and not only that your possibility your potential your world will explode. When you have the courage to be who you are I will. I will just say I left a thing that identity wise my circle my family. Every person has friends had a lot of value assigned to and so when I decided to leave sales at Disney to come do this work with Rachel. If I'd pulled every one of them not one person would have said Yep. That sounds like a good idea. It wasn't that they weren't interested in me having a full of life. It didn't make sense to them. Because what I wanted to pursue lived outside of a framework that they were still living in of and I will tell you the legacy of the rest of my life is being written as of two years ago when I die they will not even mention the fact that I spent twenty years in entertainment. They will talk only about what started when I was forty three years old. Go right your legacy tastes. All right Taylor is asking. Do you have advice on when returning back to work? And being around negative people once more I'm thriving in my own positive energy so man. This is a good one right. We've talked a lot about having to walk into situations with family or friends that we knew were going to be negative. What do you call it? The vacuum shock who shop vac of good shops sack of targets. Where you go into room and someone sucks all of the joy out of everything We have some of those people in our life because we're related to them not because we chose them but we have to be mindful of that so we literally will have their times. They've gotten out of the car at Thanksgiving and we'll literally like high blood. Come on come on. We'll have you up like football. Players will like jumping down. And we're like come on because it's a real thing I'm not kidding. That's why I teach you guys to do five four three two one and change your energy and change your mood because there's something that happens when you are physically preparing yourself to walk into a space with people that you know are going to have some negative attitude because it is real and you do have to control that energy. Maybe it's something that you practice right now while you were in quarantine the next.

"I'm glad matching your job in this year suggested fee moderate to this portion of the question answer period. I will be asking reach will be answering. Leeann asking. I would like to know how Rachel is handling workloads with their team. We have a tough environment of new challenges and lots to do but many people and are less productive with young children. Staying at home. Yeah my workplace is saying the right things but then in practice asking for a lot from us. I'd love to know how the company is managing this. I think we can both speak to this right now. That first week Lianne. We made the decision to go virtual. That was pretty. Freaky was pretty scary. We'd never done that before. And actually there's a really good podcast that I did with Amy Porterfield from that first week because she has only ever had a team that is virtual. So in that podcast. She talks through the best tools an tactics and things that so that might be helpful for you but I think for us. It's like get your work done is kind of the goal is like okay. We know we have a lot of people on staff who have young children. And I'm like I am not asking you to put an eight hours right now. There's not even a way that I could make sure that you're doing that. But it's can you handle the workload? That's in front of you and Frankly. I don't care if you do it in the morning before the kids wake up and then we don't hear from you until after they go to sleep is just. Can you continue to do that thing? And if you can't cool just over communicate is our role over communicate where you are and what you need to do so that we as leaders can help you if you need. Help one of the gifts of one of the gifts of this Quarantine that will be a long-lasting thing that we look back on five years from now and say man. That was a game. Changer is how systems being put in place because of the disconnected nature of our team are allowing for Communication Accountability and productivity. So Asana as a thing that we're using as a tool. It was a thing we were using. But not as religiously as we're using now so finding some kind of framework to actually organize what you're going to assign what needs to be done to certain people. And then hold them accountable. Yeah has been really good point and I would say also why it works are not an ad but we do love us on. It's been really helpful for us. Because every single person on our staff has objectives that they're working toward and we can really easily see where they are without objective. So that's why I don't like if you're a spending the day with your kids and yes you should because you have a two year old who needs you will then. Oh my gosh go do that. And as long as that objective gets handled. That's all the matters all right. Janine is asking Rachel. What are some strategies for caring for home? Educating due to cove nineteen and empowering for kids she has nine six four and two. That's a close span. Well working a fulltime job managing household and trying to be an intentional wife and partner. Step it chess. No I mean like I love you Janine and I love this like intention behind trying to be the very best version of you. This is not a season where you try and be all things to all people. This is not a season where you're like mom and I'M GONNA learn to be a teacher and I'm GonNa do this work that I'm supposed to do and I'm going to clean house. I'm GonNa like all of that. This man it's amazing but you're do you're you're being asked what's being asked of most of us right now is to do more with less resources so I would say it's like Dave talk earlier. What are those beliefs that you have? What are those core values that you hold as a person or as a family? Those are the things that matter and everything else can follow. I was talking to Anna one of the women that called in yesterday. I was talking to her about She's like how but what if the kids and they're not the and I'm like look I can't I just can't I can't and I'm not going to try and turn myself into someone that I'm not right now because that's GonNa make me miserable and bidder and it's going to hurt us and it's going to hurt my baby so I have to stick with what our core values and if that means that they get extra screen time right now like they do so the first thing I would say is just to be graceful and then the second thing is when you're looking for strategies only look for strategies that help you accomplish those core values better. Not How do I do everything better? But if one of your core values is man I really do care about their nutrition. I WANNA make sure that they're still eating right. And whatever else will then great look for tactics around how to do that really really well start one thing. You didn't ask but self care has to be number one priority period because you can't do any of the things on that list if you weren't taking care of yourself I it is not selfish. It is a requirement to be able to show up well for every other person that had an list. Tammy Tammy Tammy says. My event designed business. That is all conferences and large events is all canceled and postponed. I had a passion for education so I'm Building Education Platform PODCAST courses coaching. What are some of the things I can be doing as the COO of my company to get back going in this new way with my team? So Cami I think you're asking. How do I implement like I've decided you've decided to pivot because you have to? That's what you're doing is later. You've decided to pivot and so I think what you're asking is. How do I get the team to pivot with me? So I'll tell you guys the very first week We went into we went into working. Virtually and then the next Tuesday which is when we have our all hands meeting. We came together for Hokkaido. Combo and I was just like here. Is the plan now. Normally we function as a team as more of a like. What are you guys think? Let's come together. Let's brainstorm no not in crisis in crisis you become something that's called a peacetime general like you`re. The general of the troops in peacetime is very differently than a general of the troops in wartime. And so for me. I'm like wartime general. This is a crisis. Nobody gets an opinion here seriously. That's how I came out. I was like these are five core objectives. These are the only things that we do at this company right now if you did not work on these five things before guess what you just got a new job. This is the only thing that we are going to do. Because if we don't focus if we don't get intense if we don't let go of everything else that we were working on and grow as quick as we can in terms of revenue and cash flow right now. We WON'T EXIST SO NOBODY. I wasn't rude. I hope that I was like motivational about it. But I didn't I had it all mapped out so there would be no questions. I was just like. This is what we're doing a lot of the people who helped pull this together. We have people here like customer service. We have people from all different departments who've never worked on anything like this before but they were on the task force that went against this objective. So I came up with five objectives to our company I built five different task forces around those five objectives and we moved and we move fast and it has line to be clear to be kind. I mean like Rachel was very very clear but also in like being honest about what was happening painted. A picture of hope you have to be able to hold like this is what is happening. Why what is happening is hard but also this is actually the way we're we're going to get to a place that is going to make this for us and not something that compromises us. Yeah and I think as a leader I take all talk about this later Makino but I take very seriously the responsibility of leadership and feeling like it's not their job to worry. I never want my team to worry ever and so I had to be able to speak truthfully to them about what was happening but also in a way that was like we're going to be fine. You if you listen if you work with this plan if you help us move this forward we will all be fine because we will all take care of each other but I also had to be very honest about what we were looking at like. Y'All have to understand that things are shifting and changing and that means less money coming in and if less money is coming in. What does that do for our team and so it's very honest about the ramifications of not doing what we were trying to do like. Hey guys if we don't make these moves if we don't go really hard and focus on things that serve our community in a new and different way we won't have as much revenue. If we don't have as much revenue. We could be fine. We can float for nine months but now much longer than that long. Is this going to last so so it was not done in a way to scare anybody but I was more honest about what was happening. I have been before for sure all right. Nick has a question I know in me. I made for more but I don't know what that is. I have dreams and I know I'd love to be on a platform helping others but I can't pinpoint what or where I will be doing it. Do you have any advice on helping me find out what it is that I meant to be doing.

Are Freddie Kitchens and Baker Mayfield Holding Back the Cleveland Browns?

"GonNa go right to the fourth quarter quarter with the browns so they're down for points and Baker Mayfield and the browns run a draw play on fourth and nine and not surprisingly they came up short short then late in the fourth Cleveland at another opportunity with the first and goal from the four yard line the browns called four straight past plays with the last one resulting in an interception from Baker. That is the game for the rams after the game coach Freddie Kitchen said he regretted the play calling late in the game but Baker said it was more than that take a listen. If you're looking blame somebody blame me. Don't blame me of our players. Don't blame any of our other coaches. Just blame me because I can take it all right. So you know just blindly go go rach article and say I must have game up. Go article and say smile faulted. Things not looking like it did last year because it is. I know what you guys are. GonNa try and do is talk about the playcalling they call him but I said executions the most important thing you know whatever whenever we have called we gotta do our job all right Shannon how much blame that does Freddie Kitchens deserve here. There's a lot of the blame because give the office coordinated the coach and he's the play caller. I Guess Bakersfield Dangerous yesterday. Did you wake feeling dangerous. Gear Alexa dangerous lately. He needs to feel the need to wake up feeling danger. Tennessee woke up feeling real dangerous and that they did. Did you know what skipped look. Freddie is learning that that's to wear two hats in the NFL gets a really hard job. That's why a lot of a lot of guys. Just give that up they either just keep the headset on so they can hear everything or they call you like Andy. Reid is very unique cow Shanahan and guys like that a very unique skipped dream to be able to call the plays and be a head cold but Freddie the the thing that's hurting frady is expectations afraid of the head coach last year if they didn't have these expectations but because of the way they played the close out the season yeah and now they add dale they will add alleviate Vernon they they get they get agreement. We've the draft you like who the brow and you see the subtractions in Pittsburgh. Maybe is no longer there. ABC's no longer there yeah yeah and then what week two bengals out so now that really ratcheted up taste so now everybody expecting the browns to be really really good look doc. That's why I say each year in of itself because last year has no bearing on this year and I think the browns players and and fans are starting to realize that Freddie is starting to realize the expectation that comes along with expectations. I'm the head coach because he didn't have a whole lot of experience calling rolling blades. He's never been a head coach so now he's the head coach which means he's the CEO of the operation but by the same token. He's got a call all the plays now. I don't know what the hell call now. If I didn't no but elsewhere Freddie Buffalo Wild Wings Buffalo Wild Wings coat the fourth and now you can't what the hell is that draw draw play on Yahoo. They were GONNA try to fool Agassi's pass. It got eight yards do remedy it was he ended up seven yards short. I was wondering if I was missing something watching. I'm like wait. Am I getting the goal. You got shows. You got nick. You don't give you one. Kerry now was a live. Let's put back and let's run. It is so you go so you got nick who you save or. I'M GONNA keep everybody happy. I'M GONNA get down. Here's Kevin Jarvis if Catcher Chila. It'll be thirty okay. You give make sure one crack please. okay okay scared. We're told you you keep trying to keep everybody happy to win. Games in everybody's going to be saying 'cause everybody because everybody's GonNa be safe because they nobody's gonna be getting their catches and you'll be losing games and you're going to be in a lose lose situation wages and you're going to be a part of their now that Jimmy and de Havilland. They look like hold on Okay John Dorsey now. We gave you everything everything that you want it. You got a quarterback overall. You got all these weapons. Jarvis Landry got a you got Joel hurt him but here's the things when you you made that trade y'all trash because you got the ninety nine deflategate boy human too. We're talking about the guy who had zero Saxon three the playoff games and it has zero sacks against the cowboys and the Guy who took the Cleveland browns cannot protect Baker Mayfield. They haven't for free games and the Rams took full advantage of that last night. What did I say Friday. Baker Mayfield is about to be in the wrong place at the wrong time against Wade Phillips defense offense that Cap Tom Brady and check for almost the entire super bowl. Am I right about you. Skip in another thing before I let you go. They traded their bust of Islam lobby. Get Out I'll be at the end of the day. You can have all the shiny pieces. You won't skill all these cashier that look nice. You better have a guard or to guard the money now. The money right now is six Baker Mayfield. You got a bunch of predate cashiers. You Got Jarvis and he got dale. You've got all that stuff. I did pillows but nobody protecting the money in his sketches for fifty six yards really the impact the game. Do you remember any of Nope. NOPE nope nope no so given that that was Wade Phillips Defense and right now. I think that defense is even a little better than then. Bill checks defense. That's how good it is because it has more star power to it because to leave did a number on Odell last night. I don't care what you say. You know. They'll get loose down on the field one time he had a nineteen yard catch. It didn't do much okay now back to Freddie Kitchens. I'm not sure he's going to last a whole year. I'm just not sure because bag years kept finding coach in the middle of the how I think it's it's just getting a little darker and darker in Cleveland because remember they have to go go to Baltimore next Sunday Baltimore better than everybody thought in there I think five point underdog there are five and a half actually five and a half point underdog so that the game you better believe believe it or the forty niners three and Oh yes they beffa movie bouquet. The next game is a Monday night game in Santa Clara against against the forty nine. It's Elizabeth game and then the seahawks visit. Seok student looked great yesterday but they did go to Pittsburgh while Rothlisberger played the first half right. They're capable of beating the browns right now because the browns aren't very good right now what if they lose those games and fall to one in six what's Jimmy Haslem going to do with the expectations -tations through the roof of them. He already got one coach. That's still on the pay. Roll can still play a huge. I I know you have another guy on the payroll. Just bring somebody else hears Freddie's problem after the game. He's adopted this new. Oh poor pitiful pitiful me philosophy where he just says you. I'll take it all you know. Get the lay it on me. Don't blame the players blame. Oh Freddie doesn't really look like a football coach. Does he looks more like an offensive line coach so he he doesn't look like the head coach doesn't look like he's in charge and after the Games he's kind of admitting yes screwed that one up and I screwed that go ahead just say well. If you invite the media to run through that door trust me they're going to run through it and trample on you because he is now the easiest target in the national football league. You WANNA blame Baker. Can you not really do you want to blame Odell. No not really how Jarvis no hell out him yes. Yes you know who I want to be right now. I build Danny Jones. That'd be real petty. Okay believe anything you say I'm just saying I can't believe that guy number one he could do that. I don't think he's built. He's built wake ain't skill but you know what I think. Cleveland's defense is really good remember that they had four subs playing in the defensive backfield last night. All four starters were out in hung in and did that I mean I guess why they did it to me. Jared Goff's overrated scale. He's overweight did everything he could. CLEVELAND WON'T DARWIN THIS GAME. How many times do you go on the road and turn it over three times and win the football game you tell me it was three to one and turnovers with l. A. Three to Braley won the Dow many times. Do you get away with them. That's the recipe you want. The best recipe the loser role game yeah. Turn it over thank you. They did that and they still won. One hundred ten million guaranteed right Jared Goff my money yup lots of money so back to quarterback. I love Baker Mayfield old. I'm sorry I got to tell the truth is having a hard time. He's starting to lose a little bit of nerve because he Bolton Fast Komo News. I gotta get out of here. I gotTA get out here. He needed to stand in especially on the goal line and just make one of those rows without looking over his shoulder. It's the Ford downplay. He bolts pockets so fast. I know the play hard off the right. I think yeah I think that's probably a dollar and that was that was ended up being a clay that end up being getting away with the thing is is that sometimes these quarterbacks they look in the bubble instead of stepping up. They look into get outside up that skill once you get outside. Guess what you're doing you telling the defense. Basically I got from the Hash to the side attitude rolling to the every once in a while. We'll talk about Lamar Jackson. You'll get away with a bail out with Obama did you. Did you know you don't make that. You'll go broke doing that. I would agree but Baker. Hey sometimes you gotta you gotTa Take

"I'm going to be too far away from that. Well, as long as the Rach ios can talk to each other. That's that's my point. Is that the Rach you don't have to talk to the wifi? The there's little sprinkler heads and so forth there talking to one another. They have their own. I'm thinking they have their own mesh network, but to verify that I would call the company because they have good support. But I my my sense of this my memory of this is and if somebody's got a system like this gives us a ring and confirm or deny, but my memory of this is you do have a control unit. That's the thing you control with your phone. You actually talking any individuals sprinkler head you're talking to the control unit that that will need to be near your wifi because you're gonna have now the phone is on the Cox, the WI fi talks to the network, then talks to the ratchet controller, but the controller talks to the individual units over its own mesh network. It's separate private network. That is not in fact. Act does not infect have to be within wifi range. It has its own network. As long as the units are close enough together. They can talk to each other. Okay. I'm sure they are because it's designed, and they're probably, you know, they're not at two point four five gigahertz probably at nine hundred megahertz, they're probably like a cordless phone network there. So that goes quite far. That's my guess. But again, I'm only guessing based on my experience with this as I said, I never tested. But once you you connect the controller to the WI fi, but the controller talks to the other devices via tone private network. And so you don't have to make sure that they're all within wifi range only that centralized controller. But I can't walk around the neighborhood with my smartphone and turn on I say. You want to? So I get it while you can because the so this depends on their software, many of these kinds of apps as long as you're on a network doesn't have to be your network a network of four G LT network from your cell carrier that then connects to the base unit on your home network. It's on the internet, and you control it via the internet many. And you know, that that works because if I know it does because I can turn on my Rach, yo from work. Right. So so your phone as long as your phone is within cell signal. Yes. He can then talk to the control unit at your home and turn on any sprinkler head. Okay. That makes sense. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Absolutely. Because that's that's what we have now. Yeah..

"And then the other thing I do is coating and all the coating I wanna do is much easier Lennox than windows windows, got off for coding, unless you're in less. You're writing dot net code, you know, but I'm not I have no desire to either. Yeah. Freebies these awesome. And I know that many of the developers use ThinkPad. I've just had a, you know, and with high PI displays a lot of new hardware. PC hardware that doesn't that Lennox handles, very, well, but. Haskell's nightmare and windows, but also racket and lisp like imacs for Lisbon, you know, lily maximum windows is a joke. Leo laporte. The tech guy. Eight ask Leo v phone number Jim on the line from Windsor, Colorado. Jim. All right. Let's talk to you. Glad to talk to you. Welcome got an unusual problem. Always worries me when I hear that I live in the neighborhood of about fifty houses, and they're all within about a two hundred yard radios. And I'm looking to see if there's some kind of a wifi transmitter that I can set up at one of the houses that I could pick up wifi from my smartphone anywhere in the neighborhood. So you'd like to wire the neighborhood is this something you're doing with your neighbors. You just for you know, not wire the neighborhood. I wanna be able to use my smartphone. Unwired the neighborhood. I guess well, okay. I should explain why. Okay. We've got we've got four we've got irrigation systems. And we have four separate controllers and each one guy maybe fourteen fifteen zones, and we've the we love these WI fi systems, but they require cell coverage. So we walk around with our smartphones. And we can turn on any zone from anywhere in the neighborhood. So we can a monitor their action, you know, and make sure they're working properly. But the cells have to be on the WI fi. Well, the way our we have a system in place. Now that's becoming obsolete. And this one is connected through servers somewhere. We suspect out in your state to this. So that we can operate it using our smartphones, of course, through the the sailor system. What do you have what do you have a Racha? What is it that you're using? Well, that's what we're looking at getting rich. Yeah. It's a different brand. And they're actually fairly familiar with the Rach ios. Okay. Okay. Looking at putting in four separate Rach ios because they're you know, the the the controllers are located. We would buy four new ones Rach ios install them in four separate locations in the neighborhood. But we need to be able around anywhere, and and you know, have access to the various controllers. So do we need to set up a a router near each controller? Or that? Another were the pride. This is. I think a question for Recchia support. And there by the way, they're very good. My guess is that only that the Rach ios communicate with one another on their own network. And that if you can talk to any one of the Rach ios. Actually, there's a control unit if you could talk to the control unit the control unit, we'll talk to the separate units on their own private network. That's generally how this kind of thing works because they understand that there's going to be a control unit near your home. But that the sprinklers and the units are going to be spread out over a larger area that may not be able to connect via wifi. Yeah. That's the way our present system works. Yeah. Branch in provide. I guess we should find out. Yeah. Whoever provided it, but I I'm guessing here because the system I have is all within my WI fi pretty much, but I'm pretty sure that I only need to be within WI fi of the control unit, and then it controls the other devices itself, they have their own private network. That makes sense. And so wherever you're going to have that control center. That's the one that needs to be on your wifi. But as we walk around that I'm going to be farther..

"That. And all the drug use the Kersee their years of the F word. The politicians in the Democratic Party for the most part are use these little spilt, the speech your children are there. They're listening to all this stuff. You're like what in the world? They're brutal. Not lovers up. The good treacherous Rach conceived lover's of pleasure rather than lover's of God. That's second. Timothy chapter three all the way. It'll be the last days. I'm looking around thinking, you know, maybe maybe this is the end of the line. If it gets any worse. I don't get any worse, y'all. Well, no. And I think one of the things you mentioned this. I believe it's in it's in chapter ten and actually nine and ten and talking about the role of the church in this country. And if you look at that same chapters. I know you have in verse twelve it says anybody everybody who chooses to live a godly life will be persecuted right right there in twelve not you might be you will. So that shouldn't surprise at your living that that happens in your life. But I think there's a fear. I thought about the other day where we're doing a bible study stadium. We're in we're focusing on finishing strong with some men who come here every Wednesday in one of the things, you know, when you say Paul he said that he fought the good fight. You know, what that tells us? It is a fine. And I think sometimes the church doesn't think that they should engage in a in a righteous fight. Meaning we shouldn't engage in any fight. And you're right. We shouldn't we shouldn't be persecuted because we're sanctimonious jerks, but we should be persecuted because of our devotion to Christ in our refusal to compromise Christ. And I think that the church is ready to they just want to get along and go along, and that is not the call of the church is trying to get the church to see nationwide. That you. God. One time a week that you go up there. And you worshipping you lead. You read that vomits twelve in of God's mercy is coming down in flesh dying person's being fair to raise from the day and our faith in that in that what he's done all for your bodies as living sacrifice hold place into God. Which is your spiritual act of worship. We have to understand that what we're doing right now on this telephone we are worshiping God for the ones who are listening. So what that guy saying?
