Andy Said Knock You Out
"The well under Kiep Michael Buffer because Saturday is faint. Thank NATO yeah it's the highly anticipated rematch. One of the biggest upsets in boxing history. History and we made that fight so remarkable was the difference between the two guys in the ring the on one side. You have the Champ Anthony Joshua who is six foot six and absolutely sculpted and he looked unbeatable and then you had Andy Ruiz junior who looked a full head shorter than Joshua Shwe and with what appeared to be a beer belly but through a one on Saturday these two square off again in in Saudi Arabia. The Athletics Carpenter is there and he joins us to break down the match up and to explain what's at stake for these two pretty lovable fighters from wondering athletic. I'm Davidson and I'm under SCELZO. It's Friday December sixth and this is the lead it felt like like something great. There is something of the emotion and the past because it was not good. All right so first things first. How's your hotel in Saudi Arabia? I had to say one of the things that really struck committee about Saudi Arabia. And I'm in the capital. which is Riyadh is having radical breakfast buffets here? I had breakfast today it was gigantic. Spread anything you can think of pastries cupcakes. All kinds of different cereals. All kinds of milk's eggs SAM. I I mean it's just like it. This is a staple of Saudi Arabia. Well don't get too used to a man and what's the what's the vibe on the ground. There like there is quite a bit of buzz was about the fight. Yeah people are really excited about the fight. They've really been trying to bring some big events here to Riyadh and they had like little Wayne here last week. Ushers here this week before the fight I think e cons here the Saudi Arabian royalty is going to be at the fight. People super excited as a real young demographic here that's into boxing all right so this is going to be one of the more interesting heavyweight bouts at least then I can remember and largely. That's because of the contrast between the two guys who are fighting It's like a classic David Versus Goliath matchup. But I guess with a kind of Pudgy David But first let's talk about Anthony. Joshua Woah Woah is the total package. I mean almost a cartoon character. This is how you draw the heavyweight champion. If you're dreaming these twenty nine years old six foot six chiseled and he just was a big time star and UK. I've been in London. I fight at Wembley against Alexander per second last year. And you walk around the city billboards of him everywhere. He's a big time star. Just one of the biggest boxing period. And I have to say The Dude is pretty smooth. It didn't feel like the man said it felt like I need to add something so I still felt the same person I was hence the no complaints. I wasn't crying over spilt milk by like I needed to add more to the cup. The blessing is is Agua. Second chance to do and here we are and highly marketable. You've got these. Endorsement deals with under armour Jaguar. Jaguar Land Rover Beats Hugo boss bone strength yet that goes from the hard knocks of life throws us. We Nigerians you know what about those. Stay down you welcome fight. The speed Josh was A. He's a great looking guy. It's it's hard to find a better physique than him. Incredibly friendly to everybody encounters and just an easy guide a like. He's actually kind of late to the game as a boxer though he didn't start fighting until he was about eighteen late to the game in bud and Olympic gold medalist. Jeff and. What's really striking is Anthony? Joshua is probably the biggest this attraction and boxing from a gay perspective. This guy has fought at Principality Stadium in Cardiff Wales before nine hundred thousand a couple of Times Wembley Stadium a couple of times now. He's fighting here in the Middle East as a big attraction. And when did he really come onto people's radar Li like when did when was established as like a truly great heavyweight. He really truly breakthrough in my opinion until he fought Wladimir Klitschko in April. Two thousand. Seventeen gentlemen gone up off the canvas and knocked audrey puts go in just an incredible firefight and a fight. There really proved just just how great he was and then in the other corner you have Andy Ruiz junior who has a very different kind of background. Don't and your res has been fighting since he's six years old. I was six years old. I I went into a gym and my first amateur fight over seven years olds. My Dad said medical findings. San Diego House is big heavy heavy kid. Nobody was in my weight at that age to fight twelve year old thirteen year old when I was seven seven years old and what he was beating them from California which is a small city close to the border of Mexico. Oh he's of Mexican descent. His father's been in boxing longtime Ann's he's a very very humble. Beginnings wasn't any Olympics but what was a highly touted prospect for a long time with Bob. Arum I read somewhere that he is a sort of a like a street brawler as a kid and he's sort of been fighting ever since spike I saw the ring to come straightforward applies a ton of pressure. Big puncher. It wasn't it really quick. Hands the bill really belies his physique. You wouldn't expect it but he's quite an athlete in there and of course it's hard to talk about Andy Ruiz without talking about his physique. Because it's just not what you're used to seeing in a in a heavyweight champ poorly the kind of guy that would wear a t shirt in the pool and I wouldn't call them fat necessarily but you know there's no muscle definition whatsoever ever. I think what makes them amusing. And what really makes them likeable is that it doesn't seem to bother Andy Ruiz at all when he when he people make fun of his physique he seems to take it all in stride. He also come across. It's just a really likable guy. I mean he's got five kids and he posted this video on instagram. Recently where he went to Walmart and just bought a ton of diapers for random families. There goes Nice Marriage Mart. Parents bless a few families. You know when I when I didn't have no money for diapers. Why fees and I got five kids you know doing so I was trying to look at of all the lines? I try to look for the people that had two kids and especially diapers and wipes. Because that's something that was hard you know there's close. He's a really nice guy. Easy to talk to seems seems still to be a little in kind of wonderment. Remain of all the attention he receives but he's also incredibly confident. I was telling him today. That one of the most confident fighters I've come across in. I've put a a lot of people. Describe him as sort of unflappable so the first time that these two guys met back in June it was actually sort of by accident for a long time. We've been waiting for or Anthony. Josh would make his debut and it was supposed to be against Terrell big baby Miller a three hundred pounds heavyweight. Just a loud brash. Trash talking fighter who had insulted. Josh was mother literally and promise to bring the fight to him. He tested positive for. I don't know how that's possible. Three we different banned substances and there was a scramble to find a replacement on late notice an answer and Andy Ruiz Junior. It's literally from rocky one row. NAROK he he gets the call on notice to fight Apollo creed you believe that America is a land of opportunity follow creed he's GonNa prove it to the whole world by giving an unknown a shot at the title unknown. Is You pick you rocky. Usually you know about a fight at least two months in advance but usually three months. You have a full eight week training camp. This was I think four or five weeks at most and and so given the discrepancy between these two guys. What was the expectation going into that? Fight the expectation going in was that Andrews while solid fighter was no mastery Francini. Joshua Joshua will just walk through him. Knock him out and he was actually fifteen. Two one favourite in Vegas It's a big deal for Brits Speaker debut over here they always say you don't you don't make a US doing what they're expecting. Great fighter any kind of you know serious matchup. We were there to see Anthony Joshua more for that story. See the punches. At least the japs through two rounds nine trying to bite started out pretty slow for the first couple around India reasons doing rather well and then in round three Anthony. Joshua rule ended just a monster. Knock Andy Reid down flat on his back. The first knockout of a research career he kind of sat on the campus for a few seconds and it was pretty patient. Collected is collected himself. beat the referee's count and after that Joshua who's one of the best finishers in the sport went to close the show walked in on him and read rees started exchanging with Joshua. It's not some gallon twice in round three but he gets around seven and res Battering Joshua the Joshua goes down again standing up the referees talking to him it and then finally the refugees. Wade's it all. And Joshua doesn't protest and what was the reaction in the arena. They all this is sold out of Madison Square Garden or twenty thousand plus there at least ten thousand of those from what we've Albans. uh-huh holds travels from England for the fight. People were singing dancing before the fight and it was as you could hear a pin drop. People were just silent in everyone was stunned and res. It's a it's such a great moment used jumping up and down like a little boy in the Mexican the Mexican rocky making people need then. It was like the greatest day of his life. He's up and down with his arms stretched up into the air and his belly flopping around and you spoke with India reason to build up to Saturday's fight fight. What did he tell you about how this fight has impacted him? He told me that it's changes life. And how surreal. It is that he is now the heavyweight champion champion figure fighting in the Middle East. It's crazy like I said. I never thought that I would be here especially in Saudi Arabia. Hopefully not my first my last five years so pretty sure. We'll be back here. And he was telling me how embarrassed he was to be living in. You know with the little means make. It wasn't making. It wasn't making a ton of money before at that time I lost my house. I was living with my mom and her little room with my with my kids. My girlfriend there so I thought I thought embarrassing fell so so lost inciting also but praying and praying and waiting for the opportunity to come and what ended up coming in my life and this is the guy that wasn't on radar anybody really all suddenly shot up and has over a million followers instagram. She's grabbed endorsements with snickers he bobowski clothing brands and a bunch of others and people have really taken a great liking to him. They call him the Mexican rocky. And you know this seems like a pretty big moment for Mexican boxing fans. I mean they now have Cannella and India wreath. I'm I'm not sure that any country loves boxing more than Mexico and definitely the biggest segment of boxing fans in the US are Hispanic so it will be used to have another. Victor of Andy. Ruiz canal is going to be ten minutes. Cannolis the biggest star in boxing and these should be galvanizing for the fan base. When you're hiring? And so Mike when we think of professional boxing you know most people don't typically think of Saudi Arabia. How did the fight end up there? There was a big bidding we'll bidding match for this fight. It was. It was between Principality Stadium in Cardiff Wales. which is a Dome Stadium? The around ninety thousand and before that there was talk of poisoning the Madison Square Garden. But at the last moment. Eddie hearn promoter. Josh was promoter received eight another twitter. The this was from Prince Khalid in Saudi Arabia. Saying that he he really wants to bring the fight here and Eddie admitted that is actually rooted. I kind of dismissed it. There's been so much talk over the years of a FICO means you buy or other places in the Middle East and it's always has been out there to kind of dangling and Mike tells a little bit about this Unusual stadium that they've built. It's actually on the site of UNESCO heritage location. which is I think there's a little will be more than eight hundred in the world? They built this in around six weeks. It's crazy it's fifteen thousand seats. I was there today and it's beautiful. It looks like there was a great sight. Sight lines all over the place giant video screens on all four sides should be a great setup for the fight and the crazy thing is part of being UNESCO heritage site you. I can only use it for six months. So they're going to have to tear down afterward and has the build up. Felt different in any way compared to other heavyweight bouts that you've been around it lines up with a a lot of other big fights in boxing war. Of course there was the rumble in the jungle between George Foreman and Muhammad Ali was Zaire Africa. You had the Thrill Manila One of the greatest fights of not the greatest of all time that was Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier and of course Eddie Arabia's paying a ton of money to bring this fight here I've heard anywhere from forty nine to sixty million. So wow this means a lot mike. What do you think is at stake for each of these guys? Let's start with Andy Ruiz. What's at stake for him? Everything if if he loses you know people are GonNa say he was just it was a one hit wonder he was a fluke and he said that he really was really motivating him as he wants to shut up all the doubters I because he knows everyone's still doubting him but if he wins everyone's going to be become has become believer and I think he has a chance to be a real legitimate star. Two possibilities are analyst analyst him if he wins this fight and he gets cement himself as one of the biggest stars in the sport. And what about Anthony Joshua I mean again. This is a guy who was heralded by some as like the next Lennox Lewis in the next great heavyweight. He really needs to win. Because if you lose his people are going to just say that he was good as we thought he was. And where did you go from there. It's hard hard to go from selling out stadiums and making four million fifty million even sixty million with some people think he's making for this fight to me. He's still make a lot of money. He still be a big name but it wouldn't be the same again all right. Then Mike. What's your prediction? WHO's GonNa come out on top? I usually feel like I have a good grasp on. WHO's GonNa win even on imprompt plenty of times? Of course. This one's such a coin flip fight so many variables were fighting outdoors in the Middle East. But I'M GONNA go at Andy Res I just I think I don't think it was a fluke. I think he's GonNa prove that he is the real deal. Medi Has Anthony. Joshua was number and that an old axiom but styles make fights and I think his presser style l.. And it's ultra quick. Hands are the Elixir for Anthony. Joshua's power will mike. court total disrespect you have sacrificed a lot i get why i got budget welcome back ladies gentlemen welcome back to another spontaneous edition boxing voice radio i'm your host nesta gives joined alongside my co host my compadres partner in crime michael gross where the discus andy ruis julia end the rematch with anthony joshua and the fact that since june first there is still no venue there is still no date there's it's been a month a they've already announced an allegedly activated evaded the rematch a anthony joshua is posting clip cities back in training preparing you see him you know practicing he vacating or inclusiveness a getting away from that left hook newseum practicing with the taiwan is i g so why no day why no venue could be al hayman in in andy reed's putting together the package maybe showtime wants to get involved you know yes we all know zone wants this fight happened in the usa but they don't have the rights to the rematch remember aj bona fide by fi deal can at least eddie be thinking thinking well i didn't expect who is the do this the aj maybe it is time i start looking at all options seeing what's the biggest check coming in because can josh will do it in a rematch i know the rumors they want it in principality in cardiff a but there's also the rumor the zone in john skipper want it back at madison square garden so this is what will be chatting about if you're interested you know the number to call in one four to five five six nine fifty to forty one press one one song bushy opinion right here on deep voice of the people hotline let's get on out box dot com slash wave not man fan of what we stand for what believe some of the costs come back dot com yo yo yo yo yo what's up what's up everybody out timothy b universe back with another one in a man no date no venue we don't know yet but it seems like the rematch has been agreed upon much like the wilder and fury a fight a there was no date no venue for a little while there were out in a suspense eddie was only doing interviews in the better fight happy furry will pull out notice and all kinds of stuff so i don't really put much stock into it because it's only been a mutt thirty days notice any any being like a like a whole too much of north is still fresh so everybody's still kind of filling that after saxo no date and venue yet i mean oh see as a big deal maybe they're just playing their cars no santana hit the biggest money possible from one these venues and really try a make this like big as can be and it's it's at the end of the day is just not checkers no saying you know go and make something real quick nasa ray all your options but shit you just took it over tip off a man so at the end of day not in but at the start of the fucking day if i'm eddie i'm out there shopping this night were not not shopping it because you know there's people out there that they won't it but i'm not gonna listen to carter on this isn't a mother fucking wherever else a stadium they sit in back at madison square garden i'm trying to see what the pilots gonna be in china aj win or lose his biggest split possible so at the end of the day no date no you're not a big deal but what good on this so you don't think it's a big deal you don't think this is giving the people the fight fans the critics the writers an indication that there could be some reluctance see how do we know the the fight is if issue how do we know the fight will happen i mean we all know that there was a rematch clause for all intents and purposes the all the interview the fdr has done post fight has indicated that they want it rematch joshua before he left a venue tote andy reid in the rain i'll i'll be seeing you again soon in the post fight he reiterated the same thing but he want it met soaked in my opinion it's like the same thing while you're go we know we're gonna fight let them decide on the fucking venue in the in the in the day and get the best best money in the best a bang for the fans know that but for us i gotta go train i can't be worried about the data venue if they got any i trust my man's any you gotta let him do it if i'm andy and i trust my man let him do it so why are we out here saying that it should be like a fucking dating venue you at the thirty days you you tell me that i don't know all i know is i successfully uploaded my money into the draft kings were drawing down we're going do two shows we won't do one show the put you warn and then tomorrow we have the comeback because loni open is going down i i mean congo i don't i don't buy into kind of fight on a tour i think they say friday all my shit this i mean not clicking see if a say friday twelve but i would say friday fitting tomorrow today traffic is now wait you sure i mean great book put money down condor i'm just saying say friday right here here we fury one is that versus evan peters they got that on a friday to that's on the on the car the car yeah they got that listed as friday like i mean you could be right that could be next friday and then joe joyce's july thirteenth versus buying jennings i mean you're shutout the draftkings i wish they were giving me some kickback because then they got they got going on they they got all the best shut out the loni men's made it to the fucking back in line with right now he's a fucking yo listen man dollop everywhere i go on all day if mother fucking lonnie tomorrow on the fix and that's about it according i mean that's all need is to make some money be real only really well as long as they open up the prop bets you're an old wildly back the dude they'd be rushing worn you're you're you're you're the law do yeah you're you're he back but next to you this is not just the get back on satellite to you this is not and we just like it's only a month you know some icing and they talk about in november december we still in july we we just start july six months away so let's let them know but when it's obvious that they train in both guys should be training or not i wouldn't say training but no sense stand fifteen loose guys you don't do a six my training camp fuck out at you wanna go suck up the skills nothing like certain weeks focus on certain things but don't just go in and do it for six months barn in in running a not 'cause you case you wanna do they gradually gradually gradually bill and then when you get to november december for both guys there'd be at their peak hey man by south detail i mean i hear you man you fuck with fan duel i used to they don't put enough fight solomon if you would you would have known that by now so i don't know when the last time you made a bet 'cause really ain't got shit they probably only got thurman right now versus backout a and they like that but m i dunno i like to see this announced just to capitalize off the momentum right like if you do zone if you look at their social media there you to channel like that upset did good things for them dating joshua to a loss i told you that shit i'll tell you this property the the biggest thing that could have happened for the zone in josh maybe on the hand got bigger in the space now yeah but maybe on a play back in front of the best in joshua but not dissolve because remember dissolve gay pfeiffer free the next day or two ball couple of hours later when you get one free agents should they got a as a writer wherever i haven't gone saying that she has money is money is money but it come on listen to this and they are you're practicing their shit on some icing their ship my daughters were watching a fucking a video some kids don't it's funnier some crazy shit like that in a fucking had a fucking up subscribe to my channel but not like not like joined the fucking membership or whatever yeah yeah memberships memberships and then then you could buy like we got that after you get two hundred thousand you get memberships and people go by like stick packs and things like okay i really don't promote i don't even know about activated but i'm 'cause i don't really know what do no i don't really know like how it looks 'cause obviously my channel channel so i can't see the membership button but on the back end it sells you once you get two hundred dollars you activate memberships gotcha gotcha people sign up for like five dollars a month or something like that and they they're able to get like special stickers in you know in mode jeez and stuff to using the chat and things like that you to try and take are more fucking her parents were cr yeah no right i mean i need to get a little bit more behind the scenes with it but who's doing good we got bayside boxing says the zona spelling selling it won't be long much longer still under a hundred thousand subs i don't know if he means that own you to remember that they they they said they got to like a million subs on the app so that's all they care about an i highly doubt the zone is felt like you know i say mike at every posted on our boxing voice instagram falani men just gonna be spy and sebastian for a mellow owned his own denmark 'em you know like they everywhere halo felber hangar if they successfully what every other country they're not coming to america nfl like already got the game plan and they just tweak and i'm telling you right now if you're offering his own gay boxing a million dollars let one of these fucking nb ea nfl rights come up oh they're gonna put they didn't trust trust and believe that they gonna put they beat in they already got major league baseball so they put they beat in the zone going nowhere man i don't believe i think the zone is gonna be you're showtime e n e s p a r e is bringing if the giant in those in those three are going to get up for a long time yeah man we got pound for pound supporter andre documents saying eddie no manchester please 'em ewing traveling you said you ain't this ain't the fight you only transfer wilder the versus somebody you're in trouble if like i feel like i wanna be there now at breweries diddy on thinkable i like resident they go to the uk they come back to new york known even mean it'd be there but maybe the uk maybe maybe wanna be in the uk and fucking november or december you're right it is co leader should maybe they don't get air conditioning i got the plug man batman boxing mma fucking manchester champ plucky muggy plug plug you know what i'm saying we'd be out there for wearing off ildiko we gonna be so no bra plug in plug man got married to a batman by some ain't got that stone do indeed got but nobody any say in the fight takes place no matter if you see my thumb now you know it's a play is a cartoon not a on andy saying the rematch needs a damn runtime now andy saying the rematch needs a you know twenty fifty thousand or whatnot fifty million skews me an dumb offer the best out of famer take a look at the look at it though he's signing signing in a snickers why you're looking at it republic so yeah man so i don't really think he got much say man but it's fun to watch him talk that shit because see if it was controversial we'd be telling selling him to shut up buddy actually beat this man up so it's like yo talk shit andy do your thing has been found a picture just like that stuff kerr show affirmative a snickers but a snickers sat out the loan luna to boxing yeah our they really ended got too much faith in what if i go i think zone is the one that's gonna really really dictate where this goes guys i again i don't i don't necessarily think it's his own domain thanks oprah gotta fight by fight so he could do it don't any don't joshua which is the fight we talking about over at cnn what you think it is gonna do what's in the best interest for him or josh but eddie gonna do is in the best interest of that bank account in as he has in common knocking talking about we wanna we wanna add this fight or showtime said yeah we wanna is fight it is eddie's job bob listener the offers end right i'm done percent the aj in probably not only that probably in the verbiage of his contract with his own tell dissolve so they get last right match a vet referral right but last by understates yeah but you had a bigger right interstates but mike over five o'clock thursday that reason who does that sue now's the time to find you're color you're paid everything to get started dream red white sleep sleep but listen i said for me a final thoughts are i do hope that there's a player there's nothing more than what i want the bobby say yo we didn't we want that we we we get a senate hearing into their fight with the rematch at the all this hoopla at the oldest fucking publish the owner and you do not pay per view from the mexican american just merely a mac you're gonna marry dirty six mexican thirty six million mexican americans the body shit so they could get by andy notes on got that off of for your ass fox who fought from in coming coming coming out with their business man which about the witnesses big business can they see an eddie would be dumb not just sit down and listen you're listening it's not listening who who wants to give me what to put this fight on me from code below the biggest move write a book called bloody you acting like any ain't do this shit he just did it the showtime so so no no no because the dummies needs to hear it's showtime gave him five five six five aj and then when he went to disown instead of making the big fight with wild so he could do that right now showtime not giving him two hundred and fifty million like hey one twentyfive wants to work in their in their eyes he wasn't worth it then but like you said his profile race with that ass whooping you've never dirt bears opt out for his own hey guess what guess what now they invested remember this all let's not forget we talk about we talk about now showtime is invested they got indie movies which is our human fighter info and they're looking at it like gonna fuck fuck they're looking at it like this if we did there's a possibility the allen heyman truly knows he'll have all the bills he'll have an end if you're out heyman you're sitting down with espinosa les moonves the head of cbs and you're saying listen guys i know andy what's gonna perform like that but you seem what he did imagine ten weeks hell imagine the six months or less back our investment let's put this on pay purview it's widely at this point definitely definitely you know not even listening way with him being mexican it's gone says you know the only thing i say is a cold beer like coal good business move got the zone is giving the billion dollar whatever instead hungering twenty five million a year so they're gonna opt out after two years but they're still give them and if you're heading back and take aj so fox and do a four here's pete in my view they might if you're eddie you do this anyway because guess what the song came i telling everybody they gave you a billion dollars and then the sooners shit the fanny start again asking giving asking money they gave some money the fucking canelo aj you like one of the first one i saw you give me three hundred sixty five million you know what sit on this one i'm gonna go get my three under the sixty five on paper view cool wake up wake up if they're not only do we just cannot that'll do where's this triple g so he got his aj blind guy you're free to use plus you got days he got a non cigarette do six fights plus days for his fight serves crazy her 'cause you gotta know how to negotiate and that's what you gotta do any got a life he got allied yo yo ma fucking australia tv call me man m dues higgins said they ready to put this item that you gotta you gotta labra you got you gotta shake the tree or that fruit won't fall and there might shake that trio that fruit won't fall i'm telling you right now you gotta say brisbane call me nonstop they wanna host this fight they said they put jeff on the undercard it's huge who versus the fight on undercard hung undercard pursued it back we push it back aj versus breweries in britain the hey let's go let's open up these phone lines man you know the last thing where i can really disagree with you said kosta then they fired up but fight we see them do do showtime if i i this is my guy i'm gonna get the best most money for him in jail and listen we don't know how many years he's where the zone right we don't know we don't know what we do know is there any ghosh's right but what's the say he can't cut a new deal with e s p a g s e s p n say yo yo we wanna run that reese fbi he like yo yo i many days man 'cause you know once i shake this tree design ain't gonna be happy so what happened to me in my box is i think the zone is going to be the one that ops out only him because he's under contract so if he's under contract with that one billion dollars with a stable and aj's on his own cyber pap then you gotta under the current director to absolve say now man we don't want to know more and then and then the knicks network who signs a eddie hearn better put in the contract we won't aj brown doesn't ain't got nothing to do with eddie hearn aj sitting down with bob in e s p n o s an end saying look i got this match room do going known so technically i can't get another broadcast 'cause i'm fucking with the song but that doesn't mean you can't saw aj and give aj boxing promotions ten fights on espionage in men aj a word that are aj already told us verbal e all camera really in all that he prefers editor handle all that in that show that aj did on his own promotions eddie handle that it had he was eddie was on on interview saying he handed all that and that's how aj like the so do that again dissolve can't get mad all you want is the employee aj by some promotions aj got a couple of fights on here's how this is all hypothetical board i'm saying these things can be negotiating you don't necessarily just say now we loyal to the zone who we already five six nine fifty to forty one press one to voice their opinion right here on the voice of the people hotline going out to mark is in dc man yelling at the check this out man great topic man great insight and that's a big you got you want they everybody rather take the day i'm a hundred percent in which you the question is does he have any fight is is that some inspiration that he has somebody trying to be the most active in their own career may not had the desire yet to a run its own promotion business you know what i'm saying so let's see what happens i'm sure a lot of fighters would like the way they would you start to randall go and do all this money could come in china will now one and then the question is is that why wouldn't you sit down because now a early than the pay per view model ever says he's coming out of mike you so i definitely don't free television network near the wings aj rematch definitely the pay per view this everybody who's aj and there's a lot more he will be able to come back and participate in the box and boy they spent another fight about the happier because right now they fight that they they they ship is dead in the water because they got nothing to talk about wages you put this thing on paper view you do some leaders to get them believe in the eighteenth figured out ways mistake in issues and if i'm aj you damn right i go body and say you know what i think about it yeah would you not agents you dig it would you call nine figures they gave me shit not woke up well i hope the trend of people coming in so i definitely think june that i definitely agree with that and like i said we were connelly manager alex cora is going out to boomerang go box or no money working don't like to talk with the clinton when she i was going no show boy h money mr zone the boss embossed two thousand nineteen rookie of the year in arcane way footage rematch is all being a great fight it definitely gonna be bigger the first one is gonna be the biggest fight a two thousand nineteen and the view speak for herself got twelve million booze oh you to right now eddie way versus anthony joshua i'm like andy we will get another knockout nurse he's gonna shock the world again it is all be the end up any joshua and i'm so happy that does own didn't get a long term deal because he didn't deserve that little deal that he doesn't have a reza may like canelo so i'm i'm really happy that he'd get on the laws are bill i'll say like oh i feel like ooh is definitely the best heavyweight owned his own soul was any ways knocks him out again npr's still got great heavyweights white all sick you still have seen hargrove vic you have great talent on national boston i wanna speak about show promo video ness oh jimmy almost done wrong with you all lovie he he's taking his time i mean doing a great job man you know how we do it sanjay promotions we we hear despite just like his own mess and don't know if i should be all showtime near the should be all pay per view the fan we don't wanna pay a hundred dollars what it's like we owners all for what a twenty dollar the dollar oh boy you're worried about it from a bird watching nurse to in line dancing firefighter nobody's just one thing that fly polar pop and foster earn either choose from all kinds of flavors and make your next polar pop and foster just seventy nine cents each circle limited time only at participating locations starlight lounge presents an evening the progressive box the moon let's you tickling the ivories he just saved by bundling home and auto with progressive gonna finally by ring for that gal of yours hugo send american dolences this next to me there but in my insurance company and affiliates discounts not available in all stages situations you know what i'm saying so all the fans know that we definitely definitely want this fight on his own is better for the fans will still make great they cut it cut it's better for the fans but any better from my wallet him an interview eddie you thinking about you know aj in that again that bread bread we going out to dano richmond california what what what's going on with what's going on how you philly i'm assuming man how are you doing oh so i wanna say the reason why i don't think there's a date and then you're yet is is just what solan got back in his about it yet you know i i could see behind the scenes how i could see behind the scenes how yeah joshua says he wants the rematch because that's the honorable thing they say is you just got dressed will team with his big job but behind the scenes i could see i could see her and saying look you gotta go back into this thing you gotta get those bills back in joshua was probably like i don't know you know like he's probably in training 'cause i've seen some videos he looked like he is in training but meanwhile while he's in training any strung together restarts together he's trying to get the ball back together he's trying to get his soul back in his body it's it's still indecisive if he really wants the rematch even though he says he wants it i believe behind closed doors he's still not sure if he wants to go back into that he is going back into that rematch in being knocked out again that's that's the dead that's very devastating in his career where did they go from there if you go back into the rematch in does the same thing again or maybe somebody goes no matter where does it go from there you know what i mean maybe being worried about that nigga maybe do some among fucking grimy of do find but he's still grimy right now we want to like that personality oh no person do you man you see clearly you cut out bucket and the next door neighbors something we go downtown met in texas talk to me what's going on what do you do come oh yeah yeah what a much more by removed gone yeah yeah yeah what up what up so a real quick my thoughts thoughts on this on this whole aj ordeal is i agree with nest you know they're out there they like per one h i shouldn't be mad because this is why you don't go first you went first you became the bar that's why canelo insurable ge got more money secondly they just like just the kind of pick it back up what the last caller said what happens if we do go out there and we get ice once again we know what you do you get fucking paid for you go to his own got she got fan and you see what they've got and if they pulling up more money then you come back to the dawn and make them give you more money that's the whole purpose of all this aj is looking like it doesn't look like he's scared looks like it's finally hit a damn a lot and i'm gonna belt on a pool it's time to give back in because when this giant he's getting ready for andy he's getting ready for the left hook them right hand all he's getting ready to boxing looks like he's gonna come back on strong but this is just a money grab aj aj looking around finally like what the fuck you got this show but he's got that out of the fucking unified have away capital world now i got with this let's go out there and get some more money lost on call this man i love these callers they odds on sb real though let's wide open how old are you are you are no camello contractors guarantee we we know that we know that but then josh with is made to me i am how much of a victim starting five something like that so so far about five we we still good right now right now really well he got through okay he he got three million more could have what they would they cannot get the rocky fucking filled in and i know and i bet you the one part of the control it was it was it just wasn't part of the three sixty five got it wasn't eleven fight but the ten fight is three sixty five that one fight was huge in and just and just so you you you you're you're thinking cap as my teacher used to say when we were in elementary school but you're thinking cap on miss the gross i mean if if if the natty lufkin got fourteen seen in that have to fight steve roles how much did they give canelo to come all home 'cause that was good not he's come home come home with me canelo just take all the money please please come home with me stop it is though i notice but nasa canelo fan boy you also know that troy talk to me baltimore along let me get your there's good and making sure you hear me can you hear me hello yes sir ten for good buddy okay good yeah it's just a founder the time man all lose all that in our repeat myself whole lot going these conversations let me say this the sun at times man i mean if you get more money why not get wall money and funny enough this started back with a gentleman by the name of buster douglas and a lot of people don't give her credit fit at remember you knocked out types and just in case you don't know and then he said at one thirty million dollars king told him exactly where to go eagles defied holyfield obviously they get paid thirty million dollars so you know that's where all this started play good thank you could think buster douglas where they're not floyd have a good day back all right well thank you for the history lesson there troy in baltimore we're going to gmo's talk to me what's going on with gm oh yeah what's going on guys really i think that is just about the money man 'em think eddie hearn just wants to i mean i really think that he's thinking maybe if i lose again i just i need a cash out with him in you know joshua joshua ways of winning despite the rematch then you got a lot more opportunity but you know that's that's if that's later down the road i think that eddie hearn is right now sitting down seen how much he could make off this fight if you could make a pay per view you know i think that that would make more money for him i i don't know much andy reed's have you know just saying this but maybe he could make a case you know maybe he can get more money as well get a better better venue and you know but joshua i like i said once you get beat like that i don't think it's it's a good idea to come back in fight the same person but if he thinks he could do it you know he has to get ready in you know go out there and do it and same goes for reads you know can't take them lightly and that's where they might call man well all right jim oh thank you for calling in we do realize if you take the fight he's like six months after the first by right so he's not just making into two months later is there a year later it's still happening with that same in calls the nightmares serve some time now glenn shuck bags silly actually waiting seven months could be worse that she could be haunting him every day using motivation oh you do wrong so man rocky was having flashbacks of a a a a hollywood baby everybody there's no harry flashback movies make us believe well he only half then it was getting migraines but he's remember and drag or jumping on that top rope superman punching his ass who's the say the same thing aj green covered that lever he probably still going around telling his friends like yo could you believe that my fucking god i hit him clean you know how many times we watch that fight unseated india where we've got firm that left her andrew we took that right hand in still disaster the level more britney's down himself man you would be to that might join the fight we ain't gonna talk about that donna while otto warren how are we doing okay ruina for what what's up i'm i i it might sound in the top right to know before you go back into a three man i i guess i thought the hold up with this would be the location but i guess all these calls might be right it just might be any looking out for more money i mean he might need the squeezes find out of aj i who knows what might happen if aj loses you've probably not gonna come back from that so you just trying to get the biggest deal possible for this fight and i also think that eddie have a backup plan in all signed music in if aj loses i he's definitely gonna go all behind him but only time will tell i mean mike is right it where where are like six seven months our i think we just need to give it time and see what happens but that's my a rule 'em hey man they gotta get the money brown in in you know route just he made the little says man i don't even know if i said that but you do have the kind of look at this as a cat i mean i i've said that in the past 'cause 'cause it's awful fighter the comeback of the back to back losses so you kind of look at this as a cash and get the most money possible cause of aj happens not to win streak is over that ship sailed on and i don't think you're a news hook and put the fucking day may take a year two years off comeback but you ain't gonna come back to this level remember if that was the case they would take you ever to now titles loan amount and the same goes he wrote him dice yeah you promote dies but yo to back to back losses man you know the uk is fake fans even though they said they take man's name might have might they might my fucking burn the house down now brian how saying you cannot closest i've seen uk a fan support fighters that should never even be oh dave allen people love david allen i don't know why i mean look good with a hug he just knocked out dillion white let's give it a hunter white biggest name on his reds what does adam corn nike do the fucking dave out i'll know with our wow look at the whole wow you know looking into looking with louis ortiz could not do below two i'm not getting any that's another topic i got all issued a notice gt a if mike is not easy will be back new problem are giancarlo stanton livermore on twitter at gross to people want to got a super chatty super chatty from mac garcetti honestly nbc give back in the gym his trainer set a month all but he's still involved with the media imagine andy off with a six month can't i mean he's got some dough may june july first mark thirty one days you know of the fight with thirty days of the fight so he's still got the but but but but we out catch the next one make sure you subscribe to the youtube channel right here at youtube dot com forward slash the box and voice you that notification as soon as we go live to guess what will be going live here we got patriotic better show it's a it's real difficult but we'll talk about it and put you over seven billion humans on earth cat home like the "Three cards. Amongst the chaos. We're Hayes in there is there. Hello Daniel. I did it. How are you? Okay. Give me some news. How's your weekend? It's Thursday today, right? Yes. There is A. Little Thai curry last night. Okay. How's the belly so far so good. How's the them so far? So good not spicy and not too bad. Just Nice I didn't drink I had a sparkling water 'cause they're doing the. Is Fifty percent of Your Bill Oh? Yeah. I heard about that. Yeah. To a suit in amount I didn't pay the bill so. True. Gentlemen. My rounds last week when he was full price main. So, what have you been up to this week at Danny boy I think, I, saw you doing a style shoot or something yes and how did that go? What is the style shoot? He's prestigious. Like myself haven't done one for since I kinda started writing at a wedding venue in Shropshire. Which I thought was a bit closer knows actually. Asked me about six weeks ago what I do style shoot for the wedding venue and it's not really my my job. I elected to the venues I-. Times, a quiet just practice. So it's up from me saying yes. To me having to organize it I just thought I was going to be the one taking the photo. So like you had to position the models. Yeah. But I talk in is all the other people because obviously you need a wedding dress, you need a couple, you need stationary people, flowers, cake on all the rest of the things that go with a wet and really. Okay. So yeah, luckily, I know obviously in the industry no car lot of people. So I I, it's a day. That's good. I hope you didn't undervalue yourself on the Elko tation then. You were expecting to just take photos and you ended up being the organizer. Well, that's the thing A. Do One thing, and then at least the next thing and then next thing you know you're you're kind of running the show. So you have got them to at it it's a bit. It's a bit more opposite. It's kind of stage show. It's. Only, for small partner went into why do I get involved with anything like that? Really really couples photos. But, then you gotta do it differently because with couples photos I want them to be themselves. Anyway we this you ought to be a little bit more. Posey in yes. I know they. WanNa put into blogs and use it for they right in promotion. Exactly. Yeah. So it's Roller Stealth Porthos. Different Day in I in turn to the wedding venues really crazy because a huge. On Your instagram story, not like a fantastic venue and nobody knew it existed locally, which is crazy. Right up until a few years back 'cause he was owned by the Catholic Church and news kind of kept hush. Hush Okay What would they? What would the Catholic Church doing with the building? Not Very religious. Now, I have no idea obviously been. Tupperware parties. I was GONNA say workshops. Could you But. was probably we were both born Catholics from. Yes, indeed, and every time they. Say like Vegan special panel, which now I know it was going building. Yeah, but yeah it was. It was cool. There's a nice day out in the end but Yeah. All done and dusted now I've got a plot long and ended a few photos of fair enough. Yeah. The Gills want to submit to two blog posts in the lansing some something to do right now. Indeed, Yep keeps you occupied for the next one. I've got another little we read in. Next Friday. Okay. Then I'm GONNA on Scotland for ten days off fantastic and for the. Switch off what have you got planned? Actually run only I'm passing thorough. So I'm meeting up with David Scoles. Oh, great for. We drowned no coffee. Because it'll be in the morning after you're. Not Cut off time for the L. Beers on your holiday. Yeah I agree. But I by after drive. So that's a different story. One on his van will be going, and then I saw just above Cathro I saw on Britain's best walks a place called Malam. I think it's like the Yorkshire Dales never heard. No, I hadn't heard anybody looks beautiful. I. Ask Dave and he said Yeah I believe so okay. So we'll go with that. Made a little toll through the Yorkshire Dales and then Maye Navan not night. To Lock Lohman, antastic Your wife Scottish right she is indeed few comes from Fife Fife. Ledge Forth Bridge I've been over it now, ice. Glencoe, which will be cool. That will be fantastic and he's fantastic. Sorry. I. Did something very similar. The do yeah. We took a nice ot Mercedes tour of the highlands absolute dream and then you proposed right? No no no I actually proposed just before we went to Everest base camp so also exciting. I highly recommend going over to the Isle of Sky. It's beautiful. It's on the list. Oh So I. Guess you'll be going if you go into Glencoe, then you probably head up on the same route up to Fort William then I guess Yeah Yatra Liam's coming comission. Okay. So if you're going Glencoe Fort William and if you stay on that main ruled the erode account on what it is. Then you just keep following that road all the way to the port, and then you get the ferry across the sky. Nice and then you continue driving up and then you drive off the isle of Skye over the bridge, right? Right? Yeah. Yeah. Because otherwise you've to go all the way around it's a longer route in order to get to the bridge right but have a look at the ferry times before you set off just to planet. Luckily, we had a bit of a sporty engine under so he could put the phone down a little bit. Very. So they're not like the ferry timed in Thailand where you get given a time, and then it's like when the captain can be bought a joy whenever you've got enough of a gathering. Or, you can pay the extra the extra space oh leave. The chartered ferry. Usually takes five thousand people but if you. Go exclusively for you we live. Now otherwise, we believe one hundred people exactly. That's the way they work. Billion Thai time. Yeah I remember getting a taxi. Last two years actually to do weddings and I wanNA did a bit on my own then and then I, try to get a taxi from my the venue staying out to Max. Taxi I. Yeah. Yeah. Sure. How Long When it comes? Cool Half now came by. I went back to. Do is that is a taxi. I told you when it comes. So yeah. Let's actually half an hour late to the taxi cabs and she told me I told you it comes as I. You As. They came. Yeah they. Love time people. So if me Nikki's uncle has been out there for the last twenty years. And he absolutely loves it out there. Yeah, I have. Yeah. It's fantastic. We went out there to visit him I he's actually showing my. Lines, and then we went to Bangkok and we did we did the usual stuff. But when we were in Bangkok, we went to go and see the imperial Palestine Cox Crazy. Yeah and this guy comes over to us and there was a bell ring in behind us at the same time. And he goes listen to bill and it was like get. He's that means the palace is closed for the next hour. And we were like, okay, real. That's that's really nice of you to us. Thanks a million and he goes I have a map each want this map. You can take it and I can show you where you should go for the next hour. It's it's beautiful and we were like. This guy is so nice. Nick will give him a tip. Yeah. WE'LL GIVE HIM A. I'll tell you what? took. So, Johnson? This took took and all my Lord brought around all of these factories where they would bring tourists and they were trying sell you all sorts of stuff jewelry stones, marble statues, anything you can imagine they were trying to sell it to you. And we were just saying, listen bring us back. Bring us back. Bring this back in just one more one more every time I go into this place I get money for petrol I need to feed my kids and all of this stuff all my God. After the ten factory where like okay. Change of Tolan brings back nobody or they'll be consequences. You'll see the Irish twist own. Back and the palace wasn't even close and it was just a complete scam and absolute scam imagine. That was we were burnt. We we learned our lesson after that day. Yeah. He after experiencing to to learn and say. You really do not today. It's a real pity. I wasn't into photography then either I'm on. So many places I've been to and I wish I was into saga. I would've had some amazing shots right? I mean I had this Sony cyber shot to remember those. Down Screen Sony. And I was looking at the photos. I don't know maybe last year or whatever, and the difference in in what you would take a photograph off was. Oh. My Lord. was literally switch it on. Bam It's terrible. Absolutely terrible memories still there doesn't mind exactly and you know you go back to some of these one day with the different Different. I. Definitely. Got To go back out there again with a with a decent camera with with a new Fuji Fuji Fuji Hours you're Fuji, it's Great. It's absolutely fantastic for taking forces of our little princess L. Area because it's got the electron shorter. Because I really don't want to have a camera stock in our face all the time as much as I'd love to. So I I was thinking about like getting a cheap teddy and couldn't note the inside. Anyone tune in right now, it'd be what is. But it could work right if you if you cut out the insight and just could hold in its belly and hunt the lens sticking out of that hole then. They're not going to have a camera in their face every five seconds ahead a nice cuddly teddy. I can imagine like lower is like when she's in school now Aska of garnish stories about home and stuff, and then she'll come up with that. Once on. My Dad was spying on me. A hole in the. Teddy. Camera. Sure could move dude. Maybe I'm android and. In the face. Does learn to live with it. So yeah. Yeah. I'm trying consciously not to have the phone in her face or the camera in our face every every day, but it's very hard. You know when she she's developing, she's growing and she's doing all these new things now and you just WanNa capture it all. Especially for our parents and family the absolutely loved these videos and pictures. They must be difficult for them because you're Switzerland this still in Islandia. Scotland Ireland yes. Yeah. So it's really nice for ten nine. Yeah I. Yes. So the Fuji would fit really nicely in inside a teddy. Seven fifty less. So this is any teddy bear makers can you make? personalized. Fuji holder for come on I think is a niche market. Dragons den you become. You shoot weddings with the eight fifty, right? Yeah. So it was kind of going back to that last week. The my little three, our wedding. I read the manual again, I was up all night reading your you have a couple of them. I used to run with thirty five one with a ninety five and then I have a little twenty, four mill. In my pocket just in case I need something a bit wider what. Why did you actually choose the at fifty what brought you to that camera? I was used in December fifties which are great. The files were great. The didn't files a great. Dynamic Range Shadow recovery just slam for then it lacks in the things like the author was pretty poor and it's pain sometimes. Yeah. Yeah. The shutter would play up on them because they had issues I probably should have taken it in another ten but that would stick up noni ends. You'd have to take the lens of flip flip the mirror with your finger on and go again I got exactly the same with both my buddies just jumps up right. So NOCCO, in the variety is coming down the aisle you know not cool at all actually only ever happens to me on my first shot. So winning which on the camera and I take, it'll jump. Switch off camera and back on again, and it's all good. So it's never happened to me A. Shooting how to know and they explode as well. Don't they supposedly Which? I wouldn't go down well in a church definitely, not and then the at eight fifty was just been upgraded and everything and built like a tank That is true. Yeah. I think it's one of the forty two of forty, six megapixel. Didn't need a that. So I shoot IT IN A. Raw Large file twelve bit lost Luis compressed so I'm no techique but I I know that's not the files. The biggest file is a big file with fourteen hard drives face memory 'cause base you just like I don't need that. I did a little test to see was what they also do like a small and medium role. Yes. I've seen that. Yeah. The shadow recovery and dynamic range is better than the twelve bit. Lodge losses compressed. He was in the medium and is a little bit bigger file but I thought the trade off is is worth. Yes. I've stuck with that. Yeah. No. Seriously half the size of the main file of the. Too, it's not too bad. Then as a good camera, it you know with mirror less now I've shot with Sony's and silently and when you don't side with seven three cooling off so you need the nine inside with with the artificial lights yet. Yeah. It's smaller. Cool. But I still trust the nickens. I remember when the at fifty was released and I was really excited about it. I was reading about it and and one of the things that excite him in the most about the camera was the backside illuminated sensor, the BS I. Are you familiar with this tech donny boy? Kind of evil liberate rob because you're really going to go to town on it. So you flip the sense of one hundred and eighty degrees first night traditional. Already now. And you basically collect the light, the photons through the packers, the sensor rather than the front of the sensor. So the photons end up in the same place collected in the photo diets but they advantages when you do it from the bank, you don't have all of the circuit metallization getting in the way. So in theory, you've got a large area to collect more light. So what I thought Roger was you'd have a very high signal to noise ratio. So very low noise and the dynamic range should be should be enormous but that wasn't. The reality and I was really surprised about that. Yeah. Not In the aim nine because I bought one to do away island. You didn't read the manual didn't practice just took it and just shot with it. Yeah. Yeah. Coming back and ended in the files, mind the the the noise in shadows because the way I added I'd take Carl, shot out, bring them back around in certain areas exactly. Yeah. So I removed the shadow I was like Jeeze Palapa. Yeah. It was really shocking for me Yeah I had the DA fifty on rent for five days. Just, to try it out and exactly that like with the decent fifty you you can actually be complacent photographer because you can recover pretty much any file unless you're completely out but. As professionals that I guess that shouldn't really happen with fifty yeah. I I wasn't as is no way as flexible as it was with a visa. The seven, fifty us to those really Yep Yep. I attempted with this new cannon are five and our six. Located. So it was on the are five. You know that one's year towards video year. Yeah and there was a comment on facebook that was written and I never really clicked to me before. But. Stealing stills from from video footage. And I thought like Y- genuinely never missed a moment. If you were to do that now I'm doing this raw. Matching. Calling it recreates. An and the thing is I mean it's not just a crappy J. peg or a or a low-resolution still do actually Aka raw data at that is absolutely mental. Isn't that after she if you're only doing one in the year four, hundred, thousand, pound, you mind Kelly not you don't mind spending a week Ellen. No, it's. Insane and the best bits it's really insane I. Mean. That's where we're going know though I mean, could you imagine right having a camera setup somewhere like? On I don I'll let say right you've got a camera setup just fixed they're filming at Aka raw footage. And you're taking your shots at the same time what I guess you won't even need to. But basically then you just go back and you just pick the best phones from the from the video footage. Sway go the way to go. Yeah. But that's that's so much data. I've just bought five new hard drives for my dad. And they're not cheap. Still I mean they're still not cheap. No. Grand, if you WANNA buy one or two but if by FIFE Wow. And forget that they're just standard drives. They're not solid state. Yeah. I use the G. Technology Enya they they look cool they. You know so far so good. They've in great. We have an not cheap either not solid state right now known the not. I've got a little little portable solid state ones. Yeah I, but like one terabyte something. Really were five eight terabytes in year Oh man is can't afford that. You don't need I mean honestly, if I could I would get solid state from my Nas and for my boss, I. Mean I don't need the transfer rates put there they run cooler they're quieter. They are more energy efficient and there's no moving parts sold cancer something. Kinda make ways of making these files smaller shortly. Maybe, I I doubt it though I think it's going to go the other way I think you're gonNA get bigger and bigger and bigger. Yeah. Because the the price of storage is coming down on time. So it's not going to be in Karabakh said, they don't care anymore and the speeds of these fundable three forty gigabits per second. I mean the amount of bandwith you've got is it's just it's future proof for the next. For the next while that's for sure. So it's really not an issue it's not a limitation. Everyone there. We will be translated and Roberts speech through this podcast because I have no idea what the hell. I do. Tech radar on my home screen. On. My on my phone so I mean the News Tab News News Okay so In. Gadget is a really good one hyphen tyler adamant right out on looked at one. What else do I over four pills? Now. This is fantastic. You got to have photo pills tell more I. You can basically pump in your camera settings and it'll give you depth fields. So how much harmony meters are? Or less of depth of field you should expect with this particular setting and Lens and so on. It's. I mean you're a pro e. you can probably know that already from experience I my calibrated i. If you WANNA, be if you WANNA get a really shallow at the field in a group shot. And you don't WanNa overcook it. You can find you know you can say so far away you are from the subject you can say what lender using what, and then I'll give you stop and then it'll keep you the depth of field that you can expect me. Yeah. So I like that and you can also then plan the day. So where the Sun will be ought X. Time. Stuff like that. I think it's really nice on whether northern lights are. Probably, that I use. Planet P. L. A. N. IT planet on the Milky Milky Way Milky Way yet like voiceless likewise likewise on on the tech is just baffles me yeah. What's your favorite APP? My favorite op is sausage of the day. The day that's just give you a daily image of a sausage dog. Not. Just one sources. The hundreds of sausages dogs are really. The community posting your photos there. No no no. I know you're I know you're I don't time for that. I do watch the odd such video on Youtube when. I bet. I'm only obsessed with my dog, not not everybody else is the dog I do love them the cool liquid. It's exactly the same kids man. Your own kid in a completely different light everybody else is my little blue eyed child exactly assisting in little. Rock climbing. muchly hoping to train Hilario to be in my band so. We're going to have to get an all drum kit in here. Do All your duly works here. Told me right in. That as well that would be good. Yeah. But one step at a time I I'm I'm desperate to have a band. She could be part of of the honor to Geneva singer. yes I know that you're keen singer. At least judging the efforts you've put in in the last couple of podcasts. Do you WANNA be in my band my band my and you WanNa be my band Ma band. We should definitely have the podcast where I'm standing on. His name. Gary Gary. Back. God. It's crazy where you can't say nowadays and indeed, I, wouldn't I wouldn't let that stop here. You visited the London the street. Photography Festival. London and didn't that was last year? Was it? Yeah. That was last August. Yeah. So what is it? A festival where you you way wall paint and you take your top off and dance around a Yeti. Have you got like on little sticks optional optional. Now I say it's a festival held in. Hackney. All About Street photography three day festival they have a meet and greet dinner on the Friday then they have. All talks and then they did like a workshop on the Monday the three days. So okay. New Street Pataki. So I googled it. Cooling. Some photographers like Matt Stewart there. So everyone street photography wise would know his work from his from the UK right so he would give him to talk other. Cool and then I saw a like a workshop. With a Guy Jeff Mermelstein like. I'd done wedding photography workshops and things in the past. So I just thought I'll just have a look from a different perspective of a workshop you know yeah. Cool So yeah, I signed up for that on a whim. I went there rocked up didn't know anyone friendly place really enjoyed Ole. Competitions all the Prince Oh along the wall. So yes and talented other. Sounds really met some really good people. And stayed in touch with the people in the workshop who were all like keying King. Street photographers who knew everything about street photography and I was going who what? Where I've been there. I've been there. Yeah. On the they'd like is and the top of the range Fuji and I rocked up with a so knee. Yeah I know what you mean. Knew what? I was. The workshop in Barcelona with Paul Wisconsin. And there was a group of six or something like that and they all had their like is in the few Jeez and so on and I had the fifty. Yeah. Yeah. It's like a salon. Worse. At least was a bit smaller. And I just really something different because they are. They have like they've got these festivals all over the world run by the different people but got Miami Italy, I can. Festival. Yeah Is it like a franchise no I think they all into network together and push each other in a way I believe. So hold on a minute. COULD WE START A burn? Street yesterday Kurt I. Don't think there's one in Switzerland may be wrong boom. Let's do it. Yeah. We'll have five guests initially. and. We'll just slowly build. Yeah. So. Yeah. On this. This workshop. I met the. The people who run and really friendly and one of them is on today. Mary yes Mary who? Mary Queen of Scots Mary Queen of Scots Okay. I she. She's the queen of Latvia originally okay. Yeah. She just married. needs to know any more than that wrong. Okay. Fair. Enough married Mary Mary Mary things. Merry. Go Petit Mary London's Street Photography Festival Mary okay. How you know Mary. Mary. Yes Mary Tim I'm over. Yes, she k- kind of on the workshop. As Ralph Izzo three days just kind of sitting in the background so you obviously get to know. The the actual workshop we did. They give you like. Like. Things to. Like little tests. I. Give you an example. Go and sit in one spot for one hour and move and see what you come back with. Yeah, but you can pick this. Do you do after the class. Okay. In your spe time really and guess where I picked gone. Pub. There's no flies a mirror i. like him a man clever boy. So. Dan, let's get married. Tomorrow on. We've done enough chat I. Want to hear more about the street photography festival from Mary Herself Wise move on student who Kim. Caused. Seeking the stillness amongst the chaos. We're, Hey, a very warm welcome from myself and Dan to Mary Tim Aho Ver-. Are we getting on Mary I guys. Hey. Mary. How you doing I'm doing World Hawaii Con Complain over in Switzerland here the weather is stunning. So yeah, I can't complain either I'm only nineteen minutes from you. So I'm guessing we have a mixture of blue skies and cloud the whether he has been pretty good. I'm just a bit concerned. It's an go bad by the weekend you know as it's usually does supposedly it is. Actually got a wedding tomorrow the first time in a long long time you just need to specify that shoots. Os. I'M NOT GETTING MARRIED TOMORROW Nobody wants me nobody loves ME YEAH WHEN IS? That big. I'm too young robot. And Plus Yukon Murray your sausage. Dog. Mary are you familiar with Denzil sausage monster? Yeah. There's actually a funny story about God I usually bump done with questions about like looking looking pigs and then at some point, my my husband came home and I go like remember Dan on Jeff Murmell sees or should like yeah. Yeah. Like he just being Oh, show me the picture of your sausage. Okay. Context. Could? No No, no no. I'm going to get some big grizzly mass to me in the future. We might take that one out of context. Make take anything get this age I hit forty and April in lockdown. Mary. So Oh, happy birthday. Yeah. Thanks. I think it's more commiserations Mary. I know it's I. Made It. I complimented. Got There. I mean if you made it through twenty seven. Yeah I can't remember much of it, but I made it. By Hook or by Kirk I go. So Mary. Tell us why we're talking to you low hopefully because you like me. That goes without saying Mary. Tell them tell them another reason. One of the organizers of the same that's street. Festival, of we are the biggest In the UK currently in fourth year, and that's actually how much Dan says Peking shoots the festival and we also had a workshop with different scene which end was that whole so We had joy. We had fun. We had seasons in the Sun. No, he was really get 'cause. Yeah. I literally just started street photography that you. Yet a new experience to me and I must say I felt very, very welcome straight off the bat. Yeah No. The welcome, really good and yeah, the talks role really get and obviously the Jeff Mustang workshop. We met some good people on Yeah Yeah Really Nice Bunch of people really nice guy and still a little keeping in contact. Yeah. We have a what's up group were where There's people from all over the world in Dubai Vol as in. Jiminy on the moldy. Right, now he's in Germany but usually his Maldives and we all love you hate him for us. So depressing, you have a membership program on the. London street. Photography Festival. I mean more really I mean first of all the festivals of it's free like it's become we we don't take any charge for tickets because that's what we agreed on the first day that we decided to to make the festival like if we can survive without tickets, we want charge especially 'cause we don't in northeast London in lovely space cold star space is by leave us our in Hackney just overlooking the stadium and it's a it's a good community Haapsalo to people just come compare like on the weekend the guts lovely cafe terrace just like on the river. So people just come in not just tacos so we decided wind up. Charging, they'll thing we charge for is the workshop and contests like people send. The hose for contests yet. It's a really cool venue like really funky chilled this buildings like old industrial buildings covered in really cool graffiti with people actually living in the ones. Yes. Really. Cool. They WanNa if you oughtta studios hides while and miserable to think they sold goose. Yeah that is very important. Yeah detrimental every time. Do you have a bit of a gathering afterwards you know of a party a few a few drinks afterwards or is there just too many people. Well, that's what we do like usually on Friday it just the opening night. So it's basically just meet and greets hug hug while delayed while while. Talks to people with Mr Distance, the people you haven't seen while Drink drivers and. Such. Next died on. Saturday were usually moved space. 'cause we used to when she used to spaces. So Stars Pacers the main one, the other, which is also great as the old off about ten fifteen minutes. We'll come style space also hackney and we're on the dinner. Basically, a local chefs cooks a bunch of poll photographers reduced tickets. That one we've got trainings got live music So their stats and then on Sunday of stars pace just keeps open until you know until we keep on buying. Drinks. So Yeah Koo Koo, Koo, Koo honesty considering I didn't know anyone very welcome in some really great talks and inspirational talks because coming from a wedding photography perspective as it was new to me, you know are you a photographer yourself Mary? No No. Really. So I'm not actually from photography background. So my background is in journalism, and then in our history of mind you, I've ORCAS diva manuscripts believe loud visas both an still got to train. which helps a lot in H-, and my and my join on bygone has evolved helps a lot because I do lots of communications approaching sponsors tool. Kentucky. Both at such My husband's interested in Co. he's also a cold woken as he street photographer. So that's how I kinda got involved in everything. I see Yep he's. Probably is housing fifteen. Remember we went to Miami Street photography festival. Was the judge. And then at some point we got back. Like while okay. We don't have anything like that in the UK. Brussels street photography wasn't either at the moment which actually met Danny who mounts press holes a that here in Miami, and that's also how he got there. Often the festival. So we didn't really have anything and. In Europe, to be fast break which would be dedicated to uncle say. So yeah. So that's how that can both be fat. and. Then we called them God Saremi commodity groups also co curator. The amazing amazing person she was volunteering with us the first year, and then we kind of justice partially like the keep joined us, and then another person who's involve is our productions director. Joe Keyes he he came to share, and then I like well, I worked for production company to guys need help with that. So yes, he does. That worked out really well, last year was actually the first year I went to a tool because usually I'm just wanting all over the place off in the bookshop and lost hired had amazing. Amazing Volunteers So yes, I was I was able to attend Jabs Toke. Trees on. So, this is my intake on street photography rob. I signed up to a workshop. To photographer heightened every year dove. This is my ignorance, the street photography and the time. So. Everybody was like on the workshop a massive. Jesmyn. We'll see news in New York photographer whose work is great and he's been doing what? Forty Fifty Years Mary. Fifteen years like crop imagine. Movie, festival I wouldn't get much scope. There's a big deal. And The best thing about Jeff Mammal seen he didn't talk about any of his photos which I found totally different coming from a wet in photography perspective. It was all about people's photos that he admired and. And then he does can ac- Some Var photos and yeah and I was I was all new to street photography so but yeah, show show on everybody who showed a photo he would say this photo reminds me of such and such street photographer and he would name the image and I thought is memory of all these images was just insane. You just like a library graphic memory Honestly. Has Lots of Brian, by gone in teaching. I really feel that. Yeah I was really good. Really good. Yeah. No I I it his work for a long time. Yeah. He's absolutely fantastic. So you're really happy with getting Jeff Mermelstein. Would you like to get while this year we got drama your own Nice. So yeah. So that was great. Actually Jeff as you know like people like Joe don't necessarily know how to approach them. Yes. Jeff was like, okay. I sent an email telling that you you're gonNA bring him. So those that. We've got some people that break heated in mind one of them would be get hustle. Thinking about Howard, you would be another list definitely a I'm a big fan of his. One of his books very good at somebody's. My Favorite Street, photographer, Web, Alex, club with Rebecca especially since I know that they do amazing workshops like up until by lots of people are there workshops are amazing? Yeah that would be that would be nine center. Every everyone's got suffering of light right I was my first photography book if I remember correctly done you that much you've even got two versions of it. Rice's true. Yes. Somebody else bought it for me as well and did not have the heart to tell them. Thought of already. Got It. If anybody wants to buy a book. Please write them getting contact with me. You know you'll with can bring it to the. Bookshop. Good I can idea because you have. The festival, they have a bookshop to yes. So the thing is we kind of we're trying to create a hub I, come in from abroad and they don't necessarily have time to go to a bookshop especially like dedicated street. So we run a small thing with firstly I can bring their own books. So we have lots of self published book sensens-, a chant with south of working with Simpson. Hudson. So they send us by street photography books. and. Also, what happened last year people would brigade the second hand books. So they just told me was the price we don't take commission. So yeah, people just come and buy a bunch of books, which is always nice. That's really nice. That is cool on Mary mean raw actually spoke to Monaco who started I shot magazine. And this is where I saw his magazines Rav at the bookshop. Yeah. Yeah. There are beautiful publication. Did you see Mary that he's just starting at Brooklyn from famous? Send me a link. I. Think I saw something you know the amount of like if related link. I've sent it to you know. So He's publishing a series of books on various Shreveport Talk Photographers Great Masters Year Yeah. He's got vinnie Vora on their monster. Yeah. Yeah, just going. To have beneath was with US first year. He's a really good friend of Dmitri a they are at the same photography collective called the street collective Sova need came to London first year although that's really good good. A list of people he has he's got a really nice list of people. Really. Well, put together as wrong. I mean he puts you can clearly see he puts a lot of love and attention into the magazine publications and I have no doubt. He will do exactly the same thing for these. Next. level. So Mary oversee, you said, you didn't come into street photography from photographers perspective that. Anyone really caught your eye and you just go. Wow. This photos are like something else. While I as I mentioned I really reload her viewer I love these stats had and. FESSEL colors. Another thing that's really close to my heart which Kombi relate that trusted on sap tucker free of husband combs look it up. It's really good. You buy a star. But he's really gonNA street photographer. I know I. I've seen his work. He he has just like such a good appreciation to color and too abstract things. I. Like Y'all giving hustle as well. I like. So lighter recently, I really thought like are. I think he's like one of those Talk I working now. I really. Like Giacomo is pretty neat. These telling. But. He doesn't do that much. recently, which is a shame. some people disappear for Violin Recoup Regroup on combat goal inspired you know. So yeah, I mean sometimes you know when when you not feeling it. But to to stop awhile. Totally. But I mean there's another school of that will tell you. Well, you just need to stick with that like really Don t light. Tied stand up for an hour de. Do. You have any photographer's work hanging on your all at home Oh yes. We've got. We've got a picture from Ukrainian Kasama firm. Chuck, which was giving to Dimitri by him, and then we also have to work by another Ukrainian hope of Alexander. The Akin. Who had a personal exhibition? Second Year of the festival. He does blocking by pictures of Edessa, Ukraine and that's what my husband is from. Okay. Cool. Cool. The color or black and white thinking wide and Poe. Jug says color. Yeah. Awesome. We'll check them. Oh Yeah, I was just trying to go there as you were saying, but I'm saying. Yes. Yes and some link do please release. So married this year things. Taken a turn for the worst children say and life has a bit unexpected. Yeah. There's no physical location in Hackney anymore to go to. Right. So what's Your Plan B? Well? So they see the obviously you know for various reasons won't be. In flesh life version of the festival we went. On sued decide that we are doing version this year, we can social a distance from us. And that more people can unit and just like recently, it's been confirmed with showcase that will be both costing. Out Into, a stage Opera Birmingham that will be two presenters that will be using a you know all the mangams to get people to talk to US law you've. Taking audience questions trump still sorting out like the smaller boats. Will be costing. That will the we'll be recording. I was going to be on our youtube page. Assume. So That's August, the twenty fifth twenty, eight, it August the twenty fifth to twenty eighth. Twenty eighth. So to us. I'm looking last year. Yeah. It's. It's. It's always all August Bank Holiday Weekend Gotcha. Lots of people go to shoots Notting Hill Carnival a Monday. Yeah. That's right. Yeah I don't usually I just come around To a pulp wherever wants go third for few? trikes wise. So you also was speaking with Forest Walker. Yeah. I actually came on the podcast with myself and Robert Yeah. Of course the great friend they're really good photographer. Yeah. He was really interesting listen to him in so far as as you know is hundred hundred and five. Cities. Yeah. which. Yeah. Amazing Amazing Great Unto Him regress he's working on publishing. The whole thing. We're actually you were hoping that if the fessel was go ahead would bring you now just some fresh copies like I face to the hostile buff not this time unfortunately. So guys and girls and listeners and everyone out there forest will be on the podcast after this one. 'cause Mary's F. Mary's pushed their way in right you've bullied us. You've come with some Latvian Latvian feist. Yeah. Everyone can hear that unlike release carry. Really is room she really is. Yeah, it's interesting. You know like so the people still do those big projects because obviously you know lots of newspapers and magazines they don't keep on staff told me I will even even. Newspapers that would have one or two on stop photographer undyed. They would just go commission commission told to be. Imagine supposed going to the Gulf while to Africa for five years in twenty to twenty. So. Yes. I really liked the equal still do those big projects he said he wanted something that no one no not many people do something new a new challenge and yet to give up everything just go travel will fall. Failures travelling to different cities yeah. Mine I'd love to do that means everybody's. But then you listen to the stories of what some of the things he's too. You know in general along the way and you think actually it doesn't. It's not always as. Hunky, and Chunky, in Dorey as social media gives the impression. Yeah and I mean, also I mean it's hard to be on route for a few years. Show it's one thing when he goes travelling like four months to three or even six months of out and they're awful. HAS BEEN LIKE FOUR YEARS Yeah. So the hardest thing for me would be like finding the right backpack to keep my sausages dog in that would be. That would take up so much of my time. Yeah. On your cat honestly if you're not a student anymore. Traveling for more than one month. It becomes quite challenging. Yeah. Yeah. Even when I backpack after two months in Australia, I needed a little bit of stability and Miss Miss. The normality of day to day things and pop into the shops pop into the gym get into no local people so Have to do for five years play. Quick. Question Mary, the London Street Photography Festival right as the name would suggest as enlighten coup foresee it ever being sort of a traveling thing. So you you have a special event in a different country somewhere like for example new. York that's one of the things we have been talking about. But a sinking theory we'd like to be more based in the UK like even if we go somewhere folly at one off, then will be somewhere around the U.. K. Because I think that New York has so many photography things. That's yeah. They don't necessarily when he goes I don't think we can bring something new to them. Okay. So yeah maybe maybe someone the. Card is. Yeah. Why not? Get Been You. Menu the Millennium Stadium or the Principality Stadium as is now now where Wales is right, which one is rugby played yet the principality there used to be the millennium thinks around seventy, five, thousand you can hold. So yes, sounds about right. Yeah. I would daily intake aim high. You'd be doing well to see those prints from the backseat. Yeah. You'd have to big some Some big principle. But Hey watch this space. So Dan. You happy, rubber. Mary you. Happy. There any questions Mary you hide from myself overall about. Anything old guys you just put yourself on his pulse. Yeah. I own. Mind don't forget. I mean what? What your thoughts on because I think the lockdown has made lots of people to think through. Some things and get a different perspective So some photographers keep on shooting during lockdown. What's your perspective on how? How we're GONNA see the down fake may be in a while sometime. Hopefully, get back to normal. Seventy, two hundred lenses your new friend as opposed to twenty eight mill or thirty, five millimeter Lens. No idea what's talking? Basically. I kind of. People sometimes but obviously I've gone wants to twice around Cheltenham live do ring later in lockdown with things of opened up a little bit but I've been you know. Made sure I'm a certain distance from people not scape people on it. Yeah. It's been. It's been a strange because people are reacting differently right now people are not so carefree and which which is understandable. So yeah. Maybe that Long Lens at the Ministry of Defence us from offshore. Come in handy or the one that used to spy on your neighbors with them. Yeah. How `bout? You Rub pretty much the same as you Dan I think it's important to stay safe first and foremost the show I think there's a real opportunity to get a good street shot. Yeah. That's very time specific when you've got everybody walking around the city wearing masks and. Using. Hand. Staying one meter apart from each other I think subject separation should be really quite easy at the moment. I think there's a real opportunity out there. Rugby Union Postcast - Six Nations 2019
"Checkout potties rewards tab, simply five bets have ten pounds or more across any sport in a week. And you'll get a free ten pound bet then next week teens. He's play plus begun to talk. Welcome to this special six nations post cost if you don't you don't go anywhere for the next half narrow so go best bets for the whole tournament. And joining us in studio, we got grain woods from the racing post. In the sense, we go Stuart Riley Scottish aficionado on the line. Got barron. Jordan from our sponsors, Patty power. Good morning gents and good morning. Darren. Yeah. Very well. Thanks, if you could start SoftBank giving us a rundown of the prices for the outright markets for this year's six nations. Absolutely. So Arlanda shades of odds-on spite sick England tree one whereas at nine to to Scotland tenth warm fronts at eighty I'm Boise applies under Darren sticking with Europe. Obviously she want them to win. But do you think they will? I don't actually I think ways either this year dinner as our last year they're going away to France and their first game if they can win they're going to have some momentum for the rest of the doorman os ended up against our loss game. Warren Collins, the only odes with a winning record over Joe Smith. So I think whereas the best best in the I right and growing during see we go to negative. It's either from Darren, but you go back to twins eighteen hundred absolutely fantastic gave one six nations one in Australia way, beaten newsy than the new Alton doesn't they weaknesses? Other is held to pick. Does. I mean like you say they they lost one match in the whole of twenty thousand and that was the first match in the series against Australia, and they won the series two one being the All Blacks. I mean England had they feel coming off the field at Twickenham. You know, just go beaten by New Zealand. Yeah. Well, it's not that bad. And then I'll show them how it's done the following week. You've got to really have a feel for it more than than looking at the stat. So go and do it all again, it's not question of just carrying on. They've got to win five games winning five games in the so Whitehall amateur. The six nations is tough us. And I wouldn't back any team on to do that. I think Ireland got the best chance of doing it, certainly. But I wouldn't be I wouldn't be hugely confident in backing the short price to do it. And sure it what about you. What you did not manage to beat them last season. Australia did once because they won the series. So if you planning they built up carnivore around cells Huntley looking they're still going to be hard to beat. They absolutely do have this or of the best team in the northern hemisphere that very tough prospect to face I think one of the things the Graham alluded to their took a incredible drop-goal right at the last for their first game against France in this tournament last year, they started slowly again. Down in Australia that this has become a bit of a theme in recent years, and that would be my worry given their first game is England at the Aviva vivas become a real fortress for them. But that match is going to be absolutely massive as far as on the concerned, if they win that then, you know, everything is is on, but they tend to start slightly slowly or they've got this ability to slot slowly. And if they do that against England, then the whole tournaments blown wide open. And being traditionally slow starters oil, and they've got no margin for error this time going because they face England I up and then they go to Murrayfield and the next star. It's not like having Italy second up as they did last season. That's true. I would not be a bit more confident about Arlington. They're open it because I think they've got more continuity side. There have been more settled England. They're always having to deal with injuries, and it's always different players. So that that moving around a bit from the autumn. But I think those two games Scotland when bees Murrayfield, and I think cut if for the. Final round. We we seen. What why do they build them build through the tournament and England might need reminding what it's like when they went there in two thousand fifteen and blown away around five. That'll be Warren gallons last six nations match the atmosphere that would be incredible while it'd be fired up. I think that could be toughest test. Okay. Well, it's all done and dusted Taryn moving to England. Now, they obviously have to go to Ireland. I first game on Saturday and England with pretty poor in Las season's championship. They kind of had a resurgence of sorts the autumn and there's no pressure on them going swallowed. And does that make them dangerous this weekend? Yeah. I think so I think Addie Jones will be happy that they're going to our first game. Other guys are leading to our last six nations Sodhi loss away to Scotland years ago needed a last minute against against France loss year. I just think that the issue with the England spot is when you when you compare it to Artem spot is two or three eighths, Arlene that you don't know. Who's better refined? Whereas for the England spa. Does anybody do or three maybe four you do know if you're gonna photos, it's OJ and fire, but arson up? There's no one even on his he will definitely start. And I think that's a huge issue especially going into a world of year, you'd expect him to have been more continuity in that size and growing England the police back they wanted to having them for the whole twin very injury prone, but having them back the moment is obviously huge base for than going into the tournament. It is big. We talked about it last year when believe Luna polo was out and what a huge Los is. But I mean, don't forget England having to constantly chop change. They coked quite well in the autumn with the different back row. Now some of those players who did well in the autumn like semi on the Hiller injured believe Luna polars back in. So it's quite hard for Dae-Jung's to settle on a side. And there are a lot of issues. I think we'll find out more when the team's name, but who's going to be the ten twelve on stem, Ben TO's injured. So I think that someone he would have liked to go for. It's it's difficult for England. This kind of stuff I think this is going to be a tight game. I think on and we'll Perea Jit and England of then tough trips to sue to Cardiff whether they haven't done. Well, I don't think England to be in the talk to come in. And sure England liberty kind of went downhill for the majority of last year. They did kind of gathered themselves in you'll tomb. They did much better was that false stolen. What you think they've reached the bottom and they're on the way back up? Now, I'd say you probably both. I think the that was not quite as much promise in the autumn as people have sort of latched onto. But at the same time it's hard for them to get much worse than they were last season. You know, England started so incredibly well under Eddie Johnson. So all the ass ain't come out with the balloon NAS chair is a very odd performance that was more credibility in that. Awesome performances, and they've kind of developed into this just great big. Numbering powerful, but fairly one dimensional team. You know, they've got these massive bulk carriers in the pack in individuals like te'o to Alang coconut saying that really are building a team around the power rugby game. And obviously, you know in six nations conditions. I can see that being affective. It's a it's a decent fullback. When things aren't quite going your way. But I think you know, you look at the six nations outright betting market England. Ireland and Wales of the three at the top of the betting and they've got to go away to both those teams that offensive to go well in the tournament. And that's a really big ask in this tornament Darren go into the Welsh, I think most people looking ahead to this one would say they're the biggest dangers to all in could possibly win it if they get through this opening game against France Italy, second up, which we think would be a banker really bills nicely institute ornament. So do you take it that way as well? The biggest dangerous to Arlington could win this. Yeah. Absolutely. They've been able to come in under their eight last last year or so pose Arlanda being in form, but ways themselves one nine on the bang. It's it's got Lund's last six nation. So. Their vote for him less of always struggled. What when it comes to the six nations that doesn't it doesn't make a difference. They're always able to step up the Asian. I just had a nice run if they can get that win way. Bronze the first game. They're going to settle set up to bring art of in the last game against Arlanda. They say something on the line and not game that I agree. Fonsi them for groin. You'll feel in the Welsh they've also on a very good runner. Think is nine in succession. They've won. There's one of the dangers that gatlin. Maybe doesn't know his best team chopped and changed at ten and fifteen point. I think he knows his best team. But they're not all available, and he he's he's looking to develop the kind of depth that island of gone England of God. And certainly team selection. We'll be an issue because there's a lot of injuries and fella tells the big one we done half. And he's going to be within the first priority is going to be fit as a backup to tell. But. Well's the team wouldn't anyone who thrive on confidence and continuity and building on winds and just building up steam, and they showed that in two thousand thirteen they lost their first gut nachos at home to Ireland, but they went and dug out in Wyoming fronts, one ugly didn't concede to try and the next full matches. And we said thrashed England in this kind of the decider at the end. So it is a tough start way to fronts, but they've won the last three the the one they lost two years ago. It was the one ended in sort of three hours into overtime. Would if it was. So they've they're building the confident and they're going onto the right down and said, that's exactly what learn gatlin likes. He likes the fact that Joe Schmidt, and that he joins having verbals, and he can just get on with it this time last year, you know, they they're open. It was hung to Scotland everyone was talking up Scotland what a huge challenge day, we're gonna make an actually while was one pretty comfortably and got him said suits us fine. We know what we're doing. Everyone can talk about everyone else. We're going to get on with it. That's the kind of mood in the Welsh camp. And that's what a lot of confidence in that. A great twins eighteen wells. They got the monkey off the back with Australia, beating them in your Tim. So nothing's for then they can go into this woman with with Graham said a lot of confidence. Yeah. Absolutely. You know, they've got a very strong starting fifteen. They're in good form. They've got a decent run affections that fronts game. I is everyone has said is going to be absolutely crucial to their challenge. I think the thing with the way of squad that you look at and it just doesn't have the same death to at one or two crucial injuries and that can derail their campaign. And when you look what sort of brutal physical confrontation six nations rugby is you're gonna pick up a few injuries through the tournament. And the key to them is not happening. Too key individuals within within that same. They've got some seriously talented players. You know, you look at how much of the lions squad has been based on the way of squad in recent ause, obviously, there's a Gatling element there. But. A huge chunk of the backbone. So those sides has been based on the Wales team. There's some fantastic plays in a in a European sense. And you know, they're they're starting fifteen is as good as any out going to stick with us. Because before we came on you told me you were three quarters Scottish is that right? Yes. So you can tell us about the the Scottish angle here. This is going to be I think for all the teams oversee the six nations is crucial in World Cup here. But Scotland have a real open chain see to do something with three home games being on the fringes. They can win at home. They haven't been able to win away. But then they kind of getting this lowly is this the year is this the tournament where they really reached their peak. I would love to say, yes. So as a Scotland fan, you're always filled with the hope in every year you thinking I wear improving. This can be all. Yeah. It's such a tough competition this year one or two key injuries. The Scotland to carrying into the tournament can make a big dif-. So the chances we've got such strong developing squadron loss of Hamish Watson, I think is going to be able to be blow. But we've got some very very talented players a lovely way to start if you can pick the fixtures to Italy. I. Yeah. Absolutely. It's a good way into the tournament. The back line is starting to buzz the stunning to get some depth to the pack as well. There's a lot to be very excited about about the Scotland team, and the fact is on not quite sure they can string five games together to win the tournament. But they absolutely will cause upsets in this tournament. They will be I reckon they'll be at least one of the big three. And then you know, the the team that I don't see them winning the tournament. But they're going to decide the tournament by upsetting. One of one of the big three and grind the problem for Scotland Murrayfield has turned into a fortress for them. But when they go away from home, they seemed to go missing they did against Wales lost year. They go to beat the go to England. They go to France. Six. So how'd you see them going sign McGinty let you said to put some some context on that view that their home foams much better they've won. They beaten all five other teams in the lawsuit tournaments in the whole history of the six nations, they played forty eight away matches. They've won seven of them five of those who are in Italy. So and they did it again in the autumn. You know, they went to wells again, and they lost that one quite quite badly. So they've gotta get it together on there. There's no doubt about that. And of the visitors Italy. Yes, you'd think they'd win. But whereas we're talking about them as opposed to being the top two fighting it out. So those straightforward the tool and they they won both of those fixtures. Two years ago when that wells, and I think that was not exactly complacency, but I think we're a little underestimated even as recently as that. That's certainly not going to be the case this time. And I think it's going to be tough for them. I say maybe two inns, but accounting woman that. Darren what's your view of the Scots all go there. Amongst other teams is is it going to be similar story when the strong Haiman week away. Yeah. Absolutely. Any any any wage? Murray show that'd be performed for any team. But the Scottish the club teams have been known very well there in both Edinburgh Glasgow into the quarterfinals, and Tom which is huge for them. Just would scarlet in team. They they tried to pay a real fast, emperor Gregor hands. And once he wants them to raise quickest will be in the world, they have Greg later on nine, and I just think that's glaring contradict and in if you want to pay fossil you need to have someone like price in there. Instead Leyla slow it, and he's not isn't lake well with been Russell, I just think nuts. Garland main reason give the gray let regularly locked he got injured. I think it'd be resolved. I think I would actually make them better is so there'd be as game on a grind turning to franc's. It's one of the biggest cliches in sport about their unpredictability. But I'm sitting in now three days before the tournament. Auburn what to expect? What can we expect for fringe? We're not going to call them a Curial. We're not going to say French turn up, and then we say because just kind of got away from it. And this is a team who started twenty eight hundred new coach no one knew it was gonna happen. You don't even you know in this job two weeks, and they come close. To beating Ireland of any team in on it was an incredible comeback for two maintenance that first win and they ended the the losing unto Fiji. I think the FRANZ team. So reflects their league reflects the top fourteen where we see there's a lot of flare there's brilliance until fourteen, but there's a lot of slow lumbering rugby it's very gritty as it's a real grind. Sometimes. And in the first decade, if you live this entry, plus that's the way rugby was it was about defensive about big packs, but things have moved on New Zealand of kind of lead the way in the show that you know, you win things by scoring tries but by taking chances and the six nations is catching up the last couple of years. We've seen more tries than than than in the past. I don't think France is still stuck in out. So when it suits them when they've got the conditions or the opposition, you know, they'll they'll fashioned a win. But I think they're being a bit left behind French just noticed before we came on the best awry is is not in the French squad for Friday night, and they're going with maybe feel very old actually nineteen. Year old Redmond and tobacco. Remember, his father Emile playing for playing for France, many moons ago. So it may be something change of emphasis, they're not going with the battering ram sued. You know, in the sense of maybe a bit more traditional French oil and flare do you think? Yeah. Absolutely. I mean, I think one of the things that I found quite interesting looking at France for this tournament because there are elements that are that you can get quite excited about they've got some talented young players light Roma in coming through. They've got a young coming through as well whose name is. Just escaping me at the moment. Denver Bamba and the two of them one the ru- the under twenty rugby World Cup for France last year. They're very exciting. Young players coming through Francis away record is shocking. I think the run of away defeats it's like seven or eight in a row something like that. They've lost sixteen of their last nineteen away matches. So Oviously home games are going to be key. But I think one of the big issues with this France team is you look down the squad in Yukon nail down too many positions. You're not entirely sure. Who's going to be starting at nine who's going to be starting at ten you look through that back line and wings food at you. You're looking at their team. And you'll think like I could see a completely different team in round five to round one. No one. There aren't too many players in the of absolutely stumped their name on the show, and that allows them to take chances give young players an opportunity and someone can come in absolutely set the world on fire. We saw that with teddy Toma last year. Absolutely unbelievable play. He's going to be a big loss in this tournament. And I just I look at that squads, and it's less which from. Is going to turn up for me this year? It's who is going to turn up to play four fronts. I don't actually look a look of that squadron thing. Oh, yeah. I can see how this tournament is going to pan out for them. Go one of a million ways. Darren what about you? They almost put a spoke in your your grand slam will I stop loss season. But then they had a mediocre campaign one earth. Do you do how do you treat? It seem France when you were approaching this stolen from a betting angle as much as anything else, you expect them to turn up at home who when they go away under factor in or accurate there as you alluded to Bossio he's been left moving then that's the signal and Air France, Linda, pay loser, be known very well up working and they've had a bit of the burns old friends play them do the fares in in named in the team use a med Dr and tomorrow. Having on on the disperse off the run with Morgan car that I think similar to the Scotland indata mistake on bring dot creek. And that they need that they like game. And also, right. I think the forecast for this Friday's and the best so thing this it's Bonsor road might not be the best idea against while that go into it if a grind, it don't really have the fires for for for four grinds. I think growing lost. But by no, means least we do have to discuss the Italians where we expected them probably to struggle again. Sergio Theresa fantastic play both things the losing most tune in rugby history, which is unfortunate for him. Can they do anything? We'll be talking in particular game where we think we might have a chance here because that's not going to win the tournament. But they can may be upset. One of the other teams do see doing that. Then Italy play the bestest usually the first matchup home. Which I haven't got this year. Scotland away is going to be a tough start. I mean, I feel desperately for Ari shy. Is he's doing so much good work with Italy. And he's brought them on so much. You know, they're scoring tries. They're not just going out and thinking damage-limitation every time that playing well, they're putting you know moves together. But I think everyone else's moving ahead. And even I the right. So you know, he's he's moving forward. Step by step. We're getting further and further behind if you like his job is overall so supremo of Italian run. So he's looking off to the clubs Benetton zebra who and Benetton doing what in the pro fourteen says definite progress being made the scoring more tries allow, unfortunately Matto Nazi as one of the funds of the season last year that fullback had a tremendous. He's nothing he was actually nominated for player of the tournament. He's in which is a great shame. By would like to see them do. Well, I'd like to see them. So take chances and attack a done thing though in a game, if they do, well, we'll talk individual matches later, maybe France home lost up if the French have come away. I think that's the best John's stirs. Sure, it's important. It's do up some resistance in these games as those can be a long hard winter for them again on on the back of several difficult winters grind mentioned FRANZ loss game at home is a potential upset. Do you see them? Do you see that is the best Sean winning game this season? Do you think they could surprise Scotland on Saturday? They almost did at home last season in the. Yeah, I think I mean, it was interesting earlier this week. I think it was great lay Lewis said Scotland are the one team that Italy always think they've got a chance against so I think they'll be very up for that game. As grand also said, I think the Italy France game at the end of the tournament could be to use a racing expression there go Cup. You know that could be the game that from the beginning. That's how getting you've go the distinct possibility. The by the time round five comes around France around with contention. There's a lack of motivation in the French squad. We've already mentioned how poorly they travel is in Rome and. It could be the game that they're targeting from the beginning of the tournament and go and right. We'll give everything we've got against Scotland we don't really expect to beat the big three, and we are going to wear going to look at that France game. And and that's the game. We're going to try and peak for because Italy have often petered out of these tournaments. And I think the thing with Italy. And the problem that they're going to find now because this tournament has become so competitive seems have worked out the if there isn't a grand slam is gonna come down two points difference, and they need to unload on to the to try and try and rack up and get the get their points difference as big as possible in that one game. So then you just need to focus on playing test match rugby, and the others, and that's going to be where where these matches sort of can be very tough on Italy. They tend to hold their own for the first sixty minutes. And then we'll it will be interesting to see if they're able to solve. Push teams deeper into matches keep games close. Then team. We're just have to close the game out if they get into a situation where teams can just rack up go for bonus points on them. It could be a very long six nations virtually Darren would you agree with the boys? Would you say France in the final game is Italy's best chance of getting some points on the board this season? Yeah. Absolutely. Absolutely. I looking through all the games there. See price them up myself. So I'm it's hard to say that rooms wrong. But that's the one that aimed at France, rated the foreign men and Italy Italy will be organs blazing for that one that wants to bring some kind of man or its world of that was the woman anger identified as a potential settlement cards there. And as Graham leaves me, Nazis, a huge loss for them escorts advisor in lawsuits nation, and he just walked up bit of Blair's. They're lowering and mccully company Rosbach for them. He was missing for the six nations campaign. He's a huge player for them as us. So he he on step up the bite there. But I think to Sergio breeze as unto he's dead know that he's he's not an influential figures that you want was there is some good buyers in the back line like Nagara who who will be able to come up with big moments. But I just don't think though, they'll have no from they will get blown away. I'm afraid we're gonna go. Get your break enough to that. We can come back and talk about some of the games fully potty power on Snapchat. The username is the Patty power, and we promised there wouldn't be any boring. Snaps about gigs. The weather all the gym. We go to mouth-watering clash on Saturday. You told him in Dublin with all Ireland facing England's Darren could you give us the prices, please. Yes. Sure. You handy cups. Currently Arlen minus nine evens either side there unhandy sixteen on the mock Todd's are under three to ten England or three rows empty to to turn. I would you play this game. Do you think is comfortable home win? Do you think's going to be difficult? Do you think it being close or do you think you know, the tide will will Rhode England over? I I've been home in knowing about this one bears. I think the only cop looks looks about right to me. And I think as as we've alluded to our start six-nation slowly book. England's forum isn't was I just don't think I'll have enough going into this game. We Live Aid a strong fifty nothing. They know will do the job. Yeah. I think our will this despite ISIS this game grind English English team very much going as underdogs to Dublin. I haven't been up to like love on Holland for the previous three seasons but Jiting Nelson's play with freedom. Everyone would be writing off does that make them dangerous in could you see a potential upset or is it easy home win for you? Don't use an easy home win unlit to the handicapped. It's the biggest handicapping Linda had in Dublin and Saint very big now it depends on how the play. I mean, you you say, well, we'll we'll chance there. I don't think they will. I think this is always being tight clash the last three matches of of seasonally like two tries in total both good bile. And incidentally, but the first round of the tournament. Everyone's you know, finding that way a bit. This is the big emphasis on defense in the first round is about not throwing it away. You know, the fifth round fund or I might be all about getting you fully tries or whatever. But the first round is about standing firm that defense. Joe Schmidt was quite interesting. I was hearing. Him token. This nation's launch about what is successful year on tiny said we have lost quarter matches. We throw it away. You know, we can see soft tries to England. And I think when that's his main concern going into a match you get the feeling that's where the focus is going to be. It's going to be on tightening up in defense holding out for eighteen minutes. I say this is a low scoring game which could make nine point handicap the big, but because the idea is so much more settled. And I think England not going to be just a little bit shakey footing. I'd go for an all Ireland win by say wants twelve points and of going to England defense coach John Mitchell being but not this week saying Arlanda going to boring Linden submission. They tactics, but they work very well. The very hard to defend against an again. Do you see this is a home banker will g think England can go over there and do something? Yeah. I mean, it's one of those as much as honest defense is incredibly effective nullifying. They shot museum. I mean, they schooled vastly more points in six nations than anyone else. So you know, it's sort of call them for their great with the bull. That defense is arguably makes the other team look boring because they just completely shut them down. I think the thing with this game is. Is going into this match. It kind of feels like it's a very pivotal game for Ireland in terms of if they're gonna if they're gonna win the grand slam then this England, I stop we've talked about slow starts before. It's a winner all costs game this. They've got to win it. And that will be the focus. I don't see them. So yeah, we'll rack up on England. I don't see that being the case too. I think nine is very very generous line. And so, yeah, I would be siding with England on the handicap almond at home that squads that depth. I think they probably probably edge it. But I mean as we said one to twelve points. Yeah. I mean, the thing the thing with it is I can see I can see England causing an upset given how slowly on to start in the past. So I would be backing England on the handicapped. Okay. Now darren. There is a really interesting Saad is having scored in the Viva stadium since ninety eight. So I think. Think that's why the dishonest copies is near near Dogo Fager, if our notify England back Artem rare be able to get the points. And by the way, the kickoff in France on Friday nights with the French versus Wales match. I must have been hard won to set the handicap four. Yeah. We're sitting on the fence. This were we've made a described gay you ma'am, so seasons either side in both mock Mohani market under draws fourteen on a kind of just soared. So we expected to be really really tough game. A bit of a grind the weather was passing grade. So it could just get into aching bottle. I wouldn't be surprised to ski to you're really low scoreline here. Maybe something under twenty points. It. That's what that's what I'm predicting now and growing what about into the Welsh go and win in Paris. Or is it going to be tricky for them? Offensive to win it. However, Darren said, I think it has has the makings of a real grind an an a tough guy. I don't think that both the White House. Like, we said before they have won two of the last three, and we're very unlucky to lose that one two years ago. And then they've got the incentive going off. I think the goal is to the south of FRANZ to prepare that before heading to Italy. So they're putting another store in this guy. I think really really focused every X wells international you here on the right person yet if we beat France, we win the grand slam they they've got all eyes on this game. And I think the intensity and focus they bring to it could just edged for them. Sure. Massive carat for Wales in the fact that they play Italy second. So I was Graham said putting a little store in this match. Did they win this and win the second game in go right through the tournament. It's tough. I think I don't know. I don't know if they do win. I think France are a different proposition at home. I think the as much as we've talked about everyone else ready being up for its auditing. Their first game fronts is going to be doing exactly the same thing. You know, they've been a powerhouse of of European rugby, especially a club level for for a long time, and the international team has sort of being overlooked, maybe left behind, and I think the fat you gonna have weather conditions in their favor for playing that big dominant pack and slow -ffective rugby. They draw penalties they kick. Well, who the they've got a number of good kickers whoever's on kicking juicy. We'll we'll keep them in the game and a conceive fronts really pushing Wales close, and I can actually see them winning this in the final game in the weekends is Scotland initially that's all about the handicap line, isn't it wolf. V set for Scotland. Yes, called nerd four point favorites in this one again again as he signs bear, ROY you say if if I was looking for a best in this market, though, I'd be looking for its first Hof on behalf and maybe looking at the books there as we find the main to promote strong and fade in the latter stages of vote the game on permanent. So I if are looking for an angle there I'd be off into if we both the first off on growing somebody put some money in your hand and gives you bet on the handicapped, would you go to Scotland to cover that twenty four points. Or would you go with Italy to defend that? I'm leaning towards Italy on handicap DARREN'S play the halftime handicap is actually that sounds very sound move as well. I mean, it's a big handicap to cover of Asli they're attacking game of stepped-up. They've only beaten Italy bun by more than that. I think once they won twenty nine new two seasons ago. Now, can I see it elite league being nibbled again? I don't think I can that. They've they've opened their game up and that they're playing with with more kind of flare less pressure to defend if you like, and so I mean, they've only go to get fifteen points on the board which is about the average in Scotland to go to get forty to cover that line. So I would go for Italy on on the handicap their sometimes you're always lights up when you see it's the you playing Italy is a punch or anything. We'll Scotland no put loads of points on them. They have to get into the tournament. But it doesn't always work out that way. So would you be plus twenty four or you know for Scotland all we would you be in Italy's camp? I think it'd be in Italy's camp on the handicapped for two reasons firstly, I mean, there was only two points in the reverse. Victor in Rome last year and Scotland came into large their six nations with a you know, a wave of positivity behind them and absolutely flopped out the gates. So I think the most important thing for Scotland is everyone wants Italy and everyone wants to rack up today. But I actually think I up you need to win you need to win your first match. And so I think Scotland will be focusing on on winning the game more so than they'll be focusing on we need to rack up points on Italy because we need to boost the point difference. And I just. To me. I can see them not covering the line bus leave more than I can see them covering. I they can do it capable of it. They've got some great backs and a lot of talent out there. But first six nations the pressure that they're under the expectation. I think they take very practical approach, and I don't think they probably think they don't cover twenty four points. Okay. Moving onto round sue just picking out. The what looks to be the pick of the fixtures is Scotland against orlands done. If you've got prices for that state. You've you've got prices for the later rounds who games yet. We do you. Do we have all fifteen games price though for that Scotland Ireland game Arlanda going Murrayfield six point favorites in the March odds their fourth mine with Scotland school? Like the algae. You said I think it'd be a huge stain Farland. They're going over there Oscar losing their two two years ago. So they're going to be looking to right that wrong. And I think frame mentioned earlier the names Osu's is v. He's going to be used off. Maybe not so much in this Dahlan this FEMA, but he is the be awesome. These bay tight games when he can get into turn overs. You can get quick ball for Scotland and growing Scotland Ireland again all in came unstuck two seasons ago, my refill to see winning this game. And is there a bet the you know, we could profit from in it a fence ya'll into job in this one member that game two years ago. I tiptoed does what ching the beginning of it and Scott scrums gone backwards. And I thought this is all over and somehow it's gonna come back into the play very, well, not take any life. But. Island. I think we'll just have to be too much power and precision. Then they're kicking guy fund a lot of territory on scholar missing a lot of foods from that pack, and if you look in the autumn they lost on South Africa. They they really out muscled by South African pack. Get why was in England both beat South Africa home. It wasn't a great spring team. And I think when they're up against really powerful packs with a sense of purpose in a strong game plan. I think they could come on stuck in our all Irish win. Maybe one twelve points that kind of thing I seen newest at wants to appoint hitting shots, like a six handicap do thing they could win by more than school definitely stood. What about you? Quoting dr. Yeah. I mean Graham says the Scotland's main weakness is when they come up against big powerful packs, but you know, I think the game the iheart back to for this eight kinda has the feel in Scotland's program of being version of the Calcutta Cup match from last year's tournament. Obviously England was always the big game for Scotland. But that comes at the end of the tournament, and it's at Twickenham this year. This is of a massive match at Murrayfield the they can really be up for and that that game against England last year. The Dow absolutely deserve to win that it was a hell of a performance. They've got that in them. I think Arlen six points on the road. I've I like Scotland for this. I think they're going to do. Well, I can see them upsetting one of these teams. So in that sense. I think having six points in your favor is a might be siding with Scotland. But at the same time on a such a strong team, and it's going to be very hard. I would probably side with Scotland's in this situation. But as you can probably guess, I'm sitting on the fence here slightly. It's not a bullish competent enough. Let's go around three Daren. I think the pick of the fixtures in this this around looks to be wells against England's England one at Twickenham losses, but not by much and there's a debate to try the whales did or didn't school. They weren't far away with home advantage. You think the Welsh will win this time? Yeah. Where whales their free point favorites for this game? If if if our tobacco by the side of that, I think it'd be whereas they've got a if you've got off on I start against France. And then it'd be they've the week we often between this. They can backfield over this. When I see and the guy I if if our free best there, I'd be bucking the miners Graham out juicy discussing said offensive wasn't this'll be the first hung gain. Which is always big for them. And with change in the first two rounds who see but England won the last two in code if but I think they left it late last. I'm no, then they would they were being well beaten until the final five minutes was we'll come at them strong. I fancy was. Stood. You said that you you possibly saw an upset with England guns. Doubling the weekend. They've got to go to Cardiff after that. It's not easy for them. But do you see another upset here or do you? See you taking a home win. No, I see well winning this. And I say well as winning this quite comfortably. I think one of the things that's quite interesting. You go back to that game at Twickenham last year. Looking at the the Wales backline that day, obviously, well has lost the game. But they had Reese will at ten they had Steph Evans and Josh Adams on the wing and the head guy fans fullback that is a makeshift backline of an. They'll be a much they'll be putting out a much stronger team against England's this year. And I think they'll have too much for them, especially home in sort of either way the first weekend goes if the beat France and they're on a row they become an intimidating opponent. If they if they lose to France and then this becomes their their tournament. Really? Like, if they if they lose the first two games, they are out of it. So either way is going to be a big match for Wales and delivering I think they cover that handicapped quite comfortable Darren Jones around four Scotland Wales looks as though it's going to be a cracker. If Wales are still, you know three hour three of that stage. They probably went fancy a trip to Murrayfield certainly won't be easy. However, you got the betting in in the Andy handicap on on that match. Yeah. Really interesting tie. This one Scotland are currently one point favorites. But I expect that handicap kind of edgy as tournament goes on. I if Wales of won their first three games, they'll probably go David says. So that's definitely won't eat Noyon grime. It's really difficult to judge sitting in, you know, a few weeks away from this particular going often, it will all depend on how they each team owner first three rounds, but looking at this stage Scotland Wales would you expect Wales to be too strong for Scotland? Or would you see there's a real banana-skin for the Welsh? Offensive site both. But we talked about was is injuries. I think a lot of players will be coming back. So I spent whilst to get stronger as tournament goes on plays lightly half concussion issue. Let's just a matter of time really, isn't it. And so they will get stronger. I'm pretty sure even if they do slip up in FRANZ, they've got real sort of drive in them to get better. So this state are pretty would back wires. And then we'll just have to see, you know, we might be only value that if the handicapped goes -nificant the other way. What would you expect to happen in this game? Yeah. I mean, I can I can see Scotland winning this game. I think it's the sort of match up the quite suit Scotland Wales absolutely hunt them outside the principality stadium. I up last year, but I think Scotland at Murrayfield or a very different proposition as we said. They just didn't they'd never turned up. Yeah. Getting on the pitch and what's interesting as well. As the two teams have very similar sort of progression through the tournament. They both play it till the very early. So the first and second up there playing Italy. So it's not the tournament then becomes quite attritional for both teams. It's one of those whereby. But if you get Italy round three around for you, kind kinda get bit of a break, you know. That's what happens for Ireland's in you know, you can get some squad rotation and freshness. And people are actually this is going to think what's going to decide this game. And it's why it's hard to comment on now is injuries will have a huge impact on these games because these are two of the squad's the starting fifteen excellent, but they may be lack some of the depth of of almonds and an England. So. So much of what's happened before? In terms of injuries is gonna play play a factor in this match. Shop wouldn't really want to call it either way if they were playing first week up Murrayfield, I would Francis Collins. Okay, now Darren Rams fallen we would like to say a blockbuster grand, slam decider. We don't always get one. After is to be one this season. It might well come into the shape of Wales and all that they can get three the first four matches unscathed that still looks very good game on his own Royds. Anyway, wells Auden what have you got the line at? Yes. And the lines currently in Ireland minus three as we've kind of mentioned with the other games. It's it's hard to all is far. What who will be blamed for walk book? In this scenario that way is are paying for a six nations or feign for a grand slam even you'd probably be back in the book or either discuss ways. Whereas in of this another day, another beasts there, so. Yeah, it it's a tricky one. Rotate. Yeah. If I have a best this far as probably be bucking the whales post breeding seen as I do like them for vital and Grimes. We guys around fall you've dwells on the next to you expect on either of those teams to have won. I four games or do you think this is a match for the six nations role than the grand slam disorder? The the tricky when they're supposed to cool is is the Oakland for a while. I was in France. But we could end up with Sarah mentioned twenty thirteen earlier wells lost their first game one the next three England one for so it was a grand slam on the line for England title for Wales, and we could see as a similar thing. Then it depends of interest is because otherwise huge value that day to be England because they were out England such officially short price because of all the grand slam money identified underpin that well back to the we'll be able to pick up a good price about the home win. I get the feeling there's a lot of money for Wales as well in in the outright. So perhaps that way and distort the match betting so much while I was at home fun game. I think. You do fancy them. And I think they could they could win that. But obviously we got long way to go before. Then. True at the end of the day. I mean, Wales are interesting and. Like we said with the previous round of matches. This all comes down to squad depth really at this stage on and do have a deeper, squads them wells. I think anyone speaking there. And I think that moves me in our Lund's favor. Obviously if we get to this point and we haven't had injuries. It's a completely different kettle of fish. But realistically, I'm expecting there to be some injuries by this stage. I think Arlen have deeper squad of the to the point Graham made earlier about the fact that whales are sort of getting reinforcements throughout this tournament. Could be the thing that swings. It back in Wales favor in the players lightly. Half penny could be back for this game. Whilst not being available at the star. It all ends up to you going around around in circles, it's very hard to come this far off. I would think orlands of better team. And I think they've got the deeper squad. So if you make me decide now aside with Ireland's, but yeah, I mean, it's it could it could be a cracker of again Darren just quickly. What have you been? Taking money for which which markets been popular. It's going to be difficult for any side to win the grand slam. So there's not being, you know, something that has hasn't attracted much money compared to maybe other other markets every early on the IRO received decent sped of money because because Arnold are. So sure that maybe not as popular as as they have been in the past. We have seen a good balance of money on then for Wales and Scotland as well, and they ain't goin'. So it's been we've seen very very balanced us after the right, okay. We're gonna go to breaking off towards we're gonna give our best special bets for the tournament. Success ain't turned its board. That's why Poti power we pay the big bucks for the best technology in the world to develop our new fastest ever app. Download the new app in the app store or place Donau eighteen plus become the Taryn Patty power of a fantastic array of special bets for this ornament. You can bet on virtually anything you could you could imagine of you go maybe a couple of forest. You'd like yourself ever in the top try scorer, Mark where offering a massive seven bases fifth that compared to generations are off before faces for be very very generous here. So obviously there's going to be a bit of value in in this market for me, personally, Rory best I think there's is out there by fifty two where sixty six to one on this. And he is going to be at the Bachmann Irish mole who are getting over the line on a as you seem Shawn Cronin for Leinster. And he's already big up. Six toys in champion scope, our best is gonna be at the simmered strength, more hair. So I I just think he's he's a great each way back. No, martha. And if you're looking at a slight lead more realistic chance of winning dogfights remark look bidding believing Foley week fairly priced at thirty three hundred fifty one available enough. And if you can go injured injury for us. But it'd be England ebayer he's going to be at the boxer scrum one on one with with. And as you saw in the Glasgow game. He'll just run over them. So I think these kraken battle markets grime Obse, you're doing this for the racing post pullout coming up, can you give us a few snippets of the way, you're thinking in the specialist markets. Yes. Interesting to hearing about the try-scorer market because we're all your best showing Cronin. You know, pretty come off the bench. They're interesting one hook is in general interesting in this market cermac Anneli of Scotland is backed a few. I don't know if he's going to be playing gained Gerardo, the French Hooker. He's got full internationals where they come from. Maybe look to the rest of his team. Or no one else is going to do. I'm going to have to do it. But. It's a bit difficult at the moment. 'cause we don't know with a lot of teams who's going to be lining up specially in the back three and that especially to wiles defense. He limb Williams if he's fit again to do. Well, he did well in the autumn three tries. He's in good form Saracens. He's got broken fingers at the moment. Now, he might just struck nothing out and play even if he misses the France game. I don't think that's the in the world because I think we've sort of said that's going to be a bit of a low scoring grind it will have in fresh for Italy the following week. So he's quite an interesting one to look at. I mentioned gear out of the French Hooker. Another interesting again, we don't know how FRANZ going to line lineup. Gail figure is back in the squad. Don't you get into the centers where he normally plays? But he might just get a place on the wing. And if he does he's called little tries in the six nations. He could go inventory FRANZ. Try scorer Robinson tiny thing. Francois score loaded tries again, that's quite good. Because I need to get two or three to be nations. Top try scorer, sure. Sure. Great. Brett tha markets from from Patty Paramus specials here the demos be something in there. That's this attracting lately talking of the individual nation top try scorer markets, Stuart Hogg for Scotland. Caught my eye. There's a a theory here. Well, it's not so much theory. It's more the Brian adrift school factor. Repeated so obviously went show. Hope I came into the Scotland same much like barn address. Go set well rugby ally. Scored a lot of tries then teams when well we just need to double treble. Mark him out of the game. Then football Driscoll. What happened? First of all was Jordan Murphy came in fullback, he had then an option on one side, then when Gordon D'Arcy came into the team, and he had a seriously talented open-field runner on his inside as well. A threat on both sides of Brian Driscoll meant he had teams had to give him more space because they couldn't just load up on him. And I think Hugh Jones does the same thing for Stuart Hoke hoax had some decent wingers outside him for a while. Now. It's got none have some actual depth on the wing and that helped hope but teams because they're outside him you can just drift from Hogue onto them the family. Hugh Jones told the six nations up last year. He was incredible. And it's has seemed to adjust. They have to play to stop Hugh Jones just walking through them. And the reason there was such a big gap for Hugh Jones is because everyone was so keen to load up on the fact that they're going to have to pay huge owns more respect makes more space for how you give that guy half an inch. And he can do amazing things with it. So yes, Stewart Hogue in the Scotland top try scorer market. I think is a cracking. And I wouldn't put anyone off playing him in the tournament top try scorer market either. One question to each year before we get you'll naps taranova chief I who wins the tournaments and Willoughby grand slam. Just two words, Wales and grim. Probably all in the prices. Say while I was no stood. What Graham said probably on the prices Wales. And no, okay. So we're moving towards naps time will not be Darren over to you. We're gonna start. What's your best bet? What is your nap of the tournament might not have tournament is Greg Laidlaw in the six nations score, I know kind of rift into him abyss earlier and said he shouldn't be sorry for Scotland. But he will be. He's Thompson though, I think he's were seven to one on him in this market end to one of eight was not brilliant bad mainly because sex and on fire front market is injury. From turns around them than the Welsh is going to be missing the risk of games. But you look for men, and they'll be taking the kicks there. Then you're looking more IRA now are usually like going for the France. And this. Market. They've won the top point scoring last days being Franks, which is really interesting, but I just think would do on sir on uneven national fancy combat in their power is not fail the game. So I just think Begley laws that'd be the main say there. So that's why he's might not burn burn my cheering. You'll net. I'm gonna go most straightforward the top of the table. I think why it was an island in other over. So that you focused whereas all and I said, probably all and you could get bigger price for Alamos rightful kospi sickie for house actually, do it. So I think it's about five to two that you'll focused and the final workers to you. My not of the tournament is also Greg light. Oh in the top point scorer market. I is one of those it looks right for it. As we've highlighted France wanted the last twice, but you can have absolutely no confidence who's going to be kicking goes for them. Or if it's going to be the same person throughout the tournament. It's the same with Wales, you're not quite sure who's going to be starting at fly-half. And whoever gets the north is probably going to be replaced by half penny halfway through Jani Sexton has injuried out plus Joey Comrie is forcing his way out of that massive shadow. He's gonna get some game time, and he could even start against Italy. So that makes it hard for Sexton. That leaves you Farrell at the head of the market, and he is an obvious. Shout. He deserves to be favor. I think the thing for Farrell is one is carrying the injury into the tournament. Secondly, referees are going to be all over him in this tournament. He's showed a charging slash tackling is been under a lot of scrutiny, and he could miss time because referees are going to be watching him very closely Laidlaw is crucial to Scotland in terms of that game management, and he realistically alley prices fantastic player. But Greg Laidlaw is so of the beating heart of the Scotland same see missing too, many minutes and in if you narrow it down. So what was effectively co has the potential to be a two-horse race? He's a he's a ten to one show, and I just think that's a cracking price. We'll thank you Darren. Thank you, Stuart. And thank you Graham for this podcast. I so we have time for today. We are back with yet another one, and let me tell you. It's going to get exciting. I'm pretty sure we're going to have people yelling at each other on this particular topic with this particular news, Eddie Hearn has come out and said that Deontay wilder and Anthony Joshua might not take place until two thousand and twenty one. Now, I know all that you might be thinking it's Eddie swerving. But he's giving you reasons why he believes the fight won't happen to then due to Dion Wilders upcoming schedule. And we'll give you all the fights to Eddie Hearn believes will possibly roadblock wilder versus AJ unto at least twenty twenty one. So this is what we're going to be talking about. If you're interested, you know, the number to call in one four to five five six nine fifty to forty one you can add Nestor Gibbs on Skype to be part of the conversation. Let's get this thing started. So I'm gonna head on out to MacOS Helen from around the world. Production. Recei Botula dot com. Stand up. Which? Comeback dot com. Yoyo with everybody at the universe. Back with another one eighty earned makes headlines again says the watery ebony Joshua might not happen to twenty twenty one AOL April down some ways dead heaping despite Mike my held up the Ortiz fight a possibly Kornacki fight a mandatory jammed from Dillion, wait a trilogy went will not trilogy. You rematch Tyson fearing, it's all kind of things I am very Ables out there that could potentially hold fight up. But we'll break down and get into it a con what's going on, man. Good to see you, bro. Bochy was dot com. In my mind because I'm the best in the world. Ios up guys to be back. Yeah. Eddie Hannes come with, you know, he's essentially said while while wow, one thousand and twenty eight should basically looking two thousand twenty one because it's like what happened in two thousand twenty one. And with the mandatory in place, we have to remember that this fight the agents fighting now in June is actually a voluntary. So he's gonna have to have mandatory you can't hold onto four belts. And actually fight your mandatory. Otherwise, you will be stripped. So yeah, let's get into it. Strip out size inferior Tyson didn't get to defend his belts at all. As soon as the IB of called the mandatory he decided the person that they called as mandatory wasn't fit in worthy enough. So he vacated at least we need to respect AJ. You know, we complain that he's fighting these mandatory, but we would also complain had he'd be vacating titles picking and choosing. He's actually fighting everyone in and I do believe that that's going to be a huge hiccup. As this fight continues to linger and dare I say marinate, but the truth of the matter is may whether pack y'all both had separate subject areas. And that's what made that fight. So great both men were reckon into their respected opposition. So we only each other where their greatest foes, and that's all that's going to happen. I think right now AJ's going to go fi the guys that are available to him names like. Who seek and you can mention a few more while the women will fight the names that Eddie heard mentioned in his World Boxing. I mean in this I fell interview. Now, Eddie mentioned a trilogy, Mike. I don't know he got nervous and kind of retracted that, but he did mention a trilogy and look Eddie lies. But Ed he's been right before when Eddie said come knock, Ian and Luis Ortiz were industry rumor next opponents for wilder the more we probed the more we found out. That was true Eddie saying that it's coming down the pipeline that wilder fury are going to do a trilogy which is going to have him busy all the way into two thousand twenty one. So he'll fight Brazil. And then it'll be next Ortiz or could not be followed by Tyson fury. So I mean. Again, is sucks as a boxing fan. You know, we wanted the AJ. And I heard the audio on blue bloods interview. I mean, while does even saying because of the plan even if they come for fifty fifty he might not take because they got a plan. I'll say this before we went call in saying take control of your career, we interviewed Oscar de LA Hoya recently at podcast row inlaws Vegas, and he said fighters need promoters, they need promote the guide them. Set a path in the plan for them nothing. That's what they're doing. Now. They got a a a path in a plan for well during its not including Anthony, Joshua the moment. But you think about it? In comparison. If while does everything Eddie saying, not what I'm saying everything Eddie is saying if while the goes and fights Tyson fury, two more terms shoe more times, we got pathetically Sumi wins. Because before he gets to those fights. He's got to beat Lewis tease in Adam come knocking. So we're talking about beating still one of the most perceive dangerous heavyweights, then beating and up and coming contender heavyweight things that Josh was done with guys like Dominic Brazilian some of the other undefeated heavyweights he's for but then turning around and fighting again, top two or three or one numbered heavyweight in the division shoe more times how does Joshua compete with that discu. Sick bring him to the level of not. Does. You know, bring him to the level of terrific theory. And let's not forget before I pass it to you guys Eddie said DeLeon whites in the mix. So if Dillion is gonna fight wilder not AJ, how do they build his US profile? Meanwhile, while like wrecking ball knocking off top four opposition Tyson fury twice Luis Ortiz. Adam come not, I don't see this. As a bad thing. Show me. How agent compares competes with that four men schedule, and I say for because obviously Tyson would be to fights according to Eddie Hearn, and we're going to choose to believe him today. You're right NS bars. Have a question for you who wants to see a thirty six year old wildfire ager? Well, last I checked may whether was thirty six years old when he four pack. Yeah. Okay. But while they know dummy with O K. I don't know. I mean last I checked Bernard Hopkins is allegedly Ford into his fifties. And last night. Okay. Jota? So the by the black athlete himself kind of, you know, helped me here, Mike they like tests time, right? Like the. The only man look he was about to fight you one thing that that holds true. No matter what color your heavyweight are some of the the last fighters to to to be done because the power and their and their ability isn't known saying, well, their ability, isn't what do mother divisions. Are. They rely a lot on power so power last night. I go twenty twenty one you won't be thirty six thirty five. I don't know if twenty eight in twenty twenty. You you you muted big up on me. No, no, no. So. Like, my nigga you going in and out my own. Oh, no of going on. But look man I back back to the right quick. That sounds goodness with their whole theory. And in and Kornacki, Ortiz, even dealing white. That's a lot of fight for guy within a span a two years. I agree with the Ortiz and the and Ortiz fucking Kornak fight. But I I don't know if he'll fight both of them if he does he does. But the ferry fight. I wouldn't be mad about having the theory five because at something there that's been left over that. We haven't really got a conclusion to so him fighting very for rematch or even a trilogy is something that I wouldn't be opposed to now get into AJ what could do to keep yourself up. So at this time, he going to start knocking off some of these guys that that that that we whole well that I I wanna see him DeLeon rematch. I even wanna do. Why did? I you dope. Dope. I'm not trying to. I'm not spending team in. But you gotta stay within the realm of this reality in this interview. And Eddie said Dillian is gonna fight wilder are on any fair, but Eddie don't control the world and doing why he anything that. He wanted to do the right thing about dealing and give him a title shot other either tiny, and then a guy in your own state, again, if you wanna read the article, that's what he said Dillion is the number one contender. So he'll be fighting wilder as the mandatory. That's what he said has the WBZ came out there. Dude. Again, we're talking about a two year span fight plan. So he's telling he still there. He told you what three weeks ago didn't say Luke Campbell was gonna fight for the WBZ years. Like, these people know what's going on. There's a mandate dealing somebody mandatory by. Maybe my. Can do not after all this happened. Not after doing white his bashing the WBZ selling them that they need to you know, do right by him. He bashed them. And they still didn't do right by. They've still stood up to what they had said originally. Yes. Because that was already mandated, but that. Put someone else before im-. Now. That's what you're trying to say. I'm not put anybody before saying that they might put him in eliminating now. That's normally how goes no, it ain't normally how it goes eight for who reveal. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Brazil five Melena for for them. So Brazil won mandated to fight. Back to a free back out. Michael every mandatory challenger doesn't have to go through a title eliminated. Become a mandatory challenger. I mean, I don't know. Correct me if I'm wrong, and I'm not an I'm not being sarcastic dilute Campbell fight in the or that, I don't know about. Because now he's gonna fight for the WBZ and all the other bells sometime. Sometimes you don't have to go through and eliminate a every single time. Listen, these guys pick and choose by these guys I mean, sanctioning bodies. Obviously look into WBZ picking. Now, you know, that's a big fight with us seal. So they want to be part of it. But that doesn't mean that what they done is right? But while saying if Eddie harm room wants to keep flow give him the other white then do allow today with Ortiz. Come back that drug cheat get clean. That you're not gonna let me let you get through your sentence. What was dealing wi- argon about the he rather be the mandatory to wilder so the he don't have to give him a rematch. So he gets his fucking head. June first day. So that that me that tells me that you still want to smoke AJ he title shot. No matter if on. On the. Or the WB WBO ABI of oh. About things. Deleon wise said then we also know he said he would rather go the WBZ mandatory route 'cause he don't have to give anybody rematch. And then the fire where AJ would be bigger if it is possible for two AJ. Do you think he will wait for Ortiz? Kornacki. Dillion white turndown in AJ fight. This j fight. And. Fucking cutting out Brown. What's going on below? Yeah. The second action. But it's like here might turn down age. But he also was the one of the guys there was willing to take on short notice. I know as a day. He said that. But when he was offered the proprio time he said he needed a twenty week. He was three million dollars to no four million dollars. Okay. For a million dollars. The hills. He said he was happy with that. He just needed twenty weeks, drain. He said the first offer that came from Hearn was like three main offer. And he said if they really wanted to make the fight they would offer offer. I don't want to tell the truth. It's it's get old navy two days only this Saturday and Sunday. Get fifty percent off all dresses, all jumpsuits rampers. That's right. All dresses jumpsuits and robbers are on sale for fifty percent off Saturday and Sunday at old navy. It'll David dot com valid five eleven to five twelve excludes in store clearance. Get to old navy two days only this Saturday and Sunday. Get fifty percent off all dresses, all jumpsuits rampers. That's right. All dresses jumpsuits and robbers are on sale for fifty percent off Saturday and Sunday at old navy and old navy dot com. Valid five eleven to five twelve excludes in store clearance, heavily documented that Delia white said he got everything he was acting for. But then he fell AJ needed to do twenty weeks of fucking drug test and come on also heavily documented that he stated the first offer from AJ was so fucking poorer Eddie her and told him that because. I can't speak from. Talking point. No, you could speak. You just talking about first off like you you the one coming out here making oh, never take the first off famous. Now, you wanna talk about the I know talk about him say in an IOT fell interview. They were giving me everything I wanted. But at that point AJ twenty during an interview, he say any heard told AJ dealing right now, except that I offer in his whole thing was if you really wanted to make the fight with me, you went came out with Bush offered I would've came out with last you came out with and now three fucking months best that was his point. All right. But did he get what he wanted? Not everything what they're gonna get my twenty twenty weeks AJ to do drug testing. Hey. What he wanted as what he wanted. So so again, don't say that he was willing to step in because he wanted twenty weeks drug show. So so he wasn't any say on. KFI? Drug Tang doubt. He. Now, a sudden. We're going to step in on short notice. He was but anything that's not a US fight the UK fight hunger. Moving on to you too. I'm surprised that you ain't stick with it. I don't need to stick with. We're not talking about that. Now, we're talking about Dylan getting offered what he wanted and saying he wasn't going to accept it only because you keep saying something differently in your opening argument that different run saying what you're saying. But I'm not saying how you want me to say it. That's how it is. But how microphone going burn nowadays? I'm bad. Yes. There we go. Okay. Yeah. Guys, stand you hit about dealing. Why Fisher actually both right. They didn't why was willing to take AJ June. I also want to twenty weeks of testing dealing also wanted to hide very high payday to take that June. I fight. But let's go back to the fact that this wilder fights not happening anytime soon, and the reason why is actually saying this because while does come out and statements, and wow, they're five months into the year. Let's realize that we're. He left for gun. Chan what's going on with you? You gone. Those not service at this point like like your Mike keep up with ex slash but. Yeah, man, I kind of listen to you to Brady had after the point. Come at argument. But yeah. Merit. Nothing. Are you talking alot? Now, I can't hear it. So it just cuts out. That's so weird. And as you start you start of fine. And then you just go away guys. Good, man. The the the main thing is that there's a Jay and wanna fight. We all been thinking twenty twenty twenty twenty twenty twenty. But if the if everything any says happens, then that's a man might start trickling down that may weather and backyard thing, which we don't we don't. Bro. I just don't think that's a bad. When we try to use the Mayweather, Mayweather Pacquiao analogy or comparison to this fight people say, no, both those guys were pay per view stars. Well, right now, we have that opportunity right now while the did one pay per view AJ's just coming to get his home coming here in. Coming to America. Right. And they move. They both are going to simultaneously be building their US market while the has a slight advantage, but AJ brings in the ten seventeen thousand U K tickets. So he'll be always selling out. He'll be always selling out wilder. You gotta match them correctly to sell out. Oh, matching Lewis teasers got history matching Dominic Brazil. They got that history match coming out that he sells tickets. He's polling. He's you know, he's got his own backing, but AJ he's going to be bringing the people plus his American audience. And I think it's good. I think they'll both built look do. I want it right now. Yeah. We all do we all do. But you know, history shows is that it takes a little bit more time just a little bit more time. Can we get it? Yeah. Maybe John skipper wants that bad. But it's obvious. I gotta admit it's obvious that while during his team have other plans, they got other plans. Unfortunately, real quick we got six hundred and twenty watching. So that means I need six hundred twenty times up if he's like what you're hearing. If you mess with the show, if you like what we're doing every morning, go into the bug man helps us grow get more, visible and helps go more places can do more things that we did last week. But what do you think the team is trying to do do you think that they're trying to like salute five that that that that Eisai position as? I mean, if they are are they doing similar early. I don't know. I mean. Three back to back. No. But yes, you are doing what else Spencer's doing you're. You're you you've created your own lane. It's just a it's just the truth, and may whether impact cow existed this way, Mike, I mean, look while there has Dominic Brazil in may who do you think is next is it or TS after Brazil billing, then you've got Brazil? I mean or tease next then what the Kornacki probably December time Kolonaki now. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. You say in Brazil after the may. I mean, you're saying t's after the may fight. When are you putting that together? That's gotta be like November May June July August September. He's already fighting in may Chan I'm saying May June July August September. I will I go again as water ain't fall all the first half. You're saying while they're in may eighteen then come back Tembo. With tease, then come back December. Maybe january. Maybe maybe January everywhere. I would like to see them more active this year. He's not fall to may of this year. We haven't seen him in the rain since December, which is not as fun because him and ferry word negotiating and one guy backed out of the fucking rematch. So you're saying cov- Nakae while the January. So when's the when's the fury while the rematch? You gotta set it for the summertime instead of business. You have Senate summertime 'cause I I don't think they wanna put the very fight in between like the Super Bowl or March madness. So you wanna do like around this time right here. When when when sports season starts down with keep in mind, you're giving wilder a lot of fights before fury fury. Only said he wants to tune-ups. He's got Tom what's in June? Then. Another tuna in no disrespect to. But you know, what I'm saying Brazil? I don't see that probably going going that far tease is going to be a little bit more competitive, and there's a spec again. No disrespect. I don't call Nike. I just don't think he's he's there yet. He's going to get there. But I don't think he's there yet and getting the rain water and being he said, well we training camp. And he going to beat while. That's why you know, he knows he knows he likes that fight. You can give nigger you can give them twenty four weeks. I don't think it'd be wilder. He just he just not tall enough. And my opinion doesn't have the reach wasn't won't probably probably won't be able to get inside on water. And when he tried to get in that jab and right hand come down to my sources close to the camp. So me Andy Ruis. So the AJ. Fight because all he really had on the table was Adam Cup knocking. Who was definite? Because and by area. Right. Well, possibly he's supposed to get it easy fight because he's just waiting. He's waiting for the while the fight. So that's what it is. So it's like he's waiting for the way out of. So look. You you talked to a more than I did. Because I I wrote up calls out cover Nakae. So obviously he was instructed to. Knock you gotta accept but could not got that possible while the fight. So do you go into Andy Reese fight this stuff, or do you take an aerial the fight in between maybe on undercard awhile fury? I mean of while Brazil or while the fury or whatever wherever they gonna put it at. And then get that. While the fight because he's in line in terms of in-house opposition the way that six in line the way the DeLeon is in line. The way the flip Hargrove ich will be in line the minute. He starts buzzing the way hunter was because from the amateurs for the big fight. You know? The way that it works. The damage but big tobacco hotter. I was trying to use a baseball analogy yard. League believe here. Oh, I think Kornacki man, I really liked ADEMA pressure. I like everything about him. I just don't think that this. This division is tough, man. The only could be like one or two people that the claiming thrown, and I just think if Adam I know he wants to show I know he wants to bed, but. Get a little bit more. Tune in man. You don't want it bad? Remember, you know. They are not rushing. Not rushing. But. If they get one more fight, and then a twelve week can't they think they ready like you see power, but remember other people see flows. That's while say people think I'm gonna bump till they get in there. And there's a different story. So, you know, maybe that's Adam. Maybe he's looking at this dude is mad while I'm coming straight down the middle. I just need to train hall 'cause I'm punches out of nonstop. He ain't gonna scare me. And that's what a lot of people think. But then it's like Tyson said to get punched in the face. You had that game plan. You thought you was gone swath him with punches until you. Opponents and Josh. You gotta remember SPN does have co pair of them. No matter what. Article. But that I mean, he mentioned can pull that doesn't do it for the US. You you talking to dudes Gillian where you at Mr White. No one knows it fix. Yeah. And he's talking about both of them. Do don't like who are those like, please, please. I know, but he is being. You know is going push this. But that's a mandatory. That's why he's mentioned in it and Zachary exactly so Bob, it's gonna push in Pali trying to outbid I'll be any get pulled up in Joshua on his network. I don't know if they'll do it with this guy. I don't know if John skipper will allow design to be outbid by four a AJ fight because brain though, Bob. Bob Anders on on the pressure to deliver. You know, what I'm saying like who's under more pressure? Do the left ESPN to lose a purse bit to ESPN which flagship fighter. He's he's the flagship fighter. If you use the purse bid to ESPN you have failed. He he's one of the one of the facts, you fighters, I feel right? He got shares in the company, man. Yeah. But he's not gonna love him. Hey, man, Eddie got shares. They in it for the long haul. But he's on a fight the fight basis with his own because he's a great businessman. He knows that this paper us, he gotta make the same wanna do with friendship is all business is not. But if anything he's able to fight on ESPN in Bob is willing to pay. Why not let the guy come over ESPN? Get more exposure didn't go back to a I don't disagree with you. I just don't agree that that John skipper will lose a purse bid for AJ fight to ESPN his former employer. You gotta thing though, Negga strategically how many people would fucking Cooper going into the bye. Exactly why you don't use the purse bid. I mean, how much money you think about how much money you think? Bob is going put down as his purse for this for his bid for this knowing that's poulet. No, the viewership that just did knowing that pull got that scandal sex scandal going around where he's a aggressively force forcefully kissing women who, you know, there are other stories out there in other videos that paint her in a different light. But it doesn't matter. We gotta realize like she could be too old navy. Today's only this Saturday and Sunday get fifty percent off all dresses, all jumpsuits all wrong purse. And that's right. I'll dresses jumpsuits and robbers are on sale for fifty percent off Saturday and Sunday at old navy at all day dot com. Valid five eleven to five twelve exclusive store clearance, Google pixel fans. Excludes taxes, surcharges, roaming, speed maximums use rules and restrictions apply. The she could be lap-dancing you all night, if she don't want you to kiss us. She don't want to kiss a no still me. No. So like people can put out on video she want like that's just how it is for women. They get it that way. So who have got a lot of dirt that maybe ESPN doesn't wanna bring the light right now. Maybe they do wanna lose a purse bid just saying I understand that. But. I still think that if you're John skipper. You don't you don't waste money on co Pula in and Joshua on his own. You you AJ go for one fight take care of business. Get his exposure his his his brand up and get a little patch of others on on his shorts saying and sell it like that they want. They man I agree with you or your back. What's up Akon guys talk bad now stone of making an investment in AJ by giving him a career high payday, right? There's no way that that then going to say, okay, we'll give you a career high payday MSG headline. And now we're gonna just allow to ESPN they're gonna wanna build on that even if. Let me add this. Just to play devil's advocate where with Mike you, right? If you John skipper, you spend a lot of money this year, you spend a lot of money shit. Maybe you go into this purse bid. Would a good polka face. You send any there with a good polka face. You underbid you strategically Akon. Let AJ Goto the biggest sports network in America. Let AJ say that. He's now fighting on his own let AJ get some u s exposure to only add exposure to his new as broadcaster it could be plane. Your enemy. Like, a fiddle. I don't know. Enemy of my enemy, my friend. Yeah. That means if you look at Showtime as a competitor, the then you gotta possibly go do business what the other competitor. That's big a broadcaster. And and the the states in that would be SPN won't be bad business by having him on there for people that have an ESPN knowing the AJ will be on there that probably put him on kinda shows to to get a million hype up and gives buzz going because they will they wanna see people they won't people to see him fight on their platform. But John's fuck that and say, hey, I just want him on his own if he's fighting in the states, this is where I. Well, if you're watching this on YouTube don't hit that helps with the visibility of the show so hit that thumbs up button. Make it blue gray. You ain't do it. Right to day hit the thumbs up show that you appreciate this morning show every single morning nine AM eastern time. Eight AM central seven AM mountain time and six AM Pacific standard, two P M U K Akon you wanna finish your point. I just was trying to let you know. Maybe they could use this to their benefit. But what was your thought? My is you don't even go off the pillar agree. You said I think we've got a lot of issues going on. I don't see that happening this year. If he gets cleared out then. Happening this shit. If I'm AJ, I'll go, and I'll go back to tease, I know that he's in wireless plans at some point by I'll go and. On gone with the wind champ. What is going on in the UK? Yeah. The Queen is acting funny with the ban without their breath for real fuck. I don't even know what to say. Kinda mean is like a man's your question. What do you feel about AJ San? He's still willing to fight derail the other. He he wanted to fight him. Anyway, he was like listen. I like it. I like it. I like it even though I'm not I'm saying this. You know, honestly, wholeheartedly. I am not an expert in PD's. I don't even Google it. I haven't even googled were. Big baby took outside of that g h fourteen sixteen whatever the fuck that was but the other one that you you Michael gross told me he had to physically I didn't even Google that didn't go either. Okay. So I don't know what it does. But. From that. You know, like taking saying that people wanna while vacuum people want him to fight or tees, and he sees there's there's other fights that we always like fuck we wanted that fight. And then like I wanted a mid con versus Lamont Peterson believe it or not. I wanted that fight because I felt Peterson beat Amir Khan in the first fight, and it was tainted because of the guy in the hat because of the SaaS damone pellets. So I wanted to see if Peterson was good a was that the help of the performance enhancements drug? So yeah, I wouldn't mind if he fought him as long as you know, he's this this time he's clean like when wilder for Ortiz. He was he was clean. You know? You're the only reason I knew about abo with the week prior or to expire you have fodder dillashaw gotta get populated and Joe Rogan like little. A little fifteen minute thing on it. And actually stated that the yoga has to be here like a expert on there, and those those guys were talking, and that's why you ingest APO. But yet man if AJ goes back in fights, a remember, our give them close for that. Always like to see those kind of guys. You're on that side. What are you going to do? I mean that dude there you gotta use them. Someone's gonna use them. Someone will give them the opportunity and look, and if your age, you can wait that out to you can let him go half to fight in sick or flip or grove. It goes somebody like that before making his bones. Again, you can because your age you get to pick and choose absolutely gone to get everything situated or should we go to the collar too quotas guys? No idea what's going with my internet here. And right there. It was fine. Just doesn't wanna let the Queen is saying no long conversation from you. I just had look. That's so sick that I should just go off. It may be it may be your Skype. You might wanna Reese guard a guy because everytime you talk. I see a little microphone by your name have a slash through. What that means is muted restart. Maybe look for the update to right? If you go to Skype in there's a little button. So search for jumped on man, so. We started. So we could come back to your, bro. Because the people want your points. We're gonna go out to the callers. Remember, the number to call in his one four to five five six nine fifty to forty one before we go to those. Maybe we should read some of these quotes, right guys. I mean, only right. Let's see. Chats. The first one says I can't understand if you're Dion wilder. Why would you not fight Anthony Joshua for double treble the money you're making anywhere else? Is there for him? I think that these people made plenty of mistakes, and this they're missing an is to on the next quote. I think they rush this article out because they put treble there. And and you know, I looked it up. And it's like, yeah. You can you can use trouble in that in that way, where it's a three part, but why would while taking the three part payment on AJ fight? So I just think they messed up on the grammar with peg if the U K slaying anyway using. Oh, okay. I think Trevor we cause trouble is to we got to definition obviously is troubled for the music for the highs on the species. And then however, Eddie's using again, why would it be three part like, but what you can say you can say that three part? But, but you know, you know, how we use like man, she bad. But we don't mean like she bad in a bad way. You don't saying using three part that don't mean we're gonna break it up. Entry payment at three times is payday probably like the slaying that you have. Okay. Thank you might go for education me on UK grammar. So he goes on to say, I know that or tease has already been promised to while defied. I know that Adam he has already been promised while defied. So we're not just talking about two thousand twenty we might be talking about two thousand twenty one when Wilders available. It's bullshit for the sport of boxing. It really is it's annoying because certain people without the brain capacity pursue that Joshua doesn't want to fight wilder. You couldn't be more wrong. Take control of your own career. He's always says an interviews these promoters, don't let you do this. And you've got to be in control of your own career. If you want the fight take control of your own career. Now while there is gonna end quote skews me while there's obviously gonna fight, but this is part of the article which was important while there's going to bat Dominic. Brazil may eighteenth, obviously for the WBZ and say mandatory. But then the offer goes on to say that it could be or teased or fury to in the fall fall being something like Mike sets timber November fury three is expected to take place at the back end of two thousand twenty or early two thousand twenty one leaving little room for movement. But if we're talking two thousand twenty back in that leaves that lease. One fight for wilder. So if while this fighting in the fall versus fury. And then he's not gonna do the rematch for the trilogy- until the end. There's a fight that he could slide in. Now. I don't understand how they're looking this far ahead because these are all two fights. What happens wins and losses? But these are the quotes. So this is interesting too as far as zone Joshua must now concentrate on four seeing that can his own stateside path. This is exactly what we talked about forcing his own stateside path with the run of fights catering to American audiences AJ has outgrown the UK market after selling out Wimbley and the principality stadium. Joshua is also needed by dissolve on do for their u s. So it was a mandatory contenders is being lined up for the foreseeable future with all exander Kurla Cobra who left just two names on the list. But the WB will be adding their number one contender sooner rather than later. So you Brian so yes. So like both of these guys got shit to do. Her on think he way he might. But I don't know how pants he will come back from that injury to tag him. Then go to fight with AJ. So that WB oh might get. If WBO how does that work? This is to try and strike a deal before can. Can and Shelly Finkel while fury team said down the same way. Because listen wilder could still slow, you know, pay fury back. So if that offer is good enough. Remember fury had the contract for the rematch for five days and then left to ESPN. So why do the same? He got his contract for the rematch and let AJ Eddie give him a better off or at least a similar offer. I mean, it won't be similar obviously AJ fight is bigger than means a bigger pay per view. So, you know, this should is. They gotta make it work. It doesn't this doesn't necessarily. This is just a strong possibility. But. What a good contract as I think about a more and more man is being my fuck around and be the the network does go win the most out of this whole thing. Let's take it from the top. We got the wilder and fury that possibly play. Right. So SPN would probably have a joint pay-per-view where time Polly probably second site. Bob was on. I believe I was I asked him how would happened, and he said, it would be joined pay per view between the Showtime now, let's move onto the Cooper of is eerie. Sorry. But this move to pull in in AJ, then apples and Bob's able to the AJ by person over two PM. That's another one. Now, the WB. Oh, we don't know if doing why Oscar Rivas we'll be shown on ESPN. But there were rumors earlier this year that didn't have some kind of deal bureau on ESPN. So if. Comes up and shows on ESPN. Then that could tell me if a. Saying to the WBO. I'm not ready yet. And they go down to the second person on that list. Which is why didn't AJ that you as rights could be a game January. It could be possible. What went on clay cone in AJ for the the Showtime and HBO fight like dealing why could possibly land on ESPN AJ too. So Adrienne could possibly be the biggest winner out all of this. I know it sounds like a conspiracy theory, but everything plays out which all indications things. But you are then we might possibly see in the end it says to the WB I was injured. I just tacky him. I'm not ready for this mandatory yet. Invites him yet. So I'm talking future. I'm injured I'm backers from tax. We'll see. I mean, they say he's out for like two the fall. And that's even better deals go to that second person on their list. They were not even second because OSA has the right to call it mandatory. So right now, the only why is number one in the w all right? Well, let's take to the streets, man. And. Talk to our public one hundred and ninety four watching please, please please on the five hundred and ninety five thumbs up just help us get bigger and better with the show. If you wanna go one step farther it over to the patriots last boxing and sign up for as little as three dollars a month. Today, we have a show at believe ours. We have on the day, actually. Because he he's the first American heavyweight champion evanger, only, you know, what I'm saying that got needs this credit and you see evanger humbly field. He don't lose the wilder. And I'm a disown thing. You know, what I may also having and we all know Anthony wouldn't make thirty two million dollars a fight. He don't need anybody and the fight where Anthony Joshua, and that's going to be a super fight because he'd be Jojoy. Yeah. He'd be Joe joy. If he wanted to go medals just like any job. So you gotta undisputed champion is another undisputed champion to champion will Bill. I can't wait for this that because it's going to be a super bite so lupus everybody life button. So everybody in the chat TV, but like. Going out to Baltimore. Troy. Good morning. On me. And I got a question has meant to do with money. Just commonsense. Right. If you're the oldest of the top heavyweights, which while they why would you wanna wait? Wouldn't it? Wouldn't have food. You just get this fight now. Because because you can't be all the time knowing that Troy cannot say. I don't know the good hair. Able to though that's the thing. Because I don't know you wouldn't be able to we all think we know each other just because we read couple of oughta speaking from a common sense point of view, man. I'm not speaking from any other. Any other comments? Let's talk commonsense starting with specifically you you've come on time and time again and said that technically he's not good, right? So don't you think they're getting? Listen, listen, listen, you've said, technically he is in good. So again, not I said. I said I said boxing career is a fraud. You see your causing now? It's not fun when we don't engage. Right. So we won't engage. You talk. Make your point. I'm good. You. I'm good. You know, you go now. I mean, he he can't help but talk. So now he's done. Wait for me. He did call into the show kinda wanna. So now, we're giving them the platform. He's quiet. Just you and I talking now, I'm not quite literally to you. You have something to space. Cut cut it. It's crazy for for me to think that people like, oh, wouldn't it be better? If I now I mean, these are the same people that criticize him for not being technically sound. So you tell me it's not sensible. So go into the biggest fight of your career with a bit of preparation, you know, fighting a few other people's to tighten things up. It sounds almost like AJ were AJ said, right? You know, when he said, I'm not gonna be rush, you know. But I it's crazy like, you can't think both ways, you know, with these guys. But whatever now man the occurred. Choi never been a real big fan. So I don't expect to call in and be so gung ho about what the news is. He wants to fight and eight feels like maybe like, why does get more fights he'll be a little bit more dangerous towards AJ. And that's not way he wants. Yeah. Man. I guess I guess Edward in Alabama talk to me. Alabama by represent bad said, I he said man, I feel you. I'm glad you kinda shake up way right there. If they insult Wilders intelligent than than they make fun of them. And then they wonder why he makes a decision any Hearns, Tom. I'll take until your career. That's exactly what why there's done. I mean, I don't like I hate that defied. It looks like I dunno gloomy at the fine that happened. But at this point in time for him to sit there and come out and say, oh, he talks about I've never heard while they're saying he ain't did something because promoters, I I don't know where he got that from and he take control the career when AJ less roll, you should let him go ahead take while they're five did. But you did it. I mean, so everybody's implying. I got for every game. And it's it is what it is. I look forward to the match happened. You know, if other what I mean, I don't really wanna. Fight or because that's dangerous fight. I don't care. How old Ortiz is? I mean, so it's not like he's taking fight this easy and Kentucky's coming up. I mean, they if he gets a path and theory that was a great fight the first time, I mean, that's what it is. That's taking control of career. So I don't know any heard I guess he'd just trying to make himself remain relevant. I don't think he wants to fight either. So I don't know what to get more. I just wanna watch some boxing are pretty good. On the pressure man person. Like when I was listen to those I only just like any really wants to fight. But and I think he's under pressure from a dissolved to deliver. Stop putting weight as rematch clauses in the back end. Yeah. Stop being you know, there's a part of obeying a promoter and trying to do the best for your guy. Now, I'm not expecting him to to Dami take take on saying. But and then the day being a promoter, you kinda put those games, but those kind of things in the in the contract, you know, what I'm saying just to protect your fighter. Let me go out the sky books. We got a first time caller Adrienne talk to me was going on Adrian, and where you calling from homey. Came words, going down. Where I can this whole this whole heavy wet scenes mess right now in year, man listening. A bit of a mess. I think it's gang. Good though, man. I believe it's like the time when when when Vlad lost the belts man, pretty soon, the F as the heart grow Vicks. You know, they're going to be in the mix too, man. Even DeLeon white and Luis Ortiz are gonna have to get shots or get pushed out by somebody. So I think it's only gonna get better. I know I know we want the top. But think about it. How old is AJ? He's like twenty eight right, man. Yeah. But even even do. Do. Fights, man. He. Everybody is forgetting about the age the whole agent. Look the problems we've like DeLeon why it's meant to be in while all on all of Brazil saw about one Johlene. What do you mean? Like, why is like like the whole even the whole zero fi? Like, why is even happening? Truly didn't meant to be any understand. Why? I ended two heavyweights into got fall belts billion white who's doing the WBZ. But. Yeah. Cockfight cockfight while Trump here while fighting Trump here news, the UK, I'm paying you on the or whatever job, I don't understand. I'll really go on the fights often. Often takes time to die. I'm come on now times times always destined for everybody. Anything? I mean looking into it could it could no look at look it. Lopez and Gamboa's. That's when we were first introduced to the word marination and fighters could take laws, but if a fighter takes a loss, he wasn't meant to be here. Took the laws Marquez knocked them off. And guess what happened Floyd still does ask because he wasn't meant to be here. So while AJ take the loss in between. They weren't the super fight that we thought 'cause only supervise stay relevant. Yeah. That's true. That's true. That's I give it up give it up Germany. I don't think it'll fall off. It's that way division every Lee had losses. Like, we forget that man. That Floyd Mayweather syndrome has got us brainwash. Frazier had losses. I Li losses. George Foreman had lost Mike Tyson who everybody man Lennox Lewis. Everybody laws that ain't a big deal. If wild loses or AJ losers or fury losers or that or tease loss? Give him a shot. I hear what you're saying. Not pointing that. But at the same Sandpoint commit made yet saying why is while the fight in the best in the division by people? He wants to fight me. Say you say if you're and and and Ortiz are not the best in the division in Kolonaki. For them not being on. Obviously all all tees. Give him a run for his money. Infuriates should should really will not fight. And they say job and are. Job and you are saying so then you are saying that the best in the division because you're saying one guy almost beat them in the other guy should have beat them. No. Because that's the that's the end the division. But they're not. They're not holding top positions in the rankings right now. They're driving. How much anyone can say. Let's. Is listen to the top of the rankings will rankings or you looking at AJ fury and Ortiz aren't ranked in the top five where where are you looking where saying to talk on the best? How to fuck does that make you the best, bro? 'cause who's holding the bells? The people holding beheld cemented champion. Champion contenders. Everybody's fine contenders. Instead of fighting Trump pins because this only true champions, everybody can't champions, and that's the mega fight with. But we all went to have after few being free. Yes. But yeah, why wanna fight agent. But yes to call in our age. When edge puts on his toes. You're the wanna fire more foster, you're more frustrated than AJ, which is sad. Because now the UK is in an uproar right now, they want while the fi AJ, but when offers was coming to oh, find your pan. Oh, take whatever you ain't worth it like the millionaire guys come on, man. You can't have your cake and eat it too like shit on a guy you tell him. He's not worth anything, you go, and you make multiple people make videos, do, you know, be on to do, you know, you know, you crown them? Now, you're begging to do business with them. Yeah. It is Larry Larry's, how do you expect a clown someone, but then begged to do business? Oh, man. I don't know. I see your know how how about the shin. Let shouldn't let motion getting the way business. But at the time, it don't seem like this is fairly good business guys. Like, I stated before like the one twenty million dollars sound on the surface, but AJ. Wow. The first fight, man. They go make fucking money if they keep marinating let away man this should get up to two three million buys me in the US alone. But you get all the other. Three million two million dollars in the US alone. Mike is by actually having fights in the US. And that's why this path whether they like it or not is the right path for these men not us, but for them to get they little fifty sixty hundred million dollar check. This is what they gotta do. They gotta make more American paper view pain. Cuss consumers want this fight. And right now who wants it UK pay per view buys. That's not enough snot enough. It's gotta be way more US buys way, more US buys. But listen final thoughts of ours shit. Let's see how to play that man. I can't really say too much about about. I just gotta see how plays out, and hopefully, we ain't got what twenty twenty one. But my app to don't forget the hit that dumbs up. By future. President pass doesn't matter helps with the visibility of the show hitting up on an old video will put that video in the eyes of the new listener that concern into a new caller and the new caller concern into a new character on the show. So don't forget to hit that button as hits the helps the visibility of the show. And while you're there subscribe to the YouTube channel with trying to get to that two hundred thousand we've made it two hundred thousand finally next stop one hundred thousand. No. Two point five is is the next milestone. So we got a couple of hundred to get to that. So don't forget subscribe to the YouTube channel, I'm else gives Instagram and Twitter at nets GTO. Listen, man. You hate me. I know I know that you do. But at the end of the day, dude, I'm not in control. You know, I'm not I'm not the one telling while the to fight or not fight like I wasn't telling AJ sent him flat fees. You know, what I'm saying people get mad? This is real life. We got fillings in the motions involved with shit. So like you sending over flat fees. Treat me, you know. I mean was it while the went as far saying it was a slave contract or some shit like that he say that year. Yup. And then he also said he also said the Eddie was milking AJ. So like those are the words coming from Weill. Wilder after being treated a certain way. So now he's trying to make his own lane. That man tell you to say we got super chatty from guy Jos guy sees mastermind Kornacki Burs Ariel the August third efficient. That's that. That's that. That's that prelude fight. He got stay ready for wilder in Brooklyn for future reference. Beyond beyond beyond his might. Do you like wild Ortiz too? Yeah. It's not like do you have the right to feel the way that I felt about Concorde? You're you're you're you're do. But I don't do you think you think that that's logical to feel the way I fell for con Crawford for for for or while the two. Oh, no. No. No. No. No. No. So so you'd think Ortiz while the two has its value. Yeah. You're better fight better find Americana and cropper, but. I can't say from what I've seen from tease pass to fights. Yeah. I I will water. Possibly take a lot out of. But think about water in Kornacki. I is one of those fight that water deserves as a being in their tough back to back. Deserves? Now. That's funny that you're you're kind of talking it up as as easy fight. When I'm not saying that you got you. If you look at Brazil's resume, he less than of Nakae with less names on his resume when he four AJ for all the bills. Wanted to write how many how many was I'll be I'll be Bill go. So I don't know, man. I dunno. Interesting interesting that I don't know. I just don't think Karnak you have the necessary dimensions in in the main to give these guys get these big six six seven guys problems. I think he's a little bit too short. And that's not just how tall is in. That's the only problem that really see. But who knows maybe can prove me wrong 'cause they major money meant to upset. But yeah, if you listen to right now, and you two thumbs up button and follow me g nineteen eleven or on Twitter at grows, toothy boomerang. Call KO talk to me what's going on. Yeah. You have your. You're not putting in the work so much respect to you guys less than I know, you guys don't wanna believe that bothers docking. Jay, I'm not gonna talk about that. Let's talk about dealing why. Now, you Clinton while say wants to fight the best. But while the high Kelley been talking why because what has been the number one contender for the last two years. And while still doesn't wanna factory I say on the number one contender make you. That means I have to fight you. Main fuse the best in the duck UC rankings. Right. Wouldn't the best be the mandatory? That's why he's next. Not not necessarily not necessarily necessarily. Okay. All right. Yeah. Well, when the last one that she Laxman based was he the best. Do according to the rain. According to the rankings. Listen might wanna. Onto laugh all you want. But when they mandate Trevor Brian versus AJ. The best the same way they did Pevec in. And he was the best. That's the way that does these rankings listens. While I'm saying to you. I'm saying to you that you came why the says he wants to fight the best. And we know number one round fessing is white. So checking he's the best in WBZ. Right. But he's not does what five thirty is not the best Kayode while this fighting his mandatory, which means it's an obligation. Okay. Okay. So let me let me speak while this fighting the mandatory because it is an obligation necks. It is ruined. It is rumor that snacks to this rumor that he's gonna fight fury. Unfinished business or no or Luis Ortiz. The guy that. Dillion white keeps ducking so both those guys are better than Dillion white. And if you don't agree on that then you are not real boxing fan. Listen, we don't know that is what Lewis. So let's talk about on. Let's talk about one thing. He is the number one in the rankings on WB. So when you say the Tory start burning some fucking shit in front of the WBZ till now, he ain't shit. Listen. You kind of question. So now, he's nobody fi in more. Nobody's Lucas Browns. And nobody robber Atlanta's nobody. Oscar Rivas is nobody get your nobody as resume to fuck out here. Do that white man. Lucas brown. Somebody David fucking Allen. I used to be a fucking bouncer. Just not that Lucas Brown. Look brand with day even worse even worse. The guy you give the most credit for wasn't fighter. That's that. No. You give billion so much credit for. Yes. You do. Yes. You do. Yes. You do. Yes. Do don't lie. Don't like maybe this neighbor here. I love it for future reference. If you wanna call in number one four to five five six nine to forty one. If you wanna call he got to add give and until next time. He's. Do say. Everybody's emotion was one of disappointment and frustration over time events like that drama late night goes in annals is something that's a bit different unexceptional that's kind of what makes 'em are a race in addition that we still talk about. Yeah I think I mean just the course of the Asia itself. Obviously it's been changed embarrassed ways and times over the years but I still consider it be ultimate test of of pure athletic ability in a cyclist. It's it's that hard. I didn't know whether this is slightly misplaced and misguided by still sort of look at first and second year pros in everything get thrown into the edge. How they fare whether they're able to finish the race and I always think that's an interesting gauge of you. Know how sort of resilient they are. it doesn't always hold true. Doesn't always predict a great future for them but it certainly I'm one of the toughest tests of endurance in one day races On the calendar and in Aberdeen the the weather the The PELETON had that day. I mean it does add up to I think. Probably the the most memorable edition of the last thirty sorry was not lost twenty years at the most member. Listen forty yeah. Surprising numbers spectators out on the side of the road watching So you know it's it's not A. It's not something that we've seen off and I think that goes back to something down your says about the kind of the Mystique of the sport being When when the stories can be told without the Without the drama of it necessarily being shattered by saying TV picture of it. Had it been handicapper or you know I a less well known rider. I mean I'm thinking equivalent race quite recently was the world championships. In Harrogate. Where mads Pedersen was the winner now? Madison a good strong writer but perhaps not destined to be a great like iino was and so that density of the winner always has a bearing too. I think on the racist look back on it. Highlights revered or humane. It would've been almost a a sort of freak edition rather than something the has had it lobster or more General Sheila milan-san remo. Maybe another good example. Had it been Tom Boonen? Who won the milan-san remo? Maybe it would. It would be one that that that's held up a bit more as a as a an epic day a great day in the history of the race I think it's another one Upon which Allaire off the layer of mythology has been added in subsequent years as well? You know the time. I don't know how much was known about the sort of conversations going on between Ino and Gamma Gamma who is also sort of a legendary figure. Legendary figure of that era but those conversations are very much part of the folklore. That's grown around that race in addition the other thing about it. I think he's the sort of emblematic performance of. He knows at his absolute best which you'd have more of a view on this More insight into this maybe was the nineteen eighty version of enough the best dino. Well it's a funny one because it was Indian year 'em he won by he. Then you know it was a year where he and his two most is tiny one day performances. the world championships in a launch. You know arguably one of the toughest ever world championships and unleashed stone-age the Tour de France. He was am disappointed and disappointing because he had to pull out with a knee injury and which may have had something to do with the ordeal of of writing there as you know. He had a lot of 'em health issues after that with his fingers being frostbitten and his knee problem may have been exacerbated by his efforts day and they came back from the tour to win the world championship in a similar very domineering fashion with a just a strongman's performance so it was probably the best of Iino in a one day sense but ultimately disappointing year for him in the in the grand tours. I mean I lost that partly because we're talking about very memorable additions of the Asian. Career continued in very much the same vein after that nine hundred sixty nine crush but I think he did. Change slightly after Particularly the grand tours the we didn't see quite the civil day she's exploits the long distance rates That he had been able to pull off in the mature in particular in sixty nine. We didn't really see that again for Merck's so the crash probably did change him. And maybe maybe that nine hundred seventy eight when he was beaten by the bombing was an early sign of just a little corrections. Coroner for me here. I'm no of course. One has fresh jeeter in nineteen eighty am says. The tour was disappointing but he did win the Giro. So what about you Lionel? Do you have a favorite leash? Stone-age age while. Sorry to disappoint. Not GonNa talk about too many of the addition in the last thirty years but I would say one thousand nine hundred. Seven is my favorite. And because firstly Marina Argentina's world championship Jersey and shorts. Combo is a country to popular opinion. Absolutely fantastic as kind of stone-washed version the bands themselves kind of fade towards the bottom controversial for the purest. I think but not your favorite dish of bustle. Because you liked what was wearing. It has something to do with it. Certainly wise lodged in my mind. When I saw I think probably was the first time I saw Argentines Tyke on the rainbow. Jersey would have been in a CYCLING MAGAZINE THAT YEAR? Issue kind of blew my mind. It was it was amazing and it still still lodged in my mind these years later if you haven't seen it and don't know what I'm talking about. Just Google Argentine Rainbow Jersey or something and I'm sure you'll you'll find it. I'm he'd won liaised on the Asia to previous years of course and well. It was a real smashing. Grab by. Argentina. Finish straight the race finished in town alongside the river that yeah I did for many years. Not the kind of finish. We're more familiar with from recent years and Stephen Roach include for Gilliam worldwide together and and basically they pockets picked by Argentine. Who closed in the final couple of kilometers? An incredible number of calls in the Finnish strike between the leading to an Argentine. Argentine was kind of skulking in the shadow of the cause and was able to spring a real surprise. And it meant Cra Kili owned the great while loon way never one liaised Stanley as you. On the two of Florida's be didn't win the the classic in his home region and Roach. Who went on to have the incredible year way won the Jiro the Tour de France and the world championship at the time. It felt like he'd let a massive win slip through his fingers and I remember talking to him and he said after the race he drove back to France Sort of an innocent of days under eighty kilometers an hour on the alternate route and he stopped. Halfway rang home to his wife and said under no circumstances was she mentioned the rice at all and not even ask how he'd go on Because he felt that he should have won the race and Caught napping but of course you know. It's one of those one of races. That goes down as Sort of famous pickpocket moment Argentine sprung them and made it three in a row. So that's my favorite but I think looking them. There's a period didn't have between about two thousand three and two thousand and ten where The role of on perhaps doesn't reflect brilliantly on On Cycling Daniel Go. He's heading anytime here. But maybe says something about the culture of the sport during that time I mean Tara Hamilton. Wtam rebellin Alexander Curl violated. Andre Valverde Danilo di Luca Alabama and be knocker again. It's it's a bit of a whole of infamy. I won't say shut infamy. There we are yes indeed. M Well that Vinokourov win was controversial for other reasons as well until a Belgian court decided. They haven't actually bought. The race has been alleged and that was years ago. Famous poster. Was it not always well. These other victory. Yeah we had a. We had a Signed signed poster of Vinokourov winning leg muscle edge and which was given to us in order to present as a gift by brand names obviously oversee stock that they couldn't quite shift and they sent us some post at some signposts new craft winning they as we then had a Raffle at dinner that we organized and where the guest speaker was one Christian prudhomme free director of the French on Well who would have believed that but when the RAFFLE was drawn the winner of the signs of more vicks dog or the Raffle God. The Post he did he. He's in very good spirits and he saw the joke so that was a nice moment. M Yum I've been reading some assets at old book off to the races twenty five years or cycling journalism and chapter in there on Claude. Creaky Leon who you mentioned there. Lionel went close several times but never did when liaised by Stanley as he was a writer. I liked a lot. Maybe because he didn't win much whereas Moreno Argentine was was a writer. I didn't warm to heal. He left me a cold. M Very very ruthless kind of winner. He was a sniper wasn't a he he could he win these races without appearing to try. And that you don't get to go what's out for July browse your virtual eyebrows or on the ceiling. Well I was GonNa just say about Clo- creaky though. I mean the heaven when we talk about cycling Belgian usually talk about Flanders and Philipsburg is alone Ian. Who's obviously one H Brussel NASA's twelve o'clock ricky? Leon was the leading light from that area at our time. And you did a on a little special last year on. The area didn't yet on the account each with Tarik sort of Wella. Yeah I'd always Growing up watching cycling otherwise thaw of liaise best on the Asia's the best and most prestigious of the classics. But I think in hindsight that was because it was where the Tour de France. Riders tended to Show themselves so there was much more of a sort of touchstone with liaised. Best only Asian. There was familiar with the two of Flanders and pyro by which which seemed to be. You know slightly quirkier events but I You know as I kind of started covering cycling going to flow into to to see the Kabul classics so often really kind of fell in love with that area and that the coach of cycling influence to the neglect of while owner and I felt the having gone and done the line of Flanders a few years ago I ought to redress the balance and go and explore the ordinary little bit more and yeah I found it really really interesting and I well we the the special episode from last year Onto the twenty twenty friends of the podcast feed. So if you are a friend of the podcast you can let go and listen to that now that the couple of things that stood out were the recommendation of Patrick McGuinness book. Which you recommended I read before I went to Lone Richard. And which really kind of influenced my thinking really. It made me look at the region with with With fresh eyes and the other thing you mentioned curriculum that Statue Cookie Leo who Passed away in Twenty Fifteen Midway mood we and I noticed that the the two of Florida's victory is not engraved on the statue. And I wondered whether there was some kind of Some kind of political reason for for their selflessly there is I sense of rivalry between Flanders and well owner and We got offering JP to ask the sculpture and I need to follow up with JP to find out whether they've added the to flanders engraved onto that monument. But I'll talk all about that in the special line of the Which is under the PA? The patron McGuinness book. You mentioned other people's countries our journey into memory and I'll be in the show notes for today. It's a really good book. He grew up in that world. It's a it's a great. It's a great but really opens up An area that I didn't know Florida. We're always quite worried about flesh on Just talking about did win flesh on. Didn't they don't really missing? Flexible on 'em last year was really improved by Not Finishing on the way had been finishing for the past couple of decades on that now very familiar rise in ONS Flesh will continue to finish on the mood to Hawaii. I have taken to ray rudely referring to as the uphill cheese roll It's a bit like where does that take place? The famous cheese roll in Gloucestershire. Where a round of cheese is dropped to the top of the hill. Whenever piles down the hill I mean the mood who is a bit like me the other way round or a bit like you said that. Um when I think it's very common when people get into cycling to really love the Ogden because is a bit of an entry point The twitter France riders come out to play there but find particularly flesh. Will on you get bored of it right quickly. It's a bit like a Lana del Rey album. First Time you think is great second time bit last time you think. Well how would they off? Lana and you'd ever you want to listen to flesh on an and I think having seen that when we went back after flesh will own The day off to the right and we wrote for and then we had lunch in town and the town itself is lovely and the climate self is is a really nice challenge. It's really steep. It's a it's a good thing to go ride your bike on and when you get to the top and there's none of the race structure there. There's no finish line. There's no barriers You realize it's just a it's just a road. A non fairly nondescript road at the top of a of an unusually steep hale in on the left hand side there. There's a sort of An adventure park with huge fiberglass dinosaurs that make dinosaur authentic dinosaur noises. Which were well. You hear a clip of our special and it's all be incongruous and and I think in a way that's quite appropriate for fleche-wallone because it is it's a slightly slightly unusual rossy stays in. We know the we know the story line before the race starts and an easy to be quite dismissive of that whereas leash on the Asia. I think at least has that kind of it. At least not history of being you know very one of the very oldest events and won the when you look back at the palmers pretty much. Everyone who's everyone has won some point. Let's hear shall we from a writer who has written well? The last couple of years in the second two years ago to Bob you angles and he was fifth last year. A lot of people remember his am trial to start from new. Look with the one leg warmer and try to get like worms off. He could only get one often that I was quite an interesting and Michael Woods. The Canadian writer from F- Pro Cycling. And he's a well. Uneventful start theory broke his leg in a crash at Pyrenees required an operation. Leon he then travelled by Girona and where he and his wife have a a young baby now another context that is many people remember a couple years ago at the Vuelta in twenty eighteen. He won a stage on a very steep hill in the Basque country and he spoke afterwards by having Lost Baby Son. Hunter who was still born very side story and he spoke very movingly and they he and his wife. Allie have had a a baby girl. No Am so am you know. He's in locked in Spain on. I suppose enjoying time with his baby while also recovering from his like break. I'm looking forward to returning to racing. Here is Michael Woods. Well Mike I mean it's a must be a really strange time for you For all sorts of reasons Can you take me back to Pyrenees? I mean we we saw you crash. Are we saw the aftermath of crushes? It was pretty obvious. It was a serious injury. An did you know immediately. That was a bad one. Yes just the pain like normally normally I. I can tell only after you crush my Drennan. Your jawline puppets so high that you can't really feel anything the heavier the hammer and it'd be fine at least for the retreat but I I felt pain instantly and so that's when I like anytime. Its bones like almost at most times. It's been vote for me If I feel pain I know it's really bad and Yeah like the way hit This rock Just felt the track machinery when a hit. It and I knew ause Batman I looked at me and I lifted the leg the lifted Mike wide and the proportion the quad came up but the bottom portion didn't and when that happened like freaked out normally pretty calm by. I started yelling. I know there's a because it was both pain that caused that but also just instantly thinking of the Olympics coming up at the world championships. The tour all those things. I really kind of targeted this season. I realized we're probably going to be compromised. And so at that moment afterwards painful so then. There was transferred to hospital nearby. Yeah yeah got the Gun. Went to y'all And from there went from me being worried about the rest of the season to just kind of start realized. The significance of corona virus is already feeling it prior to the crash. I think actually affected probably one of the reasons why it crashed. I just wasn't one hundred percent when I went into the race. I So focused on like not to have success in the world where you have to be one hundred percent focused I think there are a couple of percentage points lacking in that focus Because of just everything that was going on in the world and every day that we raised for the race it was harder to ignore andres clear. My director had asked me had asked everybody at the start the race to devote themselves to the race. When they're in it they think about other things outside the race for really devote themselves to the race. That was really good advice but I I. I became distracted and for sure as reason why crashed and get going into hospital in the owners so bizarre. Just everyone wearing masks. You're really quiet And just hoping my parents could get their time to get me out of France before the border between France and Spain close. Yeah because that was a concern. I mean you've you've got small babies well and I guess the back of your mind must have been the fear. Even during the race of maybe being stuck in France in a hotel in France for two weeks it was not just that it was like really weird. Situ unique and weird situation for me. I'm not a resident of Spain residents Dora but we were in drone over the court We're always drone over winter as the weather up indoors. Not Great and At that time I mean and Yeah like my wife and my my baby girl were Girona At my parents can't pick me up but if the border close we wouldn't be allowed to Spain because we were residents there and then I couldn't go up to a door because my parents Would be able to get in and Even if I went into a we had the FAM- I had the car. We had the family car. Small my wife and my daughter mail the joy meeting Dora. So we were like really panicked. We wouldn't be able to see each other for a while and we. We staged an escape for early in the morning against some of the doctors wishes just to get get back to Spain Ho. How long was Halloween? Hospital in surgery at Eye Surgery right away after the crash and was up at around nine o'clock on Thursday night and was able to get out of the hospital by Saturday morning. Wow and and I mean you know a bad enough injury to just to recover from and begin rehabilitation everything else going on high. Hi Hi hi. His injury healed. It's actually quite well. It's kind of been one of the bright spots of of of the the whole lockdown Just having something to focus on having a recovery focus on It's been kind of Nice to have have that to schedule my day. I've been really lucky. I've got had a have a great sponsor back you can't called fee to ten and they've Helping out with this one year and a physiotherapist coming by almost every day to help out. Or just Gimme rehabilitated. Help My wife with which is getting groceries. And she's really dealing with two useless people at the moment and yeah it's just been it's been it's been good like having this kind of goal tame towards you've been able to get some hands on support rather than just remote kind of Rehab support. My doctor wrote me a prescription and offer physiotherapy and Sasha therapy and so we've been lucky enough to have practitioners come by. It really helps break up today and Death again helps me with that. Focus of just kind of not getting too distracted by what's going on in the rest of the world and kind of plugging away and the other advantage of the two is really forced me to spend time with Max and my daughter sit around and just enjoy. The around heard. An in many ways like the injuries vaccine. Good like I been running it hot for two three years now just in terms of weight in terms of fitness and even in the off season that go back to Canada. And just beyond all all the time doing events and Still Riding my bike quite a bit and Over the past these past six weeks have gone fat of cut the testosterone way back up. Just because I'm sitting around not not chronically fatigued my desire my Ambitions are coming up and energy levels are coming up and it's actually been been on Isis skit that that have the factory reset. So you feel refreshed and energized almost by this. Yeah Yeah I wish. I wish I hadn't broke my femur but yeah I mean definitely a feeling a bit From a body perspective feeling showing new Obviously want to get back on the first two months. But I don't think Rock racing for another four months That gives me ample time to ramp up the training. We'll see Jonathan Your Rehab. I mean when will you be on the on the bike again? I started riding two weeks after injury. Just turning over the legs Pedaling really easily. Just with with with Trainers on with a bike shoes But now I'm for riding now Just on the trainer and I'm starting to push a bit more On Thursday I'm going to be able to start standing my legs. He was normal. Almost I'm really tempted to start putting weight. Wayne on now but I'm gonNA listen to the doctors and stay on crutches for another three four days. Knew who could after picking up the baby just yet I can pick up baby but not walk around with her which is terrible because she likes being Being carried no I mean. Of course you can't go out in the bike at the moment anyway. So it's The trainer would have been your friend the last few weeks. Anyway I guess regard sweat sweating on on your your wife's been being on the Tranquillo. I understand. I think the the future of the rest of the sports revealed itself already with Ause West Ellie is not an avid cyclist. She rides maybe once a month. Max and since this quarantine she's been going on swift's you know almost every day. She's done she's done a ramp tabs. Ftp Ramp test. She's doing intervals And she's really enjoying it so like watching that you start realizing okay. There's there's this is a real access points. Even they now understand Watson power at intervals in cycling. And that's a major access point to the sport Yeah I could see it being the future of this sport interesting. Yeah the the measurability of progress for somebody new to must be must be quite exciting totally to be to have it be relatable and fun like I. I'm not I'm not keen for the sport is like to be all online I'd be. I'd be worse writer if it was on. Everything was swift speed especially under the current programming where you can't steal your or employ tactics as much But it's hard to deny that this is going to be like it is going to be the future of this burden on my sweet. Were looking back on our remembering leauge bustle liaise. I mean it's a race that must have a special place in your heart the last couple years you've written very well. There were a couple of years ago and I guess that was a really important result for you to be my Mo- my my favorite race I like it the most. I like it because it's just such a a challenging It's a race of attrition It's just hard race Mentally physically everything And it said an interesting point in the calendar especially like it's one of the most special monuments and yeah just like all the aspects of it so for it's not be happening is really really weird but yeah hopefully I can. I can be doing next year. Or maybe even in the fall. Well did you More theorem recall of of last year's race famously. Of course you you the one. Leg warmers This fashion talking point of the day and it was a it was a pretty that was a sort of symptomatic by frantic. It was wasn't the terrible weather. I think my garment read four degrees at one point I did a full kit change at one point. I even took my undershirt off But Yeah I I don't I personally dressed super well felt like it was really good for the final. And when he leaves his Gary attacked. I was in the middle of taking off. My leg. Warmers and one was still on and it's too late. I if I if I spent time taken off the next late warmer I would not be in the race anymore so I just realized I was going to have to deal with getting made fun of for probably the rest of my career and race with this one when they were but I figured if I won liaised I'd I'd take all the all the all the comments chirps and the the criticisms quite easily with a a victory hack. That'd be a great great picture. Wouldn't it crossing the line arms aloft? One leg warmer on exactly but Focusing on a day I tacked on Russia for call instigated it really felt like Ida shot at winning and we came to right after Russia Really out and then you take a right kind of builds up graduate again for was scientific pace and both formal and I Were just left in his dust like he was he was on the day. I was put us on the big numbers of my life on that last section of the climate Just couldn't hold on us. He was he was a motor Janna faded end up. Getting caught by group came letter was a it was a cool race. I actually thought felt like the new course was Was was nice because it just finished in pot in the proper not near a car floor and we've got this rescheduled calendar Ni- for the year. Nobody knows how. Can it be like then for you? Also you know given that you're you're you're fighting back to fitness after your crash. I mean what was it like mentally psychologically to to think that there's a possibility that raising might regime. Then you might. You might be able to be part of it. Well I think I was really excited. I was almost excited for the calendar to be delayed so significantly I was excited about the Olympics. Going to twenty twenty one Just for selfish reasons because you like it just gave me more time to get back in the percents I'm coughing on now. Get back to a hundred percent but Giving you just more runway. I've ruined one athletic career already. My Life In running and I rushed back to fast and so I really wanted to make sure I was patient with this comeback but now after Couple more weeks of thinking on the delays in schedules and having this schedule is revealed. Start feeling a bit of anxiety about the sport general and wondering if it even though they've been delayed will they happen Personally I feel like I want them to happen. Obviously but I think they need to have just to for the sake of the sport In order to you know that this this really bad sports in a really bad state at the moment is really Tearing on a It it's it's It's it's in some ways on the brink and so It needs some good news and needs some like the tour. The monuments still go on for it to really a have to continue Yeah I mean I think. The desire to crime has many racist possible in three months. It tells us a lot about prompts. Hi How precarious is especially with with one or two teams or maybe more than once team's precarious and also how like frustrating? It's really frustrating for me Thinking about UCI thinking about the CPA thinking about The the race organizers and how how fragile. They've made the sport how dependent they've made it on certain sponsors how cutthroat they've made it And in many ways they've kind of they've created this problem like it's not obviously krona viruses is what status off but It's just magnified. What was wrong with the sport and Like ultimately they're they're responsible for it and I think also like I wish we had some people that were confident like truly competent Not Stuck in tradition at the helm of this Sport at the moment like talking from Ucla Perspective Air so perspective Now even within the writers union the CPA. I wish we had people that were at the heads of those those organizations that that Were more forward thinking and recognize that. This is a real opportunity to make dramatic change support. That's necessary what what would they be? What would what would those changes be? The moment I think a consolidation of the calendar. I think Tell you more compelling narratives like having more throughout the season so we are that we have like the tour as the biggest event yet. The world championships happens while after that. And then you have the Italian classics that fall after the world. Championships like to a spectator. It's it's so it's so even to a layman like I am. I was one like I had no idea about the sport when I first entered it. I had no clue how to understand it. And I had no clue. Who's s rider in the world and how to quantify that or understand like what what races are important. What art important this opportunity to really do a cleanse of the schedule and reschedule things so that it can tell that compelling narrative and like have a proper storyline shoot that I do. I think about cost team cars back because of tax lease. Pk and trump thing to remind me to tell you that. This week's episode is sponsored by the Friends of the cycling podcast. The cycling PODCASTS. From the most recent special vander pool oppressed the BUZZER. Drove into the driveway rang. The bell entered the Vander Pool Family Home. Meeting address other son David also professional with opposite Fedex on my way and then I was showing the large open plan living area while Andrea disappeared to make coffee then he and his wife Corinne shrivel Poulidor's doctor appeared and there was a brief conversation with them about a book that for obvious reasons had caught my eye on their bookshelves. I'm from Scotland. Yeah in fact people want did in fact die onto the race ones. You were right in Glasgow. Do you remember you want it in one thousand nine hundred two it was. You're listening to lock down with Larry sitting here mid six hour ride Got A training partner today. Braeden voss talented junior either from my area in northern Michigan Not Texas And Yeah we're out here during the big one so trying to do a sort of simulated a classic rod today. So I thought try to do the same Time and killer Gills for those who know what those are as like a classic but in an training ride so good to have some company Hopefully It's gone gone. Well we'll see see what brandon has to say. It's nice to have a wheel the hold onto. He's got me spinning out of the junior gears. This'll be the longest ride I've ever done. And definitely my highest average speed for a hundred miles turned out to be a beautiful day and happy to have some company as well. Yeah we're lucky here today it's sunny and it is probably the high is going to be twelve or thirteen degrees. Celsius so For us that's That's really really Nice Day right now. So yeah good day to do a big on and Hopefully it goes well. We'll keep you updated. Hey guys It's evening evening. Time now It's April Eighteenth. Just finished our Giants Classic Classic Ride Today So the idea was to try to simulate a classic you know. I've been doing some pretty big rides. The last week and Once per and you know thought like aw you know June some big days and that was to help far off classic and so I went and looked at sort of the stats from Classics I've done in the last few years we age amstel Lumber D. and stuff and I saw I wasn't so far off in terms of like killer. Jewels and I would say you know a pretty good measure which is for those who don't know you know the a unit of work So it's like your output so Roughly Equates at one point one two calorie So yeah it's like a really hard. A lot of hard races will be around. Four Thousand Kills Five Thousand. Pretty you very big day and a lot of classics are up around six thousand so So Yeah Kinda. I'd asked my coach and he put down a ride and luckily got some company Local junior who is very good. He writes for the hot tubes junior team Lives around here and you know he's also back in town at the moment Because the whole situation we're in so we went for a really good solid ride And just the two of US and yeah it was it was He was really strong. Really impressive. Able to keep up pretty much the whole time and Yeah We did six thousand four hundred kills for the data geeks With about which was exactly the same as I did. Liaise last year and more than some of the years past And he has more than lumber. Do or more than an still so. And I ended up with I would say all the stats worked out pretty similar some classic so it was Kinda cool to do that Especially on the day that amsoil normally held so nice day out. Glad to get a good consol day. Tomorrow is the last day of training before a little Easy Week because you have a training pretty hard here now. So came home and opened up cycling news to see A funny article about Ron Venice. Which I'm sure everyone will be talking about because he violated a lockdown rules in Spain or something and then deleted his social media. And you know. I'm sure he's going to get a lot of heat corey and whatever and I know. He's quite a controversial character but You know I know like there was a lot of talk about what he did in the tour last year and stuff like that but I actually have to say that I have some respect for what he did in the tour last year because he stood up for himself in a way that a lot of other guys would not or have not or don't really have the ability to and you know since he's quite big writer. He doesn't have the ability to do that. And you know I thought it's kind of cool to see someone actually standing up for themselves In what I think's actually pretty important issue. Even though many people won't agree with that But that's totally another story from what today today happened Obviously is probably not the brightest thing to post on Social Media If you're breaking you're locked down rules wherever you are It's also probably just not a good idea to break the rules in the first place But definitely wouldn't be publicizing but you know I know again. He's going to give a ton of heat for this Which is maybe more deserving than the last one but Idea kind of find it. Funny that people you know. Go off on him as much as they do. When so many of those people are the same ones who Criticize WRITERS FOR You know not being open enough and so you know it's it's Kinda funny because it's like people are Mattis if guys on open enough. And then they're mad as they are as open as well on his So I mean you know. Maybe that's a contentious topic whatever but You know I think that is the problem with social. Media is very curated view of life and sometimes it's refreshing to see when people are real and You know everyone loses a shit so I guess I mean in the end. It looks like he went for drive by himself so I don't think you really hurting anyone. But you know whatever So just thought I'd send a quick note on that But yeah this week has been a good one some other i. I did my first with grace this week and UH ended up fourth so I was pretty happy with that. It was a criterion. Didn't really know what to expect but I read an article like a couple of days before on how You know big shift raised in the. Us does his stuff. And so I took some taste from that Set up a bunch of fans to cool myself down and it was fun. It was interesting. It was really hard And I think it's a really good way to get super good workout in especially in a way that I wouldn't have been able to do on my own. I wouldn't have been able to push myself that hard. I'm just a normal training ride. So to have a little bit of that motivation and the game effect It's Kinda cool and yeah so I was just like I was suffering so hard that after a few minutes I look down in. My handlebars were actually sideways. On my trainer I didn't even know it was just like suffering and watching the TV screen so it was fun. Did it was a lot of my teammates and It was a good day out. So kinda got me excited to maybe do it again. Maybe try to integrate it like once a week or something to get a little bit of intensity in the legs in the next couple of weeks since we obviously won't have racing for a long time and it's something I could see myself doing a little bit of the future. I raced this digital Swiss five. This next week I do the third stage which is sorta like McQueen stage So that'll be tough and interesting But yeah it's definitely GONNA be some hitters in that one so don't expect beginning fourth place in in that but we'll see So so yeah That is a bit of news from the war household and I will keep you updated chow. Ten Gallon hat on Larry Yeah Stars and Stripes fluttering in the in the yard am anyway Larry. I did I did ask him about his latest dispatch because he talks about riding with a local writer. Either that that's not allowed in in some parts world and it's it's okay and others and I I I asked him what the rules were where he is and he sits guidelines are quite vague. This waste in a message. we're allowed tax is outside. It's just use your best judgment and don't do anything in large groups pretty much use common sense and don't be stupid so personally I will ride alone or with one other person while keeping some distance east passed by numerous police. And what we're doing never been a problem for them so clearly. Where also being sensible in their eyes am so that if some of your wondering about him going out for a long ride with another writer that is what he said. Too that on your different parts. Settting 'em slightly differently and People are responding differently. Have you got this? Is Our star Corona Virus Section of the podcast? Suppose we've compartmentalized that if you got a can of Roundup Lionel of of the latest news over the last week I suppose. Yeah the has. I've got a couple of corrections. First of all Daniel a couple of weeks ago. You talked about Jeff breakout and his nickname for his wife. Being Mosca e from Flanders writes in to say that Musha is a little bird not a little mouse. Oh no body information from Belgian friends out them cool them out yonder pizza and a might even be. He told me that it was little and also last week. I asked about the longest running sponsorship of of a race. I'm entitled sponsorship of a race like I'm still gold race or only news. Glad and INA ring festival mentioned the pirate Camembert Liberty semi classic which is sponsored by the cheese and has been since nineteen forty three. The race started in nineteen thirty four and it became very coming in nineteen thirty six. I I didn't. I wasn't specific enough in what I was saying. I mean what or or equivalent racist but Well I'm happy to set the record straight on that. On Corona Virus Related Cycling News South African Rider Willie Smith Road One thousand kilometers on swift other platforms are available. That's thirty seven hours in the saddle. He rides for the Burgh speech team at the moment after a couple of years with catava thousand kilometers That is a serious amount of wasting. Isn't it yeah that's phenomenal I mean it it. It it beggars belief. Yeah well frankly Gary Thomas raised more than three hundred sixty thousand pounds and counting for the NHS with his back to back twelve hour shifts. He did three of those rides. Didn't enriching you spoke to him on the phone. Yeah we'll hear from him Split them while he was actually putting by two hundred and twenty watts. Impressive thought yeah. We'll hear from him Bentley Thrown Willie Smith He. If you're interested in Him we've got along with him. In one of our VUELTA episodes from las year again. Details will be in the show notes. But he's he had a very interesting background quite tough upbringing as you say road Kolkata. Good Golfer apparently. I didn't know that when I spoke to him but yeah details of where to find that interview with him in the best pursued notes. Best Gopher ever to ride a grand tour really. That's official. That's Sam yes. That's for your free board listen for corrections coroner. In two weeks. He finished identities. Even it wasn't even close the grand tour fourteen minutes under par Molly weavers dirty. Weaver ride one hundred thirty kilometers around her. I seem parent's Back Garden. Yeah one thousand laps. Raising twelve thousand six hundred pounds for women's aid. The women's Aid Federation of England churned up the lawn a bit as well because it was a bit damp on Saturday but Again quite quite an effort cry to thirty pounds to that right and and accidentally clicked the anonymous Button is it bad to feel disappointed about that out episode of Curb your enthusiasm where Larry David has? He's donated money for a wing of the hospital. Villa Larry David Wing. And then there's there's another wing news. Well that is just demented by anonymous but the anonymous donor gets an awful lot. More Kudos than Larry David for having his name on it on everybody knows the anonymous donor is is Ted Danson. And so it's just a brilliant and we'll probably take the podcast. Well No. I think we should leave in well done for donating thirty pounds. Richard Chris. Boardman is being replacing bikes that. Nhs workers have been having stolen. I mean this is. This is kind of the best and worst of human nature in one go really. Isn't it the fact that people's bikes are being stolen? When Richard versus form of Non Asleep? Obviously there's quite a bit of racing going on on digital platforms. The digital Swiss starts tomorrow as we speak of Wednesday's five day stage race Forty six kilometers its longest distance they range between about twenty five kilometers forty kilometers on the start long. Roman bar a Remco ever Nepal Sam Bennett. Julian Felipe Bob. Young Greg Venema Primoz Rogue Lich Rohan Dennis Michael Matthews Vincenzo. Nearly Adam Yates Esteban Chavez. The might the might yet be a tool to Swiss digital version on the dates when the tortoise was gonNA take place but they all using some of the routes parts of the. We're going to be in the tortoise switch so Yeah Interesting Initiative Again. Put together very a very quickly and An Oak credit to everyone involved for doing that and yes should be interesting a good TV coverage BBC. You mentioned is on the F. in Germany on a lot of other major networks flow bikes thinking North America in Canada. So Yeah B B Following within Dhaka the host of life in the Peleton which is his podcast which is on our platform. Of course. He's taking part as well and I gather this morning with speaking on Tuesday. They're having a kind of a a rookie of the course. Checking that is checking. The computers are plugged in shrugging Samy shrugging. But we'll catch up or catch up with Mitch for his episode this week and we'll find out just what's in store with the Digital Swiss Race Bitta Company was going to do some actual real cycling. He's planning to have an assault on the hour record in London last week. this sort of sit up and take notice type story because Well the logistics of that would be significant. And the reason they didn't do it was because of the fear of of public backlash against the idea of doing it. I suppose it wouldn't have would have made social distancing diff- difficult in some ways of course riding a an hour record. You'll you'll just on your own on the track. But they'd have to be other people involved in order for it to be ratified and so on and I would have thought everyone's got a bit more on their plates at the moment anymore. Well no but when I saw I've seen quite a debate raging about this and I can sort of see both sides of it on his own thing. Any sport really wants to break ranks and be the first to resume. I suppose because they will call a flock. I Imagine Bob Dead's rang a few bells with the on. The Dow 'em proposal as well to hold tennis matches in his center. America where you can have quite a controlled environment. I guess you could get some of the top players together. Test them of not have a crowd and but you could get some kind of resumption of top level sport and those types of places and it did make me think that you know it is approved and I'm sure we will see in the next couple of months and you know valid rooms could be a way back for bite racing and this will not meet with Daniels down. You're on to say something I can tell you. Well no some other our record news and interview champs so that yesterday but the Dutch ride the retired Dutch rider thirty five years old Kai rouse used to ride around bank among other teams. He's career was badly affected by a bad accident. In two thousand seven. He was in a coma for eleven days but he has declared that he would like to go after. Victor companies his existing our record next year in April next year. You're right rich. Velodromes could be the the way. Cycling returns not with spectators of course. But what about an indoor grand tour on the track? I mean I put it to might woods. The valid velodromes could be away bike. He wasn't he wasn't hugely influenced by that but the third the thirty six day closed circuit races as well. Perhaps you know I mean we could just have flash alone You know M World Championship style. Races closed circuit. You know and I think one day races rather than stage races are more realistic but You know there are lots of lots of things to consider there he You mentioned Rohan Dennis well. He's he's had a difficult few days. He posted on Instagram Last week day thirty four cracked and left the house. Covet nineteen can suck my ass and so can quarantine. And then there was a backlash against that. And he's deleted his social media Meanwhile Phillips you bad was fine for riding outdoors in Monaco and got hundred year fine. He wanted to lapse of an eleven kilometer circuit. Apparently but I do think that particularly with Rohan Dennis You know they have a lot sympathy for people you know who are finding it. Very hard to be cooped up and when you compare what their lives were like before this. They've gone from one extreme to another. You know the rest of us. I work from home in an office. I'm I'm kind of doing an extension of why normally do anyway. But if you're used to coming out riding three four five hours a day outdoors scenery. Changing in the fresh air being cooped up must be taking a real strain on people in our thought that the the backlash was a bit unfortunate. I mean everyone. Everyone's entitled to inevitable racket. I don't post on social media than I'm not condoning a toll and what you did because the rules in Spain where he was are very very clear about Mike. Woods made the point that you know the the rules are while they're they're they're harsher in Spain than anywhere else pretty much. Although athletes got tight there hasn't th the last last couple of weeks. It is tough and I think I got a sense of that. Speaking to Jack. Hey Gloss week as well. There are some writers who will be coping tonight. Show thought ruined Dennis being a time triallist and probably not minding quite so much that the SAR training that that they'll be doing and might fair bathrobe. Furlong writers obviously being outdoors and having not freedom that you get from riding a bike and we'll be a big thing that they're missing. Well not just by right as everybody am. Everybody's mental health will be am underlaw strain with these constraints that we're all living under night just briefly away from the corona virus related stories the Ucla Ethics Commission has found the health mate cycle life team manager. Patrick Johnson is guilty of violating the UCS code of ethics. That this case has been going on over a year and now it's over to the disciplinary commission to decide what the sanctions will be. This stems from complaints by several writers about van Hanson's behavior and relates to appendix one of the Ucla Code of ethics which deals with protecting riser. Riders Physical Mental Health Sexual harassment and abuse and Well Richard You talked about this in a recent episode of this podcast feminine. Didn't you yeah. We've been covering the story a little bit in Psych podcast Femina and we will probably be covering it again Another episode coming next week. Actually podcast Femina originally to take in the R. N. Races obviously not the case but the episode was still come next week. It'll look at 'em mainly umph Luthan With an interview with her on her coach but we will cover some of this news as well and finally I'm back to the corona virus story and probably the most significant thing that happened in the last week or so. We did mention briefly in last week's episode The to France is planning to hold the race starting on August the twenty ninth day browser to send a team. Emails would put out of the tour. If it's not safe but I think it goes without saying that the event won't go ahead unless it is deemed safe by The French authorities It does kind of set the tone for how the resumption will go. I mean it seemed to me to be more about establishing a precedent that the Tour de France will take precedence when it comes to a resuming whenever that may be rather than a con. If they should've set in stone resumption date. I Don I yet. Although the the will be obviously races and I think the criterium de Dolphin it will be one of the the races leading up to that so the writers aren't just plunged straight into a grand tour and I was taken aback a little bit. I'm by some of the reaction to this announcement And some of the anger directed Aso for having the audacity almost to Come up with a plan for their for their race I it's almost as if people think that this is a decision that's motivated by considerations over money rather than health and as you say line. It's it's clear it's surely to everybody that this will not happen. Unless it's approved at the very highest level of French society and government and is not going to happen if the authorities in France who are obviously taking curve is extremely seriously deemed to be unsafe as so those conditions will have to be there for it to happen but You know I find all because for Aso the France is their business. And I think it doesn't matter what size of business you are big or small every business wants to resume its activity Because if it doesn't then the business ceases to exist and and I don't think the tour is any different to any other. Businesses seems to me completely understandable that they would want to hold their this year and be that they would want to come up with a plan for doing so is as early as possible. Yeah I was slightly dismayed by some of the commentary about it rich as well You know sort of opinion pieces pronouncements to the fact that were from cycling journalists with. Who to be honest I don't think really had any. We have any insight to bring to this situation yet beyond possibly and I think over the next two or three months reporting what is actually happening. Aso what they are actually trying to put in place vis-a-vis things like crowds and also what the the anti-doping authorities are putting into place which is a very very important Consideration as well but You know I don't think we have any real insight on the virus itself the spread of the pandemic You know the the Lee in in Europe and in the world of a baffled by certain aspects of you know what's happening with the virus How the body fights it. How the immune system reacts to it Estimates over the infection rate of varying hugely One of the while the main sort of mouth piece All of the effort the fight against Corona virus in Germany who has been held up Throughout the world is a great authority on it. Christian. Drostan Has BEEN ON TV in general this week? Sort of talking about the infection rate and hate even saying that he doesn't know whether it's nor point two or no point seven if you scale out to millions of people then talking about difference of of millions of people worst-case versus best-case. So we really. We really don't know so You know as these. These kind of opinion pieces almost accusing the tone of which he's almost two accused. Aso or ready of a crime that we don't we don't know when we suspect that minded to commit endangering imperilling the health of writers and they have to put a marker down they have to act as though the tool is going to happen but know how would we react to opinion pieces Sort of off of the or to the effect of NIREX must not dope up toward the France. This year I mean it's it's usually prejudicial and it's assuming that someone is going to do something which is which is damaging and unconscionable irresponsible stating the obvious. You know it's equally obvious to save a the tour will not go ahead unless it's deemed safe by the authorities but you also call on organized an event as complex as the Tour de France at the drop of a hat if they are looking at the end of August they they have to check the everytown signed up for a July June. July slaw is still happy to host. And the T. The logistics is a possible in the the money. Still that an all of those things have to be planned for and check. So it's it's really a case of. I saw doing the due diligence to ensure that when there is a resumption. They're able to to to put on a race. I can't just say okay lads The tour starts next Saturday on your new guy who they have to continue working as if there's going to be a resumption and then when they reach us kind of tipping point if August the twenty ninth is not realistic and I push it back. Then there's further discussion and further considerations. I I I don't see how they could really be expected to act in any other way. I don't think Daniel one of the points you made when we've been discussing this Over the last week is that the impression people may have the I sa is sort of an Amazon or Google facebook sized giant global business whereas in fact it's turn over his around about five hundred million euros a year which puts you in the same bracket as Manchester United which is football club. The tour at South apparently accounts for about one hundred and fifty million euros in turnover. Who famously secretive about these numbers. These these numbers are that Francois Tommaso is given as a well educated estimate but one hundred and fifty million turnover for the Tour de France. Put in the same so a bracket as league one football or the Scottish Premier League Richard Too. So it's not like it's the NFL of the Pinnacle of sport in other words. We're not talking about the NFL here or you know. The Olympic Games are we. We're talking Abou in the global sporting landscape. One of the minnows yet on the other side. The Tour de France is a hugely prestigious and important fixture in this French sporting and cultural calendar. And you know I don't see this too. It's off to expect them to do anything other than plan for going ahead at some point and Well you know we'll have to wait and see but they're not gonna do it if it compromises. The safety of riders the two spaces the writers and also the The spectators and highly manage the crowds. I think we don't know. Am I think people will still be doing a lot of south policing point and probably avoiding crowds? I don't know you can't rely on that but one thing I hadn't really thought about which M Mike Woods said. was a by the writers themselves and how vulnerable they might be to this infection. As you say Daniel. M reactions to vary enormously. We don't understand that yet. But what's clear is the You know we see with a lot. Health workers when immune systems are compromised. You can be more vulnerable to. It would appear on writers in the Third Week of a grand tour and certainly have compromised. Immune systems you know. When we wonder Ryan the buses you can see writers cold. Sores 'EM WRITERS. Who are ill who are fighting off coughs and colds and so on all signs of compromise. Immune systems and so. Here's what Mike. Woods had to say briefly on that classic athlete mentality. Where like you don't care really about your personal health care about the the pursuit of what you're doing in the glory of of winning and like I didn't on Till I was talking to somebody else about it. Aren't you actually worried about your own health? And I thought about it and like every time I do the zero for example I come apart from a lungs In the long. So I I. I get terrible. Seasonal allergies Every time I've done I've come down with a terrible case of bronchitis to Senate like I can hardly breathe. I think if if I were to have that and then I'll go get Virus second actually be person. That's you know extremely extremely vulnerable. So you got like you. Couple that with like grandeur riding. That doesn't necessarily. It's not like we were worried about spreading at that actually could be a real threat imagined for utter died because they did the tour so I thought that was quite interesting. Thought that by M I think there has been this perception that people had including myself that that this corona virus only really affects people who are either old or with underlying health problems and that. That's clearly the case in the majority of cases but not always and Mike Woods. They're acknowledging that he hadn't until recently considered himself potentially vulnerable to but who knows who knows exactly right rich. And you know the news He's moving so quickly at the moment. And hopefully people understanding and experts real experts understanding of how people are infected wider infected. When they're affected. We'll continue to move quickly and you know we are. We four months basically since the start of the outbreak. And it's more than four months until the Tour de France so a lot of these questions I don't really have to post Until for another few weeks yet I'm sure. So and more importantly the French government will be trying to onto them already. But you know we. We've talked a lost two years about particularly the Social Media Age Seeming to times to be more important to be first than to be rights or even reasonable. I never more so than the now. Do we need to remember that It is important to be rational and reasonable and take all time. Everyone T- that time In making judgments On this on the situation and I'm taking the right decisions and it is also worth pointing out or or or suggesting that as important as the Jiro in the classics and of Welter and and everything else is even the world championships. The two Franz. He's a the glue that holds the entire sport together. And I'm sure if you did a straw poll of the the the world to- teams and said which event is the most important to you. Commercially into your sponsors. Over the course of the season the the standout answer would pay the Tour de France. And so even just thinking from the point of view in the media. I mean from my days when I worked for a newspaper. If you if you'd set to the sports etta right cycling's back. Christopher Meghan Banal Darren Thomas. They're all going to be riding the Giro d'italia which is starting I It wouldn't punch the same hold as As a tutor. The Tutor Franz. He's on such a you know it's on the number two three shelves up from everything else. Isn't it Ju? Just to play devil's advocate a little bit line. I think a lot of race organizers have lost week or so and other stakeholders in selecting a bit aggrieved at the fact that it is the Tour de France clearly calling all the shots and so even the UCI is is moved in behind. Aso. And I'm not even a press release sort of making it very clear our calling the shots and some people will feel and suddenly. The lights of Jira organizers will feel that They've been probably poorly treated here and also this is. Maybe a missed opportunity to re redress some of that balance. That Y- is it healthy to have the of France exerting all must have monopoly in terms of influence over the sport. This was maybe an opportunity to to give more parity voice and an opportunity to some of the other races. Well somebody I asked the by the the the redesign calendar and the chances of it happening is affirmative. France winner the S. He won the third of France. Gary Thomas didn't he famously Having not been written off by anyone at all a guarantee Thomas Twenty eighteen hundred Franz winner. I spoke to him as I mentioned earlier while he was pedaling away on his State two of his three day. Twelve hour challenge to raise money for the Anti Chess. Who's a home in Cardiff? 'em Here's what you had to say Gary Thomas How are you actually? How many hours no five to go go? Yeah just I think Yesterday I forgot to eat. Stop the right so busy doing interviews and Stephan Stipe dropping out and all this technical stuff so a bit of a price that I saw as well is going in the old You'll end the courage well with your experience of yesterday. I mean is this about the toughest part. You're just just over halfway through of you figured I is it like a long haul flight when the third to fourth or the worst. Yeah just been China. My wife actually and not just saying this has gone to the middle of the day. Obviously as the Ha this is this is the last day. And he cut discount down to the actual insurers. You know the whole obviously started yesterday. So you do the interviews about about it. A bit of a buzz around a bit of a bit of a lull really so even though say not this. Donations is still coming in so. That's really good to see that it will basically I just need to stop smash coffee machine now while the solvency why the Sheffield my coal for this time just to maybe lift you up. Yeah definitely definitely to tell you that you can definitely Is Not fanciful adults. Imagine that you're GonNa you're gonNA compact this challenge. What was the what was inspiration for a while? I wanted to do something because obviously any Austin a team that hands on projects that the hand sanitizers are not supplying it to the hospitals all of the UK. Obviously a team. I wasn't directly involved in other not see anything so I wanted to do something You know my man went back to work. mother-in-law used to be a midwife You know my best mom the GP up in hearing all the stories about what they're doing So yeah I just thought the best reality could help out contribute in any small value. John money in a child's people. I'm going to meet the right hundred miles. They really mirror any just cause shifts Not some come up with the idea of doing three back to back twelve hour rides in while I'm thinking not just one but we have ray so much so good on you. I mean you obviously have. Direct sort of experience are people who are very much on the front line and have you had a sense from them of of just how tough things are. Yeah I think lucky on well wrong. But my mom officers console hospital so that ready so vulnerable so. They woke up with the the P. P. or the protective stuff so that while Dr not regard while may up north is not too bad at the moment. So they're doing okay but just the situation in the country in the Principality Stadium mccaw with you know being converted into a temperate hawks all just Bonkers ready so I'm just seeing Edwards. Doing it was not doing anything you know. It's not like I'm Ray. So training with locked in so Saint Holocaust six months old so dealing with him is still on. I could do of a race to be honest. Twelve twelve hours away from the six months old. That's not that's something least. Extreme in three twelve hour is just to get away from six months alphabet. See How are you finding it? Generally I mean you know your three four weeks into training more well more or less exclusively endorse I mean. How do you find that generally up kind? Okay hide break at the whole lockdown because authentic big big block of training since how Gov. I started a Wall Street after the race. Obviously Toronto is also kept training and then so the first week or so. I was just chilling recovering really so the main thing at the moment is to spend trying to maintain fitness will not put too much weight on Which is hard when you're locked in the house really in the kitchen is just the thrill. Full Fridge by easy to be consequences. Go in and stuff and can sniff out he. I spend as been as bad as what you know. If you told me. Stop is going to happen But in the main thing is mentally stay in trying to stay fresh and on it and now all the news was it today yesterday. Yeah Yeah with talk. She has a day. It gives us something to work towards whatever happens or not is another question but at least Dayton now so yeah I mean psychologically is important to just Luca a time where you know there. At least there are at least racist kind of in the calendar. Nine yeah it helps the show like full and we're kind of like just. Yeah keep training like. When are we going to race either? No but just keep trying at least there is a date now on hopefully the talking head because the Pinnacle Island especially in the UK has if you ask anyone say about like the Toro Yellow Jersey Oksana will be in there so Hopefully hopefully it happens. How how difficult I mean presumably you? I mean we're still alive. Site in the UK and presumably locked in restrictions will be eased a bit so riders will be able to train on the roads but they'll have spent a long time not training on the roads and not racing host trains with that would not be you know during the tour after two or three weeks of racing. You think we'd see some unusual results. Yeah I think it could be a very different tone off Especially different countries that people in France have been fully lockdown for awhile now You know like you say at least in the UK took out in the roads with that Gee think to go on. It's all just be great Sula Obviously if the to- happens that means a safe to do so and we're out of the west of that so I'll just be happy to be racing bike again but in the setting. Rathi you you WanNa win while you WANNA be conformed So y'all interesting. I think it will be a big big variety. Speaking speaking to some writers a law writers seem to think that that some will cope better than others with this dynamic expect. There are writers out there who are looking as opportunity thinking if I don't crack if I keep a disciplined and if I start the fridge and on the the brains beer stay off the brains beer you know it could be an opportunity to come back in and be pretty competitive is how you think as well. Yeah definitely nothing. There's a lot of guys that will You know I think the top guys especially juicy guys are not. I think they'll all be you know that kind of have a strange lifestyle. Anyway you know bit weird on so it just. I think they'll be able to train while they don't put too much weight on any way problem for me is I would see in the winter. I do let my hair down on the white comes on then do away on quite easy anyway. So has the biggest. Challenge me at the minute but Yeah I think people will be Back on the roads in racing. I think there'll be a big variety for three people's level like think though some be some around sixty percent nobody ever guys still you know ninety off And Yeah like you say if there's only a month six weeks race in the photo then he'll be really interested in like I think that last week we'll just be while these everywhere on the we could get. We could definitely surprised like maybe not surprise winner. Bubba surprise podium. Some guys in the top ten. You'd be really expect that it'll be interesting for the funds anyway. How much do you? I mean your your team as as a big sponsor but obviously some teams are quite vulnerable to their not being racing. How much do you worry about? The the the waiter spore implications of this on the on the sport professional cycling. Worry I think a good thing if the towers on help those teams massive leakers for them only ninety eight. Sam Why is the sponsors in this ball? Come into the tour they come into they want to be in. It's off on a win. That's all Throughout for it to happen I think that would be a big plus point for them The whole economy is struggling at the moment. The Way Ospel. If there's no solely reliant on sponsorship but if one of those companies go to the hot time then you know. The money put into a team might be one of the first things they cut. So it's tough but Yeah hopefully West grow at quicken the BOC race in the Bhakta policy. But obviously and foremost we gotta be safe. I mean I. I got the impression just following on social media that you had a really good through the you put in a lot of work this winter so it must be. It must be massively frustrating not able to to race and show you know. Show show the fruits about work. Yeah it is yeah like. I did a good winter. Golf is decent and Ostrov felt like already made a good step forward like I said before. Outta group blockers training already. Training was decent house. Ready for you know a good see Rhino. Obviously Con Focus on to Cox Lucia even though the Donavan reportedly cancelled as well but while postponed to ask for straighten. But it is what it is on You know there's nothing you can do about. It is open done for the right reasons. You just have to stay positive. And keep go controls and sustained greg one really but it definitely except before long hill other guys walk a lot guys will come out ready. Good others will take a while to get going.
