The law calls for felons to include the exact amount in the court costs that they owe when they apply to vote with the Florida Department of State. "Contest text word for this hour did mention for those of you interested. The Bucks on. I guess the way they've structured this is if you play the first game of the day. That's the way it's going to go all the way through the round of it. The bikes have played the early gave each game of the four so far and They're all played, of course in that bubble in Orlando, and they beat a letter today. 1 21 21 15. They were actually out by only three points after three quarters and pulled away in the fourth and I just I didn't see any of the game today. I just really busy. I checked through the box score. It's been the typical box score that you've seen down the stretch for the bucks. Very balanced. Scoring. The going red tend 10 or 11 players played and the stat lines again just dominated by Johannes with everybody else kind of an okay contribution, Yanis said. 31 15 and a 31 points, 15 rebounds and eight assists. I think Middleton and 21 nobody else had more than 10 or 12 points. I think, Wes I don't Wesley Matthews said. A few threes maybe four of them. And it was enough to pull away. Down the stretch. The talk of the N B, a playoffs for those who have paid No attention to them is just the emergence of Luca Don chick is maybe the best player in the league. In fact, the debate right now is not Is it Yanis or LeBron? Or is it Yanis or hardened? Debate is whether or not the best player in the league is Zahniser Loca, Don chick and Right now, not for the duration of the correct, but right now I think that Johannes is the best player in the league and don tickets a close second. There may be tied. And if somebody argued that Luca don tickets, the best basketball player in the world I wouldn't quarrel with that. I think Kawai letters let it is third. LeBron is fourth and I only put James Harden down fifth. He's more of a one dimensional player and he misses two body shots read everybody else would be in the tear. Although that, as for fans reacting to it, no one knows why the TV ratings are down. Is it because the game seem blah with no fans in the stands? Is it because people can't get into watching basketball in August? Is it because of the over politicization? Or is it because people have just found other things to dio? Is one of the reasons that baseball is down is because it's competing with basketball. In other words, baseball always had this part of the year to itself. They'd only be competing with preseason football. In the NFL comes in assuming they start, which is goingto overlap with the N BA Finals and with baseball down the stretch where you're really going to be carving the piece, puzzle the pie up into a lot of pizzas, sizzling summer cash contest. Coronavirus: cruise passengers relieved to be ashore but stranded in Cambodia

"The cruise industry may have some reputation damage to conduct after how the corona viruses wreaked havoc on a couple of it ships the western dam arrived in Cambodia and allowed passengers to disembark after days of circling the city but over the weekend on American passenger tested positive for the virus raising concerns that infected passengers were dispersing across Asia then there was the diamond princess anchored off the coast of Japan were passengers were quarantine for two weeks as the virus spread to more than six hundred of the thirty seven hundred on board both of those ships are owned by carnival what now analysis from al dill Guido president of the north six agency communications and social media firm in New York City al how do you see it Carter was gonna have a problem here and it's gonna be a major problem because they're being associated their cruise line is being associate were coronavirus coronavirus something good coming out of the news reports recorder virus and the fact that they're taking on passengers now that they were cruising in that area the taking of passengers who are being quarantine on the ship it's not a it's you know it's it's not a great place to be for them for brand standpoint could you start to call into question you know what's what's the impact of having quarantine passengers who have either have or haven't you have not been yet detected as having coronavirus on ships of theirs so my sense is they should have been over communicating from the very beginning and they weren't and that's not a good situation for them to be in right now from a consumer standpoint do we hold all cruise lines are all crews are operators accountable or do we want to win on carnival and say I'm not not ceiling carnival anymore like how does that work the card above the carnival is just is one symptom of this whole issue I think it really is a call to action to all the crew to a court cruise lines to say what are you doing on an ongoing basis within your cruise line for from a hygiene standpoint mcclemon this standpoint from a detection standpoint all of those issues are going to be res now because god forbid somebody who had yet been made detector coronavirus jumped on another cruise line and then eventually when they got to port they were found is having the disease so you know the cruise industry has had issues before with the customer experience and customer issues they need to be out ahead of that a bomb the prime of royal Caribbean and for many of these other cruise lines that are out there I'm really starting to talk about what they do on an ongoing basis within their ship environment with their staff with their with their crew with their passengers to make sure that there's no outside kind of influences coming into the cabin bar because you're here you are on a on a cruise in your all kind of isolated together be it you know all the gonna decker in the cabins are in dining rooms and then you've got step there and crew there you know you're going to be sorry the questions are going to start to come up now for all the cruise lines so that from a cruise line now I'm doing everything I can from a PR standpoint to be out there talking not about the court of ours which is talking about what you do to make sure that your cruise lines would please put queen and that you have a level of safety built into your ongoing way which you engage with passengers that protects them from any kind of issue like this speak with L. dog we don't he's president of north six agency a communications and social media firm in New York talk about the cruise industry in corona virus one of those crisis response meetings like for carnival right now yeah it's not pleasant I think with their store to see obviously is people who were planning on doing you don't taking your cruise anywhere within the whole fleet of where they're going are starting to have second guessed more maybe you'll go on that cruise maybe we'll go to a different cruise line so they're probably taking you see the significant cancellation hit our people already books cruises so they get those prices meanings are what we say right now to make sure that people understand that the issue whatever issue there has been isolated system the Asian Pacific region and just to several ships they've got to do everything possible to just kind of block walls and good and isolate those cruises no ships as opposed to every other chip that they have in their fully going to other destinations because it just took the passengers that are in the mood and those are booking cruises are going to have to marry all of this with with other you know destinations in cruise cruise ships and everything else they have to be out of the front is dramatically quickly and animated movies quick as they should have they should have been out there saying it's isolated to the water damage isolated to these different ships and that's it and here's what we're gonna do with those ships once they come into port and people disembark we're going those are you get those ships input north port what more balls and then they're going to be the clean like you would ever clean the shipper before so there's no issue at all they haven't done all that so but in their crisis meetings that's what they're talking about the messaging they want to get out to the public to the press to the consumer to the booking a trip there was a you know they're isolated situations with isolated ships it does not have anything to do with the regular cruise Lotto cruise destinations that have been there please thanks L. "At graduation. Time. There are some conditions. I there will be a discussion with staff and students to reestablish positive relationships on. And of course, students will have to help set up for the graduation ceremony at six o'clock in the morning on the day of the ceremony. I actually agree with that. That's good punishment. Yeah. I'll let you move around early this next laser story is out of Salt Lake City. Utah. Nine one one received a bizarre. Call the other night. It was a group of people who are stuck in a crowded elevator. Currently the last two people who jumped on the elevator go past its weight limit. So it stopped and for some reason, the doors didn't open the best part of the story, though. Was that the elevator was in public safety building, which happens to be the same building where the nine one one dispatchers work. Everybody who's in the elevator work for the police force. At first, this was a prank and said, they didn't believe them. But once the cops explained that they were being serious. And yes, they were calling from inside the building. A dispatcher asked the Salt Lake City fire department to come over and rescue everybody when the cops heard that plan, one of them responded saying, quote about the fire department can't wait to post on social media. And of course they did. Fortunately, the rescue went smoothly and everybody in the elevator was fine. This next laser story is out of New York City. The other night, a twenty six year old guy named Finian connected with dude on the dating app. Greiner turns out they had a lot in common so he invited the mystery man over and they proceeded to have a crazy night that included romance intimacy latex, and rubber gloves adult toys, and a certain type of swing..

5 civilians dead, 5 officers wounded in Illinois shooting

"There are right now what we do know is that defied civilians were killed on the scene by this, man. Gary Martin forty five year old who was an employee. At one point of the company do relief relieved of his job two weeks ago. According to his family have been brooding and angry he has criminal conviction. An assault with a with a knife from. Years ago in Mississippi somehow did have a gun today walked into that building. Twenty nine thousand square foot industrial floor and just started firing shots at one twenty four PM today and four minutes later Aurora. Police arrived the first four arriving Lossers went through the door met with gunfire returning gunfire. Five total police officers hit with gunfire. Another one injured and five civilians dead that we know of this moment at nine o'clock Kim, Gordon, there's going to be a press conference. In which more details are going to emerge. We're told that originally there were reports that there were a dozen people that had been shot civilians that had been shot, but the, but we have been able to confirm that sent. Now, we know that several people went to the hospital on somewhere transferred, but to other hospitals, but we just don't have a confirmation on exactly how many people were injured or the extent of their injuries. At this point. Maybe Ryan will be able to pin it down later tonight or they'll talk about it later. But at this point, we can't confirm the conditions of any of those other ones who are who are injured or how many people went to the hospital. So let's go back to that for just a second because it's important of the four police officers. I'm sorry. The five police officers who were shot two of them were transported by helicopter to hospitals in Chicago from Aurora and the other three were. Captain aurora. So one would assume that that those officers were well enough to stay there. The the two that were transported by helicopter, obviously, more critical condition, and that's what necessitated that transport. So we we know that there that at least in terms from the police side of this. You do have we at at this moment, we know that all five at least survived the initial part of the right? And we did also have a six officer hurt but not hit by gunfire. So we can assume they're probably going to be. Okay. Right. That that those are the two that were transported were not one hundred percent. Sure of but the. The question does remain. If there were more civilians who were how many more civilians actually were hit by by gunfire in this incident. And all of that is coming your way at nine o'clock tonight. And you did have this is J B pretenders just new on the job, right? He's sworn in just a little over a month ago as the governor of Illinois and arrive they held a press conference for a little bit while he was arriving to the scene. He got a brought with him there were state law enforcement already on the scene, you thanked the state law enforcement. Thank the FBI, the ATF who are immediately on the scene. Also, some of the other police organizations from around the area, we saw Chicago police vehicles. On the scene there today as well. So I mean, it was from this is a massive massive area-wide response to this because they didn't know how how bad it was. And we still and again, I think that's what I'm trying to get to here is I I want to caution people that the the the full extent of this is not yet known and at nine o'clock tonight. I think there will be more information forthcoming, maybe unsettling, and it could be days before we know the whole story. Oh, for sure for sure for sure. But in terms of just the the, you know, the numbers as we know the more of the conditions of people because it's also a situation where family members have to be told what's going on. There is a reunification because there were a number of employees, dozens of employees who were on that floor on that in that that was a warehouse floor that we're all this happened. There are working there at that moment. And they have to be reunified with their family. That's being done at the gymnasium at Aurora high school, right? It's at the Aurora university's public safety building Rory university that addresses fourteen o eight south lawn place in Aurora. And here is the mayor of Aurora on his thoughts. Shame the mass shooting such as this have become commonplace in our country. It's a shame that cold and heartless offender would be so selfish to think he has the right to take an innocent life. But we as society cannot allow those these horrific acts to become commonplace. We as a society cannot allow the selfless and heartless acts of this. Terrible tragedy to be relegated to spots on the ten o'clock news. Tax on point. You think about this to you think of? But here's a guy that clearly had trouble. They knew about the trouble that he had and someone knew about the trouble. He has family knew about the trouble yet. And somehow I had access to a gun with sullen about being fired from his job. Pretty pretty. In these situations. It's always the woulda coulda shoulda. And this appears to be just another one of those more coming your way, obviously at nine o'clock tonight WGN will take you back to the scene of the press conference. So that we'll get everybody updated on and what is going on there. Before all this happened today. We were playing to have tribute today to the drifters of all folks, the the great do what band of the nineteen fifties. That had a huge Chicago connection. Antonis Pavone who is still one of the keepers of the flame of that style of music is was in the studio with us is still actually in the studio with us. And he and some of his some of his fellow artists are going to be doing a tribute to Jerry who is the the drifter of drifters, and we're gonna we're gonna play that we they recorded one of the size here. We're supposed to do all this live. But because of today's today's events we chose to record him we'll play them next week. But we do wanna play one special one for you before we go and just change in late in the mood. And remember that there is also light in this world where there is darkness. So before we do that. Let's check in. Well, Kim, obviously, we know is coming up at the savvy. Our obviously Andrea will bring you more on everything that took place in Aurora today. And we'll bring you the latest and don't forget, we'll even have another update at nine o'clock tonight from police gender seven well a bit of good news metro is offering free rides all weekend as thank you for bearing with the organization through all of the polar vortex and the subzero temperatures. So if you plan to go to the auto show,
