"A player on 7 20 w G. N and we're talking to Kevin Cronin of R E O Speedwagon. Kev. Early on, the band didn't get much respect until you started touring with Aerosmith in the 19 seventies, There was a new level of respect, and it taught you how to give that respect to other bands. For years to come. Oh, absolutely, You know, we we were the the, uh, the that the Midwest that we were the perfect opening act for the Midwest. But we were really pretty popular, you know, and in the Heartland and so when, when National touring acts would come through the Midwest, they pick up area and we would be the special guests on the tour. And but we were pretty popular, and so some of these bands would see that we were going over really well, and they would basically sabotaged. They messed with the sound, you know, turn the lights off at us and stuff and and it was kind of a drag, honestly, but um, but then we then we toured with Aerosmith and I'll never forget the first. The first show, Perry walked in the dressing room introduced himself. They you know they they welcomed us into to have the after show meal with them and party with them and do the whole thing, And their thing was a member, Steven Tyler told me that their thing was they wanted us to be as good as possible for the sake of the audience, but it also fired them up. That you know that we would put the bar at a certain level and they were so good that they weren't threatened by anybody. But it would inspire them to even play better and remember thinking Well, yeah, that's the right. It makes sense. Absolutely. We always you know, we always take the Aerosmith throughout rather than you know, not to mention any names of the band who sabotaged us. But and I won't. But there were plenty of them. So all of a sudden you have six albums under your belt. You can tune a piano, but you can't tuna fish released in 1978, which you know received so much FM radio airplay. Two million copies, ultimately achieving double platinum status. Was that the album that you finally said why you guys are really on your way? Well, we stopped pretty. We felt pretty confident with the songs that we had written for that album. And and, uh, so many of the albums that we made before that we kind of felt like the record company would assign us a producer. But producer never really kind of got what we did. And so the records would come out not sounding like us and and we would. It was really frustrating for a number of years. And so that album we went in. And you know, Gary and I went into this meeting with the bigwigs at epic records, and we like We're like, you know, we demanded that either we're going to produce this record, or we're not going to go in the studio. You know, we're thought we were big shots, right? And then, to our surprise, they were like, okay. And we looked at each other and we were like Did that just happen? What do we do? We? You know, we're just a couple of rock musicians. Uh, sure Enough, we kind of figured it out. And, uh, so, yeah, you can tune a piano, which get tuna fish was the first record that we We all kind of went alright? Yeah, this kind of kind of sounds like us, you know, so it was And you know, we had rolled the changes to fly. We had some. We had some pretty strong material. So it kind of worked. Oh, I remember slow dancing in time for me to fly at my seventh grade dance in 1979. It was a big night for me, Kevin. Big Night. Really? All right. Well, good. Happy idea, You know, um are you know you broke into the mainstream again with with hi Infidelity sold more than nine million copies. Keep on loving you. Take it on the run. Don't let him go. There was a transformation of the band a bit too, a little bit more popular. Music rather than harder. Rock was this was the band just evolving at the time, or was this more of a conscious effort to head in that direction? No, We never had any conscious effort in the in the history of our band, and everything that we've done is pretty much been some sort of a happy accident, and, uh, And the high Fidelity record was no exception. I literally I'll never forget that I kind of woke up in the middle of the night and and wrote, Keep on loving you and Uh, you know, if you if you really pay attention to the to the lyrics, lyrics versus of that song. It's It's not a not a real happy song. No, and no people play it like at weddings and stuff, And I'm thinking to myself sometimes. Are you really listening? They were prompt themes. You listen to the lyrics to the B section that hurts first, but, uh, yeah. I mean, you know, but when I played that, for for the guys, it was like You know, I know that that's not an R E O Speedwagon selling and finally rich red plug in and you know a Les Paul. You're a Marshall Stack and turn got this nasty sound. And I think that his intention was basically to drown me out in the rehearsal hall. But I was like, dude, that's it exactly what this song needed and So you know, that's kind of where that the you know, we kind of stumbled into something. Which is what we are. That's all we ever do. We just kind of stumble our way through. And some, you know, people kind of go. Yeah, we dig that. Or,.

Heart radio goes one on one with Phil from Def Leppard taking us inside how their creative process can work. It will snow everywhere and I was humming This idea How money into my phone off? You know what about pull over? It is really dangerous down this country lane Snow and I stepped all over when I got to the studio. Okay, Quick, Stop everyone, Vivi, and you play these notes on the guitar. On. I've harmed my melody and then hand it into a Dictaphone. So that was really cool of doing it. But every song at a different vibe to It was like doing a different project for each song. And that was just a wonderful thing. I don't Keep listening to I heart radio from or from your favorite artists. I heart radio goes one on one with Tim McGraw to discuss songwriting and song selection. You know for me, it's about the soul. You know, the song has toe hold up and my song Holds up it holds up. If it doesn't it doesn't sometimes all know because of the singer or because they're a friend of mine, and I'll get it through them. But most the time I really don't look into the songwriters are because I don't want to be influenced by that too much. So I just want to listen to the music and see what strikes me and there's sort of a visceral reaction. Which is what you have to have to start with. And something that doesn't sound like, you know, upset that enough already or set in a different way. So it's just always interesting to me to see how its source story goes. Keep listening to I heart radio for more Tim McGraw and all your favorite artists I Heart radio goes one on one with Mike from R E m sharing how they felt being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. It's weird to think about because it felt really odd to be going in there is a bandit was still Functional inactive. It was like taking one night off to do a little retrospective, which is not something we think about really ever but for one night, and it was, I think it was just much for friends and family as it was for us. It was really, really nice to include all the people that have No, you know, raised us or or helped us along all those years, and you don't have a good time doing and then the very next day, you know, we're all thinking about the next record. Keep listening to my heart radio for Maura of R E. M and all your favorite artists I Heart radio goes one on one with Billy Joe from Green Day about how the band tries to maintain their unique voice within the music industry. It's one thing that gets lost when you start listening to people about whether or not what is quote unquote. You have to write a hit single because then suddenly you're not visualizing your song or visualizing yourself. You're just trying to manipulate yourself into something that you're not. I think that's what gets lost and being in just like we got into Iraq because we want to be completely independent of all of that. You know, we didn't want to have a boss. We didn't want to have any rules. Keep listening to I heart radio firm or from your favorite artists. I heart radio goes one on one with Daryl Hall as he flashes back to give us some insight on the private eyes video from back in the day. So we're up there and I'm looking at the stupid video and they have a jumping around with these stupid suits on And I thought it was a joke. I thought the whole thing was a joke on then, all I could think of was I got to get up in the morning about two hours Sleep and I gotta go to Cincinnati. That's what I was thinking that if you look at me singing private eyes, that's what was going on my head. And the other thing I can tell you about that video is the T Bone woke was the first video that he had ever done. And he said, What do I do? What do I do? I said you'd be the guy that just stands there and doesn't do anything. And so if you look at that video, you just seem to pose going like this. That's what I told him to do. Keep listening to I heart radio for more Daryl Hall and all your favorite artists. I. Heart radio goes one on one with Luke Bryan to talk about pushing through hard times. You know, I meet a lot of people that were there are going through ups and downs, and I just want people happy. You know, when you see people that are there in this world where they're in a vicious cycle of kind of despair all the time and you talk to him, And there's always these moments of drama almost becomes a habit of being Kind of discombobulated. You know, I want people to wake up in the morning. Try toe get back to being happy. And what makes you smile and what gets you through this tough life And it's okay to buy magic. I think these could be useful for training us to have Lucid dreaming, But then it always leaves the question of what are you going to do once you're lucid in the dream, and that's the real spiritually question. Not just can I get lucid? And the machine helped me become lucid. But then once I'm lucid, do I know how to operate in that altered state of consciousness? Can you physically heal in a dream? If you let's say, God forbid you have cancer. Can your cane your dreams carrier? Well, I think we can. Well, first of all, I think we could have dreams that give us diagnostic and prescriptive advice that could lead to healing. I think you're asking. Could the dream itself actually be transformational and healing in and of itself? Right, Right, Right. Yeah. Um, I've never had that experience myself. I've talked to people more often of with psychological or spiritually illness that feel like they were transformed and healed in a dream. I think it's possible if there's such a mind body connection for something that literally be changed in the flesh by a spiritually experience in a dream. Wow. Accurate would you say Mark Edgar Casey wasabi about The health issues and everything he had This bizarre map of the United States flooded hasn't happened yet. Maybe he was years ahead of time. So I think when it comes to the health diagnosis atyour cases two sons once tried to do a retrospective research project and Get some assessment of accuracy, and they arrived in a figure of 85% accuracy. That's huge on the health diagnoses. He only gave two dozen of these prophecy readings, some of which, as you just described Describe a map of America sometime in the future that's largely flooded or this southeastern United States, parts of the West and so forth. I don't know Some of the climate change research is making me think Maybe he was tuning into things for maybe not this century, but the next century. Might make might have been years ahead of time. Daniel and Belmont, California. Hi, Daniel. Welcome to the show. Go ahead, George. It's Your Time's up in friend Daniel. How are you? There you go. Good. Damn loving the show guys. Um, wanted Tonto in 30 seconds post. Maybe, like five type of comments here real quick. And it would be, um, dreams could be coming in from quantum entanglement from planet in front of us. And, uh, I had a pre cognitive dream last night and I saw it today. You know, I woke up there was ah, leaky, uh, water pump ticket to the mechanic, and I saw everything laid out just like in the dream person. My comments are this um neuroscientists from USC? Ted Berger has digitally enhanced humans. Years back, he would flash a camera at a digital broadcast charismatic TV screen. These in house humans would come in. He's asked him. What did you dream about last night? And it's exactly what he had pointed The camera. At another comment is, um What if, um Uh, I was able to put you in a room with projectors and show you the dreams you had last night and throughout your life and then push a recording button, Play button and play the song You woke up with. Another one is a lot musk announced nearly George I've been telling you unconditional in half since 2007 right and then 2013. Barack Obama has the brain initiative. You got the human brain project 27 countries in Europe. And now lot muskets in the game contender. Full competitors announces neural link in 2017, and it's already been going. It's totally covert out here in San Francisco. There's no address up for it. My resumes over there on their desk, too. For a lab tech. Um I wanted to say this. Is that? What if I could pay you for working for me while I'm in your dream? Haven't do something creative or whatever it is and then just send you a check. Um, the last comment. I want to make George and this question at the end of it for both you folks. Is that You know, with over 100,000 digitally enhanced humans here in the United States for vision correction hearing loss, Parkinson's. Do you guys think that alone must neural network neural link? Is already giving these abusive neural networks or run for their money here on the planet, and I'll take my answer off the air. Thank you, gentlemen. Thank you. It's very conceivable. That musk in his work could be years ahead of time. Mark You want to jump in on any of this? I feel like I don't know, Enoughto come in very cogently, but I do think we're going to be surprised in the decades ahead. The contributions made to science and understanding consciousness. Mm. I think so, too. Maybe shooter than later. Yeah. Donna in North Carolina, east of the Rockies. Go ahead, Donna. Hi, George. Hi there, Mark. Listen, I've had what I believe is the premonition and very strong one. That was I don't ever had anything like this. I was dreaming your regular going variety dream. And all of a sudden This other one column premonition. It just comes in all the sudden. I am and I'm pulling up in a car. I mean, a total different Hi. It's not like reality that room, the spirits and now that what liked my dream state? It was almost like in between. You can understand. Okay. Anyway, Here's the deal. I'm driving up in the car. Is that night and I'm happy, you know, and I pull up and I'm talking to someone that I don't know. Yeah, I know it in the drink. I can I can sense it there. But now I don't know this person. But hey, standing there, I say the background behind them. It's that night and I know this place. It's like I'm familiar. All this happening in seconds because that's how it comes in. Um I pull up and I'm just happy and I'm like, Hey, you know, and he lanes down and very all of a sudden does it changes from up two seconds? He grabbed the riches in the corridor, and he grabs me. And I'm looking and I'm start. You know what you know, and Look at his face in a spice is looking at me, and it's not like a jovial person anymore is eyes are looking at me like he's a scientist looking at him hug. Marcus got a He's just It reminds me of how they say it's somebody psychotic killer gets you and they look at you that weird way, but that's what he was looking at me and I need it. It's like that I was God. And my heart just started. Hang on. Then I woke up. I woke up. I woke up out of everything. And and I didn't you. No, I didn't forget it. Um so I need that when I pulled up. I recognize the background. It was that night, and it was I saying, like I had been there before, Okay? And you and you might have been Listen, that three of form nine Actor Deitz. George Out of the blue you add in the blues. Uh, I start going to this place. Made and a friend of mine. It's got bluegrass music and stuff like that, because they're on the 39. Pulling in and as I'm pulling in is the sign Heiss and I've been there before. I would call that a pre cognitive dream mark with you. The question is how in the world the people tap into that there's something about the nature of time. That is not as linear as our conscious material. Minds perceive it to be and even physics is saying that time is much more. Nuanced and more dimensional than this kind of linear notion of time. I think a lot of the colors here having experiences of this and their dream world or out of body or shamanistic experiences. In which they're encountering dimensions where time means something different than it means to the rational mind. Do you think certain groups of people could be more tuned into this than others? I happen to think this audience is tuned into a lot of things. Yeah. Hell and open to the possibility. Yes. So you know they would beam or apt. To have these kinds of experiences when they if they're more open to it, I think probably so just just a willingness to have an open mind about these things. I love the little spot that was during the commercial break about a half an hour ago. But your voice talking about You don't take sides that you really try to have an open mind on this show in different points of view, And I think each of us needs to cultivate that kind of openness.

Stewardesses is the longest word type with only the left hand. Huh? And lollypop is the longest word type with your right hand. But you're going through those in your head now and on the keyboard. No word in the English language rhymes with month orange, silver or purple. Dripped D r E A M D R E M T is the only English word that ends in the letters Mt and thought about that our ears. They're always the same size from birth. Our nose and ears never stopped growing. Yeah, No, I know that one. The words race car, kayak and level are the same. Whether they're read left to right or right to left. Yeah, that makes sense kind of palindromes. Right? There are only four words in the English language which end and ended dust. The owe us tremendous, horrendous. Stupendous and hazard us didn't know that one either. There are two words in the English language that have all five vowels in their correct order. Epstein Meus and facetious Bet You didn't know that one. And don't really care. Right? Typewriter is the longest word. That could be made using the letters on Lee on one roll of the keyboard. I think the only state that you can do on one rose, Alaska's I remember. Jiffy is an actual unit of time for 1/100 of a second did not know that. Ah, Shark is the only fish that could blink on Lee fish that can blinked with both eyes. Okay? Cat has 32 mussels and each year and a goldfish as a memory span of Three seconds. Sometimes I think that's me right there. Uh, last time I'm not gonna go through, you know, there's quite a few more so I'll stop here and ostriches eye is bigger than its brain. That was Conway Twitty, George Jones. Vince Gill and Vince was always in the middle. And what was this was like I shouldn't be closing. I shouldn't be after either of you and they they would fight and flip coins as to who could go first, so they could go home is hilarious that I'm not to that point. I like closing. I'm not in any area. Was funny, though, to see Scotty McCreery at the festival, and I got together with him that day and said, Hey, we come sing celebrity during my show he did. "Show would be better if you could swear not something. Sometimes I listen to these shows that can swear it seems like they You go out of the way to swear that's not good. But then again, if you get a bunch of guys joking around with each other and nobody else is around, you know the swearing begins anyway, so I don't know where the fine line is. If you're going to put together a show like that, where It was just natural. That would be the beauty of being able to swear on the air right now that you would just do it all the time for shock effect, but that whenever In natural conversation. It came up it will be allowed to come up. I'll figure it out tomorrow. I'll decide whether or not gonna swear O on the important I think. Wait a minute. Here's the law. We can't okay. Oh, man, You know what they are crushing my creativity. All right, Paul Stanley presents Give me some more entertainment stories. All right. This is the Big one. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, which is in Cleveland, Ohio, is re opening this weekend after being closed for two months as if I needed another reason to visit Cleveland in the winner. Well, they have good restaurants. I knew that. Do you think they have good restaurants? Good. Sports bar right across from the field where the team play. They don't know what they're called. Now that took away their name. They didn't It's Cleveland, but they're not allowed to call them that. You know the you know, they I word. I can't say that the guy all the other evening, the baseball team. There's not the Browns. I mean, the brown talking about the baseball team, not the book. Okay, I get that. But I didn't know that. Is there gonna be called the Cleveland baseball team? When we're gonna be called the Cleveland I words? Cleveland didn't know didn't wanna go. Oi, Words rolled right off the tongue works for me, You know, So you're in the know you're in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I love rock and roll like you just got it right. She didn't write. It was a band called Arrow from England. But, uh, I love rock and roll, but I find the rock and Roll Hall of Fame to be completely Ridiculous. You don't like the way it is, You think exhibit. Well, look, I've never been there have only problem Was she rock and roll? I don't She's talented. She was talented is that she was just beautiful, talented lady and it's a shame that that's what happened towards that It happened. I get I get you on a rant about the rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and I think I've done it many times. And then the audience gets bored, and I always have to make the point that Rock and roll is not a place that should have a Hall of fame. Now there should be places where it's celebrated museums, if you will. Yeah, I'd love to see the Sergeant Pepper's outfits and, yeah, eventually be places where it's celebrated the place in Seattle that I've never been to, I think kind of does that It's just sort of celebrates. Rock and roll and you see all there's the guitar that Kurt Cobain had or something. I mean, that's fine or theory, journal lyrics written down by Bob Dylan of Blah, blah, blah. Whatever. Celebration of rock and roll. I think it's fine, but here's the years and I'm gonna go into my rant here. Here's the problem. The problem is the greatest rock and roll band of all time may not have been heard by almost anyone, meaning it could have been some band from Minneapolis. And the replacement. They were. Oh, no, I'm not talking even getting that big. I'm talking about. Ah, band That was some people saw them for two or three years, but at some 30.1 guy decided I'm going back to school. Another guy got married had to go get a job, Whatever. And they only lasted like two or three years and the people who saw them remember it will never forget it. But most people didn't see him and they don't get it. The reason I say that you can't have a rock and roll Hall of Fame is because I don't care how small of a town you are in If you have the potential to one day, be a great pitcher. At the pro level. The pro level will find you. The coach is at the small high school will talk to whatever you'll end up going to a larger college will be seen by scouts. You'll get into the system, but the rock and roll band that only exists for three or four years that goes away. It's not going to ever be seen by the level of the people who decide that this this was the greatest rock and roll band or one of the greatest rock and roll bands. My other rant, and I will do it again whenever the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame comes up. Is to say some people argue about certain things like you. Look it, uh Eli Manning is going to get into the Hall of Fame, right? He's going to get in the Hall of Fame because he won two Super Bowls. Right. His stats are not all that great, but he won two Super Bowls, and he's a driving reason why they won those Super Bowls, so he is going to get into the Hall of Fame. By that measure. No matter how snobby you are. Sticks and R E O Speedwagon should be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. They sold Brazilians albums they sold out..

"Welcome. Thank you. I want to start with some of these new directives that we've been hearing about, like not bringing in patients who have little likelihood of survival. Can you just put that in context for us? How extraordinary is that measure? Well, actually, it is best practice to resuscitate patients in cardiac arrest. In the field where there are found. That is our normal protocol in L, a county so the shift towards not transporting patients who do not have Restoration of pulse is a relatively small change. These patients have very limited chance of survival. And so these are the patients that were asking the paramedics to call into our base. Hospitals discussed with the base physician and determine if further resuscitation is futile and therefore terminate resuscitation on scene. We are continuing to resuscitate. Patients in cardiac arrest, and we continue to transport all patients in whom are paramedics are able to resuscitate in the field. I do also want to address the oxygen situation. How concerned should Angelenos be about the availability of oxygen right now? Because we are hearing from people like Barbara for rare? Who's the L, A County public health director. She's saying that January will likely be the worst month on record for L. A. So I imagine oxygen supplies will only get stretched even more in the weeks to come. Yes, we have made this move because of a limited supply of portable oxygen tanks. So we are having difficulty getting additional portable oxygen tanks for R E. M s system and filling the oxygen tanks and because of the paramedics are Any MTs are spending more time in the field with patients. They are transporting longer distances because of hospital closures. They're spending more time waiting to offload patients at hospitals on these patients need oxygen. And so they're using a lot of oxygen in these small portable tanks, and if we cannot get additional tanks and cannot fill the tanks, we risk to run out of oxygen for patients who need it. So this directive is meant to conserve oxygen in order to make sure that we continue to have enough oxygen to treat patients. Really, really need the oxygen. You mentioned that the waits for ambulances to offload patients at hospitals is getting longer and I want to talk about that because obviously, paramedics are not doctors. What is being done to address that situation these longer wait times for ambulances at hospitals. Yes, we are implementing a surge response to develop ambulance receiving spaces of these hospitals. These are intended to be climate controlled spaces where AMs can offload patients. On. And instead of having each individual unit usually two paramedics or to him, he empties monitoring a single patient. They will be able to offload the patients and have a paramedic or empty as appropriate, staffing the area and monitoring several patients at a time. This is, of course, being done in conjunction with a hospital triage officer. And we have a medical officer on duty 24 7 to help consults in terms of identifying the most critical patients and getting them into the hospital's quickly as possible and determining which patients may be stable, say to go to the waiting room and be triaged and through The walk in process and by this way, we're trying to get more ambulances back into the field to respond to the critical emergencies and reduce the burden on the hospitals as well, because we know they don't have the staff to monitor these patients. But with these patients need monitoring, and they need oxygen, right? So as reports are coming out of Los Angeles, but the city and the county what do you want people to understand about the situation here in Los Angeles? The reality is this. Things are worse than people think. And I say that because I see how people are, you know, still congregating in groups and Making decisions to have family gatherings or New year's parties. And these decisions are what continues to impact our health care system, so I know it's been said so many times. But what we're trying to convey to everyone from the public health sector is continue the measures that people did such a good job of in April that will prevent the spread of covert. They're part of you. That's just getting tired of repeating this guidance. Stay at home. Don't congregate. Are you getting tired of repeating that? No, I just wish we had a better way of conveying it away. That really convinces people that it's absolutely necessary if we had on the way to message this to show people what we're seeing. And, you know, convey that tragedy that is coming because we have not been able to fully contain this virus. Dr Nicole Boston, assistant medical director at the Los Angeles County Emergency Medical Services Agency. Thank you very much for giving us your time today. Absolutely. Thank you. After nearly two months of extra campaigning, and nearly a billion dollars of spending Senate runoff elections here in Georgia are coming to a close tonight. The stakes are already high, incredibly high with control of the U. S Senate on the line and making the whole season more intense, the very process of who votes and how Became a central part of the debate around this election. I want to bring in reporter Stephen Fowler of Georgia Public Broadcasting. He's also the host of the podcast battleground ballot box and he has been tracking every twist and turn of this election. Hey there, Steven, How's it going? So far so good, But you know, still a few hours to go for the polls close. I know we were out talking to voters of polling stations today you've been doing the same wood would have seen how is voting in Georgia gone so far. Well, I just stepped back from my neighborhood polling place where there was no line and for the most part that's been pretty consistent across the state short. That's what we saw this morning to you know, Part of it is a ballot that only has two Senate races and a statewide public service commission race, part of it because many people early voted this election, But there's a few out liars. We went toe one large Middle Georgia pole near Senator David Produce hometown. About 1000 people had voted around lunchtime, and it's the type of precinct Republicans need to show up to cut into Democrats early voting lead. But then there's people like Wayne and Beth Lever that make things even closer when it comes to the final total. Well, uh, we voted against the Republicans this time and I've never voted Democrat. So it was a big change for me. More than three million people have voted early in person or absentee. So much of the vote has already been decided, and it's expected to be super close. Super close, All right, And this election, as you know, has been almost a smudge about how the votes are counted as who is actually on the ballot. How has that affected who is showing up to vote? Well. Mary Louise. More than a million of those ballots are absentee by mail, but Republicans have a lot of distrust of them. Many voters, especially in northwest Georgia, which is a strong Republican stronghold, are showing up to vote reluctantly because they don't trust the voting machines either in this comes as just this morning, a federal court shut down another lawsuit filed by President Trump. To invalidate seeking to invalidate Georgia's elections, saying that there was problems with the voting machines and absentee ballots and so between the holidays and the pandemic and turnout models being all over the place. It's really hard to say what the outcome is other than a lot of people don't trust how we vote anymore. Mm. Speaking of every twist and turn that you've had to follow it. Since the November election, there have been three recounts in Georgia. And yet President Trump and his allies keep hammering election officials here in Georgia for far irregularities with their falsely calling where irregularities crimes was the word that the president used at the rally he held in Dalton, Georgia, last night. Power election workers, election staff election officials, How are they holding up under the pressure? Well, you have to remember that even though today is Election Day election season, and Georgia has really been going on since September because of all the training and the testing and the early voting and the counting and the recounting and the recounting of the recounting so people are exhausted physically and mentally, and we've seen some polls have fewer workers because people have dropped out or just tapped out of doing it. You've seen the secretary of state's office get attacked publicly and privately by the president and other top Republicans on do you've seen threats pushed by bad actors on social media, targeting some workers by name, and so it really is just exhausting, let alone the actual political campaign side of this from the election Administration side. I know thousands of people that will be glad once this is all over. So with the finish line in sight, like a mirage, after all of this, what are you gonna be watching for tonight? Really? The key thing is how many Republicans show up to vote today in strongholds in rural parts of the state..

"It is Frankie Boyer. This is biz talk radio and joining us and welcome back and to reduce that he is the CEO. Of R E. M Realty in New York. And he's a licensed real estate broker Sellers, representative specialist Accredited buyer representative and short sales and foreclosure resource specialist and we hear Andrew all the time in the media talking about real estate issues. And where are we for this year? 2021. Andrew. What are the four housing market predictions that you have for 2021? Hey, Welcome back. Yeah. What I have predicted for this year is pretty interesting. So based on what's been going on with, you know, the real estate market being hot right now, properties are in few and far in between is not a lot of properties listed, and a lot of that is due to social distancing. People obviously don't want to have strangers walking through their homes, and then there's still a bunch of people who don't want to be going through other people's homes. So With all that in mind. My prediction is assume, is this right now They're distributing vaccines and as the vaccines get out there, and we have to get through a normal flu season. At some point, we could probably get some good news that that make life is probably gonna return back to normal sometime around mid spring. What's gonna happen is a whole bunch of people are going to start putting their houses on market that wanted to sell and just have not begun the process of relocating because again, they're trying to practice or something. And what's going to happen is that there's these people coming on and then in addition to that all the foreclosures Have been put on hold. And I'm talking about foreclosure sales from 18, 4019 and 2020 because there's usually a backlog of properties to be sold off at auctions. Courthouses. All of those are going to begin coming back. And there's gonna be a flood of properties sometime, you know, around maybe the beginning of summer. So the market the way that you're looking at it, the market is still going to be on an upswing. Right. So what's gonna happen? Is it soon as we have this injection of properties there's gonna be two things that take place one. You're gonna have the smart savvy buyers who are paying attention and realizing a while things are open. They're going to run out there and grab property. At the same time, there will be a little bit of a dip. And what people offering because, you know, obviously when there's more when there's more inventory than there's a surplus, the price will go down a little bit, but it's not going to stay there for long. Because as soon as everyone catches wind that allow, look, look how many more properties of popping up look how much more inventory there is, from the foreclosures, investors themselves to have been waiting. They have not been able to purchase properties to eat a rehab them or you know what I mean by rehabbing I mean, flip them. Or Dubai and holds an open up rentals. All of those people who have been waiting and keeping their eyes on foreclosure sales and auctions are going to see it when it starts. They're gonna grab it. And then there's probably gonna come to market. The smart buyers will quickly grab the property. Once everyone catches wind, like the whole market knows what's going on. You could expect the prices to start climbing again. So we're gonna have a good look like a U shape on on a chart. Do you understand? I'm saying Yes, Yes, I get it. Yes, yes. Andrew. What's going to happen with all of the foreclosures and evictions and people not able to make their payments? That kind of thing. That's a very It's a very debated topic at the moment, because you actually in New York. I just saw that they are proposed the legislation like thinking I'm pretty sure it's about the past or if it did not pass already. That was saying that now Not only are they providing relief for renters, but they even included landlords. In this Relief and the bill. What it said was, you know if you can claim a financial hardship if your landlord that I think it was that owns less than 10 rental units. You can claim a financial hardship and you cannot be penalized by the bank if you have not been able to make your mortgage payments. And that's specific to New York. Now, whether that's going to trickle out to every other state is up for grabs, because some will some won't There's something has to be done.
