"Del prete who. I've exchanged emails with before. But before i get into enjoy read this next section. I want you guys to think about the era that we've entered into from the buyer's perspective and the reason that we've always begged for all of you to put all your best efforts on becoming a listing agent buyer's agents commissions and many markets have dropped. Now you want to really know. The poison pill in many of the markets like phoenix like southern florida. The reason that the buyer's agents commissions have dropped then because gus who zillow and open door because the buyer's agent commission was oftentimes the largest the expense and in fact we reported not too long ago that zillow literally studied how low they could drive the commissions in some of these major markets. They did quarter-by-quarter studies. They started out. You know a little bit less than your normal going rate. Then they reduced it by a quarter percent. Then they reduced to buy a half percent seeing how low they can take it and still get the house sold exactly and that and your markets were you guys are seeing a real degrading of your buyer's agent commission is because what they discovered was that they could. Actually i think it was. Less than two percent was wasn't like one point eight percent. That's the era. Yes there was a breaking point. At one point eight percent were started to have an adverse effect on the cell ability of the house and that so they knew that was the floor at that point the market. The buyer's obviously started not necessarily wanting to show that right exactly or whatever it was less marketable. Let's just leave it at that. So we're gonna have to get into and semantics of legality but so if you want to know who to blame it's the same fellas they're gonna come back and try to sell you leads. They're the ones that have degraded the actual business value proposition that they now have to lean back into in order to basically make their business viable. So what's next for zillow. It's widely believed that zillow will get back to its roots and focus on the buyer side of the transaction perhaps expanding the services they provide home buyers and becoming what well respected real estate expert. "Is the right time if i'm a developer and i'm working alongside a s debt. When's the right time to pull them into a project is it. Is it rate at the end or is it like start middle like. Is there a an appropriate time to start collaborating. If you ask me. I guess you should always be involved from the start of the project like kickoff because engineer needs to understand of requirements. Well in order to even line the execution so having the best engineer during kickoff only benefits the engineer but also the product design and you know and other Engineers on the team who are part of the kickoff. Because at least. I feel like a test. Engineer has immense load of knowledge about the product. So they can contribute on our like bright ideas inside decisions on how to shape the product better and if these ideas and up provided an initial face. It's easier for the design and product to pay would offer to make adjustments. Do they show requirements rather than waiting till the and then involving test engineers and then getting those additions and ideas I can actually provide examples on how to engineer and have ideas and solutions product. Like if there is a flow what if of low is different on a on a given platform versus the platform that was presented so these kinds of things are designer might not be able to immediately no because they might not go and look in each and every platform the product is on not all pages might be there on each each platform and if we have a certain new feature that's going through the vertical fish then what about the platform that doesn't even have that pitch second thing is if there is copying mold. What about localization where there are some languages that are like really long. Do we stick to that copying english because it is smaller. What happens if overflows so something to think about that and there are certain platforms where we already have some kind of known issues like if i give examples on ios if we are not a repair not allowed to use certain sites name of some sites. And that's how we want to promote some feature on other platforms and if it is also going to be ported to iras. What do we do there. How do we promote the feature without actually mentioning those site names. So these kind of questions. Ba can definitely rely on the dow but if a test engineer is involved i think they will be able to think more and also provide solutions because they've been working on these kinds of products and they've seen what changes they've made or like. What are the other things that have introduced just because the platform was not very user baby-friendly for that creature so not only be peaking out issues. But i feel like the seniors come up with solutions and options. Further design and product to think about how to make changes to the product so definitely try and in wall test engineers as early as possible during kickoff or even brainstorming for a product and that would help us Minimize the time really making changes and we can start the product. Sooner than i couldn't agree more. I think like i've seen so many failures were test. Engineers are brought in at the last like nearing the end. When like so many times. It's it's probably cost us so much. Because of that factor like we've missed. Things are not thought through. I think the same goes for like we often think like design in products like when we're working product that you're building a lot of it is designing product. Pm's are working to like think through a feature. And i think engineering is is sometimes late to the game but for some reason like no matter what the end of the day it's always test engineers or the final final Piece of it. And so i think bringing everyone who needs to be involved across that life cycle when you bring them up sooner rather than later. They're thinking through things. It not everyone else's and i think that i mean i've worked with you for years. Prete the i've seen so many times. Where like wow god. She brought that up. Like i never even thought of that. Or it's all these like little edge cases that you're very intimate with the product and you understand it and so you're catching things that others wouldn't so i couldn't agree more. I think it's the right time as soon as possible. I think a lot of engineers and assets in general. Don't they're they're not the most liked role on a team. Like history historically offer engineering. Because it's usually the test engineer who sang. you can't do that or snow That's not the right way to build something and the like. Which is i. Guess a negative or a lot of a lot of suffering news as negative like so. Tell me what the do they they are helping you from shooting yourself in the foot down the road so like listen to them but yet in my experience just efforts have not got enough respect in the industry being experts at what they do because no one thinks about the actually use experience especially us as we think about. How can we build it when new technology can we use all this cool stuff that you could brag about but like once it's shipped people are like whatever i but it's more important right like like that. It actually works. That's why it makes no sense. It's like what are you building for for your own your own self for your for fun. You billing for users. Why not listened to a person. Who's an expert on how users are actually going to use it or the fact that we ship code like perfect right jab always like developers are always know bugs. I have never in a bug in my life over. Not that jim. That's why he's moved to management now. He's like i'm done not sold this. Yeah what else is there to right like nobody anymore. The thing that you said is so true. 'cause i remember for run off the project i was i joined in the third of weekly meeting and i was not not out of the first two so when i joined in the third and i was looking at the designs i come like i changed seventy percent of it and the designer was like where were you in the last two weeks because i was not. I was not part of the project. I think i moved to that project after a couple of weeks because i was working on a previous project. But that's exactly and sometimes even i feel guilty like i've come in a little late and i'm taking so many things but i have to do it if i if i stop myself. Then it's not going to be helpful for the product so yeah sometimes they have to do that and we buy the gun and we do that. So yeah you know another thing that. We've talked a little bit about netflix. In general one thing that i found very unique when i joined net flicks was estimates are embedded within the team. I do not think i've ever experienced that at any other company that i've worked at usually it is like there is a test. Qa whatever we want to call it a team that's dedicated to that and there might be multiple teams that are dedicated that support like different platforms. Whatever it is. But i became a big fan of having the embedded esta. I'd love to kind of hear both of your thoughts on to like. I'm just going to say i am a fan of it. But there's clearly obviously pros and cons to it. And i would love to kind of hear your thoughts as well. I have looked on. Vote the lease a beer There was a separate test. Arc and the top. Separate del oregon. We had test engineering manager. Engineering manager and coming to net flakes. This was also a culture different for me. Because i was working so closely with Dave engines and initially. It was very tough for me to get into that model but now after working for so many years i can say that this is a model that works at least for me like embedding..

"You left him. So he called me three times. All three times I went to voicemail because I wasn't in my office or the or my or my assistant got the call. Or you saw the words Donald Trump on your phone. E didn't just happen that is Preet Bharara. He is a lawyer and former federal prosecutor and pre got those phone calls just after Trump got elected. When Preet was still U. S attorney for the Southern District of New York. Barack Obama appointed pre Pereira and he expected to resign from his post when Trump took office because that's how it usually works. But Preet stayed at Trump's request. And then the phone calls began. Which was weird. So pre told the White House that he wanted to loop in the Department of Justice with these calls 20 hours later, he fired. She did he did. You know, every time someone famous got fired my mom. You know, grew happier psycho Jim Comey. It's a pretty good club to be in pre test. He is still not entirely sure why he got fired. But the firing did come right around the same time Folks was saying that officials like Creek should investigate Donald Trump's businesses. Since that firing, Prete has become a very vocal critic of Donald Trump. And he's talked a lot about what Trump is meant for our legal norms and the rule of law. And that gets to the heart of why I wanted to talk to preach this week. Priest says the rules that we choose to follow as a nation It's all really precarious. Justice doesn't just happen. It's the product of people being fair minded. In a process being fair, Preet Bharara explored these themes in his book called Doing Justice. And now he has a podcast also called doing justice in the description for the podcast, you know you talk about The.

"Now, according to federal health officials about 6000 babies with down syndrome are born in the U. S. Each year. That's about one in every 700 babies. News Asian reporter Connor del Prete sit down with the Georgia father who is asking officials to think of people with down syndrome when deciding who should receive the next rounds of covert 19 vaccines. This is Laney. She's 16 years old. Prefers to go by the name Princess. As you might have guessed. With the layout of her room, she'll jump at any chance to show off. What makes her castle special. As for Dad, Yeah, he knows who runs the house with her. Come into my life. It changed me as a husband as a dad. As an advocate advocate, a title he wears like a badge of honor. Ever since Lainey was born with down syndrome, he founded the low country Down Syndrome Society Back in 2006. Like many organizations, everything changed with the pandemic. So it's been a rough year has been difficulty no more in person learning for Lainey, and all the meetings with parents of kids with down syndrome went virtual. But with the vaccine on the horizon, hope is in the air. We really want to advocate for distribution and put Priority on those individuals that are more susceptible. It's why the national society that Bogardus is organization falls under wrote to the Georgia Department of Public Health, asking for certain people with down syndrome to move up in line. So it's even more important for older adults with down syndrome to get vaccinated. 80 21.

"Things and enjoy the show. It Saxon. Sarah rose in I am here today with Aaron Hitchcock and we are Busting Tanti. Hey. Aaron. Sarah, rose. To be here with you. I love but coming to talk to you, we always have such a fabulous time and really really excited about this topic because there's so many myths out there and so many questions I'm really glad we're breaking it down today. Yeah me too totally. So Aaron I went through I came up with a bunch of questions. A lot of people tend to have about Contra, and we're just GONNA go through those for you all today and just give more clarity more. Into what Tundra actually is. Awesome to me just get started and jump right in. I stood. All. Right. It looks stirred with I mean first of all. What is like? Classical Contra. Array. So that's a good question like because there's classical entrepreneurs Neo Tundra. So classical Tantrum, there is some disagreement as to like windy of our because I'm from a lineage that. Actually claims like several thousand years ago but we do know that torture was at the height of its power between five hundred and fifteen, hundred eighty. So that timeframe is where we get a lot of the Torah, the classical tonsure that we draw from today. It was developed in the Middle Ages in I in India. And so there's that aspect of c. e taught different tonsure traditions in contract in different places all around the world. So like there's Buddhist Mantra of seen Egyptian Contra. baton, and then there's also a daoist traditions that have similar similar aspects of contract. So it's shows up in many different places in it really. Is this this this classical contra was about awakening and liberation, but it really did vary. So they were more conservative sex of Contra and then there were more just liberated progressive sex contra as well. So the more traditional ones looked a lot like the different things that were going on in Hinduism during that time in India but then the more forward thinking ones had female gurus, they were really like. For thinking as far as using the sexual practices, they would even use blood practices in. They were all about breaking through the confines, the Taboos of society during that time and using using taunted practices to create this, there's liberation this new type of conditioning was more expansive and open and less confined and controlled, and so when we're looking at at Contra, there's a lot of different people teaching it in many different ways. So as not go, it's not you can't just say like this is Talk Tra and this is not but at its core, the really is a were a movement towards liberation even though some some pads of at are slower in summer more. In one is better than the other. It's more about who which, which path, which contra is better for each specific person. So. How like I mean who? Who would this before like who would be who would be practicing these kinds of things today? Yeah. So Contra is really something that anybody can practice. Classical Mantra was developed for people that had already done. I, guess, personal development was probably not a term that they use back in those days. But in our modern language, we would understand that like people that have done personal development work really have A. A solid foundation they've dealt with Traumas, things like that, and so classical entre is designed for people who are ready for higher level initiations because they've they've really come to a wholeness on a human level and that is really important and. And so that's why we see in neo entre that a lot of neo taunt tra- teachers work I on the healing aspect, the human aspect of of ourselves before that way, people can prepare for taunt tra-. Classical Contra. So you're saying that the difference between neo tre tre and classical entre is the neo contra is the stuff that you would do in advance to prepare. Yeah. In a way, new entre can be even seen as light prete entre to prepare for mantra at to prepare for for these higher level practices. Well. So how would this be different than other kinds of spiritual practices? So, when away something that really differentiates entre is that it's a non dualistic view of the world. So it's it's viewing the world as everything has consciousness. Everything is one in less lessons. View of it but like an embodiment of that reality. We live in a very dualistic world where you know things are right and wrong things are good and bad. There's there's truth in those lies in. So moving into this non dualistic way of thinking really does need to come from an embodied state because we have so much conditioning around duality in. So what taunted the torture practices do is they help you get to that state. So. Some of the basic practices people might do? So while there's a ton but when I am working with people. We do a lot of shadow work, and so the shadow were Kelps you get to the place of healing and wholeness inside of really feeling sovereign of coming from a place of self love self acceptance self belonging safety was self first and foremost in. So it can take a lot to really heal the the wounding that we have, and it's not to say that you have to get to a place of perfection by any means but it is it is like coming to to replace of religious feeling wholeness and side I know for myself I own experience as. I know I have so much more to do so many more layers to unfold but I've also come so far away field that wholeness that integration like it's definitely something that internally I feel different and that is like dots a key marker and not something that a lot of people that practice the Neo Neo Contra they'd get to that point they start to really feel that of like, wow, I just feel different inside i. feel more piece inside there's still so much conflict externally but the way I handle it is different the way I look at myself in regards to it is different I and so you can really just feel that there's a shift in change. Okay. I like that. But like like one step at a time on the on the practice. So the curiosity that I have is like wool people like they're just getting started. Wait. What does what would a person need to do like their total beginner? They've never done contra before where did they start? So I know a great teacher named.

The sprint Saturday really came off wealth. Day was the day in a big day. I really thought it really. Deliver some some very good race it. You know obvious think. This law was the biggest story. He's A. He's a terrific story in your friend. Winning that race trip connections Cetera et CETERA. Yeah? That was a really great. They racing I don't know what else to say. Well start. Let's talk about the feature and. Barkley. We talked to Barclay yesterday there. There's so much. I think And you say this a lot. Actually when when. Favorites and horses that people are looking forward to seeing when they come out and they they performed expectation it. It. It's the result that is satisfying. Right I I don't think there's any question, the Belmont, but at the sources to laws a lot better that yes. This is. something. That's been clear all along and. Is Somewhat of a Battle of attrition at this point right I mean so. Many of the top forces ended up on the show for you know at least outfit the year. We're back Sylvan doll retired and I. Know those backseat able to come back or not. I don't really beneficial retired or I. don't even know and Charleston you know Shell for at least a while. So you lose you know sort of three major major players and with. And particularly outraged pee. On West coach now happily earlier. I don't think that we've what we're left with sort of the remaining remaining horses or still standing. And his law. Don't be one big races. I do think he has a real rival. And I hope. On the John Sheriff's brings in I'd love to see him. I don't get some drivers know why they can't. Before the Derby but We'll see what what you know John's worts. The right Muslim, but I I just wanted to see him. I think it'd be great. See them have a little bit of they would be to I they are the two most talented three year old how to argue at this point they are still they're still racing. but Tis, the laws Lantis and Barclay on Mike heated with buddy by a lot of people might not remember funny I never, WanNa raise the three-year-old for the Derby. and. I don't really think Barclay's particularly care. I mean I'm sure. He light so one all those who's without seeing around cry, wesseling raises because. He's a trainer as I on the price and he had funny cide raid run to terrific races. In preakness. so. Because the law is. Petition one. Races this year, but These are the racers department wants to win. Dow Travers obviously. Inverted order or as a pervert. You know it's not the same words of a crowd, but those the races. He wants to win. Even positions to win them so world and nobody else is. The same Barclays, terrific trainer I like Kenyan have success and he and Robin just a good job, he. And I and I respect. The loyalty showed many Branko. Because I'm sure there are a lot of pressure. And you know while. You're in New York. You're aware. The May go is GONNA as any the toppers, but. You know every writer their first real opportunity. And every young writer got replaced at one time or another by more experienced journeyman. I understand why connection to that I am not gonNA fall a connection. Trying to do what they think is best for their horse, but. Probably. Not Fowley under pressure to replace man. Barkley said by and I like seeing into rewarded for his loyalty and I'm very happy if they all had success. It's a breakthrough. When for for Manny and fact, brought up the you know how they handled things behind the scenes actually With Barclay yesterday and Robinson Ulan. Explaining. Sunday to sit Fernando how she called Ramon Dominguez and astronaut to watch the race and didn't prompt him at all Indian on. What she why she was calling What do you think Ramon and Ramon never criticized the? He didn't even bring up Manny's ride it at all so that. Gave them some ammunition to. You know to say if anybody was going to. Try to rock the boat about Vani. was into and And I think whatever all worked out. Everybody. That's right. You know you mentioned honoring. I you know if along long year. The reason this year's triple crown. Is. So much more difficult to win. Than triple crowns has that. There isn't a lot of room forces to improve net five period, and while yes. Obviously you're asking a lot days. Modern urban essentially jerk races to run free grueling races over five week period. There's no doubt about that. You know a couple of things one. Is that the prete- dot much much easier to win. Because very few horses Derby comeback. So we'll see the horses wins the Derby Oh much very short placement in business and sort of human shorter every year. So. Even though people laying the Belmont, the second leg becomes pretty, so it's not that hard. The Derby winner to necessarily get to the second leg whereas this year first of all these sources have to say sound, and if anybody thinks that's not. That thinks it's easy. Just look at what's happened in the last few weeks year, old crop very talk. And those are just the worst is the top. We don't even know about or worse, but.

"The I. age is under investigation clearly this is going to reverberate and provide ammunition to the president and his allies that this whole Russian investigation what was criminally wrong exactly I mean look this is exactly what people close to the president have been saying that the FBI committed wrongdoing in starting this investigation and so the question now of obviously is is what are the details are going to be part of the the horror was report that's gonna be released on December ninth and how much political Hey the the president's allies are gonna make about let me bring back on the guy Benson show that was not a clip from Hannity that was a clip from C. N. M. last night wolf Blitzer Evan Perez talking about this report from CNN seems like someone's getting out in front of the inspector general report December ninth called a former FBI lawyer is under criminal investigation after allegedly altering a document related to twenty sixteen surveillance of a trunk campaign adviser it's unknown how significant a role the altar document playing the FBI's investigation of Carter page the alterations were significant enough that they shifted the documents meaning and came up during part of inspector general **** which is Fizer review more details are classified according to sources he did not change her which is finding that the FISA application had some legal basis according to Washington post so it looks like some FBI official was doctoring documents about the FISA records the FISA applications to spy on our survey all members of the trump administration rather the trump campaign people connected to it prete bar Hara who's a strong trump critic former US attorney on CNN said this and cut nine what's kind of alarming news are obviously based on what I've been saying there's a lot we don't know but but given the description he has provided if there was an FBI agent sworn to uphold the constitution who can be proven to alter the document in connection with a legal proceeding including the attaining of a FISA warrant that's really serious doesn't get a lot more serious than that so maybe it's not going to be a giant nothing maybe what the president and his supporters have been saying will be vindicated on December ninth there are indications that there was at least some legal basis for the FISA warrants I'm not saying that there's gonna be some giant thing and people are going to jail but this is the first trip that we're getting out of what's coming in this report in addition to all the McCabe stuff and the.
