We're approaching the 50th anniversary of the battle of the sexes where Bobby Riggs and Billie Jean King played each other. Remember that, September of 1973, Mr. President? I do, I do. Were you pulling for Bobby or were you pulling for Billie Jean at that time? Well, I just was pulling for good entertainment, and it was, you know, he beat Margaret Court Smith, who may have been the greatest woman player of all time, and he beat her. And I don't know that she knew she was playing in a match of such importance, but it became a very big deal. And then she challenged him and she won, and she won conclusively. I watched that night, she definitely won. The reason I bring up, 90 million people watched that. 90 million people. And the only thing I think that might draw an audience that even approaches that would be if you were to sit down with the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, and Prince Harry, they don't like you much. Would you do that for the ratings? Well, I don't know that they don't like me. I said that I don't think they're very appropriate what they're saying, what they're doing. And I didn't like the way she dealt with the Queen. I became very friendly with the Queen. She was an incredible woman. At 95, she was so sharp, she was 100%. When you watch Biden, you say, this is a different planet. But they treated her with great disrespect, and I didn't like it. And I didn't like the idea that they were getting U .S. security when they came over here. No, I think it's not a good situation going on with the two of them. But I didn't know that they don't like me. Somebody mentioned it might be so possible. They wouldn't be the only ones. But I mean, that would get ratings, wouldn't it? Oh, if you want to set it up, let's set it up. Let's go do something. I'd love to debate her. I would love it. All right, now let's get serious. I disagree so much with what they're doing.

Joining us now is an amazing man, Nigel Farage, host of Farage on GB News and leader of Brexit. Nigel Farage has been de -banked, something we see a lot in the States, and it's extraordinary. Bank acts Farage, as you quote, doesn't align with our values. Nigel, welcome to the program. Walk us through this extraordinary story. Yeah, I mean, Charlie, I've been with the same banking group since 1980, which I know makes me sound very old. And I've had run my personal account with them. I've run business accounts with them. I've never had any problem at all. I've had mortgages with them that I paid off before time. You know, I am a credit worthy customer. And yet I receive a telephone call followed by a letter to say we are canceling your accounts. No reason given whatsoever. And so I speak to them on the phone. I get somebody higher up the chain on the phone. Oh, we're doing it for commercial reasons. Well, there is something called a data subject access request that I can put in as a citizen, a request to my bank in this country under the law, and they have within 30 days to give me my personal data. Got to be honest, Charlie, I didn't even know two months ago this right existed, but I've used it and it's proved two things. Firstly, when they decided to cancel me, I was, in their own words, an economically viable customer. So what they told the media was a lie. But more importantly, it's 40 pages of absolute vitriol, bile and prejudice. They obviously loathe me. The word Brexit is mentioned 86 times in the document. And wait for this. Russia is mentioned 144 times. My supposed links with Russian money. Was Brexit funded by the Russians? It's exactly the same Russia hoax that you saw with Donald Trump in America. And they've done exactly the same thing to me. They've decided that I'm a risk because of Russia. But more importantly, they don't think my public statements are in line with their values of inclusion and diversity, whatever that means. I thought these people were banks, not social engineers. And the thing that annoys me the most is that after the subprime crisis in 2008, through greed and stupidity, these banks were bailed out by us, the taxpayer. Huge bailouts of banks. And now they can treat us with contempt. Charlie, it's not just me that's being debunked. It's happening to thousands of businesses. It's happening to people that operate in cash because they want to move us to a cashless society. They want to move us in the end, the central bank digital currencies. And even more worryingly is banks are now beginning a process of checking the social media accounts of their holders. And you could finish up with huge numbers of people being debunked. And effectively, we'd be in a China social credit style system. So this is a crusade that says we need to live in liberty and free speech. And this practice, these practices have got to end. So, Nigel, several thoughts on this. It seems this sort of practice has been happening in America and de -banking is occurring where they're trying to basically ghettoize the conservative movement and try to put us on an island where we're not able to participate in mainstream society. So, Nigel, talk about the Russia thing, because your stance has always been peace, reconciliation. What is it about Western governments that have them so worried that a dissident point of view or a contrarian point of view might be introduced with this ongoing proxy war against Russia? Well, look, I mean, you're right. I mean, you know, at the moment, at the moment, we must all support war, war, war, war, more war, more weapons, cluster bombs from Joe Biden, whatever it is. But actually, we've got to go back further than this. The twin shocks in 2016 of Brexit and Donald Trump getting elected, the establishment looked for an excuse and they decided it was going to be Russia. They convinced themselves that somehow Russia had a huge effect on both of those elections. And they've been peddling this conspiracy theory for year after year after year. And this is what this report on me shows. You know, every extreme left -wing article written in The Guardian or wherever else it may be attempting to link me with Russia, accusations that I'd taken half a million pounds of money direct from the Kremlin, all of it wholly untrue is in this report. So this isn't just about the war that's currently going on. This started properly in 2016. We're seeing so many similarities between what's happening in the UK and America. Nigel, do you think this sort of idea of de -banking and domestic totalitarianism, did it start in America and then was then exported to European Western democracy countries? Or is this a European idea that made its way to America and then bouncing back? Where did this really start? I'm afraid to say this is a uniquely American export in the last couple of years of us doing our best to copy Mao's China. Your thoughts, Nigel Farage? Yeah, it's a good one because we do send things back and forth across the pond. We recently sent you Prince Harry, so good luck with that. You sent us West Coast woke culture and I'd love to send it back to you. I'd like to think that the Brexit wave helped Donald Trump get elected. So we send back and forth good things and bad things. I think the truth of it is that it's the European Union that seized on this and anti -money laundering directives in a very, very big way. But the truth of it is that our banking industries aren't American, they aren't British, they aren't European, they're globalist. So when a big banking corporation makes a decision, it's making it on a global level. So I think in this particular case, I don't think we can blame any one more than the other, but the phenomenon is happening on both sides of the pond and it is conservatives every single time that are being singled out. And so Nigel, is this illegal to do what they did to you in the United Kingdom? The Prime Minister Rishi said this is wrong. No one should be barred from using basic services for their political views. Elon Musk agreed. Are there laws on the books that prevent this? And if not, is there movement in the House of Commons to try to fix this? I have been promised by the minister in charge of financial services that they will act on this and act on this quickly and make sure a law is in place that says you cannot have your bank account closed for legal, personal, political opinions. And I'm normally, Charlie, very skeptical about government promises turning into action. But for once, I think I've struck something here in terms of the mood of the country and I'm optimistic that they will act. I sure hope so. So Nigel, I just want to get your top level reaction about a minute and a half remaining. Donald Trump is facing multiple domestic indictments after he did ride that populist nationalist wave that you really helped give breath to in the summer of 2016. Your reaction to Donald Trump facing multiple indictments and 400 years in prison? Well, it becomes just one after the other. It almost becomes meaningless. Charlie, it almost becomes meaningless. Two, three, four, five, however many indictments there are, it almost becomes meaningless. No fair minded person can believe that what is happening to Trump is right, whether they like him, whether they don't like him and what he needs, what he needs above all is an inner moral strength to stand up and fight through all this. If he announced he was withdrawing from the presidential race, they dropped pretty much all of these charges. You know that, I know that, he knows that. And yet, you know something? I've got to know him over the years, just as you've done.

"Prince Harry and wife Meghan made their getaway in New York City in a taxi after being trailed by paparazzi, Zara said was outside Manhattan's ziegfeld ballroom as the duke and Duchess of Sussex were leaving. The entire time a lot of the paparazzi were heckling Meghan and Harry and making just negative comments trying to get a reaction out of them. And the photographers followed the car and eventually went to a police station. And then the security guy hailed me, and next thing you know, prince Harry and his wife were hopping into my cab. Soup charn sings cab. I think they were cheap being chased the whole day or something, so they were pretty nervous. The royal couple spokesperson claims they had been dangerously pursued by paparazzi in a near catastrophic car chase through the streets of Manhattan. Nah, that must have happened earlier if they were being chased before. Police say the pursuit was relatively short and led to no injuries, collisions, or arrests, and no further investigation. The pair together with Meghan's mother were leaving a charity event Tuesday night when they were followed for more than two hours by half a dozen vehicles. Their office said in a statement that the chase resulted in multiple near collisions involving other drivers on the road pedestrians and two NYPD officers. It called the incident near catastrophic. While being a public figure comes with a level of interest from the public, it should never come at the cost of anyone's safety the statement from the couple said Harry's mother Princess Diana died in a car crash in 1997 while being pursued by paparazzi in Paris. Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle had been asked by King Charles to give up their UK home a spokesperson for the couple confirmed to the media on Wednesday. While the duke and Duchess of Sussex have been living in a privately owned mansion in Santa Barbara, California with their children Archie and lilibet for almost three years, they've stayed at frogmore cottage when they are in Britain. The request to vacate would leave them without an official royal residence. British tabloid the sun first reported on the eviction, claiming that the 5 bedroom property on the grounds of Windsor Castle was offered to Prince Andrew. The king's disgraced brother last month. Buckingham Palace has not commented on the displacement, but it comes just several weeks after the publication of Harry's unsparing memoir in January, and before his father's coronation ceremony in May. It's sending a clear, clear message from the king to his younger son, says giselle bastin, a royal expert at flinders university in Adelaide. That would provide in many ways a disincentive for prince Harry to bring his family over for the coronation. Perhaps even himself. If he doesn't have somewhere to stay, that is covered by royal security. Originally called double garden cottage, frogmore cottage is part of the frogmore estate about half a mile south of Windsor Castle, and close to the River Thames. It was built in 1801 as a country retreat for king George the third's wife, Queen Charlotte, and her daughters. Its name comes from the abundance of frogs on the historically wet marshland. The late Queen Elizabeth II, gifted her grandson, prince Harry and Meghan use of the cottage in 2018, shortly after the couple got married. Officially, however, The Crown estate owns the property. From 2019 until quitting life as working royals in 2020, Harry and Meghan lived in the cottage, carrying out some $3 million worth of taxpayer funded renovations, though they have since repaid the cost in full through a contribution to the sovereign grant. The couple moved abroad in January 2020, first to Canada before eventually settling in their current $14.7 million home in montecito. Still, they went back to their residence in frogmore from time to time, including in June 2022 to celebrate the first birthday and in the wake of Queen Elizabeth's death last September. The eviction from frogmore cottage strips Harry and Meghan of guaranteed police protection during their trips to Britain, as part of the royal estate, the cottage enjoys heightened security, passed and says the cottage has been a niggling point of contention throughout the couple's highly publicized departure from royal life. Harry and Meghan have been at odds with the British royal family for years amid allegations of racism and lack of palatial support. Buckingham Palace has kept mom on the couple's highly publicized grievances, most recently detailed in Harry's memoir. Though some royal observers believe this eviction to be the first public retaliation on the part of the so called firm. But the move to take the property back from Harry and Meghan also reflects Charles promised to pare down the monarchy, bastin says, as a cost cutting measure. Queen Elizabeth II's second son and Harry's uncle Prince Andrew is reportedly getting the keys to the cottage after Harry and Meghan removed their belongings. Andrew, the Duke of York currently lives in the much larger royal lodge, a 31 bedroom property, three miles away from frogmore cottage that Andrew shares with his ex-wife Sarah, and the late queen's corgis. He spent leasing the royal lodge from The Crown estate since 2003, but his own fall from grace has led to speculation that he's been unable to keep up with its rent and maintenance. As a working royal, Andrew made nearly $300,000 yearly. But Andrew's friendship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and a subsequent lawsuit accusing him of sexual abuse, which was settled, led to the removal of his royal and military titles in January 2022. Andrew has not had any full time paid job since leaving the Royal Navy in 2022. Although he receives a 20,000 pound equal to $23,000 annual pension for his decade as special representative for international trade. But as Charles goes about tightening the royal purse strings, a reported slash of Andrew's annual grant may be the impetus for the Duke of York to downgrade. "About the news that prince Harry's wife, Meghan Markle, is allegedly distraught over her portrayal in the South Park comic as a whining privileged narcissistic, you know, woke actress who just doesn't get it. Well, now I'm not saying it's easy to be a royal, right? Believe me. I'm sure I'm sure it's a tough gig. And I'm sure it's especially hard for her because she's not the star. But that's kind of the way it goes, right? Because, well, she was never going to be the star, and she was delusional. She ever thought she would be. Anyway, I do want to say I applaud the decision by The Crown or the firm as it's known to actually encourage future offspring and not encourage or telling them. You know, you're going to have to go get a job. So princess Charlotte is going to have to go get a job. You're not going to be a working royal for the rest of your life. I think that's incredibly healthy, but you know me. I'm a big believer in work. And I think people need purpose. And I think part of the problem with what has transpired there is you had the younger brother who was never going to be anything. I mean, look what happened to his uncle. He never had a chance to kind of be his own man. He was just waiting in the wings. And as a result, has been quite troubled in many ways. And then you get Meghan Markle, who perhaps thought she was smarter than everyone else. Well, she clearly had no idea what she was getting into.

And it's not because he decided to share some childhood memories of playing in some kind of field in England. It's because he wanted to really spill a lot of tea on the British family. So some of the main accusations he made were. William and him got into a physical fight, William, you know, through I grabbed him by the collar, threw him on the ground, and he cut his back on a dog bowl. Just Charles, like when he was young, said, oh, Diana, thanks for giving me a spare. Harry's my spare. He makes claims about Camilla, you know, kind of being able stepmother. He makes claims about Kate Middleton, mostly regarding her fights with Meghan, basically how Meghan was the good one and Kate was kind of the dumb one or something. And so he's very into kind of doing these personal jabs at each person, which is why so many people have been intrigued by the book. I have been buying the book because they want to see what's in it.

Okay, first of all, I think it's important to state that he is willing to pay for the royal protection himself. So what he is fighting for is to pay for the royal protection. The royal protection, I guess, is a different type of protection than him just having personal security over there in the UK. And I think it's important for people to remember, you know, he, he doesn't, he says that I'm going to pay for everything. Right. And that's what he's been doing. They thought that he was going to fail. He has it. He's been quite popular. But when it comes to going to the UK, there's something that's going on that I think that's not publicly being said. And that's the reason why he wants to royal protection when he's in the UK. I mean, I can't imagine being Harry or Meghan and not having that level of protection when you are in the UK. I mean, you know, and I know they've had to fight for security and protection all around. It's a lot. They go through a lot. But do you want to go to the UK after all this happened? I mean, grandmother is there. I get that, but like it's like, do you really want to go to the UK after all this has happened? And the other thing that I have to say, 'cause I do agree with him. However, after going through this whole saga and learning how this family is really affirmed and it's run like a corporate. You know, situations, I think they should handle this like a corporate environment. Where, all right, you're going to leave the royal family. We're going to put you on this cobra for 6 months, so you can pay for the benefits. And then we go when you write off. You know what I mean? But even in America, presidents come and go, they're there for 8 years, and even when they leave, they still have some level of protection because they were in that life. So I think that he should have some level of it, but should he have royal level? If he wants to pay for it, let him go for it. But I think they should give him. Well, that's what I'm saying. If he wants to pay for it, and he should be able to, I mean, right. He's saying I will pay for it. It's just for the UK. Evidently, there's some things that's going on. Being a part of the royal family is a job it is duty. Yes of commonwealth. The public people the british people pay for these people to have their job to benefit them. If they just wanna hang out they are not fulfilling duties. therefore the people who pay for them shouldn't have to pay for them so it doesn't you don't get to hang out and be like a half royal and then have a you know joe and susan pay your bill hold on hold on so like a touch of it but the family is a business as well totally if you get if you wanna leave. Cbs you wanna take a walk out of viacom and people know that you have some things in your pocket. You can spill. They're going to say. Let's give you the million dollars severance so we can stay on your good side but then you can't stay working for the royal family like the queen has like the most real estate in the world.
