"Boarded up and everything. I just saw somebody posted about it. I guess I don't know that was that's a classic history. Dude, that was the place to go to soak up because They had the tastiest but single greasy assed slices you've ever seen in your life and nothing help settle your stomach after a night out at the bar after your type of nine out at the bar like catfish like fish, Uh, there was a what a cool What a cool article. And what a cool situation that We were looking at earlier Jr Majewski is his name, and he lives up in the looks like the Bay Township, which is just west of Port Clinton there near the Portage River. And he he actually paint his yard. I mean, he's he's actually done this before, but he painted his entire yard as a trump banner. And I wanted to actually get him on the show today, and he agreed to come in or come on, brother and, hey, J R. Welcome to the Mark Blazer show. Thanks for coming on, brother. I appreciate this. Hey, Mark. Thanks for having me, man. I really appreciate it. So let's talk about this. All right. So start with the fact that this isn't the first. This ain't your first paint rodeo, as they say of you've actually been doing this. You did. You've done an American flag. What other things have you painted in your yard there? Well, we've done just random things. It's gotten bigger and bigger over the years, But it really last years when I hit the mark, where we actually attracted a lot of, say outside attention. And But years before it was just small stuff like we would paint stars and small flags and you know, in certain areas of the yard, But nothing is dramatic as I got last year with the with the flag, so you did the whole yard Last year was was the American flag kind of correct? Okay, Well, you have the front yard a lot smaller oven area than we did this year. So this they're this area this year. I'm sorry. I realized they cut you off there. What were you going to say? I apologize. You say, same area of the yard, but just a lot smaller footprint. So you did it in the backyard this year, Correct. No, both of them have been in the front yard. Okay. Sorry. I'm confused. Obviously have never been in your yard, but so so right. So this year what made you think you know what I'm gonna do? A trump banner in the yard? Obviously, you're trump supporter. But what made you what made you go? You know what? I'm going to go and do this? Because we all know especially if you're a Trump supporter. It's a polarizing subject to say the least touch. I mean, you see people, you see it all the time on social media. You see it all over. People end up in fistfights, all kinds of crazy stuff. So what made you think you know what I'm gonna do this? Well, I think a lot of it has to do with being silent being a silent majority. If you will, I think I got a lot of encouragement from my friends. Everybody was anticipating what I was going to do this year. I really wanted to do something. You know that was going to be mind blowing. That's just my character and we initially we're looking at the POW. But because of some concerns with the black paint, we decided not to do that. And then you know, with everything that's going on socially at this point. I think if there's one person that my brother have people that know me speak for me, But there is one person that has the character that would be able to pull something off like that. You still have Non contentious environment would make. I mean I had a lot of friends over this weekend had 50 60 people over. Somewhere. Trump supporters somewhere, not and they even went as far as the putting finds out my yard. This is you know, we support Trump, but it's okay. If you don't. We could still be friends. That's the kind of things that I think are missing. So it was. It was a challenge to do it. But I I was after the task, and I think we pulled it off pretty well. I haven't had any Polarising, Um, attention, and so today actually wanted got a lot of social media attention today have been probably the worst, but I've seen it. There's a lot of A lot of discontent out there on social media networks, So they're doing it on social media. They're not actually coming by your residents. Correct? No, nobody's coming by the resident. I live in a private area. And it's It's off limits to the public. I mean, people can come back here, but it's still it's still maintain this private. So you know, with a phone call to local law enforcement if we need to right way could have moved out of the area. So I have no concerns. Protesters came and then the right no issues with that noise with protesting whatsoever songs peaceful and doesn't damage my property or interfere with my day to day life will hurt my family. Come on, Mom. All four. Amen to that. We're talking to J. R. Majewski Jr painted his entire yard as Trump Banner, and he's up near the Port Clinton area near the Portage River in Bay Township. And, uh, how much paint did it take to do this? And how big is the area? 120 gallons, give or take a few couple mistakes probably could have done it with less, but actually had an elderly lady drive by in our golf cart. She knocked over a five gallon bucket of my painting. It's It's a mixture of water, so A five gallon bucket of paint will actually get you 10 to 15 gallons of spray so about 120 gallons. Total and It took me around 50 hours. The paint In about 100 over a little bit over 100 hours to figure it all out, You know, do the way strong. It made sure it was level with my drone in the air to make sure that it was straight. It looks great. Looks the whole nine yards. Jarrett's Josh question. I know it's It's not just like for anybody who thinks like, Oh, my gosh, What's this guy doing? His polluting the environment? This is ah, special type of paint, right? This is a bio friendly pain, So it's not like you're out there, you know, letting all the toxins run wash wild all over your neighborhood. Yeah, that's correct. You know, we live in a water water basin. Here I have. I'm in a floodplain so way are socially and economically friendly. I work in the nuclear industry so I understand the environment and we use the paint that's actually used by Say, I think it's around 60% of collegiate in high school Athletic association is around the country. It's ah Sports field paint, So it's susceptible to the rain and it totally environmentally.

"John Cena and Johnson one thousand in Chicago there you go thanks little but again here is everywhere you could hear me following up to the east coast Maine and I've got to tell you I'm I'm very touched about a year or so ago I was talking on the phone a gentleman was listening us on the stream in Rome that's in Rome Italy by the way and this morning when the show didn't air at six o'clock and like I said just a little ground one of the computer work this morning but we'll be back to normal next week the cool thing was I had people from Scotland England and France texting me saying Hey sorry actually they're sending a Facebook message Hey weren't as everything okay are you are you on the air are you feeling okay so we're all right Thomas will be round about an hour later you're listening to the stream all over Europe which is really a mind blowing thing here let's talk about something here okay this is gonna sound very confusing the state of Illinois the permit for resources the governor close all the state parks fishing and wildlife areas and the buildings of the state can help control the virus but in his press conference yesterday he said he wants people to get out and enjoy you know get out walk hi Jack a little bit you know which includes facing that he was going through I mean it was just like okay then you close all state parks I understand not really but that's okay but the you know what that means is that I've had to answer questions for example the channel it's the state park is closed but there's private ramps to the lake that you can access the lake that means the lake is open it's only the state parks are close gotta read that's how that balances out so please remember that the bodies of water are open if there is access to that other than the state landers state park or whatever okay the forest preserve district of lake DU page and will cook county Arnold is coming out later in the show to talk about it it's an old Randall the general superintendent of forces are district of cook county he's coming out to talk about cook county which is all positive positive positive in but later Peyton will buildings very close programs have stopped but they want you to get out they want you to walk the force users that watch the fish swim ride a bike through them if you want a Jack O. Jack if you want to have a little picnic with your family or kids or something that's okay too because you don't want them for weeks you know what you just practice social distance this practice social distance that's important thank you so all the forces in the northeastern Illinois are open for business except for the buildings facilities and stuff like that McEnery county activation district the lands and waters that are part of the district are open to visit walk fish wander around and enjoy please remember that that's the word I got from them this week the building is buildings and group programs have been closed but the outdoors is wide open it's kind of a cool thing to say okay member doctors is that getting outdoors will help us make us feel better the from staying locked up in your home just practice proper social distance and as a matter of fact but the little bit cultivates you mother nature blown off that lake and she's got it cold but let's talk about a few other things wild Turkey season permits are available online and over the counter you go to the ID in our website or you go to your local pet shop Henry's is open servicing all the fishing needs for the northeastern Illinois in Lake Michigan the salmon fishing and stuff like that might be a little bit breezy out there so be careful of the two thousand twenty Illinois spring trout fishing season is still a go state sites might be we'll have to keep you posted on but all the other ones that are not stated Illinois sites will probably and we will keep you posted at this point in time they're saying they will be open Michigan many state parks are open then close a few of the centers they get a lot of people but you go on line to Michigan that guardian our for more information for their get that info or call the Michigan department of natural resources and customer service number it's really easy to go to find just gonna website it's right there but you know what they want people to get out enjoy the outdoors also and do it with social distancing our Wisconsin starting March sixteenth which is a couple days ago beginning of the week hundred and thirteen thousand four hundred and twelve additional Turkey permits are available in several of the turkeys owns on seven of them as a matter of fact I think for a second so check that out and this is a mouth full of for Wisconsin in Minnesota so I'm gonna go through this once I can't do it in one breath but it's pretty it's about fixing okay and not since April first is around the corner there's some new fishing road rules and rags that are coming out for Wisconsin DNR these are pools three dateline Mississippi River down to the mission Minnesota border with Ireland in Wisconsin I will boundary waters only walleye and sauger regulations change walleye in pools three two eight the daily bag limit for walleye and sauger will before with the fifteen inch minimum length for walleye and none for soccer in only one walleye or sauger over twenty inches will be allowed to harvest pulls nine through twelve in Wisconsin waters and Wisconsin Minnesota boundary waters daily bag limit for walleye and sauger will be six total with the fifteen inch minimum a limit for walleye and none for Sager a protected slot limits that's a little no one here is for twenty to twenty seven inches for why only one walleye over twenty seven inches is allowed information pulled three to nine the daily bag limit for white and yellow bass is going to be reduced to ten in total with no size limit while the daily bag limit for sunfish crappies and perch will be reduced to fifteen of each with no size limit white bass turn important component of the overall harvest with a high catch rates but the data they're saying is showing that there's been a decline in in low reproduction and recruitment so there you know the structure well beat up so you know when we're fishing for they want to kind of limit that so the population get backup daily bag limit for several no station is in pool three to nine it's been reduced to three no size limit every we get put on trucks is great outdoors on Facebook a video outdoor news and fishing report you can listen to this program again through the ESPN app or you can go to trust Facebook specialties great outdoors and click on our outdoor report and get all this information again that's pretty good once again Colo doing pretty good and life for when the weather is working well but it might be a little bit blustery today with those northeast winds blown those waves on the lake hardliners you're using pretty much two barbers wanted each and a lot of folks on night crawlers large minnows a saponin Henry's role your bait fishing licenses cetera our struggle river a few crappie and bluegill have been taken but only a few anglers have been out in the Chicago River there's nobody out there this morning I already called up my buddies and they sent out a little cold to go now north west Indiana when the weather is good the cold air pocket mark ball buddy mine was out earlier this week and just spank them really fast in the body is can't go wrong with that portage river walk is also releasing that releasing giving up low number call and scan and scan is fish eggs and a stoner metal sat night crawlers and shrimp those are cool crappie and bluegill is starting to improve and then we got to school cold snap move then so will probably be Sunday or Monday when that all picks up let's celebrate what Heinecke all states sites are closed I am sorry to say that all of them are closed channel lakes state parks close but the Lakers open and some of the people told me that they were catching crappies a little bit on the small side middles and color Jakes what they're looking for the big once you start moving in with a little bit warmer weather this is a rend lake that it would some heavy rains but they feel that the service will be back up by Monday twelve to let's say sixteen feet of water they reported fish that they're gonna find him and not once again the US army corps of engineers site across from the state park the boat ramp and shore fishing is open there if you want to can't go wrong with that let's go with the most important what everybody looks forward to every week it's not the radio so but it's the report from my grandson Aiden sponsored by water works were read once again I haven't read this until right now pop up we've been home for a week and I think me and my sister are driving mom nuts she gets upset with us right okay I can't see gets upset with that's really fast so we try to stay away from her we understand are you smart can I bet you do understand many places are open to fishing while we've been off this week my buddy said that the smaller lakes that there you want to with their mom and dad there catching crappies and the bite was getting better almost every day and we're looking forward to getting a crappy dinner from one of them still Dan and I went to the Grand River in downtown grand rapids and we saw a good number of steelhead being caught and they're real pretty fish bright colors in their hidden lots of different lives and artificial baits like jigs would spawn beads while bolos I think they're funny when they would go in the water and still had are also being caught fire house in the rogue river mostly on jigs and wax worms Muskegon Rogers dead I love the symptoms sometimes eight typing isn't always clear muskeg and Rogers dad when surf casting okay Rogers then went surf casting and quite some steelhead I would like to try that sometime with them because they use long rides and it looks like a lot of fun he told me that some perch are being caught near the channel of Muskegon lake and by the bear lake channel in the Muskegon river water levels are a bit high but some people were still catching fresh fish the deeper holes and that's what you need to work thank you for the bag of stuff that you sent me from the Bassmaster classic I'll wear the hat and I'll try to fishing lures as soon as we can get out and search for some large mouth bass we'll talk to you next week love your grandson Aiden that's the information reports brought to you by water works very sometimes typing IT I read it may go what's he talking about but does so that's okay that's okay Hey you know I mentioned out there's a lot of small businesses with their baby traps the stores small restaurants you know they really they really really really need our support and you know one of our favorite sponsors who are first monster from when we started chatting great outdoors twenty seven years ago was false pizza at seven oh eight five three one nine oh eight oh call Paul's after ten o'clock you have an order for pick up to eight tried to tell me to call you on the air and now you get your P. sandwiches hot dogs whatever you want to check out the menu on the board when you're on Facebook not
