This after August the 14th ransomware attack that targeted the school system's network. There are 180 thousand accounts in the system. The latest information was that roughly 4 ,500 were affected. Most those of belong to staff. In his September 1st message, House said students will and families get the same information on free credit monitoring as well. In a statement released Saturday, the County says they don't fully know how many people may have had their information exposed in the attack, but they say they will offer all students and staff free credit monitoring identity protection services. Officials say that the cyber attack on Prince George's County School computers on August 14th was one of several such attacks nationwide that day. "Now an award for three masked suspects wanted by police for assaulting a student on a prince George's county school bus. Photos of the mask to say lintz all wearing black hoodies show them on board the school bus. Prince George's county police say when the driver stopped at Iverson street and sutler drive in oxen hill to drop off students, the three suspects all believed to be under 18 got on board and began attacking a boy. Police say one of the boys tried to shoot the victim multiple times that the gun malfunctioned. Police later found ammunition on the bus. The bus driver and bus aide nearby at the time were not injured. It's unclear why the boys were assaulting the student, there's a reward for up to $2500 for a successful tip in the case. "Three Maryland school districts Montgomery, Prince George's and Howard counties. In a pre taped message to Prince George's County school employees, Dr Monica Goldson made the announcement All Prince George's County public School employees will be required to either show proof of vaccination. By Friday, August 27th or submit to weekly on site testing.
