"Special Trie Boorda wars alumni. This'll be his fourth fight in Baltimore's. It's the return of Queen City Cobra Anthony. Edwards. What's going on? Good afternoon my friend how are you? It's been admitted man has been a minute since. The ecosystem has seen you chat. A been a while. So last we heard you know obviously, you had some injuries that all that he'll love or you fill in one hundred percent. For the most part of held up I'm. Having a few other low issues, but it's not really slowing me down. So you're not. Just the Nixon. Broza camp man. something going back and say. Yeah. I mean I seen the bag footage you put in the border wars chat. and. You look different. You look. You in harder and you look. A Lot. Man. You lost me said you look different. I've seen the bad words that you put in a chat and You look like hitting a lot harder and faster. You know even even you know technically I I felt like the punches were straighter I don't know are you working with someone new or is this still you just training you I mean what's going on? Exactly? I got a new zero you. I haven't. I haven't been able to trail train with any of my old trainer. So I'm just kind of we'RE GONNA my on part time and then got cut capital coaches in their work with me miss a couple of decent level amateurs inner. They got the University of Cincinnati's of Boxing Club in there. So a couple of guys America fight a little bit. I'm basically the only slick black fighter Outta butts but. So that I'm missing but You. Know I, just think Kaunda? Working more on offense my defense system. Based off the bag footage. It looked like that you look strata you look faster. Indefinitely. Is Still had that that Cobra like pop. So what are you know about sunny m and what was the thought process I feel like like An Ohio native in Shawn Porter he just faced. You know. Sebastian for Mela who was fairly unknown to the casual fans but US hardcore. You know. But the ecosystem, the border award system. Why give them an opportunity? I'm not really somebody adopted silence. No matter who it is, you know each time I I would prefer to get somebody suffered in the last. You know what? I'm saying I don't want to. Necessarily bounced back but you know even even in defeat is still hard to get somebody to. Hook. Realistically say my name So. As thousand struggle. So he was basically only one really wanted to get his feet wet and. I mean, did you Did you get taken back a little bit. Like Him. Not. Completely different than last time and probably the time before that. Did you get a little bit taken aback by that that he he didn't know you but I mean the way they they they make it out. They say they picked you. So it's like obviously he had the ability to see you he he had all the border wars spice to see you so. None of that worries you that he knows you and you don't know him. Not really want really honestly I just I take like I do now as far like I don't know any of those guys you. See 'em warm up and that's all the footage I need or that's I'll John. Given. So I gotTa make do with what I got and so it's not about worrying about what he's got. He may know about me just worried about what I'm GonNa do because he truly does it know. Now. Do you have a plan as far as like what the Queen City Cobra. Is, GonNa do and board awards or are you taking one five at a time? And then you know Gallo trip miss a plan must be bigger I guess. I guess. Realistically I. Want My rematch but you know some guys just Rather, play diva than anything. and. So I was just like, okay, wow, this take this and and you know next fight outlets the we'll see who's available would eliminator could be or is there a title shot or whatever it? Whoever's weight division? and. After that after I get the hopefully, some point get my back. And then you know is is been talking the first thing. I said was like you know Midi. At some point, he I, love. To. Locate. Get it. Many must be feeling the pressure everybody doesn't. Says, his name Jesus. Big News Because like I was only what it did it. What other you know while ago probably about three years ago and That being that long. You know what? But I mean I I don't know maybe. I. Think. Maybe. And this is just me but I think meaty. A couple of people that he legitimately believes that can do something minute rain that's coming up system and I. think he knows it is. I, don't think he believes it. It'd be anybody else but me wow through birds. Love it. So, let let let's go back a bit. You spoke about rematches and get back revenge Let's look at it from from from the champs perspective. he's now three you know. And two of those winds are to the same person. So do you think that the rematch not being offered to you was more about a unit having a rematch calls him be. Him Not wanting to be the guy who's known to have. Four fights with two dudes in in a main like. I could put myself in his position. Damn. Do I really WANNA be fighting the same two dudes back the back or do I wanna mix it in and have a little resume see some different styles I don't know. Can you sympathize empathize with them on or you're looking at it? Like China Hannah I, just want my. I mean. You know Kinda both ways. May I completely understand those? Okay He. He's hot shit. Now I guess he got Adria.

Movie Madness. For the world shut down did man. A massive gavitt gathering of people for twenty four hours. Like the covert thing wasn't even on my radar at that point like I hadn't even been thinking about it and then like within a week after we got back it just like went crazy. I think the travel bad had just happened and and then it was like. Everything went to zero. I remember thinking I'm like there's no way. There's no way that everything's GonNa shut down like it was in Europe and then starbucks closed and I was like it's over. Over. starbucks capitulated. We're all done. Point and then it was not that long over here. That was like the only thing that actually somehow did reopen I or stay open ended. They just had the longest lines in the world I might not no one makes coffee. Tea. Sarah Okay I was just in Charlotte. It is bad. They're still because. do do you go to starbucks? They could have like three people in the shop saint we're open here. Everything here is open in Nashville because we're not traders. Charlotte. Still I remember just being like what is going on was like fifty people at Align de man I would not wanna live here right now. To the Queen's city but. Put your mask on and going there I guess right did he goes still kind of like half shut like half like restaurants and stuff are kind of open like minimum capacity I think our gym's open yet but I think Close I don't. That's why. On. Gyms opened up because there's a gym in La Hoya that I'm Jay described to you because every time Jim they opened August thirtieth August thirty first. Let me guess you go to dit. Much to the gym. A. Gym. On A. Workout harder. So we're talking about working out I don't think but gives a scoop man because we. We've been following you guys for a long time you in Chris Evans you guys are partners traffic and funnels a physical newsletter. What the memo's I think it's called right Think, they changed the name to insiders access but. Hey Go. Yeah. It's cool because it's like short punchy just gets to the point I think monthly. Dirt cheap. So it's kind of a no brainer. That gives us a scoop of your story, dislike a little brief background, and maybe you know at t.f, trafficking funnels and all that. So. I started freelance as a copywriter in two thousand fifteen. and. I'm at Chris in a mastermind that was run by Ryan Leveque time, and if you haven't had heavies awesome already know him. So he he was a mentor of sorts to me back in the day. I met Chris in I. Think it was called like. You guys remember this this NASA got on facebook next level or next level masterminds Ryan levesque's thing. Yeah I remember. Yeah. Now, you can't call anything next level because it's so cliche but he was one like back in the day it was also. Who some next level shit back and it was the next level stuff. Exactly. So, Chris was doing advertising just space book advertising and I was doing copywriting and we met. Some. Of the stuff that I was doing, wanted it for some of his clients. So we kinda disconnected we sent clients back and forth for about six months in eventually was just like the list of partner up and see what we can do because I'm sitting implants you're sending me your clients, but if we could put it under one roof, you know it'd be amazing started agency. So we did the agency thing for a couple of months and it was great we. In the first three months we got up to like twenty, five, thirty game we started consulting in January -cause we were. We were doing work for people, but there were friends were asking us what was going on we that we started doing education because of that Excuse me a little Kobe remnants here. Not, really all. Now really okay. So we stopped, we actually hired a guy named Sam in January of two thousand sixteen and he looked at our economics in our business model and he was like you guys are GonNa make way more money. If you just teach the ropes rather than doing it, you're like I oh, you know we we kinda like doing it and but we got so busy on the consulting side that our prices were like two hundred brands of the funnel people don't WanNa pay that. Ended up. Yeah. We kinda discontinued it just from pricing so His been it's it's actually just hit. It's five year mark. says. It was actually started in September of two, thousand fifteen don't. We just crossed over that threshold twenty twenty. So it's been around for five years. started. Go really fast two, thousand, Sixteen Golf we were at half a million dollars a month. By the time we got to the beginning of two thousand seventeen be Kinda got stuck there for a little bit lassoed out of two thousand eighteen we started hiring a team did everything wrong lost the team tried again lost that team to but by the? Nineteen it pretty good team. We had a really good operator who came in our coo in we started sales mentor. The beginning of nineteen sort of wealth gap mid two, thousand, nineteen. We just acquired a business in Australia a couple of months ago. So now we have A. Four or five businesses kind under this portfolio of companies anti is it goes back and forth from being the biggest to the second business at biggest business actually. So kind will know for is becoming the second largest in the company of the portfolio companies

"queen city" Discussed on Behind the Steel Curtain
"Welcome back to the steelers Retro Show My name is Brian Anthony. Davis. Along side me Tony as we go back in time to hang out with you my friend and go back in time to yesteryear with the Pittsburgh steelers and we're talking about days of glory the One thousand, nine, hundred, five season was a pretty magical season for the most part Tony. And we're talking about a very pivotal game the second time. The Pittsburgh. steelers were playing the Cincinnati bengals that year after starting out three and four, this team six and four but they're in a hole in this game. It's late in the second quarter and it's twenty one to three and the steelers get the ball back and they're desperate at this point. So what do you do you trust Neil. O'Donnell at that point to see what's going to happen and what happened in that game, Tony at that point with Neil O'Donnell getting back on the field. They needed to answer and they did they drove. Let's see here. Sixty eight yards I wanted to say. And they made a twenty one to ten when on a O'Donnell to Ernie, mills, forty two yard touchdown and that was huge at that point in the game because. Again. It looks like the the Bengals were just going to score. It will in that game and they had up to that point basically so. The steelers needed to stop the bleeding and they did hurry. With from with Donald Ernie Mills who was probably one of them were underrated receivers in steelers history it actually started out as an on their own thirteen. So it was an eighty seven yard drive in on that mills. got a forty two yard pass. He caught one from his fourth touchdown a of the year from forty two yards out Neil O'Donnell. He pumps fake the heck. Out of Corey Sawyer and froze the Florida state alum and the lead was cut to eleven. So that's a big deal. At this point it's now twenty one to ten. On the very next drive, the bengals picked on lake again, and that's very odd to say that lake was getting picked on. He was filling in for Rod Woodson. He was called for pass interference. He grabbed onto a flying Darnay, Scott? Maybe it was a good thing that he did, but it was a forty one yard. And it sets Cincinnati up at the fifteen, but they were able to hold them. Doug. pelfrey kicks a field goal. Then, the steelers get the ball back though, and after a thirty, two yard catch from Charles Johnson Norm Johnson counters with three. So the Bengal coach. Mike show at the time. He made an odd choice he had blake. On his own twenty five. Twenty five yard line. Not. With. Thirteen seconds left with fifty three seconds remaining in the half. So it's twenty, four, thirteen at Intermission, they've got an eleven point lead but Tony. Fifty three seconds in today's NFL. Is A long long time? Yeah and as we mentioned. The bengals had great success against the steelers defense up to that point, you know the, we're talking six three quarters of total dominance by Jeff Blake and his receivers. The the area attack and why? Why shola? He was young coach at the time maybe he was he was happy to have eleven point lead but. I know the folks at Riverfront Stadium weren't too happy they. They let them have it with the bluebirds but it seemed like that have been a good opportunity to especially since the Pittsburgh had the ball start the second half that would have been a going to. Go, and get those three points back Johnson just just kicked make twenty, four thirteen. I'm sorry. Two touchdown lead at that point. Yeah. So it was. It was still twenty ended up twenty, four thirteen and a half time after the half you're thinking. All right. The steelers are going to get the ball back. They've got to do something right now they're only down eleven. They get to receive the second half kickoff. then. There's an impressive run by Eric. And he hit, he's trying to make an extra effort and it's a nice run with nice runs are ruined when you fumble the football and then extra effort bracy Walker collected his second fumble recovery of the day at the steelers thirty, four yard line you're like, here we go again. Then comes Jeff Blake his third touchdown of the game. There's only four twenty nine gone in the quarter Tony McGee. The tight end catches it in the end zone. It's thirty one to three. The steelers seemed doomed, Tony? It was an, it was an embarrassment. It's now thirty one thirteen. What are you thinking eighteen points when the forget the ball back at Halftime Tony? It's funny. You mentioned how things go on over your way but I was watching it with my uncles, Gina. Michael. My late Uncle Tony and he said to me at that point right after Tony McGee scored the touchdown they just relax because I was I was getting all worked up of young at that time he said just relax and just watch the rest of the game in his point was. It's it's it. There's no point in worrying about it. The game's over there done just relaxing and just enjoy enjoy the best the rest of the game especially camp. But he was actually pretty prophetic as we're about to find out because it was all steelers after this yet it was so. I'm glad you sat back and relaxed because this is probably about this might be about the time when my dad told me to stick around. I can't remember exactly but he said the same thing stick around. The steelers hang out with us a little bit more. and they never do that. My Mom's get on the road get home columns. No, you're. Okay. Three hour drive you know..

Cincinnati says we'll part of Cincinnati you from champ. Make US proud. Don't disappoint us like champs that have passed I know I know ab but I grew up pretty much way. It'd be fairmont group and Westwood. So Oh you know. It's it's it's Outta town Brad. It on I'm talking about. Is that type of size is. That's out of town man. But now I know it'd be I you know worry about Dan Eric. Cruise S. O. G.. Texas have you lost the hunger for boxing after the Marvin fight I did Actually I lost it before the fight. I was just literally. Does that a lot going on your life and you know would would pain ENA train and and and and everything is just. It became a bit much in saying so I mean even lead to that day. I was like y'all. I'm ready to get this over. I need some key. I'm just saying I'm ready to go. Chill out go on vacation until the New York and you know. Get this stink die you know so. Maybe that was probably on the steak and allow myself to not be as hungry as I should have been. You know so but it is back Danny Danny Chaz or you fight sanctioned through a commission. And we use sixteen ounce gloves loves but ultimately it's it's a it's a group of guys that get together in You know glorify sparring sodastream. MM-HMM I think when you mentioned Colin like a Bowling League. I think that was really really accurate away. You know bulloch makes boxing Kinda Kinda what it is. We we traveled. Yeah because it's a self sustaining Bonin Leagues you know until you get like to the officials when you get sponsored but until then bowling leagues self sustaining painting the members make it happen in travel around and make it happen and that's really what this is you know little by little woods growing. We're on season seven in this is truly every frigging show rather event. We say this is our best event but like it's it continues to be. The next one is always the best one and this one is is a fantastic car. We don't even have anthony on this car while his shopping them around a but we already have Marvin who's going to be dependent on WBZ WBZ. He's three and now he's taken on south from California who's one and now want to know but people think is significantly skilled at one of the better. I mean leave it to him. He self proclaimed the most most skilled fighter on boardwalk outside of Midi. Then you got southside ducey versus that white boy in Texas. Then we got done now. Who who I think is? One of the most skilled fighters on board was taken on a bad way taking on J. D. from Texas. WHO's a former pro? Whose only loss is to maybe eighty from the UK? Then we got rob in Philadelphia taking on machine-gun Matt from Texas colander destroyer. Taking on Jordan from Fort Myers me and Eddie will be going at it. Jose has no fight. supermax pulled out. Jose fight as far as I know. Is that fight is off. Cruise has no fight. Jose has no fight. It has no fight. We just signed up ambrose and he has no fight and that that that is The car but you know for all those other cards all those other things that are made about six six five at are made you know One two three four five six six five did are made so. That's a pretty pretty pretty good right there. Let's get back to the questions from the people for Mr Edwards. We got Jose and local sands chance question for Kane. You relate to real boxing and see how that loss has made you still dangerous to face. But the upside side of beating you has decreased because you are no longer undefeated that nobody else go. I think I mean he got a point though. You wait under theory. No more now if he comes now in beats you I mean Mauve all the future chat somewhere. Joe I soften them up for you but but for you. If you come and be embiid Jose you beat a three. And you back in title contention so I'll not goes as being a little bit harsh because he's afraid at is afraid. I think in of Jose if I would me and beat me. I think he would get more credit the MARVA but he he doesn't eat he. Would you know what I'm saying. He just wouldn't take it regardless you nonstop Even be taken off spider in the first round security. But you know that type of Guy Ain't GonNa do. I think he's pretty much done. Aj's is like you know after it was over. Clocking fucking release. The monkey is off. My bag is fine. I lost in in that stat and I'm just going to get back and do it again and remind people who actually you know so those included in even now like still difficult really to it is not like guys lineup. They never were you know so this same boat really. Maybe maybe the lower is just a little awesome. Maybe somebody's tempted. Got It but it ain't enough to trigger for most people sal is funny man sow only care about what people think you by. HIS FACE IS A. What's your prediction for? The fights fights though so he wanted you to give all petitions. He's a how do you see to fight versus versus museum. Marvin little tank plan out so all right the first five card obviously is that the main event will go with that one. What's your pick for Marvin three? Yeah no versus Sal WanNa know and moving up for this fight sell out pointy molly wonders. I was like if you put on is going to let that weight stay. I don't think he should. I think he's just go down like he was before be mobile duty really does and you know potty night but he's got it whether whenever wait he's probably a shot she understand you understand if he's going to automatically claim being better than you because he did what you couldn't do it you have to see me for but you know in in in the grand scheme of things we talked about. So we're we're going to do anyway. You know sure really quick from the Chat Danny Druids at three minute rounds. Yes is three rounds. Two minutes. We use amateur rules two minutes so we get some excitement instead of through. Believe me I campaign for three minutes for the longest. I figured there'd be more stoppage three minute rounds but are they voted against it so we do two minute rounds three rounds. Two minute rounds three rounds. Sorry we got more questions questions from the public and going out to Andre Bishop. This is a a heavyweight that wants to join his forty six he offered to fight. I've been keeping this on the low low. I haven't said anything. But he's he wants to fight supermax says he says you know the fight with Jose and supermax is not a real fight. He's forty six he's never fought but this dude I'll I won't tape. I can't put them in there with supermax like that. I gotta be the commission to because he's forty six but this dude six three and he's fucking two hundred something passed. He's not even that heavy like he's too much shake shaped like fuck. Fuck at forty. Six is two hundred two hundred eighty pound six three you well he acts. He acts a supermax so I guess you know he wants to test award. I know he did. He say he wrote directly to me on Patriots. You know he would have told me that y'all want you but he forty six. I guess he wanted to check it out. I But he says my man. And who is your favorite South Pole. Fight Ovo Tom. Favor southpaws pernell whitaker sweet not is probably gotTA BE SWEETPEA now. Trying to think of some of the great southpaws in recent Memory Inaba was never a big pack. Akyol Fan Bay I gotTA Say SWEETPEA. The way he moved I wasn't that big. A fan of is often. He's just one of those guys where he dazzled on defense and and tough fights he didn't always put a put the offense together like you would want to. But he was just yeah. He just dazzled with the mood man. It was hard not to like that guy. Yeah we got a double bag. We only gave one pick. You said Sow Beats Marvin. All right southside. Do you see the only knock out this. TKO's this is a knock out in Baltimore's versus white boy John From uh-huh Texas What do you think southside impressed me? Smooth smooth I just haven't seen enough. Why why boy yet but to get it? Not The south side of the probably ain't plant around that attitude matched flight so had seen enough. Why but I think for a little footage seen it probably be a real good fight ruge fight so we decided to see but I know yes?.

"Okay. What is it? I don't know. What's true anymore? I know right. So and neither do the police. So then okay. But the thing is the media already has their teeth in this story. And it's the classic like then there's a confession. But the confession doesn't sick. Almost like good that the media's involved because they're like way to fuck and goddamn in. Yes. Yeah. And they're and they're like, well, there's gonna be other stuff, and there's people willing to any more. Footage of tutors. That's being rated. We need houses being rated fully fully rated and men in blazers walking out and looking concern. That's right. We all need that. So okay. So then on February second twenty twelve the story breaks, the Bubba Scher has been leading a double life. Of course, he has an is this. This might be the part that clicks it over into true familiarity for you because not only has been having affair with a woman, and keeping basically keeping a woman. He's also he runs a secret SM club. How the -ffected I never heard of. Okay. So they don't want to be that would have been the detail that would have been the trigger that clicked it into my memory because that Neo if the other part was the media birthday party at the roller rink, then that was the coke dealer showing up saying everything's for free because a murder in the suburbs. And then the husband has a double life as a sex, Adam dire. The city confidential episodes, which is my favorite fucking show in the whole world. Stay fucking interview the local journalists they fuck in. It's just the best. Yes, they all my gun Indus. Lebron's was Nutting. So in this episode of deadly rich. So that I'm sure there's a city confidential positive about. But in this episode there is a guy named Mike boy NS and he runs the bar. Held the hard luck loud local fucking die. We're journalists. Goede eat well publisher owns the building show. She's basically, Mike boy NS is landlord. And this the episode of deadly rich kicks off with Mike boyega's being like, he wasn't my friend. He was my landlord. He gave everybody the creeps like ham just holding forth. And so then one day we have to go there. Next time. We're into hard luck loud. I hope it's still there because this guy I love him so much and he says at one point the fuse box like blew out or whatever. So they had to get an electric, and they went downstairs into what was known as Bob's office. No one went downstairs into he kept it lock. But the electors has to go in there because that's where the fusebox attrition comes back upstairs. Yes. So he's got like whips and chains and things to hang from the ceiling real fifty shades of grey. It's fucking hot with clean fuck and not a hot. Millionaire. It's Bob Bouchard in the in the basement with some fucking greasy ests shish it under the hard luck loud. Oh, boy NS says to the electricity. I don't wanna hear about it goes do not make me think about that. I don't wanna know my God. Yes. So basically, these the people that know, the real Bubba shar start coming forward and going you might wanna Turk those, and you might want to check that. That's all this stuff starts coming out. And of course, the media is having an insane SM field day. This is their dream come true story. This injury this prom Queen city. Okay. So then also prone coin city is the name of the right? Sure. So then they also start learning about this woman. That is basically this kept woman that Bob is his secret girlfriend. Bob comes out and says, no, no, we're only friends, but then, of course, the pictures and the travel documents surface that prove that bub took a trip with this woman out of state to one of her relatives, weddings. See this is what happens when you're not interdependent can't track. The fact that you're fucking has been it's going to weddings of their people's cousin and imagine this isn't like a sexy hot sex relationship where they're in the basement, I'm gonna hang you up. My ankle kick me in the dick until I cry. It's this is like I'll go to your cousins. Leading and Albuquerque. No like, he's he SIM. You pay someone to make you you're gonna make small talk with that aunt Marie? Well, you eat canapes in the sun. That's the real lesson. I'm right there. So basically all this proof is coming up where it's like, I don't know. Everybody knows that you were actually not only like she was his real girlfriend. He was keeping her in an apartment above the hard luck. So her apartment's up here then. Pour. Mike's in the middle going get out of here as she and Mike fall in love and run away together. No, Mike talks about it. Very early on that his wife is in a mixed. Okay. Great. And he said. He that nobody when Bob came around. He was a terrible Tipper. He'd never paid for the drinks that he orders, none of the guys liked him. Because he was a decade and all the women were super skied out by including his wife who said she that only time shiver shook Bubba jars hand the pair on the back of her next. So we got a love Mike who is the true narrative of this show. And he's just like, so there's a point where the police are surveilling baba Shara and like watching his every move right because everybody kinda knows this guy's dirty and in the mix and something has gone on. And we have to get him for it. And Mike is watching it on the news. And goes he realizes as he's watching the new story. And he goes this guy's going to use the he's going to use the hard luck as an alibi. He's like, oh, we're going to get pulled into this. Like, he's watching it on the news. This son of a bitch is going to make this his alibi. Because after a while it gets so crazy of him being accused and saying, no, what are you talking about? Never go to that part of town. And all okay. So okay. So the woman who was the kept woman. She's basically they're kind of tracking her life as well. She was normally a model employee. I'm not giving her name or where she worked you can own eight. To I mean. Yeah. Whatever this is a this is gonna do with her. She's more of a she's an innocent innocent in this. Maybe. But also who care like, I don't know. She is she's definitely we don't know how innocent and how involved and what demands she was making. But I don't know it wasn't demanding that fucking kill doing that though. We don't so basically Mazda year being positive, and I'm saying there was reports that woman considered a model employee at her work, but then slowly starts developing a bad reputation for apathetic and sometimes aggressive attitude at work, and then in twenty eleven she changed her emergency contact from a female friend to baba Shara. So she's I mean, that's kind of like you're out and about with that. This motherfucker says my my marriage is we don't sit in the same room. Not this is sheet knows about you. It's totally fine. I'm gonna leave her soon, and we're going to get married, and then she's like, well, if that's the case, then you're going to be my emergency going. It's the basics of like, you're my person. Yes. It's actually a very sad thing. When you go to fill out, an emergency contact and you have to figure out who's named put on there. That's a very dark post divorce time for me. Yeah. It was like oh emerged now. I had a post friendship of that. Where it was like well clearly didn't trust the dues. I had been dating before that because I always use her name. And then when we she and I had a falling out and broke up. It was like us. My guys name. I have to stay with him. What if something happen to you? And then they call someone that doesn't like you anymore. It's like great leave her alone. Lever lever where she lies said don't resuscitate her. She told me Liz, let her have that seizure out. And she doesn't want stitches and don't recess. She doesn't like stitches after receiving a poor performance review in two thousand nine she chalked her poor performance up to family issues. But then promised performance would improve. But it only got worse and the day Jane's body was found. This woman left work without any notice and was later fired. So there's a connection that that would indicate perhaps that she knew what was going on perhaps. But I don't know. I wanted to fend her. Okay. You can in my mind. Would you defend her? If I told you that this woman is Casey, Anthony. No. Shawna rely. Yeah. It all it's like every terrible crime story jam band of true crime Astles. Okay. Okay. Now, I still believe in her. Okay. So. It's basically revealed that Bob and this woman's relationship is based around their mutual love for them. And. Isn't legislating at the end of the day. Let's not that is shame because it's hot in the I love it. Whips chain shirt. So that's that's a line from like a Bill don't quote me on that one. That's Bill Murray for sure so the woman lives upstairs, hard luck bars middle and the sex dungeon. They used together as downstairs horrifying upstairs downstairs, what a horrifying sandwich.

"So come up with a special ward for you, you David Brunton, even growing flowers. Gardening gardening. You just kind of trying to pass the time while driving. Exactly, yeah. Commute founded, and it was like, oh, this sounds interesting. I need to learn more about this. And so I learned about ASEF g through this podcast. Learn about the field vase dinners. I mean. The whole thing. Wow. So, but how many people who have an we didn't really explain completely. You said you had a day job, you working kind like corporate, finance or something. Right. I work in the financial services industry, nine five nine to five non all corporate jobs. Terrible. I have a great gig that I don't wanna leave. So even when I decided to jump in with growing cut flowers, the whole slow flowers. I knew I was never gonna give up this corporate job. But I did jumping head first. And I devoted a let's evenings weekends to make it happen. Right. Right. Wow. So I we asked you about that when we were having drinks about how many what your summers are like and your season at Queen city flower firm, and because you're in Cincinnati. I mean what is that zone? So we're zone zone. Six. Okay. Basically season runs early may through October. We. We get our killing frosty October. And obviously I was a field grower. I didn't have a greenhouse. I wasn't right in, you know, high tunnels or anything you starting stuff in your house at home like I did. Yes garage. Yeah. Because you said you started in April does wondering what were your first crops that your sewing cool. Annuals Orlando snap dragons or laya just. Yeah. All those early. They would've been annuals that first year, you know, zinnias sunflowers just the basic annual that we all grow. Did you feel like you kind of always say I failed on the rabbit hole? I feel like you definitely felt on the ramp time. Could be other things like I asked you had to give up your book to. No, no, you're not again a few other things. For what do you think? That is what in your DNA just really to wanting to grow flowers other than just being like a person like the garden. Well, I think the guardian had a lot to do with it. "I wanted to see a team. Like nine five and boy that be three you know are are too. I wanna see teams with multiple ties. I don't. I don't just want to three teams to have won tie each. I want. I want like Cleveland, for example, I want him to finish, oh, twelve and four like that would be amazing if that were to happen. I just, I think it'll be fun when we start get into playoff time. If there are a bunch of ties where it just just completely messes with how do you figure out who's going to win the division when everybody has a tie? Yeah, exactly. Well, like somebody's talking about, like, you know, the when the falcons without the Packers and Vikings tied it, like if it's going to help one of them in the long run, it's like it's gonna probably most likely end up like screwed over the bears or something. 'cause it said of like the Vikings and Packers are going to finish the season instead of one being like ten and six other being nine at seven, they're both going to be ten, five and one. And then the bears are going to be ten at six Playoffs. offs. Yeah. That's going to be like the NFC south wasn't two thousand fourteen except the teams are going to be good. Like instead of getting screwed over. 'cause you went, you know, seven and nine and one other team went seven, eight and one. You know, it's going to be the opposite of that, and it's going to right. I like it and I hope I hope it happens again this weekend. Well, that's fair. Three of us. We want to get out for chests saving before this game on Sunday. I'm good. Yeah, I think I've said all I need today. All right. Well, from all of us here at the fourth and short podcast, John Brad are here with me. We will enjoy the game with you on Sunday, and we will talk to you next week about whether the Panthers win or lose. So thanks for joining us have a great weekend, and we will talk to assume. "But it was crazy that we even signed an offensive lineman that's play in the NFL before. Yeah, I couldn't. I couldn't believe that I was fully expecting. I mean, how it lined up at left tackle. So. You and me both. So let's get into scoring predictions here. John. I'll start with you. What do you expect the final score to be. Well, I'm gonna go ahead and pick the Panthers for the nineteenth week in a row. Twenty four to twenty one. That might be optimistic that we win a close game like that. But as I say. You brad. I'm going to say Panthers twenty eight Bengals twenty eight. Consecutive ties in the series consecutive ties. I said in the slide chat, but I don't know if he has remembered the whole thing about like the mayor's bet like the winner of the game gets to be the Queen city, the real Queen city. Yeah. Settled that bad. I think we're going to again. I mean, if we try again, then the series would still be tie because it's right now. It's two to one. Also the NFL seems to need a tie every week. So why not us? Yeah. Why not us guys? Just as a quick tangent before we finished the show. Do you guys like the overtime rules with the shorter overtime in getting like having more ties. By the way my five to twenty two twenty eight. Thanks. You're going to beat the Bengals Brian, your photo ran out, we lost the falcon. So you can start picking the Panthers to win, like your superstition has gone. Anyway, go ahead. John in that out there I asked my question. I was like, do you guys like the new overtime rules to where like it's more likely to end up in ties are? Would you like football needs winners. I think I think that I, I like ties. I liked ties, I think in the regular season, it makes sense only because like you don't want people getting hurt in like double overtime. Because you know they're, they're going to a sixteen game schedule. So. I think it makes sense to like have the game end after a certain point just to preserve health. I'd love to see more wins obviously, just because ties suck and they fucked up like, well, they worked out for us, but when the Panthers went seven, eight one in managed to make the playoffs like. You know if that game went on another quarter, I guarantee that Bengals probably would have beaten the Panthers, but. I just I feel like from the general staff point of the overall entertainment of the season, I'd rather have the guys be healthy, not be gassed from for extra quarters of overtime to get a win than a get a tie. You know, if you asked me, I guess it's me being a soccer fan, but that's what I'll say. A teams are just equal. Like sometimes there's a better times they're both. I. I was gonna say, like if you ask me this years ago, I'd probably say like now ties stupid because I mess up the standings, but now that I've gotten more into soccer and I've kind of learn to accept ties. I like it. I like how it mess things up amp, Brian touched on. My favorite thing about ties is that people say after tie, oh, that taika come back and help him as you also helps. If they just one. Like like my plus at the same time. You know what the current NFL rule over time is ten minutes, right? Didn't they shorten it the ten minutes yet? It did. Yeah. Okay. But you know, both teams get a possession unless I drive is a touchdown or safety. You know, if if an extra ten minutes is enough to decide winner, then there's not a winner like we don't have to be like, I wish they would go back to the in college. They would go back and change it to where you could tie because I like that system. I don't think there's a there host to be a winner. I think that's dumb. And I hope there is the trend of a tie every week continues..

"He doesn't have like the explosive, but he is more trustworthy, reliable, always be in the right place at the right time. Yeah, glad you guys are making the all these puns here. So. I. I'd like to see Jerry's right on those like first down passes rather than the third down because you know if he doesn't get the first down on first down. Where on third down a lot more to it, he just he seems to get open and Cam Newton seems to know where to find them. They have a good feel free shudder. So I think that like if you're looking at the offense right now for if you're going with two wide receiver set you wanna see Christian McCaffrey, Devin funchess and Jerry's right as the top two receivers, in my opinion. So he would be on the right side of the formation. Now he'd be. I think all jokes aside, I think Jerry's right is a good third down receiver. Every team needs quote, unquote, that guy that the quarterback can depend on to just be open on third down, like fits third in eight. You know, he runs a nine yard route and he's there. So if the other play you want to run isn't there, you can just, you know, throw it to to your guy and get the first down and keep the chains moving. Every good NFL team has that that guy like, you know, we've seen. And sometimes it's a superstar. Sometimes it's not like New England has rob gronkowski. You know, he's that guy, but you know, we we could have Jerry's right? Be the quote, unquote Jericho Khatri that we had in two thousand fifteen, but just be a better version of it. My my thing my counter to Brian's point of him being the number two receiver is I'm assuming he's done all of his. Office reps have come in the slot and essentially be kind of essentially asking him to be playing in new position. If we moved them outside to be the second wide receiver to receiver sets. So. You could still have a tight end on the outside like him in the slot with Devin funchess on the outside. But normally I would agree with that, but that tight end would be Greg Olsen and I don't. I don't think Ian Thomas is ready to do that yet. Yeah, fine guys. On the outside. I got you. Then Ian Thomas, probably, yeah. Have Torrey Smith. Outside, I think. I think the better thing is torii Smith runs the nine route and takes a defender away and Jerry's ride is is open ten yards downfield in the middle of the field, and he's wide open. You know, I think that play works. That's fair. I'll give you that. I would say as a player I would rather have Jerry's is right on the field and Tories myth. But I'm just saying like in terms of feasability it might be tough just because like I said, I don't know, Jared, right is yeah, it's like putting Christian McCaffrey at fullback. You want him on the field but not there. Yeah. I just like McCaffrey could also Blake McAfee would probably be our best wide receiver, and I guess he probably has run the rest of the slop if we put him outside, like he's you annuities, one out there. He's never practiced set for this team window. The place actually has all he has like a few packet is, but he doesn't. Because he he's a coach on the field like he's a film room warrior. So a lot gone on that. We went on those. He may not be accustomed to it, but he grind it out because that's kind of player. He is. Yes. As far as the offense of line goes, we already touched on this little bit. But seemed like it's going to have a field day unless for some reason, Ryan Kalil works at the little crooked, his neck that he apparently has. However, on, I'm actually kind of optimism about Chris Clark and Taylor Moton on Carlos Dunlap Michael Johnson because those guys aren't as good as tack McKinley and. Beasley, Vic Beasley. There we go. On falcons because those guys are young and fast where those were the guys are a little bit older. Probably don't have the same speed same burst, but what are you guys thoughts on that brattle start with you? Thank you pretty much hit the nail on the head..

"Him. I wanna say more of him in the offense in for him to get more opportunities to catch more touchdown pass. But since John used DJ more, I'll I'll make it different for our listeners because I actually like them in and actually care and I'll say Ian Thomas, I would like to see what he can do. He did this appoint when he dropped that that touchdown pass in the end zone. But I think he has a lot of potential. We do have to remember. He's very rawal prospect. I doesn't have a lot of experience playing tied in. I think he has potential. So I would like to see what what he can do. I was personally impressed with the way he got up and catch the ball, but he was able to like maneuver his way into a soft spot in the defense and get himself wide open. And granted, he dropped that pass. But you know, fourth round pick who doesn't have a whole lot of experience. That's something that over time can be corrected. So I was very impressed that play any made up for it soon later by getting the first down. So what are they going to. Pacify with Thomas. I want to see him get the ball in a yak opportunity because he is like a freight train when he's got the ball in his hand. Yes, he is. He scary when he was like five yards. Yeah, I would not want to tackle that guy. I said it when we drafted him, but like watching him run with the ball, look so much like rob gronkowski. Not. He's not that Calgary player, but just like he holds the ball, like if he's hold the ball and you completely like you can't even see it in his hands. His hand is completely engulfs the ball, and then he's taking these huge strides in guys just like bouncing off of them and stuff. So a funny contrast to Greg Olsen who looks like running away from his brother like after he just his lunch money here, something Greg Olsen might have the shortest strides in the NFL and he's like six, five? Yes. So my guy that I want to see more of and I have a little bit of the odd here is Jerry us, right? And the reason why I mentioned him is I think that the whole Torrey Smith taking the majority of offense of snaps should be relegated to Jerry is right, and I think Jerry's right should be that guy and Torrey Smith, the guy that comes in to like. Be a third down guy or something like that cause right. There's guy for the job. I agree with that. Well, we all know this with Cam Newton when he trusts the receiver that receiver typically does. Well, Ted gear has a good example like it's not like Ted game was a good receiver before he came to Carolina. And I would argue the Jerry's right was actually a better overall wide receiver before him, Carolina than tech good wants reliable receiver. He might..

"I'll stop hit how many camps cares scrambles but we were more passing and running in a game we won and I would've magin the same thing would happen against the Bengals and the Bengals are somewhat similar to the Cowboys in terms of they have a pretty strong defense. I will say I would like to see a little more c. j. Anderson running the ball. 'cause like he's been averaging like five yards a carry every time he carries it in granted. Like, you know, it's change up when you're running when you're passing the ball time, suddenly throw c. j. Anderson out there. The defense is necessarily expecting that, but I felt that running the ball and I stress running the ball. He's done fairly well. So if the offense is struggling to move the ball in the air, maybe c. j. Anderson a little bit more. Maybe. Did he hurt his case? Because. You know, the goal would be that when CJ Anderson's on the field. That doesn't tip if we're gonna pass a run and he did not do so good in the passing game last week. So that would. He didn't. That would tip off a little bit that we might be intending to run. But I mean, I wouldn't mind more c. j. Anderson. I think McCaffrey has been fine. Like I don't. I guess. Together, but I'm not advocating for like a fifty fifty timeshares just three carries by CJ Anderson in a game when he's averaging five yards a carry, I feel like is not enough. That's that's all I'm saying, but not talked about that Tuesday. I think he should get, you know, six to ten carries instead of three. Yeah, I think he would have if we weren't behind so much so quick. Yeah, I do too. Like if we were winning, it would have been the c. j. Anderson show like we would have. We would have been like why in the hell is running fifteen times twenty times. For Baxter's, Ron Rivera, like why you don't need to run the ball forty five times in a row. When you have three point lead. Right? Exactly. So looking at the Panthers offense, as far as passing goes against the Bengals defense. So the Bengals defense is far as the secondary goes. I feel as a little bit underrated. Trick is definitely a solid quarterback. Number one. William Jackson was a first round pick a couple years ago. Jessie Bates was a pick this year for them that a lot of Panthers fans might remember as somebody we thought the Panthers might take in the first round this year. As far as free safety goes, he was good enough that they cut Georgia Luca and Sean Williams earning as well. So the Panthers passing offense struggled a little bit up until the second half off against Atlanta. A lot of dropped passes a lot of bad routes. Lot of missed routes such as people running the wrong route. So Cam Newton throws a duck to the secondary. So who. Obviously a few guys that deserve more snaps in this in this passing offense. I'll start with you John. Who who do you wanna see more out of in the passing game? DJ Moore's probably going to be the answer for both of us. That's my answer to. Yeah, just 'cause I mean, based on the sample size, we have, he's scores a touchdown. Every single time he catches the ball, so we should try to do that more just on tax forever when listen to this podcast and caught the ball once. So anyway, I think in the podcast knows that it doesn't matter if he's only called at once. John statement is accurate. He didn't hit every time. He catches the ball. He scores a touchdown. So I'm I advocate running that play until we don't touch touchdown with it anymore. Yeah, we should run that. We should run the DJ more scores, a fifty one yard touchdown play every time. Everytime that's what it's called to insider information here. Defenses wouldn't see it coming. I, I wanna see more in Thomas, but his drop disappointingly DJ more is like, you know, he's at first round picks. Obviously, there's more. It is a patient overseeing him play. Anticipation. He's got a stupid name, though. I hate is names getting on. It just needs to play more snaps so we can stop talking about him doing more of anything and just talk about him as a play play. I want to see..

"No, I think what they're gonna do is they're going to approach it the same way that they approached Atlanta and they're going to do a lot of dump off passes to Christian McCaffrey. Those are successful. And I think because a, you know, it gets Christian McCaffrey in space. It plays his strengths of being able to make people miss, you know, especially if he can get an where the linebackers are, and I believe that it will also make Panthers fans mad. So that's what I want to happen. Run the during bowl, you know, but I don't. I don't think we're going to we're gonna gain plan to run more than we normally do. I think we're gonna see a similar a game plan to what we saw against the falcons. I just want to say one, bring up a good point that Ron Rivera mentioned this last week after the game that you throw those check downs to Christian McCaffrey in their successful so much. Eventually the linebacker start to cheat up a little bit. They're not like eleven yards back. They're more like five, seven yards backer so and that opens up in the middle of the field. So yeah, I think that that has some merit and obviously, you know, overall pick Christian McCaffrey run the dang football with him for God's sakes. He's running back. Why not? But anyway, John go ahead. Was about to say, I think it's funny that like for all of the Mike Shula times. We have an office of line and run the football, sorry to interrupt interrupt the broadcast, but offense of Lyman with an eight yard Carey anyway. That we the whole time we had Mike Shula. It was like, we run too much. We have sapper on the Balsam much. We gotta be more. We gotta be more unpredictable and all that stuff. And then we've so even more predictive only thrown a lot more out, why are we not handed the ball off more? What are we doing? Yeah, we drafted running back. Why are we using it as one. So, yeah, I like we talked about it. I think we talked about on Tuesday. It's the odds are yards check down through like handoffs just, yeah, eight yards, eight yards. It doesn't matter how you get it just matters that you do and it only matters. It's only a problem that you get eight yards when it's third and nine. Like that's the only time it's a problem. You know, if you get eight yards, you've, you've got an eight yards closer to your goal, which is the in zone like, it doesn't matter if you run it. Fifty fifty with passing, or if you, you know, you pass it every single down. If you move the ball, all score points and don't let the other team score points. You succeeded in what you were trying to do it. Just it me and John. We've talked about this. I don't know how many times, but it's just funny to me how fans get stuck in these archaic ideas of how football is supposed to be played. Like it's. You know, I. Run it on first down like you, you have to run it on second down. You can only pass it if it's longer than five yards to like that. None of that shit matters what matters is moving the ball and not letting the other team move the ball, and it's not just fans. It's coaching SAS to broadcast because my favorites, always the like first and goal on the water. Like, why are they throwing the ball? He's gotta punch it in when like pass plays on from the one yard line and more successful than run plays. I always thought that was in attaining. But to answer Brian's question about if I think we're going to run more, I think it'll be a lot like the Cowboys game. And that will come out pretty like pass happy, not pass happy, but like fifty, five, forty, five pastor, Ron. And then if we get a lead will run more. I will say I willing to see Jane after claw. Yeah. Well, that's what we do. But like like against the the Cavaliers McCaffrey Anderson had, oh, Oh, McCaffrey my. Anderson Armand more like non Cam Newton carries. We had not nineteen non-candidate in carries and twenty nine dropbacks. So and then I don't like it because I don't know..

"So that's good. That's great. Start are set up for having another. Backup running back, do his thing out of nowhere. Actually kind of banking on that, so it will not happen. Bernard is one of my fantasy running backs and I'm probably going to have to play him. So God we're saved. Thank you're saying, we're saved. He he'll get shut down. He won't do anything, but you know who the Bengals signed yesterday. Timeless roles guy. The last guy before Goldman to run for one hundred yards on the Panthers defense and also as a backup running back. So at the very least he could give them some tips on how to do that. Yeah. They, they looked at the schedule and they saw that like who nobody runs for a hundred yards against the Panthers. Oh, Thomas roasted. Nobody signed him. So kryptonite. So looking at the rushing game front seven last week did not really generate any pass, rush. Aside from one play by west Horton. It causing interception by Dante Jackson. The Bengals are currently like second in the league in a past, I guess past pressures against as far as offense of lying goes, which is a good thing for them. So this could be a problem this week is far as maybe not running the ball, but certainly getting after Andy, Dalton, that could be an issue. I'm Julius peppers is going to be is going to have his third game under his belt. Since the regular season started said, have little. Maybe he'll start to come along. But overall, I'm not super optimistic. John will where you're gonna say, here's a wild stat that I that shocked me when I read it. So on ESPN has like their little still bits when they do their projections. Panthers defense, the Panthers ranked second in percentage of plays on which defense makes contact with opposing quarterback. That doesn't seem right unless they all came back Prescott. Now they definitely made contact with Ryan a couple times, just not enough to run off, but that I mean, it was as a prize extent that made me feel a little better because. It means at least we were close. Like I know we sack Prescott like six times am. So we obviously got a lot more success against the Cowboys in the falcons. But at least we had have done something. It's Matt Ryan to keep that person. So I so hopefully. We can try like that to some sort of pressure against any Dalton because we definitely need it like he's been sacked, like he resigned his solid early. He's been sacked less than anybody else in the league of our. And he definitely Panthers defense is gonna touch the red rock and a lot got got to touch them. Gotta get some hands on them. He's a lot more prone to mistakes, Matt, Ryan. I think to if you get under pressure like you'll hurry stuff and make really bad, throws. Yeah, he, he's, he's weird like that either be the worst quarterback in the league or he'll throw for like four hundred yards like there's no, there's no mediocre Dalton gang, you know, either a complete joke or he's Peyton Manning and I don't know which one we're going to get from what I've like between piece together from what I read. And then from what I've watched him play, it's like if he gets time and as able to, you know, he's he's dead. Nothing at pressure too much like you'll make all the throws. He'll make the right decisions. But if he gets hurried, his process gets hurried up at all. Then he's, he's just throwing the term close his eyes dart to wherever he has think somebody might be. That's a bit of an exaggeration, but you get the idea. So basically we're expecting Matt Ryan or expecting Dak Prescott on Sunday, especially put. So looking at the Bengals offense. That we just did. Defense, I was pulling up the page for their depth chart. Biggest issue right now. I can see just looking at it is Bengals defensive line versus panther's offense. Flying Panthers tackles have been pretty good, but. After interior has not been so good, and they will face Gino Atkins and Andrew billings in the interior on Sunday. Geno Atkins, I believe, according to was like third in pressures on a quarterback. This could be an issue against this interior frontline that caused that had a lot of issues against Atlanta and even against Cowboys. So. They also have Carlos Dunlap Michael Johnson on the outside. So those aren't ideal matchups for Taylor Moton end Chris Clark..

"No. So that would be the the main concern. And also Tyler Wade is a good slot receiver in his own, right. Even if agent green is lined up outside. Indeed, Tyler Boyd had a really good game last week as well. I think he had like almost one hundred dollars perceiving in a touchdown eighty. He had a lot. Yeah. Like that's that's pretty good for your second wide receiver end the beat up secondary. That's that's not good. That's a bad as we professionals. Even if we didn't have a even a secondary was also you would probably be at a disadvantage. So I don't. I don't know if it's any worse than the falcons though, like troops Jones sununu and Ridley probably's I give them the edge over green Boyd and Ross Ross has two catches of our effort who might tear up Shaq Thompson. I know other I for even good anymore. I think he he's just injury prone. Yeah, but his injuries, he's okay if he's healthy, the problem is never healthy. I thought saying like to steal this for bratty looks like the guy where he says, hold, my beer, hurts himself. Just like I haven't watched the Bengals for an extended amount of time enough to see like what he looks like. But I just he's had several back in back injuries, and I think he's had a couple of lower body injuries, like I would expect him to not be the athlete. He was before. You would expect that, but you might be wrong. Pulling up is set. That's why you're doing that. Brad, give us your has five catches for sixty seven yards in two games and no touchdowns. Yeah, I can tell you. He has like seven fantasy points total. He's on pace for like a five hundred yards season. So Brad, what's your take on this secondary versus Bengals passing offense? It's not very good Brian. Takes up very good. No, the situation's not very good night. Take perfect. It's going to be bad, like, especially if Dante Jackson can't play, it's. Cornell der- in captain Monir lend being two of your three corners and then Colin Jones and Mike Adams being your two safeties is not very good. So we we're, we're we're depending on Dante Jackson, being able to play and one thing this being underplayed a little bit, and I know that part of it is that he hasn't been starting, but John Russ, they could just throw them out there in a Chuck it deep and I don't know anybody on the team, the non Jackson, keep up with that guy. The thing is I don't think anybody on any team can keep up with John Ross, but he still, they sell them able to use them yet. They do week one. He had an ice caps then? Yeah, for three yards. Good, good Burnham over the top. I thought he scored at. I thought he scored a really long touchdown that was in the preseason also against the bills. So I don't think anything you do against the bills will accounts this year. So he's the Curtis Samuel of the Bengals with without. Yeah, he's got like, yeah, and not to say that he's completely incapable of anything. I wouldn't say like, oh, just don't don't cover that guy. He's not going to catch all, but I didn't even mention him in my defensive preview. Mean knowing the Panthers, we are the team. He's gotta go off for two hundred and fifty yards and four touchdowns on Sunday. Just two catches on six targets for eleven yards right now this year. Great crime for bounce that game against the team where you get bounced back performances..

"The as the runs, the place that runs the place might dudes. The guy who can't be cut. It'll be here written person of the secondary hell be here before that he'll be here after that statue goes down in my opinion. We need to do. We need to. I know he asked the Gina DWA think a couple of last year, but we need just start asking every guest. We have it like who their teams Colin Jones are Britain version or whatever is like guy that seems to make the team every year for God knows what reason it's gonna have to more. I'll throw that in the notebook for John ideas. Yeah, I one that one that notebook totally exists. Is actually empty notebook announced not. Sitting there for a while collecting dust, but now it's not say Brian is watch the Rachel mcadams notebook more than he's opened the John. It's very film. Great. So, yeah, that's not a good situation. So I guess to segue into the Bengals offense. So obviously, yeah, secondary issues aside plus Dante. I didn't even mention this Dante Jackson may not even play on Sunday. So Cornell there might be starting as well. Concerns on any. He did not seem overly concerned, but this is Ron. Rivera were talking about and they might may hold him out to prevent it from being worse, put him on injured reserve. Yeah, exactly. Give them eight weeks to recover from this hamstring injury on so. That the problem with the secondary issue is that the Bengals have this guy named AJ green who just went off for three touchdowns last week. That could be a problem. So going with the passing. Giada you did the defensive previews. I'll start with you. What's your biggest concern here with passing defense? Probably that the Bengals are being intelligent with their offense in changing things up and not putting agent green in one spot all the time. So he's in the slot, which means. There's like in a perfect world he'd wind up outside every time because that's what team beast always receiver. And we James bradberry mirror him, but they put him in the slot. And James Bradbury is I can go in the slot. Captain Landell enter Cornell. Her mostly got the Marland covering agent green at times, and that's probably mismatch..

"In short podcast. Your favorite three Panthers podcasters here. This is Bryan joined by Brad and John. How are you guys doing tonight? Is. Good, but bald right around the corner, got the Cincinnati Bengals on deck. The youngest team in the NFL so got Emily ills. You know, another UCLA NFL I saw actually. I think it was how young word and realized the youngest. I think that the young youngest on average. Oh, yeah. The hell. No hell would define that. Yeah, I don't know. So I guess we'll start with just some general panther stuff. So Trey Turner, still on the concussion protocol, looking good to play this Sunday. Curtis Samuel still dealing with what the Panthers are calling a sickness, but we all know it's say what they called a mild heart surgery of some kind. Demere bird appears to be ready to return, but didn't order Searcy. The starting safety free safety at that is probably not going to play either because he isn't a custom protocol as well. So this is good. We got great starters out for this game skid thing. I don't know if it says if it's good or bad, but I haven't noticed north Searcy at all in the preseason or the regular season ever. I haven't really noticed either. I've only I've noticed him when he's when he's laid a hit that caused him to get her. Yes. The only two times I think I've ever even I've noticed he's on the field as when he's concussed himself because both arms were completely him just headbutting another guy running a full speed. Yeah. Like, oh, jeez, manhole tackling. Now you can cost, that's. That's what you get money. One thing about the injuries. I guess you probably gonna ask about this, but. With Curtis Samuel, I've seen several people be like, oh man, this I thought this is a minor procedure. Why take it's on and get back. It's been two weeks from outcome, having heart surgery. Like, let's it's relaxed before he's not asking him to run around and collide with other large men. Yeah, I expect him to be back after the bye at best at this probably be the thing to do. That'd be the target. You know, it's bad. John is asking people to lay out Curtis Samuel. So. Doc did say, why didn't you play week one? I'm fair. I'm not. I have nothing against Curtis Samuel, especially not personally. I just think he's been overrated based on what he's actually shown as a player, like I understand the projections of him being player eventually, but like people acting like he's a big playmaker, big yak threat when have seven yards a catch last year. Let's let them show something I, that's all I've been saying. I believe you said he was bad to be. Thank you. I think you've used that word to. Yes. Yes. Thus far in his career, he has been very bad. So not say he can't get better, and this is what we're on. This show to discuss courtesy milling is probably not gonna play, not taking it better. But right now. I gonna give Samuela grade as a player like INA, vac, it'd be bad. Hey, hot start. So looking at the injuries, even still, obviously it seems like starting offense, lion will be Taylor Moton, right? Tackle right guard. Greg, van Roten center, Ryan Kalil left guard would be probably Tyler Larsen fire to guess. And we're probably looking at. Clark was Frank Clark, Chris Clark, Chris swift, Dan, Ronan Orson. But did I? I think Larson Plato's guys starting at those two guys. Starting guard physician? Yes, that's important thing. Yeah. And Chris Clark starting to tack seems to be the case, not not too different from last seat from last week. But at safety, it seems like at least looking at the falcons game, they're going to go by with committee thing with a Rashard golden and Colin Jones..

"Well, I mean, you know there was a kicker back in the in the the day. I don't remember what years, but I think it was in the nineteen four or might have been the fifties, but he had half a foot long ago. It was like sixty s seventy s? They might even have been sixties. Yeah, but he actually had a advantage because his foot was squared off and it was easy for him to carry all because he had a. He was one of the record holders for longest kit. He has Denver until somebody broken in Denver, which I can't remember if it was the Matt Prater or if he had like the sixty two before Jason Elam and whoever had sixty three got the everybody had it for a while. And yeah, like Brett is funny. I mean he kicked like everybody like this by them, but it was so funny because they just run from straight behind the ball just thoat. Yeah. Feet and just totally. But he was even when it was a team that had like the the right guard was also the kicker like that was the best. Man, sports used to Sut. No sports used to rock is what you mean. Will.
