"And so they rule for for the position that was argued by the party lost the case in the state of North Carolina. So as if standing in for the state, having lost in the state Supreme Court, Supreme Court the revives the defense in a case that's moot. For more information, visit our website. Wow. Now what they've unleashed here, of course, will be endless lawsuits in state and federal court by the left. So the state legislatures will not have the final say, do not have the final say, even though, according to the federal constitution, they're the only state entity that has any say. See how this works? So the Supreme Court, with the opinion written by John, Johnny, here's Johnny, and support with Barrett and Kavanaugh, have completely altered the election process of the institution. And they've not only empowered state judges, get this, they've empowered judges, federal but they don't say how exactly or when exactly or why exactly, to also intervene as they see necessary in state legislative decisions. So the state legislature really has no say. The state courts look over their shoulders, federal courts look over their shoulders, this was a moot case, and they took it, and all election process. Extreme activism, extreme activism, as just bad as any activism of the far left. And of course the three radicals of the court think it's perfectly fine. And they are celebrated with today all the usual a -holes on TV. But what can they say? The originalists, the constitutionalists. Breckin Thys, investigative reporter, Washington Examiner. ProPublica, the nonprofit news website attacking Supreme Court Justices Clarence Thomas and Sam They also went after Kavanaugh. It's funded by left -wing mega donors who pump money into the court advocacy groups. Picking up speed since the overturn of Roe v. Wade last year, the website has repeatedly alleged ethics violations against Thomas and Alito. For Alito, the website published details on a 2008 fishing trip that he took with conservative head -fungeman Paul Singer. ProPublica pointed out the trip was not included in Alito's annual financial disclosure and that he didn't recuse himself from a case involving Singer's organization. Now before I continue, set did he up twenty shell corporations? No. Did he get over thirty million dollars from the Do you legally buy a gun? No. Did he fail to pay his taxes? No. No. Are there audio of him in some kind No. Did he sleep with hookers? No. Was he a drug addict? No. Well then we gotta get him for something, don't we? He was on a fishing Alito preempted the report earlier this week with an op -ed for the Wall Street Journal where he defended himself and accused ProPublica of leveling false charges. You'll recall that to you. And ProPublica exclusively cites leftist ethics experts so -called who confirm their priors about institutionalist justices to satisfy their dark money Democrat donors. The website was founded in 2007 by Sandler Foundation, their radical left group, has which given nearly $40 million to ProPublica since 2010. Foundation, excuse me, cholera, formed by Herbert and Marion Sandler. So some funding money left into -wing groups that actively call for investigations into Thomas and advocate for court packing. The Sandlers have been blamed in part for the 2008 housing market crash, even taking it onto Time Magazine's list of 25 people to blame for the financial crisis. So how do you fix all that? You become a sugar daddy for the Democrat Party. That's how you do it. All will be forgotten. The same foundation that made ProPublica possible with an astounding $40 million also gave half a million to demand justice, dark a money court packing group that spearheaded smear campaigns against Kevin on Barrett. Well then, learned her lesson. Demand justice got half a dollars million in a 2019 Sandler earmark grant to a group called New Venture Fund, which is part of a web of left -wing dark money nonprofit groups managed by consulting firm Arabella Advisors. This is the commie network, in my Stalinist view, of and Leninist and Maoist -like operations on behalf of the Democrat Party. network The spent nearly $1 .2 billion in 2020 alone. All this dark money. What happened to our country? We lost it. These billionaires. Our billionaires are passive. I don't know. That Trump is awfully controversial. I don't know. Demand justice has been pushing heavily for investigations into conservative justices. This deputy chief counsel, Katie O 'Connor, called for Thomas's resignation in April. And it goes on. And you'll notice how they coordinate with the Democrat Party. Pelosi there, teeth almost falling out of her mouth. By the way, is Pelosi's face melting now? You know, I've explained before that they've pulled her skin so tight behind her head on multiple occasions that I think the stitching is coming loose, but I actually think with the summer coming and climate change and it's so hot now, breaking record temperatures, I don't know, I'm just saying that. Anyway, her face is melting. I think I can see Pelosi's face is melting, much like John Kerry's face is melting. They've got to pack it with, you know, ice every night to make sure it hangs in there. It's filled and with applesauce mashed potatoes. Where was I? It doesn't matter, you get the point. "Only way out all right, you're gonna love this, brother. Okay. So hold on to your britches. All right. A woman who has identified herself literally as the name Linda putz. I'm not even joking. That is literally how she identified herself. An Idaho resident from the town of Hayden, apparently thinks that being a white supremacist means you are being an American patriot. Now, she was addressing the Hayden Idaho city council in a meeting. It's a response to a previous speaker. Who had requested that the council adopt a policy that values diversity condemns racism and white supremacy and also any groups that promote it. Doesn't sound like a bad thing though, does it? Now, apparently, next month, a white supremacy group plans to hold some kind of a gathering with more than 200 participants that are coming in to hate and Idaho from the state of Texas. They have already distributed flyers with the words keep Hayden white. That also, by the way, has a swastika symbol on it. Which is promoting that gathering is being organized by the Aryan freedom network. A group who runs a website with using the domain white power dot org. So we've entitled this audio segment. Putts logic. So let me go ahead and roll this for you. It's not very long about a minute and a half. Here is Linda putt's rationale. As you can tell, I am a minority, and I've never once. Not once. Ever been discriminated in this town. And I don't appreciate the agenda of the all inclusiveness and the respect and making white people feel like you are less than because of the history of great, great. Maybe sometimes great, great, great grandparents. And I don't appreciate that, and I don't think that has any place in our beautiful bedroom community of Hayden, and I don't appreciate the whole thing of, oh, the white supremacist are coming. Are we going to stand against BLM and then taper? Boy, the outcry that went against court lane when gun Delaney came along to protect all the businesses was ridiculous. We came to support our businesses and protect them, and then everyone's called a white supremacist. I'm sorry, but we're not white. Oh, I guess I'm not. Yes, I am, because the new, the term nowadays, white supremacist means you're a patriot. So I have a sign that I do carry sometimes and I say proud white supremacist because a white supremacist is a patriot. And I don't appreciate defining people by their race by their sex by their beliefs by their values, et cetera, we are all Americans. Thoughts, brother. She has the most appropriate last name of any person I've ever met. Excuse me. The name fits. It does. I just can't. I just can't. Where does this logic come from? I'm trying to understand. I really, really am. First thing I had to do was go ahead, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. To answer your question, where does the logic come from? More times than not, it's a lack of education. Truly, for sure. It's a lack of education. Because you can pick what the putts said about, you know, white supremacist means your patriot. No. No. No. So, you know, everything that spilled out of her pie hole, you know, smacks of a lack of education. Everything. She had nothing to substantiate her stupidity. And I'll just leave it at that. That's all she deserves. She opened a response by calling herself a minority. And that's true if she means it from the context of being a woman. Right. In this America, right? But in the context of that conversation at that board meeting, no. Not at all. And people who share, I think, this ideology can't separate the two. Either because they're spending an enormous amount of energy trying to justify their bad actions, they're bad ideology, that's not popular in the United States today, any longer, because again we always use a reference. They want to go back to the days of leave it to beaver in the 50s. Okay. She also called her community a bedroom community. I actually had to look that up. 'cause I didn't know what that meant, but it actually means a residential suburban habited by people who commute to a nearby city for work. I have no idea. Why that even needs to have a description. I won't tell you what I thought bedroom community meant. For people for a certain age group of.

They want it to be your my guy for linked in and you're going to get clients from linked. You're my guy for facebook. You're gonna clients from facebook. Well really what they need to do is they need to figure out that. They're in business to create and keep customer creating keep a client. They need to really master the marketing master understanding the process. And that doesn't mean they have to go in. I mean you don't do. This go is been an hour a day. Putz already hurting. Let's start with the The ahe women's open again was planning to have this lead the show but Mr fina and other plants. Anna norquist wins. It's her first win. Since the twenty seventeen avion showed the fame finishing four holes at carnoustie even partial. She's a three hundred sixty nine to win by one. at twelve. hundred. Gator third major title. Third european women to win three or four majors falling salmon. Laura davies the daimler. David you randy. What is your inside. What is your take on anna. Norquist's what do you feel when you watch anna stu sink of the women's just you know build. Seems like she should play power game. It's more just kind of plotting around. I don't know if she does anything truly flashy she can't chip which is kind of funny She's a dead either putting off the green. It's it's i don't know i've watched her play. It's shocking that she's one three majors in a way in that. She just has a bit of a quiet game about her. But you know obviously it was. It was good enough this week. And it's been good enough in the past. But i think she's just very solid and very steady and we played thirty. Six times played thirty six of bridge when she was paired with madeleine. I walked off the golf course. I've been i was. I was filming shots coming. I was separated from you guys. I came off the golf course. And said i believe my clothes and should be in jail because she hits the ball so freaking solid and hit just had some of the worst efforts on fifteen foot putts it was like the the quintessential bad rory putting around like. How can you hit it. This good and noggin anything to go. She was just an absolute nails. Not she never sees a ball even apex us. One of the most accurate drivers the ball of ever seen and just so solve their irons. Playing the quintessential smart shot into every green and just not converting. Any of the birds was maddening. The watch but i left. It was like watching leaving. How does she not win. More like how is she not like the number one player in the world. Kind of didn't even have to watch your head or tee shots. This week neil. Xactly yeah She's very quiet. And i'll say this i you know. I think this is where not having as build out stats on the women's side always leaves us like it's just open to like narratives right. It gets hard to conceptualize why she doesn't win more because we don't have the same amount of stats do on the men's side. So so it's you know. I i can't really tell you i can't pinpoint to one thing. Inner game but yeah. It's obviously she's got some short game issues but she was solid this week. I mean credit to our sixty five on saturday super solid seven sixty nine on sunday. It was a hell of a weekend links. Golf course would make a lot of sense for though you know you. Can putt from almost anywhere. If you're missing links flatter green yes. I mean had putz this week like she was in the mix all weekend and really a pretty good place. You're starting friday and Mean you send a couple through your like like like we'll get this pot. It was even in the freaking neighborhood. Like leaving eight-footers. Like a foot and a half shorten. She went on to win the tournament or ball. Striking is though it's insane. She's i think she's a decky like she's the female version of a worshiping version of decky of like. Yeah she probably like our party number. Probably check out pretty well this week but she hits it that good almost every week it seems like and we just don't hear the name enough because she doesn't pay good enough and i think she's got some Some k j choi inner. Where she she just really really solid with like woods off. The tees long irons kind of streaky with potter but just always like always in the mix with the iron right and then yeah i just think like it was such a fun leaderboard to watch great golf tournament and there was so many people in the mix you know. They're really from saturday. Saturday afternoon onwards. I thought the conditions sucked for lack of a better. I i'm with you there. We we did not get to open conditions which is a shame especially on the golf course and i thought i mean the the course played even even after all that rain on saturday. It's still relatively firm tita green and then the greens were just soft and sunday. But i thought there is good pin locations like the whole location on one. I thought was awesome. That's such a fun opening hole there. Carnoustie sweet is. It's such a good tournament. Golden really a great tournament golf course. They did like watching the fourteenth hole. All week was so much fun Honestly it took me until sunday. Before i realized i knew the spectacle bunkers but the fact that the spectacles make it blind like that was lost on me for all glowing very like. Oh shit. that's incredible great gatsby. Like the watching is of dr. tj kohlberg there and then that leads over to the final those final four holes which we've seen so many major championships come through that stretch and seeing heartache. And we've seen great shots padraig harrington comes to mind and sergio missing the pot. Of course sean. Van-de-velde we have tiger trying to rundown francesco molinari Just it's it's just you know Non nanna kurtz madsen hits it In the bunker there on eighteen. I'm thinking of craig. Perry hall in the bunker shot right before. John van develop then us really matter and pro golf and having that layer of all those men's championships. We've kind of highlighted a lot of the golf courses. The women are scheduled to play in major championships over the next several years that we've seen a lot of men's championships on it really does like we've said this a lot of time the more the women can draft off the men's game the better for everyone. It's an easier thing to get casual fan to chain to tune into the gulf when they know the golf course. I think that's enormous and i salute. Aig and all they've done to help the purse growth of that event and the for getting involved in hosting the event. I think since two thousand fourteen for a long time they didn't even now run the event and the future venues for this for this straight up tournament. All my god is fire field next year. Walden heath the old course and then royal porthcawl like that variety heathland course mixed in there. Muirfield didn't allow women members as a four years ago. And now they're hosting a edgy women's open and the old course speaks for. It's it'd be more fast to watch the women. The women play that then it will be the men. I mean the shot shots required for them. We'll be so much different than than poor calls. Weird and quirky funky in wales is just awesome. I don't wanna say uncharted. It's uncharted in my mind. Because i haven't been there That has me super excited. I i just like is crazy. How much different carnoustie played this year versus last time we saw..

The knicks been able to give fat especially the singers. Big luther If they had the talent they weren't stopping them from having careers where women they were stopping different. So the point is. I think it's just a different pressure. That women are under that men are not under is not saying that. They are not fully often under being scrutinized about their bodies absolutely. They have some But they just have more wiggle room. They just have more The spectrum of what they could be and be successful is wider. They can be. They can have a little belly they can have a little. You know i'm saying without being judged in the same way and still have a level success even with some strengthening like the ges are open about having like we fat hairy kuchis bug versus if you are assist format man. It'll be like not no he. You'd give a pass on. Have big very putz is true up. Now you brought it together. I didn't know why you're bringing up. But now i see what you're talking about though is more fit in tonight as to not have the bush win once you transition you can just be pushed out. Yeah okay. I i wish there like had some glasses like i figure like a sites is the make some glasses to wear if somebody like whip privileged Had somebody who has privileged when they put them on they can see the ship. Your legs don't worry you don't have to explain 'cause negative we act alike. They don't understand the the privilege they had is designed as as like not Hammerfest beauty standards than share they. Unfortunately but wait a minute some do yeah unfortunately but but then you guys on because they think it's because they don't do it you need to do we love you the way you are you underneath ago. The fed s booty knows no second be bothered by. What i don't like is when when they see women who invest in beauty invest in being objectified invest in being that kept woman invest in being the whole invest in exploiting the the the structures of society in saying. Oh well if. I'm gonna be exploited. I'm going to get your how much money. How much to give the basketball player. The ballplayer blah blah blah. What i don't like is when men use those women. As example to almost illegitimate is what we're seeing. That is the structure like. They was like women do that to themselves. Yes there are some women who play that role who exploit the the way. The world is is like black people they know. Racism exists so they will try to exploit the you know research white respectable ideals and get money looking candace owens. They try to do these things to try to get money and work that system. That wrong fucked up system in their favor. I'm trying to get degrees. I'm trying to be this. i'm not trying to. I'm trying to be a clarence thomas. I'm trying to be this all day. Everyday person and not wear bonnets and do all the things that i think is respectful so the white people can respect us. And we'd get where we need to be although things. I think that people do that. It's the same thing women's some of them do what needs to be done so they can succeed out here and get money successful and play against that and and that's the different degrees like some of them are extremely your gums and and some of them are some of us. Do it subtly. I wanna live. You wanna look pretty. I wanna gear. I you know. I wanna get a perm. I want to see when i when i go to the job interview. I'm not gonna wear by natural hair. I'm gonna when i go to the when i get i may wear my natural hair all the time but when i get but when my wedding. I'm getting a flat iron. That says something when it's an event i'm getting straight. The straight is worse special occasions regular deg. Having natural can be proud and say oh. I'm natural that adopts. But every time i see every time i come up. I'm choosing to straighten curly bumpy. Da da that says something and sometimes it's subtle and sometimes it's more extreme like i'm going to get my boots. I'm gonna to give away subbed in and i'm going to the club without a ballers indicated us sometimes it's extreme and sometimes it's subtle and so but that doesn't mean when we tell you niggers about what's happening in the world when it comes to sexism when it comes to You know y'all objectify us in a misogyny end up positioning are put us in just because there are women who play to those exploits doesn't mean that the system that we're talking about are not real. I hate when they act like it's not real just because other women uphold those misogynistic patriarchal sanders. We talked about this in our um toxic toxic immunity episode. It doesn't mean that it does. Those structures and systems don't exist that are pressure women just because some women go ride with the way. It doesn't mean that it doesn't exist. So i hate when they say that it doesn't exist by by and using women as an example if have opinions about it listeners. Make sure your let us now. What your opinion is about. You know surgery. But if he doesn't have a good case, and I can't use it, and it's a waste of money, and I have to ask him to return it. I feel bad. So that's the danger. That's that's the risk. Yeah. Well, I see that. Do you realize Thank you. You're in the light. That The vote is gone overwhelmingly for gift. What That's why it raised the topic. It was definitely It was definitely A personal foul. Get it? First of foul you down. No, no Boom, boom. You know what's crazy is I ever went through. I'll be walking out here and we'll get pelicans out here and sometimes will be too. One time I walked out here. I think I'll take a video of it. There must have been 50 or more pelicans, and they were just all up and I don't know what happened. There was a like a run of feeder fish for lack of a better term. I'm not sure what fish were running. But there had there must have been and I kid you not there had to be 1000 birds out there and they're just dive bombing. Yeah, the pelicans were. The other ones were like on the water and some of them. The seagulls were out there a swell but it wasn't because it was like a Navy area out there is like incredibly just sat there for an hour and watch these birds and I don't know what fish Happened to be under the water, But I always think, man that it is such a bummer I get is going about your day. You got a tiny little brain, So you don't even know what the hell you're doing. You know you're a chicken, your fish or whatever. And just bam! Just out of nowhere. Let's just get you just get knocked senseless and your lunch or dinner or depending on what time of day it is, But these pelicans You could see him. They'd fly, and then they've kind of circle and they glide a little bit. And as soon as they pull their wings in then it was Home. It was nose dive, and they were Bam and I sat there for an hour watching. Probably at least 100 hits to the water. And you see, No What? Pam? Bam! They get up. They kind of skim the water. Then they start, you know, getting elevation again, and they join the pelican buddies, And then they, you know, die bomb and just to watch him kind of circle and then see something. And then you know from 100 ft or more. Just pull the wings in and who boom hit the water and then Take off again. It was it was a pretty It was a pretty cool site. I mean, is savage is nature is And that's one of the reasons I love watching. I'm a huge Nature. Show guy. I mean, I hate it when some gets killed but is always told Laurie and the kids and like they gotta eat, too. So it sucks for the the gazelle or whoever that just got slaughtered by that lion. But lions gotta eat too. And that's just the way the animal kingdom works. But man Can you imagine? Like George Morgan Freeman in the Penguin? Your movie? Yeah. You're part of the food chain. Like every day you are part of the food chain life If you have your if you don't have your that light streets out there, that that that that putz head on the swivel to a whole new meaning you better have your head. On a swivel and then, conversely, thinking about like all the carnivores If you don't hunt you die. I mean, every day you've got to go out, and it's either your cubs your kittens or what? Commission sales? What's like the PGA Tour? You don't get you don't get the money. You don't get paid. You just go back to your pack your stuff up and go to the next tournament. Hope for better. And if not, you go to the Q school Except for the Q school for those animals is death. They just die of hunger because they can't They can't cut it. That is the definition of survival of the fittest because the best make it the most elusive make it and then they could breed and continue on the line and the ones that are the best of hunting. They hunt and they can breed and they continue the line, but boy watching those shows. Is just it's not the most fun watching some of these animals kit get hunted by carnivores, but Ideas. I marvel absolutely marvel in nature, and I just everyone throughout. Think, man can you imagine? Like if we were part of the food chain like every day? You're like part of the part of the food chain. You just let it for a little bit. Oh, yeah. I'm going to stop here and check this score. I just want to see who's winning this game. Bam! Yeah, the CIA, the saber toothed tiger and the against the wooly mammoth. A little early mammals wasn't it wasn't a corner of work. But if it stepped on, you had a problem. I guess you imagine us outside to get a little little little son and then boom. Well, that's the thing you know you go. Grizzly bears out there You are now part of the family. Good. No, you are now part you're not top dog anymore. It's like it's it's Yeah, it's kind of. Ah. "You. That's Matt Belloni, Former editorial director up the Hollywood reporter. The new Netflix movie, the Midnight Sky. George Clooney plays the lone scientist left on an Arctic observatory after an unnamed disaster has made Earth uninhabitable to save humanity. He must make contact with a group of homeward bound astronauts to tell them to turn back and seek refuge elsewhere in the Galaxy. Come in, either. This is Barbeau Observatory. Are you receiving this? Is anyone out there. Clooney also directed the Midnight Sky, which he made with his long time producing partner. Grant has lost their previous collaborations include Good Night and Good Luck and the Ides of March, and they were producers on Argo, which won the best picture Oscar in 2013. We spoke to Heslop include me the day after the deadly assault on the Capitol, and the events of the last 24 hours were top of mind for both of them were on a text chain with a bunch of bodies and it zit nonstop 24 hours of, you know of texting of outrage about what's going on. The interesting thing, though, is, you know it's devastating to watch the people's house being desecrated in that way. But it is also a tremendous overreach in a way that sort of is everybody we kept waiting for. What's the one thing that you know what? What's the straw that breaks the camel's back? And it just seemed like that line just kept getting moved and moved and moved and Outrage just didn't you know, even matter anymore and the you know, even to the point of calling, you know the secretary of state in Georgia and pressuring him? None of that seemed to matter. This mattered this putz. You know, this is a big big difference, and, you know This is what it takes to sort of set us on the right path. I think that not that it's worth it. It's certainly not worth it in any way, shape or form, But at least we should find something. Hopeful to come out of some of this disaster, you know? Yeah, as we speak, trumpets still president, but we don't know whether by the time this airs whether he gets to the end, and it's not that much left, but Certainly we've heard the speaker talk about this. And I'm just for the sake of this conversation, making it clear where in time we are when we're talking Grant are you truly is passionate as George's about this stuff for. Does he seem more obsessed than you are? No, no, I'm equally assed passion. I don't have the bully pulpit that he has, but I but Yeah, It's been a hard for years for everybody. And I'm just I'm very optimistic. Right now. I feel like 2021 is going to be Just a much better year all around for everybody, You know, I mean, it's not just it's not just that that's going on. We're in the middle of a pandemic as well, You know, And you know, this show is about about business. And our business right now is in a state a state of flux like we've never seen before. Who we don't know. It's how it's going. And to be quite honest with you. Yeah. You've opened the door to the logical next sort of questions. I mean, this film that you've made now it's for Netflix. And I think they brought the material to you guys. Is that in my remembering this right? Yes. Yeah, they had option the book and Commissioner script and the very first draft of the script that came in They called us up and said You guys want to, you know, Do you want to do this? George? Do you want to direct it and you guys want to produce it in George, Will you be in it? Yeah. Well, George, I thought if I'm remembering, I thought you actually made the pitch to direct. It. Was that not right that I get that right? Did I mean they they send it to us with the option. First and foremost, They wanted me to be in it, which makes sense since I'm old enough, but you know, And then there was a question of whether or not we wanted to take it on and produce it and do all the you know it's a question whether what you wanted to be a 2.5 months acting job or you want to make it a year and a half. Of hard work, and we sort of we both grant. I looked at it and we were like, I think I had to take on. What I thought we want to do is a film and we knew how to produce it. And so we thought, Well, let's just take the whole The whole thing and jump in, do you? That's a function where Grant decides whether he's going to He's going to be. You know, I assume a little bit more producing side and, you know, he says, Well, I do want to produce it and you're like me to or who takes the lead on this. No. You know, we don't work like that. Really? Yeah. I mean, if George is going to direct where he and I are going to produce it, and lines are blurred and producing, you know, there's a lot of different things to be done on. Even when you're directing their stuff that bleeds over into producing because I'm if I'm acting also, grant sit in the chair. And so I'm acting..

So you know in that printer could be used for your personal use. You know, you could be using personally and things like that. So You know there isn't anything necessary. You're spending that much more Toto work out of that office. And who probably actually saving money from commuting. Yeah, that's true. Maybe so. Did I see somewhere that the three martini lunch if you will, the business expense for businessmen and women. For dining has been expanded to 100% of the check. So is to encourage them to when they can go back out and patronize restaurants. Yes, that is correct. They did update that That is true. Good idea, right? I mean, if you can find a place that will that will let you in. Which absolutely. Maybe it's a moot point for a while here for a while. Yeah, 773 texted in to say, I've been told to keep 10 years worth of backup documents. For my soul proprietor business. Does that mean 2021 plus nine years or plus 10 years and my shredding 2011 or not? Yeah. You know, the general rule of thumb is, you know 3 to 7 years years with playing with your putz, your sole proprietor, the higher risk and actually if they find some kind of negligence of some kind or son If they feel like, you know, you haven't been keeping accurate books and records. They had actually open up your every single year. They want S o there is that so there's really no hard and fast, you know, rule there. But you know, the more you keep Obviously the butter. There was a year ride had something on my taxes that I wasn't sure about. And then a year to lapses, and I didn't get audited. How long can you How long does the Iris go before you can say OK? I'm clear. You know, I'm not going to get audited for that year. This is just the next tax year or do some people get a called 34 years down the road and go. Hey, we finally caught up with your return, and we got to talk to you about something. It's generally three years. Uh, you know, for the effect, you know, from the assessment of the taxes from the date you file the return. Um, but again, they could go back. And if they think that you under so in those three years if they feel like you've under reported in any way And they could open it up again and go back further. Couple more questions that I know. And I wanted to make sure we got answers, too. If I filed for unemployment will I owe the government money in April? Conceivably you could write Yes, Yes, Absolutely. If I'm a first time freelancer gig worker. What tips do you have for filing? Yeah, This is important. So I mean, if you're a lot, there's a lot of new freelancers and one of the things one of the mistakes that freelancers makers they don't you know, your They're not aware of what we call self employment taxes. So the additional layer of text, which is basically Medicare, so security, so in addition to your federal income, tax and state income taxes, you're also required to pay self employment. Jax Well, when you're the owner of a business, you're you're also the employee of the same business. So you take on two characters, the employer and the employee well in a typical W two situation, a regular job. Usually the employee doesn't see that the employers matching their fight on Medicare. So then when you become self employed, you have to match your own The fight Medicare. On your own income, So that's another 15.3%. So you have to make sure you budget for that, In addition to your federal and state income taxes 15.3% another is it seven and I pay seven and the employer pay seven. So it's a total of 15. Or is it an additional 15? It's a total of 15. So basically it's 66.2%, which is so Security Times two and 1.45% times to giving us a total of 15.3 and one of the other recommendations. I make a lot of times. It's too late because they've already negotiated Flat rate for their work is you know if you're going to charge someone, let's say, $30, you're going to negotiate a $30 our you know, consulting engagement or something like that. You may want to bump it up 10% to cover that. Basically, you're splitting the cost with your with your client. So instead of $30 an hour you might want to ask for 33 to cover you know the extra portion Because otherwise you're taking a little bit of a pay cut. If you don't do that, I got.
