Democrats Expect Republicans to Vote to Raise the Debt Ceiling

"Now raising the debt ceiling is a totally different thing Then paying the debt service raising the debt ceiling is about going forward Future spending They want to raise the debt ceiling So when they pass a budget they have to show that it's paid for which paid for by actual taxes or it's paid for by debt the budget must balance in that sense not a bunch not a balanced budget in our sense but on the books So the federal government has to borrow money because it never spends within its budget So going forward it needs to borrow money That's why they want that debt selling to go up Not to pay the debt service which is $45 billion a month With $320 billion coming into the federal government every month that's easy And what the Democrats have told the Republicans is that we want the debt selling raised to December 2022 to get through the midterm elections And we don't want to cap on it Meaning whatever they choose to pass whatever they choose to spend unilaterally the Republicans are expected to vote to raise the debt ceiling to pay for it And this is where McConnell and the Republicans have said no we're not going to do that Why would we do that In fact I don't think they've ever done anything like that before And they're saying to the Democrats you have 50 50 in the Senate you have a slight majority of votes in the house You're in a ram through this spending through phony reconciliation and everything else You do it We're not voting for any of it

NFL Picks and Predictions Ahead of Week 1

"About the nfl week. One right around the corner where you been doing. Our nfl picks podcast tomorrow. But is there any sort of early liability that you're already having to move numbers a little bit just based off of where the actions coming in. I've seen a number of small road favorites even non conference road favorites which typically red flag. But i'm having trouble talking myself into some of these dogs as a as a senior trader. Is there something you're keeping your eye on there like an eighty twenty split already that you're you're seeing so you don't like the lions and i do to live not not to win outright but san francisco strikes me as that team the forty niners that is going to ruin everyone's survivor contest. Everyone's three-team teaser. They're just it's too easy. I've been gambling for too long and al and you know as as the guy works behind the book bets like those. It's too easy dangerous showing you. I mean you're talking to guys who are considering the texans one mixture of lawrence and three point road. Favorite team was more than fifteen last year in survivor pool. You have to go those routes if you pick the same stuff everybody else that's gonna pick you're never gonna win. Need those good teams at the end of a chance. Someone all so i don't this respect. Respect the texans. But you know i think basically when you go into week one you know what sides are going to need right. We're going to need the lions to beat parleys. We're going to need bears games interesting. I think that we'll we'll see some decent sharp action that's been driven up. They still have the shawn watson we know. Travelers is gonna be good but peyton manning threw how many picks in his rookie season a little rough. So i don't think that's a slam dunk. Our road road favorite. But yeah i mean you know who are gonna need the near the bears against the rams.

I just thought, you know you're so into it and you're together and you're just so committed for that, and You know, probably the one when I did it with my husband, and he and I were just, you know, thinking and well, you know, we we had our goal. We wanted to get finished and in time. And without any, anybody getting hurt, And so that was that was just It was a really good time in that that race with your husband to two person really across America, folks, By the way, it's it's literally that is from the west Coast of the East Coast. 3000 plus miles. Normally your with your husband, John, the mixed 60 plus age category and you guys set the record was that the goal for you guys to set the record, or was it just to finish in the allotted time? There was a goal that got the record. Yeah, we usually Yeah, We're kind of competitive, too. So we like to do that, But also, um, we wanted to, uh, do the best the very best we could. And we want to just show people that you know it could be done We then we were so careful plan and our daughter our Marine closed out. It was a pretty and that was So what's fun Because it was really It was really a family affair and then her husband with a three boys at that time, she had three boys and they were at the finish line for so It was just really special, but we didn't have any time off the bike. "Are incredibly high for matthew stafford so here. He is on a first impression of matthew stafford. Let's be great. Yeah i mean being around staff and just kinda chance to be about your family and realize what a family guy and he just would do us It's been cool to see. I always a lotta respect for him across the league just from watching him play and then we have some mutual friends before we ever really got a chance to spend a lot of time together. One of his college teammates is very very close friend of mine and play with me in cincinnati for a long time. So i've known a lot about him but just get to see him in person to be around him and his family is really special and You know just You can tell. He's one of the guys that does it the right way and is a great representation in this league and here is on how stafford will affect him and the rest of the team. You know i look at it like you just like when john sullivan was here. Roger sophos and other veterans in the league. There's always this Hard to explain. Just an understanding and appreciation. You have for other veterans in the league. In the time they've put in and So i think with matthew is really quick pick out he both seeing a lot of things you can counter discuss things that maybe you know. Other young players understand the game but they haven't experienced so they haven't been through so i think for him and i it's pretty easy to to pick up on different things in different situations that we've gone through and experienced so over under numbers for matthew staffer. Now tell you last year. The lions were five eleven. He threw for four thousand. Eighty four yards and twenty six touchdowns. Okay so here. Is the here the over under numbers for matthew stafford for this year. He is in vegas. You can make this bet in vegas. You can make this bet right now. Matthew stafford total passing yards this year. Forty five hundred and fifty yards now to put that into perspective. Last year he threw for four thousand eighty four and back in two thousand eleven ten years ago. He threw for five thousand. Johnny like over or under forty five hundred and fifty yards passing for matthew stafford over because camakers got hurt. They're not going to have the thought that they were going to have. I think sean mcveigh combined with matthew. Stafford is gonna throw a lot. The only question really with him. Kenny stay healthy but if he stays healthy anthony. North of forty five hundred. What do you think. I think he goes. North of forty five hundred. I think you put matthew stafford together with a coach who's gone to the super bowl. As a coach that is an offensive genius. A wonder pinned centered. Wonder kid. he's actually. I think they are going to throw the ball a lot. I agree with you. Know camakers daryl henderson. We'll see if they bring anybody in like they are going to have to henderson. What's that. I think they might throw it. To daryl hinders. Yeah they might think they're gonna pass alive okay. Matthew stafford total. Td passes this coming season. Twenty six point five. And i'll put it in perspective last year through for twenty six almost right at that number ten years ago. He threw for forty one touchdowns over under twenty six. And a half touchdown passes for matt stafford especially with seventeen games. I think that's an easy over. Actually i hadn't thought of that but you're right. We're going to have to get rid of the get ready for that right. Because ten and six becomes ten and seven eleven six and i mean the the seventeen game thing is going to be really fascinating. But you're right zooming that the game at the end of the year is gonna mean something if not has already shown. Oh we'll have won the division. By then john will as seattle and san francisco. Good now we'll have won the division. I'm talking. I think the rams i i think the rams are super bowl bound. I think we are going to the super bowl this year. And i think matthew stafford is going to have the year of his career. The one that people were the one that races all of the losing in detroit. I think matthew stafford finds a way to get this team to the super bowl. I'm absolutely confident. In shaw mcvay. By the way. I i have more confidence in the in the over twenty six than i do over the forty five hundred. Twenty six is easy through for twenty six last year. And now there's an extra game and give me miss four games. How many games they playing last year. I thought he played all of them. All right. i'll look at our two years ago. I think he played eight. But i'm working off the top of my head there. As i often try to do but i'm pretty sure last year was a full season for him to have it all sixteen games there. You go. and he's got a better team now. I think twenty six is easy and listen to his game tools by the way starting in two thousand eleven sixteen sixteen sixteen sixteen sixteen sixteen sixteen sixteen eight sixteen well. The eight was a back injury though. So you worry about that a little right. That was the twenty nine teen season where it's only started. Well part of the as you know you talk about. The part of the question is the offensive line. Can they protect him from getting killed. So hopefully the offensive line is solidified. And then you know that way. You can protect them. Yeah so Here's something interesting. I think so a couple of years ago. The clippers hired the excellent sports illustrated writer. Who listened to us for years and years. Yeah legras lead. Jenkins grew up in san diego listening to mason in ireland as we were his great inspiration. I'm told i think that's probably a reach. But he would probably roll with it. You probably remember him as the guy who wrote the big lebron james story for sl when he announced he was going to miami. Fantastic guy. now. I got no idea. What the hell does that the clippers does anybody know he's a he's a writer. What the hell does he do with the clippers. I'm not sure but that that that is a good ramp up to this ram story. Yes because the rams have hired their own version of lee jenkins. This guy is named david. Ben wa i think his name is andy andy. Benoy benoy andy benoy. Okay was going with the french pronunciation. So they've and he is going to be in this role. But i've got no idea what this is. It's a good question will have to ask. Mcveigh my first reaction. When i read this story that the rams had hired someone from the media to work in their front office and by the way he's worked for sports illustrated the new york times and cbs sports. He's hired an assistant to rams head. Coach sean mcveigh special projects. Right the minute. I saw this story. The very first thing that popped into my head is man is mason going to be so pissed off. Yeah that whatever can't slip 'em off gave this job to sounds like sean mcveigh did it. And then probably had to clear it through kevin and less need but what exactly is a writer for sports illustrated new york time. Cbs sports gonna do football wise. I mean is he shaping. The message as a writing stories would. Is he writing stories for the program. What is he doing. It's a great question. And i think they'd let him come on the radio. Probably not we could probably ask mcvay about him. I wonder vandy would come on. Especially since you just call him by the wrong name. And i know if it's benoi or or benoy in his and you called him. David is all over his name. It's a it's a great question. I just figured that if anybody from the media was going to work for the rams you would think it should be you. Oh god damn off would be the first thing you would do if you're in that role that role as but if you had if you had the ear of sean mcvay unless meat. What's the first thing you would tell them..

"A link here in the article if you go to the article at mortar one dot com the articles titled dodge ram goes full superhero toes. Loaded logging rigged as safety. This tick-tock user actually took several videos. And one of those videos actually showed the the chain that was connected to the truck and the semi. so yes it did. Actually pull that some. I out of the intersection now. This wasn't a big deal to me. Because i mean the people all of a sudden. Forget that four did a big pr stunt point a million pounds worth of train. Cars are a little while ago with their electric f. One fifty tundra pulled the space shuttle back to twenty fifteen toyota. Did a thing where they're a stock tundra tote the space shuttle and i think that was like two hundred and some thousand pound three hundred thousand dollars a a maximum toll rating is completely different from what you can actually pull a tow rating. Keep in mind. That's taking into account long distance towing where you have to also make sure your tow vehicle can adequately manage that load at speed where he can still have functioning breaks where you still have functioning suspension. It all goes at all goes together. If you're just on something very very slow speed for just a short distance you can go way beyond that. It's not recommended. It might hurt the vehicle but anyways we we had a commentator points to those ted talk videos but then we had an email that came in from the brother of the owner of this ram and he said hey. This is my brother i told you about. This would love to see him get a little bit of dench because he was just trying to help this guy out so yeah i got a hold of the brother and we wrote a follow up article. Let me let me stop. Follow up article bite. My share screen here wrote follow up article just today on it has. We're recording this wednesday. And yes the story goes. It's it's pretty much just like the video description. Say this truck. It has some clutch issues out in the forest when it was apparently when the semi. Let's just get the semi right getting out of the force by the time he got into this intersection. The the clutch was just about gone. The the semi driver then lost power. Steering coming up to the intersection stopped because no power steering when you point one hundred forty thousand pounds of logs is bad and he stopped because he don't wanna hear the traffic light. So incomes are incomes are hero with his dodge ram. That's a two thousand seven dodge. Ram thirty five hundred. It's got the cummins diesel engine. Six speed manual transmission and he came in there and offered to help the guy out so they hooked up. The first thing i had to do because guide stopped the truck because he doesn't have any power steering because the the clutch was he couldn't get it out of year so he'd started just on the semi a little bit just to try to move enough to where they could get it out of year. They gotta year they managed to get it fired back up the guy in the ram he said you know. I was kind of excited. Caught up in the moment is was trying to tell them in four high kinda cook by clutch and you can see it in the viral hog video. Yeah but you can see. There's a pretty good amount of white smoke coming out underneath and we were theorising back last week okay. Is that clutch smoke. Is that tire smoke. What is that there. Were commenters that were saying. No that's the the semi-truck pushing the ram and the smoke is the smoke coming off the tires because the rams breaks are locked up. And it's still it's like now. How stupid are you sorry. I i i had to say goodbye to your pushed a truck at like two miles an hour. And you're getting gobs of of tire smoke. No so yes. That smoke was actually the The clutch cooking up a little bit. You says okay. So then. I put it into four low. At that point. I kind of had my head on a little bit straighter so i was just easing into it. And as you watched the video. I mean you can. You can see If you watch very closely to me at least you can see. The ram bumped forward just before the truck starts to go and then you could also see a point where the ram shifts gears and the ram shimmy is a little bit. Then you see the semi shimmy. Little bit ultimately told them about a mile down the streets to a wider section where the cars could go around him. According to the rams is worth putting out so we are not showing this video because youtube is weird. And we've shown videos on our show before and we've gotten copyright strikes so we're kind of that's the reason we're not showing the video if you want to see the video motor one dot com. Go for it like it's there. Is there reason we are not showing it on this but the the semi is an intersection. And so it's kind of blocking traffic and so to kind of explain why it needs to be towed to this other area just to throw that in. Yep yep no no thanks for that. I was getting a little ahead of myself. There and i mean the the guy did it just because he says i drove up there. The guy needed help. I thought i could help them. And we need more of that in the world. People he said cars were were trying to go through and everybody was yelling and honking. And it's like. What do you want this guy in the semi to do. he's having. He's clearly having some issues with his truck. I don't know if they called a wrecker. Something like that would usually require a very large semi wrecker to come out there and this guy said you know about ten minutes. By the time we.

"Six wheel drive cost. Funnily enough i was just talking about this with our boss adrian. Today it is fifty one fifty two grand for the gt to raise them up with rear-wheel drive. Yes if you want that with all wheel drive you're up to fifty five thousand dollars and has need. Is i think the cars. I think the car looks good. I actually rather love it. I love the hatchback design. It's extraordinarily capable inside. It doesn't look like a hack. It doesn't make americans happy. It reminds me of my mazda. Six a lot. It's a little bit bigger. It's a lot faster. I would love to replace this and maybe find one using a couple of years. I will but the reason. I'm not looking at it now. Fifty five grand now admittedly. That's for the top end model. But you're still looking at thirty six thousand dollars for a base. Four cylinder rear will drive stinger. And that's not a huge price. But i mean. I mean we were talking about this latte. What the average car price is right. Around what i think thirty three now. So yeah. that's what. But if you want to spend three hundred if you wanna spend thirty six thousand dollars on a neat sport it's sport ish sedan sporty sedan that has decent power not overwhelming power. Are you looking at a stinger. And honestly i don't think people are people. I think inquiry still used to going to kia and being able to find decent vehicles at a at a surprising price and for me. There's nothing surprising about the singer's price. I mean when you consider the size. It's not a small car. No it's can fit a family of it could be a family force car like if you you could cross shop it against camry or an accord mine. A small car. And i almost get the impression that keel was trying while it's not an impression we've seen it in their ads with the k. Five or they're they're trying to bubba against bmw. And i i have to wonder if maybe they were thinking. Well okay this will be. This will be our our bmw fighter. People will step down several thousand dollars from bmw to go to the stinger. What they should have been thinking of was. Let's get people to step up a little bit to go to stinger. Have that price point a little bit lower to attract that other segment of buyers. Because honestly i don't think it'd bmw buyer is is cross shopping kia. It's no disrespect to key up. It's just doesn't have the same kind of pedigree that bmw has. And and i mean that to me. it's kinda planes. I mean that's why they're not selling when i when a decent performance model is gonna cost you fifty grand. I wouldn't say what's gt1 cost. I was just trying to look at that. What's the entry level with the v. six cost entry level. Gt1 forty three thousand six hundred ninety so forty four grand. By the time batman your destination in their forty five grand. But do you want to spend forty five grand on that real drive car brand new or do you wanna go like you were saying bruce. Two or three years older to a young used to a used. Bmw to like that. Yeah the same at the same price point. Yeah i know it's not an apples dabbles comparison but like i said earlier buyers. Don't care about apples to apples. You're going to look at price. They're going to look at what they once and and that's where they're going to go and i think that's why i think he just price their stinger too high unfortunately but enthusiasts. I'm telling you these are going to be a really good in just a few years. Yep i'm going to have you know all of the tack all of the power everything that you want. It's going to have everything that you want from that. Bmw or mercedes for thousands and thousands last if not tens of thousands Yeah it's i predict. This is going to be very good by in four to five years time and again hatchback i mean i just think of all the things i've hauled in my mazda that doesn't look like a wagon. It doesn't look like an suv. You get that. Same effect here with a stinger. You'd be shocked at how much you can put inside that car and yeah you get it with all wheel drive okay. Who needs your crossover with a little bit more ground plans. You not going off road anyways or if you live in florida and you don't need all wheel drive you get the rear wheel drive model drive or or if you live in the north. He just put snow tires on it and he's still have some far that yeah But yeah it could be. This could be. It could be looking at months so yeah well. That's not true. I need you to put your journalism cap on because you did some some deep diving for us this week in regards to a story that hit big for us. What friday of last week. Thursday last week when it was wanted to go up. When did it go. Let me take a look here. July sixteenth so. That was what last thursday last friday. I'm helping me out here. But somewhere around thursday or friday. It's friday it's friday. So yeah so it went up friday here. Let me let me do a quick share screen so people can see a little bit of what we're talking about here absolutely this video that came out on viral hog long story short. It's video of a dodge ram pickup truck and yes. This is a dodge ram because it's a third generation truck before ram split off from dodge. I actually got an email from a guy. That was just chastising. That's you won't find a dodge badge anywhere on their. This is the third generation dodge ram. Anyways it's a video from british columbia canada of this dodge ram pulling a semi truck through a busy intersection. It's not just a semi truck. This is a big semi truck pulling big tandem trailers. each trailer loaded with logs. A big logging trucks now. I looked up some of the rules and regulations in canada. The maximum way that you can have for wrigley this with tandem trailers one hundred forty thousand pounds now. I don't know that this truck is one hundred forty thousand pounds knowing what i know about logging trucks. It's probably pretty close to is probably pretty close to a hundred and forty thousand pounds. And i was thinking. Yeah and and there's video is only it's only about fifteen seconds long and it appears to show this dodge ram pulling this truck out of the intersection. The video description said here in in williams lake british columbia canada. This is ram told this. Broken down logging truck out of the intersex and be received more emails about this video than anything else in ages in in recent history. They were coming into our tips line. There were e mails coming directly to me commenters. Were all over this This article what what what are we. I think we're up to fifty seven last time. I saw warped a fifty six okay. So we've had more comments yet today on this article. I'm sorry fifty four. Okay yeah. I was fifty fifty. Four people chastised williams lake is nowhere near the rocky mountains. Okay it's in between it's it's just west of the rockies but anyways people were just commenting like crazy that no way could this pickup truck pull that big semi and then of course they were people jumping in. That were saying well. Yeah of course it can dodge power forever and and then there were people arguing about all. This is america. This is canada and it's like why are you even bringing this up. We said it's in canada. You know it's it's it's it's the whole commenting scene but this the traffic that this article produce i mean it. It picked up over the weekend and we did have a minor minor website outage on monday but our traffic was just off the scale. And the and this article in this video is leading the way so whether or not just people flogged to this and and broke the website for. I don't know it was just all over the place and then we got a message while first of all had a commentator say hey i know where the source of this video is it's a it's a person on tick-tock that that took these videos and and there's a link here in the article if you go to the article at mortar one dot com the articles titled dodge ram goes full superhero toes. Loaded logging rigged as safety. This tick-tock user actually took several videos. And one of those videos.

"Rams and the 40 Niners from l A. And so five stating, we get a look at the Rams. New place would be great if there were fans and media and everything else, But this is the way we got to deal with it, by the way, Talk to weaken. Well, we got the voices of both teams together. John one Greg Papa. That's our show from 10 to 2 pop in London. We got together with J. B long The voice of the Rams will let you hear that in just a second as we go behind enemy lines. But remember, teamwork is the secret to success. Also I dignity help the San Francisco 40 Niners and can be our We're teaming up to spread the stop The spread of covert 19 1 of the best ways to beat Cove in 19 is, of course to wear a mask. And each week we're giving away hundreds of Niners. Dignity, health masks, and it's very, very simple. I have to do to get yours is gonna can br dot com slash mask again. That's knbr dot com slash match. You can get yours and show your true Niner colors. Let's get the latest on what's going on with the Rams as we spoke with the voice of the Rams, JB long Well, I've often made the mistake of saying it's tougher something $5 billion to live up to expectations. But since there's nothing else like it, there are really no expectations for something with that price tag, But that being said, I think it meets and exceeds all of them. In fact, If you have Ah, access to social media may be after this conversation. I advise everyone to take a look at the video the ransom posted last night. Apparently, they played Monday night football up through the canopy. So you could see it flying over on your way into or out of l A X. So if you ever wondered what Aaron Donald looks like, you know, blown up beyond life sized proportions, that'll do it. Um, since you mentioned Dallas. I think it's a good cop, and I'll be curious and future years to get your take on this, because, um, my only beef with Dallas and it's a mild one is that you inevitably give into the gravitational pull of that video board and watch the game not live. But as it transpires up there, and Nothing wrong with that person. But I think what's unique about the video board so far, which spanned more than the length of the stadium, and his two sided is that you have a clear line of sight every corner of the field, and I do think you are close enough in all corners of the stadium to watch it on the field first and then Let your eyes drift up to see all the other programming that's available on that video board. That is cool. You're exactly right. By the way in Dallas, I've covered some games there and you do. You're watching the game on the board. Then you catch yourself like why am I doing this? The game is on the field, and I'm looking at that board. It zah magnet for your eyes. It's It's crazy, but in regards to the Rams and the Niners are kind of in this situation. They go to the Super Bowl and then due to injuries, they're just not back. But what has been the turnaround for the Rams this year to go from team to go Super Bowl? 19 7 is not bad, but they don't get in the playoffs and now they're the second seed in the NFC. Yeah, I mean, I think he struck the right chord. They're nine and seven. Not bad, And it's been a long, long time since they put together three consecutive winning seasons as my face done, and as you and your audience are keenly aware, a couple of third down in 16 go differently, and they might beat the eventual NFC champion at Levi's coming down the stretch, and we're having a different conversation. But last year was what it was, and it wasn't great. It wasn't up to the standard of expectations they had set and 17 and 18 or what they were capable of. I think the biggest personnel culprit and this will resonate with you all his injuries and for the Randall last year, it was on their offensive line. And it was the first time since they hired Jonah Day that they were not able to start the exact same starting five that they wanted to In every meaningful game, and that had unfortunate repercussions on Jared off on Todd Gurley on their production on the hole that a couple bad games defensively, But that wasn't I don't think the main reason why they went nine and seven. This year. However, the step that they've taken defensively is the reason why they are leading the West and are in position to contend for the NFC stop seed. I think that's been the biggest area of growth and when you combine that with an improved offensive line Not just in terms of their front line, but also the deaths. I mean, they've lost Andrew Whitworth now for the first time during his L. A tenure and Joe no boom, who they groomed as his era parents, though they weren't planning on it this year, stepped in nicely against Tampa Bay in Seattle. On. Dave didn't skip a beat the way that they definitely did last year when they suffered injuries up front. You know what I was telling you and DeMarco this yesterday J. B, but it's remember, uh, the chain of events so vividly last year to tell you how far things can change in the NFL in one year's time, and I think 40 Niner fans gotta look ahead to next year and how quickly things can flip. After the 40 Niners went to the Coliseum and Jared Goff it like 78 yards passing and it was just an onslaught of that pass rush. Let's need made three separate trays. The big headliner obviously was getting Jalen. But you, you're fortified the offensive line with Austin Corbett. I think the Browns thought he was going to be a tackle. But he had with words. You made him a right guard and the young guys on your line in Haven Stein's playing better. All of a sudden, your offensive line is healthy and better. Then you had Kenny Young in the linebacking corps and your linebackers. You lost little chin of the Raiders, but my God Michael Kaiser has gotten so much better. The speed on your defense. They weren't struck me was the week after. 49 speech. It was the game against the Bears on Monday night Football. It was like, Wow, this defense is so fast, and I know you have the hick up against Miami in Miami, But you sack Russ six times what you did to Champa Bai. Talk about the structural changes going from Wade Phillips to Brandon Staley. And then I think also symbolically getting younger, not just a coordinator but younger on defense and just completely Foot speed fast is just heightened dramatically in one year's time on defense. Well, I mean, there's there's a lot unfurled there, and I think you hit on a bunch of key points. Um, you know Maybe some unsung guys might be the place to start because any team that has success in the NFL has to have some scrap heap. All stars right guys that were what everyone of flames or maybe used to sing about the round pick. Underactive free agents, those type of guys and the one that jumps out to me is Darius Williams, because if you're gonna have a star like Jalen Ramsey, who's going to take away the side of the field from DK Metcalf and Russell Wilson, whoever's opposite him is going to be thoroughly vetted. And Williams has had four interceptions and all of them. I mean, all of them have been the reason why the Rams have won that game. Two against Wilson in Seattle. Most recently, Corbett's another good one..

But let's get the focus on the financial stuff. Ah, very common misconception about annuities is that when you own an annuity that you lose total control over your assets, well again, that's not true. That most of the annuities it only applies to a very select. Few Americans are typically control freaks, and they like to oversee everything, including their money. So the same applies to most of the annuities that they like They want control of that asset and anyway, But now we're living in very strange, chaotic involvement of times. "Ram movie it's the route revolutionary above abolitionist movement yeah which is yes yes yes yes we are considers themselves the the radical arm of antifa with allies in black lives matter and it seems that all stem from another group which is the international revolutionary people's guerrilla forces which is an international operation which I'm delighted sure he was behind those right those demonstrations yes at some level in high in Holland so they have to be there and absolutely but you don't you can see them you see the it's the same uniform it's always the same and there's one other interesting aspect did you notice that pretty much everybody had a mask on mostly have to wear a mask man six feet apart Justin sink well yeah so obviously always worn masks antifa's always work thank you and now every one of these so called protesters all these Fortnite kiddies which I think is a lot more like Fortnite than it was you know traditional lar ping they all had their cove it masks on I was reading a very interesting article about masks in the article first the compares it to how people are and how they respond to other people when they're inside their car and the example of course was road rage where you yell at people you shake your fist because now you're kind of protected even though you're not really but you've got you know got some glass around you so when you wear a mask much like criminals do yes it's often not from here so you're not identified identified but here's what a mass does for you so besides making it harder for you to be identified and this is from sept like the psychology one oh one masks number two conceals your emotions and reduces the amount of eye contact you make lets you think and feel like a different person and mass yep that's what master for people put on all kinds of masks and and sometimes I do you ever you know it is not a a tangible mass like alcohol is also a mask you may ask yourself it also helps you avoid guilt shame and embarrassment hello white white guilt white fragility and brings to the surface parts of your personality you might otherwise hide think eyes wide shut cetera and in groups masks can be dehumanizing leading to group think that extreme behavior that is the fact about masks and if you have that in this kind of situation I think people got much bolder I think they were I think it really made a difference and they could also hide their guilt behind their mask well the point you made David yes self loathing white liberals the term the point you may be about the politicians especially the the Democrats not wanting to confront the antifa situation which is a serious threat and they do a good job I mean I have to say I give kudos what happened believable job there's low clap well done well in we just don't know we're not we're not are you don't write their old play book said to be on the left knows about they can't bring themselves to admit it because no no no we don't want to go there but either let me play a series of clips starting with one of the big guys we got beat up by these guys one time and had brain damage actions back in the back in the saddle doing you do yeoman's work is anti go N. G. O. on he's on Twitter and he was talking about antifa on that hill the rising which is a show I like a lot with this guy's sar Garvin is crystal ball all right yeah and this and they're both excellent on the show and here's a handy go it can be go ahead I think it's no G. O. no yeah and I think that's how you pronounce it be we do you know any clarification on this or I do apparently yep well let's listen to him talking about antifa in twenty seventeen I would say in two thousand sixteen into part two thousand seventeen the revered as kind of like folk heroes to the city put the stop which politicians here because and while they believe that the media said they referred to them as anti fascists yeah and that's where the deception is really strong I was elected okay not in favor of antifa not anymore now because they're seeing that the build out the city house to pay when these people come out and wreck havoc in downtown Portland so they have I seen them kind of distance themselves a bit more but they don't want to come out too strong against the far left because there's a large constituency on the left who although they would not participate in the tactics of antifa or other similar within the state shares similar goals and sympathies so it's a difficult position fire democratic politicians here to be in I would like them to have more clarity in their leadership and to come out and against violence against this type of down I cannot view it through a partisan lines as they are currently yeah children current thing is happen that's happening is trump deciding that well these guys are domestic terrorists and they should be but put on a terrorist watch list and been in and treated as a terrorist organization now has a little just a just a wood gallery of that there's no there's no term but I think if you classify them as enemy combatants you know there's there's tons of discussion about this and there are ways of doing it incoming enemy combatants is not the same because that would really complicate matters they just want to get him on this list and yet as we go along with these for more clips can you see the kind of hold on so that's exactly now I understand now it makes sense he wants some on the terrorist he wants some classified as a terrorist organization organization that's why certainly Democrat politicians are saying organization you just there's nothing you can put on the list is to be used just to just to pick up people left and right that's what's happening because they're just denying that it's a true organization exactly left few examples dessert samples of them doing just that from different sources here's the BBC this is the the clip is the odd pro antifa BBC well there Donald Trump has said.

"Ring whatever minimal amounts they can earn the patient goes I think reacting to things in the story that are actually in the text of the ram as announced by ACDC are it doesn't actually say they'll be eligible for rehabilitation programs I think that's yet to be determined so where are they literally going to end up if they go to these general in the prisons so there's a total of six prisons at our in the list and thing here and say yeah one of them is Corcoran the central California women's facility that's where the religious part would be yeah there's twenty two women who see who are not on San Quentin's death row they stay at the sight roll California women's facility in Chowchilla yeah I know at least for the time being stay there this is a pilot program by the way it's a the headlines is going to empty out death row or not correct so we'll just start with the trickle of inmates yeah and what one thing that I disagree with in this announcement is state they make it voluntary with the inmate and yes that's only for a pilot program maybe so but I don't think they should have any say in where their house to yeah I heard they have to apply right yeah that seems kind of silly to me I mean why why should their opinion have any bearing on the matter it shouldn't be about it it's not a benefit for them it's it's a move to save money and reduce the cost of the death penalty exactly I mean I've heard that some inmates since are not gonna be executed the way things are kind of like the situation they have at San Quentin versus going to one into the prisons we talked about as it was explained to me there is a a minimum amount of square footage the inmate is required to recieve by some consent decree and because the cells in San Quentin are less than double that minimum square footage as long as you're in San Quentin you get an individual cell there was also some concern from the other side that putting death row inmates in with the general population could be dangerous for the general population inmates because after all these are murderers yeah these are these are really the worst psychos imaginable I think in a welding some of the other prisoners or guards of course most murders in California or not on death row those on death row or a small percentage and in certainly in some cases they would be exceptionally dangerous and and should be kept in very very secure facilities and that's something that CDC are has to decide case by case there are gang members and then on death row who were capable of committing murders on the outside through their gang connections I got to happened I guess there is there's no legal option to challenge Newsome's moratorium is there that's the problem the constitution gives the governor reprieve power without any restrictions on it so the only real options to end a moratorium or either to amend the constitution or get rid of news it's going to happen this year yeah too bad all right can't we rage you know that's yeah I know he's it's a terrible terrible he's brought so much pain I am please send the timing to any prop sixty six was so great we got a past there's some good things in there about speeding up the appeals process and then we got this guy well you know it is order carefully I think it it was the fact that prop sixty six was succeeding that may damage the order that's yeah I just played very true yeah and it's a retaliation all right thanks can't for coming on can writing our criminal justice legal foundation legal director right prop sixty six or six suspected twenty sixteen the one that we pushed for the ballot to voter guide and got past it's going to speed up the appeals process but also when there because it's making news now was the chance to put some of these inmates from San Quentin moving to general prison populations around the state and that's what new since moving to do people have to vote for different breed a governor because it you're going to run AT last you to run I'd have everybody I'd have everybody executed by now you kid no way for making a big big show I doubt I'd go there myself I'd be Poland switches in general the "What if in order for you to throw the ball down the field you opposite Lyman had to home to give your quarterback an opportunity to throw the ball down the field? So. How's that more of a glaring played than what you just happen? Well, it's just it's more obvious. What happens down the field? It's more replay -able reviewable where I can look at it and say aha they missed that call skill. You seem playing where you seem to obviously get hail. And you said that's a whole. I have you're right about that. I just don't want to open all the pain doors box. I wanna fix the most, AVI. What if you don't want won't wants make out of the box keeping clo-? Yeah. But I want this is the biggest snake? I wanna cut the head off the biggest. Yeah. Skip human Elleman the human elements always gonna come. And it's not perfect. You say like Jerry Joan knows give it when I'm really, Liz. You know, we're still talking about it a week later. So I guess it sells the NFL. But this is the one where the old thing about any publicity is good publicity. I don't think this is good about inability. We Atlanta Atlanta. We welcome to talk about so rounds and the patriots. We're talking about you. If you. You're not allowed to why you talking. I'm sure Commissioner Goodell will be asked about this on Wednesday. And he probably will we will take a look at this at our competition committee. I'm sure we'll be able to stay here. Yeah. You're gonna have hang out on Saturday with him or. Things to say or coat of commissioned. You a great job. Yeah. Give Bayless a great job trying to get on your side. All right. Six hundred people signed a petition to have the game replayed. This is not going away anytime soon this country. I tell you was not coming back anytime soon that game may not come back. But doesn't mean the people aren't going to be talking about it and thought about it. And I'm going to say one more time. I am not saying the Rams aren't a word the Super Bowl team because they are. I got I got no problem with that. I just have a problem with the game got decided, I'm not even sure the saints are better than the Rams the ball the game was in their building. Or they haven't lost underpaid and off. And so the Rams. They they pulled it off good for them. And they will be a worthy opponent for the New England is okay. That's all. I know. It's all went off right now all over this ram. You got him. Maybe how many cases do you got them? But we will see. We got all we got. I heard I we have big Anthony Davis news is he joined forces with a Braun. We'll discuss all the latest. All right. We have huge news in the NBA, Anthony Davis agent. Rich Paul has told the pelicans that he has no intention of signing a contract extension and has requested a trade Paul is also the agent for LeBron. And he told the span quote, Anthony wants to be traded to a team that allows him the chance to win consistency consistently and compete for a championship. Eighty can become a free agent at the end of next season. But there has been growing speculation that he could join the Braun in LA, Shannon. We'll eighty Laker before the February seventh trade deadline. Say yes camping. I just say I do because I don't see how it happens, really. Because what we've seen skipping that. These teams are unwilling to accommodate the player that request out. Remember, Paul George says, I want to go to LA this. Okay. We're gonna ship you own your waiting. Okay. See in Indiana, Indiana. You remember the wish list for kuwa-? Yeah. He had Lakers clippers image about Toronto. As far as okay, you go to Toronto and even carry on his first list..

"Parents wanna folk focus on one hour three years. Yes. Minder? Coordinate dexterity? Yes, don't just play one. Yeah. Build up his one muscle group. Thanks for joining us today. Appreciate it. Did the Rams no the Cowboys defensive signals on Saturday night, the fans give it to them. All the Cowboys will not be in that game because their season ended on Saturday. But now, it appears the Rams might have had a big advantage to Rams offensive lineman told the ringer that the Cowboys defensive line was tipping their signals before up to ninety percent of their snaps ram center. John Sullivan said, quote, we had a lot of tips and tells on what they were going to do in front of us that can be a big reason why the Rams rush for two hundred seventy three yards that game joined by FOX NFL analyst Marshall earth, Mark. This is true. How much help the Rams played offense of lines. I mean, it certainly there's no question it's help. And we all tip our stances to some degree of like if you ever played against me. You knew of I was pulling you know of coming off the ball you knew vase gonna pass tip my stance. Everybody does to a certain degree here. Here's the issue. If you come into a game plan where you're playing against as zone team wide, sewn in the Rams as much as Sean Sean McVay likes called the allusion of complexity, right? We're gonna show you a lot of stuff a lot of window-dressing lot of motion. But we run eighteen nineteen hand of I sat with him, Shannon. He said, hey, listen. All's we do run exactly what you guys ran on the nineties. That's what we do. That's our zone running game. Now, I will tell you this. You can tip the stance. You can tip what you're doing. And that's an advantage to the officers. No question. But the way Dallas approach this game trying to run stunts in the running game is the exact the worst thing you can. Do for zone running team because you create a situation where you're telling me as soon as you pinch, man. It's my read in zone if I'm working together with Shannon, and you pinch. You know, I pass it off to Shannon. I go to the next level. Or if I'm working with the center, I pass it off to my center, I take the next level. And essentially what happens to us you take one guy out this way. And then one guy's looping around. He takes himself out of the play. And it's like the parting the Red Sea in what you saw on a consistent basis was the talent the Dallas Cowboys just getting absolutely thunderstruck right in the middle of the football field just visited because they're trying to run games to stop zone running game. And you the worst thing on where you just take whoever lines up well zone an area. So there's there's different everybody's everybody's run on the same track. But obviously there's different zones depending on where they're lined up. But if I'm a center, this is a center in this is a car. We're all coming off like this. And if there has to be defensive tackle, we're going to take those steps to take him. And then wherever he goes like we just take him further, and he wants to go the next guy rolls up to the second level than linebacker level. So that's what zone is and they base themselves out of a wide zone system. And if you're gonna the raiders used to do is to us all the time, and you may get us for your you may stop us for yard or minus yard. But you know, what's going to be yard mandis yard two yards. Four yards. Forty two yard touchdown. That's how it works. When that's the way, you try to defend that. And the fact that they didn't truly adjust that over the course of the football game. That's not so much tipping your stances. That's just bad coaching. I agree with that. You see skip. You look at you, look as you call the dick. Hey JJ. Garrison go six five five six tiger go thirty five put him there. The problem in zone schemes you don't block a man you block area. It what you're doing. When you run out of one area, you make it very easy for the second. Gotta to climb get on your linebackers. You want him to have a struggle. You wanted to be a struggle with you run out of the play..
