The auto pounded 103rd and Dodi, and there's some serious frustration down here. We just ran into a woman who came out of the booth and tears unable to get her car. Could you can't get your card? No, because I have to have cash or I have to have a card that's on. That's not like the owner's name. Because in my dad's name, I just drive it sometime. You can't. I'm on the insurance, too. Yes, from the South Loop. I came all the way here. I took in over which costs a fortune in the morning. I have my son with me who's on the single mother. So you can imagine how much this is gonna cost me now to get to the bank to get cash and come back here and get the card. He's gonna miss class. For what? For a sign that says Don't part because of snow. Where's the freaking snow? This'd not okay. In In a a pandemic, pandemic, and and she she went went on on to to say say that that she she doesn't doesn't know know how how long long she's she's gonna gonna even even have have a a job. job. And And so so she she had had to to take take another another over over to to a a bank and come back here and get her car. We've seen a lot of cars coming in. Not a lot coming out So far. Rita Ora sorry for birthday party that broke lockdown rules
"Now for some breaking news. Was she wary. Where was she seen she posted. Why on instagram. Who clean gone too long pause. What's rita ora up to. Who is this woman. We've never done this before we've never opened with what's read or up switching the order of the show were doing top down instead of bottom up. No we're doing bottom up top down bottom up and as we've said a few times in the past month or so rita's back to normal. You know the world isn't back to normal but reed is back to normal. Were sitting about it and yet now i'm like regret now like we jumped the thrill she was getting. We were thrilled. That she was getting The same number of headlines that she used to get however we didn't want her to get these types of headlines. Oh no this is very bad. So celebrated bad parts. Don't throw your own bad party. It's funny because when. When i saw that she was turning thirty i felt a little pang of leg odds tube-like turning thirty like this time like that's that's more rain could feel bad. Yeah for somebody who loves to party. She loves to party but she something happened here. And she's now in a lotta deep water. She's on the cover of the sun so when she turned thirty. This is what we thought on. Saturday night was at saturday night. That her she posted at thirtieth birthday video that her team made her. Were all these important people in her. Life mcwhirter happy birthday. Big jazz. host of it was just so many people i mean. It's dozens of pete. That's what we thought we were going to be talking about today. That's exactly what o our michael caine star studded video incredible. Here's who's in it. We identified a lot of these people even though it was very difficult and then and then this happened sunday night. We'll saturday night. saturday night. Rada had a birthday party that was like a fake up or they. So i think that a lot of people are doing this and this is not just celebrities. This is normal people. They're showing the world one thing on instagram than they're doing something entirely different offense to graham serena showed me beth so rita showed a thirtieth birthday party that was very small and cute in her apartment in her flat. There were balloons on the ceiling. She watched the video. You could tell there. Were a couple other voices in there. She showed this big spread of desserts and it was like look at this cake. I'm gonna eat it all by myself. Ha ha ha. So it's very like this is how i'm celebrating in these times. But she also had a thirtieth birthday party at a fancy restaurant in notting hill. Yeah and it looks like she just hossack rented the space definitely because there were people bringing in liquor and ice and so it looks like she just rented the space and had over thirty people. And it's apparently against the law to even have like more than one person outside of your household and there are more. Their lockdown laws are more We have some to here. But there's more and they're more will get you your name. They're more like actually taking this seriously but also like they should take rita ora doing this more seriously than anyone because again. She's a public figure. And this shit's going to get photographed. What i'm confused about. And i wonder what you think is like. Did somebody call the paparazzi. Like who how. What's the deal with that like. There were lots of photos or photos of the cops getting there and being like What's going on in here. You know like literally. They had photos of the whole shebang. People going in people going out. Rita going in rena going out and i just wonder like for rita we've already said like. Oh you know. She calls the paparazzi. But like you wouldn't call the paparazzi on your own like a legal birthday when you're doing something like flagrantly illegal but this dead. Maybe not someone whether it was someone at the restaurant a neighbor because it doesn't look like these people they're like they're actually sneaking and they're going back doors like it doesn't look like they wanted anywhere right there and also looks it also looks late as hell like it doesn't look. It doesn't look just like nighttime. It looks like it's late really fucking stupid like i. Not that. I want people to like you know flout these rules or whatever but it just looks. They did it. The stupidest way that i could imagine doing this type of kind of activity Are photos all over the son of like police officer showing up in peering into windows. They're blurry paparazzi time photos of her sister and that guy vast morgan showing up with arm. Loads of prospero tequila articulate brand. Poppy delevingne kara levin. A lot of people. I can't recognize among the thirty so if we have photos of those we have photos of the people people knew you know but there are twenty eight other people who weren't photograph because i guess they weren't important enough to be photographed. Her hat to have photographs. Patty love to identify those people. So according to the loss this is what it says in the guardian england's national lockdown which ends on tuesday which is like ria you could of waited it's against the law to meet more than person you do not live with acceptance specific circumstances. Police have the power to break up gatherings issue fines of up to ten thousand pounds for breaches of regulations so she just voluntarily pay according to the sun this morning. She just voluntarily paid ten thousand pounds. She was like you know what. Here's the money police. Stay away from me. I'm so sorry alone. She's on the cover of the sun with a mask on in a big firm furnish coat that says read a party. Cheater was a really good. That was a really good line in the sun that said bang out of ora. Rita ora slammed she flouts lockdown laws. With thirty thousand. I was like bang out of something. Must be a british slang and it is. It's bang out of order which means someone is like acting a mess acting fool. You're being unreasonable. Your bang out of order posted a apology already on instagram winch. Is you know she said hello. I attended a small gathering with you through the gathering rita. You through the party. It was it was a spur of the moment decision. No it wasn't. It was a party that you through a birthday party made with the misguided view that we were coming out of lockdown. This would be okay. You were but few days later. Sorry i've commentary for all this. I'm deeply sorry raking the rules and intern understand that. This put people at risk. This was a serious inexcusable. Error of judgement given the restrictions. I realize how responsibilities actions and i take full responsibility. I feel particularly embarrassed knowing firsthand. How hard people have worked to combat this terrible illness and being fully aware of the sacrifices that people and businesses have made to help. Keep us all safe. Even though. this won't make it right. I want to sincerely apologize.
Scottish leader says she could seek 2021 independence vote
"Appears headed to another independence referendum as soon as next year. First Minister Nicola Sturgeon said today that she would campaign next year in the Scottish elections to hold the vote in 2014, Scotland, voted to remain in the UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has said that he won't agree to another vote being held. Form or on all this. We're joined live on the case. CBS Ring Central News Line by Sky News reporter and a Brady. So, Andy in the fast forwarding from 2014 to today, we've had Brexit Debate. We've had covert 19 of those factors. And what's bringing this back up again? Yeah, massively. So I've been working in Scotland the last few weeks. I've been in Edinburgh. I've been in clouds Go and let me tell you People are talking about Scottish independence again. Two reasons. Exist, means that the United Kingdom on January the first will be pulling out with the European Union. Gotland in that Brexit referendum of 2016, Scotland voted overwhelmingly 58% in favor off staying in the European Union. So Scotland is being removed from the European Union and all the benefits. Freedom of movement travel around Europe, No passports, no visas. You know none of the hassle and Scotland's being dragged out of Europe against its will. And then feed in the corona virus situation. Where Nicholas Star gin, her leadership she has every lunchtime. Since the pandemic started here at the end of March. Really, she has hold hosted the daily TV and radio updates without fail every single day. Boris Johnson missed meeting after meeting news conference after news conference sent deputies sent assistance. People in Scotland have seen strong leadership. They see it in Nicholas Sergeant, and that is fed into this. Is we mentioned? UK Prime Minister Horace Johnson says he doesn't want another vote to be held. Does he have the power to block that from happening? Yes, he has. So that's the problem for Nicholas Sergeant and everyone that wants Scottish independence. Gotland being part of the United Kingdom. It does have the Scottish Parliament. Those of the elections that are coming up in April. Now Nicholas Sergeant Hart Party, the SNP Scottish Nationalist Party. They would be the odds on favorite to be the overwhelming Party of power again in Scotland, and I'm sure they will be so she will be hoping from mandate from the Scottish people for her leadership and her dealing with covert but also for her manifest off discussion dependence on if she wins the elections, as she surely will in March. On April. I mean, it's it's with never going to happen that the other parties they're going to be there because our numerically historically her party is being so strong. She will then say to Boris Johnson. The people have spoken here. We want another referendum. His party, the conservative Party in Westminster. They've already said that the 2014 referendum was a once in a lifetime opportunity and people voted to remain in the union. And is this strictly an internal debate within the UK or do European allies way in one way or the other on this? So ultimately the decisions will be made and taken and decided in Britain, You know, in London, it will be the prime minister's call. As to whether or not there is the referendum on then, if there is a referendum, you'd be looking at the tail end of 21 into 22 on it will be the people of Scotland who discovered that decide their future if they won't remain the United Kingdom or they want to go on so long beer. Independent Republic of Scotland If you like. Well would be external factors. I mean, you know a lot of countries around Europe a lot regions around Italy. Take Catalonia, For example, in Spain, Barcelona being the capital there, you know they would look at Scotland. And be envious of a country that has that kind of opportunity. These regions that want to go solo and become independent republic, So it's huge. It's fascinating, and I'll tell you one thing. You do really sense when you're in Scotland. Working is Very, very distinct separate identity, You know, from people's accents, even the cash the money you use. It's still a pound sterling but Scottish banknote. And everything is different, and it's really interesting. I mean, this will be a huge 12 months. Big election. Nicholas Star Jin will be confident. I mean, she speak so clearly everyday people in Scotland lots of rules and regulations to follow, but because of her leadership and how distinct she sounds an hour, her clarity off communication the whole way through the pandemic. People know who she is and what she's done for.

A Planned Uptick in Defense Spending in the UK
"Here to talk about european defence topics because there are many that have emerged over the past few weeks from the united kingdom announcing that it's going to spend big on defense to the revival of the german eurofighter typhoon and developments on the swiss fighter competition. There's certainly a lot to talk about. So tony i wanted to turn to you first. And in addition to that we have a lot of details to share about aviation weeks military forecast and the opportunities that that presents for companies. Where but i. I'm gonna turn to tony to talk a little bit about what's been going on in the. Uk can bring up to speed on where london is on its spending commitments function. Yeah i mean we been quite interesting week. So last week We sort of learned that this very lodge integrates review. Probably what reporting this year and this was going to be sort of an all encompassing big review Biggest one since the cold which would look at the. Uk's defense posture decisions on offense equipment and so on and basically equip the uk for future wolf Future what we did get instead. Now the review is going to come in february. And i'll come back to that in a sec. What we do get instead was essentially a sixteen billion pound or twenty. Four billion pounds boost to defenses causes now sixteen if you listen to the government's consent to party's manifesto or it's twenty million pounds overall over four years so it's a significant boost and the largest ones called call. What was very interesting with that. There was only a few mentions of. How would inference airspace. The uk will get a space command. Sort of link probably onto the force. Because that's the lead on their in space Operations here in the uk and also probably some more money for the ten pace but it was quite vacant that it was very detail on this. And that's partly because of this lack of strategy that still yet to come out so we're gonna get this extra you know pubic pounds. But we have no idea how it's really going to be spent and there's a federal criticism about that cycle. Tony also. Where's the money going to come from with with brexit on the horizon what what does the. Uk's financial situation. How is it going to be able to afford to boost the budget in that way. This is the big elephant in the room. I mean we're heading. Towards at the moment no deal brexit the most ruinous brexit the one that say basically sends businesses and unemployment into the heavens than we're already in a pandemic and then the government's about to really really took the uk off the edge by not getting a deal. We we wait and see if we're gonna get one so yeah. Where is this money can to come from So the talks. All know spending increases with civil servants next year got sunny poppy onset. Because they'll see there's a huge amount of money that has been spent on the pandemic and then there's also talk of reducing international aid budget for example. But there's no clear defined on how this is going to be paid to too. Many of us are expecting a big liking defense. we folded. we'd probably end up being the only country in europe to start cutting fence oversee sex. She'd been wasn't done a very good job in persuade. Prime minister that you know we do really need to be investing. There are still black holes to fill and alleged to be. It's ten to thirteen billion black holding our equipment. Spend where that money would come from. Yeah i'm pretty going to be paying more tax and goodness knows after brexit houses work. It's i think it's going to be a very difficult first. Few months or maybe years post pandemic and post brexit before. How how this is gonna work out. What he's player that haven't gone away. Regards will happens off the breakfast or what happens to the pandemic needed to be done. How we pay for it big question. Big elephant in the room
Free returns come at a cost to the climate
"Many people shop online for everything from close to appliances if they do not like the product they simply return it. But there's an environmental cost to returns. Megan moulton is a sustainability manager at opt toro a company that helps retailers process and resell returns it estimates that each year returns in the. Us are creating probably about fifteen million metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions. That's about the same amount of carbon pollution produced by three million cars during an entire year. And that's just from pudding returns in trucks and moving them around back from the consumers and then onto their next homes which might be another customer but sometimes retailers cannot resell returns at a prophet and unsold items may end up in landfills. We estimate that at least five billion pounds of landfill waste are created every year in the us firm returns alone to reduce that waste up. Toro helps retailers find new places to resell or donate returned. Merchandise known says consumers can help by considering the environmental costs of returns before they by
Thanksgiving Dinners Are The Cheapest They've Been In Decades
"Every year before thanksgiving the american farm bureau sends volunteer shoppers into grocery stores. They note the prices of the ingredients. That go into thanksgiving dinner. Cardiff garcia and patty hirsch from npr. Podcast indicator from planet. Money discovered the cost of thanksgiving is going down. The american farm bureau is a group that represents farmers throughout the country and its annual survey. It found that the average cost of thanksgiving dinner for ten people. This year is forty six dollars and ninety cents on the farm bureau's chief economist. John newton says that figure is low really low down four percent of from what we saw last year and actually is the lowest level that we've seen since two thousand ten and that's what i'd adjusting for inflation. We asked john if he could tell us high. The cost of thanksgiving dinners changed when he does adjust for inflation and specifically. What we wanted to know was if it was possible. That thanksgiving dinner was actually the cheapest it had ever been since the survey was started back in nineteen eighty six way. Let me let me power a spreadsheet. Just a mayor sure for go for it. Yeah i check it out yes it is. It is the lowest that it's been thirty five years. Wait a minute what did you just tell me. The in inflation adjusted dollars. Thanksgiving dinner is going to be the lowest. It's been thirty five years. Are you stunned. You know i am actually. I don't know why didn't look at that particular statistic before you asked me so. John says that you basically have to understand two stories to also understand why thanksgiving dinner is so cheap this year. Because here's the first story what happened this year. The ingredient with the biggest decline in its price is the turkey turkey. Prices came in dollar twenty one per pound that was down seven percent from what we saw last year. Which means you can put a sixteen pound bird on the table. Offer less than twenty dollars this year and this could be partly because the pandemic has forced families not to gather together in the same big groups as they normally would so. There's just less demand for those big turkeys families usually by and it's also because a lot of grocery stores have discounted the price of turkey. Frankly just to get people through the door. According to the department of agriculture more than eighty percent of retailers were running promotions across the country. When we started this survey. So you'll see turkey. Prices that range anywhere from twenty nine cents a pound to two ninety nine a pound depending on what type of grocer your and then. There's the second the longer story to tell. And this is actually an easy one to explain. Because of new technologies and innovations in how to produce food over the last few decades farmers have simply become better at it more efficient which means that they can sell the food for cheaper. You got to recognize that we benefit from a higher quality very affordable food supply. You know we spend a small percentage of our disposable income on food. Food in the united states is very affordable now john and the farm bureau of course represent farmers so he's boosting his piece. They're a little bit but the general story that the agricultural sector in the us has become more and more efficient over time is definitely true.
Amazon doubled its profit during the pandemic
"Given this huge surge of demand. How profitable has two thousand and twenty pm for emerson. Well it looks like in terms of its of its revenues. It's just off the scale. Really a big big on both the top and bottom line. We've got revenue coming in amazon. Report is third quarter results. Companies revenues were ninety. Six point one. Five billion dollars is not income. Increased to six point. Three billion dollars in the third quarter. That's nang well. The stock is up almost two percent here after hours. Mike that's quite a bottom line. Beat here for amazon operating cash flow increasing fifty six percent. Everything he's going through the roof. I mean the numbers are so big that have no sense really of what they mean but i can tell they made the amazon has done very very well and so that leads me into my next question. Is this a company that pays its taxes and plays fairly in the marketplace so there are huge questions about amazon taxes. They pay the taxes all over the world. The question is how much tax they pay. So in september it was reported that its sales in the uk had surged fourteen billion pounds but it paid only two hundred ninety million pounds in uk tax. Now that as far as i understand it is because the level of profit that it declares is relatively small but it's turnover and its revenues arguably speak for themselves and that's a huge source of control busy so for example in two thousand eighteen in the usa amazon posted income more than eleven billion dollars but the company paid nothing in federal taxes. Nothing nothing and that's because they would say well they've only just started to turn a profit
Farm Bureau Survey: Thanksgiving Dinner Cost Down 4%
"Some good financial news If you're putting together a full turkey day meal for the family, CBS News correspondent least, Preston with Dede American Farm Bureau Federation, says a classic Thanksgiving meal for 10, including a £16, turkey, sweet potatoes, stuffing, rolls, cranberries, veggies and pumpkin pie. Well cause just $4 in 69 cents per person down 20 cents from 2019. A drop in the price for the holiday bird is the main reason why the price of Turkey came into a dollar 21 per pound. That was down 7% from what we saw last year. John Newman from the American Farm Bureau federation, says many grocery stores are pricing turkeys low to get shoppers in the door.
Darwin notebooks reported stolen from Cambridge library
"They're missing for over two decades. And now the folks at the Cambridge University Library say two notebooks, which once belonged to Charles Darwin were most likely stolen. Took him two decades to come up with that. One of the notebook said to be worth millions of pounds contained door wins. 18 37 sketch tree of life had been removed from the university special collection rooms where they keep rare pieces and valuables to be photographed in September of 2000. Now. Somebody else came along to photograph the books in November of 2000. And guess what? Nobody's seen those books since. For years, librarians after university had assumed that the books were just lost in the vast library. There. That library is home to more than 130 miles of shelving, they say in some 10 million books, maps and manuscript. So after an exhaustive search, though the university is concluded those books aren't there. Somebody must've swiped him. Now they're calling on everybody. Researchers, book trader staff members to janitor. Anybody who knows anything about the sightings of these books to reach out and help recover them. Calling them a part of the UK is cultural and scientific heritage.
No Taste for Zero Waste
"Hello and welcome back to the dear prudence show once again and as always. I am your host dear prudence also known as daniel m lavery with me in the studio this week. Is sarah hoagie or based in toronto. Canada sarah welcome to the show off. Thanks it's been a while it's been a few years. It's been a long time and last time weirdly. I didn't get to see your face in this time i do. Even though both times we were not in the same room. Yeah i mean it's it's really nice. I'm looking into your eyes. it's crazy. I it feels very you. I feel very close to you. I'm admiring eyebrows. Saw their powerful. I will not stop. I will praise your eyebrows for the entire. Oh my god yeah. Thank you so much. I love your shirt. Thank you for having such create eyebrows. Let's tell everyone how to live their lives and Just generally how to do better. Yeah i'm good at that. I'm good at time people what to do. You often do that to me via text. And i've always really enjoyed it so i'm just looking forward that other people get to have a chance to experience for themselves today. Would you read our first letter. Please alright subjects clean plate club dear. Prudence was raised in a zero waste environment. Where everything was composted recycled she now trying to implement policy in our own home. I try to waste as little as possible but occasionally i don't like something. She cooks or get fully. She gets extremely upset. When i was food i started secretly throwing it away. I feel like a child. When i do this and i keeping secrets. I also hate feeling pressure to eat food. I don't like or that. I'm not hungry for. I don't want to treat our future children this way. I want them to feel comfortable staying there. Done my wife. Also several pounds overweight. And i think a large part of this is due to her inability to just walk away from food. She's mentioned a desire to get more in shape but doesn't seem to draw the connection between her clean plate habits and her weight challenges at the same time. I don't want children to become food. Obsessed or worried about their weight. The seems like a fraud situation angles. What should i do agree. That seems fraught. There is a lot here. There's like maybe nine different questions. I the one thing. I wanted to start with although i realize it's not the most important issue is a while back. I was no longer going to be taking questions where people would write in and described their spouse x number of pounds overweight. Because people i have noticed. Have a real fondness forcing exactly how many pounds they think their spouses overweight. And they've always got it like ooh. I know within two pounds what the number is yet. It's really weird to see several pounds overweight because like that's very hard to notice. Yeah that's like probably pretty well within a range and human beings exists in rain. I don't know like to me. It feels like if you happen to think she should weigh three pounds less than you know what i mean. It feels very rachel mcadams and mean girls. Like i wanna lose three pounds. It's very specific. Yeah so i would just say. Don't worry about that one. Let that one go one solution to not liking what. Your wife cooks and feeling like a child is cooking yourself. I don't that's that's insane from this that this person's wife is always cooking because that was the vibe. I got the. I was like she cooks. I don't yeah. I mean it does seem like it's i mean if you don't like what someone is cooking you can easily just not eat or cook yourself or even at the very least i'll make my own food. Yeah you do that. And i'll do this kind of thing. But i i do think it is just a bit odd like how much control the someone have over you throwing away food or not you can. You can just do it right. I mean the thing was. She gets really upset when i waste food which i get. You don't want your wife to feel extremely upset. But she's also not gonna die if she gets upset so if you were to say i love you so much. I am not hungry for this anymore. Either put it in the fridge and eat it the next day leftovers. That's one common solution. There's so many solutions. Let her be upset and declined to secretly. Throw it to the dog later. That's that's not gonna work for you. I feel like maybe they. They don't understand the concept of leftovers perhaps but also another thing you can do is i. Don't know maybe ask her to make less food. I mean like it's like it's like meals have to come in one portion. That's the only portion you can ever make for. Whatever meal like. they're adaptable. But i do think there are so much more here because it's it does seem like you know maybe there is some type of eating habit thing that is a part of it which also i don't think is someone's problem to solve for someone else And i don't think having a fight about wasting food is the way to support someone who might have some sort of food issues or right and i think i wanna have patients for both of these people because it seems a little clear to me that they both have some food issues. Which i mean. Who doesn't also but i don't wanna say that is just like we all have food issues so these are just yours and you can't do anything about it so much as you know. It seems like the letter writer feels a certain degree of if someone else's upset with you about food you have to fix it
Dallas-area food banks serving 3 million pounds of food per week as holidays approach

You're going to gain some fat when you're doing that too quickly You don't wanna do a too quickly but you do want to Be in a calorie surplus essentially correct. So now we're on the flip side now where you decide all right now. It's time to lean out but still keep that muscle now. I'm assuming this one is a little bit harder to do But first of all. Can you. Just tell because i've always heard this term the finnish world like i'm cutting right now and so can you explain. What does it mean to cut. Everyone has their own. You know saying doesn't matter cutting slimming down losing fat. I use cutting as it's really the only thing ever said it's really just cutting away. If you're going approach were bodybuilders. Say oh i'm cutting phase on prep is really just trying to lose all the fat and then it will be more from what i gain during the bulking phase. Okay okay so that basically so that definition now the muscles can be seen cracked. Okay exactly so you worked months. You know to gain all this muscle. Hey you will get a little a little. Maybe a little chubb during that. That's why most people do typically around wintertime having covered all time. Trade clients sweating jacket on his sucks to see me so during the cutting phase. That's really when you're just trying to lose all the fat that way the most is gonna be a little bit more dominant gonna shallow. Been more if you're doing it correctly. A lot of people like look bigger. You gain weight not actually lost ten pounds. Thanks yeah so it's going to show a lot more. It's it's what march third or fourth or something So you know people are probably gonna start doing the cutting or slimming down. It's the cutting season we're entering. It's already would eighty degrees outside right now in california coming up to new. Oh of course. I feel like the time to start eating your show for the other. Yeah actually my body. I've learned naturally the my body does kick into a more like Exerciser athletic mode about april. Like i will be like a really intensive exercise for about three or four months and generally throughout the summer and i. It's so my goal really in life now is just a stay relatively active during the winter so that i don't go too far with the bulk young But yeah that's really interesting. So can you tell me a little bit about maybe fasting. Do you do fasting when you're trying to cut the fat or when you're in a cutting phase i'm not easily put this. I'm not the biggest Person on fasting and fast for you know to- fourteen six hours. Brother-in-law will sometimes fast for twenty four hours. Wow times a week or doing twenty four people will do it thinking that you know you as much as i want whatever i want in between that window and then i'm not going to eat it all for the sixteen to eighteen hours. Whatever kind of doing really popular right now. And i'm not gonna lie like you know it does work again kind of like the last segment. We do kind of see what works for your body for you. Yeah i'm more of a believer of eating every hours. Keep your metabolism going. Keep your body. Fueled specially during a cutting phase. It's really really tricky to learn how your body's gonna react to things and how you're gonna keep as much muscle while trying to turn down. The fat. that over fasting has more of a longterm effect. When cutting like murph's it's it's also healthier. See normally you. Don't you don't seem to mean or angry. People angry sometimes when i feel like when i've seen people they're like a man. They're grumpy so getting back. Finish balking right now just starting phase pretty new into it's still you got the big jug of water grow chicken broccoli and rice. It's not cooked chicken to save my life talking about this. Yeah this one is two point. Five ounces of white rice. We'll faster i'm digesting is going to spike. Insulin will bit more okay. It's seven ounces of chicken and then six ounces of broccoli interest you do that every bill you would say every couple of hours ladies pretty similar realistically pretty basic. Five or six ingredients go to. Yeah my daily diet Fun food say now and tonight before you go to bed. Hi my diet is First meals five thirty in the morning last meal is supposed to be a roughly ten dude. Nine even on coach. I don't want three or four hours of sleep every night. right right. yeah that's right because you're up early training people yeah
Fnatic Raises Over $1 Million in Two Days Through Crowdfunding
"The popular Youth Organization based in the UK gave fans a chance to buy a part of the org this week and fans responded quickly. The campaign was launched on November 19th. Although some registered fans were able to get in on November 18th thousand addicts minimum funding Target was 1 million pounds or about 1.3 million dollars. They reached it almost entirely with the pre-registered fans in one day after the option when public they blew past the month ago the option to invest will stay open until December 7th and will be over invested for sure the 1 million shares that were the minimum goal were four point ninety-nine percent of the company which gave the company a song. Impose valuation of one hundred million pounds or 132 million dollars. That's pretty lofty. But clearly fans are in agreement with the decision underneath this article. I'll link a full run-down of the financials behind Faith from Tobias a cat the Esports Observer. I could hit you with a ton of forecasts a numbers, but I think the wall of data would be a little lost on this medium and I encourage you to check out his write-up below. There are some important takeaways from this. However, the first e Sports organizations, especially those based in Europe. It seems are increasingly opening up crowdfunding options guilty Sports and Australis already have these types of options available. This will end up giving e sports fan a better glimpse into the financials behind e Sports organizations, which has been a subject of a lot of speculation over the last few years the other takeaway. I find interesting year is the doubt this cast on the Forbes evaluations for a few years Forbes evaluations of these Sports organizations provided the best guesstimate for what major sports organizations were worth at least they were cited all over the place including by myself. But after the author of those valuations got a job. Public spat with Jacob Wolfe on Twitter there was increased doubt about their legitimacy as she didn't seem to entirely know who wolf was or his expertise on the space, which is a slight bit concerning for somebody Valerie Sports organizations. So I went back to look at Ford's most recent valuation which happened in 2019 in that valuation forms as valued at $175 million dollars now Esports valuations have basically been on an upward trajectory for the last decade but clearly that valuation wasn't overshoot based on Fanatics own valuation in their company in this crowdfund fanatic might be under voting themselves, but that certainly doesn't seem likely that's

"Is. Pretty easy to tell. Where the bias is are. You look at this show and you look at the headlines and how many times did we hear this? When it's negative quote trump story bombshell right? All the anchors love to say bombshell details tonight about President Trump's taxes. Bombshell details tonight about President. Trump's call to the Ukrainian president. But but nothing mostly silence except for a few media outlets including Fox News the. New York Post Breitbart in a few others are covering what? Could easily be considered in that other universe a bombshell story about Joe Biden and his son hunter because according this is kind of weird Rudy Giuliani who is the personal attorney for president trump has his own attorney Robert Costello. And he went on Fox. News to talk about this report, which was obtained I by the New York Post. That, an apple macbook pro alleged to a belong to Hunter Biden was disassembled an external hard drive was turned over to the FBI in December. A computer repair shop owner in Delaware notified federal investigators about the existence whoever dropped it off in April of two thousand and nineteen never return to collect it or to pay the bill. So I guess it becomes property of the repair shop kind of after a certain amount of time. We're forty thousand emails documents. Sex. Photos sex videos. If they leak it out, you might be able to see Hunter Biden Smoking crack. An engaging in sex acts. With with the mysterious women, which shouldn't be surprising. We forty known Hunter Biden father to child with the stripper right and then denied it was his child until he willingly gave the DNA and what Oh it is me. But the the most. Damning. Information in among males, is that he he was invoking his dad in order to get more money at a Barista the natural energy National Gas Company. Then Of and paid fifty thousand dollars a month a position. He got thanks to his dad because the Ukrainians and particularly burris Ma wanted access to Obama, and the reason for that is apparently a prosecutor in Ukraine was going to investigate Burris for corruption. Under by introduced a Joe Biden into a top executive editor Ukrainy energy company less than a year before Joe Biden pressured government officials to fire a prosecutor who is investigating the company and that's not. That's not a surprise because Joe Biden bragged about that just a couple of years ago. But are we ain't getting the money unless you back down on the investigation and they did he con job I constantly lied to. Reporters orders and enter into regular citizens. Question him at town halls. Denying ever knowing anything about Hunter Biden's relationship with the Ukraine government or the or the company. You know wh when clearly hunter was was Yeah the emails seem to point to the fact that Hunter Biden arranged a meeting between his father and a Ukrainian businessman and a Barista adviser. and John's right Joe. Biden kept saying I. We never talked about hunters business world we never did. But at this meeting actually occurred. And I guess the response for the Vice President's office as there was nothing on the official schedule. Right Dak you're actually not denying. Anything that's being reported by by the New York Post because it's clearly as emails. Like there's no question. These are the real things. It's clearly the photos in the videos. So the documentation, Israel, so they're not saying Oh you know this is this is a fraud. This doesn't exist. It never happened. They're just saying it wasn't on the official schedule yeah, it was on the unofficial schedule. and. Try to look at this from the parallel universe which we do from time to time..

S. active nineteen, sixty, seven in name, and you'll say there's thirty seven page paper that he wrote a a a few years ago analyzing the history of the situation and all the problems and the things that should be done. It's it's it's worth reading it. Maybe we'll have him on some point. Yeah we got more coming up. John and Ken show John Kobylt, Ken Chiampou Kfi by. Forty five everywhere on the iheartradio APP. Strangely enough. For the next couple of segments, it's going to be a tale of two Gavin's. We're going to talk to Wendy Ludwig the mother of. Little Gavin Ludwig was attacked this summer. By a neighbor who smashed his head with a rock. We're hoping for Gavin's full recovery is much that can be and also. That this guy ends up in prison for a long long time because he the attacker seems to slip out on mentally incompetent claims and they're trying that again. This Gavin Right now is the story you referred to earlier John and. It's Gavin Newsom, the governor who signed an executive order to protect California's land and coastal waters. It is the aged. El Segundo Times columnist George Skelton, and he got the boot looking job or the knob not slobbering. He did a major KNOB slobbering job and he bought out the heavyweight heavyweights. This all centered around the fact that as a child Gavin, newsom had a pet otter. Named Potter. So I looked up otter. Just to see what family of Bamut belongs to this, it is a branch of the same family that includes weasels. So. His pet is basically a water based weasel. He did take it to bed with him. Last year and then you have a new some told a second grade class Oh that he had a pet otter a mater and it would potter it would get cozy with me hotter. The hotter potter slept curled up on little. Gavin's bit however. Is Parents argued about having an otter in the household and one day the Otter bit the mailman and my mother said to my father either your son and daughter or your damn off period full stop. So. They did have to I. Mean a Lotta Otters live in the water this guy lives on lived on his bed maybe he had waterbed. down. By the river. And I guess he adopted them River Otters. Yeah. seaworld with the auto show. It's one of the funniest things I've ever seen. It's fantastic. Train trained to do certain stunts but because they moved so quickly and they have their head popping up, it's. Probably the funniest show. I've ever seen at one of these theme parks I. Didn't expect that I said I'm going to supposed to sit there and watch otters and it was great. I mean the whales the dolphins are great. But the were a who they were the smash of the do we still have? The has the no fun..

"It appears that roughly ten percent of voters who are sixty five or older have already returned their mail in ballots so you may be onto something John. Yeah. And Democrats said a slightly higher rate so far then Republicans according to the data that they are tabulating on the return so far so And here's your favorite mark Mike Sanchez a spokesman for La County registered Dean Logan's office said, they're ready to handle an anticipated increase in mail ballots well, of course, it's going to be an increase. We all got them. So I, in fact, I'm. Voting Person By mail this. Day I put it in the lock box Seo. Always Klay they're ready. That's what they claimed in March and then disaster strikes WE'RE NOT GONNA get a result until January and we're going to get a whole bunch of excuses on Huarong. We didn't expect this it's not our fault bub-bubba. And probably what we're going to see because. Nothing ever changes. The presidential race is concerned. It's a foregone conclusion that Biden Wins California but on some of these statewide ballot propositions, this will probably go on for weeks count. Some of those propositions are really important, which is why we're going out of our. Fifty. The cutbacks one to cover each one individually, and we put the voter guide on the website that that's where. That's where your day to day life really gets impacted was stupid propositions. You could see the damage that prop forty, seven, fifty, seven did a few years ago, which is one of the reasons we have a huge numbers of the vagrants living in the street and they're all crazy and many of them are violent and a lot of marex criminals, and that's those two propositions that you were lied to about, and that's why we're trying to really explain in detail. What's going on? It's GONNA matter to you way more than who the president is. Right. When we come back, we'll take a look at the latest news on the Republican. Party of California with their phony collection boxes.

"Eight six we'll have an update in a few minutes. About those. Ballad collection boxes at the Republican Party operatives have been putting up around the state. They think that because they took the word official. BOFFA. The signs on the drop boxes that but. It's kind of a nutty thing. We'll talk about that. We had was named Heck Hegarty, Connector Boras. He was on his spokesman for the Republican Party was on our show yesterday insisting that they're gonNA keep the boxes no matter what we were the lead story on Kfi News. Many Times all day today. But we were for that interview that for that clip. Now, the heck out acting hold die tomorrow Thursday, they have to remove them. So we'll see what the state does because I think they've doubled down they said, they're gonNA put more of them out well, we'll give you that. You have voting that'll turn out the Republican votes mark. Renna Lard is reporting for ABC News here on Kfi because voting somebody wrote today that we should stop calling election day election day. It's really we have a whole election month month and that's just the final day of voting election day and. Millions of come out leading twelve million people mark. Yeah, you know I it. They're not wrong. I mean and and forget it. It's like trump invited as they're trying to get their message out to people and he's just a final home stretch ballots already cast election day is here for a many states I believe forty states in total have now have early voting going on whether through mail or in person and they're seeing record now turnout in states with the in-person polling as well as no, there's going to be an influx of male imbalanced. A Georgia. Reporting One hundred, twenty, eight, thousand people voted in person on the first day of voting more than a quarter of a million have voted in total over two days. One, hundred, twenty, eight, thousand on that first day a record and the lines. The lines have been what ten hours I heard. Eight hours in Greenwich County and five hours in Cobb county at one point, which is kind of ironic right you go to the polls early to try and avoid the long lines on election day I? Mean it's it's obvious why a lot of people want to vote but is there any indication as to why they're willing to stand in line for eight hours? They know that that's a good question why each, person might WanNa do that you know I don't know why you'd WanNa stand there for that long particularly whether that be that you just this is your baby your only opportunity to vote. Maybe you know that you're going to be working on other days won't be able to vote any earlier whether or not. It's just because you know we we we'd probably have very galvanized basis as well. Right now, you have Republican voters for president trump who certainly want to defend him and sees they feel like he's been under attack for four years. Of his administration they want four more years at it. Biden's people certainly galvanized the him out..

"But if I think what the the government said was no time soon, we're not going to be pressured. Into reopening. That obviously gives us some pause and we'd like to put our cast members back to work as many of them as soon as possible if the government would do that. To start calling our KFI workers cast members to cool. Yeah. Here's the deal Disneyland's capacity. Is Approximately seventy five thousand visitors it got to eighty five thousand. They added that Star Wars themed land there. An attendance cap of twenty, five percent would bring their capacity down to about twenty, one thousand and they still they can't even get there until they get the least restrictive color in tears. They're the the Keith Hiller Hissy said it's arbitrary and without regard for actual fact. Well. You get where do you get arbitrary rules from? From, somebody drunk with power acting like a dictator imposing closures because he can't without regard for actual fact means he's not using science or data. He's doing it exerts his whim. That's his feeling. That's his desire because nobody can check nobody can contradict him. This is what newsom is doing. and. Instead of their be a ton of new stories on this. About how new Simmons arbitrarily putting tens of thousands of people out of work at Disney for no reason costing billions of dollars, not to mention all the ancillary businesses in Anaheim region right all the restaurants and hotels and other shops that have gotten wacked. What are we get in the La Times? Today? We get a story about how Gavin newsom favorite pet as a child was an utter. And that's why he's so sensitive to the environment because he had a pet otter. Picked Debra mark that those acute stage but this but this is the year instead of he's acting like this this this mad dictator. WHO's throwing tens of thousands of people out of work for no reason, there is no evidence we told you. That Disney world in Florida has been open. They have some limited capacity but no corona virus cases zero. How can they improve Jira how difficult it's going to be to get to the yellow tear the minimal risk you know they're seven California counties that are there you what their combined population is two, hundred, thirty, eight, thousand people you can only reach that let. Billion in Orange County. If yeah, there's three million. We're not gonNA reach the yellow tear for a long long time by the way California. When it comes to cases per one million population, we are ranked thirtieth when it comes to deaths per one million population where ranked twenty seventh, where in the lower half of the country in both major categories and we were in that range between twenty five and thirty the entire time. This is a vicious nasty arbitrary shutdown that even, Disney can't fight because newsome has absolute power and there's nobody rebelling against him nobody checking him and the new stories are about his pet otter as a child. That's where we are. When we come back, they're mad to vote around the country people are lined up for early voting. We'll get an update coming up..

They closed it. was called Isham or something I yes. Yes. And what I what I don't understand is is, why aren't we? Why aren't we celebrating how much we've done to stop this thing even though none of us really wanted to do any of this nobody wants to wear a mask. They're a huge pain in the ASS nobody wants to be sending stupid little circles in the grocery store having people lecture you and wag their fingers at you all day nobody wants to spend all their weekends author nights at home. You know watching like endless televised garbage I mean people have you know people had made a tremendous sacrifice here and all we're doing is constant lecturing and being told that the they should has failed the nation has not failed and the the other day. The there always beating on trump joe. Biden would've left all the airplane travel wide open for God knows how long that would have been hundreds and hundreds of flights still coming in from China hundreds and hundreds still coming in from Europe. He runs around saying a trump did a terrible job. There is zero evidence that Biden would have done anything different. In fact, you can make a really strong case it would have been worse because he would have allowed all the plane fights. He said all the all the plane restrictions were unnecessary and racist and xenophobic map about by Baba I don't get this I don't. I. Don't know who the savior was in any political position that was going to lower the number significantly I don't see it because you see what happened the nursing homes in New York with King Cuomo their. McNeil road since January when I began covering the pandemic, I have been a consistently gloomy Cassandra reporting on the catastrophe that expert saw coming the virus would go pandemic. Americans were likely to die in large numbers Nashville lockdown last well, beyond eastern even past summer no miracle cure is on the horizon the record for developing a vaccine was four years well, events it faster than I thought possible. I'd become cautiously optimistic experts you're saying with genuine confidence that depend democ in the. United States will be over far sooner than expected possibly by the middle of next year, and again, the thing he forgot which he probably believed in January public believe in those death rates where they thought it was what five ten percent remember those numbers. Yeah. At the beginning taken from a limited number of a limited sampling of people that corona virus in China that's what they were doing back. Then that's probably why he was thinking two point, two million and believing that modeling. But it wasn't. In fact, when you add all the when you add all the people who were infected and never showed symptoms, it's probably less than one percent and you add all the people who never even got tested because they didn't show symptoms. It's even lower than that. The only thing that makes corona virus unique is apparently it's probably more contagious than your annual influenza..

But you know what's interesting lately in his political career, he's been under fire because of Corona virus restrictions. You can imagine Alaskans like their freedoms. Well, yes. Yeah. No they weren't putting up with the mask orders. They have a masked mandate in. Anchorage. Wealth. So I, guess it's time to play her voice again if it's too either missed it yesterday, I wanted to play it again but we didn't have time. A this story reached the top of the charts because this woman got so angry after her fight with. Co. worker the news director and the charges and the case and her threats to expose the and Mr. Berkowitz's a child sexpert. If you've ever been involved with a crazy person, here's a trigger warning. Okay. They May. This may send you into into some kind of seizure I. so this is the voice mail that the this Athens woman left for the mayor. Finished, Maria Athens or possibly he? National Alaska I wars from my job at. Emmy Award winning journalism you're all pedophile. Little girls and children, and there's a website I'm supposing you I'm going to get an emmy. So you either turn yourself in kill yourself or do what you need to do. I will personally kill you and Mark Hamill Mike himself you Jewish piece of living things. You have met your maximum. You had met your mother match. I can't believe I. Am such a good person and so I I loved you I. Hate I don't hate you. I will pray for your Zionist. Get the house you. Loser and. Putting this on the news tonight by Cutler Great Friday you mother. Not. A text message relationship got awry. Former First Lady of Anchorage. So she mentioned that I'll kill you both. By the way, that's a criminal threat she ought to be charged with I think she's got a lot of charges that's piled up punching the police officer wasn't helpful for her case. So I mean she's she's forty one years old to. An Anchorage. In, Anchorage, she's obviously I mean that sounds like bipolar disorder or something there. Joe and some of them when you were VP jets right Joe wrote wrote a law that gave trump seventy, two, million dollar refund. We got more coming up. China can't show John Kobylt and Ken Chiampou Kfi am six forty. Five everywhere on the iheartradio APP over GonNa have yes and no. One of the ballot propositions we got both sides coming up after three o'clock. It's proposition twenty one and if you think you've heard this before you did it got voted down soundly. In twenty eighteen deals with rent control. Had more specifically allowing local governments to enact their own rent control legislation. We'll be talking about this after the news at three o'clock prior to one, thousand, nine, hundred, five cities and counties could enact their own rent control laws but then they pass something called the Costa Hawkins Rental Housing Act, which curbed that power and that's why this crowd is back for the second time in just a couple years trying to get a statewide rent-controlled measured pass local governments can put a cap on rent increase. So we'll start with the Yes side right after the news. At. Three o'clock probably one of the most entertaining and wild things we talked about yesterday was the story of Anchorage Alaska involving the mayor. Ethan. Berkowitz and day local television news anchor who apparently had engaged in a messaging relationship. sexting I. Think it was more involved than that though. Probably because as far as the mayor would admit though, I'll be message being inappropriate messaging relations because in the audio of her screaming at him that we played yesterday she says something about well I loved you and I don't think you fall in love through text messages. I, think. So usually if you're doing that you're doing stuff in person. Yeah. The update is did resign he quit I think happened during our show yesterday afternoon. The reason, the story got even wilder is that this news anchor got into a fight with the news director at television station physical the cops came, and then she went on a rant accusing the mayor of liking. Underage girls put that online. He put that out. She put online. She got an exclusive story mayor of Anchorage here's Here's a naked photo of him he was trolling for. Underage Girls Online. Local authorities have investigated that claim into the best of their knowledge right now, they have found no evidence of criminal conduct on the part of former Mayor Berkowitz. But. Comas and any other incidents avenue to a drugs mental illness, and they will not send cops with guns. Now, they may send officers without guns, but they're not going to have weaponry at least in the initial call. The call says there's a weapon right right now the call says there's a weapon or someone's threatening a gun. Then on aren't response appropriate have there been a lot of police shootings at came at a dog's barking excessively. Or even excessive force put down to.
