The past administration signed the deal. Not one soldier was shot at. Okay. I think of that. You know why? Because they knew the consequences, and our conditions were tough. Now Joe Biden characterizes his administration is inheriting a flawed Afghanistan policy. They understood what I said, and there was no way they were going to do anything to us. The New Texas law bans abortions once a fetal heartbeat is detected, which can happen as early as six weeks into a pregnancy. The law doesn't include exceptions for rape or incest and is being challenged in court. But Texas Governor Greg Abbott defended it. When asked why force a rape victim to carry her baby to term. It doesn't require that at all, because obviously it provides at least six weeks for a person to be able to Get an abortion. The long bans abortion six weeks into a pregnancy, though not six weeks after a woman learns she's pregnant pregnancy dates back to a woman's last period. So if she missed her next 14 weeks later, that would only leave two weeks to decide a plan and get an abortion. When speaking about protecting victims of rape. The governor made clear goal number one in the state of Texas is to eliminate rape, so that no woman no person Will be a victim of rape with Republican state leaders behind him. Abbott announced his plan. We eliminate all rapists from the streets of Texas by aggressively going out and Arresting them and prosecuting them and getting them off the streets. Critics, though point to recent surveys by the U. S. Department of Justice that found about one in three victims reported they were raped or sexually assaulted and that most rapes go unreported to police. The governor said he'll boost resources for rape victims. But the federal government with a message for Texas women, this law is a violation of your rights and we are going to do everything we can to provide assistance as quickly as we can. White House press secretary Jen Psaki said. The Department of Health and Human Services is a key component. They are going to look for ways to to make sure we are providing access. By the way were the police. You know, That's the thing. You have These also enlightened people on the left, and they hate the police so much that the police can't possibly do any good, right? I mean, isn't that what they feel? The police can't possibly do any good. They're only going to make things worse is what the left has to say. Here's the problem with that. There is a story after story after story after story in cities all across America, where the defunding police movement has been an abysmal disaster. And now the leftists out there that progressives they are beginning to realize again the air of their ways. Here's what they say. A spokesman for the police bureau said officers were monitoring the fight. From an airplane. You heard that right from an airplane. In the days leading up to the opposing protest, the latest in a saga of political conflict that has plagued the city for years. Officials said People should not expect to see officers trying to intervene or keep the sides apart. Lovell said. This decision was made based on the department's significant staffing shortage, legal restrictions when responding to protests and a history of officers presence. Increasing tensions. So I want to get this right. You've got the proud boys and you've got antifa and you're telling me that the presence of the police officers will increase the tensions. That would be yesterday. Wheeler, who oversees the police Bureau. City no longer believe that tactic was the correct one. You know what he says. He says it is clear based on the public outcry on the media outcry on the national front that the strategy was not the right strategy. He says. I think that we can all acknowledge that and he says that he takes full responsibility. I guess I've got to ask the question. Now in Portland, something is going on. To which I referred yesterday. It's about the mandate to have police get vaccines. As you know, and this is what I was talking about. I think yesterday and also last week The cops in Portland. Sued the governor. Because they said, We don't want this. We don't want to be forced him to taking the vaccine. Sounds like the city of Portland and the state of Texas or not making nice right now, David and I think Texas is just fine with this If the Portland City Council goes through with what's being proposed, which is to Band, future travel goods and services from the state of Texas because of the new abortion law. The city of Portland right now is thinking. All right, well, we'll throw our weight around here. We'll get this thing overturned in Texas. I know of some delusional leaders, but this is right up there. Wow. Ted Wheeler, AK. Tod Whalen is out there saying yes, we can't do this because we must protect women's health. Dude you've got like, Yeah, you've got like a record homicide and shooting streak going on right now. You have anarchy in the streets almost every weekend. You got bigger fish to fry than trying to take on the Texas state Legislature. I don't know if you heard this, Uh there are people like Bette Midler and Alyssa Milano. Oh, yeah. They're fighting taxes, Are they? Yes. Yeah. They want ladies to go on a sex strike in Texas. Not having sex with the men of Texas until this abortion this unfair Abortion laws over dirt. Are you telling me that if I'm from Texas, Bette Midler will not have sex with me. Not just that she's encouraging. Other women did not have sex with you and every other guy, Texas. I mean, if it was just bet, Miller says, I'm not going to. Well, That's yeah, that's not hard, Is it? That's second to move the needle much. I'm No thinking. There's it's just absolutely ridiculous. Well, all the all the predictable reactions to this including the sex strike and all this and then Yeah, maybe we need to pass a law that Requires men to take care of babies. All that stuff. It's like, hold on a second. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. You're preaching abstinence. You're demanding that men be accountable for their Children. That's right. And you want to keep Portland out of Texas. Quit handing me wins like this. It's not even fun anymore. Yeah, Yeah. Oh, my gosh. I don't know if you guys saw this story, um Because the migrant issue as far as illegal immigration coming up through Texas, our southern border that's still rolling on its not being paid attention to, but it's still happening, right? Yeah, the story that a migrant caravan another one, making its way from, you know, Mexico's southern border. Up to the United States was broken up. Nobody who No Mexican border agents, really, and police in riot gear. Yes, talking like 800 people. Largely central Americans. Haitians, Venezuelans, Cubans. Spent the night at a basketball court. This is about 25 miles up the road from the border city of Tapachula. And so, according to Reuters. Um You had all this commotion. Some parents in the caravan separated from their kids get that And the officials sought to intercept migrants who ran for the banks of the river there. So you've got migrants then hiding and vegetation near the river. Some allege that law enforcement used excessive force as they raided the caravan. Several people detained And according to the story, it was at least the fourth such group forced to disperse by Mexican security forces in a week. My word has come down to Mexico. You got to do something about this. At least somebody is doing something about it. Yes. So where does that happens that Mexico on their own? Did we tell Mexico on the down low? Hey. Got to do something here, but we can't actually say it is the United States because we'll take off all the far lefties. Well, the thing is, is at this point in Mexico, and this was true even a few years ago. You know the the caravans as they make their way through Mexico create an enormous burden on towns and cities that don't actually have the ability to take care of them either. Under the story out of Tijuana few years ago. There are people who are living there and they were like, Hey, these migrant caravans are showing up. We've got suddenly like whatever it was 10,000 people who are just kind of hanging out here. Because Trump won't let him into the United States. They gotta go back. We can't feed them and the sanitation issue. Yeah. Oh, yeah, that's true. It happens everywhere. Over these caravans are So the president of Mexico, Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador said Thank you put a little flagrantly David and roll. They're not going. Okay. Sorry as good as you're working on it. Work in progress. Says. We just can't be detaining. Check it because is must be addressed. Oh, jeez. So he is saying to the Biden administration. Can you help the migrants find work? Like maybe a U. The portland city council is set to vote on essentially boycotting the state of texas over. Its anti choice. Law which effectively bans the vast majority of abortions in the state now The question is can they do it and will really have any type of impact Now portland mayor. Ted wheeler said that the city council will vote on whether to ban trading goods and services with texas and also bar state employees from official business travel as well the resolution if passed would also bar city employees traveled to the state mayor wheelers office said that the resolution would be in effect until taxes either withdraws the abortion law or it gets overturned in court. Let me give you a little bit of mayor. Wheelers statement on this. He says quote. The law does not demonstrate concern for the health safety and wellbeing of those who may become pregnant. This law does not recognize or show respect for the human rights of those who may become pregnant. The law rewards a private individuals for exercising surveillance and control of over others bodies. violates the separation of church and state and it will force people to carry pregnancies against their will and he's right about that It also says women to carry their pregnancies to term even if they've been the victim of rape or incest so it's a pretty extreme law to say the least but i also want to note that It appears that if they do pass this resolution. It'll mostly be symbolic. So how much business does portland do with texas. A quick search portland's current three volume. One thousand nine hundred four page budget returned only one mention of texas but that was a reference to a highway improvement project which included south west texas street in portland. The texas economy by the ways the ninth largest in the world and that's according to the texas economic development corporation Texas exports about three hundred fifteen point nine billion dollars worth of goods and services to countries outside of the united states each year including exports like petroleum and coal products So i like that. The city council is considering making a stand. Even if it's just a symbolic one But just know that even if they do vote in favor of this resolution and overwhelmingly pass it. It is unlikely to really have an impact on the decisions of texas lawmakers who were trying to appeal to their rabid right wing voters. Yes so. I still love it. I think it's the right idea and sometimes talked about building a change machine here at ti. T. and of course it's a funny phrase right. Nobody knows what it means. But what part of what. It means right So you know. Hey listen. I'm here all week. Coming up with these brilliant ideas noble part of what it means and eventually i hope people understand What we're going for here is for example. I'd like to follow suit. If we were larger corporation. Be easier to do and say. Hey we're not going to do business in texas either and we'd have to figure out what that means et cetera. But then i would love to build. A coalition of small businesses saying we will not go to texas. That would have more impact in portland starts this. I would love to help coalition of cities that say we're not going to do business with texas anymore and that would have a huge impact. Both those things would. So that's part of why i'm trying to grow this into a bigger network so we can have bigger impact in a lot always including financial. Because that's the only thing that really moves the needle especially for conservatives. She goes their donors are pretty much business interests as so if you hurt the business interests or your effective business interests then you could affect laws like this and then all of a sudden. Republican politicians are a little bit more. Careful how they tread at this point. They're not at all careful because greg abbott. The governor of texas was asked about the fact that there was no exception to rape or incest. Zana pointed out in this law and he said no. It's okay 'cause we're we've got a plan. We're going to wipe out rate from texas. So yeah because especially the republican party. They've they've shown themselves to be People who take rape and the mistreatment of women very seriously. Yeah yeah and reap is not wiped out anywhere on the planet. It's an absurd thing to say is the kind of thing you say if you have nothing else left to say which is greg. abbas situation. because they're saying basically if you don't carry a rapist's baby to term we're gonna have a whole bunch of vigilantes in the state of texas to come after you in the clinic so you're going to try to hound you and bankrupt the people trying to help you now. The woman by the way just to clarify can't be sued clinics but the clinics can and the woman would have to be part of those proceedings Which would be all you have to track. The women violate their privacy and be totally gross to them. Okay and of course the effective it is to make them carry the zygote all the way to a term and take care of it for eighteen years basically turn the woman into channel an indentured servant of the state That's why people compared to handmaid's tale. Because you're using the women for their bodies and not asking for permission but yes the clinics. Pay the money. Yep all right one more story before we go to our break Because nike stepped in it and I don't know how they didn't see this coming. So.

"Before we get to portland. I would just like to give an update to the texas the texas heartbeat law that is in effect as of right now in texas. The justice department actually said that it will not tolerate violence against anyone who is trying to obtain an abortion in texas as they explore of course a challenge whatever their options will be for a challenge to the state law. So merrick garland said the justice department would quote protect those seeking to obtain or provide reproductive health services Under a federal law known as the freedom of access to clinic. Entrances act And again i mean. I don't think it will be too much longer before we do. See the justice department Hand something over to texas file some sort of a lawsuit against us. Do you have your with i. I wrote a bill that governors didn't oklahoma signed against sex trafficking but the moment he signed my bill the bill he signed right before me was the heartbeat building oklahoma. And that's about to come into effect and become law. So you're going to see other states so i know for a fact. Oklahoma coming right on texas texas's heels here for it. Become you know the law. They signed the heartbeat. Bill and others are going to come to. Texas is not going to stand alone on this for long. Sarah this other states. It's going to be able to bolster support. And i personally think v wait gets turned honestly really. I think we're gonna see it. I we have a window. You're much more optimism. Because i'm telling you. I think watch. There's a there's a slow going to catch them by surprise because there is a whole lot of other things because this snuck in like. How in the heck did that happen in texas well newsflashes already signing oklahoma. I was there for the signing. Okay so in other states have come into so. I think now the people are speaking up. I'm very positive about that. Wow yeah well you know. It's interesting the language that maryland uses. Because i i feel like i mean. It's already violence against other people already illegal so it is interesting that they're like well we're not gonna tolerate violence against the people who are committing violence against their babies. We're not gonna tolerate that. It's like. I'm pretty sure like you're not allowed to assault people already. I don't think we need justice department until they go threaten us yeah But let me okay so let me throw the other story about this into the mix of the portland city council Plans to vote on prohibiting business transactions with the state of texas over this new law and They said there. They want to ban trading goods and services and bar city employees business travel to texas which is weird. I didn't realize that they even had a government. They just i mean. There's like a great picture of portland. Where where's where's this. Where's the city council there. Where's the mayor there. Where's the city government there. I don't see them so. I'm just shocked about that part. We're not going to send any of our zoo to texas. Thank you thank you for not michael. And he watches the show and he's a businessman in portland. He's trying to help save that city. He's probably gonna protest because he travels to texas a lot but no hey keep him. Keep on their. Keep the crazy californians. Keep them all. We're pretty good year in texas. We don't need any of that here. Well they the portland city council stands unified in. Its belief all people should have the right to choose if and when they carry a pregnancy Pretty sure you choose that whenever you do the act And that the decisions they make are complex difficult and unique. To their circumstances the band will be in effect until the state of texas withdraws. It's unconstitutional ban on abortion or until it is overturned in court city legal counsel is currently evaluating legal aspects of this proposed resolution. All my god. Eric not the communists coming to texas we do. I don't care where you're at on the subject of bush and that's the silver lining while it. Is that a bunch of brain lift off. We can't go to texas. Thank you like if nothing else if nothing else. That is a positive thing Pretty sure it probably goes one way when it comes to trade in portland especially when it comes to oil and other things. I don't think that's a he'll that they certainly want to die on. This is more just political. Posturing is certainly all that. This doesn't mean certainly anything. Look i don't know what's going to come of this. Definitely with the federal government evolved. Hopefully if nothing else more we get more civil than that. He ended texas stock to get enough of the you know the lower extremities to say screw the federal government and we've become a nation state on. Oh i would love that. That would be fantastic and maybe this will be the the tipping point where the federal government finally gets the toilet go through themselves because that what what what can they do. What are they gonna do. You can't do that. We're going to do what now. I love what you just said. Hey we're not going. Send anything your way anymore. We don't need any. Hey how about. We stopped sending anything. How are we turn valves. The funny thing about like when it comes to like. Oh these these pro would not pro-trade at all. Let me say that. Have never been pro-life reach ray but certainly with the like migration thing we're seeing now with the vaccine is a will you notice that he's whole open borders free free movement freedom of movement. Soon as you get to talk about vaccines and now we're talking about abortion and they wanna stop moment of people from moving around at disagrees with the mess hilarious out of works out like that. What's the first thing they did was shazad shop. When they secured that perot. Yeah we need power. We need food. Yeah like okay. Let's can we make some deals. We called ourselves autonomous. But what that meant exactly. Yeah exactly i. This reminds me of all of these leftists on twitter. That have just been you know freaking out still about the new texas law and they're like wall truth to ban or to see that we hate it we're gonna stop having sex with men and like great. I think that you stop having you're responsible. Sex with multiple partners sucking having abortions voted on so are alternatives abortion downright thing. Who knew ask bill. This is a great. We're something a lot of times you threaten me with a good time. No like out here at texas for those of us to those of you. The guy who wants to show a lot of the movement when you talk about pro-life movement in this in in a state at the forefront of it are women. I've hated how they've crafted this moron. Discussion as men ruled right. It's like. I don't think you understand what's really going. Most of the women that the people that are not speaking so much about this. That i've known in my life have all been women for the most part because it's so close to home certainly for them so they need to dispel that narrative that it's men doing something to the women's bodies. There's no women that are at the forefront of any eric again. It's because they bought into this fake feminist movement in this country that the feminists in this country are really about women's rights in. They're not they're about themselves. It's like you know a self elevating movement it is women fighting this fight absolutely predominantly in texas. All right. we've got more to come. I want to thank our sponsor built bar. So if you're like.

"Wheeler and the Portland City Councils say that they are going to quote, cut trade and travel with Texas. And I think you know why. So this is the This is the thing that's become really standard over the last. I don't know, however many years And you saw a lot of it. Obviously with HB two when that was going on, you'd have, like the state of California will not approved travel to North Carolina unless it's pre approved emergency or something. And then You're like, Okay, So what? What is? What does that cover? So you guys will not officially send anyone from California unless it's an emergency. And especially a government. Official. I don't know A lot of people in North Carolina who want California government officials running around over here because they'll touch stuff they'll mess stuff up. They can't help it. So now the state of Texas has to deal with the city of Portland, not wanting to do it. It's just a giant empty gesture. And I'll explain why. Because For core fundamental things where people would actually travel. Right? That they'll go ahead and approve that. And then people will travel anyway. Don't you ever seen a follow up story of this? California has I think that you have, like God? A dozen or more states where, uh, where officials don't travel, too, because at various points they California didn't like something that another state did with their laws. And decided that they were going to, um you know somebody was going to make a statement at the Legislature. Or on the you know, Los Angeles City Council or whatever it was, and it's all meaningless. So they get out of sending somebody. If a conference happens to be somewhere, that's you know, not necessary, and even then. You've seen exemptions for stuff like that, Because quote unquote, it was important to core functions or something. So I'm sure that Texans are waking up this morning and they're just devastated. So good for you, Ted Wheeler. Right. 8889347874 the phone number. Speaking of devastated Um all right, well, hang out with this. Yeah. J. What's up? Hey, Casey, Um, this situation of leaving $90 billion of equipment. Has just made the Taliban the fifth most powerful military in the world. And if that isn't eight and and comfort to the enemy, I don't know what is. I don't they're saying waiting till 2022 when the Republicans gain to, uh Power in the House and the Senate. But this is this is not right. Craig Biden is not incompetent. He's criminal. Is criminal and needs to be impeached immediately along with Pelosi and Harris, because they're in common. They're complicit in a law in this situation, and I was going to ask you What is the possibility of a military intervention over President Biden's head would just be considered treason or mercy. So you're you want a coup, sir? No, No, I don't want to cool, but it's something needs to be done and need to be as they say, What do you think? Military competence. What? That's military intervention, sir. That's a coup in Afghanistan. Afghanistan, Not in the United States. Casey in Afghanistan, Okay, I'm sorry. I misunderstood. I thought you were implying that the military do something here. And I was going to give you this looking for my so long. Yeah, I'm not looking for martial arts. Yeah, Yeah. Okay, um Why does the with would that be considered treason or mercy? Because, uh, over to override President Biden? I say, President, I say President, I use that term loosely because he's not in charge. If they cut the courts, the president Biden, he would, he would drop like howdy duty or Pinocchio. And that's all that's all in deference to Howdy Doody in Pinocchio because they have a greater linguistic dexterity than Joe Biden. Well, look, you know, I tend to try to deal in the practical side of things on the practical side of things is The impeachment, it has been turned into a It's silly putty at this point, obviously, evidence it's all you have to do. To example that is compare the Ukraine phone call with the Afghan phone call. Hey, would you help me? So, but you know, it does matter who's in charge, so You know, that's that's the reality of it. Do you really think Magnus in charge? Yes, I do. Yes, you know, because he's the president. We disagree on that, then. Thanks, Casey. You disagree that he's the president. Disagreed. It is in charge. Someone's pulling strength. He's the price. I understand that and that just just because he's president doesn't mean he's in charge. Casey The the power the powers that be controlling interest. Obama. People in the in the back in the, uh, in the In the In the back of the scene, the scenery are pulling the strings. I mean, really? I say, Check your watch or take a nap. But as far as well in this country. He's not running this country, Casey. No, but he is because he's the president. I understand where you're going. No, no, no, I'm not going anywhere, sir. Here's what I'm here is that and I appreciate the call J. I'm not going to sit here and and After the The hyperbole and the, um After what I just witnessed during the previous administration and where politicians are willing to take this stuff. In the sense that no Joe Biden is in charge. Do Does he have people that are Are definitively dipping their toe in the water to influence what it is he's doing and has he probably yielded. Saying, You know what? This. You're more of an expert here. Um yeah, that sounds good. Let's go ahead and do that. Is there some collusion if you will not, maybe not, in the legal sense, but in the the actual sense of where There are certain platform items and pet projects that Joe Biden is willing to be.

"The entire state of Texas. Really? In protest of our new abortion law. Yep. Statement released Friday for Mayor Ted Wheeler in the City Council said they will hold a vote on the resolution this upcoming Wednesday, September the eighth with the intent to ban Portland's future procurement of goods and services from And city employee business traveled to the entire state of Texas. Did they buy anything from us? Well, I imagine they probably do. Well, I guess I have to get somewhere else. I think we'll be okay with it. Something tells me we'll sell them. This is something something you know, like. We're the largest beef producer in the country. Doesn't know any me. There's a few of them probably cell imported from Canada will just have to eat veggie burgers. In Portland, Oregon. Um, he also said the Portland City Council stance unified into split that all people should have the right to choose if and when they carry a pregnancy in the decisions they make are complex, difficulty and unique to the circumstances. The ban will be in effect until the state of Texas withdraws his unconstitutional Ben and it's not unconstitutional what but until the state withdraws its unconstitutional ban on abortion or until it's overturned in court. City legal counsel is currently evaluating the legal aspects of the proposed resolution. And I say that's fine with me. In fact, if you if maybe the state of Texas you just ban anybody from Portland, Oregon from coming here That that they'd be five with me, too. It's it's all there. It's all up on our block. We've documented it for you. If you'd like to take a look at that. Um Wheeler initially indicated common cause with the far left. Last year, he marched with these people, and he got tear gassed. As I just explained the county district attorney over there in Portland, Mike Schmidt consistently declined to prosecute rioters. Weird, not punishing these people is caused it to get worse and worse. Who could have seen that happening? Guys Repeat after me. I've said this so many times on this show, you will never be woke enough for the rage Mob. You'll never be woken up for him. Apple COMPUTERS Starbucks, the MBA. These people all claim to support black lives matter. They throw money at these organizations to help bail out there. Activists and TIFA PLM. It's basically the same group of people. Oddly enough, when these people go out and riot what did they destroy the apple store, the Starbucks? They don't care. You will never be woke enough for the rage Mob Portland City Council to funded its police department. Since then, crime has skyrocketed in what was once a very peaceful city. 10 years ago. Portland wasn't like this. I first encountered a group of the anti fur activists terrorists, if you will, That's what I would call them. Whatever you want to call him back in May of 2012, I was about to move to Houston. I attended many political rallies. When I was a young pull it in my twenties as a talk radio producer and in Chicago, I would go travel to political protests and I would interview people and normally, it was funny. Usually I would go and I would try to ask funny questions and elicit funny reactions and they'd either get mad or they'd laugh. You know, depending on what the joke was that I was telling him back in May of 2012. There was the G 12 summit. It came to Chicago and I went and interviewed these people. We knew political protest would be rampant throughout the city. So I wrote a mountain bike through downtown Chicago where I encountered, among other things, people in masks actively trying to destroy the city. I was 2012. Nobody knew what Antifa was back then I could see I've gone long on this segment. Quick break more on this when we get back Kenny Webster,.
