Matt Whitaker Reacts to the Supreme Court's EPA Ruling

"On a case that is not getting frankly as much in is because it takes a little bit more to discuss, but it's pretty plain and simple. The EPA court, I was excited as much about the West Virginia case, is any of the other case believe me, I was excited about the Dobbs case and others. But this EPA case is something you saw firsthand dealing in the administration level that executive branches have believed that they can have more power than Congress gives them to give us your thoughts on that. Well, I think there's always been an unholy alliance between the administrative state, the ABC admin, you know, unelected bureaucrats and the Congress who don't have to make the tough choices of what they're actually going to regulate. And so they've offloaded in very vague statutes. Some of these powers, whether it's to regulate water, regulate air, quality, regulate all these issues, and of course the administrative state has picked up the baton and run as far as they possibly can. This West Virginia case, I think you're right. I think it's a very important case. Probably not the most important because Dobbs, you know, certainly. Was revolutionary in its restoring the balance of power in the constitution between three branches in the states, but ultimately this West Virginia case versus the EPA is puts the administrative Genie back in the bottle. Makes Congress pass specific legislation to address these issues that are determined to be important. And again, a restores power to the people and takes it out of Washington, D.C., and out of these unelected bureaucrats. So

Doug Collins and Matt Whitaker Discuss the Left's 'Judicial Activism'

"Line, we got former active attorney general Matt winner, good friend of mine, got to know him a lot. We sort of traded books. He's been in my books. But Matt, it is good to have you on how you been today. I'm doing awesome. My friend, how are you? Happy Independence Day. Hey man, happy independence. It's good to celebrate it, isn't it? You know. We have the best country in the world. Well, and we just always need to remember the Patriots that gave the ultimate sacrifice or were willing to give the ultimate sacrifice. Not only to secure our liberty, but also to defend it for the last almost 250 years. It's really a celebration of just what makes America great, I think. Oh, I agree with you completely and looking at it. But I want to turn my attention, of course, we've had a, I think, and I said it in the first segment today. The left is calling a judicial activism. We're simply calling it back to reality and interpreting interpreting the law in a constitutional. I mean, what we're seeing out there right now is that it reminds me of the scene from The Wizard of Oz, the liberals. I don't think it's amazing because actual real law. But I want you to respond to this. I mean, what bothers me about this though is the president has been overseas. He's been to G 7. Whatever, but he's been there. But then when he had the opportunity when he starts talking about it, he actually degrades our court on a world stage. I want you to listen to this and I want to get your comments on this. I'm joined by a group of democratic governors. We work closely to protect women's rights after this tragic reversal of roe V wade. The terrible extreme decision in my view, upending lives and impacting on the health and safety of millions of women. And I share the public outrage at this extremist court that's committed to moving America backwards. And now Matt, come on. I mean, he said this day, but he said it on world stage. Tell me, what is this court extremist, except they didn't know what they want. No, I mean, I think this restores constitutional jurisprudence closer to the constitution. And I've never, you know, the Democrats are always talking about democracy, right? They're always like, we're a democracy. We're actually we're a constitutional republic, but let's not quibble. Ultimately, the people are sovereign. And this opinion restored the power of this issue to the people and to the

Liberals on Fire! With Guest Host Doug Collins

"Of the things that's always amazed me is we always hear from the left about the judicial item. We want an active living view of the constitution. Well, folks, an active living view of the constitution means that you have a political view and not a legal view. I've always said in Washington D.C. and if you're listing out there, you need to understand this. We don't vote in Congress. And when I was there, senator was there, we don't vote on words on ideas we vote on words on paper. And by doing so, that means that there are certain things that the words actually mean and actually say, and we need to understand it. The Supreme Court gets that liberals don't get that. I want to start us off though, play clip 5. I want you to hear what judicial activism really means to a liberal. If what we've seen this term is not judicial activism, I don't know what is. This is a court that has used textualism in so many cases, claiming that they have to find the founding fathers intent. And using that to do absolutely insane things like permit people to have AR-15s in public in this country in the midst of a wave of gun violence. But by the same token, when textualism does not serve this court, they don't feel constrained by principle. And so we see the decision that we saw today in the EPA case, where they used something called the major questions doctrine, very rarely used to say that Congress hadn't given the EPA sufficient authority hadn't been explicit enough in that grant of authority to permit the EPA to take important steps to slow the advance of climate change. And it's amazing when you think that we've seen that same doctrine very rarely used in our nation's history, used a couple of other times by this court in one case to end the nationwide ban on evictions during the pandemic. And in another to keep Joe Biden from requiring vaccination at large companies. So this is a court that's been very facile about how it's used doctrine. It's not a good look. It's very disheartening to people like Neil and like me who love the court and love the law because we understand that the core of the court's authority is its integrity. It doesn't have an army to go out and enforce its orders. Oh my goodness. Did you just hear that, folks? I mean, I could not have ever a vision, a better articulation of the liberals just upset about this when they said, judicial activism. Folks, they believed judicial activism is anything that the liberals want.

Erich Pratt on the Demonization of Guns in America

"It's almost as if we've divorced the responsibility aspect of this. It's easy to see and how they do it with guns. It's beginning to be disturbing when they won't classify it in things like cars, which calls far more deaths than everything else than anything the guns do. And yet typically they don't coin the term car violence, or on 9 11, they didn't talk about plane violence or box cutter violence, right? So yeah, you're right. Guns are treated differently. And they're treated differently, obviously for the purpose of demonizing them because let's face it the left is about power and control and they hate the fact that there are so many people in this country that can protect themselves, not only against the common crime type of thing. But also the ultimate reason for defense against tyranny. And you know, this is such an important thing and I know there's a lot of things you want to talk about here. I just wrote a book and released the book where I really get into this a lot. Just showing how important guns are to freedom and how in countries overseas, where they have squelched that freedom, it's resulted in tyranny and in many cases, genocide, but how in our own history, I mean, not only against the British, hello, you know, we use guns to stop attempts to disarm us and tyrannize us. But even, you know, this is something that the left doesn't like to talk about. But we saw this during the civil rights era where African Americans were using guns to protect themselves against official

Is It Time for a Complete Overhaul of ATF? Erich Pratt Explains

"Is it time for a complete overhaul of ATF? You know, that's an interesting question that's been debated by a lot of Second Amendment activists, because you get rid of the agency, there's still the laws in place that require the job to be done that they're doing. So let me just argue. We don't do away with ATF, but there's another agency that I would like to see redone or reimagine. That's called the core of engineers, okay? The deals with our water and everything else. But is there a way to take the ATF, get it back to its core competencies and not have it be a lightning rod for the Second Amendment issues? Well, you know, I think one thing you were saying earlier, there are some good people at the ATF. I mean, there are whistleblowers that come out. There are some people that we work with. I mean, there are. But typically it's been corrupt from the top down. And that's one reason why we so strenuously, oh my goodness fought to keep David chipman who was just an anti gun zealot from being confirmed. And I'll tell you that. That right there shows that the American people voicing their concerns can make a difference because there's no reason why in a Democrat Senate. I mean, I know it's 50 50, but with Kamala, you get the tie breaker. There's no reason why he shouldn't have been confirmed. I mean, just look at every judge that Biden puts up. They all get confirmed 51 50, okay? This should have been no different except we raised such a stink. And it wasn't just us. Other gun groups too, but just rallying the grassroots made a huge difference. And so not only did we keep the squishy Republicans against camp, but we even pulled even people beyond Joe Manchin of West Virginia. There were some other senators who were also saying, I just can't go with

The State of 2nd Amendment Rights With Erich Pratt

"Gun rights? In the United States right now? Well, I think we've got challenges. There's assaults all over the place on our rights. However, at the same time, a lot of good things are happening. And so it might be good just to really talk about both things. I mean, we are under assault in certain areas. I mean, we may have talked about this on your radio show, but the ATF registration. This is a huge issue. And the left knows it's a big issue. I'll explain why. First just a little backstory. Last year, gun owners gun owners of America leaked the story that the Biden administration was accumulating records. Now we have known for really decades that ATF has been collecting records, but we found that in one year, they had collected 54 million records. And that's a pretty stunning number. And so let's stop right there for just a second. Let's look at that sink in. You know, sometimes in life we pass by, we don't smell the roses. I want people to understand is 54 million records in the last year you said, is that correct? Yeah, in one year. And that was stunning. It is stunning and today on a totally separate note. I mean, this is something I felt with in D.C. and my judiciary committee days forever. We're finding the CIA is keeping databases as well. This is not something people need to pass by. So as you take into account who in the podcast, 54 million continue from there. So I want to say, first of all, I'm very grateful to representative cloud of Texas because he took that information the 54 billion. Sorry, that number. And millions, billions, when you're in Washington, the numbers blur. Anyway, we'll talk about it. So he took that information with 51 other representatives, they demanded an accounting from the ATF. Well, what they got back was even more stunning because Biden's ATF admitted that they had almost 1 billion records in their possession. It's almost as if

Arnold Schwarzenegger's daughter. On a November 2nd. He is accused. This is the headline. Chris Pratt is accused of sexism. The drop in to catch this? After Instagram post, in which he called wife, Catherine Schwarzenegger, oh, that would have been a giveaway. How many towards the negatives do you know, not related to Arnold? His greatest treasure. I i feel like we've been getting requests for this episode since the movie came out almost three years ago. Now so it's been a long time coming and i'm so Excited to cover it same but hold on. What is our podcast. Oh gee whiz it's examination of film Through an intersectional feminist lens right where we use the bechtel test simply as a jumping off point to initiate a larger conversation and the bechtel test of course is a medium metric created by quick cartoonist. Alison bechtel sometimes. Called the bechtel. Wallace test that requires our variation on the test is that to people of any marginalized gender Have to have names. They must speak to each other and their conversation has to be about something other than a man. Ideally it is a meaningful plot relevant conversation but if it's a two line exchange we'll we'll consider it. We go case by case. I don't think it's a huge issue for this particular movie but we have We've had to really get in the weeds in the past caitlyn. I was realizing the other day that we've been on this podcast longer than we were in high school. Whoa how why. And i feel like. I've learned way more same so we're like i did a nice school. She is a freelance journalist. She's had work published in harper's bazaar she's also a film student and aspiring filmmaker. It's michael michelle pratt. Hello and welcome. Thank you for having me not. I'm a huge fan in real excited. Devean i i i love this movie so i'm very excited young. We're so happy to have you. We're so psyched at so we're we're covering Widows at twenty eighteen movie directed by steve mcqueen. Screenplay by steve mcqueen. Gillian is it gets gillian. God damn. I'm a misogynist. Which is why i check before but either way So so michael michelle to get stuff started What is your history with this movie. Yes i i wanted to go see in theaters. I think it might have been. I don't either openly or the week after opening weekend by out with my mom Like a like a like a really late night. Showing 'cause i i loved the trailer I think we all day. This is just you know her existence. I just all reforms for everything. I love her. I'm not a hitch. W i love everything else i. He's also really brilliant. I was just like. I was like really psyched for this and i love trailer win to go see it And then was really mad. It was like me and one other guy. I'm a corner. I was like this is no one else. Was there no. He was like three of us. Just at this like awkward like eleven of screening and i was like wow okay as what does your mom think. So she she liked it but she didn't like the ending 'cause she my mom hated like in big endings and i was like that's the fun of it. 'cause they're like maybe they become. You don't know they've been letting doing this. Whole this. really promoters traumatic feud with the kind of brendan. It's cool and i love films. That's like my thing. But she was like she was. I wanted closure out. That wasn't the point but also you find the yes she wouldn't she wasn't really a fan of the of the ending but other than that. I feel like this. Yeah nice jamie what about you. What's your relationship with the movie. not too much. i had seen it. I think I hadn't i hadn't seen it until quarantine last year But i had a copy of it at my house. My boyfriend's a huge fan of this movie. He seat at like ten times. It's like one of his comfort movies all even though it's like not even that old of a movie so he was like you're going to sit down with me and and it's not very comforting. No it's kind of stressful. But i don't know. I feel like everyone has a stressful comfort movie. Like i can't exactly put my finger on why this would bring me peace but for some reason it does. I mean titanic is definitely one of my company movies and also not comforting at all and bodies are hitting the floor the whole time but yes i just saw it last year and now i think i've seen it three times and it's so it's already so interesting where this movie is three years old but i feel already having a little bit of distance from it. It's really interesting to watch back. Because this was like immediately after the me too movement started movie. And i feel like that is very present and how it was marketed and already just with a couple of years of of of distance from it. I really enjoyed the movie. I it's like such a blast. The cast is like. I can't think of a more fun. Cast for a movie and yeah. I don't know there's so much to talk about. It's a it's a it's a goddamn rump what what about you kaitlyn. What's your history with this one. I didn't see it in theaters. But i saw it a few months later. You know. I remember there being quite a bit of buzz about it and won some awards. I think some bafta zai believe so i. This is a very british movie for a movie that takes place in chicago. Com steve mcqueen was english until i really started reading stuff about him. Yeah i don't know how. I missed that detail. They did make the kind of stray observation that there are a lot of british and irish actors in this movie playing americans between colin farrell. Yeah liam niessen and daniel kalou. Yeah like once you knows steve mcqueen from the uk. you're like. Oh oh yeah. That's why half of this cast is very much not from chicago. Yeah so anyway. I saw the movie. I love a good heist movie. And i sent the areva to is british. I believe sorry. Oh is she. Okay got it. Yeah but yeah i I thought it was a really well. Crafted movie and i was excited to watch it again and to discuss it right here on this episode. Yip should we get into the recap. Let's do it now okay. So the movie begins with a robbery that is taking place by team of four men We also cut to like quick glimpses of their home lives and we see them with their wives. Their wives their wives. There is the ringleader. Is harry rawlings. that's liam newson. He is married to veronica rawlings. That is viola davis the other other wives are. This is going to be very hard for me to not constantly do this. I mean that's literally. The premise of the movie is like lear wive. Their wives their dead husbands exactly every five seconds. He just remind you they're dead so the other wives are linda. That's michelle rodriguez alice. That's elizabeth debakey. And i think of her as mrs tenant. That's the only other thing i know from. She's really tall. He's really tall and she was intended. I did not realize that was her. Yes tenant i mean. I feel like i blocked it all out. She was definitely in it. Good.

"Shah burton. He's back. I do want to point out that when danny and brandon were talking danny had expressed that brandon had had this past of this kind of sleeping around sleeping with more people than she had so i kind of get where she was coming from. That would kinda frustrate me too. If i'm not someone who has been with a lot of people in the past and my boyfriend has slept with a ton of people that are constantly around them. That kind of bother me. She hasn't watched the show enough. That i think is not getting yourself into right. Mu surprised also wells that they broke the fourth wall or whatever. It's called where they did that. Like almost a drone shot and showed the cameras at that party no because once he acknowledges the crew then they have to pull back and show what it looks like doesn't make any sense be never says like hey get the camera out of my face. Once he does that you have to kind of show. What's happening. How many more episodes do we have of this show. I literally trying to find that out myself. I literally think it goes into august. I think we've got like four more. Oh my god. What are they going to talk about. What is going to happen next. It's exhausting it's like my god. Can you give us any sneaks paradise anything anything. I cannot wait. Will they just announced obviously aaron and connor and bocskai. James we're going to be on the show got kicked off of katie's season. I guess lat this past week. No i was doing a bunch of press for it and there is a bunch of crazy stuff at kind of stuff that you would expect to see. That's happened in years past. You know people scheming before the show happens and you're like has no one learned any lessons. Apparently not but there is one crazy thing that happens that i was amazed at it happened and when it happened i was like completely shook. I never thought something like that would happen. And i'm interested to see like how the audience takes it. Because it's it's really really bonkers so you're gonna tell us cause i can't tell you who it was and what happened and everything then i would be sued for breaking my. My money's on grocery store joe. I think he's gonna own that beach. Charming little love bug. I liked that one. My bets on brendan also solid. Bet fan favorite heartthrob because we're now in the bachelor world and this this whole episodes completely just kind of like devolved and i so i don't know what happens but i do wanna know who do you guys. Think katie is going to pick in the end. O- obviously it's the dude that showed up from patie- season. Blake you over lobby and i. I can tell you why why that guy wants love. I'm not judging him that he's been on three seasons of the bachelorette in two days. I'm not judging that at all what i'm saying. This guy is there for the right reasons even if it seems like. He isn't because he's like. I'll take claire. I'll take. I'll take katie. That guy wants to settle down and have love. It's it's blake one hundred percent. I felt like that from like back in the day when they first were teasing he was a part of the shows. Like he's totally taking it. They look good together. They have like the personalities mesh well. I don't know i just i. I was with amy like right. When i saw that he was joining the cast. As like that. here's you always is the bachelorette do that once a why. That's michael with the whole love story about his wife and missing you know. I think it's michael money's on michael. You're telling me that no one here is going with greg. Lake losing my mind. All right all right sorry. Wells is like blake shows up in paradise. I don't think he does good point though. Danielle looking forward into what the hills season two is going to do. What do we think is going to happen. Do you think there'll be some sort of fences mended with the pratt's and everybody else or do you think that. Like everyone's gonna kinda ride out this like kind of like ostracizing them from the group. I think we're gonna not a divide it's gonna be like team pratt or team other side team waller's agreed agreed. I think it's the products plus brody versus. Everyone else not gonna disagree with that. Can i say something that would be considered probably uncouth. Is that the right word. Kind of like i think. When caitlyn shot her interstitial or camera what is that called wells her one on one interviews. One of those calls well are called items in bachelor world in the moments. But i think that these are called interviews in an mtv world. Am i the only one that thinks she's pregnant oath. Hondas i think europe those. She was pregnant because i agree her. Boobs were massive. They were so big. Yup so i think they shot those after she was pregnant. Maybe not publicly announced. But i noticed that amy. I noticed that. Thank you and. I think we can say that. I don't think wells can say that. But i think we can say that wells straight. I didn't even bring it up. Because i thought yeah. You can obviously tell that she's pregnant in these and this is a very late pickup that she had to do months down the rogues. They'd change storylines so and then all of a sudden caroline. Pizza carolina got a boyfriend. You episodes ago. She was professing her. Love to kaitlin fast on this show producers of the hills. I don't need you guys to be introducing new characters to me. I need you to focus on the ones. We got justice for frankie like that. Poor kid is on the stupid show and no one ever gets assume. It's absolutely ridiculous thing. Nothing no he's like. I've been since jumps three like from the hills laguna beach. And you guys keep cutting me on the show and your show me carolina the poker night. He'll bad anything else. Any closing arguments. I do enjoy this show so as much in. It's just a total hot mess train wreck. I'm not mad every.

"Me. But isn't that guaranteeing you the that will be shown. Yeah of course the second you hear these cameras way for me. That's when producers are like. Let's get four more cameras around brandon. Alright we need south. West east and north covered here are get some lighting in there. We the boom mic and potentially we need a drone. 'cause new knows what's gonna happen. We can you give us some expertise if you really wanted to get the cameras off of you. What is the move. Be the most boring person there. The way to do it is to take your microphone off. Wrap it up handed to the sound guy. Say thanks so much. I'm gonna get outta here and then walk out. That's how you do it. The best memories. Please tell me. And if you haven't yourself a favor and youtube. Vienna and jake belqas bachelor break-up special so that was the one that got that was done in front of chris right. Yeah yeah. it's sitting there. The interview with them back to the brandon danny of it all. This was the first time that i saw 'cause 'cause for this entire season i'm like wow brennan's like really even keeled level headed seems really really smarr. This is the first time where i was like. Oh you have a temper. Okay i understand. Do you think that this is like point of no return for brandon. Danny now i mean in normal person world's sherbert in this world. just a blip. It has seemed like though up till this point. That brandon is way more into the relationship than danny is. I think he's way more invested by the whole thing. It's all seems totally. It's fake just seems so weird. What do you say that. I don't know like even last episode when they were in taua when he asked her to move in and she was kind of skeptical on saying she wasn't ready and he's always talking about how rain and just wishes danny was around all the time. He misses her money. Four seven when she is not with him. I don't know he seems way more into it than she is but amy. Why don't you buy any of it. I think he's a decent actor and he's playing the part of like the good boyfriend now but he's young and just like i don't know he just none of it seems i don't know. Is that the girl the girl that caused all the drama. The tiki party is that the girl from season one remember. He had the girlfriend in season one. Just her they're different. Yeah i remember in the season one one. He was kind of like not. That wasn't her. Why was that girl familiar to me. They look the same season. One girlfriend ashley. Sky was on her to daniele beckerman right. And so was that ashley sky at the party. She was different and she was the girl. That brandon had hooked up with most recently before. Danny now the girl's name was michel who showed up at the tiki party. E shah burton. He's back. I do want to point out that when danny and brandon were talking danny had expressed that brandon.

"My bag. I do think the things that they want to like. Cut out to like save. Money is pretty funny. It's like the streaming services. Yes the hulu. That's getting you guys. Plus you've got us again. It's not the ten thousand crystals they have in the background in the meeting with the financial nicer man. I do find them entertaining now. That's the thing there's no entertaining. So god and the fights over nothing like what do you think that they're going to get their own spinoff. 'cause here's what i think's going to happen is that everyone might get kind of tired of the bs with them and everyone's going to be like we can do the show without them. Do they get their own spinoff. Real housewives. I think they rig on the show so much in the press that i don't know if that's the smart play but i know expert wells. Heidi is totally going to be a real housewife one day. Sure whatever city. She's in she is a hundred percent a housewife. Wow spot on. They're going to be great zab bravo bravo. Yeah yeah that's what they're doing. They're trying to an exit strategy. They're talking a lot of trash about the show. They're trying to get out because they want to be on the real housewives of calabasas. They're gonna start it so we're gonna brody is the only one team pratt like as anyone else li like on their side. Not really governor governor. Yeah i'm just a little still on the blocking. But i can let it go but i just didn't like befuddled by the blocking but saying like she could have reached out to me or wouldn't you be so hurt like it someone block do. The last thing you're going to do is go like let me text. You say hey. Why did you block me. But that's kind of like the desperate girlfriend right that's like why did you break up with me. The worst is when you block somebody and they have no idea that you blocked them and then it shows that like they released. Don't give a crap about you. They're like oh yeah. I was living my life this entire time. And i have no idea. I didn't see any of your instagram stories. Because you're already muted one question. Everyone has to tell the truth. Have you ever googled. How do i know if i'm blocked. And what's the answer. If you send a text and it doesn't go through and doesn't say delivered. It might even go green your blocked but then one time. I thought someone may be blocked. Me and then i sent text and it went green and i was like heartbroken ride. They blocked me but really they were just on a plane and they texted me back as soon as they landed. You have an android. Do not be friends. With amy maker. Cry seriously listen android wells. How are you forgetting this. Remember our group tax. My johnson had the android and you kept texting. Who is ruining this group pack. Yeah i have a rule. That if i don't talk to you or like texts with you or talk to you within six months than i. I'm allowed to unfold you because you're not really my friend right. Which i think is a healthy thing when you follow a bunch of people. That aren't really your fringers. What am i doing here. And so all four hundred people. That aren't my friends. what are you talking about. You don't want to follow anybody. It's cute outfitters different than like yes. I follow chrissy teigen her. You know like she's a k. Recently ever that's different people that are your friends or like that you are acquaintances that you follow and then you're like i haven't talked to that person in in over a year. I don't think we're friends anymore. So anyways i was telling my johnson this because there's a lot of people like the bachelor we're older. I'm like yes. We did the show six years ago but like we're not friends you mad at me that i don't follow you anymore. And so i told my johnson this at heart fast years ago. He's got a reminder on his phone to text me every six months and it says. Hey it's mike just wanna make sure. I don't get the follow from you. I loved my guy that is so good. I don't know that a lot of girls subscribe your theory though. You're engaged so i think single girls are like i haven't talked to that dude in three years but i'm gonna keep keep following him and and keep it going because you never know when you need to dip back into that well. Yeah that's fair enough. They're using instagram differently than i'm using instagram for. They're using as a possible like matchmaker situation. Where i'm using. Purely as i want to check in with my friends or get like scanned into buying stupid shit. That's what instagram is. Totally right. don't tell that to some nice girl who got divorced. Who's now dating her high school boyfriend. Very thankful they're still facebook friends. Yeah yeah happens on the regular abet adriana and brody look at that do you do you in on the. Yeah i wanted to say. Do you ask jason this. And he kind of skirted around the question. Do you think this is purely just to show mance or do you think it's like a real thing we briefly talked to ashleigh about this and this is my theory. I think they totally have hooked up. They're attracted to each other. They like sleeping with each other. But i think they heightened it for the show. I don't think they actually want to be together. I think they're just like yeah. We have fun sometimes. Make it a thing for the show. I googled. Who is brody dating. It said adriana on the worldwide web well guys urban spotted together. Yeah up by it. Jalen ben are getting photograph like everywhere they go. The cameras would have caught andrea number. If they've gone anywhere together since filming. Don't you think weird sidebar. Do we think that's gonna work. Or what do you do in going. Back anywhere will thank you for bringing this up. Do you have an hour. Because i want to discuss it in detail and our friend. Okay are very good friend. Who i won't name. I get a text from him the other day audio taxed. And he's like. Oh my god. Oh my god. my brentwood. Dreams have come true. I am at the brentwood country mart with benefactor stock. He said he was getting his chicken nuggets to go immediately. Kept them for their so he could sit. He said it seemed real very loving. Everyone was very cool not act. They were very cool acting like they didn't see them while they were staring at them. I need to know everything you think. Give me at all please. I never think it's a good idea to go back to a situation that didn't work in the first place. Obviously if it didn't work the first time then why would you think will be the second time i do. Feel like j.lo's a little bit on the rebound and you know. Batman why not. I wish him the best. Is there any other celebrity couple that has since broken up that you would love to see..

"Go yeah take me with you. Deal bills cast got like the entire iheart family Hanging out with me today because well. I just don't think we could book anybody. Because i think we've gone through everyone from the hills so far on the show and also like why. Not because as fun as it is to have jason and ashley on the show who like really went. Hard in the pain against the pratt's which was just beautiful. You know at the end of the day. Like this shows about fans reacting to the show. And so i thought what better way than to do that with actual fans of the show. We all watched the episode. I've got a lot of thoughts. So we're bringing in hana riley amy danielle and maybe east in. I don't know if he's a show and it's only so seen one was like poker night at brandon's everyone's kind of talking to brody bow. If he's talked to spencer since tahoe. And i said in the last episode where it seems like brody is team pratt because i think that possibly spencer has like some dirt on brody and he doesn't wanna cross him. What do you guys think about that. Something weird is because they didn't speak for big teen years and now he's like best bro. What when they first started filming and season one. They were like very awkward. Like they're like. Oh yeah we used to be best friends and we were filming this again. This kind of weird and so to be buddy buddy again at now. He's like my loyalties. With spencer. And i was like what is happening. The reason why the pratt's have both blocked me. I think was from last season. When i suggested that it looks like on. Tv brody just doesn't want to be friends with them anymore. They both blocked you. I forgot about it until the episode last week when like they went on a blocking spree. And then i was like surely. I'm not still blocked from these people's lives and lo and behold. I totally am. I literally had blocking as my number one topic. I need to ask you about because is it blocking so blocking. Obviously it was a topic because a heidi block done drina but yet not on her cell. What's she's only blocking her on instagram. Like so that andrea can't see her instagram's they sling stupid crap on their instagram. Just like everyone else. Why would you be like not letting more viewers see those things so you could get your engagement up to sell more crystals whatever and makes no sense blocked her cell but let her look at their public. Instagram's do you guys block anyone. Oh god no ever never on the eleventh of never when i ever block any human being. We're also not cool enough so while you bought people. I don't think so. I think that. I have blocked people on twitter. Who are i think are trolls and they just say like really nasty things. And i'm like i don't need i don't even need to see that in my life. How do you know that the pratt's locked you. So if i go to like instagram and look them up. It says like they are not available like look yet so public figures. You could just google spencer pratt instagram internet. So i'm on google right now. I've googled spencer pratt instagram. I'm going to click on it and it says sorry. This page isn't available. Wait even on. Your google knows your google. Yeah because i'm like log on your phone same thing. I'm by multiple log. Data my my instagram on this browser. So it knows that it's me but little dispenser pratt and know that my dogs account can totally go and look at his and potentially by crystals that could help their bottom line which ends up being a huge story line in this. Show them talking about their finances. I don't know if we need to go into this. Like right off the bat. But i'm going to do it because i feel like i don't want to bury the lead between five thousand and seven thousand dollars. A month on food is out -rageous. How should try and bigger that you went to nobu twice a week every week. That's how you could maybe do that. You taking five guests yeah. Let's do the math on it if you spend two hundred dollars a day every single day. That comes out to six thousand dollars. That's insane insane. That's not oh. I'm not going to throw them under the bus. It's not totally insane. No it is totally insane because if you go to the grocery store and you buy food for like four days out of the week sarah talking about and we're like they must post mate sugar fish every night every everyday. Yeah they're definitely they're eating out or ordering in every meal every day. I mean i still think are fashioned in the crystals are costing them so much. We'll we'll get back to you. Think that spencer's going through every instagram account. That follows him and just walking. The dog accounts. Now i hope it comes out in the press. He's blocked of bloodhound named coral on instagram. The that i thought was funny. But this whole like finances thing which i don't want to make too much fun of because no one wants to be in the red. Can you imagine if you're living in middle america. You hear this like how unrelatable this story is. When you're like you're spending between five and seven thousand sometimes ten thousand dollars a month on food like that's crazy. The thing that i thought was really funny about that and then we can kind of guess move on was they. Were like the tahoe. Trip costed us an arm and leg years where i call bush. That's part of production. There is no way on. God's green earth that mtv viacom isn't paying for every single portion of that thing great that constant nothing. Yeah and if it did guys we need to work on negotiating skills because that is crazy. If that's happening that would be like me going to paradise and being like all right. I got my box booze that i brought from home that i paid for spirit airlines. Got me here.

"A lot where someone will come off a show and say i got a really bad at it. They made me look. Xyz that annoys me. Because it's really really really hard to create a story line that didn't exist if people weren't talking about it or you weren't saying it or doing it when you watch the show back. It looks like spencer and heidi liked to drink. Seems very very evident that that is something that's happening. Every time they go out on that note row quick by may it's like we don't more power chia we don't care who drink or not and again as we're entitled to are getting if you are drinking you know morning and night and you become annoying. That's our opinion. we're not judging you. I mean that's just when we're around you it's something that obviously is going to impact us. We're going to have her own thought process around it. But we're not trying to you know say your bad parent or any of these other things that they were manifesting or thinking that we sat. It was no truth to that. Well i'm sorry about the episode last time. Sorry i had to go through it. But i'm glad that you you of came out of it. Molasses ask questions. Are you still blocked by By the pratt's or do you know. Are you able to. Dm them or not out deer now. I I am sure i'm still blocked. I haven't even looked but it's all good. It's all good. You know. I still have never. Maybe maybe they haven't blocked could shoot him a phone call. Yes so there was no message. That was. That was something that heidi said she was like. Well you know. Adriana has my number she can call me so you understand that like if you felt like you were wrong that someone to reach out to you so they'd ever reach out to you being like. Hey you know. I had too much. Jose cuervo last night and things got out of hand and i apologize no tax from the patch man. Oh you know not holding my breath either. What's going on in your life before let's go. What can i help you promote. Not did i think the main thing that you know is is the transition with the With the newborn baby we got wyatt. Who's been here for three weeks now. And just being there. For for ashley and delilah helping in every facet that i can and i notice still working on the red sabra foundation and stuff at the los angeles mission and help those. That are struggling out there. That's the biggest thing that i'm doing is trying to get people on a path of recovery. That's just where it's at you know family garden recovery's where i'm at inoperable two kids grow. What the hell happened. God bless you bro. Well i love you man. It's always fun catching up with you. Good luck with the rest of the season. Obviously you're always welcome honestly should just take over the show. I don't know why i do it. Let's go play golf. Saddam's go hang out. Let's get together man welcome back. It sounds like everything's going good with you and appreciate you having us on seriously. Yep good talking with you man and We'll see you later bro. Labor jason's awesome man. "Of a mental place for me or i wanted to do some self karen. His you know have no no chaos. Was the group surprised at all that. The pratt's left the next day. I'd say the majority of the cast new. They're newer they. Were gonna leave and or wanted them to lead and then there was a couple of people that want their bomb that they left kinda going forward into the episode. Caitlin was kind of commenting on the adrenal brody of it all and she said something that i thought was like really astute. She was like a dream has got a kid. You know wants to find a husband and a father. And she's with the guy who i can tell from personal experience doesn't want either of those things. Are you buying this whole relationship or is it just like a fun show mance did i mean. There's such a long history there between those two. You know what i mean like. I think there's definitely a a show. Manson i think that i think there's always been some chemistry over the course years on and off between them. I mean i don't know how deep it goes but it's it seemed like there's there's something they're going forward in the show because obviously you know what happens then. I want you to spoil anything. Belykh are fences mended for people or is there just now like a big rift in the group. Heidi and spencer apologize to knob. Just getting i mean. Now there's a huge risks brothers. It creates the biggest lead jagger. You know they're the last people that will ever take ownership or accountability for what was said and it's It's it becomes a part of it becomes a problem. You know it really becomes a problem in in how this moves forward. So is this now. The story line there some twist in terms. I mean you know there is a part of it that is there is a gap that is created between the group. But you also get a see who tries to make things right. And who doesn't and i think there's some really cool things that are coming up. That really can shed light and bring some attention and other areas that have been brought on yet. If that makes sense mic cited to see justin. Bobby's it see. It was like teas that he has his conversation with his father. And it looks like Just bobby's maturing or evolving or growing. I'm excited to see his story line. Because i feel like you know he's been this kind of like sage advice sky for awhile and it's almost like he's just kind of avoiding drama just to because he doesn't want to be involved in all of it but i want to see more of them because they feel like he is a very compelling character adjusted is one of the most. This season was incredible. Incredible to film with him. I learned more about this season than i have. The you know whatever the fifteen years of our friendship. I mean even for me to kinda see how this onion meat peeled back in others. There's a a a really really cool story behind it and to see where he's at and where he goes through. The rest of the season is is empowering. Him and i have a couple of other cool scenes that i'm really excited about in a hopefully. They'll shed some light and bring awareness to to substance abuse and mental health. Like it was a tough two episodes in a row for the waller clan. If this show continues on are you still want to be a part of it or are you starting to get a bad taste in your mouth from it. you know. Great question man it's It's one of the things where i think for me like what would keep me going for. This is the amount of people. This is impacting because we've had a a large number of people reach out that have struggled and or are struggling and that was one of the biggest part of the reasons why originally wanted to go back on. The show is to show. You can't change your life that you can You know you can obtain recovery and find a light a life. That's worth living. And i think a lot of that is starting to come to for wishing. Obviously there's you know there's some areas of question because of notice our own sanity and in what we're willing to put ourselves into but I couldn't decide one way or the other right now. you know. i think that's really where it is. But i mean at the end of the day is i know. I think that we are making a You know we're smashing. Stigma were raising awareness. And we're bringing light to recovery. Which ultimately the goal. If you were an ep on the show what would you have the show. Focus on more than it already. Does i mean in all honesty. I bring back kristen number. One cavalieri is the first thing i would do. And i will dive more into a more personal things that people are going through. I mean even just like frankie at an incredible story this year with with kobe. Working in the nightlife industry is whole world was turned upside down in what he had to do to pivot and how it affected his family. I mean there were things in there that i think a lot of people could related to. I think going a little bit deeper into people's relationships. I think because there are a lot of the cast of have some things that are relatable to a lot of people have gone through on. I think it'd be interesting. That i mean that's kinda would be my thoughts the more raw authentic. It can be the better off always is yeah and i think again as the cast has gone through a lot over the years especially the last year year and a half in that. There's a lot of things that they focus on. If you are in the edit in you could change things. What's something that you wish. The show didn't focus on so so heavily. I mean i think a lot of how the story was created about ashley. In the way that she was conveyed about being so you know nagging almost that it made it seem like towards heidi and spencer's drinking and stuff. That's not really what transpired than girls a lot. More back story to that. It made ashley look more like she was bitching a lot about situations when when it was just it was really edited that way so i think it would have been nice to have a lot of the conversations in the things that were said. Be conveyed to have ashley say the things that she saying to really have a clear understanding of the story line if that makes sense and i also think that we could have done without sean. Stewart's dating scene. I thought that was Something that could have not been there. But as my opinion..

"I know where. I'm drawing my boundary in my line of what i'm willing to engage. Connect with them on but Which is not being around them and not. it's too toxic. You know. But i do feel for them. It's it's almost like there. There's an addiction. That's line within what they're dealing with. Yeah there's some projection that's going on with kind of like all their accusations and vitriolic. They spit have you heard all this stuff that they're saying about everybody on their cat. Fahd gas and i've been talking about everybody who they going after the hardest. I assume you right ashley. Me caroline caitlyn. I guess they were talking a-. She texts me a little bit of guy forget the show that The bradford islambad they're talking crap about how fake justin is and how they probably rented a paramount's you know location for him to film His childhood home which is the most real not antic thing. I think i've ever been a part of on any any show from each of the hills. That was like the real deal that those people really knew as mom really knew as his siblings and i mean it is throwing shade where it's just like you not only is. You're making such false accusations. It's like what is your point behind. What are you trying to prue by saying those types of things. It's like they live in such a false false reality that they don't even know what is true. Involves me yeah. They live in their own like echo chamber at this point the whole like blocking of people on social media is kinda stupid silly but also kind of where we are in the world. I assume you have been blocked. Oh did of course. Has everyone been blocked. I'm sure at some point. I think that they you know i. I'm sure there's a good chunk of are block now. But i'd have to ask everybody where they stand but it's not the real top priority list because i think actually they blocked me and i've never even met the. I just did a show with the sister one point. I remember thinking like this is. This is the oddest behavior. But well it's funny. You say that because we're all this like we're everything turned with them again as we were cordial with them going into the second season. But ashley did stephanie's hair and she posted about it and everything suber weird after that like so. I mean i don't know how deep that issue is. Obviously it's buried deep but it seems like that's where the tables terms when ashley did stephanie's hair so i'm sorry that that happened to you. I'm sorry happened on television for the world to see. But i'm just proud of the way that you handled it. I don't think a lot of people would have been able to keep as cool under pressure as you were able to do now. I i appreciate that man but again. I think that this goes anybody. That's out there that you know is struggling or that has recovery that you can you know find a life of happiness and you can be content comparable on your on scan and i think. That's you know. The where i was at when that happened was a true testament to having a program that was in place. I'm grateful because that's not however responded. When i'm under the if i was under the influence eventaully different let alone if i didn't orca program. It was rewarding. You know it was. It wasn't even hard to watch. it was more of. I was able to look at it as like. I'm proud of where i'm at. You know i was able to kind of take a negative situation rugged the positive the one thing that like kind of kind of frustrates me about this reality show in particular. Is that at least from the world. Which i come from. Generally there's a hero edit and there's a villain edit and i feel like in this episode. It's supposed to be the pratt's getting the villain at it. But then the next scene is them like cleansing. Their shock ras with some like which doctor who's banging drums and stuff. There is a little bit of meals like. Don't let them off like that. That's not right if anyone should be doing that. It should be jason ashley getting a couples massage. Something needs to be filming that that was something that just kinda buck bri out. You know we saw that it. We had no idea what this is going to pan out after you know shot into this show that after it was it was just like come on. You know what i mean. It was it was it was annoying. It sucks because i think the night could have been so much fun. murder mystery. Dinner parties are really really fun and funny. And you get to see people's just weird side. And i love brennan so much like he is kind of becoming my new favorite character on this show. There's a party that was like brands like this. Is my audition full theater. And he came in. Like mr peanut but like doing like this weird swedish accent and i was losing my mind and i was like. I know that this is a serious night and we have to focus on like jason. Spencer's fight. But like i just wanna hear brandon do more of his accent in like interview. Get the back story. Just tell me it was just funny as it seemed oh my. Tv grows better. It was that was the problem. Is that whole night was actually really fun. I mean it was. We shocked for a while before we went into that. Dinner scene and britain brandon. I mean everybody just in. Every single person was in character. It was fun to watch ambush. They would have highlighted that war but every brandon was priceless. He actually stayed through character into the next day. I mean this because he was so you know so so so pumped on this. This olympic skier role and we we still joke about. Tell tell this day. I'm with you on that. He is the person. I've gotten closest you through this whole series in you know somebody. I stay in touch with actually golfing on monday. He is a good dude. I wish they showed more of that side of him. One hundred percent. It seems like it's too bad. It happened when it happened because it looked like a really funny thing. Why did you decide to do the painting exposition and not go skiing honestly. I was so mentally kind of burnt out after that ashington. I get the best night's sleep when it was something that will just wanted to stay close to the hotel and be more relaxed and data art too. Good for therapy man. It's a good way to calm nerves. It's something that i've done in the past out Arts joe i was just kind of over this being around the root for that moment you was again nothing towards anybody who was more.

"Come on the hills cast slash wells. Cast jason. Waller how are you my man doing good man. How're you appreciate you having me back. Yeah i mean. I was out of town i was. I was working over mexico film. Vip so amy. And i believe danielle filled in for me last week. And they had your beautiful bride on the show. And i was listening back and you girl didn't hold the punches last week and i kinda loved it will now man enough gets enough and we fought very hard for where we're at when you talk about very sensitive stuff that we've lived through and and You hear those types of things you know you're going to get the the real raw side. It's you know there was some. There was some very hurtful moments that is that transpired. We had you on the show earlier in the season. And you kinda teed it up for us or teased it a little bit and then seeing it. I think i was even a little more disgusted by it. If i'm being completely honest with you. I mean we've talked about you. Know your recovery on this show and i've always applauded you. For how honest. You are and out transparent. You are amidst a world of people who i think are less than that. I think i told you maybe last season that it's something that hits home for me because i lost two cousins to substance abuse issues and it's so not something to joke around about or make light of or even use against people in arguments and when spencer said what he said at that dinner party. I was like you've really crossed the line here. Regardless of who's right or who's wrong. That was very very out of bounds and it was funny to see the group collectively go. Whoa not cool. it was neck level. It was next level. And i think the biggest part of that is for those. That don't remember is we. Were trying to develop a relationship last season right. We are trying to be open and friendly with the rats. And i opened up to him about some very vulnerable stuff and he ended up utilizing using that as ammo down the road. It's just totally unacceptable. uncalled for and it just goes to show that how you know uneducated and naive they are when it comes to substance abuse and mental health and what people really go through on on a daily struggle like you said seeing the cast response to. It was basically what you all you needed to see. How distasteful and disrespectful. It was just seems like that. No one really wants to be friends with them like they're just kind of there because they're a part of the show. Everyone's kind of done with their shit. Yeah but also you can see through this episodes. People don't also don't wanna to deal with the rat them because it become you become an obsessive target whereas for us is like we're going to stick up for what's right we're not. We could care less and getting into it with them. But ross we're gonna stand our ground or Alright their crap dude. It's childish to get engaged with that. Unfortunately it was a big part of our life. I mean we were around them for you know the last thirteen months and it's not just as easy as being able to separate from that especially when you constantly hear it. I think the really sad part is it was actually a lot worse than what they even showed really there was. There was more that you did not see me. And ashley got elected each other last night watching reich. While they didn't even there was a lot more stuff the comment that they made the big. The big thing that spencer said was around the relapse and different stuff like that but There were still comments in conversations. That i'm surprised they didn't show even show. You know how distasteful it really got so it was worse than what we saw. It was worse. Yes and much longer. It was a probably. I wanna say maybe seven to ten minute conversation that ended up taking place to the point of where heidi and spencer were booed out. Basically really now man. It was to the point. Where i've done these shows for since two thousand five right and i've never had producers come up to us after and be like you'd like literally like in tears like you guys. Okay yeah it was a gnarly gnarly moment. I'm not looking for sympathy. Look the the last thing in the world that's going to get under my skin and drive me to a a bad place is going to be spencer height. It's not going to be the case but it was you know. It was just very distasteful despair. Disrespectful i applaud you for keeping your cool. I relate so much to your wife because it seemed like she was dislike and like lost in mind like gloves off like what to say right. You are super cool. Like i was amazed at like how chill you were but you did say something. Funny where you're like. You're the same can weirdo that you were fifteen years ago which i think that i just wonder if there was some response to that that we didn't see 'cause i just i kind of rolled out when you said that it was priceless. You came back with like trying to throw some more low. Blows at ashley and i. It just got to the point right as looked at him. And i said spencer kick rocks from like. You're not even worth our time you know and that's really where it was at as it was very frustrating. It was very hard to try to stay in that state of mind. But i constantly keep saying to myself like he's not worth that he's not worth it. Stay calm stay. Cool stay Replaying that in my head because he's not out it's not an i know what the i think. That's what it comes down to is. I know the truth I know where i'm at in my life and my journey and or my family's at were very happy very content. You know not to sound contradicting the the real triggering factor of this when you become open and vulnerable somebody in the use. Use it against you. It's it's just. That's where i guess. Shame on me right for expecting them to do other than than what they did. Yeah you should never weaponize someone's vulnerability that's just not a cool thing. I have a theory. Okay and i'm just going to throw it out there you can. You can engage your. You can let it pass. Justin bobby and brody are talking about the blow up like on the ski mountain when they're like tubing or whatever you know brody keeps on being like well you know like spencer's my boy and you know I don't wanna get in the middle of it. And i'm sitting there. Thinking spencer's got some dirt on brody and he just doesn't want to get in the crosshairs and had that happened to him on tv. The rest of the cast. I really liked you. Know what i mean. So i'm not going to say you know i. I really enjoy their company. They're good people. I don't know what it is. I think that the majority of the cast is not wanna get in the middle of the wrath. Whatever that may be. Because i mean you hear people say that often is that they don't want to be in the middle of it because the pratt's are very very resilient when it comes to want to get across a message whether it be true or not. I wonder if they're going to be victims of their own circumstances like they are going to have a hand in building their own demise. It's very obvious that they very desperately wanna stay in the spotlight. Their shows called like make spidey famous again. Or whatever you know. It's very very obvious like what they're trying to do. And i and. I applaud them for that like. They're very laser focused on it. They've been for a very long time positive affirmation for bad behavior in their mind how to continue to be on this show and continue to be relevant on the hills is to constantly kind of like stir up drama. I wonder if eventually people are going to be like dude. You can't be on this thing if you're not friends with any of us anymore. Like a doesn't make any sense. Yeah no but. I think it's also got a point though where it's it's very apparent to me like really looking and sitting back and see in this like it's sad man. I mean they're they're sick. Sick lost individuals. I mean that's the way i see it. I mean. I really feel bad for them. Does based on what you're saying in what they're going to try to gain that attention like are obviously like my heart goes out to them because i feel like they're very lost. It's taken me a long time to get to that place To to really sympathize with that would after looking at it. It's like i. I hope them. Well you know. I mean i know where i'm going to..

'The Tomorrow War' Asks Chris Pratt to Save the World

"Reviews and talk about the Tomorrow war on Amazon Prime right now. Humans come from the future to recruit fighters in a war 30 years from now, or face extinction. We are fighting a war 30 years in the future. It's a joke. How our enemy is not human. We need you to fight you got drafted and we'll be back. 11 months time all human beings in the future will be wiped from the face of the Earth was trying to save my daughter. Thank God and saved the world to save her. Then I'm gonna do it. This was one of those big budget blockbusters that was supposed to come to theaters and then got pivoted during the pandemic sold the Amazon. It stars Chris Pratt as this ex military guy who now teaches high school science. And he's kind of caught up into this recruitment or rather this draft from the future, and I'm very conflicted with this movie on one hand, once you get past the explanation and set up and you get to the action sequences The boots on the ground fighting the aliens. That stuff's not bad. I mean, it's a little bit derivative of movies like Starship Troopers and Edge of tomorrow very much so edge of tomorrow. But I mean, it works for what it is, and also reminds me a bit of like battle. Los Angeles If you remember that movie from what about 10 years ago? Where it was This very monochromatic. Attack in the city where the rebels all gray, and the creatures are all gray. The bad guys are all gray at everybody's wearing shades are great. He wears like Starship Troopers was a little more vibrantly colored and edge of tomorrow also had A better color palette, and that's I'm going into the weeds with my discussion of what makes a movie worth watching, but It's sort of a bland look to the movie my father a couple years ago, when I would was taking care of them. We watched a couple of these movies, We watch some of stranger things, and we watched A quiet place, and he was like, Well, all these aliens all look the same. Now the demag organs look like the aliens from a quiet place, and they look like the creatures in this movie, which looked like the creatures from other films. So there is a certain uniqueness of design. That is not there. These do look familiar. There's a certain familiarity to the design of the creatures, even though They are ultimately different. But when you get to the big budget scenes, the money shots, the action sequences, the explosions and the military fighting. That sounds pretty cool. I mean, it works for what it is for the spectacle. It's okay. It's not great, and it's not groundbreaking, but it certainly serves as an action movie. The

"Com. Let's talk about pizza girl about so your sauce right. You're amazing three sauces right. You have yeah. I had marinara vodka an rv out right now. Okay amazing and i love the vodka. The vodka is my favorite. So you're selling right in galveston's is that correct. I and we just started belco supermarket. Say yes here. We go were on the shelves. We will be on the shelves. All the bristol farms in august and i just got sixty five whole foods in the california area. So we'll be there in september. Congratulations so how was all of this. During the pandemic was it was it like a struggle just to keep everything going or it was. It was the biggest struggle Of my life career wise. It was like i had no funding had no backing Obviously lost everything in the divorce. Ended up What do you mean as everything you know you have to kind of. it's either. He's what i realized in a divorce. If i can give any advice to anybody getting a divorce out there It's definitely like the mediation route trying to be friends as best as you can. Because you moyer's don't care about your bank account lawyers don't want you to have a resolution these lawyers just want you to keep fighting because their bill keeps going up and there was a moment when bobby knight looked at each other and like me were he was like we were taken out loans to do this fight. We didn't even yet. It was so bad to like fight over. What like a pizza restaurant and the girl that had just started unity. I mean so. It became like we knew right off. The bat custody wasn't an issue. He's an amazing father. I'm a great mother. We both know that fifty fifty off the bat but when it came to little things it was like the lawyers get in your head right and they just try to go. He's this and this and that it's such a game of a mass to california right like there's certain like you had no idea but oh my god it's so bad they don't help you at all like the legal system is garbage out. Years jumped him. it's so bad so they just let you go on and on and on and rack up these bills and i was going into debt. He was going into debt and it was really scary and finally we just like i just picked up the phone and i was like what is it gonna take. Let's stop leading And i even the restaurant with you know so you own de amores. my gosh. that's my never pizza now. And i've moved on and it's actually really. It's it's gonna be kind of Discuss on the hills. You know you'll see some of that. How i had the separate from my family business and yeah kind of saying goodbye. Move on for different reasons. My dad and like nothing to work with him and his wife was really stressful as well. So there was and bobby still work together in a way. Yeah whoa okay. You know what looks at the end of the day. He's isabella's father and he'll always be a part of the family. And i'm happy that they have a nice like you know Nest egg. I want her have a bond and business is going to continue to support them on his avella when she gets older. Exactly in isabela. And i knew that i had in me to start over. I knew that i was actually kind of excited to like have a korean slate and start completely over. So i have that drive in me. And i don't know be hard to work with family to dance studios with my mother and i'm telling you that really killed us. It's really really hard. It's obsolete it's nearly impossible. But i do know a lot of really. Big businesses grew out of the frustration of working with family members. And being like you. I'm moving on. And that's what i just did. And now i do feel like a lot of people who were not believing in me in the day. And let's i do know that because of my party girl past. It was an uphill battle in getting people to believe that i was capable of being the ceo of of a big business in making it work. So i had a lot to prove. And i had to change my life and shake off that reputation. I still have my god. Oh my god. It's so hard actually chosen. You'd like every morning you'd wake up to. Yeah oh yeah. Every single day god so bad and you know. There's definitely going to have to explain to isabela like some photos that you'll see one day you know i'm just kidding. I'm sure you do. Actually i'm sure you have been like like printed out in like a weird old bar right in my like weird album like caroline stocker. That's so great. So where did you get like these recipes. I heard it was like your grandma's old recipes. I right don't my grandmother. She was such a good cook and she called the sauce gravy and cheese on everything. So that's kind of my mentality. i'm telling people it's not just pasta sauce right eating all these different dishes in a. I'm making soups with. I'm making you know Thereto breakfast with eggs on top so good so i'm just really kind of Trying to spread the word and kind of be a disruptor in the space it's very scale and old and male driven. Everyone wants a home cooked meal. You should come out with cookbook. And i'm like how to use your sauces. Your pizza girl sauces with like what you know. What colombo's not just astor absolutely. I was thinking of a book. That kind.

Candidates Find It's Not Easy Getting New Yorkers To Sign Their Ballot Petitions During A Pandemic

"Anywhere in the city in the past week or so, you've probably noticed clipboard toting volunteers asking you to sign your name. That's because it's petition season. Each person running for office in New York City needs to collect hundreds of signatures to make it on the ballot. And there are more than 500 people running. W one my CI's Glen Hogan reports. I could you help get a candidate on the ballot for Manhattan Borough President Volunteer Rachel Pratt is collecting signatures in Madison Square Park. Do you think it helps get a candidate on the ballot for Manhattan Borough President Tire? You have registered Democrat in Manhattan? Okay, she's trying to get Kim Watkins on the ballot for Manhattan borough president. And it's tough going in about a half an hour. She's only gotten one person to sign. Well, I think I have to finesse my ass because I've got a up my game that passes another person, also collecting signatures and gets her second of the morning. That girl said. All right, I know what it's like. And you can use your own town values a sympathy signature. Not just anyone. Consign. You got to be a registered voter in the same party as the candidate running. And your address has to be in the district where the races but don't sign for two candidates in the same race. One of those signatures will probably get thrown out cold that has made this election season particularly challenging. I know it's a pandemic, and people have reservations about getting too close and having conversations more than 100 candidates tried to suspend petitioning The judge ruled against them. Last month, state lawmakers did lower the number of signatures required, but they also shortened the time people have to collect those signatures. Lincoln wrestler who's running for City Council, says he tested positive for Cove it right after collecting signatures, and Loree Sutton cited covert concerns about petitioning as one of the reasons she suspended her campaign for mayor. It's like ridiculous that I think may expect people to stop and sign things because, like I probably stop for myself honestly, if I was walking the streets, this is David Estrada also stocking Madison Square Park for some things. I miss. You mentioned Democrat Manhattan. Any chance he's collecting signatures for tally for Haiti, and Weinstein, a candidate for Manhattan. D Yet my gun for hire Yeah. So I just whoever pays me the highest collect signatures for basically honestly and it's all analog. No online petitions here just the serendipity of safely crossing paths with the right person with a clipboard. Thank you so much. Thanks for signing When Hogan W N Y c news form or on the elections

Here's The Deal With The United Center Vaccination Site In Chicago

"Let's start with governor pritzker. This is what he had to say today about. The vaccine roll out in illinois has neighboring michigan announces. That it will open. Vaccinations everybody starting. In april as we have promised here in illinois and as we have been promised by the federal government that we would reach one hundred thousand doses per day by the middle of march. We've arrived mike flannery. The president says everybody's going to be eligible by may first governor pritzker says we're game here in illinois. Do you believe it i do. I think they the after a rough start. I talk peres. Says a guy who went around to the walmart and cvs is and the to supercenter over one hundred eighth woodland asking. Have you got any leftover back. Seen vaccines for the poor. Things have really gotten a lot better. I've got both my doses of the pfizer vaccine. I think this thing is finally on track. And i see mike flannery down there in beverly get your green tie in the irish flag. You're getting ready for a certain holiday in a few weeks. Megan hickey there's been a lot of confusion at the united center about who exactly has been eligible. The city has changed. Its eligibility standards because so many folks from outside of chicago or signing up as of now who is eligible to get the vaccine at the united center right now. They're still in the one. A one b Young people within the city limits and really the rules changed in the middle of the game because obviously when people started signing up it was a much broader eligibility than that and that was honestly source of a lot of confusion over the weekend and even into monday and tuesday because you know the the eligibility requirements changed in a lot of the people who maybe were outside of chicago who had signed up. Were confused they do. What does my appointment still count. If i go there you know my still going to be able to get my second dose. Are they going to say good luck. Find it somewhere else so there were just a lot. We were getting a lot of confusion about that and you know that on top of some scheduling issues. People getting error messages when they were trying to sign up. You know saying oh no actually. Your appointments been rescheduled and then another email saying disregard that that email was was not It's not accurate so meghan or those. Yeah i'm still ongoing. Or if they have the iron those out we're hearing less you know less confusion about it. I'm i'm not certain that it's been entirely ironed out. I know we asked how many people got error messages. How many people were involved in that which we never actually got a hard number on that but just being out there. I was at the united center. Monday on tuesday monday. Even before you know nations had started a lot of people were complaining about that. But i will say once. They made their way through the vaccination processing came out on the other end. They were so grateful and hopeful and almost had forgotten that they were so Set before they had gone into. Get their shot in greg pratt part of this roll out. The city says now they will be reaching out to the hardest hit zip codes to urge people to come to the united center to get their vaccination. Is that helping at all. drive up the equity numbers. Yeah i think so. I think the making it eligible for neighborhoods like south shore little villages. Ellison is is clearly going to drive that up there are people from those neighborhoods who are signing up for it I think that that's been very helpful. That was major problem in the beginning. It's less of a problem but it's probably one of those things that without more. Without ongoing targeting an ongoing efforts aimed at reaching those communities can very easily all off. Which would be bad. So it's so it's so they're they're working consciously work on an and that's probably a good thing

"I mean, he has his own job. He's confident he has credit card. He talks about his family. He's indefatigably talks about his friend's house. Friends, you know, very career driven super honest about the shows that it was on and his past. Just normal. You know, like tin care about social media wasn't like, you know, wearing make up. Definitely definitely got the straight vibes breaks. I don't really get those that often LA. And he just had it all going on for him. Good t-. Pretty is great outfit. So you found your did he become more. I mean, you're quote Tiber maybe about a way to say did you start to feel attracted to him as you came to know these qualities about him. Definitely when we're at the pubs because I saw a playful side, but he was touching and grabbing lot. Yeah. Yeah. And you didn't like that. Or did you like that? Well, I'm really insecure my body. So and this just happened in Hawaii wall with this other guy like when they start getting touchy I like kind of like wiggle and squirm. So I was very wear of the wiggling in squirming, but we made friends like this group, and yes, the green lipstick came out and. Yeah. I don't know. I've got to see him again like sober. What we're taking so many shots as well. What do you ever dated someone like him before? No. They're kind of. Someone put together in perfect now. This is what I was saying when we had the doc on last time was that what you think you're type is may not really be your because. That type has always been a failure like has never worked out. Right. And maybe what you need to do is shift that ideology of what your type is to something. That would be successful. Like, I say when all those attributes in a man. Yeah. But the type is much more of like. Yeah. I guess you're right. I don't know what you guys. It's important to know, then sort of a healthy thing to note that it appears that he has a lot of qualities that are healthy and potentially good for you. And you're still open 'cause I think we sort of had a hypothesis that maybe you wouldn't be open. If that kinda guy came along, do, you know, that's a part of you might be afraid actually be intimate and vulnerable with someone who's really available. Well, I long as I know they have their own career and their own independent money. I will be. Yeah. Yeah. That's what they surfer bums. Speaking of intimacy. You guys did make out a couple of times he wanted to try my green lipstick. Yeah. Did you want him to try the green lipstick biles? But yes, we made. How was it? Like if felt. Normal not normal. Just like. Like, duh, obviously, we're gonna make our having great time together. Was it a good kiss is what I'm asking. Yes. Okay. Good enough. I second. Oh, yeah. Because there were two there might have been more Oh, honest. see we had so many shots and his face was like green lipstick. And he wasn't wearing green. So. Yeah. Yeah. By me. What do you think about doc? What do you think about like making out in having intimacy like on a first day of blind date like that? I mean in this scenario describing it sounds like it was all part of the spirit of the day..

"That's what I wanted to. Everyone was like did you do fine. My phone is like, no, no, my mom. Mom's always trying to find my phone like glitz buddy up on this. And I was like no you can't stop me. I always thought it was that. No, no. No. It's so you can find it anyways to okay. So hold on put your phone down, and you need to pay attention. Right. Remind me to do that. I will promise craw. Trust me. I promise this is important to my livelihood as well. Steph. You we set you up on a date with my good. Buddy. Derek he flew out from New York. You guys what I assume had a wonderful time. I wanna hear your side of the story. But we have Dr gold Scher on the phone right now. She was here. A couple episodes ago trying to break down breakthrough and understand what your deal is with your with your single life. So we're all three going to sit and talk about your date together. Okay. Okay. Doc dead. I'm the doctor here the last podcast of Derek's take on the date. Did you hear it? I heard pre hike is going to be here. Again. It's not alter I heard briefly, I heard a summary. No k okay, great. Well, let's just start by hearing your side of the date you show up an hour and a half late. I mean, why are we doing that? Because it's a part of this. It's a part of what happened listeners know. So let's start there. So you get their walk in walk in take it from there. And I see a guy sitting by himself for me, go to the booth sit in and I'm so curious what Dr gold chair has to say about this evidently, and like, I did I didn't even realize it. I thought as far away as possible from him. What what do you make of that? What were your feelings kind of going in? Were you nervous? Were you excited? Oh, I unlike Derek this is not my first blind date. I love dating dating shows. My parents went on blind date. I'm all about the blind dates. So wasn't like, you know, he smelled arrives nervous, or you know, was nothing like that. That's just where I felt comfortable being not far away. And I was trying to figure out why I think maybe it's because I'm used to working and some always like an interview. See in a way. I don't know. What do you think? I mean, I mean, certainly feels like a way to I mean unconsciously ward off connection and intimacy it it doesn't sound like that's always how you move through the world. But maybe there's a part of you that is just slightly defensive in those moments that at first at least or eating it's like, I love my space. Do you think it's that you just love your space? I didn't realize I did it until I heard the podcast, and he mentioned it. And I was like, oh that was the thing. We'll like, you know. They say that like body language tells a lot like if you have your arms crossed like like how you're actually sitting right now it's like a defense mechanism from like way back in the NFL days. Aiding therapists on the line. I my arm. But like, it was a thing that you would you you're you're covering year in the, you know, your vital organs you or you're protecting yourself. And that that's something like shows up now as if these evolved humans, and I wonder if that's kind of the same thing like sitting far away you're protecting yourself because there's distance. I don't know. That I I agree with that. I agree with all of them. Yeah. I mean, and particularly since you aren't aware of it. Then we we can guess it really is of conscious you, you know. And so even if your mindset going in isn't feeling nervous or cut off or not interested or not open. There's like some part of you. And it's good to notice that there's some part of you. That is feeling a bit close off in God. Derek news notice. What were your first impressions of Derek? Because when we showed you a picture on the show, you you were like, not he's on my type, he's not my type RIA..

"And well that. She I wanna meet her who an answer. It's tori. Oh, it's that girl that was sitting right there. Isn't it, isn't it Dory? It's really good. Yeah. We shouldn't. She was just here. We should make her do it. All right. Welcome everyone in shoe. The Pratt cast on wells Adams, I'm alongside Steph Pratt who is here, and I just wanna say alive and well. Yeah. I'm here is what does go over it. Because last episode. I heard last episode Joe a lot of staff bashing. That's because you left her phone at the Beverly Hills hotel, right? Okay. Let me just quick rundown. Given the road was on the hotel the country club. That's better worse. So first of all I was on my first holiday that. I've had in years I like solar trip to Hawaii used to live there. So got friends there. Brenton house like amazing. I could have stayed fit up to ten people four beds for one person. I'm not even top ten friends will Neal and got invited. Okay. This is a solo weird trip. A real the -cation and hot one. So I could have come back later in the week. But I came home early Florida state already. That's like saying something it is. Okay. So I took the Red Eye. I landed up probably lakes six AM. I don't even know fell asleep woke up a non I looked at my phone as I had my shower starting and it said one twenty two on. I was like that's crazy. It's someone twenty two. I wonder if like how my phone like what time zone it's on. So evidently daylight savings had kicked in. Okay. So how would I even know that who why does not have daylight savings? Okay. But your phone changes automatic. I thought it was like in another time zone. I thought it was like impro- or something. He's your phone was was messing up. Yeah. So I even called my buddy Michael in Hawaii. And I was like did the time never change. Change. And he was like Hawaii doesn't have time change. That's how I know that. I haven't googled it either. You know, Michael says it. So I'm like, oh my God. This is so bad. Hurry, shower, like the best I can with what I look like I don't have a car because when I left for the airport, I left the car at my parents house, so Uber to go see Derek you and and their little late a little late also have one more thing. The other argument that I'm gonna just defined. You guys will like it's been a week. Like, how did you not know whole week's gone by because I'm all. Which we've found out why talking to Derrick by. But I've been telling you that all along. I never look at my phone. I also wasn't speaking to anyone I had it on airplane mode the entire trip. I didn't talk to my parents like no one. So no one's going to text me. Be like, hey, the time changes in LA. Would you up to you know, it's like weird? So you show up to the day with Derek like an hour and a half late. Very apologetic. Yeah. That's fine. But hold on. I want to talk about last episode because you were supposed to be here. And we couldn't find you. Yeah. And we called your phone and the concierge at the Beverly Hills country club was like, yeah. I don't know we found this phone people were legit tweeting to us being like wait is Steph alive or not what happened Jude. I was scared. I bet there's okay, you are so helpless, if you okay? So I the moment. Okay..
