"I. Just want to wake up every day through a leg over my scoop, penrod? roadrunner. American Red Tanner. On road or off road, rancher, rather racer or just a weekend warrior. This is the show for you. You. Sound us, my fellow. Welcome to the American Red Rounder podcast. Your host Bob Marceau. Welcome back my fellows. This is the American roadrunner motorcycle show season two episode. A this is part two of Jon and Kate Plus Motorcycle. Well Hope Y'all are doing well. Hope your health is well. Hope your family's health as well. There's always that white elephant in America today. A little something. We called Cova. I gotTa Tell Ya. I work downtown and I'm surrounded by people. Needless to say I'm always masked up. If I have to go in the jail, which I do a few times a day. It's double mask is also sorts of crazy stuff. Everyone's taking my temperature everywhere I go. It's made laugh a little harder as I can't imagine. It's done for you as well in whatever you may be doing myself as a mechanic, I did not get time off. We've had some mandatory overtime. It's been very busy. It's been very different, and it's really throwing a wrench in life as I know all of us. Had some pretty big wrenches thrown in our lives lately. So whatever you do to take care of it whatever you do to do it I hope this podcast gives you something good to enjoy nice little story here and there that's how we learn from each other human beings through the art of storytelling, and that is my favorite part about doing this show rotten books whatever I may do, it's all about sharing stories, and as I've shared my story with you through my published book American roadrunner our enjoy it when other people share their stories with me, which I turn onto you in this audio show. The roads been a lot of fun I've gotten to go a few places. Places, but nothing too in depth and nothing too exciting, because it's hard to travel now unless you're on a motorcycle and don't need much, so it seems like the ride. One K. days have been real popular. Everybody's real excited just to get out hall, but as long as you don't have to use the restroom, you may or may not be able to get coffee or food somewhere. You just gotTa. Take everything with you. Hit the road and enjoy it and see what happens. Yes, it's different. Yes, every state is different, and every road is different, but sometimes that's half the fun, so hope find a way to throw leg over your machine. twit, some throttle and enjoy your road. In the meantime I haven't gotten out too much. I've had a few good things going I did get out to a party over Beulah. May's house It was great to hang out. Catch up with everybody. few ex-girlfriends a new girlfriend Then Beulah May, of course. She's the love of my life, so that was very exciting, but good to stop. Catch up, relax knock it too close to people, but enjoy some good food and some good stories sharing so that's always exciting other than that. I got busy and finally decided to purchase a writing shed. Not Me Riding Chad like riding a motorcycle I mean an actual writing shed. It's a twenty-seven foot freaking travel trailer, and I can pull it behind my truck, or I can pull behind my excursion, but right now it's sitting in the back yard with the awning out and I hooked up all the lines, so it's like a full on self contained office where I get to write typewriters all over the place, the whole nine. Nine the reason I bought this particular one is because I can fit a motorcycle through the door, so will hall a motorcycle for me, maybe a rabble, maybe a nice cafe racer, not my gold wing Maybe a chopper I don't know I haven't had too much fun with it yet, but it's nice to know. I have options because I do plan to retire in a few years wants a house is paid off. Off I'm just GONNA, rent it out. I've got a big backyard I can keep most stuff, and I just want to hop around found home base, so if you happen to be my friend and live anywhere almost likely be pulling an RV up hanging out for a few months Raton. Some good stories and enjoying some laugh are maybe I'll just hit it all on a motorcycle. Who knows all I? Know is the future. Future is exciting, and until we can get back to racing after all this Kovic stuff as I'm sure a lot of you know or have heard most land speed racing's been canceled. There's been a little bit flat track race in, but not much half. sturgis is canceled. It's just one of those years where the events are cancelled, and all we can do is go out and find our own road and all of it. So let's get to it. John and Kate we're going to be talking about Rod and cross country inside cars, some veterans charity rides his service with and for our country the work he does with veterans. Shooting photos from aside car and raising awareness for loneliness and depression. This is a good little part in joy and don't forget coming up. Headlights on enjoy the show. Road trip. Of America I mean it's it's GonNa be a good one. Be also thing in it's. Not GonNa be great the entire time and I'm ready for. The ups and downs. And and whatever comes up and just being present with that right, the when journeys suggested nation being present period whatever comes up. And that's one of the reasons. Not that kind of person. Well like I said I've written pilot here lot. As I currently hold the record. Did I mentioned I hold America? Online mentioned. But aside Com Harley for certain months. To get around, and that was one of inside cars popped up back in the day. The main reason people couldn't afford car. You had the wife and the kid picnic basket somewhere on Sunday, he got a sidecar. Definitely can do people out there doing right now. Yeah, I'll on bigger by suggests BMW's. But the handling of the biking so badly have that much weight on the back, basically hanging on you like sitting on gas tank from you'll traction driving down some flat dirt road on the way to a campground, but. I'd rather have a car. You drive and Sloan up. The mileage doesn't hurt and you're still getting thirty five miles per gallon on a bike. That might get forty five fifty I'm friends with and work with Dave Fry at the veteran's charity Ride Net, Moab. They've got. Some sidecars the sponsored by Indian champions cost like six or seven different outfits that are. Indians those are Indian advice still. So. I don't think I can use one of those but he's got a euro sidecar. And then there was a nineteen ninety golden. That was donated to him. That has its you cedar in motivation Sidecar on a man that'd be that'd be the cat's meow in my opinion, but I love my old ways so. I actually buried it out for him. It was in. She's been doing longer with a good team off the talker so I kind of know what she yeah she wants. She'll be hanging off the side car like one leg out ready to fall. You have gotta be really smooth, but I can look and see what Lindsey has, and I know how close or how far away so it's. It's great because you know as a veteran myself get that motorcycle therapy. You're out in vain, but you also get a serve. Veterans have a lot of a shopping me. I was in combat, but I wasn't blown up I've you know they shot a couple more examining here and there so? American, road runner brings you a road runner in the headlight. You heard it first here on this show. We all know. Are We all love her lover? She's a love of my life. This one goes out to Ms. Beulah may co host of girl on a Modo podcast. She came back for a second annual Radwan cakewalk in her one thousand thirty two miles in eighteen hours eleven minutes. She brought our good friend and sponsor something at American roadrunner. I'm not sure who that is. Along for the ride, but here's the story you've heard it. Let's hear it from Boulez hand. My I text message to Bob Marshall was half questioning half advas- seeking when you're doing. Rodwin K. in a day. What's your average speed? I suspect around eighty five. My next x was what are you doing may not. It? Was that simple? Yes, or no answer and just like that. Within a day, Bob had a few options for this trip for us to leave and return from his fly and Marshall Laboratory with thousand mile loop. I packed my gear the day before to avoid procrastination, and over thought on what I would bring on the back of my sportster. After a day of work on Friday I wrote the Bob's recorded a show with him got some sleep woke up early and let all the mayhem of this ride begin. We left Riverside in southern California to head. North made a left turn. Las Vegas to easily Nevada and then over and down the three ninety five for a complete loop, it was cool, then warm, then wet, and then perfect, there was a near collision, a backdrop in the dirt exhaust Flange, dangling in the wind. Someone ran out of gas and spoiler. Alert the same. Someone blew rear tire with less than two hundred miles to go. Tow trucks credit cards short naps on side of the road and bad directions above all adventure I would do it all over again in a heartbeat. Check out all the Shenanigans on the American roadrunner motorcycle show, and on my blog at girl on a moto dot com. Yes, this was the ride where abloh up my tire and you heard it. All of you episodes ago. Way To submit this Beulah may well done. We've got a six person ride. These are six people who all got together and made it all happen. Let's hear about it. We're starting with on the Graham at Carlos. Four peasy won crushed his second one K. This year. With one thousand nine miles twenty two hours twenty nine minutes, he recruited some new riders for this one while others were returned riders as well. He rats after going north to reno on my first one. K. Yon May twelve twenty twenty. We went east this time to sedona Arizona. I feel this route was much more fun. Highway Eighty, nine and eighty nine eighty was. Was Amazing with views and roads smooth as a baby's, but stopped in Prescott at the Harley store and headed to the Sedona, Beer Company we eight and headed up to flagstaff from there was a race West on highway forty much easier around this time. Not hit a storm really helps surprisingly the he wasn't bad at all. It was optimal riding conditions throughout the entire trip. Well done Sir are bell rings for you. Let's go with router number two six. This is at Martha skill skin on the Graham knocked out the one K. One thousand five miles for her in twenty three hours one minute. She kept her story short and sweet, and we appreciate that Hashtag. Rod more talk last. I love it. This is hilarious. She writes smash and Grab One K. to flagstaff and back rolled Jerome Cottonwood and Sedona a man well done sister welcomed the Colt. You are saluted. Rider three of six at L. Fr- affair patrol on. Knocked out his second one K ready this year this time with the group twice the size. Of course we haven't clocked in at one thousand sixty three miles in twenty two hours ten minutes. He writes this quarantine has ride and more than ever. Before we headed from Ventura towards Phoenix to do the eighty nine to eighty, nine, eight to flagstaff and a dash back home on the forty, the eighty nine and eighty nine, a is a beauty of the Strip, lots and lots of turns, maybe not ideal for the one K.. Trip in regards of time, but we do it for the ride and made it. We passed through Prescott Jerome a city on the side of a mountain and Sedona. Words and pictures can't expressive beauty ready to do another here shortly. Stay tuned, well done Sir congratulations number two this year. Let's get to ride or four of six. We have a new record for oldest rider Jose re senior. Sixty nine wasn't good company with. I One K and two who already knew the ropes got him at one thousand seventy one miles in twenty two hours twenty minutes. Congratulations on completing the ride and taken the title of oldest rider I. Sure Hope I'm able to crush one ks into my sixties. Great Work Jose. Jose Rats I love to get up early and ride. It's a beautiful road that we took got a little tired towards the end. God Willing I will continue to ride for many more years. I'm sixty nine now and feel great. Thank you. Thank you thank you, Jose Sixty nine and killing it. We appreciate you sir. Five of six Black Wolf underscore honcho knocked out this one K.. This ride was a challenge especially when the pain said in, but Chris enjoyed every mile of it, Chris Road. Where do I begin I? Was Skeptical on doing this ride I was nervous anxious and couldn't even sleep only getting three and a half hours in. I woke up at one forty five am to meet up with the group at three. A M I was pumped Ryan Dorsey. Stop Gas up was easy peasy. The weather was perfect, maybe upper sixties and aspreys. Man Seeing. That sunrise was amazing. My going through Palm Springs make an unforgettable memories while Radan with a group of friends that love to put in their miles. Head into the halfway mark. I started feeling the tiredness. My hands started getting tied Mansour Radan without a fair in on my back, took a little toll having the wind blowing good a few times each time we would gas up I was excited to see the next town. We would stop and pass through. I didn't realize how many miles we had already put in, and ours don't get me wrong. Being the first time or during the one K. was tough, but I loved every mile of it well done. Sir, welcome to the club. Bells ringing for use. Radyr. Six of six at underscored dot Gabe dot underscore s on the Graham crushes I one K with his group of friends one. Thousand Twenty eight miles twenty two hours twenty four minutes. Have you noticed the Times they're always just a little different? Even in a group, it all goes back to the fewer seats, so always keep that in mind whatever the ending and beginning receipts as these are your times, so looks like we're going to see some more miles from. He writes well. I got my first one K under my belt finally went through with it and I must say. I enjoyed it I. Didn't get much sleep the night before because I was too excited to get on the road. Left venture with the rest of the crew in Zuza. Getting the palm springs area, as the sun was Razan, was super cool to watch, but at the same time was feeling tired. Contemplated if I should just turn back glad I did and. Before this ride, the furthest I rode was about three hundred miles. It's so much better Radan with a crew once we got to Prescott, Jerome said. Wow views were amazing. Flagstaff was our turning point, so we headed back and felt good. Only part was my rear end was bugging most of the ride. The Heat wasn't too bad either and I definitely do it again I need delay more miles down on my back Mr. Gabe congratulations welcome to the gang. Let's get over to shovel head on the Graham knocked down his first one K one, thousand, nine hundred seven miles, and twenty hours fifty seven minutes as part of the one K. Prep Advice, I often say exactly what Joe mentioned here, try to get in some solid rest beforehand, but easier said than done because. Joel rats the not before the ride. I felt like a kid on Christmas. I've been wanting to do this for some time. And for one reason or another I never did this time it was going to happen, and it did. The ride started off later. Then I would have locked, but it was a good thing. Because if we had left earlier, we would have. Have Gotten poured on? We chased the Double Rainbow for some time as my friend on the Graham at Brendel seventy, nine and I embarked upon our journey, we had a set plan, but for some reason we were not able to load the Google maps I'd created into his navigation or my phone, so we did as best as we could to stick to the route. We missed on some of the roads I'd plan, but also gained so much more or less in the road. Take US where wanted to. We wanted to take the scenic route down to Nashville then all highway back. It was very hard for me to put into words. How great of an experience this was for anyone who has done it i? Am sure you understand. There's something about getting off the back. After doing nine hundred miles, and I laughed so hard that I cried and sat a gas station and Remington Indiana at two am, and not even knowing why if you are thinking about doing the Radwan candidate do it. I can't wait for next time. Well said Mr Joe. Thank you for your contribution looks like you. One Heck of a ride. Welcome to the gang. Last, but not least Michelle a fairly new rider crushed her first one K with us soon after coming up short on another great to see her. Try again so soon, not only did she have plenty of time to spare this time, but log some extra credit miles as well one thousand one hundred five miles in seventeen hours ten minutes. Nice Ride Michelle. Glad you enjoyed it. She wrote I. wrote Texas for two weeks vacation and missed challenged by an hour on the way out I was determined to take advantage of three time zones and extended daylight hours on my ride home, cool temperatures and latte traffic between Amarillo Albuquerque. Albuquerque was spectacular for Rod and it was so cold I use rain gear to stay warm new. Mexico mountains were much appreciated landmarks then progress slowed because of smoke from extensive fires obscured the sun, a truck overturned across the forty freeway, causing traffic to divert around the ramps at the next stop a shed, the ring gear taken the forty, instead of the ten was much cooler and the rat decision the continental divide in New Mexico was a great photo, op and beautiful scenery for the rat, a late lunch and flagstaff revived me for the remaining seven hours, and I also took off the jacket liner. Arizona felt lack summer. Radin? His son was making me tired. Crossing into California was familiar territory. I Push Bass Barstool for gas and was nine hundred ninety eight miles the beautiful sunset. Energize me for one and a half to reach home. Traffic was starting to build, but manageable at not close to home. The fifteen ninety one freeway interchange closure took me on a thirty minute detour when I pulled into the last gas stop, I was exhausted and elated. Having Been Rodney only four years, I felt lack accomplishing one K and a day is making up for lost times well done. Michelle congratulations welcome to the gang. "Hi Stephanie. I don't think that's the way I want my listeners. Let's start with a better high high high that's working for Hello Anyway. Stephan here from hyperbole. Hello Hyper Bro. Why isn't your house recording a podcast? Relax I got the quarantine noticed after he still in the house. Were making sure that Corey's safe so he's a regular co hosts from now on just kidding. Wish that was the case but no but I did. WanNa say that. He and a lot of my other special guests here comedians musicians. They're struggling right now. Because a lot of their venues are closed so I just wanted to really reach out. I know you guys have been awesome fans but if there's any way that you can support police do. Y'All get ready for the show. I I personally podcast and friends that rated statements nominee to be taken literally. Seven hyper hyperbole. Hello everybody and welcome to another episode of High Per Broglie. My name is Stephanie. And I'm your host. Were in the middle of Corona Palooza. So we don't have any co host today but I was able to wrangle a special guest up off the street. His name is cory. Riaz has gone. It's going great. How are you Laurie? I'm interested you know considering the facts but thanks for having me. Yeah yeah glad to have you if you WANNA take some toilet paper home feel free colony of it but anyway so Corey O.'s. Very special very talented. You are the lead singer and guitarist of the hourglass cats us. A little bit about that. The eyeglass cats is an ECLECTIC Sonoran rock desert REGGAE FUNK HIP hop group. Pretty much we got like mundane of four to eight people sometimes and got the horns. Got a precaution. The good old Arizona team of musicians at all work on their own separate projects as well. Then come together to do the hourglass cats kind of like the avengers kind of like the vendors. Yeah we all do our own separate prequels and sequels stories and stuff. But that's pretty sweet. So you're like the Tony Stark or the iron man because you were one of the founders. Right Yeah Meyer original drummer hot. Carl I think we started about eight years ago. I was reading that rookie mistake. I left my phone on silent. All right we're going to start over real quick so anyway. Why did they call them hot? Carl was really highly. Well I mean mainly because it's a kind of inappropriate. Look it up. It's kind of a disgusting. Just fun to be like That's awesome nickname bee. I mean started as a two piece and then peanut came and went and then event- Chaz joined the group and Chas has been the longest member and he's on saxophone on Sax Nice. He's also like he's like my. We'll show boat like part of the entertainment team. That's awesome all right now. We have a an regained around on drums. Henry Bernard on Percussion Josh Montek on Percussion Lisa just left for Japan again. So she's back out. Well we'll see probably in quarantine right Alyssa Carnival thing a carnival cruise things. She doesn't even know what she's doing now. So we'll see in the next few weeks where she's AP. Oh man then we got Jesse is also known as killer mouth to Christian on Bass and Chas. Yeah so that's good amount of people that is good about people is that everyone's got their own side project or solo project or other bands. They play or have played with bigger bands. But so it's been fun. Yeah I pretty much got the jam with like all my favorite musicians in town. That's amazing and you guys started in two thousand eleven so I tried not like think about nine years I think I think it's been around then like I. Honestly I've kept very attract foreign became what it is today and then I've also heard through some press that you guys have been changing your style over the years to which is pretty awesome. Yeah definitely was like kind of started as a garage black keys kind of vibe and then kind of went into Skop punk kind of vibe and then now we're like I don't know we're missing a lot with the JIP- Shin Latin kind of Columbia stuff a lot of like rock and roll and funk and hip hop. I don't even know what you would call us now. That's so you're so you're fan. Base has to be pretty ECLECTIC as well. It's it's definitely made like I would say that is our strong. That's what makes us who we are. But it's also it's probably held us back for so long. It's been really hard marketing to right clientele because if we market the reggae people. They'll be like one song on the album. It's like a reggae song and then the rest of it's like not reggae or like straightforward rock and roll and then if you drive market is someone that likes rock and roll. They're going to solve them album. It's been really hard to kind of figure out how to market ourselves. And I feel like that's may have been like what's held us back but in my mind. That's what's made us so much fun and ECLECTIC and that's what like has made our live shows so because we built all this off of live shows like very little recordings out there very few videos like this is all through word of mouth and people seeing our play around all over the southwest. That is so cool which is cool. It's very a Collie win. About `Bout Ed and Unique Way. So we're this next few years we're going to try and get back to the recording side and twelve song album coming out. Hopefully we'll see now you know hopefully in the next six months or so. Yeah maybe you could market your guys. Yourselves is like a contemporary sampler or like a flight of music flight option alternative. But it's like alternative so broad as like. Yeah Yeah Yeah hard too late figure it out but I think we're GonNa rock and roll okay. That's a big. Yeah it'd be like hip hop and rock and roll and you know little reggae interludes and stuff like that so we're going to keep trying. What direction do you guys? WanNa go in the next couple of years. Do you want to just still be the sampler of having a bunch of different tunes and genres or thinking of honing in on one or two or three. We'll probably end up. Doing I mean number one folk refocusing on writing music and recording music. So making sure that there's stuff online which is what we've Kinda failed out a little bit and a lot has to do with me a lot to do with membership change so constant you know and I'll just like how much it costs to record an album as a ban. I mean you know I can. I do stuff at my house for free and recorded myself but like to record a band trying to court drums and guitar and all together. It's it's a whole different process. Yeah so it's been kind of setback. But I think after this album what we're probably going to do is we've already started. We were writing like groups of a style. So it's like all right today. I writing session. We're really working on Latin kind of sounding stuff today. We're only working rock and roll tomorrow. We're on a trippy. Psychedelic TAME IMPALA stuff. Pretty much. What we'll do is we'll take those collectives and Kinda. Just release them like you know. This album's this this this down and kind of try and round up the repertoire and see what? Bites Stardust. That's pretty smart. And that's I think I should have been doing that a long time ago. Instead of just releasing eclectic you know collections of songs. That are like you know from hip hop about Yoga Butts to feel S- toners sleepy reggae songs to like a rock and roll screaming metal. Riff yes it's been but it's also you know that that was just that's all we we all we listen to a bunch of stuff. Yeah I think that's really cool for several reasons. The first reason is I think it's a sign of you guys doing what you're really passionate about where you're not really limiting yourselves. You're just going with the feeling of. Oh I really like this type of music and I listen to it so I'm GonNa make a song and this style or this style style and you guys keep coming out with it so I think that's really cool and you guys are still on this journey as we all are of growth so I feel that now. You guys have a better idea of how to market yourselves. So you're going through with that plan and then too. I think that you guys having this this variety this Ernie blots every flavor being of of music is really cool for other people that have a specific style that they're interested in so then what they do is they'll they might listen to one song and then they'll get opened up to more. Yeah and that's you know that's me it's like. I if I go reggae show like man. I've if there's four reggae bands are all doing that man did. I'm so done by like literally the four song and I'm just like can we get something else like. Yeah that's just how I am like I. I need a little bit more. So that's kind of what I wanted to do but I do see how it is difficult for bands like us to market yourself that ways. Yeah without at least a good marketing team. Yeah because it's everything we do. We were all independent like self fund. Everything we release everything under ourselves own all the rights to everything. We don't have any he are. We don't have a manager we don't have a booking agent and it's all either me or one of us that are doing this all or we you know. We need an artist. We hire of our friends to do the art. It all in-house independent Arizona like local boys stuff. Wow It's been fun but yeah it's definitely been a learning learning process and huge learning curve for sure that's amazing. Wow and about the band members. How did you come across these band members and man to everything? I mean the first group like me. Brian. Carl were. We were in a band called celebrate. Nebraska and then. We moved along from lead singer at the time and then I jumped in and then Brian was unfortunately in and out of House Arrest Carl and then Lisa Lisa. Julio we met like on craigslist or something like that and player from Germany's import exchange student. Chaz Chaz showed up at my house. Where you're like me and Carl live together in our roommate at the time invited them to come down with us because our sax player moved back to Germany for the summer. You play sax like you heard the two. Am Ringtone or something like that place that I just showed up at my house. And there's this kid playing the Saxon Garage Carl's practice day and we're like what's going on and that's how we met. Chaz and then do the years it's just been like you know like Christian. I recently met through craigslist. We needed a player. Wow the rest of them though. Have been big bands where I have watched these bands play like Henry's ban drive every yacht club band future past like I used to go watch them play when they are because their bands were huge back in the day. And so those two guys. I got the JEREM which just 'cause I met them through the scene you know and like up to them and Josh. He was in the widely ones and he got her melodies which is like a rotating group of where they like consistently cycle singers guitar players and stuff like that interest. I've worked with him on a bunch of stuff and then I mean Lisa we just saw to Scotch show. We're like cute girl drama player like a mix you know just kind of like meeting people through the scene. The scenes like the Phoenix. Things really strong. But there's not there's like only a few. There's a lot of people play music but there's a difference between playing music and gigging and like working as a musician. 'cause there's a lot of people at like they just. WanNa go out there and make original music and you know they're they don't have to play shows it just gets released. Whatever they want but then there's like the players like people like me. Henry like all of us. This is our main source of income. We go out and perform six nights a week. Seven nights a week. I was about to ask you about that. I mean I just lost like so much money last week just from the rain and the other concerns and this week. I have no idea. It's six gigs. Starting tomorrow and it's like I'm just going to call in tomorrow and be like. Hey what's Open? What's not yeah? Yeah so there's a big difference you know in some of us have transferred over to other jobs as a real estate agent. Now does really good for himself. You know it's like we've all grown up. People have kids now all these things but for some of us you know this is what we do. We live breathing. Yeah and we rely on it. So it's it's been interested in to to meet all those people because there's people that play for a living and they don't ever create original music and then there's like the original music crew and like there's two separate scenes in Arizona there's diggers and the you know. The people have play for fun. That don't necessarily make that much money or anything I see. And then there's like us in the middle where like we're part of both of these crews. We do get hired for weddings and for cover gigs and entertainment hotels and also but then we can also we do create original music and we do play shows and that kind of stuff and it's it's sometimes there's a few cross pollinate but like most of the time it's like two separate things. Yeah interesting and I know that you mentioned you guys have played in in various places in the South West. Did you guys actually go on tour on the road and travel together and play at different? Gigs Yeah so. We've been a lot of places. Let me think so. I mean we used to go up to California all time back in the day. We've been a south by like four or five times now day. Yeah those were always like ourselves. Much ships were crazy. We get detained. We'd really bass player would bail on us the day before and we'd hire like a person that's never played. Bass Oh my God craigslist. Not even craigslist is like the friend that organized the festival. Who's a superfan who doesn't even eat doesn't even play his. Name's Adam like. We're supposed to headline their you know. Phoenix showcase and we're just like turn his base all the way down just rock. I do like just try and play the baseline the whole time guitar rock out. Because that's all we got but like three or four times a few like random stuff out there. Some shows out there. Sometimes we'd show up in the bars like closed down. It's like they didn't even tell us like. Oh my gosh crazy. We'd been all over Mexico not Oliver Mexico but we do rock point like four or five times a year. Yeah I go in two weeks but I think that's probably cancelled man. I saw one of you guys. Music Videos was filmed in rocky point. Yeah Yeah we do a rocky point a lot of New Mexico Colorado mature if we went to Utah we do like all the small towns in Arizona to like fucking Jerome. And Oh my God I grew up in so I worked around hornbill right now. Oh Nice which is pretty much cotton without same staff for for us. Cotton Woody. We would make fun of Corn Ville. We were Super Hicks. Then we'd make fun of Corn Ville for being Hicks so There's a little little. Oh yeah like you like popping now too trendy with their Old Town. Cotton well yeah. They've got the wineries they've got old towns and all that stuff now. Yeah yeah he was just. My friend was telling me I was like God. What's out of control a? Is like it's already like crazy out there now. Yeah Yeah. It's insane grocery stores that guns and stuff and I'm like Oh my God I gotTa Call My. My parents still live there so I gotta make sure they bring their guns on what the trip that we have spent a Lotta time in Cottonwood. Definitely we've actually played in Conway. We know main stage. Actually okay. I night there with Sarah Robinson band back before she has like all these new people back on it was like the dudes from wives. It's just like there's a lot of like you know we've done Prescott Jerome Bisbee. Huma believe we did or maybe we haven't done that. I honestly can't even flagstaff a billion times do flex. Oh sweet yeah. Yeah we did a few good runs and you know it's just like honestly what ends up coming down to is like touring expensive especially when you don't have a van like we roll out with my crv it's like you know like we've consistently toured in the Sierra Jazz had one and then I got I got another one and now got a new. Crv never bought a van. And I never bought trailers like organized based off alike. Yo Do you have a back line like a drum and guitar? Am that we can use or we roll out with like black bottom ladders. Who have a tour bus and we can back line with them and do like tour to Colorado or something so yeah until we do that and it's just like dude it's hard man. It's like you know out here. They pay US pretty well. You know like these hotels and these places but it's like trying to get a venue show out here like you know it's like you could work for three months and do relatively well and bring like three hundred people in only make like maybe like a thousand dollars if you're lucky after. They take a giant portion of ticket sales the opening of the rental or opening you know venue rental pretty for the security guards. Charge you for everything. They'll turn for the beer. You drink in the backstage. Oh no way all the money from the bar they make a bunch of money. You know percentage of that so it's like there goes three months to work when I could have literally showed up with a trio at one of these fancy hotels and gone pay. The same amount didn't promote didn't do anything and then do like four or five of oak a week. That's ridiculous and then imagine that on tour when no one knows who you are. So it's like you know unless you're linking up with somebody or less you have a decent stuff or you have a place to stay which is also the most important thing is because we would go out. We'd go out to these places and not know where we're staying then. I just literally like Chara. We hope we meet somebody because we can't afford hotel the night on like sleeping on you know Florida sleeping the crv can't believe Sierra. It's already packed the brim. Like we're like literally sitting on artery tars and stuff. Oh my God and there was one time we went out to house of Blues. Plan Out Haussa Blues and California now no. I think we're picking up. Carl thirty lived in California and it was all equipment for four piece plus their lead singer of the band that we were supposed to play with an R V. Carl's like sitting on my lap withholding guitar one in my face and then to the front. Oh my job our equipment in a survey and it's just like how like I. We can't do this anymore. We're like thirty nine. People got kids so they gotta come home with the money and it's a different story now. I wish that you know the touring game was feasible. And you know well if we have something to promote we'll go out and promote it right and they can albums like for this album. I'll definitely set up run if we're still allowed to travel but yeah. I mean we`ll. We'll do something like that but at the same time it's like it's not very feasible unless you've set up like a real nice connection like flagstaff and rocky point is always a reason for us to go there because they give us a play. Stay enough money to where we can afford a place to stay take money and you know. Just. We've developed relationships with these people that are really well knows California. It's like yeah. We got like sixty monthly listeners. Out there you know and like la or San Diego but it's like you know who knows if those people are going to come out and ride taking a risk and then after hotel like what two to three hundred bucks. Yeah plus gas blows Everything else starts adding up real quick. Have you thought about cutting out some members of the band? So you don't have to split it eight ways. Oh Yeah on tour. We don't we don't bring the big boys will bring all the band members. It's pretty much. Joe Who can make it a three piece. I don't care I'll show up like you know. They might pose picture of eight of us. But if I'm there photoshop store you can just been doing even like like an x over faces a Flyer. This lonner like circle. Who's playing doing something like that? Yeah it's a well I'll show up three or four and you know it's just it is still just harder to kind of get things going especially when like when there's money to be made in town and there's a lot of money to be made out here if you musician not right now but season would have continued through. March and April. It was already going to be a good season. Yeah Yeah So. It's hard to miss. You know it's like even the big bands like and a big metal band right now and they tour the country in the world. And you know the few times. People are like touring and stuff like that and you hear what you get paid a day and it's like it's like man. I make like like a full week of touring and going hard and yeah you get to travel the world. But it's like man I could. There's some places here where I can make that on a Wednesday night. You know. That's crazy so it's been hard for me because I get stuck you know in that In that Lake Restaurant Hotel. You know right in that rhythm where you're just like I don't know I want this money. 'cause he this is what I depend on. Yeah Yeah of course see. It's definitely something in the next few years. I'm going to try and Lenka lessen the load on performing live and make it go back to like music for fun again. 'cause you know ten years six years or so of doing this. It's just been like kind of weighs on you after a little bit of for sure. Yeah I don't know how those guys on tour do it here toward US maybe drugs. He's also the one hundred percent or they're like completely sober and they're just like dedicated and just go. Oh yeah could be. Yeah Listen Anderson Park the other day and you're just like man this guy like how's he screamed like that for like you know even just when he's talking you just like always like dude. I throw my voice after a weekend. Yeah just go to the bar. I'm a promo voice easy. God go throw it out from talking more than I will from singing. Yeah or going bar trying to talk loud. Oh that happens to be used to happen to me all the time. I don't really go and the most singers do because you know using different parts of your vocal cords but it's just like man. How do people do that? It's like every single night on tour like the metal guys that are screaming. I have I have no idea what if they learn. Because I've bought like those. You know those the scream. There's like the art of screaming and stuff. Oh yeah watched some of those. I don't know what you guys picked up from next to be. It's been a. It's been a fun ride either way. That's awesome. I was GONNA say we'll have you plug everything that you've got going on later. But what is the perfect song for? It's like an entry song for people that haven't heard you guys before to listen to Right now off of what's off out. You know I would say this is our best production just because we've got the full western shootout video like it's like a visual and audio and I would say that that probably describes the sound that we've created which is like this soon Orrin elements of Middle Eastern Gypsy to it. So it's not just like it's not even like Latin. It's like world Sonoran but mixed with that Gypsies. Kinda like deserty deserty. But it's like yeah it's got a little bit of like I don't know like that's what I call a gypsy. You're like Egypt or something. It's just a scaled desert in Africa desert. Here it's kind of like weird and and that style is like I don't. I haven't heard anybody else try to do that. And so I would say Estan online is probably our guys. That's a good one. I check that one out. That's like our song. Because it's like a four minute thing Danny from captain squeegees on it slash every bannon Arizona's you played trump. He's out of control. Good so damn. It's one of my favorite his break to break down solid. That's awesome last question before we get into the self-help you told me they. At least two of your members guys found on craigslist so surprising that that actually works. And have you ever had any rejects or people that you've found on craigslist? That didn't work out. It sounds like yes. Yes and no like ironically enough. I met my best friend Carl from the founding member like he. We met him from craigslist. Actually TO CARL. Carl Travis. Are All lead. Singer auditioned for the band through craigslist. I this is the first first band before this. I don't even know our name was called. Oh yeah and why the HOURGLASS CATS? How did that You know day-lewis soul. They're they're like a famous nineties. Hip Hop group one of my favorites guerrillas. I mean they do everything but they have this one song ego trip in and like in the song we were looking for a name. We're actually called the edge the worst band name ever and everyone kept making fun of us. Really Good Neil Z. O. Our like something different so I heard that. He's like Manabu that one song or he's like you'll want something like a phenomenon. I'm something like a phenomenon you won't glass in like I heard it and I was just like. Oh Man I was like. That's our last cat. Stayed Nice and then like a year later. We don't even think about it but then Carl was like dude and I was like well like that's such good marketing when I reached out to you guys I didn't realize it until I was like hey. Thc and I was like okay here. We go. We didn't realize it either help with like dispenser. He is because you know right away. We were getting booked that dispensary. He's getting Nice Guy and just you know marketing. Weise's Supernet is like our websites. Iheart TEACH DOT com. Yeah things like that so but ironically enough like I don't know how long ago was. But we play this music festival at the w hotel on top and the book like Ceelo Green Day loss whole damn and there's a bunch of Mayer Hawthorne all that stuff but the day that we play with Ceelo Green and de la soul so I got the meat de la soul. Wow what hourglass cat meant to them and like I got to hear from everyone and finally the last person got the post news who wrote those lines and it was cool. It was like exactly what I thought it was. He's just like I was just like always in the right place at the right time. Get in and I get good and get out when it's like weird and I was like dude. That's exactly what I thought. It was like being at the right place at the right time. Like a cat always seems to be just sneak in sneak out. Just you know. They're never there for too long their numbers out there for two little. It's like the just Ninja. That is so profound. I thought it was the body type of the cat like an hourglass body. So that's what I thought too. I thought girl you know but then I was like he says. I'm an hourglass cat and I was like I really talk about. That's true. Yeah tall cooking American dude so yeah it was cool getting here that from the guy and then you know just be like any my reggae band after you and him being like do this cool like also inspired so many different people and Route. So but yeah. That's how we got the name. That's pretty bad ass man. I was very lucky to find that one because I don't think I could have found a better name for us. It's a cool name. And you GUYS LOGOS REALLY COOL TO O. The cat my boy wanders like all my stuff now but yeah the original. I don't even know who did that them so long ago. It was like my tattoo guys apprentice or something name like no. My Tattoo got something his way or do you guys ever talk to you of your logo on you guys. Oh No no you know bubba from Old Town Inc. He's he's been on like a bunch of those like tat two shows you know yes. Oh Yeah I don't know the name Skins Inc something. Yeah but he. He owns all town inc and like we used to play at Salty's Senorita which is right next to it. Okay yeah one of the girls. He dated the events there. I don't know what it was. But he kept coming up and be like dude. I want to do like a logo of an hour glass cats and give us all free tattoos and I just. I don't know what happened. I think right after that immediately he was doing that and then now every time I've hit him up and he's like four thousand dollars a day and he has to do full giant like. Oh He's like a famous now. You still just bad timing but we had the opportunity there for a little of it just kind of like then link up oh man but good Fran. He's he's doing very well for himself. Yeah could've helped with band retention too. If you've got the tattoos. Yeah you can't really you guys that were like. I knew they weren't going to be in the band long and I'm getting a Tattoo and maybe that's why you guys waited because you like. They're on their way out. I'M NOT GONNA say to people right. That's Awesome. That was one of the first things so I ended up. We usually have a lot of comedians on this podcast but then we also get other guys. We've had fashion bloggers. We had a DJ. We've had who else. Oh we had a radio host Mo from the most three our last weekend oh nice. She's great I loved having Yeah Awesome. Check and we actually. I was telling my co workers at work that I'm looking for non comedian just local talent. Cool people guess and one of my co workers. I don't think she even knows you guys but she knows the band so she was like. You should check out these two bands. I know one of them but not the other one and then she sent both. I listened to both of you guys. I was like Oh man. Hourglass cats and I looked at the logo and I was like I gotTa have. These guys are nice. Yeah Nice I WANNA chas. But you're that chas the other band I will find the answer for you. It was also. She said it was a reggae type band so I think they weren't as versatile as you guys are dynamic because you guys are but they were on the reggae spectrum. Nice Yeah I was probably one of our friends or something like that. Oh Nice I mean it's like the regular seasons pretty small everyone else everyone. I decided not to have them on after listening. Okay so I don't WANNA SAY RANDOM OUT ALL RIGHT COOL. Thank you for that information. That was really cool. I haven't met anybody in the music scene here and so it was really interesting to kind of hear about the scene of been really deepen the comedy scene. So it's interesting to kind of see 'cause it's similar where it's like not a nine to five. You're out there grinding doing your shows you. It's kind of like constantly getting approval from people that are either through claps with with music or dancing with it or grooving to it or they are laughter with con with comedy. And you're just constantly out there. Just doing what you're doing and and you it's fueled by your passion which I think is really cool. I wish my job being an accountant was fueled by passion for numbers sometimes Louisiana Kaunda more stability. Yeah Greg maybe I should of went to call no keep doing what you do in the music that I've heard is really good so yeah. Hey Stephan here. Have you ever thought about making a podcast? Now we're going to start off with a quote of the week so before we get into it. I WANNA ask you. Do you have any inspiring quotes that help you feel your days or get? You inspired. Not Pajamas spot. Now I'M GONNA have to go to the next question and then I reactively facebook and everything right now just kind of that's good quarantining yourself from social and everything else good. Good all right. That's okay because we've got one in our back pocket so we have a weekly quote and this quote comes from not a person but a robot. It's called inspire robot and it's an AI driven machine that takes some of the wisest words and just mashes them together for a really tasty and motivational quote. Now let's see. Let's see if you can tell if it's a robot or not now this week's quote from inspire dot says trust no one punch yourself in the face and just look at your own grave. Let that soak in for a second. Sounds like a robot. That's guy like robot ever been punched in the face or as. Pont's themselves in the face now that it doesn't feel good so yeah I feel like sounds like a robot. Set it because they can't feel anything. I agree I agree so trust no one at. That's I mean. It's a little skeptical but I think you could. Maybe you could get by with that point of view in life. You Trust no one you. Your expectations really aren't shattered. When somebody betrays you cheats on you steals from you leaves your band type of thing but punch yourself in the face. That's where it kind of took a hard left turn. Yeah she would like skipped over that one somewhere else in a different story. But yeah the plunge yourself in the face and the grave. I've never punched myself in the grave but I will say I have slapped myself in the face when I've had to drive long distances. There was one time I had to drive back from Vegas and I remember. It was like eight. Pm and I got home at one am. I can't even remember but I remember I was after a solid weekend of drinking and and so I remember. I was almost veering off the road and then I'd have to slap myself so it keeps me away. Keeps Me Alert Vegas Realm as dangerous through? Yeah it's just a straight line all desert nothing new to see was. Just just. Don't get any sleep while you're in Vegas. Oh that's who that was. The last time I did that. Drive was the last time I think I decided I was going to drive to Vegas. And then from then on out because it's forty five minutes and a plane. Oh Yeah Don adding fifty sixty bucks or something like that especially now vegas now or maybe you do severe. You Never WanNa Gamble go to Vegas but yeah so maybe maybe the robots trying to save yourself in the face make yourself more alert yourself just more violently. I guess and then look at your own grave. I don't think we have graves yet unless you're unless you bought one in advance. That's a slightly creepy morbid. Yeah all right. Well I don't know about you but I feel inspired so we can go on with the rest of the podcast. Now we're going to get into the media part of the podcast and this section is called the the beef and this is where we've got questions from fans we've got CELEB- advice we've got business advice. Everything is held cash should contain. So we've got our first question. This is from read it and it is found by Fan Chelsea. Thank you very much. Chelsea person says. How can I stop biting my nails amid CV pandemic corona virus pandemic I- compulsively by my nails hangnails dead skin on fingers etc and it is currently crucial to stop this especially at work? I've tried spraying my fingers with Bitter Apple Spray and I've tried money jar but I usually can't fight the impulse. Do you know of any tricks can use to break compulsive behaviors like this sincerely getting nailed in Nebraska kings nails. You know what that's actually a problem. I have to definitely Bayamon nails especially when I'm driving. Oh really that's like my worst time to do that. I definitely am a nail biter. Hopefully not both hands at the same time double it just non traffic. Both at the. That's that is a hard one. I mean because she's already doing everything that they suggest which is like hot sauce or bitter apple spray. I've never heard of the bitter apple spray but I kind of like sour apple is similar or is it just like better. It's not oh it's like a hard cider that they've used that for like you know like dogs too. I think they'll put it like it's just like a spray to make it. I wish I could help. I'm having trouble girl. Yeah maybe so. She was on the right track with this spray. Maybe some Lysol spray. So it's completely disinfected bench. And then he had a hard one mainly just conscious consciously because already just this last week like I've just been more conscious of it so it's just like you know what I'm out and about like I'm not like I dunno even just recently and it's like I found this move that instead of doing like this needs thing it's like just like clearly in your cover your face. Lewis gets right here. Nothing gets out so just something like that like even just like being a tiny bit more conscious. It's just like kind of stepping that direction. I like that. I think there's a cure all for this stuff but just literally like when you buy them just like literally maybe find something else league. Take thirty seconds about the dudes but like oh find something else to do. Thirty seconds. Maybe you do at least put it off for thirty seconds and counting getting that lesson in your brain or like in a way. That's good because I think so. We've got the TV in the living room but if I want to play more guitar. I put my guitar out in the Living Room. So I've got that they're it's it's top of mind and it's easier for me to make the decision to go play rather than if it's in the closet or something like that so. I love that idea you could also maybe because if you're biting your nails if you tattoo don't do it one letter across each finger that might that might be another warning sign where it's top of mind and you're like. Oh you look really gangsta. I wouldn't suggest guitar players. Oh God yes seriously. That'd be horrible. Even just getting a little paper cut like I'm marooned. Oh man it goes my career all right. I think that's pretty good so getting nailed in. Nebraska has some good tips for not biting their nails. Let's move on to the next segment and this is celeb- advice celebs may seem like near perfect examples of human beings and they are but they get in a pickle sometimes too which is why we dedicate a segment of our show to give them even more attention. So we're GonNa read an article from one of the most trustworthy sources TMZ. I'm sorry Perez Hilton so before we do. This is the spot where I usually ask our guests. If they can do any celebrity impressions of now the top of my head. Can you do you? Do you ever do covers? Can you sing like like other The thing about us is like I'm notorious for not singing a song the way it should be sung. I specifically like change everything so that it's me like all purposely picked girls songs like lizard choose hurts like boys on now his child. It's like I you know it's like I purposely songs to make them more like me but I do do the every now and then. I'll do the shaggy voice because we do. A lot of shaggy will also be like few shaggy momentum that now. That's pretty good. We'll take that one all right so this juicy gossip comes from Perez Hilton and it says Post Malone facing hold on I gotta get my voice Pulse Malone facing backlash over Denver Show Amid Corona Virus Fears Post Malone was anything but postponed his show in Denver. Oddly went on despite everything else getting canceled amid fears of widespread of the corona virus the rappers facing tons of heat after performing Thursday night in front of a sold out crowd at Pepsi Center. Quite the opposite of social distancing Colorado hasn't banned large public gatherings but health officials in the centennial state warned against it to steam. The Fast Spreading Disease Stanton Post show drew even more higher considering the NBA NCAA NHL MLS MLB another major or exalted organizations postpones. Next GIG is next week at Chase Center and Frisco what what should he do? I don't know how my voice went from nineteen forties transatlantic hot off the press here shrine but anyway suppose my own did a show in Denver. You probably shouldn't have or maybe he should have. What do you think Corey? Do you think you should have done? It added I mean like man. I'd like that's the thing is like I don't know if all this stuff is like real like real or if it's you know like I understand what they're doing and why they're doing it. Yeah but like I just I don't know I mean like he wasn't legal. It's like did anybody get you know. Pass it around there. I mean but like I hate to say this but it's like man there was like I mean it's like old town there. There's somebody had the stuff at clubs in. Old Town is like. Do you think that they closed that night? No I was playing at the w nine solid the club that apparently the person worked there and there was like a lot of people in there and it. Just you know it's like I don't. I don't know what the right move is to do. I don't know because these are people that are trying to make a living. Yeah you know it's just like I don't. I don't know what the right thing to do this but I do his show next week. We'll definitely be cancelled. I'll tell I'll tell you what the right thing to do. Is I think the problem is old people because obviously the corona virus is basically a quote flu. Yeah and so. If we're going to probably get it and that's going to be okay. But then old people are going to get it and they're they're going to die so. I think what we need to do is just quarantine. All the old people put them in a retirement home which most of them already are. So then you keep them there and then the young people can keep doing their things so a postal needs to do is check. Id's at the line but if you're over fifty five you can't get into so. I feel like that could solve a lot of our problems. It could help re stimulate the economy and then we'd understand what it'd be like to not have old people that yeah there'd be a sunset shut down. Oh Yeah we couldn't use the phrase okay boomer anymore by other than that I mean. What are the disadvantages? Maybe no sage advice from an old timer. Let's funny because it's like. My parents are like sixty but they like they look like forty. Now there's spry yeah fries probably gonNA outlive me. Healthy as hell moms healthy ends like man. I'm the one that likes smoke. Cigarettes doesn't treat my body like deadly. Outlive me I know. San Francisco's like on super shutdown. So that shows definitely cancelled over sure. Oh Yeah I. That's what I've been hearing. Is that people in San Francisco or like extra extra shutdown right now. Damn yeah crazy so yeah. It's probably in the next seventy two hours here. You'll hear like restaurants and so I'm just like sit out. This hope that some of those golf resort still on some live. We played at the WWLAMFM. Cool at least you know. They Still Lonesome Music. People dancing to you. Know it's like people were like normal normal day life. There was yeah. Town was packed on Saturday. Not Pack but have you thought about merch ideas like a hourglass cats has met suit or face masks. I know that's messed up on the face MAC thing should the US funding. Because I have my apparel company to like my art apparel Amazon aware with an island a are Oh we've been vending like raves and Kinda like festivals and stuff and I brought the bandannas out and stuff and then like my Franken beanies a dude. You gotta get the face mass roll on and I was like great. L. Mates lament is like seven months ago man harden and just like a missed opportunity. And it's like by now. It's too late you know it's Yeah Yeah I'm not GONNA have time. I don't even know where to order. Good luck in finding that even the cloth. Ones it's like I guarantee all those wholesalers or God. Yeah well it's like that would have been great. You know it's I have three hundred facemask pre order the cloth months too. Yeah yeah this would have been rich. Dam Dam next time. No and I thought I was going to launch my website this week to for sight. But it's just like you know it's like things kind of things came up and corona virus. Yeah yeah that's going to jail for the next few weeks I think. Yeah just watch this thing blow over. Hopefully I'M GONNA try. I read a bunch of music as long as looking forward to. Oh there you go there you go any of them titled Corona Virus. I was obviously going to try and write something that like you know has at least the feeling. Because that's the thing is like I'm not very much a writer of like I want to sit down and write a song like me. I think of a melody and it just kind of freestyles collect freestyles and kind of like you know. It's like our. Here's a freestyle freestyle freestyle. I'll take something from here or something from here. Something from your so a Lotta Times like it doesn't make sense. Yeah has gone. Based off of what sounds flows. He'll be like oh man. I really liked what you were going for your look. They get their own meaning all right. Cool Dude I wasn't even thinking about anything when those words came out of my mouth. Just like 'cause that's the thing is like for me it's like music and ideas and all his stuff like it's not ours like I don't know for us to just go out and trying to be like this is my idea and I'm gonNA copyrighted. Do all this stuff. We have to make my money and all this stuff. I don't believe that that's the way it is. I think that all ideas are like part of something bigger than us that we all get to access. So it's like the more I try and make something my own. The last like two less organic and less. I like vibe with my mind to me is like my vestiges comes out of me. It just comes out like I'm not even thinking just like bright tapping in you know what I mean. Yeah no strokes necessary it just comes right out and the more you think about it the harder like when I sit down. Think about stuff. It's it becomes a lot harder for me to write for sure. Sure Damn all right. Well thanks post good. Good luck with Post Malone. I think he's GonNa be just fine whether he doesn't concert or not. He's got that bud. Light royalty money coming in. I feel like he just needs to do another face tattoo. He could be just put his face like NASCAR he could start putting subway on there and all sorts of brands is eating a bud light on right on four. That's a good idea. All right moving on. We've got a word of the week because we classify ourselves as an `edu-tainment podcast and Apple. Podcast so we have to teach at one thing so the word this week is PAP lifts not just means. Pimple Gross. Yeah Pretty High School. Yeah me too. I was quite happy to live happily ever is could be titled Warning Guys Neck Sauce like no thank you all right moving on. We'RE GONNA move onto businesses. So we want to help business owners and we've created a segment called businesses where we take a one star review that whizzes on these businesses and give advice on how to clean that Whiz. So this is where we usually read. One-star reviews of businesses and make fun of the people that wrote those reviews but this week we went on instagram and we asked our fans to give corona virus. A yelp review. Oh God so we've got. We've got a couple of them nick. He says five stars all the way I traffic has never been so much better. Second I predict travel cost will drop significantly very soon vegas baby. We were talking about that. Third people are not all up in my bubble anymore. I mean I went to a movie. I was the only one there. Thanks Corona virus. So he's looking at the bright side. Yeah I WOULD. I would have to agree at least on like a little bit. Cleared out. There and traffic was okay today. Traffic was pretty good over here in normally. Go Down Twenty Four. Th Street in Glendale is like it's a standstill the way up to the freeway. No store right up bath maeve. She gives it to STARS SAYS MINUS FOUR FOR PEOPLE DYING plus one for being able to work in my pajamas. She's got a point all right looking at the bright side. Not a full one star. She's Liggins got a silver lining to stars. The I would I would. I would have to say if I was in any other industry I would probably three star at just because working from home and not having to go to work for next. I mean pretty much like almost everyone except for like one of the girl I'm dating. She works for the Arizona Humane Society so she screwed. She's got a job. She can't bring the animals home. No you go on Poopie cats and I foster this little three legged Chihuahua Keebler and you know he's cute though they deserve the help and stuff for anybody else. That's like a musician or a bartender server. I doubt I would I would love. I'm very jealous of my drummer. Who works for door dash from homage close offices and you can just call to his calls and stuff all day and oh man a lot of people are able to work even my even. Chaz you know he's like they're not doing home inspections they're doing call in home inspections. How does that even work there? We'll go out and check out OK. Okay people aren't allowed to go out there so he has to like almost like facetime. It's crazy yeah my friend. Who's in me and my other two friends that are corn bill that do real estate and he does timeshares it off the next two months now. Wow because no one's traveling to Sedona or any of that stuff you know there's like down so yeah if you could do that then it's like I don't see it like you know. In my opinion those people are looking for everyone else. Like like me and a lot of my friends and stuff. We're going to be interesting to see where we're at a month. Yeah just feel like okay. Have you ever tried to just dial into a normal job? No no even just a musician job. Just conference call it in and be like all right guys. Everybody give it up for us. Yeah everyone's trying to tell them they're like get on twitch or something like that and I'm just like that's just not me. I don't know I'm not like a donate to me will assist me. It's like I don't know it's like even when I go play out you know there's like everyone's always look. Oh you need to jar like all a lot of musicians. Draw all about like the tip jars but for me. If I'm getting paid if someone wants to throw money at me I'm obviously going to accept it but I'm not like trying to like pander I'm down to work for my money. So it's like if there's a guarantee from me there I don't need a tip jar things like that you know. It's like if somebody wants to go out of their way and like or if I give them a CD and they're like. Oh here's twenty bucks. That's more like Mike and stuff like another give you something for right. I feel I feel like tip jars. Didn't make things awkward. Do People feel expected to give things afterwards? I tried it with my wife after sex. One didn't really work out too. Well is it but no I definitely get your point so facemasks maybe stock up on them next time. No next time out now. Prepare for the next pandemic. Also I face masks there. You go in the logo toilet paper low action about it. Yeah I should have done next. Wipe your ass this cat terrible. Oh you could have a leering on each sheet to a pretty cool like those people are selling like the trump toilet paper killing and now so seriously all my people now. That didn't even don't even want that specifically those like I'm just GonNa have to sorry trope. Oh my God imagine you supported in the whole way and then the last year. You're just like I'm so sorry. Trump only place selling it a man and then so tim. J. He Leaves Review. He says it's all a damp squib. Not Enough death or writing. One out of ten would not recommend so. I think he wants more mayhem. Yeah I think you kind of expect it with all the pandemonium. It's being generated on the news. But yeah that's the thing is is it's A. There's early to at the same time you know. It's like it's hard to tell really what's going to happen like everyone's like oh we're phoning until like this time but it's like really in like a month or so like wouldn't it be like widespread if it's already like a widespread pandemic than like wouldn't it just be more widespread pandemic league right in a month two or three months or whatever. I don't know man like I I don't even like the thing is a huge part of me. That doesn't want to think about it. Because the more we think about the more repainting. Yeah the panic the worse it gets all the Shitty people right now. That are out there stocking up on products price-gouging for toilet paper hand sanitizer that type of stuff. Imagine how bad it's going to get if we really need that stuff. And and people can carry guns here in Arizona so I mean if people are fighting for their lives. I wonder how bad it could get to cottonwood. Man Oh my God I. My home was GonNa like close-up way. They're going to have like a militia setup and now people up like you know the seventeen or whatever it's like it it's a it's a weird. Phoenix is definitely a weird spot to be living right now. You know because that's the first thing my friends told me they do. Come up to come up. The Corn Ville Schick. It's like going down but it's like man we're Phoenix is one way road out here. It's like the bunker down. Hope for the best. Yeah I've I just I don't want to freak out because I know like that's the thing is like a lot of people are telling me like my parents and stuff that people have. They tell me that they haven't seen stuff like this before. But they think it's just like everyone's freaking out and that's really what it is just like me and they're like people are like do you see how people are freaking out. Imagine if they told US Aliens Yeah. Why do you think they haven't talked about this stuff? Why do you think they haven't released information? That's like what's going on right now and it's like not even that best for the flu. It's like I mean just I don't. I'm not as much afraid of like what like the disease is. I am afraid of the Panama of crazy. Same Old same of the toilet paper buyers and the you know all this stuff and it's just like I don't know people like that like they're crazy just like you just can't trust people like that like there. They'll do anything you know. It's like man.
