Sorry, but if you had some perspective on nobody has depth to their world deals people look to America for their world answers. We have like only 10% of Americans have a passport. "You know? And then I took a couple of selfish of myself in the bathroom thinking, I was going to post this picture, and I looked at them. They really didn't look. And I'm going to right? There's a bad idea. Now. Not post granting forget it forget it. This was good in theory. Yeah. Maybe I need the billowy dress. I don't know. So I got in the shower wash my hair get out of the shower, brushing, my hair on the you know, it screw it. So I sat down this natural light coming in from the window. It was sitting at the tub, and I took the picture, and I posted it, and I wrote this is fifty done because I couldn't think of like what I really wanted to say. And I thought that's it fifty man the comments good or bad both. I mean, it's anything bad. This is the this is the most comments, I think I've ever gotten really. Yeah. There were over six thousand comments g that is so many. Yeah. Six thousand and over one hundred and twenty thousand likes. Yeah. And so a lot of people were like. I mean, lots of really fabulous comments. No, this is twenty two. This is I mean, like sweet sweet daisy point love and adore. Chris Williams, very, dear friend of mine. Brian so many like lovely beautiful. Gabby Reese left me a phone the other night, and that couple of all the other people that narrowly put together in the video for me. I mean, just like really super beautiful messages. So when I posted this, and that's all I said, so the the beautiful comments were as you can imagine. And there were many not beautiful comments. And this is why I'm going to bring it up. I don't I didn't read them all. But I started to whatever people were writing like, oh, this is fifty when you're married to a plastic surgeon where when you have botox and filler, or when you die your hair, or when you get laser treatments, and I know in the list went on and on you know, what I didn't say. This is a face that has never been touched by botox. Right. I said this is fifty right? And you know, what whatever that means to you. I'm tired of defending myself. I haven't had plastic surgery. But right, do I get botox? I do a couple times a year sparingly, right? 'cause I want my kids to know. I mad at them. And I want my face to be able right to move. And when I'm really really skinny I'll get sculpture in the hollows of my temple and in my the body. What do you call this the hollow of your cheek, right? I'm genetically blessed to have very nice cheekbones. Right. I don't get filler sculpture is this stuff that was actually invented for aids patients to regrowed their own collagen. So it's kind of like injecting fertilizer, and you re grow your own college. Right. It's like a long-term more of a longer term than instant. Yeah. And so when I get hollow in my temples, and in the bottom of my hollow. My cheeks. Yeah, I'll do that. But if we're just talking about regular volume, a look, my mom, right? My mom is going to be what seventy six this year. Never had anything. Right. She looks fantastic right genes. Play a lot of it. You know, what else plays into it the way eat the way? I sleep sleep water the way, I drink water and my skin care routine. Yeah. And if you think all of that doesn't play into it, you're, but I will tell you this. I had a facial when we got back from Punta Cana. Did I tell you this? Oh, my skin something about the water there. Right. Put this weird dry film over my skin. Okay. So I had a facial. That was the first facial. I've had in stone. But I think that's the first fish. I've had three years. You know, what the funniest thing that people make comments is you are surprisingly, ridiculously low maintenance like you taping in your own extensions. You do your own share.

"Perfect getaway. You're listening to vacation with the Griswold with Stephen Lisa griswald. Hello, we're back and we're switching gears this time. We have Maryland Cairo who is the director of sales with charisma resorts. Welcome marilyn. Thank you so much, and we're gonna be talking about charisma, I like talking charisma, well, you got to go. I did I had to stay home with the kids. She gets to go all the fun places. She obviously. Colombian resort was SpongeBob. I did. But aren't you going away for a week tomorrow me used to be my ringtone, but I'm not going to charisma? All right, anyway, Marilyn, thank you so much for taking the time to talk to us about charisma, and let's get started with a kind of the resort portfolio. What is charisma resort? That's the. All encompassing brand. But what are we going to know it as anything else? Well, Caribbean hotels and resorts offered a variety of properties throughout the Caribbean in some very well sought after destination. So what we're going for is that gourmet inclusive concept, and it's about delivering the best food the best service in an all inclusive landscape and really making the experience for the clients memorable. Okay. Excellent. What cities are we going to sign Jin? You're gonna find us in Mexico in the Riviera Maya you will find us in the Dominican Republic and Connor and you'll find us in Jamaica on the grill grill, okay? All right. So I would like to start with what I know which would be Nickelodeon, which is in Punta Cana Dominican Republic. I absolutely loved the resort so much. So that I switched from the resort where I was actually booked and switched over to Nickelodeon. It was it was everything that we needed. It was clean. It was safe. It was convenient. It was bright. It was cheery. It was well laid out. I it sounds like the staff that you guys had sounded phenomenal. They were so into. Making us feel welcome. And making sure we were having a good time and in many different aspects. So I really appreciated that so toss about Nickelodeon in Punta Cana. Well, you know, Lisa for me. I think it's a huge accolade that you would say that. Because one of the things that client associate Nickelodeon with is families and children. But the reality is we also cater to the adult. And we want to make sure that there are adults only experiences adult only Yuxin crannies to kinda relaxing joy. So all we do focus on children and activity. We've got all the fun stuff. Nickelodeon is known for character. Meet and greet to have to have time for relax station for fun for adults. I didn't get the perfect resort to blend the two together. And you were there as part of a group, and you all adults for you to walk away feeling like, wow. That was such a fantastic state. That's a huge accolade for us in delivering that experience that the brand want to be known for. Yeah. Because I think when I think of Nickelodeon resort before I knew what it was just as a consumer just kind of you know, I thought this is the whole place is going to be Nickelodeon themed. It's a family getaway from beginning to end. There's going to be characters is going to be a waterpark. But it's from looking at, you know, Lisa's trip photos and hearing about her trip when she just went. You know, it's kind of split up. So there's a whole resort. That's that sounds like it's for adults and beautiful that everybody can enjoy. And then there's this kind of Nickelodeon pieces extremely well. Done. But it wasn't over the top in your face kid. We had a blimp Nickelodeon blimp in our room two of those that was nice, and you've got the break colors, and this and that and you've got SpongeBob on the privacy shade between the bathroom in the room beds. But it wasn't crazy over the top. And it's not like kids running around. And it was very nice mix. Well, it is. It's a nice mix. And you're not. You don't feel like you're at a kid targeted resort where everyone's got three kids in tow, you've got people with kids without kids. It's a very laid back environment. Which is exactly what we needed. I I think you guys are hitting the nail on the head by saying that there was a dull only spaces, and then the Nick place all the fun happens is somewhat removed from the property. So again, it's a perfect blend for adults and children. So I'm glad you walked away with that impression because that's exactly had the best way to describe the Nickelodeon and Ghana. They keep the kids activities in the back of the resort. And it's not like you have to have the kids back there. You can have them anywhere. But that's where it's and it's it's a little removed. So they actually make it a privilege to use Aquidneck, which is the waterpark area. Lazy river. Nickelodeon guests get us that but the. The. Since the Tory has to pay an additional fee. So we got the best of both worlds all the world's. That was good. The other thing I loved about when you were at the resort is just the photos from the different restaurants. I mean, they seem like they were like you were saying the gourmet kind of theme or kind of runs throughout the resort. I mean, they the decor. Everything from I saw in the pictures of the decor was like over the top amazing. There were so well put together I mean, everything from even the little burger place that you guys went to had like erga is the name of there you go further. Is the name, but it had like its own little what is it? Like a truck. Can't even think of like a street food truck inside the restaurant built in the decor was just spectacular than you guys said the food everywhere you went was was great as well. Once. Man. That's one of the things that the resort is known for is the gourmet village on not only are the restaurants and the gourmet corners. Well, but also every is very unique and catering to that feeling of the restaurant. Plus there's areas again that offered the adults only dining experience. I mean, you're looking at a hotel less than two hundred and fifty sweep and has ten restaurant. Plenty for everyone to enjoy. I just wanna point out that at the coffee shop they've got this. It's not a slushy. But for lack of a better term. It's kind of like a smoothie slushy. But it's coffee flavored is fantastic. And the Oriel cake that they haven't in a coffee shop every night. Good. Well, there were lots of little touches too. I mean for for kids, I think if you have kids, I think I saw pictures of strollers with, you know, like a character in the in the stroller in little robes, and yeah, all kinds of stuff. They're gonna accommodate babies, and and then even those like the things that our kids love that are so ridiculously expensive with is like this little apple juice pouches. Apple sauce pouches. Yeah. And they had stuff like that bananas. That you could just come up and grab one. And and go. Yeah. I thought that right. There was genius. Having those little fruit pouches. Available just to grab and go. So for all inclusive. Do you have to did you guys have to book dining times you walk up to do? Both. How's it work? I'll let me slow with you rush. Now. Go ahead. I think most of it. There was only one that required. Reservations right that correct. And we try and keep it very relaxed and casual the one that does require restaurant is going to be the most popular one. So that would be it. But again, very relaxed you eat when you want to eat you. It's convenient for you know, stressing over reservation. Okay. So I could talk all day about neck because I loved it that much, but let's go over to Rivera Maya and talking about the locations you have there. So where do you wanna start on? My favorite's probably one of my favorite destinations. I mean, Mexico as a country is fabulous and Riviera Maya itself festival to get to from so many different cities, the culture, the people the food. Ambiance just attraction the history that there. And I mean, we're fortunate knits industry, we get to go and travel and have fun. But just every time I go to different experience for me in the Ramiro Maya, and I I can never stop talking about it. Because of how it makes me feel not only when I get there. But when I leave and it to me, it's attributed to the people, really. Okay. Well, in this segment, we're gonna have about another minute that we can talk about something. So if we want to do a quick overview on. I don't even know how we even do a quick overview. So. Who is this just a nation could or? Is it going to be welcoming everyone? Absolutely gonna be welcoming everyone on adults only destination wedding groups family travel. We do a lot of family reunions in nowadays, people are doing multigenerational travel, grandparents picking up the grandkids and just taking a trip to an exotic destination and leaving mom and dad at home. Sometimes. So really, it's a destination that offers something for everyone and a lot of the attractions and in Mexico actually cater to all ages. And so we have hotels that are going to do the same whether an adults only experience or family travelers. Well, okay. So what I'd like to do is when we come back from the break, we're going to talk about the specific accommodations that are available and get into more detail about each of those so. We'll be back in just a minute. We'll be right back with more vacation with the griswald. Biz talk. News wants to feature your business. Nickelodeon in Punta Cana Well you know Lisa for me I think it's a huge accolade that you would say that because one of the things, that client associate Nickelodeon with is families and. Children but the reality is that we also catered to, the adult, and we, wanna make sure that. There are adults only experiences adult only Yuxin crannies to kinda relaxing joy so what we do a focus on children and activity we've got. You know all the fun. Stuff Nickelodeon is known for character and. Meet-and-greet Time for relaxation for fun but he didn't get. The perfect resort to blend the two together and you were there as part of a group and you all adults for, you to walk away feeling like wow that. Was such a fantastic thing you know that's a huge, accolade for, us in, delivering that experience that. The brand want to be known for Yeah because I think when I think of Niccolo resort before I knew what it, was just as a consumer just kind of I thought this is. The whole place is going to be Nickelodeon themed it's a family getaway from beginning to end there's going to, be, characters is going to be a. Waterpark but, it's from looking at you know Lisa's trip photos and hearing about her trip when she just went Split up so there's a whole resort that's that sounds like, it's for adults beautiful that, everybody can, enjoy and then there's this kind of Nickelodeon pieces extremely well done But it wasn't over the top in your face kid We. Had a blimp. Nickelodeon blimp in our room to those that was, nice and you've got the break colors and this man you've got SpongeBob, on the, privacy shade between the bathroom in the. Room the beds but it wasn't crazy over the top, and it's not like kids running around and it was It was a nice mix well it is it's a nice mix and you're not You don't. Feel like you're at a kid targeted. Resort where everyone's got three kids in tow you've got people with. Kids without kids it's a. Very, laid back. Environment which is exactly what we needed I, I think you guys are hitting the nail. On the head by saying that there was adults only spaces and then the Nick place all the fun happens is somewhat. Removed from the property so again it's a, perfect blend for adults and children so I'm glad. You walked away with that impression because. That's exactly had the best way to describe the Nickelodeon and propaganda They keep the kids activities in the back. Of the resort and you have to have the kids back there you can have them anywhere but that's where it's okay And it's it's a, little removed so they actually make it a privilege. To use Aquidneck which is, the waterpark area lazy river Nickelodeon guests get us that but the The the. Sensitivity has to pay an additional fee so, we got the best of both. Worlds all the world's that, was good The other thing I loved about when you were at the resort is just the photos from the. Different restaurants, I mean they. Seem like they were like you were saying the gourmet kind of theme or runs throughout the resort I mean they the decor everything from I saw in the pictures of the decor was like over the top amazing there were so. Well put, together everything from even the little burger place that. You guys went to had like burger is, the name of there you go Is the name of but it had like its own little what is it like a like a street. Food truck Inside the restaurant built in the decor, was just spectacular than you guys said. The food everywhere you went was was great as well Mean. That's, one of the things that the resort is known for is the gourmet village not only are the restaurants and the gourmet corners well But,.

Keeps other out and makes it a little more exclusive that's good absolutely and for people that. Because we do a lot of Disney shows and. Orlando shows this Nickelodeon is nothing like if you remember. The Nickelodeon in Orlando which was not very, well received did not have certain, standards at the Orlando, the one in Punta Cana is a totally different, thing And it's it's absolutely amazing yeah so yes You you can't associate the. Only oh my gosh it doesn't even look real beautiful it has a very. Hilly terrain and typically the way that it works donkeys you climb onto the back of a donkey and the donkey carries you up the side. Of the hill or the hilly terrain in Santa rainy so you, can see all the beautiful views donkeys are very. Strong very strong known for carrying. Loads except for us our fatness as Americans are crippling the backs of the donkey's They can't they break their their. Backs the donkey is don't have the energy and they colossus horrible terrible, because we are, so fat as Americans and God. Forbid we walk up the hill in Santa rainy we'll use a donkey to. Get up there for example when I was on we're on our honeymoon in Punta Cana they offer horseback riding horses are stronger bigger than donkeys. But don't are strong and I remember when I walked up first, of all my wife Kelly grew up with horses. So in a normal circumstance apparently. You're supposed to wear pants So I'm walking, on the, beach is ninety degrees outside. Wearing jeans and tennis shoes, everyone else has shorts on yeah They say they, said that I went. To the same, places, you, they, said that before you go make sure you wear long pants but it's so hot I was, like hell no no one else known else. Did so is it was the information my wife gave me, is correct is being we're the only ones wearing pants you're sweating and like, this is, going, to, be, so. Romantic and then the worker so me walk.
