"We must move past. Inverse 6, he says, last sovereign, lord, I do not know how. To speak. I am too young. He did all three of the things in one sentence. I don't know how? I don't have the experience, and I'm not like these people who have wisdom and can speak. And that's what's been going through your mind all of last year that kept you stuck. So his answer was in his excuse. If he had stopped talking, verse 6, alas sovereign, Lauren, that word means he's in charge. Not you. That word, that word means he knows what's in you, you don't. That word means that his assignment is always accompanied by his enablement. Sovereign lord. His plan his purpose. Sovereign lord. And then the lord told Jeremiah. For 7, don't say I'm too young. You must go to everyone I send you and say whatever I command you for safe. Do not be afraid of them, this is the word of the lord receive it. For I am with you. That's what you need to know at the beginning of this year. The truest thing about you is that God is with you. I am with you. And look at this. After he gave him the promise he gave him the provision. This is so beautiful. Thank you, Holy Spirit for showing me this. I am with you. I will rescue you, declares the lord versus 9, then the lord reached out his hand and touched my mouth and said, I have put my words in your mouth. Now speak it. Now to create now do it. Now go for it. Now beginnings. And God is going to give it to you as you go. He's going to show you how to do this. I know you don't know how. I know you don't have it. There's elevation. God is so good. Who am I to deny what he can do? Sometimes I get to thinking, well, maybe we've gone as far as we can go as a ministry. No, the devil is a liar. The restriction. We didn't even have multi site church when we started. We didn't have fam. This is the greatest day of our church that we've ever been in. Who am I? To deny, put the lord to him. So two things your campus pastors are going to come in just a moment. And they're going to instruct you to give is a special time of giving. We also want to pray over your words so you'll have the opportunity to write down your word and not only will our staff be praying that over you, but you will be believing for it. Who am I? To deny what the lord can do. He's able. If there's one thing I know, he's able. I don't always know how. I don't always know when. But I know. That he's able. Thank you for joining us. "There was like, there was one event that they were both taking part in and Biden standing up there in the French president Macron is standing up there and they started shaking hands and the handshake went on for 42 seconds. I thought to myself, that is the longer handshake that I've ever done in my life, I think. I think Josh has beat that. What was my record with the body cam? You know, I'd have to find the foot that really nice guy. You tried this before with body cams on. Police body cams on and we try to go up to strangers and see how long we can shake their hands for. I'll tell you a 42 seconds is a good showing. This is back when we were pretty good. We just did bits for ourselves if nobody ever watched. Never got released. It wasn't like something we put on YouTube or anything. We should intentions. Good times. Yeah, we just did it for us. A 42 second long handshake. And then I'm looking up there, you got old man Biden, and Macron's a little younger, but his wife was with him. The First Lady of France, and I was like, oh my God, I forgot about this story. Oh yeah. Do you know the story of the president of France and his wife? His wife is much older than him. Can you look this up? Look at this up because of the Wikipedia entry will probably have a little more details. But as I recall, his wife was like a teacher or something and first met him when he was only a teenager and so the people who were saying like his wife groomed him and he ended up marrying her. Well, she's 69. She's 69. He's housed. He is 44. Okay, so she's 25 year. Yeah, she's 25 years old. Kind of instant 69 math. No matter what number you give him. He knows how far from 69. That's his only math skill. Superpower. Only that. So what does it say? Does it say anything about when they met? Because the story that I had heard was like, the president of France when he was just a teenager, she was a teacher, and she meets him and then they end up getting married after he gets older. It says Macron is married to Bridget, perfect. Brigitte. And his former la Providence high school teacher in Amiens. Okay, so she was his teacher. It's cool. They met during a theater workshop that she was giving when he was a 15 year old student and she was a 39 year old teacher, but they only became a couple once he was 18. I assure you. Thank God. Not a day went by, where they did anything illegal in the meantime. Which on Wikipedia, once he was 18, is a link. I was like, what's that a link to? Oh, age of majority. Oh, okay. His parents initially attempted to separate the couple by sending him away to Paris to finish his final year of schooling. They felt his youth made this relationship inappropriate. She straight up groomed him. Every screaming groomer, their political enemies, and then this actually looks like what happened. But they fell in love. They're still together after all of this time. I mean, sort of like that other teacher that, you know, absolutely broke the law with that one kid. In Florida. Yeah. But then when she got out of jail, they were together for a while. What was her name? Yeah, and Mary Kay letourneau. Maybe it's a French thing. It could be. I don't know what's going on over there. But that was interesting to see this week. Okay, I'm very worried if you've heard the show you've heard me ranting about this from time to time. Very, very worried about AI artificial intelligence about robots, about weaponizing robots. I think we're just kind of blindly lurching into this world and not thinking about the damage that could be done. And AI, in particular, stay away from the Boston dynamics dogs that people are putting guns on. Hell yeah. There's like a Chinese knockoff you can buy on Alibaba and people put weapons on those. Front surprise you don't have a Chinese Alibaba dog knockoff. I would only get it to destroy it live on the stream. And massacre it, so there would be a victory for the humans. It was like a waste. Human robot war. I'll let you play with it first. You only have to wait for two months. Don't you get all the excitement out of it. But this AI is wild wild wild. There is a company called OpenAI, and they've released this new chat bot that can answer, they say basically anything you throw at it. And it doesn't just come up with simple stuff. Like, yes, no, or like something from a Google result. It comes up with complex answers. So what's a question we could ask this AI robot right now? And I'll show you how it works. You want me to give you an example first? What is 44? Here's what I'll ask the AI. How do I make an igloo, right? All right, that's pretty random. It's a very random question. Okay, seems like you've been thinking about that. Okay, and the AI is right now typing to me. And it says, number one, gather snow blow the pile up snow into blocks of equal size. And it's telling me it's up to number 7 so far. Or yeah, now it's giving me a 7 point list on how to make an igloo with every single level of this that you could possibly have needed in this situation here. And so let's see if we get more personal. I like the last step. Decorate. Put a personal tip. Ever going to fight Joshua Fowler. All right, let's see, if it made that might be too weird for it to even understand. Let's ask. Doesn't know what a sea lane is. At this time, there are no plans for sea lane to fight Josh. Genius. How did it know? I like how it's at this time. What about me fighting him? All right, let's see. Let me refresh this. It's very, very smart. It's called OpenAI, but you got to go to beta dot OpenAI dot com. Slash playground. That's where I am right now. And the playground thing is where you can ask any of these questions. Will Joshua is Joshua to go because he's not allowed by a playground. Don't put that out there. Fight ceiling. This year, all right? Well, we're going to get the same answer here. At this time, there are no plans. It is not known whether Joshua Fowler will fight sealand this year. So it's possible. A little looser on that one. If you have any questions for the AI about the show about anything, send your question in via dispatch right now and will ask the AI and play it back for you on the show. It's very easy for you to do, send us a dispatch to the news junkie app or over at the news junkie dot com right now

"Somebody in another part of the world that's watching on a screen. And they knew if they found out they would be killed for their faith, but they said, I love Jesus too much. And even if those are the circumstances, I must follow him. Who do they say? And who do you say? And then the next level, because, oh, AW toaster says this. He says, what comes into your mind when you think about God is the most important thing about you? What comes into your mind when you think about God is the most important thing about you. So I want you listening at that level of who do they say he is and then who do you say? But I also want you listening at the level of you. Who do they say that you are? And then Jesus, who do you say that I am? And I need you listening at both of those levels. And some of you are like, oh, I already got the answer, the gold star, I know who Jesus is. You know, he's the word. He's the flash. He's all this. Yeah, you've been coming to church for 20 years and you get the gold star and you get the sticker. And you talk about Jesus for 90 minutes on Sunday, but you live like hell Monday through Saturday. 'cause the answer is not with your language. It's with your lifestyle. The answer to these things are not ultimately described in what you say because at the end of this inverse 20 Jesus and don't tell anybody he's the messiah. Why would he make that outlandish claim? Because he says it's not about what you say. Words are cheap. And I'm tired of you throwing out cheap race. And once you counting the cost of really what it means to follow Jesus. Because as these disciples move forward from this moment, it will cost them everything. But they will come to these places of who do they say. And who would do you say? And in this text, Peter is the central character. He's the guy that speaks up. Of course he does. That's Peter. He's also called Simon. For those of you that are new to church, he's got two names. Simon is the birth name he was given. It means shifty. It means fluid. It almost paints a picture of water. But now when he encounters Christ, he's given a new name. Peter, petros, rock. You want to talk about extremes? Water and a rock. One other theologian says the name Simon would be translated as flat nosed. Picture a guy who's constantly running into a wall. Like, that's Peter. He is extreme. This dude is all over the place. When Jesus says, hey, disciples, I need to wash your feet. He's like wash all of me lord. He's the guy who's banging on the door. He's the guy who's cutting ears off. He is so extreme, and I relate to beat her. 'cause I am so extreme. My wife and I've been a part of the church since we started with one of the original 8 families. And I remember one and a half years into the ministry, we had two locations at that point. And we really wanted to be at another high school that was in the area. But when we started the church, the principle there didn't like churches. But we're sitting in a staff meeting, and now we hear, oh, there's a new principle. I'm like, all right, I got my new assignment. I'm gonna go get us into that school. So I drive over to the school and I drive up. There's only a couple cars there because it's a vacation day. Dang it, but I walk up to the front door. I'm like, it's locked. I go to the next doors. Go to the next stores. They start walking around the side of the school, start pushing on Windows. I go to the back of the school, and I see this long horizontal window above a dumpster. So I climb up on top of the dumpster and I push the window and it opens up, and I shimmy my way into this long, narrow window above a dumpster, and I make my way up to the front office. And I walk in. And the woman goes, you're Larry drawing from elevation. Like, how did you know him? You've been watching me on close camera. I'm expecting like the cops to bust in any moment. And she goes, my husband and I, we've been coming and my kids have been coming for about 8 weeks now to your Providence location. She said, we ended up there because we told our kids about two months ago that we were going to get divorced. Her husband and I, and the kids just begged to know mom. We can't do this. How about we go to church? There's a church meeting at the high school we go to at Providence high school. How about we go check them out? And through tears, she starts to tell me how both of their daughters gave their life to Jesus and they were committed to making the marriage work and they were staying in it. My goodness. What I'm telling some of you is you are way too passive about the promises of God. There is a blessing God.

"The time. When Olivia was 9 months old, her mother passed away. Abraham decided to relocate the family to Providence Rhode Island. Then in 1871, he remarried, and decided to separate the family. He sent Olivia to be raised by her maternal aunt, Maria Draper. Maria was raised in the montauk culture. She passed her knowledge in that component of her upbringing to Olivia, inspiring in Olivia, loyalty and passion for her Native American heritage. At Providence high school, Olivia studied nursing and explored drama and poetry. Shortly after graduation, she married her first husband, Frank bush. Livia was 20 years old at the time, and later described the marriage as most unfortunate. The couple had two daughters, Rosamund, and Marie, before divorcing in 1895. Olivia then became the sole caretaker and financial provider for her daughters and her aging aunt. She was motivated by her family's reliance on her. One of her main sources of income was her poetry. Olivia had refined her work over the years, and in 1899, released her first book called original poems. It covered a range of topics primarily focusing on fate determination and the black experience. The book received high praise specifically from famous African American poet Paul Lawrence Dunbar. In 1900,.

"All right and i believe we are back and i'm gonna go ahead and say that that was not the greatest really does understand. He was like twelve Honestly what it is that is not the greatest quality. I think we're losing a lot and it was literally like a the accordion rain permanent. So I know that's the thing i was talking about. The songs plans like i know comes later so now this is just the beginning right. Florida is that was like my first introduction to jim. Croce a might have been a little bit skeptical. I can understand began inauspicious. Start you know. Gotta start somewhere but look at us for two hundred episodes into our our. We've almost got Living in los Rail so one of the earliest recordings it was actually later released on his facets album. Which is an album. Almost nobody knows. I bet you didn't hear of it. Yeah exactly and there's a reason why which when we get to that album. We'll we'll find out so on the surface of it. It seems like the coaching household is very warm inviting fun. There is going to be dark. Side hey to interrupt you but we do need to take a short sponsor break and we will be right back and we are back cool. Let's get back to the life of jim croce. Please tell me. They're not circling so guys. We're gonna push through this but currently right now because we live in los angeles and people are idiots occasionally. We have a helicopter that will have to circle our apartment complex or something like near us. Because we're close to a freeway and stuff like that so we're gonna push ahead but occasionally you guys might hear helicopters and we apologize for that but we've We're going to move on and and hope that they catch the guy Assume that it's that's what that is got so annoying which you gotta chop route charter window. I can't okay so when we talked earlier about jim's household there were very clear expectations for jim and what he was supposed to do. Jim croce senior was. He ran kind of tight ship. But despite all the fun and the food and everything else jim croce. Junior was the eldest son of eldest son so he was expected to get a job. Take care of his family and get married to italian catholic girl and on that quest to find these sparkling diamond which would save his village right. Exactly it's like got level of that. That's what he did so despite the amount of music in the house. Jim was expected to basically follow that path and uphold the family name and while they allowed him to play music. They would say things to him. This is a direct quote from jim's father. Music is for gypsies and that a life of music was sinful and full of drunks and lowlights. So he's not he's not completely is not wrong. Look at my co hosts. He's not he's not completely wrong music for gypsies. The ones that will show you to keep playing the in that. Yeah and actually this steers clear of the stereotype that jim senior wanted to avoid in fact. They actually haven't proven. But i did find some articles about it. Allegedly jim seniors name was just sepe and he changed to jim which is actually not uncommon at that time so jim. Junior was very inquisitive child. He was insightful and he had a few characters like his father. Jim hated confrontation. He would walk five blocks around the problem and this would actually lead to kind of awkward stalemates with his dad where jim senior would actually look them in the face and say you know boy. You shouldn't do this. You shouldn't do that. He'd actually slapped him. And you call him a bum and then both men were kinda backed down. Jim would go do what he was going to do anyway. So it was kind of an awkward household. While jim didn't like participating in confrontations he loved observing and throughout his life. Jim would be constantly fascinated with different world views and he would actually later have functions where he would intentionally invite people that were in opposition to basically watch the show and see what how basically he was. The logan paul very graduated but it but yes this is exceeded again. Either in the words of his wife ingrid. She said jim's idea of a good time would be to invite over a priest and a member of the kkk. so another gym character floated. Jim had was that he didn't process or express emotion very well. Now this may have largely been due to the way. He was brought up again traditional household. You know. a man doesn't show emotion your job mary. A good catholic girl. Just shut up and oftentimes when things would get heated. Were a situation would come up that he was awkward. He would just kind of shut down. And oftentimes you just gotta go along with it being like okay whatever. Whatever let's just do what we need to do and he often when asked the right questions which is going to come back to bite him and the only way he could really express his thoughts and feelings worth through the music that he played which is obviously going to be prevalent throughout his entire career. His path through high school was largely uneventful. He did play music. He actually attended upper darby high school near philadelphia and went to a prep school for one year. The famous malvern prep located in malvern pennsylvania. And from that point. Jim had the unique honor of becoming the first and only member of his family. At that time to college he was accepted. Good to villanova wildcats. All right nova so. This was thrilling. Good school gyms going to college. What's he gonna study. German and psychology and needless to say that sounds like a career pathway and jim senior viewed this as quote useless end quote and the only way he would allow his son to continue to go to school was if he got a quote respectable job now. This was an inconvenience for jim. However would ingrid's gonna go through as far worse at the age of fifteen ingrid will lose her mother to brisket at that point. Remember her parents are split so she and her sister. Phyllis actually move in with her father sydney again parents had been split and he lived in south darby where he operated psychiatric practice out of home. The girls were then forced to bounce around to different schools which meant ingrid was constantly moving around. She really had to abandon athletics entirely against she was on the path to become a cheerleader. And that got shelved. Finally she graduated from nether providence. High school which is in wallingford pennsylvania. Now all of this was going on. Ingrid did continue to play music. She sang in several local groups and she didn't need to play the piano and she also taught herself now jumping back to japan. He was forced to live a double life because his parents did not pursue. Do not endorse him. Pursuing music professionally. But he would meet friends at school. That would be with him for his entire life. Jim actually got more into music at villanova. Despite his father telling him it was for gypsies. He actually auditioned for several talent shows. He became one of the villanova singers and a founding member of the group known as the coventry lads which is actually an all-male capella group. Still going at villanova today. Oh wow there's not a fun. Thanks off qualifies as a bump back. The other name for the group was the villanova spires and actually they performed later at a. They did an event when ingrid released her book. It was an afternoon with ingrid croce on the spires formed. I thought that was kinda cool and also play at local fraternity parties. Coffee houses really anywhere where he could bring his qatar and just have a time. During this time he would meet several friends again longtime friends. These would be job. Saviola viola who they called. Sal tommy cargo and timothy hauser. He actually spent time in college and as he went through his entire college career. With a certain musician at villanova this young man would go to.

"Focus is just get me to the next day. Give me to the next day giving to the next day and a lot of us. I mean, all of us have experienced that on some level. Throughout 2020 and here in early 2021, But for those guys, the focus is all right. You know, they have a goal one each week. Get me to Friday night or in college. Get me to Saturday afternoon on the NFL. Get me to Sunday. And you're just focused on get me there and then all the sudden When all those get me there's we're done. And you, you don't realize. The energy that you've expended because you were in the middle of it. And then all the sudden you wake up one day and you're like I am wrecked. And I think that that's the part of all this that we're not going to even understand for a while, which is You know this this the sacrifices made. By everyone. We talked about the very top of the show. It's not just the 19 and 20 year old players who have foregone a social life, and that includes, you know, seeing their families. So why we saw something the team's bailing on Bolin bites. Because they were just like us won't go home and see my mom. Yeah, inside. Just think that, but they'll all tell you it was worth it. No, that that's the other part two is that they'll all tell you that it was worth it, even if they had a terrible season. You know, wins and losses wise. Um, you know, it was worth it. So in my backyard in Charlotte, I am right behind a public high school. And then right behind me, is a private high school. And here in North Carolina. The private schools played high school football this fall, and the public schools are all going to play in the spring. And it was the weirdest thing because usually on a Friday night, the P A system for Providence High School, My daughter's high school. It sounds like it sounds like I'm in their football stadium. Like the P A system so loud it on Friday nights, it was quiet. Coming from the front of the house. But for the first time ever Through the woods. Pocket here. Charlotte, Christian and our buddy Steve Burns, who lost over years ago has some rice and I could hear rice and burns name being called on the P A system through the trees. And the kids from the public High school were heartbroken because they weren't playing, but they're going to play in the spring, and that's the sacrifice that they made. And so it's just it's some Everybody's had to figure out some adjustment. You're right, man. It just the You just got to get to the next game, but you just don't realize how exhausted you are until it's over with. It's like you know, I was supposed to have had before my first Covert 19 positive, which was a false way back in early October. I before I eventually did get it. I was supposed to have had the Virginia Tech North Carolina game, Chapel Hill. And Justin Point Day, Virginia Tech's coach was discussing what it was like managing the year. And they had brought in. I don't know whether it was this year last year. But they have brought in a navy seal to address the team. And after the CEO addressed the team. He Went over to the side and Justin walked over and he just was wearing this dude out, man. I wanna know about the training. How do you guys prepare? What's the training? Like? What do you do? Baba Block. And You know, Justin was very eager to learn and the seal kind of turned Gonna turn to Justin and said, Just get the breakfast. The entire mantra is just get the breakfast. And then once you're in Brecht wants your breakfast. Let's just get the lunch right and that that's so perfectly encapsulate the 2020. Football.
