Woke Crowd Cries Racism After 'Slave Play' Tony Awards Snub
"For a theater geek like me like me. Last night was the like the super bowl because it was the tony awards. I've got a friend in moulin rouge actually a few friends in moulin rouge and moulin rouge the musical. The huge winner. I was really really excited for danny burstein. Zeya a new york actor. He had just a horrific year. he's one of the stars of moulin rouge on broadway. And he's been a broadway actor for and he and his wife. Rebecca luker a real beloved couple rebecca. His wife got ls and both of them got cove head and she died last december. This past december. So he's back on stage with moulin rouge. He won his first. Tony award very gracious speech. And there's a huge controversy about the play side not the musical side you got you got musicals and you got you got plays right and the play that was expected to clean up at. The tonys was a play called slave plane. I know people who saw it and said it was a incoherent mess. It's just. I don't even know what it's about something about. It's all woke stuff about race. It's race and sexuality and you know a lot of people. I know roy just didn't like it at all but you know the woke crowd of new york being the wo- crowd it was nominated for. I think i think twelve tony awards. It was completely shut out. It didn't win a single tony so now of course come the accusations that the tony select selection committee is racist. Because everything's got to be racist. Everything is a lack of diversity. Everything about And of course. New york's broadway community is about the most diverse community in the world. But it's not enough for the woke crowd
Rep. Chip Roy: Biden's Language on COVID Response Is Always About Others Than You
"Doing. So I've got it. We're gonna force the boosters. Soluble. They're going to force you to do And by the way, it's all purposeful to say it's to help other people because they don't want to make it about you. Because then it's about freedom for you to make a decision about a mask or about a vaccine for you or your loved one. No, no, they want to make it about. You must do that for the other people. Even though there's no science to back that up. We all know that you can communicate the dengue virus. Even if you've been vaccinated. Remember, they move the goalposts on that. Right. Originally, it was all Oh, no. Well, you know, it's going to protect you from being able to communicate the disease. No. Then they found out. That's not the case. So now there's a well you've got to do it just to make sure that everybody can be taken care of. It's absolutely outrageous. And the booster stuff in the FDA is particularly telling that you've got experts there that are quitting over it, and that they're voting against what Biden. He does because here's the thing Chip. You can support vaccines as I do and oppose tyranny. And that's the point they support tyranny. And support vaccines. We support vaccines and opposed tyranny now De Santis is even pointed out. I'm pulling this up now. Broward County. In Florida. The anti body doses are being were being distributed 52% of the patients and a whopping 69% of the patients over the age of 60 had been vaccinated. Yep. So yes, and and the sentence has said I recommend you get vaccinated. Yes, but it's not enough. I mean, I got to have these and I've got to have these therapeutics if I want to use them. And now they're cutting them off. And look and add on top of this. You know this? My dad had polio. Okay? And I love my watch My dad his whole life. I'm very pro vaccine for for when we know what it is, and you make a decision. That's good for you and your family. But if you've got natural immunity, there's evidence that maybe you shouldn't get it right. Or maybe you're think so. I think you're right.
Rep. Chip Roy Shares About Challenges Obtaining Ivermectin
"Air they, you know, we were able to get a prescription for dramatic. And and she was able to get it and go to the pharmacy near where we live in Texas, not far from dripping springs outside of Austin, and she sat there listening to him and the pharmacist behind the counter was arguing with the other pharmacist saying, Well, we can't fill this. What is this for? And then they interrogated my wife about what's this for this for Covid? My wife, France was. Does it matter? I have a prescription from a doctor and I want to get elected. And so ultimately they filled the prescription. But this is happening all over the country. The pharmacists are blocking the doctors. It's amazing, and they're and they're like this is all part of this overall campaign that is both purposeful by some and his stare ical by others, and it's the ones that are hysterical that are buying into the hype by the authoritarians in the tyrants in Washington. And beyond Washington, the academic set you know the smart blue check Twitter idiots on both sides of the aisle who know what's best for all of us, By the way, mark and tell us how to live our lives when we can go choose what's best for our family. Do you think I want anything to befall harm? To my 10 year old or 12 year old son, My 10 year old daughter. Hell, no right. I'm going to look out for them and what's best for them. I'm going to make decisions for them, but I can tell you what he forced vaccinations. To a 12 year old boy when there's myocardial research when we know by the way when family members have had the virus, we know that natural immunity is stronger, and Israel produces the studies, and we know that as a matter of scientific fact now
Rep. Chip Roy Reacts to Biden Withholding Monoclonal Antibodies From Florida and Texas
"Is even more horrifying And we have the Montgomery County judge here in Texas, which is near Houston. Who posted on Facebook yesterday, the day before. I'm not sure if you saw it where he right. He wrote out the 2000 Texans that were benefiting from the treatment that they had put in place to have a clinic or set up there to run these mono monoclonal antibody treatment. And it was successful. And this is where the vaccinated and unvaccinated and then now you've got the Democratic leadership in Washington coming in and saying no, no, no. We're going to step in and interfere with the market and create a problem that didn't really exist. And I look, I wrote a letter to the HHS on Monday, lighting them on fire about this and raising this issue up the flagpole and then load the whole We get 24 hours later, they were gonna have a briefing on Friday. We had that briefing today, Mark And I asked twice. I got cut off. And then I got back in Q asking a second time. Hey, how many, Uh, doses do you currently have a supply? How many can be made per month and what's the demand? You tell me the numbers. You show me how there's some massive national shortage that you've got to interfere, and they would never answer the question. Literally, he said. Well, we'll just have to get back to you. The numbers to wait you're stepping in and rationing care. Rationing what Texas can get, and you can't even tell me what the numbers are its political. They started off of saying seven states have 70% of the demand on this stuff and get never mind in January. It'll be 10 different states Mark because we know how this virus works. And yet that's what they're doing. It's political. It's purposeful and people's lives at stake. And they're doing it because they don't want to talk about treatment. Not just this. But after cork wine back when that was more effective. Let me tell you something about, uh Hattrick chloroquine. I've been taking that for months. Have heart disease and asthma. Has an harm me in any way.
Rep. Chip Roy Explains Biden's Open Border Harms Both Migrants and Americants
"Are coming into this country with all kinds of diseases. The CDC just said they expect potentially Measles to become a problem again as a result of people they're bringing in from Afghanistan who weren't properly vetted. Now we have 11,000 Haitians under a bridge in your state with 10,000 more behind them. What the hell is going on here? Mark. Good to be able to show as always. I mean, look, if you set out to harm the United States of America, I don't know how you could do a better job than the bite administration is doing and eight months that they've been in power. And what's amazing is is that they've taken something and they have found a way to actually harm migrants and then harm the bury people in our country that they're supposed to protect at the same time. While pretending it somehow compassionate and we now as you just said, we have 10 or 11,000 people in Del Rio, a $10,000 way Haitians. We have their FAA being told not to allow drones so that we can have new shots being Broadcast around so people can see it. We have 4000 people in a holding facility in McAllen, where the where there's still flowing through. We have an enormous number of people. 1.4 million Mark 1.4 million Who have been apprehended. That's the entire city of Dallas that have been apprehended this year. And of those about half a million, we know have been released. Several 100,000 are known gotta ways we have at least 800,000 people in the United States because of what's been happening and divide administration not only doesn't care It's willful. It's purposeful, and they're doing it in blatant disregard of the constitutional duty to defend the United States of America, they are failing to faithful sleep faithfully execute the laws of the United States. And I believe it's not only impeachable, but that now Governor Abbott in Texas ought to take this into our own hands and do what we need to do to secure the border. The United States
What is Self-Determination With Richard Ryan
"Conceptualization of self-determination. What is it you know before we get to the nuts and bolts of the needs in and the nuances of the theory quizzes. Talk about self determination for. Because i think that's an interesting in of itself of what does that mean among humans. What are we determining. Didn't some other terms like self-regulation self-determination is when you know what you're doing is something that you feel you're regulating and in other words that you're also a behavior that you stand behind or self endorse this is why it aligns with phenomenal logical view of self determination because when you act with self-determination. You're acting roy where you're willing to do it. And you do it volition lee and therefore you can be wholeheartedly engaged in what. You're up to in in kind of that. That briefest form self-determination is true volition true volition so there's a lot of things that can arise that can pull me away from a or even for me into thinking. I'm volition when i when i really don't. I'm fascinated with the phenomenon of colts. You know and i'm fascinated with the phenomenon of mind control So i guess you can have external coercion and you can have. You can have internal coercion. You know people with. Ocd people with lots of things a lot of competing you know. Psychopathology and things. That are their inner Taking them away from your higher self. So so i think that. And you're right you're right scott. Which is that. It's not parallel to the distinction between internal and external because you can have had her automous forces that are with it. you can have your own interjection. Have your own internalized. Stigma pressures biopsies that. Actually take you away from self determination. Tommy so the threats to autonomy are not just extra inter.

Don't Expect Netflix's Live-Action Cowboy Bebop to Be a Remake
"Today. I wanna talk about Some pictures came out little pictures. Some hot sexy picks some hot sexy people. A see you later space cowboy. Oh the net flicks live action cowboy bebop. I think it's probably the most anticipated. Anime adaptation for net flicks. We've seen in a long time. There was some buzz with some full metal alchemist. There are some buzz with death. No but i think a lot of people really excited particularly with john show being attached to the role also with the creator being attached to supervise and beat executive producer as well as the original composer for the music is going to make new new music for it and we saw the picture so it had some john show with the headphones in the in the blue with the yellow button up underneath it did at some black doing some cool action star pose but all the entire crew were faye. Valentine and i'm walking down a wet and then also some cool martial arts attacking the the wooden site anything. i think. Boxing of dummy dummy With john show and just all the ads and then another one from daniella pineda for her. Valentine holding a gun and then one of them on the chair inside their Their ship much famous poster. Yeah so i thought the internet was Quite excited for it from what i saw For me i roy's rather be optimistic and wrong than to be cynical and writes As much as i want. And i can expect certain things from certain franchises. I think not. Many people have found netflix adaptations of enemy favorable and it might fall into that same category. Who knows but it's kind of fun to live in this moment and have the curiosity as well as the excitement to just like it could be great. Who knows this could be wonderful and it. Might you know it could be hour long episode. I don't think we know that information yet but you know so far. It's like they look like they're trying to treat the source material very faithfully as well as adapt certain things to meet our modern. Like the things that we like. I don't know what to call it. Tastes are modern. Yes those really
Wagering Strategies in Final Jeopardy!
"Wanted to talk about a final jeopardy about a week and a half ago right. The one episode. You watch was officially. The season now is on august. Thirteen right right. And there's a guy who's been on it for a while. He's very good right matt man. Yeah it's very knowledgeable. He does rub you a little the wrong way people have. I'm okay twitter and stuff. Just his attitude and my girls don't like it because he never says what is or who is he always says. What's her who's funny. Because you know the answer is you know you can bet on that. He'll say what's you can bet on that. Okay just uses contractual uses contractual. It's he's very kurt me. Does it in his regular speech when he's talking to if you've noticed okay so it's just kind of his attitude. He's just an odd kind of character. Right well tell us about. This city's a bad guy. Okay just a little different to tell us about this final jeopardy you had some. I guess we're talking. But this is a gambling podcasts. Folks so there is some game theory here. maybe. I think you're gonna talk to them. Basically my point is. I'm talking about how emotion plays into how you risk. Okay and we all see that when we gamble when we play craps. I'm very emotional. You're less emotional but you know people are emotional. They even even on slot machines right casino kind of counts on that so sure they get somebody gets down and they'll pull out another hundred because they just sure they can get it back right in the next thing you know. They've lost four hundred instead of the two hundred that they thought they were gonna lose and the casino kind of on that but this episode at the end was particularly fascinating to me and my wife and our daughters we all four watched it and we talked about it for like a half hour after it in. Okay yeah well it came down to final jeopardy met the champion had twenty seven thousand two hundred dollars. Okay and then there was a lady and she had thirteen thousand six hundred so exactly exactly how going into final jeopardy. So that doesn't happen too right and she was actually a very good player. Okay she had actually been in the lead ahead of him at one point but then she got a double jeopardy question wrong and she lost a bunch of money and so she ended up with exactly. Half of the third contestant was virtually out of the pitch right he had like twenty four hundred dollars. He had a very small amount. I mean the only way he could actually win as if they both busted and that wasn't going to happen because then would would have to bet at all right now if you haven't watched he's a little aggressive not like james wholesaler was in that he'll bets it all every time but the first time he gets a double jeopardy he bets it all okay. The second time usually he has a big lead and so he'll just bet a smaller amount like two thousand or something. Okay sure so you know. He strategizes pretty well and he's very sure of himself because he's a good player so it gets down to the final question. I don't remember what the question it was a question. We won't go into it. Was it was a question that had three possible answers and you had to come up with two of them to the right right. And so based on their bedding strategy we assumed that this woman would bet at all right because if she gets it right she double surmount she has the same as him yes and then. We assumed that he would bat some amount less than half will. Why wouldn't you just zero zero. It would be tie and now that's a legitimate mood. That's what i would have thought. Then he has to face her in a one question playoff and it really comes down to. Who's quicker with the buzzer. No i understand that. But if he gets anything right and wrong and she gets it right he ludens right. So but i can understand him not betting zero because she was very quick with the buzzer. Because he was a very good contestant and he might have thought. Look i need to beater now. Because i might not beat her in. You know the one question because it really boils down to that. That tiebreaker is just who's quicker with the buzzer. Okay all right. So i see what you're saying. Is this since this is not a time based thing right you know you have plenty of time to write your answer and everyone can answer right. And he's confident. So this is the category i thought. Okay i know enough about this category or whatever so all right really bad but it turns out she did bed at all and she missed it right so she ended up with zero zero but then what was interesting to me is in he. Bet one dollar okay. So if he bets one dollar and gets it wrong and she by chance had gotten it right he would lost if he that's one dollar and she gets it wrong whether he gets it right or wrong. These still wins right. So why wouldn't he bet like two thousand or three thousand only a dollar. And that's what we talked about roy who i do l. dollars thousand doesn't make any difference. Because he gets a wrong he loses. Gets a righty wins. Yeah right if she gets it right if he gets it wrong loses if he she gets it right he gets it right. He wins if she gets it wrong. He wins anyway doesn't matter what he bet. Okay so and so. I'm sorry to interrupt you but you know the more i'm thinking about it. Now is yeah. Why didn't he like thirteen thousand. Something like that right. Because that's money in his wallet right. That's my point. I mean why we a- dollar why we need that two thousand five thousand five. He could have bet money good about thirteen thousand five hundred ninety nine ninety right. I mean easily could have done that and he's still would've won. Yeah if you're right. He gets way more money okay. And he's pretty aggressive guy as his play shows but he only a dollar and my wife immediately turned to me and said because his personality it's more satisfying to win by dollar than to win by ten

Individuals Should Have the Freedom To Decide Whether To Get Vaccinated
"A doctor himself senator. Rand paul a senator. Welcome back to the trailer kirk. Show thanks for having me charlie. So senator. The fda has just approved the pfizer vaccine. Seems like that is rushed on. There's a lot of different opinions being offered about this from your own medical expertise. What is your opinion of this. I think when you decided to take any kind of medicine you weigh the risks of the medicine versus the risks of the disease to really depends on how old you are. I mean if you're over. Sixty five i think the risk of dying from covet or pretty high and i think the rest of the vaccine are pretty low in comparison so over sixty five. I would take the vaccine. I think if you're overweight at almost any age particularly overweight over forty. I think the risk of the disease are worse than the actual vaccine. The other thing is is that. I also would test whether i've been infected so i'm fifty eight years old and i might be inclined to. I'm i'm a little roy. Maybe but i'm not obese. But i would probably still take the vaccine had already had it but i know i had no i had antibody response and the thing is all. The studies. Show that natural infections at least as good as as the vaccine. Some studies are actually showing that natural infection be better against some of the variants but the bottom line is we should all be allowed the freedom to make this decision and it should be based on facts dr fao g the elitists and biden administration. They don't want anybody to think about the facts. The back to be damned. I don't care whether you've had it or not. They just want you to submit. It's more about the collective it's about the beehive it's not about the individual and if you ever hear foul. She mentioned individual rights. He's very very dismissive and he thinks we ought to. Just listen to him. you know. do as you're told and don't Pipe up with any you know troublesome questions. He just wants you to do as you're told. But that's not the tradition of america and it's not the tradition of science.
Chappo's Final Table Hand
"So in this case chapo are french. Roy gets dealt ten clubs and the ten of diamonds and raises a at this point. The blinds are at four hundred thousand. Eight hundred thousand. This is a final table as we say Raises one hundred and twenty thousand to two hundred thousand total. I think i screwed up the math or a little bit but the raise is one hundred twenty two two hundred two and a half to two and a half big lights. Yes perma forty seven decline stack. And that's really important because as you know when you get to the final table. The chip stacks are crucial. And it really matters. This is where. Icm pressure comes to play. We talked a bit about. Icm over the last few weeks and this is going to be a great example of that so We opened a two point five. We get a call. There's a three bet up to six hundred eighty thousand so about three about three and a half times the stock i thought it was like sixty brines Let me see what are as to we. Raise to two hundred thousand He makes six eighty so maybe seven. Okay okay yeah. Yeah that's been in. It reminds yeah. Yeah that sounds right. That's an hero calls and the original caller as will also calls so we're three headed going to flop and we get a an n. We are first action so we get a pretty good flop for pocket. Ten's flops denying and clubs three diamonds. Four of spades so as a rainbow flop on nine high with the low straight on the table but really not much else and in a three bet pot. That low straight shouldn't really be too much of a factor when you're when you're factory in people's hands can yeah. I think it's important to mention here. Because we're final table we've got a jumps with every position. We do have a short stuck on the table. They're not in this hand and there's a short stack with about ten big minds on so i think that's really important to note here because everybody else has thirty big blinds or more i think rate point and it and it really. I can't reinforce this enough. It doesn't matter that that player is not in the end because it's a final table situation just their presence at the table should affect troy's strategy in this hand because There's there's as we'll see. There's a real incentive for troy and the other players to let this player lose i And to ladder up and get a bigger payout so just like we talk about anticipation being skill. We can use pre flop knowing what the icm situation is is is on the you have to have in your mind not just with the players that are in the hand but just all the players that are at the table so in this case the flop comes ninety clubs three diamonds forest spades. Were holding ten ten. And i think we're going to be checking to the aggressor with almost our entire range or i would expect in a three bet plot like this. That's gone multi way and that's what cheer as what hero does Chapo checks the original caller checks as well and then the three better Makes a bet of seven seventy five about almost eight hundred thousand about half pot which is slightly larger than the original. Three bed Hero calls and this is the really interesting spot so then the middle position player who called in the first time re raises a shove so before we even get into the future action. The board is nine three and four. This player called an open raise. Then they called three bet then. They checked the flop and now they've shoved over the seabed so the better folds and it's back to us and we're sitting there with the the lowest possible over pair which i think we have uninterrupted By the action. So what are we thinking in this spot. There's so many things we could be thinking about. We could be thinking about where we are in distribution of our own range. We could be thinking about the range of the player that's made this Check shove What what else should be thinking about. And what was the top of our minds. Now you guys in word. This board is not real conducive to a lot of hand. It doesn't hit a lot of hands called pre flop. So when i see that shove i'm thinking either a larger over pair or a set 'cause i mean the you could have something like five six. But that's so unlikely to be calling this pre flop. I think

If they even just alzheimer's yes they will watch for thirty days every possible tests and not only that but the the really not exactly have a lot of empathy. I always liked to say that most of them you know got their medical training at auschwitz before they made it to the bureau of prisons. I'm only kidding. They'll sumi over that one but they will find a way to find him competent unless he's totally out of it good and finally tell us what's going to happen to erica. I wrote that thirty years ago. But i'll avenue one working. Yeah we're super into you writing your new book and also. I think it's stand the test of time you're into it. I think the law is the law and the cases are the cases and also the introduction alone. I was like this is a timeless piece of writing here. Well i liked. Because i always writing it. You know you're always looking for a story because the only thing that you that you can sell our stories we try lawyers storyteller so the great thing about trials is they already have a plot they already have a context within which to tell the story. Yeah i would also say that you're also a warrior. I would say that there is a fighter and there. I would say like from what i got from the introduction which got me so excited was the idea fighting fighting against the power fighting against the authority and being a voice for now. Maybe it's they're not some are voiceless and maybe some have a voice but there is a thing of you know. fight the power beyond power. Or you know. I don't think i've ever told you this. How wide decided to become a lawyer. which When i was a kid. Mel fourteen or fifteen years old governor to was we moved to kingston jamaica and i had to go to an english. Prep school. It was a typical american kid at the time and it was an excellent school. Have to give him credit. But i had a math teacher. He did everything in his power to embarrass me and what he would do. He was in math and he would make me go up to the board to do mathematical equations in english currency which were pounds shilling pence of which i knew nothing just so we can embarrass me on a daily basis and i learned then my hatred of petty authority. And that's why. I love becoming a lawyer. I immediately became a public defender for five years. Because i wanted to represent all these poor people who had no money and no way to fight back against the system the system would grind them down into dust. Where can our listeners troll you. They're going to want to you. Know like reach out to you and say hi. Well you could. We have a website roy. Black dot com for the for my law firm which lists everything going on a former trials. Ladies once again it is always a pleasure to talk to you and hopefully add a little bit of light rather than the heat over. The trump matters now. The last time we talked to roy was about the dossier. Just i mean the level of the of your insight. Roy it knows no bounds. I mean really so my ego which fits right in with us right now. Our fourteen listeners. What the fuck is going on with these indictments. Well first of all. I i do have to make brandy one little correction to your intro the southern district of new york. This is the state of new york investigating the tax issues and that makes a difference if it was the southern district of new york. If this was a federal tax indictment it would be a lot more serious because then it deals with evading the income tax on the actual income whereas since it's a state case it deals with not paying a employment taxes or some type of state taxes which are far less than what the income taxes would be so for example in this indictment one point seven million dollars in text taxes but the tax rate is only get ten percent and the state court so that is a total of one hundred and seventy thousand dollars. Now between you and me hundred seventy thousand dollars not going to get you a very long sentence anywhere yeah. I'm pretty sure you've spent more than that on feeding julian i this summer but of course it was much more valuable than the pork stat. Wiesel beauregard out of trump. Okay so so this. Other district bjork does federal charges and cases and he is being charged by the state of new york. Yes the state of the and the reason for god. It got a lot here. it is because most people. It's hard sometimes to untangle and unwind these things. The problem is the federal government. I believe we'll never indict a former president but the state of new york doesn't feel the same so that's why things have shifted to the state courts. The department of justice has a long term policy of not indicting of former president..

And he has a fucking audacity to start space tourism. You know to if. I were playing devil's advocate. I would say like space expirations progress and without space exploration. You would never come up with. But they're not exploring well even building the plane even building. The rocket is in a way. You then have to trouble. Shoot all these different things and now we figured out how get microwave. We've figured out how to get a cellphone. We figured out how to whatever. And i'm just making that up. I'm not saying well the fact that we have more technology and our iphone than they did on the first like an effect. It's bizarre bizarre. However so building the shit you know is you could argue is is is pushing things forward with the same time unless you're going into in my opinion unless your building a thing to save the planet then any one single little problem we are. We are in trouble shooting mode dudes again. Read the room. There was a huge pandemic. There's there's a million little teeny little problems. Jeff bezos built his fucking by having economists. Come in and solve and trouble. Shoot the problems that other companies couldn't do that's why that companies enormous things people are idiots. They're clearly you're not going to solve any problem you're going up there to continue to make money in consumerism. I just don't understand why we haven't seen karma holding him and just and just reflect on the fact that there's these three are the first china's going to do it russia's gonna do it any into england's going to do it so now let's imagine space as a cluster fuck of tourism and it's all just to make money and it's all just going to add to the destruction of this planet faster so much it's garbage toxic air and chemicals blast out of planes and rockets and now it's going to be and we know one thing about china they don't care about pollution that's true it's right. I mean trying to figure out how to make things nontoxic or just just solve one problem. Just solve one that's to therefore but they're not. They're not trying to solve any problems at all. And i know at least be honest about it. I just wish they were honest about. I can't stand the like whoa. You know you could progress in its humanity. And when remember in the moon nasa. And it's like cut the fucking shit you tiny dick cock. Thank god for fields. cb l. when diet. Oh yeah you know. It's like. I forget how much we put into our faces every day. Even if it's just leg just it helps even if you think about putting a cigarette in your face that's true it's that's true. There's when you try to like. Or i would say for myself when i tried to slow down any thing when i'm just like consuming the world's in a black hole of 'em dina's you really see like i can't even change rooms. I need something. I oh my god my mouth must clench on something all the time my hands and my mouth. Yeah i should. i should make myself. You should make what. I should make myself a synthetic teat and you can suck on the t you know what i mean an utter or like a others. Maybe baby bottle i should get one. I should well. I'm using feels right now in its because it's premium the absolute best. Cbd oil that money can buy. It's not fake. And i am finding myself so anti four the highs and the lows i can't i need the highs and lows and eat them all. I cannot like just sit and be ryan with an if for me when i get like that and i'm trying to just shut my fucking mouth for an hour. I got the fields. Cbd oil really really hopes and also not to mention its oil. So i shake up the little thing. And then i do the droplets under the tongue and i still get to put something in my mouth. Yeah and that's what's so great about it for especially for people like us russia's speak for me who has a severe aural fixation and just can't has to just always have something in there and it's so relaxing so relaxing and by the way i had a total knee replacement two months ago. The feels like taking. I'm so tense. Yeah i am the my blood pressure must be cam afraid to look. I'm gonna have heart attack because of just this now have a blood pressure machine. So don't look. I'm not gonna lie okay. And the fields just takes it down much. Just take it down and so you know helps you. Sleep helps you. Relax helps you just meditate the highs the lows the mouth all of that to me it really does take the edge off of like a hankering that i'm just having an. It's all just had this habit. "I think he wanted to do this. And there were secret negotiations in the basement of an Episcopal Church on Capitol Hill for several months just before Nixon resigned in the Watergate scandal. Another thing that Nixon was credited with was looking at a government wide reorganization in a second term. And I understand you were it left The White House at that point, but you had such a key role in all the domestic affairs. Is there anything you might share on that? And a quick background for listeners particularly younger listeners, there has not been a major reorganization effort really a big scale since president Truman's administration. And to my knowledge, Nixon was the last one to really seriously beyond rhetorically look into something like that. Well, in fact, prior to the 72 election, of course, one of the most important organizations occurred under Nixon, which was the creation of the office of management and budget and the domestic council. Those were as important to reorganization as the creation of the national security act under Harry Truman, the ten years earlier. 20 years earlier. But on your point about the major overhaul of the domestic departments, Nixon did really try that. And it was it would have been dramatic. It would have been functional. It would have brought huge efficiencies to government. But maybe that's not the way government works. And what he was doing was he was saying, look, we have these crazy situations where so many functions which are related to each other, art housed under the same leadership. Instead, they're all over the place. And you worked at the environmental protection administration. And with EPA, what Nixon did there was he pulled together correctly, something like 40 different programs in a dozen different departments or 20 different departments at the agencies into the EPA. What Nixon was trying to do with that massive reorganization plan number one was to take functions like community development or like natural resources or like human services. And or like agriculture and to put them into departments which had programs really related to one another, subsumed under a single leadership where it came a proper was the fact that again you know this so well that the hill, the Congress is organized along lines of committee jurisdiction. And so there were built in inhibitions or just sort of structural difficulties for him to break down those for those walls between committees and the move stuff around. Again, you're right, I had left by the time that happened, but I sure saw it coming and I sure understood the lay of the land. As you did from having worked with the wonderful senator Alan Simpson and others like John chafe, the hill. Well, that's a great segue to another question that will interest a lot of us. And that is particularly for younger listeners. They may be thrown off when they hear you use this term liberal Republicans. I don't think they exist anymore. Or at least if they do, they're pretty well hidden in the background..

That are kind of different from the songs that i've done in the past. It seems like they're pretty on brand right. I'm telling the story of the great migration you know mavis staples staples singers. They from the south dockery. Actually so i'm finding a lot of ways to kind of plug this in and so i'll you know work work that part out in front of people but then i go and take us on like jungle book and performance in front of people for the first time. Actually even before that. I practice a lot in my car rapping. The songs and i knew what i wrote. We recorded it. But then i'm practicing the song in the car and for the first time i feel myself like yelling rapping the song until i'm like crying and i'm just like not really knowing what that was right like overcome with emotion and not do this in front of you know at these library performances in i think being exposed in showing emotion that is one that usually kind of suck away one of anger for a lot of different reasons. It's continuing to come out. And i'm like oh i definitely have something here. That is different from what i've done before so it was healing to be able to have a space to be angry to honor hip hop to honor my grandmother to let people who came to these library shows and everyone else know that. A rapper is experiencing the same thing that you're experiencing an sees this. Because i think that was the thing that i was also experiencing while making. The album is like joe. This is crazy making the fact that i'm watching a lot of artists. Now not say anything about this right and so there's importance in representation. There's importance in being seen in people know like no. You are not going crazy as saying that too so it began really healing cathartic and then i think by the time i was moving around two years and it was just a it was just a cycle. It had become to me re traumatizing to have to perform these songs down. Hold so much anger in pain for me and then you know i.

Fifty or one hundred maters. Be Fifty one hundred should be cruel not. Full hundred. Yes, I noted. That kick. Yeah, that's that's exactly right. That's sort of the strain wide to like I think there is a distinct if you're sort of look at these in sense of humor we sort of. We sort of we can be main, but not seem to be like we do sort of take. The Mickey will always have that kind of you know a strange kind of fair dinkum. Don't go for too much excessive expression. You know. Yeah, but we've also got that one wheel, I. But it just it has you believing? I have a really good segmentation now where discuss. Australia and America and Wallis's a Rod New York Post. He's written an article this week, which has shocked might he says basically. Australians don't like Americans.

"League, Ireland, where they get all their players on an island, imply for the duration of this thing and Roy. Leading the charge to the point you listen to them and you believe that could get this done. Problem is that they're playing for SACHAR. But completely believers and say Yeah I want my sport buck. Fox News in America is owned by Rupert Murdoch. He's a strident, but not for tax purposes and all the papers in Australia, so the Sydney. Daily Telegraph which he earns, and it is. It's borderline satire except the rotting turn realize it. Like just leading their leading the charge to get rob and running, and you would think like when talking pages of coverage, they diminishing health experts diminishing premiers. How dare they stop this sport? It's just it's other ridicule, but you way that with what Roy Nights. Jay Science FA satirist, not that far off. What the actual room eighty is doing! Like. Everybody's just this is so bizarre that you kind of it's gone so extreme that even to write the satire still like the reality is true like the with the Australian. We wrought set the amount of articles you have where people actually think it's news is quite high the moment because you had people arguing in. It's like dude. It's a setup page. And, then you look at looking guy. Maybe they have a point. It's not far off. What is actually happening? So these guys Roy H G. They've been around for quite a while I think the they're like in their late sixties early seventies. They had a good run themselves off. Might. I see that they had the longest running program triple j with their life, and was inducted into the national film and Sound Archive of Australia in two thousand thirteen, so these guys in Australia are huge. They really have they want their rarity hia in that they've continuously kids working like you sort of like I don't know if you find the but with comedy. Everyone has their hot hotspot. They're sort of three or four years. Where and then they sort of fight. Fight why these guys have just been there the whole time like and you talk about like Cassini. Two thousand was when he at peak, but that was sort of a light blue from that because that Bain like yeah fifteen years prior to that that were that was sort of my like Sunday. Afternoons listened to run is G. that's what I did. When I was doing homework. You know that was my teen years that was Anna Nolan a lot of people, too. So it's like yeah, every Sunday afternoon you list and off the talk like Australia's such a split up. Country like we have INS-. Is Rugby you on National Game in double? No, we have to national games hurling and Gaelic football game. Football's like AFL. Those big ones, but rugby union is our our next one. What do they you know you had? The rugby Union players on the plying? On the side of the language. Must be being, but over here in strategy we've got on each side, so the has we've got afl in half the country and NRL in the other country, growing up I grew up in Tasmania. which is I, felt country. You never heard of in our L.. Except for when Roy Jay talking about it and Malla Generali's from Roy. Nights Jay like I knew all these stories about these personalities but I couldn't tell you. Think it's a private school. You Play Union. If you went to a public school, it was lake I actually. That directly sports fans listen to. This is huge because I am such a sport myself. Why now I know that's why I'm taking. That's a jewelry that's out of your death. But I'm I used to my first job before I got into comedy. I worked for a Financial Company and stride. And one of my co will win I, said coworkers. He worked on the same floor. He's a full mile rugby USTRALIAN rugby champion John. EALES he was at test captain and he's one union. He's very very famous and I was Chattanooga one. Diana said genuinely. Might you play Legal Union? What's the difference and hey, salons and everyone around rabbit? Look at me like you fucking idiots. Like what are you doing? Who was a big Fan? Look what the? Support it to your took. Explain to you date. It'd be like me up to Shatman Guy You star. My Mark My pedigree for is I went. I went to a private rugby schools. My captaincy teacher became the head coach. Of Ireland at some point I was sitting Austrailia. You're watching. Declan kidney speaking of some games against Australia's like what the hell is many kittens, each teacher doing on TV weird. Wow, that's that's pretty I've yet. Did you ever play rugby at school? Ma We'll see I because I'm a I'm a be be told you die. I only played one game of rugby office, staying hit with the flu or something, so the needed feelings for one game now I spent big I played water policies at all you apply. I did not know the rules so first thing. I'm running I. Get the Bowl I go. What do I do what I do they to put it down I did score a try. Same thing happens they have you ever. Seen the SCRUM, how scrum works a bunch of lads together a big Hoagie? Yes something like that so there so I'm GonNa scrum rot. The bowl comes in now I. think naturally up. Maybe it's the chain that keeps it. The hottest gets the ball out so I keep the bowl as hot as I can ride into the other guy, the next thing on ever shouting her kicked her keeping down the wrong thing I got. We got the penalty because of Miami's Day and Yes sir three touches in rugby. We won the guy that I've never played again. Best Measure Top, you know. It's the best way, but now what you see there. I've told a legitimate story with a speen the Roy if Roy telling his story would be intentional. It'd be historically build up a more, and that is the art of Roy is Jay taking sort of the seemingly unbelievable and making it believable what I find, it's actually the format, the the commentator over spores, but like the fake commentary, the bit of a person and they're. One of my favorites actually I. personally am a cyclist cycling. What was like watching the tour? De France just kind of Nice and relaxing, but I always find it must be a nightmare of a job to fill airtime, but the guy who does that. He's just really good out of. Names Linkin right now. But Alan? Partridge he kind of he started his career as a fake sports presenter I. One of his first segments was actually doing a coverage of cycling. But of course, being PARCHEESI has no idea what's going on. Cycling Championships off. Fat. Down in delay swaying from side to side, he's out imitable riding way. Glass been that on the inside pumping away with? Those gristle like muscled legs inside the those tight lycra shorts, which has become his trademark and. They smashed. Play got. There's no way Jolie. The judges must come down like a ton of bricks that carrying box on top of a call is not a sportsmanlike weights around this race. You join me in the helicopter. Comedy. Dave -cation. Coon to accommodate you. I'm your host Dave thanks very much for turning up today I'm on the phone to Australia with no friend of Mine Mark Williamson Hagen on mark. I'm doing well died good. He thanks very much due to the magic of Internet's were kind of talking again. This time is my podcast and get to see what it's like. I know Diet for diabetes to be the sound engineer on my podcast. I know this I didn't realize dealer left. How much work is involved in broadcast? I thought I just turned up and talk. Today I'll be editing. This one been up to left you in Sydney. You're doing a bit of standup kind of. Your own website. Halley be gone out was four. Five seven. Seven time flies having fun. We've started. Doing stand up and moved into I. Think I'm a saturates now I have a website called the strategies dot net and on the social media we at beyond also, and we did political satire. We have had a few articles on worldwide putting an Ireland as well. We had we wrote an article about the World Health Organization, declaring the consumption of Kale Lee causes arrogance that one go by might of yours. William Shatner and yeah, that sort of seems to be. Big Shush, okay, I saw him recently. He was in Dublin two days before the lockdown here kind of was very twitchy bit wetter than. Even go into this mass room full of people, but it was Shattner so I kinda had to the big. Island to ease guy now you wouldn't come to the. Was it the same? No, no, if that was the point you're which is nine thousand people now. This is a bit smaller 'cause you wouldn't like. It was one of the greatest comedy shows. Everything was die Chapelle Jon Stewart and Michelle, Wolf you missed a hell of a shy I feel like stand up doesn't work in a big stage. It just doesn't. Just the intimacy, though to to my credit that the last comedian I ever saw perform in that stage. Was Louis C. K. so. Don't want much. We can say about that. He's making a comeback at literally. Allegedly hidden key released A. It's a weeds thing with guys like Louis C. K. as I. do I really WanNa. Watch the DO I. Mean no now. He's never charged with any this whole of the podcast. What you're going to on Louis C. K. and I. I don't know for really want to. Say, that for another topic know. The controversial Comedians is a whole different topic altogether. That's I think. A lot of them that I was nurse. Rally the whole concept of this podcast to actually bring people on who are locally experts in certain things that don't seem to travel the world or aren't as well known I live in Arlington. We have our own unique stuff here to people don't know, but I spend a lot of time in Australia as you know, you've decided to discuss. The gentlemen known as Roy and H G who the very famous straighted, but but they do kind of go international. They kind of got themselves attached to a few things around the two thousand Olympics I think I was sitting in America, and before I moved to Australia seeing these guys doing the color commentary for the sydney-based Olympics. So that's that's your specialized. Tell me all about them as Ri- ruin ice gene since. They have actually done a bit of research on this. They did have a show in the U. K. around about two thousand. They've also and for some reason is a this big in Dublin. I'm not sure fosters. You guys. It's it's here, but like since I've moved back from Australia I don't drink. It's a bit like. Har- yeah with foster's be some reason. The entire world America England think drink his fosters to be on I don't think you can get it in. Australia is not a be. We drink but bright. Jay advertise it over there. At the on Paul Hogan I don't know if he would have traveled worldwide off. Dundee went pretty well. Yeah because see we drink fosters, but just like the crocodile hunter. It wasn't really big as bigger. Than it wasn't Australia now interested. That's homework as well believe it or not. They ad campaign in the UK. Cold is a tickly regulars. Wasn't successful. He was like the where Hillary campaign kind of died in its ours, and they couldn't rebrand. Let's figure that where the bloody hell. Campaign and do you know that current Prime Minister Scott? Morrison is the idiot who came up with that campaign. Really. I didn't know this YEP Scott Morrison out current prime, and that's like hard 'cause. By the time he added this, we might have new. To Strike. He works for he's fired by tourism strident tourism easy Len's but yeah. He worked, and he launched a campaign. What was a failure with Lower Bengal where the bloody hell I I mean because it wasn't a, they launched a big campaign. He couldn't even air it in Britain, because he was an offensive time, but the Roy h g the really seemed to take off with the Olympics, in Sydney, because they were local voice of the local games, but they've been around since eighty six. Yeah, just for people who don't know their format is going G or actually. By Greek picker, haven and John Doyle and one of the excisable, an answer and the other one's. A retired sportsman turned. And you know what like for this format? I've decided to try and get audio snippets. Justice give examples. The only problem with these guys is that they feel sand quite normal. It's just when you put the same together with what they're watching is where it kind of the the comedy is one of my ones, I always kind of fixated on or found bizarre that though I'm sure they did to the Greco Roman wrestling. The camera. And then Vincent from Astrid into it now he's got A. Lot! He's GonNa pack the buttock again. Lords the talk. Gets doubt as good look. At Just And they are underway again. In the ninety seven kilogram class lease a big leads and you know I. Think there should be A. WE'LL SEE I Going to eleven point the actually controlled him there and two minutes. No, that's the end of the bow. That's it. Yeah, said prior to the Olympics they used to have the radio show. It'd be used to be on triple J. which is out you station of here on a Sunday. And the do three Hour Sports Shar and it was a fanciful, and it was improved, but the I think the what the magic behind the DESCR. HD describes the show as making the seriousness trivial and the trivial serious. So that take issues SOC stupid, but they could just talk about it in such a convincing manner that you believe the Roy is is champion sportsmen and some I mean this week at the moment. Have he goes I? Oh, you're sports, stopped at the Majia Koga things, one or two being done behind closed doors, but yeah I'd hate to be a sports presenter radio show at the. The moment to try to fill at that time. They're still putting them out and it's like you you. You control, so get on their Stri Yup we've got. Nice Board and Frost, it's most of the nation about the NRL. The National Rugby League they desperately trying to get back up and going because they need the money from the TV rights. So this became by one because. Most people not he can't play. While socially distancing so there's that whole argument about that and they're trying to figure out the logistics now. It's quite a serious discussion about it because we're talking. Hundreds of millions of dollars, health and safety but Roy Nights Jay there'd be leading the campaign on their radio show, because it's still on Ed via, and they're talking about getting a royal, commission into getting rugby going. They want politicians. There's a talk guy. The and I think you have succeeded, but the NFL seriously WanNa get a rugby.

"I I may not have ever loved unique Bella, but just from a credential standpoint, and I know she beat Laforce in two of those races and not trying to be a jerk about the force. But I don't think the force is named should ever come up with clips award. I just that really is division to me. It's. I mean, I I don't know. There's a good answer there. I ended up going with unique Bella I can't be outraged with anyone that gets voted for. And they're just because I think they're all kind of black. She's who I landed on a division that I have zero opinion whatsoever. I just kind of went with what she had accomplished as far as the totality of her campaign. It was very brief which I don't like, and I usually dock horses for that. But at the same time. There weren't many longer campaigns in the longer campaigns. They completely fell apart at the end, so ultimately, older female, I chose to go with unique Bella. Go to sprint divisions. Male sprinter to me, this one's really again, kind of a no brainer. You look and see ROY h and accomplish I thought perhaps he had lost a little bit on the fastball. It stages throughout the year. He came back in basically better than ever fashion culminating with a repeat in the Breeder's Cup sprint and very likely a repeat as far as male sprinters concerned. Here is the Breeder's Cup. Sprint ROY h winning again at the top at a stretch right by promises. Fulfilled imperial hint pint to close on the outside then distinctive Whitmore's making progress here he comes leading horses. Roy h has got a big lethal at the sixteenth police foreign front, wet more closes the gap into second. As they come to the line. Roy h does it again won it by four legs under buckle Benz? Never looked like loser. Rounding the far turn turned Eddie Olczyk and disorder gonna win by fifteen didn't quit when by quite that many. But he never looked like he was gonna lose that race. An impressive job from this horse. And again, he just rock-solid if he shows up and runs his best more likely than not no one else can run with his best. And you just wonder he's a gelding in theory. You keep him sound to keep them happy and healthy this could continue on for a little way. So hopefully, everything stays good with him. I think he's well on his way to another eclipse award as far as the Phillies and mayors are concerned, this is another one it's kind of I don't have as big a problem voting for who. I did. Usually, this is me one of the weaker divisions. Last year, you look and see unique Bella ultimately ended up winning..
