"All in one There's one more legs to the stool, and that's this as a follower of Jesus Christ. The way to become really content is to realize that really, security in life is found in our relationship with Jesus Christ. It's not found in money anyway. Can we really be honest with each other here? Let's do that. Why is it that you and I love money as much as we do? We all love money. Let's be honest. Why is it that we love money so much? Why is it that we want Money. Well, I'll tell you the main reason it's because when we've got money in the bank, we feel secure when we got money in the bank, if we feel like we're little insulated were a little protective from the uncertainties of life If you got $50,000 in the bank, okay, if the dishwasher breaks big deal, Okay, If your car gets banged up a little bit, you can fix the fender. Okay, if the air conditioner goes, okay, Whatever. I got a little protection. I got a little edge. And it makes us feel a little secure. Now, here's the question. Is having money in the bank really make us secure. I mean, hey, listen, If that were true, Elvis would have been the most secure person on the globe. He wasn't If that were true, Princess Di would have been the most secure woman on the earth. She wasn't That doesn't really produce security in our life. Look what Paul says here in verse. 12, he says, I have learned the secret of being contempt. Will Paul, What's the secret? Please tell us the secret Willy will verse 13. I can do anything through him. Jesus Christ, Who gives me strength? The secret to Paul's contentment was he wasn't dependent on money for his security. He wasn't depending on his bank account for his contentment. He said. As long as I've got Jesus Christ, I can't do anything I'm ever called upon to do. My security is rooted in Jesus. My relationship with Jesus. The fact that Jesus Christ goes with me. Everywhere I go. It's not rooted in how much money I have. And you know that's what he wrote and told Timothy First Timothy 6 17, he said, command those who are rich in this present world not to put their trust in wealth, but to put their trust in God. That's where security is my son, John. He's 17. He was driving home Monday on the Beltway coming home from school on the inner loop of the Beltway Coming towards the Wilson Bridge and hey, was looking over his shoulder, trying to locate where the state trooper and gone God been behind him, and it disappeared from the mirror. He was trying to figure out where he was. I don't ask me why I cared where state trooper was. But anyway, he was trying to find him. Well, what happened is the people in his lane He was in the far left lane came to a complete stop. And when he turned around the problem was he was still going 65 miles an hour. He had virtually no time to break and just hit the brakes and slammed into this guy in front of him completely totaled our car knocked this guy across all three lanes onto the right shoulder of the Beltway. And the state trooper. When I got there was still waiting to talk to me said and I quote Mr Solomon, he said. When I got the report on the radio of the kind of accident just was, he said. I totally expected To find Theo is when I got here, dead on arrivals. My son John got out of the automobile walked away. No broken bones, not a cut, not even a bruise on his body. Now That's the grace of God. Friends. Let me tell you something when you're about to plow into a stopped car on the Beltway at 60 Miles an hour. There is no amount of money in the world That's going to provide you any security. You want Jesus Christ next to you when you're about to hit that car, in fact. Any time you drive on the Beltway. You want Jesus Christ next to you in that automobile when you're facing surgery, and you'll get wheeled into that operating room. That doesn't matter how much money you have in the bank. You don't want that bank account book laying on the stretcher with you. You want Jesus Christ walking next to you into the operating room when we send our Children and our grandchildren out into this uncertain world. It doesn't matter how much money we got in the bank. That's not going to provide any security for them. We want Jesus to walk with them. And let me tell you when you get ready to face the grave and eternity, my dear friend, not make a bit of difference. How much money you got? You're not even gonna care. You're gonna want Jesus Christ next to you. If you're here today, and you've never trusted Christ is your real and personal savior. I'm here to tell you Madison Avenue has sold you a bag allies. You will never find security and how much you have. You will never find security in material wealth. It's not there. Security comes from knowing Hebrews 13 5, Jesus said. I will never leave you. Nor will I ever forsake you. Even if you're about to plow into a car going 60 on the Beltway, you can count on it. I'm going to be there for you not that's real security. So let's summarize what we learned today. Here's what we've learned friends. We have learned that in order to be content, it means that we have got to see the world through the lens of biblical truth. We can't see the world through the lens of Madison Avenue. We'll never get there. And if we're gonna handle money, God's way, we've gotta start from the foundation ofthe being content. Because being content is the only way we could be generous and being generous lies at the heart of handling money, the way God tells us And how is it that we get really contentment? Where we've gotta believe three things number one. We've got to believe that God is in total control of how much I have or don't have. Number two. We've got to believe that whatever Well, God has chosen to give me at this moment in time. It's because he knows that's what's best for me. And number three. We got to believe that our security lies in our relationship with Jesus anyway, not in how much money we got. Here's my challenge to you. Do you really believe these three things? I'm not instant whether in the Bible I know they're in the Bible that matter. Do you really believe this? Is this how you see your money? Is this how you see your material? Wealth? Is this how you see your life? Because friends unless we see our life this way, we will never be truly content people. We will never be able to build a system of biblical money management. I want to challenge you to ask yourself. Is this really how I see my money? How I see my material well, and if it isn't, then I've got a suggestion. Ask God to help you change the spring. Where? Jesus. Thanks for talking to us today about money. You know that's a subject. We all deal with. And you know that Madison Avenue screams at us. A message.

"Speaking of which Jamie Lynn is having a comeback so happy for her. I I am thrilled I really like her. Yeah, she really got like written off in the industry when she got pregnant. Which is like? To, think about it like in terms of like twenty twenty lake, so fucked up like in the fact, that only happened like ten or twelve years ago. Like wow, okay, nickelodeon L. Year like You're in business. The bike child molesters so lake cool, you know your biggest problem is not Jamie Lynn Spears getting pregnant so I'm happy. She got like a series regular role on. Steel Magnolias, that's that's what I'm referencing for her comeback if you will. That's actually such a good point because that happening nowadays like a would. Barely it would make news for like a few hours. No one would I feel like would even bat an I am curious to know like what the data is on teen pregnancy because I feel like we had such a fixation on teen pregnancy back then and now like there is no such. Fascination with it, so that also makes me wonder like is teen. Pregnancy down, or are we just talking about it less as a? Yeah I. Don't know, but you're right. It did seem like it was like a fucking epidemic, and like I don't hear about teen pregnancy, like at all anymore or the concept of Lake here eighty because you remember when they meet the Jonas brothers like publicly where promised springs like when they were still really like new in the Disney industry in like they had to be like the golden children of perfection in Miley Cyrus to like when she took such a like. Amend when you publicly. Denounce stat like Miley Cyrus just no I'm taking this this ring off like fuck you I now do do I'm I'm assuming that they do. Do you think Disney and nickelodeon still hold their like child and Teen Stars to that like strict of a of a standard. I wonder if it's more around the concept of don't create a scandal rather than like. Don't do this specific thing. Yeah, it's probably like really insidious. It's probably like they probably can't call it like family values, but there's probably still lake some wording that they use that as As like an umbrella term for like not rocking the boat of lakes, a lot of concepts, and even that's widen out like I'm sure it still exists because I know like era like Miley Cyrus like the sprouse twins I they really talk about like Demi Levato like ironclad. Fist, Lake Yeah Disney like ruled with, but yeah. I wonder if it's still like that now. Just because I like aged out of that leg groups I, don't hear about it. It must still be because like better. No think of like my my most recent, Disney. scandal that comes to mind is like the Lizzie. McGuire Disney plus scandal by like wanted to talk about like Saxon stuff with like you can. This is Disney class than Hillary was like. Can we just live at Hulu? Yes, much talked about that on a podcast like two episodes ago, possibly usually right. They were like we can't show this and Hillary is like, but it's a thirty year olds character. This is like what real life would look like he's like. Please let us like shops around to like other. Subsidiaries. Because it's all the Disney family like if love, victor can do it like come on, Yeah Love Victor's on Hulu, rape Yeah, they made the move successfully. Yeah, and I was also thinking of the bull type which is on free form. anyways I just WANNA wrap this up by saying Jamie Lynn. We love you. We're happy for your success. Britney keep posting content. Thank you for rereleasing glory I been listening to it nonstop Oh. Can we talk about mood ring? super-quick, 'cause what Bob can you believe? That previously was only available in Japan. Yeah, why did she pick? Japan it's it's like a thing for some reason like the Japanese. deluxe edition for like pop albums. I don't know why like. Pop albums in general, but like really the only week a pedia pages that I read albums. Frankly so perhaps it's not just pop up. It's always like Japanese the Alexa dish. And they got like three extra tracks around like hey. What but I like I? Get it like probably like there is probably like a big fan of their went. Not Yeah, I just remember. All of is Britney Spears's like Pepsi ads in Japan and stuff like that, which a sometimes they come up on my instagram, and I've just like obsessed. I will I will like watch anything nineties, which just a call back to the beginning of the episode Gen. Z. Hates that we. Have, Nostalgia. Sorry my. Not Old enough to have nostalgia literally right I mike sorry for like wanting simpler time in my life. Meka when things are hectic, you know I appreciate the time where I just got to sit and relax, not constantly wait for the economy to collapse around me and watch my dream of owning a home shatter in front of me every five years. But I think also says something for the fact that Jen's have just like grown up in crisis. They don't know anything different. That's so true. Maybe they'll be like. Maybe it will be like more functioning than us because that will just be their normal. Resilience compared to us where you think about Oh. You one of those kids who ever save your video games six times before ending. You probably have anxiety now. Oh my God. That's so funny. Yeah, you're probably right. They'll probably become more resilient people than us the same point. Can you build resilience if you haven't gone through something now so? No very true I'm the last thing we want to talk about. Was Kristen Stewart I'm really hit or miss with Kristen Stewart like I feel like I like her as a person, but I think twilight being her like kind of big not debut role because you had that spy movie so I don't want to. You're talking about Charlie's angels Oh now. As kids spy Oh okay. I'm not familiar with this I was like. Are you really about calling Charlie's angels? Charlie else? When she was like a kid like probably like ten, she was a spy movie that was actually like so good like she was like a hidden covert spy, and like saved the world from like corrupt like business. Wow War, so that was her debut role, but like her she was shot to like start from twilight, which I didn't love. So I'm like kind of hit or miss on Kristen sewer. What are your thoughts? One thing man still trying to figure out when Tori I told me that she was cast as Princess Di like something that icon Eq I had to google it to confirm and I found this article. That quotes the director of his upcoming bio PIC that says I've seen movies from kristen that are so diverse. It's incredible, showing different layers and her diversity and strength as an actress and I'm sitting here, thinking. You're talking about Bala Suon. Your ear, talking about even to be honest her like Charlie's angels. I'm still not sure how I feel about that. But. I'm trying to understand why they picked kristen. Stewart for this role like anyone can physically transform themselves to look like the character cast to play. But how is she going to bring? Such an iconic personality toll life I. Don't understand because I've never seen her show that range of. Actually embracing the character that she's cast as yeah long story short, she was cast as Princess Di, and the the Internet blew up and I think the main concerns that people bring up is. Princess is like the warmest friendliest kindest person where just like radiates off of her like voice and mannerisms. And Kristen is like to cool. She's like cool and edgy and like. She's too cool for warmth. I don't know so I. Am I think the other thing is actually dare I want to hear that I want to hear your thoughts before I. Jump Into My my secondary points. Love Okay Yeah. I I am full other side of the spectrum like I dig. It I was like what A. Choice. Honestly I think that is I think this gives her such a phenomenal opportunity to break type. And there was some lake. There was some quote from the director of the fighter which, like not a great movie, but like great performances because this was the first movie where amy. Adams was not playing the good girl she played. This girl named Charlene in director has. has some quote that's like there's nothing more powerful than an actress who's trying to break type so I think this is such an interesting opportunity for Kristen because she has that reputation, Lakers saying which is that she's like to cool. She's like Kinda like.

Which with this measles scare going on is actually. Because it affects of. Turns turns men into women coordinating gang. Alex Jones allowed on anything anymore. Jio cities today. All right. You know, what I what did I say we're gonna I was gonna finish talking about Pelosi and Bill bar. Yeah. I've decided to push that to the next hour. I am sick. I'm just I'm just going with what I like if I I don't know maybe the audience just can't get enough of it. But I know I get home, and I just a void the hell out of it. I don't care. I don't care about your show CNN MSNBC morning. Joe ABC news. Guess what? I'm an American. I understand there's going to be an election in eighteen months or so and the American people can figure this out. And if this guy is so dangerous, and he's so horrible. The American people have all the power in their hands to do something about it. So I'm just going to go ahead and trust the American people more than morning, Joe or clowns who bring Kentucky Fried Chicken. Yeah. Those are the people who are saving the Republic the ones with the Kentucky Fried Chicken stunts. They're the guardians of our Republic. Anyway, I'm talking about it. I said, I wouldn't I have things to say I'll push to eleven o'clock. Hell I might push it to Monday for all. I know. Let's enjoy ourselves a little bit doesn't mean we can't cover something. What went on with this guy from migos? That's what I want to not know this story. Yeah. I think he slapped a cell phone out of a fans hand store in sandy springs. Yeah. It's an who's the guy from Migo? He's the one who is with Cardi B. Right. That's right. Yeah. Off sell off. So real name. That's his real name versatility off off his last name suck offset. So thomas. Yes, james. I don't know. Now, I'm not going to say much about this because I don't wanna get beat up. Sometimes, you know, local radio gets involved this stuff. The next thing. You know, you you're in. You're the next guy getting punched out, but I will say this. I saw there's a there's a. The guy. So he's in a target. He's walking out, obviously, there's a fan and one of the fans is he's doing a video. So so he wants people to say, hey, look, I just saw offset. So in order for the guy that turned his phone on my is he's a fan of migos. He's a fan of offset maybe even further than that fan of Cardi B the whole universe. And if you watch this he just kind of comes around comes into the shot, and then he has something in his hand. And he just obviously knocks the cell phone down to the ground. And so now he's in trouble. Did you get arrested or is he looking he's in trouble for property damage, the iphone eight they're saying it's worth eight hundred dollars minutely destroys completely. But the way the thing is a cool thing to watch actually because ends with. But you know, I'll just say this. I'm gonna go any further because I don't want to get beat up over my commentary. I'm just I just want to go back to Roswell could security Roswell. It's just me my deck, and my Gumy's so offsets listening. No. But I mean, you know, how to say it will get back to if offset was listening that wouldn't be a problem. If if it's if it's somebody relating to offset what I said and getting it wrong. That's where it becomes a problem. But this is not about offset necessarily. It's like, hey, you're a celebrity you have money you've done. Well, you deserve every dollar. You have you deserve every fan that you have obviously talented, dude. And you put your stuff out there. People buy it. They like it. That means they like you. That means that you're a celebrity in there is by the way, that's puts money in your pocket because they like you. They buy your music. They go to your shows. That's they like you. Now, here's the thing. That's your job. Your job is your a musician slash celebrity. Now. Here's the news. This isn't just for offset. But anybody listening every job, no matter how much you love your job has the sort of the downside, the things that you don't like you may find this is a lot of people who are plumbers who love their job. They love doing what they do. But guess what? I opened my own plumbing business, right? I love it on my own person the paperwork, right? There's always a downside. Right. I love going out hands on doing stuff fixing things. I gotta do the paperwork. I hate doing that every job has its downside. And that's true about the job of being an artist slash celebrity. It's not everything isn't great. And sometimes the things that make it great fans celebrity itself. Become the downside, just as the guy who opened his own plumbing business who loves doing his work, but hates the paperwork that he has to do. Around the business you as a celebrity sometimes you're out in public and people are going to turn on their phones and be really excited that you around. That's your version of the plumbers paperwork, everything you can't turn it on and turn it off. This was my problem with. Princess Di before she. Ended up dying very young. But my problem with her was always that happened because she was playing cat and mouse with the 'paparazzi because she hated the 'paparazzi, and she didn't understand the same thing. I think that this guy doesn't understand when it comes to celebrity. You cannot turn it on and turn it off. There's no switch for it. You're either a celebrity and you deal with that the good and the bad or you're not a celebrity in Princess Di's case she wanted she she cared about land mines all over Europe that were unexploded and kids in Africa as well. And kids would just be walking in a field. Have no idea and lose limbs that was your 'cause now she brought a lot of attention to that. 'cause why was there a lot of attention to that? 'cause because she would show up and give a press conference. And because she was the famous Princess Di everybody would show up and Eric von Hessler in the state of Georgia in the United States would see that she cared about landmines. And this was an issue. That's fine. Which she didn't understand is. You can't turn that on turn on that celebrity for the things that you think are good, and and then turn it off because I just wanted to go out and dance tonight. It's not possible. You have to understand this. And for I agree with Charles Barkley. I was watching some basketball early this year and just kind of came up, and he was saying he was comparing him with some aloof basketball player, and he was comparing and he said, you know, it's like celebrities who won't give autographs, you're always wrong. If you're a celebrity and somebody asks you for an autograph, and you say, no, that's your business. That's your business all business needs maintenance. And so when you go out and people like, you, you should be signing autographs going, you know, what I'm gonna be feeding my family for a good long time. So long the day. Nobody asked for the autograph or ask for the selfie. That's when you're in trouble. That's when you better. Hope you got good financial advice. Why things were good? But as long as people. Are asking for self fees and asking for autographs, that's that's job security, and that's the way that you should look at it. And you can't like with Princess Di you can't turn it on and turn it off your celebrity now, you can go hide behind a big wall. Right. I mean, you can build a fence around a large property and could get. I do I do you. You'd never say no to a selfie. Like all three. I love the woods. It's just it's a job at. Nope. There's no job that everything is great about it. No matter. How matter how much you love it. I I love my job. I gotta come in every day deal with Jared goofiness. Tim's. On looking Scottish until she puts her bake up on a lot of things. Not all it's not all you know, Rosal. Luckily, we were able to cover of your story when you were in the apple store, and.

Did you remember very clearly when you got the news? We could not believe that what we were hearing was actually something. I. That someone would just randomly shoot John Lennon. Did you hear? Did you hear it the night at happened or not until the next morning? Look a lot of people. And we were just sitting here. They came across on television on we're sitting there. My wife was pregnant with a child would just diet. Just really awful. I was a kid. But do you remember how at first they were not entirely sure it was him. How they kept saying that a man that matches Lenin's description was being taken to the hospital. But they were not announcing that it was in the first. Flipping around. Yeah. Yeah. It was pretty awful. Think of that. People should everybody. But. An odd thing that what making eighty or maybe on the end of eighty eighty. During football season. That's all I remember because didn't Howard Cosell break the news late at night during the broadcast. I think so. But I think that's what happened and Chapman just sat down. Yeah. Yeah. He was carrying that copy of catcher in the rye for some reason, very often. That's like the killers preferred novel to read, and he just sat down waited for the cops to come and started reading so weird. Joe thanks for you comb, another Joe from Asbury park, you're on New Jersey one on one point five. Yeah. I have to say bobbin Williams. I mean, when I heard that he had committed suicide, I couldn't imagine you know, what kind of problems he was having that he couldn't get help. And, you know, basically growing up, you know, watching him start out with the more from or know, and and then onto was movie career in the guy was just constant, you know, comic. But nobody knows what kind of, you know, oppression people who are suffering. Well, I'm sure you read after the fact like all of us. Learn this that he had a lifelong, basically. Yeah. He basically had lifelong depression and only those really close to him even knew about it. And he was he was such an energetic guy too. He was just such like a ball of energy. You can't imagine somebody that full of life craving death. Yeah. Or sitting in darkened room, even you know, you're right. He was he was like this ball of energy. Joe, thanks for your call. He was if an mistaken, he trained at Juilliard, I think you're right, which you know, it's funny because like trained at Juilliard, and then he was like in the San Francisco comedy clubs seen those two things don't seem to really go with each other. And then when you think of, you know, always this goofy character this one off on happy days, and that gets turned into this more from work Morgan Mindy. Nobody would ever guess he was like a Juilliard got. But then you look at his later stuff. Goodwill, hunting goodwill, hunting, dead poet's society. Probably not a lot of people saw this. But I thought he was amazing in one hour photo for anybody. Who knows that one? I mean, he did some really serious and sometimes dark stuff. And then he also did MRs Doubtfire it's like is it just such a cool career arc how he was slowly getting true dramatic acting in. I we're talking about celebrities that we lost and some for whatever reason hits you more than others. And and who are some of those that just really really got you a lot of people talk about Princess Di this way. I remember it. It was a Saturday morning that I was watching the today show. Uh-huh. Expecting the today show, and it was wall-to-wall coverage of the death of Princess Di it's about all I remember I was living in Lawrenceville at the time. And watching Princess Di yeah. Same like, not speaking ill of her anything. But I just was not I've ever been that riveted with Royal me. Neither I've always had kind of a disdain for the whole concept of you're better than someone. Just because of who your parents were. Antithetical to the American ideal. I was never a big fan of the royals. It's like, okay. They're going to get to the sports anytime soon or is this all going to be prince's daily. Well, look we have calling in. We have a note next to her name. And now for a dissenting opinion. Hey, Mary Marianna turnpike guy. So for you. It was Princess Di we're being sold. It was scary. Really why why did you love her so much? What she's a teacher? I was always wanted to be teacher. And I love that Jesus preschool teacher. She was really good with kids. And I thought that was amazing. And then, you know, thirteen and when she got married, I listen to listen to the wedding on the radio because we were South Carolina out of occasion has no television. I was so pissed. Anyway. Other went around like all the trying to find a TV with rent a good guy. And then so better time, you know, that she had her kids how she, you know, raise them, and I just I just I just love and I hate Chris Charles. I can't stand him, and I don't want to be happy. And then she died on the same kind of you're trying to baby. And you know, it's a long story. And you know, and then she died. It was time for me personally. And I just when this other kid walk behind the casket on the God. I remember that. Anyway. I do actually remember that. And I remember funeral little. Yeah. It's not like even so much of it. I think I saw in clips after the fact I didn't watch it. I know I didn't so must have been clips. But I do remember that because I remember having the fought after JFK died and his little boy. And I think it was only like three years old. Do you? Remember the salute? Yes, do you. Remember the little salute less? He did. And and it was like heartbreaking because the gravity. Probably couldn't really be known to him. Right. But but he was saying goodbye was daddy. This building's been burning for two and a half hours and just now the one measly stream of water flown in on. How's that the French were there Notre Dame cathedral in two years? I mean unbelievable. So apparently, there's you know, obviously outside is is brick and stone and everything, but the beginning of the building was built in like, I think eleven sixty three something like that. And but inside all the thirteen thousand oak trees were cut down in the twelfth century to build all the structures and the buttresses and things like that. And that's what's going up right now. I saw the movie Hunchback another name. I never liked the place ever since. Then they didn't treat that guy. Right with the bad back now that instrumentation. They didn't train them right now. They've always been cowards there yellow belly cowards. And there always will be cowards. So I wanna start on the French. I don't like the French to say now, Rachel. Always always rocketed question. I asked you he won't answer it. Yes. He will. Tiger Woods is three aspects of his life number one physical breakdown. Yes. Kelly. Ten days back four, Mike. You have all those problems. You don't want him to build a wall because it's bad. Right. And he needs to get some sort of special permission. But the wall that he's going to see today in the new design of that wall was actually commissioned by Obama. And by the way, Obama's build a good majority of the wall that's out there through his administration this time as president. But it was okay, then, but because it's the spirit in which the wall was being built. I think is the way that people will spend it. So stupid. Oh my God. This is what politics is. In fact, we're going to break down something that's in the USA today that more people should be paying attention to. And it's it is really interesting what they've broken down, and what they call essentially, it's.

I'm sorry. I'm finding this funny in this upright, your taste. What I find it. Really funny is the part where once that alarm goes off it locks down that part of the door. And so the FOX reporter got trapped in there, and they had to rescue him the other reporters had to go. What happened to Bill Bill go, and they had to go track down there tweeting about their perilous rescue of next we Terrance same as Terrence from FOX forty six is like, Dan, rather when he was in the front lines, Vietnam, just like that same thing. Yeah. Yeah. Tunnels. Yeah. Oh, man. Yes. And so that that was that story in in in a nutshell, and it's getting a lot of play there. But yeah, the part where reporters getting trapped, but also the part where you're going through an emergency exit. And he is running. I'm sorry. There's no one or what we'll call it the super fast walking to get across the street where a car was parked. I get why you don't want to deal with Dan. And I don't think you're gonna get a fair shake in in in that mob. But also man that was that's 'paparazzi Princess Di was as aggressively followed, okay? I think there's going to be my go-to move from no one. Whenever you Brian the bad up a meeting post show meeting in Kansas. Flee? It's gonna fleet down the stairwell and hit the fire alarm or the sale UCS salesperson coming up the hall sales, medium out. All right. Well, let me know how that goes for the alarm again. Yes. An awkward. It was an awkward little moment. But just the audio so insane. And then you get a reporter trapped. And his buddies have to tweet about the rescue of the reporter. "We'll get into this shade here is than in. No, there are some listeners of from this era. Belong. Timeless knows that. I'm not a big fan of ole music called oldies music, which would be the music of the nineteen fifties in particular, right? Like chantilly lace Shirai Bill. Do I like chantilly lace, which take we'll see? I don't know if it's actually an oldie song or nad. Yeah. This is where it gets miss. He I do like LA Bamba in a liquid name, the big Bopper and you'll yeah, I guess, it's a complicated. And yeah. Like the blues brothers. I don't know if they're connected to the fifty so Bill. You're right, though, they do play into the tach tonight sappy, which I guess you already know. So it would I so, yeah, it's like a strange strange relationship a strange to strained relationship with music in the nineteen fifties. A which I'm just categorizing based on my own window, which is very narrow. So when I say, oldies, I guess they just mean the music may parents like maybe that'll be the way it is for my daughter, and I said to myself, this is interesting in then recently. So then Bill earlier this summer in guessing for us. It was the spring when we recording episodes about great New York state fair. Right. It was June. You're right Bill. We recorded those in. We're talking about the free cancers to see fair and shun on knock came up in a new that was like some sort of band related to nineteen fifties music in. There was a TV show that I may have seen as a kid. But I didn't really remember. And I remember, I remember bows. Earlier was he was the base of the boss Nova, whatever the person with the deep voice into tallest of this Jonah as in other than that at this Bill. I didn't really remember. I said, Ooh, I don't know that too. There's something about these nineteen fifties in things that it's a repelling me away noticing some sort of charge there. Right Bill, right. Is so thin would happen. So I had in my mind, then in then my daughter went and saw. Aw. A local version of the musical grease. And immediately from that point forward insisted on singing in listening to the music of the from the musical grease over and over again in it brought me back to saying. Hey, went did have a c I mean, I remember the music of Greece though, some of it was a surprise to me. Bill O. Yeah. Should explain? What Greece's you're right Bill, and then Shannon as more for a slow reveal though. Okay. So Greece was a musical that. I believe came out in like, I don't know when a hit Broadway. I guess we could look it up. Let me give you my impressions, a it was a musical on Broadway. Then it was a movie. In the seventies. And it was starring John Travolta in a Livia. Newton. Jan in. It was a musical about that took place in the nineteen fifties in Canada, celebrated the musical genre e end just as the fifties experience. You you think? Correct Bill barely right. I mean. But that's what I remember about him. I think I saw the movie grease to in. I'm not even kidding like mostly, and I don't even know in. Then I did have huge crush v. Newton Jan in L. So used to get living Newton, John and prince's this might sound wild to some people, but Princess Di and living Newton John mixed a just in my head or is able to remind me of each other. And they one another, and they would give me that good feeling. You know, wasn't a giant crush living. Newton. Jan maybe. Yeah. Just was I guess Bill. I don't know if I was comfortable saying that I was just attracted to her. But I guess I'll use your words. I think it was more. So, but I didn't really watch is a grease musical Somme traction didn't stem from that in that may be the first time. I saw Greece probably wasn't when it came out. It was my many years later. After I'd seen Greece to you're right in American. Sure. Remember who the lead was increased to kind of in that. I can't really remember anything else. Right. And then there was the okay? Let's let's take one thing at a time though. Billets naked ahead of ourselves. You want like about outsiders, another movie did see but like afterwards..
